Restaurant
Nestled at the northern tip of the Niagara River sub-appellation, Two Sisters Vineyards is a celebrated winery that offers an array of delightful experiences amidst its picturesque estate. With easy access and ample free parking, visitors can enjoy scenic views bordered by the tranquil waters of Lake Ontario and the Niagara River. The unique geography creates a perfect climate for vineyards, ensuring moderate temperatures year-round. The estate boasts beautifully maintained gardens and lush grass areas, making it an ideal spot for couples or weddings.
Two Sisters winery becomes my favourite spot every time we visit NOTL. It’s a few minutes drive from downtown business area with very impressive grounds. So you drive in to the property you can see the grapevine on both sides of the driveway lead to gorgeous Italian style building that houses the wine teasing room and the restaurant. The restaurant has huge outdoor dining area that is facing the back vineyard that you can have a gorgeous sunset view. The menu is tight with nice options. They offer all the wines that are produced in the winery. We went with a couple of friends for an early dinner after a play. Our waitress was very friendly and tentative. Food are delicious.Sitting in the place make you feel like you’re in Europe without hop on the plane!

We had a truly memorable dining experience at the vineyard. The setting was absolutely stunning — surrounded by rows of lush vines, the atmosphere was peaceful and picturesque, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was thoughtfully prepared, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that paired beautifully with the wines. Each course was elegantly presented and full of flavor. The wine selection was exceptional, and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us through pairings that enhanced the meal. Service throughout the evening was warm, attentive, and well-paced. We never felt rushed, and every member of the staff contributed to the overall charm of the experience. This dinner wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience that celebrated great food, excellent wine, and the beauty of the vineyard. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special evening out.

Two Sisters Winery in Niagara on the Lake exudes elegance and sophistication. The property itself is stunning. The beauty of this vineyard truly lies in the details ✨️ They have a wonderful shop inside and a gorgeous outdoor patio that’s perfect for relaxing with drinks. You can also order food as well. Their boutique wine tastings must be booked in advance. For something more casual, there’s also a charming outdoor wine by the glass stand where you can sip and enjoy the scenery. Pairing the wine with some delightful gourmet chips-It's simply devine. We ended up taking the long route through the vineyard since it was such a beautiful day, though if you’re not wearing proper footwear, definitely take the shortcut to the left to avoid walking through the vines! Between the serene fountains, the breathtaking setting, and the exceptional wines, Two Sisters is a place I’d love to spend much more time at. A truly memorable Niagara on the Lake experience.

Our first visit to this amazing Winery with a surprising and pleasing experience tasting a few white and red wines presented professionally by Brock, a knowledgeable host. After choosing four bottles to enjoy at a later time, we chose to have lunch in their restaurant. All and all, we highly recommend visiting, tasting and dining at Two Sisters Winery.

This was a booking for a special occasion, family style service at the table was well delivered and every single thing on the menu was amazing. Wonderful ambiance and with a heated patio since the evening was a little nippy that made the night. Thank you for making our event special!

My fiancé and I got engaged at the vineyard they set up the barrel room for us and made our day feel even more special. I highly recommend stoping here if you’re visiting the town or planning a special event like an engagement or wedding. They also have good service, amazing food and great wine!

This is the vineyard where I proposed to my wife, and since then, we’ve made it a tradition to return every year for our anniversary dinner. It’s become such a meaningful place for us, and each visit only reinforces why we love it here. On our most recent visit, we sat on the patio with a full view of the vineyard, a truly serene and romantic setting. My wife started with a glass of the 2023 Riesling, then followed it up with the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. Both were fresh, bright, and paired beautifully with the meal. We began with the burrata and arancini, both were excellent. The burrata was served with Ontario peaches, which were perfectly ripe and sweet. We honestly wished we had more to share. The arancini were crisp on the outside and soft inside, a great contrast in texture. For mains, my wife had the rigatoni Bolognese, while I went with the mushroom pappardelle. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the portion sizes were generous. I even took some of mine home. Beyond the food and wine, the vineyard itself is stunning. It’s well-maintained with plenty of space to walk around and take photos. There’s also ample parking right out front, which is always appreciated. Expect to spend at least $100 per person for dinner, especially if you're enjoying wine with your meal. For the quality, setting, and experience, it’s absolutely worth it ! We’re already looking forward to our next visit. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

2025.09.09 My first visit to Two Sisters Vineyards. Lovely place. Went did only the wine tasting. Waiting time was 45 minutes (without pre-booking). They have restaurant with indoor and outdoor seatings. Our host Susan was great but she did not want to take photos with us, 'she is a celebrity'. We all like their Red Cabernet Sauvigon and the Ice Wine.

Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant is a chic, contemporary dining spot located within the upscale Peller Estates Winery. The restaurant offers farm-to-table cuisine paired with wines produced on-site. With its warm and inviting ambiance, the restaurant has garnered attention from both patrons and critics alike. The menu is thoughtfully curated with seasonal offerings sourced from local farms, forests, and waters.
My visit to Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant was an absolute delight! Thanks to the beautiful weather, simply being there was a wonderful experience in itself. The wines were delicious, and our guide, Johnny, was exceptionally professional and friendly, making the tasting experience truly informative and enjoyable. A particular highlight was the opportunity to sample ice wine in a dedicated special area – that really stood out! Don't forget, the tasting glass you're given is yours to keep after the tour, so make sure to take it home as a souvenir. If you're looking to explore expansive vineyards, enjoy delicious wines, and see a pristine winery, I highly recommend Peller Estates. It's a fantastic place for wine lovers and those looking for a beautiful day out.

We ordered the 5-course tasting menu, each beautifully paired with a glass of wine. Every dish and wine pairing was absolutely delightful — full of flavor and thoughtfully crafted. The service was warm and attentive, which made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. The setting is simply stunning: dining while overlooking the vast, serene vineyard was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The interior design is equally impressive, especially the striking wall behind the counter, which adds to the charm of the space. Overall, it was an experience filled with joy, beauty, and a deep sense of appreciation — I would love to return again and again.

My husband and I had the opportunity to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary at Peller Estates with our children. The fine dining at The Winery Restaurant was above and beyond expectation from start to finish. Sybille, their lovely hostess, was so kind and welcoming when we arrived. We appreciate her hospitality and kind demeanour. As we were sat, our lovely waitress Julie made our celebration a night to remember. Sparkling wine for my husband and I and two sparkling apple juices for our children (ages 10 and 14). Our 3 course dinner prix fixe meal was divine. We can cannot wait to return next time. I would highly recommend their East Coast Digby Scallop Crudo and their Signature Lobster Linguine. For dessert, their Mille-Feuille were also excellent paired with of course their Signature Series Oak Aged Vidal. Thanks to you Kayla Wall, hospitality manager for ensuring our special night was one to be remembered. Until next time!

I really enjoyed the tour at Peller Winery. It was a great experience to learn more about wines and how they are made, especially since I am not very knowledgeable about wine. The guide was very friendly and willing to explain even the simplest things, which made the visit even better. The wines were delicious and I loved that they gave us the tasting glasses as a gift because they are so pretty. The only downside for me was that the shop prices felt a bit high but overall everything was beautiful and worth the visit.

Peller Estates in Niagara on the Lake is a stunning winery with beautifully maintained grounds and a touch of grandeur. We booked the guided tour, which began a bit slowly outside as we learned about the vineyard’s history and winemaking process. Thankfully, things picked up and became much more engaging as we moved indoors and explored behind the scenes. The highlight was definitely the 10 Below Ice Lounge. It was an unforgettable experience that was really cool 🥶 both literally and metaphoricallyl! They give you large parkas to wear to warm things up a bit. It was such a fun way to end the tour! The wines themselves were enjoyable and reflective of the Niagara region's charm. Overall, it was a memorable experience that started off a little snooze worthy 😴 and finished on a positive note. Highly recommend adding Peller Estates to your Niagara-on-the-Lake wine itinerary!

🍷🍾The wine selection was exceptional, with a fantastic range of reds, whites, and sparkling wines. The Icewine, of course, was a highlight—rich, smooth, and unlike anything else. 🍴🥩The set menu at their restaurant was simply delicious. If you're looking for a winery experience that combines great wine, fantastic food, and beautiful surroundings, Peller Estate is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back for another round of wine and food pairing!

Our group of six had an absolutely fantastic time at Pellar Estate! The winery tour was informative and engaging. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the experience so enjoyable. The wines were delicious, and we loved learning about the winemaking process. After the tour, we had lunch, and the food was outstanding! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with their wines. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the beautiful weather made it even more special. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Pellar Estate for anyone looking for a great wine-tasting experience, delicious food, and a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be back! A perfect day out with friends! 🍷☀️

Great experience! Peter, our guide was knowledgeable, helpful, funny and engaging. I spent $45++ pp for two of us, and they offered 4 types of samples (bubbly, white wine, red wine, and their famous ice wine) There’s also water and juice for those who don’t wish to drink. They also offered jackets for the -10 degree room (decor made with ice) which was considerate and a fun experience. There’s lots of time for photos and they allow you to roam around freely in the whole winery. There’s also a restaurant which I did not try, but the vibes seem amazing. Highly recommend for bachelorettes, a couple date or for tourist!!! Customer service was great, I was running behind for my 2pm appointment due to traffic and road closures so I called the winery to reschedule and give me the 3pm slot on a Monday, which they were more than happy to do and I am glad I could enjoy the full tour with my mother. Free parking is a plus!

Nestled in the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Shaw Festival Theatre stands as a cultural gem and a must-visit destination for theatre enthusiasts. This flagship 856-seat venue has been captivating audiences since 1962 with its remarkable productions inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw.
Great venue to see a show! Easy to get entry, very friendly staff, every seat has a great view, and the building is beautiful! My one gripe would be the $25 parking but it's better than walking around town. I would definitely see another show here.
Jay H — Google review
We took our children to the Shaw Festival's production of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". The production was amazing. Well written and produced. We were blown away by the set design, costuming and acting. The theater itself is very charming with a lovely gift shop and concession. There is a lot of space in the atrium to sit or stand. The staff and volunteers were wonderful. They even brought booster seats for the kids which meant we didn't have to worry about them not being able to see over the seats ahead of them. I really hope we get to go back sometime in the future!
Tara F — Google review
Nice to see that this venue is still great and has kept up with the times. Seats are very comfortable for longer performances and the slope of the theatre is great. You have a great view even in the second last row of orchestra. Came to see Anything Goes and the production was excellent. Really high production value. Exceeded my expectations.

We attended a ‘Sunday Coffee Concert’ at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The musical performance was led by Music Director Paul Sportelli and supported by members of the Shaw Festival. Playing to a full house audience, singer Jay Turkey joined the musicians in a beautiful version of La Vi e en Rose. The facility, performance and beautiful surroundings of Niagara made for a precious summer musical visit!

First timer yesterday, the theater is very nice, spacious and clean. A nice lobby café and refreshment available before and during intermission as well as little gift shop! The play we saw was "Wait Until Dark" it was a great night out, actors was amazing, the lighting and music everything was just great! The seats and view were great and comfy! Love the under 35 years old pricing they have available! We will be back!

The play at the Shaw festival what is absolutely fantastic. Niagara on the lake was spectacular. The floral display within the town was in full bloom. All the unique shops we're very busy in the streets were filled with people. It was a wonderful experience!

Took the "behind the scenes" tour. It was fantastic seeing all the operations involved in putting on a show. The guides were very knowledgeable and it was really amazing seeing what goes on!!!

Cozy and intimate. Acting was very good for a small theater. Same group of actors kind of feels different when someone watches different shows. We were in Niagara on the lake during the September long weekend. Busy, Busy, Busy.

Treadwell Cuisine is a renowned upscale-casual Canadian restaurant located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Known for its patio dining and menu featuring local, seasonal fare and regional wines, it's advisable to make reservations well in advance due to its popularity. The award-winning farm-to-table restaurant sources the best local producers and offers a seasonal 4-course prix fixe menu in the evenings.
No beating around the bush - it’s just as phenomenal as all the other reviews say. If you have any doubts, don’t. This is the real deal. Sitting at the counter, you truly get to dive into how well oiled of a machine Chef and his kitchen staff are. Friendly, meticulous, attentive, between timing out their protein cook times, dishes and plating, they had the courtesy to consistently check in on us, ask how everything was and make conversation. One of the best meals and service experiences I’ve ever had.
Adam S — Google review
We had a fantastic Sunday brunch at Treadwell Cuisine. We shared the seasonal peach, tomato, and burrata dish as well as the charcuterie selection. Both were spectacular. Standout entrees included the Lobster Club sandwich, the blueberry pancake, and the two egg breakfast with the fingerling potatoes and toast. Service was fantastic, everything was delivered straight from the kitchen piping hot, and we did not feel rushed at all. We enjoyed our meal and our visit. Highly recommend.
Maria P — Google review
Overall a decent place for tourists looking for a place to sit down and eat. Reasonably priced for the area, the food comes well presented and in large portions, and they do try to make the taste of every dish interesting in some way. Not sure if the effort was made in the right direction though. The staff were all very nice, and the outdoor dining space has a nice vibe. Overall, I would still recommend this place over many other restaurants in the same area.
Chen X — Google review
My husband and I recently used Treadwell as our catering service for our wedding at Ironwood Cider House and we were very impressed. We have been to the Treadwell restaurant as customers as well as for our wedding menu tasting and we have nothing but great things to say! The service and food was impeccable. We loved sitting in front of the kitchen watching the chefs work their craft. As for our catering at our wedding, the service was still stellar, but the food was slightly below our expectations. Our appetizers weren’t quite on point - the scallop smelled too fishy, and the carrot salad wasn’t seasoned enough. For the entrees, the halibut was a bit dry, but the striploin was just as good as when we tried it during our menu tasting. Overall, we definitely still recommend Treadwell for sure! We understand the logistics of catering is obviously quite different than making to order at a restaurant, which is why we are still very content!

The lamb special was terrible but then they changed it to the mushroom gnocchi! OMG!!!!!!! the best I have ever had. Apps were epic and dessert was very very good. Service was great! Its a 4.5 star but rounding it up!

Stopped here for dinner with a group of friends, we had a large group about a dozen of. James was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. The service was amazing, the ambiance was excellent, and the food was absolutely phenomenal! Everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted delicious. The fresh bread, the home made butter, the appetizers, all amazing. I ordered the filet mignon... this was the best steak I have ever had. The chef did a wonderful job, all of our plates came out exactly as ordered. Desserts were also impressive. I ordered the chocolate creme brulee. We all enjoyed a wonderfully cooked meal and had such a great time. We will definitely be making reservations again. The cost to eat here is about $150 (Canadian.) per person.

The best lobster sandwich I’ve ever had!! You must go here. Lunch was fantastic, service was exceptional. Restaurant is fun. The open kitchen gives you confidence that your food is being prepared the right way. We ate at many restaurants in town and by far this was the best all around experience. Thanks. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Excellent food, great location, and atmosphere. We made reservations to eat outdoors when it was 30C outside, but the shade canopy and the breeze made it feel a lot cooler out. We ordered the sweet chili glazed pork belly Sunday brunch special and the salmon with zucchini blossom and vegetables. The food was very delicious! This place is such a hidden gem, a must try!

Nestled in the heart of Niagara Wine Country, Riverbend Inn & Vineyard is a Georgian mansion located on a picturesque vineyard. The inn offers elegant rooms and features an ornate bar and a fine-dining restaurant called Oaklands. Guests can savor gourmet dishes such as duck confit while enjoying sweeping views of the surrounding 17 acres of vineyards.
We had an amazing lunch at the winery’s restaurant as a group of 8, and everything was top-notch from start to finish. The wines we chose - both the red and the rosé - were absolutely fantastic. Every sip was smooth, balanced, and full of character. The highlight of the meal was the duck leg confit - perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and incredibly satisfying. Truly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time, easily at a near-Michelin level. Service was also exceptional. Four waiters arrived together to serve all of us at once, making the experience feel elegant and well-coordinated. The attention to detail and the warm atmosphere really elevated the entire meal. Overall - a wonderful culinary experience with excellent food, outstanding wine, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

My recent stay at Riverbend Inn was mainly enjoyable, but I was disappointed to find that the King bed I had reserved was substituted with a Queen without any prior notice. The room itself was large; it was undoubtedly in need of some TLC. The Air Conditioning wasn't functional, and the heat was stuck on full blast in our bathroom. That said, I do appreciate the hotel staff’s efforts to make amends. We were offered a complimentary breakfast and a bottle of wine, which was a thoughtful gesture and certainly helped improve our experience. Overall, the service was friendly. The Breakfast was good, but I recommend confirming room details at check-in to avoid. Update: Management reached out to us today regarding the overbooking situation. They were very professional, informative and apologetic. Well done.

We stayed here for one night and overall had a nice experience. The hotel is beautiful — a charming historical building with a lovely atmosphere and a great location surrounded by vineyards. The territory is peaceful and scenic, and everything was very clean with plenty of fresh towels. They also offer a convenient transfer to their wineries, which was a great bonus. On the downside, the beds were quite old and uncomfortable, and the check-in time is a bit late (4 PM) while check-out is quite early (11 AM). Still, it’s a lovely place for a short stay if you want to enjoy the Niagara-on-the-Lake wine region. 🍷🏡

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The Inn was very charming, loved being in the middle of a vineyard, and a 5 minute walk/bike ride to a beautiful trail along the river. The Inn was clean, staff was professional, and the room was large and nicely decorated. We were able to borrow bikes for a full day and rode along the river trail, to town, and hit multiple wineries for tasting along the way. Highly recommend and would definitely return!
David — Google review
Amazing location. Beautiful house and setting but quite a few issues for the price. WiFi is shocking. There are no common spaces, no reception type of area, no sitting space outside of your room. If you come with a group, be warned you will not be able to hang out together at the Inn. If it’s sunny and warm, you can sit on the lawn, but during dinner (4-8pm) you are not made to feel welcome and the one time we sat outside and read books I was asked 4 times if I was staying at the inn. Definitely didn’t feel welcome relaxing on the chairs there! The rooms are dark with very dated decor and poor lighting. The beds are fine, but linens are quite tired and cheap feeling. The bathroom is out of the 70’s with a fresh coat of lipstick applied. There is lots of hot water and good water pressure though, so you can have a nice bath in the plastic shower/tub combo. There is no counter space in the bathroom and no place to put your clothes in the bedroom. All outlets are used so don’t expect to be able to charge your phone or iPad. The Inn looks pretty and the staff are nice. We were there for a wedding and spent 3 night and a huge amount of money. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again unfortunately.
J W — Google review
We love this place. Have stayed once a few years ago, and have had drinks/food on the patio twice over the past two summers. It's always so beautiful and peaceful. Just a truly stunning corner of vineyard Niagara. Hope to stay again in future. The prices just seem a bit unrealistic recently, unfortunately.

Such a beautiful hotel I wish I could’ve stayed longer. We stayed 3 nights in Niagara. The building itself is so beautiful, just driving up to it is a wow factor. The inside is decorated to match the outside with a grand chandelier right when you walk in. The room was large, but still cozy with a fireplace in it. Beds were comfy. The front desk staff were always very kind and check in process was quack and easy. The view from the property is so peaceful, I could sit in the Adirondack chairs all morning with a coffee and watch the vineyard. There are also fire tables in the yard to use at night time which was very nice. Bikes are available for use and they recently got a car for guests to use as a shuttle which was nice as we were able to book it for transportation to dinner so we didn’t have to worry about driving or Uber. We also didn’t find out until the last day that we get a free tasting at Peller as guests of the inn, so I wish I knew about that earlier. Location is great as it is walking distance from Peller and Two Sisters. It’s easy to get to the town and other wineries in the region. Breakfast at the hotel is good, but expensive for what you get and we only went once. Overall, I would come back next time I visit Niagara.

