Athens might have a few “top 50” bars but this definitely meets the expectations. Great cocktails met with tasteful music (can’t say for all the other bars). Would recommend Devils Milk, one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Had mixture of 3 cocktails for €30, can’t complain

This shows you what type of business this is and how nonchalant they are - threatening customers for honest reviews. I’m attaching video and photo taken from last night to prove I was there. I have taken proof of the threat and reserve any further rights. Went here because of the Top 50 ranking. The bar is cute and has a throwback vibe with a live DJ. The experience turned south quickly when I got my first highball which was flat, as I observed the bartender use an opened bottle of sparkling water. Who knows how long it’d been sitting there, and for €12 I’d expect a good drink. From there, the waitress in all blue denim outfit took my drink AND my water before I had finished. She was so busy hanging out with her coworkers and drinking behind the bar, I doubt she was fully functional. She was also rude when I told her about my drink, and said she was only responsible for cleaning the table. To get my drink back, I’d need to talk to the server or the bartender. The whole thing took about 20 min to resolve as they kept ignoring me and serving their friends at the bar. I had to flag down a poor server, who finally brought me my drink. The last straw was when they brought me a new highball, this time it was completely flat and so strong with the whiskey that it wasn’t really a cocktail at all.

The cocktails were really good! I had the glass of tears and it was one of the best cocktails I tried in Athens. But sadly, due to being understaffed, the service was horrible. The waitress was kinda rude and you had to beg to order or have the check. I don’t blame her as it was packed on a Friday night and she was the only one taking orders.

Unfortunately, I only remembered to take a photo after finishing my drink :) Overall, the cocktails were delicious. I tried the Delicious Sour and the Anti Novel Margarita. The Anti Novel Margarita was about 4.5/5 for me, while the Delicious Sour was a solid 4/5—maybe because I had higher expectations for it. The atmosphere and the street were beautiful, the bar itself looks great, and the DJ performance was really nice. Recommended!

The cocktails here are pretty good. I like 2/3 of the cocktails I got and my boyfriend also liked 2/3 he got. I would stick to the rum base cocktails. Most of their cocktails are rum based anyways. We also got snacks as well, they weren’t rememberable but not awful.

I think this drink was one of the best cocktails I have ever had! That’s why this place is amongst the best bars in the world! It’s a bit hard to find a nice seat but I guess it worth the wait. Whenever I’m in Athens, I will visit Baba au Rum 🥰

If you are a pyrate, this is the place for you. Greatest rum selection I've ever seen, pretty much covering all South America and more. Went there for some cocktails for our last night in Athens and what a good place to end up! The gents at the bar are just wizards. No surprise the bar is in top 50 bars since 2019 (at least) permanently.

AMAZING! Really reaches the expectations, has a great ambiance, the staff is great and mostly the drinks were amazing. We ended up trying 3 and they were all great. We weren’t going to eat, but we ended up trying the corn balls and WOW!!!! So tender and delicious. Highly recommend the bar.

They have a great selection of classic cocktails, but also a lot of very weird mixes that somehow work so so well. Will be returning to this one, for sure!

It was definitely one of the best bars I have ever been in. Amazing staff that knows their stuff, incredible selection of very tasty cocktails. Loved it, went there 2 times in 3 days. Tried multiple different cocktails, loved hippocampus and the one with bergamot and pine. Also the complimentary nuts were very tasty. They definitely know their stuff.

A few days before our trip to Athens I read that The Clumsies was named one of the best cocktail bars in the world. I was very excited to see it was only a few minutes walk from our hotel. The bar is very quaint with fun decor and comfortable seating. We ordered the cocktail flight to share and I got the terra cotta cocktail (sorry, don't recall the actual name) and my wife had the Mediterranean Gimlet which she said was delicious and tastes like a Greek salad. Definitely a must for any travelers that love unique cocktails in a fun setting.

I come to Athens every year and I finally made it to Clumsies. I had the highly awarded Aegean Negroni which was nice. The prices are great considering the award it has achieved as one of the highest rated bars in the world for 2025. For me a place that you come once and then try the many other boutique bars in and around Athens - hundreds of them. Ps not sure why the complimentary peanuts were half full ? Left over from a previous order or they find that’s all you really need? It kinda stood out

Excellent bar-restaurant in a large yard. Great cocktails and very tasty Asian food! Good atmosphere, good music. They also have a club but it was a closed evening so we didn't go in, although it was recommended.

Very large outdoor space, shaded. Was hard to get service sitting inside in a booth. Good food and excellent coffee. They have decaf coffee and almond milk. Order a Greek mountain tea. The chicken tenders were huge and very delicious.

Great place. Food is mostly Asian fusion. Good portions which taste good. Really good atmosphere, music & unique lay out. Better cocktails can be found elsewhere. Nevertheless a must visit place if you’re in Athens.

Absolutely amazing. I love that it is focused on sustainability, the interior is lovely, the little courtyard adorable. Everything we ate was good, the burger, wrap, smoothie was amazing, coffee surprisingly not so great but maybe that's just me. The staff was nice. Loved the place and coming back for sure.

Not the beeest place to come if you’re a tourist looking for authentic Greek food, but they make killer cocktails, the ambiance is amazing, and the food is great (just not suuuper Greek lol). We had the Dog, the artichoke salad, and a green smoothie and everything was very tasty. The wait staff was also very responsive and friendly.

Great place to have your coffee or lunch. There is a garden at the back with trees which makes the experience a nice quiet break, given that you are at the busiest part of Athens. This time I had lunch as well; their cuisine has a middle eastern touch so expect a plethora of spices, which might put of someone who just wants to eat chips with mayo ( my friend's teenage kid). I tried the burger and it was super delicious a bit on the spicy side. Service is a bit slow when you sit down and wish to order (no eye contact and depends on the level of professionalism of the waitress). It is also a super trendy night club with loads of live DJ acts but I personally consider it as my favourite coffee break place when downtown.

A small, down-at-heel approach to the bar masks a trendy but relaxing bar with a huge outdoor shady garden perfect for winding away an afternoon or night. Great, chilled beats in the evening with everyone chatting and everyone having a great time and zero judgement or hassles. By the time night comes it turns into a Peter Pan-esque garden, somewhere you’d want to stay all night. Cocktails were cool and not overly expensive and the food surprisingly good.

The Bloody Mary was a big disappointment. It was too salty and the tomato juice was a very basic variety. It was a busy night but more attention from the staff would have been appreciated. At this level a bit more care from the bartender is required.

