One of the pure vegetarian places for vegetarian people. Only Falafel and nothing else. Get a giant Falafel and you are done with the meal. This was life saviour during my recent trip to Athens.

We had to try falafel while in Athens and this place did not disappoint. We tried the falafel pocket, which was a good sized portion for under 5 euros. The falafel was delicious, with a nice crunchy outer crust and many spices inside. The pita and vegetables were also very fresh. I would definitely recommend this place to try falafel in Athens, and if I lived here I would go back.

First time having falafel and Falafellas has made me a huge fan. Delicious through and through, really cheap AND the wrap is very decently-sized! We went back consecutive days for it. The place is more of a takeaway shop so you can just buy and go :)

As soon as we walked past this place, the amazing smell drew us in. We stopped and had a falafel pita and some tabbouleh. Both were delicious and really well made. Great prices too! They even added two falafel to my tabbouleh — such a nice touch, and they were absolutely amazing!

Super tasty falafel street food, I loved the “pocket size” option which wasn’t so small either. If I should complain about something it’s that service was close to rude, super serious and once they told us to wait 10 minutes for the order to be done, which we did literally in front of the place where they could see and easily call us, 15 minutes later we went back in to ask and they said oh we forgot about it and went to reheat it. Also FYI it is not 100% vegan, they do sell meatballs.

Definitely get the rice it’s very good and taste like home comfort food. The pide and lahmacun wrap were ok. Trying to be a bit different with the flavours but the bread wasn’t so soft or fluffy and a little dry so I wouldn’t say it’s the best pide I’ve had. Dessert was great though.

A while ago my friend told me that if I ever go to Athens, Greece I must go to Fayrouz Restaurant and taste their Lebanese food, It is really delicious. Finally traveled to Athens and remembered his advice so I went to Fayrouz Restaurant to taste their food. They welcomed me and asked me how I knew about this restaurant. After that, the owner of the restaurant welcomed me very warmly and she was very nice.I ordered a Sultans Nest and Peinirli Pastourma both were delicious, The restaurant was small but very nice and located in the corner of the building and the other corner is the Feyrouz Coffee Shop for the same owner, I enjoyed the food and highly recommend.

Had an amazing lunch at Feyrouz! This was my first time trying Lebanese food and wow—it was incredible. The flavors were so fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly and helped me choose the perfect dishes. Highly recommend!

The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, which makes you feel like you are in your local neighbourhood restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the best pide I’ve ever tried, made with the owner’s grandma’s recipe. They even offered me a free cup of soup, which was just as tasty. Lovely place with genuine hospitality.

Delicous place! Perfect option for non animal eaters (Vegeterians). Affordable? Yes!!!! You can easily eat with less than 5 euros. But if you like to have appetizers, entry, and desserts, you will not pay more than 20 euros. Food? Great flavors on the falafel sandwich. I ordered the cheese balls and they were delicous but too heavy for one person to eat ( in my opinion). They are greater if shared. Atmosphere? Right on the sidewalk of a very local neighborhood! I am highly recommending this place. Especially because they love animals as much as I do. Ahh, and their left overs are donated, and they are enviromental friendly! What else can you ask for? As someone from middle east, living abroad, this place vibes and food took me back home. Fresh and clean Falafel wrap, for drink I had the homemade limonada so refreshing in the hot weather. With a comfort outside sitting in a very nice location

I had really wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time for some nice fatteh, but when I finally went yesterday, I was very disappointed. When we arrived, there was only one lady serving all the tables. I understand that it can be overwhelming for one person to handle everything, but either more staff are needed, or the service should at least remain friendly and welcoming under pressure (in the hospitaly business). She didn’t greet us or say hello when we arrived. After we chose a table and sat down, we even started wondering if it was self-service. The lady came a bit later and placed a bottle of water on the table — without glasses — then disappeared. The table still had bits of food on it and flies were hovering around. We asked her if she could clean it because the flies were bothering my baby, and she said something I didn't hear as she walked away. She came back with placemats and menus, placing them directly on the dirty table, with the food scraps and flies still there. After waiting quite a while without any service, we decided to leave. My husband even tried speaking to her in Arabic, but she didn’t respond. To be honest I wasn’t sure if she spoke Greek, Arabic, or English.

