Chinese noodle restaurant
Royal China Restaurant, located in Preston Royal, is a long-standing family-style Chinese eatery known for its authentic cuisine, including hand-pulled noodles and housemade dumplings. The inviting main dining room features stylish decor with cheerful yellow and red walls, red banquettes, and striking black-and-white art photographs. Solo diners can enjoy views of the bustling kitchen from the white marble dumpling bar.
Royal China is always delicious! They have an excellent lunch menu with specials. Specials include rice, soup and an eggroll. The veggie dumplings were exceptionally good. We got the Jasmine tea. It came in a lovely pot. Our server was fabulous! I am making plans to go back!

How this place has over 4 star rating is beyond me. Food was disgusting. Lo-Mian had a weird taste. The “crispy duck” was not crispy and also tasted off, no one ate that and it was $31. The “egg roll” had no egg, the smallest about of minced meat but ALL THE CABBAGE THEY COULD FIT INTO A ROLL. The highly rated Dry-Stirred Beef was soggy and tough. I added a side of hot mustard for $1. I would had ordered more sauces if I had known they wouldn’t include a single one. No soy sauce, duck sauce, nothing. Such an expensive meal for hardly anyone to eat. Oh and I paid $2 EXTRA for more broccoli in the sesame chicken and they added it to the same container as the rest of the meal. Basically I got more broccoli that I paid extra for but this apparently meant I got less chicken in the meal due to this. Would not recommend and will not order from again.

First and last time visiting Royal China. The restaurant itself was clean, but we repeatedly had to send back silverware and glassware—either there were random objects floating in my drink or smudges on the utensils. It was disgusting. Service was just okay. Nothing to brag about. Our server would disappear for long stretches, and we constantly had to ask other staff members to track him down. It was frustrating. The food was simply bad. I can’t dress it up—it was gross. My husband liked a couple of items, but for the most part, we forced ourselves to eat what we could since we had paid for it. Much of it didn’t taste fresh, as if it had been sitting out before being served. The flavors were harsh, and the smell turned my stomach. The only thing I somewhat enjoyed was the scallion pancakes. We won’t be back.
Tisha W — Google review
It was good) The hand-pulled noodles and dumplings were fresh and full of flavor—I especially liked the dan dan noodles and soup dumplings. The atmosphere was cozy, and it was fun to see the chefs making noodles by hand. It’s a great spot for tasty and authentic Chinese food.

While traveling through town on a road trip we were able to get in just under an hour before they closed and the place was full. They had no issues seating us right away, service was quick and so friendly. We were still out by closing. The crab rangoon was the biggest I have seen and so delicious. The egg rolls were amazing in that they are just like you would expect but instead of greasy or frozen, everything was super fresh and delicious. I got sesame chicken which was made to order and literally melted in my mouth. I was able to choose light or dark meat and chose dark. It tasted a little different than most sesame dishes but in the best way. Husband got the yellow curry and loved it. The side of fried rice was on point as well. The portions are big, so I brought them home and leftovers were great. I have saved the location as a favorite so any time I am going through I can find it again. I also texted my local friends to insist they go there as well, regardless of how far they have to drive. :)

First time here, the staff was very welcoming our waitress did an amazing job.. The food was delicious. Definitely plan on coming back.

Had a good lunch at Royal China. I had high expectations as I’ve been to Asia numerous times. It’s decent food. Price is normal for this area in Preston Hollow. Service was good but not stellar. Waiter had too many tables. He was kind. I had the shrimp dumplings to start. They were excellent and only $12. I had a raspberry mule to drink that was also great. Then for the entree I had General Kaos chicken. It wasn’t super hot when it came to my table. It also wasn’t spicy. I had to request more chili oil. The lunch entree was mid, decent but I’ve had better. If I return, it will only be for dumplings.

Had gone there with least expectations, I am fan of the below menu and ended up ordering: Mapo Tofu: Great Fish Fillet: Good and Shrimp Dumplings: Great Great service and atmosphere.

Kirin Court is a bustling Chinese eatery, banquet hall, and bar located in Chinatown. It's known for its all-day dim sum service and offers a diverse selection of around forty options, including soup dumplings, taro cakes, congee, barbecue pork buns, and chicken feet. The restaurant has been constantly reinventing itself with updated interior decor and website revamps.
The whole experience was astonishing! We were immediately attended to and given a table. The waitresses were so friendly and made the whole experience smooth and fast. The carts came around quickly and food was hot. Food was delicious, the dumplings and the beef noodle wraps had thin wraps which is golden. The waitresses were attentive on our tea and water refills. I had a really good time going and will definitely come back. I read the negative reviews before I went, scared me a bit, but I’m so glad I went and those negative reviews I did not experience.
Melisa — Google review
Had dinner here to welcome a conference speaker. Very nice restaurant! Great dim sum. The food is fresh and delicious, especially liked the Lobster and Peking Duck -- full of flavor yet not too oily. The service is friendly and fast, and the environment is clean and comfortable. They go extra miles to make the customers happy. Good for casual or social. A great place to enjoy authentic dim sum with family and friends. As you can see we enjoy the food so much that I forgot to take a picture ahead of time. Definitely recommend.
J X — Google review
Kirin Court is a must visit for Dim Sum. Located in Richardson, the popular Dim Sum haven has served up delicious food for several years. The service is welcoming and attentive. You will enjoy the friendly atmosphere Kirin Court provides. Some of my favorites include the shrimp dumpling, chive dumpling, shrimp balls, baked pineapple buns, and sesame balls.
CJ S — Google review
It's been multiple years since I've last visited Kirin Court. It was as good as I remembered it. Great place to get some dim sum. We can only a Sunday evening, and it was fairly slow at the time. It made chatting very easy. Highly recommend checking it out, if you've never been.
Kaitlin B — Google review
Came here on a weekday for lunch, not crowded. Not much food variety for dim sum. 2 carts came by but not very interactive with us, one of the ladies just came over next to our table but not offering anything from her cart 😅 We ordered a Pan Fried Spicy Clams. It tasted COLD, SOGGY, NOT PAN FRIED. It should be hot and spicy. We told them about it, they brought it into the kitchen and came out again. You can definitely tell they just microwaved it. It wasn’t hot at all. Very disappointed on this dish 👎🏼 I’m just glad I didn’t get food poisoning if the clams were not cooked properly.

Food and service was great! We had Jellyfish Salad for the first time ever. Was really good. We tried the Fried Shrimp balls; scallop, Squid, Shrimp in spicy salt, shrimp fried rice, white radish cakes, it was all great!

We had our wedding at Kirin Restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible truly every single dish was delicious, so much so that I can’t recommend just one. The owner, Michael, is one of the kindest people we know. He genuinely loves to take care of people and takes so much pride in his beautiful restaurant. It shows in every detail from the warm hospitality to the incredible food and atmosphere. Michael, Nick, John, Jimmy, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our special day unforgettable. If you’re looking for outstanding food paired with exceptional service, this is the place to go. Kirin is not just a restaurant it’s an experience. We are so grateful to Michael and his team and can’t wait to come back again and again! Danny, Kim & the Pham Family

The best Chinese restaurant in Dallas! Food was awesome delicious! waiters, and the owner are all super kind! I was in Dallas for three days. And I had dinner twice at this restaurant. I’m a Chinese foodie. If you know what that means, I’m super high Standard in terms of restaurants. And this one is absolutely one of the best! We had a function there. The owner and waiters try their best to make our event memorable. We really appreciate their hard work. And their food was amazing. If I ever in Dallas again, I’ll definitely stop by and eat there again.

Fortune House Chinese Cuisine is a vibrant bar and eatery with a relaxed atmosphere, offering an array of Shanghai soup dumplings and other dim sum delicacies. Nestled in the Las Colinas area of Irving, this restaurant stands out for its focus on Shanghainese cuisine, featuring an extensive menu that caters to diverse tastes.
I had dinner at this place yesterday and made my reservation through Google. They honored all my requests, and I was warmly welcomed by an amazing server named Alex. She truly elevated our experience by explaining the dishes, engaging in conversation, and ensuring we were well taken care of. She was incredibly attentive, checking in on us frequently and promptly refilling my drink when it was running low. The food was absolutely outstanding! I ordered the ginger beef and started with a sampler of dumplings—both were exceptional in quality. The restaurant's ambiance was wonderful, offering a great view, but the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the top-tier customer service provided by Alex. I love sharing my experiences through reviews, and this place definitely exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to the entire team, from the kitchen staff to the front-line service—you are all fantastic!

This review is for Zane! You are amazing! This was my first time here and Zane helped me order and everything that was brought to our table for better and better and better! The sizes were large so I had leftovers and they were just as good the next day! I had the lychee lemonade (not on the menu) and it was awesome! I got one to go and forgot it and when I came back for it he had it at the bar with a covered straw waiting for me just in case I was coming back The food The service The atmosphere Wonderful! Eat here!

We love this place! They just changed the menus, came out with a new happy hour and made some changes in the restaurant. Food is delicious and the service is just amazing! Zayn took care of us, he is the best and he always made sure we had everything and came with that positive energy , he is always happy and provides the best service!

Always enjoy coming to fortune house. The spicy green beans and scallion pancakes are my favorite. They have a great HH menu and drinks are perfection!

Fortune House is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The duck egg yolk prawns is a wonderful and one of a kind dish that you won’t find anywhere else. The soup dumplings were good. The scallion pancakes were tasty. The drinks were great and very well made. Will go for take out every now and then. With that being said, the dine in experiences I had there have been very good so far as the service is quite friendly and attentive. The ambiance and decor is nice and inviting.

Fortune House – Valley Ranch Absolutely love this place! The food is outstanding, especially the dumplings, wonton chili, green beans, and the sweet & salt shrimp tempura—all are must-try dishes. The best way to enjoy Fortune House is to go with a group of friends, order family style, and try as many dishes as possible. The variety and flavors never disappoint, and every visit feels like a feast. We love it here and highly recommend it!
JW H — Google review
Had a business dinner and enjoyed some excellent Dumplings and stir fry. Dumpling Sampler had four very different flavors, all good, and it was a fun experiment to try them all. I found the chili wonton was tasty, not spicy, and way too slippery for me to eat easily with chopsticks. Salt and pepper fish had good flavor, but I'm not a fan of the breading used. My favorite dish was the beef with black beans. It was full of fresh peppers and onions, will order it again. Service was friendly, unfortunately they were understaffed for how busy they were on a Wednesday. Overall I recommend this restaurant.
Mark S — Google review
Not good food. Dumplings were dry, and salt and pepper fish just felt like ordinary fried fish lacking taste. It would be okaysih food for a much lesser price. Good service friendly ppl but wouldn't visit again due to the food.

Chinese restaurant
Wu Wei Din Chinese Cuisine in Plano Independence is a casual Chinese eatery that serves up traditional dishes in a modern setting. The restaurant offers a variety of options, including noodles, cucumber salad, fried chicken thighs, blazing tofu, scallion pancake, shrimp fried rice, chicken curry and veggie lo mein. It's known for its authentic and delicious Taiwanese cuisine. Customers have recommended trying the spicy beef noodle soup and xiaolongbao (soup dumplings).
This is my new favorite spot. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the glass area that lets you watch employees make dumplings by hand and its fantastic. The dining area is neat, clean and open. We ordered the cucumber salad, Pork soup dumplings, spicy pork wontons, and Taiwanese braised beef soup. Every item has its own unique flavor and with how varied the menu is, you're bound to find something you enjoy. Our server was fast, helpful, and attentive. The menu clearly states allergens and our server made sure our dishes were safe and made no contact. We were really happy with our food, the service, the affordability, and the experience overall. I recommend you come with atleast 2 others to sample as much as possible!

The cucumber salad and golden kimchi is must try appetizers perfect to start of the meal, very refreshing. Scallion pancake was really crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Soup dumpling was delicious and the sauce it came with was really good as well, it had sliced ginger in the sauce. Every dish was good and definitely will come back for more food.
Riki S — Google review
We tried a variety of dishes at Wu Wei Din and had a great experience overall! The Beef Pancake Roll was my favorite—so flavorful and satisfying. The fried rice was a bit bland and the drinks were weak, but everything else was tasty and well-prepared. Check my photos to see everything we ordered! Definitely worth checking out in Plano.
Thao T — Google review
the food was great !! the beef flat noodles were so flavorful and delicious, cucumber salad was refreshing and had good flavor and the soup dumplings were good. we wished that the portion for price for the soup dumplings was bigger, since they were a bit pricey but they were still very good nevertheless. we will definitely return here for special occasions :)

Absolutely fantastic Taiwanese cuisine! Wu Wei Din is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Plano. The Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings) are a must-try—delicate, flavorful, and filled with perfect hot broth. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup is incredibly rich and comforting, and the Spicy Wontons have just the right amount of kick. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. Great atmosphere and attentive service, too. Highly recommend coming here for an amazing meal!
Darren B — Google review
Everything was delicious! The orange chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sweet and tangy flavor. The pork chop fried rice was full of flavor and a great portion, and the soup dumplings were soft, juicy, and packed with broth. All the food came out hot and fresh — I’ll definitely be coming back!
Jaspreet D — Google review
I had lunch there on Sunday. The restaurant was spacious and clean, with a nice interior. The staff was friendly. I ordered dumplings, fried rice, and noodles. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. However, the food was a bit salty. However, a fruit fly kept circling the table during my meal.
Chan P — Google review
Aug/2025, Sunday around noon, Wu Wei Din off Hiway 75. Careful when ordering takeout from their website, they tried to automatically add a $10.00 tip on my $60.00 takeout order! Busy place (good sign!), we ordered takeout, but could have been seated right away if we dined in (big restaurant). Ordered Sesame balls (they are small balls - golf ball size - so a much better blend of flavor compared to large sesame balls!). Sesame Chicken (actually fully breaded, with decent sized meat inside - not like some restaurants who skip breading and simply sprinkle some sesame seeds on top) total awesomeness!, Orange Chicken just as awesome as sesame chicken!!!, Szechuan Beef (nothing special but very good), Shredded Pork Fried Rice (Plenty of pork and good flavor). Will definitely return!!!

Bushi Bushi Dim Sum Place is a popular dining spot in Addison, Texas, offering a diverse menu of Asian cuisine. Located near other top restaurants, this place stands out for its delicious dim sum and casual atmosphere. With its blend of traditional and modern flavors, it's a must-visit for those looking to explore the local dining scene. Whether you're craving classic dim sum dishes or innovative Asian flavors, Bushi Bushi has something to satisfy your taste buds.
My friends and I decided we wanted dim sum and one of my friends had never had soup dumplings and we figured why not here. I’ve been to the location in Frisco and it was good so I knew this would be just as good. We ordered dim sum and family style. We were so full and had to take some home. It made for a great snack later. Food was fresh, service was great and it was a busy atmosphere. Great for small and large parties. Check it out if you’re in the Addison area. Till then, let’s eat!!!

