Most of the food was good. However, the presentation and service were very poor. They didn't change the plates or remove the forks at all; by the end, I had about 8 forks and spoons piled up on the table. Four different waiters served the table, and in the end, they insisted on a 20% tip, which would have amounted to €24 of the bill. So, you end up feeling awkward choosing a 0% tip, even though it's not mandatory. I can say that crab dish and bread were especially good, but overall nothing exceptional.

I went to this restaurant after a long day, without a reservation. They offered me a seat at the bar and recommended a couple of dishes. The menu was small, with interesting fusion style options. It’s a small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food came quickly and was excellent. The flavors worked really well together and I really enjoyed both dishes. Definitely a place I would recommend. Great food, friendly service and reasonably priced.

I had a beautiful lunch experience at Nolan. Everyone is smiley and with a nice and well educated manners also willing to explain something about the restaurant. I enjoyed the good vibes, young chill and cool which are also reflected in the beautiful and very careful but unexpected and interesting combination of ingredients. It really worths a try. ❣️

It was a great experience all around. The concept of sharing food with a Greek/Asian fusian is great. Every round of food was incredible, and the recommendations the staff gave were on point. An amazing dinner I could recommend everybody!

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Nolan. The dishes are medium size tapas style and the quality was excellent. We tried the Green Beans Salad, the kushiyaki sea bass, cod tempura, angus beef and duck. Every dish was tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Good dishes: Tempura cod, bread So-so to bad: inside skirt is too salty, chicken thigh is nothing special, pilmeni is just like Asian dumplings with some fancy topping. Service is absolutely not Michelin standard- Not attentive to refill water, pace for dishes are very odd. First three came out fast, last two were very slow. Atmosphere is good but I probably will not recommend to any of my friends who visits Athens.

Very nice place, on the higher end, with small plates. Nice service and atmosphere. Food was very good , definitely recommend the sea bream tartare. However the cod with the wasabi mayo was a bit salty, and the smashed cucumber salad more sour than we would like. Overall very good, but a bit too expensive for the food offered.

The food was exceptional (very tasty, huge portions, good price). The service was alright, but the star of the show was really the food. Not that many place to sit, so it’s very possible there could be a long waiting time.

Tuk Tuk Thai Food in Athens is a little gem if you’re craving authentic Thai flavors. The menu isn’t huge, but every dish feels carefully made, bursting with spice and freshness. The pad thai and curry are standouts, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. The vibe is casual and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends. It can get busy, so expect a bit of a wait, but the food is worth it. Overall, a great spot for a tasty, no-frills Thai food experience in the heart of the city.

First time trying the place and absolutely loved it ! Parked infront there were lot of people in the street waiting for tables - went today Tuesday 9/9 10 pm place is small and packed and ppl queuing up for tables and take away … waited for 30 mins or so for a table and was worth it ! Love the vibes and decor and open kitchen, everything cooked fresh … Tried the shrimp dumplings so good - red duck curry was pretty tasty - the drunken noodles with pork and that tasted so good love the ginger and spice … if you love spicy food some of the menu items are very spice satisfying ! Waiters were fun quick and pretty friendly ( the older guy with glasses , the short girl n short hair, & the tall Greek guy with tattoos and long hair ) all lovely ! Another spot added to my fav in Athens 🔥👌

They make almost everything in the menu plant-based. Definetely great vegan options, papaya salat was stunning, best noodles I've ever had, amazing atmosphere, great location, good service, fair prices - loved it.

After 8 days of eating pita’s and slovaki my palette was yearning for something new. In Corfu we dipped into an Asian place but the curry was awful. So on my last day in Athens I prayed this place lived up to my curry standards. First the place is cute. The music is fire up in there too. I saw a couple asians cooking and thought ok it has to be authentic. Well I ordered the massaman curry and it was SO GOOD! I felt like I was eating Thai back home in Chicago where Thai restaurants come a dime a dozen. We also ordered the chicken dish and the chicken was so soft and it came with sticky rice (pictured). This place hands down is authentic and that is the key when you are eating Thai. People can mess up Thai curry but this place the curry is exactly as it should be. I would recommend this place over and over and over again. Do not hesitate or think about just b line straight there and you won’t be disappointed, but you might have to wait it’s not very big but to me it’s perfect as it is!

Much needed Asian reset after eating Greek for the past couple weeks! Beautiful interior, great food, tasted very authentic. Would come here again if I came to Athens. In the evening, it is very lively! Got the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, and Tom Yum Goong

The flavors were spectacular (lovers of that cuisine here).. We ordered: Tom Ka Khai chicken soup - Kio Dot Won Ton fried pork dumplings- Pad Thai chicken- Pad Ped Naman Hoi Stir Fry duck & 2 beers Blame the sun. The soup was out of this world, we ate every little piece of it, the dumplings were tasty with the perfect crispness, pad thai was okay and the duck super flavory and generally all the portions were big enough. The space is far too small for so many people, with even smaller tables, making it difficult to eat peacefully with no stress. We had all those things on the table and we had to eat quickly so that we will have space for the rest coming. Plus having the fear that the waiters passing quickly next to us, will spill our food or drinks. Have in mind that they don't accept reservations, so be prepared for waiting list. Service was kind and food quickly prepared. Overall was a nice experience.

What a night! Great music, great food, great service, and if that weren't enough, great cocktails. I know there are many different restaurants and bars in Athens, but there's no other place where they all come together in one place.

What an evening! We were greeted by vinyl soul music and lovely hosts. We enjoyed our evening at the bar in front of the busy grill. Perfectly executed food: we had a wide range of japanese skewers, fresh appetizers and nice cocktails and draught beer. Everything was exeptional. Service was lovely as well and always there, when we wanted to order. Perfect in every way! It gets really busy, so plan ahead and book a reservation! Definitely one of our highlights on our trip!

I’ve been to Birdman twice 6 months apart and each one was a true culinary experience. A friend had originally recommended this spot and after our first time, we could not wait to get back to Athens and visit this restaurant once again. Their version of fusion foods are exceptionally prepared and truly delicious. This time we invited our friends and we could not have enough of anything we tasted. We will surely be coming here the next time we visit Athens.

One of the very best spots in Athens. The atmosphere, the people, the music, and the service are outstanding. The food is out of this world: yakitori, nigiri, katsu sando, tataki, tartar, and gyoza are perfection. Cocktails and sake are excellent, and the vibe is always great with top DJs. I come to Athens frequently, and this is the place I never miss. A true must-visit in the city. As a wine lover, my only wish would be for a larger wine list, since everything else is so thoughtfully curated. Special mention to Vasya, who is simply amazing—her warm welcome, professionalism, and ability to organize everything flawlessly make every visit exceptional. Eftechia, with her passion for wine, and Chris at the bar, with his energy and talent, also deserve recognition. And truly, the whole team makes Birdman such an organic, welcoming place where service and hospitality shine every time.

Overcooked & over seasoned. I love yakitori and generally go the best one in whatever city I’m in. The reviews for Birdman, are so good, I was excited to try them out, but It fell well below the hype. The sticks, instead of coming out one by one, came at the same time. So you can’t eat them hot and fresh. The meat was universally really overcooked and stacked in sauces. So instead of complimenting the chicken, it overwhelmed. With so much great grilled meat in the city, it’s a real shame.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Everything was freshly made and authentic. We particularly liked the Bun Cha and the Caramel Pork with Pineapple but the other dishes were awesome as well. Definitely worthy of being ranked as one of the top 100 hidden gems of Athens. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. All in all, a fantastic Vietnamese dining experience in a city you’d least expect it! Check it out!

Truly delicious authentic Vietnamese food, in a very nice place in the centre of Athens! The menu was really great, many daily dishes to choose from and the staff was really friendly. Overall I would really recommend it, great place!

As a Vietnamese, i dont see the point of trying Vietnamese food outside Vietnam, since I know that it’s not comparable! But this time in Athens was an exception. The design and decoration is very detail, giving a real vibe of Vietnam. The service was good. The food has the authentic taste. The restaurant’s location in Athens, somehow really replicate that feeling when you’re in the central district of Saigon! In conclusion, my recommendation for an alternative dishes with all the souvlaki, saganaki or moussakas

Tasty Vietnamese food in the heart of Athens. Unfortunately the cleanliness could certainly be improved. Menus were grimey and staff were coughing into their hands (not ideal given the current climate!). The atmosphere was great.

