The most unique cocktails I've ever seen. Incredibly professional and kind staff as well. Great atmosphere in the bar. The menu itself is a piece of art, I also liked the restrooms, they fit the name paradiso very well. The stay in this bar was a surprising experience for all senses. Sometimes it's interesting to read previous reviews before writing your own. Scrolling down, there are comments about the virtual queue outside the door and about the quality and price of the cocktails. I can't comment on the virtual queue, as I arrived at the bar very early and was the second guest to be allowed in. However, I didn't notice any discontent while waiting, and the Romanian who was responsible for organizing the queue was extremely friendly. However, I can certainly comment on the cocktails, as I am familiar with many bars and the industry. For me, it was the most enjoyable evening I have ever had in a bar. Starting with the fantastic service from our bartender Dorian, to the wonderful menu, the creativity of the cocktails, and, above all, of course, the taste. In terms of presentation, I have never experienced anything even remotely similar. Whether it's the best bar in the world is for those who have been to every bar in the world to judge, which I haven't. But I only know of one bar in Singapore that comes close to the inspiration and quality of Paradiso. Cheers, guys (and gals)

Atmosphere: 9/10 Hidden in El Born behind a fridge door inside a pastrami shop, Paradiso delivers one of Barcelona’s most iconic entrances. Inside it’s tropical and stylish, buzzing with energy, with plenty of bar seating and group tables. The backbar looks sharp, though the music felt a bit too quiet. Drinks: 8.5/10 Recommendation: The Cloud, Secret of Java The menu is creative and heavily designed, with imaginative glassware, bold garnishes, and striking presentation. Every detail leans into spectacle. The drink list is big, but flavors and balance don’t match the level of show — presentation clearly takes priority over substance. Service: 7/10 Water is served right away. Staff are friendly, professional, and attentive. The real drawback is access: no proper reservations, long wait lines, and an unreliable QR waitlist system. Prices are above average for Barcelona. Paradiso was ranked #1 on The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2022 and is currently #10. While the presentation is truly unique, the overall experience doesn’t feel like “one of the world’s best bars.” It wouldn’t make my personal Top 50.

Really more a novelty stop, this absolutely lovely little space in the old city makes a fine conversation starter / first stop with your date, or a bit of culinary exploration in liquid form. "How did they make this taste like that?" But for enjoying some twists on craft cocktail making? Not so great. Despite a wall full of both rare and classic bottles, most of what's featured on the menu is...eccentric at best. I had two after discussion with the bartender, and both were okay but not what I would enjoy drinking despite having a very broad palate. Although famously ranked by "50 best", this is a lot different than other cocktail bars on that list (I've visited quite a few of them), including the others in Barcelona. Perhaps having hit the number one spot before, they didn't know where to go from there? Nice staff but also missing was bartender banter (at least in English) I've found at most top bars - the bar experience is heavily about that interaction, especially for the solo customer. What they offer *would* be great as a liquid tasting menu and I would return for that. But for full sized cocktails? Meh.

Can’t make this place up, where you open a perfectly normal oven door into a secret bar, you feel like you’re stepping into John Wicks secret society of assassins. The menus are alligator leather covered books with fancy glowing menus. Each drink is based on planets in the solar system, an astrologist dream. The drinks are unique to the name and description, the service was great and professional. Prices and medium to high end for this experience!

The atmosphere was amazing. Staff is amazing, very knowledgeable and very helpful. They have very unique and interesting cocktails. The only problem is cocktails are around 16-18 euros which I understand because they are using a lot of different ingredients for the serving and etc. but the taste of the cocktails were not good as excepted. These different ingredients are not for helping the taste only for the image.

Paradiso is a truly magical place in the heart of Barcelona. Every visit feels special — the atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, the cocktails are exquisite, and their presentation is a real work of art. What’s even more impressive is that they also offer non-alcoholic cocktails, which is rare for a bar of this level, so you can even come here with a child. Yes, there’s usually a queue at the entrance, but it’s absolutely worth the wait — once inside, you immediately understand why Paradiso is among the best bars in the world.

We were looking for a great bar in Barcelona and came across Sips – one of the best in the world. We were truly impressed by the place and its concept. The selection of craft cocktails is wide and every drink is unique and special, with an incredible presentation. The bartenders are at the center of attention and constantly interact with the guests. The whole staff is extremely polite, friendly, and highly professional. We were amazed by the cocktails, the service, and the atmosphere! We highly recommend visiting — just make sure to book a table in advance.

The selection is extensive, with cocktails that are consistently well balanced and creative. Presentation stands out — inventive glassware, thoughtful garnishes, creative ice, and polished coasters. This is a place where you’d confidently recommend trying everything. Service: 9/10 Water and snacks are served on arrival. The team is friendly, professional, and highly attentive — at times almost too quick to clear glasses. Reservations are recommended. Prices are significantly above average for Barcelona.

Ok we’d heard a lot about this place and it did and didn’t disappoint. The main room has FABULOUS cocktails with a great vibe!!!! The cocktails are craft cocktails with and excellent balance of creativity and flavor. They have a back room, which we got to experience , you can do 10 or 15 courses - all drinks. This I’m afraid is where we were disappointed. It felt very sterile and clinical.Ni music at all and frankly the drinks hit the mark for me, the first 3-4 courses seemed almost the same with strong citrus flavors- I got heart burn. Then we went to some kind of earthy phase… meh… there was only one course I enjoyed and that was the spin on a Bloody Mary. It really missed the mark, I think it was just too creative not taking into account the customer experience. So honestly just stick to the first room. The back room was just too snooty for me. Still uploaded pictures from the tasting but again that’s a hard pass.

We are cocktail people and we’re so excited to come to a top world bar and the entire experience really lived up to the expectation. The vibe inside is dark and moody and we had a great view of the cocktail making process. My favorite drink was the saffron daiquiri. Lightly sweet but incredible saffron and pineapple flavors. The staff were on top of their game and ensured guests liked what they ordered. Highly recommend. I made our reservation about 1-2 weeks prior to our visit.

SIPS is one of the best cocktail bars in Barcelona – every drink is an original piece of art, both in taste and presentation. ★☆☆☆☆ The worst experience in Barcelona! If I could make -1 I’d definitely rate as -1! We fell for the hype — everyone says Sips is one of the best bars in Barcelona, even one of the best in the world. But honestly, it doesn’t deserve that reputation at all. We were here 2 weeks ago — it’s our little tradition to explore Michelin-starred restaurants, top hotels, and the most talked-about bars wherever we go. But this place… is a complete disappointment. The first time, we waited in line forever, and the cocktails were just ordinary, nothing memorable. I thought maybe it was just bad luck, so we decided to give it another try. This time, we arrived while the bar was still open — and the bartender simply refused to make us a cocktail. That’s not customer service, that’s arrogance. Terrible attitude, completely overrated place that doesn’t live up to its fame. Even the most basic hotel bartender makes classic cocktails that taste better than the ones here — and that’s saying something, considering this place tries to look so fancy. Just awful. Honestly, I’d much rather go to Paradiso — the cocktails there are far better, the service is on another level, the prices are much more pleasant, and every drink presentation is an absolute masterpiece.

I went in for a fun experience to wrap up my last day in BCN and it was perfect. Great for groups as it has plenty of comfy space, but just as classy for a lone wolf, which I was that night. The service is great and they take their classic cocktails seriously. I can’t speak for the entire menu and it was my first time. Worth the try late at night when it gets going.

The Dry Martini Bar in Barcelona is a real classic. Elegant vibe, nice tables, and a gorgeous long counter where a charming and friendly barmaid and four bartenders in suit and tie mix up the big international cocktail classics. Even though they’re incredibly skilled, they’re happy to adapt and make variations—like the ones I asked for. They’re always up for a pleasant chat, while staying professional, and it’s a real pleasure watching them shake cocktails with so much energy, charm, and elegance. The perfect mix of hospitality, professionalism, and style. Definitely a temple of the martini!

