Olive & Ivy is a stylish restaurant and bar located at the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall, offering Californian-Mediterranean cuisine in a bustling atmosphere with a patio. The menu features mouthwatering dishes inspired by the French Riviera, such as sea scallops and lamb meatballs, as well as freshly baked pastries available at the Marketplace. The restaurant also caters to furry friends with complimentary doggie bones.
The most of food is done by a restaurant and you feel it. Pesto they offer while waiting your order is very fresh and tasty. Sea scallops are soft and delicious. Even simple salad has its magic. We ended up with Pineapple sorbet, yummy 😋.

A great choice for lunch! Both salads tasted great. The complimentary breag and pesto was awesome. We also ordered the crispy brussel sprouts, cooked very well, not overcooked at all, great flavor! The outside seating was nice, noticed running fountain and the misting stations were a great addition to the patio! I would recommend this lovely place. Oh the inside seating looked spacious and inviting as well. 0ur server Collin (hoped I spelled his name right) he was friendly, helpful with recommending menu items as well.

Delicious food, phenomenal service. My only complaint was the overall volume of the place. It is completely lacking any acoustic dampening, so it was very loud the entire time of our visit. It was almost shocking at first. Once we acclimated to the chaos, we were able to settle in and enjoy our booth. But it took the whole time we were waiting to be sat before we adjusted. They also have a patio we would have loved to sit at, but due to the recent rain it was not open for service. Overall, if are not too sensitive to noise, it is worth a visit. I would not have taken my kids though as they get overwhelmed in an atmosphere like this.

Diner and a show.... First time trying this spot. It's a calming atmosphere with an old world class. Visually stunning presentations, unique menu options and delicious is an understatement. Pictured lamb meatballs clean and tasty, bacon wrapped dates worth the drive for just this, White truffle prosciutto flat bread, crispy Japanese sweet potato has the peppers and cauliflower two desserts creme brulee and warm butter scotch cream cake. Special thanks to Mark Anthony for your recommendations. P.S. If you're interested in a show check out The Celebrity Theatre.

Highly recommend!!! My wife and I visited Arizona for the first time and ventured upon Olive & Ivy when going to the Scottsdale Waterfront. Lunch was delicious, and our server Bryce provided great service and great recommendations. The bread provided to start was excellent, and the bruschetta trio (pictured are the Strawberries & goat cheese, Mozzarella, and Salmon Lox) was fantastic. My wife got the chicken panini and I had the bacon cheeseburger. You can’t go wrong with choosing a side between the potato salad and the fries — both were delicious sides to great sandwiches. Plenty of Wine and beer options to wash it all down. It was by far the best meal of our trip, and one of the best lunch experiences we’ve had at a restaurant!

Had a lovely afternoon with friends grazing the share plates. We chose Indoor seating to beat the Scottsdale heat, but outdoors offers lovely views over the water. Great food and good company! Enjoyed the lamb meatballs and fig and ginger mule.

I ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, the Piccante Flatbread, and two beers. Flatbreads are usually quite salty, but the seasoning here was just perfect and everything tasted amazing. The server was incredibly friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the restroom was extremely clean.

We came in Wednesday 10/22. We were a large group of probably close to 40. The place was PACKED wall to wall. It was odd to see a restaurant so busy on a Wednesday night. I ordered the filet. It came out perfectly cooked. Service was a little slow but I understand not only because they were so busy but also because of our large party so I will definitely let that slide. The restaurant was decorated beautifully.

Nestled in the heart of Scottsdale, The Capital Grille stands as a beacon for steak lovers and fine dining enthusiasts alike. This upscale steakhouse chain is renowned for its classic American cuisine served in an elegant, club-like atmosphere that draws inspiration from the architectural genius of Frank Lloyd Wright. Guests can indulge in a variety of exquisite dishes, starting with tantalizing appetizers like chilled caviar or fresh oysters before savoring perfectly cooked dry-aged steaks and chops.
We came for our 5th anniversary. The table was set with rose pedals and a handwritten card. From the valet to the hosts and servers, the service was exceptional! Everyone that came by us was very attentive. My glass of water was never below half full. The food was a whole experience by itself! A wonderful journey of flavors throughout each bite and each dish! We were gifted a beautiful and delicious dessert as well! Definitely going to be back as often as we can!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience My father and I had an incredible dining experience at The Capital Grille in Scottsdale. The wine selection was fantastic and paired beautifully with the meal. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming—perfect for a special night out. I ordered the Double Cut Lamb Chops, and wow—what a dish! I couldn’t believe how much meat there was, and each bite was incredibly tender and full of flavor. Perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch—attentive, professional, and friendly without being overbearing. Every detail, from start to finish, was spot-on. Well done to the entire team. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to come back!

After looking for a few restaurants with private dining, We chose this place to host our wedding ceremony and reception. Jenny is so great! She’s very responsive, accommodated all our requests. She made everything easier for us. Staff are friendly and provided excellent service! The food was exceptional! They had the best steak and mashed potato. All our families and friends loved the food. Overall, we had an amazing experience! Highly recommend this place for special events.

My experience was an absolute delight. The service was impeccable and food was delicious. I was celebrating my masters degree accomplishment and they made it a very special night from the special champagne toast and congratulatory dessert. I will definitely return in the near future. Thank you for a special night.

Food was great! You get what you pay for here. Yes, it is pricey but worth the treat occasionally. Apps were good. I had the dry aged strip with blue cheese and mushrooms. It was fantastic! Veggies were great too and included asparagus, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes. All around great meal and our server Matt (if I recall correctly) was awesome!
Mike S — Google review
JJ was our waiter and I ordered the Steak Frites medium rare and it came out medium well. I sent it back, wasted my entire lunch hour waiting, and still didn’t get to eat. They boxed the second attempt to go, and when I opened it in my car, it was again overcooked—medium to medium well, worse than the first time. The staff treated me like I was the problem for expecting my order to be done correctly. The last few visits here have been nothing but disappointing with both food and service. I won’t be back, and I do not recommend this place.

When walking in the hostess was not smiling and seemed to be bothered by us. I asked for a table of three. We did not have reservations and she seemed annoyed & encouraged that I have them next time. I said, “ok what is the wait?” she proceeded to let me know it will be a 45 min wait inside or she can seat us outside in 5 min. I said we will take outside if you can provide shade. She seemed annoyed and said we can’t guarantee that but will see what we can do. As we walk outside there were umbrellas all over the place and over empty tables and no reservations to them. They put three women with no hats right in the sun with no shade. When we asked the waiter for an umbrella he seemed to accommodate nicely and was kind. I was surrounded by propane heaters and it was afternoon. I kept smelling propane and I had to say something. The waitress said that’s unusual and when she lifted the lid she noticed it was turned on and said oh yes I can smell it. But there were 4 others surrounding me. I still kept smelling propane. I complained again and told her I am tempted to get up and do the same as you did to the others knowing you are busy but she reassured me that they will do it. She got a manager. The manager acted like I was being a problem and said we never had this complaint. I felt as if he was gaslighting my experience. As soon as he lifted the others he noticed they were all turned on. Even the rest of my party started to notice as he lifted the lids. You could smell the propane. You would think he would have gone around to all of them but he seemed annoyed and did just the ones surrounding me but there were others across the patio. We all thought what a waste of propane to not turn them all off. We all got steak and mine was good but for the price I wasn’t impressed. My sister got the same steak but had a 15 year aged balsamic on hers and got extremely sick afterwards. We know it was the balsamic because we took home leftovers and her daughter had the steak with the 15 year balsamic she too got sick. I said to them it probably had mold spores or who knows how they store it for that long. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. My steak which was the same didn’t have that and I was fine. Overall for the fancy prices (we paid over $300) and this air of snooty quality they think they possess I wasn’t impressed. Waitress was nice to us but the rest blah. I will never go here again. I want to be treated kindly and with respect and I felt the moment we walked in we were judged and pushed to the side as not looking rich enough. Not for me.

We are big lovers of capital grille Denver Biltmore and the scottsdale location was our home base for many years, we went tonight after haven’t been to this location in a couple years. Whoever the skippy manager guy was In the bar area talking super loud and kissing up to an older couple sitting next to us completely ruined our dinner. if you go to an establishment knowing you are going to drop $$$$ it should be a much better experience. We were there less than an hour I paid $$$ and annoyed the whole time with my surroundings. Food was good as always -

AZ/88 is a trendy and contemporary bar and eatery located in downtown Scottsdale. It offers American staples, fantastic French martinis, and a large patio with great views of the city. The place features rotating art installations and hosts DJ-spun tunes weekly, creating an upbeat atmosphere for visitors to enjoy. The menu includes delicious options like house potato chips, strawberry shortcake with fluffy whipped cream, and the popular burger au poivre made with beef from Frenchs Meat Shoppe.
My husband and I went here yesterday for the first time for lunch. Everything was wonderful! Our service from Ashley at the bar was awesome! She really enhanced our visit with her excellent skills and friendly manner. The food was delicious, the drinks were outstanding, and dessert is listed first on the menu! You must check out the restrooms - that's all I'll say. 😉 We will definitely return!

I was thoroughly impressed. Top notch food. Drinks, service...atmosphere, ALL on point. 10 out of 10. I enjoyed it so much on my own, that I brought my fiance back later the same weekend.
Amy V — Google review
We had a spectacular time at AZ 88. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable! The drinks are served in glasses large enough to bathe in....I kid but they are definitely biggie size. We ordered flatbread and dragon chicken wings and were satisfied. The ambiance was nice. Interesting highlight, the bathrooms are out of this world. Make sure you see the restrooms when you visit. We went during happy hour on a Thursday night and there were many parties there but not over crowded. I heard it can get pretty busy on the weekends so plan accordingly. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

Ate dinner here before going to a concert at the Scottsdale Center. Were seated right away around 5:45 pm, but shortly after it got much busier. The music was maybe a tad loud, but at least it doesn't feel like you're eavesdropping on your neighbors. I had Elsa's chicken, which was delicious. Had the key lime tart for dessert, which I'd highly recommend. Our waitress was great. The restrooms are at the back, with the signage on the tall doors being just above the floor, so you can't see it until you're very close. Maybe that was done for aesthetics, but quite a few people got confused.

I was craving a cheeseburger and remembered going to AZ88 in my younger days. It did not disappoint! The cheeseburger is still one of my favorites in Phoenix, and the drinks are amazing. Since I had a beer I had to steal some sips from my family. This place is phenomenal.

Such a vibe! Stopped in for a drink, the place is beautiful, the bartenders were attentive and fun and make great cocktails. I wish we could have stayed for food, but will absolutely be back!

We just love AZ88 for its artistic journeys during every experience. The burger is the choice with great service and what we call infinity pool martinis! A must when visiting Old Town Scottsdale!

The vibe gives luxurious Palm Springs while being laid back and welcoming. The espresso martini with tequila hits the spot and the AZ88 salad is a must try.

Brunch restaurant
Arcadia Farms Cafe is a charming and cozy eatery located in downtown Scottsdale, offering a delightful array of French-inspired cuisine in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Established in 1990, this popular spot serves breakfast staples, organic New American dishes, and wine in a stylishly rustic space. Known for its scratch-made menu options featuring wholesome, natural, organic, and local ingredients, the cafe has recently moved to a slightly bigger location across the street.
A charming French themed restaurant. My husband and I decided to try it out because it was walking distance from our hotel. It’s on the pricey side but the quality of the food is great. We shared the Smoked and Fresh Salmon hash and the picture attached is a 1/2 portion so you can see it’s very generous. The server was very nice and it had a cozy welcoming atmosphere. Great place to go for a nicer brunch or dinner.
Christina M — Google review
Very cosy nice place to have a breakfast/brunch in. Atmosphere is relaxing and service very friendly. Dishes are original, tasty but I would prefer less onion driven plates.
Zu A — Google review
Food was very good, but for a first time visit, I was a bit underwhelmed possibly because of the odd place we sat. The seating geometry is tight inside and it can be very loud if you’re seated near a larger table. This is sort of unavoidable since they have large tables (seat 8-10) in each room. We wanted a cozy, romantic spot…but where we sat inside next to a group of 4 celebrating a birthday wasn’t optimal for us, especially with lots of other free tables. I think outside patio in front is best for ambience. Server was very nice and explained things well. Food was very good. We won’t go back for dinner, but maybe a casual lunch or brunch which is what I think it’s suited for as they pre-set tables and are not about details.
Barbara R — Google review
Very cute and esthetic cozy spot. Definitely a good brunch place to visit with the girls. We were seated promptly. I had coffee paired with a pecan cinnamon roll. It was just sweet enough. I also tried the ham crepe which was smothered in a white sauce. The crepe had a bit of a crunch, which was perfect. Id recommend this place for brunch 😋
Jessica R — Google review
Beautiful interior and patio seating, although it got loud with a large group seated next to us. The food was delicious, French inspired, with pastries too!

