The 42 best pancakes in Barcelona

The place is high-class, but I fell short of my dish… The friends I was with really enjoyed it I ate their flag sandwich with chicken. The bread was dry, and the chicken was dry. The dish is served on a plate that is actually a wooden picture frame, just shocking, not clean and dirty and filthy! The problem with serving on a "plate" like this, which is actually a wooden frame, is that it is not cleaned and therefore simply gets dirty and contaminated... I also ordered an Americano coffee-I didn't like it either, it was very sour. We also ordered a burrata salad with tomatoes. Which was actually a burrata salad with croutons, there were too few tomatoes and vegetables.

I have brunch ed at many places but I always come back here. The food is always good. You can tell the flavour are carefully being selected and matched in the dishes and drinks. Our waitress, Elisabeth, was the sweetest as all of the staff ALWAYS are.

The only acceptable part of my visit was the service — and even that was far from impressive. Major issues: 1. They forced customers to line up when it wasn’t necessary, wasting everyone’s time. 2. The bathroom is directly next to the kitchen’s food-prep area — very inappropriate. 3. The place is in poor condition: a refrigerator door was literally falling off, and the tables and chairs were wobbly. 4. Tiny tables paired with oversized dishes — clearly no thought was given to customer comfort. 5. Overloading food with sauces doesn’t improve the taste; it makes it worse. 6. Serving a hot latte with a cup of ice and expecting customers to make their own iced latte is just absurd. 7. The prices are slightly higher than expected prices. At this point, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Clean, stylish, and very Instagrammable spot with a fair amount of space both inside and outside. The brunch options were lovely, with plenty of gluten-free choices—I’d especially recommend the corn waffles. Service was personable and friendly. Slight downside that even filtered water had to be paid for, but otherwise a really nice brunch place. Ideal for individuals or small groups, though it might be trickier for larger parties.

One of the best brunch spots in town! I tried the bagel and it was okay, but I’m sure there are other amazing options, especially the pancakes or sweets. I’ll definitely come back again to give it another try!

We came here for breakfast while visiting Barcelona and really enjoyed it. I had the English breakfast with scrambled eggs, chorizo, sausage, beans, and bacon — just the way it should be, very tasty. My wife had the Turkish breakfast, which she found delicious — probably one of the best breakfasts she had during this trip. Our son went for the Royal Salmon (two poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on a thick slice of bread) — it was good, though not spectacular. Our daughter ordered granola with fruit and loved it. The service was quick and friendly, and it’s worth noting that the juices are both tasty and reasonably priced. Our son also had a hot chocolate with whipped cream, which disappeared in seconds! Overall, a lovely place for a nice breakfast in Barcelona.

Absolutely delicious food and brilliant service from Carla & Rob. We ordered about half the menu and every dish was delicious. We had dinner with two young children and were made to feel so welcome, even adapting some of the menu to accommodate our 6 year old. Highly recommended!

One of the best breakfasts in Barcelona! The food is absolutely incredible, the whole vibe of the cafe is so fun, great music and even better service. Jorge and Lucy (apologies if I’ve misspelled the names!) were amazing, so friendly and kind! Definitely recommend their smoothies and Turkish eggs!

This is an great little quaint place, very clean, atmosphere, background music and allows dogs. The service was great, the coffee is strong, natural orange juice and English breakfast was amazing. Will return for sure.

If you’re looking for an amazing brunch or lunch spot, Can Dendê is a must. I’m in absolute disbelief — the pulled pork eggs Benedict might be the best meal of my life. Incredible flavour, perfect texture, and super friendly staff.

All I have to say is “WOW” The food and service goes way beyond a 5/5 rating. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! The Caramelised French toast is the best I have ever tasted! We got the fried chicken buns and it was phenomenal! It comes with fries and veggies(salad) with an homemade sauce. There were also desserts but we didn’t try them . They also cater to those who are looking for a brunch spot. The service was perfect. Then only downfall was the cleaning side of the place…the bathroom was not well kept 🥺

If you look for California-style Mexican comfort food, look no more. This place has the best Huevos Rancheros I‘ve ever had. The fried tortillas as a base are just awesome. We‘ve been here twice, so we could try more dishes. The pancakes are so fluffy and the fried tomatoes are genius 🤩

We love that place. He had a wonderful branch and have the best time. Good food very nice atmosphere and the staff are amazing.

Both coffees and lemonade were really great. The pulled pork bun had a really creamy sauce that went very well with the brioche bun. The smoked braised short ribs meat was nice and tender but the poached eggs served with it wasn’t the best pairing for me personally.

All the ingredients used in their dishes taste so fresh. I highly recommend sharing the strawberry pancakes as a dessert. Their lemonade is also something I would recommend trying. Their coffee isn’t very strong so if you enjoy strong and flavourful coffee I would skip ordering coffee from here.

Lovely place! The fried green tomatoes were so good!!! Pulled pork tacos also good. All the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. Staff was friendly and attentive. One of our favorite meals so far!

Amazing coffee place with a good breakfast and lunch menu. We had the burger and eggs Benedict with salmon and avocado, definitely worth a try! Food is great and they put imagination into it, Im posting the picture of a burguer, but before that we tried some other goodies such as home made croissants with different fillings and more. The staff is súper nice and cheerful, and they speak many languages aswel.