Taste of Damascus is an eco-friendly restaurant serving healthy vegetarian Middle Eastern cuisine and offering training and job opportunities to asylum-seekers and refugees. After completing the restaurant training course, students are invited to apply to work at Taste of Damascus. There they receive support to complete the paperwork that is required to hire them. This incentive is created by Za’atar NGO non-profit organization dedicated to helping refugees in Greece. The food at the Taste of Damascus was so delicious, everything we tried was made fresh and beautifully presented. We ordered falafel plate paired with mezzés (hummus, moutabal/aubergine dip, muhammara/spicy dip). We also ordered fatteh. Fatteh is a dish made with crispy bread topped with chickpeas, tahini, yoghurt, lemon and cumin, it is served warm. The restaurant service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and cosy. Highly recommend.

The tabbouleh was all bulgur, it didn’t look like real tabbouleh The staff member was very rude The food didn’t taste like Syrian or Lebanese food at all. We only ate because we were hungry and had already ordered. I asked for hummus but I actually meant fatteh, and you told me it couldn’t be changed. This restaurant might only be suitable for people who don’t know how real Arabic food is supposed to taste. This experience will not be repeated. Of course, I have pictures of how the food looked.

The food was pretty good especially the falafel, which honestly stole the show. The fattah, however, felt like it showed up unprepared for its own performance. As for the staff… let’s just say warmth was not on the menu. Our waitress was so silent and cold, I started wondering if we owed her money in a past life. We received the menus without a single word, not even a basic “hello”..it felt like we were sneaking in to eat for free. Great food potential, but someone please defrost the service!

What a delightful dinner! The food was most delicious, like the sashimi and the steak. All the staffs were very friendly and recommended good food and wine selection. Bravo!

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious — top-quality ingredients and perfect execution. Prices are on the higher side for Athens standards, but definitely justified by the overall experience. The Orzo with fish was outstanding, and both the pasta and the goat neck are must-tries. Highly recommend for a refined yet warm dining experience.

This place is so worth it. It’s on the pricy end, but very worth it if you’re in that kind of mood. The food is amazing. Every bite we took made us say “wow!” The service is great. They were welcoming and accommodating to any need we had. Would definitely come back here.

One of the best overall dining experiences of my life! I found this place by looking for a good steak in Athens. The reviews were good so I book a reservations. From the moment I entered the restaurant everything things started good and just got better. Ambience: The design is modern nature with lighting that accents the earth tones and naturalistic design. So when they say, “ come down in a garden” you definitely feel as in you have been set in a candle lit garden mixed with an umbrella elegant upscale restaurant! As the man out with a lady I am usually sitting in the chair as apposed to the bench, and of course these chair vary in comfort. At Vezene the chair was a solid wood frame with a leather fir. Leather cushion that made me want to order a set to take home. The bathroom was not only clean but design with every detail in mind. From the gap soap with a slight grit, to the small clothes to dry hands, and event the faucet was placed over a wooden slat sink that kept the natural design going. Service: The host, sommelier, server, server assistant, all were attentive and accommodating. We were recommended a wonderful small production semi-sweet muscat that was light fruit forward and delighted my guest. Our server went over recommendations and highlighted dishes that were staples and guest favorites. We followed her recommendation and were not disappointed by anything we tried. Plates and silverware were promptly reset for eat course. Wine and water was kept chill away from the table and refreshed as needed. Food: We tried at least 5 starters and a main dish, the core de beouef. My favorites were the pellet tomatoes with a roasted report dipping sauce and whipped cheese that was diving. And of course the Cote de beouf perfectly cooked medium sliced thin with roasted cauliflower, peppers, and garlic. Salted just so. For desert we have a dish that was moist chocolate cake with a ganaches, vanilla ice cream with winter spice, nuts. The combination of textures and layered flavors had my guest doing a little jig. Everyones taste are different so I will let the pictures speak to you. I can not recommend this restaurant enough!

Stopped here for a brunch due to the high reviews and we loved it! The scrambled eggs are absolutely perfect. The other dishes, such as the famous chocolate pancakes are also lovely. Very friendly staff: It was extremely busy and it took some time before we got the menu card, but the staff remained relaxed and friendly under the busy tourist pressure.

