Reif Estate Winery is a must-visit destination in Niagara, offering outstanding wines crafted from premium grape varieties using innovative techniques and traditional methods passed down over thirteen generations. The winery's commitment to producing predominantly estate bottled wines has resulted in world-class products. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, including wine tastings, tours, and the opportunity to sample their award-winning ice wines.
Look for Ana!!! Super welcoming and knowledgeable. She’s a great guide in explaining the different ice wines they have that have won multiple awards. She even gave a great history of the company and how to make the ice wines. Best place to go for a wine tasting, no need to go anywhere else. The location is very charming.

Had an amazing wine tasting experience! Michael was super friendly and informative - he walked us through the different wines with food pairings. The location is right across from the lake which adds for a nice stroll after. I would highly recommend this winery!!
Montanna B — Google review
We discovered this winery on our last trip up here and had an amazing tasting and experience so we signed up for thier club membership. Since they cant mail to the US they are willing to hold our boxes for us until we can come up and pick them up (at no additional charge). We came up this week to pick up our month subscription boxes and had another lovely tasting, this time on the patio with thier wine slushies as well and thier amazing pulled pork pizza.
Jen C — Google review
Found this cute winery with old barrels at the curb. Thought we'd check it out after the farmstead pointed us this way. Oh my.. the pulled pork pizza was yummy delicious. The flight was amazing. The slushy merlot was great... we both had a great first time thanks
Elle D — Google review
While we were a bit disappointed that the sensory garden was closed for a private event during our first visit, our sommelier Michael made it a great experience. He tailored our tasting to our individual tastes, often making suggestions of wines he thought we would like or were a better option than what we selected. Next time we come to Reif, we'll definitely be making a reservation ahead of time based on how busy it was in the last hour.

This is a beautiful place to visit if you’re interested in learning about winemaking. They offer guided tours that take you through various parts of the property, providing insights into the entire wine production process. Tickets cost around $25 per adult and $15 per child. However, you might be able to find a $5 discount coupon on the Niagara Parks website—it’s worth checking online beforehand. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which adds to the overall positive experience. During the tour, they offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, making it suitable for all visitors. Inside the building, there’s a wide selection of wine bottles available for purchase. I highly recommend this place if you’re curious about how wine is made or simply want to explore a well-organized and informative winery.

It's such a beautiful little spot to visit. The food is incredible! The charcuterie, the chunky Greek salad, the pizza and the guilty burger, even without the bun. Delicious! And not too expensive! The one place untouched by inflation. We booked our wedding here 7 years ago, came back to visit and the prices are the exact same. Such underrated wine! The best wine in Canada. Everyone was impressed with the wine at our wedding, I always give it as gifts and people are floored. This unknown gem! And they've built it up so much! So much more places to sit and eat. Keep up the great work!
Astrid G — Google review
This has long been a favourite winery of mine, with a beautiful location along the parkway and a beautiful tasting room. I always enjoy the tastings because they have a great selection of wines and the service is always professional. But the disappointing part of my visit was my lunch on the patio. I ordered the leek soup, which was very good and the chicken sandwich. I found the sandwich practically un edible. It consisted of a large piece of chicken thigh, which was very fatty and had the skin, served on a cold bun. I would advise anybody who goes there not to order the chicken sandwich. As for me, I will go back to the winery, but that’s the last time I will eat at that restaurant.

Big Head Wines, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, is a newer addition to the region's wineries. Founded by experienced winemaker Andrzej Lipinski, who previously worked with renowned Ontario wineries, the establishment initially operated as an online business before opening its own wine and tasting cellar at Hunter Farms. The name 'Big Head' pays homage to the founder's Polish heritage. This family-run vineyard offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to other well-established spots in the area.
Big Head was recommended to me by another winery on a previous trip, so when we went back to Niagara on the Lake for another wine tour, I had to make sure we stopped at Big Head. It was an incredible experience! The inside of the building is beautiful! Brent was our server and we was spectacular!! He listened to what we were interested in trying and created a wine tasting that was amazing! Everyone in our group was very impressed. We tried different types of wine and grape varietals that we had never had before. The raw wine was a fantastic added bonus! I highly recommend doing a wine tasting at Big Head and we will absolutely be back in the near future!! Thank you for such a great experience!
Kaitlin S — Google review
We came to Big Head two weeks ago for a couple tastings and it was decent. It’s a local winery that feels more corporate and not as personable as some of the smaller wineries around the area. We weren’t able to do the tastings we were hoping for and instead had to resort to other selections. Luckily, one of their staff members, who wasn’t initially serving us, made us feel more welcomed and made the experience a little more personable. Thank you Alicia for sharing your knowledge and for the great hospitality.

