Lovely experience. Was able to seat a large group of 7, with reservations. Very friendly and helpful to accommodate an allergy. Lots of good plate options. We ordered a bit of everything to share and had a lovely dining experience. The manager? was able to offer red wine recommendations and we enjoyed the blackberry mojitos.

What a wonderful restaurant! We booked this last minute and were so pleased. A cute dinning area and exceptional service are apparent from the start. We split two appetizers and two entrees plus some wine and bread etc for under 100!!! That’s crazy good value. The food is exceptional! Tomato tartare and grilled eggplant appetizers were creatives d exceptionally tasty and well presented. For mains we had a braised beef cheeks which was served with the creamiest potatoes and ribs! I had been eating all sorts of other parts of the humble Iberian pig, tonight it was the ribs turn. Tasty, fall off the one, melt in your mouth with a very delicious flavour. If the price point agrees with you, go here.

Best meal and service we’ve had in our 4 weeks in Europe! The food was incredible, and the service from Pepo (Philip) and Arthur was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuine. Best Beef Tartar and cheesecake I’ve ever had! The owner was also very gracious and welcoming inviting us to his new bar a couple of doors down, Never, which is equally as great!! Highly recommend Cero 23 for an unforgettable dining experience.

This place was insane, every dish was perfectly balanced, honestly Michelin-level stuff. You have to try the mushroom risotto and foie gras ravioli, both were unreal 😍 The risotto’s one of those dishes you could eat every single day. And shoutout to Nadia, she was super lovely and made our lunch even better!

The food was lovely. The atmosphere was wonderful, we were greeted and tended to by a lovely server. The portions are not large so if you are looking for a full stomach you’ll have to expect to spend more. The food was prepared very quickly and the prices were reasonable. Getting there on foot was a bit odd as we did not expect it to be in such a domestic part of the town but it was okay nonetheless.

Wow!!! What a lovely dinner. The food is outstanding. Service is stellar and I will be dreaming about the blackberry mojito for a long time. If you are in the area I highly recommend this spot.

My wife and I had „a date“ at the Cera 23 and enjoyed a very nice evening! The service was very kind but casual, nice Cocktails we started with and from the starters to the dessert a deliclious, creative cuisin. We loved the food, the place and especially the people running the Cera 23! Finally when we asked for the bill, I was positively shocked (as a Swiss guy). Very good value for money! If we come back to Barcelona, last time was 16 years ago, we surely return.😉

We had to queue 35 minutes because we were in 6. Once we got in, I personally was disappointed by the ambiance and vibe. The staff is friendly and the cocktails below average. Super sweet and feels like I am back in the 90s. Moreover you need to wait 25 minutes for a cocktail.I would not return.

Excellent cocktails in a beautiful, old hacienda. However, each time we have visited, the service is extremely slow. They do not serve any food either. Just a side of popcorn, so don't arrive hungry!

What a discovery! This is a nice place with a large outdoor area for the clients. It is actually a house turned into a bar. I like it and would visit again.

Absolutely gorgeous space, lovely waiters and no loud music, so you can enjoy your conversation (or writing) while sipping a beautifully served Cava alongside some popcorn to keep your blood sugar levels at hangover prevention stage. I had to wait for a bit to get in on a Friday night but was totally worth it. Highly recommended if visiting Barça and in need of a non-touristic, calm late-night break.

The only bad part it's that you have to wait a lot to enter. We had been there at 0.00 and it took 30 min to enter. Once inside we never got asked to leave or to consume more. The place it has tables outside in a cozy yard and also inside. I had been in the low floor but it seems it's possible to go also to the upper floor. Inside the bar it was very calm and not crowded at all, the music was soft and working as background and allow you to have a conversation. There are sofas for groups and high chairs for small groups or pairs. The high chairs are comfy to being a high chair. The bartenders were also very charming and welcoming. We ordered a Zombie and a Tropical Punch. The first was a bit more alcoholic than I expected but it was very good. The tropical one was very pleasant and fruity.

The place is stunning. Staff very gentle, polite and also speak English. Dogs are accepted in terrace which is a plus. The drinks are super well done and served. The tastes are marvellous (very much recommended). Therefore the first round of drinks took nearly one hour from the time they were ordered to the time they arrived, the lack of music made the one hour waiting to be felt very long. When the drinks were served we already ordered the second round, and they arrived way after our previous drinks were finished. So this is my main tip for you. Nonetheless, this place is a must to go.

The food was absolutely delicious! The tacos were packed with flavor, the nachos loaded generously with toppings, and everything tasted so fresh. The sauces on the side added the perfect kick. We went there two times during our visit in Barcelona! Both were with reservation so we sure have our table. Unfortunately the tacos were really bad and we didn’t enjoy them at all. Instead of the nachos and quesadillas that was really tasty!!! I totally recommend them! Frozen margaritas is the reason that we went the twice! Even though the bar is situated in tourist area, by my opinion the staff was not truly satisfied, that I was there and could not speak Spanish. Bar was almost empty and waitresses weren’t giving proper attention to me and my friend. Margaritas were kinda weak, there wasn’t much alcohol in it. Even though the price was nice, I do not recommend it.

Sometimes it's interesting to read previous reviews before writing your own. Scrolling down, there are comments about the virtual queue outside the door and about the quality and price of the cocktails. I can't comment on the virtual queue, as I arrived at the bar very early and was the second guest to be allowed in. However, I didn't notice any discontent while waiting, and the Romanian who was responsible for organizing the queue was extremely friendly. However, I can certainly comment on the cocktails, as I am familiar with many bars and the industry. For me, it was the most enjoyable evening I have ever had in a bar. Starting with the fantastic service from our bartender Dorian, to the wonderful menu, the creativity of the cocktails, and, above all, of course, the taste. In terms of presentation, I have never experienced anything even remotely similar. Whether it's the best bar in the world is for those who have been to every bar in the world to judge, which I haven't. But I only know of one bar in Singapore that comes close to the inspiration and quality of Paradiso. Cheers, guys (and gals)

Inside it’s tropical and stylish, buzzing with energy, with plenty of bar seating and group tables. The backbar looks sharp, though the music felt a bit too quiet. Drinks: 8.5/10 Recommendation: The Cloud, Secret of Java The menu is creative and heavily designed, with imaginative glassware, bold garnishes, and striking presentation. Every detail leans into spectacle. The drink list is big, but flavors and balance don’t match the level of show — presentation clearly takes priority over substance. Service: 7/10 Water is served right away. Staff are friendly, professional, and attentive. The real drawback is access: no proper reservations, long wait lines, and an unreliable QR waitlist system. Prices are above average for Barcelona. Paradiso was ranked #1 on The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2022 and is currently #10. While the presentation is truly unique, the overall experience doesn’t feel like “one of the world’s best bars.” It wouldn’t make my personal Top 50.