We had an excellent brunch this morning and so grateful for Penny’s kindness and attention to detail! Thank you!
Avoline K — Google review
A lovely local place with French inspired cuisine that has been in old town Scottsdale for some time. They used to have a really nice outdoor patio when they were located on the other side of the street but that is now another restaurant (and redone). We thought the food was above average but not wow. It is a great place to take people for get togethers.
Rob J — Google review
We tried this place for restaurant week in Scottsdale. For this event, it’s a set menu for $55 each. There was plenty of parking outside, bathrooms are outside of the building which are hidden from public but not inside the restaurant. The inside is set up like a house with different rooms. Though the floor is concrete not wood. The food and service was excellent. Our server was very courteous and attentive. We started with only one piece of delicious bread (I wanted more it was so good). We had a choice of five to six appetizers and chose the burrata and the brie and apple slices. For dinner, I got the scallops in wine and butter sauce. I received about 7 huge scallops. My wife got a beef bourguignon with mashed potatoes, and onion wheels. It came in a nice red wine sauce. For dessert, we were treated with the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. It was a delicious meal. Make sure to get on their mail list because they offer specials for birthdays.

Brewery
American restaurant
OHSO Brewery + Distillery in Phoenix is a vibrant venue located along the Arizona Canal, offering a cool spot with Camelback Mountain as a backdrop. It's popular among users of the Arizona Canal Path and features a fun bike motif on its back patio. The brewery and distillery offer an array of refreshing local brews, including the Popcycle Blonde and O.H.S.O. Brite. With over 40 beers on tap, it's great for groups and offers happy hour specials.
Love that this place is right off the bike trail. I went in for a bite on my way back from a bike ride and ordered an AZ Burger with a side of sweet potato fries which was a bit pricey but they tasted great and were perfectly portioned. The staff was also welcoming and attentive. Nice atmosphere too.

Great experience at the bar. Carson was our bartender and he was so sweet and attentive. Really went above and beyond. Hazy ipa is awesome! Lovely Sunday afternoon spot.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to enjoy great food, amazing cocktails, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere, O.H.S.O. should be at the top of your list! My recent visit was absolutely fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back. We sat outside at the bar, and it was a dream. November in Arizona is truly unmatched, and O.H.S.O. makes the most of it with their spacious patio seating. The best part? Dogs are welcome on the back patio, and we saw the cutest pups ever. It really added to the laid-back, friendly vibe. Now, onto the food—chef’s kiss! I ordered their mac and cheese and personalized it with bacon and jalapeños. It was rich, creamy, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The bacon added the perfect crunch, and the jalapeños brought just the right amount of heat. We also tried the chicken and waffles, and wow—crispy, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with the sweet syrup and savory chicken. Talk about comfort food done right! The cocktails were another highlight. I had the Oasis Punch, which was fruity, refreshing, and exactly what I needed to pair with the meal. My partner had the Catch Me If You Cran, a seasonal cranberry cocktail that was tart, sweet, and perfectly crafted. Both drinks were so good we almost ordered seconds! The service was top-notch, too. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of even though the place was buzzing with energy. Plus, with the ASU game playing on the TVs, the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming. O.H.S.O. truly delivers on all fronts: incredible food, creative cocktails, excellent service, and a patio experience that’s perfect for enjoying the weather—and making a few furry friends. If you haven’t been yet, this is your sign to check it out. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Chantyphx — Google review
We stopped by this O.H.S.O. for the first time and had a great time just hanging out and trying their awesome beer, especially the smooth 89Ale. Next time we're heading straight to the outdoor patio by the canal since we totally missed it until we were leaving.
Lucille P — Google review
Great first time experience here the other week. We came here for brunch and were seated immediately. Service, food and value were awesome. The meals included a beverage and at first, I thought the portion sizes were a bit small but it ended up being the perfect amount of food. I was satisfied without being overly full and gross-feeling. We celebrated a double birthday that day and the server brought out birthday shots! Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will be back the next time we visit Phoenix!
Vincent H — Google review
Love the atmosphere, but not the craft beer. The flight choices were all a little weak in flavor, in my opinion. The IPA was good, though. We came here because they allow dogs on patio. I love the water bar for the dogs. Our little dog got bit in the butt while walking to the table and cowered under the table the entire time. Owners of pets need to have a handle on their pets. I think it's a nice place and I'd go for mixed drinks if ever in the area again. We didn't have any food, so I can't comment.
L D — Google review
Fun place! I eat and drink here on occasion and have always had constant foot quality and service. If you want a good solid place to grab a drink, relax and maybe bring your pup, than you have found the right place. Their Mac and cheese is super tasty, I highly recommend that and the Green Chili. For this trip I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, it was a little heavy on the greens but still had a good bite.
Brooks S — Google review
Update Oct 2025: Been coming here religiously since our first visit and it’s always a great experience! We normally come for brunch but finally tried their dinner menu and it was amazing as expected! Food and service never disappoints! 👌🏽 We ordered the buffalo chicken dip, fish & chips, southern platter & the green chili pork and all of it was 10/10 🔥 can’t wait to try more of the dinner menu! 2020: Brunch special with drink and food included is GENIUS! Food was delicious, reasonably priced and they're dog friendly! I've been missing out! Will definitely be back! ❤

Farm and Craft Scottsdale is a trendy bistro in Scottsdale that offers a seasonal wellness menu focused on four pillars of health: anti-inflammatory diet, increased probiotic levels, high antioxidants, and reduced stress. The restaurant prides itself on serving sustainable, gluten-free, organic, and hormone-free ingredients. It's a flexitarian spot where you can enjoy vegan options like Chilled Raw Pad Thai or indulge in dishes like Grass-Fed Steak Wrap.
We have been here many times now, each time the food tastes as good as it looks, which is mouth watering! The staff works very hard and efficient even though they seem a tiny bit under staffed. They’ve always been upbeat, compassionate and professional. I love their gluten free and vegetarian options since that’s what my partner is restricted in eating. It’s refreshing to have food in a restaurant that cares about how healthy and customizable their food is. I’ve tried just about every bowl they are all incredible. The sweet potatoes are yummy! You can’t go wrong ordering anything here, safe part of the neighborhood and beautiful atmosphere sitting outside or in

Farm and Craft was good. I loved the menu here so I got takeout before I left Scottsdale. My acai bowl (with added almond butter) was so delicious. One of the blueberries had mold on it, so a little once over would be good! The bowl was out about 5 minutes after it told me it would be ready on the ordering website, which was a tad annoying since there were only two tables filled when I went in the morning!

Farm and Craft is such a cozy light restaurant with light bites to beat the crazy heat in Scottsdale. Its in a accessible place with a fair amount of parking. Its decorated much like one of those newly modern healthy eating establishments with the grass wall and light colors. The menu is small but it does not lack flavor or diversity for those who have a limited diet. Modifications can be made as needed. Flavor wise it was mild but not in a disappointing way. It seems to keep in mind everyone does not have the same pallet so with a little salt, pepper or sauce you can change it up and not have isssues. Pricing was normal for this area. It is still a bit pricey if youre on a budget. The service was great despite us walking in the wrong door and looking completely issues. All in all, Farm and Craft is a nice restaurant to grab a quick bites and continue on your exploration.

The drinks were delicious! I ordered the fresh pressed cocktail watermelon and peach skinny margarita. My sis ordered the salmon bowl she loved it!

What a fantastic little spot we found. We were wanting coffee and a light breakfast. I had the iced vanilla latte and then the avacado toast and loved them both!

Stopped by Farm & Craft for brunch and loved how they have something for everyone—gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, or none of the above. The place is super cute and bright inside, with great juices and fun non-alcoholic drinks. I had the Matcha Mule, which was super refreshing; you just order at the counter and grab your own table perfect for a light bite and a fresh drink.

When I first got here I was a little skeptic. We sat down right away but then it was like 20 minutes until we were seen. I was quickly changed on opinion by Kayleigh, our amazing server and Diesel, who helped out with our table!! Kayleigh and Diesel were amazing (and our other busser who I never got the name of)!! They turned our morning around and I would absolutely come here again!!! Thank you Kayleigh and Diesel for amazing and prompt service!!

Nature preserve
Nestled on the northeastern outskirts of the city, just a short drive from downtown, McDowell Sonoran Preserve is an expansive 30,000-acre desert sanctuary. It boasts over 115 miles of hiking trails that wind through its rugged rock formations and sprawling cacti-filled landscapes. This urban nature reserve is a testament to Scottsdale's dedication to environmental sustainability and offers free access to the public from sunrise to sunset.
I’m in absolute love with the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. I’ve logged more than 10,000 miles on these trails over the last 4 years and loved every one of them. The trail system is well-maintained and patrolled by a dedicated network of volunteers. They’re simply perfect for short to long runs. I’ve been out for 20+ miles and found myself in a wonderland of desert bliss. The saguaros, chollas, animals, and views are second to none. If you’re looking for a local escape, look no further and get out to the preserve.

Absolutely recommend a morning hike in this beautiful Scottsdale preserve. I visited from Colorado and was impressed with the clean trailhead restrooms, volunteer staff helping you find the perfect trail for your time frame and skill level, and amount of free parking. Gateway Trail and nearby bridge are perfect for a morning walk/hike with not much incline although there are some little rocks so no strollers. The trailhead starts right after the restrooms. Easy to find parking lot. Our Lyft driver had never been there and we found it easily on map.

During my bachelorette celebrations in Scottsdale, the nine of us thoroughly enjoyed exploring the trails at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The stunning scenery, diverse wildlife, and pristine trails make it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable outdoor adventure in Scottsdale.

Absolutely stunning views. We hiked the Gateway Saddle; took 2 hours with brief moments to take photos.
Brenda K — Google review
Go early! This is a beautiful preserve and it’s very popular. The parking lot is big, but fills up by 9 or 10 a.m. in the cool months. There are lots of different hikes in the preserve, but the main trail is the Gateway Loop, about 4 miles. You’ll definitely work up a sweat, and the trail is rocky (wear hiking shoes), but it’s awesome. It takes me about 2 hours. I’m slow 😉. (p.s. There’s a nice park building with restrooms too)
Kristine P — Google review
Absolutely beautiful nature preserve with a lot of hiking trails and biking trails. Make sure to bring water as fill up stations are limited. Highly suggested for a short morning hike and afternoon bike adventure.

I highly recommend the Walk with Natural Resources Coordinator at Fraesfield Trailhead. This was my first visit to Arizona and what a great introduction to the desert! The walk was easy and very informative. I enjoyed meeting others in the group — from people in their 20’s to seniors. The weather was cool (I saw frost on the ground) but the sun was warm and enjoyable. Special shout-out to Madison, our tour guide. She knows so much about desert plants and animals and gave me resources to find out even more. She has a great sense of humour and her delivery is personable and natural. I’m looking forward to returning and exploring more of the area.

Hiking day ! This trail is an amazing view. Lots of big cactuses 🌵 🌵. The trail is flat and easy to walk. So you will have time to look up and see the cactus ❤️. Also, McDowell has some of the best mountain biking in arizona and is a must hit place if you’re in to mountain biking. The trails can be very technical so it's not exactly a great place to learn, try desert classic if your not experienced, but if your in to technical difficult climbing and intense descents then it is the place for you.

The establishment prides itself on being a dog-friendly destination and aims to provide a break from the daily hustle. With its beach-themed ambiance, it encourages patrons to savor life's simple pleasures with friends, music, and delicious meals.
Excellent burger joint. The PB&J burger was my favorite. The Spicy Mac and Cheese Burger was also very tasty. The burgers are very flavorful. The pretzel bun was great, I wish I had also tried the brioche bun to compare. I would highly recommend visiting here.
Jora N — Google review
Solid place with super friendly and helpful staff. They seem to have a friendly and polite group of regulars as well. The drinks are on the low side of price especially for that area. The burgers are gigantic. I ordered the BYOB burger that came with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The burger was served hot and quickly with an appealing presentation. The meat was good quality and it was tasty enough for me to finish the entire thing with ease despite its size. I have to give a 4 because the burger was slightly overcooked and came out medium instead of medium rare. I would go back and eat the burger again.
Jason B — Google review
When we first walked in there was a weird smell that almost made me leave. Maybe a spoiled mop or something, not sure. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. We ordered mild wings and two Cajun chicken sandwiches. The wings were really good and I wish that was all we ordered and the only reason for two stars. The sandwiches didn't taste anything like Cajun seasoning. The chicken was so salty we couldn't finish it. I tried adding the garlic sauce...even dipped it in the remaining hot sauce from the wings and that didn't help. It was surprisingly gross. I guess that's what we get for ordering chicken sandwiches at a burger spot. If the meat wasn't so salty, it might have possibly been a decent sandwich.

Chill vibes. Amazing food. Homemade tortilla chips have a great flavor. Guacamole is like nothing else. Nachos Tacos burger was a huge bang for my buck. Top recommendation for Scottsdale!
Kevin L — Google review
The atmosphere here is absolutely wonderful and there is so much to see while waiting for food or drinks. I had the mango margarita and it was very good. Chili cheese fries were very good as well. We had the pbj and bacon burger and the spicy mac daddy burger along with all 3 side choices. The burgers were okay. The meat flavor gets a little lost with all the flavors and ingredients in those burgers. The Mac and cheese wasn't as creamy as I was hoping but had great flavor. They do give you a pretty decent amount of food.

Visited for the first time yesterday and will be returning sooner than later for sure! The staff was incredibly friendly, we were sat immediately on a Saturday which was a nice surprise, the atmosphere inside is awesome but we chose to enjoy the last of the nice weather out on the patio during our visit. Cassie our server was amazing, very personable, attentive, paced our burgers to come out after the wings so we could enjoy a little appetizer before getting our entree’s. We really appreciated the attention to detail. As for the food.. OMG the wings were out of this world, do yourself a favor and get the blue cheese dressing. The burgers were amazing as well, we split a hangover burger and a blue cheese bacon burger I can’t remember the exact name of, but both were so flavorful and juicy, the veggies were crisp and fresh, the fries were a highlight as well! This place is awesome!