Service veryyy slowww! Got seated straight away (yay), nice single seat corner booth type vibe (win), laptop out get working, WiFi on the table with the QR code, (smooth) scan, checkout the menu (decent) tap in the wi-fi - get online, (patterned)... No one has come over yet... All good... Well, I worked for the next 10 minutes waiting for someone to come over, it even got so bad I was staring at every member of staff trying to get someone to make eye contact (which they didn't), so I literally just gave up and figured I'd just work until someone had had enough of me being there... Meanwhile the music is wayyy too loud and the music is 80's club, but the really pop side of it like 'Radio Gaga'. Fine if you like that sort of thing blaring out while you try to have a chat with your friends - even the waiter kept asking the women next to me to repeat their order cause he couldn't really hear them. All that said, once I ordered, the food was with me in about 5 minutes (not too bad). I ordered the Smokey Chicken Shawarma - Lord this thing was oily! Look at them pics, it made a pool in the basket and they only gave me one napkin 🫠 I couldn't see any napkins out anywhere and as I said before, you can't get any eye contact in here, so I couldn't even signal to anyone I needed napkins cause my hands and face were covered in oil and sauce (lol). So I just had to soldier it with one napkin - Apart from the oil and the bit of mess it takes making to eat it, it really hit the spot, I liked the flavours, the textures, pretty filling but you will need to combine it with the fries (which are also nice - seasoned) to really hit that munch spot. One annoying thing about the menu is they do that thing where there is no £ or € symbol just the numbers... If you know the psychology of this, then you know, if you don't... I had the house ice tea which was an iced tea with strawberry, which looked nice with a straw, an orange, two... Blueberries?? and ice ... But man ... It's the blandest and most watery iced tea I've had here and I have it every lunchtime. Really disappointed - maybe it needs to brew longer becaue it was very weak. The price in total came to a little over €18, which for a major city centre isn't unusual but, you know what, it's too much and maybe that's to be said of the prices everywhere. We aren't getting much at all for our money anywhere we go. Small note - The toilet is all genders, so if you are someone that does find that uncomfortable, it is something to know ahead of going - Nice bit of reed diffusers, antibacterial and hand cream action going on in there though as well as a funky poster. 3/5

We loved this place so much we went twice in our trip. It’s hard to find good restaurants in Barcelona but this place is a gem. We tried the Turkish eggs which was probably the best I ever ate. My girlfriend took the croissant waffle which she liked so much she took it twice while I took the cured bacon and eggs which I would also totally recommend. Whatever you’ll order I’m sure you’ll like it. Coffees are very good, staff is very nice. Basically a cool place I would recommend to anyone! Expect to wait in a line to get a table

I absolutely loved my brunch experience at Caravelle! The menu may be small, but every dish is thoughtfully chosen, flavorful, and genuinely satisfying. The story of this magnificent breakfast restaurant begins almost 9 years ago… I was 13 and in Europe with my family for the first time. I had fallen in love with the city of Barcelona, and on our last morning we were conflicted with where to go for breakfast. We stumbled across Caravelle and I believe that moment truly changed my life. Since those scrumptious eggs Benedict touched my mouth 9 years ago I have saved the name of this restaurant in my phone. Now that I am a study abroad student I made it evident that I would come to Barcelona solely to come back to Caravelle. I have been in Barcelona the last three days and have came to Caravelle the last three days. Every morning I am met with a scrumptious meal and great coffee. The staff is beyond kind and they will help you with your order or with any issues you may have. Now I know the line is long but trust me. It’s worth the wait.

We came right when the restaurant opened because it’s a very popular spot, and it filled up almost immediately. The two dishes we ordered were both delicious, and the overall quality really impressed us. The service was also excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for brunch.

Great fast service with friendly staff. The menu is a bit limited in terms of breakfast options but the food was delicious. We ordered the scrambled eggs along with the tequeños and both were delicious. I would recommend this place to be on your brunch list when you visit the city.

A nice spot for lunch. Fair prices and a good variety of dishes. I was here back in February and had the salmon — it was really tasty. More recently, I tried the burrata salad, which I wouldn’t recommend — the tomatoes were underripe and not juicy at all. The shrimp tacos were pretty good, though. They also have a decent selection of drinks and desserts. Overall, it’s a solid place to stop by for lunch, but don’t expect anything out of the ordinary.

A very popular brunch spot in the city center. The decor is cozy and perfect for photos. The Korean fried chicken was amazing. The sauce was very Korean. It was just a little cold; I prefer it hotter. If you're a slow eater or want to sit for a long time, I wouldn't recommend going there, as other tourists will arrive quickly.

Maybe place is fine, but my experience wasn’t) 1. I had an ugly view (never take the last seat). They could’ve hide this view with a curtain or smth. 2. Disappointing experience here. I was so excited to visit based on the good reviews but it did not meet my expectations. Seated quickly but a dirty table when I arrived,even though it was newly set with cutlery. Looked like it had not been wiped properly. Ordered a vainilla latte and it was supposed to by warm but was hardly tepid. Very unpleasant to drink. Looked beautiful though, so great for a photo... Didnt finish the drink. Ordered the apples pancakes and they were mostly OK but not great. Inside the pancake with either apple jam or was something else, I couldn't tell. Either was it was crunchy and gross, not the best texture for a pancake. The other non filled pancakes were nice as were the rest of the accompaniments like the jam. Is it worth the price? Absolutely not. Atmosphere was extremely loud though that could be because it was busy and peak brunch time. I'm glad I didn't order a meal with poached eggs. I saw other customers' orders and the poached eggs were hard and not runny at all. Not ideal for a place that's supposed to specialise in eggs!

Overall, The Egg Lab serves up some really tasty and filling food, but be prepared for a bit of a wait and a slightly higher bill. Pros: * Had the Korean chicken egg Benedict and it was great and really filling * Overall satisfied with the food Cons: * On the slightly higher price side * Lunch time may require queuing * Table arrangements could be better; saw one person occupy a table for four during a busy lunch rush, leading to longer waits for others while tables sat unused for over half an hour, and he ended up only having one drink.

