Westport Club is a popular place in Port Macquarie for people to relax, indulge with good food and drink, and have a social encounter. The club features many dining options like Hastings Coffee Co. and Bakery as well as Aqua Restaurant and Jimmy’s Bar and Lounge. It also has a private function venue, the Westport Event Center, that can be used for events ranging from small business meetings to full scale concerts.
First time visitors to the Club and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly and helpful staff. Cold beer, great location and also a pet friendly section outside on the lawn by the Cafe. The upstairs lounge area is a credit to the venue, with multiple types of seating and table arrangements and stunning views of the harbour. We will definitely be back again soon.

Every time I go to Port Macquarie I have to eat here. Food is always great. Stuff are friendly. And after dinner going up stairs To have a drink is amazing.

Absolutely beautiful views, clean and great ambience. The food is very good, desert is amazing. Would have given 5 stars, but, we were in a group of five, the coffees ( ordered at the same time as we we ordered our meal) came intermittently. Some were given their drinks before their meal, others during and one came just as we were finishing our meals. It would have been great to get our coffee before our meal. And a heads up to those who don't like very strong coffee, get a half strength. The staff are all lovely, and we enjoy coming here, it's one of the best places to hang out with friends.

A lovely club, very welcoming from the front attendant to wait staff, all were very helpful. Very friendly and respectful toward our disabled son. A great view, delicious meals and very nicely presented. We had a really nice night. Thank You, The Westport Club!

Had wonderful cocktails at Jimmy's Bar.. Tom and Lily were exceptional and Lily's Pimms was a winner.. Had lovely dinner at Aqua.. Shout out to Sam.. Beautiful views, great location and entertained by a local called Geoff who got on the piano, later that evening in Jimmy’s Bar. if he is not an employee at the club.. give that man a job! He certainly was the highlight of the night

Fantastic service - staff very friendly and helpful! We went on the last minute for dinner on a Saturday night and they warmly welcomed us in. The food was excellent... happy to recommend and will definitely come back! Thank You!

Service was excellent as soon as we walked through the front door. Care was given to my friend who almost fell over when she lost her balance. A chair and a glass of water were offered. The table in restaurant was overlooking the river and the food was excellent. Portions were large. I ordered the roast of the day as a main meal. I would have preferred more vegetables (less peas) than pork on the upgrade from petite to main. But it was totally delicious.

Great food. Fun Tuesday trivia with questions very fair. Take a torch to read if you don't get a front table. Beautiful view over the river at night.

Beautiful food with a lovely atmosphere. The scallop entree looked like a work of art & tasted great and the quail was probably the best I have tried. For mains the tooth fish was a stand out and the mango cheese cake sweet being gluten free was also amazing.

They’re not enough start to rate this place. It’s sophistication, relaxation and perfection all rolled into one. From the moment you step in and are greeted by Tom your experience begins. It’s a hour try through food, wind and stories. We were blessed to have a quiet day where w could be given wonderful amount of attention, but I am sure that even on the busiest days you would be made to feel special by Tom. That’s just who he is. He knows his job and he makes your visit exceptional. The food surpassed every expectation and the win is everything and more Tom informed us it would be. If only I lived here and could visit all the time. I was grateful that I was able to have this experience with my cousins and look forward to bigger and better things next time I visit.
Trish A — Google review
The food was excellent and the service staff were professional and very friendly. However, I would like to point out a safety concern. The restaurant’s main entrance is a glass sliding door. When we arrived, a staff member was at the entrance and the door was open, but when we left after dinner, the door had been closed. Because the glass is very clear and has no markings, it was difficult to see at night, and unfortunately my husband bumped his head on it. For the safety of other diners, I hope the restaurant can consider adding visible markings or making some improvements to the door.

