Nature & Parks
Queen's Royal Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a picturesque waterfront green space featuring a small beach, a charming gazebo, picnic tables, benches, and restrooms. It's an ideal destination for a leisurely stroll with stunning views of the Niagara River and Fort Niagara. The park is within walking distance from Queen Street in the old town, allowing visitors to enjoy the colonial-style houses along the way.
After lunch we walked through town and checked out a few shops before finding our way to Queen's Royal Park. It's a beautiful walk way along the river. Very scenic and peaceful. It was nice to just relax and watch some boats go by, and watch people fall off their paddle boards. There was no cost to enter the park.
Jason S — Google review
Situated in the town of Niagara-on-the-lake, this park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the town. A stretch of lawn with benches for a small picnic or a small beach area to relax and have fun. A small pathway that is nice with a great view of lake Ontario. Just across the street is parking and it is conveniently located near the downtown area. A perfect tourist attraction, period.
Pritesh G — Google review
The Queen's Royal Park is a beautiful park in the Niagara-on-the-Lake region where people can walk, sit and relax. The view of the lake is wonderful. People can have picnics with family and friends and enjoy during summers. There are designated parking lots close to the park where one can easily pay for parking their vehicles. Downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake is just walking distance from the park and has some great shops, cafes and restaurants.
Sid K — Google review
Explored this lovely park when visiting the niagara falls. You can see the downtown Toronto from there, especially when the sky is clear. The lake looks really blue, and its so peaceful to walk around. Definitely worth a visit during your trip! :)

We love visiting the picturesque Queens Royal Park whenever we are in Niagara-on-the Lake region. The Gazebo acts as a beautiful and romantic backdrop for pictures! The place is ideal for a picnic or a romantic stroll. We love going there for an amazing sunset view over Lake Ontario.
Sonela M — Google review
Very scenic park along the Lake Ontario. Park is maintained well and maybe crowded during weekends. Mandatory paid parking. Washrooms are available and it’s very clean and well maintained. Toronto skyline maybe visible if the sky is clear . Some buildings like old Niagara fort at USA side is clearly visible. This place is something unique.
Karthick S — Google review
Amazing place to enjoy during summer! It has free parking area. The whole niagra city on the lake is amazing and pretttyyy🩵 It was fun visiting this place with friends and family. People were doing kayaking and riding the boats 🛥️! Also there is walk way area which makes it more beautiful! Place gets bit crowded on weekends. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby to the other streets. The garden hill area is best to rest and enjoy the view of sea and also the other side u can see USA

This was my first time going to Canada. I saw online, when I was planning my trip to Niagara Falls, that Niagara on the Lake was a must see. I have to agree now that I've been. It's a very beautiful place the flowers are so pretty and well kept. We walked around town and to the lake. The lake is very nice as well. Benches in the shade to sit and admire the scenery. I'm very glad we didn't miss visiting here.

Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant is a chic, contemporary dining spot located within the upscale Peller Estates Winery. The restaurant offers farm-to-table cuisine paired with wines produced on-site. With its warm and inviting ambiance, the restaurant has garnered attention from both patrons and critics alike. The menu is thoughtfully curated with seasonal offerings sourced from local farms, forests, and waters.
My visit to Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant was an absolute delight! Thanks to the beautiful weather, simply being there was a wonderful experience in itself. The wines were delicious, and our guide, Johnny, was exceptionally professional and friendly, making the tasting experience truly informative and enjoyable. A particular highlight was the opportunity to sample ice wine in a dedicated special area – that really stood out! Don't forget, the tasting glass you're given is yours to keep after the tour, so make sure to take it home as a souvenir. If you're looking to explore expansive vineyards, enjoy delicious wines, and see a pristine winery, I highly recommend Peller Estates. It's a fantastic place for wine lovers and those looking for a beautiful day out.

We ordered the 5-course tasting menu, each beautifully paired with a glass of wine. Every dish and wine pairing was absolutely delightful — full of flavor and thoughtfully crafted. The service was warm and attentive, which made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. The setting is simply stunning: dining while overlooking the vast, serene vineyard was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The interior design is equally impressive, especially the striking wall behind the counter, which adds to the charm of the space. Overall, it was an experience filled with joy, beauty, and a deep sense of appreciation — I would love to return again and again.

My husband and I had the opportunity to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary at Peller Estates with our children. The fine dining at The Winery Restaurant was above and beyond expectation from start to finish. Sybille, their lovely hostess, was so kind and welcoming when we arrived. We appreciate her hospitality and kind demeanour. As we were sat, our lovely waitress Julie made our celebration a night to remember. Sparkling wine for my husband and I and two sparkling apple juices for our children (ages 10 and 14). Our 3 course dinner prix fixe meal was divine. We can cannot wait to return next time. I would highly recommend their East Coast Digby Scallop Crudo and their Signature Lobster Linguine. For dessert, their Mille-Feuille were also excellent paired with of course their Signature Series Oak Aged Vidal. Thanks to you Kayla Wall, hospitality manager for ensuring our special night was one to be remembered. Until next time!

I really enjoyed the tour at Peller Winery. It was a great experience to learn more about wines and how they are made, especially since I am not very knowledgeable about wine. The guide was very friendly and willing to explain even the simplest things, which made the visit even better. The wines were delicious and I loved that they gave us the tasting glasses as a gift because they are so pretty. The only downside for me was that the shop prices felt a bit high but overall everything was beautiful and worth the visit.

Peller Estates in Niagara on the Lake is a stunning winery with beautifully maintained grounds and a touch of grandeur. We booked the guided tour, which began a bit slowly outside as we learned about the vineyard’s history and winemaking process. Thankfully, things picked up and became much more engaging as we moved indoors and explored behind the scenes. The highlight was definitely the 10 Below Ice Lounge. It was an unforgettable experience that was really cool 🥶 both literally and metaphoricallyl! They give you large parkas to wear to warm things up a bit. It was such a fun way to end the tour! The wines themselves were enjoyable and reflective of the Niagara region's charm. Overall, it was a memorable experience that started off a little snooze worthy 😴 and finished on a positive note. Highly recommend adding Peller Estates to your Niagara-on-the-Lake wine itinerary!

🍷🍾The wine selection was exceptional, with a fantastic range of reds, whites, and sparkling wines. The Icewine, of course, was a highlight—rich, smooth, and unlike anything else. 🍴🥩The set menu at their restaurant was simply delicious. If you're looking for a winery experience that combines great wine, fantastic food, and beautiful surroundings, Peller Estate is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back for another round of wine and food pairing!

Our group of six had an absolutely fantastic time at Pellar Estate! The winery tour was informative and engaging. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the experience so enjoyable. The wines were delicious, and we loved learning about the winemaking process. After the tour, we had lunch, and the food was outstanding! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with their wines. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the beautiful weather made it even more special. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Pellar Estate for anyone looking for a great wine-tasting experience, delicious food, and a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be back! A perfect day out with friends! 🍷☀️

Great experience! Peter, our guide was knowledgeable, helpful, funny and engaging. I spent $45++ pp for two of us, and they offered 4 types of samples (bubbly, white wine, red wine, and their famous ice wine) There’s also water and juice for those who don’t wish to drink. They also offered jackets for the -10 degree room (decor made with ice) which was considerate and a fun experience. There’s lots of time for photos and they allow you to roam around freely in the whole winery. There’s also a restaurant which I did not try, but the vibes seem amazing. Highly recommend for bachelorettes, a couple date or for tourist!!! Customer service was great, I was running behind for my 2pm appointment due to traffic and road closures so I called the winery to reschedule and give me the 3pm slot on a Monday, which they were more than happy to do and I am glad I could enjoy the full tour with my mother. Free parking is a plus!

Treadwell Cuisine is a renowned upscale-casual Canadian restaurant located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Known for its patio dining and menu featuring local, seasonal fare and regional wines, it's advisable to make reservations well in advance due to its popularity. The award-winning farm-to-table restaurant sources the best local producers and offers a seasonal 4-course prix fixe menu in the evenings.
No beating around the bush - it’s just as phenomenal as all the other reviews say. If you have any doubts, don’t. This is the real deal. Sitting at the counter, you truly get to dive into how well oiled of a machine Chef and his kitchen staff are. Friendly, meticulous, attentive, between timing out their protein cook times, dishes and plating, they had the courtesy to consistently check in on us, ask how everything was and make conversation. One of the best meals and service experiences I’ve ever had.
Adam S — Google review
We had a fantastic Sunday brunch at Treadwell Cuisine. We shared the seasonal peach, tomato, and burrata dish as well as the charcuterie selection. Both were spectacular. Standout entrees included the Lobster Club sandwich, the blueberry pancake, and the two egg breakfast with the fingerling potatoes and toast. Service was fantastic, everything was delivered straight from the kitchen piping hot, and we did not feel rushed at all. We enjoyed our meal and our visit. Highly recommend.
Maria P — Google review
Overall a decent place for tourists looking for a place to sit down and eat. Reasonably priced for the area, the food comes well presented and in large portions, and they do try to make the taste of every dish interesting in some way. Not sure if the effort was made in the right direction though. The staff were all very nice, and the outdoor dining space has a nice vibe. Overall, I would still recommend this place over many other restaurants in the same area.
Chen X — Google review
My husband and I recently used Treadwell as our catering service for our wedding at Ironwood Cider House and we were very impressed. We have been to the Treadwell restaurant as customers as well as for our wedding menu tasting and we have nothing but great things to say! The service and food was impeccable. We loved sitting in front of the kitchen watching the chefs work their craft. As for our catering at our wedding, the service was still stellar, but the food was slightly below our expectations. Our appetizers weren’t quite on point - the scallop smelled too fishy, and the carrot salad wasn’t seasoned enough. For the entrees, the halibut was a bit dry, but the striploin was just as good as when we tried it during our menu tasting. Overall, we definitely still recommend Treadwell for sure! We understand the logistics of catering is obviously quite different than making to order at a restaurant, which is why we are still very content!

The lamb special was terrible but then they changed it to the mushroom gnocchi! OMG!!!!!!! the best I have ever had. Apps were epic and dessert was very very good. Service was great! Its a 4.5 star but rounding it up!

Stopped here for dinner with a group of friends, we had a large group about a dozen of. James was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. The service was amazing, the ambiance was excellent, and the food was absolutely phenomenal! Everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted delicious. The fresh bread, the home made butter, the appetizers, all amazing. I ordered the filet mignon... this was the best steak I have ever had. The chef did a wonderful job, all of our plates came out exactly as ordered. Desserts were also impressive. I ordered the chocolate creme brulee. We all enjoyed a wonderfully cooked meal and had such a great time. We will definitely be making reservations again. The cost to eat here is about $150 (Canadian.) per person.
Jason S — Google review
The best lobster sandwich I’ve ever had!! You must go here. Lunch was fantastic, service was exceptional. Restaurant is fun. The open kitchen gives you confidence that your food is being prepared the right way. We ate at many restaurants in town and by far this was the best all around experience. Thanks. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Excellent food, great location, and atmosphere. We made reservations to eat outdoors when it was 30C outside, but the shade canopy and the breeze made it feel a lot cooler out. We ordered the sweet chili glazed pork belly Sunday brunch special and the salmon with zucchini blossom and vegetables. The food was very delicious! This place is such a hidden gem, a must try!

Nestled in the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Shaw Festival Theatre stands as a cultural gem and a must-visit destination for theatre enthusiasts. This flagship 856-seat venue has been captivating audiences since 1962 with its remarkable productions inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw.
Great venue to see a show! Easy to get entry, very friendly staff, every seat has a great view, and the building is beautiful! My one gripe would be the $25 parking but it's better than walking around town. I would definitely see another show here.
Jay H — Google review
We took our children to the Shaw Festival's production of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". The production was amazing. Well written and produced. We were blown away by the set design, costuming and acting. The theater itself is very charming with a lovely gift shop and concession. There is a lot of space in the atrium to sit or stand. The staff and volunteers were wonderful. They even brought booster seats for the kids which meant we didn't have to worry about them not being able to see over the seats ahead of them. I really hope we get to go back sometime in the future!
Tara F — Google review
Nice to see that this venue is still great and has kept up with the times. Seats are very comfortable for longer performances and the slope of the theatre is great. You have a great view even in the second last row of orchestra. Came to see Anything Goes and the production was excellent. Really high production value. Exceeded my expectations.

We attended a ‘Sunday Coffee Concert’ at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The musical performance was led by Music Director Paul Sportelli and supported by members of the Shaw Festival. Playing to a full house audience, singer Jay Turkey joined the musicians in a beautiful version of La Vi e en Rose. The facility, performance and beautiful surroundings of Niagara made for a precious summer musical visit!

First timer yesterday, the theater is very nice, spacious and clean. A nice lobby café and refreshment available before and during intermission as well as little gift shop! The play we saw was "Wait Until Dark" it was a great night out, actors was amazing, the lighting and music everything was just great! The seats and view were great and comfy! Love the under 35 years old pricing they have available! We will be back!