I have lived in Dallas from Houston for over a year and have been disappointed in the Chinese food quality until today. Bushi Bushi is delicious! The atmosphere is open space, laid back, but with an upscale vibe. The prices are extremely affordable and the quality of food is superb. I spoke to the manager and he was a delight, very appreciative. The wait staff is accommodating and spot on for all our needs. We will return!
Sara D — Google review
The entrees had an authentic Cantonese flavors. The stir fried dishes had the “Wok’s breath”, which is a good thing. The portions were a little bit smaller than expected for the price. The dim sum, overall it was good. The soup dumplings and baos were very good. The Siu Mai was more shrimpy than porky, tasted like it was the same filling as the har gao. The wrapper of the har gao was a bit thicker than expected. The service was great, and a very cute and thoughtful detail of handcrafting a mechanism for kids to use a chopstick as well as a kid’s plate. The ambience was fitting for a hot summer day as it was cool and shaded. The place was clean and neat.
Fansntt — Google review
First time being here and was not disappointed. Big portions. I ordered a large bowl of hot and sour soup, delicious. Then the pork soup dumplings were also delicious. Everything was excellent. We had the bbq pork belly, pan seared wygu pot stickers , the hot oil wontons , salt pepper shrimp is huge shrimp , and the beef with flat wide noodles. The galaxy lemonade, we will definitely be eating here from now on

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bushi Bushi Dim Sum. The soup dumplings are hands down the best I've had—and I've tried them all across the country. Each bite bursts with flavor and craftsmanship. The hot chili oil dumplings are equally incredible, offering the perfect balance of heat and depth. The scallion pancake deserves a special shoutout—the sauce it comes with is so good I could honestly drink it. On top of the amazing food, the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. It truly feels like you're dining in your Chinese grandma's kitchen—comfortable, authentic, and full of heart. This place is a must-visit for any dim sum lover. Can't wait to come back.

It was easy to send orders with their ordering system through our phones. The ambience was nice. Went there for dimsum. They looked like they were short staffed but they had the robot delivering out drinks that helped them. We had a good dinner/experience there.

Went here with my boyfriend and a few of his friends. We went just as they were opening for dinner service so we were seated immediately. Food came out pretty quickly too. It was delicious and I completely forgot to take pictures of the shumai & dumplings that we also ordered.

A little dark but the food was amazing! Authentic Chinese cuisine. We came in at 430pm and not your traditional cart dim sum probably since it might be slower ar dinner time not sure, first time to this place since our hotel was right across the street. I hadn’t had dim sum in a long time since my favorite place shut down right after covid. So happy to find this place. My daughter is picky but loved the combination fried rice and sesame balls has red bean and small balls u like other places that are way too big and too much carb in one ball! Loved the Peking Duck (didn’t come with the duck sauce I’m used to) but has enough flavor and shrimp ball the sweet and sour sauce is a great blend of sweet and sour not too much of one or the other. Try it! Will be my go to place when we visit the area again!

Jeng Chi Restaurant, located in Richardson, is a popular spot known for its classic Chinese cuisine. The menu features traditional dishes such as dumplings and noodles, along with a selection of wine, beer, and baked goods. One of the restaurant's standout offerings is the xiao long bao, which are described as small juicy on the menu and arrive eight to an order in a bamboo basket.
Jeng Chi is hands down my go-to Chinese restaurant in Dallas, and honestly, the best in town! Everything on the menu is top-notch, so you really can’t go wrong no matter what you order. One thing I always get is the Jasmine Green Tea, not just for the taste, but for the presentation too. It’s smooth, fragrant, and a perfect complement to any meal. Don’t skip on desserts! Their desserts are just as good as the rest of the menu and totally worth saving room for. Come early or make reservations because this place fills ups quick. Highly recommend!

Wow - this place was everything I hoped for and more! From the exceptional, warm, professional service to the sprawling yet cozy interior and of course the amazing food! We were fortunate to get there shortly after 5pm on a chilly, grey Saturday and only experience a 15 minute wait. When we left around 6:30 the lobby was packed with folks waiting for tables. Our server steered us in the right direction from entree selection to pro tips on eating soup dumplings correctly all the while remaining warm and attentive. Now for the best part - the FOOD! The hot & sour soup was the best I've ever tasted with a variety of mushrooms and flavorful broth. Next up was the onion pancake, perfect crispy/chewy texture and delightful for dipping. The spicy wonton appetizer was incredible, the SAUCE was hot and heavenly! 🔥 We debated several soup dumplings options but were pleased that we chose the curry chicken ones, my husband said these were one of the best things he's ever tasted.l and I have to agree. The delicately spiced filling inside of the silky dumplings was absolutely divine! We capped off our meal with the orange chicken, it was flavorful and the perfect combo of crispy, savory and a little sweet. We didn't save room for dessert, but will be back to try the beautiful pastries displayed in the cases at the front. The cocktails looked legit, although we opted for the blossoming flower hot tea.

Overall pretty good. Got the Mongolian Beef and bell pepper beef. The Mongolians beef felt more like Mongolian onions 🧅 than beef . I think the dumplings are very popular here and should be tried. The service isn’t the best here.

This place is incredible. Although I have never had true authentic Chinese before, I imagine this is about as close as you can get. Make sure and book a reservation! Great service and there wasn’t a bad thing on the menu. I recommend getting lots of different foods, and sharing it buffet style around the table! Would love to go back if I was in the area!

This is a hot spot for me and my coworkers, and the soup dumplings are amazing! It's a great spot to eat family style, so everyone can try the different flavors. The staff is also very kind and flexible, and they are happy to answer any questions on how to enjoy the food to the fullest.

Good service, but food was very disappointing. We ordered 7 dishes: the soup dumpling had thick dough, salty soup but no depth to it; wontons in chili sauce were overly salty; crispy duck was dry; fried vegetables were terrible — bok choy was old and stringy; lamb was too salty. Only the walnut shrimp stood out as good. Portions were small, and the bill for 7 dishes was over $150. If you look for good authentic chinese food, don't come here because this is chinese "american" standard food.

This place is a GEM! Handmade dumplings 🥟 are superb! Orange beef was so tender I could cut it with a fork. Hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had. Seaweed salad was definitely different than I’ve ever had. Crab rangoons had blue crab and the dipping sauce was excellent. I loved being able to watch them make the dumplings by hand. Very clean, great service and definitely worth every dime.

With over two decades of culinary expertise and additional locations across Los Angeles and China, Dumpling House promises traditional dishes that are both hearty and flavorful.
I really like this place. I they make the food really good and put the effort in into it. I had beef pancakes for the first time. I didn't care for them because once you bite into them. All the juices come out every where LOL. Surprise! Dumplings where good but a little sticky to each other. But other than this, tasty

I’ve been here years ago and it’s still very good! We ordered the pork with chives pan fried dumplings(very tasty and crispy)! We saw that they had a lunch special with come with soup and spring roll! I had the sesame chicken (there were too much sauce but it was tasty), my husband had the Mongolian beef which had way too much sauce, the portion was huge, a lot more than my sesame chicken! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely go back and tried other entrees!

Very good! The Mongolian Lamb was absolutely delicious. We also got the chicken soup dumplings which were great and the “cheeseburger” potstickers which were unique and surprisingly tasty. The portions were great for the price and the server was prompt and friendly.

Saw this from “eatindallas” TikTok page and it did not disappoint! We got the beef chow mein, crispy spicy chicken, steamed house signature buns, and the chocolate soup dumplings for dessert. Service was phenomenal and everything had such great flavor! We want to come back and try the pan fried dumplings and soup dumplings.

OMG...I wish I came here before now. They have the most amazing spicy soup dumplings and egg rolls. The servers are so kind and friendly. Definitely a new favorite!!!!

We stopped by Dumplings House for lunch and had a somewhat mixed experience. The soup dumplings were tasty and hit the spot, but the chocolate dumplings took quite a while to arrive. Service was generally friendly, though a bit abrupt at times. The younger staff, in particular, didn’t seem too enthusiastic — they did their jobs, but it felt like they’d rather be somewhere else. One thing we noticed was the inconsistency in the dumpling sizes — some were noticeably larger or smaller than others, which made the presentation feel a bit off. Also, during our visit, there was a dog inside the premises. It barked a few times, which disrupted the meal a bit. For anyone with allergies or sensitivities, having a dog in a closed dining space might not be ideal. Overall, the food has potential, but the service and environment could use some tightening up.

I wish I could give more than just 5 stars because this establishment deserves 20 stars. Hands down. My friend and I were met by a very nice waitress l. We ordered our food and as soon as the food arrived I already knew this was going to be amazing. Flavorful, succulent, fine and refreshing. Atmosphere was amazing and what made the experience even more the better was the owner of the restaurant came out and introduced herself. She gave us the story of how she put life back into the establishment and made it worth more the wild. I recommend this restaurant for the food and the atmosphere.

My husband and I decided to have dinner here Sunday night on a whim. This place is amazing. We ordered the scallion pancake, the beef roll, crab rangoons, soup dumplings, pork green beans and orange chicken. The food here tasted so authentic, the staff were super sweet and the food came out fast. My husband is usually a picky eater, and he loved the food. We live an hour away, but we definitely plan to make the trip to come back and eat here. This place is a hidden gem.

Located in the bustling Lake Highlands district, Hello Dumpling is a must-visit spot offering a delectable array of dumplings, soups, and various hot and cold bites. This eatery stands out for its gluten-free options, including handmade rice dumplings and other dishes like beef, chicken or tofu skewers, as well as zucchini noodles for those avoiding gluten. The menu features traditional handmade dumplings filled with an assortment of proteins alongside authentic rice dumplings.
East Dallas has a reason to celebrate! Hello Dumpling is a fantastic restaurant serving Beijing Soul Food . And it’s good for the soul delicious. Olivia Martinez welcomed me and walked me through the menu. I ordered the Shanghai Noodles and Eight Steamed pork dumplings. Handmade noodles and dumplings are a work of love and art. Designed and seasoned to perfection. Every selection is an Epicurean delight. The restaurant is super clean and inviting. The order station and menu are easy to navigate. You can peer into the kitchen open window off the dining room. It’s easy to see why Guy Fieri recently featured Hello Dumpling on Diners,Drive-ins and Dives 2025 If you love this cuisine. You won’t find a better restaurant for twice the price. She has opened another location at Central Expressway at Walnut Hill Lane Put this one on your Must try list. See you there!

The parking is a little hectic but cute little restaurant. I went Saturday and tried dumpling for the first time. It was family friendly even without a kids menu. The service was great. Even though its an order get a number and the items will be brought to your table type of establishment. We sat near the kitchen. The kids enjoyed watching the kitchen staff cook the food. I had the chicken and mushroom dumplings, shrimp pan seared dumplings , the short rib noodles and crispy basil chicken. I did not like the boiled dumpling. It was a personal performance due to the texture. The panseared were amazing. The noodle soup was bland. It didn’t have much flavor. The short rib in the soup was amazing. I wish I could have just ordered that. The broth and everything was just there. & the star of the show was the basil chicken! It was very good, my children loved it and so did it. I will return and recommend to anyone looking to try out a new place.

There are many reasons to go to Hello Dumpling in East Dallas. The number one reason is because of Chef June Chow's amazing dishes. Which also caught the attention of Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives who announced to the world how amazing her restaurant Hello Dumpling is. See season 51 episode 6 2025. Many of us have been eating here long before Guy's visit but it just confirms what we all knew June's dishes are uniquely delicious!! Great food for the soul and the pocket book. I have tried practically everything on the menu and it is ALL GOOD! Here is what I highly recommend first time. Peking Noodle with Pork-Insanely delicious, sweet, savory, spicy! Shrimp with zucchini dumplings!! Jasmine raspberry tea with mango pearls. If June is not busy ask to to speak with her. She loves to hear how much you enjoy her food! 10 out of 10 highly recommend 😋

my first time going, and I was absolutely blown away. the atmosphere is amazing. I love the art and the plants and the nice small, intimate homey feel that it has, and for me being a vegetarian, I was very impressed with the vegetarian options that they had available without sacrificing on flavor and quality. It was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be going back multiple times.

Awesome prices, friendly workers! Hunan ribs were my favorite—delicious broiled on sauce. The braised beef noodle soup was also next level—very very rich and savory broth. Nothing was too spicy, which I appreciate. And you can get extra chili oil on the side to kick it up a notch!

First time in and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome from Olivia. She walked us through the menu and we ordered 6 dishes. Everything came out pretty quickly and tasted fresh! I will definitely come again next time I'm in the area. Tip: try to Taiwanese shaved ice! The triple mango one was delicious and refreshing.

Garden Restaurant is a Chinese eatery located in Garland, offering a variety of delicious Asian cuisine including Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. The restaurant is known for its dim sum menu, available all day and night, with cart service during luncheon hours. Visitors have praised the wonderful food and pleasant dining experience, highlighting the attractive scents and flavors of the dishes. Some popular items include stir-fried tofu with lemongrass.
We recently dined at this dim sum place and were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was for such an affordable price. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a simple yet inviting atmosphere—perfect for casual meals or family get-togethers. The dim sum was flavorful and fresh, and the menu had a wide variety of choices without being overwhelming. What really stood out was the service—staff were attentive, polite, and very accommodating. There was a small mix-up with our bill, as something we didn’t order ended up being added. But when we pointed it out, they were very apologetic and handled it professionally. They even offered to let us take the item home instead of canceling it, which we appreciated. It turned out to be delicious too, so no regrets there! Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for tasty dim sum that won’t break the bank, with clean surroundings and excellent customer service, this is a spot worth checking out.

February 2025 Came here for the daily lunch special. Nowadays, not many restaurants offer lunch specials. This restaurant remain the few. Aside from the fried flounder which was not fresh but the crispness camouflage the taste. Unless you eaten fresh fish often, you may not identified the freshness. However, the beef was good and sweet sour ribs were very tasty. Regardless, the lunch offering provides great values and portion. Will return regardless. February 2025 Return in a month and brought a couple guests here. Ordered string beans and sweet and sour ribs. Delicious as usual and great value for lunch special.

Highly recommended! The food here is excellent and perfectly seasoned—finally, a place that doesn't over-salt! The portions are huge; we had a party of 12 and still had plenty. We especially loved the duck bao, and the owner was incredibly generous, bringing extra bao to the table for everyone. Great value for the price.

We have been here for Dim Sum, which is very good. They have the carts and the people bring the carts by and you can either get the food they have on their cart or wait for one of the other carts. They food is very delicious and well made. The service is outstanding. We also have tried the Peking Duck off the menu with buns and they make a soup out of the bones. The duck was very tasty and the soup was delicious. The presentation of the duck is very nice. We enjoy this restaurant very much and will return again. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. The associates working here are very nice and will make sure you get what you need.

It’s my birthday I called to order baked lobster with cheese. It turned out to be fried lobster. They did not make it clear on the phone when I ordered that they only make fried lobster. And they refused to communicate and correct it. I paid for $80 for this. It such a bad experience and it’s sad that I go to this restaurant almost every single week for dim sum.

This time I went for a birthday party and dinner time and it wasnt dim sum. Surprising the dishes were so good🔥🔥🔥 Lobster fried rice, shrimp fried ball and Peking duck were the top 3 that were going fast we ordered 2 of each in total 😅

Tried dim sum on a Sunday morning for brunch. Very hit and miss taste, more on the miss side. The chicken feet especially were not fresh and tasted sour. Ordered an iced coffee and it came in a styrofoam cup and was leaking from a hole, asked for a new one and their first idea was to just give me a new cup, even though half of the drink had spilled out already. We tried to order an Ala cart item and the waitress walked away before we finished. Overall would not recommend.

One of the better dim sum restaurants in and around Dallas. Pretty big restaurant with ample seating capacity. A very exhaustive menu with a great dim sum offering. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The only downside is that some of the employees can hardly speak any English and you’d have trouble with your queries or recommendations.

Yao Fuzi Cuisine is a high-end restaurant that offers a fusion of creative Chinese cooking with French and Italian influences. The elegant yet casual ambiance, marked by dramatic red walls and tablecloths, sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The menu boasts a wide array of choices, featuring traditional Chinese dishes alongside specialty drinks. One standout dish recommended by patrons is the crispy beef, known as their signature dish.
I visited this place for the first time and loved it. The atmosphere inside is awesome - dimmed lights, fish tank, authentic decoration. I ordered jellyfish and duck as a food and a Copper Rose cocktail. Everything was spot on. Jellyfish was crunchy, juicy and had a vibrant taste. The duck was extremely juicy, this was probably the first time I actually enjoyed a duck. The cocktail was just fine. The prices here are on the higher end, but considering the food quality, I think this is fine for a special occasion.

