Ice cream shop
If you find yourself in Anchorage, Alaska, make sure to stop by WooHoo! Ice Cream, a charming little shop that has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 2017. This husband-and-wife-run establishment is known for its unique and intriguing ice cream flavors that go beyond the ordinary. From rich cappuccino and creamy Nutella to fragrant Earl Grey and exotic Thai tea, there's something to tantalize every palate.
Best ice cream I've ever had, the scoops are very generous so I like to get 2 kid scoops so I can try out more flavours. The cookies and cream is fantastic, and I don't even like oreos normally. Thai tea is amazing, maple butter pecan is a dream. Macadamia white chocolate is also delicious. I'm sure everything else is too. It's just hard not to go there every day. 😝

I heard this place slaps so I came in to try some hard scoop ice cream, I'd def go here over like cold stone or Baskin robins bc the price was good. I got butter peacan, was delicious really. I only ranking it 4 stars because they were out of cones and that seems odd to me idk. Also the earl grey which I was actually hyped about when I saw it, was very earl grey flavored but somehow not tasty. I'll probably come back by sometimes and give it a different rating. Also to whoever broke the window here wth so wrong.

Sooo good! Almost all the ice cream is made with simple ingredients and sweetened with Honey. We tried Nutella, cookie butter, Cappuccino and macadamia. Nutella and cookie butter were my favorite. Will be back for more!!

Here on a date with my lovely wife. First time here. I expected just normal ice cream but wow, I can honestly say, this is some of the best ice cream I have tasted. I got the summer construction, a version of my favorite, Rocky Road, it was amazing, creamy, and delicious. Great ambience where we could talk an just be. We will be back! Thanks
Dennis T — Google review
The ice creams are yummy and the staff are great! The Thai tea flavor is great.

We loved WooHoo on our stop in Anchorage! Great flavors, we had cookies & cream, silky chocolate, Nutella and macadamia. Everything was amazing and the shop felt local and homey!
Becah F — Google review
We had a bad experience. We were excited to try the flavors but, didn't know there was a minimum of 3 flavors you can try. I wanted to try two more flavors but, couldnt so I just picked one, mint chocolate chip. My husband got upset and walked out right away. I went to pay and the ice cream guy was like, "are you going to pay for him too?" I was like, "he didn't get anything." He said "but, are you paying for him too?" I said, "he doesn't want ice cream anymore." I always eat my food, hate to waist but, I picked a flavor I didn't try, the mint in the mint chocolate chip was too much. The little bit of chocolate was good but, I turned around and threw my cup away. What a ruined experience. To top it off, the bottom of my daughter's cup was broken and it got chocolate ice cream all over her pants.

Super cute shop...lots of homemade ice-cream! Super tasty and soooo creamy....sooo good we forgot to get pics....we ate it all. The chocolate and cappuccino flavors.

Ice cream shop
Wild Scoops is a beloved ice cream shop in Downtown Anchorage that has gained a devoted following since its opening in 2015. The menu features inventive and seasonal flavors, often incorporating local Alaskan ingredients such as spruce tips, rhubarb, coffee, and beer from nearby roasters and brewers. The shop offers a variety of frozen treats including cups, cones, pints, and ice cream sandwiches.
I saw some people walking around with these cones that looked and smelled delicious so I had to try one. I had the Baked Alaska (flamed marshmallow flush) on chocolate ice cream and it was amazing. The waffle cone was perfect too, it’s delicate and crispy and has a great flavor. I might have to go again tomorrow for seconds.
Marta T — Google review
Literally so good! I was in Alaska for 5 days. And came here 3 times and tried 4 of the flavors. The Sitka swirl was definitly best paired with the baked Alaska cone. But the rhubarb crumble was soooo good also! Just not AS good with the baked Alaska.

While visiting my grandson in Anchorage we went to wild scoops a couple of times (it's his favorite ice cream shop) and it was fun and yummy. I did try to find out about ordering ice cream to be shipped and if they have r shirts to buy but I haven't heard back yet. It's a terrific place you won't be disappointed

We went there twice! I had the blueberry both times! It was amazing! Best homemade ice cream ever! Service was great too!

