Why did it take me so long to find this long time dive bar staple in Scottsdale? It will from now on be our first stop when we are in town. You got to look the time and commitment it took to put up all the Xmas ornaments. Great fun patrons and bartenders. Drinks are priced right and ample.

$4 beers under the lights. The Christmas lights are a vibe. +100 Aura. We ducked inside just as a heavy rain was coming through and it felt like a dream sheltering inside and having a few beers. Really worth a stop.

Vodka waters 10/10. They even squeeze your limes for you 🔥🍋‍🟩 Bonus points for Touch Tunes and misters 💦

Such a great spot!! I could have hung out here all day but there was more of Scottsdale to see…the breakfast burritos were awesome and the guy just had a tip jar…. No charge! Beers were cold and it was very comfortable despite the heat once you stepped outside the patio.

We are so lucky to live here!! Love this place, the staff, the regulars and especially Chef Tony!! I tell everyone his burgers on the grill are the best you can get in Scottsdale!! So glad it's football season again and Chef Tony is back!

This place had great atmosphere with all the lights. There are many different areas for sitting and enjoying the weather. There are also a lot of TVs to watch sports if that’s up your alley.

Great music and vibes! I have been here twice for bachelorettes we always have a good night. If you are a man, order mixed drinks as the ladies over pour. If you are a women, order canned drinks as the women bartender short pour. My vodka waters were just straight water. Security was on point we felt very safe the whole time!

Great spot! Service was awesome, waitresses were 🔥, drinks were delicious. We watched the Canello vs Crawford fight there and had a blast!

Food was delicious! Bartenders, Servers, and host are friendly. Service was good. Band was great. Not much room dancing, which was okay. Avoid ordering drinks that need mixed/made. Ordered mai tai, received something completely different, server replaced that for a moscow mule and there was no ginger beer in that. Bartender did add ginger beer after visiting the bar. Host girls gave advice on other bar atmospheres and location. Overall great time.

Bartenders are adding extra tips to credit card receipts. I tipped $6 and they decided they wanted $10 instead and added extra to the tip. They’re counting on you being too drunk to notice, but it was my one and only drink of the night and I wrote down what I I tipped on my copy of the receipt. I’ll be filing a police report. It’s not about the $4, it’s about the snake behavior.

This was our favorite visit while we were in Scottsdale. We loved the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Great place to go for dinner and stay for the bar night life.

Cool stop to go for a drink or two. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, all the sports on big screen TVs, and a massive screen showing the biggest game at the moment. Staff were very friendly, and the DJ was very good. My wife had the buffalo wings and thought they were delicious! Would recommend especially if you are a country music fan.

Had the best time here for my bachelorette party! The music was on point, the dancing didn’t stop, and the vibe was everything. Alex went above and beyond so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Huge thank you to the whole crew for making our night so much fun! A small hole in the wall no real seating. Jack and cokes were perfectly proportioned. But was so packed no real way to order a second round. Worth a stop to check it out and have a round. Though the drinks were a bit pricey.

Rusty buckle Saloon is amazing and so fun. Celebrated my birthday there and the food , music and service were AMAZING!!!!! Our waiter Justin was fantastic they all out! Highly recommend going there on any occasion!!

It can get very packed during evenings and weekends, so depending on your crowd preferences, you should plan accordingly. Parking is free but can be tricky to find depending on the time of day. All in all, it’s definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere and history alone!

Another visit Dec 2023. It doesn’t change from the last time. Always a good time and you get exactly what you expect from a classic dive cowboy bar!it’s just a Great small box cowboy dive bar. The decor is memorable and funny, esp the “big butt chairs”! We were there on a Sunday and they had a cowboy singer strumming a guitar and a few folks got up to dance in the middle of the bar! I love this venue for live music. There's always something for everyone here. We returned for a second time to watch the Amy Winehouse Experience, and they never disappointed us. The drinks are good, and the nachos fair+. This is not a place to be blown away by fine dining, but the items they do have well prepared. In short, if you love live music, this is the spot for you. After hours, it does turn into a move club atmosphere with a heart-pounding mix of today's jams.

I have gone to this bar a numerous amount of times and usually always have a great experience. 95% of the staff is always very kind and helpful- hence the 3 stars. However, I would like to highlight a particular experience that occurred last night, on Saturday 8/2/25. I have never experienced such blatant dis-respect from a staff member until this particular experience. I was ordering a drink at the upstairs “ski” section of the bar (on the right side) when I politely asked the bartender if he was able to make a specific drink, which he rudely screamed “NO” in response to my request. I then ordered an alternative drink, where he rudely screamed “CASH OR CARD” where I responded “card.” I was planning on handing my phone over for Apple Pay. He then rolled his eyes, ignored my order, and walked away. I was taken back by this and left in utter confusion, especially since typically, the payment method is asked at the END of the order. He then eventually circled back to me where I again ordered the same order and he screamed even more aggressively “CASH OR CARD!!!!”. I then responded the same as before, where he then decided to skip past me again, walk away, and ignore me to the point I had to leave and order from a different section of the bar. I am always incredibly polite when ordering, and have never been so taken back by an experience with a bartender and have never been treated with such disrespect. The entire rest of my night my ruined by this interaction. I have also never been asked “to pay”, or for my “payment method” before my order is even fulfilled. Maybe this particular bartender was just having a bad night, but that does not excuse the blatant disrespect and uncalled for treatment. I am leaving this review so that the Wasted Grain staff is aware that they have a staff member that is actively treating customers like this. I am sure I am not the only customer who has been treated like this by this particular bartender. Thank you.

Went twice during my brother's bachelor party weekend and had fun both times. Live band was great. Only dropping a star because when I bought a round of 11 shots, the bartender told me I didn't need to tip because I spent over $150 and gratuity of 22% was already added in, so I would be charged twice if I tipped. Was caught off guard by this. I didn't see any signs at the bar about this, and usually I tip $1-$2 a shot not $4-$5, that's a significant difference. If there were then I'll take some blame. Probably need better signage or at least say something before. I could have at least bought 2 rounds of 5-6 shots to avoid this.

If it's football season and you're a 49er fan and you're in the area, stop on by. Excellent atmosphere and plenty of seating. Staff is friendly as well. And if it's not football, stop on by anyways. Plenty of drink choices and bar menu. Plus outside entertainment.

Came here on a bike tour during a bachelorette weekend and it was a fun time! Well-priced drinks. Tasty drinks as well. And a relaxed atmosphere where you could dance or hang out with friends.

This is a nice little spot! They’ve got lots of options for draft beers, including some local brews! The service was attentive & quick, the bar was clean & there was live music so all around good vibes!

Not bad at all! Decent vibes, lots of space, digestible menu and relatively attentive staff. A bit pricey in my opinion. My nachos weren’t anything to write home about but my counter really liked their meals, buffalo cauliflower, veggie something meat lovers omelette and hash browns. Several games were playing and the jams kept me moving. Recommend!

Great vibe and an energetic, young crowd made the atmosphere absolutely lit! The excellent live band followed by DJ music kept everyone dancing and vibing. Service was impeccable. We were glad we arrived early to secure a spot, as a huge crowd was queuing outside by the time we left. Great space to accommodate different groups A fantastic place to hang out!

First time here. Great patio bar. Has lots of games too. Darts, pool, arcade basketball, smashing game. Lots of TVs, two pretty large ones, so good for watching games. Most of their seating is outside. Great for anytime but the hot months. There is inside seating, but mostly bar tops. Food was delicious. Only had 2 things, the duck fat fries, and steak quesadilla. The fries were amazing and a large portion. The quesadilla was yummy, nothing out of the ordinary. Service started off good, then dwindled down toward our departure and couldn't get their attention to bring the bill. I'll go back, I enjoyed it.

Can’t beat the environment for watching games - large screens and a patio! Music was really all over the place (kinda sucked). Food and service were mediocre. Shrimp wrap left much to be desired. Come to drink, pass on food.

This place could be so much more if they actually put money into the place for what they charge. Stained worn out furniture for those who spend thousands and then those who dont have no lockers to put their stuff so you see nasty shoes, socks, and clothing sprawled out everywhere. I love the vibe, but with a few tweaks they could have this place could be fabulous

Inconsistent drink prices (I paid $15, $18, and $20 for the same exact drink). Security leaders, door security are always unnecessarily impatient and aggressive. Unclear dress code. Been going here for 5+ years and it's always been the same vibe, bartenders/bottle girls and non-management security just constantly switching out. I only go here if it's a concert from Relentless Beats. Never would voluntarily go here without a reputable DJ - even with these events, atmosphere is always off. Seen the same artists at different local venues and always a better crowd.

The music and the atmosphere was pretty good. It's the security guards that were the issue. I had got a little motion sickness and had a little too much water, so I had to go to the restroom and throw up. It was all water, all liquid and I hadn't touched any alcohol yet. They had a guy working the bathroom who went and told security, and they came and told me I had to leave. I tried to explain but they didn't care. When asked if I could go grab my stuff and grab my partner, they told me they do it, and I had to leave. They didn't know where any of my stuff was and didn't even know who I was talking about. When told that, they got upset and try to shuffle me off faster. I'm not upset about being forced to leave, i'm upset that you're forcing people to leave their stuff and not even taking the couple seconds to find out where it is. Ruined a perfectly good afternoon, and left a bad taste. Do better.

i got dress coded for my top being too low. many other girls had more revealing tops than me. bouncer pointed at my breasts looked me up and down and told me he couldnt let me in. I saw girls with much more scandalous outfits inside. I really believe they just didnt want me in there because I am a bigger girl. Completely disgusting attitude and way to treat women. Borderline discrimination.

I was thoroughly impressed. Top notch food. Drinks, service...atmosphere, ALL on point. 10 out of 10. I enjoyed it so much on my own, that I brought my fiance back later the same weekend.

We had a spectacular time at AZ 88. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable! The drinks are served in glasses large enough to bathe in....I kid but they are definitely biggie size. We ordered flatbread and dragon chicken wings and were satisfied. The ambiance was nice. Interesting highlight, the bathrooms are out of this world. Make sure you see the restrooms when you visit. We went during happy hour on a Thursday night and there were many parties there but not over crowded. I heard it can get pretty busy on the weekends so plan accordingly. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

Ate dinner here before going to a concert at the Scottsdale Center. Were seated right away around 5:45 pm, but shortly after it got much busier. The music was maybe a tad loud, but at least it doesn't feel like you're eavesdropping on your neighbors. I had Elsa's chicken, which was delicious. Had the key lime tart for dessert, which I'd highly recommend. Our waitress was great. The restrooms are at the back, with the signage on the tall doors being just above the floor, so you can't see it until you're very close. Maybe that was done for aesthetics, but quite a few people got confused.

