BBQ Nuong Khoi Hoi An is a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Hoi An, perfect for those who have a passion for grilled delicacies. This charming eatery offers an array of mouthwatering options, from succulent grilled meats and fresh seafood to flavorful marinated vegetables, all cooked over traditional charcoal stoves that enhance their taste.
My parents insisted I leave a review about how much we enjoyed it. We had beef short ribs and squid to grill at our table over charcoal, and we also ordered the morning glory with seafood and beef. Everything was delicious! The seasoning wasn't too salty or sweet, just perfect, and the sauces were amazing. Even though I am not a big fan of ribs, the ones here were so good that I even gnawed the meat off the bones! The only downside was that it took a while to grill, otherwise we would have ordered more. I wish we had found this place sooner – we'll definitely be back before we leave Hoi An!
Hyewon K — Google review
We discovered this hole in the wall directly across the street from Hoian Central Hotel. We had the bbq chicken, sweet and sour duck and the spicy grilled beef. All delicious, great prices and nice portions and quick service. I recommend take-away, if it's a hot day.
V D — Google review
Best place I’ve eaten in Vietnam. Tried some local food (Cao Lau) and a chicken curry for a VERY reasonable price. It was open late which was needed after we got off the bus. Made such a lovely change from pho and fried rice every day! Beautiful and delicious please go! They do bbq as well that looked amazing but we didn’t have.
Briony C — Google review
A small family-run restaurant with surprisingly impressive food. We went there twice during our stay in Hoi An, first to try local specialities (bahn xeo and cao lau), then we tried their barbecue. They have a separate menu for barbecue: we chose pork ribs, frogs, and oysters. Everything tasted great each time, but especially oysters were mindblowing: seasoned with fried onion, chives and peanuts, they were cooking on the tabletop barbecue in a delicious sauce. Very friendly service as well. Highly recommended!
Magdalena B — Google review
It's places like this one that make Vietnam such a wonderful place to visit (and experience local dishes). I had Cau Lau. Delicious! You can see the thick noodles being dried in the morning at the main market in Hoi An. Here is a description of Cau Lau from wiki.. Cao lầu is a regional Vietnamese noodle dish, from the city of Hội An, in central Vietnam's Quảng Nam Province. It typically consists of pork and greens on a bed of rice noodles made from rice which has been soaked in lye water, giving them a characteristic texture and colour that sets the dish apart from other Vietnamese noodle dishes, including others from the same region, such as mì Quảng.
Chris N — Google review
We ordered the sautéed shrimp with rice and the BBQ beef, and everything exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food expertly cooked, but the seasoning and side sauces—especially the spicy sauce with a refreshing twist that came with the beef—perfectly complemented each dish. For dessert, the pineapple pancake was the perfect finishing touch, like the cherry on top of a cake. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the prices were incredibly fair, offering exceptional value for such high-quality food. After few weeks of traveling and trying local food, this is hands down the best place we’ve eaten in Vietnam. I’d happily come back again and again, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Perfect place for some BBQ. everything is delicious, especially the butter shrimp. There is not much details about the hotpot from the menu. But we loved it, a lot of ingredient in sweet and rich tasty soup. definitely worth trying.

Stopped here in between clothing fittings. This place was so good . The bbq was delicious I got the beef bbq with the fresh spring rolls. The bbq even came with grilled eggplant and okra divine