I usually post a picture but this was so good I didn’t have time. AMAZING iced cream. I had 2 scoops in a cup of vanilla beam and my wife had some gluten free options.

Awesome ice cream. Rhubarb was super duper. Wild blueberry was fantastic.
James Q — Google review
Stopped by for a quick dessert after having dinner. There were about 10 people in line down the sidewalk, but was up to the front within 5 minutes as they were very efficient with a simplified menu and ordering process. The sign out front explains the simple process of picking your flavor, size, and vessel. There were about 10 flavors to choose from, 3 sizes, 1 cup or 3 cones for the vessel. Ordered 3 single scoops in cones with 1 having the toasted marshmallow on top. Ice cream was very good as it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. Tasted just like homemade ice cream. There's no inside sitting area, so most just stand on the sidewalk and eat their ice cream. I wanted to come back on another day as it was that good, but ran out of time.
LeWayne B — Google review
Local ice cream? Yes, please. Add in local flavors like Fireweed? Oh, we're in! We enjoyed our one stop at Wild Scoops during our few nights in Anchorage. My wife and I shared a small with Fireweed and Rhubarb Crumble. We hadn't seen these flavors anywhere else in the world at an ice cream shop so it was a delight to experience them. The fireweed was a unique Alaska-only flavor and the rhubarb crumble (our favorite of the two) was an indulgent treat! There are a number of other treats to try besides their daily flavors in cups or cones including sampler flights, "frozen nachos", and a Baked Alaska! Every time we walked by there was a line of varying lengths but it went fairly quickly so don't get turned off by that. It's a window front establishment so the line and service is on the street. They're open every day 12 noon to 10pm.

Moose A'La Mode is a newly improved restaurant with a robust menu offering a variety of tasty options, including fresh ready-to-go meals and an extensive salad bar. The place has turned around under new ownership, now serving delicious paninis and an array of freshly baked scones and muffins. Customers rave about the breakfast burrito, backcountry burrito, and Brockstar Burger with fries. The friendly staff provides quick service with a smile.
I walked throughout downtown anchorage looking for a breakfast place . I finally found Moose A la Mode. Fabulous find. Very helpful staff. Coconut green tea was worth the taste. Thank you Chloe for the recommendation . A must try restaurant
David H — Google review
This was my first time visiting Moose A'La Mode in Anchorage, Alaska, and I found this cafe simply by searching on Google for a top recommendation. Upon entering the cafe, you see a large menu of items. I wanted to try reindeer sausage for the first time as it is popular in Alaska, and opted to try it in the Denali Burrito. I also ordered a latte with a peanut butter flavour shot. Overall, the portion size of the burrito was good and actually rather large, as the pricing was a little on the expensive side for a burrito which came with nothing on the side. I did not enjoy the burrito and only had less than half of it, I found it to be greasy and quite salty, with no special flavour or wow factor. The latte was also okay, nothing special that was a must try at this cafe. The service was great though. The atmosphere of the cafe could definitely use some work in terms of cleanliness and keeping things tidy and appealing for customers dining in. Thanks
Melody — Google review
Came here for breakfast. Ordered the omlette with raindeer sausage. It was was delicious though a bit too salty. Also ordered Breve. The beans certainly were burned and the coffee tasted burned. The service was fantastic. The place has ok ambiance but needs a good cleaning, tidying up, and renovation. Decent street parking around.
Mehran I — Google review
I ordered the jalapeño popper panini, and it was delicious. The sandwich has bacon, pickled jalapeños, tomatoes, and pepper jack and cream cheeses. It tasted great, the service was friendly, and I spent less than $20 for a filling meal. I'll be back again!
Ted A — Google review
Okay… the pancakes were delicious! Five stars! Very fluffy, yet moist, flavorful and buttery. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I would have taken a star away for the bacon, but the pancakes overshadowed it. The bacon wasn’t fresh at all but that didn’t bother me too much as I don’t eat bacon often. Other than that, everything else was GREAT and inexpensive.
Corey S — Google review
Saw a Facebook post about the new and improved restaurant. Thought I'd stop in to see how their breakfast burritos were. I was not disappointed. Decent size and full of flavor. Their menu is pretty robust. A little bit of everything. If all looks tasty. The have a lot of fresh looking ready to go meals. I'd recommend this place to a friend. I definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I have finally made it to the Moose!! A’La Mode!! OH and I regret not making it sooner Don't make the same mistake I did, lots of option including fresh salad bar and extended hours and delivery available through 3rd party apps It's worth that too!! I had the Brockstar Burger with fries Absolutely delicious and spicy enough for most As with Marty I prefer the extra heat!! Get down there and try them out!!