I was craving a cheeseburger and remembered going to AZ88 in my younger days. It did not disappoint! The cheeseburger is still one of my favorites in Phoenix, and the drinks are amazing. Since I had a beer I had to steal some sips from my family. This place is phenomenal.

We just love AZ88 for its artistic journeys during every experience. The burger is the choice with great service and what we call infinity pool martinis! A must when visiting Old Town Scottsdale!

The vibe gives luxurious Palm Springs while being laid back and welcoming. The espresso martini with tequila hits the spot and the AZ88 salad is a must try.

It's definitely a vibe. I stopped by with some old college buddies. This is definitely a younger crowd and a bit out of my age demographic, but this place really gets jumping at night. If you're not hip to the club scene like us old timers. It's cool to have a couple of stiff drinks, jam out to the music, and just people watch. If you are a club hopper and under the age of 35, the Riot Hose is the place to be. The drinks are deliciously strong and served by sexy and scantily clad lady bartenders, which I certainly do not mind. For a price, you can reserve a table, which I believe comes with bottle service. Overall, we had a good experience. However, we did not dine here and have no clue what the food is like.

The best experience of our trip! Staff were super kind and accommodating. We got a free golf cart ride to the club from Montauk. (Risky? Yes. Worth it? Also yes) Music was ❤️‍🔥 We were seated in a booth right by the entrance with our bachelorette party + they provided vodka bottle service on the house!

So many clubs in this area GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! Staff and security are not helpful or attentive. We were told we could not pour our own drinks, but whenever we looked for a server they were no where to be found. Another group tried moving into our table and no staff or security was around to assist with removing them. Another person pushed over somebody in my group causing the table lift up and land on her foot. The response from security was to take an ibuprofen. When asking to speak with somebody in charge we were directed to a member of security, he was very dismissive and could not offer any solution. He told us he would file a formal report which I found hard to do considering he did not take down any of our personal information. There has still been no follow up 3 weeks later. It was very disappointing to see how the situation was handled. They clearly do not care about their customers. I wish I listened to reviews and recommendations of locals not to go to this club. Again with SO many other options, I would stay FAR AWAY from this club!

Went on a Sunday night. So i don’t know what it’s like on a Friday/Saturday. It was definitely a vibe for sure ! 10/10 highly recommend to check it out. The music was great. The drinks were great as well.

Horrible place. The walls around the DJ set fell on my foot, it hurt so bad I didn't know what to do. I tried to talk to an employee but no one seemed to care. I tried to speak to a bartender but laughed and was told my kind wasn't welcomed. I am Latino, don't want to believe it was cause of how I looked but no one wanted to help. I took myself to the ER and never went back. I am disappointed on how riot house handled the situation I don't want anyone to one to feel the way I did. Please if you are colored or even white and care about equality, please know you are treated differently there. Go somewhere else.

Had an awesome experience booking my VIP table through the sales manager, Josh! Also had a great experience with the General Manager. They were both very accommodating!

We stopped by for a quick bite and a a happy hour round. Outside patio was A++, very shady with misters if needed. Service was immaculate. Two rounds and an appetizer was about $60.

We’ve visited Beverly three times now and each time is always a delight. The drink names are always a laugh and they taste even better. The food is good, we enjoy the pretzel appetizer and the flatbreads!

Went here last Wednesday for a last-minute girls’ night 💃✨ First time visiting while in town! I kept it simple with wings and decided to be adventurous with a new drink. The waitress let me know it was really smoky, and when I mentioned it was a bit much for me and didn't want to waste it, she offered to adjust it with some extra sweetness (strawberry ingredient). Loved the fix and really appreciated the great service 🙌. The sides and drink selection was 10/10. Loved the whiskey menus and the server was very knowledgeable about choices and selections. The steak was 8/10. I got the Chicago ribeye and just wasn’t my favorite ribeye I’ve ever gotten.

This place has a good vibe and seemed like a good spot to go. Their menu looked decent online. I’m traveling solo so I thought it would be easy to pop in and get a drink, especially since they weren’t very busy. I got in the establishment, no problem. I checked with the host and she said that the bar and patio was open seating. The bar was packed so I found a nice table on the patio, and I was excited to try an espresso martini. I sat for a while and no one approached me. And then after about ten minutes, the door man told me I had to move because it was reserved. He told me I needed to check with the host, and I told him that she said I could sit on the patio. He made me get up anyways so I left. Pretty disappointed because I thought it was gonna be a nice little ending to my night but I was wrong. Lesson learned…. I guess you need to make a reservation if you want a good experience here. Idk. The staff wasn’t very helpful and like they didn’t have time for me as a solo individual.

Happy Hour is my time. The Old Fashioned is my main drink but Tha Maple on Main is close second. Inside at the bar is my favorite spot. Great people and service makes this long standing place a must go to when in the area.

I love this place! I have not visited very often, but each time I do I really enjoy myself. I am an 80's metalhead so the music is perfect to have a couple of beers to!! I have seen a couple of live shows here as well and both times had a blast. I was here on Saturday August 16th and the service was interesting. One bartender, the female, was excellent and provided great service, while the other bartender, the male, seemed as though he was miserable to be there. It did not interfere with my good time! Prices are good for old-town Scottsdale!

Cool little spot for a quick drink up on the patio. Downstairs was packed for a band, so we never went inside, but everyone seemed to be having a good time. Parking garage right behind the bar makes getting there easy. Couple tvs above the bar so its a fun spot to people watch on the patio and down below while also catching a game.

We were visiting family and celebrating my son’s bday (we’re from Philly) and it felt like we were literally at a Philly bar (minus the weather at home lol)! Great atmosphere, but get there early on game days or you’ll be standing, we posted upstairs on the roof top deck, got a spot at least with bar space (met an expat from NJ, hi Gianna!) to eat some great wings and drinks! I also was the winning bidder on a signed Eagle’s jersey for a local puppy charity, ended up in the DJ booth, Ray shouted out my son’s bday and the Eagles won! Great, Great time, thank you Rock Bar for the hospitality, will definitely be back!

We have been here a couple of times and it is always hopping. This last time they had an 80's band, The Chadwicks, on a Tuesday night. They were loud and sounded pretty much like the original bands singing the songs. The DJ had the 80's video playing at the same time as the band was singing that song. The crowd sang along. It was pretty cool. The bartenders were friendly. There is an upstairs covered patio with TV's and a small bar if I remember right. The views are nice up there. The place is all about rock and roll. It can be a tad dark in there, but we like that. No dress code to speak of. Some folks were in t-shirts and shorts and others were in slacks and collared shirts. Girls were the same....from t-shirts to heels. We love this place in Old Town Scottsdale.

We had pizza and wings. Get the honey siracha wings. I haven’t had pizza and wings combo this good in a long time! Service was great and atmosphere is fantastic!

The food was fantastic! We shared a Birria Quesadilla and it was plenty for two, well seasoned, and truly some of the tastiest food we’ve had in the Phoenix area. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun. I’m only giving 3 stars because they added a 22% gratuity during the 7 PM hour, for a 2 top, which was rude. I have plenty of grace for challenges in restaurant work and our order was forgotten for about 15 min. Our server felt badly and we didn’t mind waiting, but we did want to order food…but she walked away before we could. If you’re going to automatically add gratuity, especially over 20%, the service better be outstanding. This service was fine and I might have voluntarily tipped even more if given the opportunity. I certainly would be leaving a better review.

House betting is live here! I won a bunch of money just messing around. Bevvy is the only place open for lunch in Scottsdales entertainment district. They have a few really healthy meal Options. I love their protein bowl. It's soooo goood! They have a new fall Cocktail menu that is also unreal.

This place was so much fun! Went in for a drink around midnight on a Friday and ended up staying for a while watching music videos and dancing. There were several tables to set my drink down on and stand by, that’s a plus in my book especially because it was quite crowded. The music videos were honestly the best part, so many I’d never even seen. They played mostly hip hop music and played the music videos to match. When the songs mashed up so did the videos, I thought that was pretty awesome.

Very fun place located in downtown Scottsdale. Great service, music and great food menu. We enjoyed a few beers here and some nice salads.

I go to Bevvy 3-5 times a week and let me tell you, it’s always a phenomenal experience. The bartender Chelsea was one of the best I’ve ever had. She was extremely nice and conversational. I hope she’s my bartender every time! The food was amazing. I got the brunch burger and it was the perfect way to cure my hangover. I highly recommend this place.

I like coming here for their Sunday Funday specials. They have really great champagne and sangria drink specials along with an excellent brunch menu. I love that their menu is healthy! There's TV so you can watch sports and there's also a DJ on the weekends during brunch. I definitely recommend their protein bowls.

SCAMMERS!!! My friends and I were so excited to go here for my bachelorette and were significantly overcharged for our drinks on purpose I think... On the receipt you will see 2 of their Signature Drinks: (2) 23 in Me for $92 (?!?!!) and (1) Grow a Pair Double for $33! Our group had people from Miami, Boston, and NYC and have NEVER had drinks this expensive!! They don't display their prices on the menu which should be illegal! I would not recommend going here because this absolutely ruined the night for a lot us when we did not expect this large of a charge but if you absolutely have to go here DO NOT ORDER THOSE DRINKS!!

Place is fun but I ordered 2 drinks. A vodka soda and a bud light and they charged me 44 dollars. With a 8 dollar service charge and I paid cash. Wierd. I live in New York and it's cheaper. Place would be better if they didn't take advantage of people and over charge. Alos the bar vendor couldn't tell me what the 8 dollar service fee was for. She just say ok. They take advantage of people on vacation here. Fun Place but they take advantage

this place is a rip-off. I only came to have a drink with some food as soon as it opened at 6p but was charged 12 dollars per beer during "happy hour," but was told happy hr don't exist during summer even though it's on the menu. Plus, I was charged a venue fee and a 10 dollar service fee. after all that i noticed they charged me 2 dollar extra on the food. I notified them and they took the extra charge off.

The show here's the deal like everybody else I enjoy going out to a nice restaurant bar receiving some great service good food and good decent prices. What I found here is a typical Old Town Road place. Albeit great service everyone was pretty knew what they were doing got along well worked as a great team and made sure that you had everything you wanted. But service comes at a price other than the 10 to 12 dollars per Corona even the manager agreed that the average price there was $2 above everyone else because of their service and professionalism that they give. What I didn't expect or appreciate was the secret service fee if they charge every Bill gets this added what do you buy a bucket our bill was about $70 and we were charged 84 for a service fee that nobody could really explain supposedly the service fee is for just that service that they provide but I thought that was supposed to be in the cost or in the gratuity. Well I appreciate a lot while I appreciate all that I will never go back there too many other places where I can save a buck or two

Worst place ever! Bartender charged us $50 for two well vodka drinks and included 25% gratuity for himself without telling us! Do not go there! Also, they text people back on Google to email them, To an email address that’s not legitimate! Literally, every email address they give someone is different! Just read the comments. And they’ve given me two different email addresses, lol! Please don’t go there, they don’t care about customers, they care only about price gouging!