I finally made it to The Egg Lab after hearing so much hype, and it absolutely lives up to its reputation. If you're looking for a fantastic brunch that's a step above the ordinary, this is your place. The coffee was excellent—strong and fresh. We also shared Dubai pancake which were fluffy and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than a standard, but you are 100% paying for the quality of ingredients, the creativity, and the overall experience. It's worth every penny.

I had eggs Benedict with salmon — the portion was medium-sized and overall it was fine, though one egg was overcooked and the other too runny. The smoothie was delicious, no complaints there. Nice atmosphere and good service.

The place, the vibe and team is super nice. The menu got some Halal options and the waiter was super nice to guide us more on some other options while selecting. While for the food, I am a bit hesitant to give a final review is it may not fit with our personal taste. I have ordered the Turkish Eggs but the team didnt manage to explain fully the ingredients or the cooking style, finally I understood it was “çılbır” (eggs with yogurt) or a similar version of that Turkish plate; but what it was described in the menu was closer to what we get as sucuklu yumurta (eggs with sausage). It was super runny and we left the plate as it is. Another plate we got was Shakshuka that was as well a bit too oily and too liquid. The pain au chocolates and croissants were good and fresh though! I would give it a second try and I recommend asking more details or a photo of the plate to make sure you can eat it.

The juices and smoothies were really good and fresh! The dishes are hit or miss depending on the dish and your taste. We found the pancakes too dense and sweet but the patacones were sooooo good!

I’d give more than 5 stars if it were possible 👏🏻 The food here is delicious and packed full of flavour, not only this but the serving sizes are incredibly generous. This has been a stand out restaurant amongst our travels and we’d be back in a heartbeat! Food came out super fast and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Add this to your must try list! Came here after the positive reviews. The ambience is lovely but food is such a letdown. We ordered baja tacos which were not baja style at all (and we come from California), had a ton of mayo and cucumbers in them, fried fish was soggy and had no salt. We ate only 1 out of the 4. Pakoras were terrible and soggy, and we just couldn’t eat those. I enjoyed the Patacones with pulled beef and hogao.

Very nice place, you will maybe need a reservation because it’s a bit crowded. The staff were very nice. The food was good. You will need at least a phone because you will need to make your order on the phone you have a QR code on the table. I would say the tables are a bit close to each other, but that’s just my opinion. For what I ordered in the picture, the total cost was 53.30€ I would recommend this place

Great plant based health food conscious restaurant serving up protein/salad bowls, sandwiches and other dishes with natural ingredients. Reasonably priced and quick service. I ordered the Hawaiian poke bowl. Great flavors, fish wasn’t the greatest but other parts of the bowl were great. Friendly staff.

The food here is fantastic. It’s light, healthy and satisfying. I had the mango avocado tartar with a tuna taco and my partner had the Korean bibimbap. We both had a carrot juice mixture called “forever young”. I highly recommend a visit to Flax & Kale.

Flax & Kale is hands down our favorite spot for vegan food in Barcelona. We ordered all vegan options and every dish blew us away. The nachos were loaded with flavor, the veggie tartare was fresh and creative, and the flatbread was hearty and perfectly seasoned. And the desserts absolutely to die for. Beautifully made, indulgent without being heavy, and the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere is modern and lively, the service is friendly, and the food is next-level. If you’re vegan (or even if you’re not), this place is a must-visit. Easily our favorite dining experience in the city!

The place has a beautiful interior with a great atmosphere. I really like the concept of the healthy options that are very tasty. However, for the price we paid, the portion sizes were quite small and because there was no protein, the dishes aren't considering the macronutrients and leaves you a little unsatisfied.

The lady at the door not welcoming at all - as nice is the place as ugly was her treatment and attitude. and I had just said good morning and asked if the terrace is open. If I hadn t decided I wanted exactly to come here to eat I would ve definitely walked away. The place is beautiful and the waiter upstairs was really nice. I didn’t eat any food, just passed by for a coffee and realized they have a roof top sitting area which do recommend go site at the top. Coffee was amazing that I ordered another just because why no, that’s why I rated the food as 5 star, other then that the atmosphere is calm, relaxing and cozy.

Overrated and Underwhelming. Came here for brunch after hearing great things — left disappointed. Let’s start with the service: painfully slow, despite the café not being busy. The only saving grace was our waitress, who was genuinely sweet and friendly. Drinks took forever to arrive. When the food finally showed up, it looked good, but that’s about where the positives end. I ordered the American pancakes with extra bacon. The bacon was so overcooked it was basically inedible I couldn’t even cut through it. The egg wasn’t runny, the pancakes were just okay, and overall, the dish was a flop. I had to send it back and order something else because I was starving. Ended up getting the wrap with everything in it and it was actually decent but I was honestly starving at this point. My sister ordered the truffle chicken burger with potatoes and a side of avocado. Visually, it was impressive. The potatoes were delicious, but the burger itself? Dry, bland, and disappointing. Total bill was €49 — definitely not worth it. Only reason this place is getting 3 stars is because of the kind waitress. Otherwise, it’s a strong 2. Wouldn’t recommend, and I won’t be returning. The place is smaller than the pictures and too cramped.

This place is great. Lots of options for food, great vegan bowls high in protein. I love meat and the vegan bowl was incredible and filling which is rare for me. The iced latte was also great. Very kind staff, personable, very quick and available. Overall good atmosphere, 5/5 10/10 would recommend.