End of month pull up early afternoon on the bikes and order two glasses of wine 48$ with no option except an 18 or 20 % tip and this is at the bar. Then the server had the audacity to combine the old bottle with the new … big no no. Anyway Niagara give your head a shake and do better if you have the gall to charge these prices

The Gardens at Pillar and Post transform into a magical Christmas wonderland during the holiday season, featuring enchanting lights, festive music, delicious snacks, an ice rink, cozy fire pits, and outdoor movie screenings. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the serene gardens adorned with beautiful Christmas decorations while listening to the soothing sounds of a waterfall and observing Koi fish in the pond. The venue offers wheelchair accessibility and ample parking.
The Christmas Wonderland at the Pillar and Post Gardens was quite a sight! It was bitterly cold on this evening but there were still lots of people enjoying the grounds. They serve drinks and snacks and have lots of seatings spread out everywhere, some with burning fires pits giving much needed warmth. They have a whole bunch of wooden cabins which were empty on this day, but they sure added to the charm. One of the wooden cabins had a large TV set up which was playing The Polar Express. Folks were sitting and watching the movie covered in blankets, too cute. There are public washrooms inside that were clean and accessible by the barn where drinks are offered. They built a large skating rink which was busy enough considering how cold it was. There are lots of benches around the rink for people to put their skates on. If you have time, you should go into the gorgeous Pillar and Post Hotel for a drink at the Cannery!

The Money Gardens across from the Pillar and Post Inn is a must stop whilst visiting Niagara on the Lake. It is a beautifully curated garden and over the recent weekend the Vintage Hotel hosted a Canada Bloom fair. They held events, cooking shows, local vendors, fashion show and many other activities including a ride around the old town to see the floral displays. There was a teapot in front of the Prince of Wales hotel, a couple of lollipops in front of the Shaw Cafe, strawberries n peaches in front of the Pillar n Post and a wine glass filled with floral designs and a box of popcorn flowers plus a bee hive with lots of bees made from floral arrangements. Magical it was.

In the winter, there is a skating rink . You can rent skates. $ 5.00 . They also have a bar outside beside the rink . You can get hot chocolates cider Specialty coffees, just don't forget to ask Melanie for a cinnamon sticks .

Really awesome place for an afternoon or evening stroll during winter (but also summer, of course). Plenty to see and enjoy - there's plenty of benches, and a food heating spots too. Entry is free to the gardens; skating wasn't open yet mid-December due to warm temperatures, but should be open soon. There's a small post with warm and cold drinks for purchase.

The Gardens are a lovely spot to walk to from downtown. The OutPost bar is always open and serving lovely local drinks. Wonderful service!

Such a serene place with good display of Christmas decorations surrounding the area. Koi fish can be seen under the bridge and a waterfall can be heard while strolling the path. A bar is available to keep you warm on a drizzly night like tonight. Parking is available and wheelchair accessible. A beautiful place to visit while at Niagara on The Lake.

The Gardens at Peter and Paul are an elegant venue perfect for weddings, corporate functions, and other special events. Their team provides excellent service and offers customized catering and decor to create unforgettable occasions.

Beautiful Christmas garden full of light and winter beauty with a gigantic Christmas tree in the middle. The garden has multiple areas for seating ( some with gas burning fire pits) and for walking along many pathways and along a large pond that is decorated with lights during winter months. There is a barn turned into an event hall ( where the bathrooms are located) and a small bar on another corner of the garden offering some beverages ( cider, coffee cream, …) and snacks( pretzel,…) With a stay at one of the Vintage hotels, you will receive a free entry ticket and a food and drink voucher (and possibly a blanket to keep you warm).

The Butterfly Conservatory is a captivating venue where you can witness over 2,000 butterflies fluttering in a lush rainforest setting. It's one of the many must-see attractions at Niagara Falls State Park, offering an immersive experience with nature. The conservatory provides an opportunity to observe these beautiful creatures up close and learn about their habitat. It's a perfect family-friendly destination that offers an educational and enchanting experience for visitors of all ages.
I’d give 20 stars if I could! Everything was spotless and well maintained. The $20 entry fee was totally worth it. The moment you step inside, you can feel the amazing energy — butterflies are flying all around you, and the view is absolutely beautiful. If you love butterflies, this place is a must-visit! The staff was super friendly, and don’t miss the free rose garden outside.

There was no wait when we arrived, which was great. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes — there's so much to see outdoors! The gardens are beautiful and very well-maintained, and there's also a cafe on-site if you want to grab a bite. The conservatory itself isn't very large and was a bit crowded when we visited, so we only spent a few minutes inside before heading out. There's also a gift shop, though it's mostly stocked with souvenirs and items for young kids. The real highlight is definitely the outdoor space. We loved exploring the gardens, and there’s even a golf course nearby. Highly recommended for a relaxed day out in nature!

We wanted a kid and baby-friendly activity for our mini getaway and am so glad we opted for this. We’ve been to Niagara Falls dozens of times but had never thought to explore this gem and we were so glad we did. We spent less than an hour here (thank you previous Google reviewers about the paid parking tip and only needing an hour!) yet it felt much longer. Adults, kid and baby were so enchanted by the exotic beauty of the thousands of gorgeous butterflies fluttering around. What a treat it was to be in their domain and admire in awe and wonder. It is humid of course so recommend to come in a t-shirt, regardless of the actual weather outside. We had our baby in a baby carrier and it worked out wonderfully; saw some other babies in strollers and preferred having a baby carrier as it allowed us to navigate easily on the paths. Gift shop was a lovely browse too; purchased a cute hologram butterfly bookmark for our son to remember this conservatory every time he reads. Highly recommended!

Cool small dome filled with many butterflies and tropical plants. I was impressed by the number of butterflies, but expected a little more variety of types. 20-30 minutes is plenty to see everything. Kind of expensive at over $20 for an adult and $8 parking in the lot. I would say it's worth stop if it's part of an included package...probably dont need to go out of your way to see just that unless you are a big butterfly fan.
Kevin M — Google review
Butterflies, science, and my inner 5-year-old fully activated! I didn’t expect to be this entertained by butterflies, but here we are. The place is packed with them—so many different kinds that I started naming them like Pokémon. One even landed on my shoulder, and for a brief moment I considered adding “Disney princess” to my résumé. The real MVP was the butterfly caretaker who answered approximately one million of my questions (I basically turned my visit into a field trip). He was so patient and full of knowledge, it honestly made the whole experience that much cooler. If you’re anywhere near Niagara-on-the-Lake, make this a pit stop. It’s colorful, relaxing, and will have you questioning your life choices if you didn’t wear bright colors to attract more butterflies. 10/10 would visit again—armed with more questions and maybe a net (just kidding… kind of).

If I could give this place more stars, I would. This was an AMAZING experience that felt like pure joy and relaxation at the same time. There were so many absolutely stunning butterflies of all different kinds. 10/10 recommend this place whether you’re traveling, just trying to get the family out of the house, or even for a fun date. I cannot express how beautiful this place and experience was. After the experience there’s a cute gift shop, as well as gorgeous gardens and even a cafe! Definitely a highlight of my vacation!

I’ve been here TWO times for my birthday, i LOVE it. I also really love Kyle, one of the workers there. he’s just like me. Tell Kyle he’s awesome. He might not remember me but i’m the pale boy with long-ish brown hair. Anyway, the butterflies are beautiful, the orange ones with yellow spots usually do not like touching me for some reason. remember to look for butterflies who are resting on the floor and pick them up and put them on a leaf so they don’t get stepped on! I recommend this place for insect enjoyers.

October 2025 review. I love butterflies. I been to Key West (Florida) butterfly conservatory as well, I find Niagara is probably bigger, has more variety of plants, trees and number of butterflies. STILL I find experience 45$ including tax for 2 adult people and 2 hour 16$ parking if you wanna enjoy garden and butterflies - way over priced and overvalued! Regardless how beautiful it all is - I still don't think it really worth 61$ for 2 hours being here. Alex Garden or Rosetta McClain Gardens (free parking) (Toronto) are absolutely free and as impressive as Nigara Botanical Garden. The city should cover some cost or at least offer free 2 hour parking. Tourist should not be treated as walking wallets.

Botanical garden
Established in 1936, the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens is a sprawling European-style garden spanning 40 hectares. It showcases an array of plants from around the globe, including allees, roses, herbs, and vegetables. The site also houses one of Canada's largest conservatories where visitors can observe butterflies up close and partake in educational programs focused on horticulture. Additionally, the gardens offer indoor and outdoor spaces for students to learn about plant life and for families to enjoy nature.
The butterfly experience was everything we expected: surrounded by multiple butterflies, we spent an hour being just amazed at the close contact we had with nature’s most precious creatures. The gardens are also very impressive and super well-maintained. It’s a nice place for kids AND for adults!

Very picturesque with lots of garden spaces to explore including an arboretum and rose garden. There's even a pond area with lots of frogs and a few painted turtles. Not a long walk but well worth a visit. It is free and located right beside the butterfly conservatory.

Visiting the Niagara Falls Botanical Gardens was such a lovely experience. The grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained, surrounded by vibrant flowers, majestic trees, and lush greenery at every turn. Within the same area is the Butterfly Conservatory — though it was closed during my visit, it’s definitely on my list for next time. Even without it, the gardens themselves were breathtaking — the perfect spot to stroll, reflect, and capture timeless photos. A truly beautiful place for peaceful walks, weddings, or special occasions.

🌿 Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens – A Peaceful Oasis Near the Falls The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens is a hidden gem just a short drive from the main Niagara Falls attractions. This beautifully maintained 99-acre garden is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and scenic escape from the busy tourist areas. The gardens are stunning in every season, but especially vibrant in late spring and summer. The rose garden, featuring over 2,400 roses, is a must-see and smells incredible when in full bloom. The butterfly conservatory, located on-site, is a magical experience where you can walk among hundreds of free-flying butterflies in a lush tropical setting. The entire park is free to enter (excluding the Butterfly Conservatory), with wide walking paths and plenty of shady spots for relaxing. It’s also home to the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, so you’ll see some impressive displays and rare plant varieties. Whether you’re a nature lover, photographer, or just want a quiet place to stroll, the Botanical Gardens are a beautiful and refreshing part of any Niagara Falls visit. ⭐️ Highlights: • Free admission to the gardens • Stunning rose and herb gardens • Peaceful, well-maintained grounds • Butterfly Conservatory (extra fee but worth it) • Ideal for a relaxing walk or picnic

Nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pillar and Post Inn & Spa is a beloved retreat offering a blend of elegance and relaxation. Originally a canning factory, this charming country inn now boasts 122 guest rooms featuring contemporary and country furnishings. The hotel offers an array of amenities including hot springs, an outdoor swimming pool, gym, full-service spa with indoor saltwater pool, sauna, and more.
Could not have been a more perfect spot for our medieval-style wedding. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and sweet, people remembered us, the location is amazing with the gorgeous gardens across the street. The food is good and reasonably priced considering the fanciness of the restaurant. If you want an room accessible without stairs you do need to specify that, though as the bridal couple our room was automatically on the elevator side. They also have a beautiful spa with lots of treatment options, and a private outdoor Jacuzzi they call the hot springs which is lovely. (You need reservations, which come in 20 minute chunks.) There are also two pools and another, smaller less elaborate but still lovely Jacuzzi, free for use by hotel guests. The outdoor pool appeared to have snacks and drinks service, and the location also has three associated restaurants. Great visit!

Great location. Excellent. Great spa, spa experience, food, shuttle, activities. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms specious. Cleaning staff excellent. Night time always had my bed made with a rose. Will be hard to follow when I travel to other places.
Vanessa G — Google review
This hotel is set in a lovely location with beautiful grounds. The service was quite good and the staff were welcoming. I found the room to be tired looking and in need of an update. The bathroom door could have used a fresh coat of paint on the door, as it looked grubby. I expected much more given the cost of the room each night. We visited the outdoor pool on the first day and we couldn’t get a lounge chair for quite a while, as it was overcrowded. I was later informed that day passes are given to the local people to make use of the pool. The hotel should review their policy and give priority to its hotel guests. We were so turned off that we avoided the pool for the rest of our stay. The hotel did not seem to have an adequate number of parking spots to accommodate their guests. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and not what you would expect for a $400/night hotel. We will not be returning.
Corinna W — Google review
The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and the garden is beautiful. The restaurant and hotel staff were great. We enjoyed the spa and the location of the hotel. Niagara on the Lake is beautiful. The deluxe room was not deluxe. Old carpeting, the bathroom had ventilation issues which led to the whole room feeling humid. We had to call the front desk twice with maintenance issues during our four night stay. The staff did their best to address them but they couldn’t address a bathroom door that had mold on it without repainting it. The bedding was lush, clean and comfortable.

Visited the Pillar and Post and the 100 Fountain spa a couple weeks ago for a pedicure. I must say this is the dirtiest spa that I have ever been to. I was the first one there when the spa opened at 9am and the showers had hair on the walls and floor, it seemed to not have been cleaned from the day before. The “hot spring” which is just an outdoor hot tub filled with heavily chlorinated water (not sure why it’s called a hot spring) was dirty as well, I was one of the first ones there, my hot spring time slot was at 9am. There was a big clump on hair on the side of the tub. The spa lounge had tons of flies and fruit flies buzzing around the garbage can so don’t sit on the chairs near the garbage can. I was there first thing in the morning and they were all hovering on and around the garbage can.. I think there must’ve been rotten garbage from the day before.. I came back later in the afternoon and it was still the same situation. The pool area was dirty as well.. there were cigarette butts under one of the tables near the pool that looked like they have been there for months. Does no one care to clean this place??? I almost wanted to speak to the manager and cancel my pedicure based on the state the facilities was kept… but I went ahead with my appointment because I had already planned to spend my day there. The nail technician was very nice and professional, no complaints there. But I’m not sure I will be returning based on the cleanliness of this place. The receptionists that morning we unhelpful and rude, I asked them if I needed a key card to access the change rooms and upstairs facilities they said no but then really you do. They also weren’t very nice. However the receptionist in the evening was really nice and helpful. I have included photos of the state of cleanliness of this hotel/spa… was really looking forward to a nice spa and facilities. Disappointing.

They call a vintage hotel for a reason. Carpets and rooms are looking tired. Convenient parking down the street. It includes electric car chargers. The gardens and the conference barn are exceptional. Very relaxing, and friendly staff. On balance recommended. But be prepared to walk 15 minutes or so to the downtown area with the shops and vendors.

absolutely disgusted with my spa portion of my stay. my 70yr old mother suggested going to the Hot Springs to relieve some pain in her back and i agreed. we were late getting in because it was crowded, not a problem. the problem is we were forced out early by a staff member. unfortunately didn't get her name, but she had red burgundy hair and wore black glasses. she referred to my mom as as a "slow old lady" to other guests waiting while my mom attempted to get her slippers on. it was wet, and she is feeble. i helped to the best of my ability. on top of it all we hadn't even finished our time slot, but again we were forced out because it was too crowded. any staff member who talks about guests that way to other guests should not be employed in a Hospitality setting. what a horrible woman. not impressed.

Overall our experience was okay. Our room was beautiful but it was next to a door that people would come and go tough all night which was quite loud. We got the dinner package and the dinner was great and made everything easy. Breakfast was also included and loved it and the server we had was nice and helpful. Across the street was a beautiful garden.

The Niagara SkyWheel is Canada's largest observation wheel, offering stunning panoramic views of the Horseshoe and American Falls, the Niagara River, and other landmarks. The glass-enclosed gondolas reach heights of 175 feet, providing a comfortable vantage point for visitors to enjoy the breathtaking scenery in any season. With heating and air conditioning in each gondola, guests can take in the beauty of Niagara Falls year-round.
This was one of my top two favorite attractions at Clifton Hills. I love that the skywheel takes you around more than once. You really do get to take in all of the views and the views of the fall most importantly. It was surprisingly pretty clean. I recommend it because it’s just another way to see the falls and all of the attractions.

This Ferris Wheel was awesome. My wife and I always love to go on these for the views. We were not disappointed. The views were incredible. Even though the Horseshoe Falls were at a distance, the view was still amazing. Fortunately for us, the sun was starting to get lower so everything was glowing. The views of Ontario were also gorgeous. Often, rides like this can be quite pricey, especially in popular tourist areas. This one was $15 Canadian which is about $10.50 in US dollars. For that price, we were expecting two loops. We got five. Every time we went around, we gave each other a high-five. Overall, we both highly recommend it.

Riding the Niagara SkyWheel was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We went during the day, and I can't recommend it enough. Seeing the Horseshoe and American falls lit up in vibrant colors from 175 feet in the air was just breathtaking. The whole experience was smooth and comfortable. The line moved quickly, the cabin was fully enclosed and climate-controlled, which was a nice touch, making it a cozy and peaceful ride despite the buzz of Clifton Hill below. The ride lasted about 10-12 minutes, giving us plenty of time (about 3-4 full rotations) to soak in the 360-degree views and take some incredible photos without any glare from the windows. It felt very safe and steady the entire time. If you're trying to decide when to go, definitely choose the afternoon or the sunset! The glittering lights of the city and the illuminated falls create a truly magical experience. It's well worth the ticket price for a perspective you just can't get anywhere else. Five stars all the way!

Had been to Niagara Falls many times before but always ignored it. Decided to check it out this time and it was a very good experience. The view of the Niagara Falls and the city from the top was very unique and beautiful. Gives a different perspective. Definitely worth it.

We decided to try out the sky-wheel on a whim on a recent visit to Niagara. It was a fun little experience, albeit somewhat expensive for a short ride. Neat to experience the Falls from above! Not for anyone who is afraid of heights though (it took me a little bit to feel comfortable at those heights, especially when it stopped!) :). Once everyone is loaded you go around a few times before they unload everyone again. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎡 Niagara SkyWheel – A Must-Do Experience in Niagara Falls! 🌊🌆 The Niagara SkyWheel is hands down one of the best attractions in Niagara Falls 🙌. It’s not just a ride, it’s a full 360° viewing experience that lets you see the Falls 🌊, Clifton Hill 🎢, and the whole city from a completely different perspective 🏙️✨. The cabins are spacious, clean, and fully air-conditioned/heated ❄️🔥, so you can enjoy the ride comfortably no matter the season. Hygiene is well taken care of 🧼, and the ride feels very safe and secure ✅. As the wheel goes around, you get to enjoy breathtaking views 😍 — especially at night 🌃 when the Falls are lit up in different colors 🌈 and Clifton Hill is glowing with lights ✨. During the day, you can see miles across the horizon 🌤️, making it a totally different but equally beautiful experience. 💯 The customer service is excellent — the staff is polite, helpful, and makes sure everyone is comfortable and safe 👏😊. ✔️ Washrooms 🚻 are nearby and easy to access. ✔️ Tickets 🎟️ are reasonably priced considering the experience — totally worth it. ✔️ Parking 🅿️ is available close by (around $15), so convenience isn’t an issue. This is the perfect activity for couples ❤️, families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, or even solo travelers ✨. The slow rotation gives you enough time to relax, take photos 📸, and soak in the stunning views 🌟. Overall, the Niagara SkyWheel is a must-do when you’re in Niagara Falls 💯. It’s calm, romantic, and exciting all at once — the kind of experience that makes your trip truly memorable 🙌🎡🌊.