Prepare for a treat! This was an unexpected but most welcome posh dining experience 3 course fixed price menu with plenty of choices for each course and a wonderful wine menu (+cocktails etc) The menu is interesting and everything we ate was delicious. Fresh king prawn, scallops, hints of umami yuzu and wasabi, texture and flavour balance and beautiful presentation Recommend if you appreciate fine dining and have the time to savour a long meal. Ideal within walking distance of Mantra Observatory hotel and others near Town Beach Reservations recommended and if you have dietary restrictions suggest speaking to the chef in advance

The Stunned Mullet Port Macquarie. Thursday 21st August 2025. 1 hatted A stunning restaurant in Port Macquarie. The food is sensational the service professional & friendly. If you’re in Port Macquarie THESTUNNEDMULLET is a must Cocktail - soft creamy delicious bit of a punch. Pineapple juice is just a perfect hint. Yummy. Wow now the Chambord is a super premium black raspberry liqueur is coming out. Delicious sweet (not over) fruity yummy. Wine list by the glass is amazing. I’ll have to come back to try more. Tonight just white. 2021 Lieu Dit Melon d Bourgogne grape. * So much depth of flavour again not over powering. Citrus herbal notes well balanced. 2019 Dm. Christophe- Montee de Tonnerre 1 er Cru Chardonnay. * Nose of minor yeast & light citrus. Mouth is very round with slight hint of nuttiness. Rich and long lasting. Wow just wow. 2014 Leeuwin Estate - Art Series * Nose light nutty yeast. Oh my goodness the taste. Light nutty peach oak on the back. Wow this is so good. Creamy with just hint of oak. Stunning wine lots years left. 2018 Tokaji - Royal Tokaji 5 Puttonyos Assi - PRODUCE OF HUNGARY * Nose of rasin with sweetness. Wow apricot sultanas giant fruit amazing depth beautiful drink. Scallops - seared scallops, sweet cabbage, roasted garlic aioli, coral, "oreo" cookie * Beautifully cooked scallops still glistening so professional. The sauce despite the heavy look it’s light balanced. Accompanies the scallops brilliantly. Then all the other accompaniments add robust yet subtle flavours. Delicious plate of food. Fish - glacier 51 toothfish, shítake suimono, savoy cabbage, black rice wafer, daikon, enoki crisp * Tooth fish has become one of my favourite foods. This is heaven. Light buttery wonderful deliciousness. Cabbage almost citrus like - Daikon adds vinegar characteristics * Together as chef wants it’s a perfect balance just perfect humming flavour. Wow. Subtle sweetness from everything near the ends gives another amazing dimension just singing. Desert - passionfruit, white chocolate, ganache and caramelized pistachio our salty crème caramel, yuzu, rum * Pistachio cream is just amazing. The Ganache is light even fluffy. Passion fruit is subtle in the back not overwhelming. This is a delicious way to finish. Light dish of wonderful flavours all balanced. 10 minutes and lightly flavoured passion fruit comes back hints of nuttiness. Now that’s good food.

What a gem! We were warmly welcomed and then thoroughly impressed from starter to dessert 😍 The chef’s work is divine, the service is exquisite and the ambience is delightful! 10/10 on everything! Highly recommend when in Port Maquarie! 🤗 (The photos don’t do the food justice - you had to be there) 💯

Zebu Bar & Restaurant is a modern Australian waterfront establishment that offers a diverse experience. It features a brekkie cafe, a vibrant bar with DJs and cocktails, and an ideal location for dolphin and people watching on the Town Green overlooking the river. The restaurant provides families with a relaxing dining experience by the Hastings River while offering friends a contemporary and lively atmosphere at Zebu Bar & Grill.
We had our New Year's Eve dinner here and had a lovely time. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the place looked amazing with very comfortable chairs. This was our first time here, and it definitely won't be the last.

Limited menu, very fancy so not for your typical person. Also not for those who want a proper feed unless you are okay order a bunch of sides because each meal is like 1 ingredient. Each is very delicious though and I'm lucky I got this paid for by my work otherwise I would not come. Though I know this is the intention of fancy places.

