I have no words, such a good place to hang out. Was there on a Monday evening, a very chill place, conversation with two bartenders went amazing. One of the best cocktails I've ever had! Had the LemonBerry cocktail and it tasted like a berry flavoured skittle. It wasn't overly sweet and the alcohol taste was very subtle. It was a pleasure to drink and would highly recommend it! The atmosphere was perfect for us after eating dinner elsewhere, we wanted a quiet place for a cocktail. Ambient music was straight off our normal playlist so we felt very comfortable.

A great spot to come if you know next-to-nothing about cocktail culture, but want to pretend you're in the know by going to a famous "speakeasy". Thus, it's incredibly appealing to tourists, Tiktokers, and wannabes. This place is over-hyped to the max, but sometimes bars on the Top50 can be pretty cool so we thought we'd go in with an open mind. This is not one of them. It's like walking into a sponsorship campaign run by Fever Tree and Diageo, while it pretends to be a secret speakeasy spot. Branding is EVERYWHERE. Which explains why they win competitions and get their name in everything, because it's certainly not the drinks or service. The entrance song-and-dance is a joke. I won't get into our experience because it would take too much time, but the whole process is convoluted and pretentious. The woman at the door was quite nice though. The bar was only 1/3 to half-full when I was there. So despite making people wait at the door or in their sister bar Monkey Mash for an hour, there was really no need for it. Service was severely lacking and indifferent. They left us sitting with empty glasses for too long. That should never happen in an establishment that is this popular, isn't full, and charges so much for a drink. The bartender however was great, from what I could see across the room. She really was on top of everything like a machine. The cocktails themselves are hit or miss. Some were legitimately delicious and complex. Others were merely mediocre. Most of them used midrange Diageo spirits as their backbone. Unfortunate. I did like the variety of the menu, and for people who want classics, I am certain that a good server can point you to a signature that is close to one of those. They're on the prebatch train, like so many other bars these days, so don't expect anything bespoke. Not sure what the point of the backbar is if they don't use it. Advertising for their sponsors, I guess? I very much appreciated the back pages of the menu that have the quick summary of the drinks. While reading the explanations and stories can be entertaining, sometimes I just want to know what's what quickly. I also have to give a shout out their no children policy and their no games policy, because I appreciated both of those VERY much. It's such a relief to be able to have a good drink in a mature environment without screaming children, or adults yelling over a game. To the people who seem to think that it's either play card games OR go on your phone, you all know you can have conversations with each other, right? That's what this bar wants people to do. And everyone was doing just that. (Too bad one Canadian was talking so incredibly loudly that everyone had to hear his bragging all night. But not much you can do about that.) For the price and effort required to get in? This place isn't worth it. If it was less expensive, did bespoke cocktails, and improved their pretentious door policy and lay off the worn-out "speakeasy" gimmick, I could see myself returning. But, as it is, it's nothing to write home about and there are so many better cocktail bars in Lisbon now.

Anytime we are in a city with a top 50 cocktail bar we are going. Red Frog did not disappoint. Make sure to get a reservation and know, that while not rushed at all, you will have a limited time inside as it is quite small. Drinks: first round was the Fernet drink and the earl grey both very well balanced. Slight edge to the Earl grey for flavor and balance. But both were very well done Second round: old fashioned and the all American Old fashioned was very nice and a bit lighter than I expected. The All American was very spirit forward but also didn’t taste that way, so be careful! It is served at -20c and it goes down very easy. The menu was much more American liquor than I would have anticipated and was focused more on darker spirits. There is a ‘premium’ cocktails menu that had some interesting drinks. Our only apprehension about this menu was the lack of quality base spirits for such a high price? Casamigos for $65 euro seemed silly The 10 yr anniversary menu was enough for us and very moderately priced. Only downsides there was the lack of Tequila or Mezcal drinks and the abundance of bourbon. That said it was great, just being nitpicky for a top 50 bar! Service was exceptional and the croquets, as advertised may have been the best in Europe Music was also a perfect volume and an eclectic playlist

Fantastic cocktails and small bites. The speakeasy had a really fun vibe and the cocktails are fun takes on all sorts of classics. Recommend the longer reservation time if you want multiple drinks.

This experience is the epitome of a speakeasy. Exquisite service, delectable and sumptuous drinks and a atmosphere that harkens back to a time of class. Red Frog is an experience you don't want to miss. It is pricey but it is worth it if you cherish a grown and sexy experience that lingers in your memory.

I LOVE when people like what they do. You feel how the team enjoy their job, making outstanding cocktails. Their menu is crafted, but don’t be shy to order what you like off the menu. I had a great version of Basil Smash and custom made Whiskey Sour. Their Gimlet (my fav cocktail) is tender, elegant and refreshing.

Came here for one of the Real Fado concerts that was held in the room with the pool tables. Didn't order anything besides beer and sparkling water so can't speak to the quality of the drinks. The ambiance was terrific. Every room is decorated differently with themed tchotchkes. Clean bathroom.

Well worth a visit if in Lisbon, after 9pm….. In the Bario Alto area near the viewing area. Speakeasy atmosphere, some pool tables in the back. Great cocktails selection. What’s on view is what makes the attraction so unique. Highly recommended. You must ring bell to get entry.

Old toy museum turned bar. Not the most comfy chairs and sofas if youre a tall guy, but that's ok as you dont want to be sitting anyway. You'd rather wander into room after room looking at the toys, uniform effects, trains and figurines that's exhibited throughout.

Really stands out from all the bars in the area. Its like visiting an antique shop, very well decorated, and being able to have a cocktail and chat for a while. Service was good and fast, even tho when we arrived only 2 bartenders were working. As 20pm hit the the clock, way more personnel were available. The first 2 bartenders do seem to be less approachable in their mood but i feel it makes it more special. They were all very respectfull and attentive so for me it worked very well. Good cocktails and for snacks there are rustic bread sandwiches and a surprisingly nice hamburguer. Dont expect a filling meal but still nice to have available in a cocktail focused bar. There were 2 pool tables in a separate section which was cool. A bit pricey but i feel its worth it for the décor. Playlist could be updated to not sound like a senior brits cruise.

We had drink, i asked Gemini to find us some unusual bars in this was really the one. Place is unique, museum like, you have feeling that you are in orient express, staff is wearing uniform, sometimes feels intimidating because they are sooo serious and looking at you haha but i guess this is the part of the bar concept. Stuff are rude & uncooperative and not everyone who serves speaks English , modern pop music is played in a toy museum in Lisbon?!?!? (They were playing Ed Sheeran lol) And I asked for Mezcalita, the waiter made me feel like I’ve ordered such a special thing while 5 tables already had it! Only the atmosphere & the decorations are nice, other than that they rely on American & UK people to play such music (thanks for ruining it all guys)!

Funky atmosphere (with some strange decor and arguably rogue choices of certain military figures on display) but that’s where the positives end. Cocktails were strangely mixed, expensive and the service was very inconsistent and almost hostile in its unfriendliness. Started playing pool and was told there was a waiting list after setting up the table. Was then called back to the other table and started playing. Half way through the game as then told it was 12 euros to play, to which replied could have mentioned that at the start. Decided to stop playing based on this information but they charged us anyway on the receipt (in Portuguese). Would not recommend. Go down the road and visit anywhere else actually fun or authentic.

Incredible place! One of my favorite places in Lisbon to go for a drink. This speakeasy is a gem. Knock on the door to get in. The bartenders are exceptional! I’ve tried a lot of their drinks and can’t decided which one I like the best. Everything is good here! The espresso martini was a 10/10 for me. You always get some snacks with each order and they refill it if it gets empty. Great place!

This should easily be a Top50 bar, the drinks are amazing, their signature drinks are complex and well balanced, and the price is more than reasonable. The atmosphere is mesmerizing, throwback to the 50’s vibe and the bartenders are helpful and friendly. I’ve been to bars all over the world and this is easily my top 5.

didn't try any food but omg the vibes here are amazing !!! Good music, cool art everywhere, pool table and the cocktails are incredible! Came by myself as I am solo travelling and felt very comfortable and loved the atmosphere 🫶🏻 Got the amaretto sour which I really recommend! on a quiet street and you could easily walk past it but if you are in Lisbon and wanting good cocktails and cool music vibes, Foxtrot is a must !!

I'm a bit of a cocktail snob. Foxtrot has creative drinks, and a variety of them (plus of course the classics). Their menu says you can ask for your favorite cocktail and they can probably make it, plus they can make any cocktail as a mocktail. There's also half a page of the menu dedicated to gin and tonic versions based on the gin type, which is impressive attention to detail!We sat by the bar and enjoyed the great atmosphere.