It took me a few years to write this review, but it is an excellent product having bought A case in 2021 of the 2017 vintage, it is absolutely incredible to taste today aged beautifully, smooth and velvety with subtle notes of Fruit. I’m not an expert, but I know what’s good and this is good. I hope that the recent vintages come close to what we drank with this 2017 version, the alcohol content was a little bit lower in 2017 around 13.5 now it seems to be rated at 14%. Who knows if it makes a difference just saying that what I had was good.👌👍

Visiting this pleasant distillery was a good find. I was treated with extra wine sampling and walked away with a great bottle of wine. The staff were very helpful with everything. I will visit again when I’m back in the area. Their winery has won many first place awards. Definitely worth another visit.

The most wonderful experience with the absolute favorite wines in the area. Where to start? For reference, we have tasted wines from many areas of the world in the 1,000s and have done 100s of tasting experiences. Few come close to our wonderful time with the owner (Andrzej). We booked his top of the line tasting, and the wines are phenomenal! Imho the rival the most well-known and way more expensive areas of the world. Locally, there is no competition, in my opinion. The wines are so amazing that I'll be blinding my fancy wine drinker friends just tonsee their face when they find out that it is Canadian wine. I'm 100% sure they are going to lose their mind. I talk about quality first as this has always been my biggest focus. Seldomly, I reference anything else when tasting wine. However, this is a win win, the experience matches the quality. Adrezej has a level of passion for what he does that is rarely witnessed. We enjoyed our visit so much that we made a second stop during our 5 day visit to the area, and this just made the whole trip so much more worthy. My strong suggestion is to try as many of his wines as you can. I'll come back soon just to visit this winery. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. Best gift you can give anyone is a beautiful memory. Cheers !!

After visiting a winery that felt like a seminar and another that felt like a self-serve gas station, Big Head was exactly what we were hoping for. Sean and Cadence were the perfect hosts - genuine, engaging, and effortlessly knowledgeable. They gave us just enough insight to appreciate each pour without overwhelming the experience. It felt personal, relaxed, and refreshingly human. The wines were fantastic, but it was the atmosphere they created that made it unforgettable. This is how wine tasting should feel. We’ll be back, and bringing friends.
S G — Google review
Big Head is one of my most absolute favourite wineries in NOTL! From the extremely friendly staff to the delicious wines and fun atmosphere, it's always a great time! THANK YOU to all of the incredible servers who make having a tasting there just so much fun!
Jennifer G — Google review
Very interesting winery with a unique approach. But overpriced and not friendly. Would be better if they didn't charge for a tasting up front and instead make it free if you buy. Having paid the highest price in the area for a tasting, I was not interested in buying any wine. Don't bother going here.

Treadwell Cuisine is a renowned upscale-casual Canadian restaurant located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Known for its patio dining and menu featuring local, seasonal fare and regional wines, it's advisable to make reservations well in advance due to its popularity. The award-winning farm-to-table restaurant sources the best local producers and offers a seasonal 4-course prix fixe menu in the evenings.
No beating around the bush - it’s just as phenomenal as all the other reviews say. If you have any doubts, don’t. This is the real deal. Sitting at the counter, you truly get to dive into how well oiled of a machine Chef and his kitchen staff are. Friendly, meticulous, attentive, between timing out their protein cook times, dishes and plating, they had the courtesy to consistently check in on us, ask how everything was and make conversation. One of the best meals and service experiences I’ve ever had.
Adam S — Google review
We had a fantastic Sunday brunch at Treadwell Cuisine. We shared the seasonal peach, tomato, and burrata dish as well as the charcuterie selection. Both were spectacular. Standout entrees included the Lobster Club sandwich, the blueberry pancake, and the two egg breakfast with the fingerling potatoes and toast. Service was fantastic, everything was delivered straight from the kitchen piping hot, and we did not feel rushed at all. We enjoyed our meal and our visit. Highly recommend.
Maria P — Google review
Overall a decent place for tourists looking for a place to sit down and eat. Reasonably priced for the area, the food comes well presented and in large portions, and they do try to make the taste of every dish interesting in some way. Not sure if the effort was made in the right direction though. The staff were all very nice, and the outdoor dining space has a nice vibe. Overall, I would still recommend this place over many other restaurants in the same area.
Chen X — Google review
My husband and I recently used Treadwell as our catering service for our wedding at Ironwood Cider House and we were very impressed. We have been to the Treadwell restaurant as customers as well as for our wedding menu tasting and we have nothing but great things to say! The service and food was impeccable. We loved sitting in front of the kitchen watching the chefs work their craft. As for our catering at our wedding, the service was still stellar, but the food was slightly below our expectations. Our appetizers weren’t quite on point - the scallop smelled too fishy, and the carrot salad wasn’t seasoned enough. For the entrees, the halibut was a bit dry, but the striploin was just as good as when we tried it during our menu tasting. Overall, we definitely still recommend Treadwell for sure! We understand the logistics of catering is obviously quite different than making to order at a restaurant, which is why we are still very content!

The lamb special was terrible but then they changed it to the mushroom gnocchi! OMG!!!!!!! the best I have ever had. Apps were epic and dessert was very very good. Service was great! Its a 4.5 star but rounding it up!