Love this place. Great rooms, excellent location, wonderful, easygoing vibes, suitable for people travelling alone, with their partner, or with family. Recommended 👍
Michael A — Google review
Summary - not very good value, food or service. We went for a conference dinner at $90 a head - for this you would expect some good food and some wine on the table. We got one drink each and then had to purchase - which was not cheap. The food was not very good - overcooked and quite plain, with small serves. There were no sides or salads on the table. The service was poor - to the effect that the wait staff didn’t pay attention to how they served and provided those on our table with chicken for entree and chicken for a main - good if you like chicken. Dessert was poor too - they obviously didn’t have enough brownies and therefore smashed what they had into the base of bowls - so you had two small bits below some ice cream. Port Macquarie is expensive and this dining experience was poor too. My views were reiterated by 6 others I asked - so it wasn’t just me. 2 stars cause the food was prompt and the view was good.

Went for dinner with friends for my birthday. Had the chef’s special chorizo gnocchi and mushroom arancini and both were delicious. Atmosphere was beautiful and service was great. I was even gifted with a complimentary glass of wine.
Olivia M — Google review
We had dinner here recently. Atmosphere was nice but I did not feel it delivered on the expectation. The service was good but not really relational - the staff did not seem happy but just doing their duty. At one point a waiter came and said our meals were taking longer than expected and asked if we wanted garlic bread. We didn’t think it had taken that long but with the prospect of it taking longer we said yes to the bread. I did feel this was more a marketing ploy to sell more because we got the bread and the meals came almost straight after. The meals we had were pretty unremarkable. Nice, but nothing ‘restaurant special’. The fact I happily paid $45 for a steak and it came very small and not especially tasty was disappointing. Really felt we could have had better at home. So just three stars from me - I usually give 5 but just didn’t feel this was honest for this one.

Zebu Bar and Restaurant in Port Macquarie offers a dining experience that seamlessly marries culinary excellence with stunning waterfront views. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed with its vibrant ambiance, delectable cuisine, and impeccable service. The moment I stepped into Zebu, the modern and chic decor caught my eye. The restaurant's open layout and expansive windows provided unobstructed views of the picturesque Hastings River. The combination of sleek design and the soothing sight of water created a truly inviting atmosphere. The menu, a testament to creativity and quality, featured a diverse array of dishes that catered to a variety of tastes. From fresh seafood to sumptuous steaks, each plate was a masterpiece that celebrated local produce. The attention to flavors and presentation was evident in every bite. The standout moment was undoubtedly the seafood offerings. The freshness of the oysters and the succulence of the prawns were a testament to the restaurant's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients. The fusion of international and local flavors was a delightful journey for the taste buds. Equally remarkable was the service. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were exceptional. They guided me through the options with enthusiasm, ensuring my preferences were met and any dietary concerns were addressed. What truly elevated my dining experience was the waterfront view. As the sun began to set, the golden hues danced on the river's surface, creating a tranquil and magical ambiance. It's a setting that transforms an ordinary meal into an extraordinary memory. Zebu Bar and Restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it's a destination that captures the essence of Port Macquarie's coastal charm. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic dinner, or simply seeking a memorable culinary experience, Zebu offers an exquisite blend of flavors, views, and hospitality. My visit to Zebu Bar and Restaurant was an exploration of taste and aesthetics. It's a place where impeccable cuisine and waterfront elegance converge, leaving a lasting impression that beckons me to return for another remarkable dining adventure.