Can’t make this place up, where you open a perfectly normal oven door into a secret bar, you feel like you’re stepping into John Wicks secret society of assassins. The menus are alligator leather covered books with fancy glowing menus. Each drink is based on planets in the solar system, an astrologist dream. The drinks are unique to the name and description, the service was great and professional. Prices and medium to high end for this experience!

I'm not a fan of cocktails, but Paradiso is a worldwide reference (used to be the top 1 few years ago!) so I decided to go for it. Getting in is already an experience (hidden door in a small grocery shop) and once inside the decoration is amazingly impactful: resembles a jungle In a modernist style. Service is also extremly good: knowledgeable, smart, funny, efficient... they hava it all! Cocktails were surprisingly the worst of the whole experience or, at least, the ones not mitting the bar: while most of them were presented in a creative way, too many did not have similar great taste. Recommended though...at least for once.

The fact that this bar was no 1 in the 50 best says it all. A super friendly welcome as soon as you get in, I loved it, you usually find a cold atmosphere in some "exclusive" places, this was totally not the case. The drink list (the menu itself) is pure graphic art and the interiors are amazing. For their prices the cocktails were the best quality/price cocktails I've ever had, (69€ 4 cocktails). About the taste, that's subjective but they were perfect, you could feel all the hard work and study behind them.

I was here first six years ago. I remembered at the time thinking that it was somewhere I would always recommend for pageantry and atmosphere, though at the time I felt as though some of the cocktails were a little unbalanced. This couldn't be further from the truth. The service was excellent, the bar still chic and professional and well cared for. All the drinks were balanced, well thought out, and expertly presented. I love the fact that non-alcoholic cocktails are in the mix with their main drinks- not added as an afterthought to the back of the menu. We had such a brilliant experience here; chapeau Paradiso!

Very special place to try and enjoy Vegan and Vegetarian cuisine. The menu is well though and with interesting dishes with Latin touches. The food was delicious and the staff very kind and helpful! We will come back for sure!

Whenever I visit Barcelona, I have to come to this place. It’s vegetarian gem. I absolutely love their Patacones Malones, it is so so delicious!! They come loaded which is nice and the plantains are perfectly crunchy. I definitely would recommend this dish the most followed by their arepas which are also good! My tip would be to not miss out on their homemade verde and picante salsas, they add really nice flavor to almost all the dishes :)

The best Venezuelan if you are vegetarian. The options are many, prices are decent, and went there with Venezuelan friends who said it was good. Even the beverages are authentic. It has a terrace inside that is open until 22:00 (not further than that, and they remind you constantly). The atmosphere inside is classy 30s, very Berlin-like, and there is always a TV on with stylish animations and video. The place seems also a common Lesbian dating spot (that's what my friend told me) and it is definitely LGBTQ+ friendly.

Delicious vegan food and a fantastic happy hour! The interior is warm and cozy, while the back terrace offers a more relaxed vibe if you’re looking for something quieter.

The portions were quite small and there was not a big variety of dishes, but whatever we tasted was good. The personnel was very friendly. The terrace was a bit warm, but inside it was very beautiful.

Cozy place with delicious sweets and a vast array of drinks. Perfect for brunch but be aware of the possible lineup during the weekend. Pancakes were an explosion of flavor while the avocado toast could use some improvement.

For all of those who love sweet, this is your place, so many option to eat from pancakes, cakes, cookies, all seem equally delicious and you have a big menu to choose from, they all seem to be untraditional or with a twist from well know dishes. Also fast and friendly service.

Positioned in a small square, good tables inside and out. Really great options for food too and nice little cushions on the window sill so you can wait outside for a table. Pictures include, carrot cake pancakes, grilled cheese waffles, avo-toast & avo waffle fruit bowl with banoffe moca all very nice!

Excellent place for chilling or having a proper cafe / meal. The ‘huevos rotos’ are something else, as well as the rest of the food. Good quality in everything. It’s not THAT cheap but is worth it, specially if you are wandering about in El Born.

Worst mojito that I've ever drank. Who makes mojito with white sugar? When l saw the lady who was preparing the mojitos putting white sugar l knew coming to this place was the worst mistake I've made that night. You pay 8€ for a mojito that is definitely not worth it. I will definitely not come back.

A hidden gem. One of my favorite bars in the area, it has both an outside terrace, inside sitting and a cozy nice second stage if you want to keep it more intimate. Love the music and the vibe. Can't go wrong with Lupara.

This bar introduced me to the "Gimlet" cocktail, as the name suggests. It's a simple but rather tasty cocktail, sour, just the way I like it! Also, staff is wonderful, atmosphere is as should be and the location is splendid. Two thumbs up!

Dropped in here for a quick drink with some friends but didn’t feel like staying long. The drinks were just okay, and the tacos needed some seasoning. The bar was completely empty which gave it a weird vibe. That being said, the staff were very polite and accommodating.

A vibey restaurant with delicious food! The staff were also lovely. I forgot the names of my compete meal, but I do know I had the Key Lime Cheesecake for dessert. 😋

Nice mexican place with really good coctails and food! We had a reservation for Saturday night, the service was very fast despite the place being pretty full! The vegetarian bowl was wonderful and the meaty dishes looked great as well! I recommend their fruity margaritas, especially the mango one! The only thing I did not appreciate was the urge for us to leave as soon as we finished and only order one more drink. However I do understand the place was packed. Also, we were paying separately and the staff calculated our bill incorrectly and run to catch us on the street saying we still need to pay about 20 euros more..thats why I only give 4 stars, overall 7/10.

