Woodbourne Inn is a charming bed and breakfast located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The 19th-century restored house offers 8 warm rooms, each with modern amenities such as luxe bathrooms, wood burners, and pillow-top mattresses. The inn features a garden, library, and fireplace in the lobby for guests to enjoy. A complimentary full breakfast is served daily, and amenities include express check-out and bicycle tour information.
I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is incredibly tranquil—perfect for anyone looking to unwind and escape the noise of daily life. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the calm atmosphere and beautifully maintained surroundings. What really stood out was the attention to detail throughout the entire property. From the carefully chosen decor to the thoughtful touches in the room, everything felt curated with care and intention. The staff were warm and attentive, making sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a touch of elegance.

Such a lovely little gem with charm and historic character. From when we arrived until the time we left, our stay was magical. It felt like we were transported back in time. Service was exceptional, the inn was beautifully curated, and it was a romantic way to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary! Thank you Woodbourne Inn team. Special nod to Chef Jen for creating a delicious two staged breakfast. The star-shaped croissant was so delicately prepared and tasty. The poached egg breakfast was equally delicious. We look forward to coming back! Until next time!

Woodbourne inn is charming, comfortable and well furnished. A great place for a weekend at Niagra on the lake wineries and town strolls. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but no tv’s, and no thermostat. But that’s being a picky. The highlight by far was the breakfast…unbelievable! French toast with pastry glaze, stewed plums, candied seeds and fresh roasted nectarines. Every bite was delicious. If this was a restaurant it would get a Michelin nod for sure. The house chef should have her own tv show. Absolutely top notch. I would stay here again just for the food.

This Inn is wonderful in every way. We booked all eight rooms for a 4 night stay for our annual girls getaway. Everything was fabulous! They bring you coffe/tea and a freshly baked item each morning and leave it on a tray outside of your room to enjoy while you are getting ready. About an hour later we would meet in the dining room for a full breakfast prepared by a local chef. We all felt so spoiled and pampered that we didn’t want to leave. The rooms are clean and fresh. A delightful mix of old charm and modern conveniences.

Wow! This was the first time my fiancee and I tried a B&B like this and it definitely made us want to try it again soon. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service during our stay was nothing short of making you feel like royalty. We woke each morning to the smell of fresh pastries and coffee coming from the kitchen, and then having it delivered to our door at a time of our choosing! Afterwards there is an hour to drink your coffee and get ready for breakfast. Both days the meals were fantastic. The building itself is gorgeous and radiates class, the gardens in the back were beautiful and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the weather there. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to our friends and family.

Each year my husband and I book a trip to a new bed and breakfast. Having many to compare too, the Woodbourne Inn is at the top of the list for sure. Pros: The home felt large and expansive with high ceilings and multiple sitting areas. When it rained our last day, it was the ideal place to hunker down with a book and some reading. During our stay only 3 of the 8 rooms were in use, and we rarely saw anyone else on the property. It was immaculately clean, beds were comfortable, bathtub massive, fireplace easy to use. And obviously the TWO morning breakfasts were divine. Cons: Yes, it is an old house so you hear the occasional voice and floor creaking from other people. We went into October and even though we couldn’t open the windows or control the heat/AC, we were comfortable and didn’t need to use the fans provided in the closet. We were provided the option for a free upgrade to room 8 where no other guests were staying nearby and had its own heating/cooling. Looks they do this when they can. Unfortunately I was unable to use the stairs. Suggestions: 2nd breakfast at 945 was a little late as someone who likes to get up and out early. If we would come back would maybe ask for an earlier start. Would love to see an afternoon tea or happy hour to make it more social among guests Book. It’s a great place. Would definitely return if we came to the area in the future.

Woodbourne Inn – Niagara-on-the-Lake I visited this place today and absolutely loved it. It’s a beautiful spot to relax, with cozy rooms, spotless bathrooms, and excellent service. They even offer personalized meal options to suit your preferences. The atmosphere is peaceful and surrounded by nature. Definitely recommend it🌿✨

Amazing stay at Woodbourne Inn! Staff provided excellent customer service and made us feel so welcome. The inn is beautiful, cozy, and in a gorgeous area. The only downside is it’s a bit far from local transit, so having a car helps. Highly recommend!

Hotel
Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast, located in Niagara on the Lake, was opened by Ranju and Kumari Selvadurai in 2015. The B&B offers three well-appointed suites with flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. The couple's background living in the Middle East and Asia influenced the charming design of the B&B. Guests can enjoy luxury linens, a cozy fireplace, and a renowned gourmet breakfast each morning.
When we arrived at the Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast we were greeted by the owner, he was as pleasant and welcoming as one could be. He gave us a tour of their beautiful home and was most gracious. Our room was simply spotless and comfortable - just like home. Our stay was simply perfect. The breakfast served is at one table where strangers quickly become friends over lovely converstions and shared experiences. On our way out the owners wife noticed that I was sad and I had explained I had tragically lost my beloved furbaby in an accident and she quickly hugged me and wished God's blessing and healing for me. I was so touch by her actions. It was the most comforting feeling and made this a place of peace for me. So rest assure whenever we are in the area this will be our goto place to stay. Lovely accomodations, the food was so pleasing to the eye and DELICIOUS and often comes with a quiz if you are smart enough to figure out ingredients lol. Please give this place careful consideration as it is the best place around in my opinion.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend Blue Skies B&B. Kumari and Ranju are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful and they did not miss a detail. The wonderful breakfasts are over the top. Come to breakfast hungry! Don't forget to ask Ranju to taste test his homemade juice. Kumari is an artist in the kitchen. Since they wouldn't come home with us, we will have to wait to see them when we return. Don't miss staying here! Patti & Phil

We had the most fabulous weekend. The house is stunning, the service is over the top and the breakfast is like nothing we've ever had before. The attention to detail like I have not seen in other settings like this. Fresh squeezed juice, homemade pastries and croissants, and such a filling meal for breakfast. I cannot find one negative thing to say about blue sky bed and breakfast. If you're anywhere near Niagara on the Lake this is the place for you to stay!

**Review for Blue Skies BnB** Blue Skies BnB Kamari and Ranju, offer an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service is unparalleled, with exceptionally friendly hosts who make you feel at home and welcome from the moment you arrive. The food is outstanding, with each meal surpassing expectations—definitely a highlight of the stay. You will get an excellent night sleep in their comfortable cozy bedrooms!! The location is perfect, situated close to downtown, and within walking distance to an array of restaurants and shops. The hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and offer great recommendations, ensuring you make the most of your visit. The beautiful gardens add to the serene and inviting atmosphere, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. If you're looking for a place that combines excellent service, warm hospitality, and incredible food, Blue Skies BnB is the place to be. We have been a few times and will surely return!!!

My friend and I recently had an amazing stay at this exceptional B&B. Idyllic and ideally placed within walking distance of the old town Niagara shops and several wineries. The breakfasts were tasty, detailed/ornate and varied each day- gourmet style. We enjoyed fresh baked items, warm dishes & fresh fruit dishes, tailored to our preference/allergies. An abundance of fresh coffee & even fresh morning shakes! Turn down service at night with a chocolate on the pillow :) This couple has a beautiful spirit of hospitality and humility- it is clear they love to host & accommodate to the smallest detail! Altogether outstanding service and convenience together with beautifully decorated, clean and spacious quarters- both a hospitable and pleasant home atmosphere. I highly recommend this B&B as they added so much warmth, comfort & tastiness to our Niagara stay! I hope to return again one day :)

Hospitality was beyond and exceeded my expectations. Our first time with my wife to celebrate our anniversary to B&B. The host met us with such warmth and kindness in every possible to meet our needs.Extremely clean rooms and home area, their breakfast is the signature of the hearts pour out for you to taste and see. You won’t need a lunch. Mario’s healthy choice of juice are epic. One last thing to say is “ book yourself one and see the reviews don’t come short of the expectations”. Until next time! Extremely clean! Bed mattress were comfortable. We booked the Mediterranean room.

We stayed at this amazing place and it was such a wonderful experience. Everything was maintained to a very high standard & the hosts treated us so well. The location is very close by to Niagara Falls as well as some beautiful wineries and a chocolate factory. Hosts recommended some places to visit around which was very relaxing & worthwhile. Food was amazing, rooms were quite spacious and extremely clean including all amenities, we all surely enjoyed very much. Definitely a must visit when we come next time.

Ranju and Kumari are the most kind grateous hosts. Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast is a gem. Every detail has been well thought through and the care and attention to guest comfort and care is shown. We were totally impressed with the hosts kindness and the feasting we enjoyed. After staying here we will never look for other accomodation again at Niagara on the Lake. The location is great. The food beyond expectation!!! We are so blessed to been able to stay here and look forward to returning. The high rating people have given is well earned. This is by far the best B & B we have ever had the pleasure of staying at.

