The Beach House Bistro & Bar is a unique venue located in the heart of Blackpool, offering stunning views of the Irish Sea and the famous promenade. The stylish and relaxed interior creates an unparalleled ambiance for guests to enjoy eclectic global dishes. From 10am-12 noon, visitors can indulge in a delightful brunch menu featuring items such as Pokeado Toast, Sunshine Bowl, and Berry Pancakes.
Great place — Applaud the originality and attention to detail! The interior design, location, and staff are what truly make this place special. It’s a refreshing change for Blackpool – unique, stylish, and it almost feels like you’re somewhere in Spain. The food was tasty (thanks to a great recommendation from our waitress), and the service was five-star from start to finish. While it may feel a little more premium price-wise for the area, it’s well worth it. I highly recommend stopping by – grab a bite, enjoy a drink or two, and soak up those ocean views!

Visited last Sunday with family and loved it. On arrival we were greeted on the door with a lovely smile. A little early we asked to sit at the bar for a drink and did so. Bar staff were very friendly and polite, happy to suggest what was great on the menu. We had starters and mains, I had the scallops which were fresh and tasty with a lovely tasty salad very refreshing. Mains I had a great wood fired pizza, and was not disappointed. The restaurant is on the dearer side, but great staff and fresh produce I do recommend as a treat!
Andrew W — Google review
We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had seafood papadelle and my husband had the best fish n chips ever. The service was excellent Paris really looked after us all considering how busy it was. She even brought me sofa water apparently it's the best at getting stains out and she's not wrong!
Sharon T — Google review
Booked a table early, so we got seats right by the window with a full beach view — the place looks great 👍🏻 Probably because we came early, it wasn’t too crowded either. Opened the menu and realised the prices weren’t bad at all. Or maybe things in Blackpool just aren’t as expensive as down south? Not sure about that. Anyway, the brunch was beautifully presented and tasty. For four people, even with the 7% service charge, it only came to £71 — such a bargain! Definitely recommend!
Edwin — Google review
Me and my boyfriend went out for our first proper dinner date here today. And we were both blown away by the amazing food and service! Our table was by the window and we had a great view of the sunset over the sea. We were served by Fraya and she was absolutely amazing. The food was 110% worth the price, I would have even payed more for it. The atmosphere and vibe was spot on. Would recommend and would go again! 💕
Sam A — Google review
Amazing views & amazing food! Came for a drink at dinner time as the sun blasted down, then booked a table for teatime to eat and watch the sunset! Staff were amazing! Live music on Sunday afternoon!

What a fabulous place. The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and attentive, the location is amazing! We will be back.

Pub
Rhythm and Brew Room is a charming, independently owned pub with a rich history as the birthplace of Blackpool Football Club. It features an on-site brewery and offers a welcoming atmosphere for groups, couples, and families. Located near North Pier and Winter Gardens, it boasts a wide selection of craft beers and real ales, including unique brews like Blackpool Blonde and Tangerine Dream. The menu includes sausage sandwiches, subs, nachos, pizzas, and other soulful delights.
5 stars for beer selection and the ambience of the place. Early on so quietish, the atmosphere was relaxed, mostly an older 'pub' crowd and a few beer-tickers. It's an old building and the decor is sympathetic to its age, seating is comfortable & plentiful. The only menu I saw was for beer so not sure if they do food - not what I went in for anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️ Dunno if it turns into a 'party pub' later on but had an enjoyable couple of pints chatting. The area above the church & winter gardens has quite a few decent pubs nowadays, the traditional "kiss me quick" vibe persists with cheaper pints of big brewery keg beer, karaoke & sky sports still available at trad pubs off the main drag if that's what you're after, but you have some choice, which is nice...
Nick C — Google review
Top venue with an on site brewery, great live music and brilliant staff, try the Dubai chocolate stout, it ain't cheap, but it's next level good!
Be C — Google review
What a surprise! Birthplace of Blackpool FC, now a brewery tap. Cracking range of beers and great wines too.
Mikey J — Google review
This is my local, just down from my salon. The people are wonderful, the beers are fresh and always changing. They Brew their own booze too so it's always good to try new flavours. A fabulous choice of spirits, ciders and sours too. Live music every week, open mic nights once a month also crafting evenings and jam sessions too as well as a pool table. What more could you ask for. X
Joe F — Google review
This is THE main pub that I recommend when going to Blackpool. Cozy, plenty of world & craft beers available on tap or by the bottle/can and a very welcoming atmosphere which makes it appealing if you are popping in during the day or making it a stop on your night out. The bar is also fully stocked with cask options from Pool Brewing, Blackpool's only local brewery. I'd reccomend a pint of the "For Real This Time" stout. All in all, its my favourite place to go in town for a drink, no matter what the occasion. All are welcome here and I highly reccomend that you check them out.
Corneilius M — Google review
Always come in at Rebellion Festival , it's selction of beers has exploded over past few years , ales on pump , more on tap, and huge selection of bottled beers 🍻

Fantastic find, great place, lovely people working there. 100% worth visiting
Sue B — Google review
Played a gig there last night. I'm not a local but if I was this would be one of my haunts. Nice big venue, friendly staff and community feel. Have their own brewery, I only tried their stout but it was nice and stouty and would buy again. Quite a big layout yet plenty of 'separate' seating areas so when there is live music on you can sit elsewhere and enjoy the music but still have the ability to hold a conversation without shouting. Clean environment, plenty to look at while in the men's bathroom (stickers/posters etc. 😆) A lovely pub and well worth a visit if you're in Blackpool! ,👍

The Velvet Coaster, a contemporary pub located just 150m from Blackpool South Pier, offers a variety of ales and traditional British cuisine in a seaside setting. This spacious venue features outdoor seating on all three levels, including a beautiful balcony on the first floor and an impressive rooftop terrace. Named after the historic wooden rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, The Velvet Coaster is conveniently situated for visitors to enjoy after a day at the amusement park or relaxing on South Beach.
Great prices, large glass of pinot was £3.66 Burger, chips and wine was around £11 Roof top bar looking out at the sea. Can't complain for those prices. You can order from your table via app as well, so you can take your time. Nice atmosphere and 3 level, 2 with outdoor seating. The toilets are massive as well. Possibly the nicest weatherspoons in UK I've visited. Great spot for Blackpool

I have eaten here alot . Most times ok food is not the best . This time was terrible. Waitress literally dumped it infront of me unwrapped knife and fork dumped on table was that bad I took a picture . Food mildly warm and fish was so dry again. Bar staff warm and friendly .
Mo M — Google review
Usually love this place, however bar man spilt pint all over and down the glass making it sticky and the pizza could of done with longer in the oven... Shame really!!
Steven T — Google review
Prime seafront spoons. But strangely this isn't premium priced. Lovely modern interior with lifts and multiple outside roof terraces. Yet still no premium pricing. As cheap as all other local towns. Really would have though this would be the most expensive kme in town given its location.
Dr W — Google review
Good wetherspoons close to the pleasure beach, having 3 floors with outdoor seating areas looking out over the sand castle and south pier
Ray I — Google review
It's the best looking spoons in Blackpool by some distance, but there is nothing else around it so it is a bit of a walk to get to, most of the bars are in the north end of the mile, the food is average and it's more expensive than normal, I suppose as there is no competition close by they can charge more but I suppose the overheads for this place is high it's on three floors and has a lift. Would be nice in the summer to come and sit outside and look at the the views, mainly used by families, and couples worth it for the views but was disappointed because was hoping it was going to be the best spoons I ever been in, but sadly the food and strange prices let it down.
Adam W — Google review
Typical weatherspoons, great prices but you can go to second floor or even rooftop for great views
Paul F — Google review
When we arrived it was quite quiet but we're welcomed with an open fire burning in the corner. So we thought ooh this looks cosy. We got some drinks and then ordered some food. A few minutes had lasped and the food was delivered to our table. I thought 'that was quick' commenting to my husband at the same time. But only to find that the food was cold. We returned it and was asked if we wanted a refund but weren't asked if we wanted the food replaced. When we did get the food replaced the waitress who waited on us was very dour faced, didn't even apologise for the first catastrophe, plonked it on our table and marched off. To top it all there was a workman in and was using a drill that was deafening. It went on forever. Not the service anyone would want in my opinion. Won't be going back. 😕

Popped in on the way past when visiting Blackpool as I had heard that they may have a gluten free beer. Well I was very pleased to have the choice of 3 keg and 1 cask ale to choose from along with a selection of cans and bottles in the fridge. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and I would recommend a visit to anyone looking for well kept beers ales and ciders in Blackpool

While we only popped in for one drink before an event, the gentleman behind the bar was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. Happy to let my partner try all the different beers on tap before deciding what he wanted, all the while giving info about each one. Highly recommended all around!

