Such a pity that I discovered this place on my last day in Tokyo. Am really not a mall rat but i do like the way this place was made. While most shops were still closed when I explored this place on a Sunday morning, I am sure that Roppongi Hills not only offers shopping but culture as well. You would be able to fund a personal spot just to absorb how magnificent the city pf Tokyo is!

Roppongi is a great area. It’s probably where the people earning the most in Tokyo live, very high end apartments and a bit more space and less crowds. Mitsuoka mage brand new vintage cars, the red car is a Yaris remade, amazing craftsmanship and style. I want this car, it looks a bit like a jaguar. Great area and check out Teamlabs Borderless, incredible.

I visited the Mori Building for the Sou Fujimoto exhibition at the Mori Art Museum on the 53rd floor. It was incredible, and I highly recommend going before it closes on November 9, 2025. Attached are new projects on going and its description is at the bottom of each photo. You can google them. A visionary architect. Sou Fujimoto promotes community, connections via building architecture with essences of openness, amorphous and many many which are integrated with the nature.

Roppongi Hills is a well-designed complex that combines a shopping center on the lower floors, office spaces in the middle, and museums and observation deck at the top. Its thoughtful architecture and beautiful design make it a pleasant place to explore on foot. Located on the 52nd floor, the Mori Art Museum is definitely worth a visit. The current exhibition showcases the work and vision of Sou Fujimoto - highly recommended

Beautiful place to visit when the Christmas lights light up the streets. It’s a very busy place, but nice for a walk

It was such an awesome experience! Luckily, Doraemon was placed there as part of the summer festival in collaboration with Asahi TV. The whole place had a really fun and vibrant vibe, felt special to be there!

Relaxing sunset view at the top, very much more affordable compared to Tokyo tower and skytree if you are on budget, very convenient transportation by train, and make sure that you look for MT.FUJI!!!

Visited March 2024. It's a higher end shopping complex/business park. I came to visit the surrounding park to see their cherry blossom illuminations, but I was too early. Would consider coming back for the illumination and Starbucks reserve roastery, but was not really interested in the shopping complex itself.

The mall has beautiful architecture and design, with a nice park right next to it. There were also quite a few Doraemons around for photo opportunities.

These illuminations are so so beautiful✨ The staffs told us not to stop, but most people tried to take pictures. I thought that illumination without being gazed is nonsense, so what the staffs required is weird. If you use a wide angle, you can take nice photos. However, there are too many people, so other people would appear in the photo, which is not good.

It is a mid-to-high-end shopping mall. You may go through overpass to Hinokicho park for a rest and photo. There are some restaurants with terrace where you can enjoy the atmosphere of scene and food. You better make reservation in advance if you want lunch or dining there. Many media have reported this is a cherry blossom attraction.

Absolutely worth the extra ticket! The Sky Deck gives a breathtaking open-air view of Tokyo — you can feel the breeze and see the city lights. It’s especially beautiful around sunset or at night when the skyline glows. The staff are friendly and help keep the experience smooth and safe. You can see landmarks like Roppongi Hills, Rainbow Bridge, and even Mount Fuji on a clear day. It’s peaceful, romantic, and unforgettable — definitely one of the best viewpoints in Tokyo.

My wife booked us in for a pickleball game UNDER TOKYO TOWER! I didn’t know they did this… it was a great experience! On the roof-top of the building directly beneath the tower. There were two courts and an attendant managing thins. She provided our rackets and balls + took some photos at then end. We had the kids with us so they were helping referee our games. There were some photo spots on the room and vending machines, so they kept busy for the hour… There was also a bar / restaurant up on the roof but unfortunetly it was not open. Would have been nice to be able to head there for a biru after the match! Next time…. All in all it was a great experience, staff were helpful and it was a very cool day seeing a unique side of a historic landmark of the city. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻

We were here last night and the experience was exceptional, a once in a lifetime must see wonder. As Japan, in general bring in the ring of fire and Tokyo in particular this structural icon of Tokyo with stood earthquakes. The top deck experience for me spiced up the experience. As it gave a different perspective being 252 meters above, with its cool IG picturesque effect.