Stopped here for dinner with a group of friends, we had a large group about a dozen of. James was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. The service was amazing, the ambiance was excellent, and the food was absolutely phenomenal! Everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted delicious. The fresh bread, the home made butter, the appetizers, all amazing. I ordered the filet mignon... this was the best steak I have ever had. The chef did a wonderful job, all of our plates came out exactly as ordered. Desserts were also impressive. I ordered the chocolate creme brulee. We all enjoyed a wonderfully cooked meal and had such a great time. We will definitely be making reservations again. The cost to eat here is about $150 (Canadian.) per person.
Jason S — Google review
The best lobster sandwich I’ve ever had!! You must go here. Lunch was fantastic, service was exceptional. Restaurant is fun. The open kitchen gives you confidence that your food is being prepared the right way. We ate at many restaurants in town and by far this was the best all around experience. Thanks. We will be back the next time we are in the area.
Rob F — Google review
Excellent food, great location, and atmosphere. We made reservations to eat outdoors when it was 30C outside, but the shade canopy and the breeze made it feel a lot cooler out. We ordered the sweet chili glazed pork belly Sunday brunch special and the salmon with zucchini blossom and vegetables. The food was very delicious! This place is such a hidden gem, a must try!

Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery is a charming and elegant estate located on a fifth-generation family farm. This family-owned winery is renowned for its organic vineyards, award-winning culinary experiences, and picturesque wood-burning pizza oven surrounded by an outdoor bar overlooking the stunning vineyards. Visitors can also explore the on-site grocery store offering delectable cheese and wine to enjoy amidst the scenic vineyard. The cozy farmhouse-style restaurant and bar provide a warm ambiance to savor exquisite cuisine.
From the very beginning, our experience at Ravine Winery was amazing. As soon as we arrived, a lovely lady welcomed us and guided us through the wine tasting, taking the time to explain how everything worked. The supervisor also stepped in to assist, and we were so impressed when she mentioned that the First Lady hadn’t even clocked in yet. We felt terrible we didn’t catch her name to thank her properly. Kyle was fantastic in explaining and suggesting wines, making the tasting even more enjoyable. Afterward, we had lunch, and the experience got even better thanks to Michelle, who was so understanding and helpful throughout. To finish, we explored the little farm with pigs, goats, and chickens, which was such a charming touch to the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Pretty. Super service, some great tasting wines can be had along with hummus and/or a variety of 3 cheeses (Brie, goat’s cheese and another hard artisanal cheese) with smokey mustard, sweet pickled onions and Maple syrup. Wine tasting can also be accompanied by other snacks such as potato chips etc. Full lunch menu is also available. Great views of the vineyard - not particularly extensive but gives you a feel of wine country nonetheless. Great afternoon out!

Ravine is my favorite winery in the NOTL region and has been for years! Located in St Davids, the wines are fabulous, the grounds are beautiful, and the service is outstanding. Utkaresh helped us on this visit and he was awesome describing the wines and ensuring we had everything we needed to have a great experience They have a small seating area inside to enjoy your flight or a large patio area outside. They offer charcuterie boards, hummus and other small snacks. There is also a bakery and full restaurant on premise (note the 3 all operate differnt hours) Their tasting flight allows you to pick 4 wines from their offerings. They have a wide range of wines *4 sparkling in both brut and charmat styles, 9 whites, 1 rose, 7 reds, and 1 ice wine were available. We shared 3 flights and a glass of ice wine so we tried 13 of their offerings and enjoyed all of them. My favorites were the sparklers, rose and oaked chardonay. This is a MUST stop on your NOTL visit My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great place to visit! Amazing service — truly beyond expectations. The staff was friendly, the wine selection had great taste and variety, and the cheese tray was absolutely delicious. Everything was quite pocket-friendly compared to other wineries. What impressed me most was their attention to detail — they happily accommodated my food sensitivities and provided gluten-friendly crackers at no extra cost! Our server, Shennel, was exceptional and made the experience even better. A lovely spot for everyone — even kids can enjoy snacks and sodas from the Greenhouse and play in the huge open field within their parents’ sight while the adults relax and enjoy the wines. Highly recommended! 🍷🧀🌿

After having a number of fantastic wine and dining experiences at Ravine we decided to celebrate our wedding at Ravine Vineyard this August and it was the best decision ever! This venue is like no other and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more beautiful day. The venue aesthetically is stunning and feels both upscale but also relaxed. The food and drink is of a very high quality and the patios and event spaces are bright, spacious and very welcoming! In the weeks leading up to our big day our planner (Abby) was helpful, responsive and really put our minds at ease. She was extremely accommodating with requests and provided some thoughtful recommendations throughout the process. Abby and the day of coordinator work with all our vendors on the day and and overall it was such a relaxing day. Most of our guests traveled from abroad and it was clear to us they were very impressed with everything that Ravine brought to our day. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Ravine for a celebratory event or special occasion!