We went to Dry Martini in Barcelona and really loved it. The bar has such a classic and elegant vibe, and the cocktails were amazing I had the Dirty Martini and personally loved it. They also serve some complimentary snacks like crisps or nuts, which is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and professional. Overall, a lovely spot for a perfect cocktail night in Barcelona.

Homesick Expats! If you need a place to find homecooked Sunday roast, Brits, there is no better place. It truly tastes like you went to a family place for dinner. The parsnips are SUPERB! Service is incredible. Didn't expect everyone to speak English, but was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't eat all of my lamb shank and they kindly got me a box and a bag. Beers are amazing. Maybe skip the cocktails. But the overall vibes are great. It's very chill for a lunch time rush and they take very good care of you. Thoroughly impressed! (Note - mint sauce is good, but you need to request it for the lamb - the sauce collection they have is really impressive)

Proper Irish bar with Irish staff. Good food and a good selection of beers... Went here 3 times while we were in Barcelona..bar was very convenient, just off La Rambla. We did enjoy the food which is why we kept going back... Very reasonably priced

I've been coming to Flaherty's for a while and highly recommend. Great vibes, great food/drink and wonderful staff (Niki is a gem)! If you're in Barcelona you have to pass by, you will not regret it!

Wow what a great place. Alex was so sweet. Some may call her the sweetest. Also Niki had incredible service and made one of the best Irish Coffees i’ve ever had. It’s a must see stop. Love it definitely will return.

My parents have been to Barcelona 5/6 times and it’s become tradition to go to this bar , it was my first time in the city and they enjoyed their breakfast one day here which they enjoyed, a little hidden gem in the corner and few other dotted around

The service here was outstanding. It was so busy, yet someone immediately came over and helped us find stools. Never had to wait long before we were asked if we needed anything. The food portions were massive and when we asked for no mushrooms they subbed them for vege sausages. So cool! Great place to watch the football.

Visiting from California. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere is fantastic!! One member of our group mentioned she drinks Coors Light, which they didn't carry. The next day we went back, and found they had ordered a case so she could feel at home. Really? Who does that? Niall Lynch, that's who! Awesome fish n chips, drinks and service from the whole crew! A nice proper Irish Pub experience in the middle of Barcelona. The staff is excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful especially when the Irish musicians were playing in the back room. Went for a few pints of Guinness and to watch the football games. Brilliant place to relax over a few pints.

I only come here for the food! Probably one of the best Guinness pours you will get in Barcelona. Food is amazing though. Good live music but only if Ray is performing! All the staff if amazing but I do have my favorites. And of course the staple of the Michael Collins Mr. Nail himself always having the craic!

Stopped in for a very quick Guinness on my route to see the Sagrada Familia. It was very much a true Irish pub so if you are looking for the pub experience look no further.

They have Kilkenny on tap, what more can you ask for!! Great place to grab a beer while out walking the city. The outdoor seating was nice and service was great.

Decent Irish Pub close by the Sagrada Familia. The staff speaks fluently English and Spanish and they are super friendly. We were here on Boxing Day and it was not busy at all. Drinks were a bit pricey but overall we liked the place very much.

I’ve had the chance to visit many of the world’s top 50 bars, and while this one had a cool atmosphere and a menu design reminiscent of M Bar in Singapore, it ended up being my least favorite. Our group of four each tried a different cocktail, but unfortunately, the flavors didn’t quite land for us. The drinks were overly complex and hard to enjoy—we found ourselves slowly sipping, struggling to finish even after 20 minutes. While I appreciate the creativity, the execution just didn’t work for our taste.

The atmosphere of the place is really amazing. However I didn’t have the best experience there. They changed our table 3 times, each time taking us to a more uncomfortable table. The cocktails were good, but not different to the other cocktails places. They also did not have any appetizers available at the time we tried to order, the only thing available were olives. They do have an amazing presentation of the menu and especial way to show every combination of flavors. I guess it worth the visit for the decor and atmosphere.

I had an overall lovely time at Dr. Stravinsky. After reading all the reviews I was excited to try some lovely cocktails in a great environment. I went as a solo traveller on a Friday evening and was able to get a seat immediately. The place was busy but there were a few empty seats. I absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of the place. From the decor to the menu to the outfits worn by the workers. It was amazing. The drinks I chose were fantastic as well. Very unique and interesting drinks that made me want to try everything, but had to limit myself of course. This isn't your run of the mill cocktail bar. The bartenders were also knowledgeable and will give you good recommendations. My night was going perfectly well until I was ordering my second drink. As I was looking at the menu (for no longer than 2 minutes) one of the bartenders/waiters came up to me to ask for the menu. I was still looking at the menu as it is quite in depth, and said so. This led to a really weird interaction where the bartender wouldn't take no for an answer and was insistent on taking the menu, saying that a new table needed it. We were essentially in a standoff. As a paying customer, this made me feel really weird. I am at your establishment trying to choose a drink, and you want to take the menu from me? This is a very popular bar, not at full capacity, and you're saying you don't have enough menus to go around? That makes absolutely no sense and left a very sour taste in my mouth. There were other patrons in the bar as well who likely had a menu. Why did you not ask any of them for their menu? It left me and a couple of others around me confused as to what just happened. The female bartender came in to save the day, seeing what was happening and asked (in a nicer tone) to take the menu and gave me a few options (which were excellent) Overall I had a good experience here. Fantastic drinks, fantastic atmosphere, with great service from some and weird service from others.

Went on a Monday ~5pm and waited ~10min outside before they let us in. Space was pretty empty, but there’s only two staff working. We got a table for 5 upstairs. The space feels like your stepping into a different time period. It’s a wonderful view at the top overlooking the bar. Menu has a flavour map to help you choose one of their unique cocktails. We tried 7 cocktails mostly from their seasonal menu and liked maybe 2 of them. The flavours are quite complex, strong, and unique. The umami profile is more on the blue cheese spectrum than Asian umami. Exquisite presentation and still fun to try. But if it sounds like a weird pairing, it will probably taste as such. The cocktail itself is well executed and you can tell they put a lot of care into it. I’d definitely go back though. It has the unexpected je ne sais quoi.

One of our favorites in Barcelona. An interesting and talented bar, making very unique cocktails at reasonable prices, and paired with friendly hospitality. Styled like an old pharmacy mixed with an old whisky bar, they aim to create each cocktail with at least 80% homemade ingredients. Their menu is varied, offering a wide range of unique and well-made twists. We enjoyed a coffee and chocolate drink, and a solid Old Fashioned twist, but then we were surprised by a super interesting savory truffle-infused Negroni.

There’s a reason why this place has been in the best 50 bars of the world for many years! Their drinks are unique and everything is made in-house! The way they present the drinks is fantastic (the drinks menu), choosing your drink is very intuitive! I’ve been about times already, and will keep going as long as I’m living in Barcelona!

amazing! we went early evening and was seated immediately (try to get here earlier as it seemed to pick up around 8-9pm). the drinks were great and the service was exceptional. highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Lovely little Irish bar tucked away in Barcelona. Super friendly staff, a bartender, Darren, was our go to guy for the night and it has a chill vibe to it, me and my biyfriend loved it. Felt like a home away from home—perfect spot to relax, chat, or just catch up with friends. Will definitely be back.