Excellent start here on my first night In Blackpool. Only popped in for one which turned into quite a few more due to the very friendly & knowledgable manager. Highly recommend.

If you're a craft beer lover in the area, do not miss out on the Layton Cask Micro Pub. The decor is absolutely stunning, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The attention to detail is impressive, and it's clear that the owner Paul has put a lot of love and care into the design. As for the beer selection, it's spot on. There's something for everyone here, from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts and everything in between. The prices are more than fair, especially given the quality of the beer and the overall experience. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They're all knowledgeable craft beer enthusiasts who are passionate about what they do. They're happy to chat with you about the different beers on tap and offer recommendations based on your preferences. I have to give a special shout-out to Gaz and Lee, who were incredibly helpful and friendly during my visit. And finally, I have to mention The Fiend Brewery beer, which was absolutely fantastic. It was the stand out beer for me, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Overall, Layton Cask Micro Pub is an outstanding spot for beer lovers. The decor is beautiful, the beer selection is top-notch, the prices are fair, and the staff are wonderful. Don't miss out on this gem of a pub!

Good selection of hot pies, pasties and sausage rolls the steak pie was lovely. Screens showing the live match and despite it being very busy it was a good atmosphere and the service was quick. We enjoyed our visit here. The interior of the building is very charming like many other wetherspoons. We opted for the katsu curry and a kids pasta. Food was okay, we've had better in spoons however service was good and the beer was cold. Will definitely visit again

Great place on the Promenade for a late drink. Just passing by at 11pm & decided to see if they were open. Got a really friendly welcome from the guy behind the bar. We had a pint and a half of Leffe on draught. This is my FAVOURITE beer ever and so rare to see it on draught. Tasted very good but needed a bit more of a head! Then we had two double JDs & coke. Excellent. Total was £20! We were amazed!! Great bar. Very large and clean. It was very quiet which was good as we could talk easily. Didn’t eat so cannot comment on the food. Aperol Spritz ~ bargain! Great place. Highly recommend.
Elviera L — Google review
I love Wetherspoons and frequent them often. However today’s food at this Wetherspoons was awful. Friday 23rd May 2025. I had a chicken jalfreizi and it was very watery, the poppadoms burnt, the naan bread rock hard and the rice had blue bits in it which was very off putting. This was the worse curry I’ve ever had in Wetherspoons and I’ve had hundreds of them over the years. I do love Wetherspoons though but this was not Upto its usual standards.
Fair R — Google review
This pub is very busy, and table service can be delayed as staff are trying to turn tables over for the next customers. We ordered the small plate deal, the pizza didn't come cut, but did come with a steak knife. The servers just plonked the plates down so to cut the pizza meant we had to juggle some hot plates, on a small table. I ordered a margarita as the price was very reasonable but it wasnt great.
Leanne R — Google review
Fairly decent Wetherspoons in the shadow of Blackpool tower. Very busy here as you would expect but using the app makes ordering very easy. Great value as always.
Dave P — Google review
OK for cheap drinks, but the Wetherspoons Korean chicken burger, coated with body armour dating back to the Korean war.... ending my day out, or maybe my life. Perhaps Ukraine might be interested in covering their tanks with this bread crumb. Typical wetherspoons, suitable for singing the drinking song from 'the Student Prince' as you drink. But not much else. I didn't finish their chips by the way, they were edible.

Was there for Rebellion. Great breakfasts. Great prices. The staff were nice and friendly though a bit overwhelmed, and extra pair of hands wouldn't be a miss. They should keep an eye on the coffee machines as they are often empty. But a superb experience and will return

First time in this wetherspoons and was very impressed, actually one of the best weatherspoons ive been in. Loads of staff working on a very busy Saturday night which was good to see, tables cleared and cleaned in minutes, drinks bought via the app brought over to the table in minutes of ordering, super fast food after ordering. The staff on that shift (saturday night 28th September) where a real credit to the manager of that spoons they had the place running like clock work and deserve some credit, some other wetherspoons could learn a lot from this one. Music on in the background made for a great atmosphere as well 👌
CarMadUK — Google review
We was pleasantly surprised with this wetherspoons. Not looking much from outside with a small outside terrace. Inside was standard wetherspoons on 3 floors with the bonus of a very nice roof terrace.

Food was absolutely atrocious.... ordered the pasta and my goodness the serving was absolutely ridiculous for the price. I asked the waiter if they had given a childs portion it was that small! Charging those prices for that portion was totally unacceptable. It would of been worth while if it had tasted good but it was basic and I had tasted better from a packet! 1 star - food 3 star service - based on the waiter who served the food this was decreased. 5 star - drinks and atmosphere

In the roof top bar it was lovely, but when I order a pint I want a pint not 3/4. When asked for him to fill it up he wasnt the most politeness .done it with a sarky comment wick at the age of 60 was taken a back. If you pay for a pint you should get a pint never mind what it costs a pint is a pint. Would recommend but some staff need more training.

I came to Blackpool with friends for a weekend, arriving on Friday afternoon, we decided we needed something to eat so came here to get something, we ordered food , then I decided to go downstairs to go for fresh air , I ended up fainting on the stairs & fell , all I can remember is The Manager & some other people surrounding me when I came too, I was given a glass of water & asked if I wanted an ambulance but I didn’t think I needed one as I just thought I just needed some food & fresh air. I never got to Thank the manager who was so kind & there were others too . I’ve now been told it’s because of my HRT tablets I’m on that can drop my blood pressure, from the bottom of my heart I so thank everyone for helping me plus they made sure our meal came out quick too.

Typical Wetherspoon in attractively converted building with nicely decorated bars on ground and first floors. A nice nod to Blackpool is in the form of a waltzer converted into a booth. Service was quick and efficient using the app, with kids well catered for and food prepared and presented as well as could be expected. Indeed, we all rather enjoyed our meals.

Bloom Bar, formerly known as the Carousel Bar, underwent a stylish transformation in 2020 and now offers a sophisticated ambiance at the end of North Pier. With ample seating and a picturesque backdrop of the tower and promenade, it's an ideal spot for pre-show drinks or a romantic evening with stunning sea views. The bar provides a tranquil and comfortable setting with a variety of beverages and bar snacks available.
What a lovely refitted bar on Blackpool North Pier. The decor here is very Instagramable. Lovely plush carpets and new furniture. Also an outside area with some covered and uncovered wind sheltering.
Leon B — Google review
Good service at the bar and very comfortable sitting area. Good value. Lovely views. Its a shame that some customers do not tidy up after their own kids and feel that its ok to leave a mess.
Jolita K — Google review
I love this bar! You can sit at the end in the sunshine watching the sea as if your at sea! Staff are lovely and extremely helpful. Been in October and sitting in full sunshine with my cost and hat off!
Elaine C — Google review
Never usually go on the North Pier as we usually deem it too far out, but this time we ended up near there and thought we'd give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by Bloom bar at the end of the pier. Usually pier bars aren't much to look at, but this was totally different. I'd recommend anyone to give it a try, you might just enjoy it. We went on an afternoon so can't vouch for what it's like on an evening.