I must say that i was a bit on a rush to find a place to have a quick lunch before going back to the conference and it turns out that i found this awesome gem. The service was quick and impeccable, allowing me to enjoy the time left into eating peacefully. From sitting to getting food at the table in less than 10 minutes. Also, the location, space and vibe is really jazzy and relaxing making it really enjoyable. If you are in the area don't think twice and eat a truffle burger, delicious 🤤

Such a cool bar! Love the atmosphere here, the drinks are good and love the wide selections between alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks, and all the Waite staffs are friendly is a plus! we will be back

I mean this when I say this, this food is TOP TIER. As an aussie, it’s hard to find good eggs in Greece, but this was next level. The yoghurt bowl too. Absolutely incredible! Courtyard vibe is so cool too

A unique place in a typical “old Athenian neighbourhood” building, the owners have kept many of its original architectural features and made it even better! The service is great, the quality is even better! If you visit the historical industrial district of Athens or Keramikos’ ancient cemetery, this is a must place for a coffee, brunch or even a drink at night! In a walking distance from Keramikos metro station (blue line) and Petralona electric railway station (green line)!

What a lovely place hidden well in the centre of Athens! The service was excellent, the food interesting and nicely presented and the decor unique. Definitely will come again.

I was there in September and Epopa had the catering for a convention at a nearby building . Coffee & food was of excellent quality and the staff efficient and friendly. It was served at a picturesque alley that looked like a real old yard.I can not commend on the drinks, since it was a morning function.

After enjoying the ancient monuments in the Acropolis area, we decided to have dinner at City ZEN All Day Bar Restaurant. The reason we chose this place was that an older gentleman at the entrance warmly greeted us earlier in the day, so we went upstairs to make a dinner reservation and requested outdoor seating to enjoy the view of the Acropolis as it lit up from sunset to night. However, we noticed that the staff repeatedly emphasized the 25-euro minimum spend per person when we were ordering. While we didn’t mind, we observed that other tables seemed to only order a beer and leave, which made us wonder if there was some form of differential treatment. Additionally, we asked a female server for forks three times, and although she said she would bring them, they never arrived. Despite these service issues, we were satisfied with the food and ambiance. The price was reasonable, and the sunset and night views were stunning. It made for a very enjoyable evening with family on our first day in Athens.

the servers are really nice and very helpful and the place is gorgeous but the food is just really not it. it was just incredibly boring and overpriced. the pasta with chicken tasted like something you would feed a 3 year old with just pure cream and nothing else. and the chicken was so dry and tasteless. most of the other food was very sad as well and the greeksalat had feta with vanilla in it?? weird experience but i’d say if you are just here for drinks it would be really good since the view if just perfect.

What a rip-off! We went there for a quick break, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. First, we chose a rooftop table and politely asked if they could open the umbrella so we wouldn’t sit directly under the sun while enjoying the Acropolis view. The staff flatly refused — with no real explanation, just “we can’t do that.” So we moved downstairs instead, but the service didn’t get any better. The waiter ignored us for about 20 minutes before finally taking our order — and it wasn’t even busy. The table next to us, who arrived later, had already received their food before our order was even taken. To make things worse, it seemed like the waiter was more interested in chatting up that table (which happened to be all girls) than actually serving customers. After repeating our order several times, he still managed to get it wrong. And when the bill came, it was confusing and looked suspiciously off — even after asking twice for clarification, it still didn’t add up. There are plenty of better places nearby with honest pricing and decent service. No wonder this place was almost empty. Definitely not recommended.

We chose this restaurant primarily for its beautiful views. From the reservation stage onward, the staff were courteous and helpful. The waitstaff were exceptionally attentive, anticipating even the subtlest needs, and the service throughout was truly world-class, greatly enhancing our dining experience. We enjoyed it so much that we returned to the same table the following day and were delighted to be served by the same attentive gentleman, whose recommendations - including excellent cocktails - were much appreciated. The food was flavorful and well prepared, with generous portions, particularly the desserts. Spending our final evening in Athens here was a pleasure. Thank you!

Really great location (central, safe, quiet) and the staff were super friendly. The rooftop bar is immaculate with a great view and amazing food/drinks. The rooms are cleaned daily and are quite nice. The only issue we had which was super manageable was that the drain in the bathroom was emitting a smell. We were able to open the bathroom window and air it out. I definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here for two nights. The staff were very helpful. Check in was super smooth and easy. The room we had was small but quaint. We had enough space for our luggage. Very clean and comfortable. We had the view of the church and it was beautiful to see in the day and night. The rooftop is also a beautiful spot to visit. We would go up during the day and night to enjoy the view. A lot of restaurants nearby. A grocery store just downstairs. Another plus is that if you are a guest at the hotel you can get 10% off on your order from the restaurant downstairs.

I booked a table on the rooftop as had been recommended by friends. Cocktails were fabulous and the perfect sunset view of the Acropolis. Food was good but not exceptional and sadly spoiled for me by the number of smokers around us. I thus would definitely go back for cocktails as there was a great atmosphere and the view was fabulous. I would eat in the downstairs restaurant or elsewhere.

The roof top restaurante offers amazing views of the Acropolis, perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The food was good and well prepared, but the highlight was the service. Stayed here one night and it was great. Super comfortable rooms and bed. The roof top bar was great and prices weren’t crazy. Amazing view of the acropolis. Only slight issue is the spiral staircase to the roof, my parents struggled with that. Wish the elevator went all the way to the top. Also the view is a little blocked from the back seats which is a shame.

recently visited Ciel Restaurant in Athens, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the risotto, and it was honestly one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had. The texture was completely off mushy and raw,The flavor was bland and unbalanced. For a restaurant that presents itself as a high-end dining spot, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. I had been looking forward to a nice meal, but instead, it was a major disappointment. I rarely write negative reviews, but I think it’s important to share honest feedback. I truly hope the restaurant takes this as a chance to improve, especially when it comes to their risotto and overall food quality.

For a rooftop bar, it did what needed to be done. I ordered the Mastiha cocktail and it wasn’t strong and very sweet. If you love sweet cocktails, it will work for you. Service is decent and I didn’t need a reservation to get in. You will also get really great views of the Acropolis and the sunset unobstructed.