I’ve had the chance to visit many of the world’s top 50 bars, and while this one had a cool atmosphere and a menu design reminiscent of M Bar in Singapore, it ended up being my least favorite. Our group of four each tried a different cocktail, but unfortunately, the flavors didn’t quite land for us. The drinks were overly complex and hard to enjoy—we found ourselves slowly sipping, struggling to finish even after 20 minutes. While I appreciate the creativity, the execution just didn’t work for our taste.

The atmosphere of the place is really amazing. However I didn’t have the best experience there. They changed our table 3 times, each time taking us to a more uncomfortable table. The cocktails were good, but not different to the other cocktails places. They also did not have any appetizers available at the time we tried to order, the only thing available were olives. They do have an amazing presentation of the menu and especial way to show every combination of flavors. I guess it worth the visit for the decor and atmosphere.

I had an overall lovely time at Dr. Stravinsky. After reading all the reviews I was excited to try some lovely cocktails in a great environment. I went as a solo traveller on a Friday evening and was able to get a seat immediately. The place was busy but there were a few empty seats. I absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of the place. From the decor to the menu to the outfits worn by the workers. It was amazing. The drinks I chose were fantastic as well. Very unique and interesting drinks that made me want to try everything, but had to limit myself of course. This isn't your run of the mill cocktail bar. The bartenders were also knowledgeable and will give you good recommendations. My night was going perfectly well until I was ordering my second drink. As I was looking at the menu (for no longer than 2 minutes) one of the bartenders/waiters came up to me to ask for the menu. I was still looking at the menu as it is quite in depth, and said so. This led to a really weird interaction where the bartender wouldn't take no for an answer and was insistent on taking the menu, saying that a new table needed it. We were essentially in a standoff. As a paying customer, this made me feel really weird. I am at your establishment trying to choose a drink, and you want to take the menu from me? This is a very popular bar, not at full capacity, and you're saying you don't have enough menus to go around? That makes absolutely no sense and left a very sour taste in my mouth. There were other patrons in the bar as well who likely had a menu. Why did you not ask any of them for their menu? It left me and a couple of others around me confused as to what just happened. The female bartender came in to save the day, seeing what was happening and asked (in a nicer tone) to take the menu and gave me a few options (which were excellent) Overall I had a good experience here. Fantastic drinks, fantastic atmosphere, with great service from some and weird service from others.

Went on a Monday ~5pm and waited ~10min outside before they let us in. Space was pretty empty, but there’s only two staff working. We got a table for 5 upstairs. The space feels like your stepping into a different time period. It’s a wonderful view at the top overlooking the bar. Menu has a flavour map to help you choose one of their unique cocktails. We tried 7 cocktails mostly from their seasonal menu and liked maybe 2 of them. The flavours are quite complex, strong, and unique. The umami profile is more on the blue cheese spectrum than Asian umami. Exquisite presentation and still fun to try. But if it sounds like a weird pairing, it will probably taste as such. The cocktail itself is well executed and you can tell they put a lot of care into it. I’d definitely go back though. It has the unexpected je ne sais quoi.

One of our favorites in Barcelona. An interesting and talented bar, making very unique cocktails at reasonable prices, and paired with friendly hospitality. Styled like an old pharmacy mixed with an old whisky bar, they aim to create each cocktail with at least 80% homemade ingredients. Their menu is varied, offering a wide range of unique and well-made twists. We enjoyed a coffee and chocolate drink, and a solid Old Fashioned twist, but then we were surprised by a super interesting savory truffle-infused Negroni.

There’s a reason why this place has been in the best 50 bars of the world for many years! Their drinks are unique and everything is made in-house! The way they present the drinks is fantastic (the drinks menu), choosing your drink is very intuitive! I’ve been about times already, and will keep going as long as I’m living in Barcelona!

I went in for a fun experience to wrap up my last day in BCN and it was perfect. Great for groups as it has plenty of comfy space, but just as classy for a lone wolf, which I was that night. The service is great and they take their classic cocktails seriously. I can’t speak for the entire menu and it was my first time. Worth the try late at night when it gets going.

The Dry Martini Bar in Barcelona is a real classic. Elegant vibe, nice tables, and a gorgeous long counter where a charming and friendly barmaid and four bartenders in suit and tie mix up the big international cocktail classics. Even though they’re incredibly skilled, they’re happy to adapt and make variations—like the ones I asked for. They’re always up for a pleasant chat, while staying professional, and it’s a real pleasure watching them shake cocktails with so much energy, charm, and elegance. The perfect mix of hospitality, professionalism, and style. Definitely a temple of the martini!

We went to Dry Martini in Barcelona and really loved it. The bar has such a classic and elegant vibe, and the cocktails were amazing I had the Dirty Martini and personally loved it. This is probably the coolest bar down in the area. The vibes are so chill; ac is a1, music selection 10/10, Adam and yakapor are the sweetest bartenders. You’ll come in and be here for 3 hours haha

Great cocktails and fun bar set in the ancient walls of the old town. Andrea and Nico were so welcoming and helpful. Music and lights made for a fun atmosphere. We only popped in for a couple of drinks but the friendliness waiting staff we’ve met which was so nice.

Great bar with an intercambio on a Thursday evening which is very cool, a great way to practice your English, Spanish or whatever language you feel like! The hosts are friendly and the people too.

Amazing service from Andrea e nico! Super welcoming staff. We reserved karaoke online for an hour. Simple process. Definitely recommend this place for a night out in Barcelona!

During my trip to Barcelona, I stumbled upon this cool bar by accident. On my way to dinner, I helped a couple find their restaurant, only to discover later that the guy was actually the owner of this place. He suggested I check it out, so I did after my dinner. When I got there, he gifted me a drink, showed me around, and even told me about the history of the place. To my surprise, there was a free comedy show happening that night. The place was nicely decorated, the drinks were great, and the vibe was friendly. I had a great time mingling with other guests and never felt bored. I liked it so much that I went back with my colleagues for a company event. We ended up having a blast in the private karaoke room. There was a small mix-up with a staff member - one of my colleagues accidentally kicked him while trying to close the door. The staff member got a bit defensive at first, but once we explained the situation, we all had a good laugh and continued to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the place. Despite the hiccup, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience, and I definitely recommend checking it out for a fun night in Barcelona.

