Outdoor Activities
Machida Squirrel Garden is a charming and vibrant sanctuary where you can interact with an abundance of adorable squirrels, as well as guinea pigs and rabbits. This unique animal experience sets it apart from traditional zoos in Japan. The garden is home to over 200 friendly squirrels, along with two giant tortoises. Visitors are provided with protective oven mitts to feed the squirrels by hand, adding to the delightful experience.
So cute and fun. Can feed and hold some animals. A place to take if you have little ones.
Y T — Google review
Machida Squirrel Garden is home to many Asian squirrels. Hundreds of adventurous squirrels live in colorfully decorated houses. Super friendly, you can feed them if you want. Interestingly, each squirrel has its own name and own house *with its name on the side.
Mark W — Google review
Wow, we loved this place. There are so many squirrels in America that we miss so it was nice to come feed the squirrels. You were a and they jump on your head and this giant turtle was just the best.
Jason S — Google review
My partner and I came here on one of our first days in Tokyo and this place was such a highlight! If you're planning on visiting, be prepared for the squirrels to crawl all over you- it might be a good idea to wear heavier pants that you're not afraid of getting dirty. I absolutely loved how a lot of the gifts you could buy in the gift shop were designed by kids! Made everything we bought there feel so special.
Tav L — Google review
So this was the next highlight that we wanted to engulf ourselves with. After doing research, we found out that this was run by loving adults and the community was helping support them in many ways. We were both so happy to visit this place that we wanted to take our time and purchase as many things as we could to help support the squirrel garden. I hoped it helped because we really enjoyed the mini zoo.
Joey R — Google review
Came 45min before they closed and it was quiet, but still plenty of time to see this small park, only ¥500 entry cost. You can get a small feed bag to feed the squirrels for ¥100 it is worth it, (tip: if you rustle the bag of food near one of the more energetic squirrels you can coax them onto your shoulder or chest. Otherwise it is kinda fun watching all the squirrels skitter around. Most the animals here seem really well cared for, however the turle's tank was kind of dirty when I came but I'm not sure what kind of environment that kind of turtle prefers.
Mitchell H — Google review
Went an hour before closing time and it was perfect. It wasn't crowded and the staff is very nice and helpful. Squirrels aren't shy at all and its very fun to watch them run and climb everywhere. Be careful to wear thick clothes because squirrels can scratch your skin when climbing on you.
Lily — Google review
Very friendly and cute squirrels with plenty of space to interact, even on a busy day! I wish that the other enclosures were as ethically managed, but unfortunately, the rabbit and turtle cages/tanks were upsettingly small and dirty.

Park
Nestled in the scenic surroundings of Sagamihara, Sagamihara-Asamizo Park is a vibrant oasis that beckons visitors with its stunning hydrangeas and diverse attractions. This expansive park features a lookout tower offering panoramic views, alongside sports fields perfect for casual games. Families will delight in the petting zoo where children can interact with friendly animals like ponies and rabbits. The Asamizo Park Museum adds an educational twist to your visit, showcasing traditional Japanese architecture amidst lush greenery.
Very huge part consisting lots of attractions for all ages kids. There are beautiful flowers gardens, wide and green field looks like soccer one, but if fact just free playing ground, playing ground dedicated for kids aged 2-10 years old, basketball playground, small zoo where you are able to ride a pony, per rabbits, watch peacock and other birds. To be honest, we have been there 2 weeks ago for the first time and were not able to walk it all. So we plan to visit it again and again. Very recommended to families, couples and sport activity lovers.
Nurlan N — Google review
Great park. Lots of open space, playgrounds, restrooms, paths for walking. Couple of parking lots. Greenhouse with lots of plants was only ¥100 to access.

Very nice park with plenty for the whole family to enjoy! There is a small petting zoo area and pony rides. There is a really cool area with 25 obstacle type areas that children can climb on. That area was a really big hit with the kids. There are beautiful flowers everywhere and a sprinkler area for kids to plaice cream. There is plenty of shaded areas as well as picnic tables for eating. Great parking available, bathrooms throughout, and food vendors nearby as well as vending machines with cold drinks and icecream.

Beautiful gardens to enjoy and have a picnic. There’s a field, playgrounds and a small zoo and petting zoo area which are all free to enjoy. For a small fee you can ride the ponies and feed the guinea pigs. There’s plenty of parking in the lot at the park and across the street as well.