It’s our first day in Athens! If a drink cost $17 Euro Drinks then the service needs to also be up to that level $17. We spend $40 Euro for three drinks. My drink was just juice $8 Euro for a glass full of ice and a little juice Really? I don’t drink alcohol so this was well not what I expected. The waitress was not great, she spend most of her time on her cell phone, never once came to check on us, do you need more drinks, ask us if we needed anything? I had to keep asking her for things, raising my hand asking for things more pop corn, another cherry, a glass of ice for the water. This is a tourist spot not one locals so you are our first impression. The view is spectacular, Go for the view and enjoy it but just ask for a different waitress. The blonde young lady who took my photos was awesome we should have tipped her instead. $40 for drinks! Atleast come ask us if we want another drink, a piece of bread or something. But the View was worth it.

Wonderful view of the city, drinks are good but a little pricey for the area. A Coke is 5.50 and an Arizona iced tea is 7 euros but a beer is 8. Mixed drinks are 14-22. We are a group of 8 with one under 18 and they were quick to tell us everyone in the party needed to order something. A little petty considering our bill would be over 100 euros with the rest of us ordering.

It was nice, with a great view of the acropolis. Reaching the place can be a bit confusing - just go into the building google indicates and then take the elevator to the top floor - after that you still have to climb a set of stairs to reach the rooftop though! The service itself was ok but I thought it could have been better, especially when it started raining and I wasn't sure where to move. Ordered Gemista and some salad, the gemista was a bit cold.

Proper house music lounge/bar with great drinks and impeccable vibes. The decor is amazing and well thought out and the service is great. The crowd is 28 to 40+ years old. Anyone coming here won’t feel too old or out of place. The place can get quite crowded at some point.

The atmosphere is immaculate. It was pirate-themed, with splendid interior design. The cocktails fitted the bar so well, and were delicous. The waiters were kind and quick, so we didn’t have to wait to order. There was also a dj, which made our overall experience amazing!

The attic urban rooftop restaurant offers a beautiful view of the ruins as well as downtown Athens from above. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow as they were very busy. Make sure to make a reservation to secure a spot.

Great place with good food, good drinks (very interesting cocktails!) and the best view onto the Akropolis. Especially at night the view is crazy and they even have a DJ playing so the atmosphere is awesome. Giorgos Z was really nice and caring. Sometimes we just had to wait a bit until someone came to order but guess that's because of the many guests.

The cocktails we had here were delicious and the views are spectacular, city and Acropolis and ruins. The food was rather disappointing though. Beef carpaccio wasn't good at all and the bread was nothing noteworthy. They'll charge you extra if you make the mistake of ordering butter 😂 stick with olive oil. Service is good and the ambiance is really great.

It’s ok at best. The vibe and atmosphere are very nice, minimalistic and chic! The food was nothing I’d ever crave to have again. We had a few different items on the menu (fried feta sticks, beef tacos, paprika chicken strips and pinza with prosciutto) and all lacked flavor. I was expecting more for the price and great reviews. Would recommend going for cocktails after the sun goes down for a nice view of the acropolis! However, expect to spend about €14-16 per drink. Some cocktails are very small. I personally think there’s better late night rooftop options nearby

The decor was the best part about Tiki Bar Athens. We each had a cocktail and they were good (I had a Paloma and my husband had a Mai tai) but nothing special. The complimentary popcorn as a bar snack was a nice touch. Service was slow though so I went to order the drinks at the bar myself and even ask for the bill when we were ready because the wait staff was nowhere in sight.

Tiki Bar Athens is an absolute hidden gem! The atmosphere is so fun and unique, and the drinks are incredible – some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. We had this added as a place to grab a drink while visiting Athens. When we went we got some food as well as we hadn't had dinner. Wasn't expecting much but the chicken burger was one of the best we've ever had! We had the zombie cocktail which was really strong and really nice! Only place we went to twice as we had to go back for the food and drink!

Nice jazz bar in the quiet part of Kolonaki. Mistakenly, I went there expecting to enjoy some live music -- the place is what is says it is, a bar, perfectly styled for the Jazz with some nice music playing and a good selection of well-made cocktails available. On the night I visited, the place was crowded mostly with locals, so I assume the bar is well-liked among those who know how to avoid tourist traps of Athens. The gentleman pictured is a bartender, who has volunteered to pose for an image.

Very cool place for something a little different in Athens. It was super busy when are got there around 10 PM on a Saturday, and we were lucky to find a spot to sit. Nice drinks and a good mix of people.

Great music! Great team running the place! Tight seating which is a feature here. Pleasant drinks with rare choices (loved the chartreuse). A tad on the expensive side though but remember this is Kolonaki. Love the no smoking indoors rule. Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic wine bar in Athens, we came back two days in a row because we loved it. We tried both of the Spritz which were great and on our second visit we shared a bottle of wine which was recommended to us, which was delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Staff were nice and accommodating. A worthy visit for a premium cocktail. Highly recommend trying the Maimou (Rum, Passion Fruit, Coconut, Lime and Vanilla Bitters) - it’s so good, i got a second to go.

Regardless, it’s worth a visit for the ambiance, music and creative cocktails they offer that you won’t find anywhere else. My visit was during the weekend daytime which offered plenty of seating. However, at night, I’m sure it is plenty busy!

Have been in Athens for a week now and this is the best food, service and atmosphere I’ve experienced so far!! Highly recommend the salmon avocado bruschetta! Noel was on our radar as a cocktail bar until we walked by it during the lunch hour and people were inside. We changed our original lunch plans to dine at Noel and didn't regret it. To eat, we ordered pork gyros and the cheese pizza for our eight-year-old daughter. Everything was delicious! The gyros don't come with sauce or tzatziki, but it didn't need it. The meat was perfectly flavored and paired well with the bread and onions. To drink, I ordered one of their more sweet cocktails with a berry garnish. It was refreshing!

Visited Athens this summer and stopped at this cocktail bar for drinks. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing, super chill and relaxing. And the drinks were do die for. Will definitely return next summer! Highly recommend!

We found this place on accident, but the decor looked intriguing. Inside it was whimsical and stunning! We ordered a burger and Greek salad it was really good, as well as the Nectar of the Isles cocktail. It was the most beautifully decorated restaurant we’d been to. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The service was good. We would definitely return!

We liked the atmosphere of this local place. We sat outside but there is another world inside of this place and the decoration is impressive. We were a company of 9 and we went there to this bistro , because we could combine and food and coffee and beers and wine and dessert.. so we had a dessert which was tasty ... Chicken breast with baby potatoes.. few beers from small breweries and coffee ... Nice interior too... We went early so for all the time we spent there we were the only customers.