The play at the Shaw festival what is absolutely fantastic. Niagara on the lake was spectacular. The floral display within the town was in full bloom. All the unique shops we're very busy in the streets were filled with people. It was a wonderful experience!

Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery is a charming and elegant estate located on a fifth-generation family farm. This family-owned winery is renowned for its organic vineyards, award-winning culinary experiences, and picturesque wood-burning pizza oven surrounded by an outdoor bar overlooking the stunning vineyards. Visitors can also explore the on-site grocery store offering delectable cheese and wine to enjoy amidst the scenic vineyard. The cozy farmhouse-style restaurant and bar provide a warm ambiance to savor exquisite cuisine.
From the very beginning, our experience at Ravine Winery was amazing. As soon as we arrived, a lovely lady welcomed us and guided us through the wine tasting, taking the time to explain how everything worked. The supervisor also stepped in to assist, and we were so impressed when she mentioned that the First Lady hadn’t even clocked in yet. We felt terrible we didn’t catch her name to thank her properly. Kyle was fantastic in explaining and suggesting wines, making the tasting even more enjoyable. Afterward, we had lunch, and the experience got even better thanks to Michelle, who was so understanding and helpful throughout. To finish, we explored the little farm with pigs, goats, and chickens, which was such a charming touch to the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Pretty. Super service, some great tasting wines can be had along with hummus and/or a variety of 3 cheeses (Brie, goat’s cheese and another hard artisanal cheese) with smokey mustard, sweet pickled onions and Maple syrup. Wine tasting can also be accompanied by other snacks such as potato chips etc. Full lunch menu is also available. Great views of the vineyard - not particularly extensive but gives you a feel of wine country nonetheless. Great afternoon out!

Ravine is my favorite winery in the NOTL region and has been for years! Located in St Davids, the wines are fabulous, the grounds are beautiful, and the service is outstanding. Utkaresh helped us on this visit and he was awesome describing the wines and ensuring we had everything we needed to have a great experience They have a small seating area inside to enjoy your flight or a large patio area outside. They offer charcuterie boards, hummus and other small snacks. There is also a bakery and full restaurant on premise (note the 3 all operate differnt hours) Their tasting flight allows you to pick 4 wines from their offerings. They have a wide range of wines *4 sparkling in both brut and charmat styles, 9 whites, 1 rose, 7 reds, and 1 ice wine were available. We shared 3 flights and a glass of ice wine so we tried 13 of their offerings and enjoyed all of them. My favorites were the sparklers, rose and oaked chardonay. This is a MUST stop on your NOTL visit My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great place to visit! Amazing service — truly beyond expectations. The staff was friendly, the wine selection had great taste and variety, and the cheese tray was absolutely delicious. Everything was quite pocket-friendly compared to other wineries. What impressed me most was their attention to detail — they happily accommodated my food sensitivities and provided gluten-friendly crackers at no extra cost! Our server, Shennel, was exceptional and made the experience even better. A lovely spot for everyone — even kids can enjoy snacks and sodas from the Greenhouse and play in the huge open field within their parents’ sight while the adults relax and enjoy the wines. Highly recommended! 🍷🧀🌿

After having a number of fantastic wine and dining experiences at Ravine we decided to celebrate our wedding at Ravine Vineyard this August and it was the best decision ever! This venue is like no other and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more beautiful day. The venue aesthetically is stunning and feels both upscale but also relaxed. The food and drink is of a very high quality and the patios and event spaces are bright, spacious and very welcoming! In the weeks leading up to our big day our planner (Abby) was helpful, responsive and really put our minds at ease. She was extremely accommodating with requests and provided some thoughtful recommendations throughout the process. Abby and the day of coordinator work with all our vendors on the day and and overall it was such a relaxing day. Most of our guests traveled from abroad and it was clear to us they were very impressed with everything that Ravine brought to our day. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Ravine for a celebratory event or special occasion!

We stopped in on a quiet Wednesday and had an amazing view of the vineyard. Tons of shaded seating outside but also a cute indoor tasting room as well. A wide variety of wines including some amazing bold reds. The whole selection of wines tended towards being more dry which I greatly appreciate. Staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this winery!

This was our fifth winery in two days and wow what a pleasant surprise! Warm and inviting atmosphere! Loved the seating area…a lot of space to gather. The view of the vineyard is spectacular. Victoria was of great assistance providing us with history and knowledge of the winery. This is the winery that sold me on white wine. I am not a white wine drinker, but when I tasted the Patricia Block Riesling , I was sold! This wine tasted so magical! Then another that I sampled was the Riesling ice wine which again Is something that I have not enjoyed in many years. My colleagues had ordered this as part of their wine flight of testing but I had not. Victoria thought to bring me a sample of the Riesling ice wine with the thought that I may change my mind on ice wine. This Riesling ice wine was pure silk, the liquid just sat on my tongue with just the right sweetness! It was just a wow moment. Thank you so much, Victoria. I cannot wait to sit with my husband and enjoy these Rieslings.

The fort comes alive with costumed staff who engage in living history demonstrations, showcasing musket firing and performances by the Fife and Drum Corps during the summer months.
Such a beautiful site with great hosts that make it feel authentic. The site is well maintained with bilingual workers that do presentations throughout the day. We were lucky enough to come during a musket demonstration. The presenter was so educational, fluent in his delivery, and very funny! We will definitely be back on a day that wasn't so warm so we can take in more of the site and hopefully catch another presentation.

Interesting information at the site. Really nice area. Great place to visit. Was fun to see the fife and drum muster with multiple groups present with music demonstrations and musket firing demonstrations. Will come again. Nice that it's free to visit this year (although worth the visit even if you had to pay).

Exceeded expectations and spent more time here than originally planned. Plus in 2025, it is free (except for parking). In addition to a number of buildings with so much historical information and artifacts, there were period dressed staff who were there to provide information or answer your questions. While there, there was a parade to raise the flag, a musket demonstration and a talk about the War of 1812 under some trees. And so dog friendly as we were able to carry our smaller pups into the buildings. Well done!

A very interesting historical site to visit while in the town of niagara on the lake. There were live firing demonstrations then which was cool. Its a big site with underground tunnels, watch towers etc and very relaxing to just walk around and learn about the historical significance of the fort. Highly recommend to drop by while visiting the town

My 13 year old sons and I went here and we just loved it! There were several different learning demonstrations and such a great staff. Super cool place to visit! I highly recommend it.

The Battle of Fort George was fought at this National Historic Site during the War of 1812. It was an American victory and, during the Battle, which was fought in May, 1813 the Fort was almostv entirely destroyed. Although the British retook the fort, they put litte effort into its reconstruction. The only original building on site is a gunpowder magazine. The current Fort was reconstructed in the 1930s. The museum at the fort contains many exhibits that oroginate from the War of 1812 period. The staff and reinactors are amazing.

Our first visit and we were totally bowled over by the experience. They have several presentations, and all of them were comprehensive, informative, and fun! Very impressive presenters, indeed. We even got to taste the cookies and cake that the presenter made based on the original recipes. It's great fun for all ages, and it's free! A must visit place!

This was such an amazing experience. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and so informative. The area is steeped in the history of the War of 1812. I loved seeing crew in the uniforms marching around. The musket display was an experience. Fully recommend visiting Fort George

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Ontario, Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club is a cherished gem in the golfing community. Established in 1875, it proudly holds the title of North America's oldest golf club and is steeped in rich history, having been situated on land significant to the War of 1812. This nine-hole course not only offers a delightful golfing experience but also features modern amenities like lakeside dining and live music during summer months on its sun-drenched patio.
Stopped by on the spur of the moment after walking through the beautiful neighbourhood. We did not have a reservation, but the staff quickly found us a table with a beautiful view overlooking the water. Tristan, our server was fabulous, attentive, friendly, and very genuine. Food was amazing. We shared a shrimp appetizer and followed it with their burger and roast beef sandwich. Huge portions! Would absolutely come back. Thank you!

One of the best golf courses my wife and I have ever played. The course was well maintained, had a lot of history, the view of the old fort and Lake Ontario were amazing and the staff members were very friendly!!! My wife and I plan on playing this course again in the near future when we come back to Canada. Thanks for the great day.

Excellent view with a cool breeze, food was quite reasonable with the location considered. Skip restaurant s further inland and treat yourself to this view. You will thank me later. Beware the Thornberry cider! Delicious but I'm lightweight and it has a subtle punch;)

Enjoyed a round of golf on the oldest course in Ontario. It was a beautiful early fall day and the views of the lake were beautiful. Lunch at the waterside patio was very tasty too!

I requested patio seating but apparently that is not available by reservation so we took the indoor table reserved for us. The view was still very nice, looking out over top of the patio umbrellas. Service was good, relaxed and unrushed. We had the Cornish hen and the Vegetarian Lasagna. The hen was a bit dry and under seasoned. The Lasagna was really flavourful.

Gorgeous 9 hole public golf course with multiple holes on the waterfront. Relatively short, flat, and straight, and kept in impeccable condition. Green fee is very reasonable. Would definitely play there again and try the restaurant next time which overlooks the water.

It's the prettiest 9 hole golf course that runs along the waterfront. Super easy to walk, it runs flat and narrow making it a nice little challenge. The waterfront restaurant is also a great little spot to grab a bite to eat.
Darlene B — Google review
My wife booked an 18 hole for my birthday on Sept 14 on this course. The course is a beautiful course and great views while golfing. My wife and I were paired up with an another very nice couple Mark and Elsa (not sure if that’s how her name is spelled), but they have been to the course many times. Only reason why I didn’t give this course a 5 star is because we had people in front of us playing at a very slow pace, and the marshal/ranger thought we were playing slow, which he decided to tell us how to play faster. The only problem is that we can’t play any faster if the group in front of us was playing very slow and if the marshal/ranger was paying attention and he would have noticed the group in front of us had a couple playing with golf clubs from 1 bag. The group behind us caught up to us on hole 4 (Par 3). This group started to yell to the group in front of us to pick up the pacer hurry it up. Mark and Elsa told us not to be deterred as they have played at this course many times with no issue and this was the first time this had happened to them. My wife and I didn’t enjoy the course as much once we judged by the marshal/ranger on how we should play. The group behind had no golf etiquette or respect for anyone else on the course which ruins other people’s time on the course. It didn’t bother me as much and we actually played ready golf but they’re old fashioned and narrow minded individuals. Honestly it didn’t bother me much afterwards as we played how we wanted to play not worrying about them once we realized some people will be stubborn and rude, but these old timers need to learn how to adapt and adjust to the changing times and treat everyone with respect. We ended cancelling the last 9 holes and left early to go home as we were a bit put off and didn’t enjoy golf that day as much. Not sure I would come back here after that, but we might give it a shot again one day, thanks to Mark and Elsa the couple we were paired with. They made our time out there more enjoyable compared. The starter and gentleman at the pro shop that day were very nice and courteous. The marshal/ranger was nice as he grabbed my bag as it fell off the golf cart for some reason when I strapped it in tight. I would to the marshal that even though you have been there for a long time with lots of experience, sometimes you forgot the things such as seeing things from a different perspective and looking at the bigger picture with groups playing golf, beginners are not always the slow players, sometimes it’s the ones who have been playing for a long time that haven’t changed.

Irish pub
Irish restaurant
Located in a quaint village, The Irish Harp Pub is a lively and authentic hangout offering traditional Irish food, an array of international beers, and live music. It's a family-friendly venue where kids can enjoy the tunes while adults savor Old Speckled Hen or Two-Fisted Stout. The pub's warm atmosphere and hearty menu featuring rich stews, savory pies, fresh seafood, and classic pub sandwiches make it a popular choice for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic pub experience.
I recommend not missing the Irish harp pub if you're visiting this little town. Great quality pub food and the atmosphere is lovely too. We came in on a Sat afternoon where there was live music (nothing too energetic) which adds a nice vibe to the meal. We tried the prime beef dip sandwich, the mussels and a salad. The Prime beef dip was delicious. Succulent beef in good quality ciabatta and a nice gravy on the side. The mussels were fantastic too - good quality mussels here and they were fresh. We tried the creamy wine sauce and it is quite rich with a lot of cream. However it was very delicious! A little on the sweeter side with the cream. The salad was also fresh and tasty with peaches. I've been here a few times many years ago and happy to see the quality has been consistent!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting one of the finest pubs I have ever experienced. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The decor is charming and eclectic, capturing the essence of a cozy Irish getaway, complete with soft lighting and traditional furnishings that create a magical ambiance. The team working there is truly exceptional—Their friendliness and attentiveness made our visit even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend their favorite dishes, which made our dining experience all the more special. Now, let’s talk about the food. Each dish we tried was not only delicious but also uniquely prepared, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors that danced on the palate. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, elevating the meal to something extraordinary. The building itself is stunning, with a beautiful exterior that hints at the warmth and charm waiting inside. As I looked around, I felt as though I had been transported to a magical Irish locale, where every detail contributes to a wonderful experience. I can confidently say this is a must-visit pub—one that I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and exceptional service. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

Classic feeling Irish pub that has a great atmosphere and vibe. Homey and heartwarming live music coupled with hearty dishes consisting mostly of typical pub fare. My only complaint is that service was quite slow. However the experience was overall excellent.