Aspa brings back real hospitality, the kind that makes you feel taken care of from the moment you sit down. I cannot get enough of the cocktails here, they are seriously so good, and the view from this cozy spot is perfect for people watching on a lively street full of great shops and restaurants. If you are in Athens near Monastiraki Square, do not miss this place.

What a wonderful place This is, although it's a small hotel, it's probably one of the nicest places. I've ever stayed and I've been around the world. The people are the friendliest. The place is clean. The service is excellent. In the location is perfect. I can't say enough about this place. The bar and restaurant is excellent and again. The service is perfect with the most friendliest people.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant due to rude and disrespectful behavior from a waitress at the end of our meal. We first asked to pay by card, then a minute later requested to switch to cash through another waitress. The first waitress immediately intervened, speaking aggressively and accusingly, saying it was “not allowed” because we had already asked for card payment. She claimed it was “Greek law,” though we found no evidence of this. The bill was never given on paper, only stated verbally with the service charge already included, which felt non-transparent. When we told her that her behavior made us uncomfortable, she refused to take responsibility, blamed us instead, and continued speaking rudely. Other diners overheard and said they were shocked, had never seen such service, and even mentioned they wouldn’t return after witnessing it. We left one extra star only because the food was fine and served on time. However, the service itself was truly appalling and unacceptable.

The night before we went to this restaurant, a friend of ours was telling us that he didn't like it. Thank God we did not listen to him because, overall, we had a great experience. The three dishes we ordered were superb with the only exception to the risotto with truffle chips that was too salty. The service was polite and genuinely friendly and the atmosphere was ok. Due to overcrowding, there were some issues with cleanliness (floor & tables). Lastly, expect a bill on the expensive side.

I didn't expect to find such an exceptional Italian restaurant in Greece, but here we are. Fresh products are the key for amazing dishes and this restaurant knows it. You can feel the high quality ingredients in every bite, especially the Pizza. We had gnocchi, blue crab risotto and margarita pizza, followed by chocolate pistachio dessert. Everything was amazing and tasty. I would love to come back in the future!

It's a great place. It's very difficult to find a place in Athens that offers this kind of service. This is the best service in the city center. It's like they brought Italy to Greece. Congratulations to all the staff.

I had greater expectations for the margarita pizza, especially from a restaurant run by a celebrity chef. Nevertheless, I enjoyed very much my calamarata pasta and the tiramisu. The caprese with burata was also a bit disappointing…

Honestly came in on a whim and had no idea what was in store! Fabulous food, was something different that we weren’t expecting, their pizza of the day was a great staff recommendation, delicious and vibrant best pizza I’ve had in a long time, Cacio Pepe was super flavourful and I savoured every bite, my partner had the risotto with crab which was creamy and sweet and so well balanced even I was scooping spoonfuls of his plate, definitely have mangospritz while your their or their seasonal spritz which was a sweet syrupy strawberry spritz which was delicious The best surprise while being in Athens

We went to Ovio on some friends’ recommendation, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The atmosphere was warm and stylish, with a lively yet relaxed vibe that made the evening feel special. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was well-prepared and full of flavour, but the highlight was definitely the tiramisu – absolutely outstanding. It was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, Ovio delivered both in taste and experience, and I would gladly return. ✨😻

We decided to go here for an early dinner and switch away from the Greek cuisine. This restaurant turned out to be a great surprise. We went for pasta - a pomodori con buratta and a cacio e pepe. Both dishes have been absolutely tasty, very well balanced and looking great. But the dessert - tiramisu there is a must have. One of the best ones ever! Will totally drop by for a second time! Restaurant interior is lovely and so was the atmosphere. We ordered one pasta and one pizza. Pasta was mediocre - wanna be Italian, quite disappointing. Pizza was lovely though - delicious dough. Service was fast and waiters were attentive, although one of the waiters was slightly rude but the others made up for it, hence the 4/5 for service.

I had the salmon Benedict, the sauce was thick and creamy but lacked flavor. The salmon was decent but I took off parts that looked expired. The salad was old. Coffee was good.