On the last Saturday of January, we dined at Zebu to mark the end of our holiday. Evening started off as usual, greeted at reception. Ordered drinks (which were great) to start off, and the waitress took our orders for food after that. That's where things started to go downhill. Ordered entrees, mains, and a bottle of wine with table water. She didn't repeat the order as what we expected from past dining experiences all around to start off. Entrees came after a reasonable time (15ish mins). After finishing, the main course came after 25 or so mins. However, between finishing entrees and mains being served, the entree plates and some finished cocktail glasses were not taken away despite the staff being active in welcoming other guests and walking around, we felt a bit disregarded relative to other guests. Mains came, and only then did another staff member - who was stationed at the front the whole time - come with the main plates and then made the effort to take our starter plates and glasses. Mains were very good, no issues there. Throughout this, the wine originally ordered never came. After our plates from mains were taken, another waitress (who didn't take our order) asked if there was anything else needed, where then I brought up the wine issue and said for that to be cancelled. Our water throughout this whole evening was never topped up until the very end when I asked. Even then, my own empty glass wasn't filled, only my wife's. At the end of our time at Zebu, the initial ordering waitress came by, and I explained to her our experience so far. She said she'll inform her manager and soon after the gentleman from the front, who was the supervisor that evening, apologised and added a discount to our check. I explained to him as well what happened and being someone who's worked in the same industry for many years, and also knowing what the Rydges reputation in general is, being of a higher standard, I was extremely underwhelmed with the service. He was very nice and genuine during this interaction. I thanked the chefs at the end for their hard work but told them about the service issues, which they acknowledged. That ordering waitress never came around to top up our water, but did so for every other table (all but 1 table was occupied) as per our observations. Once I asked for the check, the waitress stopped pouring water. (At any bar or restaurant with alcohol, water must be available) The F&B director was also spotted speaking to the supervisor as we left. I had to take 2 glasses of water from the adjacent bar just to have something to drink after the first glass and cocktail. Finally, I told the restaurant to call me as my number was on the reservation records. No one called me until I, just before this post was written, called them myself after 1 week, where I was told that due to staff shortages that shift, they were undermanned, but the F&B director Patrick never apologised during the call, saying no one told him to give me a call. He cut the line at the end to add insult, I didn't feel he genuinely wanted to speak to me. Overall, there were fantastic food and drinks which were enjoyed, but very underwhelming service which soured the evening.

Fabulous!! So much fun 🤩 live music this Friday and Saturday - not sure is every weekend but the sign clearly says live music- fun fun! Music was great! Amazing staff super friendly, extremely kind in their ways and in accommodating people's needs! The chip oh my goodness the best chips I have had in the past at least 3 years!!! Free parking available around the pub area but if is all busy there is next door Cole’s huge parking. Large variety of beers 🍻 chilled people, good vibe to go for dinner or just drinks

Lovely staff who kept my luggage safe while waiting for a late coach, great vegan schnitzel with gravy, decent pints! Would've given five stars but the opening hours don't reflect the reality, they were closed by 9pm on a night their Google page stated they were open until midnight.

As an Irish person the Guinness was 3/10 but for Australians probably a 7/10, also overpriced. Didn’t try the food but had one plant based option. Happy hour is for members only, no pool table but decent selection of larger on tap.

Love the guiness stout so smooth and full flavour, a taste I longed for a long time. Love the barrumundi fish n chip served with garden salad. Everything on the plate was very delicious.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but I think when someone’s food makes you vomit they deserve to know about it. Service was great. We came to see The Skeggs, so the live music was great. Food and drinks were quick despite it being crazy busy. Just the barramundi and chips had me throwing up in a toilet by midnight. I’ll come back, just please make sure you cook your fish properly for me guys.

Great place to eat with a good environment. Food was delicious especially the lunch special (chicken burger). The food is definetly filling and good for the price. Staff were nice and understanding for situations. Fast food service. One thing i did notice was that the pasta was way over cooked and too salty :/ Other than that I would recommend.

Nov 2021: I ordered the stock standard chicken schnitzel. It was such a busy night as well. They checked in on me to let me know if I was okay and the meal was coming. The staff were very courteous. The chicken was cooked to precision. My only regret was I didn't come during the week which is what we used to do when I went to this place in the early 2000's. I will always make a visit here each time I holiday in Port. Good people, good place. Jan 2022: I went a second time on a week day and had the burger for lunch. A good atmosphere. Apr 2022: I had the Monday night chicken parmigiana special it was so nice and lots on the plate. The staff were so hopeful. This place is a gem.

Panthers Port Macquarie is a popular social club in the town of Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. With lounge areas, restaurants, and bars, it has something for everyone. Events at Panthers regularly draw large crowds, making it a great place to be if you're looking for excitement and plenty of company.
Very friendly place. Quick and easy to sign on as a member. Nice steaks and other dishes. Pleasant, kind staffs & always helpful.