The Prince of Wales Hotel is a luxurious Victorian hotel offering elegant rooms and suites, fine dining, an indoor pool, and a spa. Built in 1864, the hotel exudes old-world charm with its rich chocolate brown decor and Victorian aesthetics. The rooms feature a blend of traditional and modern elements, from floral wallpapers to four-poster beds. Guests can enjoy the famed afternoon tea in the light and airy drawing room or opt for the charcuterie and panini bar.
The hotel itself has a grand feel to it. Frozen in time in a perfect way. Where other properties attempt to capture this quality and fall short, The Prince takes you back in time and wraps you in elegance. The main dinning room, Noble, has a great menu with a variety of local offerings. During our last stay we were taken care of by an exceptional individual named Taylor. His knowledge of the entire menu was extraordinary. His assistance with a local wine selection was fantastic as well. Truly impressive. He made our evening. Our room was well appointed and met all our expectations. We were very impressed with the balcony. This provided a lovely spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. Anyone looking to book a room at this hotel might suffer a little sticker shock at the prices but when it comes to location, quality and attention to detail The Prince of Wales cannot be beat.

I was my pleasure to stay at this beautiful hotel that shows pride and loyalty to their patrons. The staff is well mannered and kind. The main lobby is showcasing beautiful art and gives you the feel of old charm mixed with modern amenities. Our room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. It gives you the feel of regal opulence. The housekeeping staff is well trained and appreciative. There are many staff members working hard to keep this place extremely beautiful and in order. The maintenance, housekeeping, gardeners, the front desk… all of you make us returning guests feel welcomed and happy with your care and great attitude. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Afternoon Tea was just ok. My sister came for a visit from out of province and I made a reservation well in advance. My 9 year old grand daughter joined us for both her and my sisters first afternoon tea and trip to Niagara on the Lake. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and the hostess seemed quite flustered and told us to wait in the lobby as the first seating was still there. Not sure what that meant as there were empty tables and we had a reservation. We waited and then the three of us were seated at a table for 2 with a small round table next to us. It was in the glassedin area. It took over 40 minutes to get tea and the food was ok. Actually the bread on the cucumber sandwiches was stale and hard and the smoked salmon ones were slightly better but the bread was also hard. The scones, pumpkin tart and egg salad croissants were very tasty. We were not able to keep our tea pots on the table and it was awkward to eat as the small table was so crowded. The host came by at one point and asked if we wanted to move to the inside room but we were settled and trying to keep it upbeat for my granddaughter who was super excited to be there. There was a table for 4 in the corner across from us that was empty and remained empty the entire time we were there. All that to say we were happy to have done an afternoon tea but wouldn’t recommend this place for service or food.

Words are not enough to describe how wonderful this hotel is! The greeting and registration process was smooth and a very warm welcome. The rooms are probably the best I have stayed in. I was here to celebrate my 65th Birthday and staff could not have done more to help me celebrate. Drinks in the Churchill bar were exceptional as was the dessert. Service was so warm and friendly. The atmosphere with a live pianist was brilliant. I cannot express how fabulous this hotel was and how fantastic the staff were. I would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel. I am already planning a revisit in the near future!! Infact we extended our stay by a day!!
Bill B — Google review
Do not upgrade to a superior room! There is nothing superior at all! No fireplace, mold everywhere, the duvet cover had coffee stains on it. The safety didn’t work after three attempts to have people fix it, the front end staff especially the young Asian girl were very very rude! The concierge told us to look stuff up online. The restaurant messed up all six of our meals over three days. How hard is it to get an omelette with only cheese! Came out three times so I just ate it the wrong way because it was stuffed with onions and peppers etc.! Definitely not worth the price I paid and not a five star hotel anymore. My fiancé visited there about seven years ago and said it was beautiful it obviously went downhill! Everybody was walking around like zombies and nobody cared that we were there except for Jason and his counterpart as valets! They would be the only reason I would ever reconsider sending anybody to this hotel. I have pictures if anybody is interested

I went in really expecting a lot from a vintage luxury hotel experience. The staff are friendly, high tea was delightful, dinner at Noble was great. But the rooms… the bathroom has black mould in corners, tub stopper didn’t work, and when I pulled it out there was black gunk on the underside. Also, the edges of the bathroom floor were dusty and hairy. So, disappointed and a bit grossed out. Great location. Not sure I’d return though because I like my rooms clean and for the price I expected more — though a clean bathroom is a basic ask.
Alethea S — Google review
We did not stay at the hotel, just visited the restaurant, but they clearly prefer a specific clientele, and my wife and i did not meet their standards. My wife and I went for our 15th anniversary. We didn't have a reservation, and were asked a few odd questions, like if we were staying at the hotel, which wasn't strange in itself, but was followed by where are you from, why did we come to this restaurant, and have you been here before. If it was conversational, it would have been okay, but it felt like an interview. We were then told that they could get us a table, but it would be a 15 minute wait. When I agreed, the hostess said it could be longer, it could be 30 minutes or more, and 15 is just the minimum. That felt strange, too, but I agreed. This is the strangest part, after about 15 minutes she came to get us and show us to our table. There were more empty tables than occupied tables, and they were all clean, so what was the wait for? The room we were taken to had 6 tables and only one was occupied. (See photos) It felt to me like she'd hoped we would leave rather than wait for a table. The waiter was stiff and not too friendly at the introduction, but loosened up as the evening went on. I got the impression he was meant to ward us off from coming back, but soften a we were very friendly to him. The menu doesn't have many options, and the portions are small, especially for the price, but I guess that's high-end dining. I won't be going back, which I suspect is what they wanted. Tip: We went to Gelato di Carlotta for dessert. I bet much recommend that place! It was very good. If you're in Niagara-on-the-Lake, skip the Prince of Wales restaurant, but go to Gelato di Carlotta.
Troy N — Google review
Traditional high tea is $55.00 comes with 3 small savoury sandwiches, 1 savoury humus tart, 1 scone per person, with crème fraise and strawberry jam, 1 mini cup cake, 1 macaroon per person with your choice of teas. I chose masala chai tea. Surprisingly it is very filling. Did not enjoy being seated indoor on sofa’s. Was not offered seating in the enclosed outdoor space. Felt like I was sitting in a stuffy drawing room of an elderly relative. The server was snappy, wouldn’t answer any questions. “When I serve it, I will explain everything” was her snappy response. Should be more amenable to questions in relation to lactose allergy, when one of our party has a severe lactose allergy.

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Ontario, Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club is a cherished gem in the golfing community. Established in 1875, it proudly holds the title of North America's oldest golf club and is steeped in rich history, having been situated on land significant to the War of 1812. This nine-hole course not only offers a delightful golfing experience but also features modern amenities like lakeside dining and live music during summer months on its sun-drenched patio.
Stopped by on the spur of the moment after walking through the beautiful neighbourhood. We did not have a reservation, but the staff quickly found us a table with a beautiful view overlooking the water. Tristan, our server was fabulous, attentive, friendly, and very genuine. Food was amazing. We shared a shrimp appetizer and followed it with their burger and roast beef sandwich. Huge portions! Would absolutely come back. Thank you!

One of the best golf courses my wife and I have ever played. The course was well maintained, had a lot of history, the view of the old fort and Lake Ontario were amazing and the staff members were very friendly!!! My wife and I plan on playing this course again in the near future when we come back to Canada. Thanks for the great day.

Excellent view with a cool breeze, food was quite reasonable with the location considered. Skip restaurant s further inland and treat yourself to this view. You will thank me later. Beware the Thornberry cider! Delicious but I'm lightweight and it has a subtle punch;)

Enjoyed a round of golf on the oldest course in Ontario. It was a beautiful early fall day and the views of the lake were beautiful. Lunch at the waterside patio was very tasty too!

I requested patio seating but apparently that is not available by reservation so we took the indoor table reserved for us. The view was still very nice, looking out over top of the patio umbrellas. Service was good, relaxed and unrushed. We had the Cornish hen and the Vegetarian Lasagna. The hen was a bit dry and under seasoned. The Lasagna was really flavourful.