I visited this place and encountered two individuals who behaved extremely poorly. They seemed to revel in their power trip, harassing and intimidating others without any justification. Their behavior was completely uncalled for and ruined my experience. It's concerning that such individuals are allowed to frequent this establishment without consequence. I would strongly advise against patronizing this place until they address these issues and ensure the safety and comfort of all customers.

09/19/2023. I was there at happy hour. The place was absolutely dead. Saw an article in the local news so came to check out the atmosphere. Since the place was dead and I didn’t get anything to eat, I’ll only review my single experience there, which was the consumption of 1 beer. This establishment is a drink price-gouger. Their drinks are terribly overpriced and expensive. And that’s why I left after 1 beer. I drink a very plain boring beer. Nothing fancy. Outside of happy hour, this place wants $12 for a single bottle of Miller Light!!!!! $12!!!!! I can’t begin to imagine what mixed drinks cost. I had the 1 beer and left. Never more.

A great place for late night drinks and dancing and to socialize. It gets pretty busy and loud. I like the energy. They do add an auto gratuity so look at your receipt.

We came here with our family an 8 top and they accommodated us wonderfully! We had a reservation and had excellent service. Most of us had drinks and they were all delicious! I had the steak tacos and wow it hit the spot! The meat is incredibly tender and full of flavor. We all loved the guacamole as well which we got 2 orders of. The energy here is very modern. We will definitely come back again. Definitely a great experience, service, food, and atmosphere!

We visited The Mission in Scottsdale after landing, with my husband, daughter-in-law, and grandson. It was just before the dinner hour, and while the restaurant itself had a nice setting, the service unfortunately left much to be desired. The hostess looked exhausted and not very welcoming, and our waitress greeted us with a tone right from the start. When my grandson asked if there were other drink options besides what she listed, she curtly responded, “What I told you is what we have, nothing else.” He then decided on a Shirley Temple, which arrived without any syrup and tasted off. When we mentioned it, she replied, “I made it and oh maybe the syrup is out,” but didn’t seem too concerned. The only time we saw her smile was when she handed my husband the check. On the positive side, the mahi mahi tacos were delicious. However, there were no food options for toddlers, and overall the service didn’t feel friendly or attentive. Considering the cost of dining out, it just wasn’t worth it. For us, this won’t be a place we try again.

We had the carnitas for two - absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this meal. We also ordered the guacamole which was served and prepared table side, which was fantastic. They even allow you to measure the amount of heat with the Serano peppers, so if you like it spicy or mild, you could get it however you would like. Chips and salsa were top notch, thin, crispy chips, and a very good salsa that was light and refreshing. We got the duck empanadas for appetizer, which were absolutely delicious. Unlike any empanada I’ve ever eaten. For dessert, we got their homemade ice cream, I would consider it to basically be Mexican Street corn, which was really good and really unique and very light and taste and palate cleansing. Our waitress was outstanding and suggested are entrée and dessert which we were very grateful for!

If you are looking for delicious 😋 Mexican come here I am vegan/vegetarian and ate butternut squash tacos(🌮 so good And the best I ever ate). I also had the cauliflower entree and it was also good. Then my husband raved about his braised short rib tacos and they were...a WOW factor! Our friends ordered chicken tacos and they were raving about theirs too. Jesse was an excellent waiter and took pictures of all of us.

We're from Austria in Europe and visited The Mission on our trip through the southwestern United States in our rented RV. We were quickly and easily assigned a table, and the friendly, smiling server immediately asked us what we wanted to drink and promptly brought water and the wine we ordered. The specialty, which most people eat here, is the guacamole. It's prepared at the table by a staff member and tastes delicious. A visit is definitely worth it; highly recommended. Klaus & Karin

It's been many years since we have been to The Mission, so I was happy to return for a birthday meal. They sat us promptly at our reservation time and I received excellent attention from all staff, including some happy birthday wishes. The table side guac is always a nice treat with a marg. I forgot you can sit outside, may try that next time.

Service was a bit slower than expected but overall a really great experience. The guac is top tier, I was going to order the corn and the server immediately made me change my mind and I don’t regret switching. You can tell the fresh preparation in all of the food. I’d definitely come back again when visiting Arizona.

Traveling for a birthday dinner and we were absolutely blown away. The staff paid incredible attention to detail and helped explain everything. The meatballs and garlic bread appetizer were tender and flavorful. We both ordered the ribeye medium rare with beefed up butter. We both could not believe how delicious the steak was combined with the butter and bone marrow. We got sides of potatoes el gratin and brussel sprouts that paired nicely together. One of the best steaks we have had and we travel a lot. We finished with the gooey butter torte and scrapped the plate clean in satisfaction. If you’re in the area and want a special dinner add this to your itinerary. I recommend making reservations in advance.

Love the fresh seafood and upbeat, yet laid back, atmosphere here for brunch, dinner and the Tower Hour. All have been luxurious and satisfying with friendly and professional service. We will certainly be back again soon. This time we enjoyed complimentary drinks and onion dip with caviar to start. We followed with mezcal and a draft IPA, then started with a roasted seafood tower with butter, chili oil and pasta finished table side. My husband and I went there to celebrate for my birthday. The food was great! I love the seafood tower. You can really taste the wood fire smokes. The seasoning was excellent touch. The steak was also good. The wedge salad was surprisingly very good. The onion ring made it so much better! The bone marrow was a bit too salty in my opinion. However, for the price of the food I feel like I could go somewhere else. The chocolate cake wasn’t that good. Don’t recommend it. The service was not so great. Usually when we visit fancy restaurants, they ask if we are celebrating anything or if there’s special occasion. The waiter didn’t ask and we didn’t really had a chance to share that we were celebrating my birthday. I was kinda bummed out because I thought my husband had noted it in the reservation. I didn’t get the cool menu that others get for their birthdays. The waiter was very pushy for ordering food. There were only the two of us and we already ordered big entree portions but the waiter kept on asking us if we wanted appetizers even after my husband said no. We ended up getting the wedge salad. The salad was good but we had so much leftovers because we had too much food. The atmosphere was great for dates and special occasions! Love the vibe and overall aesthetic of the restaurant.

Tracy is amazing! She not only gave us exceptional service, but was just a great person. She was making jokes and being a part of our girls group while staying professional and helpful. It was our first time there and she made my birthday special with her great service!

Maple & Ash Scottsdale was worth every penny — hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The vibe was amazing from the moment I walked in. The food was amazing. The service was top-tier without being uptight, and the whole night felt special. It’s definitely a splurge, but totally worth it. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Wow, what an experience! My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and our wedding anniversary and I’m so happy we chose Maple and Ash! From the complimentary welcome drink and app, to ambience, to the service, and not to mention how perfect the food was. Unbelievable! Drea was our server and she was amazing. We didn’t feel rushed through dinner, enjoyed each course thoroughly with lots of time to chat in between. It wasn’t too quiet like most steakhouses, a great house music playlist. The beef tartare was a new experience for me but so delicious. The pillows of love were insane. We shared the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. Espresso martini was very coffee heavy but tasted amazing. 10/10. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing customer service! They took care of our large group. We didn't have a reservation but they graciously welcomed us. We went from a party of 16 to 40, and they just kept accommodating for us. Their hospitality was beyond our expectations. Food was also delicious.

I don’t have much experience with country music bars, but this great honky tonk will be the benchmark against which I will judge all others. The inside harkens to a better saloon than Hollywood could imagine, with neon bar signs, deer heads, antique guns, brothel mirrors, bull horns, farm implements you can’t identify, Western paintings, irreverent signs, and a wood-plank dance floor. Every inch of the beamed ceiling is covered with cowboy hats of the famous and not-so-famous. There are only two rules, which need not be enforced: have fun and no snivellin’. On our first visit we happily squeezed 6 people around a high top in the middle of the action. On future visits our favored spot will be at the outside side of the bar on a warm night, where we can see the inside action across the very busy bar: the live band in the corner (without chicken wire — name those movies) and the dance floor just big to swing or dip your partner, and just small enough to make it intimate. Before the band starts inside, there is some lower-key live music on the spacious outside patio, which is also a great place to escape to if you prefer conversation to the hoopin’, hollerin’, and boot stompin’ inside. Before the excellent, request-only country band took over for the recorded music, they led the entire bar in a standing Pledge of Allegiance (you never forget these words, no matter how long it’s been). This part amazed me but I’ve since been told by country bar flies that the National Anthem is more common. We loved it and were gratified that people are proud to be proud of this great country. As for food, the much-vaunted ribs were excellent, as was the pulled pork sandwich. We both ordered wine and didn’t even fear being beaten up (other tables had some too; safety in numbers). Big issue trying to get seated. They won't let a single diner sit in a 4 person table or higher. Just do it anyways. RIBS were definitely top notch as was fries and biscuits. Country cover band was playing and they were average. Good crowd for a $10 Friday night cover charge. Had a well done burger and cole slaw for$15

What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was fantastic, with a perfect mix of great vibes, delicious food, and welcoming staff. We especially enjoyed the live music and the patio seating—it made the night even more enjoyable. The employees truly made the evening special; by the time we left, we felt like part of the family. A huge shoutout to Yvonne, Ashi, Camille, and Blayne for their outstanding service and hospitality. The ribs here are excellent, super tender and flavorful and the half rack with fries and a biscuit was worth it. Just be aware the seating can be tricky if you’re dining solo since they seem to prioritize larger groups.

After paying a $10 cover charge per person, We ordered our food. The lettuce in the salad was brown, the bun for the burger was burnt. The water was tap water, not filtered. After eating and not complaining, we were told we had to leave our table so others could be seated to eat. There was no where else to sit. The only good thing about this establishment was the band that was playing. We left and will not go back in the future. To many other places to enjoy!

I've been here several times and never really had any issues—until this past Friday night. Many of the men were overly aggressive and in our faces. One man in particular (in the photo) kept grabbing women, including me and my friend. We repeatedly told him to stop and leave us alone, even physically pushing him away. He continued to get in my friend’s face- security is watching this happen. We alerted a different security guard instead, they shook hands with the guy, smiled, and carried on with their night. Security laughed in our faces and never followed up with us about the incident. The security guard standing next to the man (on the left in the picture) did absolutely nothing. It honestly felt like we were fighting for our safety in that place. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like security not only didn’t care—but allowed this behavior/harassment to happen. I won’t be returning to this location. #DoBetterScottadale

Your bouncers denied my child entry with a valid ID showing she is over the legal age to be there and after denying her, they proceeded to give back someone else's ID entirely. Seek better help. Get better (qualified) bouncers. Good thing there's other bars who were paid for valuable service. This asinine service will be known publicly.