The dessert was really amazing. I also had the misty sandwich. Very tasty!

Fun and cozy speakeasy styled cocktail bar, ring the doorbell to enter! The drinks were all delicious and come with complementary peanuts and popcorn. If you're feeling a bit more peckish they do have some food options as well. The ambiance was very nice, good music playing and nice mood lighting with comfortable booths to sit in. The staff were also very friendly and attentive! Would recommend visiting if you're in the area!

Popped up to this rooftop bar for a few cocktails and some light bites and had a lovely time. We took the stairs at first, only to realise they stop at the 4th floor, best to take the lift straight to the 6th from the start! The staff were brilliant, really friendly and knew their stuff when it came to cocktails, which were absolutely delicious. There were vintage games which the family enjoyed, all free of charge, which was a great little bonus. You can run a tab if you’re in the restaurant, but on the rooftop it’s pay-as-you-go, which suited us just fine. It’s a cracking spot for afternoon drinks with great views. I imagine it’s even better in the evening. Would definitely recommend for casual drinks and nibbles in a lovely setting.

Cool bar, dropped in as a sort of last minute idea for some drinks, service, music and drinks were all 10/10. Staff are good, drinks were all great, not a single issue with them. Terrace section that can oversee the city gets crowded quite quick so try get a spot out there because it can fill up fast. Recommend the whiskey sour, and their IPA on tap on the terrace.

It’s a cute bar. Pretty much all the tables were full but besides that is was relatively empty on a Thursday night. Pretty nice view of the city and they have arcade games. Also liked that they play American hip hop music. Drink was yummy

Fancy rooftop on a 6th floor with a beautiful view of Lisbon! Good variety of cocktails and nice music selection :) It’s a bit more expensive than other places but it’s worth it.

Not able to watch sunset from the rooftop, but the bar inside makes up for it with a really nice setting & atmosphere. Reasonably priced with a good selection of food & drink.

Been here a couple of times now after a colleague took us there a couple of years ago. I haven't been here during the day when the restaurant is open but the bar is a really nice place to relax and have a few drinks with friends. The views, especially at night is amazing. Great and affordable cocktails too. Might be a little hard to find as you need to enter into the lobby of a large building and take the elevator to the 6th floor.

The place offers great drinks, the Barkeeper is super chill, as is the music that they play here. You have a nice view over the city, and if you're down for it, there are arcade automats for playing. Love it! Definitely a recommendation

We ended up at Monkey Mash after an issue with reservations at their sister bar resulting in them cancelling our reso. This place is fun to look at. I can't say it truly wowed me. The menu was a little lacking, especially as someone who is not a huge fan of rum or sweet drinks. The space is colourful and fun. The music was really loud and sort of annoying. The temperature was stifling hot, but it was a fairly casual and relaxed crowd. I can't recall what cocktail I tried. It wasn't particularly memorable, but it was good. Nicely balanced and I had no complaints about it. The best part was our server who was a breath of fresh air and so super-friendly! She made the whole experience go from a 3-star to a 4. She even managed to get us in upstairs after we told her what happened to our reso. There is only one reason I'd make the trek here again and that's the service! I mean, pretty decent drinks and awesome service, but the rest isn't really something I'd run to return to unless I'm already in the area.

Very fun bar with unique drinks, an amazing playlist, and fantastic bartenders and servers. Personal favorite drink was the stone fruit, but there were lots of unique options like the shiokoji yuzu or if you’re adventurous there’s one with soy sauce and tobacco. The bartenders and servers had great recs and explained the whole menu!

We were exploring the area and stumbled upon this bar by accident, and I’m so glad we did. We’ve been to top bars around the world and this competes with the best. Our bartender Hitesh was outstanding. The drinks he made were top notch, and he took the time to explain the flavour profiles of each drink and how each drink is made, enhancing our experience. We also told him to make us drinks off the menu and he hit it out of the park. If you have the opportunity to be served by Hitesh, you’re in for a treat! We ended up getting 6 drinks between 2 people because they were so good

A very interesting baroque themed bar with a leaning towards the burlesque/brothel vibe. Not what you expect to stumble upon! I was there early afternoon and there were only a couple of people knocking around. I'd imagine the later the better!

One of the best bars with character that I've been to ever! Walked in solo on a Sunday evening around 930pm and was lucky to find a table. Amazing ambience and friendly staff. The vibe, the feel, the drinks - all fantastic. Had 3 cocktails and thoroughly enjoyed all of em. V reasonably priced drinks overall. The place got quite busy post 11. Oh and make sure to go down to the loo ;) it has a vibe and character of it's own - which adds to the overall experience I wasn't aware of the "rules" of the bar as such (walked in with a waterbottle in my hand ) ; but the way the staff handled it and explained it to me was extremely professional and yet v friendly. They don't have any food, but the staff was kind enough to suggest a brilliant burger joint closeby. Highly recommend a visit if in Lisbon.

Pensão Amor is a well-known and touristy bar in Lisbon with a unique charm. It used to be a former brothel, and you can still see hints of that in the decor and atmosphere – it definitely adds to the experience! The drinks are more expensive compared to other places, but the vibe is fun and artsy, and the staff are really nice. If you have some time while in Lisbon, it’s worth checking out for the history and ambiance.

This place is one of Lisbon’s gems. It’s located on the pink Street and might be maybe the most popular place there. The history of the place is really interesting and it’s been transformed into a chic bar/club with great cocktail and great service. A must visit destination to experience Lisbon‘s nightlife for sure .

It's a cabaret bar. Superb entertainment. The atmosphere is very decadent, the service is a top notch Try Muay Thai cocktail. It's not only one of the most delicious, but the presentation is an absolutely top notch🍹

A very interesting bar the hart of Lisbon. It definitely worth visiting. One caveat: cocktails here are mediocre, the main reason you want to come there is the atmosphere and maybe evening shows. This building used to be a brothel, and they try maintain the style and replicate the vibe. Successfully, I must say. See pictures below. And btw, you can also rent a room here, which definitely worth it 😉

We had lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view and a great location. The food was really delicious, and the dessert was just amazing. BUT!!! The white wine was awful — it was literally the cheapest supermarket wine, yet they charged €10 per glass. Overall though, it’s a great spot for tourists. The staff were courteous, polite, and very pleasant. All in all, I’d recommend it — a great and tasty experience! ❤️

This rooftop bar is located in the fashionable trendy Hotel Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa. It has a magnificent view of the city of Lisbon. We had wine and cocktails here in late afternoon enjoying the view and people. We also had fresh oysters that tasted like it came straight out the ocean 😋

Upscale bar but a great view and atmosphere. Even in the cold weather the heater were actually warm! Drinks were a bit pricey but from the moment you walk in you can tell this place requires a bigger budget. Overall a great experience.

Seen Sky Bar offers stunning views from its rooftop restaurant and bar. If you don’t have a reservation, you won’t be able to sit outside, but we were seated indoors and could still step outside to snap a few photos. I had the beef carpaccio, which was excellent, and my drink—a vodka-based cocktail called Suka—was very good. My girlfriend had the do-it-yourself ice cream sundae, which she just thought was the best thing in the world. From the rooftop, you can see the castle and even a glimpse of the river. It is on the pricier side, and the service was a little slow, but overall it was a very nice experience.

A luxury experience done right — warm, welcoming, and unforgettable As tourists, we sometimes look for the best spots around town and, admittedly, might overlook certain dress protocols—not out of disrespect, but simply in the spirit of exploring and enjoying our time. That’s what happened when we were turned away at Praia no Parque due to my partner’s dress shorts, despite them being clean and tailored. The interaction there was cold and dismissive. We then went to Seen by Olivier, which also has a dress code—but what a difference. The staff welcomed us gracefully and with genuine hospitality, making us feel respected rather than judged. We had four exquisite cocktails, fresh oysters, ceviche tacos, and a beautifully plated dessert. Everything was exceptional—flavorful, refined, and worth every cent. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the scenic rooftop view over Lisbon made the experience even more memorable. In total, we spent around €150 and left feeling truly satisfied—not just by the food, but by the atmosphere and the way we were treated. Seen by Olivier is the standard of elegance and warmth that every upscale restaurant should strive for.