Absolutely stunning views of Tokyo, especially at sunset! We paid for the upper floor, and it's well worth the extra cost and should be booked in advance. The main floor is a little crowded, and features a cramped shop and various brand-related events. This whole area becomes pitch black at night, with glass or glow-in-the-dark floor areas, and is overall a great way to experience the area. However, if you have a time-slot for the additional floor you can line up at another elevator (note your time STARTS at the time listed, not "must arrive by" as the email says!) to go higher. This includes a brief promotional video, a professional photo (printed on a small promotional leaflet as you leave), a small drink, but most importantly a mirror-filled observation deck. From this deck you can see miles and miles in all directions, with the city's drastic appearance change during sunset providing a unique perspective. Whilst it can be quite crowded, people typically move on after taking their selfies so you can stare in peace. It's even possible to see mt fuji sometimes! Upon exiting there's a strange small mall at the base, selling various mementos and snacks, with the exit hidden away and requiring careful sign following.

Amazing view! I visited on a Saturday night after dinner, walking from Roppongi Station and taking photos of the tower from several different angles. It’s beautifully lit up at night, and if there’s fog, it adds an extra layer of magic for those chasing the perfect shot. There was no queue late at night for the observation deck—perhaps because of the rain or simply the late hour. Around the area, you’ll find a few food trucks, a small Family Mart, and souvenir shops on the second floor. Take a stroll before buying anything, as there are plenty of interesting items to choose from. For photos, make sure to walk around the tower—each angle offers a unique perspective. Personally, I think nighttime is the best time to visit for stunning shots.

The sprawling flagship store in Shinjuku is also cordially known as a fashion museum, thanks to its carefully curated and extensive list of luxury brands, high-fashion and everyday wear, and stylish displays. . They boast one of the largest cosmetic floors, gourmet and dining halls, and even a rooftop garden.

There is a rooftop garden on top of the Isetan main building. Loaded with beautiful flowers and grass land, as well as a Japanese temple! Good place if you want to feel the sun and the outdoor breeze after a long day of shopping.

Isetan Shinjuku is a Mecca for high end stores and in your face displays . Rare brands we don’t get to see everywhere are all available. Baccarat crystal, Christofle cutlery, Wedgwood crockery , the usual Gucci/Armani/Lv/Hermes. All in one store. Minor complaint: sometimes we need a place to sit so a few chairs for customers would t be so out of place . But this seems to be a Japan wide issue. Great store great ambiance though

Isetan is amazing, I spent most of the time walking around the food hall. The are so many amazing foods and drinks available. I just love it here and can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely brilliant place to get a mini bento box and food the isetan foodhall highly recommend to go check it out the variety of food is amazing too much too try too little quota hahahah I also strongly recommend the En Tea brand very tasty green tea with nice modern version combination! I particularly love the cold water shaken green tea ! Ideal as a gift set for friends and family

It’s a must go place for figurine bargain hunters. Everyone goes to Akihabara for figurines but missed out on this superb place. Besides figurines and gashspons there are also other souvenirs that you can get here. P.s: I visit this place on my occasions. You won’t miss it. Just a distance from the last station of the Tozai line. Along the way there are many eateries too.

For us not looking for any particular anime toys or figures, first visit here & this place offers a different nostalgic kind of vibe. More toys seen on the upper storey, and less crowd similar to shopping street in other cities. Unlikely for us to revisit due to interest and it is out of the way

Awesome hidden gem (not so hidden anymore I guess) to buy anime, otaku merchandise as well as the primary reason why I visited. WATCHES. Whether used or brand new the various shops here have many to offer from different popular brands like Rolex, Omega, Grand Seiko, JLC, Patek Philippe and many others. Women's luxury bags are also being offered. Just roam around and compare prices and inventory and most likely you could walk away with your dream watch tax free (if you are a foreigner).

Nakano Broadway is a must-visit spot for anime, manga, and collectible fans! There are tons of unique shops packed with figures, vintage items, and souvenirs. The atmosphere is lively but not too crowded, and it’s easy to spend hours exploring each floor.

A great arcade to wander up and down even if you are not looking for anything in particular. Right outside the station, and plenty of food choices too. All the more colourful here with the koinoburi decorating your way.