I came to El Hefe this past weekend. I liked the music the DJ played, this included Reggeaton, Hip-Hop and R&B. The vibe of the music got the dance floor packed. I had fun.

Always a blast at El Hefe. Awesome music tonight with a mix of EDM and dance pop. Great place for social, cocktails and dancing.

We had a fun girls night out to El Hefe. We had a table and the service was great! The staff were also attentive when people tried to join our table and allowed us to feel protective when drunk guys were lurking around. Music was great and vibey the night flew by so fast. We had a great time!

I have been wanting to come here since I moved to Arizona to see what it’s about. To it’s a roof top bar that’s only two stories high. When I think of. Rooftop bar I think of the Pearch in Downtown LOS Angeles. Now that’s a rooftop bar. Very small, very crowded, and it takes a long time to get drinks. The staff is friendly and the music was great. I went on a Saturday but it may be different on the days you go.

Had a great time there. The bartenders were awesome and had great customer service, Chris and Jamie. They were very attentive and the food was good. The ambiance was nice and it wasn't to busy on a Sunday afternoon.

LOVED the idea of this place and the space! When we got there, there was no hostess the bartender finally told us to sit anywhere inside (without reserved seating) which left 3 choices, or go around the back to "patio", we said we wanted the rooftop, he said yes around the bar to the back. No seating outside, so back inside we went & we sat at one of the few spots available. The waitress was GREAT! Another waitress came over and asked if we wanted outside seating which was awesome on her part, so we went outside to enjoy the app and wine. Appetizer was good. High quality but rich& too fatty meats for our taste but very good tasting & quality! Wine was DELISH!!!! Servers were super friendly but it took quite some time for us to get our check. Overall just an okay experience. Music was decent. Needs more seating, for sure!!!

Had a great time at the white out party! I had a friend who was having a birthday party. The drinks were a little overpriced but the service was on point! When you have bottle service it was absolutely worth it! Great diverse group of people I would definitely go back!

My husband and I went to the yellow attire event at the Casablanca Lounge for my birthday on a Saturday night about a month ago. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed. The live band was on point and the atmosphere was very lively. The outside patios had great views and the cheese platter was yummy. Another table ordered some wings which smelled delectable from where we were sitting. We danced to the live band and also to the DJ in the VIP room and had a great time the entire night.

The atmosphere is great, with a nice lookout over the water. Looks like it doesn't get busy until much later after we went, but that's fine. We ordered the wings and were told they were buffalo that week. When we got the wings they were a little tough and not buffalo at all, but still pretty good. Our server was nice and the service was quick.

I had such a great experience with Arizona Bike! our driver, Enik, was amazing—professional, friendly, and made the whole ride comfortable and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Arizona Bike, and if you can, ask for Enik—she’s the best!

Captain Ian and Captain John were great!! We had a group of 18 on a bachelorette. We stopped at 3 fun locations and even had time for a parking lot party before our last stop. If you haven't done a pedal bike before, this is a fun and adventurous way to see Old Town! Arizona party bike was super easy to work with. They answered a handful of questions before booking, and made the private booking process very easy. Highly recommend!!

Tuesday night we took a Arizona Party Bike tour to celebrate two of our girlfriends and had an Amazing time!! Our captain, Jacob, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best Tuesday night ever!

Captain T-Dogggggggg made our day unforgettable! From the moment we stepped on board, he had the music blasting and was singing along to all our favorite songs. He kept the energy high, got everyone involved in fun games along the way, and made sure our drinks stayed ice-cold at every stop. Enic was epic! What a scENIC ride! We’ve lived in Scottsdale for a few years and have always seen the party bikes. We had some friends visiting and thought it would be a fun hilarious activity and it absolutely was! Totally worth it. Biking, dancing, drinking - what more could you want!?!

They were super fast responders and helped me with every question I had. The process was easy and the whole experience was amazing! Jacob was the perfect captain and made the night very fun! Highly recommend doing one of these when out in Scottsdale.

I was at The Hot Chick for an event and let me say this place is fantastic! The staff was pretty awesome. The food was delicious (especially for how many people they fed). The Dj was on point! You can tell they're used to dealing with big crowds. Would definitely go back and highly recommend for your event.

An adult version of Dave & Buster’s — such a cute concept! There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, a ton of fun arcade games for adults, and they play great music. The bar area has lots of TVs, perfect for catching a sports game while hanging out. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t rate that part, but overall it’s a fun spot to unwind and play.

Natalie was hands down the best server at The Hor Chick! From start to finish, she made our drag brunch experience absolutely perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and so much fun—always checking on us without being overbearing. Even with the brunch chaos and all the energy of the show, Natalie never missed a beat. She made great recommendations, kept the drinks coming, and had such a warm, upbeat personality that made us feel like VIPs.

Took my 90yo Grandma to Drag Bingo tonight (shout out to Barbara, always amazing) and our server, NATALIE, went above & beyond for her. She took the time to listen to her story and I know my grandma will share this night out with the whole family for years to come. This was my first time here, (my second time in Arizona) but I did not go to gay brunch. The host was funny, the champagne was decent and the food was regular due to me not eating Spicy food so often so I had it ‘naked’. The DJ needed some work, no reflection of the establishment honestly. Once the actual drag show started, everything was good to go. (only reason I rated 4 and not 5 stars). The drags were entertaining beyond their performances.(Dry comedy, if you don’t like it- DON’T COME!) As the afternoon moved along, more people walked in. The girl at the food area was very insightful on this new champagne special they have. $5 Champagne when you order food <$10. You can share the bottle too, like WTH!😍 Security is kind. Bar staff are attentive. But the DJ for today has to do better.

I’ve always thought about getting hair extensions and was nervous to pull the trigger, but Brittanie exceeded my expectations with the result and made the process fun as well 😊 I am extremely happy with my hair - the blend to my natural color is flawless, texture is well-matched, and the quality is amazing. As someone who is generally fairly low maintenance I was also concerned about caring for the hair/styling myself, but have found this to be a breeze as well. I will definitely be continuing to see Brittanie in the future and highly recommend her and Dakota London to anyone who is considering extensions 🤗💕

Came here for the 90s pop-up and the theme was awesome- super fun and nostalgic. Service was excellent, but unfortunately the food didn’t hold up. My chicken wings tasted like the fryer oil hadn’t been changed, and the themed drinks were pricey for being just okay. For how expensive everything was I expected better. What really took away from the experience was the music volume: the music was crazy loud and the DJ was screaming nonstop. The space is pretty small, and since we were here for brunch, it felt more like being in a nightclub than a brunch spot. On top of that, it ended at 3 pm- which we didn’t realize. Good place to stop for a drink and move on to the next spot.

Came here on a Thursday night and made reservations since it was close to Halloween. It’s such a cool, cozy bar that’s always decked out in a theme — this time it was Halloween, and they nailed it! The decor was cute and spooky at the same time. Loved the vibe. They even had a fun competition going on, which made the night more exciting. The staff was super attentive, and while the drinks and food were okay, the atmosphere definitely made up for it.

I had the wings, coming from the north east coast- the wings were meh - I'm used to Buffalo wings. The atmosphere and service staff were top notch for a theme bar. FYI they charge a greedflation fee of 4%. I'd go back just for the 90s nostalgia

Fun place to visit. Our server Jimmy was awesome and made sure our visit was top notch. The flatbread pizza was fabulous and the atmosphere was all horror--perfect for our horror-lover's birthday lunch. Now to try their other themes throughout the year!

Myself and a group of girlfriends visited this spot for their Halloween themed spooky bar. They fully committed the to theme. We appreciated the fun yet spooky decor, live DJ, themed cocktails, and comforting food. We shared the loaded tater tot’s and they were spicy and SO good. The wings were also very delicious. This was a perfect spot for a fun night with friends.

They put a lot of creativity into the decor and menu; so much to look at and so much fun. The drinks were on the sweet side, but albeit, one of a kind. We did snack on the wings, and they were probably one of the better wings I've ever had crispy and juicy! Service was just okay, but it was also Halloween and when we had her, she was very friendly and suggestive. The best thing about this place I think is all of the thought that they put into the decor the menu and the specialty cocktails. I'm told they have good food.I'll have to go back.

I’ve always loved this place, but last week i found out they did 25 cent wings on Wednesdays and $1 burgers on Thursday. Of course i was skeptical because THATS SO CHEAP. But we went and tried the wings and they’re spectacular! Crispy and well seasoned. I will report back on the burger! This place is an absolute blessing. And the Halloween decoration is amazing too!

Nice atmosphere here. Asked for a NA mojito and received some fizzy lime juice with a salad of mint on top. I watched her make it and it was clear she had no idea about proportions of the mixer & simple syrup, and never muddled it. To be fair, mojitos aren’t on the menu, but also to be fair, they had no NA options. 1 star for menu not being inclusive to all guests and not knowing how to make a mojito.

Get refused to be server the bald guy because he says it maybe “fake ID” and he could may just keep them?? Even we say we can show him the bank that match our name on the ID. He say he has the authority to. They said they “ dont like any of us” hello?? Sep 14 22:00. We purchased tickets for a party after the WM open. It was 4 women for a fun girls night out. When we arrived and put our card down they asked for our ID. I told the waitress I wasn't comfortable giving her my ID, so she handed one back to me. When it was time for us to close out, my girlfriend went before me to get her ID and they told her they didn't have it. She asked for a manager. The manager was unhelpful, and acted rude to her and gave her no solution except... we don't have it. I finally came up after about 5 minutes and looked in my purse. They had handed me her ID when I requested mine initially, so the issue was solved very quickly and my ID was found and returned to me. I thought nothing of the interaction. We then went downstairs to find our other friend who was helping someone get an uber. When we couldn't find her, we tried to go back upstairs to get her and they barred the entry saying we were inebriated and they could tell because we were "stumbling". I had 3 drinks in 3 hours and was not intoxicated. I am a 50+ YO doctor and have never been treated with such disrespect in my entire life. I argued about getting let in to find my girlfriend. Juan (name he told me at least) insisted that he would not let me back in and to just "text" my friend and even tried to stop us from heading to the downstairs bar. It was the most bizarre interaction I have ever had at an establishment. I finally was able to convince them after about 20 minutes that I needed to find our friend so we could leave. I am still fuming. We paid money to attend this lame party and were treated like drunk 20 year olds with fake IDs. I am a titanium Marriott member and timeshare owner. I will never go back.