Terrible Experience - Unprofessional Staff Behavior Visited this venue on Sunday with my family on the second day of a family wedding. Unfortunately, our experience was marred right from the entrance by a staff member named Cian, whose attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional. He immediately singled out one of my cousins, insisting he drink a pint of water to “sober up” — despite the fact that he was completely sober. He then proceeded to mutter under his breath that we “weren’t wanted in the bar anyway,” and refused entry to the rest of our group, which included my parents in their 60s. His manner was disrespectful and completely unnecessary, especially given the context — we were part of a wedding celebration, and the bar was half-empty at the time. Another staff member at the door was clearly embarrassed by his conduct and kindly allowed us in without charge, which we appreciated. Otherwise, we would have left, if not for the rest of our family and friends already inside. Cian was not seen again for the rest of the evening, which speaks volumes. Unfortunately, the atmosphere inside wasn’t much better. The bar was filled with older men who made our younger female relatives feel very uncomfortable with persistent staring, an issue the staff seemed to overlook entirely. If the goal is to create a welcoming and safe environment, perhaps more attention should be paid to who is allowed in, rather than aggressively turning away respectful, paying guests. Truly disappointing behaviour from a member of staff during what should have been a joyful family occasion.

Well that was a night , Me and my wife Theresa decided to hit this place up after an intense paddle sesh with our home slices, After 3 years of marriage you learn a thing or two about about your wife, and I know Theresa loves skin head Irish guys, I became aware of a certain member of staff that goes by the name Eoin Lyon’s , dudes on the street call him Giovanni , Gio for short. He began serving us cocktails all night, Theresa lives Long Island ice tea, While I went to the bathroom Theresa asked for another cocktail but this time without the tail , she said Eoin was shocked but remained professional , she even invited him up to our hotel after his shift which he politely declined. That drove her crazy, his attitude was outstanding. Usually the barman always go for Theresa she’s a catch ! Anyways I rate this place 5 blackout trays out of 5 , super night Attached is a pic of me in wedding suit , dare I say I look sharp ? 🫰🏻

Had a great time here. The atmosphere and staff were fabulous. Lexie was the best bartender we could have asked for, so welcoming and helpful. She gave us suggestions for what to do in the city as we’ve just arrived. We will definitely be back :)

Nice place, but the service was really bad. They overcharged us. The server brought drinks we didn't ask for, we mentioned it as she was leaving. She didn't accept to bring it back saying that since she left the table it was too late. The person at the bar said that if we didn't pay for those drinks she would call the police. We never touched those drinks. We didn't understood the escalation, paid, left. Worst behaviour I ever ran into. (I had left a milder, less detailed review before but they took it down). This scam did happen, 2 years ago, giving a bad review is the only way I can hold them accountable. Edit : read the feedback. Maybe it's now self service, but that's definitely the right place.

Loud in main area. Hard to hear. Few tables at the front where you can have a reasonable conversation tho. Pretty busy even on a Tuesday night up thru 1:30 am when I left. Very clean. Few items like the organ made the ambiance more fun.

From the outside looking in, it seemed pretty dark, but once you’re inside it gives a more welcoming atmosphere. The service is great, the bartenders tell you the history of the bar and recommend you the ideal drink to match your desire. The cocktails live up to the reputation of the bar! Delicious!

It’s a super nice bar and I felt comfortable even though I was alone. I got great conversations with bartenders and detailed and sophisticated introductions towards the drinks I got, and too sweet to answer all my (stupid) questions. I felt super happy here. Thank you so much for the time.

I’ve been here twice- once in 2022 and another now in 2025. Both times the atmosphere, service and drinks were absolutely wonderful. The staff are really intent on making your time there good (and if someone annoying comes up to you they make sure to tell them to go away).

An unforgettable experience at Boadas Cocktail Bar in Barcelona, made truly special by Matteo, who warmly welcomed us and shared the fascinating history of this iconic venue. The hospitality was impeccable, worthy of such a legendary place. We enjoyed a perfectly crafted Daiquiri and Aviation, savoring not only the cocktails but also the unique atmosphere ,a real journey back in time within modern history. Many thanks to Matteo and the whole team of three for making our evening so memorable.

Fantastic little place o the corner of the famous Las Ramblas. None of your pre made cocktails here. Fantastic service from professional cocktails makers and drinks with a punch. 81 euro for 6 drinks (between 2) and left feeling merrier than when we entered.

We stopped in for an after dinner cocktail and immediately enjoyed the aesthetic and vibe here. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. They are a true craft cocktail bar with some very highly trained bartenders, who make some fantastic, historic cocktails. They use top notch ingredients to hand make each drink and the flavors are stunning! Check them out sometime, but keep in mind that they are very small inside and can only seat about 12 people at a time.

Putting on my "pub-reviewer glasses," as this place is no regular restaurant, it has to be reviewed from a different perspective—the perspective of the pub. And it's great. On quiet days, it's the perfect, authentic place to go for a Guinness and some somewhat "traditional" English dishes. Don't look for tortilla de patatas here. On match days, this is pure entertainment. The crowds go wild, with healthy sportsmanship—most of the time. The service is always agreeable, and most of the staff are from abroad, so it's always nice to hear a proper English accent. This being an Irish pub, I should probably say a proper Irish accent. I'm just happy it isn't Spanglish. The place looks authentic, it's comfortable, it's clean, and it's a great place to get responsibly drunk while enjoying some rugby.

Oh my goodness this was a gem of a find. On a recent trip to Barcelona my Cousin found this place and a bunch of us wandered in during the day. Robbie, who is the owner was so wonderful. He arranged for my entire family who were on vacation (23) to come there for our last dinner in Barcelona. The dinner did not disappoint. I had the Irish stew with which was probably the best Irish stew I ever had and I had a bite or the Shepherd pie which was amazing as well. No one was disappointed in their meal! Thank you so much Robbie for being a great host and good luck in all your endeavors.

We went to watch the Barcelona game on Saint Patrick’s Day, so the atmosphere was great. The bar has a really authentic and nice vibe, with a good variety of food and drinks. However, I found the food a bit bland (I tried the filet mignon and the hamburger.) I’d come back to watch games, but I’d probably have dinner somewhere else first.

Surprisingly spacious restaurant for it's location, this gem has a beautiful setting inside with open view to the outside as well. The service was fast and the waiter did not rush us, giving us time to consider several options. My husband ordered the steak and I had the shepherd's pie, the serving was tasty and filling. We ended up adding the Irish apple tart, it was delicious. Thanks to the staff and owner's at Dunn's, it was a lovely last night in Barcelona.

I like Guinness and think this is one, if not the best Irish pub in Barcelona, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices!

I had wine and some appetizers with my friends. The vibe was great, the staff were super friendly and our waiter gave us good suggestions in what to drink. The appetizer was delicious! The is a must try. The food is a bit expensive, mas super worth the money and for the wine you have all prices range. I had a great time while there.

If you’re going to go to one restaurant in Barcelona, let it be this. We heard raving reviews about this place but we had to try it for ourselves - and it was fantastic. Innovative dishes, experienced servers who are well versed on wine, fair pricing, a wine list larger than you can imagine, and a great funky atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or group of friends, great shareable dishes and seasonal menus. We asked our server to recommend a wine based on our personal tastes and price point and he came back with a delicious orange wine that really set the tone for our meal. We loved every aspect of this dinner and you absolutely need to go here.

Still one of the favorites to re-visit for good wine and food. Vegetarian options are quite limited, but they’re great - excellent play with fresh ingredients and dressings! On a pricier side in terms of what you pay to what you get, but it’s a treat!

We had a great experience and the staff was very welcoming. We were informed that the reservation guarantees us the table for two hours but luckily we had the table for more like 3.5 untill the entire venue closed. I had plenty of wonderful surprises, the greates were the amazing duck hearts, I can't wait to go there again. The best dish was probably the roastbeef and mussels with home made mayo, a wonderful re imagination of the traditional vitello tonnato

Amazing place, nice rustic decoration, misleading but crazy amazing logo and the staff (except one angry-speed lady) was very pampering. Prices are not crazy and the music is pretty cool. I will bring all my visitors here.