Gorgeous 9 hole public golf course with multiple holes on the waterfront. Relatively short, flat, and straight, and kept in impeccable condition. Green fee is very reasonable. Would definitely play there again and try the restaurant next time which overlooks the water.
Matt S — Google review
It's the prettiest 9 hole golf course that runs along the waterfront. Super easy to walk, it runs flat and narrow making it a nice little challenge. The waterfront restaurant is also a great little spot to grab a bite to eat.
Darlene B — Google review
My wife booked an 18 hole for my birthday on Sept 14 on this course. The course is a beautiful course and great views while golfing. My wife and I were paired up with an another very nice couple Mark and Elsa (not sure if that’s how her name is spelled), but they have been to the course many times. Only reason why I didn’t give this course a 5 star is because we had people in front of us playing at a very slow pace, and the marshal/ranger thought we were playing slow, which he decided to tell us how to play faster. The only problem is that we can’t play any faster if the group in front of us was playing very slow and if the marshal/ranger was paying attention and he would have noticed the group in front of us had a couple playing with golf clubs from 1 bag. The group behind us caught up to us on hole 4 (Par 3). This group started to yell to the group in front of us to pick up the pacer hurry it up. Mark and Elsa told us not to be deterred as they have played at this course many times with no issue and this was the first time this had happened to them. My wife and I didn’t enjoy the course as much once we judged by the marshal/ranger on how we should play. The group behind had no golf etiquette or respect for anyone else on the course which ruins other people’s time on the course. It didn’t bother me as much and we actually played ready golf but they’re old fashioned and narrow minded individuals. Honestly it didn’t bother me much afterwards as we played how we wanted to play not worrying about them once we realized some people will be stubborn and rude, but these old timers need to learn how to adapt and adjust to the changing times and treat everyone with respect. We ended cancelling the last 9 holes and left early to go home as we were a bit put off and didn’t enjoy golf that day as much. Not sure I would come back here after that, but we might give it a shot again one day, thanks to Mark and Elsa the couple we were paired with. They made our time out there more enjoyable compared. The starter and gentleman at the pro shop that day were very nice and courteous. The marshal/ranger was nice as he grabbed my bag as it fell off the golf cart for some reason when I strapped it in tight. I would to the marshal that even though you have been there for a long time with lots of experience, sometimes you forgot the things such as seeing things from a different perspective and looking at the bigger picture with groups playing golf, beginners are not always the slow players, sometimes it’s the ones who have been playing for a long time that haven’t changed.

Originally built in 1824 and reconstructed in 1993 after a fire, the inn seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern elegance following a renovation in 2006.
Beautiful views, gardens, location, and food! The Oban is a quaint Inn on the lake facing a golf course overlooking the lake. The room view was amazing as was the staff. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room is a bit dated but makes up for in ambience, bedding, views and garden. Loved the Oban !!

Had dinner at the restaurant. Service was attentive, yet reserved and not overdone. Everyone in our party ordered something different, and each dish was done perfectly. Very high standards all around. With our consumption of drinks/wine, the bill was somewhat pricey, but given the quality of everything, the Oban restaurant can still considered "value for money."

We spent three nights at the Oban Inn, and from start to finish, everything was exceptional. The entire staff—guest services, restaurant team, and housekeepers—were warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay memorable. The restaurant dinners were outstanding, and breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a delight: beautifully presented trays, delicious food, and excellent coffee. We also enjoyed massages during our stay, and the spa service was superb—professional, relaxing, and just what we needed. The grounds are exquisite, a perfect blend of historic charm and serene natural beauty. Our room was both historic and wonderfully comfortable, with plenty of free, safe parking just steps away. One of our favorite moments was simply sitting at the Oban House, taking in the gorgeous view overlooking Lake Ontario—peaceful and inspiring. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and it’s clear this inn takes great pride in hospitality. We can’t recommend the Oban Inn enough, and we are already planning our return visit!

I have read a lot of the other reviews, some talking about sub standard food, unfriendly staff etc. We saw none of that. Our room in the Oban house was very comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds and view are spectacular. For us it was 5 star.

Had a wonderful stay at the Oban Inn. The property is so quaint and I loved the location. The dog friendly room was amazing because it was great outside access/easy access to get in and out with a pup, and it had a beautiful view of the golf course and water. It was amazing, and the grounds are kept so beautifully and maintained with incredible florals and plants. Pool is super cute as well, didn't get a chance to use it but it looked lovely. Staff is really nice and kind, special thanks to Hazel and the younger gentleman who brought us wine glasses to our room, I didn't catch his name. Rooms here are also spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and the number of pillows was excellent, which is rare at hotels. This is definitely one of my new favourite hotels and will be one of my go to spots to stay when I'm in town. Highly recommend especially if you're looking for something dog friendly!

An experience you should have. My wife and I decided we wanted to have a special experience and a meal that is above and beyond your normal restaurant. That choice was easy, The Oban Inn. We're locals to Niagara and the reputation of The Oban Inn for the beautiful atmosphere, amazing quality and flavours of the food and the service are well known. The experience, the Oban Inn is quite a beautiful place, the lounge and restaurant are very well decorated and comfortable. It's very close to Lake Ontario, Niagara on the Lake golf course, and downtown NOTL. The staff are wonderful. We meet Alexa, a beautiful German woman who provided us exceptional service and pleasant conversation. The food, the AAA Beef Tenderloin was the single best cooked and flavourful cut of meat perfectly aged and seasoned. The potatos and asparagus were perfection. I'm typically not a potato person and these made me fall in love. The Truffle Chicken Supreme was some of the most flavourful chicken on a very large bed of risotto was a marvel. The crab cakes are exceptional. Truly a crab lovers experience. The baguette was perfect, nice crust with a wonderful soft center with a taste that encourages you to indulge more. The portions are deceiving. We were both very full when we were finished and still feel content 3 hours after leaving. If you're a local, experience The Oban Inn. If you're from out of town and want to enjoy a very accomplished Chef prepared meal at a, for the quality and experience, actually reasonably priced visit The Oban Inn. You will leave pleased. Thank you team for the excellent time.

Perfect. Just 3 blocks from the confluence of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Boutique hotel with great charm. Quiet rooms and location, delicious food, super comfortable bed. Definitely will be our go to place next visit!

Peaceful stop with beautiful grounds and comfy beds. The spa was so relaxing! It was nice to sip tea outside our cottage and listen to the birds. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pillar and Post Inn & Spa is a beloved retreat offering a blend of elegance and relaxation. Originally a canning factory, this charming country inn now boasts 122 guest rooms featuring contemporary and country furnishings. The hotel offers an array of amenities including hot springs, an outdoor swimming pool, gym, full-service spa with indoor saltwater pool, sauna, and more.
Could not have been a more perfect spot for our medieval-style wedding. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and sweet, people remembered us, the location is amazing with the gorgeous gardens across the street. The food is good and reasonably priced considering the fanciness of the restaurant. If you want an room accessible without stairs you do need to specify that, though as the bridal couple our room was automatically on the elevator side. They also have a beautiful spa with lots of treatment options, and a private outdoor Jacuzzi they call the hot springs which is lovely. (You need reservations, which come in 20 minute chunks.) There are also two pools and another, smaller less elaborate but still lovely Jacuzzi, free for use by hotel guests. The outdoor pool appeared to have snacks and drinks service, and the location also has three associated restaurants. Great visit!

Great location. Excellent. Great spa, spa experience, food, shuttle, activities. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms specious. Cleaning staff excellent. Night time always had my bed made with a rose. Will be hard to follow when I travel to other places.

This hotel is set in a lovely location with beautiful grounds. The service was quite good and the staff were welcoming. I found the room to be tired looking and in need of an update. The bathroom door could have used a fresh coat of paint on the door, as it looked grubby. I expected much more given the cost of the room each night. We visited the outdoor pool on the first day and we couldn’t get a lounge chair for quite a while, as it was overcrowded. I was later informed that day passes are given to the local people to make use of the pool. The hotel should review their policy and give priority to its hotel guests. We were so turned off that we avoided the pool for the rest of our stay. The hotel did not seem to have an adequate number of parking spots to accommodate their guests. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and not what you would expect for a $400/night hotel. We will not be returning.

The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and the garden is beautiful. The restaurant and hotel staff were great. We enjoyed the spa and the location of the hotel. Niagara on the Lake is beautiful. The deluxe room was not deluxe. Old carpeting, the bathroom had ventilation issues which led to the whole room feeling humid. We had to call the front desk twice with maintenance issues during our four night stay. The staff did their best to address them but they couldn’t address a bathroom door that had mold on it without repainting it. The bedding was lush, clean and comfortable.