First time ever visiting Niagara on the Lake and this place made it an outstanding experience! The staff was phenomenal, the food was fantastic, and the best part of the whole thing is that not only did the food come out very hot, but it stayed hot through the entire bride meal! By the time I was done eating and ready for a to go box, my food was still hot, and I’m not a fast eater. I’ve never experienced that before! If you’re in the area and hungry, this place is extremely worth a visit!!

Stopped in for lunch this weekend- everything was great! I had the Irish stew, my fiance had the shepherd’s pie. Really enjoyed the champ instead of regular mashed potatoes. Drinks were good. Service was fast and friendly. Good atmosphere. Priced very well- we were under $100 for 2 meals and 3 alcoholic drinks.

Stopped in for dinner at The Irish Harp after watching Anything Goes at the Shaw Festival (awesome show BTW). The food was excellent and so was the service! There were three of us, we had: bangers & mash, shepherds pie, corned beef w/ cabbage. Everything had great flavour! And I cant forget the very delicious sticky toffee pudding. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

The Irish Harp was buzzing—just like all of Niagara-On-The-Lake—during our visit! Despite being a large party of 17, the staff easily accommodated us, setting us up at two separate tables. My group was seated in a smaller, intimate study-like room, which was perfect for conversation. The food was delicious, and the service staff were truly top-notch. They checked on us frequently, ensured our needs were met, and cleared plates promptly. Plus, the restaurant has a fantastic location right on the main strip.

Not impressed. We went because the reviews said they had the best poutine. My husband said it was good. Can’t say the same about anything else. The Caesar salad was nay appetizing with all the brown lettuce. When asked if I was finished, no one asked if I liked it or if there was anything was wrong when they took a full salad away. I had the Mac n cheese it was ok at best. My husband and the fish and chips. Said the breading was chewy and not crispy. He pulled the breading off and ate the fish. He did say the tartar sauce was quite good. This was our least enjoyable meal we had in our trip. Clean gender neutral bathrooms. When we arrived there we available tables but were told people were coming in an hour and WE couldn’t be seated. However the people that came in right before us did not have a reservation and WERE seated. We had to sit outside which my husband hates.

Konzelmann Estate Winery is a top destination in Niagara-on-the-Lake, offering a range of wine experiences amidst scenic views of Lake Ontario. The winery provides educational tastings and tours, including unique options like vineyard dome tastings. With over 30 years of wine production, the estate is known for its outstanding Canadian wines and attention to the diverse mesoclimates within the region.
If you're in the Niagra-on-the-Lake region and looking for a good winery to visit and taste some fine wines, Konzelmann Estate Winery is definitely a great option to include on your itinerary. The winery already charms us with its structure, reminiscent of old winery castles, and right at the entrance, you have a view of the vibrant grape plantation. The location has its own parking lot, but it may be full, so check some nearby parking spots. For customers with disabilities, the location has no stairs to the store and tasting areas, and all reception is handled by staff, allowing for a smooth transition between areas. The restrooms are adapted to accommodate customers, so you can rest assured during your visit. If you plan to taste on-site, check by phone or social media to see if there are suitable times and days. The winery store is beautiful, featuring all the wines produced on-site, as well as other products. It's definitely worth including in your itinerary.

Konzelmann Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a picturesque retreat set amid sprawling vineyards, offering a serene and beautiful setting. The vintage-style building is stunning, both inside and out, exuding classic charm that enhances the overall experience. The wine is truly divine—rich, flavorful, and well-crafted. The tasting session was enjoyable, allowing us to savor some excellent selections. However, the experience was slightly marred when our assigned staff member left mid-tasting for their break, leaving us momentarily unattended. For a paid experience, better coordination would have been ideal. Despite this hiccup, Konzelmann Winery remains a lovely spot for wine lovers. Just be aware that while the vineyard views are gorgeous, there’s no access to walk among the vines. Still, a great visit overall.

I felt bad for underestimating this winery. You don’t usually see many varieties of red wine from Konzelmann at the LCBO, but their selection here truly impressed me. All the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our guide, Gabriella, was amazing — she knew so much about wine, had a great sense of humor, and even took beautiful photos of us. Thank you! I can’t wait to try the Malbec barrel-aged red — such a unique and complex taste, like a rainbow of flavors! It has so much more with a sip! Absolutely amazing experience.

Konzelmann Winery in Niagara on the Lake is absolutely beautiful! The view from the upstairs area is impressive. You can see the vineyards and the lake, making it the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. Their peach wine slushies are also amazing! Refreshing, fun, and perfect for a warm day. Cute little backyard area to sit. It's definitely worth a visit!

We did a tour and tasting. The view from the winery is beautiful. We could see the lake. Tour was okay. She was okay. I felt it’s rushed. It’s a crowded place. So many people were there come and go. We wanted to try other wine too but the staff was too busy to deal with us. Peach wine was tasty. We bought one. Konzelmann is good for the experience and short stop to sample.

What a great tasting, with the joyful Donna as our master tastery-teacher! She told so much that I have forgotten what to remember. What I do remember is why we visited: icewine! Absolutely great taste, not to winey, but more the liquor I wanted and expected. And the view from the Winery to Toronto: priceless! Konzelmann and Donna won me over. But also the other staff members. Lovely place and a joy also for non-drinkers like me!

Château des Charmes, founded in 1978 by Paul Bosc, is a picturesque winery with sprawling vineyards and a French-inspired ambiance. It was the first commercial vineyard in Canada to exclusively plant European grape varieties. The estate offers tours, tastings, and light fare amidst verdant surroundings. Additionally, it hosts elegant events featuring live music, delectable foods, and fine wines under a canopy tent.
Went July the 4th with 2 friends for tasting, charcuterie and chocolate. Great reception from the staff. We were assigned a lovely table by the vineyard inside the tent. We reserved for 6 Pm so we had 2 waiters to tend to us. Arthur and Noah both from France studying at Brock University added that French accent to the presentation and service. Both well mannered, knowledgeable about the wines, cheeses, meats and chocolates. Our guests were impressed since it was their first experience. We are members of Chateau des Charmes Wine Club and every visit is an adventure in tasting and enjoying the moment. Getting back in few week with more guests, hope to see these 2 lads soon. Thanks for a great day with you. Michel & Rémi

Beautiful property, very spacious and was nice and quiet when we visited. The staff were so lovely & extremely knowledgeable about the wines. We had booked the wine tasting and learnt a lot about each & what paired best with them. I especially want to thank Anywn - she was great, very attentive and made sure to keep checking if we needed anything. Offered to take our photos and just overall made us feel very welcome. She is a credit to your team! If you’re looking for a vineyard to visit, I would definitely recommend this one!

Our visit to Château des Charmes in Niagara on the Lake was a dream! It's the most peaceful and serene winery I've ever visited! We were lucky to be there on a gorgeous sunny day, and the backyard area was the perfect spot to unwind. Their big, comfy white leather couches made it easy to sit back with our drinks, relax, and enjoy every minute of quiet conversation surrounded by the picturesque setting. The gentleman who greeted us was truly made for his role. He was incredibly personable and professional. He did a fantastic job explaining all of our options when we arrived and guided us effortlessly through the experience. There are plenty of choices, from tastings and individual glasses to cocktails and mocktails. My mojito came out initially missing some mint and muddling, but they handled it beautifully. The bartender immediately made things right, remade the drink perfectly, and even comped it with a genuine smile. The kind of old school, attentive hospitality ( becoming increasingly rare these days), they absolutely excelled at it! Overall, Château des Charmes completely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, the people, and the impeccable attention to guests made for a memorable and relaxing afternoon. We’ll definitely be back!

Two Sisters winery becomes my favourite spot every time we visit NOTL. It’s a few minutes drive from downtown business area with very impressive grounds. So you drive in to the property you can see the grapevine on both sides of the driveway lead to gorgeous Italian style building that houses the wine teasing room and the restaurant. The restaurant has huge outdoor dining area that is facing the back vineyard that you can have a gorgeous sunset view. The menu is tight with nice options. Two Sisters Winery in Niagara on the Lake exudes elegance and sophistication. The property itself is stunning. The beauty of this vineyard truly lies in the details ✨️ They have a wonderful shop inside and a gorgeous outdoor patio that’s perfect for relaxing with drinks. You can also order food as well. Their boutique wine tastings must be booked in advance. For something more casual, there’s also a charming outdoor wine by the glass stand where you can sip and enjoy the scenery. Pairing the wine with some delightful gourmet chips-It's simply devine. We ended up taking the long route through the vineyard since it was such a beautiful day, though if you’re not wearing proper footwear, definitely take the shortcut to the left to avoid walking through the vines! Between the serene fountains, the breathtaking setting, and the exceptional wines, Two Sisters is a place I’d love to spend much more time at. A truly memorable Niagara on the Lake experience.

This is the vineyard where I proposed to my wife, and since then, we’ve made it a tradition to return every year for our anniversary dinner. It’s become such a meaningful place for us, and each visit only reinforces why we love it here. On our most recent visit, we sat on the patio with a full view of the vineyard, a truly serene and romantic setting. My wife started with a glass of the 2023 Riesling, then followed it up with the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. Both were fresh, bright, and paired beautifully with the meal. We began with the burrata and arancini, both were excellent. The burrata was served with Ontario peaches, which were perfectly ripe and sweet. We honestly wished we had more to share. The arancini were crisp on the outside and soft inside, a great contrast in texture. For mains, my wife had the rigatoni Bolognese, while I went with the mushroom pappardelle. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the portion sizes were generous. I even took some of mine home. Beyond the food and wine, the vineyard itself is stunning. It’s well-maintained with plenty of space to walk around and take photos. There’s also ample parking right out front, which is always appreciated. Expect to spend at least $100 per person for dinner, especially if you're enjoying wine with your meal. For the quality, setting, and experience, it’s absolutely worth it ! We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We also had the pretzel bites, pork belly nachos, smash burger and fish sandwich, honestly everything we ordered was a hit! And the waitress was absolutely amazing, highly recommend this place.

Shout out to Silversmith! These guys are simply one of the best craft breweries in the region and one of our favorite spots on a short weekend getaway. The atmosphere is genuinely lovely, a converted church to brewery. Clean wood, stone, metal, and white create a warm casual welcoming vibe. The service was warm, helpful, yet that cool edge which made you want to engage more. The beer alone is a reason to check them out, each style was executed properly and served well. The food I understand changes over time as a partnership, but on our occasion they had excellent partners, each dish we tried was delicious and complimented their beers well. This place is a true gem, I wished I lived closer!

We come every year for my husband's birthday weekend. The food and drinks have always been consistently good, however I HAD TO write this review about our experience yesterday because I am still so happy when I think back to my lunch . The Halloumi Eggplant Ciabatta sandwich and Blue Cod sandwich were so incredible they actually brought me to tears reminding me of my nonna's fried eggplant. This was by far the best meal we have had in Niagara in the past 7 years. If you are unsure what to order, either of these sammies are THE MOVE. Thank you to the kitchen staff, bar staff and our incredible server (I did not catch his name but he was a total sweetheart!) for not only a great meal but also friendly and comfortable service and atmosphere. You guys all truly rock!

Such a cool vibe! Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area especially for beer and wine taste testing. The Black Lager, Nut Brown Ale, Tropical Situation, Altar Ego, and Extra Special Bitter were what we tried and they were excellent! Food is superb here too. We started with the Whipped Feta which we tend to get a lot when it's available at different dispensaries and this one was easily one of the best we had. My Buffalo Chicken Burger was so delicious, crispy, and the Gorgonzola cheese added a lot to it as well. My wife ordered the Tofu Tacos which she enjoyed and liked even more when she added pickles that I didn't want from my burger. Wasn't as messy as she thought it was gonna be too! Our fries were nice and crispy and very well seasoned as well. Staff was excellent and gave great recommendations and we had great conversation with him. Again, highly recommend stopping here!

Silversmith Brewing Company is hands down one of the coolest brewery experiences I’ve had. It’s located inside an old church, which gives it this really unique, cozy vibe—especially on a cold day. The stained glass windows and church architecture add so much character, and I love how they carried that theme into their logo and overall aesthetic. They had a solid lineup of beers on tap, and the one that stood out to me the most was their Black Lager. I wasn’t expecting it to have those smooth coffee notes, but it totally hit the spot—super flavorful and easy to drink. The food menu surprised me in the best way. I ordered the fried chicken thigh sandwich, and wow—so juicy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Definitely way better than your average pub fare. What really sealed the deal, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they care about making sure you have a great time. If you’re in Ontario and love good beer, good food, and a chill, inviting atmosphere, definitely make a stop at Silversmith. It’s got that perfect blend of character, comfort, and quality that makes you want to come back.