Restaurant
HANOK BBQ - Korean Grill House is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic Korean barbecue experience. Nestled in Hoi An, this restaurant boasts a charming traditional design that exudes both coziness and luxury. Guests can indulge in a variety of delicious grilled dishes featuring fresh beef, pork, and chicken, all marinated to perfection in classic Korean flavors.
First of all, please take care of your kids, do not let them run all around the restaurant. Please be such adult parents. Leaning to have manners. :) ----------------------------------------------- Me and my husband was worried that the food would come slow. When it came slow, we reminded the staffs again. They brought us what we ordered fast, so seem like we didn't wait for the food to long. The staffs took response to change the grilled pan every time it tend to be a little burn which was really nice! Please come and try! I love the sauces and the meat was fresh. Ps, keep your kids in your table!!!!!!!!!!!
Zany — Google review
Pretty decent Korean bbq in Hoi An. Service was efficient and frequent visits from the wait staff to replace the charcoal grill top. Only gripe was the limited numbers of banchan offered. Good place to visit while in Hoi An and had a sudden hankering for Korean
Carlos G — Google review
Went for dinner buffet and everything from service to food to value was excellent. Love the beef and pork belly especially! There are so many options for the meat as well as carbs/soups/veg/side dishes. The variety of food offered is a big plus point and everything tasted so good, even a simple beef kimchi stew with eggy springy noodles. There were only two of us and because the portions are not big, we would try so many dishes :) In terms of service, the staff offers to change the hot plate very frequently so that the meat won’t be charred. Also it’s a charcoal grill!
Denise T — Google review
We had their buffet for 289,000 VND. The food selection was quite limited. They even brought the pork to the table while they were still frozen. Most of the dishes (clamp soup, mixed rice, noodles) did not taste good. It does not convince me for another try.
Ph D — Google review
Food and location is good but the air-condition is not good upstairs.
Saw P — Google review
Yeah this place is the bomb. Tad pricey at minimum 250k per person + drinks but we went back twice. Good cuts of meat that never stop coming unless you ask. Plenty of different side dishes and the steamed egg is delicious, sushi is nice, fresh kimchi and a few other side dishes. They have more expensive banquet options but we passed. Seems to get super busy so they are doing something right.

With its modern and lively ambiance, this buffet offers an impressive selection of dishes at an astonishing price point of just 109K. Easy to get full with fresh meats, seafood. Tasty seasoning. Very cheap. Have a small playground for children. Hope there will be more types of food in future.

A friend invited us to come here so we did. Enjoyed a nice evening with good food. Most of the people from our group were vegetarians, so they didn’t really fully benefit from the all you can eat buffet as much as the meat eaters. It’s great value for the money what you get here. Place was packed, but especially our Vietnamese friends enjoyed the food a lot. Would come back.

Came at 1930 expecting an all you can eat experience. Got there and was very very unimpressed. All the food was basically gone, waited for it to be refilled however was told that whatever is left is what you get. Afterwards I went home with food poisoning. The workers tried to accommodate with what they had but it was not a pleasant experience.

(Translated by Google) Delicious food, like: But the minus points of BBQ, - Hot food is handled incorrectly (no hot stuff) - When eating hot pot, leave the hot pot directly on the remaining coals after grilling the food (it takes a long time for the hot pot to boil and is very dangerous, easy to spill and can burn guests with boiling water).

Pork belly, ribs, fish, shrimp, chicken, mantis shrimp, crab, mushrooms, oysters, grilled quail eggs, sausages, fish balls... Salad, vegetables, kimchi, hot pot Stir-fried noodles, braised chicken wings, tofu with meat sauce, soup, fried rice.... Dessert fruit. In general, eat well, ladies and gentlemen The minus point is that it's a bit far from the center. (Original) Tưởng không đa dạng món mà thấy món quá chừng. If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Hoi An, Lẩu Băng Chuyền Hội An - Yo!Hotpot is the perfect spot to gather with friends and enjoy a cozy meal. This spacious and clean venue offers an all-you-can-eat hotpot experience that truly satisfies every craving. With over 100 options available, you can indulge in various flavors, including their popular Thai Tom Yum soup that strikes the right balance of heat and flavor.
All you can eat, really does mean, ALL you can eat. It is very well priced & great value for money. They have (5) flavours (of base soup) for varying taste buds, although I had the Thai (Tom Yum), it was medium heat, flavoursome & extremely “satisfying”. They have a green chilli (with green tea - among the ingredients) & Hoisin sauce to accompany the meal, both are tasty. You can have thinly sliced beef by the plateful & it keeps coming out until you ask them to stop. There is selection of meats, vegetables & other items on the belt for all tastes & food choices. The fruit drinks were enjoyable with other drinks, soft drinks, cocktails & beer etc available. Finally, the secret, unnamed, dessert was tantalising. Make sure you ask for some. Cost for meal & drinks for our family of 4 was about US$50.00 (AUD 73).

Food is great and price is reasonable (230K/person). Service is the best. Big space and very convenient. Will go back!