Fantastic meal at Yao Fuzi in Plano! We had such a great dining experience—from the flavorful food to the excellent service. The jalapeño chicken was packed with heat and flavor, while the Kung Pao chicken was perfectly savory with just the right amount of spice and crunch. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, and paired beautifully with the dipping sauces. To top it off, we enjoyed a glass (or two) of a smooth 2021 FZI Pinot Noir—great wine selection! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the evening even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for elevated Chinese cuisine in Plano!

Genuinely really great Chinese food! I was a little skeptical after seeing so many dishes from other Asian cuisines on the menu, but whoever the cook is likely is just a great cook in general. I ordered the Stir Fried Green Beans, Pan Fried Duck with Mandarin Sauce, and Yao Fuzi's Fried Rice. The green beans are the best I've managed to find in the DFW area. A rare case of them actually being cooked properly with a crunchy texture and great flavor. The Duck was delicious and cooked excellently. It was melt in your mouth tender with perfectly rendered fat. I only wish it was seasoned slightly more, but it seems like they want you to really rely on the Mandarin sauce, which was good. I guess the fried rice, which was their own style, was the least outstanding. It doesn't really seem to have a lot of components and looks really homogenously yellow at first glance. The flavor was good but not as good as the other two dishes.

This was my very first visit to this establishment. PB has been here before several years ago and told me that it’s fancy and food was good. My hair was messy, bc it’s been raining and yucky and have been running errands since the morning. We were seated right away by a nice hostess lady. Our server(older Chinese woman with a short hair)was very short and abrupt kept coming back every few seconds to take our order when in fact I hadn’t had time to look over the menu. She was very impatient even after I told her this was my first time coming here. When we decided to order and I told her I wanted Za Jiang noodles, but didn’t want pork, she said pork was already in a sauce. I didnt even want to ask her if I could have it with different sauce with no meat, bc I knew she wasn’t even going to accommodate me. I told her PB wants a big bowl of egg drop soup and she said “we don’t do that!”. She said it’s small or medium and comes with a meal, so we got 2 medium and I gave him mine. We ordered shrimp and crab fried rice. My crab fried rice was decent, but PB’s shrimp fried rice was bland, 4 shrimp and lots of peas and carrots and he didn’t like it. He put soy sauce on his fried rice like the White guy from the movie, Joy Luck Club, but it still was bland. How do you mess up shrimp fried rice in this fancy, expensive Chinese eatery? The impatient lady didn’t serve us anymore and we got another one. She looked poisoned each time he asked for Coke. I got hot sauce from a nice male server and the hot oil was very hot! The only nice thing the female server did was to put my food in a container. No smile, nothing. I felt that those 2 female servers were very snobbish towards us from the beginning and I don’t appreciate to be treated in a such way, especially this is a so-called high end Chinese restaurant. I find their behavior to be very unprofessional and unpleasant. They were very unfriendly and unwelcome and I really didn’t enjoy the dining experience because of them. Besides that, I’m glad I got to experience how they treated us with snobbery, so we know not to return. We will continue to go to Zhang’s Asian Bistro Kitchen where we’re welcome, staff/owner are nice and food is excellent.
Hanahime1027 — Google review
Verdict: felt the place was too overpriced for they’re serving. Here’s what we got: Apps: - Blue Crab and Cheese Wontons: very little blue crab and cheese. We could mainly taste the crispness of the wonton - Spicy Ahi Tuna with Asian Pear Summer Rolls: all we could taste here was lettuce and tuna and mainly the lettuce. Entrees: - Crispy beef: good but not worth $34 - Fuzi prawn: way too sweet. Side: - lo mein: For $9, I expected way more noodles than what we got. In fact, for that price, I would’ve expected the lo mein to include vegetables as well. The restaurant itself was dimly lit and had thoughtful decor, but I don’t think that should be reasoning for higher pricing. Our server was kind, but service overall was slow.

One of the best restaurants in DFW. If you’re within 1 hour of Yao Fuzi it’s worth the drive. With such an expansive menu, it’s incredible that everything can be so good. Usually great food is at restaurants with like 10 things to eat. Here, there’s a huge selection and everything is fresh and delicious. You can’t miss the Crispy Beef or Fuzi Prawn. We come here once a week and bring friends whenever we can. It’s basically a Plano institution. Friendly staff, friendly service, and absolutely delicious food.

First time to try this place for lunch. I ordered the mapo tofu and the Za jiang Mian noodles (reminded me of Korean black bean noodles). The Mapo Tofu was very good! My two dishes were not lunch optional. My friends had the lunch special jalapeno chicken, Singapore noodles, sesame chicken, and Gen Yao's chicken. Everyone enjoyed their food. I don't mind coming back to try some of their other dishes.

Hello all, we found this place on Google maps. Thought we'd give it a try. Wife and I came here for lunch and received a great experience. We were greeted before the host guided us to our table. Monkey King Noodle Company is a lively and casual restaurant that offers traditional Chinese street food, including soups, noodles, and dumplings. The restaurant aims to recreate the experience of enjoying street food in Taiwan and China. They provide a nice variety of Chinese dishes made to order. One popular dish is the spicy beef noodle soup, which features slow-braised beef shank, fresh herbs, and house-made noodles. Customers can also observe the process of hand-spinning noodles while enjoying their meal.
I had the hot and spicy beef soup. The noodles were good. Over all great for the price point. Broth had lots of flavor and spice. I all had the orange chicken I was underwhelmed by the dish rice was cold and the chicken was dry but over not bad. Cucumber salad was brilliant it was Very fresh and flavorful. Strawberry lemonade is aust go to drink here.

This is a frequent visit for me and the food is always good. I usually get the Dan Dan noodles as it the most amazing dish there imo. Today I wanted to try the Taiwanese nuggets and they were really good. The venue is small, and if you have a small child 0-2 there are no high chairs. The atmosphere is more like a noodle bar, than a restaurant. I love the food and location so none of those are issues for me. Back to the food… as I mentioned I get the Dan Dan noodles with a 4 or 5 spice rating it’s a good amount of spice to enjoy but nothing that will make you regret life choices for 48 hours or so. The portions are generous and it is packed with lots of flavor. The nuggets I ordered are seasoned with salt and I hint of a spice but I quite put my finger on it. They are not spicy at all I have a 1 year old that ate them up and really enjoyed them. I have had the chicken noodle dish but it was not my favorite but it would be a good choice for those that want more of a traditional soup when they are not in the mood for Asian cuisine but want to be with the crowd.

I ordered from Post Masters, but the food was disappointing compared to their photos online. You don't receive a lot of meat on the orange chicken. I also found the dumplings lacked soup inside and dried out on the top and soggy on the bottom. As well as, the noodles for the beef stir fry was overcooked. The flavors on the orange chicken and beef stir fry was good. Wish they hadn't just dropped a tablespoon of crushed pepper spice on the top without mixing it. It unbalanced the flavor because when it arrived it had crusted and could not be mixed in.

Ordered through Uber eats. Food was tasty and fresh. Order quantity received didn’t match the description. One order of egg rolls says 4 pieces, we only received 3. I requested 5/10 spice level and it was pretty hot to me so I’d recommend choosing a lower amount if you don’t want to feel the burn! Will try again.

I’ve ordered from here plenty of times for delivery, but for my first time dining in, I would absolutely do it again. The front cashier was pretty cool and kind about the sauces. The food is bomb as usual, but was sad the soup dumplings were sold out when I got there. Highly recommend the beef noodle soup and soup dumplings if they’re available.

Our family and I are here visiting Dallas and our hotel was located right across from the at@t discovery district. We had a chance to visit these eateries and we thought that the place was awesome. Although my family enjoyed their meals from other locations, I on the other hand didn’t. I decided to order from this place and so I had the beef stir fry, with a side of cucumber salad and pork spring rolls. I mean you can pretty much look at the picture and see why I gave 1⭐️. The beef stir fry had a lot of black pepper in it yet it was very bland in taste. The pork spring rolls tasted like there’s a mix banana in it which was kind of a weird combination. I make cucumber salad(Asian style)all the time because both of my son and husband loves cucumber. This cucumber salad looked like cucumber soup. Yuk!!!🤮🤮it looked red and oily and not taste. Was very disappointing.

Nestled in a suburban shopping strip, Mahjong Chinese Kitchen is a delightful find for those seeking modern Cantonese cuisine. This intimate eatery boasts an inviting patio perfect for outdoor dining and offers a full bar alongside an array of dishes that range from delectable dim sum to vibrant stir-fries.
By far our new favorite resturant. Since being introduced to this place we have been here 4 times. We have yet to find another place like this in Plano or vicinity. The service here is amazing, everyone here is SO friendly. Two gentlemen who look like brothers and two ladies who look like sisters. They seem to take great pride in this place and it shows. The ambiance of this place is great. Mahjong tiles on the walls reminds me of my mother playing mahjong in the early 80s. Very well done! On this particular night we ordered the chicken garlic dumplings which were amazing to start as well as some hot and sour soup in individual bowls. The soup was hot and had just enough spice to give you a kick of power after each sip. Rolled into some Moo shu chicken which was amazing and some combo fried rice. One of the family members has an onion allergy so they were kind to accomodate us on all dishes. The chicken was all white meat and very nicely done. You know how sometimes you eat at chinese restaurants and the chicken seems wok warmed up... not here! This place only has about 12 tables so reservations are recommended. It appears some of the locals eat here so it fills up fast. Next time will try the walnut chicken and the lobster. A++++ will be back A+++++ for the service A++++++ for the cleanliness and quality of food.

We had excellent attentive service. Everything came out hot and delicious. We all enjoyed the crab rangoon. Wonton soup was tasty and lobster dumpling soup was also good. We ended up with leftovers and the staff boxed it up for us.

This place has been one of my favorite for last 10 years, providing a pleasant dining experience. The food, though straightforward, consistently delivers satisfying flavors. Its ambiance warm and comfortable. You'll find this location ideal if you appreciate Chinese food in a family-friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this place for a good lunch.

Visiting from out of town and found this wonderful restaurant on Google maps. You will not be disappointed with the overall experience. Atmosphere is great, not a loud restaurant, staff is friendly and attentive, food comes out quick and is amazing. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. Would recommend if you are looking for great Chinese food.

Best contemporary Chinese restaurant in Plano and North Dallas. Great classics with a cozy and chic atmosphere and friendly staff. I also have great respect for their working hours as a local business owner. Keep in mind Lunch is only served till 2:30pm and you must order before 2pm otherwise the kitchen will be closed. Will be going back again

JS Chen's DimSum & BBQ is a popular chinese restaurant that serves up dim sum and barbecue pork, chicken, and duck specialties all day. They also have a Chinese New Year Harmony Feast available as a special culinary experience.
First time in the Dallas metro area and I decided to come here cause I was craving dim sum. Coming from NYC Chinatown my standards are pretty high, let me tell you this place didn’t disappoint. I was worried about the current rating but they definitely deserve more credit. Everything came out quick as most Chinese food spots are and absolutely delicious. This place is a solid 8.4/10. Definitely try the roast duck.

Food was good. The problem was the servers. Seems none of them know what the ingredients in the food? The environment wasn't very clean though....

If your up for some DimSum this is a great place to go. Food is delicious and the waitresses have always been nice to us whenever we go here. Services is fast as well and we always felt well taken cared of here.

Today we had hands-down one of the best Dim Sum meals here that we’ve had in North Texas in years, and it was a great value too. We stopped in on a Saturday around 11:30 and were immediately greeted, seated, and asked what we’d like to drink. Food carts were already circulating with lots of fresh, hot foods. The restaurant was well-staffed and staff were attentive and quick to offer help and request additional food items from the kitchen. We enjoyed baked BBQ pork buns, steamed crystal shrimp dumplings (har gao), steamed shrimp and pork dumplings (siu mai), chicken feet with black bean sauce, taro pie, turnip cake, steamed Chinese broccoli, fried sesame ball, egg custard tarts, stuffed bean curd skin, shrimp wrapped with rice noodles (Cheong Fun), and pineapple buns. All food items on the were very fresh and perfectly cooked when they arrived at our table. It was clear that everything was prepared fresh in-house here-the items were all very flavorful, had lots of filling, and were well-presented. The egg custard tarts were a standout-the filling was a nice smooth texture and the crust was thin, light, and flaky. The pineapple buns were also exceptionally prepare-bread was so soft, topping was the right texture, and the filling was delicious. The taro pie was also outstanding-there was plenty of savory pork filling and the outside was just the right thickness and had a light crispy crunch. We also ordered Singapore style noodles-the entree portion was generous with plenty of shrimp, BBQ pork, eggs, and veggies with the rice noodles. I don’t have more photos to share because we ate the food too quickly. All of our food was outstanding on our visit, and we enjoyed the nice ambience, as the restaurant was nicely decorated and though it was very busy, it was still quiet enough for us to talk, and staff were attentive throughout our visit. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Honestly, this place hits the spot every time. The food comes out hot, the flavors are on point, and you can tell it’s freshly made. I’m obsessed with their egg tarts — I could eat a whole plate by myself. Staff is always nice even when it’s busy. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to.

Asian fusion restaurant
Restaurant
Cris and John is a Vietnamese street food restaurant located in North Texas, offering a variety of dishes such as pho, ramen burritos, banh mi, tacos, buns, dumplings, bao buns and chicken wings. The menu features reasonably priced items like $6 dumplings (served five to an order), $3.75 bao buns and $8 per half-dozen chicken wings.
Finally tried out Cris and John, and we were beyond impressed! Even with the thunderstorm and the long lines inside and outside, we didn’t hesitate and it was absolutely worth it. We waited about 25 minutes in line, and every minute was worth it! Their passion for blending Vietnamese and Mexican flavors shines through in every dish. Each item we tried was packed with mouthwatering fusion that perfectly balanced both cuisines. Hands down, one of the best fusion spots in DFW, highly recommend!
F H — Google review
The hype is real, the place is great! Be prepared to wait in line, a lot of people want to eat here so keep that in mind, the place has gone viral a couple times, and for good reason! Everything we had was amazing, go with a platter, it feed 3-4 people! Best people to go with is people that like sharing food, try everything that comes in the platter. They also have great drinks! It’s a Vietnamese-Mexican fusion, the place is really clean and well organized, smells great in there!
Yon R — Google review
Wow! What an awesome concept for fusion food. SO good! The Cariga Yellow curry flautas with rice were definitely the star of the show, super flavorful and so good. The Birria tacos were pretty good but they could use some flavor. The fried chicken tacos were also pretty good.
Stephanie E — Google review
The wait was two hours! You need to know what you want before reaching the register because once you’re seated, if you decide to order another drink or item, you’ll have to get back in line. I watched a party of two get seated at a four-person table while a two-person table sat empty and just needed to be cleaned. The line stretched all the way to the business next door, yet there were several empty tables waiting to be wiped down. There was only one person cleaning, which really slowed the flow of seating. When we asked our waitress for ketchup and more napkins, it took quite a while. One staff member mentioned that service was delayed because people were going on lunch breaks. For how busy it gets, they really need better coverage. Having one or two floaters—one for the kitchen and another for the dining area—would make a big difference on days like this. This restaurant would benefit from a reservation system or table service setup. I’d visit again, but probably not until next year when the TikTok rush dies down or they improve their system. The staff was friendly, but they ask for tips at the register after a two-hour wait, and since the servers only deliver food with no added service, I don’t think tipping is necessary. The food was good and served hot, which helped make up for the long wait.
J J — Google review
The food was good. We had the chicken pho burrito and it was heaped ion with emphasis Hoison and Siracha sauce. Tasty. The restaurant definitely has a street food stand vibe. Busy, alive and loud. If however you're looking for great traditional pho, there are better places. Pho I feel is all about the broth and with attention on their fusion, emphasis to get traditional stuff right gets diluted. However, I still think it's a great place for the asian fusion street food experience

Everything here is truly 10/10 and beyond! They absolutely nailed the Viet-Mex concept and brought it to life in such a unique and flavorful way. Every bite was incredible, and you can tell a lot of passion went into the food. We highly recommend trying the Phorrito and the Special Pho, but honestly everything on the menu is worth a try. Such an amazing experience—I can’t wait to come back!

