We discovered this hole in the wall directly across the street from Hoian Central Hotel. We had the bbq chicken, sweet and sour duck and the spicy grilled beef. All delicious, great prices and nice portions and quick service. I recommend take-away, if it's a hot day.

Best place I’ve eaten in Vietnam. Tried some local food (Cao Lau) and a chicken curry for a VERY reasonable price. It was open late which was needed after we got off the bus. Made such a lovely change from pho and fried rice every day! Beautiful and delicious please go! They do bbq as well that looked amazing but we didn’t have.

A small family-run restaurant with surprisingly impressive food. We went there twice during our stay in Hoi An, first to try local specialities (bahn xeo and cao lau), then we tried their barbecue. They have a separate menu for barbecue: we chose pork ribs, frogs, and oysters. Everything tasted great each time, but especially oysters were mindblowing: seasoned with fried onion, chives and peanuts, they were cooking on the tabletop barbecue in a delicious sauce. Very friendly service as well. Highly recommended!

We ordered the sautéed shrimp with rice and the BBQ beef, and everything exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food expertly cooked, but the seasoning and side sauces—especially the spicy sauce with a refreshing twist that came with the beef—perfectly complemented each dish. For dessert, the pineapple pancake was the perfect finishing touch, like the cherry on top of a cake. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the prices were incredibly fair, offering exceptional value for such high-quality food. After few weeks of traveling and trying local food, this is hands down the best place we’ve eaten in Vietnam. I’d happily come back again and again, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Went for dinner buffet and everything from service to food to value was excellent. Love the beef and pork belly especially! There are so many options for the meat as well as carbs/soups/veg/side dishes. The variety of food offered is a big plus point and everything tasted so good, even a simple beef kimchi stew with eggy springy noodles. There were only two of us and because the portions are not big, we would try so many dishes :) In terms of service, the staff offers to change the hot plate very frequently so that the meat won’t be charred. Also it’s a charcoal grill!

We had their buffet for 289,000 VND. The food selection was quite limited. They even brought the pork to the table while they were still frozen. Most of the dishes (clamp soup, mixed rice, noodles) did not taste good. It does not convince me for another try.

Yeah this place is the bomb. Tad pricey at minimum 250k per person + drinks but we went back twice. Good cuts of meat that never stop coming unless you ask. Plenty of different side dishes and the steamed egg is delicious, sushi is nice, fresh kimchi and a few other side dishes. They have more expensive banquet options but we passed. Seems to get super busy so they are doing something right.

Came at 1930 expecting an all you can eat experience. Got there and was very very unimpressed. All the food was basically gone, waited for it to be refilled however was told that whatever is left is what you get. Afterwards I went home with food poisoning. The workers tried to accommodate with what they had but it was not a pleasant experience.

I went there on a Friday evening. The place was empty so I was the only one, but they kept the entire belt moving and the employees were super attentive. We came early after our daytrip so there weren't a lot of people, but the place is really nice. The people were very kind and helped us with some questions we had. We had a small hotpot for 2 people and some bbq dishes (oysters with scallion sauce and goat) and deepfried crab balls. Everything was seriously delicious. We got beer in ice cold metal bottles of 1 litre which were really nice! Saved it to come back to when I'm around the Hoi Am area in the future.

Amazing meal!!! We had the most incredible lobster here, with a delicious selection of sides - crunchy cucumber, oozy aubergine and bread with the most delicious flavoured butter! This is so much better value than some of the more expensive seafood restaurants, with no compromise on the taste! The service was lovely, and we were offered free top ups of our sides. My husband and I love our food, and this was one of the best meals we’ve had!

At the very end of the walk way past the night market stands a very proud man at the grill, a quiet smile on his face as his wife yells at him to keep grilling. She is the boss, he is the pit master, their two daughters run drinks in their little bike baskets. This man knows his seafood. The lobster smells of the ocean, cooked so perfectly that the juice retains in the shell like a soup. The eggplant side dish with the crisp bread covered in chilli oil is ALMOST better than the lobster. You sit at a plastic table, watching their beautiful little family make a living next to the pier. They are kind, wonderful people.