First time here. Cool surfer vibe lol. Very friendly staff. Service was great. I had the Hawaiian burger. I got it well done and it was as ordered. I must say it was delicious!!! Meat is great quality and flavorful. Not overly pricey either. We are coming back for sure! FYI it is popular so it gets busy.

Popular dinner spot with a casual beach bar theme. Had to wait 40 minutes for a table for dinner on a Saturday night. Service was excellent! Even with crowds, we still enjoyed our time and the food came out relatively quickly. Expansive menu of unique burger offerings. Kids menu available. Salad options available too. Highly recommend! We would stop by again.

My favorite breakfast spot in old town. Adam and all the staff is very welcoming and the food is always out fast, hot, and full of flavor. The house made blueberry jam is insaneee. Get extra. I have been here at least 15 times this year, never disappointed. Adam deserves a percentage of ownership. Seriously. We stopped here after we landed for brunch. They had a large menu of cocktails and flavored mimosas, bloody Mary’s, etc. the food was mediocre and one of our fruit bowls had a dead fly in it. Our server was polite and brought us another bowl. I’d go back for the drinks but not the food unfortunately.

Cocktail bar
Craft 64 Scottsdale is a popular spot in Old Town Scottsdale known for its wood-fired pizza and local craft beers. The menu features a variety of pizzas made with locally sourced ingredients, such as the Honey Bee topped with mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano, pepperoni, jalapenos, and local mesquite honey. With over 30 rotating taps featuring local and regional breweries, it's a haven for beer enthusiasts.
Craft 64 offers a great Old Town Scottsdale dining experience with locally brewed beers and quality pizzas in a welcoming environment. The combination of refreshing craft beverages, well-executed pizza offerings, and versatile seating options makes this spot a worthwhile addition to your dining rotation. The pepperoni pizza strikes an excellent balance with the perfect ratio of pepperoni to mozzarella. Each slice delivers consistent flavor throughout, showcasing the kitchen's attention to proper ingredient distribution and quality components. The crust came out more on the crispy side which I appreciate. Calibrate your order accordingly though! While I've only sampled a portion of their menu so far, the variety appears impressive enough to warrant return visits to explore more of their offerings. On the beverage front, the Rocky Point Blonde stands out as particularly refreshing. As someone who appreciates locally brewed beers, I found this selection to be a perfect complement to the pizza, offering a clean, crisp flavor profile. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options, creating flexibility for different weather conditions and dining preferences. It's worth noting that as summer approaches, the outdoor seating may become less comfortable due to rising temperatures, something to consider when planning your visit since I don't recall seeing misters of any sort. Should you choose to dine at Craft 64, I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did!

Sat down and ordered at the bar, ordered the Burratta Fresca pizza and the bartender misheard and put in there fresco salad. She did course correct and got us the pizza quickly. She asked my partner if she wanted a drink she said just water, but never asked me just assumed for both. When the pizza came out again was not asked if I wanted a drink or if we needed anything else. The staff was just hanging out behind the bar, at one point I looked around the restaurant and I saw two servers talking to each other on the floor and he lifted up his shirt and I got to see his hairy stomach. Really was not a good look. At the end of the meal we asked for a box, had to wait while she ran food and poured drinks all while there was a server standing behind the bar when she could of asked her to grab one for her. The food , the pizza wasn’t the best, for the style of wood fired crust it could of been better, was a little too charcoal forward and all the ingredients on the pizza were too heavy. You couldn’t just pick up the slice. I know it’s a Fresca pizza but the only thing cooked on it was the mozz and sauce when I thought the burrata and heirloom tomatoes would of been cooked too. $25 for a 12in pie is also a lot even for being a specialty pie., if I’m going to spend that I will walk 2 doors down to Virtu and have a superior experience, food, and ambiance.

Service was excellent- Kate took great care of us! Atmosphere was casual and friendly- food and drink options were plentiful. We started with the caprese salad and then ordered the margherita and tipsy pig pizzas. Everything was fresh and delicious. We really weren’t interested in fine dining while in Scottsdale, and I’m really glad we found Craft 64. It was a very high quality casual spot. Highly recommend!

Great pizza and friendly service! The mozzarella and pizza dough is made in house. The bottom and crust of the pizzas nicely done in both pizzas we got. We went for a late lunch, around 2, and service was quick. We had the pepperoni and Anaheim, with one of the seasonal salads. All great. Anaheim is labeled spicy, but it’s not overly so, just enough for a kick. There were other selections like pasta and sandwiches available, too.

Garlic bread, pepperoni pizza, dessert calzone…literally all delicious and worth returning for. My husband had the house made root beer and said it was great. Presentation was nice. Place was clean. Our server didn’t really come back to check on us until just before bringing us the check; we actually sat with our table cleared for several minutes while he checked in with the people right next to us and chatted with fellow workers. He never did refill my husband’s soda, which was empty halfway through our time there. So not really sure what’s up with that. But otherwise everyone was nice and a woman thanked us on our way out, which was a nice way to end our visit.

If you're craving a cozy Italian escape without leaving Scottsdale, Craft 64 is where it’s at. Nestled in a charming, welcoming space that feels part wine bar, part neighborhood kitchen, this spot is perfect for laid-back lunches with bold flavors. From the jump, our experience was made even better by Daniel—our attentive and easygoing server who made sure everything hit the mark. He kept the vibe fun and the table full. We kicked things off with the mozzarella and tomato starter—a fresh, vibrant Caprese-style dish with thick-sliced tomato, creamy mozzarella, and a dusting of basil. Paired with hearty toasted bread, it had all the flair of bruschetta but with a richer, cleaner finish. Then came the homemade meatballs, bathed in a rustic marinara and melted cheese. These were fork-tender and seasoned just right—Italian comfort food at its best. And let’s not forget the Italian sausage, which brought a bold, smoky depth to the table. The grand finale? A pepperoni pizza that deserves a standing ovation. Wood-fired perfection with those beautifully charred bubbles along the crust, generous slices of pepperoni, and that golden cheese melt you dream about. Each bite was a flavor bomb—crispy, chewy, spicy, savory. From start to finish, Craft 64 nailed it. It's one of those rare spots where the food, atmosphere, and service all align into something memorable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit for lovers of Italian food, craft pizza, and good vibes. A fine lunch had by all, indeed.

I have been coming to Snooze for a few years now, and it is one of my favorite breakfast places. What I like about it is the location. It is within walking distance of where I work, making it convenient to walk there whenever I crave a good brunch. One of my favorite dishes there is the breakfast tacos. Breakfast tacos are among my favorite breakfast foods, and I especially enjoy them when I get them with avocado. They also have great omelettes. One of my favorites is their Denver omelette. You can also never go wrong with their breakfast burritos either. The service is fantastic. One server, Bryan, is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Whenever I stop by, he is always a pleasure to talk to, and he, along with the other staff members, ensures that I have everything I need. I appreciate how they care about everyone in their restaurant having a great experience. Another thing I like about Snooze is the colorful atmosphere. It is a great place to go not only for brunch, but to brighten up your day whenever you are feeling down. I look forward to future visits and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a great brunch spot in the ASU area.

I absolutely recommend checking this breakfast spot out 😍 The pancake flight was amazing! 3 flavors in one serving: strawberry shortcake, cinnamon roll, and Pineapple upside down and I am glad I didn't substitute anything out. The fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing and the mixed lemonade special drink was quite flavorful as well. The breakfast tacos with avocado were amazing. Be sure to plan accordingly because this place is PACKED often. Be ready to wait for a table or choose a good off-hour to visit. Went with a group (8 total) of friends who had recommended this place for breakfast and WOWZA! Everyone at the table LOVED the food (and drinks) they ordered and we ALL have different tastes. ⸻ My wife and I are from Alabama and recently found a great spot in Old Town Scottsdale called Morning Squeeze. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed, with a bar area for mimosas as well as regular dine-in seating that faces the main street. My wife loved the vibe—it’s a perfect brunch location. We ordered the Hangover Bowl with a side of corned beef hash, which was amazing. We also tried the skirt steak and eggs, and it was outstanding. To top it off, the fresh-squeezed orange juice (“the squish”) was out of this world. Overall, it was a tremendous experience, and I would recommend Morning Squeeze to anyone visiting Scottsdale, Arizona. Ask for Wendy as your sever she was also awesome!

Morning Squeeze is definitely a spot worth checking out if you love a good breakfast! I ordered the breakfast tacos, and they were excellent—fluffy scrambled eggs, perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of cheese and toppings to make every bite flavorful. The side of breakfast potatoes was cooked well and added a nice hearty touch to the plate. To drink, I went with the freshly squeezed orange juice, and wow—it was so refreshing. You can really taste the difference compared to bottled juice; it was bright, tangy, and the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, Morning Squeeze delivers on both taste and freshness. The breakfast tacos are a must-try, and the fresh OJ is the cherry on top. Great place to start your morning right!

We love this place, it’s our second place going in for breakfast. I find the staff particularly welcoming, and really enjoy the food. My only critique would be that for us, the music is a little bit loud, my mom wears hearing aids and it’s hard to sometimes to navigate that. Otherwise a full hit

Chicken is old and way too much breading. The food had no flavor. The fries were decent. Also the alcoholic beverages have maybe 1/4th of a shot. To put it simply, I’ll never come back here.

Nice little find on the main road to meet a friend for brunch. I had the eggs Benedict which was very tasty and the cappuccino was good too. Our server was pleasant but only saw her once and it wasn’t busy. The decor is reminiscent of an old 50’s hang out and has indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is varied and good value …

Brat Haus is a laid-back hangout in Scottsdale that offers a unique combination of German bratwurst and microbrews. The venue features communal seating, a dog-friendly patio with games like ping pong and cornhole, and street art. With a rotating selection of beers on tap, it's an ideal spot for making new friends while enjoying delicious brats and other menu options like burgers and salads.
This place is a fantastic little find right outside of Old Town Scottsdale off of Scottsdale Road. We went here with a group of co-workers for happy hour and wasn't disappointed. Parking is a little rough on a busy street but worth it once you get into the restaurant. The atmosphere is highly decorated and reminiscent of a German style Octoberfest tent. There is a tree and shade structures along with board games and long picnic tables for family style meals. The decor and the big chair are hilarious and the place is super pet friendly. Encouraging you to bring pets and have free water and dog bones to accommodate. They even have a pet menu. The beer list was sufficient but the real gym is the food. You have to order the pretzel and take in its sheer magnitude. It also doesn't hurt that it was absolutely delicious. We had six people that ate off of one pretzel and still couldn't finish it all. Overall fantastic little place and I look forward to coming back again soon

Great brats and beers in a fun casual environment. Stopped in for lunch and the food was delicious and made fresh with great flavor and ample portions. The beer selection was excellent though there were out of one of my favorites the day that I went. Service was fast and friendly and the laid back atmosphere was a great place to have lunch. I can see spending even more time here for an evening with friends.

Great outdoor beer garden. Good food, good drinks. Lots of space. They have two different indoor sections. One with a bar, the other for dining.

This is seriously one of the best hidden gems in old town. The food is fresh and very reasonable compared to a lot of expensive crap in the area. Great beer selection, and the staff are kind and TRULY care about their customers. I came around 1:30pm in the summer for lunch and stayed until 6pm for the company. Drew, one of the owners, is so down to earth. Kristen is an incredible bartender, server, manager and is great at ensuring everyone is happy around the restaraunt. The brats are obviously delicious and fresh, the fries are INSANE!! The process they do make the fries shows how much they care about their food. We stayed long enough that we sampled their cocktails for a trainee bartender and WOW! 10/10 cocktails I had no idea. We also joined their stein club which is a steal. $50 for a year and you pay for a pint and get a custom stein (we engraved ours with our name) along with 10% off food and access to fun events. Brat Haus needs more recognition as one of the best places in Scottsdale...but not too much because I want to still get a seat! Go in the fall for the incredible patio...stay for the good food, beers, and service.

Great, chill place to eat. Our waitress was amazing and gave us some great recommendations around Phoenix. The brats are also fantastic. Come hungry!

This is a great place with a fun vibe. The ribs were straight fire. The wings were meh. But great an atmosphere and excellent service.

Love this place. Great sausages, terrific beer selection, and an awesome outdoor beer garden. Great staff and fabulous fries just add to a wonderful experience. We always stop here when in Scottsdale. Terrific tap selection too. Update: Was here on Feb 13, 2025 and once again Brat Haus delivered. Polish and a Chicago dog were both great with friendly service. Courtney is very funny.