I describe this place as a Vietnamese Korean BBQ with a sushi train restaurant. It is a all you can eat Hotpot. The ingredients are on the sushi train for you to add to your Hotpot. The meat is served separately. I found the food very good and very tasty. Well, worth a try.
Ross S — Google review
I went there on a Friday evening. The place was empty so I was the only one, but they kept the entire belt moving and the employees were super attentive. Good variety of food as well, rivaling that of higher ends places, and the cheese fishballs were amazing. I will be visiting this place everytime I go to Hoi An.

Big place but no customers, foods might not fresh sometimes, price a little high , drinks didn't come with the price you pay.

We had a fantastic and unique experience in this rotating hotpot style. You can select anything from the conveyor like a sushi restaurant. The price is good, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend if you’re in Hoi An.

Mọi - Lẩu & Nướng (BBQ & Hot Pot) is a local spot near the river bridge in Hoi An. The menu offers delicious BBQ options at reasonable prices, making it a great choice for those on a budget. While English may not be widely spoken and there are some concerns about the service, the food is highly recommended. However, it's suggested to avoid the seafood.
Love this place. It’s not easy to find good local food in Hoi An, as many spots cater mainly to tourists — but we accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant, and it was worth every penny. The fresh heated oysters were a standout — delicious and affordably priced. We also really enjoyed their marinated grilled dishes, which were full of flavour. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something authentic and satisfying! On top of that, they were really friendly and accommodating. A must try!

💎 What a feast! Absolute joy of taste 🙀 The combo set for 99k is just unbelievable — three kinds of meat, fresh, flavorful, and you grill it yourself right at the table. It’s not just food — it’s a full experience. There’s something truly magical about this kind of dinner: the sound of the fire, the smell of grilled meat, the small talk, the laughter — and that quiet joy of cooking your own perfect bite. The staff are wonderful — young, kind, and full of good energy. They even let me drink my tea while I grilled — simple, warm moments that make travel feel human again. Came here twice for sunset — and every time it felt like a celebration. Perfect food, warm lights, and that cozy BBQ glow. Hidden gem of local life. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real flavor and atmosphere. 🫶🔥

We came early after our daytrip so there weren't a lot of people, but the place is really nice. The people were very kind and helped us with some questions we had. We had a small hotpot for 2 people and some bbq dishes (oysters with scallion sauce and goat) and deepfried crab balls. Everything was seriously delicious. We got beer in ice cold metal bottles of 1 litre which were really nice! Saved it to come back to when I'm around the Hoi Am area in the future.

Mr. Quân BBQ is a popular buffet-style barbecue spot in Hoi An, known for its delicious grilled dishes and welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to gather with friends and family to enjoy a variety of tasty options such as BBQ squid, octopus, frog, chicken, and pork belly. Whether you're dining on the street or inside the restaurant, you can expect friendly service and an authentic Vietnamese dining experience.
When we mentioned at our homestay, that we would love to try some great seafood and lobster 🦞 our host looked at us and told us we must visit Mr. Quân and I can tell you, that this was an absolutely golden tip. You can pick whatever seafood you see ready on the iced bar and create your own package which Mr. Quân then prepare on the open fire for you. Taste was excellent and value for the price even better. Thank you for having us. 🔥🌶️

A little street cart at the end of the market street offering fresh charcoal grilled seafood! Came to try the lobster and it was sensational! Cheap prices compared to other stores/stalls offering lobster and cooked very well! I got the medium and there was a huge chunk of meat in both sides! Lemon tea is also super refreshing!
Kin S — Google review
Flippin lush and great value. 350k (ish, depending on weight) for lobster, shrimp, aubergine all BBQed to order. The family that run the place are super canny too. If you leave Hoi An without eating here, you’re missing out.
Jack C — Google review
Amazing meal!!! We had the most incredible lobster here, with a delicious selection of sides - crunchy cucumber, oozy aubergine and bread with the most delicious flavoured butter! This is so much better value than some of the more expensive seafood restaurants, with no compromise on the taste! The service was lovely, and we were offered free top ups of our sides. My husband and I love our food, and this was one of the best meals we’ve had!
Sophie B — Google review
The best street food I’ve ever had, egg plant and bread was seasoned to perfection and the lobster portion was huge and amazing, must try if in city
BXN — Google review
Thanks Mr Quân. The lobster was spot on. Better still the Eggpalnt was killer because I don’t normally eat eggplant. Thanks to you and your family. Highly recommended.
2 F — Google review
One of the most delicious things I have eaten on my trip. And right next to some fun music
Zoe M — Google review
At the very end of the walk way past the night market stands a very proud man at the grill, a quiet smile on his face as his wife yells at him to keep grilling. She is the boss, he is the pit master, their two daughters run drinks in their little bike baskets. This man knows his seafood. The lobster smells of the ocean, cooked so perfectly that the juice retains in the shell like a soup. The eggplant side dish with the crisp bread covered in chilli oil is ALMOST better than the lobster. You sit at a plastic table, watching their beautiful little family make a living next to the pier. They are kind, wonderful people.