We came here on a recommendation and the place did indeed look really inviting and cozy. Lots of seating in different styles, a young crowd, wonderful service. We ordered a dessert that looked really, really good. Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty. It was very disappointing to take a picture of the dish that looked like a million dollars, but the taste was far from it. The rest of the dishes may be good. In any case, a pleasant place to sit.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED THIS MORNING! I stopped in here today looking for a coffee but found great healthy options on the menu. I had the overnight oats, orange carrot ginger juice and a latte. Everything was delicious. The juice was just what I needed to heal my body. The atmosphere is very chill and the waitress was very nice to me. Definitely would come back!

It’s dark inside, which I love; cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The food is classic brunch style, well served and tasty. The service could be a bit more attentive, but overall it was good.

Saw the good reviews and walked in the cafe. I wanted something light and the staff, Asia, recommended Hummus. Asia is so kind to accommodate my request to add a porched egg. The food was very delicious and really made my day.

Great brunch spot. We got the açai bowl and the french toast. The açai bowl was delicious, great consistency and toppings. The french toast was tasty, but it was only one piece of bread, I feel like for the price it could have been more. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

Stumbled across this gem on our way to the airport and it was a god sent! From sweet to savory - pancakes to omelets, this place has all your heart desires and more. The interior is a matter of taste but it’s definitely memorable and super cozy. Coffee is good and comes in large mugs. The omelet with vegan sausage was HUGE and very good and also the other dishes did not fail to impress. Our waiter was very friendly and in general everyone is super attentive. You just need to look around and someone will pop up at your table to help you. Saved this to my favorites and will come by next time I’m in Barcelona.

The waffles were way to dry for me, the bacons and eggs were good. The mango mimosa taste a lot like orange juice. It was hot upstairs. The pancakes were to thick and dry as well. The server would skip you if you don’t know what to drink or eat we were a group of nine.

I don’t know you guys, this might be one of the best brunch places you’ll ever go in your life. The food could not come out more immaculate. Basically every table had the sweet potato fries so that’s why we got them. For sure I’d get basically everything again on this table. Everything is so unique with so many well thought out ingredients. I really don’t know that brunch gets much better than this. The wait is a wait, but it’s worth it and they do a great job keeping everyone updated. The staff are so sweet. We waited extra long to sit outside and it was so worth it. Extremely friendly well cleaned and kept together place. Their cuisine has a lot of personality and a delicious taste. Lots of reviews have been trashing it calling it a “touristy spot” but honestly this is one of the best if not the best breakfast places in Poblenou. Their orange juice is as natural as it gets. Their Turkish eggs were to die for, and their sandwiches also delicious. Açaí bowl was refreshing and tasty as well. Only slight knock is perhaps the service which could be a tad slower at times but that’s understandable when it gets busy and there’s only 2 waitresses running the tables. Overall I would recommend, fair prices as well as confirmed by relatives from Barcelona.

Had the special egg bun and sweet potato fries. The bun was one of the best egg buns I’ve ever had and the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy but soft inside. No wait when I got there but when I left there was a queue.

Great foodie location. Nice bowls and tasty sandwiches. Also the drinks are original. I rated just 4 in place of 5 because of: 1) the way to manage the queuing for getting in could be more friendly; 2) slow service. But honestly worth to come back.

Positioned in a small square, good tables inside and out. Really great options for food too and nice little cushions on the window sill so you can wait outside for a table. My husband and I visited Elsa y Fred for dinner on our honeymoon and were extremely happy with our experience. We sat at the bar, as they were busy on a Thursday night, and had the best experience with the bartender, Pilar! She was so friendly and helpful. The tapas were incredible, the wine was fantastic, and I had an espresso martini that was one of the best ever. I would recommend Elsa y Fred for authentic and high-quality tapas anytime!

My wife and I really like Esla y Fred! The atmosphere, super nice staff and tasty food makes it worth coming back. We started a kimchi croquette & a jamon croquette. Both were really good, not the typical béchamel bomb you get at a lot of places. The kimchi taste was very mild, so even people who aren't overs would probably like it. Next, we loved the cherry gazpacho w/ a big dollop of stracciatella, it was super rich and deelish. Next, we had the pastrami sandwich. Pastrami is pretty hard to find in Barcelona so we were excited to try it. It was good, but the only reason we can't give this awesome place a 5. The meat was simply kind of tasteless, in our opinion. The bread was good, but overall (ok, we used to live in new york so are pastrami snobs), we'd pass. But that said, we will definitely return and their brunch looks awesome. Go!

Not sure why they are not getting consistent 5 stars, I think they deserve all 5. Chanced upon this place on our way back to the hotel, looked cosy and welcoming, so decided to give it a try. The waitress was very welcoming, quickly got a table ready for us and urged us to get indoors quickly because it was rather chilly. Ordered their Beef Cheeks, Beef Tartare and Fish Tacos, she introduced a red wine to go with the meal. My gosh, everything was so good! The beef cheeks soft and full of flavour. Beef Tartare fresh and nicely seasoned with their own special seasoning. Fish taco was just amazing. The good service didn’t just end with the meal getting paid. She bothered to follow us out and suggested which direction we should walk, just to avoid possible trouble. Highly recommended! Thank you team Elsa y Fred!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! It was by far our best gastronomic experience in Barcelona. I asked if they had gazpacho, even though it wasn’t on the menu — and they did! With cherries and cheese, and it was absolutely incredible. The baba ganoush was one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional. We visited during a quieter time, and the staff were attentive to every detail around the place, making sure everything was perfect. We’ll probably find ourselves comparing every other restaurant to this one - it truly set the bar.. and definitely watch Elsa and Fred tonight!