It's a cool looking bar in a really sketchy neighbourhood. We saw a guy get robbed around the corner, so be aware at night. Especially if you're a tourist or woman. We did not feel safe. But cool-looking is about all it is. Really pricey for what you get and quite distant service. It seemed like he would rather talk to his friends/regulars than serve other people. I should note that although the neighbourhood is sketch, the customers are fine. Just normal folks enjoying drinks. The decor is pretty neat, in that cluttered, vintage hipster style. We've seen it a hundred times before and usually it implies a very down-to-earth, laid back vibe or a very hipster one. This seemed to be the latter. Nothing about the interior or drinks reflected the name of the of the bar nor its art deco exterior. It's an overpriced millennial faux-dive bar, lbr. Drinks prices are too high for what you get. Most of the people (mostly men) there are drinking beer, so it's not a craft cocktail place, just a regular bar, and we knew that much going in. It wasn't a surprise. At one point a group of German or Dutch tourists came in, looked around, had one shot and left. We saw the same happen with a group of American(?) girls who came in, had one drink quickly and decided to leave. That seems to be the general consensus -- unless you're a local. It seems really appealing from the outside and online, but in reality, as a visitor, it's not really a welcoming place. They have 4 feature cocktails, not like what I saw online. We were offered no menu so I assume what was on the board was it. All of them seemed too sweet or boring, so I opted for a standard whiskey sour. In all honesty, it was a perfectly respectable sour. Nothing wrong with it at all, but something about the overall vibes was off and we left right after finishing. Totally average "dive" bar. Decent classic cocktail and interesting decor, but maybe not a place to spend a few hours.

Been going here years… it’s amazing, and then not - completely depends who is working that night. Hit and miss. One of the bar staff (arrogant guy with the moustache) is so rude it’s unbelievable. But if you’re in on a night he’s not on the atmosphere is always amazing and the staff really great.

A great bar on Passeig del Born, generally feels like it's less of the younger crowds and attracts more 25+ people which is great, and tends to be less crowded than some of the bars around. Great cocktails!

This was the best Cocktail I've ever tasted! Amerreto Sour😍 The bar is in the trendy Gracia neighborhood and very popular amongst the locals. Must visit if you like Cocktails and in the Gracia area.

I've been going to this bar "regularly" for many years now and it never deceives me. Great cocktails for a great price. The ambience is really nice and the staff have always been really nice to me. There's also a live DJ on some nights. Not to forget that it's located in the great neighborhood of Gracia!

When I arrived, there was somebody playing the guitar, somebody else singing, an intimistic mood was there, everybody was paying attention and silent, that was lovely, and the place in itself was amazing to look at, with many small details that made the difference. For the cocktail party we ordered two monkeys business, and we were not disappointed : lasted very long, tasted for a while, subtle but strong at the same time, all in all a really good cocktail. Next time I'm in Barcelona, first thing I do is to go there !

It’s a nice hidden bar tucked away in the middle of a touristy area, great if you’re looking to escape the noise for a bit. The decor and atmosphere are cool, though there’s definitely room for improvement. Google says they open at 22:00, but they didn’t actually open until around 22:30. I couldn’t order the cocktail I wanted because they were missing a key ingredient. The other drinks were okay, nothing special, and prices are pretty standard, around €13 per cocktail.

Pipa is a hidden gem accessible to Liceu Metro at Plaça Reial. Placd instantly made me feel safe, happy, and at home. Sem at the bar in particular was incredibly kind and welcoming --- his friendliness set the tone for the whole evening. The atmosphere is intimate yet relaxed, perfect for a night out without the chaos. What truly impressed me was their flexibility and skill behind the bar. I asked for a Negroni but with whisky instead of gin, and they nailed it --- smooth, balanced, and deeply flavorful. It takes real talent to adapt a classic so well. I'll definitely be back.

Love this place - great staff, cute decor and good energy. We came on a Wednesday so while it wasn’t a super busy night, we happily enjoyed relaxing on one of the couches and just chatting. The music selection is good and our cocktails were delicious (the menu is pretty extensive). They have a pool table which is fun and the popcorn for the table and fruit infused water are nice touches too. I will definitely be back!

I stumbled upon this place and it was right to my taste. I popped in for a drink, and I was immediately taken with the place. The decor was on point, the music was great, the crowd was stylish, and the drinks were top-notch. The only downside was that it was pretty crowded, making it hard to find a seat. Despite the not so packed house, I noticed several empty seats that remained unoccupied throughout my visit, possibly reserved for later guests who never showed up. The razor clam and the fried lamb chop was pretty good, other than that other food we ordered were so so. The red shrimp carpaccio was a bit salty for our taste. I think Boca Chica and the adjacent restaurant Boca Grande are owned by the same owner as we tried to go to Boca Grande but it was full and the staff took us to Boca Chica but we can order the food from Boca Grande. Cocktail wise was acceptable pretty in the color, but tasted average. Service was friendly and staff speaks pretty good English. The seats are not so comfortable with the table being so low, you have to bend over while you are eating………price wise I would say it is quite pricey for its quality…….

Such a fun and lively market! You can find all kinds of food here fresh fruit, juices, snacks, and tapas. I tried the strawberries with Nutella which is quite safe and they were delicious! The caramelized peanuts were also amazing. I wouldn’t really recommend the empanadas though they tasted a bit old. But overall, it’s a great place to wander around and you’ll definitely find something tasty to try!

An interesting market with ready made seafood, tacos, tapas, paella, juices, fresh fruits, nuts and dried fruits. Also have raw meats and beef. Many people are trying food and drinks enjoying the products. Most of the nuts and dried fruits stalls offer samples when you walked by. Despite the vibrant color and varieties, we are skeptical to try. Juices and dried fruits color are so vibrant suggesting food colouring might be used. Given the summer temperature the cooked food are all pre-packed and placed in room temperature counter, not really feel very hygienic for bacterial growth. Worth a visit however we did not buy anything from there.