MIX Greek restaurant in Hoi An is a rare gem, offering authentic Greek cuisine in the heart of Vietnam. The owner, a Greek native, ensures that the dining experience is as genuine as it gets. Despite its cozy and not overly spacious setting, the restaurant exudes a pleasant vibe with an inviting outdoor patio. Visitors are often surprised by the high quality of the food, with some even comparing it favorably to dishes found in Greece itself.
I’m not sure how to express this feeling, but it was definitely my number 1 in this year. So tasty! Want to say thanks to all staff. They was amazing, food was delicious and more! Thank you for special dessert from chef. I highly recommend this place for everyone. Believe me you won’t be disappointed!

I had an amazing experience at this Greek restaurant in Hoi An, Vietnam! I was extremely impressed with the food — we ordered five different dishes and every single one was delicious and full of authentic Greek flavor. The atmosphere was pleasant (4/5), the place was very clean, and the service was also good (4/5) — though I felt the staff could improve by maintaining better eye contact and attentiveness to customers. One suggestion: adding live music in the evenings and turning the place into more of a Greek taverna vibe would really elevate the experience and be great for business. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back! את שמותיהן או את תוכן הרשימה

Our meal at MIX was delicious. They have a variety of options with real Greek flavors. When you walk through the entrance into the back, you are transported to another country. The decor with outside seating and the music was wonderful and very romantic. But it can definitely accommodate large groups and they have a separate indoor seating area with A/C. We really enjoyed our meal and recommend MIX when you’re looking for something a little different in Hoi An.

Best authentic Greek food in Hoi An! Tried the pork souvlaki, which was tasty and big, and the Greek salad, which was also a decent size. Definitely coming back to sample more of the delectable menu 😍

Excellent food and service in a lovely setting. I make a point of visiting every time I'm in Hội An. Be warned the meat platters are large. We found the platter for one to be enough for two after our keftedes starter.

Authentic Greek cuisine! Great team. Very friendly service. Beautiful courtyard and a cool spot in the restaurant for hot days. Highly recommended. I ate here every third day. I'd love to come back.

Great little Greek spot in hoi an old town area. And they got a big air conditioned room inside, we came for lunch and to beat the heat, the restaurant was empty. The decor and vibe is nice and quite a big space outdoors. Got a souvlaki and a moussaka. My souvlaki was good, I do prefer tzatziki over their yellow sauce though, and some more fillings but overall a decent souv and moussaka was yummy. They also gave complementary dessert a banana pudding. Definitely recommend the food here if you’re craving Greek food 🇬🇷 in 🇻🇳

We found this place on a walk and glad we did. It’s beautifully put together, quite away from sellers on the street and the food was delicious. They also gave us a little remembrance token, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend !!

Min's Sushi bar & bbq is a well-known spot for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts in Hoi An and Quang Nam. The focus here is on creating delicious and pure sushi and sashimi, with an emphasis on natural flavors. The dishes are carefully prepared, using minimal sugar and no artificial seasonings. This attention to detail not only enhances the taste but also reflects the dedication of Min's in satisfying its customers.
We were recommended to come from our hotel, so glad we did. Outstanding! The sashimi was so good and fresh, we ate it twice. Salmon dynamite roll, beef skewers, edemame, hot sake, it was all sooooo good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you can't go wrong. Tucked away on a side street out of the old city.

Such a cute place! The vibe is so good the music is nice, and the staff is just lovely. The food was incredible, definitely best sushi I've had so far in Vietnam. They even gave us complementary miso soup and personal desserts at the end of the meal and took 10% off the bill just because. Absolutely incredible. Don't miss it.