Wonderful restaurant in a repurposed old church . Nice environment and food was delicious : had the fried chicken sando , the side salad was excellent too. Great change from the winery visits. Glad we stopped by !

Visit for lunch for four, Sunday, April 27, 2025. Ordered some beers, a.mixed dri k, Nachos, cheese / charcuterie and BLT sandwiches. Located in a former Lutheran Church built in about 1893. Brewery on site. May be some small challenges for those mobility impaired guests as there are a few steps into the Brewery and the washrooms are located downstairs. Beers were excellent as well as the food ordered. Ample parking available.

The winery's commitment to producing predominantly estate bottled wines has resulted in world-class products. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, including wine tastings, tours, and the opportunity to sample their award-winning ice wines.
Look for Ana!!! Super welcoming and knowledgeable. She’s a great guide in explaining the different ice wines they have that have won multiple awards. She even gave a great history of the company and how to make the ice wines. Best place to go for a wine tasting, no need to go anywhere else. The location is very charming.

Had an amazing wine tasting experience! Michael was super friendly and informative - he walked us through the different wines with food pairings. The location is right across from the lake which adds for a nice stroll after. I would highly recommend this winery!!

We discovered this winery on our last trip up here and had an amazing tasting and experience so we signed up for thier club membership. Since they cant mail to the US they are willing to hold our boxes for us until we can come up and pick them up (at no additional charge). We came up this week to pick up our month subscription boxes and had another lovely tasting, this time on the patio with thier wine slushies as well and thier amazing pulled pork pizza.

Found this cute winery with old barrels at the curb. Thought we'd check it out after the farmstead pointed us this way. Oh my.. the pulled pork pizza was yummy delicious. The flight was amazing. The slushy merlot was great... we both had a great first time thanks

While we were a bit disappointed that the sensory garden was closed for a private event during our first visit, our sommelier Michael made it a great experience. He tailored our tasting to our individual tastes, often making suggestions of wines he thought we would like or were a better option than what we selected. Next time we come to Reif, we'll definitely be making a reservation ahead of time based on how busy it was in the last hour.

This is a beautiful place to visit if you’re interested in learning about winemaking. They offer guided tours that take you through various parts of the property, providing insights into the entire wine production process. Tickets cost around $25 per adult and $15 per child. However, you might be able to find a $5 discount coupon on the Niagara Parks website—it’s worth checking online beforehand. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which adds to the overall positive experience. During the tour, they offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, making it suitable for all visitors. Inside the building, there’s a wide selection of wine bottles available for purchase. I highly recommend this place if you’re curious about how wine is made or simply want to explore a well-organized and informative winery.

It's such a beautiful little spot to visit. The food is incredible! The charcuterie, the chunky Greek salad, the pizza and the guilty burger, even without the bun. Delicious! And not too expensive! The one place untouched by inflation. We booked our wedding here 7 years ago, came back to visit and the prices are the exact same. Such underrated wine! The best wine in Canada. Everyone was impressed with the wine at our wedding, I always give it as gifts and people are floored. This unknown gem! And they've built it up so much! So much more places to sit and eat. Keep up the great work!

This has long been a favourite winery of mine, with a beautiful location along the parkway and a beautiful tasting room. I always enjoy the tastings because they have a great selection of wines and the service is always professional. But the disappointing part of my visit was my lunch on the patio. I ordered the leek soup, which was very good and the chicken sandwich. I found the sandwich practically un edible. It consisted of a large piece of chicken thigh, which was very fatty and had the skin, served on a cold bun. I would advise anybody who goes there not to order the chicken sandwich. As for me, I will go back to the winery, but that’s the last time I will eat at that restaurant.

Wayne Gretzky Estates is a renowned winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake that offers more than just wine. It also produces Canadian whiskies, spirits, and beer. The estate provides various experiences such as seated wine tastings, distillery tastings, tours, seasonal events, and even ice skating on their rink. Visitors can enjoy the large free parking area and capture memories at the wooden archway entrance.
My wife and her cousin and I went on the whisky tour then ate on the patio at the wine tasting area. The night before, I had picked up my wife and cousin after they spent the afternoon there. The staff kept saying, “welcome back”. lol Confession: I’m more of a whisky enthusiast and foodie than I am a hockey fan. I’m happy to report that I’m definitely a Wayne Gretzky fan after eating and Drinking at his establishment!!! The food was delicious and I was really impressed by the quality of the whisky they produce. No. 99 will be regular stop on our future visits to the area.

Fantastic pizza, delicous cold drinks..... From the second we came here we were greeted by the friendliest staff. Food service was super fast and the food was delicious. ( smoked meat pizza ) is my recommendation. It was perfect ❤ After a great lunch we all did a tour of the distillery..... A huge shout-out to LIAM! ( our tour guide ) what an amazing character, funny and extremely knowledgeable. Made the tour and the end of the afternoon so much fun. The tour was great, tried some delicious drinks and came out of there buying a bottle of the vanilla liqueur and a bottle of #99 whisky sour . Amazing place to spend a whole day eating, drinking and laughing. Can't wait to come back! Thank you Wayne Gretzky Estates! Wonderful memories have been made here.

We visited Wayne Gretzky Estates for a tasting in the Club Room and had such a great time. Our server, Lisa, was fantastic! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and really made the experience feel special. The tasting itself was excellent, and to top it off we ended with a round of cocktails. The highlight was a fun little murder mystery game that actually earned us a free cocktail for our next visit. Such a unique and memorable touch! Can’t wait to come back.

Wayne Gretzky Estates Niagara-on-the-Lake is unlike any winery I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere was so relaxed and genuinely family-friendly, which is something I’ve never experienced on a wine tour before. It almost felt like a big park in the back, where adults could sip wine and cocktails while kids played and enjoyed the space. The shop was really cool, filled with classic hockey photos and Gretzky memorabilia. I loved the casual, upbeat vibe of the whole place. There’s also a restaurant on-site, which I didn’t get a chance to try this time, but it looked great. I heard there’s even a skating rink in the winter, which sounds amazing! Overall, it was alive, happening, and just a fun place to be, especially for families.

As wine club members, my wife and I visit Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery a couple of times a year. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are always friendly. We recently took the cocktail making class, which was a fantastic experience thanks in part to our instructor, Ken. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made sure the class was fun for all. We made three cocktails (each more delicious than the last). Highly recommend stopping by Wayne Gretzky Estates if you are in the area, sign up for the cocktail class with Ken if available, it's a perfect complement to their wine tasting.

Fun tour to do while in niagara on the lake. The tasting was enjoyable trying red and white wine along with their famous whiskey and whiskey cream. Delicious! They also provided a discount on bottles at the shop after completion of the tour. The restaurant was also pretty good just wish it had abit more shade.

We have come many times and has almost become a tradition to stop here at Wayne Gretzky's to pay homage to the great one and to stock up some of his wines. Today we did a tasting and really liked the ice wine and whiskey . The beauty of doing a taste and gives you a discount at the store!
DR. T — Google review
Canadian wine isn't really my thing, but I enjoyed a pleasant enough visit to Wayne Gretzky Estate winery on a recent trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The wine is downright bad (I am sorry to say this, but I would call it completely undrinkable), but the grounds and setting of the winery is top notch. Wayne knows what the people want, and he delivers - just not in the category of tasty wine. The winery itself is modern and welcoming. As a hockey fan, I especially appreciated all of the memorabilia of Wayne's record-breaking days as a professional athlete in the NHL. Take some time to browse so you can see it all. Also, be sure to check out the well-curated gift shop, which features some cute hockey and wine themed merchandise. We arrived in the evening without a reservation, and luckily the hostess said she could find a space for us. The tasting room was very busy, but we had a high top table for two. I noticed the clientele was mostly female / groups of women who looked like those "see and be seen" type of ladies, all decked out in designer shoes and handbags with perfect makeup and hair. This is a great place for a girls' night out, with its welcoming yet chic atmosphere. We opted for two different tastings from the menu so we could have a nice variety of wines. We chose a range from white, reds, and dessert wines, and there was absolutely nothing to our liking. We were also hungry and I was delighted they had a modest food menu (we ordered the warm baguette with whipped maple whisky butter for $10) which was tasty enough, if not Earth shattering). The tasting itself was just okay. The service was prompt and our knowledgeable hostess answered all of our questions (but wasn't much on small talk). The major problem I had is that she was doused in stinky perfume. This is a huge no-no at a winery, and whenever she came by to check on us or to deliver something to a nearby table, all I could smell was her perfume. It's not that it smelled rank or anything, but it really did interfere with the taste of the wine. The wines were very low quality, and I couldn't bring myself to take more than two tastes of each one. I guess if I had to drink something it would be the dessert wine, which was creamy yet the overpowering maple is definitely an acquired taste. Note that tastings are pricey and bottles are as well. There's a separate bar for tasting spirits and a stunning outdoor patio area if you want to come and hang a while. I'd definitely return here for the grounds and setting alone, but I'm going to pass on the wine.

Our bus tour stopped here in the afternoon. What a unique and beautiful attraction! They change out the flowers twice a year for the season. The huge clock hands move over the flowers on the “face” of the clock. The bell tower chimes every 15 minutes.

Such a lovely surprise! We had a chill picnic right beside this beautifully manicured giant clock, and it made for the perfect backdrop. The nearby monuments added a nice historic touch to the visit, and the pond at the foot of the clock? Full of koi fish gliding around like they were putting on a show. Peaceful, scenic, and a great spot to slow down and enjoy the moment. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area!

We were worried that no more flowers by the time we visit( thanksgiving - 2025 ) . But its still in full bloom. Love how the clock rings every 15 min. There is a trail to walk or bike , we walked 3 km to reach this spot. D

Nice and unique place a floral arrangement clock running on original products from 1960 it’s free to visit it’s located in the last tourist attractive part of Niagara Falls so even though some crowds are there it’s not as bad as like on theclassic spots From this point you can go on to see different parks and Power stations so if you’re in the neighbourhood or are you tourist It’s definitely worth your time Also don’t forget to go around the clock to see the mechanism.

Corks Wine Bar & Eatery is a charming urban pub located at 19 Queen St. It offers a variety of comfort food options, including their popular fish 'n' chips, and features a selection of local wines. The establishment also provides covered outdoor seating for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the area around Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake boasts other delightful dining options such as Pieza Pizzeria and The Olde Angel Inn, which offers an English-style pub experience.
We drove down to Niagara-On-The-Lake on a weeknight for a change… it’s a different vibe for sure! The restaurant was quite busy still but we did not have wait for a table on their beautiful patio. Ryan, our server was energetic, polite, and attentive! The ambiance of the patio in the early evening is magical. Thankfully there were no bugs and the street was quiet. We tried the Hamburger and the Chicken Club. Both were great portions and very delicious! We’ll definitely be back!!

Corks was interesting. It has a gorgeous patio and lovely staff, and food wise it has lots of options. Pictured is the maple glazed salmon and carbonara. The salmon dish was spectacular and beautifully presented. Tasted fantastic and had great portion sizes. The carbonara was a bit lacking. It was more of an Alfredo than a carbonara .. but potentially getting a pasta dish at a place known for its fish and chips was on me. The patio alone however makes this place worth going to. I would certainly come back here and try other dishes as well.

We ordered takeout from this place and were really impressed with the fish and chips—they were delicious, and the portion size was generous. A nice surprise was the 10% discount on takeout orders, which we didn’t know about beforehand. The server was super friendly and very helpful, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed our lunch at the park on the picnic tables, and the combination of great food and a relaxing atmosphere made it perfect. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

Broad menu, nice food, and generous portions. The appetizers were particularly appealing. I think a nice meal could be had enjoying several appetizers. Nice environment for dining with a great sound track playing in the background. Service was polite, perhaps a little slow but once the order was taken the the food came in reasonable time.

A perfect choice for our late lunch. We were a.party of six and everyone enjoyed their meal, wine and beer. Poutine was so good, the gravy is perfect. Fish and chips were fresh. The butternut squash ravioli were yummy. Make sure you get the ice wine shots for dessert.
Jennifer R — Google review
We had a rather disappointing experience here. As soon as we sat down and started looking at the menu, three different servers came up to us one after the other, asking for our order — without giving us any time to decide. We had to repeat to all three that we were still reviewing the menu. We ordered the fish and chips and a hamburger. The fries served with both dishes were extremely dry and overcooked. The fish itself was just okay — nothing special, just passable. The burger, unfortunately, was quite bad. I don’t think I would order it again. We also ordered a Coke, which was served in a very small glass, half-filled with ice. It didn’t seem like it came from a bottle or can, and I would’ve much preferred an unopened branded Coke. Later, we asked for tap water, but instead of bringing the water, they brought us the bill — even though we hadn’t requested it yet. The tap water never arrived. The only pleasant part of our visit was the patio — it’s a nice space, and the main reason I decided to sit down despite some of the reviews I had read beforehand. But honestly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Ezgi T — Google review
We ate on the terrace just as the sun was setting and they brought out lamps for each table that really set the mood! Melany was our server and she went above and beyond with recommendations and service! If we loved closer, this would be a weekly date night spot!