If you've never been to Niagara Falls before, the Sky wheel is a good destination. You get great aerial views of the falls and all the surrounding attractions. Once you're on the wheel, things go smoothly but it can take quite a while to get on. It wasn't a particularly busy day in Niagara Falls when we went and it still took us about 30 mins to board. Make sure you visit a restroom beforehand!

Experience the power and beauty of the largest rapids in North America at White Water Walk, located just four kilometers downstream of Niagara Falls. After a quick elevator ride, visitors can stroll along a wooden boardwalk that runs alongside the river through the narrow Niagara Gorge, offering stunning views of rock layers dating back over 400 million years.
We had purchased tickets before we got there. We got there early and were aloud to enter even tho it wasn't our scheduled time. Very pretty walk along the edge of the Niagra River on the Canadian side. There is information boards along the walk telling you stuff like how deep the water is and how high the waves are.

This was an enjoyable experience that really gave a close up sense of the power of the water from the Falls. A gentle self paced walk with plenty of excellent photos opps.

The White Water Walk offers a beautiful and refreshing experience. From the manmade wooden boardwalk, you get an up-close view of the turbulent, emerald-green Niagara River as it rushes through the narrow gorge. The naturally eroded rock formations add a scenic and calming element to the walk. The short tunnel from the elevator to the boardwalk adds a nice touch to the overall experience. While there is some waiting time for the elevator both going down and back up, it’s manageable. There’s also a souvenir shop at the exit where you can pick up gifts and memorabilia. Overall, a pleasant and worthwhile experience, especially for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful walk with stunning views.
Ajay S — Google review
It's a beautiful short walk just the entrance fee seems to be a bit much for what you get. (Also the reason for the 3* rating) Still happy we did it and I can cross it off my list now. Nice views. Sadly the platform closest to the river was closed off. The selfie point is useless couldn't find my picture but was offered (online by the system) to download other people's pictures. Very questionable in my opinion. Would recommend going early when the sunlight still hits the water giving you the most vibrant colours The wait was long. Clean area. Wheelchair and stroller mostly accessible - exceptions are the lookout platforms.
Jennifer L — Google review
To be honest, this was a pure scam and a complete waste of money. It is not worth the $20 per person fee. They are essentially scamming tourists; it should actually be free. I would never recommend anyone spend money here. There isn't much interesting to see. They claim it's a 15-minute walk, but it's not even 5 minutes, and there's really only one spot where you can take a good picture. I would give it zero stars ✨ , but there isn't an option for that! 🤣
Eldho N — Google review
Cool boardwalk along some very big rapids down stream from the falls...but excessive price for a quarter mile walk. There is a small gift shop where you buy your tickets, then you take an elevator down to the walk. You go through a tunnel and then get to the boardwalk. There are a couple signs along the walk with information, no guides or talks. You spend as much time as you want then come back up. The walk is about 0.25 miles with 2 photo points. 30 mins is plenty. Cost is $20+ per adult and street parking was $8 per hour. At almost $50 for 2 people to go down...it seemed over priced to me. Rapids are cool to see and there are nice pictures. Worth the stop if you aren't concerned on the cost.
Kevin M — Google review
The white water walk was very cool to see! If you’re a big hiker just note that this is an extremely short walk on a well kept boardwalk, it probably took us 15 minutes in total to walk the boardwalk and we were going slow. This experience is all about the view and taking in the amazing power of the water. The sights here are absolutely gorgeous with both the rapids and the nearby cliff-sides. We bought our experience as part of a package which included other activities, which I highly recommend, it made the whole thing much cheaper and the staff seemed to have it down to a fine art getting people where they needed to go. Heavily recommend either doing that or purchasing tickets online in advance, especially if you’re planning to go during peak tourist season. We went on a gorgeous Saturday in June, however we went earlier in the morning and it wasn’t too busy at all. All in all I definitely recommend going to see this at least once if you’re in Niagara looking for something to do.

We recently visited White Water Walk and it was absolutely beautiful! The view of the rapids was breathtaking — watching the power and intensity of the water up close was truly mesmerizing. It’s a peaceful and scenic experience, and a great spot to take in the raw natural beauty of Niagara. I recommend coming early when it opens — it’s much quieter and gives you the chance to enjoy the views without the crowds. A must-visit if you’re looking for a more tranquil and awe-inspiring stop in Niagara Falls!

For those seeking entertainment, Clifton Hill features a casino and family-friendly attractions such as the iconic Niagara Skywheel, offering panoramic views of the city near the falls.
It’s a great family outing place everyone has something to do here - we spent 2 days but need more to explore the rest - overall true to its hipe but expensive as well

Amazingly designed street with lots of arcades, fun/haunted houses, restaurants and fast food stands. I come here at least once each summer to take in the sights and sounds. It gets super crowded here during the summer. It's a short walking distance from Niagara Falls.

Château des Charmes, founded in 1978 by Paul Bosc, is a picturesque winery with sprawling vineyards and a French-inspired ambiance. It was the first commercial vineyard in Canada to exclusively plant European grape varieties. The estate offers tours, tastings, and light fare amidst verdant surroundings. Additionally, it hosts elegant events featuring live music, delectable foods, and fine wines under a canopy tent.
Went July the 4th with 2 friends for tasting, charcuterie and chocolate. Great reception from the staff. We were assigned a lovely table by the vineyard inside the tent. We reserved for 6 Pm so we had 2 waiters to tend to us. Arthur and Noah both from France studying at Brock University added that French accent to the presentation and service. Both well mannered, knowledgeable about the wines, cheeses, meats and chocolates. Our guests were impressed since it was their first experience. We are members of Chateau des Charmes Wine Club and every visit is an adventure in tasting and enjoying the moment. Getting back in few week with more guests, hope to see these 2 lads soon. Thanks for a great day with you. Michel & Rémi

Fantastic experience! Gorgeous property! Beautiful selection of wine! Yunus & Dot were exceptional, so knowledgeable about the property and the wine selection. Thank you for your superior expertise! Château des Charmes should 100% be on your list when visiting Niagara Wine Country!

I visited Chateau Des Charmes as part of a trip to Toronto/Niagara in July. This was the first stop of our trip & it definitely set it off to a great start. Beautiful property, very spacious and was nice and quiet when we visited. The staff were so lovely & extremely knowledgeable about the wines. We had booked the wine tasting and learnt a lot about each & what paired best with them. I especially want to thank Anywn - she was great, very attentive and made sure to keep checking if we needed anything. Offered to take our photos and just overall made us feel very welcome. She is a credit to your team! If you’re looking for a vineyard to visit, I would definitely recommend this one!

We had a wonderful tasting experience at the winery. The wines were excellent — elegant and well-crafted. The service was outstanding as well, with Galina’s knowledge and warm, professional approach adding a lot to the overall experience. It’s clear she cares about making visitors feel welcome and enjoy the tasting. Highly recommended!

Stopped by Château des Charmes for a quick visit, and couldn’t resist grabbing several bottles including their 2024 Gamay Nouveau, 2020 Equuleus, and a few other selections. Their wines never disappoint! Beautiful spot, friendly staff, and consistently excellent quality. Always worth the stop. 🍷

Our visit to Château des Charmes in Niagara on the Lake was a dream! It's the most peaceful and serene winery I've ever visited! We were lucky to be there on a gorgeous sunny day, and the backyard area was the perfect spot to unwind. Their big, comfy white leather couches made it easy to sit back with our drinks, relax, and enjoy every minute of quiet conversation surrounded by the picturesque setting. The gentleman who greeted us was truly made for his role. He was incredibly personable and professional. He did a fantastic job explaining all of our options when we arrived and guided us effortlessly through the experience. There are plenty of choices, from tastings and individual glasses to cocktails and mocktails. My mojito came out initially missing some mint and muddling, but they handled it beautifully. The bartender immediately made things right, remade the drink perfectly, and even comped it with a genuine smile. The kind of old school, attentive hospitality ( becoming increasingly rare these days), they absolutely excelled at it! Overall, Château des Charmes completely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, the people, and the impeccable attention to guests made for a memorable and relaxing afternoon. We’ll definitely be back!

Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery is a charming and elegant estate located on a fifth-generation family farm. This family-owned winery is renowned for its organic vineyards, award-winning culinary experiences, and picturesque wood-burning pizza oven surrounded by an outdoor bar overlooking the stunning vineyards. Visitors can also explore the on-site grocery store offering delectable cheese and wine to enjoy amidst the scenic vineyard. The cozy farmhouse-style restaurant and bar provide a warm ambiance to savor exquisite cuisine.
From the very beginning, our experience at Ravine Winery was amazing. As soon as we arrived, a lovely lady welcomed us and guided us through the wine tasting, taking the time to explain how everything worked. The supervisor also stepped in to assist, and we were so impressed when she mentioned that the First Lady hadn’t even clocked in yet. We felt terrible we didn’t catch her name to thank her properly. Kyle was fantastic in explaining and suggesting wines, making the tasting even more enjoyable. Afterward, we had lunch, and the experience got even better thanks to Michelle, who was so understanding and helpful throughout. To finish, we explored the little farm with pigs, goats, and chickens, which was such a charming touch to the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Pretty. Super service, some great tasting wines can be had along with hummus and/or a variety of 3 cheeses (Brie, goat’s cheese and another hard artisanal cheese) with smokey mustard, sweet pickled onions and Maple syrup. Wine tasting can also be accompanied by other snacks such as potato chips etc. Full lunch menu is also available. Great views of the vineyard - not particularly extensive but gives you a feel of wine country nonetheless. Great afternoon out!

Ravine is my favorite winery in the NOTL region and has been for years! Located in St Davids, the wines are fabulous, the grounds are beautiful, and the service is outstanding. Utkaresh helped us on this visit and he was awesome describing the wines and ensuring we had everything we needed to have a great experience They have a small seating area inside to enjoy your flight or a large patio area outside. They offer charcuterie boards, hummus and other small snacks. There is also a bakery and full restaurant on premise (note the 3 all operate differnt hours) Their tasting flight allows you to pick 4 wines from their offerings. They have a wide range of wines *4 sparkling in both brut and charmat styles, 9 whites, 1 rose, 7 reds, and 1 ice wine were available. We shared 3 flights and a glass of ice wine so we tried 13 of their offerings and enjoyed all of them. My favorites were the sparklers, rose and oaked chardonay. This is a MUST stop on your NOTL visit My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great place to visit! Amazing service — truly beyond expectations. The staff was friendly, the wine selection had great taste and variety, and the cheese tray was absolutely delicious. Everything was quite pocket-friendly compared to other wineries. What impressed me most was their attention to detail — they happily accommodated my food sensitivities and provided gluten-friendly crackers at no extra cost! Our server, Shennel, was exceptional and made the experience even better. A lovely spot for everyone — even kids can enjoy snacks and sodas from the Greenhouse and play in the huge open field within their parents’ sight while the adults relax and enjoy the wines. Highly recommended! 🍷🧀🌿

After having a number of fantastic wine and dining experiences at Ravine we decided to celebrate our wedding at Ravine Vineyard this August and it was the best decision ever! This venue is like no other and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more beautiful day. The venue aesthetically is stunning and feels both upscale but also relaxed. The food and drink is of a very high quality and the patios and event spaces are bright, spacious and very welcoming! In the weeks leading up to our big day our planner (Abby) was helpful, responsive and really put our minds at ease. She was extremely accommodating with requests and provided some thoughtful recommendations throughout the process. Abby and the day of coordinator work with all our vendors on the day and and overall it was such a relaxing day. Most of our guests traveled from abroad and it was clear to us they were very impressed with everything that Ravine brought to our day. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Ravine for a celebratory event or special occasion!

We stopped in on a quiet Wednesday and had an amazing view of the vineyard. Tons of shaded seating outside but also a cute indoor tasting room as well. A wide variety of wines including some amazing bold reds. The whole selection of wines tended towards being more dry which I greatly appreciate. Staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this winery!

This was our fifth winery in two days and wow what a pleasant surprise! Warm and inviting atmosphere! Loved the seating area…a lot of space to gather. The view of the vineyard is spectacular. Victoria was of great assistance providing us with history and knowledge of the winery. This is the winery that sold me on white wine. I am not a white wine drinker, but when I tasted the Patricia Block Riesling , I was sold! This wine tasted so magical! Then another that I sampled was the Riesling ice wine which again Is something that I have not enjoyed in many years. My colleagues had ordered this as part of their wine flight of testing but I had not. Victoria thought to bring me a sample of the Riesling ice wine with the thought that I may change my mind on ice wine. This Riesling ice wine was pure silk, the liquid just sat on my tongue with just the right sweetness! It was just a wow moment. Thank you so much, Victoria. I cannot wait to sit with my husband and enjoy these Rieslings.

Weinkeller is a casual bistro and bar that produces its own wines and serves contemporary dishes made with local, seasonal ingredients. Located in an intimate, brick-walled basement, the restaurant offers three reds and three whites produced on-site. The menu features prix fixe options with dishes like cedar-planked Pacific salmon. Additionally, Weinkeller boasts a carefully curated fixed-price menu of Ontario wines and an open patio with live music.
It was really great, the steak did come to us overcooked more than what we asked for, which has never happened in the past. The server fixed it for us and brought us a wonderful desert on the house. We always enjoy our time here. I do miss the 5 course meal option, it always made it more fun and a unique experience because you don't get that option in many restaurants. Nonetheless, had a great time but I miss the flow and excitement of the coursed out meal option." I'll still give it 5 stars because everything was still excellent, but it's not the same vibe anymore and I really used enjoy the nostalgia.

We had an amazing dinner at Weinkeller. We started with the fried goat cheese appetizer and fresh oysters, both of which set the tone for a great meal. For salads, we tried the seasonal watermelon feta and the seasonal corn cheddar – both light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For mains, my wife ordered the cedar plank maple balsamic salmon with mashed potatoes, and it was outstanding – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I had the tomahawk pork chops, blackened and finished with an apple cider reduction, served with garlic fingerling potatoes. The pork was tender, juicy, and paired beautifully with the sauce. Everything we had was incredible from start to finish, and we were especially impressed with how reasonably priced the menu is for the quality and creativity of the dishes. Service and atmosphere matched the food – warm, inviting, and professional. Highly recommend Weinkeller if you’re looking for a memorable meal in Niagara.

Food was better than the reviews reported. Arrived at the end of happy hour which was a bonus. Tried some oysters and caprese salad for appetizers. So good we were almost finished before I remembered to take pictures. Husband tried the tomahawk pork chop. He was extremely pleased with it. I ordered the espresso crusted filet. It was delicious as were the sides. Baco Noir and Pinot Noir were both delightful. Bread Pudding was the perfect end to our meal. The real stand out was Kaleigh. She was very attentive, super friendly and caring. I was not feeling 100 percent the day of our visit. She was super sweet inquiring about how I was feeling and offering suggestions. Absolutely can't wait to visit again next time we are in the area.

Had my birthday dinner here. Chose one thing I never order in restaurant.. salmon, because every restaurant I’ve ever ordered it from has been over cooked and or under seasoned. To my delightful surprise it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! With compound butter! The sides included beets and carrots, I didn’t know this but I don’t like either, and yet even they were good. Not over cooked! Had their fan favorite fried goat cheese. A first for me 😋 and ahi tuna. Service was great, chairs comfy. I have passed this place so many times because it doesn’t look like a restaurant from outside but totally worth the reservation.

Recommended by our tour guide Weinkeller was an excellent choice for dinner. The food and atmosphere were excellent and our server, and I wish I could remember her name, was beyond excellent. If we ever come back to Niagara Falls again, we will definitely be having dinner here again. I recommend as you will not be disappointed.

Best Cosmopolitan I ever had in my LIFE! Utterly perfect. My husband had 3 espresso martinis sans Baileys but equally as good. The appetizers, the soup of the day was a roasted red pepper and just delicious. The service was spectacular. We really enjoyed this restaurant and loved the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Last time we were at Weinkeller was 2021 and it was amazing then. I’m happy to say it’s STILL absolutely fantastic 4 years later! Easily one of the best steaks my husband and I have had this year - we both got the 7 OZ filet mignon. The ambiance and service is top tier as well and I truly think the prices are fair as they match the quality of the food. Weinkeller is definitely our go-to place when we’re visiting Niagara Falls.

We had an excellent dinner at Weinkeller earlier this week. The prix fixe menu allows you to pick 3 or 5 courses (which includes drinks and desserts). Our table was able to share some items and taste a lot from the menu this way. Some food highlights were the fried goat cheese, the seafood casino pasta, and the chocolate semifreddo. Our server was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable about their wine selection and menu items. I definitely recommend this restaurant as an alternative to a lot of the franchise restaurants on the Niagara strip!

Trius Winery & Restaurant, part of the Peller family, gained international recognition in 1991 when its Trius Red was named the Best Red Wine in the World. Nestled between the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario, this winery offers tours and tastings of its award-winning wines, including reds, whites, ice wines, and sparkling varieties. The property features a restaurant with wine pairings and seasonal seating in the Wine Garden overlooking vineyard views.
An amazing experience. We did the three course meal and ate outside which was quite the experience. The meals were definitely unique and it felt like very fine dining. The servers describe everything amazingly and definitely keep your meal moving forward. The mains were our favorite parts and the dessert was unreal. Thanks for the great Michelin star experience.

Absolutely loved my visit to Trius Winery! I did a tasting and spent a relaxing afternoon reading my book on their beautiful covered patio. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and other visitors were so sweet to my pup—he felt right at home! The wines were fantastic, and the whole experience makes this one of my favorite winery visits in New York State. We’ll definitely have to come back for the restaurant, which was Michelin-recognized in 2024. This spot is great for a group outing or solo travelers, very clean, and there’s plenty to explore around the state.

We visited this restaurant in July for dinner and had the two-course meal. The restaurant is so gorgeous but since it was a lovely July evening, we decided to sit on the patio. The setting was absolutely beautiful, overlooking a little fountain, a grassy yard with barrels, and views of the vines. It really set the mood! The meal started with fresh bread and whipped butter, which was absolutely delicious. For starters, I had the beet salad, which was incredible — beautifully plated and full of flavor. My partner had the tomato collection, which was fresh and tasty as well. For mains, I had the beef, which I found a bit under-seasoned compared to the first course, while my partner’s fish was good but slightly plain. We were stuffed so we skipped dessert. I ordered a white wine sampler which came in the rack and since it was warm it got warm quickly so this is something for the owners to consider. Overall, we loved our experience — the gorgeous setting, service, and delicious starters made it so memorable! A wonderful spot for a summer evening experience!!!!

This was my second experience at Trius restaurant. We went for our anniversary this time and really enjoyed ourselves. The food is excellent and they are on the Michelin guide for a reason. I didn’t like that the bread and butter wasn’t included considering with tip and wine, this was like a $400 meal already. It was also served in a plant pot for some reason. My husband got the duck appetizer and I got the ice wine beets. He had the halibut, and I had the Cornish hen. And dessert, he had the blueberry cheesecake and I had the peach pavlova. Both appetizers were very good, the peach pavlova I think was better, but the Cornish hen was the dish of the night. Wow it was so good! Our server was very lovely, and I thought the staff was very impressive coming out with each dish and explaining every component with every course. Overall it was a great experience, and we would consider returning on another trip to NOTL.