I've eaten here at least 25 times over the past 5-6 years and have always enjoyed the food, drink and service. As a single older gentleman, I sit at the small bar inside and normally arrive between lunch and dinner during the week to avoid crowds. Today I had a bad food experience and it really surprised and saddened me since I really like the place. I ordered a beer, two different sausage sandwiches and an order of fries. Everything was very good including the service EXCEPT one big problem: the two rolls that were served with the sausage sandwiches were the WORST rolls I have ever tried to eat or were served for a sandwich. They were dried out, too much dough, stale, flavorless and something a supermarket throws away in the garbage after a week on the shelf. What made matters worse was as I picked up each sandwich and attempted to bite into them, the bread just crumbled apart. By the end of my meal 95% of the two rolls remained in a giant pile of small broken pieces on my tray. My hands were a mess from all the toppings getting all over and I finished the second sandwich just eating the sausage and toppings with a knife a fork. If you are going to serve sausage sandwiches on rolls, they need to be good at a minimum. Instead something as simple as a .50 roll ruined good food, beer and service. Gonna take me a while to try this place again .....

Randy's Restaurant & Ice Cream, situated in the Chaparral Plaza in South Scottsdale near Chaparral Park, is a beloved family-owned establishment deeply rooted in its community for nearly 40 years. The restaurant prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests are treated like family. Open from 7 AM until late, Randy's offers a diverse menu featuring American comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at affordable prices.
I've been wanting to go here for quite some time now. So I thought today would be perfect. I had a class, at my college, at 9:00 am. So I was kind of in a rush, but I wanted a decent breakfast so I could focus in class. As soon as I got in, they sat me down at the counter and got me a menu and some coffee. After looking at the menu for about 3-5 minutes I knew what I wanted, the #8: 2 Eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, some hash browns, and a choice of mini pancakes. The waitress told me to get the limited time pumpkin pancakes instead. Which I did, and boy it was worth it. After I ordered I got my meal in about 5 minutes, and yes, it was amazing. I'm not even really an egg person, but I somehow practically finished my entire plate, and got out of there in an amazing time while still being able to enjoy my meal. 5 stars, I'm definitely going to come back to try the ice cream.

Whenever my father comes to town for a visit, it I s just not complete without a meal at Randy’s. He used to live across the street and frequent it weekly. We sat outside. Our server Tara was so friendly & nice. They now use tablets for the orders. We ordered a chef salad, a turkey cranberry sandwich with fries, a couple salad & sandwich combos, a slice of corn bread, a McCormick ranch melt with soup and ice cream for dessert. The meals came out at different times, they ran out of Italian wedding soup but didn’t tell us until after some of us received our entrees and there was some confusion with salad dressings and ice cream flavors but the staff was so nice and apologetic. It might be a learning curve with the tablets. We noticed you can now pay online with a credit card which is a nice option since they were always cash only. It is still quite busy. We live in North Scottsdale so it is not very convenient for us but we will be back when my father visits again.

From the outside, very non-descript. However, once u walk-in, it was a pleasant surprise! The food choices were plenty, the restaurant spacious & prices decent (in today’s market..) This place would satisfy visiting family, friends or if u simply want to try something different for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner Or maybe I’ll go back for a root beer float or one of the many ice cream choices that tempt near the entrance…

Best no frills breakfast I have had in a long time. Don't expect anything fancy or upscale. Do expect friendly service, reasonable prices, and a good diner experience. I ordered the traditional eggs benedict, and the eggs were poached perfectly. The hollandaise sauce looked/tasted like premade restaurant supply, which was as expected. Overall, it was good, and I would order it again. The chicken fried steak was fantastic with good texture and flavor. The skillets were also very good. The country potatoes were a bit undercooked/mushy for my preference. Portion sizes are very large. Debbie was our server and helped us first-timers through the menu and ordering. Her attitude was so fantastic it totally made our day. We can't wait to come back.

Laura, Jackson and everyone we came in contact with were so genuinely friendly. You can tell they love their jobs. Multiple people asked if we had everything we needed. June 18, 2025 back again! Just a few weeks later, and I couldn’t stay away. Well the truth is, it had been a really awful day, and I did not want to cook!! So, a favorite local choice to the rescue! Pinnacle Grille always pulls me back in with that perfect combo of local charm, great food, and unforgettable people. This time, it was all about cocktails and comfort. My lemon drop martini arrived in an ice-cold glass with a sugared rim—and bonus points for bringing the shaker to the table so I could top it off myself. It’s such a little thing, but it makes the whole experience feel a little more special. A little fancy, you know! We also ordered a reposado tequila old fashioned, and let me tell you, it was stunning—big gentleman’s cube, dark cherries, chunk of fresh orange, just the right amount of smoky and sweet. Well done, Jackson! Thank you for consistently delivering one of the best reposado tequila old fashions in town! For supper, I went all-in on the personal recommendation from Erik, who we've enjoyed having several times as our waiter, and he suggested the Steak Gorgonzola Pasta. Yep, he was right! It was a perfectly grilled bistro steak over Cajun Alfredo, topped with cherry tomatoes, and a little balsamic drizzle for that tangy kick. It was rich, decadent, and completely worth it. Carbs and steak...a perfect pair! And because the day had been way too stressful dessert was screaming my name so, we split the Chocolate Lava Cake. Warm, gooey chocolate with that melty center, plus a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Total heaven. Honestly? Pinnacle Grille just keeps winning me over. The staff, the food, the drinks—they’ve created something really special here. A true neighborhood favorite that never feels ordinary. May 28, 2025 visit to a local gem! Pinnacle Grille is one of those places that makes you wonder why more people aren’t raving about it and why on earth it isn't packed out every night! Honestly, it’s such a hidden gem—and I mean that in the best way. From the second you walk in, the staff make you feel like you’re part of the family. I’ve been several times now, and they always remember us. Not just our names, but drink orders, allergies, favorite meals—you name it. Dawn, the manager, is pure sunshine. Glamorous, funny, professional, and genuinely warm. You can feel how much the staff respects her—several have told us they work there because of Dawn. And it shows. The vibe she creates just radiates through the whole place. The bar? A total highlight. Jackson (wild hair, wild personality) is straight out of “Cheers.” He remembers what you drink and how you like it—before you even ask. Leon keeps things moving fast and friendly with the best laugh and killer bartending skills. And when you are looking for a wine recommendation, just ask for Erik! He is definitely a wine enthusiast and happy to make a suggestion or two! For supper, I went classic with the All-American cheeseburger and onion rings. I always love a crispy onion ring! Perfectly done. My girlfriend tried the All-American burger with a gluten-free bun (thank you Erik for remembering the gluten allergy from a previous visit before it was even mentioned during this dinner) with steak fries, others in our party had the spaghetti bolognese with garlic toast (hearty and flavorful), and the club sandwich with a side of chili. And not just any chili—this one was topped with fresh jalapeños because my spice-loving friend isn’t messing around and is always looking for the extra punch. We laughed, we hung out way too long, we left full and happy. This is such a great spot for dinner out with friends without breaking the bank! Pinnacle Grille? It's local love at its finest. We will definitely be back!

It's sad that I need to give this place such a low score on service 😔 the place is beautiful, the area around is great, BUT!!! I don't look like the majority of the people who visit the area. They have a large patio and I requested to sit outside. I was told that ALL the tables were reserved. All I needed was one little table for me. I was offered to sit at the bar when half of the place was empty inside. However, I'm a New Yorker, Its not in me to be a yes ma'am person. I asked for the manager, Tim, was my savior that day. I waited a little, but he found me a table outside. He served me with respect and kindness. Even though he was SOO BUSY, he made sure I got everything I needed. When you go there PLEASE ASK FOR TIM. He is just amazing. No other waitress or waiter even looked at me. Very sad to experience this in 2024, in such a nice place! My food was good. Now you know....talk to TIM

Loved visiting this restaurant! Great atmosphere and a laid back crowd. Arrived around 4:30pm for an early dinner and thank goodness we did, because about half the tables on the beautiful patio were reserved for reservations and we were able to barely have a table in the shade. They have lots of umbrellas on the patio, however some retractable shades would probably be better in some areas so the customers and servers wouldn't have to duck around them as well as provide better shade. The restaurant became very crowded for Friday dinner and the food coming out of the kitchen was quick for some tables and slow for others, our food took almost 30 minutes. We didn't order any appetizers, however ordered the Baby Back Ribs (advertised on the menu as Fall off the Bone, which they were). Our rack of ribs came out lukewarm and the table next to us was served with the same temperature. We will return and try other menu items and hope they are served hot.

Stopped in with my wife for dinner as we heard this was a good place to go. Our server came to the table promptly and we ordered drinks and placed our dinner order. He brought back the drinks quickly, then we never saw him again. Forty five minutes later we stopped another server, he checked on our order and said we were up next. After 15 more minutes, I went to the hostess stand, told her our issues and said we just wanted pay for our drinks and leave. She said she would get our server and he never came. We then paid the hostess for our drinks and left. I would give negative stars for service if possible, and as far a rating the food, we were never served...what a mess.

My husband and I visited twice. Both nights we had a lovely server named Emilee. She made very good suggestions for us. Our first night we had Key lime pie which was awesome! And on our second night she suggested the Tacos that were also amazing! It’s always good to have a cheerful engaging server who adds to out of the area visitors. We were visiting for 3 days from NJ and spent 2 nights dining at Fate Brewery.

Maybe I caught this place on an off night, can’t comment too much about the atmosphere. Service was decent BUT should have been better considering the amount of staff versus the amount, or lack of, customers here. 4/5. Drink was ready but I watched 3 servers ignore it until my actual server brought it the 20 feet to me. Food. Ordered the Hawaiian burger. Meat needs seasoning. I wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked. The patty was dry and overcooked. Lacked flavor. The pineapple was too dominant. Would not get again. Drinks. Good flavors to the IPA’s. The Fateful IPA wasn’t cold enough and flat. Asked for a repour . Same. False promises hazy was cold enough and still had fizz.

Forgot to take pics of the food but it was great. Lots of seating and good service. The home lager was just what I was hoping it would be after spending 2 hours at the botanical gardens. The menu had plenty of selections from pizza, burgers, to salads, etc. Can’t go wrong with this place. Parking out front was full but there is a larger lot on the backside of the building. We arrived at 5:30, it was busy but there were still plenty of tables and didn’t have to wait.

Phenomenal is all I have to say. We had entirely too much food and I can honestly say we couldn't decide which item we liked more than the other! The ribs were delicious. Even the kids mac n cheese as well as pizza was so good! We had 9 glasses in our flight and all the beer (and sour) was so good! I particularly enjoyed the red ale and candy stout! We will gladly be coming back here. I would've taken pictures but the food was gone before I even thought about it!

Chaparral Park is a 100-acre public park located in Scottsdale, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. It is one of nine parks along the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt and includes amenities such as ballfields, sand volleyball courts, and an exercise course. Additionally, there is a three-acre dog park with separate areas for active and passive dogs.
Super cool park! I loved all the ducks and pond. They had some different playground toys. Definitely great for Pokémon go players! I’ve attached part of the map for that as well so trainers can see what’s there. 10/10 would go again.

I enjoyed a walk through Chaparral Park this morning. There weren’t too many people out when I first started, but people started coming halfway through. The walk is nice and clean and there were ducks around the pond areas. It is adjacent to a fairly busy road, but it didn’t disturb the walk too much.

5 star attraction in Scottsdale. Such an oasis in the city with fun for everyone. The little ones have the playground. The dogs have two facilities to choose from - active dog park or passive dog park. And the rest of us have a mixed shady path to walk / run, picnic, play baseball or soccer or basketball or even fish in the relaxing pond. Need I say more ......

Lovely park with a paved walking path around a pond, a dog park, a playground, fishing, and bathrooms. There are lots of species of birds that visit this park to include cormorants, blue heron, killdeer, and even a bald eagle stalking ducklings. There are lots of tables and benches for seating or picnics and trees for shade. There are also a few large fields for sports or training.

I counted 7 pieces of Calisthenics equipment around the loop of the lake. It’s pretty unique to have this equipment in a public Scottsdale park, views, and wildlife at the lake add so much too. Great place to chill or exercise!

Came here for the trail around the lake. It’s about a mile around the lake and 1.5 if you go around the fields. Roomy path to walk/run and people were courteous with their space and letting you know if they were passing. Came around 8am. Nice breeze and plenty of people fishing. Great little spot to hang out or get a good work out in.
BMF G — Google review
This park is enchanting. The lake is beautiful in the middle is an island filled with ducks, the kids can fish off the bank. Additionally the park has a basketball court, and a giant children’s playground. Plenty of seating and BBQ pits. A really family fun time.
Richard K — Google review
This place isn’t just a park, it’s like someone took the concept of “public space” and went full bodybuilder with it. It’s huge, loaded with trails, fields, courts, and random areas where you could probably start a flash mob or a medieval joust and no one would bat an eye. Perfect for biking, running, walking, or just letting your kids burn through their sugar rush while you “supervise” from a shady bench. I barely made it through a fraction of it before realizing I’d need a snack stash and possibly a search party to explore the rest. There’s enough space here to accidentally wander into a new zip code. Definitely going back, but next time I’m bringing a cooler, and maybe a GPS tracker so I don’t end up in another city.

Went for a show in the Grand Balllroom. Was a little confused on exactly where to go. I called the ballroom and was told just follow the signs to the casino and then look for the ballroom. Also said do not follow directions to the Amphitheater. Same name but not the same place. Parking was easy for us but we got there early for dinner. Some said they waited and had trouble finding a spot. After inside it was pretty easy to figure out where to go. Busy casino but nice place overall. Glad I called for directions cause outside said nothing about ballroom.