Possibly the best ramen I’ve ever had! Prices are good, it’s quiet and clean inside, you get your food quickly and you can tell they genuinely care about serving food quality food. I also had dumplings which were okay (tasted fresh and well cooked, I’ve just had better) Good selection of drinks but the soyu ramen was absolutely the highlight! My total bill for dumplings, ramen and a water was about $12AUD Would definitely recommend

Lovely family-owned comfy place, excellent food, high quality ingredients and great staff. It is an absolute priviledge to see the chef preparing those bites of paradise right in front of you. Absolutely fantastic, and highly recommended! Amazing job, thank you!

A small and lovely place, they give a small portion of soup and dessert for free in every meal. The staff were so nice and the food was amazing! Really affordable too. I ordered another portion of miso because it was so good. They also put a knitted flower on the table which was adorable. And now they us 4 more mini desserts! They are so kind and nice. A must visit in hoi an!!

Min’s Sushi bar & BBQ is a gem! My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful meal here. The fresh fish was next-level—each bite melted in our mouths like butter. We paired it with cold beer and sake, which flowed effortlessly throughout the evening. The ramen was rich and satisfying, and the tempura had that perfect crisp without being greasy. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced. The vibe was relaxed yet refined, and we felt genuinely welcomed. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip—this spot is a must for sushi lovers and anyone craving authentic Japanese flavors in Hội An!

Very nice little cosy place. The staff are super sweet, kind and friendly. Sushi is freshly made (you can see them making it) and very good taste. I went on my own as I'm traveling solo so I couldn't try as many things as I wanted to, but I would definitelly come back. Thank you 😊

HOI AN SEAFOOD is a charming restaurant located in the heart of Hoi An's old town, offering a delightful culinary experience centered around fresh seafood. The restaurant takes pride in its commitment to using only the freshest ingredients and delicate preparation methods that preserve the natural flavors of the sea. Its cozy space combines traditional Hoi An characteristics with modern style, creating an inviting atmosphere for both local and international guests.
Authentic Central Vietnamese Cuisine with just the right amount of flavor, perfect for both local and international guests. The dishes are exquisitely presented and prepared, showcasing the chef's and owner's dedication to each plate. The restaurant's owner must have a great eye for architecture and interior design. The outdoor space seamlessly blends with nature, providing a very chill atmosphere for dining starting from 5 PM. For lunch, you can enjoy the cool air-conditioned indoor seating while still experiencing a sense of simplicity, tranquility, and sophistication.

The restaurant has a spacious campus, located next to the rice fields, beautiful and cool scenery. The location is about 1km from the center of the old town. The seafood menu is rich, diverse, fresh. The quality of processing is okay, but it takes a while.

Arrived hotel in late evening, this restaurant just beside hotel. So, take a quick dinner. Taste is normal for fired rice and noodle. We had not take the seafood. Anyway, it is quite hot as there is no aircon only big fans.

I had dinner at Nha Hang with two Vietnamese friends; we were not disappointed. The menu provides a variety of seafood dishes and non-seafood. My favorites were the spring rolls and clam oysters. The waiter was quite attentive to our dining needs. The environment was a pleasant and warm experience.

Two sets of prices- local & tourist prices are different by at least 40%. Environment: 9/10 Service: 4/10 - most of them can't communicate in English. Service slow. Staff not attentive. Food: Tasty, big portion but seafood slightly overpriced, even for local price.
Lay O — Google review
Don’t come here—it’s a tourist trap. They have separate menus for locals and tourists, with tourist prices generally double those for locals. When I noticed the high prices, I checked Google Reviews and found several people had already warned about their practices. For example, stir-fried water spinach was listed at 55,000 VND on the local menu but 99,000 VND on the English menu. When confronted about the scam, they shamelessly admitted it, claiming their tourist prices were still lower than those at other restaurants. We just walked out.