Overall, my experience at Corks was very good. It was perfect for a Friday night dinner! We ordered calamari, mussels, and a lobster sandwich - they were all amazing! If you’re a fan of calamari, definitely get it here! The vibe on the patio was exactly what we were looking for.

A good surprise! I was thinking "they are a LCBO wine" but I discoreved that exclusive labels here. I tasted the best ice wine until now in my tour (4 wineries). The best knowledge of the world with Yvonne in the shop. She teached me many tips to taste and make Wonderful cooktails. It wasn't my intention but I left the place with a ice wine and a good sparkling to repeat this experience in my home. Congratulations Yvonne and Jackson-Triggs.

Delicious wine and average food in a beautiful setting. Ordered the porkbelly sandwich which was not properly trimmed as there was more fat than meat. The sandwich eventually disintegrated as it was so greasy and I ended up using a knife and fork to finish. When our server asked how our food was and we mentioned the amount of fat, the server only replied sorry about that. When our table was being cleared, a different staff member asked how how lunch was and when we mentioned the amount of fat (and showed the left over fat on the plate), he also just said sorry and indicated that pork belly is like that. In hind sight, I should have asked for a little bowl of pork to replace the fat, but that is on me and a lesson learned for the future. Definitely a great place to have a drink, service was friendly (maybe unsure of handle issues).

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary trip to Niagara, and even our Uber driver told us how popular this place was, he said he brings people here all the time, so I was already super excited! When we arrived, Stevie welcomed us right away, and even though I had booked the wrong date 😅, he was so kind and accommodating. He still managed to set us up for a tour without any issue. Our tour guide, Doug, honestly made the entire experience unforgettable. He was super chill, funny, and so knowledgeable. The tour felt really personal, and he made sure we had time to take pictures and enjoy every part of it, he was incredibly patient with us. Later on, we also met Nick, who was just as amazing, so friendly, cheerful, and welcoming! Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and one of the biggest highlights of our trip. If you plan on doing a tour, if you can, definitely request Doug to be your tour guide, he’s the best! Oh, and don’t skip the ice wine, it’s delicious!

We received the wine tour and tasting for two as part of the hotel package. And it is amazing. We had a great time here. Our tour guide is informative. During the tour, we get to taste 4 different types of their product. After the tour, we ordered some food in their dining area and got more tasting. The staff is very patient and helpful when we struggle which wine to choose for tasting. She gave good info of each type and help us by asking our preference. The cheese board and mushroom soup look very appealing and delicious. We love it!

Terrible customer service. We went to see Dwayne Gretzky, the last of the summer concert series of 2025 so you would think they had all the bugs worked out. Nope. We tried to buy a bottle of wine to consume in their courtyard prior to the show and were sent from the outdoor line up (which we waited in), to the tasting room, which she also said no even after being sent there by the lady outside. We were then sent to the bar at the restaurant who tried to send us back to the tasting room, until I told them the fiasco. Who knew it would be so hard to get a bottle of wine at a winery? We chose the bottle and noticed it was $10 more from the bar than from the tasting room. We enquired and were told it was a corking fee. I have never, ever had a corking fee from a winery when they are opening their own product! Ridiculous, total money grab. Then a bit later we lined up again at the outdoor kiosk to get a couple cans of cider, told to go in to the bar again. Got into the bar to order cans of cider, they only had one can available. All the staff were frazzled, stressed and frankly terrible. I would never go here again for a tasting, meal or event (even though Dwayne Gretzky killed it)! Disorganized, cranky staff and a corking fee for their own bottles is a hard no from me, here on out. PS the actual event staff, in the red shirts were freaking amazing! So fun, friendly, helpful, we loved interacting with them! We especially loved Anne, with an e, she was THE BEST!!

Had a great time visiting Inniskillin! It was our first time coming here and we were very impressed. The property is beautiful. There's an area for the restaurant as well as the winery - which is what we came for. The wine selection is fantastic! You can order per glass or try one of their sampling options that give you multiple drinks. The showstopper was the Icewine! Wow! Absolutely delicious. The staff is great and super helpful. We didn't feel rushed or silly asking questions about the wine. Inside the winery, they have a nice size retail area with all the wines available for purchase as well as other gift type items. Would definitely recommend Inniskillin if you're touring the area! Grab a glass or flight and enjoy a beautiful day outside on the property.

I recently visited Inniskillin Winery in Niagara Falls, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The winery is spacious with a beautiful setup and a stunning location, perfect for enjoying a day out. They offer an impressive selection of wines, and I had the chance to sample some truly great ones during our tasting. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. I went with friends from out of town and even from overseas, and we all had a fantastic time exploring, tasting, and soaking in the atmosphere. My pup and I had a wonderful visit to Inniskillin Wines. The property is beautifully maintained with plenty of seating options—tables and lounge chairs outside, plus air-conditioned indoor seating that was perfect on a hot day. I especially appreciated how dog-friendly the staff and winery are, both inside and out. I did a tasting of all three ice wines, which costs $40, and learned a lot about their production. If you spend over $50 on wines, then you get $10 off your tasting. Although we didn’t have time to eat, the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making it easy to see why this winery has such a great reputation.

The reputable Inniskillin Winery is worth a visit. An hour long tour with wine tasting cost $30, on a first come first serve basis. The tour ticket gets you a $10 discount on any wine purchase. We visited today and found out that their signature Gold Vidal Icewine was on sale with $10 off. Along with the $10 discount from the tour, with a total of $20 discount, which was a very good deal.

Came for lunch and did a tasting. Food was good, service was good, wine was good, so nothing to complain about. I had the peach burger and my husband had the brisket sandwich (peach burger was our favourite). Of all the wines, the sparkling ice wine was most interesting that we left with a bottle.

An iconic stop for ice wine lovers. Our first winery stop in the region. We arrived shortly after opening and found a few groups already sipping wine on the lawn. Plenty of parking, and unlike some other wineries in the area, no drawn-out tours or gimmicky tastings. Just a straightforward, well-run setup. We went with their standard three-wine tasting ($25–$30 depending on the selections), which allowed two dry wines and one ice wine. Since it was still early in the day, we didn’t want to start with an all-sugar lineup. Inniskillin is a pioneer in Canadian ice wine and Gold Vidal was where it first started. So of course, we tried their signature Gold Vidal, which was described as bright and peach-forward. Unfortunately, we found the sweetness a bit overpowering. Our favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Wine. Still rich and sweet but with a touch of red fruit depth that made it more tolerable. All the dry wines we tried were relatively mundane. Nice bonus: tastings come with discounts on wine purchases over a certain amount. Since we picked up a few bottles, we got $20 off our total (just over $100).

I have tried their wine a few times on restaurant menus over the years, but it was my first time visiting. Lovely winery, friendly staff and beautiful grounds with a picturesque patio. Did a tasting, the standout by far was the Vidal Icewine, this is the best I’ve ever tasted, perfectly balanced, sweet but not overly sweet and not too syrupy like some others I’ve tried. So good I bought 2 bottles, can’t wait to enjoy!

Located in the heart of Niagara, Il Gelato di Carlotta brings the authentic taste of Italian gelato to Canada. The family-run establishment prides itself on using top-quality ingredients and traditional methods to create a wide variety of flavors without any artificial additives. Visitors can indulge in a diverse menu featuring breakfast pastries, butter tarts, and savory pies from Niagara Home Bakery.
Stopped by Il Gelato di Carlotta today for a cappuccino and loved it. The coffee was delicious, and the space is beautiful—bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed in white and yellow tones. It’s also air-conditioned, which was a great bonus on a warm day. I really appreciated the artwork on display by local artists—such a nice touch and a great way to support the community. Tip: they do have a bathroom, just ask the staff for the key. Can’t wait to come back and try the gelato next

We had a great experience! The ice cream was delicious, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and they also offer fresh baked goods and pastries. The service was friendly and efficient. It’s perfectly located right in the heart of downtown, and the setting is cozy and welcoming. A lovely stop for a sweet break — I definitely recommend it!

What a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy fabulous cappuccino with a croissant! This place is such a gem as they make their own baked goods with traditional values and proudly serving their authentic Italian baked goods. And the coffee! So damn good! Your taste buds will enjoy the feast of flavours from chocolate to almond, pistachio, hazelnuts… their gelatos are as sinful! If you love freshly baked goods and enjoy richness mixed with light pastry, this is the place to visit! They are also offering vegan and gluten free as well as sugar free options. I can’t wait to visit your shop again!

Amazing to see the new space! Everyone was amazingly kind and generous as always. I was sad I wouldn’t be able to get my walker into the building, but seeing the new space I got it up and didn’t feel like I was using so much space. I am impressed with the staff and of course the food. I ate my food before I could take a photo! Oh no. lol. Again amazing. I had a double affogato with after 8 ice cream and a lemon croissant. I might stay longer and try a soup! I can’t wait to try the Port Dulhousie space soon! Ok so I stayed for some pasta. lol. And a tart for later. A small serving but a serving that was delicious. So impressed.

Absolutely delicious gelato! The flavors are so authentic and creamy, just like in Italy. Every scoop tastes fresh and made with love. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere makes it such a nice spot to stop by. The Garrison House is a laid-back gastropub in Niagara-on-the-Lake, offering a variety of globally inspired small plates, burgers, and entrees. While they don't accept reservations, it's a popular spot for families with kids. The restaurant celebrates Canadian ingredients and offers 10% off on all takeout orders.
We found this place after searching for a good restaurant in the area, and we’re so glad we did…We were starving and needed a solid meal and that’s exactly what we got. Hurray The food was amazing….everything was packed with flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and had that homemade touch. I got the steak spot on.the others had burgers and fish, and everyone left happy. Service was just as great. The host was super friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The vibe was cozy but classy, perfect for a chill meal. Plus, the place was spotless—clean tables, floors, even the bathrooms. From starters to drinks, everything hit the mark. Definitely recommend, especially if you’re visiting Niagara Falls. Just a quick 30-minute drive and totally worth it.

Friendly restaurant with a clean and modern interior, and exceptional service. Sadly the food doesn't stand out and wasn't consistently good. I had the Cesar salad as an appetizer, which was excellent, but the Black Lager Cottage pie was quite small and had more potato than filling. In our group, the calamari was excellent but then the batter on the fish and chips was thick, dense and had soaked up a lot of oil. Additionally the tofu was also very dense and hard to enjoy. While our food experience was hit and miss, I do have to recognize the service, which was exceptional.

Had a really nice experience at The Garrison House in Niagara on the Lake. Their Lamb Shoulder dish was excellent…everything you want in a dish like this, really tender with amazing flavours. For dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding…Yum! Best I’ve had outside of England (and my grandma’s, of course) 😉 Big thank you to Margaret, our server, for a wonderful experience. 💕

An Unforgettable Dining Experience in the heart of wine country in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. Dining at this exceptional restaurant is an experience that seamlessly combines the beauty of the Canadian countryside with exquisite culinary craftsmanship. We were met by our server "Sheridan" who was helpful with wine selections paring with our main courses. Soup of the the day was spectacular and you must try their "Striploin". Smoked salmon appetizer was a great start to the meal. This fine dining establishment offers more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of local flavors and heritage.

Such a lovely birthday dinner! All the food was amazing and the server was so friendly and attentive. The wine was great! I especially loved the house made hot sauce and the fritto misto. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely want to go back. The dessert was very good- all the food was properly portioned and very satisfying

Fantastic service from Jared! The food was superb. Honestly, very likely the best burger we ever had due to the meat quality, ratio of fat and the way it was cooked. Medium and perfectly charred. Fries were great. Sticky toffee pudding exceptional. The beer I had, Double IPA from a local brewery (Beaus) with orange and pineapple, superlative. Great experience. Would definitely come back here.

Niagara Oast House Brewers is a must-visit craft brewery in Niagara On The Lake, conveniently located near popular wineries. The big red Oast House barn is easily recognizable and houses a variety of constantly rotating taps, including the popular Barn Raiser pale ale. However, the main draw here is their Farmhouse Ale Collection, featuring favorites like Saison and Darkass Ale. Visitors can also enjoy entertainment such as ping pong while savoring their premium farmhouse ales.
Niagara Oast House Brewers is a must-visit in Niagara-on-the-Lake, especially if you love craft beer. Housed in a big red barn, it’s got a cool, vibe with plenty of character. I had the ‘Tequila Lime Gose’, and it was smooth and refreshing, they always have a great selection of seasonal brews to try. One of the best parts of the experience is being greeted by Anna, whose energy and warmth make you feel right at home. Her enthusiastic “Welcome!” and “What’ll you have?” set the tone the moment you walk in, making every visit feel like catching up with an old friend. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Oast House is a fun, casual place to grab a drink and unwind. Try any one of their fantastic Patina Pizzas. You will not be disappointed!