Response to owner: Dear team, let me start by thanking you for your reply. I never doubted the chef’s experience but please do not doubt what I saw. I am 100% certain that the noodles were treated with bare hands. Either way, I just wanted to bring this up to your attention! We visited the restaurant on September 3rd, 2022, a party of two people. We tried: 1) Summer rolls: Nice plate coming with a delicious sauce 2) Pho beef: Very fragrant and tasty 3) Duck curry: Also a tasty dish 4) Pork caramel: Tasty but too fatty for my taste I am deducting two stars because I saw the cook in the kitchen (not the owner) to grab the noodles with his bare hand and add them into the Pho. In my opinion and in Covid times this is simply not acceptable and management should look into this.

Madame Phú Man Chú offers one of the most original Vietnamese cuisine tastes I have experienced in Greece. Since the cook is a Vietnamese woman, she has transformed a small restaurant in the middle of Athens into an unparallel Vietnamese experience. The only "issue" pointed out to me, which is only a culinary preference though, was the extensive cilantro use (which is common to all southern Asia cuisines). Overall it's a uniquely original Vietnamese restaurant.

Nice Vietnamese restaurant with tasty food. Glass noodles and chicken skewers were a delight. Fried rice was tasty but had a lot of thickly chopped coriander. Summer rolls were disappointing. Service was ok, atmosphere was nice, the music was kind weird (jumping from greek to asian to michael jackson all at a time). Food prices are good, Should have more and better wine and beer options.

After 10days in Greece, I was tired of olive oil, grilled meats, tomatoes and cheese. Very happy to come across this restaurant on our last day in Athens. The food served were authentic to certain regions of China though not necessarily to what you expect from a dim sum eatery, i.e., not Cantonese. Good flavor and tasty Chinese dishes for dinner.

Eating at East Pearl was an amazing experience. My wife and I woke up and we were craving Chinese food. We performed a search in Athens and East Pearl had some great reviews. We decided to check it out and it did not disappoint. Joel was an amazing server. He was attentive and quick to respond to all of our needs. The food was phenomenal. We enjoy spicy food so we ordered the Sichuan Beef (Spicy). It was flavorful and had a nice kick. The pork dumplings were delicious. The Thai Shrimp was rich and hearty. And the Hot & Sour Soup was great as well. Great meal and service. We would definitely return!

Found this restaurant by accident and boy were we thrilled! Greeted by the most friendly and attentive host , food was authentic and very tasty. The place is small but very clean. Food arrived quickly, a perfectly chilled beer was an added bonus. Must eat here if you’re in Athens.

Had a delicious meal in here for our last night in Athens. Food was so good! Quick friendly service and really reasonably priced. We actually thought they could charge a lot more for what we had! Highly recommend the dumplings!

One of the most authentic tasting Chinese restaurants I have ever had outside of China. The spices and oils that they use for their cooking tastes the most similar to what you’d find in Beijing. Incredible food, attentive and warm service and everything was fairly priced with massive portions. The mapo tofu was stellar, perfectly salty, spicy and mouth numbing and the fried eggplant was insane. I’ve never had a sauce that delicious and addictive before. We also had the 酸菜鱼 (pickled vegetables fish soup) which was incredibly hearty and refreshing, and the fish used was so fresh, soft and not overcooked at all! A lovely spot if you’ve been missing Chinese food while away on your European adventure!

I really loved this place and im not even vegan! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, its our second time here and it never disappointed us. The gourmet salad is simply out of this world. Highly recommended.

We visited this place twice during our trip in Athens. The first time we got the carbonara and the club sandwich. The carbonara was nice, but the club sandwich was just okay. It didn’t seem so fresh. However, the second time we were AMAZED. It’s as if there was a new cook or chef in the house. The club sandwich looked nothing like the first time. It was DELICIOUS, a much bigger portion and seemed so fresh and warm compared to the first time. The pastitsio was also incredibly delicious!! And portions were BEYOND generous the second time. I also tried their praline and it was yummy! Overall it’s definitely worth a visit, and I’m glad we gave it a second chance. Definitely one of the best vegan spots in athens. What makes this place unique is that there’s seems to be a lot of thought in the meal composition: organic tofu, organic soy mince and gluten free pasta. This is very rare in the vegan food industry, but very important because vegans need to get enough protein from high quality foods without compromising taste and pleasure.

The Vegan food is fantastic and the staff are very helpful. It’s a lovely environment as well with good space and only the sound of people enjoying themselves. Decaf coffee and of course a variety of non-dairy milk options. My first food stop when I’m in Athens.

Was blown away to have a full GF/Vegan menu (and for each item to be so handfully crafted and tasty). Highly recommend not only for those with dietary restrictions, but anyone looking for a wonderful meal!

We went here for a delicious smoothie! I had the white smoothie and my wife had the yellow smoothie. The white smoothie was nice and creamy due to the cashews. My wife’s smoothie was slightly less sweet, but still tasty. €7.50 is quite pricey for a smoothie, but it was delicious. The food options on the menu look great as well. There are lots of places to sit inside or outside.

I’ve gone to Veganaki twice so far on my visit to Athens and it’s been amazing both times. Prices are amazing for the fresh, delicious, and healthy food you are getting. One morning I ordered a small portion of their avocado salad and also their breakfast omelet. The vegan “feta” that came on the side of the omelet was so good. For dinner i ordered their salad that had fig, feta, and mushrooms definitely one of my favorite things i had as well as the souvlaki wrap with tempeh and I ordered side of the fava beans.

Server was very friendly and attentive. There’s a great range of choices here for vegans. If I had the chance I would’ve revisited to work through more of the menu. Food is on the pricier side in my experience, but I’m happy to spend a bit more to support an all vegan business.

Great tasty food, and very generous portions. First time eating here, so did not know the size of each meal. Ordered too much, but still managed to finish our order. Staff were very helpful, and English language menu available on request. Tacos were fantastic. Prices were very reasonable. Will be back again.

Amazing food! I had their quesadilla, and it was great! The service was also outstanding, one of the owners, Alex was extremely attentive and kind. Good tasting food but I really don't think the prices are justified... Similar street food restaurants have larger portions for a lower price and I don't see a reason to pay extra in this place. It'd be fine if the food was phenomenal but it's on par with others I've been to. Great place for easy casual street mex type food. Really tasty nachos, tacos and chilli con carne. Really good ice cold margaritas & fresh orange juice. Waiter was really friendly with us. Recommend if you want an easy dinner or lunch

Great street food at Central Athens We got "Chimichanga De pollo" which is actually a toasted tortilla with chicken etc and a tasty melted cheese. Good Value for money The sauce of "guacamole chips" was also very good Good alternative from souvlaki if you're looking for some good street food.

Amazing Mexican food, vegan and vegetarian options. The service was extremely welcoming. I highly recommend the vegetarian burrito and the tacos, and frozen margaritas that are served with great cheddar nachos. .

I just took my last bite and had to rush to review this excellent eatery while flavors linger in my mouth. Peas has by far the best gyro I’ve had in Athens. The pita bread was substantial with a soft texture, tasted incredibly fresh. The seitan chunks were delicious as well, and I LOVED the potato wedges they added inside. I also asked for red spicy sauce on the side and it was the perfect kick of flavor to balance the creamy yogurt sauce. I’m so very glad I stopped here on a whim! The price can’t be beat (5.50 💶 for a giant pita) and the owners were so friendly. I met some expats in there as well and had a lovely conversation. I can see why this place attracts great people—their food is top notch, made to order, and oozing with love. Don’t miss it!

The desserts were another highlight—beautifully prepared and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating to our group, making sure everyone was happy. The portions were more than generous, and everything felt super fresh and thoughtfully made. Absolutely incredible fresh high quality ingredients served up at very reasonable prices by people who take so much pride in their vegan creations. STAFF: Very helpful, efficient, kind and attentive to detail. Good ingredients served fresh, meticulously served up and carefully plated up for us. All food arrived very quickly, despite a number of people having ordered. FOOD: Absolutely delicious. I've had zucchini pasta and vegan cakes at loads of places and this is without doubt my absolute favourite. Only wish I'd found this earlier. Will definitely be back. INTERIOR: Modern, minimalist fresh clean interior with gorgeous plants on the tables and hanging from the ceiling. OVERALL: Highly recommend and it's very affordable.

The best vegan restaurant in Athens. The place was full of positive energy. The good thing aout it that they do not use onion and garlic in any of their food so very satvik food. It is the best for Swaminarayan and Jain devotees. They were so polite on the phone when we made inquiry and when we visited they served us very friendly. The food was so delicious that we could not forget the taste. I wish they have branch in London. We wanted to visit again but it was our last day in Athens but I strongly recommend PEAS for the best quality vegan food and detox juice.