Nice n easy is a nice enough restaurant which was on our route home from the hill last night. One of the reasons we chose it was because several reviews mentioned it was great for vegans and this just wasn’t the case. I’m not going to give a lower review as technically we weren’t misled by the restaurant itself, and the food itself was good, but there was not a single vegan main course on the menu, even the falafel burger bun had butter on it so we had to have a falafel burger between two small slices of sourdough. The two starters of aubergine and corn on the cob were nice though! Im sure meat and fish eaters alike will enjoy this place but was not ideal for our needs.

I really loved this place and im not even vegan! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, its our second time here and it never disappointed us. The gourmet salad is simply out of this world. Highly recommended.

We visited this place twice during our trip in Athens. The first time we got the carbonara and the club sandwich. The carbonara was nice, but the club sandwich was just okay. It didn’t seem so fresh. However, the second time we were AMAZED. It’s as if there was a new cook or chef in the house. The club sandwich looked nothing like the first time. It was DELICIOUS, a much bigger portion and seemed so fresh and warm compared to the first time. The pastitsio was also incredibly delicious!! And portions were BEYOND generous the second time. I also tried their praline and it was yummy! Overall it’s definitely worth a visit, and I’m glad we gave it a second chance. Definitely one of the best vegan spots in athens. What makes this place unique is that there’s seems to be a lot of thought in the meal composition: organic tofu, organic soy mince and gluten free pasta. This is very rare in the vegan food industry, but very important because vegans need to get enough protein from high quality foods without compromising taste and pleasure.

The Vegan food is fantastic and the staff are very helpful. It’s a lovely environment as well with good space and only the sound of people enjoying themselves. Decaf coffee and of course a variety of non-dairy milk options. My first food stop when I’m in Athens.

Was blown away to have a full GF/Vegan menu (and for each item to be so handfully crafted and tasty). Highly recommend not only for those with dietary restrictions, but anyone looking for a wonderful meal!

We went here for a delicious smoothie! I had the white smoothie and my wife had the yellow smoothie. The white smoothie was nice and creamy due to the cashews. My wife’s smoothie was slightly less sweet, but still tasty. €7.50 is quite pricey for a smoothie, but it was delicious. The food options on the menu look great as well. There are lots of places to sit inside or outside.

I’ve gone to Veganaki twice so far on my visit to Athens and it’s been amazing both times. Prices are amazing for the fresh, delicious, and healthy food you are getting. One morning I ordered a small portion of their avocado salad and also their breakfast omelet. The vegan “feta” that came on the side of the omelet was so good. For dinner i ordered their salad that had fig, feta, and mushrooms definitely one of my favorite things i had as well as the souvlaki wrap with tempeh and I ordered side of the fava beans.

Server was very friendly and attentive. There’s a great range of choices here for vegans. If I had the chance I would’ve revisited to work through more of the menu. Food is on the pricier side in my experience, but I’m happy to spend a bit more to support an all vegan business.

Great tasty food, and very generous portions. First time eating here, so did not know the size of each meal. Ordered too much, but still managed to finish our order. Staff were very helpful, and English language menu available on request. Tacos were fantastic. Prices were very reasonable. Will be back again.

Good tasting food but I really don't think the prices are justified... Similar street food restaurants have larger portions for a lower price and I don't see a reason to pay extra in this place. It'd be fine if the food was phenomenal but it's on par with others I've been to. Great place for easy casual street mex type food. Really tasty nachos, tacos and chilli con carne. Really good ice cold margaritas & fresh orange juice. Waiter was really friendly with us. Recommend if you want an easy dinner or lunch

Great street food at Central Athens We got "Chimichanga De pollo" which is actually a toasted tortilla with chicken etc and a tasty melted cheese. Good Value for money The sauce of "guacamole chips" was also very good Good alternative from souvlaki if you're looking for some good street food.

Amazing Mexican food, vegan and vegetarian options. The service was extremely welcoming. I highly recommend the vegetarian burrito and the tacos, and frozen margaritas that are served with great cheddar nachos. .

Athens, Greece @ 84 Veikou street. 1.2km from the Acropolis museum. Open between 9am - 5pm. 9 seatings. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We opted for breakfast. Vegetarian omelette with feta cheese, peppers, olives and tomato. We received water at the table (no additional charge) and we had cappuccinos and 2 glasses of Prosecco. The food was well presented, delicious and good. The omelette was prepared nicely and not burnt (as I experienced when ordering omelette). The owner, Agapi, and staff, Harianna, was present. The were friendly and helpful and created a friendly environment and good positive atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit for an enjoyable brunch in a quaint and relaxing environment. Fantastic!!!