We stopped in on a quiet Wednesday and had an amazing view of the vineyard. Tons of shaded seating outside but also a cute indoor tasting room as well. A wide variety of wines including some amazing bold reds. The whole selection of wines tended towards being more dry which I greatly appreciate. Staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this winery!

This was our fifth winery in two days and wow what a pleasant surprise! Warm and inviting atmosphere! Loved the seating area…a lot of space to gather. The view of the vineyard is spectacular. Victoria was of great assistance providing us with history and knowledge of the winery. This is the winery that sold me on white wine. I am not a white wine drinker, but when I tasted the Patricia Block Riesling , I was sold! This wine tasted so magical! Then another that I sampled was the Riesling ice wine which again Is something that I have not enjoyed in many years. My colleagues had ordered this as part of their wine flight of testing but I had not. Victoria thought to bring me a sample of the Riesling ice wine with the thought that I may change my mind on ice wine. This Riesling ice wine was pure silk, the liquid just sat on my tongue with just the right sweetness! It was just a wow moment. Thank you so much, Victoria. I cannot wait to sit with my husband and enjoy these Rieslings.

Nestled in the picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, Palatine Hills Estate Winery has been a cherished family-owned establishment for over four decades. The Neufeld family, originally grape growers, transitioned into winemaking and now offers an impressive array of wines including Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and even Icewine and Sparkling Wine. Visitors can enjoy tastings in a charming room that was once a drive shed; here you might even get to sample rare out-of-stock bottles!
Really enjoyed our wine tour here, as part of the Chocolate and Cheese tour. The wine and dessert pairing with chocolate bon bon what's great, paired with the Viognier. Otherwise, we also decided to taste some of the flight options as we started off very well. The host was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable in their wines and meal pairings.

While there are a ton of wineries in Niagara to visit... Palatine Hills stood out as one of the most enjoyable from a setup perspective. First time I went there we just got a bottle and two glasses and literally went in the middle of the vineyard to chill. Great idea for a date! Some years later we returned and the patio is nicely setup with comfy couches, muskoka chairs and even a games area (that kids loved). You can still go chill in the grass by the vine. Wine is decent... staff is amazingly friendly and I always enjoy coming here.

We had the pleasure of being in the hands of Allan C, who was so knowledgeable, hospitable and friendly. The atmosphere was fun and we had a blast playing jenga and corn hole on the outdoor patio. We will definitely come back.

This is arguably the best quality wine for the price point in all of Niagara. The wines were amazing and the winery was absolutely beautiful. Thank you to the hosts at Palatine Hills for an amazing afternoon

We had a great time during our tasting at Palatine. Although a few of the wines we tasted were not our absolute favourites we had a nice experience. The music, the games, the vibes were all fantastic. Also loved the merchandise and the friendly staff. Recommend adding it to your wine tour bucket list.

If you want creative and different, you will appreciate Palatine Hills. What you won't find here are the sorts of common things other wineries are doing. Fun. Laid back. Nonconformist. Zero stuffiness. Zero uprightness.

Since its inception in 2001, this charming boutique winery has embraced environmentally sustainable practices to produce premium organic wines that reflect a deep respect for nature. The farm is powered entirely by renewable energy sources like wind and water, showcasing a commitment to eco-friendly winemaking.
This place is awesome! There are some farm animals but they are mostly fenced in. Place is quite small, only two small tasting tables and a small shop. BUT, their wine is amazing!!! We did a flight and bought all four we tried. The orange wine is unique, stronger flavor than many other orange wines. Ice wine is less sweet than usual, made from red grapes instead of white, and had a nice strong fragrance and taste of raisins somehow! Simply amazing. Never had an ice wine like that before. Rose, whites and reds are also good. Must try! Lady working there was friendly and helpful. Although, if you plan to visit, reservations might work better. We were there when they first open so was able to do a quick walk-in after their first reservation left. But later when we returned in the afternoon to buy more wines ( yes we returned in the same day), it was packed. Many were waiting and there was not that much room to wait around.

I won’t comment on the wine taste as that is subjective. But we did a tasting and we weren’t even afforded what amounted to a glass of wine. Maybe 1/3 a glass if we were lucky across 4 types of wine. Nice property if you like orchards and gardens with animals. Considering the tasting is the cost of one of their bottles, you’re better off getting a bottle.
Matt W — Google review
We were looking for a kid friendly place and from the reviews this was it. unfortunately the animals they have are all in cages and there is nowhere to sit while you enjoy your wine. The grounds are not kept up which makes it a little tough to wander the property. The man working was super friendly! Maybe more of place to stop in and grab wine to go but not really a good spot to enjoy tastings. A couple picnic tables would be beneficial I think.