A fully vegan restaurant that serve lots of options for vegan greek food. From their menu we took the Buddha ball with seitan, the mushroom burger and the seitan warp. From the 3 dishes the mushroom burger was our favorite, the soft mushroom burger was delicious although it kinda fall apart as you hold it, the bun was soft and came with lettuce and tomato (only thing would improve it if there were pickles inside), the next dish we like was the Buddha ball with quinoa and veggies that were well seasoned and the salad dressing was tasty, the seitan unfortunately felt a bit dry and under season and really need some dipping sauce on the side or above it. The last dish we tried was the gyros, it came in a warp fulled with seitan and tomato. The bread was soft but the dish felt really boring and missed some verity of veggies like onion, lettuce, etc to spice it up and give some taste to the seitan. The restaurant itself is cozy, with nice swing chair and self service stand for water & cutlery and the service was nice and quick.

Avocado is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian and vegan food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is full of creative, flavorful dishes — but the real standout for me was the burger. Incredibly tasty, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying! Highly recommended for both plant-based eaters and curious foodies.

The experience worthwhile, the food was oosum! We ordered 2 fresh smoothies - açaí berry blast, coconut cream and 1 fresh juice - apple lemonade along with Poke bowl, Greek Salad, Protein Burger & Avocado Burger 🍔 It was totally yummy & filling. Decided to have something a little healthier and our host recommended Avocado. Vegan food can sound unappealing, but this place knows how to add flavour and texture to make really great meals. We had the poke bowl and the macro plate yum! We had water, but decided to be adventurous (for us) and try the Pimento spicy ginger drink - very refreshing.

Really lovely place! Fantastic gluten free options and choices. Really great food, lovely service and overall just a brilliant place to eat. I recommend especially for those who are veggie / gluten free / like to eat real good organic food! There’s a great wee organic store next door too!

We are here twice during our time in Athens. A cozy little place, close to our hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and although it was a little overpriced, it was worth it for the vegan food!! We had the spicy tofu, pumpkin soup, Om Shanti bowl and then we tried the key lime pie one time as well. Simply delicious! Highly recommended-

Best Bao buns as a street food in Athens. Very reasonably priced, excellent combinations in ingredients to get unique tastes in every bao bun. Will definitely visit again. The seating is outside on high tables and high chairs.

Interesting food to try but not for hungry people. Service was quite slow. I realize that it's niche food, but the shrimp bun needs more than a single shrimp.

Buns were light and moist, as they were supposed to be. I had the fried chicken and the spicy beef and they were equally tasty. Service was quick and prices were reasonable.

We went there for a snack. Ended up eating more than just a snack as the bao buns are simply delicious. There are different and special tastes (i.e. crispy chicken + peanut butter or ones with duck, or tiger prawns). The churros come in different tastes and you can choose between milk chocolate, salted caramel and honey as sauces. Also very tasty. Perfect for a spontaneous hunger attack!

What a discovery; bao buns and churros in the middle of Chalandri Athens. The bao buns are incredibly delicious and the churros are to die for, so crispy and scrumptious.

Tasteful and healthy cooked all varieties are just not enough! Loved the tempura as it is crispy and delicious. As for the Churros, no comments are enough. We always take a portion away. So enjoyable!

We chose this place to try noodles due to the good reviews. I have to admit that the food was not something extraordinary, actually kinda basic. The noodles were OK, the rolls had a strange taste, the potatoes were good enough and the chicken bao bun was just fine. When it comes to the service, some employees were not that friendly and kind.

If you fancy some noodle in the heart of Athens, this place has a variety of dishes, including sushi. Sushi was very nice, Pad Thai was good and everything else was tasty as well. The service was good, toilets clean and stocked. Only negative, the service took long time, it was busy but we had to wait for over half an hour to get the main. I recently tried this noodle spot, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The service was fine—nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. I was mainly there for the noodles, but unfortunately, they were a letdown. They tasted pretty average, like something you could easily throw together at home. Definitely not what I was hoping for. That said, the sushi completely surprised me—in the best way. Super fresh, well-prepared, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. It kind of stole the show. Also, a small but appreciated touch: they gave us free cold water without having to ask. Little things like that do make a difference. If you’re going, maybe skip the noodles and just load up on sushi.

Fast food Asian restaurant to satisfy a quick hunger while shopping in Athens. Longing for Chinese food after 1.5 weeks of Greek restaurants. Had dumplings & Singapore noodles 🍜. Meh.

Very cute trendy place in Athens, but the food was horrendous! I was craving some noodles and saw all the good reviews on google. I ordered the pad thai and miso soup. They were both drowned in this dark brown sauce that had a strong fish flavor and extremely salty. Came here for the high reviews, but now I think those people have not had authentic Asian fusion cuisines. If you scroll down more in the review section, you’ll see the honest reviews. Sorry forgot to take pictures. Took two bites/sips of my food and left. Not worth it. The server knew it too, since he never checked in or ask how things tastes. Greece Asian food is not it.

Very small noodles and rice joint, sushi and same Thai food you can try there, it looks to me Indian or Bangladesh chief work in there. Waiter asian lady very friendly. Food was okay, I m not give super good for that.just basic quilts. That why 3 . They serve very quickly not waiting so long time.

The restaurant sits next to a Vietnamese spot. The seating is outside only but you can order take away as well. The mushroom gyro doesn't compromise the authentic Greek flavors although they use vegetables it's flavorful and cooked well. The slaw gives it nice texture and I also had the cauliflower so I added some of those pieces to my wrap ! Great add should be on the menu. 🤌🏽 We also tried the kombucha and lemonade both were well balanced if you like those sorts of drinks we really enjoyed them!. The atmosphere is great minus being off a busy road but you get used to it. Dessert looked amazing I'll be back tomorrow to try! Hospitality was great and welcoming! I'll always visit when in Athens!

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Vegan Beat. The young girl serving us was quick to serve us. We especially the cauliflower burger in the pretzel bun. We have never had a pretzel bun before, and it was delicious, so fresh!! The mushroom gyros was tasty as well. Although, it wasn’t the best vegan gyros I had in Athens. There was slightly too much salad compared to mushroom filling in my opinion. We will definitely be back when visiting Athens.

The food at Vegan Beat Athens is epic and, as a plus, seems to actually contain a good amount of protein. I tried the "Meatballs", the Epic Moussaka and the delicious and very decadent Snickers cake. Highly recommend! Good job, Vegan Beat! Please prosper and expand all over the world 🖖

Amazing food and very friendly staff! I ordered the meatballs (comes with tzatziki and salad) and the pastitsio (comes with salad). Both big portions and I’d would highly recommend! One dish is enough for one person. The server was very sweet and so welcoming. Service was also very fast — the food came really quick. Definitely check it out!

A MUST visit!! We visited this place twice and we shared various options! Delicious pastitsio, soy mince patties, tsimitsuri burger, AND musakas. Delicious yummy sauces, very generous portions and such friendly staff. my favorite was the soy mince patties, high protein and so delicious! Definitely one of the best vegan spots in Athens. Away from the big crowds as well so not so much noise. 🥰🌱

i’ve been in this place with my family and we loved it. there aren’t many options in terms of grilled meat and fish, but food is very tasty, the waiters are super nice and the atmosphere will make you feel like home. you’ll find plenty of traditional dishes for all tastes. highly recommended

This restaurant is cozy and serves excellent traditional Greek food — a true little gem! The portions are generous; I had the Clay Pot Baked Moussaka (they also have a vegetarian option, but I went for the classic one) and it was absolutely delicious, definitely worth trying. The Greek salad was also excellent, and for just €0.40 they served warm, delicious pita! The wine we ordered was also excellent. To finish, they offered us some ice cream — the perfect way to end the meal ❤️.

Wish we had found this place sooner during our stay at Athens. Very nice place. Lots of (vegan) dishes to choose from. We had a pizza, a bowl and a sandwich and tried some of the juices and smoothies. Everything freshly made. Delicious.

We were deciding where to have breakfast this morning so I decided to have something light and look for some place to have an ACAI Bowl. I was very lucky to have a place so close. Happy blender was a hop, skip and jump away. I chose the ACAI energy bowl with the addition of Blueberries and peanut butter sauce for more protein. The Mrs bought the ACAI Island bowl. We both loved our bowls. We had a good chat to the owners of the shop to talk about the difference of the acai bowls from here and back home in Australia. Were so used to having more frozen acai compared to the fresh made from here. I loved it. I normally have 1 or 2 soft serve acai a week back home. I will most likely visit again tonight before they close to have a last one in Greece. Great service from the owners and we had a good laugh while I was showing her the photos of the acai bowls back home. A def must visit to this place. Try something new... I also ordered the mixed juice called Pink lemonade with Lemon, Apple and Strawberry. It tasted very nice as well.