Visited this bar on a Thursday night, very unfriendly and unwelcoming locals within the bar. Lacking atmosphere, drinks weren’t very good made with flat fizzy drinks and even suspected they used a cheaper vodka than requested. Tasted like cheap vodka in a branded vodka. We left the drinks and went somewhere else.

Its a nice bar, the music is a mix of old and new pop music which we love. The bar tenders were friendly, especially the gentleman who was turning 55 last weekend (sorry forgot his name) he was so kind and friendly. Will return on my next visit to Lisbon.

Maria Caxuxa bar is popular with a mixed crowd, busy, lively, with DJs until 3am on weekends. (Looks quiet during the day, but those brown doors are painted rainbows on the inside!) Maria Caxuxa, Rua da Barroca 6-12. Thurs, Fri, Sat 22:00-02:00 (03:00 on weekends)

Great neighbourhood bar / locals are the majority of their customers. Friendly service and fun place to hang out especially if the weather is lovely and you can be outside.

It seems the place is open back again with the easening of restrictions in Lisbon. We were inside. Music was okay. And drinks are average. It missed its old hype. This place was a gem.

It's a great bar, craft cocktails and a very knowledgeable bartender. The own takes pride in hand choosing his alcohol served, some of the bottles you've never heard of but they are all very fine. Ring the doorbell and head on in. You pay for what you get at this bar and the prices are fair for the quality

One of the top bars in the city and not just that, but female owned!!! Such unique flavors and the main bar top is so gorgeous. Made out of a single block of limestone. I found this gem in 2019 and met the owner, who is a delight and a talented young woman. I loved it so much I had to return this trip as well. A do not miss bar if you know what’s good for you. 😉

The bar is known for seasonally shifting menus, and every drink feels intentional and concept-driven. Service: 8.5/10 Water is served on arrival. The team is friendly, professional, and attentive, though the bar does fill up fast—reservations are recommended. Prices run above average for Lisbon, and there’s a mandatory 13.5% service charge added to the bill. Overall, service is smooth and consistent with the venue’s elevated positioning.

A unique and fascinating cocktail program let down entirely by terrible bartenders and bad service, and a bar that feels like a tomb. Look, I like a solid minimalist/modern cocktail bar. I get it. I like the new techniques and creative types of menus and use of ingredients. I do think this whole pretentious hipster vibe can be a good time... when a spot has the drinks and atmosphere to back it up. This place felt wrong from the moment we entered. It was super dark, but that's trendy now. Not a lot of seating, which again, trendy. And it was all tiny, low stools around small tables. Very uncomfortable to be squatting in the dark for any extended period of time. It's a one and done feeling. I had wanted to come here for so long! I followed them on Instagram, loved their marketing, admired their program and I thought the cocktails seemed fantastic. Just my kind of thing. So, I didn't want the first impression and bad seating to spoil it for me. But the experience only got worse. We were purposely ignored for at least 20 minutes, and when I finally did call out politely for service, I got glared at like I was a troublesome child. He reluctantly tossed coasters and menus down and walked away. I get at that moment he was the only one working, and all the seats at the bar were full. But he was far more interested in chit-chatting constantly with those patrons (specifically one man) than serving the rest of the bar. Finally his coworker came but his attitude was even worse. Completely unhelpful, impatient, and rude. He tried to ignore us as much as possible, even when we tried to pay. What a disappointment. By that point, even if the cocktail had been amazing, I couldn't tell (I enjoyed mine, although a friend said hers was the worst tequila drink she's ever had). I was so bummed out by the overall vibes and awful guys working there who seemed to look down on us for no reason. We all couldn't wait to leave. We felt like they hated us. I'm really sad about this because there had been many cocktails on their menu I really wanted to try, but never will now.

I'd like to start by praising the cocktails, which are simply divine! Each drink is a surprise, balanced, creative and made with impeccable technique. You can see that it's not just a drink, it's a little work of art served in a glass. But what really makes this place special are the people. It's beautiful to see the team, Bianca, Vinícius and Pedro, each one flying solo in their role, but creating such a perfect harmony that everything flows with contagious joy. The service is attentive, full of personality and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. Toca da Raposa has the soul of its owners and staff. A Lisbon must. Not a single spirit bottle in sight. Gorgeous limestone bar as a centerpiece. And probably the most unique cocktail experience in Lisbon. Don't leave without trying the Badger or Anaconda. Altho they change the menu every 2-3 mos.

Loved the atmosphere of this speakeasy style bar! The pink limestone and dim lighting gave the place the true essence of a speakeasy. There 14 unmarked bottles on the back wall which add to the ambience. The drinks are well done as well and the drinks on the menu have names of animals or mystical creatures: ray, blue whale, unicorn, stock etc. I would definitely recommend this place along with making reservations on advance as it's a small establishment

Went to have dinner at 20:15. Took a long time before they came to the table. Once we ordered the tuna and the veal tenderloin they arrived with one plate with food (and two empty ones to share the food). Once we asked if the other food was coming they just looked confused as if we had only ordered one meal, no apology or anything. We then had dinner separately. Tuna was not fresh, but the eggplant was good. Veal tasted good.

Tasty and wonderful food and drinks, couldn’t put my fingers on the cuisine until I read others’ review. The only thing I’d suggest is removing the strings of the Christmasy lighting which is completely unnecessary and tacky. The backdrop of the city lighting is more than gorgeous by itself

Amazing experience at Lost In rooftop restaurant! The view is stunning, food is delicious with authentic Indian flavors. Great ambiance, friendly staff. Highly recommend for a perfect evening!

Good view. High prices. Bland food. The kitchen utilizes good quality ingredients and refined techniques; however this restaurant doesn't know if it is indian, japenese, or Portuguese - and they don't do any of them well. The curry lacked seasoning, spice and flavor. The nasi goreng was disappointing. It lacked all seasoning, was missing the sambal, chili peppers, and was closer to chinese fried rice than the dish it purports to be. €18 is way too much to charge for bland fried rice. The samosas were the best item we had; they were flakey and contained fresh ingredients, though no potato. They are small and light. The "milk pudding" was supposed to be indian cardomon seasoned pudding, but it was comically actually just a flan. There was a very nice band playing and the view is lovely

Super nice place to watch the sunset on the bridge! The view was incredible, food was fantastic and fell in love with the cheesecake, honestly would've licked the plate if given the chance. I had planned a surprise dinner for my partner and asked for two things to be done. I specifically asked that welcome drinks be brought to our table without asking (had chose the drinks beforehand) and that the bill never come to the table so my partner didn’t try to pay. When I arrived I had to wait for my table even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was pretty empty. This wasn’t a huge deal at all, we were walked to our table that was situated near the patio. We waited about 20 mins for our server and the server asked about bread and water. We got bread and water and still didn’t receive our drinks. Another server had come over 20 mins after that and I finally asked about the two drinks that were supposed to be at the table (my partner went to the bathroom so I could talk to them). The server had no idea about the request for the drinks beforehand. Anyway, the drinks took about 20 mins as well. We finally ordered our appetizers and they were great - again took a while before we could flag a server down for anything. We got our mains, while delicious, I had to wait 20 mins again to find someone to order my wine. I have never had such horrendous service. At the end, had a different person asking me about the bill and bringing it to the table even though I had said no. Visibly annoyed, I asked the server if they were able take the bill as we weren’t ready to pay yet and then I had to explain that we wanted dessert and that the bill isn’t supposed to come to the table. SUD offers a service in which you can pay through a link on WhatsApp and that was discussed over the phone.. but somehow that was also not relayed to the multiple people we had to deal with throughout the night. Overall, when you’re spending over €200, you expect a certain level of service. I wish I had spoken up while at the restaurant but I was just too upset.

Top atmosphere, interior design and service. This is what you pay for here as the food and drinks are not matching the expectations for taste or quantity given the price tag. Overall, cocktails were quite disappointing unfortunately and have a hefty price tag. Not recommended. Just stick to the basics with vine. Would recommend this place for special occasions, but would not expect too much food wise. Actually a pity. Paid 80+€ per person and were not even properly filled after the meal. A lot of room for improvement on the food side & portion quantities.