Great bar with entertainment right out on the pier. Decent variety of drink options and had free entertainment on when we visited. We had a great time here and would visit again if in Blackpool.

Great bar right out on the bottom of the pier. Strawberry daiquiris are amazing. Nice sunny day with the sea wind blocked so you get a nice relaxing drink without getting windswept.

Enjoyed the atmosphere in this small outside bar.. the live acts were entertaining as were the other patrons .. the area was clean and tidy. Access for disabled was adequate. There are sheltered areas in case the sun or rain come out..

Located in the heart of the old town, The Saddle Inn is a small but mighty pub that's renowned for its great selection of beers, hearty meals and friendly atmosphere. With a beer garden to boot, this is one spot you don't want to miss when looking for a break from the bustle of Promenade life.
I've walked and ridden past this traditional whitewashed pub many times over the years, but this was the first time I've actually visited! Popped in here for lunch on my way to Stanley Park, and I was certainly not disappointed. It's a friendly local with a 250 year history (there's a blue plaque next to the entrance). Nice beer garden, and free parking round the back. Dog friendly. The two cosy little lounges are traditionally furnished, with comfy leather banquettes and large TV screens showing sports. The two girls behind the bar were both polite and friendly. And I was spoilt for choice when it came to the food! The large menu offered a great mix of classic pub favourites, curries, sharing plates, vegetarian and vegan, and there was a separate children's menu. Good meal deals, some with a free drink included. Ordered a lasagne in red wine and tomato ragu, with garlic bread and salad in a tangy dressing. The lasagne was hot, filling, well prepared and tasty. Treated myself to a honeycomb cheesecake with ice-cream and chocolate sauce for afters, and it was delicious! The wine and cappuccino were good too! Service was both quick and friendly, and prices were very reasonable. Would happily come here again.

I popped in here with my daughter today, on our way to Blackpool amusements. It's the perfect place to grab some decent food before you hit the overpriced stuff you get on the promenade. The place was really nice, plenty of parking space and a lovely outdoor area. The staff are super friendly and pleasant and the food was really good. I've been to many a pub that had far higher prices and didn't serve anything anywhere near as good, it was excellent food and excellent value. Also great to find somewhere that knows how long to cook garden peas, these were perfect. I know it's just a small thing but I hate an over cooked pea. We will definitely visit again when we're in this neck of the woods, would absolutely recommend it.

Everything was perfect. A nice old pub, comfortable and welcoming. The food was excellent and great value too. Did a online search for pubs in Blackpool with good food, and ended up here thanks to all the good comments about the Saddle. I can happily add to those good comments. Enjoyable visit.

The food was pretty good, and the place itself is nice. It's got a bit of a rough vibe, though. Lots of dogs running around, which is interesting. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but worth checking out. Could be a hidden gem.

Here I am on my 3rd pint of Bass bitter. The first pint I ever had 65 years ago (aged 15) was Bass. You don't see it in many places nowadays, especially up north. Although it's no longer brewed by Bass, it's just as good. Lovely pub, good service. What's not to like? Wetherspoon prices, - well on a Tuesday anyway.
Derek C — Google review
Well... It was busy for 3 pm on a Monday, with one narrow room set for dining on this occasion, it looked as though it was possible to eat outside in the 'beer garden or paved outside area with 'cabins' sandwiched between their carpark and the main road. The Interior is faded grandeur with dust under the bench seating, chipped varnish on the chairs, and dirty fingerprints on the door areas, yuck! Food can be ordered via an app. Our 'sub' sandwiches looked as though the bread was under-baked, part-baked rolls that hadn't seen the rest of the baking. I had the fish finger sub - 4 deep fried and tasteless skinny fish fingers as well as tasteless tartare sauce and a sprinkle of iceberg lettuce. My other half had the cob sub, not much better. The saving grace was the crispy chips. Would we go again? Nope

No. 10 Ale House and Thai Kitchen, located in Blackpool, is a micro bar that opened in July 2018. It prides itself on offering a wide range of real ales, lagers, ciders, wines, gins, and spirits at affordable prices. The pub also boasts a friendly atmosphere and excellent service. In addition to its extensive drink selection, No. 10 serves delicious Thai food.
Always a favourite spot for me and my partner. The bar staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming. It may be one of the smaller pubs, but it really does pack a big punch with aesthetic and quality. Great selection of beverages and always perfectly poured. It is an ideal place to chill in the sun and a definite stop for the incredible Thai food on offer, you will become hooked on their flavours and delightful service. Definitely worth a visit, because you'll be back.

The food here is fantastic proper aromatic and dead tasty the seating arrangement tho it tight if you have broad shoulders and your siting on those long tables you'll be like a sardine lovely little place tho, table service would be nice my only gripe was the fact my food was forgotten and didn't come out till I asked were it was rest of the group had almost finished there's then the waitress knocked a glass of over on the table all over me she did apologize and it was replaced 👍👍

Food court
Abingdon Street Market, located in Blackpool, has recently undergone a revitalization to become the heart of the community once again. The market now features a food hall with six unique street food vendors, two bars, and a coffee house. This transformation aims to put Blackpool on the map as more than just a nightlife destination. The market also offers an open-plan seating area and retail stalls for visitors to enjoy.
A great atmosphere and fab use of the market space. This is a great example of a council re purposing the market space whilst still having a traditional market on site. Great food and no hassle. Order by app at the table. See the QR code next to the table number. Word of warning this place gets busy and depending on who you order from there is a long wait on food on Friday / Saturday nights. Best getting in early.

A Great Spot for Food, Drinks & Atmosphere in Blackpool! Abingdon Street Market is an absolute must-visit if you're in Blackpool! The place has a fantastic vibe from the moment you walk in — modern, relaxed, and full of character. The music adds to the atmosphere perfectly without being overpowering, making it a great spot to chill with friends or enjoy a solo bite. What really stands out is the variety of food dishes available. There’s truly something for everyone — from freshly made burgers and artisan pizzas to Asian street food, loaded fries, tacos, and more. Every stall offers something unique, and the quality across the board is excellent. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the flavours and presentation. The bar service is equally impressive — friendly staff, a great choice of drinks (including craft beers and cocktails), and quick service even during busier times. Whether you're popping in for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or just a drink or two, Abingdon Street Market has you covered. Highly recommend visiting — it’s a brilliant addition to Blackpool’s food and drink scene!

Came here for first time today and was absolutely delighted 😁 really great place, great atmosphere, and great food! Just what Blackpool needs to keep up! We had food at Neighborhood Subs which was delicious. Dining areas tables were really clean, great that they had high chairs to use. Music was at right level were you could talk and chill, and not have to shout over each other. Staff were very friendly. We loved the little photobooth! And it's great that it let's download the pictures so easier to post on social media. The artwork around the building was so cool! Toilets also very clean. We will 100% be back! Don't understand any negative reviews, we had a brilliant time.

We came here for dinner the atmosphere is brilliant there was dj on, there's multiple food vendors to choose from and a bar. It was great for us a as a family because the kids don't always want the same thing as us so having the different choices made dinner time a lot easier. I would definitely be returning on the future and would recommend any body to try it. The food was very nice with no complaints, reasonably priced and all the staff are very polite and helpful.