I was pleasantly surprised with everything from beginning to end. Upon arrival it was busy, but the flow of the line and great customer service eased my anxiety. I’m back on my vegan journey and I must say the flavors from the vegan platter was amazing. Everything was cooked with perfection with a mouth full of delicious flavors. My daughter ordered a platter that also included quite a of food for a good price. I will definitely be trying again.

Nestled in the vibrant Trinity Groves area, Sum Dang Good Chinese is a delightful spot that brings a fresh twist to traditional Chinese cuisine. With an ambiance infused with '80s music and an impressive selection of craft cocktails, this restaurant offers more than just great food; it’s an experience! The menu is a feast for the senses, featuring everything from beloved classics like General Tso's Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork to exciting monthly specials that include unique ramen and dumplings.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sum Dang Good Chinese, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. But the real star of the show was the food—absolutely delicious! From the flavorful dishes to the impeccable presentation, every bite was a delight. If you're craving some top-notch Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving Sum Dang Good Chinese a try. You won't be disappointed!

Customer service is top tier. Both the hostess and manager are extremely nice; however, I wish I could say the same for the food. I love Chinese cuisine so I was super excited to try this place; however after paying around $15-$16, I was left with hardly any protein (the amount was less than half the Togo box) to which tasted very poor. And a full cup of rice which I suppose is nice if that is what you enjoy. They even only gave me one broccoli piece! I ended up returning the food however, for the amount of cost, I was hoping for bigger portions and greater quality in food
Nancy E — Google review
Headed over to Trinity Groves and realized most of the restaurants are not opened so we were limited to Beto and Son and Sum Dang Good Chinese. Chose to try this. The reviews were on point about a 3 star review type and the type of service given to customers. Got there and it took a long time for us to get some water. Ordered the combination dumpling and lo mein. There was only one dumpling that I liked and unfortunately I didn’t know what type it was. The dumplings were wrapped in different colors. The best was the lo mein but it was average for a Chinese place. Also there was automatically a 20% gratuity included which the server quickly brushed over. We addressed it with the server who didn’t inform other members of our party.
Aslee V — Google review
The only reason this is getting three stars is because of how professional the management was handling the situation of most of the food we ordered being horrible. The best and in my opinion only edible thing on the menu are the hand pulled noodles. The crab ragoons came out cold in the middle, the ramen was bland, the pork dumplings were bland, the soup dumplings had almost no soup. Our server was clearly very inexperienced with customer service and attempted to make excuses for the food being bad- didn’t get good service. The manager was very professional and she took off the bad food we didn’t eat- which is why we are rating 3 stars but the food (with the exception of hand pulled noodles) is a 1 star..

Ordered on uber eats for the first time today 03/13/2025. The crispy spicy beef - says it’s pan fried, not breaded! It also barely looks/taste like beef. barely “crispy” for something breaded. Photos for expectations added. General Tso’s Chicken - also breaded without a description. The box was half full. There was no spice in the cooking, they just threw peppers at the bottom of the to go box, added the soft chicken, and topped it with 2 pieces of broccoli. Everything was cold. It taste like frozen food that you throw on a pan.

Fisrt time here, and unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. The waiter was rude from the moment we walked in. When she brought one of our orders, it was the wrong item. When we corrected her, she said no, you ordered this, pulled out her little computer, and tried to correct us. But there were 4 adults who heard chicken dumplings, not pork buns. Anyways, this was a bad experience, and we just decided to leave because our waiter did not treat us with kindness and respect.

Omg! I love this place, food was delicious and drink are so good. There’s the frozen dragon fruit drink was delicious, I even got tajin on the rim. Also I got this short rib and was awesome. Fortune House Chinese Cuisine, a new addition to the Lower Greenville area in Dallas, offers an elegant dining experience reminiscent of Shanghai. The restaurant's beautiful decor, complete with hanging lanterns and open kitchen, sets the stage for some of the best Chinese food offerings in the city. Guests can indulge in favorites like dumplings, Pork Belly, and Crab Rangoons.
My husband and I sat for a lunch reservation at 3:45pm in the garden room. It wasn’t too busy, and we were seated immediately. Good to note that they do allow for a 15 minute grace period for reservations! The atmosphere was so beautiful. The music and lighting was really good actually. Our waitress, Grace, was so lovely and very helpful. She answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions and tips on how best to enjoy our meal! The September featured cocktail, Mizunara Sour, was so good and tart and refreshing. The star of the show was the Black Truffle soup dumplings with an honorable mention to the Shanghai Pork Noodles. We would absolutely return and would recommend to others!

Made a reserve for dinner. Restaurant seems to want timely customers as I received a 30-minute arrival confirmation call. A strict 1 and half hour table stay was communicated. Parking can be difficult to find in this area so a walk to the restaurant may be necessary. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt. They navigated us through the menu options. Slight wait on the food but around normal timing. Each of the entrees was flavorful and delicious. However, the rice seemed a bit dry. Asked for additional napkins and did not receive them. All in all, the experience was great, and the food portions were satisfying.

Order the spicy mapo tofu with minced pork and the pan fried pork buns. Got it on doordash, food got to me still hot and fresh! The mapo tofu is great, not super spicy maybe a 2/5 level of heat, so enough to give you a little taste but not enough to make you sweat over your dinner. Tofu was perfect, probably the best cooked tofu I've had in a while, super soft and melt in your mouth kind of texture. The pork buns were also outstanding, generous portions, soft fluffy bun with a crispy bottom with a juicy, juicy filling. Really have no complaints, maybe could get more spice in the mapo tofu if you are feeling brave but I'm on a business trip right now so I will happily enjoy the 2/5 spice for now haha.

Fortune House was such a pleasant surprise during our late night out in Lower Greenville! They are open until 1 am on the weekends and they have Happy Hour from 3-6 pm and Reverse Happy Hour from 9 pm - 12 am every single day, including weekends!! This is such a steal, as nowadays you rarely hear of spots offering happy hour deals Fri-Sun. A huge shoutout to Amber, hands down one of the friendliest and most welcoming bartenders we’ve met in a long time. She made us feel right at home, asked about our preferences, and came up with some amazing drink recommendations. (Highly recommend the Lychee Martini—so refreshing yet strong!) She’s clearly very experienced, and her presence along with the relaxed yet lively ambiance made it the perfect way to wrap up our Friday night. Will definitely return!

We’ve never had a poor experience here in the past, but today was ridiculous. We waited about 20 minutes for one beer to come to the table. The shot that I ordered took Like 25 or 30 minutes so I ended up canceling the order. The food is still pretty good, I have no complaints about that. But from the hostess to the server, to the manager that just stood in the corner and did absolutely nothing the entire time, but be on her phone, this whole interaction was ridiculous. I don’t know when or if we will be back.

Food is great. If you’re expecting spicy though, don’t get your hopes up. My one complaint is service and restroom cleanliness. Service - why didn’t I get the necessary tools needed to eat? Spoons for dumplings, silverware for dessert, asked for sparkling water (pellegrino specifically) and the bar back responded ‘I’m just the bar back.’ Restroom cleanliness- restroom always feels dirty. I went once a year ago and felt the same recently. Pee all over seat, no paper towels to wipe hands, floor disgusting, trash over flowing, etc.

China Blue offers an extensive menu dedicated to dumplings, featuring options like shrimp, pork, chicken, beef, veggie, and soup-filled varieties. Additionally, the restaurant serves wonton soup with choices such as spicy shrimp wontons or fried cheese in broth. Customers have enjoyed dishes like spring rolls and various types of dumplings. The ambiance is described as charming and reminiscent of a different country.
China Blue is located in a super convenient, busy plaza where you can find everything from groceries to bubble tea to salons. There’s always plenty of easy parking, which makes it a stress-free place to stop by for lunch or dinner. The food here is consistently amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I’ve tried several dishes on the menu, and everything has been great, but the Guo Bao Pork is hands-down my favorite. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the sauce is just perfect. The service is also top-notch. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and always happy to offer recommendations if you’re not sure what to try. Insider tip: If you plan to visit regularly (which you probably will after trying it once), be sure to purchase one of their gift cards — they offer a huge discount, and it’s such a good deal that it pays for itself quickly. Highly recommend this place whether you’re dining in with friends, grabbing takeout, or celebrating a special occasion. You won’t be disappointed!

Great interior design of Chinese style. The Zucchini & Shrimp Dumplings and Dry Pot Cauliflower tasted so delicious; highly recommended. China Blue Soup Dumplings was just fine, as the dumpling skin was quite thick and too soggy. The Fried Pork Intestine tasted good but quite pricey.

This is a decent restaurant with good service. I was a bit confused by the menu though because they had everything translated in Chinese and English but were serving in English only...that's just a minor comment . The atmosphere was great and the food was decent. We ordered fried Bao, Guo Bao Pork, eggplant with fried pork and the Taiwan Fried Chicken thigh. All of the cuisines were good except the Taiwan Fried Chicken thigh. That one was simply blandish. Otherwise the rest were great 👍

I love the authentic flavors at this restaurant. The dishes taste like they stay true to traditional northeastern style Chinese cooking. Ingredients are fresh, and the seasoning is quite good without being too oily. The menu offers a good variety, and two times I’ve tried so far has been consistent in quality. It’s a solid choice for homemade Chinese food as a comfort for homesickness.

October 2024 Enjoyed this restaurant with different kind of Chinese cuisine. The honey glazed ribs were really delicious and tender. They do have some signature dishes recommended highly to try. The dumplings were always a little pricey. May 2025 Returned visit for lunch special. Enjoyed the egg drop soup. 宫保鸡 taste strange on the sweet side, not my expected. House special beef was pretty good with the green pepper.

Nice decorations restaurant but the food were pretty sweet for walnut shrimp and orange chicken. The beef flat noodles not flavorful enough, soup dumplings and crispy soft shell crab were very good! (As usual forget to take pictures before eating 😁)

First time here. Service was very slow and when we first walked in (wasn’t that busy) we stood there at the hostess desk waiting to get seated. Two workers walked past us several times and didn’t even acknowledge us. Not even a “just a minute”. After waiting like 7 mins awkwardly I asked do we just seat ourselves? Then they acknowledged us and said to wait a little longer. Now, as an Asian, I know service at some places can be challenging at Asian restaurants. Now let’s get to the food. Soup dumplings were ok. Mongolian beef was good, but a little too sweet Crispy beef was crispy, but also too sweet for me. Green beans were good Crispy dumpling was the best dish I would say Yao Fuzi’s soup dumplings, Mongolian beef and crispy beef are my favorite place for those dishes.
David K — Google review
Food was AMAZING! I originally stumbled upon this place from a tik tok i saw. Boy oh boy was I in for a TREAT. The food was absolutely DELICUOUS. I had the pan fried Blue boa buns, spring rolls, and crispy fish. Now I’m not sure what the name of the sauce (will find out on my next trip 😉) was but my friend and I HAD to take some TO GO. My friend ordered the spicy cabbage and spicy fried shrimp and that paired with the steamed rice was a great meal in itself! The ONLY negative thing I have to say bout china blue is they were out of the peach flavored Soju( which was my first time trying and a suggested flavor) so I was disappointed about that but QUICKLY GOT OVER IT when the food came out 😂 Dalier was our server and she was very nice and accommodating. I cannot wait till my next visit to try more menu items.

Mulan Noodle and Grill, nestled in Carrollton, is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic dumplings. With an impressive selection of over 15 varieties, this eatery stands out among its peers in the Dallas area. Diners rave about the generous portion sizes and bold flavors that truly satisfy. For instance, their Jalapeno Stir Fry Chicken lunch special comes with fried rice, hot & spicy soup, potstickers, and an egg roll—enough to fill you up!
I came here for the lunch by chance and tried the beef with broccoli. The meat was fresh and tasty, and you can pair it with rice, fried rice or noodle. The meal also included spring rolls and soup, which made it very satisfying. I also tried the chicken “ soup dumplings”— full of rich broth and absolutely delicious!! I’ll definitely coming back to try different things!!

Loved the name so had to try it out! Also, any Chinese restaurant that have soup dumblings, I am going to try them! Their pork soup dumplings were good but their crab soup dumplings were phenomenal! I would have to say that it was the perfect wrapper, filling, soup ratio! And they had chili oil that actually was flavorful for dipping along with vinegar and soy sauce. Now the curry dry noodles were overly salty and the pork belly didn’t have great flavor or texture. Also, the soups were very salty. But the dumplings are a must!

Worse Chinese food I ever had. Beef is so dry and salty. Port is even worse… I could go to Panda Express to get better dishes…. Meat is not fresh. No one wants to eat it. I had to go to other place to pickup dinner.

A small Chinese restaurant which is actually quite good. The place is modern, comfortable with lots of noodles and dumpling options. There are also good variety of entrees as well. The sweet and sour chicken and braised tofu were delicious. Soup dumplings were not bad. Glad we discovered this restaurant today.

Juicy dumplings were good. Orange beef was way too overpowering with orange zest. Crab Rangoons and hot and sour soup were the star of the show. These little pan fried bao buns were delicious.

The soup dumplings are amazing! 🥟 The skin is thin and delicate, the filling is juicy and flavorful, and every bite is full of fresh, rich broth. They are always served hot and freshly steamed. Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had — highly recommended!

Wow. Very impressed with the flavor, portion size, and selection of food from Mulan Noodle and Grill. I ordered the lunch version of the Jalapeno Stir Fry Chicken (with fried rice and hot & spicy soup). It came with two potstickers and one egg roll. It was a TON of food. I ate the whole thing and should have split it into two portions. When they say "spicy," they really mean spicy. Not so overwhelming hot, but the plastic is present. The spice doesn't overpower the depth of flavor. I would eat here again and j would recommend this place.

Got our first order to go and was pleasantly surprised! The food was really good and their egg rolls were really good. At first glance I thought they looked a little heavy but, a cautious bite revealed they were very light and tasty. Never experienced that before and it'll become a standard addon to any future order. Highly recommend!!

Their soup dumplings are excellent, love Tuesday soup dumpling special for buy 1 get 1 free. We had 4 orders and didn't have to fight for it. The chili fish head is surprisingly good. It is steamed to perfection, not over cooked and layered with Hunan chili sauce, perfect for your taste buds. The string beans are tender with bean sauce and every piece of string bean is flavorful. Had a good experience here. Being a pure vegetarian, I generally stay cautious with Chinese Restaurants, as I generally see eggs added to the dishes (by default). Conversation with the staff at China queen made me very much comfortable regarding veggie dishes. I got veggie dumplings from China queen yesterday night which was really great. Very good ambience and service from the staff. They were really awesome to explain to me the difference between dumplings and buns available. There are a great variety of vegetarian dishes which the restaurant is ready to customize per vegetarian's wishes. I will surely be dining with my family soon

🥟THE BEST SOUP DUMPLINGS in DFW. I’m here as least once every month because it get better every time. You can tell they cooked every dishes with love🥹 the best Chinese fried rice I have ever had, it’s not soggy or oily, flavor is on point and its just so darn delicious. I really want to gate keep this place but they’re the sweetest people and I want them to succeed. I have tried so many Chinese restaurants and this place still is the best ❤️

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. The place was clean and tidy, and the food is amazing. Very flavorful, fairly priced, and large portions. I am glad I decided to stop on in to grab a bite. Chicken lo mein was fantastic and the fried rice is very tasty too. Will be going here again when back in the area.