The food was delicious, and the wine was absolutely amazing. I was so impressed by how perfectly it was served at the right temperature — I never knew wine could taste this good! It was even better than the pairings I’ve had at Hiramatsu in Japan. I was also delighted to meet the Japanese manager — it made me feel very welcome. Don’t forget to take home a bottle of their wine as a souvenir! 🍷

Trius Winery & Restaurant was one of my absolute favorite stops on my Niagara on the Lake wine tour! It was easily the busiest winery we visited too, and for good reason. I love how multi-faceted it is. They have a beautiful store, a separate fine dining restaurant, and a guided tour (for an extra charge which needs to be booked in advance) that takes you all around the property. The cellar tour was incredible, advertised as the largest sparkling cellar out there . We were able to sample their award winning sparkling wines and the iconic Trius Red for which they have earned so much recognition for. We did run into a huge bachelorette group that delayed our tour, which affected our dinner reservation, but the staff handled it perfectly. Our guide was so accommodating he personally arranged for a private escort for us to the Sparkle Room for the final Insta-worthy part of the experience. Such a thoughtful touch and completely worked out in our favor for a private photo opportunity! Dinner at the Trius Restaurant was outstanding!! It’s actually the only Michelin recommended restaurant in Niagara on the Lake, and it exceeded every expectation. The prix fixe menu was excellent. We were able to choose either 2 or 3 courses. We went for 3 and since we had 3 people in our party we each ordered something different so essentially we tried the entire menu sharing. Every dish was perfection. Service was fantastic as well. Every menu item was presented with an incredible in depth description which was greatly appreciated. Trius is without a doubt a must see winery in Niagara on the Lake!

The Prince of Wales Hotel is a luxurious Victorian hotel offering elegant rooms and suites, fine dining, an indoor pool, and a spa. Built in 1864, the hotel exudes old-world charm with its rich chocolate brown decor and Victorian aesthetics. The rooms feature a blend of traditional and modern elements, from floral wallpapers to four-poster beds. Guests can enjoy the famed afternoon tea in the light and airy drawing room or opt for the charcuterie and panini bar.
The hotel itself has a grand feel to it. Frozen in time in a perfect way. Where other properties attempt to capture this quality and fall short, The Prince takes you back in time and wraps you in elegance. The main dinning room, Noble, has a great menu with a variety of local offerings. During our last stay we were taken care of by an exceptional individual named Taylor. His knowledge of the entire menu was extraordinary. His assistance with a local wine selection was fantastic as well. Truly impressive. He made our evening. Our room was well appointed and met all our expectations. We were very impressed with the balcony. This provided a lovely spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. Anyone looking to book a room at this hotel might suffer a little sticker shock at the prices but when it comes to location, quality and attention to detail The Prince of Wales cannot be beat.

Afternoon Tea was just ok. My sister came for a visit from out of province and I made a reservation well in advance. My 9 year old grand daughter joined us for both her and my sisters first afternoon tea and trip to Niagara on the Lake. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the hostess seemed quite flustered and told us to wait in the lobby as the first seating was still there. Not sure what that meant as there were empty tables and we had a reservation. We waited and then the three of us were seated at a table for 2 with a small round table next to us. It was in the glassedin area. It took over 40 minutes to get tea and the food was ok. Actually the bread on the cucumber sandwiches was stale and hard and the smoked salmon ones were slightly better but the bread was also hard. The scones, pumpkin tart and egg salad croissants were very tasty. We were not able to keep our tea pots on the table and it was awkward to eat as the small table was so crowded. The host came by at one point and asked if we wanted to move to the inside room but we were settled and trying to keep it upbeat for my granddaughter who was super excited to be there. There was a table for 4 in the corner across from us that was empty and remained empty the entire time we were there. All that to say we were happy to have done an afternoon tea but wouldn’t recommend this place for service or food.

Words are not enough to describe how wonderful this hotel is! The greeting and registration process was smooth and a very warm welcome. The rooms are probably the best I have stayed in. I was here to celebrate my 65th Birthday and staff could not have done more to help me celebrate. Drinks in the Churchill bar were exceptional as was the dessert. Service was so warm and friendly. The atmosphere with a live pianist was brilliant. I cannot express how fabulous this hotel was and how fantastic the staff were. I would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel. I am already planning a revisit in the near future!! Infact we extended our stay by a day!!

Do not upgrade to a superior room! There is nothing superior at all! No fireplace, mold everywhere, the duvet cover had coffee stains on it. The safety didn’t work after three attempts to have people fix it, the front end staff especially the young Asian girl were very very rude! The concierge told us to look stuff up online. The restaurant messed up all six of our meals over three days. How hard is it to get an omelette with only cheese! Came out three times so I just ate it the wrong way because it was stuffed with onions and peppers etc.! Definitely not worth the price I paid and not a five star hotel anymore. My fiancé visited there about seven years ago and said it was beautiful it obviously went downhill! Everybody was walking around like zombies and nobody cared that we were there except for Jason and his counterpart as valets! They would be the only reason I would ever reconsider sending anybody to this hotel. I have pictures if anybody is interested

I went in really expecting a lot from a vintage luxury hotel experience. The staff are friendly, high tea was delightful, dinner at Noble was great. But the rooms… the bathroom has black mould in corners, tub stopper didn’t work, and when I pulled it out there was black gunk on the underside. Also, the edges of the bathroom floor were dusty and hairy. So, disappointed and a bit grossed out. Great location. Not sure I’d return though because I like my rooms clean and for the price I expected more — though a clean bathroom is a basic ask.

We did not stay at the hotel, just visited the restaurant, but they clearly prefer a specific clientele, and my wife and i did not meet their standards. My wife and I went for our 15th anniversary. We didn't have a reservation, and were asked a few odd questions, like if we were staying at the hotel, which wasn't strange in itself, but was followed by where are you from, why did we come to this restaurant, and have you been here before. If it was conversational, it would have been okay, but it felt like an interview. We were then told that they could get us a table, but it would be a 15 minute wait. When I agreed, the hostess said it could be longer, it could be 30 minutes or more, and 15 is just the minimum. That felt strange, too, but I agreed. This is the strangest part, after about 15 minutes she came to get us and show us to our table. There were more empty tables than occupied tables, and they were all clean, so what was the wait for? The room we were taken to had 6 tables and only one was occupied. (See photos) It felt to me like she'd hoped we would leave rather than wait for a table. The waiter was stiff and not too friendly at the introduction, but loosened up as the evening went on. I got the impression he was meant to ward us off from coming back, but soften a we were very friendly to him. The menu doesn't have many options, and the portions are small, especially for the price, but I guess that's high-end dining. I won't be going back, which I suspect is what they wanted. Tip: We went to Gelato di Carlotta for dessert. I bet much recommend that place! It was very good. If you're in Niagara-on-the-Lake, skip the Prince of Wales restaurant, but go to Gelato di Carlotta.

Traditional high tea is $55.00 comes with 3 small savoury sandwiches, 1 savoury humus tart, 1 scone per person, with crème fraise and strawberry jam, 1 mini cup cake, 1 macaroon per person with your choice of teas. I chose masala chai tea. Surprisingly it is very filling. Did not enjoy being seated indoor on sofa’s. Was not offered seating in the enclosed outdoor space. Felt like I was sitting in a stuffy drawing room of an elderly relative. The server was snappy, wouldn’t answer any questions. “When I serve it, I will explain everything” was her snappy response. Should be more amenable to questions in relation to lactose allergy, when one of our party has a severe lactose allergy.

Big Head Wines, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, is a newer addition to the region's wineries. Founded by experienced winemaker Andrzej Lipinski, who previously worked with renowned Ontario wineries, the establishment initially operated as an online business before opening its own wine and tasting cellar at Hunter Farms. The name 'Big Head' pays homage to the founder's Polish heritage. This family-run vineyard offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to other well-established spots in the area.
Big Head was recommended to me by another winery on a previous trip, so when we went back to Niagara on the Lake for another wine tour, I had to make sure we stopped at Big Head. It was an incredible experience! The inside of the building is beautiful! Brent was our server and we was spectacular!! He listened to what we were interested in trying and created a wine tasting that was amazing! Everyone in our group was very impressed. We tried different types of wine and grape varietals that we had never had before. The raw wine was a fantastic added bonus! I highly recommend doing a wine tasting at Big Head and we will absolutely be back in the near future!! Thank you for such a great experience!

We came to Big Head two weeks ago for a couple tastings and it was decent. It’s a local winery that feels more corporate and not as personable as some of the smaller wineries around the area. We weren’t able to do the tastings we were hoping for and instead had to resort to other selections. Luckily, one of their staff members, who wasn’t initially serving us, made us feel more welcomed and made the experience a little more personable. Thank you Alicia for sharing your knowledge and for the great hospitality.

It took me a few years to write this review, but it is an excellent product having bought A case in 2021 of the 2017 vintage, it is absolutely incredible to taste today aged beautifully, smooth and velvety with subtle notes of Fruit. I’m not an expert, but I know what’s good and this is good. I hope that the recent vintages come close to what we drank with this 2017 version, the alcohol content was a little bit lower in 2017 around 13.5 now it seems to be rated at 14%. Who knows if it makes a difference just saying that what I had was good.👌👍

Visiting this pleasant distillery was a good find. I was treated with extra wine sampling and walked away with a great bottle of wine. The staff were very helpful with everything. I will visit again when I’m back in the area. Their winery has won many first place awards. Definitely worth another visit.

The most wonderful experience with the absolute favorite wines in the area. Where to start? For reference, we have tasted wines from many areas of the world in the 1,000s and have done 100s of tasting experiences. Few come close to our wonderful time with the owner (Andrzej). We booked his top of the line tasting, and the wines are phenomenal! Imho the rival the most well-known and way more expensive areas of the world. Locally, there is no competition, in my opinion. The wines are so amazing that I'll be blinding my fancy wine drinker friends just tonsee their face when they find out that it is Canadian wine. I'm 100% sure they are going to lose their mind. I talk about quality first as this has always been my biggest focus. Seldomly, I reference anything else when tasting wine. However, this is a win win, the experience matches the quality. Adrezej has a level of passion for what he does that is rarely witnessed. We enjoyed our visit so much that we made a second stop during our 5 day visit to the area, and this just made the whole trip so much more worthy. My strong suggestion is to try as many of his wines as you can. I'll come back soon just to visit this winery. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. Best gift you can give anyone is a beautiful memory. Cheers !!

After visiting a winery that felt like a seminar and another that felt like a self-serve gas station, Big Head was exactly what we were hoping for. Sean and Cadence were the perfect hosts - genuine, engaging, and effortlessly knowledgeable. They gave us just enough insight to appreciate each pour without overwhelming the experience. It felt personal, relaxed, and refreshingly human. The wines were fantastic, but it was the atmosphere they created that made it unforgettable. This is how wine tasting should feel. We’ll be back, and bringing friends.

Big Head is one of my most absolute favourite wineries in NOTL! From the extremely friendly staff to the delicious wines and fun atmosphere, it's always a great time! THANK YOU to all of the incredible servers who make having a tasting there just so much fun!
Jennifer G — Google review
Very interesting winery with a unique approach. But overpriced and not friendly. Would be better if they didn't charge for a tasting up front and instead make it free if you buy. Having paid the highest price in the area for a tasting, I was not interested in buying any wine. Don't bother going here.

Italian restaurant
Bar
Valley Restaurant is a popular Italian spot known for its fantastic food and service. The restaurant offers a great selection of vegetarian dishes and the option to substitute meat with vegetables in various dishes. Everything, including the pasta and desserts, is made from scratch. Guests have praised the delicious handmade pasta, amazing desserts like limoncello cheesecake and raspberry sorbet, as well as the generous portions. Despite being small, the ambiance gives off an Italian vibe that adds to the dining experience.
Valley restaurant is an excellent dinner spot. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, even on a busy night. (I visited on a holiday) Our server Leticia was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. It is a darker atmosphere that feels cozy and personal, that is brought on by tiny table lamps. The cocktails were delicious. The wine was also great. The starting bread was delicious as well as the entrees. Everything tasted amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely incredible Italian food! The vibe inside is romantic, the staff are amazing, and even the owner came out to check on us, which was such a nice touch. The antipasto board was loaded and delicious, and the homemade pasta was out of this world. Every bite showed the quality and care that goes into the food. Can’t wait to go back and try even more—this place is a true gem!

we showed up for a date night and everything was delicious, i had made the reso for two earlier in the day , but it was busy so i would recommend making one no matter what day/time. We got the bruschetta and our server Alana gave us some sourdough to start, both were very good, I thought the tomato’s on the brushetta were marinated very well. For mains we had the Ravioli avanti?? and theeee… some kind of seafood fettuccini, mine was excellent the duck was cooked to perfection, the fettucini was okay but left something to be desired as it was abit bland in flavor(still well cooked, the shrimp was done well). For dinner we got the tiramisu which is to die for highly recommend getting a slice of that:) Overll great little date night spot, not to pricey and the servers were great nice to find ppl who enjoy there jobs 🫶🏻

Absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! Such friendly people! Multiple people came over to chit chat with us and ask about our day at Sunset Beach. The lady who served us, Pam, was so wonderful! She was polite, courteous, friendly and even spoke to us about her life experiences. The food was really good! We had the spinach ricotta ravioli, a veg salad and Alfredo pasta. Best of all, they even offered the yummiest strawberry gelato ice cream to the kids and limoncello shots to us adults to end the night. Would certainly return to this place!

Stopped in for supper last night to celebrate our anniversaries. Had a great meal and our server Amanda was very nice. She explained everything and made us feel at home with her smile and her witty attitude. I would definitely recommend this restaurant great food and atmosphere.

I heard Valley Restaurant is associated with Cafe Amore also located in St Catharines. The two restaurants have very similar ambience but Valley Restaurant is more intimate and quieter. The menu of Valley Restaurant is pure Italian and their claim of fame is all their pasta are homemade. I liked their pasta, but the cream based sauce was a bit too heavy for my taste and risotto was slightly overcooked. The meat on the other hand was well cooked. Service was excellent.

A Memorable Evening on The Valley's New Patio! Yesterday, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a lovely evening on The Valley's brand new patio. The patio's vibe is a true extension of the well-thought-out ambiance inside, creating a seamless and enjoyable atmosphere. We savored the Cajun Rainbow Trout special, the Pistachio Sweet Potato Ravioli in a cream sauce, and the Veal Parm. But here's where this excellent restaurant truly shines: my wife, a gluten-free vegetarian, was delighted with a lovely pasta dish that came with the unexpected bonus of bread. The exceptional service extended even to our dog! I realized he needed food, so I ordered him some grilled chicken. Not only did the chef personally bring it out to him, but she waited to see if he liked it. My wife and I couldn't help but wonder aloud afterward, "If this is the care and love they put into the food for our dog, imagine the passion they pour into our own meals!" All of this, paired with the exceptional service and delightful company of our server, Eden, made it truly an evening to remember. Thank you, Nadia and your team, for an outstanding experience!

McFarland House, nestled in a serene park-like setting, is a historic gem dating back to the 1800s. Constructed by John McFarland and his sons on land granted by King George III, it stands as one of the few pre-War of 1812 buildings in Niagara-on-the-Lake. During the war, it served as a hospital and army headquarters for both British and American forces. The house also housed a cannon battery aimed at protecting the Niagara River.
McFarland house is located on Niagara Parkway directly on the Niagara river which forms the international boundary between Canada and the United States. Lewiston, New York is directly visible from the property. The home is meticulously maintained and is part of many guided, group tours. The surrounding park has trails, park benches as well as picnic tables, which makes it a great spot to spend time with family and friends and have a barbecue. There are many wineries located in close proximity. Paid parking is available and an admissions ticket is required Absolutely the historic piece of Canadian history. Definitely worth a visit.

We went for the afternoon tea. The grounds are beautiful and the tea room is an elegant. Glassed in area. The 3 tier plate that accompanies the tea includes sandwiches, scones, and various small cakes. The cranberry and blueberry scones were great. The sandwiches and cakes were fine, nothing outstanding. Service was very good.
Sanjoy C — Google review
We visited the McFarland House, Friday July 25 th. Our visit started in the opulent gardens which were such a treat. They were a combination of Country English Garden that combined a fully versatile Kitchen Garden. What a world of abundance we would live in if we all planted with so much purpose and beauty. As we entered the house there were three hosts were bubbling around. They were full of so much joy and laughter. We signed up for a tour of the house to learn about the McFarland House, John McFarland and his family. That house had interesting features including the brickwork and the methods applied in building the house. Very interesting to anyone in construction or architecture. The guide highlighted many original features including peek holes into the original paints. The main stairway which was ahead of its time. The original locking mechanism on the front door. To one of the original cast iron heaters. Upstairs they have set up the main bedroom, a child’s bedroom, a servants room (Which in all likelihood would not have been in the main house.) and as the house was used as a hospital during the war of 1812 there was a soldiers room. This area is ripe in history especially of the war of 1812. It is the focus of the tour. My only disappointment was there was no mention of the history of of our First Nations and how this land came to be in the possession of the McFarlands. Not to takeaway from the families history. Yet to honour the history of these lands and how our country came to be. Our tour was about 45 mins. We had some wonderful conversations with our tour guide and shared some trips down memory lane. We were able to share living history of seeing some of the artifacts in use in our families homes. My Great Grandmother used a chamber pot and a bed warmer her passing in 1979. My Great Aunt always used a wash stand in her bedroom til early 1980’s There was a clay pipe similar to the one my husband had til 2020. We were then fortunate to stay for High Tea in their beautiful Tea Room in the Conservatory. They were served by the tour guides in period dress. The sandwiches were watercress, cucumber and turkey. The scones cheese and chive, berry and plain with jam , cream and butter. Finished with an assortment of desserts and fruits. You have a selection of teas to enjoy. We loved the Scottish Breakfast Tea. I indulged in a mimosa. My only regret was not taking a picture of the Lady with the Pearls. We are making plans to return for the Murder Mystery event they offer. Accessibility of the fist floor was great. Sadly being a period home the 2nd floor would not be available to wheel chair users. I left my walker used my cane and they did provide spots to sit along the way. If you wish to have high tea I would recommend reservations.

The McFarland House was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! The historic charm, lush gardens, and beautifully maintained grounds created the most romantic atmosphere for our special day. From the moment we arrived, it felt timeless and intimate — like we had stepped into a fairytale. The natural beauty of the property meant we hardly needed extra décor, and every spot was picture-perfect for photos. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how stunning and unique the venue was. The staff was also wonderful and ensured everything went smoothly. We are so grateful to have had such a magical place to begin our married life — it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls by visiting the Healing Salt Cave Niagara. This spa offers a variety of relaxation options, including couple massages, flotation therapy, esthetic treatments, and sauna sessions. The natural elements in the salt cave have been proven to provide respiratory, cardiovascular, and dermatological benefits. Visitors can also enjoy Pink Salt Floatation experiences.
I recently experienced a head spa treatment for the first time, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm. The front desk staff, Teresa and Jensen were so welcoming and lovely! The highlight, of course, was the scalp massage. It was deeply relaxing, almost meditative. Maya used pressure to stimulate the scalp, neck, and shoulders. A mix of essential oils and scalp-cleansing serums were applied, followed by a warm steam treatment that opened up the pores and allowed the products to absorb fully. Everything was explained so well, and I felt very relaxed and Maya was also lovely, and made me feel very comfortable during the treatment. After the treatment, my scalp felt clean and rejuvenated—no oiliness, no dryness, just balance. My hair looked shinier, and I noticed less itchiness and flaking in the days after. I also slept incredibly well that night, probably due to how relaxing the entire experience was. Highly recommend!! Amazing place and amazing staff.