This place blew me away!! I am quite the breakfast burrito connoisseur and the backcountry burrito blew my mind! Bacon, egg, cheese, and reindeer sausage gravy was delicious and very satisfying. Service here was also incredible and the workers were very friendly! They even had a vegetarian option for my fiancé. Don’t walk. Run here!

Located in Girdwood, Alaska, The Ice Cream Shop is a delightful spot to satisfy your sweet tooth after enjoying a savory meal at Coast Pizza. This charming shop offers an array of homemade Alaskan ice cream flavors, including the popular Alaska Wildberry and unique options like Fireweed and Honey. With over 30 flavors available, including locally made, vegan, and no sugar added varieties, there's something for everyone.
Friend recommended this place and the fireweed + honey and banana cream pie or anything with berries were our favorites. Definitely on the pricey end though

This is a great place for ice cream, but I was a bit turned off by the prices which seemed high. They also have to make an effort to stop people from using the bathroom and not buying anything, which is unfortunate. I don’t know how they can do that any more politely, but it adds a weird vibe. That said, the ice cream is good and the young staff is nice. VictorB
Victor B — Google review
Stopped by for an evening dessert after dinner. There were about 5 people in line, but it was moving quickly. There were a couple of employees who were efficiently serving everyone in line. There were probably 30-35 flavors on the menu with some being locally made, Vegan, and no sugar added. With the ice cream, you can have it in a cone, cup, milkshake, malt, smoothie, or a sundae. You're able to pick a flavor for each scoop. Ordered a double scoop and they were nice enough to ask which scoop I wanted on the bottom. Ice cream was very good as it was soft, smooth, and creamy. There's limited seating inside, so most sat outside on the brick planters. Good ice cream served by friendly and efficient staff.
LeWayne B — Google review
They have a great selection of coffee, tea, etc.

My family and I stopped by Girdwood to enjoy the adjacent Coast Pizza and I dropped into this ice cream shop to see if any of their flavors caught my eye.. One stood out, Espresso Explosion, featuring espresso ice cream and espresso bean chocolate flakes.. I ordered a child's sized scoop and it was the perfect portion for the occasion.. This ice cream had a nice balance of espresso flavor and cream as one might expect from a specialty ice cream.. It was just the right amount of sweet without being too rich or overbearing.. The staff was friendly, the store was clean, and I would score this visit as a win!! I would definitely return if ever passing through the Girdwood area in the future..

We tried their fireweed and honey, caramel carabu, strawberry and rainbow cake flavours. All flavours were amazing. Must visit if you love trying local ice cream flavours.

Tastee Freez is a delightful fast-food chain that has been serving up delicious frozen treats since 1957. Known for its nostalgic charm, this eatery offers a menu filled with classic American fare, including mouthwatering burgers, hot dogs, and sides that perfectly complement their signature desserts. The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for casual dining or grabbing a sweet treat after a meal.
We traveled all the way from Dallas, GA and went to Tastee Freez. This restaurant was talked about all week while we help improve the looked and roof of The Crossing at Sandlake Church in Anchorage. When we finally had time to go, it did not disappoint!
John M — Google review
We got waited on right away and then waited and waited. We ordered 2 ice creams. People came after us, got their ice creams and left. After going up to inquire, I was told they were working on it. Meanwhile, other ice creams were coming out, but not ours. I heard a young man tell the girl up front that the sundaes were in the freezer. So this was something that could have immediately received, instead of waiting 15-20 minutes. The only reason we got our order when we did, was I my inquiry. Very definitely not impressed and very disappointed. I enjoy leaving favorable reviews, but was not able to this time. I have no plans to go back. There was one young man who was helpful when I went forward to inquire. He was tall with dark eyes and dark curly hair, unfortunately I did not get his name. He asked me if I was waiting on my order. He was the one positive element. My son was not crazy about the nuts on his Marshmallow Sundae. He said he was glad he didn’t have a nut allergy. It was the first time he had ordered the Marshmallow Sundae, so was the expectations did not match reality.