Visited the Pillar and Post and the 100 Fountain spa a couple weeks ago for a pedicure. I must say this is the dirtiest spa that I have ever been to. I was the first one there when the spa opened at 9am and the showers had hair on the walls and floor, it seemed to not have been cleaned from the day before. The “hot spring” which is just an outdoor hot tub filled with heavily chlorinated water (not sure why it’s called a hot spring) was dirty as well, I was one of the first ones there, my hot spring time slot was at 9am. There was a big clump on hair on the side of the tub. The spa lounge had tons of flies and fruit flies buzzing around the garbage can so don’t sit on the chairs near the garbage can. I was there first thing in the morning and they were all hovering on and around the garbage can.. I think there must’ve been rotten garbage from the day before.. I came back later in the afternoon and it was still the same situation. The pool area was dirty as well.. there were cigarette butts under one of the tables near the pool that looked like they have been there for months. Does no one care to clean this place??? I almost wanted to speak to the manager and cancel my pedicure based on the state the facilities was kept… but I went ahead with my appointment because I had already planned to spend my day there. The nail technician was very nice and professional, no complaints there. But I’m not sure I will be returning based on the cleanliness of this place. The receptionists that morning we unhelpful and rude, I asked them if I needed a key card to access the change rooms and upstairs facilities they said no but then really you do. They also weren’t very nice. However the receptionist in the evening was really nice and helpful. I have included photos of the state of cleanliness of this hotel/spa… was really looking forward to a nice spa and facilities. Disappointing.

They call a vintage hotel for a reason. Carpets and rooms are looking tired. Convenient parking down the street. It includes electric car chargers. The gardens and the conference barn are exceptional. Very relaxing, and friendly staff. On balance recommended. But be prepared to walk 15 minutes or so to the downtown area with the shops and vendors.

absolutely disgusted with my spa portion of my stay. my 70yr old mother suggested going to the Hot Springs to relieve some pain in her back and i agreed. we were late getting in because it was crowded, not a problem. the problem is we were forced out early by a staff member. unfortunately didn't get her name, but she had red burgundy hair and wore black glasses. she referred to my mom as as a "slow old lady" to other guests waiting while my mom attempted to get her slippers on. it was wet, and she is feeble. i helped to the best of my ability. on top of it all we hadn't even finished our time slot, but again we were forced out because it was too crowded. any staff member who talks about guests that way to other guests should not be employed in a Hospitality setting. what a horrible woman. not impressed.

Overall our experience was okay. Our room was beautiful but it was next to a door that people would come and go tough all night which was quite loud. We got the dinner package and the dinner was great and made everything easy. Breakfast was also included and loved it and the server we had was nice and helpful. Across the street was a beautiful garden.

Nestled in the heart of Niagara Wine Country, Riverbend Inn & Vineyard is a Georgian mansion located on a picturesque vineyard. The inn offers elegant rooms and features an ornate bar and a fine-dining restaurant called Oaklands. Guests can savor gourmet dishes such as duck confit while enjoying sweeping views of the surrounding 17 acres of vineyards.
We had an amazing lunch at the winery’s restaurant as a group of 8, and everything was top-notch from start to finish. The wines we chose - both the red and the rosé - were absolutely fantastic. Every sip was smooth, balanced, and full of character. The highlight of the meal was the duck leg confit - perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and incredibly satisfying. Truly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time, easily at a near-Michelin level. Service was also exceptional. Four waiters arrived together to serve all of us at once, making the experience feel elegant and well-coordinated. The attention to detail and the warm atmosphere really elevated the entire meal. Overall - a wonderful culinary experience with excellent food, outstanding wine, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

My recent stay at Riverbend Inn was mainly enjoyable, but I was disappointed to find that the King bed I had reserved was substituted with a Queen without any prior notice. The room itself was large; it was undoubtedly in need of some TLC. The Air Conditioning wasn't functional, and the heat was stuck on full blast in our bathroom. That said, I do appreciate the hotel staff’s efforts to make amends. We were offered a complimentary breakfast and a bottle of wine, which was a thoughtful gesture and certainly helped improve our experience. Overall, the service was friendly. The Breakfast was good, but I recommend confirming room details at check-in to avoid. Update: Management reached out to us today regarding the overbooking situation. They were very professional, informative and apologetic. Well done.

We stayed here for one night and overall had a nice experience. The hotel is beautiful — a charming historical building with a lovely atmosphere and a great location surrounded by vineyards. The territory is peaceful and scenic, and everything was very clean with plenty of fresh towels. They also offer a convenient transfer to their wineries, which was a great bonus. On the downside, the beds were quite old and uncomfortable, and the check-in time is a bit late (4 PM) while check-out is quite early (11 AM). Still, it’s a lovely place for a short stay if you want to enjoy the Niagara-on-the-Lake wine region. 🍷🏡

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The Inn was very charming, loved being in the middle of a vineyard, and a 5 minute walk/bike ride to a beautiful trail along the river. The Inn was clean, staff was professional, and the room was large and nicely decorated. We were able to borrow bikes for a full day and rode along the river trail, to town, and hit multiple wineries for tasting along the way. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Amazing location. Beautiful house and setting but quite a few issues for the price. WiFi is shocking. There are no common spaces, no reception type of area, no sitting space outside of your room. If you come with a group, be warned you will not be able to hang out together at the Inn. If it’s sunny and warm, you can sit on the lawn, but during dinner (4-8pm) you are not made to feel welcome and the one time we sat outside and read books I was asked 4 times if I was staying at the inn. Definitely didn’t feel welcome relaxing on the chairs there! The rooms are dark with very dated decor and poor lighting. The beds are fine, but linens are quite tired and cheap feeling. The bathroom is out of the 70’s with a fresh coat of lipstick applied. There is lots of hot water and good water pressure though, so you can have a nice bath in the plastic shower/tub combo. There is no counter space in the bathroom and no place to put your clothes in the bedroom. All outlets are used so don’t expect to be able to charge your phone or iPad. The Inn looks pretty and the staff are nice. We were there for a wedding and spent 3 night and a huge amount of money. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again unfortunately.

We love this place. Have stayed once a few years ago, and have had drinks/food on the patio twice over the past two summers. It's always so beautiful and peaceful. Just a truly stunning corner of vineyard Niagara. Hope to stay again in future. The prices just seem a bit unrealistic recently, unfortunately.

Such a beautiful hotel I wish I could’ve stayed longer. We stayed 3 nights in Niagara. The building itself is so beautiful, just driving up to it is a wow factor. The inside is decorated to match the outside with a grand chandelier right when you walk in. The room was large, but still cozy with a fireplace in it. Beds were comfy. The front desk staff were always very kind and check in process was quack and easy. The view from the property is so peaceful, I could sit in the Adirondack chairs all morning with a coffee and watch the vineyard. There are also fire tables in the yard to use at night time which was very nice. Bikes are available for use and they recently got a car for guests to use as a shuttle which was nice as we were able to book it for transportation to dinner so we didn’t have to worry about driving or Uber. We also didn’t find out until the last day that we get a free tasting at Peller as guests of the inn, so I wish I knew about that earlier. Location is great as it is walking distance from Peller and Two Sisters. It’s easy to get to the town and other wineries in the region. Breakfast at the hotel is good, but expensive for what you get and we only went once. Overall, I would come back next time I visit Niagara.

End of month pull up early afternoon on the bikes and order two glasses of wine 48$ with no option except an 18 or 20 % tip and this is at the bar. Then the server had the audacity to combine the old bottle with the new … big no no. Anyway Niagara give your head a shake and do better if you have the gall to charge these prices

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. We opted for the wine trolley tour and the hotel held our bags until check in. The front desk manager was very friendly and willing to accommodate any request and answer any questions we had. We also received some fresh macarons on check in, which were delicious! Absolutely Fabulous! We spent last night at this beautifully decorated and ideally located hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake. While our room was gorgeous with high quality bedding and a stunning bathroom, what really struck us was the service. We were met at the front desk by Mikayla. It turned out our booking had an error, but not only did she offer to quickly and efficiently fix it, but her friendliness reassured us we were in good hands. Everything was fixed quickly, and she checked in with us as we returned from dinner to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our waiter, Jack, was equally lovely when we enjoyed their breakfast package that was part of our booking. We would stay again for sure.

Our stay was incredible. We drove in from Pennsylvania/USA- I booked our room at the Shaw Club to celebrate my husband's birthday and the staff went above and beyond in every possible way! From the moment we arrived, we were kindly welcomed (with our dog) and entered our room to find sweet little surprises. They provided a dog bed, potty baggies, treats, and a birthday card with jam for my husband. The room was nice and we appreciated the easy walk-out patio (ground floor), but the room felt humid and had a musty smell. We later discovered our sliding door was broken (would not lock), so this made sleeping uncomfortable. I asked the staff that night if it would be possible to switch to another room the next day and not only did they accommodate my request, but they gave us a free upgrade to a SUITE. The suite was immaculate, very clean and the best room we have ever stayed in. Truly a blessing. Words cannot describe how grateful we are. The staff truly turned everything around for the better and made our stay worthwhile. It was hard to leave and we hope to return again in the future!

A nice old-timey hotel that is reasonably modern. Took off a star because the noise isolation, especially from the hall, is not good. If someone is talking in the hall, it sounds like they’re in the room with you.