I usually walk into any restaurant with the mindset that every place starts at 5 stars - it’s up to them to stay there or work their way down. Even when mistakes happen, a simple acknowledgment and sincere apology can go a long way to keeping that top rating. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn’t come close to living up to its hype. We were a large group of 14, and I asked our waiter to prepare a selection of tapas based on his recommendations. From the start, it felt like he wasn’t really listening. Things went downhill when we moved on to the mains. We inquired about the size of the pork “steak” and were told it was a 180g portion, sliced nicely. We clearly asked for 13 individual dishes of that main. What we received instead were 6 plates to share. When we pointed out the mistake, the waiter didn’t acknowledge it, he was defensive, even arrogant, rather than helpful or apologetic. The wine experience was equally disappointing. We requested a specialist to guide us through the selection. After a long discussion about preferences and notes, three bottles were brought out for tasting. Despite our feedback and the fact that several at our table are experienced wine drinkers, the choices completely missed the mark. It felt like our input was dismissed rather than understood. These two major issues, combined with a lack of accountability and professionalism, cost the place two stars. Mistakes happen, but failing to own them shows a lack of respect for the guests and the experience. It’s a real shame, because the venue and atmosphere are fantastic, clearly a lot of potential. But good staff make or break a restaurant, and this time, poor service overshadowed everything else. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the training and attitude of the team for future guests. Visit 02/09-2025

My parents had been to the fairy bar years ago and on a recent trip to Barcelona my first time they were eager to find it and show me inside , situated off las rambla near the wax museum, hidden in the corner a lil gem , a cute and quirky bar with whimsical decor , they had a drink and I looked around

An original place for food and drinks that imitates the forest and has a soothing effect. If you're in the area, definitely come and experience this, but there are some downsides. Quite crowded, waiting in line for drinks and food because it is self-service and ignorance of it for the guests (only after waiting 10 minutes for service did I realize that you order on a sledge and you carry the drinks to the table yourself, while they bring the food).

Cava and late night girl dinner was beautiful. Food was hot and fresh!!! The vibe is organic and magical. Staff was friendly, best to approach them if you need something. Don’t be shy, and mingle with others in this venue. So fun and very chill!

El Bosc de les Fades is like stepping into a fairytale. This bar feels like a secret enchanted forest that transports you to another world. The atmosphere is absolutely magical, perfect for escaping the city buzz or impressing out-of-town friends. The drinks are reasonably priced, and while it’s more about the experience than the cocktails, everything we tried was tasty and well made. It can get busy, especially in the evenings, but that only adds to the mysterious, lively vibe. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Barcelona and want something totally unique. Highly recommend for anyone who loves immersive spaces and a bit of fantasy with their drink!

This place is so beautiful and has a very calming energy. However, for being so well put together the service and drink options are underwhelming. We came on a saturday around 12:30,,,,it was not too busy and maybe that was the reason for the crabby bartenders? They just made it seem like we were a nuisance. The drink menu was a carbon copy of any regular bar. And charging 10€ for that is extensive. There’s so much potential to create interesting and delicious themed drinks,,,with such a magical atmosphere, why wouldn’t you? I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation. The concept of entering with a code adds a special touch. The welcome and overall theme are great, and the cocktails are both delicious and beautifully crafted. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a couple of hours sipping amazing drinks. However, the service is a bit slow once the order is taken, preparation is quick, but getting someone to take a new order takes longer than it should. They could definitely increase sales if the staff were better trained. Other than that, this spot is absolutely worth visiting whenever you get the chance!

One of the best hidden bars in the beart of Barcelona! On weekends, you might have to wait a little in a queue to be seated but I definitely recommend it. The cocktails are so nice and the whole concept of going into a barber's place then saying a secret word to be able to enter the bar, is in intself an experience worth the visit 😍

The cocktails were okay, they look good. Just a little long waiting time to get in, inside is nicely done but the chairs are so uncomfortable to sit and really dark you can’t read the menu almost. Really low chairs good for 1 drink but not for a long time to sit. They were friendly.

I’m giving five stars because the place has hardly changed for hundreds of years. It’s basically a time machine that takes you to a completely different era and culture. There are glasses on the walls from alcohol companies that no longer exist. The place is also famous for its green absinthe, but we didn’t try it. Drinks are a bit pricey compared to the nearby bars, but they are delicious. The ceiling has clearly never been fully repaired and is literally falling apart. There is intentionally uncleaned dust on the shelves, which I find quite unhygienic.

We visited Bar Marsella on our first night in Barcelona, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. The bar has a nostalgic, old-world charm that sets it apart from your usual spots. We tried absinthe in the traditional way, along with a couple of cocktails, and even ended up buying a bottle of absinthe to take home! The bartender was incredibly friendly, and we had a great chat with them, as well as with some of the locals who were so warm and welcoming. It was a perfect mix of good drinks, great company, and a unique atmosphere. If you’re looking for a bar with character and history, this is the place to be.

Nice atmosphere and low light. Very quite to have a chat with friends or couple. Several brands of gin. You can either have a gin&tonic, gin cocktails or other cocktails. Service is nice and helpful, and they know how to recommend. Nice outfit too. :) They serve a small glass of water from the start. Worth the try!

After going to the #3 and #5 bars in the world, my husband and I agree that the drinks at Bobby Gin are on par, if not better (especially in taste and range). Excellent presentation. Plus, it’s much more accessible and affordable. Good ambiance as well. Hidden gem!! Bartender is a genius and has great recommendations. Must visit.

I have visited this bar several times in the past and often brought friends visiting Barcelona here to enjoy a drink and a pleasant conversation. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, an unpleasant situation occurred. A local customer sitting next to us asked us to keep quiet because we were speaking Chinese and, in his opinion, too loudly. While we are here first two hours there’s no complaining from others. The owner of the bar supported his request. As international visitors and minorities in Barcelona, we sometimes encounter situations that make us feel unwelcome. This experience has left a negative impression, and regrettably, I will not be returning to this place. after the bar reply I need to add one more : The bar owner made no effort to understand the situation and immediately sided with a local customer, insisting that we were the problem. This was extremely unfair, and it felt like clear disrespect toward us as Asian women. I cannot recommend this place.

We visited Eldiset on my birthday evening and had one of the best dinners! Delicious food made from top-quality ingredients, perfect for sharing. The gin and tonic was the best I’ve ever had, beautifully presented as well. Special mention goes to the bartender’s service—he was extremely kind, clearly very knowledgeable about alcohol, and helped us perfectly with our choices! I highly recommend!

There were few places we went to more than once while spending a month in Barcelona, but Eldiset was one of them. From the atmosphere to the food and service, it was all lovely. I highly recommend!

Atmosphere is amazing! The restaurant is wine oriented and they know their wines. They suggested two Spanish red wines, and they recommended a tasting. The food is really well balanced and the flavours are mouth watering. Highly recommended!

I ride without a reservation at 4 PM. For the first time that day. The food was so good upon my return to the hotel my partner and sister decided they also wanted to go back that evening. Both visits were phenomenal. The service was great the food was great the location is in the trendy area and the wine was outstanding. The prices are completely reasonable and the portion size is just right. I recommend getting the guacamole dish with the Parmesan bass crusty bread I also recommend the spicy sausage and goat cheese. Also we had the beef tartare along with the hummus and carrots. Which were pleated like a piece of art. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Barcelona to come to this establishment.