The service was top-notch, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful with live music. The singer is so talented! The only one thing which was pretty tiring was that we were waiting more than 30 minutes for getting our table, since we had made a reservation and confirmed it. The staff at the door seemed overloaded and lost at the same time. Not so great organization. But... I can't complain, because in general it was an amazing evening in SUD, thank you! I will definitely come back, hope next time I'll get my table quicker.🤭

This is the most stylish modern restaurant I've ever been to. The staff are extremely professional and friendly, and the food is exceptional. While there's no official dress code, I recommend going in style—it's the perfect opportunity to wear your most fashionable outfits. We had a phenomenal dining experience at Lumi Rooftop! The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming (we didn't have a reservation). Every single dish we ordered was outstanding — bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. We started with the tuna ceviche, which was fresh, zesty, and incredibly well-seasoned. The duck spring rolls were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with a delicious dipping sauce. For mains, the pork shoulder was fall-apart tender, rich, and deeply satisfying. But the star of the show might have been the oxtail croquettes — crispy, savory bites of pure comfort and sophistication. We asked for the wine of the month, a dry red that completely blew us away. It was bold, smooth, and had a wonderfully complex flavor that paired beautifully with all of our dishes. Service was top-notch: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. This place is a gem. Lumi is an absolute must for anyone who appreciates thoughtful, flavorful cuisine, great wine and amazing service.

Cozy rooftop with an intimate atmosphere and attentive staff. The food was good, although on the pricier side and smaller portions - but a good option for a small bite and glass of wine! No reservation is needed and seating seems to be available even on busier nights like Thursday.

After having underwhelming food so far in Lisbon, the octopus here was really good - what I was expecting for all of Lisbon tbh. The cocktails were also spot on. You pay for the quality and the view and in my opinion it’s well priced for the quality you get. Very chilled vibes.

We didn't expect a restaurant offering great views to offer exceptional dishes. However, Lumi was a surprise. The views from the rooftop could be great if it wasn't for the humid and smoggy hot air outside. We stayed inside and chose the following dishes: Spring Roll de Pato, Ceviche de Atum, and Presa de Porto. Though the waitress insisted Lumi's a Portuguese contemporary restaurant. We found the foods were more fusion with influences from Frech, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. The pork shoulder was very tender and tasty. The sour cream/yoga sauce with the meshed sweet yam was a great compliment to the pork. The chopped up tuna blended with cilantro, olive oil and sea salt was a delicacy like the one I tried in Paris. Finally, the duck spring roll coupled with peanut seasme sauce and season's greens was as refreshing as you could get in a hot summer. Bottom it probably truly reflect the mutifaceted culture of Portuguese foods.

This is a very nice resturant to dine while in Portugal. The views of the rooftop over look the other houses and businesses in the area, but it is nice to be outdoors without the intrusion of wildlife that congregate around the street resturants. The food is excellent and the portions sizes are enough for sharing. Seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is no rush. Reservation are a must for dining here. Would definitely recommend this as a lunch option for anyone visiting Portugal.

We had lunch here for my birthday and I had the most fantastic experience. Marlene and Tania gave superb customer service in making the reservation and also on the day. We really enjoyed our breakfasts and a dinner at the rooftop. Highly recommend getting reservations. The drinks were great and the food was very fresh. We had a variety of tapas recommended by the staff which were tasty and good portion sizes. The views make this five stars. You can see most of Lisbon and feel like you’re in a private garden.

Nice roof top location with a great options for Pizza, fish and other dishes. Drinks are also fine and the view is very good to relax in the sun or view the city lights. Prices are very fair. Employees had been a bit overwhelmed and not very friendly. Being a guest should feel more welcoming even in a tourist area.

Super cool terrace and trendy hotspot for brunch and evening drinks right in the center of Chiado. the views are fantastic, I especially appreciated the view to the elevator which is quite unique and I had never seen it from that angle. The food is really good too and in my opinion, well priced. The service was very friendly and efficient. I also appreciated that there was so much space, there are several levels with one of them having loungers. It feels very relaxing. It was difficult though to find the entrance using Google Maps - the entrance is done via Convento do Carmo.

Great views, very comfortable. Staff is attentive and very nice. An overall good experience aldough a negative point is a very simple drinks menu that doesn't do justice to the environment of the place. To eat we tried a vegetable crepe that was flavour depleted - not a plate to be proud.

Uff this bar has it all but the main attraction is the view. From here you can see the city and the elevator too. With a nice seating area to enjoy this perfect city's outdoor, this is the bar to be. We had wine and kept on our adventure!

Wonderful view. I heard they have a very good Sangria so I asked for 2 glasses but it wasn’t possible, if I wanted Sangria I must took 2L for 29€. I ordered a Classic Burger, the fries were pretty good the burger nothing special. It would have put 2 stars but the local is really cool.

Amazing view! There are three floors: top floor is a full service restaurant while the bottom two floors are the bar. We went around 7-8pm on a weekday and there were tons of seating available. We had a hard time finding this place, its behind the large historical building (police station?) you have to walk around the building on the left side and go to the back.

Silk is a rooftop restaurant/bar with beautiful views and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we found the food to be very overpriced, especially given the small portions. Would recommend coming for a drink and eating elsewhere.

Lisbon's vibrant landscape offers a multitude of experiences, and recently, I had the opportunity to indulge in one of its finest - rooftop dining. My destination for this culinary adventure was none other than the renowned Silk Club. While the breathtaking panoramic views of the city, including the Tagus River, were undeniably captivating, the true star of the evening was the culinary experience. A wist on Familiar Flavors: The menu offered a delightful twist on familiar flavors. While some adjustments were needed to fully acclimate my American palate, the steak and eggplant dish proved to be a true revelation.

Very small and intimate place. Kitchen is very well prepared and designed, at the same level than 1star michelin japanese restaurant. All the dishes have to be savoured step by step Very good job. The roof terrasse is not really well decorated regarding the level of other part of the restaurant / bar / dishes

Great rooftop location with a beautiful view. The food was great, drinks were great. I recommend making reservations as they can get very busy. We called and made reservations. The mojitos were so good & made with Fresh ingredients.

Nice small rooftop bar on the 4th floor of the hotel. Great views over Lisbon, and you can see the castle. Drinks were nice, as were the staff. Not much atmosphere, but it was early February and not a hot day, when I could see this bar come into its own. It is not large by any means, so I can imagine it fills up quickly. Overall, it was a nice stop for a drink at sunset.

What a warm welcome I received from the woman at the reception desk at the hotel entrance, who politely gave me directions to the rooftop bar. It was only a short elevator ride away from the entrance. The bar area is smaller than I expected, but it is nicely decorated and the sofas are arranged so that you can enjoy the view. I was very drunk after a glass of sparkling wine 7€ on an empty stomach, and even after drinking 2 liters of water and tea, I was still very drunk.

Nice restaurant with excellent cocktails, rooftop seating with a view of the city's rooftops, the restaurant is located on the roof of the Vintage Hotel. We ordered Calais meatballs and chicken skewers. Everything was really delicious. I recommend it.

Pretty rooftop bar, quite small, so if you definitely want to go here I’d book beforehand. Lovely friendly service too 👍🏻The views are nice, but there are better spots. However I will say I had the best cocktail of my life here…. If you like a spicy/savoury cocktail this is the place. The spicy hibiscus changed my life!! It was PERFECT, so much so I ordered two. Defo worth a trip if you’re looking for some yummy cocktails on a nice sunny day (it can be a little cold if it’s a windy cloudy day, but I’m pretty sure they have blankets).

TLDR: unique cocktails and amazing customer service. This spot is a nice hidden gem! We've been to Lisbon a few times and had never explored this area. This bar was a pleasant surprise. The drink menu is detailed and a tad atypical. The specialty drinks are tailored towards Lisbon the culture and food in one way or another. The music was pleasant and modern hip hop and r&b (not sure if that's everyday of bartender choice). Selma helped us throughout the evening. She was kind, energetic and explained the cocktails thoroughly when we ordered in the event we were unsure of the flavor profile. We also had the duck and octopus highly recommend trying these snacks!

Klandestino is a fantastic cocktail bar! It's got a chill vibe, serves up original and delicious drinks, and the staff is super knowledgeable. A must-visit for great cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere!

You're not going to find more curated cocktails anywhere! Every drink on the menu has been carefully crafted with a lot of thought and passion. I had the El Nativo and it was nothing like I'd ever tasted before. It was a trip in all the best ways. Also the owners/bartenders make zines about their drinks!! 🤩 Also they are so hospitable and will make you feel at home in Lisbon. Also the atmosphere is very cool but also fun.

Absolutely incredible cocktail bar just off the main drag. Jorge was super knowledgeable and passionate about the drinks and the quality homemade ingredients. We came for one after dinner drink and ended up in a great conversation with the bartender team and stayed for hours. I can't wait to return!