Absolutely great experience, a must try for any woman, the salt cave is very enjoyable, i did the hand and foot detox also and really enjoyed it. I suffer from chronic pain and have had a rough few weeks so this was a great time to explore this place. The ladies who work there go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and help you enjoy your pampering session as much as possible. I look forward to coming back and trying other treatments.

What a wonderful experience this place was for both my mother and I. We shared a girls day filled with nothing but the best. Had time in the Himalayan floating spa, then moved over to the salt cave and finished our day off with best massage of my life. would strongly recommend Brent if you’re looking for an RMT! Just two things I did observe while I was there I would make changes on, I would recommend the waiting period between each service was in the lounge and not in the front reception. Also, I did have a shower at the end of all of my services and experienced no hair treatments, no conditioners, no masks, nothing for my hair or body, Other than shampoo… Now you can imagine after a day of salt your hair would need a nice treatment, even if it was there and available for purchase. Or sample sizes for those that ask even. After all of my observations just next time, I would bring my own hair treatment and body wash. However, I am giving this place a 5 star as it was magical, Thank you so much for taking the time to care for us today. What a beautiful experience.

I took my wife there for her birthday, and we booked a package that included the salt cave and massages. From the moment you step into the spa, you feel truly welcomed. The front desk staff—especially Teresa—make you feel completely comfortable with their warm and caring attitude. The spa itself is unique and cozy, and you can definitely sense a healing energy in the atmosphere. The massages were excellent—just what you need to take a break from everyday life. Relaxing in a beautiful salt-wall room, lying on a warm, comfortable bed while enjoying the massage was a truly rejuvenating experience. We definitely recommend this spa and will be coming back soon!

As you walk in, the atmosphere, decor starts to relax you. I have been to a salt cave in Ohio, but this one, much better, with lots if options, massages, salt float, detox, salt cave and more. We tried the Salt cave and the hand/ foot detox. While we were in Salt cave a lady came in with a young child, whom started banging blocks together, since I was there with my daughter I didn't want to complain but once we were done our sessions, I mentioned to staff there should be a separate family time, she didn't need to, nor did we ask but she gave us a credit. We will definitely return, great customer service.

The staff was very nice, the room was nice as well. They have a no cell phone policy, which would be great if they actually enforced it. Do not expect any form of privacy, as the people we were in there with were taking photos the entire time which we were unaware that we were included in. Those images were reposted to the companies social media site. Which I find extremely unacceptable as people are there in robes. If it wasn’t for this, it would’ve been a five star review.

Somerset Bed & Breakfast is an elegant and upscale Colonial-style mansion located in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, offering airy suites with private river-view balconies. The accommodation provides a delicious breakfast on a lovely terrace and is conveniently situated near Fort Mississauga Historical Site, Niagara Golf Club, and Shaw Festival Theatre. With only three rooms, including the spacious Main Suite with the largest balcony, Somerset offers an intimate and luxurious retreat right on the waterfront.
We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Somerset during the Easter weekend. It provided us with a quiet retreat where we could take in the sights and sounds of the lake, but was also conveniently located at two blocks from the shops, restaurants and theatres. The rooms were bright and spacious with complete amenities. The best part was the sumptuous breakfast served in the dining room that looked out to the garden, beach and Lake Ontario. The staff were attentive and kind. Overall, I would recommend Somerset as an outstanding B&B.

Stayed here one night and had the best stay. Wendy was an amazing host, she was so friendly and showed us around when we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed. The room was beautiful, the view was so nice in the morning. It was so clean and organized. We appreciated the complimentary wine and snacks as well. The TV’s came with Netflix which we enjoyed. Bathroom was beautiful and I loved the little vanity for getting ready. The breakfast was so delicious. Enjoyed the benedict and the compote / parfait. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the Niagara area. Would totally come back during the summer. 10/10 stay.

The Somerset is a charming Bed and Breakfast with larger than expected living space facing Lake Ontario, truly exceeded our expectations. We loved our room. It’s a shoes off, extremely clean home with a wonderful homemade custom breakfast that was delicious, made by Wendy. It is a two block walk from the main shopping street. Niagra-on-the-Lake was a perfect two day getaway and next time we will include a bike ride and stay one more night! Thank you to our hosts Shannon and Joerg, you helped to make our trip special.

Wendy was an excellent host and the location and setting are perfect. Beautiful waterfront view and only 10 minutes from the high street restaurants and theatre. Some improvements needed to rooms to justify this price point. Hairdryer old and no nozzle, window pane cracked, some bedding polyester rather than cotton. However we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Overall: we will return in the future. My wife and I visited this bed and breakfast for a two night getaway in July. We had not been in the area before. The house is beautiful and perfectly situated on the water - yet just a short distance from Queen Street. It is taken care of meticulously, including no shoes on the carpet (a rule we appreciated). Everything from the pillows, to the bathrooms, and the fantastic art throughout the house gave a feeling of luxury. The breakfasts were fantastic; we only wished we could have finished them (much bigger breakfasts than we are accustomed). If this property is in your consideration set for a trip to the area, I’d consider your search done.

Bird Kingdom is a must-visit venue in Niagara Falls, offering an unforgettable experience with its diverse collection of birds and reptiles. It boasts the title of the largest free-flying indoor aviary globally, providing a unique opportunity to witness over 400 birds from 80 different species in a multi-level rainforest habitat. This award-winning attraction allows visitors to observe beautiful tropical birds, many of which are endangered in the wild, flying freely within their enclosure.
Bird Kingdom is an absolute must-visit in Niagara Falls! The place is stunning — it feels like stepping straight into a tropical paradise. The highlight of my visit was getting to hold a beautiful parrot and having bright red birds land right in my hands. It was such a magical, unforgettable moment. The variety of birds is incredible, and you can get so close to them in ways you can’t anywhere else. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell they truly care about the animals. Everything was well-kept and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or on your own, Bird Kingdom is an experience that leaves you smiling long after you leave. Highly recommend!

We spent less than an hour here and it was walkable from our hotel so a huge bonus. There are several floors consisting of a variety of museum-type displays, small bird aviaries and select other creatures. The stunner was the actual main aviary itself; saw so much beautiful birds. Favourite was the blue jay, what a spectacle! Buy tickets online in advance to save a few bucks.

This was fun for the whole gang, adults and our children. We had a great time and would definitely come visit again next time we are in the area. Tip for families, leave your jackets in the car because the temperature is set to mimic the birds natural habitats, so it gets hot. If you're wondering whether you should pay extra for the bird feeding experience, yes, you definitely should. So worth it.
Sumbal A — Google review
The Bird Kingdom was such a beautiful experience. We saw birds we didn't even know existed. Nature is fascinating and those birds were so colorful and beautiful. The way they have decorated this aviary was stunning too! Seeing those birds flying around freely was fun and the staff is taking good care of them. I have to say though that if you want to take an option with your entry ticket such as feeding the birds or taking a picture with a bird, the price will be a bit expensive. It cost me around 80$ for my girlfriend and I with the photo with a bird option. But at the end of the day, this is for a good cause. It was worth every penny ! Animal lovers, if you're in Niagara Falls, you need to visit the Bird Kingdom. PS: The parking ain't free.

Out of my weeklong stay at Niagra Falls, this was one of the best stops in my travel. This place offered an up-close encounter with hundreds of birds, some that I've never even heard of. It was wonderful to see the majority of them outside of cages, and each bird was treated with such love and respect that is so inspiring to see. Each worker there knew the birds by name, and you could easily tell they cared deeply for them all. The building itself was 4 story tall aviary with multiple rooms, and massive enclosure with a waterfall. You can easily spend two or more hours here before you even know it. Some sections had other animals including turtles, sugar gliders, and a skunk! I have no clue why others would leave any bad reviews. The place was clean and beautifully maintained, and perfect for families and children. There are restrooms, a gift shop, and a parking lot right at the front entrance. You can pay additional for feedings and pictures, but even with the basic entrance the birds can be found flying all around you. Out of every zoo or bird sanctuary I've ever visited, this was the closest I've ever been to the animals. If we ever come back to this area, this would be my first stop!!

Had a blast of a time at the Bird Kingdom. Was a last minute add on while we were on our trip. Bought tickets online and was fast and easy. From the start to the end, it was fun seeing the history and all the animals (not just birds at the Bird Kingdom). Got passes for the kids to feed the birds and they loved it. Also did the scavenger hunt and the kids had fun looking for all the answers and clues. Definitely would recommend going and explore.

Visited this place in October. The place appears close by from Oakes Garden Theater park but it is a 5 min walk from the major intersection. But it was fun walking under the bridge and seeing the border up close. There is a Presto discount you can get in person and it cost us around 18$ per person. At first we were expecting disappointment as the place was a little cramped and felt claustrophobic. But the shows kept coming. There are three levels, you climb up the levels and watch the exhibits and then you enter the final aviary which was all three floors combined. There were lots, I mean lots of birds and you can experience them close by. If you are a bird photographer, this is your Disneyland! We really enjoyed this place and felt it was a well worth of the money and time. It does feel hot and humid inside (for the birds) so you might get used to the sweating. Have to talk about the bathrooms of the first level, it was like a time travel back to 1950s and using the bathroom. Wonderfully maintained that I had to take a picture of it. Also another gotcha, there are many birds hovering above your heads, so what you think may happen and did happen. Just be cautious what’s above your head :) Would definitely recommend this place for older seniors as there is not much walking or waiting involved. But since the place is tiny, I would not recommend in summer when the crowds are high. May be in winter time or less seasoned weekday would do. Took us about 2 hours to leisurely see this place. Definitely recommend this place.

Haven’t been here since I was a kid and had a great time! There’s so many different birds to see and you’re able to get quite close to many of them which is cool. I took all of my photos using my phone camera. They also have other animals like snakes, bats, turtles, frogs etc. Parking on site is $5/hour. We stayed for about an hour in total. Went through the little museum at the beginning pretty quickly.

Konzelmann Estate Winery is a top destination in Niagara-on-the-Lake, offering a range of wine experiences amidst scenic views of Lake Ontario. The winery provides educational tastings and tours, including unique options like vineyard dome tastings. With over 30 years of wine production, the estate is known for its outstanding Canadian wines and attention to the diverse mesoclimates within the region.
If you're in the Niagra-on-the-Lake region and looking for a good winery to visit and taste some fine wines, Konzelmann Estate Winery is definitely a great option to include on your itinerary. The winery already charms us with its structure, reminiscent of old winery castles, and right at the entrance, you have a view of the vibrant grape plantation. The location has its own parking lot, but it may be full, so check some nearby parking spots. For customers with disabilities, the location has no stairs to the store and tasting areas, and all reception is handled by staff, allowing for a smooth transition between areas. The restrooms are adapted to accommodate customers, so you can rest assured during your visit. If you plan to taste on-site, check by phone or social media to see if there are suitable times and days. The winery store is beautiful, featuring all the wines produced on-site, as well as other products. It's definitely worth including in your itinerary.

Konzelmann Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a picturesque retreat set amid sprawling vineyards, offering a serene and beautiful setting. The vintage-style building is stunning, both inside and out, exuding classic charm that enhances the overall experience. The wine is truly divine—rich, flavorful, and well-crafted. The tasting session was enjoyable, allowing us to savor some excellent selections. However, the experience was slightly marred when our assigned staff member left mid-tasting for their break, leaving us momentarily unattended. For a paid experience, better coordination would have been ideal. Despite this hiccup, Konzelmann Winery remains a lovely spot for wine lovers. Just be aware that while the vineyard views are gorgeous, there’s no access to walk among the vines. Still, a great visit overall.

I felt bad for underestimating this winery. You don’t usually see many varieties of red wine from Konzelmann at the LCBO, but their selection here truly impressed me. All the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our guide, Gabriella, was amazing — she knew so much about wine, had a great sense of humor, and even took beautiful photos of us. Thank you! I can’t wait to try the Malbec barrel-aged red — such a unique and complex taste, like a rainbow of flavors! It has so much more with a sip! Absolutely amazing experience.

Konzelmann Winery in Niagara on the Lake is absolutely beautiful! The view from the upstairs area is impressive. You can see the vineyards and the lake, making it the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. Their peach wine slushies are also amazing! Refreshing, fun, and perfect for a warm day. Cute little backyard area to sit. It's definitely worth a visit!

We did a tour and tasting. The view from the winery is beautiful. We could see the lake. Tour was okay. She was okay. I felt it’s rushed. It’s a crowded place. So many people were there come and go. We wanted to try other wine too but the staff was too busy to deal with us. Peach wine was tasty. We bought one. Konzelmann is good for the experience and short stop to sample.

What a great tasting, with the joyful Donna as our master tastery-teacher! She told so much that I have forgotten what to remember. What I do remember is why we visited: icewine! Absolutely great taste, not to winey, but more the liquor I wanted and expected. And the view from the Winery to Toronto: priceless! Konzelmann and Donna won me over. But also the other staff members. Lovely place and a joy also for non-drinkers like me!

We had an amazing time at Konzelmann Estate Winery! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Each wine we tasted had distinct, delicious flavors – it was clear how much care goes into their winemaking. We enjoyed every moment of the tasting experience and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake!

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable. He made our wine tasting such an amazing experience as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. We learned a lot from him, and he took his time to answer all our questions with great detail! This winery has a family-owned feel to it, which separates them from others. Highly recommend. Not to mention they have delicious peach wine!

Located on the historic site of the Foxhead Inn, Niagara Brewing Company is a spacious and charming brewpub that offers a variety of craft beers and artisanal snacks. The brewery is renowned for its innovative beer selection, such as the Honeymoon Peach Radler with hints of ginger and a delightful peach finish, as well as the limited-edition Niagara Icewine Beer that combines traditional lager flavor with the sweetness of Icewine.
Our last night was Oct 10 and my best friend and I decided to sample a flight of Ale. I have more of a sweet tooth and enjoyed the raspberry sour and the peach radler. Our server Dan was kind and attentive and made sure to explain the options to us even when he was busy. The ambiance was nice especially since they had live music. We didn’t get a chance to try the food since we ate previously but definitely will come back if the opportunity comes up.

Service was exceptional—our server was friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the service. The kitchen was noticeably slow, and when the food arrived, it felt like a letdown. The meatball sandwich was dry, and the sausage lacked flavor—needing a heavy hand of condiments just to make it enjoyable. Great location and vibe, and the beer selection was decent, but the food quality left a lot to be desired. With some kitchen improvements, this place could be a solid stop.
Anthony D — Google review
Brewery reliant on guaranteed custom from the amount of tourism here. Service was slow, not interested and yet expectant on a tip. Food was cold, which is no wonder when it sat on the side for 15 minutes waiting for the server to collect it- which in the end someone else did whilst our server just ambled around. 3 other servers ignored it despite it not being overly busy. To their slight credit, a discount was given for the cold food but it needed pressing. The beer was fine, despite them trying to charge for a second beer that was not had. I certainly would not return here or even recommend this place even for beer fans. The server tried to explain it was very busy, which at around 25% of tables taken, is hard to believe. There was live music which was too loud and the quality of this was summed up with absolutely zero applause. Location however is good and would be a great place if they took on people who actually cared about working.

We stopped in after stopping by the taproom earlier. They were busy and had live music and the bar was packed with a handful of families as well. We were sat immediately but definitely took awhile before someone stopped by to get our order. We asked for the Lavender Gose and mentioned that we would have to wait till the happy hour start (maybe 8 minutes till) before putting that order in so we just went with their signature cocktail (a raspberry lemonade, cant quite recall) and that was pretty good. We just asked to close out after but our server wasn't very friendly overall and not great service.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Located on the main strip. Lots of parking at the main parking area. Must try their peach radlar.

Great beer selection with live music. Lauren was looking after us this afternoon. I can happily say Lauren changed my opinion of the service available in Niagara. Beer was excellent Lauren was 5 star with her attentiveness and such a happy pleasant young lady. Lauren was a definite asset to the bar. Thank you.

We stopped by after visiting the falls, and we’re so glad we did! The beer was refreshing, and the food was great. However, they were overshadowed by our server. Joe was fantastic! I haven't had such great service in a long time. He was attentive, had a great sense of humor, and was super energetic! I didn't do everything I wanted to in the area, so I will be back. When I do come back, I hope Joe is working.

Wayne Gretzky Estates is a renowned winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake that offers more than just wine. It also produces Canadian whiskies, spirits, and beer. The estate provides various experiences such as seated wine tastings, distillery tastings, tours, seasonal events, and even ice skating on their rink. Visitors can enjoy the large free parking area and capture memories at the wooden archway entrance.
My wife and her cousin and I went on the whisky tour then ate on the patio at the wine tasting area. The night before, I had picked up my wife and cousin after they spent the afternoon there. The staff kept saying, “welcome back”. lol Confession: I’m more of a whisky enthusiast and foodie than I am a hockey fan. I’m happy to report that I’m definitely a Wayne Gretzky fan after eating and Drinking at his establishment!!! The food was delicious and I was really impressed by the quality of the whisky they produce. No. 99 will be regular stop on our future visits to the area.

Fantastic pizza, delicous cold drinks..... From the second we came here we were greeted by the friendliest staff. Food service was super fast and the food was delicious. ( smoked meat pizza ) is my recommendation. It was perfect ❤ After a great lunch we all did a tour of the distillery..... A huge shout-out to LIAM! ( our tour guide ) what an amazing character, funny and extremely knowledgeable. Made the tour and the end of the afternoon so much fun. The tour was great, tried some delicious drinks and came out of there buying a bottle of the vanilla liqueur and a bottle of #99 whisky sour . Amazing place to spend a whole day eating, drinking and laughing. Can't wait to come back! Thank you Wayne Gretzky Estates! Wonderful memories have been made here.

We visited Wayne Gretzky Estates for a tasting in the Club Room and had such a great time. Our server, Lisa, was fantastic! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and really made the experience feel special. The tasting itself was excellent, and to top it off we ended with a round of cocktails. The highlight was a fun little murder mystery game that actually earned us a free cocktail for our next visit. Such a unique and memorable touch! Can’t wait to come back.

Wayne Gretzky Estates Niagara-on-the-Lake is unlike any winery I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere was so relaxed and genuinely family-friendly, which is something I’ve never experienced on a wine tour before. It almost felt like a big park in the back, where adults could sip wine and cocktails while kids played and enjoyed the space. The shop was really cool, filled with classic hockey photos and Gretzky memorabilia. I loved the casual, upbeat vibe of the whole place. There’s also a restaurant on-site, which I didn’t get a chance to try this time, but it looked great. I heard there’s even a skating rink in the winter, which sounds amazing! Overall, it was alive, happening, and just a fun place to be, especially for families.