We enjoyed every dish that was recommended. Do note that the menu is in Spanish however the servers were more than happy to assist. The history of this restaurant was really touching. Dedicated to his mother who loved the show “Elsa y Fred”. That aside, the food was really worth the travel.

Wow wow wow what a find. A little French twist on Barcelona. Interior was 10/10. Tomato toast was so good. We got 2 specials - beef cheeks that were so tender and tasty and the roast chicken. Both incredible. Loved it so much.

We walked in at 11AM on a Wednesday, sat immediately. The food was great, great price! We had so much food, the steak and the eggs, avocado toast, and a short stack as well as drinks, the sally up (SUCH AN AMAZING JUICE) a mimosa, Americano, cappuccino and an espresso martini. All very good and we paid 63 euros! Highly recommend!

We tried to make a reservation but they didn’t have any openings for several day. It was raining and we were on our way to another place and this had seats open downstairs. We decided to stop by. Despite the rain, it was very cozy. Folks from the neighborhood popped in and out. The food was delicious. The music playlist was quite good. The staff and guests were quietly singing along.

Really wanted to like it but couldn’t! The service is very good and the place is cute, but everything we ordered wasn’t great. Coffee tasted diluted, orange juice lacked the oomph, eggs Benedict needed more salt and balance (everything was texturally soft and mushy), Turkish eggs were decent but the whole dish did not go together well. The ingredients are fresh and portions are generous, but I wouldn’t go back.

While the service was excellent, the food disappointed. I had chicken and waffle (not on menu). The chicken (2 tiny pieces- size of 2 euro piece) was overcooked and 1/2 a waffle. They do have a lovely fruit syrup and pancake syrup (not maple) that really was delicious. My husband had the 2-2& 2 breakfast. Eggs overcooked, 4 slices of boring toast and just ok bacon. Lots of kid friendly decor and dining area is tight. But it was very tidy and our server was great. Good place to take kids but not for us. Sadly, the cappuccino I had was mediocre as was my husband’s cafe con leche. Wanted to love this place but didn’t. But your kids likely will.

beautiful place, a little small but active with music, lights and a lot of people, food it’s delicious as always (i’ve been here like 4 times) and always order different things, the mac and cheese usually it’s delicious BUT TODAY i’ll have to say i did not like it a single bit, everything else is great and lovely, this is my comfort place to come for brunch on any special occasion! All they sell is bread with a bit of eggs, mini chicken pieces, awful thick greasy not well cooked bacon… I’ve asked to exchange the waffles for a biscuit they said no. I ordered it individually and they’ve served me with the worst possible looking biscuit. I had to call the waitress to tell her please try it because it’s so bad. They did and apologized but still tried to charge me for it. Come on.

I have to admit that we walked in with not the best expectations, as we were in the other Desayunería, and our experience was not the best, but damn, we will definitely come back here! Really awesome brunch spot. My friends and I came here almost everyday during our vacation (except once) and loved it. The interior as well as the food is amazing. I especially loved the Eggs Benedict. The service was also really great each time. The staff is just really friendly and charismatic, especially Eli, Isabella and another guy, whose name I sadly don’t know. They give the receipt in a cute egg carton with stickers of the duck logo. My friend who loved ducks even got a bunch more of them the last time we went, after we told Eli that she loves the stickers. The staff also always asks whether there are any allergies etc.

We had brunch at Billy Brunch and loved everything about it. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — exactly what you want for a late morning meal in Barcelona. The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive even though it was busy. We were served by Harri who was very polite and gave good suggestions. We tried the club sandwich, avocado toast, and the sweet pancakes, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, and both the flat white and XL cappuccino were excellent — strong but smooth. Prices are fair for the quality, and it’s clear this place puts care into both food and service. Definitely one of the better brunches we’ve had in Barcelona. Highly recommend if you’re near Sagrada Família or staying in Eixample — worth the short wait for a table!

We had a wonderful time at Billy Brunch! We came as a family with a small baby and a stroller — the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. When it started to rain a little, they immediately placed an umbrella over our table so we could stay comfortable. Our little one didn’t disturb anyone, and everyone was so friendly to us. We had scrambled egg (with mushrooms) plate and foccacio plate and tomato bread with my husband. The portion is huge and really delicious. Coffee is also tasty too. We really like the location. We will be here again soon!

We walked in and we had to wait for a while to be seated as it was lunch hour. The food and service were great! We had Revueltos Championes, Benedict Salmon, Miel Pancake, Cappuccino Grande and Chai Latte. Everything was amazing. The coffee portion was big but of great value. Lovely brunch place.

Turkish eggs were amazing, with a really tasty white sauce (it says ricotta but it tasted like Greek yogurt to me). Avocado toast was very good. While the cottage cheese pancakes were tasty (be aware that they are not very sweet at all), there was something about their texture that I wasn't crazy about - and I also have expected and appreciated more fruit.

This place haa become my favorite place for breakfast also the hammocks make it very fun. Everything tasted amazingly fresh, so gourmet. We had the Turkish eggs,Avacado toast, Salmon scrambled eggs toast and Lemon curd pancakes ALL WERE BOMB 💣.

BEST vegan breakfasts we've ever had! You have to visit this place if you're vegan & in Barcelona, the food was honestly the most delicious I've had in a very long time. The staff were very friendly too & it's a lovely atmosphere inside.