One of just two organic wineries in the Niagara region. We’re not wine experts but loved the whole line of wines offered during tasting. All their wines are dry but nice and fruity and easy drinking. The farm is quaint and homely and the free roaming animals add so much character and charm to the experience. The employee that ran our tasting was very knowledgeable and so friendly. She was more than willing to teach us about wine but also chit-chat about the farm’s history. You can only get this wine from out the farm store’s doors, they’re not distributed through LCBO so there’s great unique bottles to be picked up. We visited in mid-December and had a great time, we’re sure in spring or summer there’s an even more full experience, so we’re already planning to come back soon next year. Definitely recommend!
Justin H — Google review
pros: Wine was delicious and not overpriced to buy by the bottle. The property with the animals was gorgeous. cons: the pours on the tasting were so small and not worth the price. Would have bought more if they had been more generous in their serving size. All samples combined would have equaled less than half a standard glass of wine.
Lisa F — Google review
This winery is amazing! Their premises are all wind-powered, the wines are organic and taste great, and the property is beautiful and perfect for a family outting. They have animals, such as sheep, ducks, chickens, and a beautiful pond of course!
Carolina M — Google review
Simple little shop with some not so simple wine. Definitely worth checking out. The grape juice is beyond delicious. Kids liked looking at the farm animals out front.
Douglas B — Google review
Very quick stop type of destination. We went at noon, but felt like it wasn't opened although online says 11am. The patio wasn't open for tasting. Perfect for kids to walk around and see animals and play under the trees. They also gave the kids a complimentary cup of grape juice. We ended up buying a bottle of juice since it's delicious. Love that it is organic!

Quiet Acres is a charming farm stand offering a wide variety of high-quality produce. They take great care in sourcing seasonal items and locally grown products, ensuring freshness and flavor. The establishment has implemented excellent Covid-19 safety measures, including one-way traffic flow and multiple stations for individual selection of fruits and vegetables. Visitors rave about the sweet and juicy peaches available at Quiet Acres, as well as the reasonable prices for both perfect and slightly imperfect produce.

During our trip to Niagara Falls, we were interested in exploring farms in the area. While searching online, I came across Quiet Acres in Niagara-on-the-Lake. However, I found the prices to be quite high, and I would like to share my thoughts on this. Our primary motivation was to discover farms near Niagara Falls, and Quiet Acres seemed like a promising option. The farm highlighted its specialty in providing freshly cut vegetables, which naturally piqued my interest. However, upon closer inspection, I found the prices to be beyond what I considered reasonable, and I was personally taken aback by the expense. I understand the value of fresh produce, but in my opinion, the prices at Quiet Acres seemed steep, and I had a difficult time justifying the cost. As a traveler on a budget, I found the farm's offerings to be on the expensive side, especially when compared to other farms in the area. It's important to note that each farm has its own unique offerings and pricing structure. While I personally found Quiet Acres to be pricey, it's possible that others who prioritize the freshness and quality of vegetables may be more willing to pay a premium. Ultimately, the decision comes down to individual preferences and budgetary constraints. In conclusion, if you are interested in visiting a farm near Niagara Falls and specifically seeking freshly cut vegetables, Quiet Acres in Niagara-on-the-Lake may be worth considering. However, be aware that the prices may be higher compared to other farms in the area, and it's important to evaluate your own budget and priorities before making a decision.

Good place to get quality produce. They have seasonal items for sale and sell locally sourced items. Their Covid-19 practices are great. The shop is set up so that you can only go one way through. There are also multiple stations so that you can pick your produce separatly from someone else who is picking their produce while having access to the same items. The creation of stations means that two groups can move through the line at the same time while social distancing and they won't need to stay as long. As far as produce, everything was very high quality. Items we couldn't find were accessible at the store across the road, but thankfully almost everything we needed was available here. All in all a great one stop shop.

So much variety! Plan to spend time to enjoy your visit. Annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, grasses, bushes, trees, hanging and patio arrangements... Also a large pond with a fountain adding to a charming atmosphere! Just be aware that the business is closed Sundays.

One stop place for every type of plant like flowe, vegetable, herbs, creepers, trees, bushes etc. The nursing has plenty of variety. It is well maintained. Every section has been divided which makes shopping much easier. The plants are fresh and affordable. Plan your visit and enjoy. The nursery is closed on Sunday.

This place is one of my favourites for affordable plants. They boast a large facility with tonnes of options for plants. Outside you can find trees, bushes, and shrubs. To name a few: blueberries and hydrangeas of all different kinds. There are so many varieties of plants that it takes a while to get through. On one side of the garden centre, you'll find an abundance of herbs and plants for creating the perfect garden. There are lots of perennials, ground coverage plants, and some slightly more unique plants such as banana plants (different sizes available). On the other side you'll find annuals in bright colours ready to go. There are additionally some other plants such as succulents, floral arrangements, ferns, and vines available. I love going at different times of the year as they rotate through their stock.