My Uber driver actually recommended this place because I was planning to go to Kincaid Park, and she said she always ate here before going and loves the corn fritters so I decided to try them out. Maybe it was what I ordered, but my salmon burger was okay. It was kind of dry and didn’t have that much flavor. I added mayo and wished I had Tony’s but didn’t. The price for the burger is very reasonable so you can’t beat that. I did order the corn fritters like my Uber driver suggested and they were awesome!!!! I would return just for those and to try a shake since I didn’t this time.

Sad went in today 5:30, very slow, had 4-5 people up front, looked at the menu and made decision, waited for a while before anyone came to the cash register to take order, the machines now have screens towards guest, so I started to figure out if it’s a self order station, then a girl with curly hair and heavy / sharp eye makeup walks up did say hi or anything and stares at me and my wife, so I guess we order then I said, and the whole order taking the girl did not say one word, I felt if you hate your job don’t project that on the guests, completely understand that it might be first job but was shocked on the service today 😞 it is our last visit due to moving state and hoping the food will be better last experience, went to Dimond High and always love to support this establishment
Shawn M — Google review
So I've always gone here as a treat, so i dont go often enough. I also thought it was a local joint and not a franchise. They're very proud of being an alaskan tastee freez and got cool merch, too. What i can say about the food is that it is always good and the ice cream is delicious. I always go for a dipped cone (i miss the fun flavors like bubblegum). They occasionally have different flavors of ice cream, aside from the normal chocolate and vanilla. This time, they had coffee and dole orange cream. My wife had the coffee, and my daughter got the dole. Coffee was really strong, like you were eating the bean. The dole orange cream with cherry dip tasted like hi-c! I always go for a burger, and my kids like the nuggets and hot dogs. It's not the best, but its worth getting since their prices are still reasonable. It's definitely worth going, and careful with what size ice cream cone you get! 😂 (oh, and, pic is after we ate. Gotta eat that ice cream before it starts melting)
Charles O — Google review
Great old time soft serve and dinner food. Locally owned and staffed by teens who do a great job. Big servings of great, greasy, hot food--very good french fries. The sundaes are sublime. Nice place, just like old days.
Gerald T — Google review
Yes, we live in a day and age where online ordering has become a norm, but I for one still like to place an order over the phone from time to time. I've seen how busy y'all get, so whoever the brave soul was that picked up the phone and took my order today, your patience and etiquette is to be commended for sure. Not a single flaw on the food or the customer service today, or any prior visit. To put it simply, y'all rock.
Mike E — Google review
If you are looking for a fast food chain that has been around for a very long time, but where this franchise location feels more like a local diner that has good food, including tasty burgers and sandwiches and fries like curly and tots, and this one also has a huge array of ice cream presentations, including malts and shakes and freezees, all of it at a somewhat elevated price, then you have found it at Tastee Freez on Jewel Lake in Anchorage, Alaska. The ice cream is very high quality and the burgers are made very well, and the fries are excellent. This staff is cheerful and mostly competent. The prices, as with everywhere, are too high.

Yogurt Lounge in Anchorage offers a clean and well-stocked topping bar with a variety of fruits, cereals, candies, cookies, and even cheesecake bites. The yogurt is priced by weight and filling a 2-cup bowl usually costs around $10 per person. Despite the slightly higher prices, visitors praise the delicious yogurt and friendly staff. Customers also appreciate the availability of samples and packaged flavors in the fridge.