By the Wine quickly became my favorite wine bar in Lisbon — and not just because of the iconic wine bottle ceiling. The food is great, the wine list by the glass is solid, but what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They're incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready with spot-on wine recommendations. Their warm, attentive service elevates the entire experience. Stumbled upon this place, headed to our dinner reservations and decided to stop in for a glass of wine. Beautiful place with super helpful servers. We grabbed a couple seats at the bar for a glass of wine. Great spot to watch the gentleman slicing ham and making gorgeous charcuterie boards. So the next night, we went for dinner after seeing all the amazing plates the night before. Food was lovely. Wine was fantastic. Service was great with amazing suggestions.

Stumbled across it by chance one night and saw a line outside - returned the following night to properly investigate. Stunning food and excellent and reasonably priced by the glass range. Waiters worked as a seamless team and explained the menu with excellent detail. Highly recommend tuna on plantains, tempura green beans and ribs with polenta.

Sensational interior, hard working team, and compelling offering. Slick. The tuna tartar with toasted plantain was outstanding. So too the carpaccio of octopus. The peixinhos da horta were on point, but the fried calamari were over cooked and consequently tough. Ordered a bottle of verdelho from Açores having tasted a delicious sample of the same by the glass. The bottle ordered was badly corked and bore no resemblance to the thimbleful of a minute before. Sadly, a young man carving ham, who was asked by our clearly distressed waitress what to do, decided to explain to me that it wasn’t corked, but simply not the right temperature and recently opened (he then surreptitiously re-corked the bottle and secreted it under the bar). I’ve been collecting, trading and enthusiastically drinking wine for over forty years and have managed to develop a ‘nose’. These guys should know better than to try and pretend a wine is fine when it clearly isn’t. We ordered a different local bottle, an Encruzado from Dão that was delicious. Similar price range circa €55 - so both quite decent choices. Sadly the only bad taste left was the charlatan behaviour of an employee trying to shaft the clientele. I only pray it isn’t emblematic of a more cynical business and employee bullying culture - we genuinely felt worried for our waitress having merely explained the product was off. True lovers of wine know when a wine is corked - these guys either don’t (which is not a great sign) or worse, the business model says, bully the customer until they give in if the wine is expensive. Caveat emptor if you darken this door. I’d still return believing the lack of grace, good manners and the rude treatment by one particular employee shouldn’t be enough to ruin what is definitely a commendable operation.

Excellent wine bar that we accidentally stumbled in. And it was totally a pleasant surprise. The Green wine is delicious. They do have some snack, but not a huge selection. But you are here for the wine, not the food.

We made last-minute dinner reservations here after seeing good reviews online and it was such a great experience! The staff were so friendly and attentive, they gave great recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The food was amazing — we had the ceviche, soft shell crab, mackerel tempura, triple fried potatoes and chocolate mousse. Even the butter alongside the bread was delicious! Everything about this experience deserves 5 stars and I absolutely hope to return again.

Wow, what a place. It must be experience in person because no picture can truly make this place justice. The food was nice, I had the hamburger which wasn't anything special. I also tried the tuna which was very good, so go for the small dishes instead of an burger.

Stunning views, good drinks and quirky decor, what would you want more?! The bar is in the rooftop of the 4th floor, you are better off taking the stairs than waiting for the small, slow elevator.

The best lunch we have had in Lisbon. It’s a great space the menu is really fun and totally delicious. If you want to sit with a drink and take in the view you will need to get there early.

Nice space with a creative decoration. There are 2 terraces overlooking the Tagus River, a restaurant and bar serving with fantastic drinks for all tastes. Highly recommend the cocktails. The staff is one of the strengths of the house. If you need any suggestions ask Dani. He will surprise you.

Really incredible food that started with the bread we ordered. We got 4 dishes, which were all fantastic. The views are also great and there's an extensive drink menu if you happen to have a short wait.

My wife and I frequented this place four times during our stay at the hotel. If you want to sit outside - make sure to book it. But having said that: the servers are good at moving you outside as seatings get available. They have a nice selection of beverages and snack/food options. The service is kind of- but a bit slow most of the time. You have to actively get hold of a waiter to order more than the first order. The views are fantastic. Definitely a place to visit.

Tries a little hard, yes- great views from the 16th floor, yes- attentive staff but a little on the expense side for what it is. I do have to say the food was outstanding, some of the best salmon (nigiri) maki we have had in awhile. Melt in your mouth. We started out inside as we were told everything on the balcony was taken, looked like there was a few no shows so we were told we could move. We were staying at the hotel as we had an early flight the next morning and it was close to the airport.

Awesome views and good well priced cocktails

Locale is very nice. View is great and the place itself is cool and not too busy. Espresso was good, but cappuccino just okay. The pastries were not great either: The chocolate cake was a bit dry; the pies would probably have tasted better if they would have been warm. One of the waitresses was very nice, otherwise the service was just fine. Prices were ok.

One of the loveliest coffee shops in Lisboa!! The view is just spectacular; you can see a few viewpoints from here given that it is located in the middle. The pricing is fair, the staff is very welcoming and kind. I really appreciated their kind attitude and the fair pricing.

I was excited for this place because of the view told by many. Definately the view is fantastic, even the walk up to the place was great. I did hear lots of comment about not recommending the food.. we cane for brunch and menu wasnt many. Just a breakfast board or granola or toasted bread for food option. We ordered breakfast board for two and it was ok. Coffee wasnt great, but i did come for the view and shouldve known better to listen to other peoples comment. Definately come for the view if you want to experience it but have food at a proper place before you head up here.

We had coffee and really enjoyed it. I especially recommend the iced latte with Carolyn’s salted caramel (alcoholic) it was so good !! The view is amazing, with a perfect look over the Lisbon viewpoints since it’s right in the middle. Pricing is fair, and the staff and service were excellent.

My own special talent is finding the most beautiful cafes all around the world. My Portuguese vacation ended with a brunch at Café de Garagem, which is right inside the local theatre. Not only the view is amazing, but the food is delicious as well, the portions don't disappoint, the waiters are sweet and friendly and the overall artistic environment is absolutely perfect. I had a latte, an orange juice, a pastel de nata (with cinnamon of course!) and i shared a banana bread with my mum. Even my mother likes this place, I have nothing else to say.

when we arrive at 6pm, waited for 25 mins for a table. a few tables available in front of the window and we are lucky to take the best seat which is right in front of the staircase as there is no big tree blocking the view. drinks are standard, can come if it’s only for the view and a rest. from the cafe walking to the castle is around 15 minutes.

Really nice place with great atmosphere, good for going with friends, watching sports sometimes or even meeting new people in and outside. The staff is fantastic and welcoming, Vicente and Ricardo make the best cocktails and Leo makes you feel at home. Definitely the best option for a night over bairro alto, recommend 100%!

Food was delicious! I enjoyed the jungle curry with prawns from Asian Lab and the flavours were rich and the colour so vibrant. The staff were very friendly for a quick service encounter and very accommodating when I returned to request take-out containers. My aunt ordered a margarita pizza that she really enjoyed (classic thin crust Italian style with minimal toppings, quality ingredients, and great flavor). My mom ordered the seafood platter from one of the vendors, but could not recall which one. We all loved the crisp sautéed veggies served with her fresh fish. We also enjoyed Gelato from the only gelato shop in the food haul. They gelato shop even offered samples, which we enthusiastically took advantage of before deciding on flavour choices. The atmosphere was lively and loud, which aligns with the expectations one might have for a food haul. Even if you prefer a quieter dining experience, I would still reccomend coming here and ordering food as take out and enjoy a picnic by the water. I thought this was a great option for my family since we all enjoy different cuisines and this allowed us each to enjoy our preferred meal while still dining together. A quick note for those hoping to dine on the terrace: all food must be in a takeout container, as plates/trays/real cutlery are not allowed outside. A security guard stopped me when I went to sit outside and advised that this was not allowed.

The food is generally good here, but nothing too spectacular. I'd say it's nice since if you're with a group, everyone can get something different from all of the stalls. Nothing really stood out among the food we got. However, I really enjoyed the tiramisu we got from one of the stalls. Service is fast and place is quite clean.

Inside, a large variety of food stalls offered many different sweet and savory options. This location, I noted, operates on a card-only policy. Unsurprisingly for such a popular tourist spot, the food is quite expensive. I ordered a cod dish that cost past 20 euro, and honestly, it was very disappointing. The flavour was completely bland. While the market's vibrant atmosphere is worth experiencing for a quick look, it's not a place I would return to for a daily meal. You can find better food at a much more reasonable price outside in the city. Overall, despite the grand claims, I was not impressed.