Stopped because the place looked promising. We had one quick drink and stayed for about 20 minutes. The waiter visibly cracked it when we politely declined to leave a tip. I’ve travelled extensively across Greece, speak the language, and have visited everything from high end venues to humble family run tavernas. Never have I encountered such rude, entitled behaviour. This wasn’t just awkward, it was absolutely disgusting. Hospitality is supposed to be a cornerstone of Greek culture, and Kukos completely missed the mark. There are far better spots in Athens that don’t treat you like a walking wallet.

Set in a stunning converted neoclassical home, Teras takes its name from the large courtyard terrace. A lovely atmosphere and obviously a hit with locals, the cuisine and drinks are also interesting to visitors. We enjoyed (Greek-style) chicken tacos, a very nice kale and chicken salad and best of all, a prawn orzo (κριθαράκι). Will be back!!

Cool place for breakfast, the service was good and the food was fresh and in general the atmosphere is super easy and calm. I must say we had a bit of a problem with one of the dishes we ordered- the “classic omelette” by mistake we had some cloth thread inside the omelette, but the staff was really friendly and they’d cleaned it from the bill immediately. Anyway I’m recommending it if you’re in the area!

We went there in the evening for some cocktails, which had a really nice atmosphere. The music was fairly loud inside but was a good volume outside where there was plenty of seating available. The cocktails came quickly and we're served by friendly staff, and the basque cheesecake was delicious.

Wonderful service and atmosphere. Unfortunately their foods doesn’t deliver the same. I know I’m from the United States, but these things had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Manager said thats the way they were supposed to be. 😂 . Catch of the day was sea bass. Zero flavor. However they do have a good pastry chef. 300 Euro dinner and left hungry. Best thing going for this place is the location and the view.

Great view of the acropolis on the right side of the seating area. Food and service were good and the music was nice. A bit more upscale than other rooftops and comes with a premium as well that is well worth it with the unobstructed view. There is a line as you enter so maybe it’s best to book in advance.

Booked in advance, €50 deposit required that will be deducted from the final bill. The food and service were excellent. I appreciated the cocktails were insured by graffiti and they were delicious. It had a unique flavor combination I've never tried before. Not bitter and very refreshing, just how I like it. - Vermouth: Really good and refreshing! 💁🏻‍♀️The Service: The staff were nice and our drinks came out quickly. 🅿️ Parking: They don't have a dedicated parking lot. 💭Final Thoughts: It’s on the expensive side, but it’s a great place to enjoy some cool drinks at night.

We were initially drawn to the bar for its supposedly amazing views of the Acropolis, however we struggled to make reservations as our calls were not taken, we decided to show up without and did have to wait around in the very tightly made spiral staircase. Only to be seated directly to a speaker playing some of the most intense house music at an alarmingly loud volume. The views were nice only if you were sat on the edge of the bar’s terrace (assuming you dont mind everyone at the bar approaching you all night to take photos from that side). Drinks were overpriced and not to my liking personally, i stuck to the wine list — but the atmosphere i imagine could be tolerable and even enjoyable in the summer (especially if you are tipsy)

We had a light dinner here on the top floor of the hotel. The food felt overpriced. The menu doesn’t offer many options, which was a bit disappointing. We ordered sea bass carpaccio, grilled shrimp, and octopus stew. The dishes were just okay overall, lacking depth of flavor. As a fine dining spot, it focuses on presentation—large plates, small portions, and well-decorated food. Of the three dishes, the octopus stew was my favorite. The grilled shrimp had a pleasant hint of charcoal, but the carpaccio was forgettable.

Pre booked this rooftop restaurant, hoping to have a night view of acropolis. But somehow, it's a bit disappointing cos you can only see part of it. But the full view of lycabettus hill is amazing. Service is great and food are average with the price tag.

We went up to the rooftop bar right before sunset for a round of drinks and a few appetizers. The drinks were very pretty, and I enjoyed my €13 Ame Se gin cocktail. A friend got a Greek salad and she didn’t see to care for it. Another person in our group got the quinoa dish and enjoyed it. Staff was very helpful in taking pics of our group. The view and photo ops are what really sells the place. We arrived close to 90 minutes before sunset and had the perfect table. When we left 30 minutes prior to sunset, there was a long que of people in line to get a table.

The views here are amazing - you can't see the Acropolis clearly from the rooftop but you get a great view of the other two hills in Athens. It's a very chill and relaxing vibe and we loved it as our first stop in Athens. Unfortunately, the food was very average and not the most delicious. We also found a rock in our food and were super glad we caught it before we cracked a tooth. Overall, chill vibes, not great dining experience.

After flight delays, being rerouted, and staying awake for 30 hrs, we had our first meal and gass of wine in Greece at our hotel at Art Lounge Rooftop bar. We got lucky and were able to walk in, almost certainly because it was a Monday night. Our server, Stefania was very warm, attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable about Greek wine. We had a wonderful experience. The gnocchi carbonara was mvp.

The restaurant is well dedigned in an elegant way and is hidden from the overall "beauty" of the surroundings. I went there for a business dinner but I dont think there would be much difference if it was privately. Went there @18.30 and left @22.30 having just finished the dessert. There were long waiting times even for a beer (not all of the to be fair) - we had the food around 21.00 although we didnt delay the order. The steak (veal) was well cooked but nothing special in terms of taste. Salad was better. Pinsa good but rather small. Dessert was interesting but only the pastry, sorbet chocolate so and so. Overall I dont believe it was worth the price the company paid and I would most probably wouldn't choose it myself again. Variety of beers was reduced as opposed to wines, but since we didnt opt for wine I cannot say anything.

What a gorgeous building this is in, really adds to the atmosphere! We were there on a quiet Monday lunchtime to wait out some poor weather, and lucky to have the owner choose some glasses of wine for us from the very very extensive menu. Really great wines and service. Had a light bite from the menu, very high end delicious cooking with some vegan/veggie options. Definitely recommend this place.

The lady who served us was lovely, welcoming and very knowledgable of Greek wines. She also taught us some Greek words. Made a booking for 4 inside without issues. Arrived and got sat outside in the hallway - slightly annoying but at least the staff apologised for the change of plans. Ordered from a comprehensive wine list and everyone was satisfied. Got a really nice beef tartare, the chicken was alright and the dishes generally satisfactory with the exception of the aubergine that was a let down, the various purees really didn't mix well. Service was great, the staff attentive, quick and polite. Fairly expensive, justified mostly by the service and the location. Decent option but there's a lot of good alternatives in the city centre to better cater to someone's tastes.

I came quite early (5pm) so fewer people were there. The setting is pleasant,in traditional art gallery. I really like the DJ style because it fits the place. The cocktails shown are the Alexander and delusional margarita. Both were great.