Chill touristy area. Lots of good food and stores. Sometimes there are local story tellers in the area. Had some great matcha and snacks here while waiting for my stamp. You can explore the whole area in an hour

A famous shopping street that is known for its showa era vibe giving us a glimpse of the old Tokyo. The stairs leading to the shopping street is also a famous spot for watching the sunset which is called Yuyake Dandan. The street is lined with food stalls, cafes and souvenir shops. You will also see few cat themed decors. A great place to drop by when in the area.

Nice short shopping street. Wouldn't come out of my way to see it as it's quite small and nothing super unique compared to other ones. Decent amount of tourists. Street and shops are of 'old style', but not that much more interesting than other shopping streets.

This was such a homey little part of town. We got here a bit too early for many of the shops to open - try 10/11am instead. The cutest bakery was open and we tried 3 items - fruit & cream cheese milkbun, raisin & cream cheese bun and a red bean filled bun. All excellent.

Great place to spend the day, especially at the Joypolis! Plenty of food options, shopping, and entertainment. If you need to cool off from all the Sega craziness, head to the beach!!!

A smaller shopping center, with not too many shops, but is located at a nice place in odaiba. There are other nearby malls too. It does however contain a very cool old-school style shopping street, that gives a feel of the old times.

Great place with excellent locals to get some retro souvenirs and have a good time with family and friends. It also has locals to get anime figures at a great price. You can find a good food area in the place.

Great spot for food and some gaming. Restaurants, shops snd there is a great Retro arcade we really enjoyed, a hunted house, Legoland, wax works and a large indoor theme park/ arcade. We had other things also planned and wish we had more time, you can easily spend all day here and it rights by the beach/water front with great views. Fuji centre and observation deck are also right next door, though it was closed when we visited.

Lovely place for family outing... lot of play area for all age group kids, one of biggest daiso and nishimatsuyu stores. And ofcourse the beach is lovely

Togoshi Ginza is a charming local shopping street that’s perfect if you’re looking to escape the busy crowds of central Tokyo. It’s super accessible too—just a short walk from Togoshi Ginza Station or Togoshi Station. Whether you’re visiting solo, with family, or a partner, this place is definitely worth a few hours.

Busy area.. of course it's what it is, a tourist heavy area. Plenty of shops, high-end and low-end, and plenty of places to dine. Came to shop during daytime, and returned for the night lights and dinner.

Came here for the omakase which i had heard so much about. Some dishes and combinations were absolutely amazing, but the sushi (main dish), was just.. okay. The fish was fresh and of good quality but for the amount spent (around 200USD for the Bizen course) I expected to be blown away by the taste/freshness as I’ve been in other omakase restaurants. The staff were nice and attentive and explained every dish, however, I had the misfortune to be seaten in the same room as a group of loud & drunk businessmen who made it almost impossible to hear my friend whom I was dining with.

As expected, a medley of sushi and sashimi delight for about ¥25,000.00 ... exquisite service, crockery and presentation. We didn't gwt to sit bybthe bar, however a museum of the founder above ... Happy days ...

I had a Japanese book this restaurant a month in advance. The place is in Ginza, and the staff were very attentive — they took my coat and hung it up for me. The chef was friendly and served the omakase one piece at a time. I was impressed by many things, from the uni, otoro, and ebi, all fresh and beautifully presented. The experience was simple yet profound in both flavor and ingredients. The course I had was around 16,000 yen, which I think is very worth it for the experience. Notably, this is the same restaurant where former President Obama and former Prime Minister Abe have dined. Truly a renowned spot with accessible pricing.

Been intending to try their main Ginza restaurant for years, but never got round to getting a reservation. So we were very surprised when we walked in and managed to get two counter seats. We've been to their branches elsewhere but we enjoyed this one just that little bit more than the rest. The sushi served here is classical, with focus on the freshness of the ingredients and the skill of the chef in assembling it. My wife thought that our set of 16 pieces of sushi and a maki was too much, but each piece was so good that we were at the end of the course without realising how many we had consumed. I don't usually like aburi but the aburi tuna cheek sushi was delectable. I especially enjoyed the sardine, scallop and uni sushi. This was truly worth the wait, and the multiple attempts to secure a reservation. And all the more enjoyable and memorable because we just happened to walk in.