Remarkable bar with swinging lamps that complete the groovy atmosphere. The cocktails are one-of-a-kind and taste outstanding. I’ve been there multiple times and I can say the place is filled with passionate, dedicated and enthousiast employees. Later in the night, it turns into more of a disco. Good for small groups of people, as there are not many seating areas.

Must go if you’re in Barcelona! Gaia, Nicholas and Matteo and the other bartenders were awesome. They have such fun and delicious drinks, amazing crepes, and an awesome atmosphere. Excellent bar. The bartender David was supremely knowledgeable, helpful in curating drinks to our taste, and a great conversationalist. Absolutely terrific experience. It was quite a slow night when I arrived, which is to my preference, but I know some customers might push down the “atmosphere” meter a point for an empty bar. However, I’m not sure you would want to come in at a busy time as the bartenders here take their time in making the drinks and are quite the perfectionists, so expect longer wait times for drinks if the bar is full.

Great bar for classic cocktails and some great signature ones. Service by our bartender, Azul, was outstanding. The ambience is also very classic. They have a good whisky selection, and the selection of gin is kept under zero degrees. One of Barcelona’s musts!

Just an amazing cocktail bar. The friendliest staff and a really unique menu. Our cocktails had quirky ingredients like shaved truffles, gold leaf and kombucha. But it’s not just fancy ingredients thrown together. The flavours are combined expertly. The atmosphere was always excellent here, great music and a cool ambience. The little bar snacks were always appreciated, especially the spiced olives. It’s not cheap, but neither are most good cocktail bars in Barcelona. A perfect spot on a romantic evening. Probably not suitable for large groups.

A low-key, underground spot with grungy charm - graffiti, stickers, and a no-frills feel. A solid local bar that hasn’t been overrun - worth checking out if you’re nearby and in the mood for something relaxed and unpretentious.

Wow what a cool bar! Visited here with a party of 4 and instantly loved the vibe. Awesome decor and laid back iconic hip hop on in the background. The service is brilliant, very friendly and they were very prompt with the table service and our drinks came quickly. Drinks were great too. We all loved visiting this bar when we were in Barcelona and I will definitely be back anytime I'm in this amazing city again.

So we actually really liked this place, it’s very whacky and had cool vibes, until a female bartender completely ruined our experience. The service by the French bartender was great. He had great chat and cocktails were awesome. Albeit, our experience was destroyed when the girl behind the bar shouted at us for laughing too loud. Now my wife and I have major anxiety when it comes to being too loud or standing out in public, so being too loud is not in our nature. It was incredibly unnecessary and over the top, we then left soon after our drink. It’s a shame as we would have easily stayed for an extra hour or longer had that not happened. This is a good place if you want a good whisper!

The vibe in this bar is definitely an unforgettable vibe. The old school hip-hop and R&B and rap music made me feel at home in California. The drinks were just as good and the bartenders are absolutely amazing. They were all great and so welcoming. The place is definitely a vibe and it is a chill vibe to talk and meet travelers from all over the world there. I think it definitely deserves the reputation of being in the Top #50 bars because it really is a unique vibe with the music is a no-brainer if you ever visit Barcelona.

7 euros now for a pint of Maisels beer..no air con inside - it is boiling hot and i feel so bad for the staff to work under these horrible conditions. The bar is dusty and dirty, no toilet paper, no soap, dust everywhere, tvs dont work - no music. Honestly, I used to come to this bar just because it was convenient and they serve something different than Estrella which is a relief in barcelona..but now, I won't come here anymore with their price hike of 7 euros.

Really nice staff. Beer didn’t taste like the lines had been cleaned in a while and inside the bar is about 400 degrees centigrade. Nice terrace though and the guy working was mega sound. Good choice of beers too.

Superb friendly service and a good selection of drinks

They have good beer, it's at a great location. I went there with a friend last night and there was an absolute tool serving the tables outside. We were shocked he seemed to care so little. He was staring at his phone the entire time we were talking to him, he moved slower than a tortoise, he brought us change all crumpled up and threw it down all the while never looking at us once. Where did they find this guy?

This bar looks very like an English or Irish pub. The staff is very nice and they are always ready to pull you a pint. It really has the aspect of the traditional English Pubs - the layout, furniture and even the smell (I don't know how they do this). I really like this place, it was a pity that I haven't stayed for long.

A very elegant and intimate cocktail bar nestled in the Barcelona Edition. The menu is focused around the Punch concept and the drinks we tried were very well balanced. If you want, you can play billiard while you sip your drink. They serve some tasty bar snacks until late.

A great bar and one of the best in Barcelona. The room is warm, comfortable and welcoming. The layout is great with a pool table, a number of comfortable sofas and chairs and a beautiful bar. Really the best and worth staying at the hotel to be able to visit this bar.

We were a group or 8 people and all of us loved it. Great music and cocktails! The service is some of the best I’ve received in Barcelona. Very cozy, beautiful interior, and there is a pool table which is a plus. And it sounds silly…but they give you free water which is not common in Barcelona. I really love this place.

Really enjoyed the Punch Room, we were lucky and had most of the bar to ourselves but in most cases it's full and you need to get in before it gets busy. The drinks and service were fantastic and I've never been disappointment with the Edition hotels in London and now Barcelona.. Will be returning!

The food is good and the portions are normal. Staff is quite hectic but really nice. Prices are reasonable, normal for Barcelona. The only thing is that it was quite cold downstairs where we were sitting, for a little while is fine but for a meal over 20 min is a bit too cold.

It's a great pub location that offers more than just the normal pub menu. There is an item for everyone on the menu here. The food was very well priced for the portion you got. Everyone in the group of 7 ordered something different, and we were all impressed with the food. I would recommend this place for sure.

Interesting restaurant/bar with an interesting menu and vibe. I had the mini burger and it was ok. Had very interesting photos that looked like pictures of families with slaves and their masters which brought up some questions but ok. Service was good but nothing spectacular. Mostly western music with the one artist with a guitar who performed.

Been there for a corporate dinner/game watching in the basement; felt vicarious embarrassment the whole time we were there. What could have been a cozy pub (the space is wooden and well, spacious) looks more like a cringe-worthy exhibition of photos and posters glorifying British colonialism in Africa. The food didn't improve the impression - the Margherita I got was, without exaggeration, THE worst Margherita I've had in my life. It tasted like cheap store-bought frozen pizza (possibly was) that was made even worse by letting it sit in the oven until the crust turned hard and the cheese brown and crispy. Nachos weren't the worst I had, but the cheese was over-baked here as well. The only reason for an extra star is our server for the night, Alejandra, who was very sweet and showed marvelous hospitality despite working in a place like that (and serving people like us :)). The booze selection (whiskeys in particular) is also quite long.

Really well priced. Wings were good. Mozzarella sticks were good. The Mac and cheese with chicken and buffalo sauce was absolutely unreal. I would highly recommend coming here if you’re unsure on where to go for food. It’s a really chilled vibe.

This is a great spot to watch games - friendly staff, an easy-to-navigate game schedule online, and the ability to reserve for groups of six or more. The menu is well-suited for sharing, and they speak English, which makes the experience even smoother for non-locals. The beer selection is excellent, though at busy times, getting a drink can take longer than expected. It seems like they might benefit from having one more person behind the bar during peak hours - it’s more a matter of capacity than service quality, which is otherwise very warm and efficient. It would be great to see a few more healthy options on the menu. On my last visit, the salad had sold out, which was a bit disappointing. That said, I’d definitely come back - it’s a solid choice for catching a game with friends.

Loved it! Excellent hazy IPA 6.5 ABV…can’t remember the name…#10. Quesadilla was outstanding. Prices were excellent. Couldn’t ask for more after a day of traipsing through Eixample.