Nhà hàng hải sản TẤN LỘC in Hoi An is a traditional seafood restaurant known for its meticulous cooking style and delightful flavors. It has gained popularity, drawing crowds and receiving positive reviews for its amazing seafood dishes. Visitors have praised the super fresh grouper fish, oysters, squids, and tiger prawns. The homemade Thai Chilli sauce served with oysters is highly recommended. The family running the restaurant is known for being friendly and welcoming to guests.
Came here because it's near to our hotel. We went there after their last call but they still serve us. Hospitality is good, owners/staffs are friendly, outspoken and shows effort to communicate even when their English is not good. (They offered to cut our coconut when we finished drinking, so that we could eat the coconut meat. They try to offer to close the blind for us when it's windy. All these details shows that they cared for their customers) For 2 persons, we ordered fried rice with squid, half kg of prawn with tamarind sauce, vege with garlic. Fried rice is similar to stone rice, a bit crunchy, quite similar to Chinese/Korean style like those we tried in Taiwan or Korea. Prawn in tamarind sauce is quite appetising as its sweet and sour. Price maybe slightly higher, but with this location, a seafood restaurant by the beach and a great environment, you just can't complain. Indeed the portion served (both the prawn and fried rice) were too big for 2 person, it's might be nice for 3-4 persons, which makes it worth the money.

This place has a lovely ocean view. We had a bunch of cocktail and some crispy squid. The squid was lovely but it was a bit over cooked. The cocktails were a disappointment, the mango tasted off in the drinks.

A great, quiet place, popular with vietnamese swimmers early mornings. I love to add some passionfruit to my bia saigon, gives it a fruity flavour. Very reasonable beer prices for a beachfront location!

Great service and delicious food. Grilled prawns and clams were delicious. Fresh seafood and reasonable prices. Below negative review was made after two people were occupying two umbrellas and were asked if they could share one as per restaurant policy due to limited amount of shade. Reviewers refused and threatened owner with a 1 star review. Understandably the owner asked them to leave after they refused. Entitled tourists need to try to cheering up. They’re on holiday!
Louis M — Google review
Excellent seafood meal on the beach, grilled prawns were delicious as were cockles and spring rolls. Cocktails were around AU$ 3.70 each… so we downed seven or eight! Total was less than AU$60 for everything for both of us. You can barely get a round of cocktails for that back in Oz.
Darren H — Google review
This location was recommended to me by the hotel and let just say they dun good. Like all the seafood places here the food is fresh from the tanks and cooked to perfection, the service very prompt and smiles everywhere. What I have found super different about this place is their willingness to go the extra mile, I like bloody Mary’s buy the second night they had bought all the ingredients and were making some of the best drinks ever! We decided that we wanted sand under our feet so they moved our table to the beach and continued to serve incredibly well cooked well priced food. I would rate higher if I could

The seafood here is absolutely amazing! Having travelled round the world, this is hands down the best seafood meal we have ever had. All the seafood (grouper fish, oysters, squids, tiger prawns) were super fresh and all the dishes were cooked so nicely and preserved the freshness of the seafood. The oyster with the homemade Thai Chilli sauce was absolutely to die for - a must try! The family running the restaurant was also super friendly.

(Translated by Google) This is a Vietnamese home-style restaurant located near Laewon Bridge in Hoi An. Unlike the business name on Google Maps, the sign says <CHAU Kitchen & Bar>. Although the interior is not completely sealed, it is not hot and comfortable, so it feels like you have been invited to an old Vietnamese house. All the food was neat and delicious. In particular, the juice was made by directly squeezing fresh fruit and it tasted good. The children were amazed that they were given old-fashioned bottled Coke. The chazo was crispy on the outside and the seafood was moist on the inside, but I dipped it in a unique sauce rather than Nuoc Mam sauce. Other than that, the Mi Quang was delicious, and the fried seafood noodles and fried rice were all good as well. Even though I ate 4 drinks and 4 meals, I only paid 410,000 dong, so the price is very affordable. Very satisfied. I was very disappointed when I went to a restaurant in Da Nang that is famous among Koreans, but the food here was quite good. Koreans, if you want to eat authentic Vietnamese food, go here instead of going to places that are only famous among Koreans. (I will update after my return visit. There are some differences depending on the menu.) I visited after watching Altanghyeong's YouTube channel, which was a great help when I visited Ho Chi Minh City. Mom also enjoys the food here. Wow what a very special restaurant this is. The atmosphere seated inside at breakfast is so peaceful and the magical dinners seated out near the beautifully lit pool is very romantic. We treasure each breakfast we have here. Not only is the food wonderfully fresh and delicious but the welcoming staff are more like family members to us. We love the fresh fruits, and selection of ever changing of local dishes which are explained with pride by the chefs. The salads, pastries, hot dishes and mouth watering fresh bread is always a highlight too. We also thoroughly enjoy our Vietnamese coffees and cappuccinos. Also the wonderful dinner buffets are a highlight. The Market Buffet enables diners to partake in all the local dishes which are beautifully presented and explained. The BBQ nights offer an amazing selection of meats and seafood with great accompanying sides. Fabulous desserts are always enjoyed. We sincerely thank all the amazing staff and chefs at L’annam Restaurant. Our favourite place to dine in Vietnam.