I had an amazing experience at this Greek restaurant in Hoi An, Vietnam! I was extremely impressed with the food — we ordered five different dishes and every single one was delicious and full of authentic Greek flavor. Our meal at MIX was delicious. They have a variety of options with real Greek flavors. When you walk through the entrance into the back, you are transported to another country. The decor with outside seating and the music was wonderful and very romantic. But it can definitely accommodate large groups and they have a separate indoor seating area with A/C. We really enjoyed our meal and recommend MIX when you’re looking for something a little different in Hoi An.

Great little Greek spot in hoi an old town area. And they got a big air conditioned room inside, we came for lunch and to beat the heat, the restaurant was empty. The decor and vibe is nice and quite a big space outdoors. Got a souvlaki and a moussaka. My souvlaki was good, I do prefer tzatziki over their yellow sauce though, and some more fillings but overall a decent souv and moussaka was yummy. They also gave complementary dessert a banana pudding. Definitely recommend the food here if you’re craving Greek food 🇬🇷 in 🇻🇳

Arrived hotel in late evening, this restaurant just beside hotel. So, take a quick dinner. Taste is normal for fired rice and noodle. We had not take the seafood. Anyway, it is quite hot as there is no aircon only big fans.

Excellent seafood meal on the beach, grilled prawns were delicious as were cockles and spring rolls. Cocktails were around AU$ 3.70 each… so we downed seven or eight! Total was less than AU$60 for everything for both of us. You can barely get a round of cocktails for that back in Oz.

The seafood here is absolutely amazing! Having travelled round the world, this is hands down the best seafood meal we have ever had. All the seafood (grouper fish, oysters, squids, tiger prawns) were super fresh and all the dishes were cooked so nicely and preserved the freshness of the seafood. The oyster with the homemade Thai Chilli sauce was absolutely to die for - a must try! The family running the restaurant was also super friendly.

We spent 8 nights at the Victorian Hoi An Resort and were treated to amazing buffet breakfasts each day. There is a wide array of options which was all fantastic. The restaurant also cater for lunch, dinner and snacks. Our kids can be fussy eaters but they enjoyed just about everything available. They especially looked forward to treats by the pool. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. We truely enjoyed our time here and highly recommend.

On par with the most enjoyable meals we shared during our travels in central Vietnam. A spotlessly clean restaurant, warmly hosted by a lovely family, in an off-the-beaten-path, less claustrophobic district, with a broad menu of regional dishes and a few comfort food options to scratch the itch of travelers. We asked what dishes they specialized in, ordered accordingly, and they didn’t disappoint. A nice complimentary plate of delicious, fresh, refreshing fruit too — and a bill that had us wondering if we’d been accidentally undercharged. We hadn’t! Great value! Easily recommendable and worthy of applause. Pop in if you’re nearby, or point your scooter that way if not, and venture out a little — you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed at Victoria Hoi An Resort (family of four) and loved this restaurant! The staff were friendly, helpful and anticipated our needs. The food was absolutely lovely and there was a good variety of cuisines.

If there were more stars I would give them more. Cuc took care of us like she is our family member .. she makes amazing coffee on request and ensures your are fed well. Resort has amazing vibes, even all the other guests were really good and polite. The pool is the heart of the restaurant and we loved sitting there after a busy day in the city . I will surely recomend to all my frnds and going to come back for sure . Thank you

We ate dinner here when we were in walking street in hoi an and our kids were so hungry. I checked the reviews but I saw the wrong restaurant divine crepe at the same address. The foods were so disappointing. The chicken rice was dry and too salty. My dish which is banh uot was so dry and tastes like nothing. I feel ashamed when I thought that all Vietnamese can cook.

The food was delicious!! The girls cooked it in front of me. The noddles with a shrimp, and pork cost 50k and it’s worthy this price, not much protein, but enjoyable. The waiter, Ixuan, was great, she is very nice, lovely and attentive. I will definitely come back!

Had the Cao Lau noodles and Bong Hong Trang White Rose (both Hoi An specialties) for dinner. Very tasty! Service was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Portions were small though.