Saw this place on tiktok and immediately came and we were not disappointed! The soup dumplings, cucumber salad and the house special pan seared pork buns were so amazing!! The staff and environment was perfect for a cute date or family dinner. 10/10 will be coming back again.

Dim sum restaurant
Tian Li Min Dim Sum is a modern and clean restaurant in Dallas that offers a variety of standard dim sum dishes. The menu features reasonably priced items, with most plates costing between $7-8. The service is attentive, and the use of a robot to serve dishes adds to the pleasant dining experience.
Overall, the Dim Sum is really good here. We had a variety of your standard dim sum dishes. My favorites at Tian Li Min were the ham sui gok, shrimp cheung fun, chicken feet, molten custard salted egg buns, and the char sui pastry. One of my favorite dishes in dim sum is ham sui gok, a fried sweet/savory, crispy and glutinous rice dumpling. This was one of the best I've had in Dallas. These came straight from the fryer to our table - very crispy, glutinous, and fresh. The shell was thinner than normal, but contributed to the excellent crisp. The filling was very savory with explosions of umami and pork. The cheung fun had large shrimps and was nicely decorated with gailan. The chicken feet dish was also quite large compared to other establishments, pretty standard flavor-wise. The char sui pastry was very flakey and delicious. Would recommend all. The environment of the restaurant is simple and modern with an upscale feel compared to other dim sum establishments. All of the food items are ordered at the table compared to ordering from a cart, which seems to be fresher. The staff was quite attentive and cared to our table very well. The glasses of water and the teapot we had were never empty. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other items on the menu, also to get more ham sui gok!
Chris T — Google review
If you look at the menu, you could see the prices for dimsum...$7-8 for a plate. The place is clean and modern-looking! Service is good, but it took a while to get attention once we got our orders checked off, although they DID che k on us frequently in the beginning, we just weren't ready yet. We LOVE their robot! It brought out few of our dishes! That was pleasant to see! Food and service was better than JS Chen's Dimsum on Legacy. The cheung fun and bbq pork buns were a lot better. However, the siumai is better at JS. Loved their sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf the crunchy seaweed wrapped squid cakes. Overall, I gave 4 stars because of the expensive pricing. I would definitely come back because of the robot experience, haha!

pretty good, but not my favorite. All the shrimp dishes were good, but all the beef dishes were not. IDK what it is, but the beef had a weird taste. The worst dish was the beef shu mai. I literally almost threw up when I ate it. IDK what was in it, whether it was a spice OR a herb or whatever, it was disgusting and everyone else in my group didn't like it either. I was really disappointed in the xiao long bao. The skin was wayyyyyy too thick and didn't taste good. the fried shrimp ball was delicious and perfectly crispy. The shrimp dumplings were super juicy and I could've eaten more. The sticky rice was good but I wish it had more meat filling. service wise it wasn't the best. Workers were running all over the place and not really attendant. They walked by our table so many times and never offered to give us more water even though we ran out and we could never get a hold of someone to even get our check. might come back in the future but I do think there are better options out there as well.

A solid 4 stars. Pros: decent service for a dimsum restaurant. Good quality food. And no crazy lines in the weekend (unlike Kirin Court). Cons: pricey A few things I tried and what I think about it 1. Abalone shumai: probably their most decent shumai. Decent shumai and the abalone give it a nice touch. 2. Truffle dumpling: it’s pretty much the same dumpling with different topping. I would skip this and stick with abalone shumai. The truffle isn’t very fragrant. I’d suggest adding a touch of truffle oil before serving. 3. Shrimp har gaw (not pictured): pretty solid, big shrimp which is a plus. I’d recommend adding a bit more sesame oil to the filling for more umami. 4. Taro puff with the swan cookie: gimmicky. The swan cookie definitely add a cute appeal but the taste is just okay. 5. Fried shrimp ball: very good. No complaints here. 6. Steamed tofu skin with meat filling: good flavor, tons of meat, decent taste. 7. White rabbit dumpling: skin is too thick, and the filling was a little bland. I don’t recommend getting this. 8. Beef shumai: worse than Kirin Court’s. Not a terrible dish, but also not the most flavorful either. Just okay. The gamey-ness of the beef still presents- I would recommend adding chives & cilantro to bring more freshness. Stick with abalone shumai.

Best dim sum ever in Texas! Even in the US! I’m Cantonese from Guangzhou china, my husband was a chef and we love all gourmet food! This restaurant is authentic Dim sum and so awesome! Love it! We drove all the way from Houston to here lol
Siyun H — Google review
Great dim sum place - fresh and they claimed no MSG in all of their food. Some of them need salt / soy to be added but I prefer it that way then it being too salty anyway! It is slightly more expensive than traditional dim sum place like Kirin but it’s much closer to home and no waiting! We will go back!
Anni L — Google review
This restaurant have the best dim sum in DFW! It’s a little bit pricy but you paid what you get for! The food’s quality is higher than most place I’ve been too. Their service is pretty good too.

dim sum definitely best of Dallas, authentic. best dish is the shrimp noodle roll, thin wrap with big shrimp and veggies dipping in sweet soy sauce. only thing its quite pricey , almost double compared to other dim sum places.

Restaurant
Maxim's Restaurant is a spacious Chinese eatery that offers traditional dishes, dim sum, and a weekday lunch buffet. The restaurant features an impressive array of steamed, fried, baked, and sweet sides served from silver carts that surround your table. The menu includes solid choices like shrimp-topped siu mai and rice noodle rolls, as well as standout items such as the fried taro covered in tempura batter.
Dim sum at its finest! My niece wanted to come here for her 14th birthday. I have a shellfish allergy which typically makes eating Dim sum more of an adventure. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful to avoid an allergic reaction. The food is tasty and fresh!
Emms B — Google review
I eat here fairly often and order off the regular menu. Friendly, quick service. Good portions and fair prices. I recommend the Peking duck (not greasy at all!), Mongolian beef, Chicken with curry, Beef with flat noodles (chow fun) and egg drop soup with minced beef. I had dim sum once and they were perfectly good, but haven't done the buffet.
Donald A — Google review
Party of 4 from out of town. Called ahead to make sure they served dim sum all day just to be safe. When we got there, it was a steady crowd. Got seated pretty quickly. Once at the table, our servers were decent. Food quality was worth it and the options were pretty decent. Would most likely return because the price was great for the amount we had.

They had a nice weekday buffet with a lot of variety. But I went there to try out their Dim Sum menu. I ordered Steamed Beef Meat Balls, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, Bean (Soya) Sheet Roll, Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, Baked BBQ Pork Bun, Steamed Pork Juice Bun, Peking Duck, Baked Sweet Yellow (Custard) Bun. The food was well prepared and tasty. The Peking Duck is comparable to the one served at Fung's Kitchen in Houston. Service was fast. Staff were very hospitable and welcoming. There was a bit of a language barrier and it was difficult to understand their accents but I will never judge a restaurant on such trivial things. Portions were fairly priced. Easy to find a parking spot. They have a stage and the restaurant is big enough for a banquet. Overall, I enjoyed their Dim Sum.
Sumair S — Google review
Dim sum is good if you don't want to wait at Kirin court. It's usually dead at dinner time too. Food is good though. Their waiters are fairly attentive.
Philip P — Google review
Dim sum is the best I can find. The key issue is after dinning here I don't get a MSG headache. Lot of variety. It get a little noisy sunday lunch because they get very busy.
Steve A — Google review
I went in for the lunch buffet at about 1:45. None of the food was fresh. The oil in the sauces had separated. Noodles were dry. Nothing was fresh - at all. I suppose coming in that late in the lunch hour was my mistake (they close at 2:30). I wouldn't go back - ever.
Scott — Google review
Sad experience. The hot and sour soup was congealed, the noodles looked as if it was their third time being served (i.e., cooked, refrigerated, reheated in frying pan and made slightly crunchy from overcooking, then refrigerated and re-served either after microwaving or frying). The tempura chicken was dry and chewy; the one and only pork dish was inedible; and, the kung pao chicken seemed to have been made with those scraps one cuts off when "cleaning" a chicken breast (really hard to chew). The "cooked oysters on the half shell" and the beef dishes did not look as if they would pass a food safety test and looked unappetizing. While the shrimp looked fresh, they had not been deveined or headed, so I did not try them. I came around 1:30pm. The buffet is advertised to last until 2:30.

Tex-Mex restaurant
E Bar Tex-Mex is a vibrant bar and grill in East Dallas that offers a delightful selection of beer, wine, and colorful cocktails. Established by Eddie Cervantes, the restaurant provides an elevated Tex-Mex experience with regional Mexican dishes. The venue boasts a stylish bar, excellent service, and late-night hours for satisfying those post-dinner cravings.
E Bar Tex-Mex is one of my favorite places to eat. I love their chips and salsa and their Tortilla soup is delicious. I got the Tortilla soup and salad. The salad that came with it is more like a Mexican salad, but I am picky with my salad and I cut all of that off. My husband had chicken enchiladas with sour cream and he said it was very good. If you like margaritas, they have the best. All the staff were real nice and our waitress was very nice and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the better hole-in-the-wall Tex-Mex spots I’ve been to. I thoroughly enjoyed the food & experience here! My wife took me here for Father’s Day, and while the outside of the building may not be as inviting, you’re missing a true treat if you don’t go inside. This spot is perhaps better suited for lunch dates, a bar stop on the way home, or a cozy date for you & the misses in the evening. Although there was “families” here during my visit, the space of the restaurant appears more suited for smaller & intimate parties. The workers were very inviting and warm in their service. Food was delicious!! I had the grilled tacos & they were the absolute BOMB!💣 Drinks were solid & refreshing as well! My only complaint is the space of the venue. When it’s packed, it’s packed. But in the end, you work with what you have & boy, E-Bar does just that! I highly recommend!

Our first time in Dallas and all our Uber drivers recommended E Bar. We are so glad we listened to them. The food was delicious. Best salsa on the planet. Our server had great suggestions. If we are ever back in Dallas, E Bar will be a must stop on the trip.

Came here on cinco de mayo for lunch. Our server was so inviting and sweet, she was also super attentive (wish I knew her name). I order the steak fajitas and elote Mexican corn. Baby, everything was a 10/10. I love that this place is such a hidden gem and ducked off. I love supporting small businesses and this place is amazing. I will be coming back, regularly. Oh yeah, the queso was amazing as well! It was even better as leftovers the next day! Highly recommend 🫶🏽

Service was very quick and friendly. Several large screen tvs so great place to watch four games at once if you want. The salsa was delicious. The brisket and carnita tacos were stuffed and delicious, not the absolute best I have ever had but close. The Cob Salad was packed as well including jumbo shrimp, chicken, and bacon. Spent about $40 on two entrees. Money well spent. Will definitely be returning!

This little Tex-Mex restaurant packed a big punch. It was delicious everything from the chips and salsa to the fajitas. Enchiladas beans and rice was excellent. We did have a little bit of a wait, but it was the weekend and at peak time so not to be unexpected. we were able to sit outside in the area with chairs and drink a beer and people watch. We were seated the enclosed patio are which had great air-conditioning and our waitress was Mia . She was a delightful young lady that has an attention for detail and anticipates your needs. She was knowledgeable about the menu and the drink menu. We will definitely be back And have told our friends about this great little gem of a restaurant.

P.F. Chang's is a family-friendly chain that offers unique interpretations of Asian cuisine in a visually striking setting. The service provided by Sydney and Aria was exceptional, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all. The food was expertly prepared and presented, with each dish being visually appealing. Additionally, the Midnight Ritual cocktail stood out as a new favorite. Both Sydney and Aria were attentive to every detail, catering to individual preferences and displaying patience and kindness towards children.
It was strange that the restaurant was empty during lunch time, but that just made the service that much better. The ambiance was great and the waitress was very attentive. I had the Mongolian Trio and it was superb! The crab meat in the crab ragoons is fresh crab meat, so it may be fishy to those that are used to imitation crab. The key lime pie was just perfect. FYI, it does have coconut as a garnish and that isn't on the menu so those allergic are advised. I recommend anyone to eat here.

Wanted some lunch so I came here. Once I entered the male host welcomed me with a smile and asked how my day and how I was doing which was hospitable but when I responded and asked him a question, I was confused when I didn't get an answer. As I was escorted to my seat I asked another question and he turned and smiled with a delay. I then realized he had an earpiece in one ear and a air pod in the other which let me know he wasn't paying attention to anything I was saying which also made his greeting more robotic and distant. After sitting for about a minute, my waitress named Alma greeted me also with a smile and asked what I was drinking. I started with the chicken lettuce wraps which was good but the chicken was a little tough and the sauce be careful, it had a sneaky spicy kick that will open your nostrils if you are congested. I then had the lunch portions of the beef and broccoli which was a lunch portion for a two year old lol. The lunches portion for the Changs spicy chicken was suitable. Both meals were delicious and the egg roll was great, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. My waitress Alma was very attentive and was bringing me refills without asking. Over all it was a good expedient

Was craving pot stickers and hot soup after a Dr. visit and stopped here. I had the: - dumplings 🥟 - soup 🍲 - beer 🍺 The dumplings were perfect, and so was the beer. But the soup was disappointing, kind of lukewarm and not flavorful at all., it taste a bit watered down. Overall loved the atmosphere and menu options so will give it a try another time for sure and do recommend this place.

PF CHANGS FELL OFF, overpriced Panda Express, Pei Wei feeling restaurant. Think it’s better off eating at home. The service was good, Journey was our server she was great. The pomegranate lemonade non alcoholic refresher was excellent. Orange chicken (add seaseme) was passable. Mongolian beef was great per usual. The best part was the green beans. The lo mein was the disappointing felt microwaved, soggy and uninspiring. No matter how much I wanted to eat dinner feel full. The miso glazed salmon wasn’t good. The veggie spring roll wasn’t good. The hot n sour soup was slimy and lukewarm, the chips that go with the soup were stale. The shrimp wasn’t good. Seems to be the only reliable thing is

Let me start by saying that this place is beautiful!!!!!! The husband and wife that run this place are the nicest people I've met in a long time!! The customer service was amazing. I love talking sports with other women and the wife did not disappoint. We ordered the orange chicken plate, Mongolian beef and chicken egg foo young. Everything was great. The food was piping hot when we got home. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food but I'm now a fan of Msy Dragon!!!!
J W — Google review
I ordered the Egg Foo Young and steamed dumplings—0/10. The sauce was completely wrong—overly tangy and sweet. Traditional Egg Foo Young should have the meat and vegetables cooked into the egg patty with a dark, savory gravy served separately. Instead, I got two small soggy, mushy patties drowning in what tasted like orange chicken sauce. The steamed dumplings weren’t any better—bland, rubbery, and clearly overcooked. They desperately needed sauce just to be edible. I paid $30 for this: two soggy patties and six disappointing dumplings. Completely overpriced and not worth it.

First time stopping here, and I was pretty sold from the Google reviews. From the looks it seemed from online that they almost serve everything and anything your typical Chinese restaurant would. The twist is, they add a little uptown touch here 👌. Seems as just the quality and display was all around better than what you'd normally find at your everyday Chinese restaurant. My egg foo young was off the chain, and the pot stickers were to die for!. I anticipated the food being so good, which it was, I ordered a meal to go as I ordered my dine-in meal 😂. Definitely worth 5 stars

We visited this restaurant while on a Dallas getaway. It was new to us and my best friend who lives there. It's located in a popular part of town, so we took advantage of the convenient valet parking immediately next door. The ambience was great! Clean, great music- and the wall decor! Very cozy. The food was simply delicious-- literally the best Asian I'd had in along time, and I particular about my Asian dishes. Each of our portions were enough for two days of eating. The appetizers were a meal in and of themselves. I was stuffed. Really. Lastly, our server was awesome. Very kind, timely, personable and accommodating. I will return when I'm in town again. Loved it!