Very disappointed and sad about the experience. I was here in 2016 and had such an amazing meal so I made a point to bring my fiancé here during our engagement trip. And the quality of food and chef’s craft were so bad that I was embarrassed that I took him there. Uni - it had the bad uni taste. For restaurants at this caliber, I was surprised that they served it. And if you are a uni lover, it’s not hard to tell the bad taste. Use of wasabi - chef gave generous portions on the nigiri but very inconsistent from piece to piece. It is not what one should expect from a top end omakase experience. Scallop, squid, shrimp - last time I was here, I was impressed by the creaminess of these but this time they were rubbery. Not good. (Also mentioned by a recent review) Service - we felt very rushed and did not experience the Japanese hospitality. Miso soup came in the middle of the course which usually comes towards the end. We went to Sushi Morinari the next day and the quality there completely outshined Kyubey even though Kyubey is a long time ginza stable. Given this experience, we will not be back and have to discourage friends from going.

Best sushi I’ve had in Japan. Had the Kyubey omakase course, selection was well paced, sushi chef was attentive and asked for dietary requirements before serving us. Top notch service . A must visit when in Ginza.

Lots of upscale stores. Good food options in basement. The star of the show goes to the free museum inside. It's an EXCELLENT way to spend time and enjoy a neat experience right near Toyko station.

The Kitte building itself is architecturally speaking quite interesting with it's triangular shape, glass roof and tiled exterior in "Tokyo light beige". In addition, the former postmaster's office on the 4th floor, which is open to the public, is quite a unique touch. One cannot only sense the atmosphere of past times - and even write some letters & postcards at reserved tables - but the view to the historic Tokyo Station building is simply stunning. Great picture taking spot and really gives you a sense of places & periods "mashing" together. So, definitely recommended to visit the 4th floor for sightseeing, but the rest of the shops are not worth visiting IMHO: mostly heavily overpriced tourist stuff and chain restaurants. There are many, many better shopping options in Tokyo.

I went to KITTE Marunouchi near Tokyo Station and really enjoyed the visit. The place has a nice mix of shops and restaurants, and it feels modern but still relaxing to walk around. I especially liked the rooftop garden – the view of Tokyo Station’s red brick building was so beautiful and peaceful.It’s a great spot if you want to shop a little, grab something to eat, or just take a break with a nice view. I had a really good time there and would definitely recommend it.

Go to the rooftop terrace for amazing views of Tokyo Station. It is free. Level 6. If you are there during the day also pop into the free museum on level 3. You will not regret it.

Pretty decent place to shop. They had clothes, makeup, and accessory shops. It was a walkable distance from the Shibuya station, so that saved me time. It was a bit crowded, though.

This shopping center in Shibuya is full of local brands. It is right next to the Shibuya station, very easy to access from any part of the city. Most of the stores are for apparel, shoes, cosmetics and accessories, mostly selling women's goods. The stores have variety of themes like gothic, anime, summer vibes and few other types. There are 9 floors to explore. Each floor has about 10-15 shops, so they are not too large. It is mostly clean and organized. Prices are relatively cheaper compared to other big malls in Tokyo. When we were there, they had summer sale going on. Participating had discounts between 20%-80%. The staff in the shops are friendly, help with questions and fitting rooms. We spent close 40 minutes here, didn't find anything worth purchasing.

The staff are generally friendly, better than the attitude of other touristy places in Tokyo. The help I received from Mr. Zhang at the Tax-Free counter elevated my whole experience. While I was waiting in line for my tax refund, I realized that I had lost my purse. I explained my situation to Mr. Zhang, and although it was not part of his job duties, he went out of his way to assist me. He kindly shared his experiences and offered several suggestions. He called the security officer and helped me write an inquiry in Japanese so I could report the incident at a nearby police station—he even looked up the address for me. Mr. Zhang showed an exceptional level of empathy and kindness. On top of that, he efficiently helped me complete my tax refund process.