Buaisō is a charming museum that showcases Japanese arts and crafts, housed in a traditional, thatched-roof home once owned by Jiro Shirasu, a bureaucrat from post-WWII Japan. The museum offers visitors the opportunity to admire the beautiful architecture of the home and enjoy a tranquil view of the garden while dining in the high-ceilinged cafe.
A self-claimed "country gentleman" Jiro Shirasu purchased this place in 1942, now open to public with many of his original possessions in display. The house (museum) is very well maintained and its history well explained (in Japanese). It also has a restaurant which serves curry based on Mrs Shirasu's original recipe (lunch only). It is a bit hard to find but is located in the middle of a quiet residential area.
Ryo F — Google review
Nicely charming home of Jiro Shirasu turned into a small museum. It’s a beautiful thatch roofed home with a cafe that offers dining in a high ceiling room where you can relax and enjoy a view of the garden.
D C — Google review
A hidden gem restaurant. Not in easy-walking distance from train stations around there but can enjoy traditional Japanese western meals called “Yoshoku”. Although price is higher than standard around the neighborhood, it really worthwhile. The atmosphere is great. It is clean and surrounded by greens. There are parking lots available but it is a bit hard to find the location of the parking. Definitely will go back there. Love it so much.

Outlet mall
Grandberry Park, formerly known as Grandberry Mall, is a modern outlet mall located just 40 minutes away from Shibuya in Kanagawa prefecture. The mall offers a wide range of well-known retailers and also features various entertainment facilities such as a climbing wall, cinema, Sega game center, Snoopy Museum Tokyo, and Machi Library. Additionally, visitors can take a break from shopping and enjoy nature at Tsuruma Park by having a relaxing picnic.
Don’t have time to go to Gotemba? You can try visiting this premium outlet instead. The atmosphere is calm, and you can even meet Snoopy. It’s very easy to access from Shibuya Station.
Anggia P — Google review
Huge mall and easily accessible, connected directly by the metro. Despite the many brands and shops, I was done in 2 hrs and left with just a sling bag towards the end as I was walking towards the train station getting ready to head back empty handed. Disappointed at the prices here, aren't exactly outlet, or at least not as attractively discounted as the US outlets.
Daphne Y — Google review
We originally came here just to visit the Snoopy Museum, but it turns out Granberry Park is a big outdoor mall complex — and we ended up spending the whole day here until evening. Lots of food options at the Gathering Market, and we ended up shopping quite a bit too. The kids were super happy because there’s an arcade as well. Overall, a really fun and spontaneous family day. Worth the visit if you’re in the area!
Hendra C — Google review
Grandberry park is a must if you want to get a local vibe and need for a shopping spree. Plenty of stores to choose from. Lots to see, eat and kid friendly. Right next to a park itself, so plenty of runners, dog walkers and locals hanging out that are willing to interact with you. Very updated area that has allot to offer.
ROY T — Google review
There is ample parking and is conveniently located next to the Tokyo-Den Entoshi line. There are a lot of affordable stores, and not just the high end boutiques. The food court and the gathering market has some delicious food as well. We prefer to come during the colder months because this is mostly an outdoor outlet. People bring their pets (we've seen dogs, cats and pigs), so during the summer heat, the smell of urine is strong. Other than that, we go back every so often.
Brittney O — Google review
Very practical, Shopping outlet just near down town Tokyo. The shops are Complete enough and practice use train from Shibuya. This outlet shop can be alternative for tourists, since Gotemba Premium Outlet is relatively apart from Tokyo, they can enjoy shopping here for faster and cheaper transportation. There also many restaurants, food court or food stalls. International Branded shops or local Japan brand also available.
Prima P — Google review
Here is connected to the Miami-Machida Granberry Park station. In the station, there are lockers for those who want to store their bags to shop hands-free. Once you go out, there is a bridge to the outlet. There is also a kid zone. I think they should have more restaurants, then it would be more perfect.
Tony C — Google review
Grandberry Park is a leading outlet and commercial complex situated just a 35-minute train ride from Shibuya. Connected directly to Minami-Machida Grandberry Park Station, it stands as one of Tokyo’s most expansive destinations. Boasting over 240 stores, this captivating entertainment park offers a diverse array of shopping, dining, movies, and outdoor experiences. Located adjacent to Tsuruma Park and the Snoopy Museum Tokyo, it provides endless opportunities for enjoyment, ensuring a day filled with excitement and delight.