Awesome place for our group of 11. By sheer luck we found seating for 9 and everyone was happy with the variety of places to eat. Huge sitting area, but fills up on weekends so go with and grab any available seats. A bit on the pricey side, but we enjoyed the experience.

Excellent Food Hall! This is a fantastic spot for foodies! It offers an incredible variety of places to eat, and the options are both tasty and affordable. The only real drawback is how popular it is—be prepared for a challenge to find a table, especially during peak hours.

What went well : the building and set up are beautiful, our table, our main dishes (octopus, prawn). What was disappointing : the service was way too pushy (we finished our starter, and right away we were served our main. Also waiters were serving us wine from our bottle every five minutes in order to finish it so we will purchase some more), the dessert was not meeting expectations (Nata pastei). The general sentiment is that we are just a wallet, that the restaurant relies only on the extraordinary and beautiful building, and its fame, and forgets its purpose (restaurant).

I had high expectations for this and was disappointed slightly. The food is good but nothing special, however the octopus and prawns were really meaty and good. It took ages to get us served, then took 45 min for starters to come, then another 45 min for the mains to come. Service was ok but it felt like we were being rushed to finish the wine we purchased and the tables were super close together which didn’t make it feel intimate at all. The setting however is beautiful and truly unique but for the price I would dine elsewhere

This place is GORGEOUS! The decor is stunning. It used to be a palace. It's breathtaking. Our server Diago ( I'm not sure of spelling) was AMAZING!! Incredibly attentive the entire time. We can't say enough good things about the wonderful service we received. The food is good but not spectacular. I splurged on the caviar and I wouldn't recommend it. It had no flavor. The bread it was served with was delicious though. My bill with 4 drinks, meal, caviar, for just myself was over $225.

Its a fancy place, service is great and the architecture is pretty amazing too. Food is good but nothing special in my opinion. It’s pretty expensive and you are encouraged to tip. Its worth trying.

Go for the gin and tonics, stay for the environment! This beautiful palace has been converted into a bar restaurant on the 2nd floor. It is really cool inside; huge staircase, enormous doors with incredible hardware, tapestries, murals.

What was once what I considered the best service in Lisbon in 2022 is now a shadow of it's former self. Gone are the Portuguese employees, replaced by foreigners who don't speak the language. Service is slow, takes forever to call a waiter and food took 1 hour to arrive. Food is still very good, but the service is not worthy of a restaurant of this caliber.

We spent a wonderful evening here. It started with the Ginjinha Sour cocktail (with chocolate) & Caipirinha, then Peixinhos da Hort (beans), crispy chicken, and black pork, as a desert choclate tart. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is attentive, and the food is exceptionally well-prepared and delicious. The price-performance ratio is very good. Thank you for the wonderful dinner.

What a super nice experience! The sourdough bread was *chef’s kiss* amazing and tasted very fresh. Also a very big fan of the fried chicken (prob one of the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere) and the lamb! The dessert we got (compressed cucumber & merengue) was kind of weird on paper, but when we tasted it, we were so pleased with how good it tasted and how well the ingredients worked together. You definitely have to make a reservation though - we went on a weeknight and it was still super crowded!

We had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. A friendly manager confirmed our reservation and brought us to our table outside where we were served by our nice waitress Carole. The menu is meant to be shared by the whole table. They recommend 2-3 plates per person, we had 2 main plates and 1 dessert plate per person, this was enough. The food was excellent. It is quite experimental with special combinations, but I conclude this must be top 3 restaurants I have ever been. The chefs have a kitchen outside so we could see them at work. The environment is very cozy with the light colors giving of a pleasant warmth. One could say the food is expensive, although for 2 people we paid 60 euros, which included our drinks (2 non-alcoholic cocktails). For this high quality food/ unique experience, this price is acceptable to me. I read other reviews mentioning unfriendly service, however this was definitely NOT the case for us, we were very pleased with the pleasant staff. I would not recommend this place for kids, as the food and mood are likely a lot less appealing to them. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any couple or adult friends/family who would like to have a fine dining experience with a casual mood but still high quality food that strikes just the right combinations and taste. Delicious food, really well done, savory and very gastronomic. Iberian black pork is tender and not fat, perfect with herbs and smoked shiitake. Tartar is very rich in taste, salty and sticky because of egg yolk. I definitely recommend eating here . The place itself is very open, with a terrace and service is relatively quick.

Fábrica Coffee Roasters I’ve had espresso here many times — the coffee is absolutely amazing! Rich, balanced flavor and always freshly brewed. The place is cozy with a relaxed vibe, and the staff are really friendly. Definitely one of the best spots in Lisbon for real coffee lovers.

We're avid gin and tonic fans, so had to stop in here. We entered the shop and were asked if we'd like to taste a gin - naturally we said yes, but we weren't expecting a full glass of gin and tonic! It was, of course, delightful, and we sat down in the central seating area to enjoy it. We came away with two of their gins, which are in excellent bottles that we're keeping after the gin is gone... The server at the shop was very friendly, but not pushy. It was a great experience all around!

I had the best time at Gin Lovers! The food was amazing and big thanks to Victor that really got out of his way to make the best gin & tonic I’ve had so far! I’m in love with this place and the staff, would recommend to anyone coming in Lisbon!

Located in and old palace, Gin Lovers restaurant is a perfect place for any gin lover to come and experience their extensive collection of gin's, excellent service and delicious food. Atmosphere of the restaurant is also lovely. A must place to stop if you're in the area, and definitely worth to travel to, even from further away.

The best drinks! A really nice place and great staff. I was here three out five nights in town cause I lived just round the corner. I was there by myself and I felt very welcomed. They also sell their on gin on bottles which made a great souvenir to bring back home.

We only had a couple of drinks as we had already had dinner but we loved the ambiance and the menu did look tempting. A lot of restaurants here are on the smaller side and get quit noisy but this venue is larger with more room between tables. The service is very friendly as well. A nice, romantic spot!

We've been here 3 times during our visit to Lisbon. It's a fabulous cafe with a menu with so many great choices that make it difficult to choose. We've had the power oatmeal, the salmon omelet, the classic breakfast, and lots of different drinks. Everything has been delicious. Our servers have been quick, efficient, and charming.

Stumbled upon this place, cause our AirBnB apartment ist right around the corner. Let me tell you... Its amazing here. The coffee is incredible and the breakfast food is absolutely stunning. Its not the cheapest place to get your breakfast, but to me one of the tastiest around. Service is also very friendly!

A great place for some breakfast to start your day. These coffee labs are all a bit quirky , we tried several during our stay. They are staffed by welcoming friendly staff and offer a wide range of food & drinks. We had scrambled eggs on rye , coffee with pastries or their famous breakfast plate, all good.

I had to take a lot of steep steps from my hotel to the Cafe but it was worth it!!! Top Coffee quality, great selection of breakfest and the music made my morning start just perfect! Barista was very helpful and Friendly. This is the very best example of how this kind of Business must be run!

This Danish coffee shop chain is the perfect spot for coffee and cake - but not the traditional one full of sugar, the healthier version that is not sacrificing in taste. I had the brownie with walnuts (2.50€) - it was quite petite but boy it was delicious, smooth, moist and creamy. Perfect size for a small little treat. Decaf cappuccino with oat milk was also very tasty, one of the best I’ve had in Lisbon so far. They also have gluten free and vegan alternatives on menu such as the vegan nut bars or mini cheese cake. And of course the traditional Danish cinnamon rolls. They make their own rye bread and it looks delicious. This coffee shop is quite small and has no outside seating but they have 8 different ones spread throughout Lisbon.

We opted for the wrap, and I found the price matched the quality quite well. While there's room for improvement, it was satisfactory. The atmosphere was enjoyable. If you're seeking a contemporary experience within the heart of history, this place is worth a try.

Live DJ lady was just right: not too loud and nice vibes. We stayed for dessert and were so glad we did — the Passion Fruit Soufflé with sorbet and the Raspberry Cheesecake were so good that, despite being full, we couldn’t leave a single bite behind. If you’re after top-tier food, unforgettable views, and a lively but refined rooftop atmosphere, SEEN Lisbon more than lives up to the hype.