♿ accessible. This place has the cleanest topping bar that I have seen in Anchorage. I should have taken a photo of it... it was beautiful with fruits and cereal and candy and cookie like topping as well as a few other items like cheesecake bites. Nummy nummy. The product is charged by total weight and to get like a 2 cup size bowl filled × 2 people will generally add up to approximately $10.00 dollars per person. 🤯🥶 . Tis a bit pricey but ya get what ya pay for. 🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑 stop right there! Words of advice... please don't fill your bowl passed the ⅔ or 65% mark if you are going to add toppings. You will have a mess going on the counter and the floor and potentially your car or truck if you do so. Leave room for the toppings and realize that the more you add the more its gonna cost. We really Do Not need that must in the first place but to each their own. Oh and by the way..... it is a soft serve system where you fill the cup yourself. NOTE: IF this review was helpful please say so and "like" the review. Doing so helps my "Local Google Guide" ratings. I put time into making these honest reviews to help others to make decisions for their dining adventures. And to help the handicapped ♿ also. Thanks.

Their lack of transparent pricing is unethical. They have fine yogurt and fresh toppings, but they don’t list their prices. I’m guessing this is to capitalize on Southside demographics that don’t seem to care about it. Their price is flat for yogurt alone but by weight if you select ANY toppings. And that’s how I spent $6 on four blueberries. That was the difference in price I paid because their prices were not posted. I asked the young man behind to counter (completely oblivious to the fact that unlisted prices are a bad business practice) to see about posting prices and a month later there still no posted prices.

Damn good! Husband got a s’mores ice cream mix and a snickerdoodle ice cream mix. He enjoyed it! The shift lead was great! Service was quick! We will be back!

The ice cream is good! Lots of options too and I LOVE dipped cones- but the toppings were as HARD AS A ROCK. when I ordered my ice cream I asked for brownie to be added- I thought it was the brownie in the window- instead they gave me brownie bites I guess- but they were HARD hard- like big thick frozen chocolate bites that I couldn't bite through. My daughters Twix bars were also horribly hard. And the kit-kats. She tossed half of it. When I called to ask the restaurant if they froze the candy- and wondering why it was hard- the guy treated me like I was dumb. He said the candy is hard because it's a candy bar... that's very insulting. He said it can get hard from being in the cold ice cream... our ice cream was melting, so that was not it. When I told him it was weird... we sat on the phone a few seconds in silence. Then he told me thanks for letting him know.

We got 2 smoothies and one strawberry shortcake Sunday. Great taste, especially the Sunday! The service was quick even though there was a line. Too bad there isn't really seating. You'll have to get it to go.
Beverlee P — Google review
WAAYY better than Cold Stone. The ice cream is "real". Cold stone ice cream stays thick even after it melts, it must have some serious oil/fillers in it for it to have that consistency. Marble slab on the otherhand, melts fast, and becomes a milky liquid. It feels much *healthier* so to speak. And mix ins are free! You aren't charged by weight, but by cup size. The employees I've encountered are always friendly and helpful. My go to ice cream spot.
Noah D — Google review
Stick to the ice cream if you come here. We bought a small ice cream cake not knowing it would be $42.95 😂 that was our first mistake. Still, we thought it would be good but it tasted old 😞 I asked the kids if they liked it and after a couple of bites, it all went to trash. Next time, we’ll just go for the ice cream and not the cakes ❌❌

Went there the other day. Emily was so helpful and courteous. Worked with me while I was indecisive about what to get. Very knowledgeable. I will return because of her amazing service.

Love this little icecream shop! It's so creamy and delicious. Conveniently located in the army shopping center right outside the base gate. They also offer cakes and icecram cupcakes as well. Military discount but ONLY on wendsdays which should be changed to daily.
Candace M — Google review
From the website i thought they make their own flavored batches of icecream but This is basically just a coldstone. They mix in different things into the plain icecream in front of you. It was a little confusing to understand. Noone explains how it works. There should be a sign or something to explain the steps. There was a man that was going around in the back just lifting up the ice cream sections and stirring and moving stuff around. I wasnt sure if he was a customer or manager or owner, he just looked like a regular person back there touching things after walking in off the street. He didn't have a marble slab shirt or anything on. Or a nametag. I thought it was weird he was just messing w the food and things without washing his hands or anything or putting on gloves. I was standing right there with the employee trying to order my I've cream and he was just coming around lifting up dipping in stuff. He didn't say anything or apologize or anything. The process of getting ice cream here is too confusing for me and if they're not making their own flavors the way it seems on the website then i don't see the point of going through all that extra work just for a taste you cant guarantee. I got the strawberry cheesecake and it was supposedly cheesecake flavored ice cream but it didn't have much flavor or sugar and then the strawberries were frozen so it was a little awkward to eat biting into large frozen strawberries and then the cheesecake crust part was just animal crackers so it did not that brown sugar graham cracker crust like you usually would have in a strawberry cheesecake ice cream when I looked on the website it looked like the strawberry cheesecake ice cream was already combined and have the graham cracker crust swirls I think I will just stick with the store brand or Baskin Robbins. When you say strawberry cheesecake theres a whole taste with that we imagine. This seems more like a low calorie low sugar type place which i do not prefer in my ice cream.