Stopped here for dinner with the family. The kitchen got the fish ans chips order wrong and they tried to give us another garlic bread after our mains; but the facility was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. The gear machine arcade game up the back is a rort, they should speak to the supplier.

Went for dinner Wednesday 4th December 2024. Worst food we have ever had usually really nice. The T-bone steak was tough, grisly and very fatty, the lamb in the roast dinner was dry like it had been sitting there for hours and the kids meals (burgers) were burnt and cheese hard as a rock. It was not even overly busy so there is no excuse. Not impressed and I have made a complaint but have not heard back from management. Was a total waste of money. We come to Port approx 3 times a year visiting family and have never had such a terrible meal at the Panthers and I highly doubt we will go back after this. UPDATE 16th December : still no resolution or explanation why the food was served like this. Management just push the complaint aside !! Very bad customer service UPDATE 4th January 2025 no resolution or explanation to the above review management just push the complaint aside and hope you go away !! I went higher to the Penrith Panthers and sent my complaint there as they’d obviously be the higher club but No reply what so ever. Disgusting customer service from both clubs. Plus just lie to you that they are going to get back to you but they don’t and just hope you go away !!! I’d really like a refund for the whole meal and my membership as it’s a disgrace to run a business the way this club does.

Drinks and staff good. Neal was very overpriced from some bottom of the barrel veg and Deb with two and a half cutlets with mushroom water. Greasy although the extra star as they were cooked nicely.

Food was nice, without being anything out of the ordinary. Bistro is fairly empty. Think they need to update their signage, since it's October, they're advertising Melbourne Cup, yet also have the signs for August.

Very close location to town centre. Plenty parking spots. This club is huge and clean. Nice interior design and beautiful views. Staffs were all attentive and friendly. Food was good price, tasty and massive! Really massive meals! I'd come this place much more often if I lived in Port Macquarie. Well done!

We pulled into the Port Macquarie marina for 2 nights on our way south. The Panthers was a short stroll from the yacht so we popped in to take a look! Good call! We were greeted by Lawrie with a good laugh and a thoughtful introduction to the club. Spot on customer service as we enjoyed both nights at the Panthers. Food, drinks, service and ambience were all top notch. We managed to win the meat raffle twice! Thank you all for making our brief stay in Port Macquarie so memorable.

Little Shack is a riverside cafe located at the beginning of the Breakwall near NRMAs Breakwall Holiday Park. It opened in early 2019 and offers quality coffee made with beans from Will & Co, along with a simple yet satisfying food menu. The cafe has a relaxed and fun atmosphere, featuring al fresco seating overlooking the river, tropical umbrellas, and waterfront cocktails.
Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat and drink whilst visiting the city centre or walking along the costal track. The Little Shack secret sauce that comes with the chips is AMAZING. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the seating options can reflect the style of visit you want. Sit up in the Cafe area for a food centric visit or sit down in the beer garden area for a more beverage centric visit. Either way, you will have a chill and relaxing stop.

Super charming place to watch the sun go down and plenty of seating to get that water view. The coffee is delicious here and I'm super fussy, every bit of food that I've had especially the fish tacos have always been on the money. Extremely friendly staff and if you turn up later you can order your coffee and food down the bottom bar area and they give you a buzzer.. very simple, fast, efficient business. Extremely clean toilets and very mod. This would be one number one taking my father here and family and friends. The view is hard to pass, especially When you pick the wind going away from the building.

Only place I’ve gone where you can get a cocktail in a coconut 🍹+🥥!!! Both cocktails were in a world of their own, and as a seasonal cocktailer… well.. simply sublime‼️ Special commendations to the handsome bearded bartender who whipped up a special apple and elderberry drink, what a king 👑🍎!!

Great food which is usually expected for a Flowers establishment. The coffees, food and alcohol always great, but the atmosphere and location is the real winner of the venue. Regardless if you go for a breakfast, Sunday arvo chill session or evening with acoustic musicians, the water views are beautiful.