If you're planning a trip to Niagra or Niagra-on-the-Lake, one of the breweries to add to your itinerary is Oast House Brewers. The brewery is located on one of the main routes for those coming to or from Niagra-on-the-Lake, with a beautiful structure and a space that truly resembles a country house. Upon arrival, there's a quick parking lot for those who just want to visit the store, and for those who want to use the restaurant and spend time at the brewery, there's a larger parking lot, including large spaces for disabled customers. As you enter, you'll find the store area, with various products for sale, a beer tap area, and restaurant tables. At the back, you'll find the restrooms and a pool table. They have a room upstairs, which is usually used for events but also serves the public. The outdoor area has a bar, tables, and a view of the farm, which is truly beautiful. For guests with disabilities, almost all areas of the establishment have access ramps for wheelchairs, walkers, and canes, as well as accessible bathrooms. The prices are good, especially when it comes to craft beer. The brewery is pet-friendly, so during the spring, summer, and fall, your pet will be welcome in the outdoor area.

Although I've purchased Oast's beers at the LCBO many times, this was my first in-person visit. We went in the front (retail location and bar) and the lady there was so friendly and chatty. Very informative about the area as well as all of the products offered here. We purchased some items to take home, then went around the back, to the outside bar by the vineyard. There are fewer beer choices on tap here (compared to the inside taps) and when we arrived mid-afternoon, all seats were in the sun. I didn't love that there are no prices (anywhere that we could see, inside or out) but 2 beers ordered outside came to $20 even. They have a kitchen but today (Monday afternoon in May) the kitchen was not open. All in all, an enjoyable visit!

I have to make a special trip to come back again . I went to this park yesterday because we joined a day trip tour to the Niagara-on-the-Lake and we were there to have lunch at the restaurant. Only have time to take a few photos of the Brock's Monument, didn't have time to see the whole park. I can see good children playground, beautiful flowers and trees, over looking the Niagara River . Should be very beautiful in the Falls.

Located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake's Old Town heritage district, The Exchange Brewery is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts. Situated on Queen Street, this premium brewery offers a wide array of delicious beers, including staples like New England IPA and Peppercorn Rye Saison, as well as unique rotating taps such as Thai basil brew and apricot wheat.
We spent a lot of our time at the exchange brewery while we were in Niagara on the Lake. My husband enjoyed their variety of beers and I enjoyed the cider! Their food is also amazing. We tried the pizza, double decker turkey BLT and the variety of popcorn to snack on. Staff was very nice and let us watch some games on their TV upstairs. It was pretty rainy during our time in town so it was great to find a spot we both enjoyed to spend some time at!

We hosted our wedding reception at the Exchange Brewery in June 2025 and our experience was top-notch. In the months leading up to the event, Rajat was incredibly helpful with all our questions, and he was on top of all the little details. On the day of the reception, the staff were all very attentive, hardworking, and professional. We ended up having a slight issue with the food we had catered in, but the Exchange staff were all over it and helped me come up with solutions and options. Coming from out of town and not knowing the Niagara-on-the-Lake area too well, that was really appreciated. The brewery was perfect for our party - very central to downtown NOTL, a good amount of seating for our 60ish guests, and great selection of drinks and unique beers. It's a beautiful space (especially on the patio area surrounded by trees) and we got a lot of compliments on the party from our guests. We would definitely recommend the Exchange Brewery to anyone looking for a memorable venue!
Kinsey B — Google review
It was a disappointing experience for us . There are not much option in the area so we sat than in this place thinking they should have good beer considering it’s a brewery. We ordered the big pitcher and nachos . It was a pilsner but tasted like a bad ipa. Nachos was a big portion but one of the worse I ever tried. Literally boiled chicken thrown on top with zero flavour . Jalapeños had no taste. I won’t recommend this place personally .
Devesh S — Google review
It’s good… I think the beer was good, with a wide selection. The food was good as well with standard pub fare (with some extras). I think the ambience is okay, they made it a modern - sports bar kind of theme. For a brewery like this I would ordinarily want to see something more personal, less cold. Overall though when in the area if they have availability it’s a good spot to get some drinks and food.

Local brewery on main street NOTL, you won’t miss it. You can have a quick drink for try the beers or dinner at upstairs. Fresh made pizza recommended to pair with their beers. You can walk around their well decorated brewery. They offer tours and patio in summer too.

We had our Korean wedding dinner/ceremony here two weeks ago and from start to finish, was a perfect day. Rajat the manager, helped us with the planning and coordination probably about a year in advance. He helped set the menu, the pricing, the tables/floor set up, the timing/scheduling of the event etc. He might as well have been our wedding planner! So easy and wonderful and friendly to work with. Being from Toronto, all our planning took place via email and he was very responsive and helpful. The day of, him and his entire staff were amazing. One of his staff even wrote the names of the dishes in Korean writing (which my family absolutely loved!!). They just went above and beyond for my family and my husbands family, most of which were visiting from other countries. The staff were so respectful to us and even knew a lot about Korean culture and foods which made my family even more happy. We felt so welcomed and the service was impeccable. Thank you Rajat and team!

McFarland House, nestled in a serene park-like setting, is a historic gem dating back to the 1800s. Constructed by John McFarland and his sons on land granted by King George III, it stands as one of the few pre-War of 1812 buildings in Niagara-on-the-Lake. During the war, it served as a hospital and army headquarters for both British and American forces. The house also housed a cannon battery aimed at protecting the Niagara River.
McFarland house is located on Niagara Parkway directly on the Niagara river which forms the international boundary between Canada and the United States. Lewiston, New York is directly visible from the property. The home is meticulously maintained and is part of many guided, group tours. The surrounding park has trails, park benches as well as picnic tables, which makes it a great spot to spend time with family and friends and have a barbecue. There are many wineries located in close proximity. Paid parking is available and an admissions ticket is required Absolutely the historic piece of Canadian history. Definitely worth a visit.

We went for the afternoon tea. The grounds are beautiful and the tea room is an elegant. Glassed in area. The 3 tier plate that accompanies the tea includes sandwiches, scones, and various small cakes. The cranberry and blueberry scones were great. The sandwiches and cakes were fine, nothing outstanding. Service was very good.

We visited the McFarland House, Friday July 25 th. Our visit started in the opulent gardens which were such a treat. They were a combination of Country English Garden that combined a fully versatile Kitchen Garden. What a world of abundance we would live in if we all planted with so much purpose and beauty. As we entered the house there were three hosts were bubbling around. They were full of so much joy and laughter. We signed up for a tour of the house to learn about the McFarland House, John McFarland and his family. That house had interesting features including the brickwork and the methods applied in building the house. Very interesting to anyone in construction or architecture. The guide highlighted many original features including peek holes into the original paints. The main stairway which was ahead of its time. The original locking mechanism on the front door. To one of the original cast iron heaters. Upstairs they have set up the main bedroom, a child’s bedroom, a servants room (Which in all likelihood would not have been in the main house.) and as the house was used as a hospital during the war of 1812 there was a soldiers room. This area is ripe in history especially of the war of 1812. It is the focus of the tour. My only disappointment was there was no mention of the history of of our First Nations and how this land came to be in the possession of the McFarlands. Not to takeaway from the families history. Yet to honour the history of these lands and how our country came to be. Our tour was about 45 mins. We had some wonderful conversations with our tour guide and shared some trips down memory lane. We were able to share living history of seeing some of the artifacts in use in our families homes. My Great Grandmother used a chamber pot and a bed warmer her passing in 1979. My Great Aunt always used a wash stand in her bedroom til early 1980’s There was a clay pipe similar to the one my husband had til 2020. We were then fortunate to stay for High Tea in their beautiful Tea Room in the Conservatory. They were served by the tour guides in period dress. The sandwiches were watercress, cucumber and turkey. The scones cheese and chive, berry and plain with jam , cream and butter. Finished with an assortment of desserts and fruits. You have a selection of teas to enjoy. We loved the Scottish Breakfast Tea. I indulged in a mimosa. My only regret was not taking a picture of the Lady with the Pearls. We are making plans to return for the Murder Mystery event they offer. Accessibility of the fist floor was great. Sadly being a period home the 2nd floor would not be available to wheel chair users. I left my walker used my cane and they did provide spots to sit along the way. If you wish to have high tea I would recommend reservations.

The McFarland House was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! The historic charm, lush gardens, and beautifully maintained grounds created the most romantic atmosphere for our special day. From the moment we arrived, it felt timeless and intimate — like we had stepped into a fairytale. The natural beauty of the property meant we hardly needed extra décor, and every spot was picture-perfect for photos. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how stunning and unique the venue was. The staff was also wonderful and ensured everything went smoothly. We are so grateful to have had such a magical place to begin our married life — it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Nestled between two trees adjacent to Walkers Country Market, the Living Water Wayside Chapel is a delightful gem that has captured hearts since its establishment in 1964. This pint-sized chapel proudly holds the title of the world's smallest chapel, making it an intriguing stop for visitors exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Blink and you’ll miss it, but don’t. This tiny white church is pristinely maintained with ample roadside parking. We couldn’t squeeze inside, it was already full with 6 visitors! So we snapped photos outside and still felt the charm. Perfect pit stop for quirky pictures and a moment of calm. Five stars for upkeep and uniqueness.

It’s a serene spot to pause, reflect, and take some lovely photos. Definitely worth a quick visit if you’re in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area! Not so crowded and evenings are the best and apple picking nearby is an add-on to your trip. Additionally, you can see a lot of winery farms nearby.

This is probably a must-see attraction in the Niagara region😍The smallest church in the world⛪——The living water wayside chapel⛪ It is the smallest church in the world that is still open to the public⛪. It is no different from other churches⛪ except for its small size. You can worship and pray here🙏🏻, and even hold a special and romantic ceremony here. Wedding💒(If you hold a wedding here💒, you also need to make an appointment in advance. Why is it special to hold a wedding here? Because if you hold a wedding here, you can receive a special commemorative certificate issued by the local department.) There are only a few rows of double seats inside the entire church, which can accommodate no more than 12 people at most. Although it is small, it is really well-equipped and not small as it should be. This is what makes it special. 😎 ⏰About the opening hours: In fact, it does not have specific opening hours, but it is basically open if you go during the day, because it is right on the roadside, so please feel free to go. ⏰ 🎫About church tickets: This is free🆓 to visit, no tickets are required, and no advance reservation is required. 🎫 🚘About transportation: 1️⃣If you start from the Great Falls, there is no bus, but you can buy shared bicycles over there🚲. I see that many people come here on shared bicycles🚵🏻‍♂️, and the one-way trip is about 20 kilometers. (It’s very comfortable to ride along the Niagara River from the Great Falls, because it has a separate cycling lane, and the scenery along the way is also great. I really recommend riding here slowly. 👍🏻) 2️⃣Self-driving, it takes about 20 minutes to drive from the waterfall. Parking🅿️Just park directly behind this church⛪, it's free. 🚘 🏞️About the vicinity of the church: There is a farm next to and behind the church, where you can buy fresh produce or pick peaches🍑, strawberries🍓, apples🍎, grapes🍇 and other seasonal fruits. (The ice cream here🍦 is also good, most of the ingredients come from their own farm.)🏞️ ⚠️The church⛪ is on the way to Niagara on the lake. If you go to the town of Niagara, remember to enter the navigation 📍 in advance on the map 🗺️, then you will not miss this special church ⛪! ⚠️

The smallest church in Canada. Truly small ☺️, only has five seats.

A wonderful little church in a beautiful location. This was one of the most adorable and well maintained tiny churches I've ever visited. It was really amazing to see how many people from across the entire world have visited this place!

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum, originally a high school built in 1806 and later transformed into a museum by the Niagara Historical Society, offers an immersive experience into the history of the town and its communities. Through engaging programs and exhibitions like 'Bound and Determined,' visitors can gain an appreciation for local history. The town itself, with its population of 17,500 people, is a serene escape from the bustling cities of Toronto and Niagara Falls.
The museum is well organized and holds many recovered relics, in spite of the many items that would have been destroyed over the years. There are two levels to the museum and it includes a small gift area. Parking for an RV is a challenge as most of the limited street parking is taken up early in the day. Parking for RVs is more spacious in nearby Veterans Park, which works if you don't mind doing a bit of walking.
Penny S — Google review
It’s okay for the price ($5 as of today), but it feels like it lacks storytelling or a cohesive theme. The exhibits seem a bit scattered, and a stronger narrative could make the experience more engaging and immersive.

Small however pretty positive and curious local museum to discover life of area founders! Recommended!