I love it here. The food has certainly gotten a little more pricey in recent times though. There is a choice of Japanese, Burgers, Pizzas, Mexican and more as well as a couple of bars. Order your food & it's brought to you. You can mix and match. There's a delightful market with some lovely quirky shops selling vintage clothes & jewellery & cards and the like. I always like to visit when I am in Blackpool. I love it ❤️

Came for a swift pint , they had actual Budvar on draught. Superb stuff. stayed all night. Real good old fashioned sense of culture in a pub, something these big Wetherspoons etc lack. Land lady was fantastic, beer was well priced loads to choose from. Made some new friends and a lad was playing the acoustic guitar all night. Can’t wait to come back in summer, well worth the walk from Blackpool North Station. Favourite bar in Blackpool 🍺 Cheers !

Ma Kelly’s is an excellent night out with friends! Check to make sure they have acts on and book your table in advance to ensure you get a seat. The acts are ok and really make the night fly. Great bar staff and cold drinks. A great addition to a normal boring night out in the north shore when the night falls. Had a fantastic night at this wonderful venue. Loved the table service and drinks were reasonably priced Free admission. Our host was Ryan Oliver a very talented young man who was very likeable. A brilliant comedian and extremely talented singer. We had our best night out in Blackpool here.
Helen M — Google review
Last night, we were delighted to attend 'Ma Kelly's Showboat' after seeing a post on social media earlier in the week, we gave them a call and reserved our free table, and then we looked forward to the show. We boarded the Tram from the centre of Blackpool (Tower station, in fact), and we got off at Cabin, which is located directly opposite 'Ma Kelly's Showboat', which made the start to the night perfect. I know that Ma Kelly's has a stigma attached to it across Blackpool, and from previous visitors, so I was slightly reserved going in, but I needn't be.. As we entered, we were greeted by the 'Showboat Showgirls', and a cheerful host, who directed us to our table, and asked if we'd been before, and explained the process (they still have table service 🎉, tap your lamp and make it red, and someone will serve you, winner!). Show started at 7.45pm (bang on, great management skills from the director), and I've got to say the show was incredible. First half ran for about an hour and 20 minutes, with a short interval, and they were back out. Show finished about 10.30pm, and then a disco. I found the show had a great mixture for all - as some cabaret shows you see are all very much one genre, and cater for one age bracket, but this was a huge mixture, and incredibly easy to watch. I felt that the show was easily worth £5 - £10 per person, as the standard of the acts, Andrew Geater, Helen O'Neill, and Reece Oliver were a high theatre standard. I'll definitely be returning, and I urge anyone who wants free entertainment - and the drinks are reasonably priced too. SUPPORT LIVE ENTERTAINMENT! You'd be a fool to miss this free show!!

Opened on 18 October 2024 - 4 cask ales all individually badged for this outlet and reasonably priced. The Derailed Pale Ale brewed by Seven Brothers was fantastic. This is very much work in progress with additional seating and a food offer still to come.

Located in Blackpool, West Coast Rock Cafe has been a local favorite since 1987. This family-run spot offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food, earning it various accolades over the years. The menu features burgers, steaks, ribs, Tex-Mex dishes, pizza, and pasta. Guests can enjoy live music while dining and take advantage of special deals on select days.
Food is spot on and staff are friendly. They have some great deals on throughout the week such as the half price burgers. Tried the pulled pork loaded fries and the bacon burger. Also had the mozzarella sticks and squid bites.

Came here with my partner recently while visiting the area. Staff were lovely and prices were reasonable, however food wasn't great. The fries were delicious but the steak in my philly cheese steak sub was chewy and wasn't seasoned. Considering you are paying more for a steak than a burger I would have expected it to be cooked and seasoned well. Partner had burger which was average.

Staff very friendly, decor and atmosphere is good, it was clean. That already puts it in front of most places in Blackpool. Good selection of beers and other drinks. I've marked the food down as all the starters are deep fried and the mains were just 'okay' - not bad, but had better. If we went again (which we would do), we'd do mains and check out the desserts. I've given this a 5* overall as I see how other places in Blackpool are massively overrated and it would be a travesty to rate it any lower. It has very acceptable food in good surroundings, with good people.

This is a very popular place for all ages, from adults to children, with a nice ambiance and plenty of food and drink variety. The service was fast, and while the portions were huge, I personally felt the food was only average. We requested for a medium rare steak, but 1 end of the steak was medium rare while the other end was rare.

The west coast rock cafe is a great restaurant nestled in the square in Blackpool's Town centre. It has a great American rock theme and you can tell it has live music roots. The menu is themed around American and Mexican food with a huge variety of burgers, fajitas and more. We had the burgers and they were delightfully juicy and tender. The mozzarella sticks were impressively good with a very tasty salsa and that perfect string pull of the cheese. The staff were warm and friendly. We were very impressed overall with the West Coast Rock Cafe
Gavin W — Google review
Staff were great and we had quick service, the prices aren’t bad and the food COULD be very well priced too depending on when you go. The burger I got was alright, it tasted alright but the burger itself looked very cheap almost like you could buy 5 of them for £2 in the heron frozen section, generally though the whole burger all together tasted alright, the baconaise tasted more like perinaise like. Got curly fries too which were class but when aren’t they? You can come on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and get different food half price, so on a Monday for example half price burgers, which would have made this a 4 star review if that’s when I went for pure value for money. The decor of the place is dated and isn’t much more than what you can see in the pic - apart from a few cheap guitars with a similar paint style to what’s on the wall also in the pic

The cafe is great! Located near the Winter Gardens it was ideal for our trip. The staff were really friendly and the food was brilliant. My dad, who is a bit particular about his food, loved it too. We will definitely be back!

We stopped by for a small bite to eat at West Coast Rock Cafe on our short weekend away & was kind of left a little wanting after eating. The service was a little lacklustre, with no acknowledgement from any staff members * when my order arrived it came in bits, as in meal first, then bread & butter a minute later. Meal was hot & fresh but not well presented and I kind of hot the vibe that their forte is rock nights & heavy nights out as opposed to being a cafe/restaurant. Customer service would definitely be polished up a little. Not bad.

Great pub/restaurant in a fab location! Staff are very friendly and polite. Everywhere was very clean and the food was lovely. We had the sunday dinner and refillable drinks. Can't wait to come back

Excellent service and has to be the best chicken and rib combo in the area, house salad was also very nice. Been here multiple times and definitely will be returning.

Got tempted by a 50%off voucher and opted for the ultimate Sunday dinner £18.79 and paid extra for cauliflower cheese!! Don’t be fooled by the online pictures this is what we were served, shocking, school dinner at best!! Frozen veg, all of it including roasties… a sliver of each meat school dinner at best.
Woodsie W — Google review
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is really average, pre bought pies and burgers heated up, and there must be chip shortage as we got about 10 each!! The poor quality of food just doesn’t justify the higher prices.
Matthew H — Google review
We go here regularly as the breakfast is such brilliant value. The food is great, plenty of choice always hot and fresh and the staff work so hard to keep things topped up. Special note has to go to Molly, she never stops but always has a smile on her face and always makes us feel so welcome. She also gave my nephew chocolates on his birthday which had him grinning from ear to ear. We will definitely be back.