Museums
The Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts is a unique museum dedicated solely to prints, housing Japanese and Western pieces dating back to the 8th century. Visitors can appreciate the art of printmaking and learn about its production process from a Japanese perspective. The museum, conveniently located near Serigaya Park, offers a serene atmosphere for art lovers to explore its extensive collection of around 17,000 prints.
Parking was easy and cheap and the exhibit was top notch. Plus the staff was really nice and helpful!
Hannah B — Google review
I was so excited to go to this museum. I loved the atmosphere and the interactive studying system on the first floor (the last 3 photos is this spot; Japanese only). We didn’t go inside the main exhibition because we didn’t expect it to be not free but even though we enjoyed free exhibition and studying materials. Anyway my impression was spoiled by the attitude of the staff. I wanted to take a photo of the book to think about buying it later, but Staff came up to me and in rude, simple Japanese (+ to the racism of the Japanese) said that I could not take photos. There were no signs about this anywhere, but that’s not the point. It was rude and disrespectful. I can speak Japanese very well but she even didn’t supposed it and spoke to me in rude Japanese. The museum could be popular, but it is almost empty, there are no visitors and such behavior will never attract more people there. I don’t want to go there anymore, although at the beginning I sincerely fell in love with this place
Love T — Google review
A nice museum. When we went there was a free exhibition about Daumier and his drawings. It's not such a big art museum, but the people are nice who work there and the museum itself is in a park. This means that the air is a lot cleaner than it world be by roads. It is a little far from Machida Station though.
Justin C — Google review
Exhibition is quite small, but still interesting. If you are in the area give it a visit 👍
田中助太郎 — Google review
Very educational ~ actually my favorite section of the museum was the mini library - it had an amazing collection of works - one series reminded me of old school almanacs but high lighting art periods ~
Omima M — Google review
It's one of the good place to visit if you are a art lover.. Old printing technique & the drawings displayed.. Very quite.. Nice atmosphere, near by serigaya park is there.. Friendly staffs. Inside you are not allowed to take photo with flash.. It seems free entry for the museum (may be this summer they allowed free entry).car parking available but it's paid.. You can spend good time here.. After finishing, you can spend some time in the park whixh is quite big... Over all good place to visit & good experience..
Renga R — Google review
Somehow, English translation of the museum is "Graphic Arts" but at least it is not the general usage of the English term I am aware of. The museum focuses only on printed drawings and paintings like ukiyoe in Japan or engravings in the West. I hope the foreigners do not misunderstand. The exhibitions are consistently very high in quality. The particular exhibition I visited recently let scales fall from my eyes regarding modern ukiyoe.
E S — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this small but mighty museum in Machida. For one, they have the “David and Bathsheba” series of prints by Picasso in their permanent collection, which I did not expect and was pleasantly surprised to experience. Their current exhibition on the history of printmaking in Japan is an excellent primer to the history of the artform, from Buddhism to Ukiyo-e to magazines. If you are in a design or art field and/or interested in prints and printmaking, I highly recommend a trip. It’s located in a charming little park with some interesting installation art, lovely trees, and a water feature stream system for children to play in.

(Translated by Google) This visit will be on November 12, 2023. It's a shopping street that has a very retro Showa feel to it, with an exotic (almost Asian) feel to it. It is full of unique energy. It seems like it's been around since 1947. I see. Originally, it was mostly occupied by retail stores, but now it looks more like a gourmet street. The xiaolongbao at the entrance is available for take-out, but it seems to be popular and the people trying to attract customers were putting effort into it. As someone else has said, shops that are closed during the day (or night) do not necessarily mean they are not open; they may be open at different times of day and night, giving the impression that they have different faces during the day and night. It seems to be suitable for eating Okinawan, Thai, curry, hamburgers, large-sized grills, ramen, etc. It might be a good idea to visit on an empty stomach.