Seaway Farms and Greenhouses, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, is a popular stop for plant enthusiasts. The variety of plants available is impressive, especially during the summer months when other garden centers are winding down. Customers appreciate the competitive prices and high-quality produce like cherries and plums. Visitors also enjoy the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere created by regular customers.
I had a fantastic experience at Seaway Farm in Niagara on the Lake! If you’re looking to buy flowers for your garden, don't make a decision without visiting this place first. The selection is impressive, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience enjoyable. This charming spot is a must-visit for anyone in the area! Highly recommend it!

Stopped at this nursery for buying plants. I’m so glad that we shopped here. The choices are unbelievable! So much of variety to pick from and that too in July when most garden centres have started winding up in Ontario. Also the prices are geared to make the shopper buy. For instance geraniums baskets were priced at $20 for 3 while at Binbrook the same thing was for $20 each. Also the fresh produce like cherries, plums, etc were plenty, of grade one quality and had competitive price tags. Must visit to buy in bulk for summer garden. Thank you.

The best quality plants in all of Niagara! HALF THE PRICE OF EVERYWHERE ELSE!!! Huge pots of the best herbs with so many varieties! And veggies in cell packs that are so healthy! (You get 4 in a cell pack for less than the price of one plant at other places!) AMAZING flowers and hanging baskets of every combination, as far as the eye can see! And an entire greenhouse dedicated to perennials! Spring bulbs and fall mums round out the years selection. RUN, DONT WALK!!!

We are avid plant enthusiasts, which is why we were thrilled to visit farms near Niagara Falls last week. During our exploration, we came across a massive garden store with a stunning greenhouse setup on the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake. This garden store boasts an impressive variety of kitchen herbs, vegetables, flowers, and fruit plants. They also offer a great selection of container pot plants, making it the perfect destination for all your gardening needs. Whatever you require for your garden, from soil to mulch and fertilizer, they have it all. One thing that caught my attention was the extensive range of hanging pot options available at this garden store. They even had some exceptionally rare plants. Additionally, they showcased a diverse collection of succulents, indoor plants, and decorative pot items, all at very reasonable prices. The location is also easily identifiable, making it convenient for visitors to find. We highly recommend this garden store, as they cater to both wholesale and retail customers. The ample parking space, wheelchair accessibility, and availability of washrooms add to the overall convenience. Furthermore, the store also hosts a Farmer's Market, offering fresh-cut vegetables, fruits, honey, and nuts. It's a delightful addition to the wonderful experience.

Palatine Fruit & Roses is a must-visit for rose enthusiasts and gardeners. The nursery offers an impressive selection of unique roses and fruit trees, with exceptional quality and healthy plants. Customers have praised the exceptional customer service, professionalism, and organization of the owners, Rene and Eva. The nursery's roses are known for their vigorous growth and large root sizes, surpassing those from other distributors.
They were the absolute star for any rose lover! I’ve been shopping there for years, and my small yard is filled with their stunning roses. The variety and the health of their plants were unmatched, making them a must-visit for every rose enthusiast in the GTA. Each year, I made the three-hour journey from King, ON, at least 4-5 times. Those trips were a bit crazy but incredibly memorable and enjoyable—like going on a treasure hunt every time. I can’t believe they’re closing their retail business; it’s such a heartbreaking loss!

I was one of the first ones here when you opened on Saturday. So many roses on for sale. We preordered three roses, two we bought, and one, the Peace rose, was bagged. Your resources were very helpful like the perfume wheel and the descriptions of each rose are concise. My favourite part was meeting the cat, Halleen. What a cute Kitty she is. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to grow roses in their garden.

Best.Roses.Anywhere. I've bought bareroots from Palatine by mail for years, and they are absolutely wonderful. I live in southern Ohio, USA, but feel tempted to drive up someday just to see this amazing place. One red rose planted grew to 10 x 10 feet in 3 years in a loamy, sunny spot- it is absolutely epic and the best experience I have ever had- I’ve planted more than a hundred roses in the last 20 years and the 20 or so I have purchased from Palatine are the hardiest, most climate-change survivable roses I have ever had. They arrive as carefully cared for, advanced and well pruned bareroots, too. Place them well and you will be delighted.

My roses from Palatine were exceptionally healthy (Blazing star (left, >7' tall) and Malicorne (right, 6' tall)) and so tall on their first season. I am 5'10". I am so happy with the health of these roses, and have enjoyed my other roses as well. I was so surprised Malicorne got so tall in its first year, given your website said it would be 2' tall. but this is amazing, I love it's height.

Wonderful place to shop for various Roses . They have lots of variety and very good price range . They have rose bushes, climbing roses, rambling rose and more. Staff is incredibly good and helpful. They explain you everything very well. I was very impressed with them. I will definitely recommend this place if you are rose plant fan and need specific kind of roses. Beside roses they do have other plants as well including cedars at very good price.