Finished up stong with the dry vermouth done there. Amazing alchemy lab they have in the back. Food ... I would go for smaller portions. Good but not quite there with the cocktails. All in all, great experience. Will go again when in Athens.

A whiskey bar that has one of the largest collections of whiskey that my husband has ever seen! He was very impressed with the menu and got to try some whiskeys that he hadn’t even known about. I’m not into whiskey but I do enjoy cocktails so I had the bees knees which was made perfectly. The service was great, as we finished the bartender took us downstairs where they stored even more of their rare whiskies which the men were very excited about. Highly recommend for whiskey lovers in Athens 🥃

One of the nicest bars I've been to in Athens with great background music. Inside the decor is cozy, warm & inviting ... whereas outside it feels more like a street cafe that is ideal for warm autumn days & evenings with a bit of a breeze! The whiskey selection is outstanding and there are plenty of other drinks and cocktails on offer ... as well as snacks, cheese and cold cut plates ... for all tastes! My hubby tried the mini burger with his whiskey which he said was tops and I enjoyed a glass of red wine with freshly roasted nuts. The prices are reasonable for the quality and truly friendly service! We are definitely going back really soon.

Quantity and quality are good. There are so many different types of whiskey in the menu that it can take hours for you to order. The servers are very polite and well trained. I totally recomend it.

This was a cool cocktail bar that had a really nice ambiance to it. We enjoyed the drinks and the bar bites. The mini burgers were our favorite. Only issue we had was most the tables were completely empty but designed as reserved when we asked. We spent an hour and a half at the restaurant and none of the reserved tables were every occupied by guests.

The atmosphere is very relaxing, and so goes the food. What they call a toast, is a Panni for me. It was wonderful. The cheese was light and so was the ham. And the textures of both were delightful. As an afternoon snack, this is a wonderful location and place to sit at. Not a lot of foot traffic means that you will receive your peace and quiet as needed.

Such a disappointment. I’ve been looking forward to trying this place out and it was such a waste. The tartare was uneatable with huge chunks of meat and no flavor. The steak is said to be “pan fried” but it seemed boiled and tasted fishy. Not sure how you can mess up a steak so badly, but they did. The salad was bland and underwhelming to put it nicely. Only go if you want wine or bread, but there’s a church up the street for that.

Good place located on the main pedestrian street a few minutes from Acropolis. Went there for a quick bite and coffee. My smoothie was a bit too sweet and definitely not worth 7euro however service and coffee were nice.

The view is fantastic, it has three floors, the top one is like a closed roof garden. Evening and night time is ace. There is a balcony on the first floor and a large window on the second. Although people smoke on the top floor the atmosphere is not that stuffy. I think they do not smoke on the other floors. Nice coffee and friendly staff.

Great view from the roof garden all over the ancient city center (Akropolis until Temple of Theseus) and excellent kitchen. A reservation for a table in the upper floor and the roof garden is recommended in the evening. Or you are early enough (about 18:30h the latest) in order to finish your supper before guests with reservation arrive.

Stopped there for a piece of cake and a cup of tea/coffee. On the negative side (and the reason for the low rating): they brought us the Brunch menu when ordering (where the prices were lower) and charged us by the Normal menu (the difference was of only 2 euros, but still). In the end we paid the price from the Brunch menu, but only because we noted that the check was incorrect and asked them about it (although, at first, the waiter tried to argue that the check was correct and showed us the Normal menu to support his argument). On the plus side: the chesecake was very good.

We visited Chocolat Royal after seeing some positive reviews but were disappointed with their menu amongst other aspects of the restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful however they were not able to hide how lost and unprepared they were. There are different menus depending on the floor you choose to eat. Top floor has incredible uninterrupted views of Acropolis hence they don't try very hard and the food available is mediocre. The below level is beautifully appointed and so is the bar on the ground floor however the food although slightly better is nothing to rave about. Overall a good place for a drink or two...but I would eat elsewhere....not to mention that it is terribly overpriced.

Great place to eat, you can eat up stairs at no extra cost, food is great, when it's busy expect to wait a while between meals, I wanted a dessert but In my opinion i waited too long in between my Starter and Main course so I didn't bother ordering the dessert I wanted.

This rooftop is amazing! It’s best to make a reservation in advance to avoid waiting in line. Prices are fairly reasonable. The place is very crowded and full of teenagers. Compared to similar places in the area that require a minimum charge, this one doesn’t — that’s why I chose it, and maybe that’s also why it’s popular among teenagers. The shisha is expensive though — €40.

Last Tuesday evening Gino was our waiter and he was taking care of us professionally. Food is excellent and the view is unbeatable as you can see the busy Monastiraki square and the Acropolis as well. Very pleased we chose this place. I’m in the hospitality/tourism business as well, so I’ve seen many places internationally. Thank you!

Great cocktail and food place located on the rooftop with great views of the Acropolis. Ok so first things first, with a place like this I don't expect amazing food, so when I got staff in the restaurant downstairs to double check that they had gluten free bread and food, they went away, came back assuring us they did. No surprise to find that after we'd seated, I went to order and there was no gf specific food. All in all I'd still recommend the place. It's well designed and they have some higher tables further back, so you can still enjoy the view. The cigarette smoke got a little overwhelming, more as a heads up to those also not as familiar with the constant clouds of smoke. STAFF: Overall very accommodating, friendly and efficient. FOOD: An array of typical tourist affair: burgers, seafood, grilled meats, salads etc. Vegetarian options are available. Reasonably priced (drinks are not surprisingly the most expensive), considering the touristic area it sits in. Lemonade is about €5-10 and water for the table is €1 min. Meals are between €12-25 on average. ACCESSIBILITY: They have lift access, though it may be tight for a wheelchair to move around during peak times (sunset/holidays). OVERALL: Would definitely recommend.

Ate here our first night in Athens. The service and the view are amazing. The food is average, it ended up being our worst meal in athens, but as one of our taxi drivers told us there are to bad meals in athens. We can agree with this. The views and drinks are the highlights here

We had a bench seat looking right over the city and towards the Parthenon - such an incredible view. It’s a bit packed in, but that actually added to the charm, as we ended up chatting with everyone around us. The atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed. We only had drinks, but service was quick and the staff were great. Would definitely recommend!

Nice escape when you need to relax a bit from the city of Athens, only 15 minute drive by car/taxi. Great vibes, good music, good food & drinks. We had two beach beds, which was lucky because it was very busy on that Sunday. To get our food and drinks took a while, something went wrong, but they apologized and we got one drink for free.