Superb restaurant, with super friendly service. The Poffies are a very cool breakfast item, which a portion being six filling pasty balls with filling. We also had a scrambled egg / tomato dish wish was delicious, although maybe a bit underdone. Really enjoyed our visit.

Such a great place for take away or dine in. Everything is made to order, so it will take fifteen minutes to prepare the food. These are similar to arancini - round breading covering a center with various ingredients. I had one order of beef & parmesean for lunch. 6 pieces, nice take away box too eat on the go. My only comment... It came with a sweet thai sauce and I think it would have been better with a tomato sauce. This type of dish is especially known for fruits and chocolate breakfast type options.

Small little place with outdoor seating. Great for breakfast. I had the Poffie egg which is fried egg with bacon on top of their pastry with a small salad. I got double eggs and everything was so flavorful. I also got the Poffie with butter, honey, and cinnamon. It was just the right amount of sweet, these little dough balls are simply amazing. If you are coming from the US don't expect quick service, that's normal so be patient it's worth the wait.

Nice little place to enjoy breakfast and a drink. Loved the eggs with the fresh salad and dough balls. Coffee was great. Service was excellent. Not a big fan of the sweet dough balls, but that's personal preference. Wife did like them. Overall had a pleasant breakfast and would go back to try more from their menu.

We had an amazing experience at this place. The service was super nice and friendly, the owner even prepared the beer with lemon and salt for us, even though we just bought the bottle. We had the must delicious vegan meal, with falafel, baba ghanoush and an amazing pita zater. I totally recommend this place! Thanks for the good experience! 🌱

I love this falafel joint so much! I find myself craving their food regularly. I live nearby, however its location next to Victoria Square train station provides easy access to all. The falafel patties are reliably crunchy on the outside and have a delicious, soft interior. They are served with fresh herbs and a cooling yogurt sauce that complements the falafel perfectly. It's a family-run business, and the people working there are consistently kind, polite, and warm. Their friendly approach adds to the overall pleasant experience of eating there. For good falafel and a welcoming atmosphere, I wholeheartedly recommend this spot 🙏🏼❤️🤘🏼

This is a family owned restaurant, run by a lovely dad and his daughter. I came by after work weekly while living in Athens and I always looked forward to it! Really good simple food that was made fresh every time and very fairly priced! The service was amazing, the father and daughter were both always so welcoming and kind and provided amazing food and service. I really really highly recommend!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Just Falafel restaurant that exceeded all of my expectations. The service was exceptional, with great conversation with the owner who was always ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions I had. I was impressed by his professionalism and their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable. As for the food, it was nothing short of outstanding. Each plate was beautifully presented, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. One of the standout dishes was the daily dish which was cooked to perfection and served with a flavorful chef's secret sauce, the meat inside was also exceptional, perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of spices. And for the mozzarella and zaatar pies paired with unforgettable babaganoush, they was a decadent and indulgent treat that was the perfect way to accompany the meal. Finally I can't forget delightful falafel starter with simple but perfect yoghurt sauce. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. It was an unforgettable dining experience that exceeded all of my expectations. If you're looking for a place to enjoy excellent food, impeccable service, and a beautiful atmosphere, then this restaurant should be at the top of your list. Definitely one of the food places worth return to Athens.

We got into Athens late a needed a spot to get a late night dinner. We were so happy to stumble upon this. Quick service and really good food. We got the combo for 2 , which easily could serve 2-3 people. The falafel was SO good and crispy. We loved the chicken skewers too it had a great peppery flavor. Highly recommend for a quick bite!

This was the best street food, souvlaki, wrap place we found in Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. Great value, wonderful people, and nice outdoor seating! 10/10 recommend this place!!

The only place in this area with halal options and no pork. Very delicious shish taouk, their fries are amazing as well. The owner and the chef are very accomodating. Very calm atmosphere away from all the noise and busy areas. If you are in the city of Athens, this is a must try.

Delicious falafel. Delicioso. We ordered two platters to eat there and half way though decided to order two more to go. The Toum (garlic) and eggplant dips were amazing.