I will rate this place by acknowledging that they operate with a much more limited set of ingredients. Therefore, I will grade it more generously for what it is: a vegetarian food cafe. I think it is a lovely place with a unique and non-pretentious atmosphere in a relatively quiet neighborhood. When it comes to food, I believe they do a better job with original recipes than with creating plant-based imitations. The food is divided into sweet (5) and umami (7) options. In my case, I genuinely loved their fruit-laden pudding, the SuperBowl. On the other hand, the tofu omelette was less impressive. It was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and looked adorable, but it tasted nothing like an egg omelette and had a different texture. I think the average Google rating is well deserved, and I feel better rounding my rating up to 5 rather than down to 4.

Amazing place to start the day and enjoy extremly delicious plant based breakfast! A vegan heaven! Of course that's why Service is a little bit stressed because too many wants to enjoy this - great job - thank you!

The place is cozy but a bit noisy. I ordered the plant-based version of the Catalan breakfast, a vegan burger, and an açai bowl. After a short wait (10–20 minutes), we tried the food. I asked the waitress what sauce came with the breakfast. I knew it contained nuts, but neither I nor the waitress knew the name. They said it was allioli but for the taste, it wasn't obviously. I assume they’ve changed the menu and haven’t fully adjusted to it yet. After dessert, the staff asked if everything was okay, so we inquired about the sauce again. It turned out to be a cheesy cashew sauce. I also expected beans on the plate, but they had forgotten to include them. That said, the açai was delicious. The burger wasn’t particularly tasty, just okay.

Atmosphere is nice, food is average. Menu is worth to pay for. My partner ordered the menu which was served on a tray however the tray was not flat. It was bent in the middle. When the waiter placed the tray on the table a small amount of orange juice spilled but didn’t clean it or anything. He saw it that’s for sure. Then we also spilled the juice when we wanted to move the tray. Please don’t serve food on uneven surface. Otherwise quality was average. Nothing special and nothing bad. I think there are better places around.

Excellent service and food. The best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had! Super delicious and fresh. We also had some excellent lattes. I definitely recommend this place. If we have more time in Barcelona we will be back.

The service and atmosphere is really good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food wise, I ordered the kimchi quinoa and I was a bit confused with why didn’t it taste like kimchi. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any in it. A bit misleading. It just tasted like salt & pepper……wouldn’t recommend anyone getting that. My partner ordered the burger and he said it was alright but a bit too expensive for what it is. The portion and serving was very small compared to the price. He left the place very hungry. The coffee was pretty good! Very good value.

We stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Barcelona. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We needed a little help with translation and ended up with amazing food. The food was hot, fresh and presented well. Our waitress was keen to help and very attentive. We are only here for the weekend, but will make a point of coming back. The food was exceptional. Great flavors and presentation. I got the Benedict with salmon and bratas barcino, which was delicious. The oxygen smoothie was super refreshing. We also got a chai and matcha latte. We also tried the pastrami and bruschetta which was also good! We loved the ambience with the music selections and greenery. The staff was super friendly. Would definitely come back.

Highly recommended! I went with some friends and we really loved the food. I had the scrambled eggs in a croissant, it was totally delicious! My friends had the benedict eggs and they loved it! I also had a smoothie without milk, it was really yummy. The service was also good, they were quite fast. The place is not so big, so it's better to book in advance, but they have a terrace as well.

I originally visited in 2024 and everything was amazing! Great wine selection, delicious plates, and fantastic desserts! Since, they closed down for dinner service, and a few months later reopened. I wish I could say it was just as good now. Unfortunately, many of the dishes lacked creativity and proper execution. The challah was burnt, the cecina was really good but just put on a plate with almonds, and the zucchini and sweet potato fritters were soggy. The service was still great with a very nice staff and same great wine selection! All in all, I wish it were as good as it used to be. I will still need to come back for brunch because that seems to be their bread and butter.

Funky and Ethery is a charming little spot with a lovely atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The menu is short and clear, which we really appreciated, and the food was very tasty. I had the Fritada Verde, which was absolutely delicious — rich and flavorful. Personally, I felt it was missing a finishing touch or a contrast to balance the dish, maybe a small salad or some kind of topping. My partner had the Desayuno Istambuler and said it was very good overall, but a bit on the dry side. You can see exactly what both dishes looked like in the photos. Despite our small remarks — which we fully recognize are just personal preferences — we found the food to be really well made. We came for breakfast around 10:30 and the place was peaceful and quiet. A lovely spot for a relaxed morning meal!

Funky Eatery is a really nice place. I love the design, thr concept shop next door, the staff is so friendly and nice and coffee and food are great. Last time I was here was a bit hot unfortunately, I hope they will turn ok the air conditioning otherwise in summer it might be a problem.

A lovely establishment for a quick breakfast. The bread is exceptionally delicious, with a delightful crunch and enticing aroma. The lemonade is refreshing and enjoyable. The babkas are also quite nice. However, when we ordered the lemon tart and hazelnut brioche, they were presented plainly on a white plate without any visually appealing decorations. While they were tasty, the presentation could certainly be improved. The staff is satisfactory, although they do not exhibit the same level of dedication to their work as in other establishments. Additionally, the imposition of a 10% terrace fee does not contribute positively to the overall impression that deserves all 5 stars

Cozy atmosphere with a touch of retro vibes, delicious food with super fresh and tasty ingredients, good vintage music, friendly stuff; it has all to make sure you will have a great experience. I loved the projection of the old advertisements and the cassettes on the tables with the QR code of the menu on them, very creative and cute. We tried beyond burger and egg benedict supreme, they were both incredible 😋 I should also add that the menu has great options for vegetarians and vegans.