The Shaw Club is a wonderfully appointed hotel, with large, modern rooms that are clean, bright and spacious. This was my second time returning, after a wonderful visit a few years ago. However, due to the extremely poor customer service received from Teresa at the Front Desk, I will not be returning. The lack of problem solving on their end during a hiccup at check in left me feeling belittled, deflated, and overall embarrassed. I absolutely did not expect to feel that way at one of “Niagara’s Finest Hotels”. Customer service goes a long way, and had I received a quick apology for the oversight, I would absolutely be coming back for a third time.

Spent the night with my girls.Upon arrival we found food in the fridge from previous guest. Called the front desk and it was taken care of. The night stand was dusty and the outlet behind the night stand had so much dust on the wires. Totally turned us off Went down for breakfast in the morning and had to wait at least 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. We requested coffee and she said she had to take an order from another customer before getting our coffee. Another 10 minutes went by no waitress no coffee. We decided to leave at this point. We told the waitress we were leaving and all she said was "ok". Instead of trying to retain us as customers.Complained to the front desk and she offered an apology and coffees to go. We refused and left. I can't believe that we were treated like this. Usually when you go to a restaurant especially for breakfast coffee is the first thing they offer and deliver instantly You need to retrain your staff on customer service We were disappointed and went to Starbucks

My family and I stayed here for one night to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We were a group of 5 including a 1.5 year old child. We all had a great time and would definitely return. The hotel was very clean and beautiful and the lobby area was surprisingly modern. Ana at the front desk was a pleasure to talk to. She was super friendly and accommodating, she definitely made a difference in our stay. She even provided us with a list of things to do in the area. The guest lounge is an amazing bonus! We sat there after our dinner and it was perfect as the rooms are not super spacious. Ana from the front desk turned on the gas fire place and helped us feel cozy. Our dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was amazing. Our server Kim was fantastic and went above and beyond with her service and attention to detail. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The rooms are on the smaller size but perfect for sleeping and having some rest. The rooms were very quiet and we had a great sleep. Bathroom was clean and inviting.

Situated in the Old Town Historic District, it's conveniently located within walking distance of Simcoe Park and Shaw Festival Theatre. Additionally, amenities include complimentary wireless internet access, bicycles for rent, and concierge services. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast served daily.
Overall we would give the room/location 4 stars, and the staffs top it up to the fifth star! If you want a comfortable, well thought out experience, I would recommend the Harbour House hotel. We stayed one night in the Superior King Fireplace with jettub room with complementary breakfast. The room has good square footage equipped with a fridge, a table, a TV and a single couch, and the washroom was spacious with a big jet tub. The bed was comfortable, and it felt cozy to have a fireplace in the room. Parts of the room seem to be on the older side, like the jet tub was loud and not very strong, the thermostat can be modernized, the shutter blinds have a few loose flaps. Staffs at the hotel were phenomenal, everyone we met were professional and friendly. The team was always happy to help us with whatever we needed, and efforts were put in to make sure we felt welcomed and special. We also enjoyed the breakfast offered with many healthy delicious house-made items. The hotel is situated at a great location being close enough to the main area, but far enough to enjoy the quietness in the morning. We also went on a lovely walk by the water. They also seem to have bikes for rent on site, although we didn’t use it. Side note: the room is not blacked out.

Went and got a Friday night rate, some pros and cons below: Pros Location, lovely staff, perks such as welcome cookie, afternoon meet and greet wine, free shuttle and great breakfast package Cons The room we had (308) the jetted tub was loud, the AC was loud, the bathroom had no vent, and there was a fire alarm with a green light ring installed right on top of the bed. When others slam their door loudly you will hear it. Overall our room was aesthetic but overall sleep was compromised due to the cons above. Location and staff were excellent.

We stayed here for an anniversary getaway. The hotel is located close to town and right by Lake Ontario. We started our day with a beautiful sunrise walk at the lake. The rooms are pristinely clean and really beautiful. Ours had a small fridge, fireplace and jacuzzi and it was roomy. The staff is very nice and helpful. Big thumbs up for Harbour House.

We had a great stay. Big comfortable rooms. Nice facility with covered parking. The staff is friendly and professional. Shaw theatre is 3 blocks away. We are walkers so it was no problem. It is up hill so, you decide if you want to walk. 3 EV chargers on site. The chargers were not working when we were there but, they let us charge at the Shaw Club so, still no problem. Remember the low ceiling height in the parking area. We scratched our tailgate on the ceiling. We were warned about the low ceiling and forgot. Just remember to stop your tailgate before it fully opens if you park in the covered parking.

Love at first sight, sip, and bite! We arrived to a quaint and pleasant building called The Harbor House, just outside of the historic and shopping district of Niagara on the Lake (NOTL); and very walkable from and to the hotel. Emma greeted us and provided a smooth and friendly check-in. That same afternoon we enjoyed a few sips of wine with Walter who shared his story while telling us about the various wines. The following morning, actually two mornings, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast which included a variety of foods, juices, and breads. We are looking forward to making an annual trip to NOTL and will definitely stay again at The Harbor House!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at your hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, which we truly appreciated. However, I did want to mention one concern: our room was never made up during our stay. As a result, we had damp towels and an unmade bed, which was disappointing and took away from an otherwise good experience. Unfortunately, I wasn’t present at checkout to share this feedback in person, as my husband handled it. I hope you’ll take this into consideration for future guests.

My husband and I spent what we initially called our "minimoon" here in November 2024. After our phenomenal experience, we now refer to it as our honeymoon because of how lovely everyone was and how special they made us feel. Harbour House is a beautiful hotel, feeling more like a mix between a hotel and bed'n'breakfast. It's simultaneously classy and cozy, plus located a close walk to the main street of NOTL. The daily breakfast was delicious, the room was gorgeous, but what (who) really made our stay were Antoinette and Alyson. These two delightful ladies were so sweet to us and made us feel right at home. They gave us great local recommendations and fantastic conversations throughout our stay. We look forward to celebrating future anniversaries here!

room 101 is beautiful and we loved the dedicated patio area. breakfast and drinks were great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. as this is an old building, it has its quirks: hot water can be spotty during hours when it's most in demand by both guests and the restaurant kitchen. however, it's a small compromise for the overall atmosphere and service. the charm and character hotels like this offer more than make up for having to plan around plumbing. hope we can come back again for another anniversary!

We would have liked to recommend it, but unfortunately, we cannot. This historic house is seriously lacking in maintenance. The building is downright dirty, both inside and out. The rooms, located upstairs, are noisy, and very small. The air conditioning barely works, there is only one electrical outlet, the carpet is stained, and the bathroom is uninviting. The horizontal blinds do not block out enough light. The parking lot is also used by restaurant customers, so it is sometimes full. When you charge such a high price, you have to deliver a quality product, and that is not at all the case for this establishment.

If you are thinking of booking a wedding with Niagara's finest hotels - this is your warning! We had a really disappointing experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone planning a wedding. Throughout our wedding, there were several issues that Niagara's finest refused to take responsibility for. During setup, our coordinator Kyle agreed to be onsite by 2pm but was nowhere to be found. I was told that they were short-staffed because two people called in sick and as a result, Kyle had to leave to pick up linens. As a result, tables did not have linens until just 30 min before the wedding and our friends had to rush to get the set up done. During dinner, our contract promised full wine service but my husband and I were only offered wine once the entire night until we had to leave our table at 10:30pm to complain. Most of our guests ended up toasting with water, which was so frustrating and definitely not what we paid for. The worst part was that our open bar did not "open" until 10:30pm. We were told that there was not enough staff to operate the bar until our dessert had been served, despite the mandatory 18% gratuity that we paid. In addition, guests were told that we ran out of whiskey at 11pm, and many guests reported that they had to wait 20 minutes for a drink because all of the glasses were in the dishwasher. To top it all off, the sales manager stopped responding to emails after denying most of our concerns and only offering a tiny refund. For the amount we paid, the lack of professionalism and accountability was unbelievable.

In August, I was part of a wedding coordinated by Niagara’s Finest Hotels and had an extremely disappointing experience. If you are considering hosting your wedding or event with this group, I would strongly advise against it. As a bridesmaid, we expected professional services to deliver a smooth, timely event as promised in the contract. Instead, the experience was disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. On the wedding day, the venue was to begin table setup at 2pm, but the event coordinator, Kyle, was no where to be found until 4pm. As a result, linens were not on the table until his arrival, leaving the wedding party to set up tables and linens ourselves just 30 minutes before the ceremony. Instead of preparing with the bride and groom, we were scrambling to do tasks the venue was contracted to handle. Service during the reception was equally poor, especially given the venue's reputation as an established winery and restaurant. Despite full wine service being in the contract, wine was only offered once during the 3-hour dinner. The open bar, scheduled from 9pm–12am, did not open until after 10:30pm, cutting the bar service time in half. To add to the lack of accommodation - as someone who is pregnant, I was not offered any non-alcoholic options during dinner and had to repeatedly ask for water refills. When the bar finally opened, I was told to wait 20 minutes for water because they had “run out of glasses.” When these issues were raised, management showed no accountability or empathy. The sales manager, Jodi, offered no meaningful apology and eventually stopped responding to emails. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone and a significant financial investment. Niagara’s Finest Hotels failed to deliver even the basics of professionalism and reliability. I urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere to avoid the same disappointment.