Great little lunch spot. We met before a farm stay out of Port. Great island style atmosphere; very friendly staff. Food was quick to be delivered and so so delicious. Had the Nasi Goreng and it hit the spot after the drive from Sydney.

(3.5 stars) When the restaurant at Rydges Port Macquarie couldn’t make a barista coffee before 7am (despite claiming they open at 6.30am) we ventured just beyond the property to Little Shack. With the feel of an island bar, this indoor-outdoor space wraps itself around a salt and wind tolerant Norfolk Island pine (rather than a coconut palm). Windbreaks make it winter-friendly, with festooned fairy lights beating the early morning gloom. Facing onto the Port Hasting River, it comes into full sun later in the day. Barista-made Will & Co coffees ($5.50/regular) were no problem here. The chilli mushroom burrito ($18) revolves around tasty sautéed buttered mushrooms. There’s also creamy scrambled eggs, a hash brown for body, and smoked tomato chutney for some tang, plus a pot of guacamole I didn’t touch. While you do have to ask rather than see gluten-free options marked on the menu, my dining companion felt catered to with bacon and egg tacos ($17.50/2). Loaded with scrambled eggs, Bangalow bacon and charred chorizo, and lashed with chipotle aioli, they’re a decent protein hit. It was only let down (like my own breakfast) by oxidised pots of pre-prepared guacamole.

The current 4.3 rating is an utter injustice. A beautiful little restaurant with a gorgeous view. We’ve never seen so many dolphins jumping so high over the waves! The food was great! We had the smashed avo and the breakfast taco which had so much flavour and were a mark above most cafe breakfasts. The green goddess smoothie was deliciously coconut mango-y and the hot choccy was like a little milky hug. It has a great atmosphere with the decorations and soft indie music. I absolutely will come back and recommend wholeheartedly!

Head over to Bar Florian for a taste of vibrant Mediterranean flavors in a retro-styled Italian bar. Indulge in thin-crust pizzas, cured meats, and cheeses served on handcrafted glass platters. The venue also offers an array of boutique beers, fine wines, and spirits. Located opposite Macquarie Waters, the airy courtyard seating provides a relaxed atmosphere to savor the culinary delights with friends or family.
Food, fairy lights & fab service! I love the atmosphere of Bar Florian. The food was all fresh and delicious, and a great selection of cocktails and other drinks. We arrived just in time for Happy Hour 5pm-7pm 😊 Highly recommend

There's lots to like about this bar. Extensive selection of wine, beer, cocktails and more including a couple of great local beers on tap. And the atmosphere was excellent. Service was friendly but slow, which is fine when you're in a group. Staff probably just need more experience. Pizza topping was tasty but the base was cardboardy. Definitely worth a visit. And dog friendly outside.

Had the most amazing girls night out at Bar Florian! Excellent service from the team—especially Sky, her customer service is fantastic. She created such a warm and welcoming environment, and her ability to develop repport with her patrons really made the night stand out.
Mercury J — Google review
Very disappointing. The menu consists of overpriced entrees, the pizza menu has 8 options and when they come out they are very small, not much bang for your buck. If you’re going to have a few options and small food with high prices you would make sure that you perfect your craft to make up for those factors, right? Apparently not. Now I’m no connoisseur or a picky eater, but it looked and tasted exactly like a McCains store bought pizza and it had a mayo sort of sauce on top that did not go with the rest of the toppings. Atmosphere was pretty nice and staff were friendly. I am from a large, multicultural city so I am used to great Italian food, so I will acknowledge that my expectations are probably higher than most and when I attended the restaurant it was fairly busy, which may cut a little slack for it not tasting great, but c’mon. It was probably the worst pizza I have had in a while.