They offer fresh nuts from late September to late November and crack black walnuts and walnuts year-round. Customers can purchase their products online, with the option to pick them up at the nursery. The nursery's hazelnut seedlings come with a healthy root system and have been thriving after planting.
Very knowledgable staff, willing to help you make the right decision on tree choices for your specific property. Provided us with great advice about planting and caring for our trees. Our trees are growing beautifully and we are ordering more for this year. It's always comforting to work with a family based business who has decades of experience. Thanks so much for all your help
Syme J — Google review
BUYER BEWARE! we bought 70 Hazelnuts and we lost every bush. We called Grimo and they refused to do anything to remedy the issue. We contacted them repeatedly once we thought we had a problem, and were told to be patient and give the plants a chance. After several months of trying to get a response, Linda told us in Mid July that she wouldn't do anything until we had the plants analyzed and she needed proof because we had or did something wrong. We involved the University of Wisconsin and they sent us a Regional Plant Educator to tour our planting. He showed us a list of 14 items for a possible failure and we went through it item by item with him and he said we did everything correctly. He reviewed our soil tests and all was within reason for Hazelnuts. 3 of the items on the had to do with the Nursery.1) improperly handling the plants prior to shipping, 2)plants exposed to extreme temperatures during shipping or 3)plants drying out during shipping. We asked Grimo to look into this since we paid them to ship us the plants and were just told it was something wrong on our side. They sent the plants to us on a very warm day, and the damp newspaper backing they had on the roots was at the bottom of the box and not over the roots in all places. Some roots were slightly dry. We did not tell them how to ship the plants, when to ship them or which shipper to use, so they were responsible for the plants until we received them. Following Grimos request we had the plants analyzed by the University of Wisconsin Plant Diagnostic Lab and they concluded the plants were more than likely under stress prior to our receiving them. (I included the report below) Linda from Grimo still refused to make it right. At one time she offered us a measly 10% refund, and she never sent a check. LINDA CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. I have planted 1000's of bare root trees and bushes in my life and I know how to handle and care for the plants between receiving and planting. We talked to Grimo before ordering and went to multiple Hazelnut seminars to make sure we did everything we could to assure success. We received our Hazelnut bushes and had them planted into our pre-set up beds with in 4 hours of receiving them. We also planted 300 elderberry bushes we bought elsewhere in same field as the hazelnut bushes from Grimo and they did exceptionally well this year. I have never had a nursery treat me so rudely and not take any responsibility for sending us stressed or injured plants. Whether they did something wrong in shipping them, or the shipper did something that injured the plants, we don't have one plant growing. They took no responsibility and just blamed us for everything. What a waste of $1400.00 I would never suggest dealing with these people they are a bunch of crooks.

Absolutely wonderful. I was looking for some hard-to-find plants and was elated to find them online at Grimo Nut at a reasonable price, and with reasonable shipping rates. Their customer service is top notch. We're looking forward to taking a drive out there in the Fall to see their location--my sister says it's a beautiful spot and their selection of edible nuts is incredible. We're so thrilled to have locally-owned garden shopping options like this!
Stella T — Google review
I purchased two of the Grimo hazelnut seedlings online six weeks ago, and picked them up at my scheduled time at the end of April. It was a beautiful day for a drive out to Niagara to pick up the trees, which came bareroot. They came with a large root system including a healthy tap root, and they are thriving now after two weeks in the ground. I would have loved to get some nuts for eating when I picked up the trees, but unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. The service was helpful and friendly, and Linda responded quickly a few weeks later when I wrote them with a question. This is a great family run business with unique products at reasonable prices. Recommended!

Nestled in the picturesque Niagara region, Parkway Orchards is a delightful stop for anyone traveling toward Niagara-on-the-Lake. This charming destination invites visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while picking fresh apples and pears during the fall season. The orchards not only provide stunning views but also offer an array of local produce that captures the essence of this vibrant area.
This is my favourite farm for cherries season. Aside from the cheap price the trees are very short. Kids can enjoy picking too because easy to reach. This is my 3rd times here. Be back again for the next season. Always choose the Parkway Orchards Farm

We had such a wonderful time at Parkway Orchards today! 🍑 The peaches were fresh, sweet, and super juicy — truly the taste of summer. The farm is well organized, easy to reach, and very family-friendly. Staff were kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy fruit picking and a relaxing day outdoors!

My husband and my parents went to this peach picking location for the first time so we didn’t know what to expect but it turned out to be a lot easier than expected. They block off (4 rows) for the public to enjoy. However I was a bit disappointed to see so many peaches on the ground around the trees. I hope they can repick the ones that are good and sell them. The pricing came out to be a lot cheaper than what you’d get in store.

My favorite fruit picking place!! Went for cherry-picking with my parents, the yellow and the red cherries are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fresh! Especially the yellow cherries, my favorite fruit, I've never seen any cherries from a grocery store to be as fresh as the freshly picked ones! Yes the price is higher than the grocery store, however don't forget when you purchase from grocery store, it's NEVER fresh any more! It's not a daily purchase item, it's just an event can bring you a joyful, fruitful day with lots of happiness! I've attached some photos, iPhone pro max direct, NO ps at all! look at the cherries!!