If you're considering hosting your wedding with Niagara’s Finest Hotels, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I recently attended a family member’s wedding here, and the experience was incredibly disappointing — especially given the premium price point. The setup was a disorganized mess. Linens weren’t placed on the tables until just 30 minutes before the ceremony, leaving guests scrambling to help staff finish setting up. Wine service was virtually nonexistent — most of us ended up toasting with water. To make matters worse, the bar didn’t open until 10:30pm, and whiskey ran out by 11pm. The lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking. For such a special and costly occasion, the service fell far below expectations. I absolutely would not recommend trusting your big day to this group.

I attended my brother's wedding at this venue, and I was really disappointed by how poorly things were handled. The bar service was one of the biggest issues. Me and my family were frustrated when bartenders refused to serve drinks, saying they didn’t have enough servers until dessert had been served. The bar didn’t open until late in the day, and even then there weren’t enough cups to serve everyone at once. I didn’t get my first drink until 11am. Later in the evening, the bar closed at 12am, and because there wasn’t enough alcohol provided, many guests ended up leaving early to get drinks elsewhere. This was incredibly disappointing for my sister-in-law as the bride—no one wants people leaving their wedding early, especially over something as avoidable as a poorly managed bar. What made it worse was that the venue never apologized for any of these issues. A wedding is supposed to be one of the most special nights in someone’s life, and instead my sister-in-law was left feeling let down by how unprofessional the management was. I would not recommend this company to anyone planning such an important event.

I recently attended a wedding at Queenston Mile Vineyard. The service provided did not live up to the beautiful facilities. The prep work prior to dinner was rushed and done at the last minute. We were expecting an open bar for our guests. It opened well after dinner and closed well before the end of the night without any warning. No staff were available to answer questions throughout the night. What was supposed to be a beautiful day turned into a day of sub par service. I think you should consider alternatives if you are considering their services in the future.

Warning for anyone considering booking a wedding here: Our experience with Niagara’s Finest Hotels was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend it. Setup issues: Our coordinator promised to be onsite by 2pm but disappeared to pick up linens. Tables weren’t dressed until 30 minutes before the ceremony, leaving our friends scrambling to finish setup. Dinner service failures: Despite a contract for full wine service, wine was barely offered—most guests toasted with water until we complained at 10:30pm. Bar problems: The “open bar” didn’t actually open until 10:30pm because of short staffing. By 11pm, whiskey ran out, and guests waited up to 20 minutes for drinks due to lack of clean glasses. This, despite us paying a mandatory 18% gratuity. Unprofessional response: The sales manager stopped responding to emails, denied most of our concerns, and offered only a token refund. For the cost, the lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking.

The property offers polished rooms with modern amenities such as fireplaces and LED televisions. Guests can enjoy views from the garden and take advantage of complimentary wireless internet access and free parking. The eco-friendly establishment partners with local companies for toiletries and serves a contact-free on-the-go breakfast daily.
Just came back home from a wonderful stay at the Queen Regent. This was our first trip staying in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake overnight, and the central location just off the main street was perfect. We had an evening wine tour booked, and the B&B owner was very generous in terms of letting us check-in slightly early to get settled and park our vehicle prior to our tour. Overall, all spaces of the B&B are beautifully designed, including the room and the common areas. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend anyone else consider visiting the Queen Regent!

Great spot for stays with your better half.. location is great, very close to main strip in town. On-site parking, keyless entry is great. Morning breakfast is top-notch, can't beat breakfast in bed.

This is basically an Airbnb without the Airbnb listing. Don't expect to have any in-person interactions with the proprietor or any employees. The location was excellent -- a stone's throw from the main drag -- and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough. The breakfast was disappointing -- just a few supermarket pastries, a yogurt, and hard boiled egg (with no salt :( ).
Matthew L — Google review
The location here is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the area! You're directly behind a beautiful part of queen street, which is perfect. Parking is relatively easy where there is a reserved space for each guest. There is a cute patio in front of the home to enjoy morning coffee. The nespresso was a plus!! We stay on room 3 (north room). The room was well appointed, clean and had what we needed. The communication with the host was was very professional and answered any questions that we had. Check in was very simple. The downfall of the room was the rock hard bed. It was very difficult to get a good night of sleep. Needless to say, I am a little sleepy today. Luckily it is our last day of vacation. As for the the television and trying to work the channel changer, we gave up. Not a big deal but it is nice to wind down and watch program at the end of a busy day. Breakfast good and something to get you started. We have stayed in a few B and B's here where hot breakfast was served. Not a deal breaker. The price did reflect our stay compared to other places give or take saving 50.00, which is something that we would not have sacrificed if given the choice again. The gathering room downstairs was very well put together and had coffee, tea and juice. If you're looking for a place to lay your head for the night, it is a well appointed place that has everything that you need!

We loved this B&B !! The rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect; walking distance to everything! The breakfast was so good, especially that giant croissant with fresh jam. As others have said, yes, the walls are a bit thin but that is to be expected I think in a B&B and it really didn't cause any issues. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything 🙂

Very cute place in the perfect location! Amanda was also very accommodating. We cycled from Hamilton and stayed the night and were worried about leaving our bikes outside. Amanda worked with us to find a solution to keep our bikes safe. She also got us Lactose free cheese with our bfast knowing that we're Lactose intolerant. Highly recommended

Irish pub
Irish restaurant
Located in a quaint village, The Irish Harp Pub is a lively and authentic hangout offering traditional Irish food, an array of international beers, and live music. It's a family-friendly venue where kids can enjoy the tunes while adults savor Old Speckled Hen or Two-Fisted Stout. The pub's warm atmosphere and hearty menu featuring rich stews, savory pies, fresh seafood, and classic pub sandwiches make it a popular choice for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic pub experience.
I recommend not missing the Irish harp pub if you're visiting this little town. Great quality pub food and the atmosphere is lovely too. We came in on a Sat afternoon where there was live music (nothing too energetic) which adds a nice vibe to the meal. We tried the prime beef dip sandwich, the mussels and a salad. The Prime beef dip was delicious. Succulent beef in good quality ciabatta and a nice gravy on the side. The mussels were fantastic too - good quality mussels here and they were fresh. We tried the creamy wine sauce and it is quite rich with a lot of cream. However it was very delicious! A little on the sweeter side with the cream. The salad was also fresh and tasty with peaches. I've been here a few times many years ago and happy to see the quality has been consistent!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting one of the finest pubs I have ever experienced. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The decor is charming and eclectic, capturing the essence of a cozy Irish getaway, complete with soft lighting and traditional furnishings that create a magical ambiance. The team working there is truly exceptional—Their friendliness and attentiveness made our visit even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend their favorite dishes, which made our dining experience all the more special. Now, let’s talk about the food. Each dish we tried was not only delicious but also uniquely prepared, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors that danced on the palate. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, elevating the meal to something extraordinary. The building itself is stunning, with a beautiful exterior that hints at the warmth and charm waiting inside. As I looked around, I felt as though I had been transported to a magical Irish locale, where every detail contributes to a wonderful experience. I can confidently say this is a must-visit pub—one that I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and exceptional service. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

Classic feeling Irish pub that has a great atmosphere and vibe. Homey and heartwarming live music coupled with hearty dishes consisting mostly of typical pub fare. My only complaint is that service was quite slow. However the experience was overall excellent.

First time ever visiting Niagara on the Lake and this place made it an outstanding experience! The staff was phenomenal, the food was fantastic, and the best part of the whole thing is that not only did the food come out very hot, but it stayed hot through the entire bride meal! By the time I was done eating and ready for a to go box, my food was still hot, and I’m not a fast eater. I’ve never experienced that before! If you’re in the area and hungry, this place is extremely worth a visit!!

Stopped in for lunch this weekend- everything was great! I had the Irish stew, my fiance had the shepherd’s pie. Really enjoyed the champ instead of regular mashed potatoes. Drinks were good. Service was fast and friendly. Good atmosphere. Priced very well- we were under $100 for 2 meals and 3 alcoholic drinks.