Fantastic small bar located in the heart of port Mac, offering a great selection of cocktails, beers and wines, with awesome food, bookings are essential. Onsite bathrooms, street parking, fairly priced, service on my particular visit was a little tight as I believe they maybe have been a little short staffed, other then that i would definitely recommend visiting bar Florian. Would recommend

Had a sensational evening! Atmosphere, vibe, food, cocktails, and super friendly attentive staff ✔️✔️✔️....really could not fault this place. We had the bread and dipping oil and a pizza to share. Cocktails pictured are the Toblerone and mint slice, both superb. Definitely will be going back...especially for the extensive cocktail menu ~ the hardest part was choosing what to drink 🍸 👌👌👌

One of the few places open late on a Friday night! It does get busy, given that it is one of the few places open till late, but we didn't have to wait at all for a table to fall vacant. They've got indoor and outdoor seating. It's a nice cosy place with music playing in the background and the staff are friendly too! We ended up ordering two pizzas and a Toblerone and pina colada cocktail. For the price you pay for the pizzas, they are pretty average, but have a lot of cheese. The cocktails on the other hand have a decent amount of alcohol in them. Overall, the cocktails are good. And if they add a little more flavour to their pizzas, then I wouldn't mind paying that price on a Friday night. Hit a like, if this review was helpful 👍

Called in for a drink and also had the Antipasto Piccolo, it was very generous with a large wedge of the triple cream brie alot of various types of olives some prosciutto and another of bread. The bread was supposed to have been toasted but was only just warmed and not what I would call ciabatta, but the cheese made up for it, it's was beautiful. Overall I rate this very good. Back again 9 months later and we shared an antipasto platter and it was great and very generous we love the food here and when got up to go they put our leftovers in a takeaway container which looked fantastic

Nestled in a dimly lit alley, Stick Bar is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Specializing in Japanese wood-fired BBQ, this unique venue offers an array of skewered delights, from traditional Yakitori to the audacious 666 sticks for those seeking adventure. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out. Pair your flavorful bites with one of their expertly crafted cocktails for a truly indulgent evening.
We visited Stick a few weeks back and the food was some of the best I had while in Port Mac. My favourite was the pork belly skewers and sweet potato fries. It's a great bar to go and get a whole bunch of food to share and have some cocktails. Was also a big fan of the cocktail I had! It's got a very cool and funky atmosphere as well. Well worth a visit for dinner and drinks if you're in the area! Will definitely be back again!

What a fun place to go! The cocktail menu is extensive and Yum! Highly recommend Odin’s Elixir and the Pink Pony Club cocktails! The food is not only yummy but very reasonably priced! Atmosphere in the bar is awesome! Great music, staff super friendly! Well done to Scott and his team for carving out their own fun space in Port!

A very unique bar with a wide variety of drinks at very reasonable prices. The enthusiasm of the waiters can melt you into a sea of love. The food is very special. The cocktails combine art and technology. The owner is very considerate and generous. You can become friends with everyone. I will miss this place very much. I must go for a drink next time I pass by.

This place is the X Factor- most importantly their fun, ever so good looking and engaging staff, the venue has a great look and feel inside and out, visually appealing smoky or bubble pop- cocktails and let’s not forget the curry homus! That stuff is a show stopper

The best food and most incredible cocktails at a very, very , very reasonable price- in Sydney I would have paid in excess of $500 and my bill was $118 (heaps of great food, 2 proseccos and 2 great cocktailsl)

Had an excellent experience here! The food was delicious and really well priced for the quality you get – great value without compromising on flavour or presentation. The cocktail menu was a standout, with creative mixes that were balanced and made with care (definitely worth coming back just for those). What really made the night though was the staff – friendly, attentive and welcoming without being overbearing. They made sure everything ran smoothly and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, it’s one of those spots where you feel like you’re getting top-tier service and drinks at a fair price. Highly recommend if you’re after good food, amazing cocktails and staff who genuinely make you feel looked after.