We visited twice during our stay, and the food was absolutely delicious! We haven’t found açaí bowls this good since leaving Australia. The café is family-friendly, and the staff were so lovely— they even remembered us from our first visit. The space itself is bright and vibrant, filled with beautiful artwork that adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend trying their food!

Beautiful experience at Happy Blender. The service was amazing, we arrived with big suitcases and they were so kind and accomodating. The food was delicious, the Greek pizza was standout. The pancakes were also delicious! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. Great atmosphere and great vibes all round!

The food is just amazing and full of surprises. It’s not the ordinary type you can get anywhere in Greece, it comes with some unexpected taste and unexpectedly amazing! We ordered the grilled sardines, the veggie sauce for the fish is amazing, sweet and sour with tons of freshness, perfect combination with the sardines! We did not get the tables in the lovely courtyard, but sitting indoor is equally nice in hot summer.

Beautiful garden setting – make sure to reserve! This restaurant has a stunning garden atmosphere, but be sure to make a reservation if you’d like to sit there — it fills up fast. We were seated in the back area, which was comfortable, but the garden is definitely the highlight. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Kavourma with hummus, roasted eggplant with feta, and chicken risotto — all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The highlight, though, was the cheesecake with lime and almond crumble. It was the smoothest, most delicious cheesecake I’ve had in Greece. Highly recommend!

The BEST Greek salad I have ever tried in my life. So good we had to order another one. We enjoyed all the other options including the roasted aubragine that tasted heavenly, the courgettes fried balls and the rhum braised pork. With two beers 56 euros. Honest price, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, loved it.

Me and my boyfriend walken in without reservation. We had to wait for a bit to br seated but was it worth it! The atmosphere is really nice and the servers kept an eye on you and made sure to ask if you needed anything. There is a good choice of food. The dishes are good portions and taste amazing. I was sad that I did not have the time to come back again for another dinner. If you ever visit Athens, go here!

Nice restaurant , fine dining, calm exterior area with cozy atmosphere. We tried several plates all of them made with interesting approaches and qood ingredients. For the level of the prices vs overall taste experience I am not 100 % if it is truly value for money.

The female sommelier lady provides an excellent service, perhaps even too good for this place, she certainly knows how to be attentive and constantly keeps an eye on all the tables. Perfection and it really made us appreciated this evening. We have tried the degustation menu & it is a bit of hit and miss - some of the dishes were delicious (cheeks, fish, desserts, amuse bouche) and some were either plain (cauliflower, lamb) or burnt (the poor octopus was rather inedible). 🤷‍♀️ The price for the degustation menu is only 80 euros and you get extra amuse bouche and also one pre-desert. Wine pairing was around 50€, thus price point is pretty low and therefore we don’t mind we didn’t really like some of the dishes. They also are pretty good in adjusting the dishes, in case you have a gluten allergy.

There’s much to enjoy about Simul. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is enjoyable. However, as a restaurant, the main question is about the food. And, unfortunately, I found the food a disappointment. Of the 6 savoury dishes featured in the tasty menu, 3 leaned acidic, if not vinegary. Not inedible, just not balanced. Further, the squid and cod dishes were slightly overcooked. Not what I expect from a restaurant with this high of reputation, rating, and price. The beef course was the most classic tasting, balanced, and strongest of the savoury dishes. The desserts were a very redeemable end. Not a bad meal, just not worth the cost in my opinion. Perhaps the a la carte is the way to go.

Had a super nice family lunch here. We decided sharing a la carte plates, dishes greatly presented. Tastes and mouth feel of the plates very good. Wines we tried were great. Attentive service what made a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Another hidden gem in the city of Athens which merges Greek tradition with modern techniques. We selected the 8 course menu and it was a great experience. Every course followed a sequence which made total sense. Probably traxanas was our highlight dish of the dining.

We dined there as a couple and enjoyed the brilliant tasting menu. Every course was delicious, imaginative, perfectly sized and outstanding. And the service was outstanding as well as being informative and engaging. Superb!

GET THE BAKLAVA!! As a vegan coming to Greece, I wasn’t sure I’d find vegan versions of traditional Greek food, let alone great ones. The menu here has so many options, I wish I could have tried more because the things I did get were phenomenal, some of the best food I had in all of Greece. I had the soutzoukakia with rice and it was perfect. My mom had falafel and loved it. And we both shared the chocolate mousse, which wasn’t too sweet (in the best way), and my personal favorite, the baklava… oh my god. Baklava is made with honey, so I didn’t think I’d ever get to have it, but they make theirs with olive oil and it was spectacular! The inside is nothing special, but who cares when the food is this good!?

It's a nice, unpretentious place for some good vegan food. The mushroom burger was probably the best vegan burger I tried so far. Tasty and with his own taste, not just a bad copy of a meaty one. The fries were also good. My only complaint was the mayonnaise or ayoli that was plain weird. The second dish, a curry with broccoli and rice on the side, was also good. The bear with salt was fine, but nothing special.

Excellent vegan (plant-based) restaurant. In fact, one of the best in Athens. Great staff, talented chefs. Not high brow, just simply genuine. As a vegan family with adolescent kids, the whole experience was incredibly satisfying and very well priced. It’s a small place, so be patient if you can’t get a seat, the staff are wonderfully accommodating and do their best to get you a place.

We had dinner at a lovely vegan restaurant and decided to sit indoors because of the bad weather. Unfortunately, the lack of natural light made the atmosphere a bit dim. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Greek to Indian, Burgers and more. The service was friendly and the food arrived fairly quickly. Regarding the flavour, it was average. Very average, the portion of the moussaka is really not tasty! We didn't touch it and didn't even ask what the problem was that we returned a whole portion (and of course they didn't give a discount or refund) The other dish of the hamburger was fine but not tasty with a very strange and soft texture. In addition, the toilets were not clean and smelled bad.

Cute and cozy, had yukaejang, spicy chicken and bulgogi beef. They have refillable banchan. Yukaejang hardly had any beef in it, but tasted really good. Spicy fried chicken had a really tasty sauce but the chicken was too soggy for my liking. Bulgogi beef was tasty and reminiscent, however the meat was slightly dry and on the salty side. Homely and cozy home-cooked style food at a reasonable price for Athens. (The food might have quite some MSG cos it left me thirsty)

Welcoming people with such a cosy little space. It's usually busy, so be sure to make a reservation beforehand, especially on the weekends! On to the main subject. The food is absolutely amazing! Each succulent bite oozes with flavour and tradition. From the korean bbq beef to the pork tonkatsu. Even the simple kimchi is unique and absolutely must try. Highly recommended to get various dishes and share between. Such a little gem of a place must be visited. Don't forget the sake or your alcoholic beverage of choice!😉

If you are Asian, you will not like the food here. It is not good, and definitely NOT korean. I’m sad to have spent my money here. The seafood pancake is *filled* with red bell peppers. It’s to cover up the tiny amount of shrimp and kani inside, but I’d much rather it be plain than with so much veg. The spicy pork soup was filled with spring onions (shown in photo), and the broth was not tasty. I’ve been craving any form of Asian food after 3 weeks of travelling, and I still couldn’t force myself to finish it. The bulgogi was bland overcooked meat. For the meager Korean options in Athens maybe the locals are happy to eat this, but again - if you are Asian, this is not the place to satisfy any form of craving. 难吃到死

I did not retreat — I saluted. For only the bold dare ferment such chaos into beauty. Then, the bulgogi — thinly sliced beef, caramelized with discipline and passion. I raised my chopsticks as if unsheathing Masamune’s blade, and with the first bite, I remembered the code of the warrior: “Set my heart ablaze! Even in the face of demons, I will fight and protect those I hold dear.” 🔥⚔️ The rice served as loyal infantry, absorbing every fiery command. And the fried egg atop? The rising sun of my conquest. As I finished my final mouthful, silence descended upon the battlefield. Not the silence of defeat, but that of serenity — the quiet that follows a battle well fought. The server approached, humble as a monk. “Was it good?” she asked. I looked upon my empty bowl and whispered: “The Shogun does not dine twice in the same war — but for Dosirak… I might.” Rating: 10.9/10 The kimchi burned my soul — and purified it. Most of the dishes were really delicious, with my favourite one being the seafood pancake and bulgogi. Last time I came I really enjoyed with bibimbap. I find some of the dishes overpriced for what they are. Too bad we didn't try soju since it costs more than 10€ which is an absurd price in my opinion even if you add transport costs.