Our experience working with the event team at Talking Stick Resort for the 2025 Phoenix Regional Duplicate Bridge Tournament was outstanding from start to finish. Sheena, our account manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She answered every question with patience and clarity, and worked closely with us to make sure our contract and event details were spot-on. She even helped secure a generous spa donation for our raffle, which added a fun and memorable touch for our players. Francesca and the reservations team made coordinating hotel rooms smooth and stress-free. With a large group and plenty of last-minute changes, we were so grateful for her organization, professionalism, and flexibility. Many of our players stayed at the resort and were pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, attentiveness of the staff, and the privacy. And during the event itself, Tim and the catering staff were exceptional. Everything ran like clockwork, and any request we had was handled quickly and with a smile. The service was top-notch, and it helped create a welcoming and well-run experience for our guests. Thanks to the entire team at Talking Stick, our event was a success in every way—and we’re already looking forward to working with them again for 2026!

But not only that I wanna give all my praise to the security guard there. He is an amazing working who does his job so well. We were a group a girls with one of the guest constantly stalking us and the security guard made us feel so safe while we swam and escorted us back to our room at the end of the night. He was quick to help with any problem we had. This guy deserves a raise and so much more!!!! We shouldve got your name but thank you for all your help and for making us feel so safe. So from all 4 of us thank you and we appreciate you so much. I will definitely be only using this hotel whenever I am down there next

Nestled within the charming Bespoke Inn in Old Town Scottsdale, Virtu Honest Craft is a culinary gem that has captured the hearts of food enthusiasts since its inception. This intimate eatery, with a cozy capacity of just 25 guests, offers an ever-evolving menu inspired by Mediterranean flavors and seasonal ingredients. Under the expert guidance of Chef Gio Osso, Virtu has garnered significant acclaim, including nominations for prestigious awards like the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant.
We enjoyed the "craft of the pre fixe" with the bistecca tagliata supplement on the patio at sunset and added a caramelized onion risotto. Favorites were the amuse bouche, polpo, asparagi, tomahawk and desserts. Service was professional and the ambiance on the patio was quite charming. Very good time had, Virtu! 👍🏼🍺🍷🥩🌄

Absolutely delicious! We had such a wonderful evening last night at Virtù in Scottsdale visiting with friends. We ended up doing their 5 course meal to try more from the menu and wow was it incredible! We had 6 guests in our party and every dish was perfectly crafted and full of different tastes. If you’re in the area you have to visit, perfect date night spot, upscale family gatherings and feels like you’re stepping right into a little restaurant in Italy. A must see!

Excellent experience, wonderful service, perfectly prepared food, Excellent options, great drinks and romantic atmosphere. It's a dining experience and highly recommend you let the chef do their thing! Octopus perfectly charred and flavorful. Branding was delicious. Desserts where perfectly size and beautiful presentation. Really can't say enough positive about Virtu. Perfect experience and we'll worth it!!

Our dinner at Virtù Honest Craft started with a small mix-up — the wrong dish was brought out on my wife’s birthday. The staff immediately owned it, apologized sincerely, and went above and beyond by comping both plates. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a cozy, romantic atmosphere that feels special the moment you walk in. We ordered the crudo, asparagi, anatra, and manzo — every dish was incredible, full of layered flavors and beautifully presented. Despite the initial hiccup, we left impressed and grateful for the way they turned things around.

Service was fantastic, food was very fresh and delicious, the octopus and steak were the best, couldn't quite figure out the flavor for the scallops. The cocktails were also fantastic. Great ambiance in a nice little tucked in square.
Jared M — Google review
Virtu is typically a special occasion spot for my wife and I. The drinks are amazing, the food is immaculate, and other restaurants can learn a thing or two about service from these guys. The ribeye is always delicious and typically a staple when we do go. The octopus and bufala were also hits when we go. I will say this, my wife was sad to see the ice queen had been taken off the drink menu, but our bartender actually whipped it up for her! That was a really cool move on her part, but I'd recommend putting it back in rotation! Who would have thought black pepper in a cocktail would be so good?!
Zakk M — Google review
This is a fun restaurant that changes it's menu often. We did a chefs choice 5 course and we couldn't have been happier. The taste contrasts were amazing.

North Italia is a delightful Italian trattoria situated at the picturesque Kierland Commons, offering a warm welcome to patrons and their leashed pets in the outdoor patio area. The restaurant boasts a from-scratch menu featuring an array of delectable Italian dishes, including handmade pastas, pizzas, braised short ribs, beef carpaccio, and chicken parmesan.
Had such a great meal at North Italia! We ordered the chicken parmesan with spicy vodka rigatoni and also got the white truffle garlic bread with white truffle on the side — everything hit the spot! The chicken parm was perfectly crispy with tons of melty cheese, and the pasta had just the right kick without being overpowering. That truffle garlic bread was unreal too — so fluffy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Plus, the service was seriously amazing — super friendly and really on top of everything without feeling rushed. Definitely planning to come back soon!

A great Italian place located in Scottsdale. The vibe is great, good vegetarian options and laid back service. They have ample outdoor and indoor seating. Tried the tortellini and stromboli, both were delicious. Will definitely go back again!

Delicious Italian fare. I loved the pizza it had a unique combination between crispy crust and authentic Italian ingredients. I highly recommend it as well as the pasta. The menu is the appropriate size so I don’t think you can order a bad meal here. Bonus points for an awesome kids spaghetti.
LeAnte F — Google review
Had dinner here a few weeks back and was a really good meal. What really stood out to me was the unique drinks they had. I'm a tequila person, so tried a couple of their margaritas. The Alta Rossa was good, a raspberry-ish version of a standard margarita. Also had the Diavolo, which was definitely different. The smokiness of the mezcal (and maybe even the chili amaro) is strong, so be prepared for that. If you like smoky drinks with a little spice, you'll probably like this. Wasn't my favorite. My wife had the La Dolce Vita, which I really liked. Kind of a tropical tequila drink. Food-wise, I had the grilled/roasted salmon, which was good. Sides were really good also. Can't recall what others in our party had, but everyone was happy with their meals. Service was average, I would say. Overall, this was a good meal and good time out.

June 2025 North Italia Scottsdale, espeically this time of the year, feels a lot like a slice of summer with all their fresh ingredients! Visited for a late lunch and pulled up a seat at the bar...of course, I always this is a great choice when you want the inside scoop and excellent service. It's just easy! Steven C. was our bartender and let me tell you, he was fantastic. Funny, attentive, and he listened before recommending anything (how refreshing is that?). He asked great questions about our tastes and what we were looking for and then offered thoughtful suggestions. It was clear he knows his stuff. Started with two perfect-for-summer cocktails and a new favorite for me...the Ciao, Bella! This summer cocktail is light, peachy, and combines vanilla-infused vodka and a pop of brut rosé. Bonus? Just 230 calories, which makes it basically a health drink, right? Also enjoyed a mojito which is often a go to choice and North Italia's version and was tart, minty, crisp, and so refreshing it made us forget (briefly) that it was 110° outside. Ugh! Is it November yet! Then we enjoyed the Margherita pizza. Loved the crust which is the right balance of crispy and fluffy, easy to hold, and perfect to bite into without collapsing. Fresh mozzarella, red sauce, and plenty of fresh basil (not that sad single leaf some places give you). It was simple, classic, and really well-executed. I will definitely choose this pizza again! Now for the fun part...these are some of the fun facts you learn sitting at the bar and enjoying conversations! We learned that Scottsdale was the very first North Italia location — and it’s often a training hub for the whole brand. Love that! Even better, their bartenders compete every summer in a friendly cocktail showdown, and guess what? Scottsdale has produced three national winners, including this year’s — who created a drink called Watermelon Sugar (yes, inspired by the Harry Styles anthem playing in your head now). I’m just saying… North Italia, if you’re reading this, I volunteer to come back and try that drink when the new drink menu launches. 🍉🍸 Corporate concept or not, this North Italia still feels local and special and the team really brings it. Well done, Scottsdale. Well done!

Been a regular over the years at North Italia. It never disappoints. Definitely recommend and will keep coming. Their pizzas and pasta dishes are one of the best in North Scottsdale
Agustin F — Google review
I came here as Thee One and Only for my monthly date with Me, Myself & I — and let me tell you, North Italia did NOT disappoint. Damien, my server, was absolutely incredible. Attentive, charming, and spot-on with his recommendations (and yes, ladies, also very easy on the eyes 👀). Started the night with my go-to dinner wine, a glass of Pinot Noir, and then dove into the tortelloni al pomodoro with pancetta added — chef’s kiss perfection. For my nightcap, I ordered an Old Fashioned. Now, I’m picky about my Old Fashioneds, but this one? Smooth, balanced, and absolutely flawless. And just when I thought the night couldn’t get any better, I was surprised with the hazelnut torta for dessert. Sweet, decadent, and the perfect finale to an already amazing night. Hands down, some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time and a night worth repeating. North Italia — you officially made my Me Date feel like a VIP event. 💃🍷✨

HULA'S Modern Tiki Scottsdale is a trendy restaurant and bar that channels the vintage tiki vibe of the 1950s and 1960s. The establishment features a spacious indoor-outdoor layout with communal tables, creating a tropical ambiance. The menu boasts an array of Polynesian-inspired dishes and drinks, including classic tiki cocktails like Mai Tai, Painkiller, and Zombie served in festive mugs.
More of a Hawaiian-Themed restaurant than a Tiki Bar, but serves up lots of Tiki-drinks and has an excellent weekday/weekend happy hour. Service was excellent, although the bar/restaurant was short-staff (only one waiter/host, one bartender, and two cooks - seriously busy). Despite all, service was good and the drinks were great.

Absolutely amazing! We came here for happy hour and it served as a great dinner. I had the ceviche and spicy edamame. Both are MUST haves. The ceviche has amazing flavor and is very neutral, not at all fishy. The edamame is absolutely amazing, char grilled, has a kick but not too bad. My friends had the Thai chicken bowl, pork pot stickers, and lettuce cups. Lettuce cups are also high on the list, the bowl was good and pot stickers were great. Drinks were well priced, strong, and have good flavors. A good variety of options. I’ve had better service but they were fairly busy and low on staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful in selecting items. I would 100% return and highly recommend!

Glad we decided to try hula‘s out! We were curious and decided to sample several of the appetizer options. Everything had great flavor, Nothing was bland, and we were able to control the spice level on whatever we ordered. We tried the lettuce wraps, fried plantains, potstickers, fish bites, and Johnny cakes. We weren’t in love with the Johnny cakes or fried plantains, there was nothing wrong with them, they just weren’t our favorites. The fish bites were super crispy, but had much more breading than fish. The lettuce wraps were delicious with a great balance between meat and vegetable and enough lettuce leaves to accommodate all the filling. The potstickers were large, nicely browned, and had plenty of filling. We all fell in love with their Thai peanut and their soy based dipping sauces. Our server was very responsive and super friendly! We’re looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu.

We came with a group of 8 on a Saturday morning, soon after they opened. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was our first time there and everybody loved all of their dishes! Really yummy and fresh. We will be happy to return!

Excellent food, drinks, and service! We started with spicy edamame, which had a kick with savory flavor. I chose the fish sandwich with half sweet potato fries, half regular. The fish was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion—did not need the bread. I will definitely come back and order this again. My fiancé ordered the short ribs, which were delicious! His brother ordered the pulled pork in a delectable sauce. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend Hula’s!

Food was good and could be better we had the tofu bowl and hula fish tacos. Flavor was on point and the free condiments on the side had great flavor punch. the atmosphere could have been better for the location. Not many vegetarian options mostly tofu. But seafood here was great.

What a great experience. Truly unique food with excellent service. Drinks were great and my youngest even enjoyed a tasty Captain's Colada Mocktail. I had the wings which were top notch with an interesting Asian barbecue vibe. Pot stickers were an excellent appetizer and wife got the crunchy chicken tacos, which were great and not dry like is often the case. Everything was excellent and Caitlin was extremely busy but still provided unbelievable service. They have a happy hour on weekends, for drinks! 🤙Went back for desert, Wife and Son had Key Lime pie, which was tasty. I went for my personal favorite, Coconut Creme. 🥥🌴

My friends took me to this restaurant and I was concerned that it wouldn't have gluten-free options but pleasantly surprised that they did. I had the lime chicken tacos which were really good. I liked that they had a little bit of a kick to them. The rice was just rice, nothing particularly special in the flavor. The beans that came with the rice weren't very flavorful either. Overall, is probably go again just for the tacos.

Southwestern restaurant (US)
Nestled in a vibrant setting, Soul Cafe is a delightful culinary gem that brings the flavors of Arizona to life through its Southwestern-inspired American cuisine. This inviting eatery serves up an array of mouthwatering options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From fluffy omelets and hearty pancakes to tantalizing mahi-mahi tacos and crispy buttermilk fried chicken, there's something for everyone.
The first time I came here was for lunch during an event I was attending on a Sunday which turned out is when they are the busiest. We were lucky to be seated rather quickly but our group’s food was delayed making us late. We weren’t upset because the meal was delicious. I had the GF Avocado Toast with eggs over easy. I do have to say we were surprised when all of our meals were comped by the owner! This establishment is amazing at taking care of their diners! With that said, I did not have a chance to take a photo or write my review at that time but I had also seen the “Two Good Two Be True” & had planned to return to the them. I came alone & sat at the bar. I didn’t realize how big the pancakes were but I will say I was pleasantly delighted by the flavors. I ordered GF Lemon Ricotta & Granola Raspberry with chicken sausage & 2 eggs over easy. It was quite flavorful & filling. I was unable to eat all of it. I would say the Lemon Ricotta was my favorite. Granola Raspberry is definitely for the granola texture lover. I also love how they have outdoor seating for in between seasons. Make sure to go on an empty stomach. Either way, I’m certain you will love what you choose!