It was my first time picking peaches so I didn't know how to recognize which ones to pick. I asked and they said twist the peach, if it comes off easily, they are ready. Just like apple picking. There is a price to in the orchard and then, its 4$ per pound. It goes up fast. I found there was a lot a trash near the trees. Not so nice to see. However, it was a fun activity to do for the whole family.

Parkway Orchard is a total gem on the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake! Super easy to find on the main road, not heavy on the wallet, and packed with fresh, tasty fruits. We grabbed cherries and peaches in July—absolutely worth every bite (and every dollar)!

Lovely owner, juicy peaches! We stopped by after the Falls with a large group of teens and preteens. Great time! And also they were the only farm with peaches and nectarines available for picking. Highly recommend! Support local farmers, buy Canadian.

We had such a wonderful time peach picking! The orchard was clean, well-maintained, and very welcoming. One of the best parts—it’s pet friendly, not just for dogs but cats too! We brought our furry friends along, and they enjoyed the walk through the peaceful, open space just as much as we did. The peaches were top quality—sweet, juicy, and easy to pick right off the tree. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was relaxing and fun. Highly recommend for families, fruit lovers, and anyone wanting a pet-friendly summer outing with amazing peaches!

Great place and friendly people. Our family really enjoyed the visit. Very clean and neat farm. The coronation grapes are full of flavor. Great place If you want to get quality honey and grapes. They had nectarines and plums too. Will visit next year again. Thank you for your great customer service. 👍

We went to the JT farm on our way to Niagara- On-the- Lake. The owner is really cool and very friendly. He guided us on how to pick grapes. The entrance fee & the grapes prices are affordable. The grapes are really yummy. We also bought a basket of peaches & a bottle of ice wine. You should try the ice wine. The owner is making them himself. I highly recommend the wine and I will try to go to the grape picking next year.

Another PYO great experience in Niagara! Raspberries are what’s happening now now now! John and Irene(lovely couple) run this 2 acre fruit orchard. Looks like we got 7-10 days left for picking. These bright juicy berries are worth the side trip!

Cosy, familiar e awesome place to visit. We went to harvest seedless grapes and got to know they sell ice wines, and by the way, it is the most delicious ice wine I ever tasted and to make it even better, way cheaper than its competitors. Recommended place to visit, John and Irene, the owners, are great people, friendly and nice to talk.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had such an amazing experience at JT Farms! 🍓🍇 The lovely lady and gentleman were so kind and guided us on how to do the picking properly. Their warm hospitality made us feel so welcome. We came all the way from Saudi Arabia and absolutely loved spending time here with our kids. The farm is beautiful, the fruits are fresh and delicious, and the whole atmosphere is so peaceful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun family activity!

A beautiful place with a fascinating setup, showcasing bees busily making honey in their hives and offering a variety of honey-based products. The owner was super friendly, and we greatly enjoyed our conversation with her. I would gladly visit again for their outstanding hospitality, high-quality products, and inviting atmosphere.

The best pure honey shop in Niagara Falls. Everything made of honey or related to honey…..it’s just amazing and cute. We purchased few flavoured of their honey here…..all taste sooo good. They have sample to taste before buy. I like their pure honey, blueberry honey, creamy raw honey and chocolate honey…. I also like their handmade honey soap. I’ll comeback for more in my next trip here.😊

Throughout my life I did not enjoy eating honey, maybe because of its taste or maybe because I could taste sugar in it. However, since the last couple of years we have been regularly getting honey from Honey Fields. It is absolutely the best honey we've ever had. We also gave out honey and soap goodie bags as new year gifts and Diwali gifts and everyone in our friends and family loved it. Highly recommended if you are looking for pure honey.

Honey Fields 🍯 | Must-Visit Local Honey Farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you’re a 🍯 honey lover, don’t miss this hidden gem in Niagara-on-the-Lake! One of the best honey farms in Ontario — offering pure, farm-fresh honey directly from the source. 🐝 ✅ Self-pickup available (cash or e-transfer) 🏡 Cute tiny house-style pickup counter ⏰ Store was closed during our visit, but the self-serve section was fully stocked 📅 We’ve visited for the past 2 years and plan to come back when the store is open 🚗 Ample free parking ❤️ Not a paid review — just sharing our amazing personal experience! Perfect day trip from Toronto — support local farms and taste the difference. 🙌

The raw creamed honey is diabolically delicious. I can’t stop eating it. It’s one of those things where you have it on a buttered piece of fresh, toasted, homemade bread, then lose yourself for a few decadent minutes eating it, and after it’s done wishing you had made TWO pieces of toast. You could just put another piece in the toaster oven and wait another 5 minutes…. No one will know. A half hour later you realize the bread is gone, and the jar is empty; and that’s how it starts… Those Honey Fields bees got you addicted to that sweet, sweet, creamed honey.