Love this mall. Young, trendy fashion. Sizes are usually standard japanese fit. Lots of levels and stores. Can tell this is where all the it girls shop. Fun vibes

Place to shop for fashions ! especially women's fashion, you can also find 地雷系(jirai-kei) fashions as well. You can find shoes and boots that boost height by 5-10cm on b1, it's a really nice store! The restaurant is at the upper floor, there are also 1 unisex fashion on the upper floor that sells a bit vkei-ish vibe.

This is the posh area home to luxury brands and boutiques. Besides this high end mall, don’t forget to explore the lanes off the main road. Stylish shops are strewn everywhere. Perfect place to learn about Japanese sense of fashion and aesthetics

Felt completely underdressed, but I had a mission - find a bathroom. And wow, what a bathroom. Spotless, futuristic, and probably cleaner than my apartment. The rest of the mall? Gorgeous. It’s like walking through a luxury spaceship designed by someone who thinks you can afford Dior. Come for the fashion, stay for the facilities.

Admire the amazing architecture by Tadao Ando while you shop your favorite brands. This places is beautiful and comfortable to enjoy. This is a must in Tokyo

Love this place. Posh but cozy. My family always finds time to visit whenever we're in Tokyo. High end and eclectic brands have great curated presence here. The mall is laid out uniquely with a continuous ramp that takes one all the way up to the restaurant level. There is a great children's store with nice small playground for young children on basement level. The restaurants above are great mix. Our fave is Kageyamarou Chinese Restaurant though. Everything is well made and the price is still quite reasonable, especially considering its location.

A cute little district full of retro-hip clothing and fashion stores. On the main throughfare is full of designer and luxury boutiques. The night Christmas lights are beautiful.

A worthy visit after a busy tour around “East Garden”🌸 and “Economic Center Marunouchi”🌃 I have had “Yukhoe” n “Beef bowl” in a quiet restaurant inside Hibiya Shopping Mall. Unfortunately the 6th Floor Roof Garden Cafe☕️ was closed to public on this afternoon, coz there’re pack of people having buffet party in there.

This is a shopping mall along with office space. There is EY office and many other offices. The building is very new and modern. There are lot of restaurants scattered in floors and movies in 6th floor. There is also a garden terrace on 6th floor where the view is very good and you can sit and relax for some time. Just in front of midtown Hibiya building there will be various events held depending on the season.

Interesting shops, great multi screen cinema, fabulous restaurants, modern cafés, and magnificent terrace with a view (highly recommended)… Besides it’s become another sacred place for Godzilla fans, everyone can enjoy loads of things in this, rather new and successful, commercial and entertainment complex. One small personal drawback is that, except the fixed cinema admission and the free garden terrace, everything else is on a classy, or simply expensive side. Commoner comrades, if you are, let’s eat and buy outside then/before going inside and fun!

Typical Tokyo mall but I'm the higher end with the stores. 5 floors. 2 basement floors. And a roof terrace that can't be skipped if you're in the area. The roof access is completely free. ♿👍 many elevators located in midtown that are large enough for a wheelchair

Watched a movie. There are two locations for the cinema theaters and if you come giri-giri you might end up late of you bought the ticket from one side and the movie happens to be on the other. Or you could end up with no tickets because it’s sold out and you inly found out when you were buying because you thought to watch on a whim. Ordering food would also take a bit of time because the lines are quite long. It’s a busy cinema. Now about the layout of the whole mall: it can actually get confusing.

One-stop best souvenir shopping center right in the Tokyo station. In Gransta, you are able to discover the newest and hottest sweet and savory snacks for your family, friends and colleagues. The souvenirs gathered here have most fancy and presentable packaging always make long queue to purchase, and for the hottest shop, bestseller snacks often sold out in the afternoon. Therefore, if you are looking for those, you better go before noon.