Delicious chicken wings, although not as spicy as I feared it would be. If you like even a little spicy the mango habanero are perfect, not as intense as it might seem. Great environment to hang out, kind of noisy, but within reason. Warning: Do not order the burgers, they are dreadful. This is just not the place for them.

From Pittsburgh PA, fantastic wings and great Hefeweizen beer! Definitely recommend it if you're looking for food while traveling to make you feel at home.

I'm not really a bar person but this place was recommended to me for the tapas, particularly the patatas braves. The tapas were ok, nothing too special. Service and pricing were also ok. You might need to wait in line to get into this establishment.

Have you ever left a restaurant hungry❓ I bet you have, unfortunately. 😓 But have you ever felt the need to go to another restaurant to finish your meal? 🥺 That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I had been invited to a place and, not only was the quantity served low, but the food was so bad that we decided not to ask for more and we went to a tapas place from my bucket list a few blocks away: Senyor Vermut. The place looks like an old school bar, with really cool vibes. 🤩 And it seems people like that, cause the room was packed and there's a huge sign (actually there are 2 or 3 😅) at the door asking you to wait to be seated. These signs are not subtle and they didn't make me feel welcome, TBH. 🤨 Nor did the first contact with the waitress, even though she ended up being very nice. In fact, her service was very efficient and, even though it was rush hour, she took the needed time to help us choose. 🙏 We shared bravas 🥔 and torreznos 🥓 (fried pork belly stripes). We picked the torreznos cause this is what the server recommended and it was a good recommendation: they were tasty, not greazy and not too chewy nor too hard. 👍 And we ordered the bravas cause the place is famous for their bravas. They were good, even though I like the potatoes better when they're softer and sweeter and I like the sauce a bit stronger (this one was kinda strong on the garlicky side, not that much on the spicy side). Last but not least: less than €3 for a portion of bravas is a bargain nowadays. 🥳 Overall, the price was fair: we paid €15 for 2 tapas, 1 croquete and 2 soft drinks. Now I need to go back to try their entrees, cause it's not only a tapas spot. 👏 . . . Quality & taste: 9/10 Quantities: 9/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Originality: 6/10 Ratio price / quality: 9/10 Service: 8/10 How I felt afterwards: 9/10

We came in on a very busy night, but the service was super quick, not to mention the servers were all very friendly. They did their best to communicate with us in English, gave recommendations and accommodated all our questions. The tapas came out freshly made and well seasoned, probably some of the best we've tried in Barcelona. Do ask for their desserts when you dine in!

Senyor Vermut's patatas bravas surprised me – nice spicy kick, perfectly cooked, and great value. A solid for quick bites and drinks.

Bravas not my favorite but not bad either, the drinks were nice! Service could be a tad nicer in my opinion. Nice atmosphere inside!

10/10 Bravas for an incredibly cheap price. Calamari were also 10/10. Truite/tortilla was a bit dry for my taste and everything else was ok. My recommendation would be to get the bravas, they are delicious, seriously spicy, and under €3 which is just ludicroud

They don’t accept reservations, so expect to be waiting in line for 20/30 minutes because it is usually very crowded. You will find typically Spanish food such as croquettes, Spanish omelette, “flamenquillos”, among others. To drink, the vermut is a MUST. Is like red wine but sweeter. It comes with ice and two olives. Good place to hang out with friends. BTW, they have some tables outside with a 45/ 60 min limit per customer.

Typical Irish bar, nice staff and good food! Nothing was dry, beer was cold and music was on point. Rarely had this kind of experience in a pub. Only critique would be the seats that were slightly ripped in the back corner, but in my opinion it just adds to the ambience of a nice bar. Prices were alright, going around 45 euros for a couple beers and food for three lads. Much love

We visited here on St Patrick’s Day. Lovely Irish barman, he gave us free hats and T-shirts to wear ☘️ We also tried green coloured Kopparberg! Very lively atmosphere. Seats inside & out. Definitely recommend 🍻

Selection of beers is huge, awesome stuff to try. Main problem is service and owner, they treated us like racists. Only local people where welcomed and they were assigned to the tables aside of big line in front of this spot. They told us that we need to wait like 20+ minutes for the table, but after 40 minutes they still didnt assigned us to any table. We ma aged to sneak in and sit with someone that already was sitting in there. Shouldnt happen to guests and we are realy in bad mood after that kind od treatment. Popped in by chance after cruising the La Rambla district on a hot day. Got a really cold (thank goodness!) IPA beer and sat outside people watching and having a laugh with a cold beer in hand. The decor inside is fab! Cocktail bar, stage for live music, dark and woody with moody lighting. Lots of little nooks and crannys. Barstaff super friendly and actually really smile, not fake 'oh here's another tourist' smile, but genuine. Cheers! 🍻

We really liked the atmosphere, and we enjoyed the music, which in that case was Revival dance We also really appreciate that there is irish high-quality live music programmed, eventhough we couldn’t see it on that occasion cause we went after the show. We liked the service (very welcome that the staff can speak Catalan and Spanish, as not everyone who visits speaks English). And wonderful the space itself: the inspirating affirmations and proverbs at the walls and all the details We will repeat next time to enjoy one of the scheduled traditional concerts

The guy outside with a glasses and semi bald head (i dont know if he’s security or not) was throwing accusations about me that they have complaints but he doesn’t even tell me what is all about. I never been quicked out by any of security so how can i had those complaints. And also he doesnt even know my name so how can he even sure that im the one who made something inside the club? If 3 weeks ago i was there, we can check the cctv so that he can prove to me that i did something inside the pub. Sometimes they’re being entitled.

Didn't eat so can't give rating. This is a great place. We went early so benefitted from Guinness at about €5. I think the people we spoke to were the owners ( great people ). I think from taking to them it has a great atmosphere later on in the night.

Had the pleasure of having a drink in Scobies yesterday what a great bar great owner who was working when I popped in, it has to be the cleanest bar I was ever in , great atmosphere and customer's . I am looking forward to my next visit. Sorry I can't remember the owners name. 10 out of 10.

The Guinness is the real deal, or as close as you can get without going to Dublin. The staff is fantastic. The atmosphere is fun and easygoing. Everyone has a good time here.

Showed pictures of my passport, had my brazilian ID with me and my student ID, all of them proving that i’m 19. I was denied service and the manager was extremely rude to me and my friends, threatening to kick us out and call the police.

When ever I travel I always tell my wife we should visit an Irish bar as the atmosphere and service are second to none, we had been out and about in Barcelona walking for miles on Saturday when we stumbled across Scobies, great lads behind the bar, fair banter and chat and before I knew it I was three beers in despite only stopping for one. Great place and will definitely visit again when in Barcelona, I did not mark down a score for food as we had plans so only stopped for a Beer, but my son had Tayto's crisps which are best.

Atmosphere was good not until they made my drink order wrong. Waiting for the drinks for soooo long but they managed to get it wrong. I ordered sangria de cava but gave me sangria de tinto de vino. When I asked to correct the mistake, they wouldn’t admit their mistake and instead was told to come back again after 5 mins(?????). Then the other lady was dismissive and rude saying they don’t refund or change order, even if the glass slipped from your hand and it breaks, once you paid and you got your drink, they can’t do anything about it. But since she was doing it “out of courtesy” she gave me agua con gas I was asking in return instead of sangria de cava I initially wanted. Bravas, so and so. Nachos are ok. If they can’t handle high pressure job from the rush of the crowd, maybe hire more personnel because the service is suffering. Customers are suffering from the bad service. And more importantly, it’s funny for a sports bar to lose signal for champions league. Honestly! We had to sit and watch from our phones.

A must visit when in Barcelona. Alex and Sergei are great and currently revamping the place. If I lived here this would be my go to bar. Visiting from the US they had a lot of Halloween decor so it was very festive. Great beer selection. Lots of tv’s so would probably be a great place to watch sports as well.