Had a Breakfast here with my family. We used to enjoy on a regular basis a number of years ago when the children were younger as it was excellent value for money. The offering is similar although my children are adults now. The food options are good and well varied and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a solids good breakfast with lots of regularly replenished choices and well worth a visit

We are staying at the inn next door so this is our go to place in the bad weather. It’s been 6 years since we were last here & it’s gone down hill drastically. The outside is worn & unkempt & entering the inside, it’s dull & dismal. The carpet hasn’t had a clean in forever & there’s an awful smell inside. The tables are sticky & could do with a good surface disinfectant. The food is cheap & you get what you pay for. It was busy the night we went in as the weather was atrocious. The waitress was knowledgeable but looked bored to be there. Unfortunately the main we ordered which was the mixed grill was poor. The steak not being what was asked for & the sausage was more maize than meat. The fish was cooked nice but swimming in oil of some sort. We had a dessert & one was free due to the poor steak. We went in the following day & the aroma is still the same. What I wanted wasn’t available. How can you not have soup when it’s on the menu. It really needs some money spending on it all over. It’s in a nice location with transport 5 mins away but for us, it’s turned into a cheap food place & not a healthy good quality place. Unfortunately it will be the last time we visit here. Long story short, if you want quality, this isn’t the place to visit.
Anna T — Google review
Food is not bad, quite expensive for what you get, mix grill is £18.. small chicken and steak....£2 for a small peppercorn sauce is abit ridiculous but was nice. Guinness is very nice too. 3.5 out of 5.

Tavern at the Mill is a charming spot located in Marsh Mill Village, Thornton-Cleveleys. It offers a variety of delicious vegetarian-friendly meals, sweet treats, and simple snacks. The tavern also provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors with dietary requirements, including options for those with neurodiverse needs. Additionally, it boasts a dog-friendly environment and even has a private function area available. Guests have praised the attentive staff and the delectable Sunday roast served at this cozy establishment.
Visited the Tavern earlier this week, one of Joseph Holt's pubs situated in the picturesque craft village of Marsh Mill in Thornton-Cleveleys and sampled their recently launched Spring menu. We tried the following: 》The Ultimate Burger | Classic Beef burger, crispy buttermilk chicken fillet and slow cooked beef brisket topped with mature Cheddar, BBQ sauce and beer battered onion rings 》Joseph Holt's Trailblazer braised Featherblade Steak and Melting Onions with olive oil crushed new potatoes, garlic buttered spinach and green beans 》Hot Honey Chicken | Battered chicken breast chunks in a sticky spiced honey glaze 》Garlic and Stilton Mushrooms | Button mushrooms in a creamy garlic and stilton sauce paired with a garlic-herb ciabatta 》The Lakes' Sticky Toffee Pudding served with custard 》Joseph Holt's Trailblazer Stout & Chardonnay Thoroughly enjoyed everything that we had from the moreish hot honey chicken & creamy mushroom starters to the perfectly cooked tender featherblade steak, flavourful (massive) burger and scrumptious sticky toffee pudding. Looking for a place to unwind with your significant other or mates while enjoying a fab selection of hearty food, homemade desserts, cakes, beers, ales and a carvery available seven days a week? Tavern at the Mill's got you sorted.

Good portion of meat. Home made yorkshires. Would have liked veg to be less soggy but that is personal preference. Staff very friendly and ice cream looked delicious loads of favourite flavours. Can take dogs into bar area and order food if you wanted. Dog bowls also provided. All round lovely pub.

We have been here 20+ times without a problem, and the poached eggs are always runny, this time they was well overcooked and hard so we asked for some more eggs and the picture below was the eggs we were served, makes me ill looking at it, it was as if they had thought because we had complained they would have a laugh and undercook them, the servers were polite though
Callum J — Google review
Had carvery today, haven't been since it's refurb a while ago. Turkey and beef excellent. Brussel sprouts - were a test on the teeth, they were so hard to cut. Roast potatoes were just about cooked and very anaemic. Yorkshire pudding was really soggy with a lot of grease sitting in the bottom. On the whole, disappointed. Mentioned the above to a young member of staff who seemed to think there had been a few complaints especially about the sprouts. Sadly, will not be visiting again

We’ve just come from playing football golf and we thought we’d treat the kids to something to eat We asked for a table of six and the first response was how long are you going to be? Rude straight from the office as long as you’re gone by half so me and my partner decided no, we’ll go eat somewhere else Very rude and the atmosphere was off straight away And then an old couple walked through the door and he was all hairs and graces We would’ve ended up spending a fortune, but you’ve lost that on custom so hospitality one star I wish I could give less

Went for a carvery here. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Plenty of meat and the vegetables selection was great. Everything tasted fresh and tasty. I had to go back for seconds for more Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese as they were delicious. I can't wait to go back for my next one.

The service was superb! Absolutely lovely staff and a great play place for the kiddos to roam so us parents could enjoy our meal. The lovely lady who served us today was so friendly and helpful, chatty and great with our daughter. The food was as you'd expect; cheap & cheerful, no fuss and we left with full tummies. We would absolutely recommend for young families.

We were greeted at the door when we entered this establishment. On first impressions was extremely clean and welcoming. The bar maid was extremely friendly and very welcoming. Ordered our food on the 2 for £11.49 menu since this was a cheaper menu I was expecting smaller portions. However I was rather surprised when I got a full portion. The food was lovely and well worth a visit!!
Beverley R — Google review
We were staying at The Premier Inn next door and decided to pop across to Brewers Fayre for dinner! We were greeted almost instantly in a near buzzing atmosphere by a lovely chap who got us seated instantly and was cautious to ask about dietary requirements. Forgetting the staff being hospitable and friendly just a second, the staff went above and beyond to cater for the missus and 3 year olds dietary requirements including restriction of dairy, soy and coconut! Not only did the waiting staff supply an allergen overview of each dish but also ensured from ordering, to the kitchen and even the cutlery that every step was taken to ensure their safety! Amazing! The food itself was well cooked, flavoursome and hearty. Yes, it’s pub grub so it is never going to be fine dining but you pay for what you get. Cocktails are 2-4-1 all day every day which was exercised to say the least. Blue lagoon the favourite for me. The interior was starting to feel a touch dated, but the great staff, amazing service and nice food made up for it big time!

Upon arrival we were left stood waiting at the entrance for 5 minutes although there were 2 members of staff within vicinity. We had booked the Meal Deal through our stay at the Premier Inn, however what this included was not explained to us until we asked. We were told it includes a drink so I ordered a J2O Spritz, although I always go for an Apple & Raspberry this was unfortunately not on the menu. A few minutes after I had started drinking the waitress came over and told me the Spritz was NOT included in the deal but the Apple n Raspberry was. I double checked the menu and still couldn’t see the A & R! This annoyed me as I would have ordered that if it had been and now I was being told I had to pay for my Spritz! I ordered the Giant Yorkshire with gravy but really there was no gravy to be seen and it was certainly not worth 10£. My mate ordered the mozzarella chicken, which he said was very dry. The Apple Betty looked an absolute state on the plate and was also very dry, meagre and flavourless, and drowned in custard! My sticky toffee pudding was lovely but looked like it came out a tin. Over-priced and under-whelming. Update after breakfast: still well over-priced but at least the service was better.

Called in here over the Easter weekend. we had food and a couple of beers as we made our way into town . Service was great friendly staff and even though busy it wasn't too long of a wait for food . Food was well presented and was good, no complaints, great selection on offer, and reasonable price for on the prom . We called again on Easter Sunday it was extremely busy, but the service was very good with loads of staff, so no waiting or 10 deep at the bar .
Alan A — Google review
The Dutton Arms lies on the South Shore in close proximity to the south pier. It is on the main road and features a front beer garden consisting of picnic style tables, sited on artificial grass, shielded from the pavement with clear glass partitions. This area could be made a lot more attractive as it lets the first impression of the pub down from street view. A shame due to inside being good. The bar and eating areas are very spacious. Split into semi-open areas, with TV's showing sport. Food is available and offers on certain meals make this an attractive alternative to others in the near vicinity. Menus are simple and easy to understand, staff did know what was available and did give you the best options. Saying this, during busier times, it was a chore to get served. The bar and eating areas (no eating outside due to sea gulls) are clean and tidy. The toilets are either downstairs for ladies or upstairs for gents (over a dozen stairs). These are clean, well maintained, modern and to a good standard. Bar prices are what you'd expect for a bar on a seafront. On the whole, a great alternative to other run down pubs or 'chain' bars and worth a visit for a family meal.