Tokyo Station is one of the busiest and oldest stations in Japan. Even local people use the signboards to find their way around. It’s a great place for tourists to visit, with many restaurants offering everything from traditional Japanese food to international dishes. I really love how beautifully the Japanese package their gifts—it’s better than I expected. Visiting Tokyo again brings back such good memories. 😊

A place to enjoy the stores and restaurants at the station. You can use them in between changing trains and waiting for the Shinkansen. Restaurants are generally more expensive. Restaurants tend to be quite crowded and require queues. If you are not used to it, it is hard to know where things are and it is easy to get lost. The stores are useful for souvenirs and gifts. The place is lively and fun to visit.

A nice small mall with many food vendors inside the Tokyo station - bakeries, hot cooked food, coffee shops, etc. It's a great place to grab something to eat in between train rides or just to hang out.

We visited Keiyo street everyday for 3 days during our 5 day stay in Tokyo. The tantan vegan restaurant is in the Keiyo street. The street is full of eat outs and is super busy during dinner times. We captured many time lapse videos here to show the number of people crossing this busy station.

A perfect urban oasis! The rooftop garden atop Tokyu Plaza is a peaceful, green escape in the heart of Harajuku. There’s a relaxed atmosphere with leafy terraces, seating around trees, and a cozy Starbucks and Bills café where you can bring your order up and enjoy city views in comfort. It’s right above the station, making it an ideal spot to pause between shopping adventures.

Beautifully designed entrance with cool geometric mirrors surrounding you. It’s so grand and futuristic. The stores and boutiques inside are also very fun to browse and explore. Make-up, clothing, skincare and more.

Trendy new location with a sky garden at the top floor. A mall that focuses in creativity and nature. Couple restaurants are available. Most floors have art exhibitions. Very imerseive art decor.

Amazing place, but the interior mall area is a bit crammed. The mirrored entrance is a landmark on its own right.

Beautiful. The shopping centres are beautifully crafted with mirror tiling, and staff are very friendly. Great options for shopping too. All a little on the pricey side but I believe it is worth the money spent!

Great place to shop for luxury item especially Seiko and Grand Seiko. I did feel somehow that I was not properly dressed and was a bit tacky, so the staff were not really greeting me even if I am looking around. On the 2nd floor during my day of my visit fortunately they have a watchmaker exhibiting how to assemble a GS movement. Overall, a pleasurable experience and I am sure customer service is top notch if you are in the market for their pieces.

Great experience, exactly what I’d expect when buying a Grand Seiko from the flagship boutique in Ginza. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, watches were well-presented, and I was made to feel like a valued customer. Will certainly return one day when it’s time for my next GS beauty.

I came here because of the Apocalypse hotel anime, it was definitely beautiful in person and the inside is worth checking out It's a very expensive place inside, it's not actually a hotel but a watch store but everyone was super kind and even though I was dressed in very athletic clothing because I came in August everyone treated me very nicely You feel like the atmosphere is super rich like you wouldn't be welcomed but they were very welcoming I just wanted to say hi to Ponko and yachiyo

Just bought a Grand Seiko SBGA211at Wako Ginza yesterday. I went in thinking Lake Suwa or one of the green bamboo/grass heritage collection, but I knew this was it when the light starting bouncing off the dial and the sweeping blue hand. Fukuzawaさん was super patient while I jumped between trying on various models. *Extremely* knowledgeable about the brand - she provided background and context on every watch I looked at. I think buying a GS here at the birthplace of SEIKO is the right call for an aspirational purchase like this, especially since they take you up to the “owners lounge” to complete the purchase; adds a real sense of occasion

We had the pleasure of getting shown around the store and trying on various models with Mrs. Fukazawa. She was very knowledgeable about multiple brands and treated us in a nice and professional way. Coming in with a stroller was not frowned upon in the slightest either. Sadly, we had to leave early unexpectedly, but I will definitely purchase a watch there, once I am back in Japan again.

Amazing service by Mr. Toshiki Kawai! We are a couple visiting form Canada and was looking for a Seiko/ Grand Seiko watch. We can see Mr. Toshiki Kawai is very passionate about watches! He is very knowledgeable, very attentive and patient. He understood what we were looking for and showed us watches not on display. His service was one of the best service I have received in Tokyo so far. His English is very good, and he explained all the complications of each watch to us in English. When we come back to buy another watch, we will definitely ask for him again!