As wine club members, my wife and I visit Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery a couple of times a year. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are always friendly. We recently took the cocktail making class, which was a fantastic experience thanks in part to our instructor, Ken. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made sure the class was fun for all. We made three cocktails (each more delicious than the last). Highly recommend stopping by Wayne Gretzky Estates if you are in the area, sign up for the cocktail class with Ken if available, it's a perfect complement to their wine tasting.

Fun tour to do while in niagara on the lake. The tasting was enjoyable trying red and white wine along with their famous whiskey and whiskey cream. Delicious! They also provided a discount on bottles at the shop after completion of the tour. The restaurant was also pretty good just wish it had abit more shade.

We have come many times and has almost become a tradition to stop here at Wayne Gretzky's to pay homage to the great one and to stock up some of his wines. Today we did a tasting and really liked the ice wine and whiskey . The beauty of doing a taste and gives you a discount at the store!
DR. T — Google review
Canadian wine isn't really my thing, but I enjoyed a pleasant enough visit to Wayne Gretzky Estate winery on a recent trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The wine is downright bad (I am sorry to say this, but I would call it completely undrinkable), but the grounds and setting of the winery is top notch. Wayne knows what the people want, and he delivers - just not in the category of tasty wine. The winery itself is modern and welcoming. As a hockey fan, I especially appreciated all of the memorabilia of Wayne's record-breaking days as a professional athlete in the NHL. Take some time to browse so you can see it all. Also, be sure to check out the well-curated gift shop, which features some cute hockey and wine themed merchandise. We arrived in the evening without a reservation, and luckily the hostess said she could find a space for us. The tasting room was very busy, but we had a high top table for two. I noticed the clientele was mostly female / groups of women who looked like those "see and be seen" type of ladies, all decked out in designer shoes and handbags with perfect makeup and hair. This is a great place for a girls' night out, with its welcoming yet chic atmosphere. We opted for two different tastings from the menu so we could have a nice variety of wines. We chose a range from white, reds, and dessert wines, and there was absolutely nothing to our liking. We were also hungry and I was delighted they had a modest food menu (we ordered the warm baguette with whipped maple whisky butter for $10) which was tasty enough, if not Earth shattering). The tasting itself was just okay. The service was prompt and our knowledgeable hostess answered all of our questions (but wasn't much on small talk). The major problem I had is that she was doused in stinky perfume. This is a huge no-no at a winery, and whenever she came by to check on us or to deliver something to a nearby table, all I could smell was her perfume. It's not that it smelled rank or anything, but it really did interfere with the taste of the wine. The wines were very low quality, and I couldn't bring myself to take more than two tastes of each one. I guess if I had to drink something it would be the dessert wine, which was creamy yet the overpowering maple is definitely an acquired taste. Note that tastings are pricey and bottles are as well. There's a separate bar for tasting spirits and a stunning outdoor patio area if you want to come and hang a while. I'd definitely return here for the grounds and setting alone, but I'm going to pass on the wine.

Delicious wine and average food in a beautiful setting. Ordered the porkbelly sandwich which was not properly trimmed as there was more fat than meat. The sandwich eventually disintegrated as it was so greasy and I ended up using a knife and fork to finish. When our server asked how our food was and we mentioned the amount of fat, the server only replied sorry about that. When our table was being cleared, a different staff member asked how how lunch was and when we mentioned the amount of fat (and showed the left over fat on the plate), he also just said sorry and indicated that pork belly is like that. In hind sight, I should have asked for a little bowl of pork to replace the fat, but that is on me and a lesson learned for the future. Definitely a great place to have a drink, service was friendly (maybe unsure of handle issues).

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary trip to Niagara, and even our Uber driver told us how popular this place was, he said he brings people here all the time, so I was already super excited! When we arrived, Stevie welcomed us right away, and even though I had booked the wrong date 😅, he was so kind and accommodating. He still managed to set us up for a tour without any issue. Our tour guide, Doug, honestly made the entire experience unforgettable. He was super chill, funny, and so knowledgeable. The tour felt really personal, and he made sure we had time to take pictures and enjoy every part of it, he was incredibly patient with us. Later on, we also met Nick, who was just as amazing, so friendly, cheerful, and welcoming! Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and one of the biggest highlights of our trip. If you plan on doing a tour, if you can, definitely request Doug to be your tour guide, he’s the best! Oh, and don’t skip the ice wine, it’s delicious!

We received the wine tour and tasting for two as part of the hotel package. And it is amazing. We had a great time here. Our tour guide is informative. During the tour, we get to taste 4 different types of their product. After the tour, we ordered some food in their dining area and got more tasting. The staff is very patient and helpful when we struggle which wine to choose for tasting. She gave good info of each type and help us by asking our preference. The cheese board and mushroom soup look very appealing and delicious. We love it!

Terrible customer service. We went to see Dwayne Gretzky, the last of the summer concert series of 2025 so you would think they had all the bugs worked out. Nope. We tried to buy a bottle of wine to consume in their courtyard prior to the show and were sent from the outdoor line up (which we waited in), to the tasting room, which she also said no even after being sent there by the lady outside. We were then sent to the bar at the restaurant who tried to send us back to the tasting room, until I told them the fiasco. Who knew it would be so hard to get a bottle of wine at a winery? We chose the bottle and noticed it was $10 more from the bar than from the tasting room. We enquired and were told it was a corking fee. I have never, ever had a corking fee from a winery when they are opening their own product! Ridiculous, total money grab. Then a bit later we lined up again at the outdoor kiosk to get a couple cans of cider, told to go in to the bar again. Got into the bar to order cans of cider, they only had one can available. All the staff were frazzled, stressed and frankly terrible. I would never go here again for a tasting, meal or event (even though Dwayne Gretzky killed it)! Disorganized, cranky staff and a corking fee for their own bottles is a hard no from me, here on out. PS the actual event staff, in the red shirts were freaking amazing! So fun, friendly, helpful, we loved interacting with them! We especially loved Anne, with an e, she was THE BEST!!

Had a great time visiting Inniskillin! It was our first time coming here and we were very impressed. The property is beautiful. There's an area for the restaurant as well as the winery - which is what we came for. The wine selection is fantastic! You can order per glass or try one of their sampling options that give you multiple drinks. The showstopper was the Icewine! Wow! Absolutely delicious. The staff is great and super helpful. We didn't feel rushed or silly asking questions about the wine. Inside the winery, they have a nice size retail area with all the wines available for purchase as well as other gift type items. Would definitely recommend Inniskillin if you're touring the area! Grab a glass or flight and enjoy a beautiful day outside on the property.

My pup and I had a wonderful visit to Inniskillin Wines. The property is beautifully maintained with plenty of seating options—tables and lounge chairs outside, plus air-conditioned indoor seating that was perfect on a hot day. I especially appreciated how dog-friendly the staff and winery are, both inside and out. I did a tasting of all three ice wines, which costs $40, and learned a lot about their production. If you spend over $50 on wines, then you get $10 off your tasting. Although we didn’t have time to eat, the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making it easy to see why this winery has such a great reputation.

The reputable Inniskillin Winery is worth a visit. An hour long tour with wine tasting cost $30, on a first come first serve basis. The tour ticket gets you a $10 discount on any wine purchase. We visited today and found out that their signature Gold Vidal Icewine was on sale with $10 off. Along with the $10 discount from the tour, with a total of $20 discount, which was a very good deal.

Came for lunch and did a tasting. Food was good, service was good, wine was good, so nothing to complain about. I had the peach burger and my husband had the brisket sandwich (peach burger was our favourite). Of all the wines, the sparkling ice wine was most interesting that we left with a bottle.

An iconic stop for ice wine lovers. Our first winery stop in the region. We arrived shortly after opening and found a few groups already sipping wine on the lawn. Plenty of parking, and unlike some other wineries in the area, no drawn-out tours or gimmicky tastings. Just a straightforward, well-run setup. We went with their standard three-wine tasting ($25–$30 depending on the selections), which allowed two dry wines and one ice wine. Since it was still early in the day, we didn’t want to start with an all-sugar lineup. Inniskillin is a pioneer in Canadian ice wine and Gold Vidal was where it first started. So of course, we tried their signature Gold Vidal, which was described as bright and peach-forward. Unfortunately, we found the sweetness a bit overpowering. Our favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon Ice Wine. Still rich and sweet but with a touch of red fruit depth that made it more tolerable. All the dry wines we tried were relatively mundane. Nice bonus: tastings come with discounts on wine purchases over a certain amount. Since we picked up a few bottles, we got $20 off our total (just over $100).

I have tried their wine a few times on restaurant menus over the years, but it was my first time visiting. Lovely winery, friendly staff and beautiful grounds with a picturesque patio. Did a tasting, the standout by far was the Vidal Icewine, this is the best I’ve ever tasted, perfectly balanced, sweet but not overly sweet and not too syrupy like some others I’ve tried. So good I bought 2 bottles, can’t wait to enjoy!

8-8-25 not a casino guy but on the way back from falls got inside and spent half an hour. The security searched a lot at entrance and inside was not as doom as other casinos I have been visited. There are parking valet and ADA access.

I've heard this casino is going to shut down but I like it better than the Fallsview they have some old machines which are really fun to play on. very nice casino

I had a great time, won $22 and stopped. I am never a gambler but love entertainment. We were the only one screaming for a $.25 bonus win. I just couldn’t stop noticing a lot of seniors just clicking with a very depressing look, a few searching for left something on the slot machines I reckon probably tried to see if someone left something. I can see how casinos can be addictive. We had issues with our cash getting stuck more than once but there’s a button for help and Staff came. Lovely staff. There’s a bar/resto and also there’s free regular drinks. Not too busy for early Saturday afternoon.

I wasn’t planning to visit Casino Niagara, but the front desk receptionist at our hotel insisted it was the best place to exchange my currency. When I got there, I expected a traditional counter with a teller, but instead, I found a sleek, automated currency exchange machine tucked away in the corner of the casino floor. It was quick, efficient, and surprisingly easy to use—modern convenience at its finest. Of course, standing there amidst the flashing lights and the cheerful hum of slot machines, it was hard not to feel drawn in. The machines seemed to call out to me, each one more colorful and inviting than the last. I told myself I’d just play a few games, for the experience. I sat down at one of the slots, slipped in a few bills, and gave it a spin. The first game gave me a modest win—just enough to encourage a second try. I could feel my heart race with every spin, the sounds of coins clinking and jackpot music playing in the background adding to the excitement. But luck, as expected, wasn’t on my side for long. After a few more attempts, I decided to leave before I got too carried away. As I stepped out into the crisp Niagara air, I felt strangely satisfied. I hadn’t won big, but the rush of the moment and the spontaneous detour made it worth it. Casino Niagara had a way of pulling you in, even when you had no plans to stay.

Really bad experience. staff were very unhappy and unfriendly in the casino. Two of us at roulette table couldn’t reach to place our bets, and when we asked the dealer to help, he refused and complained that he doesn’t work for free. Even though we were losing, I didn't even win 1 round that I could've tip him. He still showed a terrible attitude, Every round of spin would take 5 to 10 minutes and he was laughing to himself awkwardly. Very unprofessional and not worth coming back.

Wow! Game seven of the World Series this place is pretty packed. The entire place went dark for two seconds now every single machine is booting and people have their money in them. Lots of not happy people! NEVER EVER coming here again! After the machine started to boot up, ours did not we were told there were only three people with iPads walking around and we would have to wait our turn so we had to leave the money in the machine and walk out of the place.THEFT!!!!!

I walked out a winner. I was able to continue to play 2 days. I played my favorite slot machines on their dime. So nice when that happens!!! I had several ppl come sit by me and they won too. The nice lady from Illinois won 7500. I was very happy for her. My winnings was 1400 but I had a great trip. I was happy that my parking was covered as my membership card was upgraded from Core to Encore. The pics attached has the casino tower in upper left of photo. I preferred this casino over the fancier one. They are both Mohegan owned casinos. I added new pic below of my highest win at this casino. I also won 3172 on Dragon Link playing 2 dollars 10$ bet on another visit and forgot to take a pic. But trust me when I say I have visited multiple times and lost my money. The casino is ahead. The house always wins.

Caroline Cellars, a family-owned winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, exudes a rustic charm that feels like a step back in time. The property, named after Caroline who helped her children purchase it, boasts a 1970s ambiance with its wood interior and vintage decor. With four generations of grape-growing tradition from Germany and Canada, the winery takes pride in producing exceptional wines on prime grape-growing soil.
Local winery and farm cafe in NOTL area. Farm settings with local food, I tried their fresh lake perch with their own seasonal breading, it is delicious, well balanced not dry and very tasty. The server will recommend their own wine to pair with. After lunch, we go to their winery for tasting, you mush try as they can find their products in LCBO, because of small production, they only sell on site. They have passion for wine and ice wine. At last we get the wine related funny towel as souvenirs. 😁

Stopped by for lunch twice because I loved their French onion soup so much, it’s a perfection. Condensed flavor of onion and generous amount of cheese. It’s great to pair with their rose wine. Also their pricing is generous as $6-7 for a glass of wine. No wonder why this place is so popular.
Shoko N — Google review
We had the burger, shrimp taco, chicken sandwich, and beef dip French sandwich. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. The service was excellent and the staff were all very kind and helpful, which made the experience enjoyable. If I had to mention a couple of small points, the vegetables could have been a bit fresher and the meat could use just a touch more spice for extra flavor. Overall, though, it was a great meal and I would definitely recommend Caroline Cellars.

This was our first time at the Caroline Cellars restaurant, and we really liked it. The restaurant was very busy, so we had to make a reservation two days in advance. Everything we tried was very tasty, but the highlights were the shrimp tacos and the trout—both were absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the wine; they had a good selection of wines by the glass, and the ones we chose were excellent. The service was good, the prices reasonable, and we will certainly be back next time we’re in NOTL.

This was the first stop on our wine tour, and it ended up being our absolute favourite! 🍷 The selection of wines was fantastic, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible service from Doug Johnston. He took the time to learn our individual preferences and made personalized recommendations that we all loved. We could’ve easily spent the whole day chatting with him about our lives! We’ll definitely be coming back in the summertime — can’t wait!

We stumbled upon this cozy spot tucked away in a cellar and were pleasantly surprised. Despite the place being completely full, we added our name to the waiting list and were seated fairly quickly. The ambiance was charming and rustic, with a welcoming atmosphere. We tried both the panini and the burger. The panini was satisfying—crispy bread and generous filling—but the burger definitely stole the show: juicy, flavorful, and stacked with fresh toppings. The side salad with both dishes was fresh and balanced things out nicely. Service was friendly but a bit slow, and there were a couple of small mistakes with our order. Still, the staff handled it with grace and kept the experience positive overall. Would return for that burger alone, and hopefully next time the service will be a bit more on point.

Caroline Cellars made our visit unforgettable. We enjoyed a wine flight and a birthday lunch that was out of this world. The wines were beautifully balanced, and the food was fresh, flavourful, and generous. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a celebration. I can’t recommend it highly enough, an absolute must visit!

An absolutely wonderful spot in the heart of Ontario! The wine is outstanding — rich, aromatic, and truly delightful. The food is delicious, with portions that are huge and more than expected. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is warm and attentive. A perfect place for anyone who appreciates local products, genuine flavors, and a homely touch. We will definitely be coming back! 🍷✨

Between The Lines Winery, located at 991 Four Mile Creek Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, offers a charming experience for wine enthusiasts. Visitors can indulge in wine tastings accompanied by cheese and charcuterie platters while also enjoying vineyard tours and exploring the boutique store. This family-run winery provides a delightful range of wines without the pretension often found at larger establishments.
What a surprisingly wonderful experience on a rainy day in Niagara on the Lake! Small wineries do make the best wine! We booked the decadent experience with delicious food and wine. Our hostess Elaine was super generous and energetic! She offered us extra tastings, at no charge, because we were interested in other wines. She recommended food pairings and shared the story of the 2 brothers who own the winery. We bought a 6 pack of cans, loved the idea of the small portions. Every wine we tasted was smooth and delicious, no headache ! Highly recommend the experience! We will be ordering online as the wine is not available in store.

Loved everything about Between the Lines Winery. It was easy to make a reservation online and our tasting experience was fairly priced. Kudos to Brian, who shared a lot of good information and insights with us about the wines, he made our visit great! We like reds, so that's what we sampled, and what we tried we liked. The Cabernet Franc, 2022 Reserve Cabernet Leon, 2021 Reserve Lemberger, and 2021 Reserve Pinot Noah are all delicious. We also really enjoyed the ice wine. Who would have thought adding four drops of Red Hot sauce to ice wine would produce such a delicious taste? To sum up: Between the Lines Winery is fun, educational, and offers many tasty wines you'll probably want to take home.

Came in here today for a wine tasting and our experience was fantastic. Ralf and Freya were wonderful, so knowledgeable and friendly. It’d always nice to hear the history and backstory of how these wineries started. We felt so welcome. Definitely give this place a visit Their ice wine is divine!

Between the Lines is a rustic family owned winery in NOTL. The 2 brothers Greg and Yannick Wertsch are focused on experimentation and innovation in wine making. You cant miss the big red barn when driving thru the wine region! Everyone was friendly and the wines were enjoyable. The tasting area is casual and while you sip you are surrounded by barrals aging and their tanks. We did the Black Glass Tasting which is a guided blind tasting of 4 wines. It was a fun way to learn about the wines, flavors and aromas. We guessed 3 of the 4 correctly! The Lemberger was my favorite: a noble grape known for its persistence and quality in the cooler climates of Austria and Germany-also known as Blaufränkisch. We brought a bottle home with us. My rating rationale for beer, wine, or spirits: +1 Service +1 Atmosphere/Vibe +1 Taste/Quality (Flavor, aroma, and overall quality of the beverage) +1 Presentation (Glassware, garnishes, and visual appeal of the drinks) +1 Selection/Variety (Range of beer, wine, or spirit options and uniqueness of offerings)

I had an amazing time yesterday with a wine tasting at the fantastic Between the Lines Winery. Elaine our host did an amazing job sharing about the history of the winery, the difference between white wines (Chardonnay, Riesling and Gewuerztraminer) and red wines (Pinot noir and Cabernet merlot), I learnt a lot about how wines is made and the process of wine in the barrel compared to open containers. Elaine was super helpful in suggesting what food most wine pairs great with. After the tasting I feel super educated on how to shop for wines. If you ever get to experience this tour make sure and try the winter iced wine and the red pepper jelly, tell Elaine that I sent you. One last thing I love how this winery is family oriented.

We went on a one day getaway trip with my partner. It's 1h30-2h trip from Toronto. The team was welcoming and everything quite detailed. We had charcuterie and local ontario cheese paired with wine tasting (4 glasses). We just wished a tour was possible with the food option so we may do both. As a European native person, it truly gave me a vibe of home🙏🏽 Would definitely recommend

Bella Terra Vineyards is a family-owned winery with a rich history of grape cultivation in Niagara since 1974. Situated on a 50-acre grape farm in the prestigious Four Mile Creek sub-appellation, this picturesque spot offers guided Reserve tastings and self-guided walking tours around the vineyard pond to experience their unique terroir. Visitors can enjoy a variety of red and white wines while taking in the scenic views from Muskoka chairs overlooking the pond.
This vineyard was our destination for my best friend’s bachelorette party! It was such a cute spot. When we arrived, it was quite busy, so we didn’t get to sit inside but no complaints there since the weather was decent and we were happy to sit outside instead. We shared a charcuterie board, and each of us ordered different glasses of wine. I tried their Chardonnay. It was delightful and smoky, just the way I like it. I also loved the outdoor view of their big Bella Terra sign. If the sun had been out, it would’ve made for a perfect photo spot.