Its a beautiful, romantic, elegant and well setup place! When I first got there I was the only customer and for a while it was just me, but that didn't stop all 6 staff who were attending the buffet tables to keep preparing food, making Pho at my request, showing me the different kinds of food that were available and I stayed there for a while and I am glad I did! Sure, the price is not cheap in Vietnamese comparison but if you need a break from the street food and treat yourself to a quiet, beautiful evening of assorted food, this is the place to be!

Came across this restaurant last night for dinner with my boyfriend and it was amazing! Firstly the value for money is incredible and the food is delicious. We tried a few starters and had a main each and ate everything. The dishes average at 50k which is extremely reasonable, if we weren’t leaving Hoi An I’d be eating here every night!

Very nice vegetarian restaurant in old town. The restaurant is in a small alley. Many dishes available. Local flavours: Cao Lao, my quang… and bun (or bum) - one of my favorite dishes (noodle soup with pineapple and skin tofu). You can also make your own plate with rice and choosing the ingredients that they have available in the counter downstairs at that moment. They have a space upstairs which is very nice. Decoration is like a traditional house. Business is family run. They do also have fresh coconut (coconut fruit).

After reading some reviews we decided to try this place. As soon as we arrived we were received by these sweet old ladies who run the business. They took us upstairs were its very private and with a cool different decoration. They have fans to keep you cool. The menu has many local food options, all looks good and cheap. We tried the Bun Chay and Pho Chay, very delicious, its like your grandma cooks for you. We were very glad to have decided to come and can easily reccomend this to any vegan out there.

Delicious vegan food! Must try their Cao Lau and My Quang. Also, their special noodles with peanut sauce are so yummy! Everything is fresh and homemade, no preservatives, they can accommodate requests for gluten free, coriander free, etc. They have a nice terrace upstairs, very peaceful. Highly recommend it!

We went here for dinner and we both had a soup based dish, pho and sup cay and they were both delicious, even with 40° outside. We really felt at grandma's house and we recommend this place to any vegan!

The food was fantastic and so were their fruit juices! My friend and I gobbled down our food it was so good. The Mango/ papaya salad with passion fruit dressing was incredible and I had the Dam house special noodles with peanut sauce. Incredibly wholesome and delicious food. 10/10 recommend and would come here again if I can back to Hoi An!

Stumbled across this little vegan gem while wandering through Old Town, and I’m glad I did. The Mi Quang was every bit as good as the best I’ve had elsewhere—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I’d happily eat here again.

Honestly it was one of the more disappointing meals I’ve had :( I really wish I liked it but I didn’t. The food they had like fried rice and seafood were all leftovers and nothing much was left when we went at 8+pm. We were served some buffet food on the racks but I think it was rather average. The only thing I enjoyed was the bamboo clams and sauces. At the very least the seafood and chicken was fresh. They also use charcoal to grill. So that is the plus point of this place.

Had a nice lunch. They had small bread baguettes so I ended up making a mixed meat and vegetable sandwich.

Bad bad bad! This place had an enormous rat under the buffet table, where all the uncooked food was being served. We told the staff about the situation and they all laughed. We decided to leave and they still charged us the full price of the buffet (360.000 dong for 2 people). This was the worst meal and one of the most expensive we had in the past days in Hoi An. Get the fatty beef, it's divine. The seafood isn't the best, they are small scallops, oysters etc, but at the cheap price I don't mind at all. Great value for money, the staff were attentive and kind. Would highly recommend.

Food is tasteless, we were already unimpressed when we saw a rat just below the buffet! We told the staff but they didn't care. Not sure if this is just a cultural clash, but we find it hard to eat with a big rat so close to the food. We left in the middle after paying (the full bill BTW).

If you stay at Little Riverside Hotel, don’t miss the chance to explore the nearby riverbank area — it’s quiet, local, and full of gentle charm. We had the best private walking street food tour with our guide, Lucky! We got to try about eight different dishes, and Lucky was able to cater to our needs and allergies of group members. We got to try a range of items including beverages, small plates, main dishes and dessert at high quality local restaurants and road side shops. Her knowledge as a Hoi An local meant she could answer any questions we had! & make sure you go on an empty stomach 😁