If you're an egg enthusiast, then 小川フェニックスSweet eggs is a must-visit destination! Nestled within a chicken farm, this charming egg café offers an array of delectable dishes featuring their premium "Yamabuki" variety of Ho-o Eggs. Start your day with the classic raw egg over rice paired with miso soup; the rich yolk and beautiful texture are simply divine.
Great place to go if you love eggs! The carbonara here is great! Their eggs are high quality, so their food taste really good. Plus, you can get boiled eggs, for free! But more than dining here, I like their cream puffs. If you go there at certain times, you can get them for a little over 100 yen. Now these are limited and usually go fast, so you have to be there before they start selling them. However, and even if you can't get the cheap version, you can buy some at regular price and they are one of the best cream puffs you will eat!

(Translated by Google) [Egg Lovers Must See! A Rich Morning at a Poultry Farm-Operated Cafe] Located along the so-called "Egg Highway," this shop is directly operated by Ogawa Phoenix. Enjoy dishes and sweets made with fresh brand-name eggs, "Hou Eggs." Right at the entrance is the merchandise area, where you'll find the shop's famous Houou Eggs, sweets, puddings, and local vegetables. I was looking forward to cream puffs, but when I arrived at 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning, they were already sold out! (They open at 7 AM on weekends, so even though I thought I'd arrived right when they opened, they were incredibly busy.) Refreshing myself, I decided to have breakfast in the cafe space in the back. The shop offers tables, sofas, and even a dog-friendly terrace, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating. (You reserve a seat first, then order and pay at the register.) After some deliberation, I decided on the following menu items. ■Morning Eggs Benedict W (1,078 yen) ■Soup Set (150 yen) The "W" was a very satisfying plate that allowed me to enjoy two types of eggs Benedict! 1. [Poached Egg Type] When I cut into it, the bright orange yolk was melting! Just as you'd expect from Houou eggs. The hollandaise sauce was also not too sour, bringing out the full flavor of the eggs, giving it the "egg shop's eggs Benedict" feel. It was delicious. 2. [Egg Filling Type] This type comes topped with an egg salad (filling) made with Houou eggs. The simple seasoning of mayonnaise, salt, and pepper allows you to directly savor the deliciousness of the eggs themselves. Eggs are the star of both dishes, and being able to enjoy two different flavors was fantastic. (Personally, I think it would have been even better if it was a little warmer!) The soup included in the set changes daily, and on this day it was "Vegetable Consommé Soup." It had a gentle, comforting flavor, packed with local vegetables like carrots, radishes, and onions. Next time, I'll definitely return to try the cream puffs, although the breakfast is also good! Thank you for the meal. Shopping mall
MITSUI OUTLET PARK Tama Minami-Osawa is an American-style grand outlet mall offering a wide range of popular brand fashion, outdoor and home goods, toys, and restaurants. With over 100 stores in a French-inspired two-story townscape, shoppers can enjoy additional discounts at 39 tax-free stores including renowned brands like Michael Kors, Beams Outlet, and adidas. Walk-around and start scanning some great deals here. You might find some good bargain 👍🏻. Few brands offer great deals such as Vans, Nike, etc...

Today, I had a very unpleasant experience at a Levi’s store. The male staff member (a well-built man who seemed to be wearing glasses) said nothing during the checkout. Less than ten minutes later, I asked for a refund, but he told me that their store does not accept refunds unless the item is defective. Is there really any Levi’s store or major outlet in the world that refuses a return within just ten minutes? Since it seemed impossible to communicate with that staff member, I went to the customer service desk and explained the situation. The customer service representative told me that the receipt clearly states that returns are accepted. The customer service desk then contacted the Levi’s store on my behalf, and only after receiving their call did the staff member finally process my refund. Although I felt very uncomfortable as a traveler, I still thanked him before leaving the store — but he didn’t even respond or say goodbye. Instead, I could hear him mumbling something behind me. As an overseas visitor, I was extremely disappointed and offended. I sincerely hope that staff training will be properly reinforced.

This outlet is conveniently linked to several malls, offering a wide array of shopping options. If you can't find what you're looking for in one mall, you can easily stroll over to another nearby. However, it's worth noting that the outlet prices may not be prominently displayed. Therefore, it's advisable to inquire / check about any available discounts or promotions to make the most of your shopping experience.