On par with the most enjoyable meals we shared during our travels in central Vietnam. A spotlessly clean restaurant, warmly hosted by a lovely family, in an off-the-beaten-path, less claustrophobic district, with a broad menu of regional dishes and a few comfort food options to scratch the itch of travelers. We asked what dishes they specialized in, ordered accordingly, and they didn’t disappoint. A nice complimentary plate of delicious, fresh, refreshing fruit too — and a bill that had us wondering if we’d been accidentally undercharged. We hadn’t! Great value! Easily recommendable and worthy of applause. Pop in if you’re nearby, or point your scooter that way if not, and venture out a little — you won’t be disappointed.

Its a beautiful, romantic, elegant and well setup place! When I first got there I was the only customer and for a while it was just me, but that didn't stop all 6 staff who were attending the buffet tables to keep preparing food, making Pho at my request, showing me the different kinds of food that were available and I stayed there for a while and I am glad I did! Very nice vegetarian restaurant in old town. The restaurant is in a small alley. Many dishes available. Local flavours: Cao Lao, my quang… and bun (or bum) - one of my favorite dishes (noodle soup with pineapple and skin tofu). You can also make your own plate with rice and choosing the ingredients that they have available in the counter downstairs at that moment. They have a space upstairs which is very nice. Decoration is like a traditional house. Business is family run. They do also have fresh coconut (coconut fruit).

After reading some reviews we decided to try this place. As soon as we arrived we were received by these sweet old ladies who run the business. They took us upstairs were its very private and with a cool different decoration. They have fans to keep you cool. The menu has many local food options, all looks good and cheap. We tried the Bun Chay and Pho Chay, very delicious, its like your grandma cooks for you. We were very glad to have decided to come and can easily reccomend this to any vegan out there.

Delicious vegan food! Must try their Cao Lau and My Quang. Also, their special noodles with peanut sauce are so yummy! Consider this restaurant if traveling with big group! They also offer a small bowl of Cao Lau with main menu for trying! Not sure if Cao Lau here is authentic! Anyway, I Can’t tell I like it after the try!

Located very near the ancient town of Hoi An. Chinese Vietnamese mix dishes available here. Quite a nice ambience and big enough for group with outdoor and indoor dining. Dishes are quite good.

Very touristy but good to do a lantern making class. Many shops were shut for Tet and restaurants looked like they openin the evening.

Buffet Nướng & Lẩu Mr BBQ Hội An offers a diverse selection of grilled and hotpot dishes that leave a lasting impression on visitors. Guests can indulge in meticulously prepared, delicious and high-quality meals crafted by experienced chefs. Additionally, the restaurant provides a wide range of flavors from European countries to ensure a satisfying dining experience for every palate. While some seafood options may be limited, the overall value for money is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff adding to the enjoyable atmosphere.
Lovely local buffet restaurant. Very tasty and fresh food to bbq, good price and awesome service.

Honestly it was one of the more disappointing meals I’ve had :( I really wish I liked it but I didn’t. The food they had like fried rice and seafood were all leftovers and nothing much was left when we went at 8+pm. We were served some buffet food on the racks but I think it was rather average. The only thing I enjoyed was the bamboo clams and sauces. At the very least the seafood and chicken was fresh. They also use charcoal to grill. So that is the plus point of this place.
Christine T — Google review
Had a nice lunch. They had small bread baguettes so I ended up making a mixed meat and vegetable sandwich.
Stuart N — Google review
Bad bad bad! This place had an enormous rat under the buffet table, where all the uncooked food was being served. We told the staff about the situation and they all laughed. We decided to leave and they still charged us the full price of the buffet (360.000 dong for 2 people). This was the worst meal and one of the most expensive we had in the past days in Hoi An. A joke!
Julia M — Google review
Get the fatty beef, it's divine. The seafood isn't the best, they are small scallops, oysters etc, but at the cheap price I don't mind at all. Great value for money, the staff were attentive and kind. Would highly recommend.
R. T — Google review
Food is tasteless, we were already unimpressed when we saw a rat just below the buffet! We told the staff but they didn't care. Not sure if this is just a cultural clash, but we find it hard to eat with a big rat so close to the food. We left in the middle after paying (the full bill BTW).