We first tried this restaurant by ordering delivery to our home. We had Kibbe, Falafel, and Lahmacun. The Kibbe wasn't good, but we liked the Falafel and Lahmacun, especially the Lahmacun which was quite delicious. After a short time, while walking in the city center and thinking about what to eat, we remembered this place and decided to give it a try. When we sat down, there was only one other table occupied, and they were waiting for their order. Seeing the self-service sign, my spouse went inside to place the order and make the payment. In addition to Lahmacun and Falafel, we also ordered Kebab to try. They told us they would bring the order when it was ready. We waited for half an hour. Since they took the payment when taking the order under the guise of self-service, we couldn't just leave and had to wait for the half hour. During this time, we saw many takeaway orders being processed. It seems they prioritize takeaway orders over serving customers in the restaurant. Moreover, the quality of our meals wasn't on par with what we had previously received through delivery, which supports my belief. I find this behavior rude and unacceptable. If you have any self-respect, I would advise you not to dine here to avoid such treatment. I'm giving two stars solely for the sake of the Lahmacun.

The Open Falafel Babaganouj versión is very tasty. I would prefer the pita bread crispy but everything was very good. I like that the dishes are paper's made but was a pity that the fork was plastic and inside a plastic bag. Very good price, only 4,50€ with 5 Falafel pieces.

This has got to be the best falafel I've tried in my entire life. It's incredibly crunchy yet very savory and the tahini sauce is just amazing. The spice is on point and it's really cheap. You can get other versions with yogurt if you'd like. You can also watch from the street how they prepare the falafel and fry them in a huge bowl. Take a pass by, it's really cheap and worth it.

I just took my last bite and had to rush to review this excellent eatery while flavors linger in my mouth. Peas has by far the best gyro I’ve had in Athens. The pita bread was substantial with a soft texture, tasted incredibly fresh. The seitan chunks were delicious as well, and I LOVED the potato wedges they added inside. I also asked for red spicy sauce on the side and it was the perfect kick of flavor to balance the creamy yogurt sauce. I’m so very glad I stopped here on a whim! The price can’t be beat (5.50 💶 for a giant pita) and the owners were so friendly. I met some expats in there as well and had a lovely conversation. I can see why this place attracts great people—their food is top notch, made to order, and oozing with love. Don’t miss it!

Absolutely incredible fresh high quality ingredients served up at very reasonable prices by people who take so much pride in their vegan creations. STAFF: Very helpful, efficient, kind and attentive to detail. Good ingredients served fresh, meticulously served up and carefully plated up for us. All food arrived very quickly, despite a number of people having ordered. FOOD: Absolutely delicious. I've had zucchini pasta and vegan cakes at loads of places and this is without doubt my absolute favourite. Only wish I'd found this earlier. Will definitely be back. INTERIOR: Modern, minimalist fresh clean interior with gorgeous plants on the tables and hanging from the ceiling. OVERALL: Highly recommend and it's very affordable.

The best vegan restaurant in Athens. The place was full of positive energy. The good thing aout it that they do not use onion and garlic in any of their food so very satvik food. It is the best for Swaminarayan and Jain devotees. They were so polite on the phone when we made inquiry and when we visited they served us very friendly. The food was so delicious that we could not forget the taste. I wish they have branch in London. We wanted to visit again but it was our last day in Athens but I strongly recommend PEAS for the best quality vegan food and detox juice.

A fully vegan restaurant that serve lots of options for vegan greek food. From their menu we took the Buddha ball with seitan, the mushroom burger and the seitan warp. From the 3 dishes the mushroom burger was our favorite, the soft mushroom burger was delicious although it kinda fall apart as you hold it, the bun was soft and came with lettuce and tomato (only thing would improve it if there were pickles inside), the next dish we like was the Buddha ball with quinoa and veggies that were well seasoned and the salad dressing was tasty, the seitan unfortunately felt a bit dry and under season and really need some dipping sauce on the side or above it. The last dish we tried was the gyros, it came in a warp fulled with seitan and tomato. The bread was soft but the dish felt really boring and missed some verity of veggies like onion, lettuce, etc to spice it up and give some taste to the seitan. The restaurant itself is cozy, with nice swing chair and self service stand for water & cutlery and the service was nice and quick.