Off one of the side streets, Bubo is simply a hidden delight. The cakes look like works of art and the taste and textures amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable, patient, helpful and generous. Would recommend taking a detour to visit and indulge yourselves.

I do recommend the 'jade cake' it is perfect for this summer, the citric of lime, and different texture of it was amazing that compliment to each other. Some of the best croissants I had in barcelona. They have a limited selection, but each flavor is sophisticated and delicious. The croissants are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with generous, flavorful fillings. They were also large enough to be a satisfying breakfast on their own. While the place itself is quite fancy, the pastries are actually quite affordable. I love having breakfast here with friends or people who visit me. Coffee tasted diluted, orange juice lacked the oomph, eggs Benedict needed more salt and balance (everything was texturally soft and mushy), Turkish eggs were decent but the whole dish did not go together well. The ingredients are fresh and portions are generous, but I wouldn’t go back.

We were in Barcelona in May, us and some good friends. We had the good fortune to rent a flat next door to Gigi’s. We tried it the first night and ate there mostly because it was close. But we were hooked after that. We ate there every night we were in Barcelona except for one night when they were packed. When we decided to come back to Barcelona in October, we told everyone we would be going back to our favorite restaurant in Barcelona. We took new friends there and after one night, they were recommending Gigi’s to strangers. We ate there our second night, and unfortunately our last night in Barcelona. Ada was amazing. Friendly, efficient, attentive. The rest of the staff is great too, but we had less interaction with them. The food is amazing. We love the pan con tomate and the albondigas. Our friend couldn’t get enough of the Gigi’s fries. And the sangria is amazing. We had two pitchers of that, both nights.

Very good food! The mushroom truffle croquettes were a standout. And our server Ada provided great service and was very friendly! Great options for vegetarians, a handful of vegan options too.

I have been here twice, first time I tried the “passion fruit pancake” , the only thing I don’t like was the syrup cuz it was quite sour for me, and I was REALLY DISAPPOINTED with the flat white I ordered, which tasted just like a cup of coffee flavored water. However ,the second time I went there, the cappuccino was very nice . But, the “banana pancake” was COLD , I mean not because of the food neither the syrup, just like the pancake cake was being heated inside the microwave before served, I didn’t say anything and finished eating cuz I was starving . Anyway, the service was excellent, the people was really nice and the decorations were great.

The selection of craft cocktails is wide and every drink is unique and special, with an incredible presentation. The bartenders are at the center of attention and constantly interact with the guests. The whole staff is extremely polite, friendly, and highly professional. We were amazed by the cocktails, the service, and the atmosphere! We highly recommend visiting — just make sure to book a table in advance.

Ok we’d heard a lot about this place and it did and didn’t disappoint. The main room has FABULOUS cocktails with a great vibe!!!! The cocktails are craft cocktails with and excellent balance of creativity and flavor. They have a back room, which we got to experience , you can do 10 or 15 courses - all drinks. This I’m afraid is where we were disappointed. It felt very sterile and clinical.Ni music at all and frankly the drinks hit the mark for me, the first 3-4 courses seemed almost the same with strong citrus flavors- I got heart burn. Then we went to some kind of earthy phase… meh… there was only one course I enjoyed and that was the spin on a Bloody Mary. It really missed the mark, I think it was just too creative not taking into account the customer experience. So honestly just stick to the first room. The back room was just too snooty for me. Still uploaded pictures from the tasting but again that’s a hard pass.

We fell for the hype — everyone says Sips is one of the best bars in Barcelona, even one of the best in the world. But honestly, it doesn’t deserve that reputation at all. We were here 2 weeks ago — it’s our little tradition to explore Michelin-starred restaurants, top hotels, and the most talked-about bars wherever we go. But this place… is a complete disappointment. The first time, we waited in line forever, and the cocktails were just ordinary, nothing memorable. I thought maybe it was just bad luck, so we decided to give it another try. This time, we arrived while the bar was still open — and the bartender simply refused to make us a cocktail. That’s not customer service, that’s arrogance. Terrible attitude, completely overrated place that doesn’t live up to its fame. Even the most basic hotel bartender makes classic cocktails that taste better than the ones here — and that’s saying something, considering this place tries to look so fancy. Just awful. Honestly, I’d much rather go to Paradiso — the cocktails there are far better, the service is on another level, the prices are much more pleasant, and every drink presentation is an absolute masterpiece.

I don't know why this place has such a low rating of 4.0. I think people watched Instagram and I don't know what they expected. We arrived there without a reservation after 10 pm, the lady from the service informed us that she did not guarantee entry and only after 8 pm she said that we would still enter but the rest of the queue rather do not have any cancelled reservations. great place, great atmosphere, friendly service, and cocktails - delicious. and early we were in foco, paradiso and dr stravinski so we had comparison. For fans of cocktails - obligatory. casuals may not appreciate.

Opium Barcelona was the perfect spot for a night out with the boys. We had dinner before heading into the party vibe, and the food did not disappoint—especially the grilled octopus, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The crew enjoyed great drinks, a lively atmosphere, and friendly service. A solid mix of good food and nightlife energy—definitely worth a visit if you’re in Barcelona.

Very nice and well-designed club, from the entrance all the way to the dance floor. Lots of lights, impressive LED walls and a great atmosphere. Cocktails were good and well prepared. A fun detail: even the bathroom had its own DJ, which makes the experience unique. There’s also a semi-covered outdoor area with seating and plenty of seating inside for when you want to take a break. The main DJ was excellent and the special effects team really added to the show. Highlights: stylish venue, great music and performances, good cocktails. Downside: the push to vote the club as ‘top’ felt a bit forced.

Music was great but service wasn’t. Staff at the entrance forces people to vote for Opium as the best club before even going in. They make you scan a QR code and tap on your phone without even asking. I was also thrown off by a super rude waitress at the bar that seemed bothered working there.

Terrible experience. Do not recommend. We tried to go to this club, but they refused to let us in because my friend bought a ticket for two people. They claimed she was trying to use my ticket, even though the other person she bought it with had already entered. When we tried to explain, the male staff became aggressive and actually shoved us. There was no language barrier. I speak Spanish, they simply refused to communicate or listen. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. We decided not to enter since they would not let our friend, who paid for a ticket, come in. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place has terrible staff and zero communication.