One of the most pleasant pubs in Barcelona. A great selection of beers on tap, and recently they've expanded their selection to include bottled Belgian beers (and several non-alcoholic varieties, if you're not looking for a hangover in the morning). They also now have a fantastic selection of cold beer snacks, so if you're craving a well-chosen cheese and pickles, you're definitely worth a visit. A special thanks to the bartenders, who not only help you find a drink to suit your taste and mood, but also provide a warm and inviting conversation. Love you, guys!

I’ve been coming here for years, and it remains one of my favourite cocktail bars in Barcelona. The cocktails are excellent, with a wide and creative selection, all served with real professionalism. The setting is small and intimate, with leather seats and a lovely bar area (8 seats) that’s perfect for drinks with friends, there are a few candlelit tables that also make it an ideal spot for couples. What I appreciate most, though, is the wonderful service. Every visit, the team has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They give thoughtful recommendations and clearly enjoy sharing their knowledge (thanks Matthias!) The drinks menu is impressively global. For example gins - I’ve tried Irish, Black Forest, and Finnish options, and enjoyed a great non-alcoholic cocktail! Can’t wait for our next visit!

One of the best Bars in Barcelona. I am definitely going to return there, once I am in Barcelona. The barmen are very good, friendly, communicative and explain everything to you. The selection is great and the menu is quite long. You will definitely find something that will fit your taste. Ask the barman if you are not sure and do not know what to choose. Great Ambience, wonderful music and delicious/well-prepared/beautiful cocktails. A place to spend a wonderful evening with family, friends or boyfriend/girlfriend. Highly recommended! P.S. I tried the “Al Capone” – their creative twist on a Negroni – and it was exceptional. Wonderfully balanced, with just the right mix of bitterness and depth. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit spot for cocktail lovers — The Original Old Fashioned - Cocktail House truly lives up to its name.

Alejandro and Carlos were fantastic and went above and beyond to give us a great experience. My drink was both beautiful and delicious! They made sure I understood the menu and concept of the bar. Alejandro even translated for us when my friend forgot her phone in our taxi! I’m amazed by this place and we’ll recommend it to friends who visit Barcelona :)

Very cool, moody bar in Barcelona. The interior design and very neat and feels like a speakeasy. We went out of our way to make this stop a second time coming from the states, because they "don't work off a menu, we make unique drinks based off what you like". Unfortunately was returned 6 months later, and they gave us the exact 2 cocktails again, one being a passionfruit sour if you choose whiskey. They clearly have a menu they work off, but try to sound elevated by not giving a menu. The cocktails are good, but the sparkling citrus drink my wife gets is a little bland and my sour was too sweet with passion fruit. Overall unique concept but needs some revamping of ideas on cocktails.

Favourite bar in Barcelona so far. We came around midnight on Friday just before it got really busy. Our bartender was amazing & she completely blew us away with her drinks of choice for us. We stayed for one more & well over an hour or two just chatting & enjoying the ambiance. It really picked up around half 1 but the clientele was lovely, friendly & in good spirits. A relaxed and buzzing place for a drink. Will definitely be back again.

Classic cocktail bar. Red velvet, wood, leather. Understated, slightly worn, decor and expert bartenders in suit vests and white shirts. Got lucky and seated right away in the back lounge area. Whiskey sours, Manhattans, and straight scotch were killer. Hands down a solid call for anyone looking for a straight up real cocktail bar experience with no stupid flash.

Don't see what the hype is about, average old fashioned and spicy margeritas with no jalapeños. Maybe we were too basic for the trendy no menu vibe lol

We stopped into Bar Mariachi because it looked interesting and wow what a great little place. The bartender was so warm and kind and he mixed a mean Mezcalita! There was live music, almost like an open mic night. So many musicians sitting in. We had the best time meeting locals and tourists. Everyone was so great. I hope this place never looses their vibe. There is food but only hot dogs and potato chips, I think.

My favourite bar in Barcelona! Very quaint and hidden among the chaos. The blonde barmaid from the Netherlands is so nice and very attentive, she can speak fluent Dutch, Spanish and English and whenever I come in always gives me a beer within a few minutes. This is something very important as waiting at bars can be a problem when busy but not when she is working! I fully recommend coming to this bar, and as a bonus it's open until almost 3 every day of the week! (Including Mondays!)

Though this isn't really a dive, this is a decent dive bar if you prefer that atmosphere. Loved that there is a Mexican vibe complete with michelada options. Small but cozy. They also have live music occasionally. There are snacks and hot dogs but not true food, this is not really a tapas place despite some descriptions, it is primarily a bar.

Great atmosphere, live music and fair prices. I love this bar, and I’m coming here since 2016. It’s a great place to start the night in Barcelona having a beer with your friends. It’s usually crowded during the weekends so I recommend coming early if you want to be seated. The best spot is in front of the window on the left.

I rarely ever drink cocktails (most are just too much sugar for me), typically I'm a hoppy craft beer or bold red kind of guy. On occasion I love a good old fashioned. My wife found this place on Google and suggested we stop in before dinner, so I kindly obliged. The two cocktails that Kat (our bartender) prepared for me were (I am not even sure why I'm apprehensive to say this)...THE BEST OF MY LIFE. We have many more accolades and nice things to say about Kat but I don't want you to waste your time reading, just go! This is NOT A BAR, it's an experience, a lounge, a vibe which will speak to your soul.

I just found that place by coincidence while walking. I just went inside and mesmerized. Bartenders are awesome, they explaining the story about all the cocktails. Everything home made and super special. Don't leave the Barcelona if you didn't visit here.

We visited College Cocktail Bar for a private cocktail making class which was amazing! Fernando was so welcoming and engaging, we had so much fun. The cocktails were delicious. Excellent spot for a great cocktail to start or end your night. Cost vibe, small area around the bar and a larger mezzanine with comfortable seating. Great menu with some dangerously strong cocktails! Interesting twists on the classics. Experienced it both full and empty and it’s still a great spot to have a few drinks. Highly recommend.

I usually don't like tiki bars, and was unsure how much I would like Collage when I saw the relaxed vibes and tiki-type decor...but the drinks blew me away! They were so unique and well done and inexpensive... the service was attentive, and everyone was having a nice time. It was empty enough to get a nice seat, but full enough to know you're in the right place... I hope not too many people find this spot. I'm definitely going back! The Mel i Mato drink was exquisite. A new favourite!

One of the best places you will ever eat in Barcelona. Small little Spanish tapas and beer place. Come ready to queue. The food is nothing but perfecto. The way they use salt, pepper and olive oil in most of their dishes makes every bit flavourful. Once you are in you don't need to wait long too. Recommend go in groups of 4 or more so can try more dishes. We had mini clams, bamboo shoot clams, squid, omelette, pan fried pork, and others. The beer comes in a small glass and its the perfect to wash down the food. Inside can be a bit cramp but the vibes inside is all cheery and full of happy customers. The tip of the iceberg is the service from all the staff which I dont know how they do it, as they are constantly on the move and don't even have a moment to rest. Laura was one of our servers along with others. She is so cheerful and full of energy and vibes. This place is a MUST eat in Barcelona. 6 stars if I could give 6

This is my top 5 restaurant list. The most perfect tapas I ever had. No reservations, line up and wait and the wait is worth it. It’s crowded within, so count yourself lucky if you get a table. Must try : razor clams (order fast these run out quick), octopus, jamon, mussels, pa amb tomàquet. I can’t wait to go back again.