Athens, Greece @ 84 Veikou street. 1.2km from the Acropolis museum. Open between 9am - 5pm. 9 seatings. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We opted for breakfast. Vegetarian omelette with feta cheese, peppers, olives and tomato. We received water at the table (no additional charge) and we had cappuccinos and 2 glasses of Prosecco. The food was well presented, delicious and good. The omelette was prepared nicely and not burnt (as I experienced when ordering omelette). The owner, Agapi, and staff, Harianna, was present. The were friendly and helpful and created a friendly environment and good positive atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit for an enjoyable brunch in a quaint and relaxing environment. Fantastic!!!

Superb restaurant, with super friendly service. The Poffies are a very cool breakfast item, which a portion being six filling pasty balls with filling. We also had a scrambled egg / tomato dish wish was delicious, although maybe a bit underdone. Really enjoyed our visit.

Such a great place for take away or dine in. Everything is made to order, so it will take fifteen minutes to prepare the food. These are similar to arancini - round breading covering a center with various ingredients. I had one order of beef & parmesean for lunch. 6 pieces, nice take away box too eat on the go. My only comment... It came with a sweet thai sauce and I think it would have been better with a tomato sauce. This type of dish is especially known for fruits and chocolate breakfast type options.

Small little place with outdoor seating. Great for breakfast. I had the Poffie egg which is fried egg with bacon on top of their pastry with a small salad. I got double eggs and everything was so flavorful. I also got the Poffie with butter, honey, and cinnamon. It was just the right amount of sweet, these little dough balls are simply amazing. If you are coming from the US don't expect quick service, that's normal so be patient it's worth the wait.

Nice little place to enjoy breakfast and a drink. Loved the eggs with the fresh salad and dough balls. Coffee was great. Service was excellent. Not a big fan of the sweet dough balls, but that's personal preference. Wife did like them. Overall had a pleasant breakfast and would go back to try more from their menu.

The bartender's recommendations are ELITE. He knew what I wanted better than me. I kept coming back here during my stay in Greece and opened myself to new flavours. Every IPA/APA/STOUT connoiseur must visit this place! (The fries and crisps were delicous, too!) Loved every experience here

We didn’t eat here but the beer selection and vibe can’t be topped. Both bartenders we had were excellent with recommendations. They got busy a few times, but service was always great. (In late August, they may be a touch late opening with their posted time due to holidays, but it’s well worth the wait.)

Fabulous selection of beers! Ee tried the Greek draught ones, they were ok, but not really impressive beers as you can have in the Baltics, Nordics etc. Nicr atmosphere, cool music, prices a bit high but acceptable.

Decent Asian food that might appeal to some, but I wasn’t impressed. The dishes didn’t feel worth the money. We sat at a small street table, and while the service was fine, the experience was nothing special.

Pink Flamingo is the kind of place you stumble upon once— and then find yourself coming back to again and again! The back buns are truly delicious, incredibly soft like little pillows, generously filled and full of exotic flavors - my daughters (who are very picky with food!) absolutely adored them. Personally I always end up getting a portion of noodles as well (the place is totally value-for-money, so you can order a lot from the menu) and the ingredients are every time super fresh and the sauces inventive and yummy. The staff are always welcoming and smiling, adding to the charm of the place. Being very small, it may seem like a place to grab a quick bite but it’s not: Pink Flamingo is an experience in downtown Athens.

Since they first opened food gets better and better and for this tiny place with a small kitchen it is almost a miracle that they are able to achieve such punchy flavors. Great value for money, smiling people at the service, great design ideas, quirky decoration elements and do not forget to try the sweet bao for dessert. More than decent ramen bowl as well!! If you are visiting Athens it is a must try and if you live here you probably already know it!

Excellent food and fast service. Very cozy feel with indoor and outdoor seating. Portions are good, and prices are reasonable. Cost per person aprox. 15 euros. Keep in mind this is a very small restaurant with limited indoor and outdoor seating.

We tried the the shrimp, pork and duck nap buns and they were all very tasty. I personally found the duck one to be the best of them, as it is quite hard to find it properly cooked on other locations. The bao buns were 7€ each which I believe is a bit pricey compared to other locations. We also got the dim sums which were amazing! A must when you visit this place. As a Christmas item they have a sweet bao with the flavours of melomakarono. This was intriguing so we had to try it. Unfortunately we ended up not liking it so much. I really enjoyed the cream filling but I personally removed the biscuits from inside because they didn’t match the texture of the whole thing. From us this was 3/5. Overall experience was good.

We had an amazing experience here. The spicy chicken noodles were absolutely delicious — flavorful, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. It was such a treat to enjoy a great meal in a cozy spot run by a Penn State alum! If you’re in Athens, do yourself a favor and support this restaurant — you won’t regret it. The food is great but if you're on a special diet like fasting, vegetarian, vegan or have allergies you should be extra careful! All meals are made in the same wok and even if the ingredients you choose are safe for your diet you might find remnants of egg/meat or other ingredients in your food! It would be nice if they had a separate wok or had a better way to clean the woks before throwing the next meal in.

Ordered the Hot Sichun Egg Noodles. The noodles were uncooked, and more like pasta texture. Hot sichuan sauce is so mild i couldnt really taste any heat 😅 it is filling but did not hit the spot for me.

This is a family run restaurant and the ambience, food, and services are amazing. The best Thai food I ever had. The red curry is so creamy and thick. The prawn and crab cheese fried dumplings is awesome, pineapple fried rice has a good twist of yellow curry, I can go on and on. If you are in Athens, you should try this place.

An amazing Thai restaurant in Athens. It was located in my friend's neighbourhood. She took me there to try it out after her shift. It's 12 minutes walking distance from gazi square. We tried the Singapore noodles with chicken, which was super delicious. Also the Chinese beer was tasty. The prices were good for what we got and the restaurant was very chilled. If you want somewhere a bit away from the centre then this place is worth it.

Stumbled across this gem just wandering in Greece and I immediately knew I had to try it and so glad that I did!!! Huge lover of Thai food and this satisfied my craving so well. I had the fresh grilled Salmon and made it spicy and it was chef kiss* Cocktails were great too and very refreshing.

Located on the 8th floor of 5 star rated Marriott Athens is a pleasant restaurant. Not overpowering and not understated, the restaurant styles itself as a “Pan-Asian” restaurant and I believe does an admirable job of presenting a focused menu of good selections. We started dinner with a small bite “Dim Sum” choice of miso roasted pumpkin gyoza which were four delicious dumplings in a tasty sauce which qualifies as a vegan choice for those so inclined. I had the black pepper beef with asparagus and we shared a side of steamed jasmine rice which pared well with my wife’s wok fried mushrooms with honey ponzu which also can be a vegan choice. Both dishes were excellent in taste and beautifully presented. We selected regional Greek red and white wines respectively to complement our meals and were well pleased with the food and drink. We finished the meal with the lemon grass crème brûlée which was quite good. If you are looking for something a bit different, give this place a try.

We dined twice while staying at the Athens Marriott. All the staff in the restaurant were very kind and the meal was fantastic. The cheesecake with the strawberry sauce was so delicious with the frozen berries with white chocolate also being a great dessert choice.

Order the Crispy Duck. They don't make the rolls for you but they are supreme in their offerings for it qnd their price! Everything was delicious but the duck is the star. Greek service can be a little abrupt, but that's ok, their food is excellent and we were staying at this hotel and wanted to give it a chance since we had indulged in so much authentic Greek treasures the last several days. They did not disappoint and have a gorgeous restaurant, gorgeous view and excellent food!

I recently visited E&O for dinner, and the experience was truly outstanding. We chose dishes from the Chinese and broader Asian cuisine, and we were thoroughly impressed. Every plate was thoughtfully prepared, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor – from the classics to the more creative options, everything was excellent. The cocktail selection was another highlight. Refreshing, well-balanced, with lovely aromatic notes that complemented the food beautifully – ideal for a summer evening. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff were polite, attentive, and welcoming, greeting us warmly and seating us right away. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, with great music and carefully curated decor. Overall, E&O stands out both for its exceptional food and its top-notch service. I will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Asian dining experience.

Considering the price and the “want to be a high-end place to go to”, I won’t give more than 3 stars. It’s Asian cuisine at its average. Unfortunately I haven’t found a really good Asian cuisine restaurant in Athens. Better avoid ethnic foods in Greece and be patient in order to enjoy them where the quality is genuinely high.