Great spot for brunch! We popped in Sunday morning without a booking and we were lucky to get a really cute table in their outdoor space at the back on the restaurant. So my recommendation is to book as they were busy but the staff were very welcoming. We ordered eggs bendict and Turkish eggs both were delicious and the eggs were cooked to our preferences. Just wow! The Brunch food was sooo good - really the best you can get in Barcelona. We had the summer toast (amazing flavours!) and the pancakes (the very best we tasted ever) and the vegan granola (so refreshing). Very good vegetarian brunch restaurant. You need to book a table well in advance as there will be a queue. The mushroom coffee was interesting and tasted good. The Turkish eggs were something different and tasty and the eggs Benedict I can recommend with the addition of halloumi and the vegetarian Italian sausage.

We arrived in Barcelona and headed straight for brunch at Faire. Brunch & Drinks. Yet again, forgot to make reservation but was lucky to get a table for six of us for a Saturday brunch. The staff spoke English and were very professional. They sat us at the corner table in the back with the perfect sunlight. The menu was great and had lots of vegetarian options. One of the surprising items I found on the menu was boozy protein smoothies and it tasted just as great (as I am told by my friends). We ordered green tea, smoothies and coffee for drinks and for food we ordered avocado toast, açaí bowl, chia bowl, shakshuka and omelette. Couldn’t decide which was the best tasting of all. My personal bias for açaí bowl might win it the title here. The ambience was great, the place was quiet and easy to talk in. Absolutely loved starting the day here and continue to think about the food here. Absolutely recommend this place!

I visited Alsur Café and had a good experience overall. I ordered the empanadas, avocado toast, and a lotus cookie latte. The latte was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. I also appreciated that they offer non-dairy milk options, which is great for someone like me who is dairy intolerant. The avocado toast was a bit basic in flavor, though the pomegranate on top was a nice touch, and the empanadas were tasty and satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was quite busy when I visited, so the servers didn’t check in often, but that was understandable given the crowd and not something to complain about. This is a cosy nice place, the food is excellent and the beverages, especially coffee was high quality, the service was excellent and very friendly. My wife and I had our daily breakfast while we were in Barcelona. We will definitely go back next time we are in Barcelona.

Went here for a late dinner during the week and got treated to some good, Brazilian food. Service was (very) fast, food came quickly - maybe a tad too quickly, as we weren’t done with the appetizers yet when we got our plate. Will have to come back for the cocktails since I wasn’t able to try those and they looked amazing!

Located at the Port area in Barcelona, this is an indoor, outdoor Brazilian restaurant. The menu has a lot of choices in each section and there is an entire section for tapioca. The prices are reasonable for the area. We started with the cheese bread balls (Pao de queijo), while there are only 4 in the serving, they are heavier than a bread or roll. For drinks we had caipirinhas (classic and the fresirinha), both were good. We tried tapiocas, the leblon and vegana. Both were good but the leblon need a little more seasoning. Although we didnt need it to be full, we fonished with an estrella, an aperol spritz and the cartola do engenho, a fried bananas, sauce and ice cream. This is a more traditional Brazilian and was a good experience. I recommend sitting outside to enjoy the weather and watch people. There is also live music later in the evening. Overall, the cost was reasonable.

The service was super friendly and everything was nice apart from 1 dish. Very legit and authentic Brazilian food with some seasoning twists. The drinks were also great. They have a Açai caipirinha that I had never seen anywhere else. Recommend to anyone looking to try some Brazilian food. I think they also have live music sometimes.

The meal was really nice, though maybe a bit on the expensive side. Unfortunately, our experience was spoiled by the fact that the place was also hosting a run club with an incredibly loud speaker. It was so noisy we had to shout just to have a conversation — definitely not the relaxing dinner we were hoping for.

The drinks are another love story, they are just delicious and I don’t have other way to say it. Great burger spot! The Double Compton and OG Fried Chicken bun were amazing – definitely two of the best burgers I’ve ever had and cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely and the place has a great vibe. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Barcelona.

We came for brunch/early lunch and had a blast. Everybody got exactly what they came for. For me it was a monster of a meal that was Nashville Fried Chicken sandwich, while my wife had waffles and good strong coffee. The staff was great and weather served us as well. We started this meal with an appetizer of their buffalo wings who were well seasoned and crispy. These wings were delicious. Next we tried the nachos. The nachos were enough to feed more than 2 people and great combination of flavors. Next, we tried fish taco. This crispy taco was great with a good sauce too. Finally, the burger was had a crunch a bit of kick and juicy. We topped off all off with the house micheleada so good we ordered two. I also took a bite of my husbands burger with jalapenos. THE BEST BREAKFAST CAFE IN ALL OF BARCELONA! The best service, the best owners, and the most delicious food!!! A friend who lives nearby introduced me to this place, and I'm so glad she did. I’ve been to Barcelona twice for work, and both times I had breakfast here every single day. I seriously miss having a place like this in Madrid. I was a bit sad that they removed the hash browns from the menu, but honestly — it doesn’t even matter. The selection is huge, and the staff is so flexible and kind — they’ll make anything you ask for. Well, at least they did for me 🤭

Delicious brunch, there was Q but was worth the wait and was not a very long one. I had the waffles and were so tasty, perfect combination of ingredients and flavours. I have tried with my friends the bagel, next level avo toast, and avocado bennis. SUPER DELICIOUS and filling. The basque cheesecake is also good, light and creamy. The atmosphere is good, but hard to talk. I recommend the tables outside. The only downside are the toilets, bad condition.