Walked past here while eating our fish and chips and thought a pint would go well with this. Popped in for some drinks, sat outside out of the way drinking them, then got told we couldn’t eat our food there. We weren’t hurting anyone, we were spending money in the pub. So we drank up and left. We would probably of been drinking there all Afternoon if they had of left us, there loss. Seemed a good place too.

Myself, husband and inlaws had a meal in you restaurant. The prices were good but the food was not very good. My husband had a mixed grill the steak was so tough he couldn't chew it. The chicken was over cooked and very tough it was stringy and hard to chew and even harder to swallow. I had the Hunter chicken. The chicken was the size of an egg, a little bit of bacon, hardly any cheese and little BBQ sauce. The chicken was really tough that I had trouble cutting it. It was very chewy and hard to swallow. The potions were very small. My sister in law had lasagna, the dish was small and round and only about an inch deep with hardly any meat. My brother in law had pizza, he said it was ok but the crust was hard and burnt. We will not be eating there ever again.
Toni D — Google review
Absolutely disgusting, dogs allowed in to food service area, allowed to sit on material seats. One dog in particular had its face all over the table, it licked the container sauces were in. Owner allowed it to drink out of her glass of Guinness. After the dog and owners had departed I eventually had to say to a staff member about the situation expecting some disinfection to take place, table was given a quick spray and wiped over with a small cloth that was used to then wipe over other tables. We thought about ordering lunch however after 2 drinks and watching a football match we left. Nothing would entice me to eat in this establishment, absolutely disgusting.

Situated just minutes away from attractions such as the Winter Gardens and The Grand Theatre, it serves as a convenient meeting place with decent prices.
Popular noisy pub from which, the owners, apparently, are relocating soon. Food available but, personally haven't tried so can't comment. A couple of locally brewed ales. Pricey.

My experience was dire. We visited on the Monday 11th August. I was at the bar and I enquired with the bar man as to what type of beer the choice was. His reply "I have no idea, I don't drink and I don't want to die". I was dumbfounded at this response, so I then asked the woman behind the bar who was putting glasses or bottles away. He stood there looking at me not interested. The woman very politely told me it was a pale ale. When the barman was pumping the beer, another customer who was a lady, politely asked him what lagers they had, he gave her the same reply as he gave me, which was in no way, shape or form done jokingly. I took my beer, sat outside, got chatting to a local who goes in there regularly and he said "unfortunately they think you are passing trade and just want you to drink up and go". I have been a member of the Campaign for Real Ales (camra) for 10 years and will bringing this matter up at the next Camra meeting held in Bolton and firmly suggesting they do not attend this venue when looking for admissions for the Beer Guide. Good manners and politeness cost nothing for ALL customers

I have been coming to Blackpool and this pub for years and it hasn't changed a bit. This would normally be a good thing, but the place is a little tired looking and could do with some new furniture and maybe a wee lick of paint, especially in the toilets. The bar itself is spacious and they have a good choice of alcohol and juices on offer. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The outside area is great, especially on a hot day, maybe have a wee look in next time your passing by.

Came here for tea last night after a day in Blackpool taking in the front.A stones throw away from Blackpool North Train Station we soon entered and ordered lasagne, fish & chips gammon and chips, and sirloin steak and chips.Food came out piping hot and well presented and the steak was cooked to perfection. They sell a wide range of lagers such as peroni and madri and an ale called Cunning Stunt which is made by a local Brewery called Fuzzy Duck based in Poulton which is very nice indeed

Used to love coming to the Washington for a few pints and some food and never complained, but came in today and ordered some chips with my food and I was disappointed on the potion of chips that I got! A small bowl of chips and service wasn't the best either! Staff used to come and give you knives and forks and gave you the sauces and say everything ok and now they just give you the food and forks and it wasn't even busy when we were in , don't think I would be back again, Sorry just being honest and hopefully they sort it out

Wat can I say. Absolutely brilliant place. Ok we were at punk weekend and the place was buzzing. The staff were second to none they never stopped for 4 days... I'm sure the land lord and the rest must have slept for days after. I would recommend this pub to anyone

Everytime we come to Blackpool, we love coming to the Washington for our food. We won't eat anywhere else. The bar staff are friendly and approachable, any issues, they sort it straight away. The atmosphere here is great. Highly recommended 🙂 Updated Review: I hold my yearly Rebellion Fringe Fest at the Washington as it's a great live music venue. This year it was so much more busier and absolutely rammed, no matter how busy it was, every single day with all of us punks and skins, the staff continued to do an excellent job keeping all in drinks and food. They were amazing, kept smiling, joined in with singing and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Stuart, who runs the Washington is an excellent manager and runs the Washington smoothly and very efficiently. He was constantly on the go, helpful and just brilliant to work with. I love coming to the Washington and holding my punk fest there. The food is lovely too and very affordable. Thank you to Stuart and his amazing team for working so hard!! ☺️

Very busy centrally located pub. Ordered food at the bar 2 main meals for £10.99 food was pub grub but good quality for the money spent we ate here both nights of our stay, not many places you can get 4 meals for under £25 drinks were also reasonably priced. All in all a good place to go.

Had a brilliant evening in the pub. The staff were really friendly, the food was delicious, the cocktails were divine. The prices were so cheap compared to other bars we have been to and the atmosphere was relaxed. No loud music so you could hear yourself think and talk. They also have a pool table and a darts board. Would highly recommend.

The Duke of York, a local pub nestled in Blackpool's North Shore neighborhood, exudes a laid-back vibe and offers an inviting patio where patrons can enjoy mouthwatering burgers, succulent steaks, and flavorful curries. With its assortment of game nights and karaoke sessions, this alehouse provides ample entertainment options for guests to revel in.
We arrived at The Duke in Blackpool this morning feeling very hungover, and Adam behind the bar instantly made us feel so welcome. He was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful – freshly cooked and just what we needed! I was told the lovely lady’s name who made it but sadly can’t remember, though she deserves the credit too. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food were all amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the day. We’ll definitely be returning!

Annual weekend in Blackpool, served last, before all of the locals all 3 days we went in. Went for Sunday lunch, due to allergies we went in at 14:00 to ask questions. Went back in at 18:00 to be told that only Sunday lunch could be ordered by the bar staff, this was not mentioned 4 hours previously. Barman went to ask the chef, due to how close our table was to the kitchen we heard, cannot order anything else off the menu, not a chance. No exceptions, not my problem. Well considering we are a party of 7 and would have dropped over £100 tonight, it’s not my problem you lost out to that either. Disgusting service all weekend. Allergies are not something that is in anyone’s control, completely disrespectful. I hope you get an allergy one day and get treated the same way. Update. It’s nice to see that after my husbands review, they have actually replied, shame they didn’t listen. My allergy is to dairy, not eggs. Last I checked, lactose isn’t in eggs. Thanks for listening, proves everything I had to say above

That was our second time back in here just because we thought the food was nice first time and it did not disappoint us this time. Sunday roast was amazing. Everything was fresh and it tasted great. Wish I could say the same thing about the service too. Very disappointing service and we won’t be coming back.
Shoun T — Google review
Visited here on our annual weekend getaway to be greeted by the most disgusting service imaginable. From the very start of the weekend the staff were not interested in serving us only wanting to speak to the locals. On finally being served we were greeted by the angriest gnome on God's green earth slamming change into our hands and spilling drinks over the bar when handing them over. The second visit here was only for a quick drink after a day in the town to be met with the same service (is now normal?). On our final visit my daughter in law asked about allergens and decided a jacket potato would suit her requirements. She was then told allergens are not our problem we are only serving Sunday lunch. I cannot understate how offended we have been by this experience and would recommend anyone visiting is wary they do not suffer our horror.