Stopped in for dinner at The Irish Harp after watching Anything Goes at the Shaw Festival (awesome show BTW). The food was excellent and so was the service! There were three of us, we had: bangers & mash, shepherds pie, corned beef w/ cabbage. Everything had great flavour! And I cant forget the very delicious sticky toffee pudding. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

The Irish Harp was buzzing—just like all of Niagara-On-The-Lake—during our visit! Despite being a large party of 17, the staff easily accommodated us, setting us up at two separate tables. My group was seated in a smaller, intimate study-like room, which was perfect for conversation. The food was delicious, and the service staff were truly top-notch. They checked on us frequently, ensured our needs were met, and cleared plates promptly. Plus, the restaurant has a fantastic location right on the main strip.

Not impressed. We went because the reviews said they had the best poutine. My husband said it was good. Can’t say the same about anything else. The Caesar salad was nay appetizing with all the brown lettuce. When asked if I was finished, no one asked if I liked it or if there was anything was wrong when they took a full salad away. I had the Mac n cheese it was ok at best. My husband and the fish and chips. Said the breading was chewy and not crispy. He pulled the breading off and ate the fish. He did say the tartar sauce was quite good. This was our least enjoyable meal we had in our trip. Clean gender neutral bathrooms. When we arrived there we available tables but were told people were coming in an hour and WE couldn’t be seated. However the people that came in right before us did not have a reservation and WERE seated. We had to sit outside which my husband hates.

HOB NOB Restaurant, located at The Charles Hotel, offers a sophisticated dining experience in a historic 1832 manor house overlooking the renowned Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club. Guests can enjoy their meals indoors or on the pleasant patio while soaking in the elegant ambiance. The restaurant's name reflects its aim to provide a familiar and welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
We came during the holiday season. The decor made me think of "tasteful Hallmark" vibes. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and fit the holiday cheer. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Both the steak and the cornish game hen were cooked to perfection (the hen was served with some truly decadent creamy mashed potato). We were so impressed that we looked up who the chef was immediately after lol. We will definitely be back for the food again!!

Charming little restaurant tucked into a hotel, with around a dozen tables—cozy and cute. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and service kicked off strong. The house-made bread was excellent, paired beautifully with coffee butter and their fresh hummus—really solid start. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was flavorful but a bit overdone with the sauce and salad garnish. It felt like too many elements competing for attention. The pear salad was tasty, but it was more “pear with a side of salad” than the other way around—literally a whole pear with some greens sprinkled around. Could’ve used better balance. For mains, I had the rabbit pappardelle. I went in with high hopes, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. The rabbit was served pulled rather than in chunks, and while that’s a stylistic choice, I personally prefer the texture of larger pieces of meat—it’s just more satisfying. The shredded texture didn’t deliver the same experience. The rainbow trout was the stronger dish of the two—nicely cooked with crispy rice and flavorful cauliflower. That said, the fish itself could’ve used a citrusy lift to cut through the saltiness and bring better balance. Unfortunately, service dropped off after the initial round. Our server didn’t come back to take a second drink order, and by the time we wanted a glass of wine with the mains, it was too late. Water wasn’t refilled either, though to be fair, they did seem swamped. All in all, I’d give it a 3.8/5. The menu has potential, but a few tweaks could really elevate the experience. Even small details like the cutlery and cocktail straws felt a bit cheap and mismatched with the otherwise upscale vibe. Would I go back? Hard to say—maybe, but not rushing.

Go to HOB NOB for breakfast ! Small menu , but delicious food ! I went for sauce eggs and home fries ! 7.9/10 , the sausages were delicious! I had a nice mimosa ! Would I go back , 100% ! I want to go back ! Enjoy ! And thanks again Anna !

Beautiful restaurant, charming Gardens and courtyard. Excellent professional service service with Jocyln. However; the food could’ve been better. We had the bread board served with focaccia which was cold a little soggy. We ordered a salad with perch the skin was flaccid and the overall appearance and plating was colourless . The perch was tasty but the flavour and appearance could have been improved with a hot sear in a cast iron fry pan since it was served skin on. At some point, we’d like to come back and try the afternoon tea.

This cozy spot specializes in wood-fired, thin-crust pizzas that are perfect for satisfying your cravings. Alongside their delectable pizzas, you'll find a menu brimming with familiar Italian dishes and hearty sandwiches, all crafted with fresh ingredients.
Had a wonderful experience at Bistro Six One! The ambience was warm and inviting—perfect for a relaxed evening out. We tried their pizza and paired it with a glass of wine, and both were absolutely fantastic. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We did a girls day at Niagara on the lake for my birthday and found this spot. The gentleman who served us amazing job. The service was fast and done with a smile. We got a nice booth at the front of the bistro and it was nice to sit and watch the people past buy. We did not choose the patio because of the heat in the summer. The menu had a good selection. I would recommend this place and I’m planning on returning.

We had a great meal tonight at Bistro Six One. The food was amazing. I had the Shrimp and Sausage Ariabbatta and it was delicious. A very nice portion of pasta with 6 large juicy shrimp and plenty of Italian sausage all tossed in a spicy tomato sauce with red and yellow peppers. My wife see exposed to go with the Butter Basted Salmon, again cooked to perfection and served with a warm potato salad. The potato salad had far too much mustard, which was unfortunate, but still was edible. We had a nice table right by the front window which was perfect, giving us a great vantage point to people watch the busy sidewalk. The experience tonight was fantastic, we really enjoyed the meal and will certainly return when in NOTL.

Appetizers were the best part. Pizzas are not fully wood fired, they have cheap canned tomato sauce and the crust tastes like Walmart’s premade crust. They’re not good. The Roma pizza was insanely watery and the crust was soggy. The margherita pizza is a cheese pizza, not a true margherita. The pulled beef grilled cheese sandwich comes with a really weird jus that tastes like canned soup. Server did the bare minimum. Overall not a great experience. We paid and tipped because we were in a rush, but we won’t be back.
Fiadh H — Google review
The service was just perfect. Andrew was amazing, attentive and a great listener. He recommended the Roma pizza, which was absolutely delicious. However, the pasta dish we chose was rather disappointing: the linguine was overcooked, and the sauce was bland and lacked flavor. The outdoor patio is also lovely and adds to the overall experience.

We had a great dinner at Bistro Six-One in NOTL. The Spicy Thai Shrimp and Tomato Basil Soup were perfect starters. For mains, we tried the Philly Cheese Pizza, Shrimp Linguini, Mushroom Ravioli, and the Carne Asada Grilled Cheese. The pastas and pizza were especially delicious, and while the sandwich was good, it didn’t quite stand out as much as the others. Our server Andrew was fantastic. He was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Pizza tasted good, but unfortunately I found a hair baked into the dough on the very last bite after eating the whole thing — felt so gross afterwards. When I mentioned it, they said it didn’t come from the kitchen, though it was clearly baked in (I literally pulled it out). On the positive side, they were kind enough to void it from the bill. Food quality was nice, but hygiene definitely needs improvement.

Explorer House is a boutique bed and breakfast located in the historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The modern and elegantly appointed house offers globally themed rooms and a refined retreat experience. With only a handful of rooms available, guests are guaranteed personalized attention from the gracious hosts who cater to every need. The property boasts a garden gazebo and a 3-course breakfast, providing an intimate and luxurious stay for travelers seeking a quieter experience while still being within walking distance of the historic old town center.
My wife and I stayed over the Easter weekend and was warmly greeted by Deanna. I saw pictures on the Google maps and Expedia page but to step into it is something to behold! Everything was carefully curated to the finest detail, capturing the theme of the Safari. The bed was comfortable, and there’s a balcony for some casual reading. And although we didn’t enjoy the outdoor hot tub, but there’s one inside the room with all the amenities for a great experience. We chose breakfast on the day we left and was treated to a delicious breakfast, again with beautiful decor surrounding us and details to the napkin with the dragonfly. My favourite was the eggs Benedict! We left very grateful for this weekend getaway!

The B&B offers 5 spacious suites, each with modern amenities including air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Quaint B&B in a quiet small town. Carrie was very friendly and hospitable! The room was clean and spacious and the house was welcoming. Just a short walk to shops, boutiques, and restaurants and a short drive to wineries and the lake. It’s also only 25 minutes to the Falls. Only stayed 1 night but would definitely come back and highly recommend!