Americanized Chinese food, but still keep some good Asian favors. Everything is made fresh, no frozen packaged ingredients. Good for big parties, even have a private room available for reserve. Must try the Tempura Calamari for appetizer, spare ribs was great as well (4 per serving). Most dishes are best suited family sharing style. They have a full bar and a good selections of Asian beers and Sake. Underground parking lot, make you you get your ticket validated, it's a difference between $2 vs $20.

Good service, clean bathrooms, quality food. We happened to come on a Friday. Ight, which happens to be AYCE. We tried most on that menu, but my favorite was the beef belly and pork belly. The short rib, hanger, and miso skirt weren't far behind. I don't care much for the New York. The veggies on that menu were also all good. The karaage was lightly breaded, which was awesome - most other places tend to have too much breading. Other than the AYCE menu, we tried takoyaki, beef tongue, F1 wagyu short rib. The beef tongue was great, but the F1 wagyu short rib just melts in your mouth. We were stuffed at this point, but we plan to try the pork jowl during our next visit. The matcha lemonade was also good, just a tad too sweet. Parking was right next door. $19 for 2 hours, or $25 for 9 hours on a Friday night. Joey was our server and was great. - edit - Pork jowl, deviled eggs, other wagyu cuts were also fantastic. $11 parking on a Sunday night. This area is still busy for a Sunday night, so parking may be limited.

The food was great. The service was friendly and simple. What you would expect of a restaurant like this. A bit hot inside. The sides/veggies could be more authentic (like in Korea or Japan) so that they’re easier to grill. I would have preferred received a bottle of water instead of having it refilled, but that’s because I like to see that it’s bottle water and not filtered. The meat was awesome! Specially the wagyu.

If you’re in Dallas, don’t walk, don’t even run, just teleport to this amazing restaurant. We were in town for a concert and randomly googled restaurants near us and Niwa looked interesting so we went not knowing it would change our lives. I’m not even a beef person, but Niwa showed me how deliciously flavorful and melt in your mouth beef can be. The chicken and side dishes were delicious as well. They kept bringing things out for us to try and we said yes to everything because we were having an EXPERIENCE. At the end when we could not eat another bite, they brought us the panna cotta with berries in a yuzu/strawberry coulis and we scarfed that down in about 20 seconds and had no regrets!

If you’re used to AYCE KBBQ, this is slightly different. This isn’t Korean and isn’t all you can eat. Still worth a visit! Here’s what we got: - Chicken Karage not very crispy. The cooled peppers with it were very good though. - Potatoes were hearty - Beef belly: flavorful. Appreciated timing Recs attached to the meats - Miso skirt with ponzu sauce, amazing! By far the best * - Filet was just as good as the skirt. Maybe better. Absolutely melted in your mouth. We cooked it 1.5mim on each side. Maybe even 1.25 min. Also had this with ponzu sauce, which made this superior. * - coffee jelly dessert. Coffee was definitely overpowering near the end. Would recommend if you’re a coffee lover. Service was slow, but server was great. * = highly reccomend.

After living in Japan for more than 3 years and having extensively dined in yakiniku restaurants, Niwa is the best Japanese dining experience I've had outside of Japan itself. We happened to plan our visit during "Meat Day." The attached photo shows the 5 meat platter. Every meat melted in the mouth, and the three sauces were an excellent complement. 👌 All the meats were delicious, though my favorites were the beef belly, filet mignon, and miso skirt steak. We also tried the kurobuta sausage with spicy mustard. Yum! We started with the edamame, served warm with a perfect amount of salt. The Niwa Fries were excellent - cooked perfectly crispy on the outside, yet still tender on the inside, and coated with just enough toppings to enhance the flavor. The Hamachi Crudo was lovely as well, with a nice touch of daikon. The Imo Bonito was a delicious twist on Yukon potatoes, which is a must try. To top it all off, we tried the coffee parfait. Oh, my, word. I love traditional coffee jellies in Japan. This was an amazing rendition with two layers of coffee jelly with cream, topped with toasted almond slivers for a nice crunch. We also took home a bag of Premium Reserve Wagyu Boyz Beef Jerky. Honestly, beef jerky is something my husband loves. I have never liked the taste or smell of it. This is the only beef jerky I have ever enjoyed. The inside of the restaurant is dark, with plenty of wood that sets a warm tone. The tables are arranged in a way where each section has a sense of intimacy. It's a rather true reflection of old Japanese style. To top it all off, the owner, Jimmy Niwa, is personable and engaged throughout the restaurant. The staff had wonderful things to say about Jimmy and the work environment he creates. Hands down, excellent and high-quality meal, warm and authentic Japanese environment, and my new go-to restaurant in Dallas. You must try it!

Upon entry, the host and servers were very kind. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. It was our first time here and we wanted to try a variety of meats so we tried their variety platter that they have. The experience was great but the meat was alright. The matcha cocktail we ordered was amazing, however there was nothing too outstanding for us to come back to. All in all a wonderful experience but other places do it better.

Everest Indian Himalayan Restaurant and Bar is a delightful casual dining spot that invites you to explore the rich flavors of Nepali and Indian cuisine. With an enticing menu featuring classic dishes like tandoori specialties, this eatery caters to both adventurous palates and those seeking comfort food. The experience begins with unique offerings such as puffed rice and pickled vegetables, alongside popular favorites like momos—Nepalese dumplings that are sure to please even the most cautious diners.
My first experience with authentic Nepalese food was phenomenal. The quality of food was excellent and the flavor profiles exciting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

On a first visit to this restaurant, I opted for a comfort food classic: the chicken curry. It proved to be a delicious choice. The kitchen kindly allows patrons to customize the spice level, and in my enthusiasm for heat, I requested "highly spicy" rather than a milder option. While incredibly flavorful, this was a bit more intense than anticipated – a good reminder that their "highly spicy" truly delivers! Beyond my own fiery but enjoyable dish, I was impressed by the sheer breadth of the menu. They offer a wide variety of plates, catering to diverse palates with numerous vegetarian options alongside Himalayan specialties. This definitely warrants a return visit to explore further. Service was attentive and friendly. It's worth noting that the restaurant opens at noon, so plan your arrival accordingly to avoid showing up early as I did. Oh, and the garlic Naan is delish!
C T — Google review
9/10 The sag paneer and chicken tikka masala were both served piping hot and were flavorful and made for a delicious meal. The garlic naan and basmati rice were the perfect accompaniment for the entrees, and both brought added flavor. Highly recommend to anyone looking for Indian/Himalayan food in the Irving area. The papum was thin, flaky, and light but very tasty. Highly recommend dipping it the mint chutney or tamarind sauces!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it used to be one of my favorite spots. The place was always busy, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. Unfortunately, during my recent visit, I noticed a big change. The quality of the food just wasn’t the same as it used to be. The dishes had an odd smell and taste, which made me think the oil they’re using might be reused or not as fresh as before. It really took away from the overall experience. For a restaurant that once had such a great reputation, it was disappointing to see this decline. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, because this place used to be a gem, and I’d love to see it return to the quality it was known for.

Today I did to go from this restaurant and ordered chicken chowmein, momo, and biryani. The biryani was flavorful and definitely the highlight of the meal. The momo was also pretty good—juicy and nicely cooked. However, the chicken chowmein was disappointing. It had a strong smell and taste of reused fish-fried oil, which completely threw off the flavor. It seemed like the oil had been reused from frying fish, which really affected the dish negatively. That needs serious attention. Would consider going back for the biryani and momo, but definitely not for the chowmein unless they fix the oil issue.

At the end of Dashain, I stopped by this restaurant to taste a bit of Everest — the flavor of a country known for its herbs and natural food. Although I am an American and have been eating American food every day for the past 17 years, today I truly felt the Himalayas — wow! The taste of the Nepali food here was so authentic, it felt like eating at home. The food was simply wow, wow, wow! — full of natural flavor, freshness, and love. The server was very friendly and treated everyone like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great place to enjoy delicious food, a nice bar, and the real taste of Nepal. Highly recommended — a true Himalayan experience in America! 🇳🇵✨

Everest’s tandoori chicken is not only delicious, but the pieces Are a good size. In fact, they’re the meatiest I’ve and I’ve been to many Indian restaurants in the Houston area. Also, their curries are very tasty and the naan-bread is perfect! I highly recommend.

Secret Recipe is a restaurant that specializes in Malaysian food. The menu offers a variety of different dishes from across Asia, making it a great choice for anyone looking for something unique and delicious. The food is always fresh when ordered, and the prices are very reasonable.
We came at 12:45pm on a Saturday, ant it was not crowded, good or bad? The food smells good and looks too! The won tons on the Crab Rangoon was thick, homemade, and had a unique flavor, not like other restaurants. They were addicting. The Chicken egg rolls were good also. Loved the duck sauce that came with them. Thick , not thinned down & watery. Thai Mango Chicken and Szechuan Chicken were wonderful. Fried rice was an up charge. Large menu, literally 😂

I wouldn't call it my favorite but the food is decent. A lot of it is like a blend of Indian, Chinese, and Southeast Asian. My favorites had to be the egg drop style soup with the noodles and the chicken roti.
Ian W — Google review
Our Malaysian friend took us to this restaurant. We had an amazing time. Most of the food items didn't taste as fresh because they have hundreds of items in the menu for hole in the wall, nonetheless they tasted really good. They were out of many itmes, but thats understandable given the volume of menu. We ordered a lot of food with lots of leftovers. I don't remember the name of most of the items and menu doesn't have pictures so its difficult to validate. But some itmes that I remember are Beef roti murtabak with chicken curry: roti was fluffy, soft, and chicken was delicious. Malaysian chicken curry was a hit. It was very similar to Indian chicken curry but unique in its own way. Fresh soy milk was alright. It can be better. Malaysia chicken puffs were good and soft. Veggie pineapple fried rice was also good. Besides these we also got thick flat noodles which was ok. It didnt have lot of flavors. Mixed (thick and thin noodles) with pork and couple of sea food items was good. Sauce was slightly dominating but it was good. We also had a order of large cut tofu that came with rice which was also really good. My friend got oyster omelette, she liked it. I thought it was on a drier side and oysters were super salty. Overall food was good. We will definitely go back.

Delicious home style - south east asian food, love the crispy chicken, laksa, kang kung, char kway teow, the sambals can’t be beaten 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Sambal balacan is just the best!!! People who rate this place low should just eat at McDonald’s

The secret at secret recipe is their top notch Malaysian entrees. Among our favorites are Mee Goreng with shrimps and tofu, Penang Char Khay Teow with Shrimps, KL Hokkien Mee & Bee Hoon, and Cantonese Flat Noodles (Wat Tan Hor) with Pork and Shrimps. To add a little spice mix in some Malasian sambal (chili sauce). Faaaaaaantastic!
Steve G — Google review
Update:July 2019: Food quality is going down. It's time for a quality check. The Hokkien Mee was too salty, too much sauce. The Asam Fish Fillets barely tasted like Asam Fish. The kankun belacan was good. 2018: Excellent authentic food. If you miss Malaysian food, this is the place to go make sure you visit secret recipe if you are in the area.

Good place to eat southeast Asian food. We have been coming here before the pandemic and this was the first time that we came back after the pandemic. We ordered their crispy chicken and water spinach with garlic. We noticed that the serving is smaller now compared to pre- pandemic . Anyway the food still taste good and delicious.

From mouthwatering pastrami bao buns to rock sugar-glazed nine-spice ribs, there's something for everyone. Don't miss out on their unique rice bowls featuring crack chicken or wagyu New York strips.
The drinks, were perfectly made. The chicken dumplings were fantastic and esthetically pleasing. Do yourself a favor and get the shrimp fried rice! SO tasty. I will definitely be back. It’s slightly pricy but just go during happy hour. Totally worth it.

Simply delicious. We ordered the satay screwed, dumplings, charred green beans, and crack chicken. The service was great - the food comes out as its prepared so everything is hot and fresh. Great atmosphere- you could come after work, on a date, or with your family and have a great time.

Gung Ho was delicious!! My favorite dish was by far the orange chicken. I loved the flavor and how crispy the chicken was...sooo good! We also shared our meals since the portions were fairly large and got to try the pork lo mein and the Bi Bim Not. I love mixing my lo mein and fried rice so that’s exactly what I did. The fried rice was the better of the two in my opinion. The potstickers were good too, though the meat was almost sausage like and came out just warm. Still tasty.

I went there for a brunch on a Sunday.. didn't expect that interesting menu they offered. Lower Greenville has many nice options but this is definitely the most interesting one. This is basically a Chinese-American fusion joint. The quantity and the quality both are impressive. Service was good so was the ambience.

Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Very nice but casual spot for American Chinese food! The staff was very nice and the service was quick. We ordered the Veggie Dumplings, Crab and Coconut Rice, and the Beef Curry. At $24, the crab and coconut rice was pretty damn good, but not worth that price. The beef curry was also $24, and while the beef itself was amazingly delicious and soft, I wasn't a huge fan of the crunchy rice at the bottom (it just tasted like burnt rice to me). However, both dishes overall were pretty good, but they just didn't quite live up to their price tags.

Drinks are a little strong for my liking but still have great taste! I rally enjoyed the atmosphere it’s so pretty! I ordered the orange chicken which was the bomb dot com! I’m for sure coming back to try something different!
Jewls4660 — Google review
Chinese American fusion, but mostly catering to American clientele. I had a simple chicken friend rice. I thought, how can you mess up fried rice? It's a simple dish, no need to try and fancy it up by mixing too many contrasting flavors. Well, definitely wasn't for me. There was an underlying taste that I didn't like but couldn't put my finger on exactly what it was. The char siu pork dish was way better, which kept this review from being a 1 star. Maybe I just picked the wrong dish and will have to come back and give it a second chance. The drink we got came in a cute cat cup, so that was nice.

Alice is a cozy yet modern 50-seat restaurant and lounge located on Hall Street in Old East Dallas. The intimate spot offers Asian-inspired fare, including a carefully focused menu of Pan-Asian shared plates such as sushi, steamed buns, seafood favorites, and more. The restaurant's seductive red glow from the neon sign outside sets the mood for an intimate dining experience. Guests can enjoy dishes like Crab Dip, Lettuce Wraps, and Steamed Buns perfect for sharing.
I love everything about Alice. I’ve never had anything I don’t like to eat or drink. We have been there when they’re extremely busy and when they’re slower. Service is always top notch regardless. We like to sit at the bar with the best bartender ever, Leif. I can’t wait to go back. We went to Black Swan after we spent 3 plus hours at Alice and had a lot of fun there too. It is hard to find a resturant in the non ending list of restaurants in this area, but we are glad we found Alice. Some cons: honestly maybe my age is just showing but it was dark inside and I was confused why there was a Dj playing music too loud to have a reasonable conversation without straining my vocal cords. Overall pros: the food from sushi, to kimchi fried rice was amazing. They definitely were in the smaller portion sizes, but they packed the flavor and quality you expect for the price tag. Looking forward to come back again!

Such a cute restaurant! I loved the ambiance, dimmed lights with cool decor and music. We made reservations on OpenTable. Valet is offered for $5 in front of the restaurant. There are a few limited tables outside and plenty of indoor tables and a bar. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. There are TVs in every room so you can watch the game. The food is tapa style. Small portions and intended to be shared. The edamame and the boa buns (brisket) were so delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. We really enjoyed ourselves and I would love to go back to try more!!