The service and food was outstanding. We love spicy and they did not disappoint. The edamame and ceviche was amazing. The fish was fantastic. I can not describe how refreshing the lemon crème brûlée was. My taste buds were sooo happy!!! Just fabulous. So happy we came.

Overall a pleasant experience. We had the Christmas menu, a surf-n-turf approach including both sushi and steak in the 5 course menu. Try to ensure a table by the window for a nice top view of the Niarchos foundation.

I have visited a couple of times and really enjoyed the authentic flavors, you can definitely taste Korea in the dishes. The portions are quite small though, and I would love to see more variety on the menu.

This is the best restaurant in Greece. If you order kimchi stew, you get three side dishes and rice. The portions are huge. Asians should definitely visit this restaurant. The service is good and the prices are reasonable.

Superb tasty Korean food with great portions and prices. We had Bulgogi and Bibimbap with a lovely soup. Wonderful. I highly recommend!

Good quality Asian foods. We had some lovely Rice wine, sushi, and Bibimbap. The service was really nice and the staff was friendly. The decor looked a little dated, and the way to the WC is on a very steep and narrow staircase leading underground. Overall, enjoyed my meal there.

I just ordered this korean soup, its soo good! I forgot the name, its spicy noodle with seafood, its 2 mins from syntagma metro.

A nice place in the middle of Athens, the prices are reasonable. I would recommend the Spicy Ramen as it can really put your tongue on a spice tolerance test. My companions choose to order a sushi set for 23 euros, the portion was GIGANTIC and everyone stayed satisfied. In the end, a wonderful place worth your visit if you are going alone or with your family(The quality of my camera is terrible so my photos can't give you a clear image of how appealing the food was).

Surprisingly good beef pho! Broth was light clean and flavourful although the beef was a little tough. The fresh soring rolls with peanut sauce were delicious too. Service was fast and set up is nice. Would recommend!!

This place is must visit in Athens. Amazing spring rolls as fried as raw. But my fav was vegetarian fried spring rolls. My friend took Marinated chicken and i tried little and it was amazing, i have never tried so good chicken in Vietnamese restaurant. Service is normal. Portions are big for cheap price. Highly recommended if you are in athens and want to try different food. Place is nice in the city center. Even they had air conditioners outside..

My favorite asian restaurant in Athens city center. They really keep as close as possible to authentic Vietnamese flavors! My top dishes are the Pho and the Vietnamese rolls. Very affordable prices and generous portions. Highly recommend it!

I have to admit, the pho here is actually even better than in Vietnam. It’s cooked in the Pho Thin style with lots of scallions, but the broth is sweeter and the beef is unbelievably tender – absolutely delicious beyond words. It’s like a lifesaver for my Vietnamese soul after days of eating too much European and Turkish food. The staff are incredibly sweet, gentle, thoughtful, and attentive. I’d give this place a 100 out of 10. If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place to go! Honestly, it’s even better than some Vietnamese food in Vietnam 🤣

Overall I really love this restaurant. I think their food are very good and the service is relatively quick. Mind you that the portion is quite big, so if you're a small-eater you may want to consider sharing. The price is not the cheapest, but this is also due to the location of the restaurant (what you can expect from eating out at the capital city).

It’s been four years since I last ate at Hanoi and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Last time, they were just one location - now they have two dining areas. Everything was so tasty you could tell they made food fresh to order. This place will always be a special place to eat. I hope to visit Athens again in the future so I can have this amazing authentic food!

Unexpectedly nice.! Taste is really good and portions generous. Gives you a wide variety of bases (noodles, egg noodles, rice noodles or white rice) as well as many toppings. Price is very good. Only pain point is the waiting time. We had to stand for 25 minutes before our order was ready.

Worst noodles I 've ever had in my life... They arrived drenched in a black dressing that tasted burnt oil (it was supposed to be curry coconut sauce). The egg was also burnt. The shrimp was raw and tasted like fish that had gone bad. I ate a couple of bites and I hope I won't get food poisoning.

Well I have been there just to buy something fast for my belly, went inside and I said “hello boys”…. none of them(two in total) greed back, after 20 secs one of them said “what would you like to order?”. What I am trying to say, you may be soulless as much as you want to be but when you are working with people…. try to act like a human being. I thought to my self… ok forget it, buy something and leave. And that’s the story.-

We were looking for a restaurant to have a small meal and stumbled upon Street Wok. With just two guys making up your selected stir fry the service is fast efficient and the food is good. Very impressed with this place.

We were looking for a break from Greek food the last night in town, so we ventured out to StreetWok. So good!!! Simple choices in 3 steps....a base of noodles, white or brown rice, etc. Step 2 was a protein, mushrooms, baby corn, etc and Step 3 was to choose a sauce. I had noodles, beef, mushrooms, baby corn and the hot Sichuan sauce. 🔥

This place deserve better rates. The place is small and seems to be working mostly on takeaway. The food is a kind of fusion between south Asian food and a hint of western flavors, and it tastes really good. Everything we tried was tasty. The service and atmosphere both nice and welcoming, and even though the kitchen was crazy busy with takeouts, still we got our dishes fast. We will be back.

The salad was amazing and so were the Chicken mr dim won tons. They were very crispy yet warm on the inside they were the best ones I've ever had. I didn't like the meat on the noodles that much since it had some fat which i very much dislike but that's alright :) 5/5

It’s a decent place good selection with focus on Thai food. A bit pricey for the quality of food. Definitely not a place for sushi. The uramaki rolls I tried were awful. The Thai soup was tasty.

An interesting place and delicious asian food in the heart of Athens. Very tiny inside but you can enjoy eating in the street instead. I'll repeat of I come here again.

I’m currently on vacation in Athens, and I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful Indian restaurant, which was highly recommended by a friend. I must say, I was very impressed! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. I especially enjoyed the Raita, Cheese&Peppers Naan, Chicken Tikka and Rice. Perfect! Being an English woman living in greece I do miss a good indian meal. I came to athens for a break and read about the Pink Elephant Indian restaurant in Athens. The madras was spicey as it should be. The prawn rogan josh also spicey but not top spicey. Lovely decor and finally just like an Indian restaurant I so much missed. The young man who served is was so polite and attentive also. Really good prices and if definitely go back. Also the house rose was perfect. A lovely pale colour and light and crisp. Amazing food, very nice tastes, friendly and kind service. Must try the lentils dish, salad with chicken and cashews and saag punner. Very good wine, warm atmosphere and decoration. I strongly recommend.

The food is tasty and flavorful with lots of seasoning herbs, it could be too spicy if you don't like chillies. Too sweet to my taste though. The quantity is satisfying with 3 dishes and we're completely full. Naan bread is my most favorite. Soft, chewy and flavorful as we ordered garlic and chilli naan. The atmosphere is ambient, not at peak time when we come so it's completely quiet, so does the neighborhood.

Best Indian in Greece!!! We are traveling from the US where we have lots of great Indian food. Of the places we tried here in Athens this was by far the best. Plus the atmosphere was fun and laid back. The owners were very friendly. One of our favorite meals in the last few weeks

Once I was in this restaurant 2 years ago, it was delicious, so this week I decided to have a delivery to my house. Service was fine, but the food not so much. The Okra dish was SO salty and over-spiced, I could not eat it (and I am usually not picky). It also didnt taste like Okra and the Okra were more "hard" as if they had dried for days in the sauce. The Garlic Naan was quite dry, I mean I expected something different from the picture on the delivery page. Same with the Pilao Rice, which I remember as an explosion of flavours - and now it was white rice with a little extra. Unfortunately my stomach also hurt this and the next day 🙈

I ordered Okra Masala, Garlic and Onion Naan and Fried Rice with Veggies. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options too. And the place is very cute and cozy vibes. 😍 It was amazing.. Felt like eating at home in India.. When you live in Europe it is sometimes hard to find home like food.. Chris served me food and he was amazing in his work… Very friendly and always with a smile😇

The staff at The Winner Cafe is absolutely amazing — so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful! Everyone knows the menu so well and can recommend exactly what you’ll love based on what you’re in the mood for. Best vegan food and experience we had in all of Athens. Top notch service and great vibes. We got the mushroom miso and smokey smashburger, and both were unreal. We also got dynamite, which was was very good. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Amazing food experience! I've been here 2 times, first time for pavlova meringue and it is as amazing as it looks - one of the best I've had ever. Second visit ended in picking vege burger with beyond-meat, again - very good and unique food experience with baked potatoes. All of it was sunken with very good coffee. Big recommendation for the food.