Music is too loud by the bar...but by the pool it's fine. Drinks are spendy...but atmosphere was fun and inviting

Atmosphere was fun. Service was terrible. Came in for a quick brunch at 11:30am on a Sunday. Ordered fairly quickly, received our drinks, and over an hour later our food still hadn’t arrived. The waitress said she would go check but never came back with an update. Another 15 minutes passed and our food arrives. We look at it and it looks like it has been sitting out for a good 20 minutes. The avocado on the avocado toast had turned brown and the cilantro looked like steamed spinach. The toast on my sandwich was rock hard and the fries cold. The plastic plate that one meal was served on was warped. The eggs started to crust over. It was pretty bad. The manager stopped by and asked us how the food was because he could tell we looked pretty disappointed. I told him it looked like it has been sitting out for 20 minutes and he said when he saw it was done it was brought up right away. He asked if we would like our food to be remade but warned us there was only one line cook so that it might be awhile. At that point we had already wasted so much time waiting around I asked for our tab (a round of drinks) so that we could leave. I’m not sure why he thought it was okay to put out food that was in that condition let alone lie about it not sitting out. I’ve worked in the service industry for years so I know what food looks like when it has been forgotten about. Anyways, attached is a picture of the very sad looking avocado toast because now all I can do is laugh about it.

My Wife and I love going here when we visit Arizona.... have yet to stay at the hotel but the host a day pool party pretty much everyday.... I believe it's free to get in during the week days and if you're NOT a guest at the hotel it's only$20 to get in on the weekend (Fri-Sun)... which honestly is not that bad considering you get a live dj as well..... drinks are pricey but it's the W, it's expected.

Club had a great atmosphere and music however, they were unable to appropriately take care of obviously intoxicated and over-served patrons. Workers observed drunken person attack our group at the bar. The bartender was laughing during the altercation. The security personnel escorted us out despite our neutral sense and not participating in the act of the intoxicating patrons. This is disappointing because we were celebrating a bachelorette party. The security did an inadequate job at diffusing the situation and following up on paying patrons who are well-behaved.

I visited this club for a bachelorette party and I was blown away. I had never been to anything this fancy. It’s a party in here. Staff is attentive, helpful and friendly. I feel like I was a bit older. I’m guessing most of the people in this club was in their 20s and was more their scene. Even tho it wasn’t mine they played good music and the drinks were great. Security is at every corner and made their presence known so that make me feel safe. I love the entertainment this club does for all the parties around the club.

So we had gone to Cake Nightclub for a Bachelorette event on May 31st. Prior to that, I had spoken to a promotor and the business, to make a deposit for the table. We honestly had a great time and as a group of girls, security did look after us, to ensure no one was being inappropriate. However, upon returning from my vacation, I had noticed that I was charged 3 times by the business (one for the deposit and two other time for when I was there). I looked at my receipt that I thankfully took a photo of, and realized that my deposit was never deducted from the total amount. As it was never included into the total price, I am simply looking to have my deposit returned. I reached out to them on June 7th, had received a reply on June 16th, which is fair because my email was missed. I was advised that it would be looked into. June 21st, I emailed requesting for an update and did not hear back. June 25th, I send all of my screenshots and receipts again. I honestly feel disappointed at how fast it was to get a response to book a table but when I am in need of resolving a refund, it has been this delayed. It also is unfortunate, as it spoils my experience, when we honestly liked the service there. I hope this review allows management to actually look into the matter. Update: it has been 2 months now. I had sent a request to the Better Business Bureau for assistance and they had also did not receive a reply from Cake Nightclub. This is really unfortunate that they took over $300 from us without simply returning it. It really speaks volume to their service, integrity and accountability as a business.

My friends went here and got scammed by the business.. really reconsider going here if you’re thinking about it. Heard that they ask you for a deposit but then don’t deduct it from your final bill and then never return the deposit… also, bottles are expensive… would not recommended. Also, heard this place smells like body odur everywhere you go. Unless you like that…

Did not order any food to know if there was any available. It's a nightclub with a "show"! Two ladies in the air on suspended rings performing aerial stunts/dances. Great for the younger crowd of 20- mid thirties.

Had an awesome experience... The environment the ambiance, music, crowd all top notch and especially the bartender "JORDAN", she was the most awesome to tend the bar, drinks and behavior. Shout out to you all, you guys made our night. Keep it up and keep rocking

Don't be fooled by the lights or the loud music. The place is dead and they charge you $14 entrance fee only to find the place is quite empty. Drinks are overpriced and definitely not worth more than 1 star. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Rap, hip hop club per usual. Can't sit down but it's all good. I was in town, we got bottle service, and it was a good time.

Club is okay they charge a $10 charge plus they don’t give out water unless you buy a drink. I got turned away since the manager was behind the nice young lady. The young lady was super nice though and did explain that it was the policy. Every club I had been to offers free water especially in Arizona, but unfortunately management was not having it. Plus the club was super dead ! Most likely not coming back :/ if I could give zero stars I would ! But luckily the young lady gave them at least one

Pros: The place has good music and the bottle prices are reasonable, the girls are attentive. Cons: The music is super loud, and the place is empty so you can’t even interact with the people on your table. There’s no place to dance and the people aren’t interested in dancing either.

Horrible customer service. We reserved a VIP Section and nowhere did it say that we had to buy 2 bottles of liquor. They made us moved from the VIP Section. One the managers began to threaten us that they would kick us out because we refused to buy 2 bottles of liquor. He needs training in better customer service and how to talk to people with respect. The only person who acted decent was the Security guard that was all tatted up. I would definitely never go back.

There is always a cover here, always. The cover is way too much for what is provided, overall we had a good time but look elsewhere if you would like a crowd and variety. Table service was great, our host was so good. I would recommend the table service if you go.

Excellent museum! It is a huge place. You wear a headset which plays music as you approach the various exhibits. Exhibits are well labeled and so many interesting details. I loved hearing and seeing people playing the instruments on display via the headset and videos. There is a room where kids and adults can play a variety of instruments. Highly recommend!

Very amazing and educational museum. Would definitely recommend to anyone to go! 2 stories of history and cultures! Plan for it to take a good portion of your day. They have a cafeteria on site that has amazing food as well! Also an interactive instrument room where you can try out some of the different instruments you saw in the exhibits!

This museum is now firmly within my top 5 favorite museums in the world. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the museum is after deciding to visit last-minute. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated and include not only visuals but optional audio for everything you are viewing. With interesting facts about instruments, artists, and music styles from around the world. I only had the chance to see about 1/4 of all they have in my quick 2 hour visit so I’d recommend planing a few hours to come here and experience it all. There is a gallery where you can play a variety of instruments which as a musician was a dream. I’ve always wanted to play a harp and got the chance to do so here! The gift shop had such a fun variety of unique items, I came away with jewelry made from piano strings that I love! And on top of it all, this museum was truly inclusive for folks who need special accessibility accommodations. I recently injured my foot putting me on crutches. The staff kindly offered my choice of a wheelchair or electric scooter at no charge to use while in the museum. I can’t wait for the day I can come back to experience more!!

It is the best museum I ever seen! I am not a fan of music, but I am deeply touched by all kinds of music and instruments from all over the world, hundreds of countries and hundreds cultures. Staff in this museum are super nice, they are ready to answer your questions and provide useful information you need. This museum is not only good for adults, but also great place for kids! If you want your kid to learn instruments, bring kids to this museum and kids will start to fall in love with music. I will definitely come back to this museum again with my kid. Overall, I strongly recommend this museum. It is the No.1 best museum among the hundreds of museums I have seen.

An incredible collection of instruments spanning the globe. Our visit was particularly auspicious as it coincided with the "Stradivarius and the Golden Age of Violins and Guitars" exhibit. The violins and bows were exquisite. Plan to spend the day wandering through the various rooms to learn about cultural context and history.

MIM is worth the drive, no matter where you're staying in Phoenix. It's not just for music lovers, but also about history and engineering. We drove up from Tempe with our ASU student - we already plan to go back! The mechanical music room was fascinating and the artists room had so much variety - do not say no to the headphones. The experience of floating in and out of the sounds of the instruments on display really was magic. We finished with watching the short introduction film they offered. After experiencing the museum, it really brought home the universality of music through out all of human history... and it seems all to be represented right there in MIM. Really well organized and displayed: unique instruments, how instruments are made, antidotes from artists, instruments and musical styles from every corner of the world. Love!

A very fun place to visit! I thought a museum about musical instruments may not be very large or interesting, yet MIM changed my mind completely. It not only shows music from different countries, but also demonstrates the deeper cultures behind the music. As the picture shows, “Music is the language of the soul.” I think everyone who love music should visit this place, and you will see a much bigger world!

We loved every course! My wife had sea bass for her main course and I had the pork chop. The pork chop was the best one I've ever had. But the food is only part of the story as the service was so friendly with the atmosphere inviting and allowing for a really personal dining experience. We went for our 26th Anniversary and this will be where we go for many to come.

We come here every year for our anniversary and it’s above and beyond every single time!! Scott took such great care of us and made our night extra special. The food was incredible as always. I love that they explain each dish they bring out so I know what to look for. Each dish brought out was a little masterpiece and our entrees were what dreams are made of! Pure heaven!! . I love sitting outside in their beautiful little enchanted garden. Makes you feel like you are in a quaint spot in Europe! If you are looking for an elevated experience in food, service, and atmosphere, this is the place!! Thank you Cafe Monarch for always taking such good care of us.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our child’s birthday. While the atmosphere was lovely and the staff provided excellent service, the food was far below our expectations, and I honestly don’t understand why this place is so highly rated. Nearly every dish had an overwhelming sourness to it, to the point that it made us question whether the acidity was meant to cover up ingredients that weren’t fresh. The seafood, in particular, was disappointing. We were expecting fresh oysters but were instead served deep fried ones that lacked both flavor and freshness. The lobster had a strong, unpleasant odor almost like stagnant water and was completely inedible. When we asked for it to be replaced, they simply removed the lobster and brought back the same dish with just shrimp on the plate. It felt careless and unprofessional. Overall, the presentation of the food was visually appealing, but the taste and quality were far below average. The chef seriously needs to refine their craft. There are many other restaurants that offer far better food without relying solely on looks.

My wife and I were excited to try since its rated so high. The atmosphere , service and food presentation was definitely 5 star. The food taste for us was not the greatest. Maybe its our palettes.