Good book stores. Many japanese book available. If you are interested in japanese culture if you will find many book there. English books are very less though. all famous anime manga are available in the store.

While I have been visiting here for years mainly for cosmetics, it’s a pity they will be closing this January (2023). It seems Tokyu will be reopening as a new complex facility perhaps with residential areas too is exciting (think of Ginza six and other recent transformations Tokyu has been working on). I think I’ll try to visit at least one more time before they permanently close (final sale and to check where my favorite staffs will be transferred to). Most of the brand shops will be shifted to or combined with the shops in Hikarie.

This is a great high end department store with a variety of both men and women's apparel, shoes, handbag (including some Japanese designers with Italian leather!), coats, formal wear, a great bakery, a gourmet store, and cosmetics. Amazing selection and typical high end prices. Be sure to visit the tax return (rebate) on floor B1 if you live abroad. Bring your passport to get a refund on the sales tax you've paid. We needed formal shoes, a tie and a handbag and found an incredible selection of each. Remember that shoe sizes are different (smaller). Sales staff is very courteous, yet their English is limited. Highly recommended for urgent needs of high end products, or some unique (and expensive) gifts.

Wow, this place is big, like.. really big. It has everything from pets to hardware to clothes to pastry stores. I even found 2 art stores while walking through it. If you are just out for a walk, or want a good place to look around I can highly recommend this. If you need anything, chances are you can find some of it here.

Arguably one of the best business tower building in Tokyo. It is one of the tallest skyscraper complex built by Mori Building and grand opened in 2016. The surrounding area is also developed to create the great environment for this building. Truly beautiful architecture with a lot of walkable pathways. I love visiting here every now and then.

I heard this building is the 3rd tallest building in Tokyo. Luxury shops, hotel and residences are in the building. Rich people might buy residences due to location and view. Unfortunately view may be get worse or just see neighbor towers soon due to many new towers are on construction around this building. May I can give you a tip for real investment in Tokyo? Please pay for location not for view. You can get many great views in Tokyo if you pay some money for sky rounds bars or cafes.

One of the new landmark in Toranomon area. I like the mascot character "Toranomon" which looks like a super popular Japanese anime, Draemon. You will find the Tranomon at the first floor. Good spot to take a pictures It is a mixed building, office, shops, restaurant, hotels and residential area. You will find a good restaurant and bars here, but the lunch time is very busy.

We stayed at the Hyatt Andaz. Hotel looked great and the staff was friendly. I was surprised that a modern hotel like this would ask you to cover up your tattoos. I know it's s thing in Japan, but I've been to older, smaller hotels/ryokans and never had this problem. With the Olympics coming and tattoos being a world wide commonality, I think they need to change their policy.

Tokyo. A lunch break on the rooftop garden of the historic department store, the first in Japan stretching back 350 years, was an enjoyable experience. The packed lunch from the basement food hall was great except for the cold grilled fish. Spacious and airy with cherry blossoms in bloom, the garden lunch was the happy ending of a visit to the famous store.

We spent couple of hours here. The basement food shops were wonderful. The floor luxury items - like Hermes, and cosmetic, which the wife bought quite a few, much to my dismay when i check on my credit card... We were surprise to see a daycare place near the tax center when we took our receipts for tax free works. The top floor was an open garden with Bonsais and a food place (it was being work on for an event so we couldn't dine there), and there was a shrine up there.) Remember to rub the lion's paws, at the entrance, for good luck!

Such a stunning store to browse - I could've spent all day browsing the store. The basement floor has a wide selection of meals and food / snacks great for takeaway and breakfast. We shopped here a few times and even managed to get some end of day specials on the more pricey meals. Well worth a visit if you're in this area or just want to see a great department store

Nohombashi Mitsukoshi means high-end fashion. Here's where Etro, Jimmy Choo, Prada, LVMH, Tiffany, and Hermés glow. With the dollar so devalued (from a year ago), there are no more bargains. Even in these stores prices have increased. But the sales aren't bad, if they even have it. Curently, the Gengen Sato "Celestial Maiden" [Magokoro] statue in the center of the department store is exceptional in its beauty, craftsmanship, and scale! It towers over shopping to amaze; maybe even to distract. It fits in this opulent department store like a fine-cut diamond.