In a word EXCEPTIONAL. Though not”Greek” food arguably the best food I had in Greece. I had the Dynamite and it was a pleasant surprise. A combination of seitan (house made), rice and what I can only describe as a macaroni salad that blended warm and cold, made me eat slowly and contemplate how I could possibly try another dish in my less than 12 hours I had in country. I now know the meaning of comfort food as this meal coupled with the Chai green tea just made me relax. Then came dessert which I fully intended to have the cheesecake which they were out of and though my go to as a chocolate lover would’ve been the brownie, on the suggestion of the waitress I tried the Pavlova and I was again beyond pleasantly surprised. When I make it back to Athens I will definitely visit Winners Vegan.

The chef/owner and staff are super friendly! They nicely customized the "Bajo el Sol" chicken salad (8,50€) for me after I told them that I missed Mexican food! Chef added nopales (cactus) to it as well as prepared a dressing with chili. It was the best salad I've had in a long time and definitely coming back.

Cons- service was terrible, drinks were juice, little to no alcohol, white wine was undrinkable and they served a rose instead of red wine. Pros- the mango curry was excellent. About 1/3 of the bowl was curry, with a good amount of meat and mango pieces. The cabbage salad it was served with and the yellow rice was also really flavorful. I had the chimichanga, which wasn’t as good as the mango, but it tasty. I preferred etnico’s chimichanga, and their sangria. Overall, I’d say go ahead and eat there, but just get the food, not the cocktails or wine.

We had a great experience here. For the kind of restaurant it is, the quality is very high. They have an extensive menu and the staff are super friendly. The portions are generous, the food is very tasty and they have tables outside so you can enjoy the atmosphere of the neighborhood. We highly recommend the margaritas which are super cheap and delicious. Honestly, so much better than the other hyper-trendy over-priced restaurants in the neighborhood.

Went here for a light Saturday lunch/brunch. The staff is very polite and helpful and their menu quite large if a bit crowded with all the designs of all the different ethnic influences to their menu. We had a Thom Ka Ghai soup which was very tasty, a Babylonian salad, a 7 sauce chicken on pitta and a chimichanga. The salad was....a salad-it had peanuts but I don't know if that qualifies it as wondrous. The chicken pitta was ok, the chimichanga well done and the exotic fruits margharita very tasty. I would give them 3,5 stars if possible however it was just ok-not bad but nothing special. We paid 33 or 35 euros which was fine and we might be going back to try the more exotic items on their menu- I really want to be more impressed. If you do visit and it's cold or windy don't sit by the window- the booths further in are cosier!

I have been to Japan. Had sushi at Tsukiji Fish Market. Sushi is my favorite food. I would fly back to Greece just to have this sushi, chicken karage, and teriyaki chicken don again. 🤤 I will dream of you my lovely Shiraki!

Sunday and lunch time with friends to this Japanese restaurant in downtown Athens.... We decided to take different plates of sushi.. normal sushi.. spicy sushi.. sushi with eel.. green salad which had a great sauce and last but not least fried chicken.. we didn't have time to taste any dessert.. but on the other hand we taste Japanese beer.. it was not the best not the worst sushi place.. just a normal place..

Absolutely delicious experience. Liked the place from 1st minute. I had Ikura salmon Don, all ingredients were fresh and tasty. Service is nice, calm and respectful, they look around quite often and react almost immediately. Strongly recommend if you look for a place where to have a lunch or dinner.

Amazing food, really authentic Japanese food, nice staff and fast service. I super recommend the salmon tartar, the foam with wasabi and shoyu is amazing. The food is really nice and fresh. It was delicious. The service was great as well. We were a group of four and we really enjoyed our time there. It created a lovely memory for us. John was serving us and he took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place. Give it a try.

One of the best Japanese places in Athens, the food is decent quality for what you would expect for Japanese food outside of Japan. While the prices are on the mid-high range depending on what you get for the location in the middle of Athens the pricing is reasonable and expected. The udon is decent and the fish is fresh. There is a good range of items you can order so you don't have to break the bank eating here.

Late at night we were looking for a good and interesting restaurant and when we asked if it was open they said of course. They immediately arranged a table for us and when we received the menu I saw interesting dishes that I had not come across since visiting Japan. All the food was fresh and authentic and the produce felt very fresh. George the host received us with a beautiful hospitality. He told us stories and made us feel very warm which we needed. I give the restaurant 5 stars because the hospitality, food and service were of the highest quality. Highly recommended!

Best Pho of Athens 💖 And the Thai salad is magical!

A real Vietnamese place to be. Don’t expect anything fancy regarding decoration etc.. but trust me you will be gagging when you dive into the menu. Very good options on the menu for both , Vietnamese cuisine and some Chinese versions. Vietnamese rolls are way too yummy perhaps the best in town. I would definitely recommend the Peking duck along with their traditional rise wraps!!! The portions are huge and the prices very reasonable. Staff and management extremely friendly. You defo get the feeling that they’ve been cooking for their own house which is very overwhelming . I’ve been there again and again and was never disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Small vietnamese , chinese tavern. No fancy decoration but decent delicious food. Excellent starters and noodles. The soups are also very delicious. Service professional and polite. One of the oldest restos in town. Excellent quality and prices!

Bright and welcoming atmosphere. Great service and wonderful food. The best thing we ate was the caramel chicken (didn’t get a picture). You must get this if coming here because it was so good. We got a second order to take home with us. I’d recommend this place to anyone in Athens that needs a break from traditional Greek food. We also had the grilled pork banh mi, fried rice, and a salad bowl. All were delicious. Bathrooms downstairs are nice and clean.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Athens!! In our 6 days stay in Athens we went to eat here 4times😋 my favorite is papaya salad and vegan pho. Vegan pho soup was rich and delicious. Veggies are fresh. My husband had beef pho. He said it is one of the best he had including pho in Vietnam!! Staff is very friendly too. If anyone is craving Vietnamese food in Athens this is the place to go :)

Stumbled upon this place because we were in need of something other than Greek food. What a gem! We got the rice rolls and the Bun Cha. Both were so authentic and delicious, we wished we came here hungrier.

As someone who has eaten Vietnamese food in large cities all over the world, I can honestly say this was by far the best I’ve had. The pho broth was the most flavorful and the banh mi, which the waiter described as “a masterpiece,” truly was.

We visited Tanpopo in Athens and really enjoyed our meal. The space echoes the style of a Japanese ramen-bar — minimalist interior, open kitchen, and a lively noodle-house vibe. We tried two different ramen bowls, and both were excellent — full of flavour and beautifully prepared. I especially recommend the Torikotsu ramen: the broth was rich and creamy, perfectly balanced, and genuinely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. If you’re craving authentic ramen in Athens, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Tanpopo is an overall great place for dinner! With its Japanese-inspired menu, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area. I’ve been here a few times, and every time the food has been amazing. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big plus!

The best ramen spot in Athens. Simply a must visit. The philosophy of the restaurant is that all dishes are top quality share, except the ramen bowls. All dishes are extremely tasty and balanced. The flavours are Japan-ish influenced but still very close to western cuisine as well. I would definitely recommend getting the sando and the mazemen. I visit at least once every 2 months.

I was very impressed by the food Tanpopo was offering. The Shoyu Ramen was very good, the broth tasted rich personally best part of the ramen was the egg. The KFC was also really good as well as the kimchi, except it to be sour because it is fermented. Overall very satisfied, i definitely recommend trying out this restaurant

Easily say, Tanpopo competes internationally with ramen places, plus it has a creative edge like those incredible Gyoza Iberico. Great choice of ramens and top ingredients. The bar is around the kitchen with great details around. My go to place weekly.

Best vegan food in Athens!! My wife and I really enjoyed our mushroom gyros and soutzoukakia. The owner was also really kind and chatty. If you’re vegan and visiting Athens, you definitely have to visit Mama Tierra. There are a couple of tables with stools to sit at.

Omg yes! That really hit the spot. Greek salad, mushroom gyros, Balaklava were all amazing! And it was fully vegan. Although you wouldn't know. Highly recommended and well priced. Friendly staff but not much seating.

The Mushroom Gyros was easily one of the most delicious, flavourful, well-presented Gyros I had in my three weeks visiting the country. The vegan Tzatziki is next level. 10/10, would recommend, positive ratings are for real.

The bun rieu and beef pho are incredible! Our family is privileged to have an abundance of delicious Vietnamese restaurants back home (Vancouver, Canada), and this restaurant hit the spot! The broth was flavourful and ingredients were fresh. We had the pork spring rolls too. They were fried perfectly! We highly recommend this place!