Bouncers are so rude. Worst Experience in Barcelona of your trip will be this, atleast me it has been like ever. felt very disrespected Waited in line for 3hrs imagine. Never ever waited that long. Then they tell you entry is over. Or pay 60euro. There is no one to tell this when you are in line which on is for guestlist or general access. The line doesnt move for an hour. Absolutely tourist scam, told its 20$ with a drink we get to the door at 1:10 told its 40 each for me and my 2 other girl friends, we're all hot 22 year old. So we pay already came this far. Dosnt even include a drink, someone knocks my friend she drops her bag and a guy snatches here wallet they refuse to check cameras 20 minutes later her id cards randomly get turned in but without the bank cards and wallet it self... they magically cant check to see who turned them in either.

I am not one to write review but I went to KU BARCELONA with a group of friends, and at one point, a random guy suddenly got mad at my friend for no clear reason. Even after my friend tried to calmly apologize, the guy kept coming back and acting aggressively - he approached us three separate times, and we had no idea what his problem was. He then complained to security, who at first reacted quite heatedly and aggressively too, which I can understand since they didn’t know the full situation. That said, the whole thing made us feel pretty unsafe. We were told that the guy was a regular - and honestly, if that’s the kind of crowd this place attracts, then that’s not really for us.

Probably the worst club I've been to in my entire life, in any country. I've only ever been here with free entry, so I can't even make the usual (and evidently very common) complaints about security. Drinks are extremely expensive even by beach club standards (a Heineken in a glass bottle is €10), they let in way too many people to the point where it's basically impossible to navigate the club and sometimes even dance, coatroom is somehow €2 with cash but €6 with card (for a service with absolutely no overhead that's purely profit), and for God knows why, they have staff standing behind bars not providing service until the club is way too crowded and the extra bars are absolutely necessary. In the summer it's not just packed but completely sweltering and reeks of BO. I cannot imagine ever paying money to come here, because for me it's always free and I avoid it anyway. Save your night and go anywhere else.

Dress code seems a little harsh fully subjective. Listed as casual wear on the tickets, yet wearing chino shorts is classed as sports wear? Saw people get let in on much scruffier outfits than me, spoke to the bouncer and he suggested I tip the manager more money. No thanks, would not recommend

I can only speak from my own experience and what I’ve personally seen. My friends and I were able to get in fairly easily — which seemed to only be the case if you buy your tickets online. Otherwise, you're stuck in a line with no clear waiting time and, from what I observed, a surprisingly high rejection rate. I couldn’t even figure out the criteria for getting in. It doesn’t seem to be about the typical guy-to-girl ratio you’d expect at most clubs, nor about fitting into any particular social “hotness” standard. Honestly, it just felt like pure luck. Beyond that, the security staff go out of their way to behave aggressively towards most people — ranging from extremely rude comments to actual physical violence. Unfortunately, my group experienced this firsthand. One of my friends asked the bartender for the drink prices, and she ended up switching the prices on him. He got upset and refused to pay, and things escalated. Eventually, a security guard kicked him in the chest and threw him out of the club. I wish I could say that was the only instance of violence I saw from the security that night, but sadly that wasn’t the case. Another issue I found concerning is that they hand people glass bottles of alcohol, which is incredibly unsafe and could easily lead to accidents. You’d think that would be an obvious risk. I've even seen multiple complaints about it, so my only guess is that they allow it so security has an excuse to step in — though, to be honest, they don’t seem to need one, as they constantly abuse their power anyway. It’s also worth mentioning how dangerous that can be for women, especially those wearing heels. By the end of the night, the whole floor feels careless at best. If none of this puts you off and you're still thinking about going, I’d say the only real upside is that the music isn’t terrible, and there’s a beach right in front where you can go afterward. But beyond that, there’s not much else I’d recommend.

Amazing atmosphere, the local has such a great design, the drinks are cheap and they play a lot of great rock anthems. Such a great vibe, I recommend you to go with friends or even if you go by yourself I’m pretty sure that you’re gonna meet amazing people in there. Plus: they have a cabine for photos

Fab wee metal bar with a skate park in the back to chill on (when noone is using!) In the eve. We stayed here way longer than intended. The atmosphere and music were fantastic. Will definitely head back when we are in the city again

Excellent highly recommend this place! We had a wonderful evening dining by the sea with excellent server named Montaser. He gave us fantastic recommendations and treated us so well. The clams with red sauce, the scallops, and lobster Croquettes were all delicious! Overall with excellent service, great ambiance, and yummy food! We came back next day to dine here again!

I do. 😇 I miss everything about it: the heat, the sun, BBQ, paella on the beach... 🥹 Talking about paella, I just realized now that the only one 1️⃣ I had in Barcelona this summer was at Pez Vela . 😳 We were just coming back from a trip to Denmark 🇩🇰 with some friends and we were counting on this place to remind us how great 🇪🇸 Spanish / Catalan food is. 💪 The place is beautiful and, even though the weather was kinda hot, the light breeze that night made it perfect. 💯 We went for Spanish food, as I explained, plus a ceviche, cause there's always someone who wants something different. 😅 Everything to share, Spanish style. 😉 The food was good, especially paella (more than black rice): well cooked, firm but not dry. Great. 👏 The "pa amb tomàquet" (bread with tomato) on the contrary was not good. And for €2.5 per small slice, that is not ok. The ham also was so-so. Again, it was supposed to be Bellota ham, and it's not like you need to transform the product: it's either good or not (if you slice it properly). Again, for that price (€24), we could definitely expect way better. 👎 In general, that was an expensive meal, almost as expensive as the ones we shared in Denmark: €300 for 9 dishes, 4 desserts and 1 bottle of wine (all shared between 5 adults and 1 kid). 🥵 The service was chaotic: the servers often forgot us, they brought the dishes in the wrong order but... they managed to bring our rice dishes one after the other, as we requested. I usually ask for this favor, but servers usually refuse because of the logistics... but it's very important that you don't let rice sit out for too long to avoid spoiling the experience. So thanks for this effort! 🙏 If you're not on a budget, I think Pez Vela is a nice spot to chill and enjoy rather good food. 👍 . . . This is a must stop in Barcelona. On the beach walk. The service and atmosphere is great. The food is even better. We had the calamari, Chicken Croquettes, hamburger and white fish (fish of the day). Prices are good, staff is friendly and dress is casual.