Coming from NYC, I was shocked by how amazing the food was here + the atmosphere! Came around 5pm for dinner and found out lounge chairs were free after 6pm. Got to take a swim and tan just in time for sunset at 8pm. Stayed till about 2am for their party which had a great DJ. Food was reasonably priced for a club restaurant + shots were cheap compared to NYC prices. Overall a definite plus to a trip in Athens if you want some beach and club time!

Beautiful beach with great vibes! The entrance fee is €8 on weekdays and €10 on weekends. You can rent a sunbed on the beach the cheapest option is two sunbeds with an umbrella for €10, and a better option is €25. They also have private cabanas if you want more privacy. The beach is very clean, and the atmosphere is great relaxing music, nice people, and clear blue water . The food is average, nothing special but the prices are reasonable. However, the bathrooms and changing rooms aren’t clean, and there are no closed showers, only open ones outside. So keep that in mind if you plan to shower after swimming. Overall, it’s a beautiful and enjoyable beach, definitely worth visiting There’s also a My Market supermarket just 5 minutes’ walk away you can grab snacks, chips, and drinks from there. We arrived by bus, and the stop was just a 2-minute walk from the beach super convenient!

Beautiful beach! Good amount of sun loungers, and staff were helpful in explaining the different prices (5-25 euros). Entry is 8 euros. The cocktails were delicious, highly recommend the Tropical Passion. I ordered a simple burger and chips, also very tasty, albeit a tad pricey. Overall, a nice day at the beach and escape from the city! X

A decent beach near 20min from central Athens. You’ll have to pay 8 euros for the entry and 5 euros for the cheapest sun-bed on a week day. During weekends it is 10 and 7 euros (you have a lot of other options) The sea is very clean and beautiful. The sand had some garbage in it, but overall was pretty clean too. The beach has nice outdoor showers, toilets and changing rooms. You can also order the variety of food and beverages, but we didn’t try any of it

Excellent place we reserved a big cabana.water and ice included plus towels. Beach is super nice rough sand but tolerable food options are excellent something for everyone.prices are average for a club atmosphere. Music is great not to loud you can still have a conversation. Our cabana attendant was great Katerina is excellent. They speak English and Greek . I’m pretty sure they speak Spanish as well . Highly recommend

Super wide area with their own beach. To enter you must pay the entry fee. It depends on which date, events, day time or night time. You would have very nice and comfy seats by the beach or inside. Service is quick and professional. The vibe at night (before 11pm) is quite slow and under expectation (maybe too early) or maybe they are too wide.

Great place for food and wine! Had the scallops and calamari and both were some of the best dishes we’ve tried in our Greek trip. The scallops is a must try if you like raw seafood. Great wine selection and suggestions on what goes with the dishes. Amazing service

What an experience! A true display of hospitality is within these walls. Vaulted ceilings, vibrant patio, vaulted wine room. Many many wines available by the glass, and so much more available by the bottle if you seek them out. Lamprini is an absolute gem, and was a joy to see both of our visits. More than accommodating, she made a lasting impression on us. The wine selection is well curated from choice selections across the world. Served in proper stemware and with care. If you are into wine and are tired of things being served in ISO/Port glasses you will have a great time here. Many thanks Lamprini!

Very disappointing experience. We ordered two wines from the “Fine Wine” selection, and both were poured from the end of the bottle. One of them was completely full of cork residue. The bartender didn’t ask if it was acceptable, as is usually done, and didn’t even apologize when I showed him the glass full of cork pieces. For a place that presents itself as a professional wine bar, this level of service and attention to detail is unacceptable. I would avoid.

A must go to enjoy great wines and amazing food. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the classic flight of Greek wines which came with great explanations and complimented the foods we chose. We enjoyed the octopus, tartare and duck then had both desserts which were also amazing. Highly recommend if looking to experience good wines and amazing food.

Great place, the usual variety of beer etc you can expect, but also the food is very good, everything was nice, the combo plate was more generous than I'd expected, especially for the price. So overall good value too. The only thing is I'd make the "hot" wings actually spicy ;)

The bartender's recommendations are ELITE. He knew what I wanted better than me. I kept coming back here during my stay in Greece and opened myself to new flavours. Every IPA/APA/STOUT connoiseur must visit this place! (The fries and crisps were delicous, too!) Loved every experience here

My new favourite Craft Beer Bar in Athens, delicious beer and food

We didn’t eat here but the beer selection and vibe can’t be topped. Both bartenders we had were excellent with recommendations. They got busy a few times, but service was always great. (In late August, they may be a touch late opening with their posted time due to holidays, but it’s well worth the wait.)

Fabulous selection of beers! Ee tried the Greek draught ones, they were ok, but not really impressive beers as you can have in the Baltics, Nordics etc. Nicr atmosphere, cool music, prices a bit high but acceptable.

Nice quirky cafe with a lot of greenery around. We enjoyed sitting outside and having breakfast, at the time wasn't that busy so there was a relaxed vibe around. Good breakfast, coffee and service.

The square has a nice view but the chairs were neither comfy nor clean. Food and drink options are limited, average tea was served form a ready bag with syrup instead of honey. Slightly overpriced for the products. Staff are polite but slow possibly due to large seating numbers outside.

Tropical vibe bar in the middle of Athens. Plenty of sitting outside too, under the trees with candle lights for an extra romantic mood. List of cocktails is small but everything we ordered were spot on. Friendly staff and good prices are on the plus side making it worth the visit.

The worst service ever ruined a very good salad and pizza. A server took our order and then stood by smoking a cigarette and ignoring people for 30 minutes after we were done. Then when I walked into the bar to pay, the person that took my money, a waitress, was nothing but attitude and practically threw my change at me. I'm not sure if it is because we are American, but you have to realize 48% of us hate Donald Trump's guts too and are against what Netanyahu is doing. Not worth the trouble stopping if you aren't local.

It's only ok if you want to sit in the lovely square and buy something bottled. Their coffee is terrible and so overpriced and food is frozen cheap supermarket stuff. Service super arrogant as well.

On a small square this is a really nice place to relax with a drink and in the evening there’s some good music giving a pleasant atmosphere. There’s so much seating available outside yet despite the number of people there the staff are really attentive and fast with the service. Prices are better than good value and it’s a great spot outside of the popular centre.

The food was good, but not out of the ordinary. The vibe of the place was super nice, definitely a good bar to go to for an afterwork, The seating was favourable to everyone whether coming for a drink or for food.

Besides the really nice environment, there were limited and expensive choices for food. Beers were not included in the menu which is not only strange but also not legal. Not a good option finally !