My fiancé and parents and I came here to tour the space as our potential wedding venue. We met with Grace Foster who was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable, detailed, organized, and friendly. She answered all of our questions and took us through the venue which was gorgeous. During our time going over the package we were given complimentary sparkling, white, and red wine which were all so yummy. We bought two bottles and enjoyed the outdoors, inside was air conditioned and very updated. Would love to visit again!

We had such an amazing experience at Bella Terra Winery! We did a wine tasting and were lucky enough to be guided by Monica, who was absolutely fantastic. She was so warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable — her passion for wine really shines through. Monica gave us thoughtful pairing suggestions and shared so many interesting details about each wine, making the tasting not only enjoyable but also educational. The wines were outstanding (we loved them so much we became wine club members!), and the entire atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Thanks to Monica, this visit was truly a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend a stop at Bella Terra — and if you can, ask for Monica!

Beautiful Winery giving a traditional homestyle farm/vineyard to table experience. We just walked in and were seated in the back tasting room. We tried 8 wines, their focaccia dish and pita chips with hummus. We also got a couple of their wine slushies , so good! We were very impressed by the our servers knowledge on the different wines and what would work best for pairings and also making cocktails. We couldn’t help but purchase 6 bottles of our favourites from the tastings. It was somewhat busy for a Tuesday afternoon and can imagine how busy it gets during the weekend.

One of the best vineyards in Niagara! Their portfolio of reds & whites will please everyone, plus sparkling and rosé. We love this winery so much we joined their wine club and have since upgraded to VIP. They have wonderful events and they have managed to grow while maintaining their roots, an intimate experience where you feel like family. Shout out to Maureen for great service. Do not hesitate to visit and indulge in a fabulous charcuterie to accompany their great wines!
Stephanie M — Google review
Visited the place with a group of six, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. While the venue itself is beautiful, the service was unprofessional and inattentive. We ordered martini that were supposed to come with frozen grapes, but they were missing. When we asked for them, the server said that she couldn't find them and believed the grapes wouldn’t make a difference. Frankly, it’s just about providing what was stated on the menu. That response felt dismissive and unhelpful. On top of that, we were a party of six but were only given five glasses of water, five sharing plates, and just three forks. No one checked in on us, and overall, we felt ignored and unwelcome. It's unfortunate, because the setting has so much potential, but I won't be able to come again.

Embracing biodynamic practices and benefiting from the distinctive Canadian terroir, Strewn Winery takes pride in producing Bordeaux reds with more complex and intense flavors than those found in warmer climates.
What a truly special experience. Strewn Winery is one of our very favorites in Niagara. We had a spectacular lunch. Everything was so delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Joey, and it was a real treat. His passion, skill, and talent is reflected in every one of his creations. Paula took care of us throughout lunch, and she was terrific. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very special. The wines are stellar. I recently booked an Outdoor Wine Tasting & Vineyard Tour at Strewn and was blown away by the experience. Their customer service, wine expertise and communication provided deserve a full five stars from when I first walked in to the moment I left. Finding the place was easy. The wine was great! As far as peak times (we went on a Saturday) it was not ridiculously busy which was exactly what we wanted. There were some other groups around but the space has a great layout and we were not disturbed whatsoever. If you are thinking about doing something like this, look no further. I would have done the culinary/dining experience too but we might save that for another time or pay day. Honestly though, the price was very reasonable and I would not bat an eye to do it again based on the value being offered. - TIP: Ask about the Cabernet Franc if you're a fan of red's. Finally, a big hats off to Paul, the Director of Estate Services and Cody, Consultant for their excellent service! Everyone in the establishment was hospitable and pleasant. - By the way, I planned a surprise for my girlfriend here with top tier advice from Paul and he was the wingman of my dreams! She didn't see it coming, IYKYK. Give them a go, you'll thank me later.

It was a fabulous moment when I first encountered this vineyard. First, entered this gorgeous building, and the friendly staff ushered me to the tasting venue. Before tasting, he led me to the extensive and almost limitless vineyard to explain the terroir and flavours of the grapes. After that, I took a sip of all the signature 🍇 wines 🍾 which I am sticking around my head of The Red Blend which aged in amphora. It's not soaked yet gushed and popped out long-aged grapes. That was phenomenal. Thank you, Richard!

Niagara Speedway is a thrilling amusement ride that merges the excitement of go-karts with a roller coaster-style track, featuring spiral ramps and hairpin turns. Located in Clifton Hill, it's part of an array of attractions including the Niagara Skywheel and Hornblower Niagara Cruises. The Speedway offers a multi-level experience where visitors can test their driving skills on North America's largest elevated go-kart track.
Great experience and ride. Multi-level track with fast cars. Would like a longer time than 5 minutes per session but still a great track and right in the middle of clifton hills attractions.
Brian B — Google review
Niagara Speedway is definitely a fun and unique go-kart experience. The multi-level track with ramps and curves makes it much more exciting than a regular go-kart ride, and it’s especially enjoyable for families and groups of friends. The karts are in good condition and the overall atmosphere is energetic and entertaining. However, one downside is the long wait and crowd management. The place can get very busy, and unfortunately, line-cutting happens quite often, which makes the waiting experience frustrating. It would be great if staff could enforce the rules more strictly to keep the line fair for everyone. Overall, it’s worth trying at least once when visiting Niagara Falls—the track itself is fantastic and super fun, but just be prepared for long lines and some patience.
Kevin L — Google review
I stopped by late morning and there was no line at all so weekdays are definitely the best time to visit. The helmets were in good condition and being cleaned as soon as riders returned them. After a worker scanned my ticket at the turnstile, I was directed to hop into a cart. I had my backpack with me but was able to just buckle it into the side seat instead of using the lockers at the front. I started off slow as the first cart and the drivers behind must've been used to this track so they sped ahead of me. In hindsight it was actually a much better experience for me. I didn't see any drivers the entire time I was lapping the track and could go as fast and slow as I wanted to. The spiral had me turning the wheel to the left for a solid minute, I don't know if it was my cart but it was quite a bumpy drive. At first glance, the top of the hill was quite daunting but I released the gas pedal and let the momentum take me over the hills (I'd imagine you'd go much faster if you kept the gas pedal pressed). Then the track loops back around to the docking area and back up the spiral. The total ride time was about 5 minutes so I was able to get 3 laps in while driving at high speed. It'd be cool if they had options for longer ride times without having to pay the $15 admission again. The helmet was nicely cushioned and definitely do not take it off until you get out of the cart as the careless driver behind me crashed into the back of my cart as they pulled into the docking area. Restrooms were by the exit area. Definitely a super fun and must do experience in the Clifton Hill area!

Niagara Speedway – Go-Karts Gone Galactic in Clifton Hill This isn’t your average loop—it's a multi-level thrill ride where Mario Kart vibes meet rollercoaster chaos. Spiraling ramps, tight turns, and high-speed straights make for one wild circuit. 🔥 Gas-powered karts bring the rumble—none of that silent cruiser stuff. They growl, they roar, they deliver full-throttle nostalgia. 💲 Pricing: Driver: $14 + HST (58"–78") Passenger: $5 + HST (40"–60") Drivers with passengers must be 18+ or a legal guardian. 📏 Height Check: Scan signs or photos before queuing—measure twice, race once. ⏳ Wait Times: Evenings and weekends get busy. Hit it early or go midweek to avoid the crowds. 🪖 Gear Up: Helmets are required (and provided). Clean, comfy, and crew-approved. If you seek speed, sights, and a surge of adrenaline, Niagara Speedway is the high-octane adventure you’re looking for. 🏁✨

Honestly, it was one of the best experiences ever 😍. From the moment you step in, the place feels very well organized 👌. The whole facility is clean, hygienic, and well maintained 🧼🧹 which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The track itself is unique and super fun 🎢 — the laps are smooth, clear, and designed for both speed and thrill 🚀. The go-karts are fantastic 🏎️🔥 — modern, fast, and comfortable to drive. You really feel the adrenaline rush while racing around the curves and ramps 🙌. It’s exciting but also safe ✅, so you can enjoy without any worries. What stood out the most for me was the customer service 🤝💯. The staff here are extremely friendly, polite, and helpful — right from guiding you through ticketing to making sure you are safe and having a great time. Their positive attitude really makes the whole experience even better 🌟. 🚻 Washrooms are nearby and very clean, which is always a big plus 👍. 🎟️ Tickets are super affordable — only $15 on weekdays for about 3–4 laps (roughly 5 minutes of driving fun). Organized, streamlined, safety oriented, good value. This is a great place to go for a spin on go-karts. The staff are organized, the amount of people being served here is handled well and everyone gets their driving experience in a fun, safe and timely manner.

The Niagara Speedway is just across the street from our hotel. After a rain delay, we were able to have some fun here. First of all, the price is very reasonable especially for the tourist area. We ran 4 laps and really enjoyed them. It's well organized so the wait wasn't long. I did have some concerns over the helmets, but afterwards I saw they got a machine sanitizing every single one after each, so it makes me feel good.

Main points: it was cheaper than I expected and more fun than I expected. My workmates decided to go and asked if I wanted to join, glad I did. The cars are super fast, but fast enough that it is still a lot of fun. And there were more laps than I expected as well. Line moved fast and we didn't have to wait too long. I would recommend it was super fun. Thanks for the good time! And for the record, I beat my workmates.

Nestled in the picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, Marynissen Estates Winery is a charming destination for wine enthusiasts and dog lovers alike. Established in 1975, this small winery has cultivated its own grapes to produce an impressive selection of wines. Visitors can indulge in delightful tastings featuring icewines, refreshing whites like gewurztraminer and chardonnay, as well as robust reds including pinot noir and cabernet.
My husband and I love coming here!! The atmosphere is great, very clean, everyone is pleasant, and we love the sangria flights here. They have the best sangrias we have had! Prices are reasonable and cyclist friendly close to other wineries! Parking is easy and small and quaint. Their ice wine is delicious too!

Beautiful winery! Not super busy, beautiful area, and super dog friendly!! The staff is also very knowledgeable and super friendly! The wines were all fantastic. We absolutely loved both of the Ice Wines. Definitely worth the trip!
Jadyn S — Google review
Cannot say enough positive things about this winery. I was in the area on vacation for 4 days, and out of every winery I visited, this was by far my favorite (so much so that I stopped in on 3 different occasions). I also must say that I was only initially supposed to be in the area for 2 days, but extended my stay an extra 2 nights due to the incredible hospitality of the area- and largely due to such a positive experience at this particular winery. The wines are great and reasonably priced. I also purchased some very cute charcuterie pottery bowls from their little store- also very well priced. Beautiful views. The best part, though, was how they treated my dog. He got his own doggie 'flight' (for only $2) and loved the biscuits! The staff gave him so much attention, and even offered to puppy sit while I ran to the restroom. Great experience all around! Thank you so much to the kind staff who helped me make beautiful memories with my aging pup.

We came on one of the last warm and sunny days of the year, and it was quite busy with several tour groups along with walk-ins. We were served relatively quickly, though finding a seat was a bit of a challenge. The staff seemed shorthanded and many of their tables weren't cleared for new arrivals for some time. The wine list was decent, though the lack of staff meant that there was no follow-up after we were served, nor was there any snack pairings offered. Overall, I would recommend coming to this winery for a tasting only if you're part of a guided tour group or prefer the entirely 'self-guided' experience.

We had a fantastic time at Marynissen Estates! The sangria flights were delicious and such a fun way to taste wine. We also enjoyed the roast beef sandwich they offer from The Grove Niagara, it made the experience even more delicious! A special thanks to Trevor, who was so patient, kind, and helpful throughout our visit, his hospitality made it truly memorable! We won’t soon forget our experience and can’t wait to come back!

$22 for the sangria flight You won't be disappointed. A good amount of tasting in each and they all were pretty good. PLUS tons of fruit which is such a nice bonus. If you'd rather just get a glass, I'd recommend pearadise charm or crimson kiss as the faves. A few tables inside with ac, rest is outdoor seating. No need to reserve, walk in! Looking for a glass of red? Try the Cabernet franc + very smooth!!!
Jacqui L — Google review
Great cabs, you can get a medium to full bodied red here. Server was so sweet and nice, one of the best for the 5x wineries I visited. Recommend this place for all.

Nestled between two trees adjacent to Walkers Country Market, the Living Water Wayside Chapel is a delightful gem that has captured hearts since its establishment in 1964. This pint-sized chapel proudly holds the title of the world's smallest chapel, making it an intriguing stop for visitors exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Blink and you’ll miss it, but don’t. This tiny white church is pristinely maintained with ample roadside parking. We couldn’t squeeze inside, it was already full with 6 visitors! So we snapped photos outside and still felt the charm. Perfect pit stop for quirky pictures and a moment of calm. Five stars for upkeep and uniqueness.

A peaceful and charming stop! The Living Water Wayside Chapel is beautifully maintained and known as one of the smallest chapels in the world. It’s a serene spot to pause, reflect, and take some lovely photos. Definitely worth a quick visit if you’re in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area! Not so crowded and evenings are the best and apple picking nearby is an add-on to your trip. Additionally, you can see a lot of winery farms nearby.

Fun and quick little stop if you’re in the Niagara on the lake area. You probably won’t spend more than 10minutes here. No fee, but make a donation if you can

A beautiful little chapel at Niagara which should not be missed. There’s benches inside for at least 6 people to sit. Ample parking space around.

This is probably a must-see attraction in the Niagara region😍The smallest church in the world⛪——The living water wayside chapel⛪ It is the smallest church in the world that is still open to the public⛪. It is no different from other churches⛪ except for its small size. You can worship and pray here🙏🏻, and even hold a special and romantic ceremony here. Wedding💒(If you hold a wedding here💒, you also need to make an appointment in advance. Why is it special to hold a wedding here? Because if you hold a wedding here, you can receive a special commemorative certificate issued by the local department.) There are only a few rows of double seats inside the entire church, which can accommodate no more than 12 people at most. Although it is small, it is really well-equipped and not small as it should be. This is what makes it special. 😎 ⏰About the opening hours: In fact, it does not have specific opening hours, but it is basically open if you go during the day, because it is right on the roadside, so please feel free to go. ⏰ 🎫About church tickets: This is free🆓 to visit, no tickets are required, and no advance reservation is required. 🎫 🚘About transportation: 1️⃣If you start from the Great Falls, there is no bus, but you can buy shared bicycles over there🚲. I see that many people come here on shared bicycles🚵🏻‍♂️, and the one-way trip is about 20 kilometers. (It’s very comfortable to ride along the Niagara River from the Great Falls, because it has a separate cycling lane, and the scenery along the way is also great. I really recommend riding here slowly. 👍🏻) 2️⃣Self-driving, it takes about 20 minutes to drive from the waterfall. Parking🅿️Just park directly behind this church⛪, it's free. 🚘 🏞️About the vicinity of the church: There is a farm next to and behind the church, where you can buy fresh produce or pick peaches🍑, strawberries🍓, apples🍎, grapes🍇 and other seasonal fruits. (The ice cream here🍦 is also good, most of the ingredients come from their own farm.)🏞️ ⚠️The church⛪ is on the way to Niagara on the lake. If you go to the town of Niagara, remember to enter the navigation 📍 in advance on the map 🗺️, then you will not miss this special church ⛪! ⚠️
Hugo K — Google review

Reif Estate Winery is a must-visit destination in Niagara, offering outstanding wines crafted from premium grape varieties using innovative techniques and traditional methods passed down over thirteen generations. The winery's commitment to producing predominantly estate bottled wines has resulted in world-class products. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, including wine tastings, tours, and the opportunity to sample their award-winning ice wines.
Look for Ana!!! Super welcoming and knowledgeable. She’s a great guide in explaining the different ice wines they have that have won multiple awards. She even gave a great history of the company and how to make the ice wines. Best place to go for a wine tasting, no need to go anywhere else. The location is very charming.

We discovered this winery on our last trip up here and had an amazing tasting and experience so we signed up for thier club membership. Since they cant mail to the US they are willing to hold our boxes for us until we can come up and pick them up (at no additional charge). We came up this week to pick up our month subscription boxes and had another lovely tasting, this time on the patio with thier wine slushies as well and thier amazing pulled pork pizza.

Found this cute winery with old barrels at the curb. Thought we'd check it out after the farmstead pointed us this way. Oh my.. the pulled pork pizza was yummy delicious. The flight was amazing. The slushy merlot was great... we both had a great first time thanks

While we were a bit disappointed that the sensory garden was closed for a private event during our first visit, our sommelier Michael made it a great experience. He tailored our tasting to our individual tastes, often making suggestions of wines he thought we would like or were a better option than what we selected. Next time we come to Reif, we'll definitely be making a reservation ahead of time based on how busy it was in the last hour.

This is a beautiful place to visit if you’re interested in learning about winemaking. They offer guided tours that take you through various parts of the property, providing insights into the entire wine production process. Tickets cost around $25 per adult and $15 per child. However, you might be able to find a $5 discount coupon on the Niagara Parks website—it’s worth checking online beforehand. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which adds to the overall positive experience. During the tour, they offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, making it suitable for all visitors. Inside the building, there’s a wide selection of wine bottles available for purchase. I highly recommend this place if you’re curious about how wine is made or simply want to explore a well-organized and informative winery.

It's such a beautiful little spot to visit. The food is incredible! The charcuterie, the chunky Greek salad, the pizza and the guilty burger, even without the bun. Delicious! And not too expensive! The one place untouched by inflation. We booked our wedding here 7 years ago, came back to visit and the prices are the exact same. Such underrated wine! The best wine in Canada. Everyone was impressed with the wine at our wedding, I always give it as gifts and people are floored. This unknown gem! And they've built it up so much! So much more places to sit and eat. Keep up the great work!
Astrid G — Google review
This has long been a favourite winery of mine, with a beautiful location along the parkway and a beautiful tasting room. I always enjoy the tastings because they have a great selection of wines and the service is always professional. But the disappointing part of my visit was my lunch on the patio. I ordered the leek soup, which was very good and the chicken sandwich. I found the sandwich practically un edible. It consisted of a large piece of chicken thigh, which was very fatty and had the skin, served on a cold bun. I would advise anybody who goes there not to order the chicken sandwich. As for me, I will go back to the winery, but that’s the last time I will eat at that restaurant.

We visited this place and a few other wineries for the bachelorette party, and this one was by far the best. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the wines and snacks were delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing — we had the best time! We’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy the fall views.

Such a cute winery with some good wines. If you like sweeter whites, they have a lot of good ones. My husband and I both did a tasting, so we ended up trying 8 wines on the menu, I can say the whites were my favourite. We also got a charcuterie board to share which was pleasant. Our server was lovely. We ended up leaving with a bottle of Vidal and special edition white.

The Hare Wine Company is a stunning winery offerring excellant wines. The tasting room is spacious and beautifully designed with gorgeous views of the vineyard. The Hare family has been making wine for over 100 years starting in Bulgaria. Small batch VQA reds, whites, rose and icewine. Everything we tasted had depth and complexity! Great textures, aromas, and balance.