Tasty and welcomed break from Greek food while traveling. This is not super authentic pho that you would get in NYC or Houston but it’s still quite flavorful. The summer rolls were nice and fresh and minty. Strange that the pho did not have bean sprouts or hoisin sauce. The chili paste was insanely spicy if you’re into that! Overall very satisfying meal and exactly what we were looking for after too many Greek salads and seafood!

The Vietnamese DNA in me always got an itch for Vietnamese food in my travels and this place popped up when I tried the vegan place next door a couple of days before. Staff was super friendly. Chef / owner is Vietnamese himself and knows several languages! Food was quite delicious (best effort on the type of noodles used, mind you). Although soup portion was small and that the noodle broth was on the salty side, it offered some craving satisfaction for now. 😋 For those who know bánh cuốn (rice crepe with meat or vegetarian stuffing inside), they got it! 🌱 There is a dedicated vegan menu!

Visited in early July 2025. The food was of an high standard. Pho with a great depth of flavour. Spring rolls good. Prawn noodles tasted pleasant (but very few prawns). Chicken curry tasty. Waitress was adequate but not outstanding. My son wanted his curry with noodles (not rice) and initially she told him "no" with much shaking of her head. Subsequently the waitress said she had spoken to the chef and the substitution had been agreed. The pho was delivered a very long time before the other dishes, causing diners to eat separately. To summarise, food is generally of an high standard but shrimps are few and far between. Service is mediocre. Recommended albeit with caveats.

One of the best Asian food in Athens! Amazing food, the taste and quality remain the top. We’re regular customers over the 2 years, and never get disappointed! Clean toilette too! I’ve really recommended to many people.

I ordered the beef Pho and it was very good. I live in San Diego where we have a huge Vietnamese food presence and the food here definitely is up to high standards. Staff was very courteous.

The food itself was fine but way too expensive. I'd rather go to the Hanoi at the church. The price there is way more reasonable and it also tastes better. The service was really bad. We were the only two customers and they didn't care for us at all. They didn't even see the need to tell us we have to order at the counter and we didn't even get a goodbye or anything when we left. We also had to pay upfront when we ordered.

Tasty fast food joint in Athens, good stop for lunch. I had the Funky Mushroom Bao bun which was huge!! sides looked awesome too.

We visited 'Funky Panda' in the heart of Athens and it was an unforgettable experience. Boasting a vast array of noodles and rices, this Asian eatery amazed us with every bite. The unique serving boxes add an authentic and special touch. And we must mention the dessert, simply spectacular. If you're in Athens and looking for a fresh culinary treat, 'Funky Panda' is your go-to. Highly recommended for those who love Asian flavors in a vibrant setting!

Is it a fast food place or a restaurant? Still unclear. We waited quite a while for our food, so definitely not “fast.” At the same time, there’s a hostess-type girl standing at the entrance trying hard to give off restaurant vibes—but let’s be honest, this is definitely not a restaurant either. Bottom line? The food wasn't tasty at all! Disappointing experience overall.

Great food, Great Music,very nice staff and chef. Bao buns are awesome. Made my own rice box with Beef and shrimp! And today...sweet chili wings (not greasy) fried to perfection. Thr heart of Athens just got a bit tastier! Oh, and thr crunchy onion on top, Bravo!

Sooooo yummy. The food was hot and made right in front of us. I really enjoyed eating here. Vibes were chill, lots of music, and a mixture of young and old patrons. We ordered bao bun with chicken, fries and edamame Athens is starting to remind me of Houston! So many different cultures and such a variety of flavorful food!

Great spot with a cool, laid-back vibe. Classic hip-hop playing in the background gives it a nice edge. The menu focuses on modern Japanese street food — not your traditional sushi bar, but something more fun and creative. The smash burger is legit — juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. The noodle dishes hit the spot too, and the salads are fresh and well-balanced. They also have a solid selection of sake, which pairs well with the food. Overall, a fresh take on Japanese flavors with a street-food twist. Would definitely go back.

As someone who has tried burgers in different cities around the world, I can say that the best burger I’ve ever had was here! When I took the first bite, it felt like I was biting into a cloud. We went on the second-to-last day of our trip, and after this amazing experience, we decided to spend our last night here as well. The staff were incredibly sweet, service was a 10/10. The atmosphere is warm and wonderful! It was the best €11 I’ve ever spent. Together with my boyfriend, it became one of our favorite places in the world. I’d come to Athens just for this flavor <3

Ambience was great. We chose to sit at the kitchen counter, always exciting to see the chefs operate in harmony and synchronization, especially when you’re a chef yourself! Food was delicious, from the smash burger and creamy delicious mushroom udon noodles + karaage to strawberry sando and homemade miso ice cream. Steak tartare was delicate and flavorful, also very generous portion as a starter (we loved that). Thank you! 🙏

Nice Asian food with a really good vibe, NYC style. I was expecting more from the burger — it was decent and good, but not outstanding. The green salad was good, the steak tartare could be better, and the cocktails were excellent. Overall, recommended.

Smash burger, chicken karaage and chicken sando are delicious. However waiting time were half an hour after ordering and they arrived cold. It's nice that they brought new ones, however it took 40 minutes to eat. Reservation is needed.

I heard so many good things about Ekiben’s juicy smash burgers, so I had to check it out and it definitely lived up to the hype. The burger was perfectly cooked, very flavourful and one of the best I've tried in Athens. While I was there, I also tried the Wagyu gyoza and soy chicken. Both were amazing, full of flavor and delicious. I didn’t have to wait to get seated, the service was friendly, and the restaurant itself had a really nice design and atmosphere. Overall, a great dining experience I’ll definitely be coming back. Lastly, don't forget to make a reservation before coming to eat.

Even though I like the place, a few employees are a bit arrogant, snobbish and a bit racists, too. At first I went in the place where the kitchen is and the guy told me to go out again and find the ladies who put us in tables. So I did. However, the darker hair girl didn’t give us a table at the beginning. She said there is NO table available. The lighter hair girl next to her at the entrance, who was really, really nice I might add, told her that there is a table available until 21:00. This table was obvious to the darker hair girl as well! It was 20:06 at the time, so we had plenty of time to get it, eat and leave. The darker hair girl insisted she had no table. So I insisted too that I want that table that was available, I tried really hard to get it and thankfully she said yes. All this after trying to gaslight me! By the way, 53 minutes were enough for us to eat and leave. The food came to us just 5 - 10 minutes after we ordered!!! Perfect. Nothing like what the dark hair girl said. And I remember that the last time I was there again the food took max 10 minutes to arrive, so what the darker hair girl told me was absolute RABISH!!! Ur kitchen is really fast. Moreover, when I went inside, I told the waiter why he sent me outside so I lost another 5 - 10 minutes and why didn’t he allow me to sit at the bar in front of him since he knew that it was empty. His reply was it’s not my job I’m not being … enough to do this job too! And I can tell you he did not seem very happy serving people, which is not nice for us also, to receive our food from someone who’s not happy offering the food. I really think you need to reconsider the people you hire, so that they enjoy it more and consequently we enjoy it more, too! P.S. While we were there, there were other spots/seats available as well, which is again nothing like what that girl described. She told me they were super super busy - NO empty seats anywhere to be found 😂 …. And this makes my argument even stronger about the way the darker hair girl didn’t want to allow me to sit there with my good friend who came all the way from Germany and I wanted to saw her Athens’ nice hotspots. By the way, the gyozas were a bit pink inside … didn’t seem properly cooked but tasty. P.S. I wonder how much money behaviors like this cost your stores …

Wonderful food !! Wonderful people!! Took my sister and friend here, who are both meat eaters and they both loved it. My friend could believe that the seitan was not actually meat. Really flavour full, however my sister just got a wrap and said that it wasn’t that filling so maybe we needed to get sides as well. Service was lovely, the lady that served us made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This restaurant has a nice variety of vegan options that differ from other restaurants. I was really happy that when I ordered the ‘spicy soy kebab’ it actually had a good amount of kick! The person who served us was very kind. There is a small amount of outdoor seating.

This place was mind shattering. The service was very fast and friendly (clearly, the chef loves serving this kind of food), the dishes we had were all fantastic, especially the köfte. Probably the best fully vegan food we've had. When visiting Athene, this place is a must!

Magic Kitchen offers very nice and affordable vegan sandwiches and a variety of gözleme (stuffed and grilled wraps). The food is prepared quickly and the service is friendly. Absolutely amazing food, friendly lady even though she was working the kitchen alone. We even got to enjoy some live music from the place next to it. I 100% recommend this place!