The outlet is right next to the metro station so it's very convenient. There are many local Japanese brands which offers good price. The most surprising thing to us is there's even a glasses store which the frams price is very reasonable and you could pick up your glasses in an hour's time. Food wise, you could either dine in the restaurant within the outlet area, or could just walk for a minute back to the train station where there's a shopping mall with many other food option.

Great outlets in the same place. Good parking space but need to walk just a little but to reach here. There are some food stalls. We loved to explore and do shopping.

This outlet is only 40mins by Keio line from shinjuku, sizes is not very big but already good enough to do shopping. Many brands here including franc franc, adidas, Nike, beams, as know as, acis......they also have a supermarket inside the outlet. Recommend.

This is a good place for you to travel at Japan. It takes 45 minutes from Shinjuku station. You can shopping here, eating, drink coffee, photo shooting. If you like Puma, Adidas, Nike brand, I recommend to buy these sneakers here with very chip price if you don’t mind they are late 1-2 season (cause they are outlet).

Not too many shops compared to other outlets in Tokyo. However, this one is close to station with lots of restaurants nearby. The outlet itself has 2 floors, and contains all the major stores you expect to find. Great shopping especially during January discount period.

Chinese noodle restaurant
Ichiban Ichiban is a vibrant noodle shop that offers a variety of delectable dishes such as dumplings, rice dishes, and buckwheat ramen served in a rich pork broth. The restaurant features counter seating for an interactive dining experience. One cannot miss the standout bowl of ramen which boasts freshly made noodles and wontons prepared on-site. Attention has been given to every detail of this dish, making it highly recommended.
Wonderful bowl of ramen! The noodles and wonton are made on the spot. Every detail of this ramen is really thought after, highly recommended

First visit Saturday May 24th to the famous “Ichiban Ichiban" [ 一番いちばん ] near Machida station on the Odakyu line, which made it onto Tablelog's top 100 Ramen shops for the past several years. Took the train to Machida station, exited from the NORTH exit, then walked like 10 minutes, arriving at the shop at 10:43am. I was first on line. They open at 12:00pm noontime, so 1 hour and change of waiting is a small price to pay to be seated and served first! At 11:54am, the worker opened the shade, opened the door, and hung the Noren above the door. Then he thanked everyone for waiting and bowed. I was then asked to enter the store. There is a sign asking to spray your hand with alcohol and I did so, and then entered the store. Went to the ticket vending machine, but I had a question, so I asked the worker quickly what the difference between the 1400 yen and the 1800 yen selection was. He explained the 1400 yen version had less items and the 1800 yen version had 4 wontons and "lots" of chashu. Guess which one I picked? 😋 I got the "Handmade roasted pork and wonton ginger soba" [ 手打 燒豚 雲呑生姜そば ] for 1800 yen and... had to try the Roasted pork rice bowl [ 焼豚ごはん ] for 380 yen. I was then directed to the first seat at the visually stunning and really nice counter. What was also really nice is the space between the seats. Most other ramen joints would squeeze an additional seat in between everyone. But not here...it was really spacious and a very comfortable seating arrangement! Was taking in the very homey atmosphere, watching the preparation of my ramen, and less than 10 minutes later, my ramen was served. There is nothing that I can complain about at all. Everything was superb and absolutely delicious! Oh how I am loving all these ramen shops making these handmade squigly chewy noodles recently. They are so wonderful! I also do have to make a mention about the Roast pork bowl. Most places serve a pork bowl with uniform size pieces of meat. Not here! And it really worked out great that all the pieces were different sizes. Normally you'll finish the pork before the rice, and you'll be left with half a bowl of rice. But since there were also so many small bits and chunks, the pork "lasted" all the way to the last bite of rice. And it was super yummy as well, so you MUST get their roast pork bowl when you come here! When I left the shop all full and satisfied at 12:25pm, there were 17 hungry people waiting in line. So be prepared to wait, but it will be well worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable meal!

We came slightly late in the afternoon so most of the items were finished, but overall the taste wasn't worth the trip —it was a bit too salty for me—it's a good place to go if you live nearby.