Very nice place to have a flight of wine and nibble on a nice charcuterie. The pizza was also nice and thin with great flavour. The frozen drink was yummy too, with cranberry, orange and their rosé. Indoor tables or outdoor patio, it was a very pleasant visit.

We enjoyed a wine tasting and light lunch on their patio on a beautiful sunny fall day. Also of note was that they are dog friendly as our dog Sina was able to join us on the patio. Finally we bought two bottles of wine that we really enjoyed during the tasting but not before we learned about these wines from our friendly and knowledgeable server Vanessa. With three generations actively involved in operations, they take pride in producing exquisite Icewine from grapes harvested at temperatures below -8°C. The winery offers tours and tastings of their sweet white Icewine and other signature vintage wines from their five vineyards.
This was my first time visiting Winery. We enjoyed the 45 minutes winery tour and tasting! All wines were delicious especially Rose. Also I didn’t know that ice wine is so tasty until I tried Pillitteri ice wine. Our guide was very friendly and giving us lots of samples. We ended up buying 12 bottles. Then we had lunch at the restaurant. We ordered pizza and salad. It was very good! I really like their outdoor eating area also friendly staff and good service. We will come back again!

I visited Pillitteri Estates Winery on my own and had a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they explained the ice wine-making process in detail. I especially loved the Vidal Icewine — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The Sparkling Icewine was also amazing, refreshing with a unique sweetness that made it stand out. The winery itself is beautiful and relaxing, perfect for photos and enjoying a peaceful moment. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re a fan of sweet wines or trying ice wine for the first time!🥰😍

Amazing experience at Pillitteri! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We joined the Chinese tour which was very helpful and informative. The icewine is absolutely delicious!! The best icewine! We bought a few bottles. The best part is that they can ship the wines directly to us, which is so convenient.
HY Z — Google review
The public wine tour was decent, and thank goodness for the three samples to enjoy along the way. The wood fire pizza was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had—worth the stop alone. But skip the ice wine cocktails; they’re overpriced for the small pour and the flavor doesn’t match the cost
Robert S — Google review
We ordered the guided tour from travel agency. We were originally going to Inniskillin, but I didn’t know why the agency took us here. In any case it was rainy, so the Chinese receptionist asked us whether went outside or not. We thought the outside means the vineyard, so we refused. Then the tour just introduced the family history of the owner in a passage about ten minutes, even not the history of the wine. After that she brought us to taste test, “without mentioning they have wine cellar to look around”. She just wanted us to taste the ice wine and purchase, and asked other type which she likes, she said she didn’t drink wine(Me:??????), so just recommended the best seller. At the beginning we just chose three bottles ice wine. I can feel that she was unhappy cause we brought too less. (I had to emphasize she didn’t force us, just looked really unhappy.) Thus, we requested to taste other kinds, and she say we can buy 6 get 1 free (free was cheapest). The price of ice wine was CAD70 / CAD75 / CAD 85 / CAD100 / CAD150.(Depends on different varieties.) Anyway, this tour and receptionist made us feel uncomfortable and unhappy. Because receptionist didn’t remind us to visit the wine cellar, and just eager us to buy the wine, lead to miss the viewpoint. The ice wine taste good, so the 2 star came from it. But I hope I won't see prices that are much cheaper in other stores.

Had a beautiful afternoon at Colaneri Estate Winery! 🍷☀️ We walked in on a Sunday at 3pm without any reservations and the patio had plenty of spots available. Our party of 4 did a patio wine tasting that included 3 flutes of your choice and it was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience ( $20 per person ) My favourite wine was unfortunately sold out ( Syrah ) But the views from the patio made me forget that fact! The views are simply stunning — vineyards as far as the eye can see, and the whole property has this charming and authentic Italian villa feel. We tried a variety of wines, all unique and flavourful, and the staff were super knowledgeable and friendly, guiding us through each one without rushing. We also ordered a wood-fired Margarita pizza — fresh, delicious, and the perfect pairing with the 🍷 To top it off, we treated ourselves to vanilla and pistachios gelato 🍨 and it was exactly what was needed on a hot afternoon day! If you’re looking for a scenic and relaxing afternoon in wine country with great food and wine, Colaneri is definitely worth a visit. 🍕🍦🍇 Quick note: you can bring children ( I had a newborn baby with me and paid for my sister and mom to have experience with me ) or dogs only outside on the patio and not inside wine-tasting. I learnt that the hard way the few previous times I booked my reservations for private tasting and was denied access.

This Winery Experience is absolutely incredible! Upon arrival it’s like you’re instantly transported to Tuscany, they even have palm trees! You’re greeted by kind and friendly staff and shown to your private host who has your place settings all set with a personalized welcome sign. The tasting room overlooks the vast vineyard and Liana who was our host was super knowledgeable and a fantastic storyteller. Sharing the story of the family, their journey and love for the wines and each other. She went through the entire wine make process and shared the story of each label…it’s was the ultimate in Romanticizing the entire experience. The wines were all very well made and balanced perfectly. We enjoyed every single glass! We will 100% be becoming members!

This is one of a kind wine tasting experience . I have been to many wineries , but this one is inside the Niagara College Canada Campus . Very nice place and you can learn how to taste wine and pair wine with food there. The White wine and the Ice Wine I have tasted are both very good. They have many awards winning products. Hope to visit them again.

Niagara College Teaching Winery has some excellent wines and is a beautiful facility but avoid their wine club at all costs. We signed up last fall. They have events where you can either pick up the wine selections in person or they will be shipped to you by courier. An email goes out two weeks before a pickup party asking which option you would like, and if you are going to pick it up in person. I've spent almost two weeks now chasing the staff to find out what happened to our wine. Apparently it was shipped out but the tracking number shows it was damaged in transit and they are not responding to emails or calls. I'm calling my bank to have them refund it on my credit card.

Absolutely a great experience. We visited around noon and were able to try wine tastings as well as beer flights. The winery building wasn't busy and we enjoyed sitting inside at the clever barrel tables. Outside there is tonnes of room on the beer garden which overlooks the winery. For my wine tastings, I asked the host to choose for me. She asked about the types of wines I like and I was thrilled with how good her choices were. I for sure want to go back and pick up a bottle of Rosé 101. We were able to browse the selection from the brewery, cidery, and distillery in the wine centre. The other areas are closed right now so everything operates put of here. I'm glad we were able to visit Niagara College because we weren't able to do a tour of the school due to Covid-19. Future students, this is a perfect opportunity to visit the campus and try their selections!

We visited the Teaching Winery in early June and had an amazing time. We weren’t sure what to expect, but ‘G’ made sure we were well taken care of. We had a beer flight and a spirits flight. The amaros were excellent and I brought home the asparagus amaro – and quite a few other things! Everyone was super friendly and we learned a lot about the programs and all the things the students created. It was fun looking over the winery while we had our flights. We also brought home a bottle of G’s “plus one” wine, direct from the classes. I would recommend Niagara College Teaching Winery to anyone in the Falls area and we hope to make it back soon.

I've been to the winery three times now, and every single visit has been made extra special thanks to Mike. He is truly one of the best in the business — knowledgeable, friendly, and consistently attentive. From the moment you arrive, Mike makes you feel welcome and taken care of. What really stands out about Mike is his incredible service. He's always quick, efficient, and somehow manages to be everywhere at once — checking in on guests, offering suggestions, and making sure everyone is having a great time. His wine recommendations have always been spot-on, and you can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for everyone who walks in. And then there’s his personality — Mike has the kind of warmth and charisma that instantly puts you at ease. He’s full of funny stories and light-hearted energy that make the experience not just enjoyable, but memorable. If Mike is around, you just know you’re in good hands and everything will be absolutely fine. Honestly, he’s a big reason I keep coming back. The winery is lucky to have someone like him — and so are the guests who get to be served by him. Thank you, Mike, for always going above and beyond. You’re the best! 🍷

Loved this winery! Went here because we heard it was dog friendly for indoor and outdoor. Was surprised at first that it was dog friendly given how nice the interior was, but indeed it was! Plus, they gave our dog a treat and water bowl. For the humans there were tasty and affordable food options. The staff were knowledgeable about wine and incredibly friendly - shoutout to Tina! It was our favorite winery of the day and overheard other patrons sharing the same sentiments with the staff. We also got a kick out of their outdoor winter display with dinosaurs, dolphins, peacocks, and more that light up at nighttime

Walk-ins for wine tasting are great. You can choose 4 wines from several different options for $20. I totally recommended pairing that with a grilled cheese, it comes with a bacon & onion compote, amazing.

Went for a wine tasting and it was honestly such a pleasant experience from beginning to end! A very lovely lady named Diane did an amazing job with accommodating our group with everything we needed! Very lovely place inside and out and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves wine and charcuterie. Can’t wait to be back!

Excellent wine at a fair price. The service at the winery is exceptional. The staff are kind and knowledgeable. During our honeymoon, Andrew gave my wife and I an unforgettable tasting experience. On a separate visit, Diane went above and beyond to serve us - she cooked us excellent bites and guided us through an amazing wine tasting.

Riverview Cellars Winery is a family-owned establishment with deep roots in the Niagara region. The Pillitteri family's dedication to their land has resulted in a passion for winemaking, leading to the creation of Riverview Cellars. The winery offers a welcoming experience and boasts a variety of wines catering to different tastes, including Gewurztraminer, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a rare Reserve Malbec.
I recommend the wines here. Great staff, and generous amount for wine tasting. Cabernet franc icewine is delicious on itself but got it paired with a beef slider top with bacon, onion jam and blue cheese. I'm not a fan of blue cheese but it went very well to my enjoyment.

We didn't do the wine tour but did do a lovely wine tasting. Relaxing and calm and nice wines. Friendly staff too. Good value -$12CAD for a wine flight (4 wines), and good food too.. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended.

I went wine tasting at Riverview Cellars in Niagara-on-the-Lake with friends visiting from France, and we all had a fantastic time. The service was warm and friendly, and the wines were excellent—my French friends were genuinely impressed! Prices are very reasonable, and they offer discounts if you purchase wines after tasting. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Enjoyed our experience here. We sampled four different wines, all very good, and enjoyed the Charcuterie. The young gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable about the wines and taught us quite a bit, he was great! Really like their Syrah, Pino Noir, and the Barrel 81! We ended up taking a couple bottles of the Barrel 81 home. Sitting on the porch on a sunny fall day enhanced the experience too! So all good things to say about this place, definitely recommend.
Hugo S — Google review
Maybe because I visited on a weekday, there were no employees, and the employee who arrived later just stood at the counter looking at his phone without offering any advice. It was a quiet, small winery.
BRUCE L — Google review
We biked to this cute winery along the major road. There are lots of wine options and some light food options as well. There is an option to sit on the patio, which we opted for due to the good weather, but there is indoor seating as well. I really liked the presentation of the wine samples (4 for $15 btw) in these cute trees!

Beautiful surroundings, well- maintained vineyard. We sampled a variety of wines and enjoyed a first-class charcuterie board with some great cheeses. Purchased several bottles of wine to take home. This was one best we've visited from Florida to New York.

Southbrook Organic Vineyards is a standout destination in the Niagara region, known for its commitment to organic and biodynamic winemaking. The vineyard's dedication to sustainable practices sets it apart, with a focus on crafting exceptional natural wines. Southbrook's sleek and modern winery, designed with LEED certification, is as stunning inside as it is outside.
Southbrook is a charming winery with a really heavy focus on sustainability and an easygoing tasting experience alongside a mini farmers market that features produce and honey all grown and farmed right on property. That’s biodiversity right there and it no doubt helps the soil and the wine in some small part. The wines are priced well and are generally approachable and unpretentious. The interior is cool and comfy in the summer and service isn’t pushy. Great to see all around. You can also order snacks with the wines. Everything is flat and easy to access and if it weren’t so hot in summer we’d likely have gone for the full vineyard tour. Excited to return in cooler months. They boast an orange wine which is a bit more off the beaten path and we do recommend that if you’re into something a bit different.

A very nice place to do a wine tasting. Don’t get thrown off by the long purple wall. The girl who served us was very knowledgeable about the wines. A contingency plan for food for the tasters while an event is taking place would be welcomed.

I love this place!! Really nice inside and outside. Sitting on the Muskoka chair, looking over the winery and having amazing wine and charcuterie was little vacation for us. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed their wine a lot especially I liked the Rose. We purchased some bottles. We will come back again.

I had a truly wonderful experience at this place! The selection of wines was impressive, with a perfect balance between local favorites and unique surprises. Each tasting was beautifully explained, making the whole experience feel both fun and educational. A very special thank you to Cinthya (I hope I’m spelling it right!) for her outstanding service. She was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly warm, welcoming, and passionate about what she does. She made us feel right at home and turned the tasting into an unforgettable moment. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy great wine and even better hospitality!

We stumbled upon a delightful, eco-conscious winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake offering an exceptional tasting menu and a food menu that they catered thoughtfully to our vegetarian needs. The wines were wonderful—especially the Riesling, Chardonnay, and framboise—which quickly became favorites. A gentle breeze, friendly staff, and carefully curated music created the perfect ambiance. It turned out to be a truly beautiful day to enjoy wine outdoors in great company.

Small Talk Vineyards is a vibrant and inviting destination nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, attracting over 200,000 visitors annually. Established in the late 1980s and originally known as Stonechurch Vineyards, this charming winery has transformed under the ownership of Hank Hunses, who rebranded it and introduced a delightful line of craft ciders called Shiny Apple Cider.
Fun spot. Enjoyed sharing a cider flight with my daughter. Took some maple cider home with us. The maple cider is quite strong being 7% which may be helpful to know? Friendly staff very helpful.
Terry P — Google review
We spent some time on Tuesday, August 10th sampling/enjoying/LOVING the cider here. Wow… best part was the service! We can’t remember our servers name, but she was excellent and made our visit so nice! We sampled eight ciders and took home a six pack of bootleg, a six pack of blue raspberry and a growler of pomegranate. We’re definitely coming back!
Professor P — Google review
Great spot! Was originally called Small Talk Vineyards and just this July 2022 it has been sold and being renamed. No official sign, but everything says "Shiny Apple Cider". The staff is very friendly and helpful. We each got a flight if the different types of cider. They were all really good! My favorite was the watermelon mint Cider. Lots of space to park and sit down outside to enjoy your cider.
Eva M — Google review
First time here. Loved it!!! The place is so colourful and inviting. Very instagramable. Free WiFi too. We did a flight of ciders and I included their ice wines too. The peach cider and Apple cider were my favourite. So refreshing on a hot summer day. Now only if they made their peach cider in cans!!! Service was amazing - friendly and helpful. No food options - their patio is screaming for something.
C L — Google review
Small Talk Vineyards was a great choice for supporting local during the pandemic. We visited just before the lock-down and were able to step inside of the door to choose our alcohol before heading out. I have seen their Shiny Cider before in the LCBO and was actually surprised to see it here. We bought a Pomegranate cider and a wine as a gift. The Pomegranate cider was so flavourful and was recently bottled - locking in the freshness. They give the large cider in a growler which is simply adorable. We also saw that they had a Toasted Marshmallow cider. We were tempted to try it but instead stuck to a safer flavour for our first purchase from the vineyard. I hope to go back after lockdown is over and stock up on their ciders because they are simply SO great. The actual vineyard was extremely well set up with multiple areas to eat and drink as well as photo-ops. Since everything was closed down due to Covid-19, we weren't able to experience everything they offer but are hoping to go back at a later date.
Bree O — Google review
Ended up here by happenstance this afternoon. The location was funky and cool. A friend bartender told us we could have a sample flight of 4 ciders for 5$. Who could say no? We sat outside, orchard and vineyard-side and sipped our ciders. Were able to try one we 'd never seen before and it was yummy. Glad our cruising around St Catharines area brought us there today. ❤️
Mandy K — Google review
This was one of our stops while hitting up the wineries and breweries. It wasn’t in my original list but was recommended by another winery. I’m so glad we stopped because this was fun and the ciders were excellent. It’s bright and colorful and there’s plenty of room to sit or stand with your group. I’ll be back in March 2020 and cannot wait! I just really need to find out what the goat yoga is!!! Haha!

This place is awesome! Girlfriend and I started our tour at 11 am here and it was one of the best wineries we visited for sure! The Shiny Peach Cider and Rebellious Riesling were our favorites.

Nestled in the picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, Palatine Hills Estate Winery has been a cherished family-owned establishment for over four decades. The Neufeld family, originally grape growers, transitioned into winemaking and now offers an impressive array of wines including Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and even Icewine and Sparkling Wine. Visitors can enjoy tastings in a charming room that was once a drive shed; here you might even get to sample rare out-of-stock bottles!
Really enjoyed our wine tour here, as part of the Chocolate and Cheese tour. The wine and dessert pairing with chocolate bon bon what's great, paired with the Viognier. Otherwise, we also decided to taste some of the flight options as we started off very well. The host was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable in their wines and meal pairings.

While there are a ton of wineries in Niagara to visit... Palatine Hills stood out as one of the most enjoyable from a setup perspective. First time I went there we just got a bottle and two glasses and literally went in the middle of the vineyard to chill. Great idea for a date! Some years later we returned and the patio is nicely setup with comfy couches, muskoka chairs and even a games area (that kids loved). You can still go chill in the grass by the vine. Wine is decent... staff is amazingly friendly and I always enjoy coming here.

We had the pleasure of being in the hands of Allan C, who was so knowledgeable, hospitable and friendly. The atmosphere was fun and we had a blast playing jenga and corn hole on the outdoor patio. We will definitely come back.

Popped in to the local winery and I was impressed with the vibe and layout of the building. The flights were tasty and fresh. Bonus pts to Allen for Recommendations on Big Boy. Such a great tasting wine. All the reds were great. I will be back for more.

We had a great time during our tasting at Palatine. Although a few of the wines we tasted were not our absolute favourites we had a nice experience. The music, the games, the vibes were all fantastic. Also loved the merchandise and the friendly staff. Recommend adding it to your wine tour bucket list.

I had a fantastic experience here! The service was top-notch and professional, and the environment was spotless and welcoming. My friends and I tried the Alchemy, and we absolutely loved it. It has a delightful sweetness and high alcohol content that stands out. The 2016 Alchemy, in particular, is my favorite wine so far—smooth, velvety, and perfectly balanced, with a hint of fruity sweetness. A must-try for any wine lover!

We've been to this winery a couple of times. It's our favourite! The staff are great, very knowledgeable and the wine is delicious!
Kati — Google review
We were sent to do our wine tasting in the residence. The staff member had a large tour group in there so we were kind of extra for her to deal with. The place is pretty dated like an old model home. There were pictures of the inside of the house on the wall like windows and doors which was weird. There were dead bugs in the windowsills. They only gave us 1 single glass for all our tastings, white, red, water, etc. I would say they barely served us 1oz for each tasting. Would not recommend this place, so many other nice wineries to choose from.
Lindsay A — Google review
What a great tasting we had at Hinterbrook! Though we have been to this area several times and have visited many of the wineries in the Niagara-on-the-Lake region, we had never been to this winery. So glad that we corrected that status. Our server, Brooke, was utterly delightful, and very knowledgeable. She is a bundle of energy, and made our visit there a true delight. We tried a couple of the sparkling wines, and a few still wines. All were delicious. If only we could take more with us - we are from Ohio - but oh well......