Motley Moo Creamery is a locally-owned ice cream parlor that prides itself on using ingredients sourced from local distributors. Despite being busy, the customer service was excellent, with staff taking the time to describe flavors and educate about their products. The ice cream offerings are diverse, including unique flavors like Fireball Whiskey and Pumpkin Pie. Additionally, Motley Moo Creamery gives back to the local community through a portion of its proceeds.
This was our last stop before we got on the plane to head home and it definitely hit the spot. The two ladies that were working were super friendly, the shop was very clean. There was a decent amount of flavors and there was something there for everyone. The flavor, creaminess of the ice cream and the amount that you got was well worth the price. I got the three scoops, and it was actually quite a bit of ice cream. Jolene was my favorite flavor! A lot of people recommended wild scoops ice cream to me, and didn’t think the hype was worth it. Motley Moos ice cream is SO much better than theirs. Glad we were able to stop here to complete our trip in Alaska.

This creamery is a must visit if you're looking for local, authentic ice cream. The staff are very kind, the location is easily accessible, and the interior setting is welcoming. They offer a wide variety of flavors, a lot of which are inspired by Alaskan elements. These flavors rotate, so you're always pleasantly surprised when you come by for a refreshing treat. The ice cream is also affordable and, most of all, DELICIOUS! Support local!

First time at Motley Moo Creamery and I’m officially obsessed! The ice cream was absolutely amazing 😍—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can tell they put real care into what they make. The service was just as sweet as the treats. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful—making the whole experience feel fun and welcoming. They even made my day by giving my bloodhound her very own pup cup 🐾💛. That little touch showed just how thoughtful they are toward every customer, human or furry. It’s such a cheerful place with great energy, and the people truly make it special. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors (and I think my dog will insist we return too). Highly recommend!

Good ice cream. Terrible service. Nobody at the counter when we arrived. My sister stood around for a couple minutes assuming they would come out of the back, but finally walked out. I said I would call the store, and only then did someone meander out of the kitchen to take her order.

The best homemade ice cream in Anchorage! High quality ingredients, flavorful, creamy, and nice staff. The waffle cones are a MUST! Buttery and crispy. So good!

The ice cream tasted so good. They have some interesting and unique flavors. It was nice treat to have on a hot sunny day. The place is tiny but you can also sit outside. They also have a punch card if you like to visit often.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is a cheerful self-serve chain offering a wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings, sold by weight. The cozy atmosphere includes a small seating area with glass walls and an electric fireplace for warmth. The place is known for its cleanliness and friendly staff, offering both dairy and non-dairy options. Customers appreciate the delicious frozen yogurt, diverse flavor selection, and reasonable prices. It's also considered kid-friendly with low-carb options available.
A Wonderful Couple we are Blessed to have known as Friends for decades found this little place and treated us to it. We liked it very much indeed. They have a little area large enough for two nice sized tables and chairs, enclosed in glass so you can see outside and the entryway. One wall has an electric fireplace that the lady who was running the show turned on, with the heating element on low, to keep our wife's warm and cozy...that was very nice indeed. Huge choices of combinations of yogurts and goodies to embellish your individual creations. Waffle cones, with or without chocolate dipping, are just one of the options and sizes. You are charged by weight, not the cup size, which is an excellent idea. Great Product. Excellent Staff. Everything was clean. All in All...Very Nice Indeed.