My wife and I visited this hidden gem for breakfast. The place is well located next to a main avenue with direct access from it. It offers indoor and patio sitting. Inside they have a full bar with premium liquors. The bar also features screens for watching sports. We had the tamales with eggs and the two sauces it is served with were delicious! The hostess and the waitress were very attentive and the waitress even spoke spanish. We also ordered the zucchini and hazelnut bread with pink butter, simply delicious.
Manuel P — Google review
Cold food, bad quality, not worth the wait. The food here was a major letdown. Cold French toast, cold fried steak—nothing came out hot or fresh. And for what we waited, the quality was no better than a typical Denny’s or IHOP. Totally underwhelming and absolutely not worth the hype. We showed up at 11 a.m. for brunch and saw a big crowd outside. The lady at the front told us it would be a 30-minute wait, We got seated, placed our order, and after that, the waiter came back and said *after we had already ordered—he casually mentioned the food was on an hour-long delay. Seriously? That’s something the host should’ve told us upfront. We would’ve left and eaten somewhere else by then. Our food finally hit the table at 1:30 p.m.—cold. The French toast came plain—just toast on a plate. We asked for butter, and the waiter said it doesn’t come with any but could bring it on the side. If not for the toast, what’s the butter even for? I can only assume this place stays busy because it’s in the middle of nowhere, where there aren’t many other options. If it were in Midtown or any area with more choices, I doubt it would be half this crowded. I don’t recommend it and won’t be back.

We recently moved to Scottsdale very near Soul Cafe. This amazing restaurant out performs on every level but ESPECIALLY brunch! My personal favorite is the “Too Good to be True” - but honestly, everything on the menu is fantastic! The staff is also top-notch! I absolutely recommend Soul Cafe!

We are foodies, and have a few rules on vacation. No chains, and no going to the same place twice. We hadn’t even finished our meal, and we made a reservation for later this week :) My wife had the surf & turf ravioli, and I had the mexiloaf. Both were absolutely amazing. I never take food pics, and I did tonight :) The service was equally amazing. Friendly, and helped us to navigate a menu with multiple offerings that made our mouths water. Hence the repeat visit later this week. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool vibe, without being too foo-foo sheeshy.

Overall 4.7/5 - Great breakfast option with unique offerings. The avacado trio and protein pancakes were both very good. The only complaint is the very small amount of syrup that comes with the pancakes. Upon request, the server graciously brought us more though. The bonjee biscuits were also very good. We got the cannoli donuts as well, which are enjoyable if you are a cannoli fan.

Favorite meal of our whole Scottsdale trip! What a gem. It's so cute from inside to outside they do not miss a beat. The sweet hostess sat us quickly at a big table; who doesn't love eating tacos on a leather couch?! I ordered chips and salsa/queso for the table and they were both so yummy. I ordered a fantastic cocktail that was served in a baby coconut and it was so cute & delicious. BRUSSELS SPROUT + PROSCIUTTO salad for dinner was a HUGE WIN. I added their grilled chicken and I cannot stop thinking about it. I love the way they bring out their 6 pack of salsas/sauces with the little menu card! Such a fun detail and they were all GREAT! A big shoutout to our hostess because I realized I had made the reservation for the wrong night, but she took care of it no problem. She was very kind! This was the only meal we said we would come back to the restaurant! Big Cheers! Thanks for a great dinner!

Cute vibe as soon as you walk in. I was greeted and sat immediately. I ordered a watermelon mint rumita (because I hate tequila lol) and it was fabulous! I tried 1 of each taco; green chili chicken, charred skirt steak & the pineapple pork and a watermelon salad (guess I was feeling this summer day). Everything was fresh & juicy. Kierland Commons is one of my favorite spots to stroll, shop, and grab a bite. The open-air layout makes it feel more like a charming promenade than a typical shopping center, and the mix of stores, from national brands to upscale boutiques, offers something for everyone. A fun Mexican restaurant with great outside seating. The street tacos with asada were delicious, and the Mexican slaw had a nice spicy flair. The salsa is good, but they could have warmed the chips. The food is good. I love the birria tacos and the quesadillas too. The queso with the meat is great. They do put a little too much salt on the chips but I guess you just drink more margaritas that way. Their happy hour makes it easy to have 3 lol, it’s from 3-6pm The service is always great and yesterday there was a young lady that took care of us very professional and with a great attitude. Totally recommend this place. Specially for a dinner after work or a nice spot for Mexican food.

Loved the experience here after a long time we found a place with a vibe similar to a favorite spot we used to go to regularly. The food was really good and the drinks. Service was great. And I should mention this location is way better than the one on mill ave.

Really good tacos and the drinks were good too. Service was a bit slow. I’ve also never been a fan of their chips. Fun place tho.

If you come here, which I highly recommend, you need to order the Salt & Pepper Wings. These wings are the best that I have ever eaten. #worldsbestwings The tacos and drinks were also great!

I actually really like this place. The Mexican food may not be the most authentic food in the world but service is fast, the taco Tuesday deal is phenomenal with a good selection of options and I always leave satisfied. 3 bucks fish tacos with two types of fish!? 3 bucks margs I think. Count me in. Rice is rlly good too which compliments the tacos - I got 3 - 2 fish and one chicken tinga with a marg and I think my bill was like 20 maybe. Comes with great chips with really good salsas. Vibes are great.

We came here for lunch while on a trip and it did not disappoint. We got the steak tacos, ground beef tacos, and coconut shrimp tacos - all were delicious! Our server Kyleigh was great as well.
Morgan — Google review
Slightly unfair review warning as we never got to try the food which is why we came. But the server outside last night has no business working in the service industry. For context, all tables are seat yourself as long as they are cleared. Our group arrived and looked for a spot on the patio. The three open tables were all dirty, naturally we hit the bar to order a round in anticipation of snagging a table and enjoying dinner and drinks. After we had ordered at the bar a server came over and told us she just cleared our table and that we “can’t order drinks at the bar since she already cleared that table”…. I naturally suggested we just transfer the bill to the table but apparently neither the bartender or the server with happy with that idea. I asked the bartender what he wants to do, and he said it’s would be better to just settle the tab with him after asking “if I’ve ever been to a bar before”. And like everyone, yes we have. And if you know the service industry it’s common practice for servers to tip out bartenders, hosts, and support staff at the end of the night. We’re talking a tip of maybe $8 for drinks that’s causing some friction here. Off to be a bad start with the attitude from this waitress and a bartender that needs to reconsider his people skills. Fast forward, we sit down with our drinks party of six ready for dinner. Waitress goes to the table to our left, table to our right and after five minutes came over. Hard to describe someone’s attitude and tone but it was clear she wasn’t happy. She asked if we wanted to order food, which we did. Again, this was a rude, I’m annoyed tone. We asked for waters and after I she chose to roll her eyes and walk away we immediately said let’s bounce. Why would any establishment employ people like this in the service industry? Generally failures like this are reflective of bad managers and GMs. I don’t fault the bartender or server as some people are just not built for the service industry and have never had a leader help them realize their personalities don’t reflect the responsibility associated with serving people. Should management read this, you probably know exactly who this server is and who the bartender is. Act with intention, as I’m sure I’m definitely not the only one you’ll never see again. Do better.

Brothers Ling and Louie opened their first restaurant in 2003, serving contemporary Asian-style cuisine with a Western twist. Today, there are six locations across the U.S., all celebrating fresh, affordable food made with local and seasonal ingredients. With its lively atmosphere and family-friendly vibe, Ling & Louie’s is the perfect spot for a quick meal or an evening out with friends.
My wife and I just went here for the first time to have dinner for Valentine's Day. We didn't have a wait because I made reservations online. I was very pleased with the array of gluten-free selections. The starter popcorn definitely has a kick to it- I liked it but it was a bit much for my wife. I got the gochujang chicken tacos and firecracker chicken fried rice which were both super good. It is hard to find gluten-free crispy chicken, let alone something so flavorful. The cocktails were made fresh, and happy hour (at least during the week) lasts until 7pm. The portions were enough to have leftovers the next night. We will definitely be back here again soon!

I visited Ling & Louie’s a few weeks ago. The restaurant had nice decor; however, the hostile staff overshadowed the experience altogether. It almost became comical how rude the waitress was inadvertently also happened to be the hostess. The was bland. I understand the concept of fusion however they took it to a new level not in a good way. I think if you’re stopping in for a quick bar food, it’s fine but I definitely would not recommend them for dinner. It was also pretty pricey for what we got.

We had dinner here last night as part of a large group. We were 25 over four tables. It was happy hour still too so very busy. It was easy to see that this is an incredibly well run restaurant. The service was flawless. The servers and managers worked together in unison - quickly, focused and with smiles. The food came out in a timely fashion and delicious. They have a nice, well priced happy hour menu, but the regular menu isn't expensive. They use regular menus for dinner and drinks, but the dessert menu is on a old time Viewfinder. Fun! Can't wait to go back.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant in it was definitely really good. The service was phenomenal. My waitress smiled and gave us a good service all day of us being there. They have a bar, TVs, inside and outside for drinking and eating. The bathrooms were clean, and I definitely felt at home being there. Thank you so much. If you are in the area, come check it out.

Always good! We used to eat here when it was known as "Thaifoon". Even though we don't live in AZ anymore, we still talk about this great establishment! Wish they were in NC! Firecracker chicken has a slight heat, while the Evil Jungle Princess has a nice creamy balance. Service is excellent, too! So friendly and wanting to go the extra mile.

It was our first time here and we came for restaurant week. I had reviewed the menu beforehand and it looked like a fun place. We made a reservation ahead of time. Our server, Brandon was very helpful and we took all of his recommendations. We ordered fried calamari, General Ling’s chicken, and the walnut shrimp. It was absolutely delicious! The portions were fair and we brought home leftovers. For dessert we ordered the banana spring roll and we were very happy with it. Sam, the manager was a great host and came over to our table and spoke with us. Overall, the service was 10/10. We plan to come back and try some of the Mexican fusion food next time!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful breakfast or lunch spot, look no further than Scramble, a Breakfast & Lunch Joint. This charming eatery is not only pet-friendly but also boasts an inviting open-air patio where your furry friends are welcome to join you. The menu is packed with hearty options that will satisfy any appetite, featuring everything from fluffy buttermilk biscuits and savory breakfast pizzas to sweet cinnamon rolls and fresh lox platters.
Super cute place for a quick bite. The service was fast and friendly. Our food was good, the iced coffee was fantastic. My sausage was a lot overcooked and quite inedible. Outdoor seating was lovely - the birds were everywhere though. But I would come back for sure. It has a good sized menu. Great for families with kids.

Wonderful experience, our 1st time, had delicious breakfast platters! Highly recommend! I had the Lox platter with smoked salmon, my other half - the mushroom bacon omelette. Yum! *I was surprised that their coffee is 16oz and no smaller portions… Smoothies are made with yogurt.

I are here for the first time not expecting any vegan options, but I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a little section devoted to it. I had the tofu scramble with sun dried tomatoes, onions, and peppers I think. It was good. I feel like they went a little overboard on the oil they cooked it in as it was really oily. The hash browns were a little bland. The sourdough toast didn’t taste like sourdough, but it was fine. It came with vegan butter which I appreciated. My friend got the breakfast pizza which was enormous. It looked really delicious and she seemed to like it. The restaurant was clean and modern and the staff was kind and accommodating.

Definitely worth a visit! Everyone was very friendly and the service was quick. I ordered a meat lovers scramble with a peach banana smoothie. Both were excellent. The cheese melted just right in the scramble so you got some in almost every bite! I would come back and recommend!
Dominic V — Google review
This place has nice atmosphere with high ceilings and large open floor space. It’s a fast food style ordering. The bathrooms were clean and the meal filled you up. I wish they had more choices on the breakfast menu without beef or pork. Although the bacon melts in your mouth. If I had a choice to go here again or try a new place, I’d pick the latter.
Mathew B — Google review
Best place for breakfast! The place is. Wry nice for a Sunday breakfast with your hubby or friends. The vegan options are super good. I would come back in a heart beat.
Andrea D — Google review
The counter-order Breakfast concept is pretty awesome. One of two locations in the mid-section of the Valley. Wasn't really sure of what to expect but I liked the prices posted on their online menu and when you're out of food but wanting a muscle-building breakfast this is a solid spot. The parking lot was packed but when you find yourself inside there's plenty of space with the addition of the patio seating as well. For $2.89 you have bottomless coffee: an Italian and Breakfast Roast. Heinz apparently makes honey. I ordered the steak and eggs, this is where I have some problems though. Although the price for the dish is excellent and they should keep it right there with the perfect portion. The NY Strip was probably one of the worst seasoned steaks I've ever eaten in my life. So y'all need to put in some work on that. Two fluffy eggs, perfect hashbrowns, and a English muffin to round it out. My girlfriend went on to order the Phoenix omelette and my oh my was that delicious, I could only be jealous of her choice that was chock full of flavor versus my un-flavorful steak. The sour dough bread is also delightful. Definitely a fun choice for breakfast, especially if they get after it and season that steak.
Aaron C — Google review
I'm not from the area, so I was surprised walking in. It's in-between a fast-food and restaurant, with lots of options for breakfast. You order at the register as soon as you come in and then find a seat. They bring the food out to your table. Definitely, the hipster, trendy type of vibe and the food seemed trendy too. Yes, the food was fine, the staff was friendly, but it's not my cup of tea. I'm more old-school and prefer a diner or true restaurant feel, but I can see a lot of ppl like the concept here. So I'm rating it based on the concept, and to be honest, I would eat here again if someone invited me.