I was attracted to the cafe from the outside, the theme and atmosphere just makes you feel invited. Indeed, the food and coffee and service were all top notched, couldn’t find any fault with them at all. It was my second time going here and it was amazing again. The amount of every plate is really generous and worth every cent on it. I didn’t expect Turkish eggs to be so special and different from similar plates I’ve tried. Benedicts are fantastic too and I suggest puled pork benedict if you love meat. Super nice staff and the jungle decoration is really interesting.

The service was on point, and the food… huge, tasty, and a bit over the top (in the best way). Instantly became one of my Barcelona favorites brucnhs. The décor is cool, and some of the drinks were an unexpected hit. You’ll probably have to queue (tourists love it 👀), but honestly? Totally worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back.

Decor was very fitting and tasteful. It is a little on the pricier side but worth every cent. Service was a little slow but there weren’t many tables left spare.

Bernie's! I love it here. We don't have diners like this where I'm from in the States, but I enjoy this place immensely. I've had the half-sampler platter and it's good, but the burgers and milkshakes are what I come here for. Strawberry is my favorite. The classic burger is nice and juicy. Staff speak English well and are friendly, it has quick service and the music and atmosphere is on point (who doesn't love Sweet Home Alabama?) Good prices, great burgers, best milkshakes. Definitely recommend.

Great place to eat. Very nice food. We came twice on our trip as we liked it that much. Reasonably priced. Not expensive at all. Plus you get what you pay for.

Ok food. Good group and family friendly environment. Super polite, helpful and friendly staff. I had the spicy burger. It was spicy which surprised me positively but unfortunately haven't wowed me!

You can feel american diner atmosphere inside, menu's and tables feels like 70's america.i tried Bbq burger and that was great!my friend tried ribs and that was better than many argentina restaurants in barcelona. They have estrella in barrel also. My overall for bernie's : 10/8

Excelent burgers and great atmosphere. Feels like time travel into some Hollywood oldie. I would recommend rather for intimate dinner than for larger groups. Anyway, you will feel surprised at the end of dinner to get outside and be in Catalunya.

Incredible 😍 so happy we got a table here. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Food was excellent. Some of the best pancakes I've ever tried! Make sure you have an appetite, the food portions are generous! Iced coffee was the best I've ever had. Wish we lived closer to this place!

Can't recommend this place enough, it's just fantastic. We were staying nearby and had delicious breakfasts for three days in a row. My personal favorite is Huevos Maya. Usually, I tend to try as many different places as possible while traveling, but Garage Coffee just got to my heart 🥰

Such a lovely little spot! The service was super friendly — warm, welcoming, and made the experience feel personal. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the dirty chair absolutely delicious. Definitely a place I’d come back to for a slow morning or a midday pick-me-up.

Eggs Benedict Maya. I love the details in this recipe. Crispy fried onions, pulled pork, and a poached egg to blend the flavors. It was so good! I am a big guy, but even I was full from the large portion size. I will visit again before going back to the USA! Thanks

WOW had such a delicious breakfast. The service was great also, friendly staff and the food came quickly. Nice spot and cool vibe. The menu was amazing, I wish we had discovered this place earlier in our stay because we would’ve come back again as there was so much we wanted to try. Definitely recommend the yogurt bowl it was very fresh.

Super friendly staff and delicious food! The portions were huge, perhaps too big. The reason for 4/5 is that it was so loud in there I couldn’t have a conversation as I couldn’t hear. I felt overstimulated, we did go Saturday lunchtime so I assume weekdays at lunchtime will be quieter.

Not your typical café, and not far from being a hidden gem – in a space barely the size of a garage, a professional team serves an exceptional selection, wonderful flavors, and fantastic coffee. What truly makes it unforgettable is the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We had to wait for a table, and in the summer heat they brought us iced water without us even asking – such thoughtful gestures are truly remarkable!

I liked that it had a nice ambiance and I could work a bit on my laptop while I enjoy nice food & drink. The cacao smoothie was really good. However, service could really be improved. It took so long for them to take my order. The waitress seemed stressed walking around that she forgot to give me utensils… Overall a good place, just hoped service was better.

We were only in Barcelona three days but made sure we ate here twice! The food was very delicious and priced appropriately. The service was top notch. They had vegan options for my husband that he devoured. Highly recommend!!

An interesting place between the buildings and a solid choice for breakfast/brunch. Food and drinks are good, but nothing more than that (there are no special tastes, dishes that will delight you and things that will make you come back). The complaint is that the space is poorly air-conditioned, the kitchen area is open, so heat and smells come from the kitchen. Sour water is obtained in their personalized bottles, and bearing in mind that it quickly spills over if it is poured from the original bottles, that is a minus. The pancakes are nicely prepared, but they need a little more filling so that they are not dry and hard to eat. Eggs benedict with pulled pork is interesting, but it lacks a slightly larger amount of pulled pork, and in my opinion, the potatoes that come with it are unnecessary (and without any sauce for potato).

Great place to visit, good coffe, nicely made smoothies and some tasty breakfast options make this place worth a visit. As it's not exactly in the city centre it's not a very crowded place so if you'd like to get a way from the tourist side of the city, it's a great option.

Great brunch option with friendly staff and delicious food - definitely check it out! Shakshuka was rich, hearty, and full of vegetables, perfect for a cool morning. The pumpkin chicken and waffle was a unique but delicious take - you get the perfect mix of sweet and salty with a variety of textures.

I had a great experience this morning at Mood Brunch. I ordered a coffee, lemonade, the Salmon Eggs Benedict, and the French toast everything was delicious and really well prepared. Paula and Jefferson took amazing care of me during my visit. They were warm, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. Their friendly service truly made the experience even better.Highly recommend both the food and the excellent staff. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice food, good service. Shakshuka and Egg Benedict are highly recommended. Close to the train station.