I’m going to start off by saying that this restaurant is definitely worth the hype. I went last night solo to celebrate my birthday and sat at the bar, from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed & special. On the menu they put happy birthday on it & catered to my vegetarian wants lol. One of the reasons I picked this place is because they offer a vegetarian menu. I picked this place over Maple & ash because of it. That’s very important for me since I don’t eat meat & prefer to stick w/ veggie options or seafood. The food was delicious. I did the vegatarian 4 course. I was so stuffed after & loved every bite of my courses! The bartenders also told me I had the option to mix it up so I was able to get salmon as my first course on the main menu. Serafin & Jeronimo (the bartenders) are fantastic!! They made me a delicious cocktail that was gin based. It’s called the Rosairie (I prob spelled it wrong lol) They are both very informative, gave great suggestions and just everything you want to have as a customer at a restaurant. They really helped to make my bday dining experience special. I highly recommend this place! I love that every dish they bring you they describe to you what you’re about to eat! Everything is beautiful inside and you can tell there was A LOT of thought that went into this place. From the bathrooms to the bar set up to the jasmine outside. Amazing!! The next time I’m in Scottsdale I will try their restaurant across the street& I’ll definitely come back to Cafe Monarch!! Also, I think it was Jeronimo that offered to take pics of me on my phone since I went solo! I really appreciated that. Photos came out amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better bday experience. I loved every minute of it!! ❤️

This isn’t just a restaurant, or just a meal, this place is an experience! My husband and I have dined here twice and both experiences were top notch, like no other restaurant we’ve ever been to. It’s incredibly beautiful inside, soft lighting and so romantic. We’ve dined both inside and out and I think the outside experience was better, more private. Our inside table was in sort of a high traffic area so a lot of activity and difficult to hear each other at times, but didn’t take away from our evening. Every dish is so thoughtfully prepared, beautiful presentation and so delicious, every bite bursting with flavor and perfect balance. Every dish is thoroughly explained with so much love and detail from the staff. The service is out of this world. I’m so sorry I can’t remember our servers name because he was truly a master in his craft, he took such good care of us and made our evening very special. But really every person in this restaurant goes out of their way to make sure your experience is perfect. This is a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. They even print a special personalized menu for you if you tell them ahead of time and make you a special dessert. It’s definitely a splurge. Our total for 2 after tip was $800+. But it’s totally worth every penny. I would not recommend bringing children younger than teens. They would not enjoy it and it’s not the environment to bring young kids.

They didn’t lie with the name—my sundae was pure sugar. I ordered the Creamed Walnut Fudge Sundae and somehow tasted no chocolate, no marshmallow, no pecans, not even ice cream. Just sweet and cold. I genuinely wondered if it was my taste buds malfunctioning… until I tried my sister’s food. Her finger sandwiches (egg salad and corned beef) were delicious. The kettle chips? Perfectly crisp and salty. Her Coke float was solid too, but that’s hard to mess up—just Coke and vanilla ice cream. Meanwhile, folks around us seemed thrilled with their banana splits, so maybe I just picked the wrong item. Despite the sundae flop, our server Olivia was an absolute gem: kind, attentive, and genuinely lovely. She made the experience feel cared for, even if the dessert didn’t.

The Sugar Bowl is a must of you are visiting Old Town Scottsdale. We went in the evening on a Friday night. I had the Tin Roof Sunday, and my wife had the Golden Nugget!! They were both delicious! The atmosphere is very much old school, and it will hit the nostalgic vibes. The staff was very kind and efficient. Don't forget to buy a coffee much for the collection in the way out.

This place is straight out of the 60s, pink walls, diner booths, and the kind of vibe that makes you feel like you should be wearing a leather jacket and ordering a sundae with a jukebox playing in the background. The ice cream was everything you want ice cream to be, cold, creamy, and full of flavor. I went with a double scoop because I keep it simple, and it was spot on. My partner got a parfait and it looked like something straight out of a magazine, stacked and layered perfectly. The best part is you actually sit down, order, and it comes out made fresh, none of this “stand in line, get scooped, and shuffle away” routine. Portions were generous, the flavors were dialed in, and the whole place just nails that classic throwback charm. If you have not been here yet, fix that. Seriously. It is ice cream that tastes like happiness, nostalgia, and childhood all mixed together, and it is absolutely worth the stop.

Stopped in last Friday for a traditional banana split. What a treat! Absolutely delicious. A little slow getting service at first, but the server was so sweet and the dessert came so quickly, we didn't mind at all. If you're new in town and love delicious ice cream in a vintage setting, don't miss this Scottsdale landmark!

I had passed the Sugar Bowl many times. After a night out at a different restaurant I decided to stop here for a desert. Oh my... This restaurant has been here since 1958 and is in resemblance to a 1950's ice cream parlor. I loved the atmosphere. And even at 9 pm, it was still fully packed with customers. I had the "Gosh-Awful-Gooey Banana Split. It had coffee and strawberry ice cream to die for. Covered in Whipping Cream and Carmel sauce. With a Cherry on top. Definitely coming back. Such a great happy atmosphere.

Friendly and quick service. A lot of choices and the ice cream is delicious. Don’t pass on the root beer float! It was delicious! Great way to cool down with the Arizona heat!

The Halloween night out is awesome here. We had a good time as a lot of people were strolling that area that night. Lots of eateries as well to have a good Halloween night. The mills avenue is bustling with a crowd of crazy costume wearing people that night.

The parade and ceremony for the lighting of the Christmas tree were enchanting! There are a ton of lovely floats and amiable folks!

Downtown Tempe is beautiful and I enjoyed looking at the architecture of the various buildings. There are plenty of hotels and eating options, so this was a good choice when I visited the greater Phoenix area. The area appears to be fairly walkable but we did see several homeless people and panhandlers.

The Christmas Tree lighting Ceremony and Parade was magical! So many beautiful floats and lots of friendly people!

I love it. Just like every where else you have to be careful. Lots of street parking. Nice restaurants, shopping etc..

In my opinion, Tempe is the best city in the valley, with Tempe Downtown being its highlight. Its strength lies in the free streetcar service and the Orbit bus, which provides convenient transportation within the immediate Tempe Downtown neighborhood.

Very friendly staff. Great environment & great decor. The drinks were very good and ascetic ! Some of them light up & had glitter in them ! The food was delicious! Would highly recommend all the sushi rolls and the mains. They do have a bit of spice on a lot of their items but all of it was so good.

I always recommend this spot. It’s truly unique with a creative fusion of Mexican and Asian cuisine , vibrant atmosphere, and attentive staff. Plates are visually stunning! And super flavorful. Same can be said for the cocktails. Perfect spot for a night out or special occasion. Always memorable.

This is one of my top 3 in greater Scottsdale. Great staff, good looking and helpful bartenders at a big square bar and AMAZING food at a reasonable price. See pics. From the vallet to the reception to the waiter to the service and delicious food, this is one of my. New favorite restaurants! Shrimp tacos were so delicious and my favorite sushi we tried was recommended by our waiter, the Dragon Roll and was one of the best rolls I have ever had! I love the ambience and was perfect for a date with my beautiful wife. Most definitely will be seeing this place again soon. Oh yeah, bathrooms were super clean and there was a D.J. for Friday night playing music 🎵

Wow, this place did not disappoint. I saw someone review from TikTok (@destinyliley) and this place did not disappoint.... Once we were seated, our server explained the process (because it was our first visit) and said he would bring out a few plates. He did an exceptional job, they were all sooo good. I had the waygu steak and and eggs as my main meal, but I was so full from the small plates (that were unlimited). He ended our service with mini churro con leche and liquid cheesecake. 10 out of 10 stars. The pomegranate guacamole was probably the best I've ever had and I've had a lot -Guac and the best seasoned tostada (as the chips replacement), generously portioned -rangoons - egg roll - sushi -Pancake tacos Then... - Bravia papas - bacon and eggs - caramelized plantains Yes more... We had the waygu steak and eggs on cilantro rice and the Korean fried chicken sandwich as our mIn meal Ended with our desserts, he recommended dipping our churro into the liquid cheesecake. All mini, but unlimited..I went back for more sushi and Rangoons, but shouldn't have 🙈 All in all, awesome flavor profile, very fresh ingredients, and great service. We will be going back. Note that it is $45 s person so not for the faint of heart from a price perspective, but honestly worth every penny. The environment, food and drink quality was great.

Gluten Free options galore!!!! This place is like finding a gem amongst all the other places in Scottsdale. Food is great, service - above and beyond. And they have great drinks. Fantastic brunch spot.

We stopped here for a late lunch. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere here I’d describe as Southwestern Eclectic Chic. As an appetizer we enjoyed fried plantain chips with cilantro/lime crab dip. It was bright in fragrance and flavor and the plantain was a welcome avenue away from tortilla chips. We both decided on the same entree so, here is one review rather than two. We ordered the Serrano-Shrimp salad. First, this salad is huge. Come hungry, share it or plan on taking some home. At the base is thinly-sliced wheat toast with avocado and piled on top are fat, breaded shrimp, super fresh arugula and spring mixed greens with sliced fennel, topped with a Serrano glaze. This salad is amazing and I recommend it, 10/10.

The Herb Box is an unassuming spot — clean, cute, and with a nice patio area that makes for pleasant outdoor seating. The servers were friendly, though not the most attentive. We ordered a couple of salads (Chicken Cobb and Urban Steak Salad), the Market Pita Wrap, and a couple of mocktails (berries and mango). The drinks were great — refreshing, flavorful, and a good value. Unfortunately, the food itself was a bit challenging. The flavors were overpowering across the board: both the steak and chicken were quite salty, and the dressings were equally strong, which made the dishes a little difficult to enjoy. It’s a shame, since the proteins were otherwise well-cooked. The pita also came with a very sharp vinaigrette, which overwhelmed the rest of the ingredients. If you’re someone who likes bold, assertive flavors, this might be your kind of place. But if you prefer more balanced or mild seasoning, it may not be the best fit.

Everything was delicious! Went for lunch with my family in old town after a morning of traveling, sat in the lovely courtyard. We loved it for a casual, healthy lunch. Loved the plating of salads, nice portions, fair priced, great flavors.

The fingerlings and sweet potatoes and aiolis were delicious. The burger was cold. I like my hamburgers extremely hot. The flatbread tasted mostly like pesto. Your mouth kind of had to hunt for the other flavors. The enchiladas were pretty basic. Service was ok. Water didn't have ice and was room temp. The sun was blaring in at us as it set. All in all, meh. Not horrible but wouldn't eat there again.

Step into an eccentric trendy spot decorated with local flare. Inside and outside seating in a lush garden environment nested in the shopping area of Old Town within minutes of luxury shopping.