Brick and Anastasia are the most kind workers i have ever been around in my entire life. They come to work with a ready to get it done attitude and always deliver. Their wages should be at least doubled because they made my day. They even played my favorite baby kia song! Food was great, would come back!

Just a Psa they DO charge by weight which literally feels like robbery. I didnt even fill my cup all the way up from the machines, maybe 3/4 the way and didnt pack the yogurt down- got ONE topping and my total was $12! Thats high!!! There's another local frozen yogurt shop that only charges $7 for a cup and you can fill it as high as you want with as many toppings as you'd like. Thats where I would go. Overall the place was alright besides pricing- floor was super sticky. I will say I got there at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and by 6:45 they had the bathrooms closed even though they dont actually close until 8 so found that strange & off putting.

lots of different flavors and toppings. Placed seemed very clean. Place to sit. Didn't use restroom. Unsure if they had bigger sizes but I did see they had cups. I wish I asked more about the cups. To pay, they weigh out your dessert. The frozen yogurt was delicious. Some flavors I've never heard of. The staff was really nice. They also had non dairy options which was nice. I got a bunch of different flavors Fruit punch sorbert Coconut Raspberry pomegranate Strawberry Pineapple With spinkles and a little drizzle of their reeces peanut butter topping

Apparently the Açaí bowl they advertise all over their walls are only for DoorDash? Make it make sense. I would prefer if an owner/manager responded to this. Thank you. Customers rave about the customizable acai bowls that are always fresh and delicious. The elote is also highly praised for its top-tier quality. The friendly staff and warm customer service add to the inviting atmosphere of this kid-friendly establishment.
I found this place's facebook page while we were driving home from our wedding in Seward and cried laughing over their posts most of the way home. forced my husband to drive me across anchorage today just to try them out because of their socials. The service was great, the staff was pretty and so nice, and the food was excellent. We got an acai bowl & elote. Owner's social media is 5000/10 and she's so unhinged, I want to be her friend, but I'm awkward so instead I'll just laugh at her posts and eat her food.

Boba drinks are my favorite and they have Vietnamese coffee with boba. That's a win for me! I tried the traditional elotes but wasn't a fan. The Cheetos elotes, my husband and daughter liked.

I absolutely adore everything I've tried at Soyo! It's very clear the owner Kelly puts tons consideration, hard work, and love into each product on their spectacular menu! I brought my coworkers after our shift to get some well-deserved snacks most recently, and not only was everything made to perfection and so, so delicious, the customer service was warm, welcoming, and very friendly! I LOVE the ube milk tea, the toppings bar has some of the best variety I've ever seen in a froyo shop, and the elotes are divine! The shop is very clean and tidy, and I love that masks are required. Kelly is amazing, and kills it every single day. 💖

I seen the nice pic they posted on their website, it’s a lie. They don’t sell ice cream or cones. When I went there w/ my child a lady working the front was very stand off ish when it came to letting my child taste the yogurt before purchasing, I ask for 2 small cups, she only have us 1 & when I asked again she gave me an attitude. I also go to order I made it clear I wanted a Taro w/ Boba & besides telling me anything; she makes my drink then I look like “where’s the Boba?” The Asian lady then says “extra, it’s extra” & I’m like that’s fine, I’ll pay for it. Then another Asian comes out, she’s pregnant saying “oh , we’re out.” & I’m like yeah? but don’t you think that’s something you would say to the customer so the customer can decide if they still want to pay for a drink there, if the main ingredient is missing? They didn’t do anything to make the mistake right so I’ve learned my lesson & will now only to the 1 in Muldoon (Fruit Land is the BEST) SoYo Yogurt Shoppe only care about the peoples $ & that’s it. The Taro tasted plain, & bitter honestly a waste of time / $

My family loves going to this place. The frozen yogurt is good, toppings good, but they really shine with the boba tea. The tea comes in many different flavors, and is very cold, almost like ice cream. Service is great.

Wanted something sweet after a nice meal out. We came to get frozen yogurt, we didn’t necessarily cared for the flavors. I wouldn’t go again, they charge .60 and ounce, and 5 for boba tea which they had ran out of.