Lovely quiet Monday morning. To have breakfast, for your journey home. Busy at weekends, loads of entertainment every evening. Staff are friendly. Always clean and tidy. You can have meals anytime of the day. It is on the north side of Blackpool. Not far away from hotels in the area. Some of the hotels advise you to use this pub if the hotel you stay in doesn't do breakfast.

We ate here a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very quiet, being late afternoon, midweek. The staff were super friendly and the food! WoW, it was absolutely amazing. So much so that I have recreated what we had, at home, twice. We are going back again tomorrow, for my birthday. Well have cocktails too. And maybe a few tequila shots. Yum yum. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Wow! What a find in Blackpool. I don’t want to be too harsh on Blackpool, but I wasn’t expecting much , mainly because of previous visits a long time ago and what the place is most famous for. However, I’m really pleased to see there are now some great independent places to eat and drink. Common being a great choice I was genuinely surprised , the quality here is top-notch. The Mexican food is definitely better than some very well-known spots in Manchester. Everything’s made fresh, the menu has plenty of options, and the price is excellent. The food was so good that I’d actually go back to Blackpool just to try more dishes from this place. As a bonus, we also found some great spots nearby: a really good wine bar and a large food hall-style venue that also does drinks , all before heading to a concert at Blackpool Tower. I’ll definitely return to Blackpool again. Big credit to the independents who are putting effort into creating a proper food and drink scene — and well done to the team here, the food was fantastic

Decent Irish Bar up near the Blackpool Tower. Popped in for a pint on our pub crawl. Decent Irish atmosphere with the music, decoration, and wooden style booths and tables. Service friendly enough. Decent enough pint of Guinness at £4.90 (if I remember correctly) pour was tidy and tasted great. Even got a 4-leaf clover in the head. I have seem better on other reviews, but I only had the one, so it would be unfair to pass full judgement. Pints of Madri at £4.70 was also decent. Would recommend swinging by.

Known for its friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable experience, The Devonshire Arms has become a beloved spot for family gatherings and celebrations.
Was my first time there today and I like it because there are different rooms you can choose to eat or drink. My husband and I wanted a more quiet room to relax and glad there was one there but other rooms can be busy but it's all good as you have a choice. We got burgers and chips and it was nice and the price is right. I definitely recommend this place to chill around the area.

Staff were lovely. Food was shockingly bad. Ordered a mixed grill and could've smashed windows with it, aswell as teeth. Burnt, dry and rock hard.

We often visit for family gatherings and birthdays. It's our place of choice because it has that cozy feel about it. The decor and upkeep is good. Highlight has to be the staff -they are lovely, really go out of their way to make sure you have a great time for the duration of your stay. They are very attentive - we forgot birthday candles for our cake last time by accident and they were kind enough to provide some for us to use (without asking I might add), so really thank you very much for that! Drinks are very reasonably priced, food definitely is. Portion sizes good. The menu changes often enough that there's something new to try. Never had an issue with the speed of service at the bar , even during busy times. Even with food during peak ordering times if there is a longer wait time that they have been open and honest about it to warn us ahead of ordering. Clean facilities, everything works. Nice and cosy and different seating areas including outdoor depending on what you're looking for. Honestly we really enjoy coming and probably will for years to come. Highly recommend.

First time here for A meal with my partner, as adviced by our children to give it A try. (Even though we actually live the other side of Blackpool. However is worth the taxi fare). We very much enjoyed our meals, especially my husband. As he is A fussy eater. More so, when it comes to his steaks. We could not fault any of our food and was absolutely delicious. Also the service was excellent, decor and the atmosphere was very good and cleanliness of the toilets was superb. Very impressed that much, we have now decided this is the place for my partners Birthday family meal. And hope they enjoy it as much as we did. Only A week away, and are Looking forward.

We visit regularly and never had any issues with food or how long it takes. We understand when its busy, the wait times will be a bit longer. Danielle is an amazing server and always tends to our every need - even bringing over activities and games for the kids. Would recommend to anyone!

After previously enjoying a nice meal here something has clearly changed...firstly after ordering via the app we had to chase the drinks we ordered as after almost 20 minutes they hadn't been brought to us...Good news though the food order was being processed by the kitchen...bad news that when the food turned up it was obvious the 'chef' couldn't cook a steak to our preferred choice ,chips were dry n hard, and the rest of the meat on the mixed grill looked like it was a few leftovers from previously served meals...Strange that at no time were we asked if we were enjoying our meal??

Came to this bar tonight. I was refused a drink because I didn't have I.D. I'm 33 years of age. Having eye wrinkles is normally a giveaway for me, I don't regularly encounter this situation but... I was denied 🤷 I showed the bartender a photo of my passport which made zero difference because she could already clearly see I wasn't 17 or younger, any validation to prove this wouldn't have mattered. The staff, today in this incident, and in my opinion, just wanted to be awkward or feel a sense of power. We went further up the road towards the station after this encounter and ended up having a brilliant night in a more friendly, fun and welcoming bar. Blessing in disguise.

Nice place with some great music but the problem is they blast the music too loud for their speakers to handle and it just ruins the music imo. They should either invest in a better sound system or turn the volume down a tad.

Was in town with 6 other friends for our friends Stag. It was one of the stops on our pub crawl but we stayed here for the night. It was busy but the service was good. The security team on duty are one the best I've come across (I work in the security industry). All were both professional and very personable with great banter. We were to come back the next day to watch the England v Ukraine quarter finals and enjoy another night there but I think the group was spent from the night before. But I would definitely go back if I'm back in Blackpool. Good prices, great atmosphere, right kind of music (upstairs.. we stayed upstairs) and great staff.

Dj was good sat night - toilets are not maintained and absulutly disgusting - few lads popping pills in front of bar one of those falling all over place knocking peoples drinks over - he was not fit to be in the place -and should of been removed before wasting our drinks onto floor - apart from that the music was good .

Entertainment is good, prices are average for Blackpool but service not so great. Was ok until one staff member joined another at around 12:40pm/1pm, by 1:45pm this particular lady was on her phone all the time messaging etc and not seeing the waiting customers at the bar, the other staff member that was still working from previously was rushing around serving customers and washing glasses etc on her own.

Amazing value! Food was so good! Been here a few times and will always come back when visiting blackpool.

ordered food for 3 adults 3 kids absolute waste. food arrivved cold and burnt.frozen mash not hard to get right returned too warm for a child. no cutlery served.supposedly steak and ale pie solid burnt and no filling. staff seemed overwhelmed. visited lots of previous times as use most green king pubs in blackpool.always enjoyed but seems to have gone downhill rapidly.

Well. We booked a table for 4 plus a highchair and when we arrived we had been reserved a great table. We ordered drinks using the app and when Connor served our drinks he made us aware that there was around a 45 minute wait for food. I always believe that good thing comes to those who wait. Well we waited for the food and when it came it was great. Huge portion sizes and piping hot. Connor kept us informed all through the wait and was a very kind and tentative server.

Their "specials" for the day were of great value, which is always welcome when you are travelling. Very large seating area, along with a smaller outdoor area right on the beach road corner. IF looking for a place to get a bite you may wish to consider giving it a try. - SPA007

Ate here twice in the daytime when staying in Blackpool recently. Cannot fault the food and the deals available (kids/seniors etc) made it very reasonably priced. It was empty which is what we wanted - saw how busy it got with stag/hen dos over the weekend so very happy that it was empty and perfect for me and 2 kids through the day (Tues/Weds of school hols) Staff really friendly and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant experience first time in Blackpool and found service below par untill I found the counting house staff are polite and friendly and really go above and beyond even getting water for the dogs when we arrived. Food was brilliant and reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend and definitely will be back every time we are in Blackpool! 9.8/10

Went in on Thursday early afternoon, really bad weather so everywhere was quiet. Ordered steak, partner had a chicken platter. Both were absolutely amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly, said 8oz but was definitely double that size lol. Could barely finish it. Chicken platter was huge. Perfectly cooked. All in paid 40 quid for a steak dinner, chicken platter, a large cocktail pitcher and a great bottle of prosecco.