It was super busy here, we queued 1 hour and a half for this! Even though we came soon after it opened in the evening. Staffs were friendly but they were so busy, people cramming around tables and constantly going in and out. There were a couple of dishes I thought was alright and too salty. My favourite were the parjon peppers with the pork, the parjon peppers were perfectly roasted with pinch of salt. Squid was great as usual, this is Barcelona. Wouldn’t recommend the pasta dish, it was very mid.

This was the best restaurant I tried in Barcelona! The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Everything felt made with care, and the prices were more than fair for the quality you get. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant, it’s one you simply shouldn’t miss when visiting Barcelona.

Very popular and very tasty tapas. We were lucky to get a table, (you couldn’t book in advance) shortly afterwards people were queuing outside, turnover was quite quick though. You are sat very close to other customers and it was busy at the bar but it made for a better atmosphere. Spanish and English menus. Food quite expensive if you have lots of dishes but the food we had was delicious. Every dish was lovely.

Best meal I’ve had in Barcelona. It’s a little pricey for the decor BUT the food is well worth it. Must tries: Iberia pork with pepper Omelette with sausage (it’s like a potato cake) Squid Chocolate with olive oil That’s basically everything we had. Our waiter is also very tentative and it’s the first time I’ve felt tip was warranted.

Unbelievably expensive. Bad drinks, slow service, barely any liquor in the drinks. The only good thing is the cool decor inside. And it is pretty awesome inside, but I have seen the same idea done better in other bars in Europe. The cocktail I ordered was terrible. Allegedly, it was mezcal. It only tasted of apertifs and was unbearably sweet, nothing like a martinez should be. I could not finish it. My companion ordered a basic vodka with soda and it was 11€! There wasn't even much vodka in it. The service was not unfriendly, just very neglectful. Not in a malicious way, just in a careless one. The prices are unreasonable for the experience and quality.

La Confiteria is a cocktail bar with a very intimate atmosphere thanks to the soft lighting and the retro decor. The cocktails are good with balanced in taste. The staff is attentive and willing to advise you in case of indecision as to what may be the most appropriate drink for your taste.

This bar was recommended by a local but we forgot about it until one day when we were walking back to our hotel... We had so much fun here! The bar staff were very friendly and professional. These are true mixologists who are passionate about their craft. The signature cocktails were delightful and I got to try a super top shelf vodka which was poured with such pomp and ceremony that I felt like a princess. I live in London so I didn't find the prices particularly expensive, however, I also didn't buy my own drinks! 😜

Amazing selection of very well made cocktails, including 3 very tasty non-alcoholic options. Very clean, fun and decorated place. Amazingly nice staff. Toilets are clean. Great atmosphere but not too noisy as it’s not too big an indoor seating area.

Billed as a craft beer mecca but only about 5 out of 14 beers on draft were craft; the rest were regular macros you can find anywhere. No craft cans or bottles, disappointing on that front. Nice cozy atmosphere. Didn't order food or listen to the live music so can't comment on that. Overall a middling craft beer destination.

Such a cool place in central Barcelona! Been in the city for three days and for three days I went here in the evening. There's a nice selection of beers, but I also suggest to ask for their vermouth. There a small basement, but with a unique atmosphere, where you can order drinks and, most important things of all, live music! Some evenings were open mic, and all the musicians were really great! An applause also to Laura Roma and her band, such a nice music discovery!

This is my go-to pub in Barcelona. The staff are always friendly, there’s a great selection of beers to choose from, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you can enjoy whether you’re just stopping in for a quick drink or spending the evening with friends.

Multiple craft beers on tap from around the world. Very nice staff. Live music on the lower level is a fun atmosphere. Especially loved the Saturday night jam sessions.

Place was empty when we arrived, which in itself is fine. Staff were so uninterested in us I'm surprised we weren't ignored when ordering - made us feel like a burden. €16 for two pints that you can get elsewhere for multiple euros less is shocking so I can't recommend it on that basis alone. I understand this place is known for its live music. I can't judge it on that for better or for worse as I don't believe any was playing when we were in. But a bar should function outside of its live events. This one didn't.

We had an incredible experience at The Alchemix in Barcelona! The atmosphere was amazing, with every detail carefully thought out – from the decor to the presentation of the cocktails. But what truly made our evening special was our server, Dani. Dani was warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. He guided us through the menu with great recommendations and made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. The cocktails were not only delicious but also beautifully crafted. If you’re in Barcelona, the Alchemix is a must-visit. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Dani, you’re in for a treat!

A great cocktail spot that also serves food. This time we didn’t try the food since we came after dinner, but we’ll definitely do so next time 😁. We went for the cocktails instead — they are on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it, as they’re really unique. The presentation is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. The place has a truly elite, refined vibe.

We walked in and were greeted by the owner, very friendly, and then sat at the bar. The owner was also the head bartender, and he described the entire backstory to the bar, which was super interesting. The cocktails were majestically crafted and simply exquisite! I would highly recommend checking this place out given the high ratings from all major agencies. I will also be coming back here for their exclusive tasting menu (only 6-8 seats per night!)

A bit pricey and it may be some wait if you do not reserve in advance, but 100% worth it! The service was great and the house cocktails were another level, with incredible attention to detail from our barman Simon and the rest of the crew! The atmosphere and decor was also very impressive. I would totally recommend if you are in Barcelona.

We had an amazing experience in celebrating our 25th anniversary in mid May at Alchemix. The creativity of both the chef and the mixologist was astounding. Both the server and the chef spent a great deal of time with us, explaining both the composition of the food and the pairing of the alcohol. Truly, this was one of the most memorable meals we have ever had, Worth every penny!!

We were a group of 40, celebrating Easter with the kids, and organized an Egg hunt behind the woods of the bar. The atmosphere was great, they even provided live music as from 15:30hrs. The food is good enough, what you see is what you get. The staff is friendly, the toilets are clean. The views are stunning, perfect place to have a vermut and easy food.

Good climat, very nice live music and views, but… I asked about somethink to eat for allergiers: gluten and milk free. I knew they were, but the gentlemen were not willing to help.

I give it 5* for the view, tranquility and uniqueness of the place. Perfect way to escape the city which gets more and more crowded with tourists at this time of year. It’s a set menu with one dish - barbecue; so not for vegetarians. And one dessert, crepes. Card board and plastic plates and utensils. However, no need to come for food, next time I come will stick to just the drinks.

I can not really comment on the food or drinks, only the service. I had found this place on Google Maps as was excited to have a drink here after a long walk around the Montjuïc Castle. When we arrived, however, we were told there were no seats available (there were 2 of us). Looking around there were several open tables and when we tried to ask the waitress how long a wait there would be, she just shrugged her shoulders, told us they were full and walked away. I've posted the pictures I took to show the empty tables available when we arrived. Perhaps there were reservations, but had no way of knowing. Really felt as if we were treated poorly because we were tourists. Unless you have reservations here, I wouldn't risk taking the time to walk here as it's a long way to get there and back from the castle when you might not be able to get served.

Cool place! The bartenders were nice but the people serving had a rude attitude even towards kids. Really dumb to work in the service industry if you are going to be so mad at everyone

I don’t understand the bad reviews actually. Of course, this not a place to visit if you want to do some fine dining. Nevertheless, if you want to experience a Spanish BBQ night with live music and good vibes, this is the place to go. I loved every single second yesterday. Definitely recommended and I will definitely come back.

This place felt much more "for locals" than expected, which is a good thing! Only one meal was served, a great bread + salad + sausage + chicken / pepper skewer platter, with side dish options of corn, nuts, or olives. The ordering process is a little obscure (have to know what you're asking for, no menu here!), but it's a pretty popular lunchtime spot. Unfortunately none of the tables with views were available, but the seats were still good enough to enjoy the meal. Star only removed for the obfuscated ordering process, once you know how it works it's fine though!