Dined for the first time today after hearing good things. The ambiance is very nice and the staff very friendly and attentive. The food was good and portion size reasonable although on the smaller side. Pricing on the high side. Pad Thai came after 10 minutes but the sushi rolls took over 25 minutes. The waitress apologized saying they only had one sushi chef. I had the passion fruit margarita and it didn't taste like passion fruit. For dessert, we had their chocolate pie and it was good. Not bad but probably not a place I'd come back or recommend.

One of the best meals I've had in Dallas! I went with a friend and tried all kinds of stuff: table steak, fried rice, lettuce wraps, Korean BBQ wings, shishito peppers, rainbow roll, and key lime pie. I'm not a dessert person, but I would go back for that pie in a heartbeat! Excellent service and really cool vibe. It's a tiny place so you'll need a reservation.

She made she we were happy with our food and she was so pleasant. My brother in law is the General manager so of course we felt a little spoiled and got extra attention, but the whole place was getting extra TLC. I also tried the steamed buns and the chicken pad thai. Honestly everything was so great! Had the dumplings as well. It was nice to try a little of everything. even got dessert and had a few cocktails!!

Wok Star Chinese is a surprising find for those looking for a satisfying meal. Despite initial skepticism due to its unconventional setup, the restaurant impresses with its diverse menu and friendly service. The portions are generous and the flavors are top-notch, making it worth every penny. Dishes like pork buns, spicy beef, fried rice, combo dumplings, and eggplant with garlic sauce stand out as must-tries. The chef's enthusiasm in preparing noodles adds to the lively atmosphere of the place.
We had a great meal at Wok Star. The food came out quickly, the service was friendly, and I was surprised by the quality of each of the dishes. Highly recommend the cauliflower and the cucumber salad.

1st time to eat here. Saturday night date with my wife. Fun decor and ambiance when you walk in. Josh was our server and did a phenomenal job helping with recommendations and answering our questions. We had an order of the Xiao Long Bao ($13) for our appetizer. Though these were some of the smaller sized ones I’ve had, their flavor was rich and texture just right. For our entrees, we had General Tso’s Chicken ($18) and Honey Walnut Shrimp ($22). Both the chicken and the shrimp were good quality products from a size and texture standpoint. They were, however, very heavily sauced which is more Americanized Chinese food. We ordered Chicken Dan Dan La Mian ($19) for our youngest son as he was at work. He said the flavor was delicious and was very happy with it. The owner stopped by and chatted with us for awhile. She has an amazing and inspiring immigrant’s story to share if you are interested. We found her to be warm, passionate about serving others and happy to be in the restaurant business. Overall, this was a good experience. We will likely be back in due time to try some of their other dishes.

Ordered delivery on Uber Eats because they were having a buy one get one free promo on a lot of the dishes (got the orange chicken, and beef broccoli - sub beef for tofu). As I was eating my food, I thought it was pretty good… but then lo and behold, as I almost finished my dish, this large bug was hiding in my food. I couldn’t even finish it, I was so disgusted. Please work on quality control in your kitchen. I will not be getting any food from here ever again.

When I heard the name Wok Star, I was imagining bold, punchy flavors and tender, juicy meat, with the kind of kick and smokiness that's only possible when you stir fry over a ripping hot wok at fast speeds. What actually was served was a very average dish that'd be no different from a standard strip mall chinese takeout joint, made even worse by the fact that the taste here is catered to the pre health conscious American palate so everything just has bucketloads of sugar added to it - I felt a little lightheaded after finishing my General Tso's Chicken chicken because the sauce was pure sugar and lacked any umami or spiciness. At least the decor and service here is on point, if you just want a nice place to eat food with heavy sugar in it, this is your spot.

Tian Tian Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a delightful twist on traditional Chinese dining. Located at 18101 Preston Road, this inviting eatery stands out not just for its delicious cuisine but also for its unique robotic delivery service, adding a modern flair to your dining experience. While the menu features various dishes, the star of the show is undoubtedly their Peking Duck—perfectly cooked and ideal for those looking to indulge in this classic dish.
Update: The live fish is really good. Love the dimsum. Must try the radish cake with XO sauce The place looks nice and clean. Service is fast. Food is good but some of the scallop dish is a bit oily for me. We love their fish maw with crab soup. Love the soup with dumplings too.

TL:DR pay in cash for discount and don't sleep on their hot and sour soup, cheung fun, or siu mai We came here for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. We've been here previously and enjoyed the food. While the selection of dim sum isn't as vast as some other places, the dishes were fairly decent. We started with a large bowl of hot and sour soup, split between my wife and I. For $6, even if it was more, this is one of the best hot and sour soups I've had. Very generous portion where we managed to get 6 portions from the large bowl. We also ordered the spicy Sichuan wontons which were not so great. The wontons themselves were fine but the Sichuan sauce was lacking depth of flavor. For dim sum, the char siu buns were fairly standard. Decent and tasty, a little bready but good. The siu mai were seriously good. Nice and plump, a lot of filling, thin wrapper, and very tasty. Chicken feet were lacking a little. The sauce was thin and no depth of flavor. Their cheung fun were really good. It's definitely something we will order again. Simple dish with a nice texture to the wrapper. I enjoyed the tofu skin but my wife found it too chewy for her liking. We finished our meal with a lava egg bun which was very good as well. Wait staff were about as attentive as any other Chinese restaurant. I know some people prefer more attention, but we did not expect this. Lastly, pay in cash and you get a discount.

(If only I could give 0 star) I excitedly came here to try their peking duck as others reviewed as one of the best in DFW. It was not. The skin is only 10% crispy and the fat under it makes me sick to my throat after a few bites. Duck meat is not well marinated either. I also tried xiao long bao aka “soup dumplings” but to my surprise it does NOT have any broth in it, which make them just regular dumplings, but the price is more expensive than other dumplings like they have more special ingredients. Their “xiao long bao” taste just like Costco’s frozen and nothing stands out. I also ordered chicken feet and flat noodles but foods here are just mediocre. Y’all should try ABC seafood, Ocean Chinese seafood restaurant, the Pearl in Arlington, Kirin Court or My Canh (Garland). Foods are MUCH MORE tasty and well prepared than this restaurant. okay bad foods are not the reason why i 1-star this restaurant. The server charged me automatically 20% my bill for gratuity but from the moment foods were out until the moment we are finished they did not once come and ask me how i was doing or what else do i need. They just handed out the foods on the table and that was it. I told them tip was for service but I didn’t receive any service and it was not worth 20%. They said they did bring out foods and water for me in the beginning?!?!?!?!? I was planning to change the 20% to 10% tip but their attitudes to us were unacceptable. They loudly cussing me with “Merry Christmas” and “thank you don’t come here anymore we will not serve you,” The 2 girls disrespectfully and continuously shouted in their loud tone “merry christmas thank you don’t come back.” We finally gave them 0 tip and of course will not coming back. What an awful experience y’all!

We love their fried rice so much that we drove from out of town to eat here. Quick service with extensive menu with dim sum items even during the afternoon. Also loved their soup dump, and pan fried pork buns. Yummmm! A minor thing to jab is the stir fried veggies and eggplant. They were slightly on the sweet side, not to our liking. Will be back for their fried rice again!

Dim sum restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Onēsan Dim Sum Sushi is a culinary wonderland where traditional Asian dim sum and sushi meet innovation. The extensive menu offers a variety of exceptional dishes, with highlights like the rich and decadent Baked Snow Crab Roll that bursts with flavor. The trendy restaurant and bar has a cool ambiance, offering well-crafted cocktails and an extraordinary dining experience. Former Nobu chefs have created one of the finest Asian restaurants in Dallas, delivering spectacular flavors that put other high-end Asian restaurants to shame.
Fabulous appetizers and sushi roll!!! Delicious and flavorful! Cocktails were bland and more of a spritzer than a true Cocktail. Great care by the server.

Great, upscale sushi spot! The service was phenomenal. Loved the atmosphere, except .. maybe we came on an off night... But there was an abundance of children (some very loud screaming)... This should not be a place for children. The sushi is pricey, so expect a large bill. They have a lot of variety of sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi, and other small dishes to try/enjoy. Presentation was excellent and so was the taste. Only knock would be that for the price i would expect a bit more fish in the rolls. Best thing we tried was the mushroom dumplings!

Onesan is a true hidden gem that delivers a spectacular culinary experience. Specializing in Asian dim sum and sushi, this restaurant masterfully combines fresh ingredients with bold flavors, creating dishes that leave a lasting impression. Every item on the menu is exceptional and very flavorful. One standout is the Baked Snow Crab Roll, which is rich, decadent, and simply amazing. Every bite bursts with flavor and sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. Another must-try is the Korean Fried Chicken, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice and the gochujang sauce is excellent. The Brussels Sprouts are a surprise hit, packed with a savory depth that makes them anything but ordinary. All the dumplings are phenomenal, crafted with delicate precision and filled with balanced, delicious fillings. And the Bao Buns are pillowy soft, with a variety of flavorful options that are sure to satisfy. Also, the lo mein and the Shanghai noodles are the best in Dallas. Last, the onesan old fashioned is unique and very tasty. From start to finish, Onesan consistently impresses. Whether you're craving sushi or indulging in small plates, each dish is a testament to the care and attention put into crafting the perfect bite. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience!

Onēsan is a trendy restaurant and bar with a cool ambiance, but I found it a bit overpriced for the experience we had during our quick visit. Despite the place being half full, we were told the wait time was 45 minutes, which was disappointing. Opting for the bar, we tried the onesan sashimi, Shanghai noodles, geisha roll, onesan old fashioned, and whiskey business. The cocktails were well-crafted and appropriately priced, offering a generous amount of alcohol. However, I found the Shanghai noodles ($18) too oily and overpriced, not living up to the expected quality and portion. Similarly, the geisha roll ($21) and sashimi ($21) were under portioned and overpriced— visually appealing to post on social media posts. The Geisha Roll is a delightful treat, being rolled in cucumber makes it crunchy and flavorful. While I'd definitely return for the cocktails, I believe Dallas and Plano have plenty of other excellent options for sashimi, noodles, and sushi at more reasonable prices.

First time dining there. Was skeptical due to it being Japanese and Chinese fusion. Was surprised and was good. Sushi nigiri was fresh. Brussels sprouts and tempura fried green beans were delicious. Good wine selection as well.
David K — Google review
Great little spot with much better atmosphere than you would expect from the strip mall location. All of the dim sum items we tried were very good. Pork Fried Rice, Hot and Sour Shrimp, and Steamed Buns were standouts. The sushi was fine, but nothing mind-blowing. Cocktails are excellent, and the wine list is very reasonably priced. Service is friendly and efficient, although we had several people show up with plates looking for us to move things around on the table to make space for them, a pet peeve of mine. Good experience overall, though.

Excellent dinner, great drinks, and near perfect dishes accompanied by great service. Waiter Bidhop did a great job. The Sashimi is simply delicious and a must try… Liz approved of all the non-raw dishes

We had an excellent dining experience! Our waiter was exceptional as was the food. I was a little concerned when I read it was Dim Sum and Sushi place but both cuisines are quite complementary with one meal. Definitely will be returning next trip to Dallas!

Please do something to address the safety outside your store. Quite often I walk to the store because it's not far from my apartments. Twice in the last week and a half I've had to walk by homeless people. One morning they were still sleeping. This morning it looked like one of them was rolling something up. Today I told the manager on duty as soon as I walked in. Ten minutes later they were still outside, and I had to walk by them again on my way home. You've been formally notified in the store twice, now have this post, and I've contacted corporate. They have been hanging out/sleeping around the corner where the shopping carts are The two stores next to yours are empty, and they are in the corner where GNC and the CashStore used to be. As the flagship, I feel it's your responsibility to help maintain safety and cleanliness in that area. Please do something.

Dumpling restaurant
Momo restaurant
Hong Dumpling House is a hidden gem located in Dallas, Texas, offering delectable handmade Korean dumplings. The owner takes pride in serving fresh and beautifully crafted steamed or fried dumplings, providing recommendations based on individual preferences. Customers rave about the crispy snowflake dumplings and tangy shrimp dumplings. The friendly owner adds to the welcoming atmosphere of this cozy establishment.
From Cincinnati Ohio and was in for a conference, this was one of the only restaurant within walking distance it seemed like. We went it and was greeted by a nice man, since it was our first time we asked him to order us his top three favorite dishes, and WOW the food did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing, and the owner was so kind. He checked in on us and we made great conversation with him. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through, or even if you have to drive a bit out of the way…do it; it worth it. The owner is very obviously passionate and confident in his restaurant :)

Just discovered Hong Dumpling House with my daughter, and I’m already planning our next visit. The dumplings are handmade, juicy, and bursting with flavor—easily some of the best I’ve had in Dallas. You can really taste the freshness and care in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff was warm and welcoming. If you’re a dumpling lover, this spot is a must-try.
Daniel K — Google review
I’ve lived less than five minutes away from here since it opened, this was the first time I stopped by and I’m so mad I didn’t try this place sooner. The owner was incredibly sweet and you can tell he puts a lot of work into what he does. These dumplings were some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had. They were full of flavor, and he definitely doesn’t hold back on the amount of meat in each one. Safe to say I’ll be a regular from now on.
Lacy H — Google review
I carried out some dishes for lunch and really enjoyed the food. The kimchi dumpling is perfect already without the soy sauce and the shrimp dumpling is better with it. If you like spicy, try the whole squid dumpling. Everything is very fresh and tasty. I rarely write reviews but I want this place to run for a long time. I came in a Friday noon and the area is quite empty so I’m worried lol.
Han N — Google review
Beautiful handmade dumplings, rich with filling and bursting with flavor. The owner is incredibly friendly, greeting me as I entered with a wide smile. I had the Kimchi Dumplings and they were everything. Definitely coming back to try the other dumplings!

Before heading back home to Florida, I put into my brain my NEED to come to Hong Dumpling House. The algorithm showed me a clip, mentioned a owner dedicated to his craft and honestly the dumplings looked great. Looks are not deceiving, these are great. I got the spicy squid, fried shrimp dumpling, and the pork mandu. Each taste fresh, and almost refreshing given what I've put my gut through during my visit. Definitely feels nice before I have to go to the airport. The spicy squid doesnt have a ton of spice but on request you can get some powder added to your soy. I believe its gochujang powder? I havent verified yet since I have a few more dumplings waiting for me to brim my belly and probably lose feeling in a few toes. Righteous eats for sure!
Adam C — Google review
Wholesome place to grab some authentic, thick, fresh, homemade, juicy, Korean Dumplings known as "Mandu". Every single one of their Mandu is made with lots of attention and you can taste the intricacies of every ingredient that come with each bite. Dipping sauce? Limitless. Spicy option? Also available. I came with 2 others and we ate like pigs about to eat their last meal. We orders 5 plates of dumplings with a large thick fat no nonsense stuffed squid and ate the entire thing like starving Korean refugees suppressed by the North Korean regime. Even my friend's wife of petite nature ate like 12 dumplings all by herself!!! Which was incredible!! The place inside is like your typical Korean restaurant highly pragmatic, clean, straight forward with some Rod Stewart playing live on TV. We continue drinking green tea ocha to wash everything down and proceeded to check out the Christian Institute Research museum across the street. 5/5 would come here again!!! I am a commercial broker specializing in food and restaurant retail and believe me when I say, "this is the best Korean dumplings in DFW".