Hogarths, located on Clifton Street in Blackpool, is a grand Victorian gin palace known for its vast array of over 120 different brands of gin. The historic building, once a bank, exudes a bygone vibe and offers mixology classes along with an extensive gin list. This genteel watering hole also features live sports on TV and hosts entertaining events like karaoke nights.
Didn't have any food but the decor & service is top notch, competitive prices with lovely surroundings, will definitely be back 👍.

Large pub come gin house located in historic building close to the North Pier. Drinks prices are very reasonable but the only downside is there appears to be only a single toilet cubicle for the whole premises. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just in to watch rugby on tv at opening time 11am on a Saturday. Nice big bar with plenty 📺
Nasuk H — Google review
Nice clean modern pub, reasonable prices, only criticism would be that music was a little too loud in the late afternoon. Bar staff quick, friendly and pleasant.
Mick M — Google review
I always think this place is going to be classier than it actually is. If only the service and atmosphere was as impressive as the decor & architecture. The barman serving me couldn't have been less interested in working there. Seems to me this is a bog standard Blackpool sports bar dressing itself up as something else. The TV screens..all showing different sports channels..are tacky & completely detract from the splendour of the surroundings.
Richard K — Google review
Great bar with wonderful staff. Biggest gin nenu I have seen and drinks so well presented. Loved the sour sherbet around the glass. Prices very fair. Beautiful looking bar. Lots of dark wood make it very welcoming Sport on all day long

Unable to get into the bar. My wife uses a wheelchair. Hogarths blackpool has a large step. Fortunately they have provided a ramp. Unfortunately on the night we attended there was no one available to put it out for us. Apparently it the guy in the blue jackets job, but he was no where to be found. So no G&T at Hogarths. But no worries plenty of much more friendly and accessible venues in Blackpool

Hotel
The Waterloo Music Bar has gained a strong reputation as a top live music venue in recent years, despite the challenges of the lockdown. Formerly a traditional local pub, it was transformed into an outstanding destination for music enthusiasts. Its popularity stems from its loyal fan base and its ability to attract renowned artists and international acts, thanks to its impressive stage, captivating lighting, and exceptional overall production.
It's a bar and it has live music on. I think I've seen about 15 bands here in the last couple of years. Better than the Co-op or the MEN Arena or whatever its called these days. Support live music! Also, its asking me to rate this as a hotel. You do rooms???
Amanda L — Google review
Venue for gigs is great but not disabled friendly at all. If you can't stand you have to sit at the back with a TV screen to watch the band. But with the crowd and where the disabled toilet it would be impossible to get too if you were in a wheelchair.
Dale H — Google review
My last visit to the Waterloo Music Bar was in November 2024 to see Dutch band Focus. Ian runs the place like a very well oiled machine - the bar staff work methodically and cheerfully; prices are very competitive; the atmosphere is electric and everything is what every small, passionately run music venue should be. Well done to Ian and his hard working team

I visited Lemmys bar on Saturday 06/09/25. There were two bands one who were excellent. The atmosphere is really friendly with an amazing positive vibe. The beer was also really good. The two bands mixed with the crowd and were great. My girlfiend and I will be attending regulary. A great night out.

Went in here to kill time before our meal across the street. Karaoke was on, it was busy. Personally, not a huge fan of the lighting level. No slices of lemon/lime. Would try somewhere else before returning.
Thurso L — Google review
Very likeable community pub on Topping Street with a warm, communicative atmosphere. Predictably, the cask ale selection isn't exactly overwhelming, but the few ones on tap are being kept in good condition. In comparison to many other such establishments around town, this is definitely one of the better ones. I attended on a karaoke night (No, I didn't sing - I don't want to violate the Geneva Conventions), and the mood was very friendly. Had a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Not the most exciting cask ale in the world, but nice enough when kept well.

Wonderful place. We come to Blackpool regularly and this is our favourite bar. Very friendly, always make new friends there. And great offers on drinks. Can't wait for our next visit.

Great place to watch sport. Too many TVs to count. Some cheap pints and others not so cheap. Not enough bar staff.
Mike T — Google review
Nice place, beer prices are a lot more than many in the area but, very poor and slow service. Staff to busy chatting and swearing behind the bar and doing other things instead of serving their customers. Place was very quiet, but took over 10 minutes from arrival at the bar, to being served, and I was the only one waiting to be served. They were that busy, doing nothing, they couldn't even clear the tables of empty glasses. Plenty of competition nearby if they don't need or want customers to feel welcome. Won't bother with this place again.

Recently opened Champs Sports bar, previously Gillespies has undergone an extensive renivation, inside and out. Comfortable & inviting exteriir offers a good range of beers & wunest. Multi t.v. screens show numerous sports, including major premiership football matches. Sports memorabilia is displayed in the lounge. The premises also has a open roof top area. Blackpool Council is in an ongoing dispute with the owners, Ma Kelly's, over the frontage, as the council want it kept as the original 'art deco' design.

Lytham road massive! We visited on the afternoon seasiders Wembley game. The whole of Blackpool was packed. There was plenty of televisions to view the game and we had to share a table which all added to the atmosphere. For non football fans ma Kellys had a music act singing the usual standards. It was great. Prices were above average for this area but worth it.

Rough and ready pub outside the main tourist area. We got there around 8pm and people were already steaming! Drinks prices were decent, no charge to get in and plenty of seating. It was supposed to be karaoke. The barman said it was on and the DJ took my request. Instead of karaoke they had a pro singer on. So were the barman and DJ not aware then? She was very good and I felt bad walking out during her set but that wasn't what we'd gone there for...

The manager of the hotel is very accommodating, he moved us onto a lower floor for my mam who has mobility issues, allowed up to stay in the room well past check out. The rooms are basic but have what you need but don't come expecting the ritz. Might not be glam but there customer service is 👌

I definitely would NOT even give this hoteL even one star. THERE WAS A DEAD MOUSE IN THE ROOM!! I contacted ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT! The smell of the room was just horrendous. The man was so rude and quite aggressive we felt very uncomfortable around him. When I told him about the issues in the room he did nothing about it! It was like he didn't care and he just seemed very angry the hotel is just plain dirty as it is. This is how the toilet was like when we entered the room disgusting. The sink is so close to the toilet. All the rooms are like this. How on earth do you expect guest to fit through the gap. The man tries to take a deposit of guests to not give it back after to pretend they did damage to the property so you don't complain about the hygeine they are con artists. Stay at your own risk.
Tinyy T — Google review
Wouldn't stay again, bed was uncomfortable, TV was unwatchable because the signal kept breaking up, and in every room as well because I heard the other guests complaining about the TV, and noise travelled through the hotel like a microphone, the room was average clean with dust on the wardrobe which got on your clothes. However the shower and taps were hot and the hotel was in a good location close to the town centre and bars and Blackpool tower., and was only £115 for 3 nights, maybe I was expecting to much for the price.

I have stayed here a number of times over the last 9 years on and off stayed in 2 different rooms the beds are very comfortable room 7 is suitable for a family of five my children have adhd and needed space to not be on top of each other x4 kids and it was perfect for us only issue is the window handles need fixing and the bathroom Wasn’t to high clean standards as it should have been but other wise was a beautiful stay and the staff are friendly had our cases taken to our room and asked if we needed anything was a pleasant stay after a few years of not going and returning again thank you