People are going to think that I know the owner or manager or something… Nope… we wandered into the restaurant because we liked the vibe on the patio for us and our two little bernedoodles. Wow. What a fabulous find. Atmosphere, service, and food were all solid 5’s! We had short rib tacos, vege enchiladas, and spicy cauliflower. So good. I wish I could remember the waiters name. He was a dog lover and showed as much attention to them as he did to us. Really made us feel like guests. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely spot in Scottsdale. Tucked away in a little courtyard, I sat on the patio and enjoyed the asparagus with tzatziki and the lamb dumplings. Both were light, perfectly balanced - in fact, just perfect. I finished off with their butterscotch pudding which is apparently a permanent fixture on the menu. They also have great local wines, and the service was quick and attentive. This is great food and wine, so in my view it’s reasonably priced. Thanks for a lovely evening, FnB. 😊✨

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful and well worth the visit! We booked a reservation (which requires a deposit) but our flight was delayed. We called and they were so kind and accommodating for us. We were very glad we were able to make it work because the food and service was phenomenal. We ordered the green salad, potato buns with duck fat, and pork chops with seasonal squash. Every bite was full of flavor and the pork chop was the most tender pork chop I’ve ever had. This restaurant is a must stop for your next Scottsdale visit!

FnB is truly amazing, it deserves to be Michelin rated. The food is so creative and made with such high quality, consistently across all dishes. The vegetable-forward cuisine is completely unique, with incredible blends of flavors that pull from different influences but clearly have a very distinctive style of Chef Charleen Badman. The care to balance flavor, visual, and texture is honestly second to none, and we eat out a lot! It is artistry, and the intimate but easy ambience has made every visit a memorable experience. The entire staff is engaging and very competent, this restaurant hits on all cylinders.

Food is surprisingly nice. Especially like the source for the carrot which blended very well with the nuts. Egg plant and Okra are also tasting great. Okra matched very well with curry. It is because Pork has been sold out tonight, it has been changed to steak. Wao, the steak was amazing. Appreciated alot the vegetable portion in each dish. This restaurant really serves good food!

First meal in Phoenix, just astonishing. Local crops mix with new flavours, the taste is so new and amazing. We 3 ordered 4dishes of veggies, 3dishes of meat, and 2 dessert, I chose to not recommend any dish solely, cuz the menu are changing monthly. All I can say all 9 of my order are truly amazing. Even better than some of the Michelin 3stars’ Issac keep checking on us, making sure the flow won’t be too fast, Washroom are clean, paper handkerchief in good quality, shampoo is aromatic P.S. the ginger beer(non-alcoholic) is just so good, as a ginger beer guy, this is the best ginger beer iml

Cant believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. Absolutely phenomenal. If you're in town you have to go! I can't say enough great things. Veggie forward menu with some meat options as well. I promise you've never had vegetables prepared this well. The staff is great, HEY MILES, and people seem to like working here which you don't always see. The menu changes often so I won't comment on what we had but every time we come to town we visit and it has all been delicious. Easily the best restaurant in town and one of my favorites in the whole country! Go now, stop reading and treat yourself!

Seated outside in the courtyard and atmosphere was great. Focaccia bread, roasted squash and steak were the standouts. Sea bass was fishy and did not taste that fresh. Chocolate date cake was a bit dry.

Absolutely amazing! We came here for happy hour and it served as a great dinner. I had the ceviche and spicy edamame. Both are MUST haves. The ceviche has amazing flavor and is very neutral, not at all fishy. The edamame is absolutely amazing, char grilled, has a kick but not too bad. My friends had the Thai chicken bowl, pork pot stickers, and lettuce cups. Lettuce cups are also high on the list, the bowl was good and pot stickers were great. Drinks were well priced, strong, and have good flavors. A good variety of options. I’ve had better service but they were fairly busy and low on staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful in selecting items. I would 100% return and highly recommend!

Glad we decided to try hula‘s out! We were curious and decided to sample several of the appetizer options. Everything had great flavor, Nothing was bland, and we were able to control the spice level on whatever we ordered. We tried the lettuce wraps, fried plantains, potstickers, fish bites, and Johnny cakes. We weren’t in love with the Johnny cakes or fried plantains, there was nothing wrong with them, they just weren’t our favorites. The fish bites were super crispy, but had much more breading than fish. The lettuce wraps were delicious with a great balance between meat and vegetable and enough lettuce leaves to accommodate all the filling. The potstickers were large, nicely browned, and had plenty of filling. We all fell in love with their Thai peanut and their soy based dipping sauces. Our server was very responsive and super friendly! We’re looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu.

We came with a group of 8 on a Saturday morning, soon after they opened. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was our first time there and everybody loved all of their dishes! Really yummy and fresh. We will be happy to return!

Excellent food, drinks, and service! We started with spicy edamame, which had a kick with savory flavor. I chose the fish sandwich with half sweet potato fries, half regular. The fish was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion—did not need the bread. I will definitely come back and order this again. My fiancé ordered the short ribs, which were delicious! His brother ordered the pulled pork in a delectable sauce. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend Hula’s!

Food was good and could be better we had the tofu bowl and hula fish tacos. Flavor was on point and the free condiments on the side had great flavor punch. the atmosphere could have been better for the location. Not many vegetarian options mostly tofu. But seafood here was great.

What a great experience. Truly unique food with excellent service. Drinks were great and my youngest even enjoyed a tasty Captain's Colada Mocktail. I had the wings which were top notch with an interesting Asian barbecue vibe. Pot stickers were an excellent appetizer and wife got the crunchy chicken tacos, which were great and not dry like is often the case. Everything was excellent and Caitlin was extremely busy but still provided unbelievable service. They have a happy hour on weekends, for drinks! 🤙Went back for desert, Wife and Son had Key Lime pie, which was tasty. I went for my personal favorite, Coconut Creme. 🥥🌴

My friends took me to this restaurant and I was concerned that it wouldn't have gluten-free options but pleasantly surprised that they did. I had the lime chicken tacos which were really good. I liked that they had a little bit of a kick to them. The rice was just rice, nothing particularly special in the flavor. The beans that came with the rice weren't very flavorful either. Overall, is probably go again just for the tacos.

Hash Kitchen was everything I needed in a brunch and more! The energy was upbeat, the service was top-tier, and the food? ...next level! Let me just say—the chicken and waffles were to die for. Crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned... I’m still thinking about them. The build-your-own Bloody Mary bar was a fun touch too and gave the brunch experience a little extra personality. Our server was attentive and friendly, and despite how busy it was, everything came out fast and hot. Definitely a brunch spot I’ll be coming back to on future Arizona trips. Highly recommend for great food, good vibes, and Instagram-worthy plates!

Overall 4.7/5 - Great breakfast option with unique offerings. The avacado trio and protein pancakes were both very good. The only complaint is the very small amount of syrup that comes with the pancakes. Upon request, the server graciously brought us more though. The bonjee biscuits were also very good. We got the cannoli donuts as well, which are enjoyable if you are a cannoli fan.

Hash Kitchen was an AWESOME experience! We wanted a solid brunch and got so much more! They have a huge build your own bloody bar, great menu items, a DJ, and amazing service. Special shout out to our server/bartenders Stephanie and Sydney! Our food and drinks were 10/10.

Amazing staff, yummy Bloody Mary bar, delicious food great prices for the size. It’s was my pre birthday and they gave me cute little pancakes. There is a live DJ nice music.

We are in town visiting for an expo. This place was everything the reviews said and more! Service was fabulous and the Bloody Mary was not only the main attraction but it was worth the experience. The portion sizes are so big. The wife and I shared a plate. We will definitely be back EVERY chance we get.

Visiting from the UK and loved this place so much we came back 2 days on the bounce. Stephanie is an amazing waitress and a great artist (doing the Halloween decorations) and we ate well and drank both the pineapple and blueberry mimosas!! Don’t miss going to this place it is great!!

Omg the Bloody Mary bar was one of the best experiences! Has such a choice of vodka and spice level and soooo many toppings. The food was well flavored and amazing.

We came here as tourists to celebrate a birthday and were so happy we chose this place. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, perfect for a special evening. The outdoor seating with string lights felt magical. The food was excellent — the steak was juicy and flavorful, and the short rib just melted in the mouth. The charcuterie board was also a great start, with fresh and tasty selections. Cocktails were well-balanced and beautifully served. The service really stood out. Our server was kind, attentive, and always seemed to be there at the right time without interrupting. We also appreciated that the right utensils came with each course, a small thing that made a big difference. We picked this restaurant based on reviews, and it definitely lived up to them. Highly recommend if you’re in town and looking for a great dinner experience

Wow! We wanted to try the House Brasserie in Scottsdale and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival, Joe, the owner greeted us and had our table reserved in front of the fireplace on the patio as requested. It was a birthday dinner for my wife and let me tell you the staff made it very special. We were seated immediately and from then on the service was spot on. Our server, Katie was amazing, she had great suggestions on wine and made sure our evening was simply perfect. Our appetizer and dinner were served promptly and timed well, the drinks were spot on, the atmosphere was amazing and to top it off they helped us celebrate with a very nice dessert. All in all this was one of the best dinner experiences we have ever had. A big thank you to Joe, Katie, Tommy and the rest of the staff for making our evening perfect!

We had a great experience here and was able to try quite a few dishes. Filet was my favorite with salmon coming close. Crab fried rice caught us by surprise by how good it was. Atmosphere was very formal and romantic on the inside.

This place is so cute and quaint. My son took me and surprised me for my 47th birthday. I had a wonderful time. The service was amazing, my cocktail was delicious. The dinner was fabulous. I am so excited to go back.

My friend and I stopped in for a nightcap on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambiance and excellent service. Our bartender, Chad, was absolutely wonderful—he crafted a couple of delicious drinks for us and truly made our night. His generosity and hospitality did not go unnoticed! Just wonderful. We'll get to the food in a minute but I've got to start with the service. From beginning to end absolutely spectacular. And not just the server (she was amazing) but at every level. Hostess, wonderful. Young man that filled the water glasses and brought drinks, fabulous. Even the folks that boxes up the take home, delightful!! Service at this level requires commitment and training at the highest levels. Just top notch. Food obviously followed suit. Started with buratta and it was just sublime and the plating was perfect. The star of the apps was definitely the grilled octopus. Just perfectly cooked and seasoned and tender as could be. That alone should bring you back but the entrees were so well done also. Wagyu ribeye cap steak (sliced) was just one of those pieces of meat that is memorable. So rich, incredible flavor, perfectly cooked. Also did diver scallops and lobster that was perfection. Thought we were done, memorable meal , home. But we did the creme brulee (solid, traditional) and the bourbon butter cake. I have to say the butter cake might be in my top 5 all time desserts. It created a new tier of butter cake for me and I've probably eaten over 100. Really, truly special. Must stop and do the whole menu. Gotta have the apps, mains (also did a wonderful wedge) and dessert. Just go.

Katie was our server and gave great suggestions. Bison & wagyu steak were perfect. Hector checked on us to make sure everything was going well. All the servers were on top of it and the dining by the open windows was so nice on a warm evening. Definitely will go again when in town.