Pez Vela is right below the W Hotel in Barcelona and has an awesome view of the beach. The vibe is always nice, music is good, and it’s a great spot whether you’re with family, friends, or just a couple. I’ve been here 4 times over the past 3 years, and it’s always been a solid experience. They’ve kept the quality and service consistent, which isn’t easy to find. Still one of my favorite places in the city. The black paella is my go-to — really tasty and full of flavor. If you’re 4 people, ordering 3 is more than enough. We also tried the cheesecake, and it was very good. you really need a reservation, especially if you want to go around sunset. It gets crowded. Service is quick, staff is friendly, and the whole experience is just smooth. Definitely worth a visit.

I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation. The concept of entering with a code adds a special touch. The welcome and overall theme are great, and the cocktails are both delicious and beautifully crafted. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a couple of hours sipping amazing drinks. However, the service is a bit slow once the order is taken, preparation is quick, but getting someone to take a new order takes longer than it should. They could definitely increase sales if the staff were better trained. Other than that, this spot is absolutely worth visiting whenever you get the chance!

One of the best hidden bars in the beart of Barcelona! On weekends, you might have to wait a little in a queue to be seated but I definitely recommend it. Me and my sister had a great experience with their set menu (Menú El Pintxo). The portions were generous and the quality was excellent for the price. We started with a fresh and colorful salad, followed by perfectly crispy Andalusian-style calamari. The highlight was definitely the 1kg aged chuletón (flavorful, tender), served with patatas bravas and padrón peppers. Desserts were also super great! We tried both the chocolate cake and cheesecake, and both were delicious. Drinks were included in the menu, making it a great value at just under €34 per person. Service was super friendly and the setting was warm and authentic. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a satisfying Spanish meal in the center of Barcelona. ✨🤍

Four of us ordered meals and they never served one of the meals despite the fact we asked for it many times and never apologized for it. Then they tried to charge for things we never ordered. The paella was below average, not very good. The waitress were not respectful. The cod fish was bad and overcooked. The service is terrible, they have no idea of customer service and the lack of honesty is even worst. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

I went to an event in the terrace, it atmosphere is nice but they had only a single cashier and there was a huge line. At the end of the wait, I was surprised to see they don't have any non-alcoholic beers so the wait was for nothing. And it's a bit too loud for my taste. The toilets were awful, people are not nice and it seems they don't want to help you, just like any other disco.

Got a VIP table. They state you can spend your payment for 300 euros on drinks and then you pay go in you understand you can only use the money you pay for alcohol. If you are drinking Gin Tonic you have to pay for your tonic. Dj is not up to par either. Night before Opium was perfect. Not coming back.

Súper racist place they the bouncers literally spat on us just because we’re Indian and said to go back to our own country even when I live in Barcelona. Have a formal complaint lodged with this place and will be taking it up in court. The people added in the pictures are the culprits. Please help us spread the word as they spat on my wife. The owner was super useless and supportive to his staff. We called the cops and they said to take legal action. We have filed a petition and waiting on their response.

Great place with huge terrace, inside the dance floor is big as well as there are plenty of chairs around too, music was great lationo style too, later on it was mixture of latin music and other kind of music, lot of lights and the atmosphere is simple great there, there were 2 dance floors, huge place, enjoy it ;)

I got my food very quickly, it was ok, not very flavorful. I got a Mojito, it was great, lots of mint but they overcharged me and wouldn’t change it. Overall it was an okay experience but not at the top of the list of places to go back to.

I’ve been to Ice Bars before and had an amazing time. So naturally, I was excited to check this one out… but unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to expectations. The space itself is quite small and while the décor and lighting are cool (pun intended), the vibe was pretty lifeless. Definitely no party atmosphere here unless you count something between a waiting room and a very quiet museum. The bartender kept disappearing from the bar, which meant long waits for drinks and when everything’s made of ice and you’re freezing your fingers off, that wait feels even longer. The drinks served in ice glasses were a fun detail, but overall, the experience felt a bit lazy compared to other ice bars I’ve visited. It’s a fun stop for a quick pic or two, but not something I’d recommend if you’re looking for an actual night out. I rounded up my opinion to 3 stars out of courtesy, but only because I like neon jellyfish.

I wanted a non-alcoholic cocktail, but it was impossible. So I asked for a Red Bull. He brought me a Red Bull with vodka, even though I never mentioned the word “vodka” in my order. To be avoided if you are looking for a warm place with a complete menu after 9:30 p.m. So, in total, for a spritz and a vodka Red Bull that I hadn’t ordered, we paid 26 euros.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported to a winter wonderland. The ice sculptures were intricate and impressive, and the whole atmosphere was just so much fun. But what really made our experience unforgettable were the bartenders, Tarik and Liz. They were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their energy was contagious. Tarik kept us entertained with his jokes and stories, while Liz made sure our glasses were always full (and helped us warm up!). They were both super knowledgeable about the drinks and made some fantastic recommendations. The cocktails were delicious and definitely helped to keep the cold at bay (though the cozy capes they provide helped too!). The music was great, and the overall vibe was just perfect for a fun night out with friends. From the outside looking in, it seemed pretty dark, but once you’re inside it gives a more welcoming atmosphere. The service is great, the bartenders tell you the history of the bar and recommend you the ideal drink to match your desire. The cocktails live up to the reputation of the bar! Delicious!

I’ve been here twice- once in 2022 and another now in 2025. Both times the atmosphere, service and drinks were absolutely wonderful. The staff are really intent on making your time there good (and if someone annoying comes up to you they make sure to tell them to go away).

Fantastic little place o the corner of the famous Las Ramblas. None of your pre made cocktails here. Fantastic service from professional cocktails makers and drinks with a punch. 81 euro for 6 drinks (between 2) and left feeling merrier than when we entered.