One of the oldest local history museums in Canada. Beautiful building and a very well curated collection. They are expanding into the property next door which should allow them to display even more of their expansive collection. Very nice staff. Worth a stop in during a visit to NOTL!
Greg G — Google review
I didn't know that NOTL had a museum. We went when it was open doors. I enjoyed the tour, and hearing about some local history. I absolutely loved history through the ERAS, a take on Taylor Swift lyrics. Absolutely genius.

Located inside the Historic Old Town, Niagara on the Lake Museum offers the rich history of the whole Niagara region. Would recommend to visit it during the weekdays because sometimes you explore the place all by yourself. Admission is 5 dollars for adults.

I have visited Niagara-on-the-Lake many times, saw the sign for the museum, but drove right by. This time I decided to follow the sign and discovered this lovely museum located in an old house with beautiful gardens. Outside there is a rose Bush called "1812" as well as a terrace with historical cutouts. Inside there is a lovely small gift store as well as historical exhibits of clothes, items and a dress up section for kids. Now they are highlighting when the Polish trained in NOTL around the 1st world war. Highlight for me was to see the hat that Sir Issac Brock wore.

Nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Lailey Winery has been an integral part of the region's winemaking heritage for over 40 years. Initially established as grape growers in 1973, they transitioned into winemaking in 2000 and have since perfected their craft. The winery is conveniently located just a short drive from the iconic Niagara Falls and historic Old Town, offering visitors a picturesque setting surrounded by lush vineyards.
My husband and I popped in here 30 minutes to close on Friday and we were treated with such kindness from the lady at the counter. Service was wonderful and the wines were excellent! We walked away with a case of wine that I’m excited to enjoy back at home. I highly recommend the BRUT sparkling wine and my husband loved the Chardonnays.

First time at a winery on July 5, 2025. I’m so glad I chose this place to be my first experience. My husband and I stopped in and enjoyed a flight tasting and then chose one of the ones that I enjoyed as a glass as well. The weather was beautiful, so I enjoyed my glass outside in their Outdoor seating while enjoying the music. The young man that served us was very knowledgeable, explaining the process how different wines were made and was very kind. I really enjoyed trying ice wine for the first time! We plan to return next summer with the family.

After a recent trip to NOTL, Lailey Winery has become my favourite in the region! The wines are far superior to the others I have tried and I have to say our experience with Keith was 11/10. He was so knowledgeable and kind, the perfect host!! Lailey are lucky to have such a talent on their team. Will definitely be back!

I highly recommend Lailey winery. The staff were knowledgeable. They have an excellent selection of regional wines. The ice wine was comparable to any of the larger wineries in the area and the buy two get one free was the best value I found.

Ryerson Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a hidden gem, offering stunning sunset views of the Toronto skyline. Nestled at the end of Niagara Boulevard and Vincent Avenue, this park features limited parking but ample green space, benches, and picnic tables. Visitors can enjoy a quiet family picnic or take a leisurely stroll along the tiny sandy beach.
A wonderful place to watch the sunset. The scenery changes everyday and no one day is the same.
Caroline C — Google review
You must be in search of the best sunset view. Well you finally found it! This park is a hidden gem which took us years of searching. Best sunset view you can ever find. A small park located at a very nice silent residential neighbourhood in Niagara on the lake. Very nice place for a family picnic, family time just sat down enjoy the fresh air as you watch the sun set calmly through the night. Plenty of garbage bin around so there’s no reason to leave any clutter behind. Parking is very limited. I thing there’s only 4 side street spots available with 2 hour limit. You may have to find residential side street parking during peak times “weekends”. Not much lightings in the park at night so you may have to prepare if you okay to stay late at night. Attached some we took first week of October. Sun is like cherry red at this time of the year. We sat down to witness how it looks from sunset till dusk and no doubt, it’s amazing. if you think this review is helpful, do drop us a like below. Enjoy

Beautiful and tranquil spot to relax, and get a good view of the Lake of Ontario. Toronto is just on the other side of the lake. We dropped by this park on our way back to Toronto. Definitely a gem.

Quiet little park overlooking Lake Ontario, plenty of benches, a picnic table and small beach. Was told that it has a great sunset. Great place to wind down and enjoy a view of Toronto across the lake.
Tim C — Google review
Quaint park at the end of Niagara Blvd with ample parking for about 7 vehicles for 1hr. The park lends itself for enjoyment of the vast Niagara River as you gaze outward into vast waters occasionally glimpse of sea vessels off in distance may jog across your timeline. The park is small but offers up 4 picnic tables for enjoyment, however the shoreline can be walked. The best feature is the homes adjacent to the park for leisure stroll.

This Park is situated on Niagara on the lake ....is not big but it is so beautiful....you can watch the sunset on a bench or listen to the sounds of Waves in a windy day! That whole surrounding is nice , clean quite and with houses of different styles and nice decorated now in Fall!!

This is a nice little park with a few benches and a couple picnic tables. We went to it for the first time in years and was surprised to see the little beach that was once there, has fallen victim to the high water levels. You can still sit on the flat rocks and enjoy a dip in the refreshing waters. One of my favourite places to watch the sunset...even though last night's was hidden behind the clouds :(
Sean C — Google review
Great view of Lake Niagara. Toronto sits in the background. The water is almost at your feet. There are steps down. Be careful. The park sits in a neighborhood, minimal parking. Canadian Flag. Must visit. Try to go at night to get the view of Toronto’s skyline lit up.

The Niagara College Teaching Brewery is where beer-makers learn on the job. The 1500 square foot facility has a variety of brewing equipment, including a boil tank and two fermenters. Student beers are available on tap and in bottles, while some are year-round recipes. Awards include a bronze medal at the Canadian Brewing Awards in 2017 for the Nut Brown Ale.
The Teaching Brewery at Niagara College gives you the opportunity to try brews from the next generation of craft brewers. They offer beer and cider at the bottle shop and tastings in the cozy taproom. Our host, Max, was very helpful and informative. The Teaching Brewery has both recurring brews (the "101" series) as well as custom brews made by students. I am a new fan of the cider (Cider 101) and the Cherry cider (Taylor Road Cider) and brought home several of each. Thanks Max!
Jamie O — Google review
Love this place. A list of standard brews then the fun stuff the students come up with. Wish it had tables, but it's set up for sampling then buying. Four years on and I’m still coming here. So much fun to see what beers the students have dreamt up. If you’re in Niagara, and like beer, it’s well worth the visit. Sometimes you can get to meet the brewery students or the head brewery chilling after the day. Still 5 stars. Remember though, this is the brewery around back, not the wine tasting centre. Though you can get some beers there too.
Jack — Google review
This place was great. The students beers were well worth the ride to Canada. Jill the bartender was awesome, took us on a tour and explained the entire process. Walked out with 2 six packs and I know it was worth every minute of the wait at the boarder. Looking forward to the next time
Paul M — Google review
Hard decision to decide between 4 or 5 star. It's a nice little spot with a fantastic variety for their small size. I tried quite a few brews while I was there. Some interesting ones that probably weren't my thing but all were quality, and some were fantastic. I didn't get the name of the guy working there last Sunday but he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their products. My only complaint is the same recurring one, there is no place to sit, which was my hesitation to give them the 5 star rating. I liked being able to poke around a bit in the back room which made up for the lack of a spot to sit. Overall top notch beer!
Ryan M — Google review
I have been here on a few different occasions and it is a great spot to try some fantastic local beers and support Niagara College and the students. I find that everyone is always very friendly and more than happy to share any information with you. Beer is usually around $3 to $3.50 and you can buy one beer or a keg, they have whatever your heart desires. If you are visiting the Niagara region I strongly suggest that you make a stop at the Niagara College brewery. They also have a nice little boutique winery where you can try some of the wines that the students make as well. You won’t regret stopping by!
DaviesGarage — Google review
It was great. We couldn't do some parts of the tour because of Covid but what we did was very informative. We tried a variety of beer and wine. We learned about the process to make several wines. It was a nice time. Really Enjoyed..would definitely go again

Really loved the option to taste a few of the distinct brews with purchase before making a purchase or pay just a tasting fee. I was impressed that they had some experimental brews. If you like craft beer highly recommend stopping by. ZFG brewer I'll miss that experimental batch!

Located in the Niagara Escarpment, Queenston Mile Vineyard is a boutique winery offering a delightful blend of exceptional food and exquisite wines. Specializing in small-batch sparkling wines, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, each wine reflects the unique terroir of the region. The vineyard also features Italian-style pizzas and generous cheese boards that pair perfectly with their standout Viognier and oaked Chardonnay.
We had our wedding at Queenston Mile and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was extremely helpful throughout the whole process making it as stress free as possible. On the day of the wedding they made sure everything went smoothly. The venue itself is so beautiful and served the most delicious food. We also held our rehearsal dinner here and again, it was perfect. Overall we would not change a thing about our wedding day. Thank you Queenston Mile for everything, we will certainly be back to visit :)
Myah R — Google review
Queenston Mile was a beautiful mix of a modern and rustic winery setting for our April 2025 wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony on the property, with the cocktail hour and reception held indoors. The venue was welcoming and flexible to most of our hopes and plans for the day. Some of our day-of details were overlooked or changed last minute, leading to some stress and uncertainty. We suggest more organization and communication between all coordinators and staff would be an improvement to the execution. The food and drink service was lovely, our guests raved about the experience! The servers and bartenders were friendly and professional. The overall atmosphere was beautiful, giving a clean and elegant look. Overall, we had a wonderful wedding day and are so happy for the experiences and memories made! We wish all the best to couples choosing this space and hope our insight is helpful ☺️

We had our wedding at Queenston Mile, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless. Our guests are still raving about the incredible food every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, with staff who went above and beyond to ensure we felt supported and celebrated throughout the day. Even when plans shifted due to weather, everything was handled seamlessly, and the day still felt absolutely perfect. Queenston Mile is a stunning venue with a team that genuinely cares, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the unforgettable memories they helped us create. We highly recommend hosting a wedding or any event here —and we already can’t wait to come back in the future !

Had an amazing experience here! Wood fired pizzas were so good; we tried the Hot Honey and the Chicken Pesto pizzas. I was also very impressed with the amount of mocktails available as well!! White peach virgin sangria was amazing 🤩 The patio here is gorgeous, and the view was lovely. Really enjoyed the patio games while we waited for our food! And our server, Jack, was awesome! Can’t wait to be back!

We had the most amazing experience at this venue! Madison and Jolene, the coordinators, were incredibly helpful and attentive every step of the way. Visited Queenston Mile for a lunch on a biking wine tour through the Niagara area. Definitely grab a mimosa flight!!! They had SO many options, all were amazing. The atmosphere in the vineyard is also superb. Good ambience, good drinks, good pizza! The establishment was very busy when I visited causing a bit of a wait to receive our order. Staff were working hard and doing their best! Is to be expected when the weather is beautiful out and bachelorette parties are in full swing. Would recommend!

My fiancé and I travelled to Niagara on the lake to visit this beautiful vineyard. We had mimosa tasting to celebrate our anniversary and I have to say it was a great experience. They had tons of options we had tried quite a few together, and they were all delicious and very well presented. Our waitress was very lovely nicely sociable, and we love the history she gave us about the location. We had a very nice experience and we would definitely recommend this place.

Not so good service. Even though we booked in advance, we waited for long time to be served. The sever was okay. He was not so helpful to pick the drink. Mimosa flight and peach sangria were tasty. Aura On The Lake is a dog-friendly restaurant located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. It offers Indian cuisine with a variety of options including salads, appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and rice bowls. Customers have praised the ambience and presentation of the food. Some found the starters to be very good while others appreciated the unique twist on classic Indian cuisine. The owners are commended for their hospitality and dedication to creating delicious dishes.
Aura On The Lake is a true gem in Niagara-on-the-Lake! Their service is warm and attentive, and the quality of food is exceptional. I was especially impressed by their courage to revive forgotten Indian dishes like Murg Wajid Ali — it’s rare to find a restaurant in Canada that honours classic recipes while reinventing how Indian cuisine is presented. Their bar is another highlight, with an amazing selection of Indian liquors you won’t find anywhere else in the region. If you’re looking for authentic, beautifully crafted Indian food paired with great service and unique drinks, Aura On The Lake is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant to enjoy a meal. We came in late afternoon but they still served us lunch. Super good salmon bowl that came with tasty mushroom matar. Amazing service, excellent staff, 100/10 food!!! Best and only Indian restaurant in NOTL. I come here weekly- the owners and staff of the restaurant are one of the friendliest group of people I’ve ever met. Big portions, good prices. Extremely inviting atmosphere. About to go for a second time this week. A mango lassi on a hot summer day cures all. Go eat at aura on the lake now 😍

A great experience. The naan was amazing. We ordered the kadhai lamb (if I recall correctly) to share. It was equally amazing. Our kids loved the naan as well. Also ordered a whiskey flight. Staff was among the best we’ve ever experienced. Can’t recommend enough.