Nice bar for after office drinks and not only. Visited again on a Sunday for lunch. nice atmosphere. Food was good but nothing special. Salad was delicious. In general Quite pricey. The impressive was the price of sparkling water, 7 euro the water and 8 euro a dish with eggs… Anyway nice to have a coffee or a drink.

Our overall experience was very good. The welcoming staff was very helpful and friendly. Despite our being late on deciding on our order, our waitress kindly gave us more time to choose. However, one of our ordered dishes never arrived. We didn't ask for it, and were explained at the end that there was probably a mix-up in the kitchen, and our dish was taken to another table. The staff was very kind and apologetic about the incident. Obviously, things like that may happen, and in fact, they handled everything very nicely.

2 stars for the sympathic staff, for the rest it doesn't worth one star. The place is nice BUT it smells very bad cigarette. Despite it's an open space, it's possible to place smoking people in a corner ! 6 euros for 0.3 l, beer, it's more expensive that Kifisia. We were placed with view of the warehouse and the smells of garbage. The music is too much loud !!!

I come to Athens few times a year and every time I’m in town I have to go there for breakfast, brunch or lunch as I love their food. I have to say the menu has changed and I don’t like it or more I miss items used to be on the menu like the fried eggs with spicy sausage and sourdough bread (it’s not there anymore and I hope they will bring it back to the menu). I was disappointed when I didn’t have it today and I got to change for something I’d say I really didn’t enjoy much! I think I was the beast today!

Beauty Killed the Beast is an amazing place to enjoy a café or brunch with friends on a lazy morning. Nestled in a little and quite pedestrian street in a hip part of Athens, it provides a great experience. The foods and drinks were all delicious, some local specials were available too. Good value for money with great staff and vibe. Loved it and will be back for sure! Highly recommended.

We had a Saturday brunch at the outdoor sitting area. Nice neighborhood, cozy atmosphere and fast service. Brunch menu was relatively small but decent. We got a Caesar’s salad was very good and the scrambled eggs with pear which were a bit blunt. Cappuccino was decent. The space indoors was beautiful. If we visited again would rather be in an evening to try the cocktails.

The opening time was written on google as 10:00, we arrived at 10:15 and were told it doesnt open before 10:45. When we came back around 11:00 we were able to sit down and order. The food was fresh and very good and the service nice and quick. The street it is located in is very quiet so eating outside is more than enjoyable. I would totally recommend going there for brunch... but not too early!

Absolutely sensational! The creativity in the design, to include every little detail, and the artistic nature of the cafe and surrounding buildings set the stage for a great experience. And then the food surpassed it. The Waffles with Poached Eggs was probably one of the most delicious dishes I have ever eaten. I don’t know how they made those waffles, but damn. I was a little worried about ordering something sweet but they had perfect flavor and a bit of a crunch that harmonized with the mashed avocado and precisely poached eggs. The Pink Lemonade drink was cool, crisp and perfectly balanced for a summer day. I just landed in Athens and my trip is off to a flawless start. I don’t know how any other restaurants can top this brunch!

This hookah lounge impresses with its stylish, relaxed interior and chill background music. The selection of flavors is amazing: from classic options to exotic blends. The hookahs are well-prepared, and deliver thick, flavorful smoke. The guys knows what they are doing. Also, staff are very kind and speaks well english.

My boyfriend and I were staying in Athens for the night and love hookah so we decided to check this place out. It did not disappoint. The BEST service we have ever had. The place is beautiful and has a lovely rooftop to smoke and drink. The entire staff made us feel so welcomed and refilled coals, drinks, etc often. Prices are perfect. We would definitely come back here next time we are in Athens! Thank you!

I visited this shisha bar yesterday 16.7.2025. I was pleasantly surprised by the location and the price for the services. We were very satisfied with the active service, which created a pleasant experience, complementing the beautiful view of Athens from the roof of the house.

This place was perfect. The Hookah was amazing. The view of the Acropolis was spectacular. The pricing was reasonable. And our server, Yannis, was great. Thank you so much for making our last night in Athens memorable.

I've tried several hookah lounges in Athens and with no doubt this was the best. Nice atmosphere, Good hookah and reasonable price. It's not wheelchair accessible, Parking available in a nearby parking.

It is a literally a hookah world:) I never saw so many hookahs at once! And it is so affordable that each person can take their own, so not to wait your turn. Even if the place will be fully occupied, still each person will have one, as I assume. Amazing experience. The puff is not huge, but lasts for a long time. Generally recommend!

I wanted to smoke Shisha while i was i Athens, where i did find this place after some research online. It is near Kerameikos St. Nice place with a rooftop (unfortunetly the rooptop does not give a view of Acropolis). The service was fast and good, but not many customers that night. The price is really good, i think it is one of my cheapest Shisha i did buy. The taste of my apple Shisha was not bad neither really good, i have smoked better. If the shisha was little better i would have given one more star.

Athens has a lot of good bars and this is definitely one of it! We came to this place twice, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening, the service was amazing! We tried some sprit, the cream, margarita and one more drink as well as the sando chicken sandwich. We loved everything! Definitely recommend

While looking at the map of the area, I found this place that showed up as top 100 bars in the world so we decided to visit. We only had drinks outside since the weather was really nice. Both of us ordered from the special suggestions menu and both of us were thoroughly impressed by our drinks. While they were more expensive than other places you can probably find nearby, they also were special enough to warrant the price and they did not break the bank either. Cool place with great service and the inside looks really nice with an out of this world decor. Definitely worth a visit!!

Came here and sat outside with family. Good service, great cocktails. The banana horchata cocktail was surprisingly good. They whipped up a passion fruit mocktail that wasn’t on the menu but was great. There’s an indoor and outdoor area. Clean bathroom upstairs. €10-15 for a cocktail.

Our waitress was the best! The drinks were delicious, we tried like 11 different ones. Her scent was my favorite.

My wife and I stopped here for a quick drink on passing. It is in a great location on the corner offering plenty of seating, which is needed as it is a very popular place. My wife ordered a coffee and I ordered a beer. The coffee was served with a biscuit and my beer was served with a small bowl of fries and mini meatballs in red sauce. This was the 1st time I've had that with a beer. It's usually just crisps if anything. Nice touch. The music was funky chillout at a good volume. Not too loud and you could still have a conversation unlike some other places. As it's near the university it has a student vibe and is shabby chic. The staff were accommodating and polite and I will definitely be returning in the future

We had a first line outside table and view at Acropolis is stunning. Food was great , drinks are more expensive but you are really paying for the view which worth every penny. Our server was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable , same about the host. Definitely worth going here after sunset.