I can say the food was excellent. We had one falafel with kebab and one with eggplant, and we were positively surprised by the taste that was balanced and not heavy. The price is so low, maybe due to the location and the clients. It needs to be and look more clean and arrange and clean faster the tables. We will come back for more!

Some food is good, only Falafel is very plain, like frozen ones in grocery store. Returned to try more, but ordering is a mess. I ordered a chicken, a kabob, a hummus. But found out hummus is missing in my bag. Called but with no luck in communication. sadly it’s a disappointing experience. I paid €21 for what is in the picture. This place has the BEST wraps in Athens. It is located not in the best area but that does not mean you shouldn't come. If you are a foodie, come here. The highlights from the menu are the chicken straws, the falafel wraps with eggplant(amazing,"falafel pita me melanzana"), you take a bite and you literally have an explosion of flavors in your mouth, it's so good you feel like you are not in Athens, eating their falafel wrap is like travelling+relaxing+feeling at home somehow(I'm italian and as you all know we love food), other great specials are the liver wraps(yummy!). The prices are very good. Cheaper than anywhere else in Athens. The cashier, the staff in general is very welcoming and they are pretty fast. Food was so fresh and flavorful. We got the falafel, babaganoush, hummus, and chicken skewers. Falafel and dips were out of this world and the veggies they gave with it were fresh and cut right in front of us. 100% recommend!

Food is 5/5, but the fact that they will scam foreigners and charge them more is a 1/5. We ordered 2 falafel plates, a kebab sandwich, babaganoush (eggplant dip), and a coke. It should have cost 19€, but they instead charged us around 20% more. The falafel plates at 6€ were supposed to come with fries but they didn’t. We asked them for fries, and instead of including this, they then had the audacity to charge us extra for a side of fries. I tried explaining this but they said that this was the price. Unfortunate, but in the future we would ensure everything was provided before eating. Food is good though. Falafel is excellent, moist, and soft. Kebab sandwich is fresh, spiced nicely, and cooked well. Babaganoush is blended nicely and very eggplant forward. And fries are really good quality. If only the payment issue was ok, this would’ve been 5/5.

ok so 1 star cause we can't give any lower. we chose this place according to the good reviews it has. we chose a couple of dishes that looked kind of good on the menu. hummus and sth else. both of them came with a ton of oil, doubtly it was olive oil. then we also ordered a little bit of tomatoe, but we were given a salad. as a side dish they gave us some pita bread, not really tasty and really dry. to add some flavour, we asked for spicy sauce. i mean i am used to spicy and I like spicy, but it was sth else, and it not only made me stomach sick, but Icould feel it the days after.; and it took me a few days to recover. would never go there again and neither do u

Avocado is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian and vegan food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is full of creative, flavorful dishes — but the real standout for me was the burger. Incredibly tasty, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying! Highly recommended for both plant-based eaters and curious foodies.

Decided to have something a little healthier and our host recommended Avocado. Vegan food can sound unappealing, but this place knows how to add flavour and texture to make really great meals. We had the poke bowl and the macro plate yum! We had water, but decided to be adventurous (for us) and try the Pimento spicy ginger drink - very refreshing.

We are here twice during our time in Athens. A cozy little place, close to our hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and although it was a little overpriced, it was worth it for the vegan food!! We had the spicy tofu, pumpkin soup, Om Shanti bowl and then we tried the key lime pie one time as well. Simply delicious! Highly recommended-

There are so many vegan places in Athens and it was real hornet's nest to choose something during a short trip, but I hit the jackpot! We had Rainbow supreme souvlaki and cookoomela bacon n' cheese burger, both were amazing 😍 and the prices are very reasonable. If I ever return to Athens, I will definitely go back to Cookoomela, and I wish such businesses every success. ✌️❤️

Lovely vegan souvlaki place in Exarchia. The owner is very kind. Serving sizes are giant and I can eat a lot :) I also really liked the organic white wine they serve. If you are into vegan food and in Athens, you should put it on your list.

Worth of trying the food here. You can have a typical famous gyros, but instead of meat, with mushrooms inside. The mushrooms, mushy but also crunchy making them a great substitute of meat. Also the vegan sauces are really good here.