I had high expectations for Seen, especially as it came highly recommended, and I wanted it to be a memorable send-off from Lisbon. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by disappointing treatment at the entrance. When I arrived, dressed nicely in a chic top, jeans, and elegant Tory Burch leather sandals (with straps at the back), the hostess asked if I had a reservation to which I responded that I did not, then she looked me up and down before telling me my footwear didn’t meet their “chic” dress code. I was taken aback, especially since my sandals were far from casual. The security staff agreed with her, saying I could only be admitted if I changed shoes. Hoping to still enjoy the evening, I asked if sneakers would work because I saw some folks wearing sandals, and they said yes—ironically, sneakers are far less stylish than the sandals I was wearing. I took an Uber back to my hotel, changed, and returned. To my surprise and disappointment, a white woman directly ahead of me was wearing slippers and was allowed in without question. When I raised the inconsistency and clear double standard, the hostess brushed it off, saying she had just switched desks and wasn’t the one who turned me away earlier. The security staff who witnessed it all said nothing other than confirming it was “a different lady.” This inconsistency and discriminatory treatment left a sour taste. While the food itself was delicious and the restaurant’s setting is beautiful, the experience of being singled out and unfairly treated overshadowed everything else. In 2025, it is deeply disappointing that such behavior happens at a restaurant of this caliber. I cannot recommend Seen Lisbon, not because of the food, but because no dining experience no matter how good should come with prejudice.

Great restaurant and it was a perfect finish to 3 nights in wonderful Lisbon. Definitely need to make the effort and dress up for this place, the email confirmation told us to dress elegantly. Views are fantastic and food and service was great. They were happy to move us to a table with a better view.

Seen by Olivier looks great at first — stylish interior, amazing view, and a nice atmosphere. The service was polite and generally okay. But in the end, we go to restaurants mainly to enjoy good food — and that’s where this place disappointed us. Most of the food was just average at best. The steak had no real flavor — plain and boring. And for the price (which is definitely on the higher side), that’s not what you expect. The dessert was the worst part. I ordered a soufflé, but it came out completely undercooked. The top was baked, but inside it was raw, runny batter. When I asked the waiter, he just said “that’s how it’s supposed to be.” I didn’t argue — I’ll leave that on the chef’s and restaurant’s conscience. 🔹 If you’re going for the view and vibe — Seen is a good choice. 🔹 If you’re going for a great meal — this probably isn’t the place. But feel free to try and decide for yourself.

I accidentally mixed the reservation day, but they were kind enough to find a table for us. Customer service is very nice, the indoor is nice, but of course the outdoor part is nicer. Food could have been a bit better, there were no special flavors in whatever we have ordered: lobster roll, pasta, and some other things

You get what you pay for and this has to be one of the best roof top restaurant and bars in the city , external glass elevator, attentat8ve staff , not cheap but you can choose reasonably priced wine and food , seen other comments saying portions are small, I completely disagree , a main and a side is plenty . Great atmosphere and incredible views especially at night, great music and trendy crowd

Very nice upscale restaurant. Food was very good , I would say a bit overpriced but to be expected from that type of restaurant . Service was good , not outstanding . Took some time for plates to be cleared. Sushi rolls were quite good.

Excellent place to enjoy the sunset view. It’s around 145m tall. There is a bar on the top and you can enjoy 360 degree view of Lisbon. If it is during sunset it could become a bit crowded. There are seats and sofa to sit an enjoy the view.

Very nice view of the city. Although two tickets for elevator are 20€ and dont include drink at the top. One cocktail and one mocktail are additional 32€ in the bar, also quite expensive. Overall since I like heights and view of the cities from above it was worth it.

Visited the tower while out for a stroll along the promanade in Lisbon. The tower is 145 metres high and the 360 panoramic view from the lounge is spectacular. Only a few people in there when we visited but I expect it can get really busy during the summer. Nice comfortable arm chairs to sit in and admire the view. There is a bar in the viewing lounge that sells cocktails, coffee, alcoholic drinks. Admission only 10 euros and could stay as long as we wanted.

This is the highest tower in Portugal and there are some fantastic views from here. I found, however, the 10 euro price to be a bit too high for this. So if they drop the price, definitely go for it on a sunny day.

The architectural structure and building are beautiful. You can take the elevator to the top of the tower and see a beautiful view of the Oriente area.

Hidden gem, seen from the street it doesn’t look much, but when you walk down the stairs down to the dinner area of Soul Garden… a door to heaven opens 🤤. Insanely cool outdoor area including ponds, trees and a professional DJ playing House Lounge music made the experience unforgettable. Food was good and price fair (high price but high standards too)

We went for after dinner drinks and dessert. I love creme brulee and wanted to try the lime version. Service was great as well as the desserts and cocktails. I was afraid it would be cold outside, but they had nice outdoor heaters. Everyone spoke great English and were friendly. Gratuity is included in the bill, but recommend giving extra if you appreciate the service.

Sad to say that this has been my best vegetarian food experience in Lisbon so far. So worth the money. Great cocktails and atmosphere too

We came for a leisurely lunch and Debra took very good care of us. It was early March so not warm enough to enjoy their beautiful outdoor seating but the interior is also lush, well decorated, and very comfortable. We had the spicy tuna roll, a chicken and rice dish, and their “nachos” which is actually just chips and guacamole BUT wow everything was delicious. Thanks for a great dining experience!

A very atmospheric and Instagrammable spot right in the heart of historic Lisbon! The coffee is amazing, pancakes are just perfect. There’s a wide variety of vegan and gluten-free options, the menu is super convenient, and the service is friendly and polite. The whole vibe is cozy and welcoming — definitely one of my favorite places in Lisbon now ❤️

Hands down the best coffee in Lisbon. Strong, flavourful, and perfectly made – we even bought their beans to take home. The lemon & blueberry muffin and cinnamon bun were also excellent with just the right sweetness. Can’t wait to return and try the food next time!

If you like the scandi/clean girl vibe, this is for you! The matcha looked great, if expensive. Almond croissant was highly rated, chai pancakes nice although not very fluffy. Oh Jenny smoothie not for us…. Overall, I would go back, but it is a more pricey spot compared to others. Good vegan options!

Review for foreigners: the food is not worth the price. I ordered a blueberry matcha that tasted nothing like matcha (extremely watery). They don't offer regular eggs and toast before 12 which suprised me a little. We ordered two sides of bread and avocado on the side, a coffee and matcha for 27€... 😅The service was amazing tho and the server was extremely sweet. I would only recommend if you go there for the coffee drinks!! 🤍

Absolutely wonderful cafe! We ended up here twice during our 4-day trip to Lisbon. Everyone working here was super kind and inviting, which made for an amazing atmosphere within the cafe. All of the food options were so fresh and super flavourful! The highlight for me was the coffee, my partner and I had iced and hot lattes, and just regular espresso, and every cup was served perfect. I will use my Seagull Method Cafe tote bag back home in Canada proudly! I cannot wait to be able to visit again.

Amazing!! Tiny spot so plan to wait. Worth the wait tho and only about 30 min Staff so friendly and the food was amazing. Went for brunch around 2pm. We had the caramel cloud coffee while we waited spicy girl pancakes that were layered with bananas topped with berries, a caramel sauce, and crushed pistachios that was to die for and not overly sweet and we had the avocado toast with poached egg. Everything we shared.

Wonderful breakfast with many flavors and super service! Had Fritters & Smashed, corn fritter cakes with toppings, fun and tasty. Also, the Sunday Morning with Bacon. That was very yummy, the toast was like french toast, the toppings great, and the bacon crisp - perfect! Also had coffee - espresso and flat white - solid tastes. To end we had a pistachio Cromuffin [?] that was fantastic - crunchy top, muffin bottom filled with pistachio cream. Excellent ending pastry. Went early and got seated, but by 9:30 it was filled with a waiting list. Go early! Excellent all around breakfast, happy to go again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Seagull Method Café – Lisbon, Portugal Might’ve been the best cappuccino I’ve had during my entire trip to Portugal! I’m visiting from Chicago and stopped in for breakfast — I ordered the mushroom dish with poached eggs, a delicious mushroom sauce, and sun-dried tomatoes. It was absolutely lovely. They open at 9:00 a.m., and by 9:18 on a Friday it was already nearly full, but I managed to grab one of the last seats. The staff were friendly, the concept is fun and creative, and I loved the fresh flowers in the bathroom sink — such a charming touch! Definitely a must-stop if you’re passing through or staying in the Príncipe Real neighborhood. Highly recommend!!

Wow this is such an amazing place with incredible food! We visited twice during our four day stay in Lisbon but honestly wish we had gone every day! There was such a fantastic choice of food to choose from and we were all blown away by the food and drinks we got both visits. The staff were also all lovely and offered great service even when they were very busy. Huge well done to everyone involved with this place, you guys really know what you're doing!