We went here for lunch to try out some mandu (Korean dumplings). The owner was so friendly and gave us suggestions on which ones to try. We got the galbi dumplings, Kim chi dumplings and the squid dumplings. They were bigger than I expected and very filling. So delicious. 18 dumplings for two people is alot and we had leftovers. Will definitely go back and try the other flavors.

Xiao Ling’s Kitchen is a small restaurant where you can witness the dumpling makers at work through a glass-walled kitchen. The soup dumplings are highly recommended, with thin wrappers that allow you to see the broth inside slosh around when picked up with chopsticks. Some consider them on par with those from Din Tai Fung. In addition to the soup dumplings, other dishes like pork scallion dumplings and scallion pancake are also praised for their quality and taste.
The bao is the best part of the menu. The dumplings are made fresh. It's nice you are able to see them being made. Tried the pork and beef scallion bao. They are like big soup dumplings. You can literally drink the the juices. They are amazing and filling. Tried the hot n sour soup as well as the beef and broccoli. Zero complaints from my experience dining here. Service was great. This place has become one of my regular spots. This place is worth it. If you are coming on a Friday or Saturday be warned seating will be scarce. It gets packed. I usually come during the week. There's always someone coming in for their takeout order and I feel that says a lot. If your thinking of trying this place out just do it! Highly recommend the bao and wonton soup.
P L — Google review
The regular egg roll didn't please us. Not a great flavor. The vegetable egg roll was better. The sweet sauce didn't taste good with either. The vegetable noodle soup was a tasty broth. Good vegetables. One order of soup to go could make four meals because of the many noodles. We didn't try dumplings because it's not a favorite dish of ours, but it is their specialty. We hear their dumplings are very good, so don't be dissuaded by our above comments. The takeout orders were exactly what we ordered, and they were ready when we arrived to pick them up. Parking was ample.
Bob K — Google review
I ordered the General Tso's chicken entree. The chicken portion was nice, however, the rice seemed to be overcooked. My table got some egg rolls and they had an after taste. The ambiance of the place was cool just that for the price it seems to only be worth a lunch try not a casual dinner option.

Best chefs here! I bring all my coworkers and friends here. Irving is so lucky to have Xiao lings! I recommend soup dumplings and pan fried pork dumplings. Beef noodle soup is pretty good too!

The food is very good, and made fresh in an open kitchen. We had questions about the menu, and they were happy to answer all our concerns. This will definitely be coming back and trying all the other interesting options.
Mark H — Google review
From previous comments it seems like bao is this place top-notch. Buttttt the top of xiao long bao is undercooked, you can still taste the flour powder. For pan fried bao it's quite good but the skin is too soggy. The pork belly noodles is probably the best one in this meal. The soup is flavorful with proper pepper tasty and the noodles is chewy. Overall not worth visiting

Dong Bo Sung is a popular Chinese restaurant in the Asian Trade District that offers great food and reasonable prices. They serve both Korean and Chinese dishes, and their spicy sweet and sour beef is definitely a favorite. They close at 8pm now, but their tables are spaced far apart so it's still easy to order delivery from Grubhub.
Absolutely delicious food ! I’ve tried new things each time here and all of them are a hit. The portion sizes are nice and big you can share with your family. Love brining my parents here to share a few dishes and we always have left over for later. Def recommend 71. I am a picky eater and i can say this is a great place, great AUTHENTIC Korean-Chinese food. My father-in-law said the chef is the former chef for the Korean president a long time ago. I really enjoyed all the food, especially their jajangmyeon, the shrimp, i forgot the name, but you can take a look at my ugly photo and show it to them. All of those were really really GOOD, no regrets.

Peter L — Google review
I went on the weekend a few hours before closing and was treated good with service, timely water refills, was a slow day, food came out timely as well. The noodles came separate from the pork and onion black bean sauce. Its a fairly even amount, typically there is ton more black bean then noodle ratio but this was even. Noodles were thinner then the ones I buy at hmart. Sauce was mildly sweet at most. Felt lacking flavor, and one dimensional. Sweet and sour pork was overcooked, and somewhat bland. A little pricier then I would like. But plentiful. These two are some of my favorite dishes but I can just make it at home better.

This place is my first choice for authentic Chinese food. You can’t go wrong on anything you order. A good physical sign a place is authentic is a display of cooked duck with the heads still attached on a hook. But remember CASH ONLY!! Original place is in Richardson on Belt Line. I eat in in Plano off Coit. There is a Grand Prairie location too. Happy eating.
Romeo R — Google review
First things first CASH ONLY! When you walk they have the roasted ducks hanging ready to go. My ordered the Roasted Duck Wonton Soup which I liked more than my dish just because of the e flavor profile. I ordered the Roasted Duck over a bed of rice. The flavor of the duck itself was good but I do feel like it needed some type of sauce to go along with it. The duck itself was cooked to perfection and would recommend the wonton soup for sure. Remember CASH ONLY because they will remind you!

Alert! This will be my LAST time going to this place to buy roasted meat. I have never run into such problem before. I brought 2 lbs of roasted pork here in the morning approximately 11:30am went home right after and have the first bite it was sour and the meat texture was sticky/ slimy. The smell was awarful too, like the meat was old. I called the resturant and letting them know about the problem, the person on the phone said "bring it we will exchange it" then he hang up.( I live 30 mins away!) so I have to drive back to the resturant and the 2 people that was there giving me attitude and couldn't even let me talk. So I told him I don't want to exchange I just want my money back, and the other guy shows anger and started to point ( digust gusture). I paid them $25 and they only given me back $18 like what????? When I confront him about it he said idk. No alpologize no nothing. I wish they could have handle the situation better.

Nestled in the heart of Preston Center, Jia Modern Chinese is a stylish eatery that beautifully marries traditional and contemporary Chinese cuisine. Named after its owner, Jia Huang, this restaurant offers an enticing menu featuring beloved Americanized dishes like General Tso's chicken alongside authentic plates and health-conscious options such as the Seafood Delight. The ambiance is elevated by a chic two-story layout with an inviting upstairs lounge perfect for enjoying cocktails or wine during happy hour.
Wonderful experience! Not in-China "authentic" but amazing nonetheless. Appetizers were the peppers and wontons. Wontons were incredible! House spicy sauce on side (off-menu item) is a must for dipping and accent. Peppers were "good+". We didn't hit a single hot one (it's supposed to be spice roulette). Dragon and Phoenix was a very good plate, Phoenix shrimp was my favorite food of the evening. Spicy pork with garlic sauce was very good, as was the beef. The virgin sushi roll (so called for being riceless and wrapped in cucumber shaving) was delicious BUT falls apart completely if you try to bite from the very-large slices, forcing you to eat it in one bite like a thin hockey puck to the mouth. We didn't do dessert, but we did do drinks. Mai Tai is off-menu and great! Lychee martini is A+, just be prepared for a lot of syrup in it. Tokyo Mule was very regrettable. Lemon Drop martini was very bitter (I didn't try that one directly, but the other 3 all did). 2.5 hours and $220 (before tip, for 4 ppl) later, my palette was very satisfied but I felt like I still needed dinner. It did not feel filling at all, despite how much food I'd had. 9/10 will definitely go back. Oh and the atmosphere is incredible. They even had a solo musician playing, and he was great - playing multiple instruments, vocals, and personality. Best of all he kept the volume low so you could hear him clearly but still have a normal table conversation (and we were the corner table, which was closest to him)! P.S. Jia is my wife's "generational" name (first half of "given" name in Chinese culture), so it felt extra-special! Hence the posing with the signs.

Cute intimate spot for date night. Easy to find and parking in front of building and the parking garage on side of building. The food is excellent, one of the best Chinese in town. I recommend the Mongolian beef. The egg drop soup is also excellent. Ask to sit upstairs for more of a loungy and hip vibe. That area is definitely my favorite part of the restaurant. Everyone is friendly and truly delivers an authentic experience. It would get 5 stars if there were more specialty drink options and the old fashioned was a little more crafted.

The sushi was really good! They were open until 10pm which was perfect for a simi late night eat! The only thing I didn't care for was their chopsticks because they were large in length and circumference. All in all very good! They also had a live band as well!

My wife and I were in the area and dropped in for supper. We both had the delicious hot and sour soup. She had the Singapore noodles and very much enjoyed it. I had the pork with hot garlic sauce. It was superb. Edit: Went back again. This time she had the pork with garlic sauce and I had kung pao chicken and we had Yang Zhou fried rice. Our granddaughter had orange chicken. It was all delicious. They were very busy but the service was good. They had live music: a guy who played everything from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Carlos Santana. Very enjoyable evening.

MoMo Spot, located in a service station, may not look like much from the outside, but it offers delicious Nepalese momo dumplings that are steamed or deep-fried and seasoned with Himalayan spices. The spot is also known for its sandheko dumplings, which are tossed in a dry rub with lemon, tomatoes, and onions. Under new management, the place has gained a reputation for incredibly tasty food and friendly owners.
Recently taken over by new management, the food at this place is incredibly delicious and the owners are very very sweet. Coming from a Newari community from Nepal, the taste of the food here exactly reminds me of my mother back home. I visit it at least once a week from Denton :) Tried chicken choila set.. it was BOMB!! So delicious. Aloo chop.. tastes like it came right from the streets of Indrachowk. Mixed bara is so good. Khuwa yomari, khuwa lassi, sel set, chatamari and chicken lollipop .. you must try. Don’t miss from this list for the best taste! If you like Newari food, this is the best spot in DFW.

As much as I'd like to keep this place to myself, I have to post this. This place has exceptional food. I don't even like Indian type food. But this is crazy. First, you walk into a crowded gas station with a very strong aroma omnipresent in the immediate environment. Then you see this small opening with a small stove and some of the nicest people you'll meet west of Portugal. Then you order this ridiculously inexpensive food and BAM, your life just changed. Yes, it's that GOOD!

Scratch Wings is a local Asian-owned restaurant that offers exceptional customer service and delicious food. Visitors have praised the friendly and personable staff, with one customer highlighting the warm welcome from co-owner Ray and host Sunny. The menu features popular items such as Korean fried chicken sliders, lemon pepper tenders, and a variety of flavorful sauces. Customers appreciate the generous portions and the opportunity to sample multiple sauces with their orders.
Guys this may be some of the best wings I’ve had in Dallas, nay the entire continent. Now it is a big jump from city to continent, but these wings are outta this world. It was so crispy, so flavorful, juicier than a fresh peach in June or whenever peach season is. And Chef Mai was soooo nice & kind. She stopped said hi, joked around, and just chatted about our day. Her flavors are amazing too. There’s this green curry flavor that actually tastes like green curry with a fresh pop of lemongrass. Everyone else likes the Korean Spicy and Lemon Pepper but I say why follow the status quo ya know? Honestly I’m bout to run some miles so I can reward myself with another visit *runs out front door*

Super friendly right out the gate, explained the menu to my husband, husband says hands down best wings he’s ever had in his life! He doesn’t really care for wings but these wings raised the bar and set it! I ordered over the phone for pick up and live 10mins away. Food was hot and surprisingly still crispy since we got it to go! Very happy with our meal! Will be returning! We got Spicy garlic Parmesan and Korean sweet & spicy!

If you want to get off the beaten path of more popular wing places, try this place. I was impressed the first time I tried it and I am even more impressed the second time. The Korean BBQ wings are awesome. So are the OG Buffalo. Portions are great. Fries were nice and crispy but not over done. Tip: if you can handle spicy food, add “Angry” to the Korean BBQ flavor. Won’t regret it.

I had the pleasure of visiting Scratch Wings recently, and it was a flavor-packed experience! I ordered a sample of their Spicy Wet Lemon Pepper, Thai Coconut Green Curry, Sweet and Spicy Korean, and Maple Bourbon wings, which came with a basket of thick cut seasoned fries. We also tried the Kimchi Fried Rice and Onion Rings. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were on point! The standout for me was the Thai Coconut Green Curry wings—the lemongrass flavor was beautifully infused, and it completely took me by surprise in the best way. Each wing had a perfect balance of seasoning and sauce, and every bite was a delight. There are so many more flavors on their menu that I can’t wait to try next time. We spent about 50 bucks(including drinks) and had leftovers enough for 2 more servings! If you’re a wing enthusiast or just someone who loves bold, creative flavors, Scratch Wings is definitely worth a visit!

A friend told me about this place and I seen it in passing. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and felt welcomed; first by the co-owner Ray and then Sunny was the host. Sunny was such a great person and friendly. She went through the menu with me and gave me her faves to try. Ray was also amicable and down to earth! We tried the Korean fried chicken sliders and lemon pepper tenders. They were so good friend just right and the Korean spicy sauce was a hit! I can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

Saw the reviews so decided to give them a try. Glad I did! Our order was ready on time within 30 minutes in a Friday night. We ordered a garlic parmesan wings and shrimp combo, boneless buffalo wing combos and fried pickles. The fried pickles were so 💣! They are big and they slice them differently than any other place and they have the korean style batter and fried perfectly crunchy with the ranch, omg! The fries are seasoned pretty good. The boneless wings were a nice size, not those little popcorn chicken bites. Portion sizes were generous but not overboard. I will say the shrimp🍤 were a nice size but were fried a tad too long for me, so they were a little too chewy but still good. My only slight dislike was the garlic parmesan flavor wings, which was a wet toss not a dry one had a sweet taste instead of a savory taste, which was a turn off. But bone in wings were big and fried crispy. They didn't taste bad at all, I just wasn't expecting the sweetness. The ladies were very friendly and the space was simple and clean. Good service! I will definitely order from them again.

The wings here are bomb! We also had one of the apps and also did not disappoint. It’s a smaller joint but packed with flavor.

OMG! I am not exaggerating when I tell y’all these are the absolute BEST wings I’ve ever had in my life. I had the Korean sweet & spicy and the wet lemon pepper wings. The crispy mashed potatoes are to die for! Everything is freshly made, the restaurant is very welcoming, and the staff is courteous. This will quickly become the go to place for wings in Grand Prairie for everyone. So glad it’s close to home! Please give them a try, you will not regret it!

Man what a great little place in Oak Cliff!! Fresh herbs, fresh baked bread, homemade sauce and all kinds of great little thing you didn't know you wanted! The lemon cream candies are really good. However, the Orange Zest Olive Oil bread is SPECTACULAR! I made a new friend there too. Melissa, I truly appreciate your help and it's great to meet you!

I saw on instagram this place had recently opened and had recipe cards for different Italian dishes! I just had to go and get the one to make tiramisu— turned out amazing! Such a cute shop, I’ll definitely be back.

Ari's Pantry is a great addition to the neighborhood and we feel so fortunate to have an authentic Italian market closer to home now. 💚🤍❤️ Ari's is full of unique gift items on top of a full selection of high quality, thoughtfully sourced pantry items. There's a cooler for fresh cheeses, meats and pastas, and we grabbed a jar of Chef Ari's own tomato sauce to try. Fresh herbs are always on the house with purchase so we walked out with everything we needed for a fabulous dinner! Looking forward to all the things to come like wine, beer, freshly prepared and ready to go. Welcome to the neighborhood Ari's Pantry. Can't wait to come back for more! 🥂🍝🥫

Awesome Italian groceries just right down the street! They have lots of fresh pasta, great cheese selections. Also everything you would need for a charcuterie board at reasonable prices. All the products are from Italy and you get fresh complimentary herbs at checkout. And if you want some wine, there’s a great little beer and wine shop just a few doors down!

Phil was very helpful, this store is neat and has a lot of Italian options to select and the prices are affordable.

Ari’s Pantry is a wonderful addition to N. Oak Cliff! They have unique and high quality Italian foods, and the level of friendly customer service is outstanding. From homemade tomato and pesto sauces, to fresh pastas, Italian sodas, coffee and more. Be sure to give this place a try, it’s like stepping into a small, owner operated market on the Amalfi Coast.