I arrived about 15 minutes before opening, and there were three people in line in front of me. They opened right on time, and I went in. It took just under 20 minutes for my ramen to be served. The noodles are hand-made in the back and brought out each time, and are hand-kneaded before boiling. I ordered the plain Chinese noodles, but it came with three types of pork! The soup had a distinctive lamb-like aroma, but was it oil? (Translated by Google) This restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from Machida Station! It originates from "Tora Shokudo," known as the pinnacle of Shirakawa Ramen, Fukushima Prefecture's incredibly popular local ramen. Including its predecessor before relocating, this restaurant has been in business in Tokyo for over 20 years, long reigning as the city's premier Shirakawa ramen. Please check X (formerly Twitter) for opening hours. I waited in line for over 30 minutes, but the spacious, old-fashioned interior and the elderly couple working diligently were heartwarming. They accept cash-only tickets. This time, I ordered the "Toku Handmade Chuka Soba." They offer thin, straight noodles for 100 yen cheaper, but I'd definitely choose the handmade noodles. The aroma of rich chicken oil lured me into the soup, and the rich flavor of the chicken combined with the richness and sharpness of the soy sauce created a truly delicious taste. And the flat, curly noodles, the signature of Shirakawa ramen, were even better than I imagined! Not only is it a divine match with the soup, but the smooth, chewy texture is absolutely addictive (lack of vocabulary). All three types of char siu are carefully prepared, and it's hard to choose between the pork loin, pork belly, and chicken! The toppings, like the char siu, are generously sized, especially the wontons, which are incredibly filling. The wontons are perfectly seasoned, and the chewy skins make for an exceptional dish. I was impressed by the perfect toppings, and finished the whole thing. It was a high-quality bowl that definitely provided a return on the 1,400 yen price tag. The ginger soba is also a must-try. To cut to the chase, I felt that the wait in line and the price weren't worth the taste. The line was a little longer than it looks in the photo, so I thought it would be no more than 20 minutes, but it was way beyond that. I can't believe we had to wait in line and then wait 100 minutes in the parking lot... The turnover was really slow!!! They didn't start boiling the noodles until they were able to hand over all four of us our meal tickets, so half the seats were wasted... I was hoping to wait in line that long, but unfortunately the soup wasn't that great... However, the handmade noodles were chewy and delicious. A bowl of ramen was 1,100-1,400 yen expensive, which was a shame, to be honest... I'm glad I didn't go with my family.

(Translated by Google) I think this is the most popular motsuyaki restaurant in Machida. There's always a line before they open at 4pm. It gets so crowded that you often can't get in if you just drop in. If you want to go, I recommend going right when they open. The drinks and snacks are delicious. I especially recommend the pork liver, spam cheese, and teppo. The teppo is seasoned with miso, and is incredibly tasty. The sauce is also delicious, but I recommend trying it at least once. I'm also happy that they have umewari and hoisu (pickled plum cocktails). You don't see these kinds of drinks very often in other restaurants in Machida. If you sit at the counter, if you're unlucky, someone might eat their fill next to you, but you'll just have to accept that. There's nothing you can do about it. I recommend it.

The Bonno Sagamiono mall is an indoor shopping center in Kanto, Japan with a wide range of specialty stores, a supermarket and numerous dining options. It is spacious and has everything one could need under one roof. While it may not offer anything unique compared to other Japanese cities, the mall boasts plenty of restaurants including yakiniku places that are worth exploring.
They have a wonderful variety of fruits and veg, between the two main grocery stores. I am especially happy with their cheese selection and the fact that I found my favorite hot sauce chalula.

Maybe it is Covid economic effects, but this mall seems to be a little decayed (uhm too strong word...). Anyway not as good as it was few years ago. AND you only get free time parking if you got the mall card.

Bono Sagamiono Shopping Center is a convenient and well maintained mall near Sagami-Ono Station. it’s a great spot for everyday shopping. On the ground floor, Life Supermarket offers fresh produce, quality meats, and a great selection of daily essentials. Prices are reasonable, and the store is well organized. The bakery and deli sections are nice. It can get busy during peak hours, but overall, it’s a reliable place for grocery shopping.

Nice and big. Basically everything you need in one building. Don't expect anything you haven't seen in other Japanese cities in Kanto. But it's still a nice place with lot's of restaurants. There's a hub and many nice yakiniku places. Be sure to check them out and eat your share. They might not have an English menu but with a smartphone a translation won't be the problem of your night.