What a wonderful host Carrie is—thank you! The School House is very comfortable and spacious. There were four of us in our party, and each room had a large bed, was spotlessly clean, and came with complimentary coffee and fresh water in the fridge. The breakfast is something you have to experience—Carrie is very considerate of everyone’s needs. The location is ideal: just a five-minute walk to the shops and another five minutes to the waterfront. There’s also free parking for those traveling by car.

my fiancée and i had an amazing long weekend getaway at the school house! carrie was a pleasant and gracious host and was very communicative and easy to reach throughout our stay. the space itself was beautiful - elegant old world interior, but with all the conveniences and amenities you would want in a modern accommodation. we loved the fire place in our room and the candle warmer in the dining room - so cozy and welcoming, especially given the winter weather when we stayed. breakfast was simple, delicious, and nourishing - the perfect way to start a day of exploring the local area. we loved our stay and can’t wait to come back in the summer with some friends!

Absolutely stellar place to explore Niagara - can't praise highly enough. Room was amazing (Housemaster suite) with a great loft area with a very comfortable bed. Location is amazing, with easy strolling through town while the falls and historical sites are all a quick drive away. hat a wonderful stay in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake! We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail throughout the B&B made everything feel so thoughtful and special. Breakfast each morning was truly amazing—so carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect start to days spent exploring the area with a dear friend. Thank you for creating such a cozy and relaxing space. We’re leaving rested, full, and grateful. Wishing you all the best, and we hope to return someday!!

Beautiful B&B! Our room was large and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were wonderful. I loved the little kitchenette located just outside the bedrooms where we could just help ourselves to a tea or coffee. We had a very comfortable stay and we’ll definitely return.
Daphne F — Google review
Charming B&B within walking distance of town. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Our room was the most spacious B&B we’ve ever stayed in, and was immaculately clean. Hosts were very gracious and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Darlington house was very pleasant. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Most important our hosts were so friendly and our three course breakfast was wonderful. The location in Niagara on the lake was excellent. We highly recommend Darlington house for your stay in this lovely area of Canada.

My husband and I stayed here for one night and everything was simply perfect. The rooms are very big and the beds are super comfortable. The attention to detail and cleanliness does not go unnoticed. The three course breakfast was delicious and the hosts were wonderful. Highly recommend.

We were super pleased with our stay at Darlington house in early July. The hosts are wonderful and they go the extra mile to be sure that you are comfortable and have everything that you need for a great get-away. The three course breakfast each morning was ample and delicious! Magda was very helpful to offer many helpful suggestions of places to visit, restaurants, wineries, etc. We especially loved the location...very close to two excellent wineries; Two Sisters, and Peller Estates. It's just a few minutes drive into NOTL but away from the busy hustle and bustle.
Gary M — Google review
Magdalena and Yarek were excellent hosts and their B&B was everything we hoped for. Our room was extremely comfortable and decorated beautifully. The 3-course breakfasts were exceptional and the coffee room was an added bonus for early risers. A short walk also to the heart of NOTL.

Suites on King offers a wonderful location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. The Kate Suite provides lovely touches such as granola bites, chocolates, Keurig options, and toiletries. Free parking is available and the bed and pillows are comfortable. However, some guests were disappointed by the lack of balcony despite it being listed in the amenities. The suites are beautifully designed with skylights and an amazing terrace for enjoying the sunsets.
It was phenomenal! She thought of everything! There were wine glasses, coffee maker, cups, spoons, air conditioning, wonderful shampoos, and even slippers! The decor was just so relaxing and pleasant! I would definitely stay here again! Note: you must walk up to the second floor- no elevator.
Sharon M — Google review
The room was the smallest of the 3 suites but it ticked all the boxes. It was quiet, immaculate and comfortable, and just a few minutes to the downtown shops, restaurants and theatres. I particularly liked that the drinking water was supplied, along with a nice selection of sweets. We met our host and she was oh so nice. We also liked the coded entries - no keys to worry about. The only downside is the long set of stairs to get up to the suite, all located on the 2nd floor, but we coped just fine.
Penny S — Google review
We stayed for just one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Booking this listing and communicating with Orsi was incredibly smooth and easy. This spot is so centrally located! We were in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, so we could walk to all the shops and restaurants in the town center very very easily. The listing was as-described and we felt at home. We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone!
Alexis W — Google review
Our second stay at this lovely property - last year at the “Kate", this year at the “Diana"…. A fabulous getaway and we will definitely be back! Thank you Orsi for everything you do to make everyone feel at home - the little touches are not unnoticed - looking forward to our next visit!

Really enjoyed our stay at the suites on king. We stayed in the Kate suite and it was super cute and great for 2 people. Walking distance to everything Niagara on the Lake has to offer and very close to some pretty cool wineries!
Baylie W — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Orsi was very responsive and helpful for any of our inquiries. A great host. We were so pleased with the location and the parking. The rooms are so nice, so clean, fresh and the beds are very comfortable, and the decor is very nice. So many nice little extras.
Sue S — Google review
Suites on King is not exactly on King. The door is in a back parking lot with the name on it and a code to enter. Once you get in the door you have 19 stairs to climb. No one works there, you are on your own. My husband is 84 with bad knees and Parkinson and I have a heart condition. I would have never booked this place had I known what I was getting. The room was fine, but a 1 cb.ft refrigerator, that only big enough for water, no ice, a tiny microwave and coffee maker doesn't make it a suite. There is absolutely no service or amenities at Suites on King.

Very clean and well equipped room, great location, easy parking access. Orsi was very helpful and responsive to our inquires. We will certainly be staying here again on our next visit.

Casa Blanca Boutique Bed & Breakfast is an upscale B&B located in Niagara on the Lake, offering elegant rooms with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. The property features free WiFi and private parking. Guests praise the spacious, modern, and clean accommodations, as well as the welcoming hosts Nancy and Joe who provide exceptional hospitality. The B&B's proximity to downtown NOTL makes it convenient for exploring the area.
We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Casa Blanca Bed and Breakfast in Niagara-on the-Lake, which was super close to both the town and the wineries. We were greeted by our wonderful hosts, Nancy and Joe, who were so welcoming and attentive to all our needs while we got set up in our room. They also provided great restaurant recommendations in town that did not disappoint. My first impression when I walked in was how impeccably clean and spotless their home was— not only the main living area, but also the bedrooms and bathrooms. The room was very well appointed and spacious, with a sitting area, a desk area, fireplace, TV, and mini fridge. Robes and slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, a hair dryer, and fresh towels, including a towel for makeup. (They even had the really nice and soft, 2-ply toilet paper with the scalloped edges!) We had the best sleep after a long day of shopping in town in the king-size pillow-top comfy bed, and the pillows, which I don't normally sleep with were also exceptional! (Nancy told me that they are special pillows from Sleep Country!) As for the breakfast part of this bed and breakfast, our wonderful chef, Joe, made us eggs, and we had fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice, and he paid special attention to catering to our dietary needs, and also provided us with fun conversation and stories. Overall, I would definitely recommend this one-of-a-kind BNB and would definitely stay again longer. It really felt like home! Thanks again Nancy and Joe for our wonderful visit! - Angie & Mike

We had the best experience at CasaBlanca B&B. Joe & Nancy are welcoming and friendly. The place was a beautiful, clean everything we needed for our couple days there. The breakfasts were exceptional with enough food to last to dinner. We came as strangers & left as friends. Highly recommend 🇨🇦

We had a fantastic time here. The attention to detail in each room was phenomenal. Our hosts, Nancy and Joe, were very kind and recommended places for us to visit. Breakfast was delicious, and the beds are king sized and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Nancy and Joe are wonderful hosts. The location is an easy walk to downtown NOTL and surrounding area. Room and bathroom were spotless and had every convenience including water and sodas in the in-room fridge. Breakfasts were all delicious and we were served a perfect amount for a great start to our day. I highly recommend this bob.

Came out to celebrate Valentines Day, which was verging on catastrophe until we landed in this beautiful mixture of modern and old fashioned Victorian, Airbnb Gem, which inadvertently saved the day, not the relationship but definitely the day. It was so big with a few twists and turns, literally that had you walking into a room you thought was over there and didn't even know this room was even here. This was my second trip into my newly aquired Airbnb OBSESSION and the one that transcended me into obsessive searches for the next perfect mini getaway. Everything about it was above par. The hot tub 🤌 the king size bed 🤌 the vintage wrap around porch 🤌 Highly recommended 👌

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Casa Blanca in NOL. Nancy and Joe were the best hosts you could ask for. They made sure our accommodations were perfect from start to finish and were very helpful with local recommendations. The room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities needed; including a mini fridge stocked with drinks that were an added bonus. You can not beat the location of this B&B. It is close to everything in NOL and there are walking/bike trails that lead to the wineries and restaurants; which made getting around very easy. Each morning you will be served a plentiful home-cooked breakfast that will definitely leave you satisfied. I would also like to mention that you never feel crowded in this B&B. The walls are very sound proof and offer the needed privacy. The WIFI connection here is a huge bonus, as most of the public locations in NOL do not have great WIFI. I highly recommend Casa Blanca for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful stay in Ontario.