The Scottsdale Quarter is a beautifully maintained outdoor shopping mall with a charming small-city feel. The palm trees lit up at night create a gorgeous atmosphere, and there’s a great mix of stores and restaurants to explore. It’s always clean, inviting, and a great place to spend the day. My only disappointment is that they no longer have Gap and Express—I really miss those stores!

Additionally, Shake Shack is known for its unique shroom burger and iconic New York-style burgers.
I had the chicken burger and a hot dog, and both were seriously fresh. The chicken was juicy with the perfect crunch, and the hot dog had that classic Shack snap and flavor. Super clean spot with friendly staff too. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving something quick but still high quality.

Burgers were good but the grilled cheese we ordered for our daughter looked like they put a couple Kraft singles and microwaved for 5 seconds. It’s a bit of a disappointment when you spend $40 to treat your family and the food comes out like that.

LOVE this place! Food tastes less processed, fresh & not too salty. Burgers really hit the spot. But this time we tried the chicken sandwiches and we were astounded by the extra thickness and natural texture of the meat. They forgot to give me ranch and the burger was burnt. I was on my lunch break so I didn’t have time to have them remake it so I was forced to eat this hard crunchy over cooked burnt tasting burger. It was terrible. Also the burger is tiny. Almost $7 for a burger that is only big enough for a child. And the bun was folded under and smashed onto my burger so when I unfolded it there was sauce all over the top and was messy to eat. It doesn’t seem like they care about the quality of their food at all. The fries were great but whoever is cooking their burgers is the worst. I expected way better from this place.

Good taste great. There was no service, it's impersonal cause you order from a machine on the wall pull a ticket and they walk out and drop the bag on the table in front of you. Basically figure out where all the condiments are and nobody greets you so nothing to really rate service on.

Flower Child is a charming and laid-back restaurant that caters to vegetarians, vegans, and those seeking healthier dining options. With multiple locations across the United States, this eco-conscious eatery prides itself on serving up fast food that's both nutritious and freshly prepared. The menu features delectable items made from scratch using locally sourced produce from organic farms. Diners can expect well-presented dishes with generous portion sizes, such as house-made pita wraps and gluten-free vegan salads.
I’ve been going here for many years and it’s always delicious. Their steak is my favorite as well as their chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, quinoa rice! I often wish their portion size is bigger since for the price you would expect a little bit more food, though in retrospect it makes sense since their quality is so high technically it’ll still make you feel good. It’s just doesn’t make me feel full and I only weigh 190 lbs at 6 foot. I can imagine others feeling the same way. I definitely appreciate the quality of food and their servers. It’s always with a smile and they make it very easy to pick up food since they have a inside as well as outside area to quickly pick up your food labeled with your name and free utensils; naturally flavored lemon water. It is located in a very safe area next to a major hospital and shopping plaza. I love using their app to collect points and order very easily online. 5 star restaurant without a doubt and super family friendly / kid friendly. One time I witnessed two dogs fighting each other and the crowd was terrified. I suggest keeping your dogs close to you and on a leash for safety!

Flower Child in Scottsdale has clearly found its groove with the lunch crowd, and for good reason. This place was absolutely bustling when I visited during peak lunch hours – always a promising sign that locals have embraced what they’re serving. The counter service here deserves special praise. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff moved with impressive efficiency, getting orders processed and meals prepared remarkably quickly. What really stood out was how genuinely friendly and helpful all the employees were. They took time to answer questions about ingredients and offered suggestions without making you feel rushed, even with a line forming behind you. I decided on the chicken enchilada bowl, drawn by the promise of fresh, quality ingredients that Flower Child promotes. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and you could tell the vegetables and other components were indeed fresh and high-quality. The portion was generous and satisfying. However, there was one significant disappointment that kept this from being a five-star experience. The enchilada sauce was shockingly processed – imagine the consistency, appearance, and artificial taste of Cheez Whiz, and you’ll have a pretty accurate picture. For a restaurant that prides itself on fresh, wholesome ingredients, this felt completely out of place and frankly puzzling. It’s the kind of shortcut that undermines the otherwise thoughtful preparation. The popularity and efficiency of this location speak volumes about what they’re doing right, and the staff truly elevates the experience. If they could address that sauce situation, this would easily be a must-visit spot. As it stands, it’s still worth trying – just maybe ask about sauce alternatives.

Flower Child has become my favorite place to take my elderly father to lunch or dinner whenever I come to Scottsdale. I've been caretaking him for several months and we come here at least once a week except when he was in the hospital and a skilled nursing facility. One of our favorite dishes is the enchiladas. The flavor of the sauce is excellent! And we have never been disappointed with any of the food (always fresh, lots of gluten free and vegan options) or beverages - lemonade is yummy! And the service and cleanliness are reliable. Plus all the staff are friendly and upbeat, which I really appreciate.

The resort is bustling with activities for all ages, making it a popular choice for family gatherings and special events like weddings.
I cannot say enough amazing things about my stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess — this resort truly deserves more than five stars! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect. The property itself is breathtaking — beautifully maintained grounds, sparkling pools, and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind. I especially loved waking up to the gorgeous desert views right outside my window! The dining options are another highlight. Whether you want a casual poolside bite or a fine-dining experience, every meal we had was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The resort also offers so many activities — from the incredible spa and world-class golf to family-friendly events and seasonal celebrations. It’s the perfect getaway whether you’re looking to relax, be adventurous, or enjoy a little of both. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning my next visit. If you’re considering a stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, don’t hesitate — it’s worth it a million times over!

Spacious, comfortable rooms with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was stunning—wall-to-wall marble and beautifully maintained. I loved the large patio and the thoughtfully decorated spaces throughout the property. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and it was great to see all the shops open and lively. The spa was a highlight, especially the gorgeous rooftop pool with food and drink service. An unforgettable stay—11 out of 10!

The rooms were spacious, the balcony a nice amenity, though mine overlooked the parking lot. The bathroom was large, well appointed, and clean. The walls were thick and so the rooms were quiet. My AC was not calibrated; even when set at 75F it was actually stuck at 64F. That made for a cold night of disrupted sleep. I called it in the next morning and was told maintenance would arrive within 30 minutes. I called back after almost 90 minutes and then finally a team showed up. They did fix the problem at that point rather quickly. The grounds were quite attractive, a bit of an oasis in the desert. We got rain for the 4 days of my stay and the hotel drainage was not equipped to keep it from pooling: outside my room so that I had to walk through 2 inches of water to enter; outside the gym so that I had to walk through 3 inches of water to head back to my room; other places as well. The amount of rain was minimal for this kind of drainage problem. The gym was fine, but not comparable to the size or options of other 5 Star hotels I have stayed at in the US and abroad.

Went here for a conference. Wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The room service is prompt. The pool is wonderful. And the gym is very good for a hotel gym. Only negative is that it is rather far from PHX airport so the uber ride from the airport to the hotel at 10pm is pretty pricey, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

I was at the Fairmont for a short period and had an amazing guest experience. EVERY staff member I came across took the time to speak with me, welcome me to the hotel, welcome me to the area, ask about my stay, not a quick hello with their head down, a conversation. It was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, it made my experience so much better. I travel a lot and even at the nicest hotels and resorts, this is not always the case. The rooms and grounds were beautiful. There are several areas to take advantage of - pools, gardens, pathways. I would come back and recommend to others. Keep it up Fairmont! Amazing!

Sydney, Tara, Samantha, and Andrew were absolutely fantastic to work with. They regularly went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I during our visit. They were pleasant, courteous, professional, and personable. The service with them is the best I’ve experienced so far in my time visiting and staying at the Princess for the last several years (my kids always enjoyed the holiday events they put on). The folks working the stores were also very friendly including Julie who we saw multiple times. The customer service we experienced makes us look forward to our next visit, although I do miss the gentlemen, Jeff, who used to visit the resort with his Falcon some years ago. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are fantastic, pools in excellent shape, it’s a gem who’s customer service sets it a part from the rest of Scottsdale.

I have been twice. The first time they didn’t even bring what I ordered out. The second time I thought I’d give them a chance. They have a “rib special” (do not recommend) on Thursdays. The waitress said she never tried them but they were “popular” It’s like they boil the ribs. They looked so bad that I couldn’t even try them. So far, the drinks are good (obviously) But the food is sub par at best,

It's very spacious, but that's where it ends. The service was horrible, usually had to find the waitress because she wasn't around. There's nothing special about the food. There's no Juke Box or TouchTunes. Found out from a waitress that the owner plays recorded song lists, and this past Friday was playing the most god awful music you can imagine, and just kept playing it and playing it. I guarantee in that mostly 40 and over crowd, everyone agreed. I politely asked him to change the music up a bit, but he wasn't going to budge, not even for 2 paying customers, likely because he's very old and doesn't listen to anybody. Best sports bar? Yeah, ok. I've spent good $$ there because there's always an available pool table, even on Friday nights. but that's the only reason. Will not be going back, which is unfortunate because I enjoy playing pool in a spacious area.

Ten years ago my husband and I brought our friends and family to your restaurant. The food was very good and the servers were kind. Today my daughter was in the hospital having a mild procedure and the hospital kitchen was closed. She asked me for fried zucchini and I automatically went to Duke's. What a mistake. The zucchini was overcooked and the oil was old. I ordered fish and a side salad and they placed both items in the same container. The salad was ruined and the fish tasted like burnt oil. The barmaid seemed nice but she really didn't care. I left a tip because I'm a kind person but when I returned to my daughter's room I was ashamed of the food I brought. I will never go there unless I am invited by friends, but I will tell them anyplace else is better.

Good food. Good outdoor view of people playing disc golf. Nice homey bar! Waitress was nice but a little forgetful on details, like giving us water and napkins. Otherwise good overall!

Well it's been 20 years since myself and my coworkers ate and had some beers to celebrate the life of a coworker who tragically died on the job. We had a good time at this place. It's good to see it still standing strong. Try it I guarantee you will have good food and beers!

The food here was decent but not great as mine wasn’t as hot as it should have been. The service is pretty good and the atmosphere is ok but could definitely use an injection of energy. Not a bad place to grab a bite and a beer and maybe watch a game.

We went for trivia night and that was a lot of fun. We got the quesadilla and wings and potato skins. The food was good, the drinks were good and our server was awesome.

Live music venue
Wasted Grain is a lively and dynamic hotspot nestled in Old Town Scottsdale, where the atmosphere transforms from a casual eatery by day to an energetic nightclub by night. This unique venue boasts open concert spaces, a vibrant dance floor, and three well-stocked bars. With live music events featuring national bands and artists happening regularly, guests can enjoy dancing the night away. Wasted Grain also caters to sports enthusiasts with game-watching parties and hosts various exciting events like bar crawls and food festivals.
I rented this bar out for a corporate event. We had an amazing experience! All of our guests were raving on the private space and live cover band. We added karaoke at the end of the night and singing with the band made it 10 times better. The staff was accommodating and so great to work with. I would definitely recommend doing a buy out for your next event!

I love this venue for live music. There's always something for everyone here. We returned for a second time to watch the Amy Winehouse Experience, and they never disappointed us. The drinks are good, and the nachos fair+. This is not a place to be blown away by fine dining, but the items they do have well prepared. In short, if you love live music, this is the spot for you. After hours, it does turn into a move club atmosphere with a heart-pounding mix of today's jams.

I have gone to this bar a numerous amount of times and usually always have a great experience. 95% of the staff is always very kind and helpful- hence the 3 stars. However, I would like to highlight a particular experience that occurred last night, on Saturday 8/2/25. I have never experienced such blatant dis-respect from a staff member until this particular experience. I was ordering a drink at the upstairs “ski” section of the bar (on the right side) when I politely asked the bartender if he was able to make a specific drink, which he rudely screamed “NO” in response to my request. I then ordered an alternative drink, where he rudely screamed “CASH OR CARD” where I responded “card.” I was planning on handing my phone over for Apple Pay. He then rolled his eyes, ignored my order, and walked away. I was taken back by this and left in utter confusion, especially since typically, the payment method is asked at the END of the order. He then eventually circled back to me where I again ordered the same order and he screamed even more aggressively “CASH OR CARD!!!!”. I then responded the same as before, where he then decided to skip past me again, walk away, and ignore me to the point I had to leave and order from a different section of the bar. I am always incredibly polite when ordering, and have never been so taken back by an experience with a bartender and have never been treated with such disrespect. The entire rest of my night my ruined by this interaction. I have also never been asked “to pay”, or for my “payment method” before my order is even fulfilled. Maybe this particular bartender was just having a bad night, but that does not excuse the blatant disrespect and uncalled for treatment. I am leaving this review so that the Wasted Grain staff is aware that they have a staff member that is actively treating customers like this. I am sure I am not the only customer who has been treated like this by this particular bartender. Thank you.