Bono is a nice shopping center with he first floor being a large supermarket and the second floor having smaller specialty shops. The Supermarket is a bit more expensive than most places in Japan, however, the food is also fresher than usual. There is also a large selection off wine at this location. The second floor consist of typical Japanese sweet shops and a few import stores. There is also a Baskin Robbins on the 2nd floor.

This complex was recently built adjoining the Odakyu Sagamiohno station. This makes it very convenient to get to from almost anywhere in the Tokyo - Yokohama Megalopolis. There is a large variety of restaurants at street level, on the second floor in the South tower and on the roof of the North tower. There is an excellent grocery and department store and many specialty shops. The Sports club is well appointed and very convenient.

I used the station many times on my trip to Japan. I took a romance car directly to downtown Tokyo, and I used the local train to explore locally. Both were very clean, affordable, and on time. The station was clean, and even though it was busy everyone was quiet and respectful. On the 8th floor, there are many restaurants to choose from. There are many parking garages, and we always found a spot the times that we drove here. Among the many department stores and cafes on the ground level, there is also a full size grocery store. Just a level or two above the grocery store was something like an enormous Dollar store- they had lots of affordable souvenirs, clothing, and toys. It was called "Hands." I hope the local people do not take this place for granted, I cannot tell you how much I wish I had a train station like this near my house. Unfortunately, the state of Michigan does not believe in public transport haha.

Hi , I hope you have a nice day. In the crowded places it's very nice to find some rest and silence with good food and coffee. In Hashimoto there are a lot of places for shopping and dining however when in rush it's easy to grab a quick bite in MeWe Hashimoto first floor. Paid Parking is available but on little walk.

Situated in Ario Hashimoto, this expansive shopping complex offers a diverse range of stores, services, casual dining options, and even a play area. It is an ideal destination for those looking to pass the time or indulge in extensive shopping as it caters to various needs. The mall also provides mobile services from Y mobile and other providers. Notably, Dr. Stretch is a new doctor's office that garners attention for its impressive offerings.
Great atmosphere. Almost everything is available

This is very wide place and a lot of food Most of all, price is acceptable

It's a nice mall. You can basically get anything you need there. It's a little pricey depending on the store, though. We went there for a new pair of glasses and some equipment/furniture for our new baby. It's cost well over 1000USD for these items. It's not a place to shop if you want to save but....it's a good spot for dates or items that are hard to find.
Tifa A — Google review
This Ario is too long (and big) compared to Ario Kitasuna. 1F & 2F are the shops and restaurants. From 3F kids parking other services.

Awesome place to kill time and do lots of shopping. You can get almost everything there. Y mobile and other providers are also available there. There is new Doctor it’s called Dr. Stretch that place seems awesome too. Eye clinic is on the second floor. Wheelchair accessible, pet shop is at gate number 5 if anyone is going with pet so there is play area for pets. Have a good time and like my comment if it helped.

Visiting from the USA must say that i am very impressed with this mall all the amenities of home and then some. If you are looking to visit Japan any time and going to be in this area no need to pack everything just buy when you get here. You will not be disappointed. With many other shopping malls within walking distance you will certainly find anything you need with prices comparable to home in the U.S.. Also many selections of dining options, plus a fully furnished grocery store your sure to not go hungry

Great for families with small children. Nice design (I was impressed the first time), luminous, clean, human size, diverse shops & restaurants (several cheap all-you-can-eat), events for kids. Uses renewable energy!

Best for old people! Slow speed escalator! Warm up space with water! Old fashion wearings!

It's Ito Yokado. A place where you can find a number of things that you want from which you are likely to leave with more than you need. Apparently also not a bad place to spend the day if your over 70 or so😉

Ito Yokado Kobuchi is a fantastic one-stop shop for all your children's school supplies, making it incredibly convenient for parents. While some items may be on the pricier side, the extensive selection ensures you can find what you need. The food area is particularly appealing, staying open until 11 PM, which is perfect for late-night cravings or quick meals. Plus, if you're a fan of fast food, you'll definitely enjoy the Burger King located within!
You will get all your kids school stuff at one place. But some of them are expensive. Sales persons are not much welcoming to foreigners.