Altitude Nightclub, perched above the bustling Galleria Arcade, offers a vibrant escape with its stunning street views. Once known as Roxy's Nightspot, this venue has transformed from a smoky techno haunt into a lively hotspot for those looking to unwind after work or celebrate special occasions. With an emphasis on hip-hop and rap music, Altitude caters to a youthful crowd eager to dance the night away. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly staff who whip up fantastic cocktails and ensure guests feel welcome.
Where to begin… It was an experience i will never forget. One moment i’m dancing with my friends and the next my drink was fizzy. I started to see come crazy things and everyone was spinning and my legs began to feel like jelly and i couldn’t walk. Would highly recommend

Club was transported straight out of the 1990s with sticky floors, overpriced drinks and the saddest dance floor known to man. The front door still demanded a $10 entry fee, despite having only a few dozen people inside. This sorry excuse for a nightclub acts as a shameful reflection of the past. Where even the locals are too ashamed to set foot in
Jojas G — Google review
Really bad nightclub. Better off going to Finnian's or Tacking Point Tavern until lockout and then going home. Couldn't rate this place any lower than one star but it deserves 0.

Canadian here on a working holiday visa. Had this night planned for 2.5 weeks with 16 of our backpacking friends. Arrive to the doors, I hand my ID to the bigger security guard. I ask him if he would prefer my Australian drivers license or my Canadian drivers license. He responds with "I don't care, as long as it's valid" in a very stern tone. He then proceeds to tell me that I'm not allowed in. When I ask him why I'm told it's because my throat is tattooed and it's apart of their dress code. The sheet of paper that's posted on the entrance states something along the lines of no face tattoos or head tattoos. Better teach your staff basic anatomy because my neck is not my head nor my face. Never in my travels have I been discriminated against because of my tattoos or my appearance. Get with the times this is 2025, not 1958. If I could leave this place a 0 stars I would happily do so.

Shocking. i wrang to check dress code and went looking on there website sites. Nothing about tattoos so me my partner dressed up to go danceing drove 2 hours to go there to be told NO ENTRY my head tattoo that dosent go anywhere near my face breaches dress code .. could have told me when i wrang and asked about it ..wish I could post a picture to go with this review coz we looked good and my tattoos are respectful thai bamboo art .. not gangster..

Worst place I have ever been. When ordering vodka lime and sodas there was no vodka put into the drinks but was still charged for this. This happened on a number of occasions during the night.I raised this with the same bar tender each time but she continued to claim she had used the hand held machine. If she thought that I had too much to drink refuse me service instead of charging me full price and giving me lime and soda water. Considering I was sober enough to realise she was not putting vodka into the drinks would indicate I was not that intoxicated. It was the same bar tender however, when we would get someone else there were no issues with the vodka. I am not usually one to leave reviews but seriously disappointed given how exxy the drinks are. We had someone with us who was not even drinking who tried the drinks each time and also confirmed there was absolutely no vodka in them.

This place has always been the same there is good reason why the locals all go down to Newcastle just to go to there night club the staff have been rude each time the bartenders always mouth to everyone especially the bigger security guard that stands near the door the things that come out of his mouth are ridiculous he goes out of his own way to stir up people and it’s always boys he does it too I have seen and heard each time I have been it’s like he enjoys stirring up these blokes to get a reaction and then they wonder why everyone gets angry and wants to fight back and like I said he’s done this every time we’ve been. we have given this place chance after chance and each time the experience and expectation has been the same the drinks are ridiculously overpriced there is hardly anyone in there and the place is straight up disgusting looks like it never gets clean it’s been this way since my sister was a teenager.I wouldn’t even call it a night club the dance floor is the smallest floor you have ever seen.if you want to have a good time the drive to Newcastle is worth it cheap drinks way cleaner and multiple dance floors and levels and security gaurds actually do there job there is a lot more to what I’ve said but nothing is worth coming here there’s a reason why the pubs have more people and nightlife going on in them this place has bad reviews for a GOOD reason with everyone complaining about the same exact things.

The owner Brett, Manager Liam and their staff are the most hospitable that i have seen in a long time. They made me feel comfortable when i came from Sydney for a night, however ended up staying and extra night because of the hospitality. Cheers Brett and Liam, you guys run a fantastic ship and hope to see you guys soon!