We stopped in for an after dinner cocktail and immediately enjoyed the aesthetic and vibe here. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. They are a true craft cocktail bar with some very highly trained bartenders, who make some fantastic, historic cocktails. They use top notch ingredients to hand make each drink and the flavors are stunning! Check them out sometime, but keep in mind that they are very small inside and can only seat about 12 people at a time.

This place is amazing. Met Cillian earlier in the day and he suggested I stopped by and well it was excellent. If you enjoy whisky or just curious this is heaven on earth. With 1500 whiskies you are sure to find something you can enjoy. The entire bar staff are excellent, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. I didn’t have any cocktails but I watched them work and it was brilliant.

For less than €30, we enjoyed a curated flight of premium whiskies from different regions, each with a detailed explanation by a passionate and knowledgeable host. The ambiance is warm, elegant, and intimate—ideal for both newcomers and aficionados. As a bonus, we even got to try a rare bottle not on the menu. Exceptional value, great atmosphere, and expert guidance. A must-visit for whisky lovers.

Very nice whisky bar. Good deco and lovely ambience. We preferred whisky sour was fantastic, and has a great balance. Highly recommend.

If you like whiskey, this is the place for you! Great bartenders and great selection for a good price. The first time I came here with my wife I had the classic old fashion where they brand the whole de cubes with their brand which is a unique touch. And then we came back and I had a flight of whiskey from Ireland and Portugal with the help from one of the bartenders. Would definitely recommend!!

Great place, very unassuming from the outside but a lovely decor and vibe inside. Killian looked after us extremely well and his dram recommendations were on point 👌 If you like whisky and bourbon try the campfire whiskey, you’ll love it. 100% will return, loved it.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at any whiskey bar I have ever been to. Huge thank you to the staff for being amazing. The recommendations they gave me based on my taste were 100% perfect. They even taught me that I do like a Smokey whiskey 😂. My wife who is not a whiskey fan was made a delicious cocktail that we didn’t even know was coming. Truly top notch service and environment. We have a few days left on our trip and will 100% be going back. (This was our 2nd trip in the first 2 days) SALUD!

Popped in here just for a snack and a beer, had some albonigas which was lovely. The place is quirky and friendly. I really liked it. Reasonably priced too

I love this place. I was there 2 years ago for the first time and I dreamed of there mojitos. They have such a good selection of mojitos and they are also pretty cheap and just sooo delicious! This years Barcelona trip I went there twice again. Also the place itself is pretty nice.

Cozy and comfortable café and bar. It's a nice place to sit in one of its sofas and watch people passing by sipping one of the cocktails. There is also a terrace which is protected around to sit outside. Good coffee, average prices considering the area and quick service. You can be inside with your dog.

The waitress was so nice, Tania served us🥰 I ordered a coco mojito and it was only 6€ and very tasty. Would recommend 🫶🏻

Nice atmosphere and low light. Very quite to have a chat with friends or couple. Several brands of gin. You can either have a gin&tonic, gin cocktails or other cocktails. Service is nice and helpful, and they know how to recommend. Nice outfit too. :) They serve a small glass of water from the start. Worth the try!

After going to the #3 and #5 bars in the world, my husband and I agree that the drinks at Bobby Gin are on par, if not better (especially in taste and range). Excellent presentation. Plus, it’s much more accessible and affordable. Good ambiance as well. Hidden gem!! Bartender is a genius and has great recommendations. Must visit.

Great little gin bar! We each had a gin tonic and then a gin cocktail. The bartender was very personable and walked us through some gins we have never had!

I have visited this bar several times in the past and often brought friends visiting Barcelona here to enjoy a drink and a pleasant conversation. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, an unpleasant situation occurred. A local customer sitting next to us asked us to keep quiet because we were speaking Chinese and, in his opinion, too loudly. While we are here first two hours there’s no complaining from others. The owner of the bar supported his request. As international visitors and minorities in Barcelona, we sometimes encounter situations that make us feel unwelcome. This experience has left a negative impression, and regrettably, I will not be returning to this place. after the bar reply I need to add one more : The bar owner made no effort to understand the situation and immediately sided with a local customer, insisting that we were the problem. This was extremely unfair, and it felt like clear disrespect toward us as Asian women. I cannot recommend this place.

They have wide variety of Gin and tonics. Prices starting with 7 Euro (+1 Euro tonic). I would definitely recommend to try this Bar if you are in this area. Staff was very nice and explained us properly the concept of this bar.

I went here by myself one night bc I love gin and tonics and it's an actual gin bar!! I've never seen a gin bar in the states. I loved the jinzu and rose lemonade, one of the recommended drinks. I ended up coming back two nights later with friends and they really enjoyed their cocktails too, all gin and tonic adjacent drinks. The bartender was very knowledgeable and good at recommendations. He even told me one gin was not worth trying which honestly is fantastic.

BY FAR, The best gin bar I've ever been to!!!! The man and woman working last night were EXQUISITE, TALENTED, FRIENDLY AND SO KIND!!! He actually created a lemon mojito for me because I love lemons so much. So grateful for the talent, service and ambiance of this establishment. We cannot wait to come back. This place is TOP NOTCH.

My end of the day bar when I've been at Barcelona for more than two weeks. Many gin and tonic and flavor combinations, sooo friendly staff. Dreamy location. Best way to end the day, I only wish they were open every day.

I've known Rubi's Bar since 2014, and although they changed a lot since (they used to offer homemade inhouse Gin, not anymore since the change of ownership) now they specialize in bringing out the best flavors and perfected mixing international Gin brands, offering beautiful tasty creations.

They make their own gin and has over 50 different tasting gins! Every gin and tonic you order will be perfect. Great atmosphere and talented people behind the bar.

Very nice bar, good vibes, not trashy, safe. The drinks are very tasty and reasonable price. The bartender / owner of the bar was very kind, open, and catered my mojito to my preferences. I love the architecture of the space, it feels like an underground cavern. Will definitely go back if I come back to Barcelona:)

A nice little bar that has an English comedy show every Sunday night

Not as good as it used to be. Downstairs was closed on a Sunday night. Plus mojitos are 9€ now. Used to be a great atmosphere with affordable mojitos

Went here for the comedy show and it was a blast. The drinks are good price and all the employees are super friendly. I definitely recommend it