Update: Ario Ito Yokado...same condition on Avocadoes.!! Update: please do not buy avocados here. The 'so-called' premium avocados for an "out of control" price are not in good condition (photo attached)...about 1/4 to 1/2 of the avocadoes were rotten. Do Better! Shopping place. Nothing special, nothing terrible. Good luck getting assistance.

If you're on the hunt for exquisite antique Japanese furniture, look no further than 時代家具・建具の店 古福庵. This expansive warehouse is a treasure trove filled with stunning kumiko pieces, beautifully restored sliding doors, and an array of pendant light fixtures that will captivate any design enthusiast. The selection is vast, featuring everything from affordable finds to high-end architectural gems.
Super interesting store with antiques from various eras. Not as expensive as I would have thought considering the quality.

Huge warehouse full of antique Japanese furniture and kumikos ~ a gorgeous selection to choose from 😍 Also an assortment of pendant light fixtures, huge sliding doors and other treasures. All the pieces have been restored and cleaned up ~ they are in beautiful condition. The prices are very high ~ is it worth paying the price? That’s for the buyer to decide.

Amazing selection of antique doors and cabinets and other architectural and design odds and ends. Some very affordable items and some higher end pieces also. It’s a big place with a lot of goodies for your eyeballs so be ready to spend a little time if you make the trip out here—it’s well worth it.

They told me they would buy back the step tansu I paid ¥400,000 a few years ago. My new apartment is too small for it, so I asked them to buy it back. They offered ¥30,000 if I bring it to their store. Unreal.

(Translated by Google) I go every week. It's natural that there are many different stores, but it's also attractive that there are events held every Saturday and Sunday. There are live artist shows, car exhibitions, fire engines and police car displays, so I think it's perfect for families. Events such as experience corners and live talks are held within the facility, and I think it's rare to find a shopping mall that puts so much effort into such events. There's a large parking lot, a large bicycle parking lot, and it's close to the station, so I think it's a spot that anyone can easily come to.

Parking fee payment machine: There's no place to temporarily place your purchases (food, etc.) when paying, so with both hands full, you have no choice but to leave them on the ground. It's unfriendly, or rather, it just shows a lack of imagination on the part of the management. The parking lot exit signs are also difficult to understand. ベジタベーナ is a direct sales store for agricultural products in Sagamihara, offering a variety of fresh produce from the city and other prefectures depending on the season. (Translated by Google) I went on a Saturday around 10am. There were quite a few customers, and there was also a fishmonger selling cars outside the store. There were plenty of vegetables available at this time of day, and the prices were cheap. Some of them are even more expensive than supermarkets. There seemed to be some side dishes, so we started arriving one after another starting around 10am. The parking lot is large, but there are many elderly people so parking is dangerous (lol) Inside the store, a cheerful old man was calling out to me. (Translated by Google) I went there on a Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of parking spaces so it wasn't a problem. I had a soft serve ice cream, and I thought it was great value for money! (Personally) Oh, please note that you buy a ticket at the register and then pick up the ice cream at the pick-up point. Even though it was the afternoon, there was a wide selection of vegetables to see! (They have vegetables from Sagamihara and all over the country.) I thought it was great that the cashiers were shouting "Welcome!" and it made me want to buy more. I want to go again. I forgot to take pictures of the inside of the store, but I'll post some of the things I bought. I liked the blueberries because they didn't have any unnecessary ingredients and had a natural sweetness. (Translated by Google) When vegetables are scarce, there are vegetables from other regions, but there are also giant lettuces and flowers that are so full of life that you end up buying too much. 💦 The gardening section is very helpful, as they sometimes refer to an agricultural dictionary to get solid advice when shopping. At the very least, it's a store I want to visit every season. Lots of people buy soft serve ice cream!

(Translated by Google) This is my first visit. There was a game machine at the entrance to see if you had enough vegetables. It took 30 seconds, and it looked like a pain, so I went inside the store without playing it, even though I was very interested. I'm sorry, but it's a bit disappointing compared to other local farm shops. Even though it says "locally produced for local consumption," there are many products that are not from Sagamihara or Kanagawa (meat and fish are unavoidable). That may be a good thing about rural areas, but not many people come back to buy. It means that there are many supermarkets and people are more satisfied than at agricultural cooperatives where the produce is directly delivered from the producers. It's a bit disappointing. The parking lot is huge. The facilities are nice.