I rarely give one star reviews, and I usually prefer to give places I didn’t enjoy another chance by not writing a review and instead sharing my feedback in person. However, this time I felt it was worth mentioning. This Sunday my friend and I specifically came here to have coffee and try the menu. The table we wanted to sit at hadn’t been cleaned yet, so we politely asked the waiter if we could sit, and she said she’d clean it right away. Then another waiter came over and rather harshly told us that we should have waited, saying things like “I need to clean it first” and “you should’ve asked before sitting.” She even made us get up just to move one plate, and then a moment later said, “Never mind, I’ll handle it,” allowing us to sit back down. I’m genuinely disappointed by how common this kind of attitude has become. Going out for a simple coffee shouldn’t come with such unpleasantness. I truly believe that good service and basic courtesy should still be part of the experience. especially in popular places where people are willing to wait in line. Misunderstandings can always happen, but they don’t have to be handled rudely. I hope the staff can be reminded about the importance of kindness and communication. (we had our coffee and decided not to order anything else because of this unpleasant experience)

Went there with a friend and I loved the vibe of the place! The inside garden style where all the tables were and the cool lights and trees make for an amazing atmosphere after the sun gets down. The place offers a variety of drinks to choose from and in affordable prices, I am not sure if they offer any food or snacks however. The stuff was very kind too, overall a very good place to visit if you want something with a unique identity :)

No vibe or music on a Monday night so disappointing. Been here 7 years ago and it was amazing, so thought I'd show it to my husband but apart from the cool setting, there was no atmosphere.

We had to pay 5€ entry fee of which only 2€ were deductible, it is not too bad but this is a mainly a bar not a club, and compared to others it doesn't have to offer much more. 🛋️ Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the location is lovely, i love the furniture and even the little things have many details behind them. Everything fit and meshes up perfectly. The main problem for me has been the music too loud in the bar rooms. ❗If i have to define the style of the club i would say it's alternative.

To pay 15€ for the entrance whereas it was 5€ for the others.…Lisbon has changed definitely…to avoid

Great small bar with beautiful outdoor terrace. We were at this place on a weekday evening, there was no event or crowd and it was nice to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

Chill and fun location to partying and having good times with friends or to bring your date with. They have everything in a whole HOUSE: Bars, 1 dancefloor, 1 Stage, rooftop bar, terrace, chill lounges, even the toilets are well decorated. Unfortunately there aren't enough toilets.

Drinks: The dirty chai latte was well-made, with a sweet chai base and a slightly sour coffee note. It had a Starbucks-like profile, which makes sense considering the other coffee options here don’t really taste like coffee either—more like milk-based drinks with a coffee aftertaste. The cappuccino was underwhelming. The milk completely overpowered the coffee. It felt more like a generic coffee-flavored milk drink rather than something from a specialty coffee shop. Pastries: The pistachio soft cookie had a slight crunch on the outside but was mostly soft. Simply adding a few nuts on top doesn’t make it a pistachio cookie—it was filled with chocolate and tasted more like a chocolate chip cookie with pistachios rather than a proper pistachio-based treat. The vegan brownie was too dry and lacked the gooeyness that makes a brownie enjoyable. It felt like texture was sacrificed just to make it vegan, and honestly, a basic store-bought brownie would have been better. Overall Impression: The price is unjustified for what was served. The coffee lacks depth, and the drinks cater more to those who enjoy milk-heavy Starbucks-style beverages. If you appreciate actual coffee, there’s nothing for you here. If you prefer milk drinks, Starbucks offers a wider selection for a better experience. Overpriced and unremarkable. 16.50€ 2 coffees and 2 pastries. Thank you for the coffee

Loved the atmosphere, Iordered a smoked salmon toast but the avacado toast came. I went up to tell the waiter that I got a smoked salmon toast and she disagreed and claimed I ordered an avocado toast. The avacado toast itself was okay it was what you could expect from an avacado toast. The second thing that I ordered was a latte but this is the first time when I ordered a latte it came in a clear glass cup? Everyone else in the coffee store had a coffee mug with their drink so I was unsure why mine was different?

There was not a bad café in Lisbon that I found, but hello, kristof is at the top of the good ones! The food was delicious and so were the drinks! It had a very nice laid-back atmosphere and the servers were very friendly! I’d highly recommend checking it out!

I loved coming here on my trip to Lisbon! The girls working were sweet and the food presentation was beautiful and coffee AMAZING. I even bought coffee beans to bring home (although this was at the Alfama location). Cool concept with the magazines on the wall and an overall welcoming and warm place!

The breakfasts are delicious — everything is fresh, nicely presented, and the portions are generous. I especially loved the flat white and the toast with salmon. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that the café is quite small.

Really nice breakfast spot. Small menu and we tried the salmon & avo breakfasts. I’d rate the salmon an 8 and the avo an 8 too. Coffee was an 8.5 (really good score) and matcha was a 7/7.5. Really recommend if you’re visiting Lisbon!

Great breakfast in a cosy cafe! ☕️ Didn’t see the banana cake on display and found out we were a little early at 9+ in the morning, and decided to wait for it to be ready which took only 15 minutes from the point of ordering - and it turned out great! I believe it’s one of the best banana cakes I have had so far 👍🏻 🥐 the ham and cheese croissant was great, can’t remember if I have a benchmark for this but this was a good one and certainly hard to beat 🥑 avocado toast was good too, a very generous portion and also came with fresh salad on the side too ☕️ coffee was alright, a 4 stars here - mocha was decent, not milky and had a strong chocolate flavour too, just what we liked Overall a great experience, beautiful interior design and friendly staff paired with the lovely food 👍🏻

I’m rating this place for brunch/breakfast as it was what I was looking for and there is a lot of competition in the brunch sector. The food is well made but those are things you can make easily at home in a small kitchen. Hence, at this price I would expect more. The coffee is very good though, so if you are looking for special coffee I can recommend it for that.

This was a nice surprise to stumble upon while in Lisbon, Portugal. This quaint cafe has both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The espresso was nicely done and very tasty. Because “cookies” was in the name, I HAD to try one! And yeah… I was pleasantly surprised even with high expectations. Super soft and moist, it just melted in your mouth— clearly just out of the oven. The espresso was quite good as well. I would return any day !

Milkees Specialty Coffee in Lisbon is a quiet standout—thoughtful coffee, warm service, and a vibe that makes you want to pause and stay a while. We ordered two flat whites, both smooth and balanced with just the right touch of brightness. You can tell the baristas care about the craft, and it shows in every sip. We also had their Nutella berry toast, which was exactly what you’d hope for—crispy sourdough layered with a generous spread of Nutella, fresh berries, and just enough sweetness to feel like a treat without being over the top. The dark chocolate chip cookie with sea salt was rich, chewy, and perfectly finished with a bit of crunch and contrast. Everything felt easy and well done, from the food to the mood. Milkees is the kind of spot that quietly delivers, and I’ll definitely be back.

I was expecting more from this place as it’s highly rated. The service wasn’t great, no friendly hello & general felling of being unwelcome, the coffee took quite a bit of time and the quality of the coffee wasn’t great (more milk than coffee). Atmosphere isn’t bad.

They have a great V60 and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We also tried the brownies and the chocolate peanut butter cookies everything was delicious!

Sticky floors! sticky floors! sticky floors Saturday 8:45PM. There was a bit of a queue but service was fast. Mix clientèle but mostly tourists. Had 2 shots. Love this cherry sour Portugese liquor. I prefer the other Ginjinha store nearby though.

This is a fun experience, and the place has an interesting history. Their website describes the process as well as the history, a great read. Then, enjoying the shot is a thing to do in Lisbon, and it’s a pretty tasty - and strong - liqueur.

Loved the history, fast bar service, kindness of the people and tourists enjoying the cherry based Portuguese ginjinha. Fun experience with sticky floor.

I'm allergic to cherries but had it anyway (I was fine, took a reactine). We had to try this spot when we're in Lisbon cause Anthony Bourdain recommended it. It's cash only and the Mr at the bar asks if you want with or without fruit in the shot glasses. Plus you can wash your hands by the little sink on the right since the liqueur can get quite sticky.

Nice place that keeps the local tradition right in the cuty center. Go there just to see the traditional serving and taste the famous liquior. I can assume in production they use below average quality alcohol - bad hangover is the proof of it. Having one shot is OK, but don't buy the bottle in this place, go to proper liqiuior store for that!