Went twice during my brother's bachelor party weekend and had fun both times. Live band was great. Only dropping a star because when I bought a round of 11 shots, the bartender told me I didn't need to tip because I spent over $150 and gratuity of 22% was already added in, so I would be charged twice if I tipped. Was caught off guard by this. I didn't see any signs at the bar about this, and usually I tip $1-$2 a shot not $4-$5, that's a significant difference. If there were then I'll take some blame. Probably need better signage or at least say something before. I could have at least bought 2 rounds of 5-6 shots to avoid this.

If it's football season and you're a 49er fan and you're in the area, stop on by. Excellent atmosphere and plenty of seating. Staff is friendly as well. And if it's not football, stop on by anyways. Plenty of drink choices and bar menu. Plus outside entertainment.

The Rooster Tavern is a popular local bar that offers a casual and welcoming atmosphere for patrons. It's known for its diverse menu, which includes pub classics like wings and burgers as well as more upscale options such as filet mignon and lobster mac & cheese. The tavern also welcomes dogs on its patio and provides water bowls and treats for them. Visitors can enjoy live music on Saturday nights while savoring the tasty food offerings.
Wow, finally! The absolute best wings I have ever had; so tender, and you can taste the smoke flavor to the bone. I also got the Diablo turkey wrap with sweet potato fries and a side of onion rings - they did not disappoint! I'm so glad the T-Bird Tavern didn't answer their phone that day 🤭, can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu! Their service matches their food, glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem 🐓 💛.

Definitely try it out. But bring cash or you pay 3.5%. We were looking for a place to grab a bite and a drink in the Scottsdale area that wasn’t expensive hip, and found this one. It was set back from Scottsdale road so we didn’t even know it was there until a google search. As a bonus, they have a dog friendly patio, which we needed. We decided to just stick to appetizers, but there were some other things on the menu that we may return and try out, such as the green chile. We decided on the Birria Quesadilla and the wings. We asked for buffalo wings but I think we got the dry rub wings because there was little sauce. They were sizable and we enjoyed them, but I would have liked to have had buffalo. The Birria quesadilla was really good. It came with a tiny side of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, plus a cup of adobo. I think we were supposed to dip, but we poured instead since we were sharing. It was messy, but very tasty. We would order extra guacamole and sour cream next time. The staff was attentive, but the credit surcharge was tiring. Just add the cost to the food, owner. Few people carry cash anymore.

Unexpected surprise! We had just purchased two electric bikes from Eric‘s bikes in the parking lot. And came over here to celebrate. Was pleasantly surprised by how great the appetizers were. Lots of great choices. I had the frozen espresso martini, which was delicious! Our quesadilla was feeling, all the ingredients fresh. Came out quickly. When we first arrived, Service was a little slow because I think their rush came earlier than when they were fully staffed. But once the whole staff was there, everything was fantastic. Would definitely dine here again.

I’ve been to the Rooster Tavern more times than I can count, and it never gets old. The food, fun atmosphere, and bingo or trivia nights keep me coming back. The green chile stew and French dip are my go-to favorites, but the taco Tuesday special was amazing too, loaded with tasty slow-cooked meats.

The ambiance here is truly top-tier and the energy is absolutely electric. As someone who usually prefers modern, classy upscale bars and clubs, I was blown away by how impressive this place is. From the moment we arrived, Jessica our server was phenomenal. She greeted us, made us feel instantly welcome, and provided exceptional service all night. Attentive, personable, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. 10/10, highly recommend

Met a friend for lunch and stayed to see the band on a Sunday. The place went from nearly empty to totally hopping in about 2 hours...the band really brought people in. Acoustics weren't great. Bartenders are friendly and really capable. Best onion rings so far, fish sandwich won't bring me in for Friday fish fry. Atmosphere seemed to be a combo of locals, groups of friends, people waiting for your to leave so they could have your seat, and people looking to meet people. I might return to check it out for a football game, lots of TVs.

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. They also played great music if you're into rock and alternative from the late 90s and early 2000s. The food was also really good. I ordered the spicy turkey wrap and it actuslly was a bit spicy, which I was pleasantly surprised with. It seems like most places say something is spicy and then it's not. Our waitresses was also vert attentive and provided great service. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I like this place a lot. We've been here several times and it does not disappoint. This time around I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of Regular Fries. The Sandwich was amazing! The chicken was hot, juicy, crunchy and flavorful. They toasted the bun which I've always been a fan of. I wish they added pickles but that's just me. I would order this Sandwich again. The fries were hot and crispy. I ordered the key lime pie, it was tart and tangy, which I appreciate. The crust was "wet" but that's normal with most graham cracker type crusts. But the custard was great. I love the look and feel of the bar. My question for the restaurant...why did you get rid of your poutine?! That was bomb! Please bring it back 😁

Couldn’t have a more positive experience!! To start, the food is absolutely incredible. I got the Dip per recommendation and it lived up to the hype. Their carbonara is incredible, and their happy our Cab is delicious! Service isn’t immediate, but the restaurant is extremely busy and there is no short on hustle for the service team. Every worker was approachable and accommodating. If the reviews I read were true about them closing, I’m extremely sad to see them go. Nothing but a positive experience !!!

Butterfly Wonderland is an indoor rainforest habitat located near an aquarium in the city. It houses thousands of beautiful butterflies, along with sections dedicated to insects, reptiles, and tropical fish. As the largest butterfly conservatory in the country, it boasts over seventy species fluttering among lush foliage and dense vegetation. The complex also includes other attractions like Odysea Aquarium and Dolphinaris for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
This was amazing. It was magical from start to finish. I would say this is probably not for babies. There seemed to be a lot there, and their conservatory is hot and humid for the best environment for the butterflies. Their reptile, amphibian, and underwater displays are just gorgeous. I do not regret going at all. It was a great afternoon well spent.

For anyone that loves butterflies and other insects, this is the place for you. An awesome video at the beginning that talks about stages of the butterfly, thought was very interesting. Once in the butterfly area, it was awesome, had a few land on me, that was cool. Go here early, when its cooler, but definitely a must see!
Jason B — Google review
Butterfly Wonderland is awesome, let me start with that before getting into the few downsides. The whole concept is brilliant and beautiful. Not only are they helping preserve butterfly species and supporting conservation efforts, but they’re also giving the public a chance to experience these incredible creatures up close. That’s amazing! My only real complaint is the price. For two people, it’s about $75 for an experience that lasts roughly an hour or two at most. It’s a bit steep, but it feels better knowing the money goes toward something meaningful rather than just another theme park. Overall, I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area. Be sure to spend enough time in the sanctuary, you’ll want to slow down, take it all in, and hopefully have a few butterflies land on you!

You cant go wrong walking through a tropical jungle with butterflies flying all around you! It was so soothing and calming! Awesome attraction especially if you have kids, my 2 small toddlers really enjoyed themselves, and it was a fun mixture of entertainment and education. Staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to share info on the butterflies. They have some small indoor exhibits with fish and reptiles as well. They also have inclusive options for children with processing difficulties or other challenges. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit when at the boardwalk

10/10 would recommend this place to anyone in the area! They had a short video on the monarch butterfly migration. They also have a near area where they show the life of a butterfly and the stages there before they release them with the others. There were so many and they were so gorgeous and perfect! Their snack area was clean and tidy. The staff was super friendly. There was so much to look at and I wanted to take pictures of everything. It’s def worth every penny!

We visit Butterfly Wonderland every time we come to Arizona, at least once a year. This time, Jonathan Levingston was playing his violin and took the experience up a notch! Visitors can enjoy attractions such as the Paradise & Pacific Railroad with steam locomotives and diesel engines, as well as the beautifully restored Scottsdale Charros Carousel.
This place was great. Mostly free except for the train ride and the carousel which are 3 dollars per person which I thought was reasonable. Very clean and well maintained. Great places for kids to play, water fountains all around or bottles of water in the market. The model train museum was amazing. The largest display I have ever seen and really well put together. So much to see. It’s also air conditioned inside so it’s nice to get in a get a break from the heat. We had a great time.

This is a great park. The new splash pad is small and isn't shaded directly, but there is plenty of shade around it with seating. The outdoor playground is huge and recently got sun sails so it mostly shaded. There are a few things that you need to pay for to do, but they are small amounts. The indoor playground, the train ride, and the carousel. The train ride is a ten minute ride around the park field and is so fun for the kids. There is a gift shop, and an ice cream/ snack bar also which are indoor and really nice. Plenty of seating throughout. Love this park.

Such a neat place! Large retired train cars throughout the park. They have a small train ride that's about an 8-10 min ride, a large carousel that you can ride either for $3 per person. Ages 2 and under are free. Huge outdoor playground with many unique obstacles. Lots of space to run and play. Small restaurant, museum, gift shop and a large miniature train set with interactive buttons. You can pay $12 for a wrist band for unlimited train and carousel rides for the day. Highly recommend and such a great value!

Nice place to visit. They have several different buildings to explore. The one with the miniature train sets is free and quiet expansive. The grounds are well kept and they have several areas for kids to play along with a small locomotive to take a ride on. Overall a wonderful place to go with large trees, benches, and beautiful shade.

Great place to take the kids. The highlight for me was the model train building. It was a huge building with model train lay outs from N scale to O scale. Unbelievable, the detail in the layouts. The train ride is more for kids, and is a short ride around the facility. The serve ice cream and good lunch foods. I had their chili with corn bread. It was home made I thought. Lots of train history to explore. It's not very expensive to get in , and is worth the time to experience.

A must-visit spot while you’re in town! I often travel solo for work and always look for places that are both fun and feel safe—this hike checks both boxes. It’s less than a mile, and once you park, it’s easy to find your way up by walking around the rock. If you’re into taking photos, I highly recommend going early in the morning—it’s peaceful and the lighting is perfect. I tried both morning and evening hikes, and while the evening had beautiful views, it was much busier with engagements, kids, and general crowds. Even if you don’t hike up, the base area is worth a visit—lush with palm trees and a serene pond, perfect for a relaxing walk.

Great place to hike! Huge variety of easy to moderate to difficult trails with some paved parts and ramadas and other more steep, mountainous parts. The rock formations are especially cool with lots of fun holes which can be entered and decent shade. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, also known as SMoCA, is a multi-gallery museum featuring rotating modern art and architecture displays along with a sculpture garden. The museum showcases surprising and thought-provoking exhibitions that challenge and dazzle visitors. It features installations such as 'The Air Around,' which explores the impact of poor air quality on the human body, and 'Language in Times of Miscommunication,' highlighting cracks in modern human interaction.
This was such a nice little contemporary arts museum! I know many people were saying how they thought this was really small, but I personally think it’s perfect that it is. Sometimes when you don’t want to spend hours in a museum, at least there’s this option and if you really enjoy art and love reading about each one, that alone takes time and adds more to the museum. The contemporary arts exhibits were sooo good! I really enjoyed seeing this one installation with lights and a symphony of music playing in waves with them, and that the current exhibits had some southwestern feel to it. They change it up every few months or so, of course. Workers were extremely nice and loved explaining some artwork in depth, if you want it. There’s also a little gift shop. Thursdays is a good day to come if you want to do the “Pay as you wish”.

It's a small venue with 4 or 5 exhibits going at the same time. Walked through will take about an 1 hr depending on how much time you spend at each peice. It is a nice indoor retreat from the summer heat. I suggest checking for their free times or if you are part of your local library. See if you can snag a culture pass for free entrance for the adults.

This review highlights one of workers who made visiting this museum more memorable. He is an older Hispanic gentleman, who speaks English and Spanish, by the name of Lou (I didn't get his name initially but the front desk was able to provide it to me). Lou was fantastic! He took the time to explain some of the art pieces to me and my mom. He also showed me how to view some of the art pieces from different angle to display something I wouldn't have notice on my own. However, my favorite exhibit was Infinite. I had no idea each sphere has a speaker and played by a string quartet. It plays for about 16 minutes, so watching the spheres illuminate and listening to the music during that time was magical. I told Lou how I enjoyed this museum more than the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego but he was part of the reason why I enjoyed it. Thank you, Lou for making this museum more wonderful 😊 Will definitely be making another visit.

Honestly my favourite museum to go to. The staff are so chill and welcoming. The fees are nonexistent, which is great if you’re a broke college student. The exhibits are always really creative in nature and at times interactive. Recently I may or may not have been trapped in the room full of lights (Life on Mars exhibit) for hours on end. Just staring at the shifting patterns and lights. Truly mesmerising. 10/10 would get hypnotised for free again. Honestly wish I had the money to donate to this place 😭

I had a wonderful time visiting the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. On the day that I went to visit with my family, they had limited exhibitions open because they were in the process of finalizing their full set of exhibits for the season. But the ones we were able to experience were extraordinarily and memorable. The “Squid Soup Infinite” room was fantastic and makes you want to stay there for hours. This is certainly a must visit for those visiting Arizona!

When we visited, two halls were being reinstalled, so we only saw a reduced exhibit. That was good enough, though the outdoor one was disappointing: it is to be seen during sunset or sunrise, not an obvious time to visit a museum.

Really cool! A short visit is all you need if you're pressed for time.. if you have time I could definitely have spent hours in the Squid space

The five gallery's were absolutely amazing. It's a must see