A Fusion Masterpiece in Niagara-on-the-Lake! What a find in NOTL! Aura On The Lake is an absolute gem for anyone seeking incredible Indian fusion food where taste is truly the top priority. From the moment we sat down, the lovely ambiance and warm hospitality from the owners and staff set the stage for a memorable meal. We started with drinks, and I have to rave about the Mango Mojito – it was the best cocktail I've ever had, with a perfect, surprising kick of spice! The Buratta Chaat was a brilliant starter; a creative fusion of classic Sev Puri with a creamy, fresh burrata at its heart that made every bite refreshing and delicious. For our main, the Adraki Paneer with Rosemary Naan was wonderfully comforting. It had a genuine, home-like quality that was flavourful without being heavy, so you could indulge without the guilt. We finished with the Gulab Melange for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. If you get the chance, sit outside! It truly enhances the wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

A very well thought out menu with vegan options for almost everything. Home cooking meant that our burger had jackfruit instead. I had the smashed burger with vegan cheese and tofu bacon and baked sweet potato fries and a raspberry square. Very accommodating of food restrictions. If you go for the first time and need a railing to manage the steps up, go the back parking entrance. I wasn't aware that's where the stairs with railings were. It's a nice entrance where the parking was.

The safety group set us up with proper life vests and Adam captain and crew took us out on an intense ride. 360’s and deluge of water. It really shows the force of what water can do. Also the power and the feel of that boat. Adam knew just when to burp the throttle and hit some water or send us into a spin. Highly recommend this to all ages in their guidelines. A great operation!! Cudos to everyone that works there. We also took everyone to griffon pub for a great lunch. Overlooking the scenery. A great over all experience!!

What an amazing ride. Thx to Captain Adam for his cool Hamilton Turns. If we would come back to U.S.A. the whirlpool jetboat is our destination again. Great Staff & great scenery.

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours in Niagara is an exciting, must-try adventure. You’ll speed through the Niagara Gorge’s powerful rapids, either getting soaked on the Wet Jet or staying dry on the covered Freedom Jet. The guides are friendly, the scenery is stunning, and the ride is safe and thrilling. It’s a unique way to see the river and definitely worth it for anyone visiting Niagara.

Nestled in the stunning landscapes of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Royal Niagara Golf Club is a golfer's paradise that offers an unforgettable experience for enthusiasts at any skill level. With three distinct championship courses, including the scenic Escarpment Course that winds up and down the majestic Niagara Escarpment, players can enjoy a unique blend of challenge and beauty.
Great golf course that boasts 3 unique 9 hole layouts. You have the Escarpment, Iron Bridge and Old Canal. The course is well taken care of with its massive fairways and challenging roughs. Greens are no easy feet here as they are massive and make you strategically try to approach the flag. Tee boxes were not in the best of conditions, they need to be rolled out and made nice and flat. Great course overall!
Jordan L — Google review
Recently ran a 4 day; 44 person golf tournament wrapping up the final day at Royal Niagara. The organization and attention to detail was the best I have seen. Matt, followed up multiple times throughout the round to make sure everything was going as planned. The course was in fantastic shape and in a world where so many courses are cutting back on spending and upgrades, Royal Niagara is certainly not one of them. Can't wait to return next year for 2 rounds! Beautiful course with knowledgeable staff ..
Brian P — Google review
Played the Iron Bridge and Old Canal nines at Royal Niagara on July 29th and overall, it was a great round. Course conditions were impressive given the recent dry and hot weather—fairways were well maintained, and the greens were fast and challenging. While it’s not the most difficult course, accuracy off the tee is key, and there are several well-placed “safe” landing areas to take advantage of. The pace of play was excellent—finished in just under four hours—and the staff were polite, professional, and welcoming throughout. Definitely a course worth visiting if you’re in the Niagara area and looking for a solid, enjoyable round.
Maria D — Google review
From start to finish Matt and Royal Niagara made our experience 5 star. They went over and above to accommodate our 76 golfers we had in town for a conference. They spent four hours gathering enough rentals for our delegates from their other courses and ensured we had a top-notch experience. Beautiful course in a beautiful part of Ontario. We will definitely be back.

Awesome 27 hole layout! Course is in great shape! Jake in the pro shop was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Staff like him and a great course will have me going back as often as I can!!!
John L — Google review
Nice course with three 9's. The price is perfect. Greens are tricky but I love the challenge. Pace is slower then normal but the course if fun and the staff were all great both times I went. New cart path on the escarpment 9 makes it stand out. All 3 easy to walk. One weird rule that u can't take the cart to your vehicle before only after the round was not cool, pretty much annoyed us before we started it's a good walk from the car to the carts. Overall awesome il play it multiple times and it's an hour drive.
Raymond C — Google review
They have great food great staff and the course is beautiful.. open Tuesday night to Saturday night with patio deck bar and snack bar. You can get all items on menu at all 3 areas. My cousin is setting up her wedding shower there..
Sherrie M — Google review
Played the Old Canal and Escarpment. Old canal is very difficult and makes escarpment seem like a cake walk. It was a little wet but the pace was decent. They should probably not let walkers on the course as one group did cause a backlog. Overall it was great with some beautiful holes. I would play it again for sure.

Neob Lavender Flower Farm is a charming destination offering beautiful flower beds and the opportunity to cut fresh flowers, including lavender. The farm's shop features a delightful selection of products, such as lavender ice cream and muscle and joint pain rub with a mild scent. Visitors can enjoy the calming aromas while exploring the property and learning about various plants from enthusiastic staff members. Although some guests wished for more time to fully experience all the activities, they appreciated the overall beauty of the farm and its surroundings.
I’m SO glad I found this place! Wonderful activity to pass the time. This was my first time at a lavender farm and this was such a great first experience. It was $12 for entrance, $15 to pick lavender. I picked as much as I could fit within the tie they provided. I will be putting some in a vase at home & the rest I’ll be putting in birthday gift baskets I do throughout the year. We were only able to clip purple lavender, not the white ones but they said they would provide some white ones with our bouquet after we finished clipping. It wasn’t too busy, probably 2-3 other groups were there while we were ; went on a Monday. There were different photo ops throughout the farm. The gift shop was wonderful and we bought some things there ; ALSO! They will wrap your bouquet for you. Highly recommend stopping by! PLEASE NOTE: They told us lavender clipping season will be ending in 2-3 weeks ; they will be switching it to wildflowers afterwards.

One word to express this fabulous experience is “Wow!” Beautiful place..must to visit for adding more happiness..It gave us the calm, positive and blissful vibes upon visiting this place! This lovely farm has many nice selfie-spots and props to create a wonderful memories!! The store has a lot of variety of different products to offer to their customers. The staff members were communicating with a joy. They all were so helpful one or the other ways..got some good recommendations upon asking to decide fragrances and flavours. Bravo! 👏🏻 congratulations 💐 to the team Neob Lavender Flower Farm! keep it up! 🤩

We enjoyed our journey to Niagara-on-the-Lake via the scenic Route 55. Along the way, we stopped at Noeb Lavender Farm, where we had a pleasant visit at the shop and purchased some lovely soaps and moisturizers. The shop was beautifully arranged, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. While we decided against touring the farm due to the $12 per person admission fee, we felt that our visit was worthwhile overall.

Our tour bus stopped here yesterday afternoon. NEOB, Niagara Essential Oils and Blends, Lavender Farm was wonderful! Just the small of the field of lavender plants was so refreshing and relaxing! The owner explained the history of the farm and then the purpose of various projects inside the store for various skin and health issues. I bought several shampoos, soaps, deodorant, and creams.

Cute little lavender field with shop. We purchased some scented soap and body wash, quality is great and the fragrance lasts for a long time. The staff are very friendly.

Even during a heat wave, this was such a magical place to visit!!! Highly recommend the pick your own “experience” and taking lots of photos! And best part was meeting McKenzie (the wonderful rep in the boutique), who made my family feel so special and suggested beautiful lavender plants to put in our garden that we enjoy daily! Can’t wait to return for wildflower season that is starting now through the rest of summer! 💐

Aromatherapy at its best!!! We had a lovely visit to the Lavender Farm and enjoyed the experience of testing different products in the Store and buying them. The Lavender Ice Cream was delicious too!!!
Hania W — Google review
It was a shame bc I went yesterday and was told they had already harvested the lavender. It did not say that on the website. That being said I still had a good time walking through the wild flower section and picking a Bouquet of flowers. The said were great 👍🏻. I would definitely return

Had a nice time visiting this spot! The flight was fantastic to be able to try different flavours! The apricot one was my favourite! Nice inside area with aesthetic wines, and a selfie area too! Didn't try the food. Loved the bright colors and teal walkway tunnel thing!!! Beautiful!
Elizabeth C — Google review
Stopped at this location because they had dog friendly grounds. Staff was really great. They were friendly and helpful. The outside was cute and shaded. Nice picnic tables and games. Unfortunately, that is really where it ended. Cider was unimpressive and lacking. Had a flight that was $25 for a four tasting. Ciders tasted more perfumed then made with the actual fruit. Very artificial aftertaste. Wouldn't go again
Michelle R — Google review
Warm and inviting atmosphere. Lots of cute decorations. We loved the pairing with the warm peach crumble and 2021 Vidal ice wine $21.95 on sale now as of 26 January 2025. Free WiFi and parking and friendly staff.

Went here with a group of girls for a stop on a bachelorette wine tour & the service was incredible, the bartender was so chill and happy to chat with us as she was pouring our flights. Was quiet earlier in the day and a good spot to stop for a breather and play a few games before our next spot.
Rachel — Google review
We’ve visited this spot a few times before for their cider tastings, which have always been a highlight, but unfortunately, the Shiny Apple Cider Wine Tasting Flight was a major letdown. The servings were incredibly skimpy, we were expecting more for the price and were left feeling unsatisfied. It's hard to enjoy the experience when you're barely getting a taste of each option. While the wine itself didn’t impress, I would still recommend sticking with the cider tastings. The atmosphere is definitely nice, and it's a cool spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a casual outing. But when it comes to the wine tasting flight, I’d suggest passing on it, definitely not worth the money.
Daniel C — Google review
My wife, some friends and I came here during the Ice Wine Festival because we had free sample coupons/coasters. This place looks really pretty, I'm sure it's even better in the summer and I'm also told they have even better flavours that season...so we'll definitely have to come back. We all tried different ciders, I had the Vanilla Honey which is absolutely delicious, and my wife got the old fashioned maple which was also delicious. We had a nice chat with the employee there, bought a couple sample packs and went on our way. Excited to come back and hang out during the summer!

A unique cider tasting experience in the Niagara on the Lake region! There are few cideries amongst the vast number of wineries. This one is well worth a shift from the norm. Julie is a consummate host. She made our experience unforgettable. Not only well versed in ciders, she also is well connected to the wineries and their staff in the area. She will make your experience worth a visit. So many ciders to choose from that one will speak to you. Highly recommended.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Sailing Club situated in a stunning area where the Niagara River converges with Lake Ontario, serves as an excellent base for discovering wineries in the surrounding Niagara Regions. In September, an annual wine festival takes place, followed by an Icewine festival in January. Additionally, there are numerous winery tours available from Niagara-on-the-Lake. This private club predominantly caters to sailboats and boasts a beautiful location.
We've taken a couple of trips to this club. Very friendly staff with nice facilities and reasonable dockage fees. Great area for cycling, hiking and shopping. Would highly recommend this destination.

This is a great club, their Harbor Master Barb is very friendly as is the rest of her staff. The clubhouse is very clean and open and has lots of tables and chairs the upper deck area is the best place to be if you want to overlook the river while you're eating or just socializing. There's many barbecues around me facility the bathrooms are very clean and large. We ended up tying up in the wall so during the day it's quite rough with the larger boats going by and their wake smashing us against the wall but once the boat traffic has subsided, which happens just after sunset, it becomes a perfect spot to tie up with views of Lake Ontario the US side of the river and the Yacht Club. I highly recommend this Yacht Club if you are traveling by boat and you need a place to more for the night.

Terrific active sailing club. Offering weekly racing, and great access to Lake Ontario. With great learn to sail programs for youth and adults. See website for greater details.

Private club with mostly sail boats. Beautiful location. It's where Niagara river meets lake Ontario.
Gavin M — Google review
NOTLSC is a small private sailing club beautifully sited near the mouth of the Niagara River & steps away from all the amenities of the very walkable & charming old Town. The club enjoys reciprocal rights with a number of clubs around Lake Ontario. CHECK ONLINE for details. With few transient slips available, reservations are required & should be made well in advance of desired date that you wish to visit. For our visiting American friends, make certain that you check in with Canada Boarder Control Services when landing, have proper documentation on hand, follow their instructions & do not step off your boat until you have been authorized to do so. Failure to report in immediately on landing (if not before) can result in an immediate $1200.00 fine (which has occurred at the club) and they do have the authority to seize & impound your vessel. Not worth testing their sense of humour! A little planning goes a long way towards having a really enjoyable visit to our club & town.