The view is nice but that’s about it. If they don’t have free tables with a good view, do not stay. Not worth it. Overpriced, subpar food which does not match neither its price tag nor the expectations for a seemingly “fancy” restaurant. Pro tip: do not get the fries there under any circumstances for they are saltier than the Mediterranean Sea.

First, Aperol Spritz was like 2/5. Second, our food was already cold (like room temperature). We had Pork Kontosouvli. Vegetables and bread was nice. Meat and fries were okay. However, the view was great.

I challenge anyone to find a better spot to enjoy a pint of Mythos than Thissio View. You’ve got Thissio Park below, the Parthenon watching over you, and that golden Greek light setting the scene. Absolutely stunning - the kind of view that makes every sip taste better!

Stunning view on the Akropolis! I had the lemon tart with ice cream which was rather disappointing. The tart itself was supermarket quality. It was filled with custard cream without a taste of lemon. The ice cream was mediocre. Forest fruit from the freezer. Pricey (14€) for what it is.

Only thing that’s worth it about this place is the view. We had read reviews online about how the food wasn’t the best, but decided to still take a chance because apparently the restaurant offers a very good view of the acropolis. It does, but I don’t know if that view makes up for the food. I had a mojito, which tasted like sugar and rhum, while my boyfriend had a pink spritz; in my opinion was disgusting and way too sugary, but he liked it. We decided to split a few entrees; the Greek salad was the least offensive thing we ordered, but not great by any standards. Tzatziki was okay, hummus was terrible and we also had an eggplant spread which was meh. The parmesan fries were ridiculous; normal fries with an absurd amount of sliced Parmesan on top. The cheese balls with mango mayo were absolutely terrible. The service was lacking, and our server was unpleasant. It took over one hour for us to get our food, the restaurant was somewhat busy but still no excuse for having to wait such a long time for a few entrees. We also got our food immediately after letting the waiter know we had been waiting for such a long time, which lets us think the food had been ready for a while and he just forgot to bring it to us. The prices were also quite high for the type of food you get; expected since it’s a tourist spot, but still insulting to pay so much for such bad food (total was 71 € for everything). The server also asked us if it was possible to pay in cash, which my boyfriend and I both found kind of strange. Overall, the only selling point of this restaurant is the view. I do not reccomend.

This bar specialized in mix drinks and assorted beer. The mix drinks were about 10 euros, but not watered down. You could actually taste the alcohol. This bar was a bit away from the tourist area, but loved by the locals. A happening spot on a Wednesday night. Loved it!!

Whilst staying in Athens, I was lucky to have this bar downstairs from my Airbnb. It’s always pumping with a crowd and an electric energy. In the evening, it sprawls across the street and lights up. Friendly service, great drink selection and complimentary popcorn - lovely

Love the design of this bar and its large rooftop. Don’t expect sweeping views though — you’ll just see the street. Still, it’s a nice place to sit and relax. We booked for 7pm, but the kitchen had a hiccup so we couldn’t eat. They messaged ahead on WhatsApp though, which I really appreciated. The staff were super friendly. The cocktail I had was solid but small & pricey (~€15). They also have plenty of non-alcoholic options, which is great. Overall giving 5 (more like 4.5) stars because of the good vibes.

We had such a fantastic time at Boo! Athens. The food was absolutely exceptional, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had anywhere in the city. Dimitri and the team went above and beyond to make us feel right at home – their hospitality was warm, attentive, and genuinely personable, which really elevated the whole experience. On top of that, the interior and design are simply stunning. Boo! has such a cool, stylish vibe that instantly transported us – it felt like a little slice of Mykonos in the heart of Athens. An unforgettable evening all around – can’t wait to come back!

Really cool bar/sushi restaurant. Restaurant turns into kind of a club vibe around 10/11 pm with a DJ, smoke machines, and fire spinners! Really great service. Try the love vortex cocktail it’s sooo good! I got the boo roll with beef on top and it was so good. The shrimp tempura was one of the best tempuras I’ve had and the springs rolls were amazing!

Went here for my first day in Greece and honestly it was such a fun experience. The vibe and staff are fantastic and I love the playlist they played. Loved the food as well. Even thought I came in at 10pm they served me a delicious meal with an even delicious cocktail 🍸

Beautiful place with an island vibe in the middle of Athens. You can seat on the beautifully decorated rooftop for a more chill vibe or join the party on the ground floor that takes place usually on Fridays and Saturdays. Very helpful and friendly staff too. Highly recommended!

Popped along for some pre-dinner/early evening drinks. Loved the rooftop with it's boho island vibes. Staff were friendly and welcoming and service was excellent. The cocktails are creative and on the pricier side but you definitely get what you pay for - they're top notch. If you want cool, beach bar vibes in the middle of the city, this is it!

Cool place and decor but the service is poor. Not being local seemed to be a hassle which is disappointing as the place has a really good vibe and loved the neon on the roof. Cocktails are their specialty and the menu is certainly unique. Great tasting cocktails and awesome decor - they just need a little improvement on the service.

Another quirky Greek bar with a unique design. The cocktails were very good as was their own “Bank Job” beer.

If you are not greek, they ll lie to you to have drinks outside and let only locals enter. Poor mentality for a club in a city like this. Still funny to see a place playing black music but not letting brown/black people enter...

Western music. Good cocktails. Crowded. Quite touristy. You have to wait and try to squeeze into the bar if you are here on a weekend. So try to come early in order to grab a table. Outside standing area is also nice as it is more airy than inside.

I think i was not lucky enough on thursday night. Though i specially came not at weekend to be able to sit and talk and enjoy. Ola kala as Greek say - the music, the interior, the guys behind the bar, the choice of drinks. But... Here is my humble "but" - no enthusiasm... the barman was soooo bored he didnt even 'rinse' my drink so there were ice and sth else + the drink took the smell of a metal shaker for some reason, so I couldnt finish it. Ps: this is a review mostly of a visit, i'm sure if i were local and could give more tries to this place i wd discover all the advantages. But just wanted to share this to be careful with expectation;))

I visited the Bank Job, after a late dinner. I was there around 12:30am and the place had very few people. After a while the place was packed, so it is an after bar. They have a good variety of drinks and at the time of my visit the music was 80's and 90's disco style, so many people felt like dancing, which I liked. The atmosphere is not something special, but the music brings this place to life.

This bar is located in the very heart of Athens. Good atmosphere and great music. Service is friendly and quick. Perhaps one of the top choices for a great Saturday night out.