Such a beautiful shopping mall. It also has a beautiful area for art and music. I randomly walked in on a Sunday and found a magnificent organ player performing for the mall guests.

Visited March 2024. A flagship department store located in Chuo ward. Like moat other malls in Tokyo, there are many floors with shops and restaurants, as well as a rooftop garden. This store is notable for its central hall, which is designed floor to ceiling with marble.

I visited this shop on my short holiday in Japan not long ago and it was an amazing experience. I stayed at Dai-ichi hotel nearby so it was only a short 15 minute walk. I never knew it would take about a month for government's approval paperwork for export on antique & authentic swords so I decided to buy a replica tanto for my dad instead. Owners were very polite, friendly and speak good English. Shop is located within a very nice part of the city, I would strongly recommend people paying a visit. Would definitely come back for a second round on my next visit and hopefully I can secure myself a piece of history.

Fantastic shop and very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful owners. I was in Tokyo on business and stopped by to see if there were any antique katana for sale. I ended up purchasing a beautiful wakizashi made around 1860. The owner answered all of my questions (in English!) and ended up packaging and shipping the sword for me back to the USA. It arrived only about 2 months later, perfectly packaged. This was extremely fast considering Japanese law requires the government to approve of the sword leaving Japan, and then U.S. customs has their own process. Reviewers leaving “1 star” for long lead times are misinformed. Also, reviewers complaining about prices also are uninformed - these are antique, authentic artifacts that are museum worthy. Go here if you are looking for a one of a kind piece of art, go to Tokyu Hands if you are looking for a souvenir. I am so honored to have this artifact in my home and plan to pass it down for generations. I would recommend this business to anyone and plan to visit again next time I’m in Tokyo.

This shop provides impeccable kind understanding service. I just acquired an item, and they provided the most considerate and graceful paitence for me to make a selection. The store interior is very well decorated with lovely displays in the store. The staff on hand were so caring, gentle, kind and highly knowledgeable. A simply lovely experience of gracious Japanese customer service. Now in regard of the negative posters! These business owners are a retailer - not the customs office or the shipping service company. It would be deemed that anyone who decides to buy - As the store does actually give advice for a purchase and it looks like they may start the shipping process for the customer - But this shop is not a customs office or Japanese duty or government manageing export regulations. They don,t create the governments import export bylaws. Please, this place deserves respect - any one who decides to buy should be willing to "do some math" - "do the home work"

I went here at the end of May while on vacation in Tokyo to purchase a replica katana as a gift. A mix bag of high quality/natural food and full-on industrial food full of chemicals, so it's inconvenient to looks for the good stuff among the bad stuff. Everything is overpriced as expected for the area. An example: pasture raised Australian beef is exactly twice as expensive as the one you will find in any Bio c'Bon organic chain shop which in itself is about twice as expensive as local supermarkets around Tokyo. The quality will be higher in Bio c'Bon but lower in regular supermarkets. Parking is free for 60 minutes if you buy more than 2000yen. But those 60 minutes tickets are NOT cumulative.

American staying for 10 days nearby, we hit this place up to get some groceries and a little bit of familiar food and the staff and selection were amazing and the clientele, people who are experts, took us under their wing and helped us find what we’re looking for and pick the best things. It was almost like a little store community. And staff was very forgiving of the bumbling Americans who didn’t have a clue about what they were doing for checking out. They have a small dining places which have 3-4 restaurants on second floor, and more than 10 restaurants and izakaya on third floor which you could hang out and enjoy with colleagues and friends. As hubby and I walked the Mall, en route to the Shinbashi Station, we noticed that we were the only 2 people walking in our direction while throngs of people were on their way to work (we assume) coming toward us. Weird feeling! The Mall, a maze of halls in every direction, is filled with an array of first class boutiques and restaurants. In fact, we had dinner in one of the restaurants there one night and found that it was an interesting environment filled with locals. Had one of our best meals there for a surprisingly low price. Contrary to what we hear, meals are not expensive - unless you order beef. There is more life in the "Underground" than there is outside unless you visit the Ginza District.