Really well stocked with flavors and toppings. Froyo machines and topping areas were super clean. Staff was super polite and helpful. Prices were great and many great sizing options. Place wasn't the most organized though. Chaos of a game shelf and the bathroom appears to be used as storage. Otherwise great place. Would be a 5 star if not for the chaos of storage system and bathroom. I'll be back.

The frozen yogurt was lackluster. We tried taro, tart, and strawberry delight- all were rather watery and flavorless. We ended up pitching our bowls. The "cheesecake bites" topping we sprinkled on was chewy and rubbery, too. We haven't tried their many other offerings, but I'm not inclined to come back. The store itself was clean enough.

Customers rave about the friendly staff, warm atmosphere, and the opportunity to sample various flavors before making a choice. The waffle cones are particularly popular for their perfect crispness.
This place is so good!!! Not sure how the other guys stay in business!!! I ordered 3 scoops in a waffle cone. The ice cream is so creamy and good. Several flavors to choose from. I don’t think you’ll go wrong choosing any of them. But samples are given if asked ☺️☺️ Stop in and get a scoop or three!

The ice cream here is SO GOOD! While all the flavors we tried were delicious and obviously homemade, the Oreo was the show stealer! The baked Alaskan cone is a really unique idea and a great addition to the ice cream. The waffle cone was a really good cinnamon flavor as well. Highly recommend this place!

This place is adorable and clearly a local favorite. I can see why, it was delicious! They have lots of flavors and options for customizing. Signs and photos on the walls describe how they’ve locally sourced their ingredients. I got there just in time. There was a line slightly out the door, but when I left it was twice as long.

My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I needed sweet treats after exploring Potter's Marsh in south Anchorage.. Enter Wild Scoops for the win!! A decidedly local ice cream shop, Wild Scoops offers a rotating selection of flavors sure to satisfy any palate.. I personally sampled the Ultimate Cookie Dough topped with Baked Alaska (torch-finished marshmallow creme) set inside a waffle cone.. Each bite brought with it a perfect medley of sweet cream, cookie dough, M&Ms, pretzel pieces and chocolate flecks.. The torch-finished marshmallow creme complemented the hand-crafted ice cream perfectly.. At the end of the day, Wild Scoops is worth the drive from wherever you might be in the greater Anchorage area, and their prices are quite reasonable for the quality of product and service received..

The line was long, I almost left, but fortunately, I decided to stay. It was worth the wait. The ice cream was delicious, and the cones were baked to perfection. The staff was awesome and the prices were ok. The place is in a plaza so the parking is plenty and free. I haven't tried it but noticed they have vegan options.

If you don't come here while visiting Anchorage your trip was not complete. So glad we did. The Pilots Life for Me & Pumpkin Gingerbread ice cream on Alaskan cones was absolutely wonderful. You will probably have to wait in line, but it is really worth it. The Baked Alaska cone was so good! A wonderful treat for the day. My goodness, what a delicious treat after hiking Eklutna! My friends and I got the ice cream “nachos” + flights. SO GOOD. They have a small menu of flavors - all done INCREDIBLY well. The gals at the counter were so friendly and funny. Definitely worth a stop! We’re glad we did!

We ordered a small ice cream, and we're given "1 scoop" inside a bowl. The lady said is that good? We asked how much it was as we were shocked on the portion size. The lady said it was $3.50, so we said ok how about a medium assuming it would be atleast a few more scoops. The lady gave "1 more scoop" and then we asked how much that was? She said $5.... and now we are completely blown away by portion sizes for price. We bought that and left and have no intentions of returning. We used to go here every year and got big sundaes and decent portions, but not sure exactly what has changed and what drastic measures can cause such a price influx. We understand quality and authentic products, tourism, the location and making money as a business , but charging outrageous prices is going to lose business. We can get authentic made Gelato at the Homer spit for $6-9 with way bigger portion sizes. The prices need to be figured out, way to high. The staff is friendly and the business has potential but not at these prices.

This little place has fantastic ice cream. We tried several flavors and all were exceptionally well made. I know, in a hot day any icecream tastes good. But it wasn't a hot day snd I am a very picky when it comes to ice cream. It was the best ice cream I had in years! Great crew too.