I had a group dinner here.It was having my food in an ÁC room, but the ÁC was so weak that it was not so comfy. The service was not so good as well. The space is very large and this place seems to be able to have 500+ people.

Embark on the Hoi An Street Food Tour, a delightful two-and-a-half-hour evening adventure that includes a beer or coffee, delectable local foods, and a captivating tour of the bustling night market. This small-group experience offers an opportunity to savor Hoi An's culinary staples such as banh mi Phuong and explore the vibrant array of street food offerings including fried banana, corn, sesame balls (banh cam), and satay.
Lucky, our tour guide, took us on a fantastic private tour of the streets of Hoi An. She gave us an insightful look into the lives and culture of the people and food of Hoi An. We went to places that we would never have known about without the tour. We didn't want to be a part of a large tour group, so the private tour was perfect for us and at a very reasonable price. Lucky also gave us tips about places to visit on our own in the days following which were fabulous. Booking Hoi An Street Food Tours is a must when visiting Hoi An! 10/10.

Lucky was such an amazing tour guide with a wealth of information. She was really great at speaking English and carrying a meaningful conversation with us the entire time. She had so much knowledge about the food and local history. We are so grateful to have had Lucky as our tour guide! We were also SO FULL after our tour, so make sure to go on an empty stomach!

If you stay at Little Riverside Hotel, don’t miss the chance to explore the nearby riverbank area — it’s quiet, local, and full of gentle charm. In the morning, you’ll see locals riding bicycles, vendors setting up, and the soft mist rising from the Thu Bon River. The pace is calm, almost meditative. You can walk along the narrow streets, spot elegant shop signs, and pass by cafés that haven’t opened yet — it feels like Hội An before the crowds. Tip: Wake up a little early, bring a camera, and just follow the river. No plan needed.

Got the chance to go on this food tour with Sam today. I’m so glad I did. It was just me and her. I can be a little shy but she made me feel comfortable. She is really nice and made sure I was safe while walking in these crazy streets. The food options were great and diverse. Personally my favorite was the chicken and rice (COM GA). And the Sesame soup. I was really impressed buy how much I liked it since I’m not much of a dessert person. I got to meet some of the local workers and joke around with them. Overall great experience. You should totally book this tour! 🩷

We had the best private walking street food tour with our guide, Lucky! We got to try about eight different dishes, and Lucky was able to cater to our needs and allergies of group members. We got to try a range of items including beverages, small plates, main dishes and dessert at high quality local restaurants and road side shops. Her knowledge as a Hoi An local meant she could answer any questions we had! & make sure you go on an empty stomach 😁

Sam Rocks! , Delicious food tour. Egg Coffee and the Banh Mi were my favorite. I found Sam on YouTube and she didn’t disappoint 😎We did the morning tour so we couldn’t dive in to the heavy duty food, and we were still full.

It was a great and delicious tour! We recommend you to do the food tour as soon as you arrive in Hoi An as you will learn a lot about living, life and food in Hoi An! Lucky is a great local guide with a lot of experience! It is very flexible to book the tour and allergies and specific food preferences are also taken care of during the tour!

(Translated by Google) It's the first time in my life that I've eaten a buffet that was this horrible. Little wear but the food is so rotten, the frogs are already sour, the shrimp are crumbly. Bad food from seasoning to freshness. Tickets of 180k really cost an average of 30k/person, with 2 people in a group of 6 not being able to eat anything. So disappointed. The restaurant owner should check the quality of the food, otherwise no one will dare to come back next time.

Hải Sản is a true paradise for seafood lovers, offering an ideal spot to gather with friends and indulge in delicious grilled dishes. This charming restaurant, conveniently located next to a hotel, provides not only mouthwatering food but also excellent service at reasonable prices. During my exploration of the local area, I stumbled upon this gem and was thrilled with my choice. I enjoyed two delightful variations of fried spring rolls for a light lunch that left me completely satisfied.
We found this place on a walk around of the local surrounds and glad that we did. Had two different variations of fried spring rolls for a light lunch and were very happy with them.