We had an incredible night at Bourbon & Bones—easily one of the best upscale restaurants we’ve ever been to. The drinks were top-notch, the appetizers were excellent, and the entrees were absolutely amazing. Everything from start to finish exceeded expectations. We had reservations for 8:45 PM and arrived about 10 minutes early. They were understandably busy, so we were seated shortly after our reservation time. While we waited, the young woman working the bar provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and professional. She brought us water right away and took our drink orders, making the wait enjoyable. My wife even wondered if there was a way to request her for future visits—not as a “server,” but as our go-to hospitality expert. We’d definitely come back for happy hour just to have her help us again. Service throughout the meal was good, but a special shoutout goes to the young gentleman assisting our server. He was exceptional—engaged, efficient, and personable. Honestly, he’s got what it takes to be a lead server and definitely deserves a promotion. Bourbon & Bones nailed it across the board. We’ll absolutely be back.

Phenomenal Anniversary Experience! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome—even without a reservation. Sarah at the bar went above and beyond, finding us a place to stand and later escorting us to seats as soon as they opened. Watching the bartenders craft each drink with precision was a treat, and my husband even met the General Manager—such a genuinely kind person. Dinner was exceptional! The Devil’s Rock appetizer was a standout, the bone-in ribeye cooked to perfection, and the butter cake the perfect sweet ending. We were visiting Scottsdale for our anniversary, and Bourbon & Bones made it unforgettable.

I have visited B&B a few other times. This time was to celebrate my son’s graduation from ASU. We reserved the “party” room and our waiter and support staff was amazing. Unfortunately I forgot his name. We had a party of 9 and we like to have fun (we’re from Wisconsin). We had our waiter laughing and blushing. But he rolled with it and made the night amazing. The food…..Unbelievable! All of our food was to die for. My dad and brother who are steak snobs said that their bone-in-ribeye’s were the best steak they have ever had. My wife and sister-in-law both had sea bass, also amazing. And the drink menu is stupid good! I’d go back here in a minute. Can’t wait for my next visit to Scottsdale to visit Bourbon and Bones. BTW we were scheduled to come in January of 2025, but due to a family emergency had to cancel a few days before the trip. We were not sure when we could come. Diane who assisted me in booking the party room (and was also amazing) helped us rebook with no penalty. And said “Just let us know when you’re coming and we’ll accommodate you.”

I watched Suffs at ASU Gammage and had an amazing experience! The theatre is beautiful and full of history, and the show was absolutely powerful - great music, strong performances, and inspiring storytelling. The energy of the crowd and the atmosphere made it even more special. I was sitting on the balcony and the vocals and music were clear from my seat! Special mention to the staff at the will call, they were very helpful and kind in answering the queries regarding student discount and availability. The security and organizing team during the show were also extremely nice and helpful. A wonderful venue for Broadway shows in Arizona!

I'm going to go ahead and give this 5 stars, not necessarily because it's deserving, but because I want it to continue to stay the before that it is. Always great staff, wonderful ambience and architecture, parking has become a cluster, and the seats really are cramped. Been to a few productions here, lovely acoustics too.

This is a review for & Juliet, and Suffs not for the venue. The venue is great and if you go early enough, you can get good parking. But even if you can’t there’s free parking just down the block at the garage. There’s also drinks and food you can order. But be aware of the clear bag policy! We bought season tickets and were very excited to see new musicals every month. The first 2 plays we saw were awful! Suffs is very boring. And Juliet was roll my eyes at “not more woke plays”. Both plays made me wonder if this is where this whole season is heading, I sure hope not. Suffs was about the suffragette movement so I knew it would have feminist flavour to it but the entire storyline was so boring and the songs were dull. But I had great hopes for Juliet. It is a play within a play with Shakespeare’s wife having a hand in changing the ending of the tragic tale of the star crossed lovers. It pokes fun at some of the ridiculousness of how they fell in love and ended their lives in 4 days! But as soon as we were introduced to Juliet’s best friend, I knew this was going to go down as another woke play. No original songs, just pop songs woven together to try to make a story. Some parts were a tad humorous but only because the entire play was so cringe and cliche that you had to cling to some of the small bits of humour. We have several more shows to go to and I really hope it gets better from here.

I've seen several performances/shows at Gammage Auditorium, and I love this venue. One of my favorite shows that came to Gammage with a stellar performance was Hamilton. And if you're not a fan of traditional Broadway show...never fear...you'll discover a wide variety of shows and performances. We've also gone to Gammage to see The Blue Man Group, The Adams Family, Flashdance, Annie, Wicked, and so many more. Take a peek at what's coming and find something amazing to add to your calendar.

I’ve always love going to see shows at Gammage. It’s a nice venue. Great shows, nice staff, good drinks & snacks plus the seats have plenty of leg room. I’m tall plus wear heels and I have enough room to cross my legs and sit comfortably. We saw Moulin Rouge this time and it was fantastic. Life of Pi the last time, which was amazing.

Loved the experience! The seats were comfortable, and I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. Great refreshments and snacks before the show and during intermission.

Pippo (our bartender) was incredible, the service was 10/10. His energy was so inviting and lively!! The place itself is so nice. It has live plants, comfortable seating, but still a “home town” bar kind of vibe. Great mix of modern, and old fashioned. We will definitely be back.

I love this resort and the bar area! I do wish they’d bring back the hummus platter with veggies. Their burger is amazing, and the truffle fries are the best. I wasn’t too impressed with the Thursday night sushi, but the view at sunset is absolutely breathtaking.

We didn't stay at the resort. We ate dinner elsewhere and came here for cocktails. Haven't been here in a while. The atmosphere in the bar is very nice. Nice view of outside from a big window you look out at. Service was average, but drinks were good. People were very friendly. Too bad it was raining because they have a very nice outdoor space. We enjoyed ourselves.

Met some people here on a Saturday morning. I have never been her before, it was easy to find and valet was fantastic. There were so many things to love about the experience. First, the views were gorgeous. Surrounded by mountains, ON a mountain you could see far and wide. Second, the drinks and food were delicious. Third, the service was spectacular and top notch. Lastly though, the prices do reflect all of this so bring your no-limit credit card. 😉

Had a good time here in old town! It was a prime spot for happy hour and the ambiance was relaxed and the the aesthetic was a dark moody yet classy vibe. They had a decent happy hour and Wednesday $1 oyster special which was appealing. Overall, I enjoyed the company and service here. The food was good but some dishes lacked some flavor. I’d recommend their Crispy Sushi Rice, Korean Pork Belly on Lobster Roll, and French 75.

Well that was disappointing! We ordered 2 of the tomahawk specials, one came out looking well seared with the right amount of char. One came out with no signs of being cooked properly. It was returned and came back looking the same as it did. The manager then brought us a new one that didn’t look much different. 1/2 of the steak was fat and neither a tender or quality steak. He did mention that he had 18 tomahawks on the grill. Apparently trying to do too much and sacrificing the quality. The Caesar salad was horrible and sides were very small but good. “Broccoli & Potatoes” Biscuits were just OK and same on the Oysters! This was my daughter’s B-day and suggested this place as she seen it advertised on Instagram. We left very disappointed and will not be returning. Giving it a 1 star based on food alone! Service was great but we did sit outside as indoor was not available. Would not suggest for 5+ people. Not sure how this place is getting good reviews? For $500+ dollars you would expect a much higher quality food!

Very nice happy hour and the food is absolutely delicious with many different flavors and offerings even for happy hour! The drinks are tasty and made with care each time. The flavors were consistent and very good! Service was exceptional even the chef came out to meet and greet people and Madison was delightful taking care of us all night long!

Roasted spring carrots, jerk chicken, Korean pork belly, meatballs, tiramisu! All excellent and recommended. Great service from Rachael. Thank you chef Jordano. This location has a bar and food to satisfy the body and soul. The carrots came out especially good, as well as the chicken. The meatballs were not my favorite but not bad. The charred pineapple with rum jus added a unique twist to the fried rice. Certainly noteworthy.

This is such a fun spot! Whether for a personal hang out or business meeting, the Second Story is a favorite of mine in Old Town Scottsdale. I surprised myself by realizing I hadn’t given some details here yet. My go to is their Old Fashioned and sometimes I mix up the bourbon with either Jefferson’s Small Batch or a Whistle Pig. For food, I’ve tried a fair amount but most recently I had the Caesar Salad, Korean Pork Belly, Crispy Sushi Rice, and the Tomahawk Ribeye! The Pork Belly and Tomahawk were great and highly recommend! The Pork Belly comes as a little sandwich which was delicious. The Tomahawk was about 32oz and I’m not entirely sure what the sauce was but I loved it! The Caesar was good but nothing special here. While I can’t place exactly why, the Crispy Sushi Rice didn’t do much for me. It was good, nothing bad, but just nothing stood out as amazing. Overall, hard to go wrong here. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

This place is amazing. They have the perfect ice balls for your scotch, or whiskey! We had the spicy tuna on the sticky rice which i have never had something like that and it was so good. The tomato on the bread was absolutely amazing, the bread was so good everything went perfect together. They have a nice patio with misters and pretty lights. I would definitely go back again. Lori was our waitress and she was really nice.

It’s a ok restaurant. We went there for $1 oysters on Wednesday. However, the oysters were hit and missed between fresh and smelly. Korean pork belly was dried. The service was slow. The only good thing was “change your life” biscuit.

I’m not a huge beer fan but was with friends and enjoyed a tasting paddle of 4 different styles of beer. No food on site but very casual and staff were happy for me to bring in a sandwich from a nearby cafe. Merch also available.

In town to see Brewers-Diamondbacks (Brewers won!). Friendly, attentive service. Loved the Hop Chowda New England IPA. Made a 2nd visit and same good experience. When too hot for outdoor seating it can fill up quickly. 4.5 stars.

Stopped in for a quick beer or two while in town. The beertender was very good and extremely friendly. The wife enjoyed her usual Desert Rose and I had the Cherry Limeade Sour is very good also. Highly recommend.

I met Chad & Shawn at GABF and they told me to go whilst I was in town. It didn’t disappoint Adam was friendly & engaging as a host. The beer selection & taste were sublime, would highly recommend.

We love Goldwater Brewing. We've been going since they opened. Always consistently terrific beer. My husband's favorite is Hop Chowda. He doesn't even have to ask, as soon as we arrive, they have a glass ready for him! The staff is great, too.

From the outside, the Atlas Bistro and wine shop may seem closed. They may even seem closed if you press your nose against the glass, as I did. As it turned out, the dark tint of the glass hides two gems within: a wine shop and intimate dining room. The restaurant is BYOB, so you can either bring a bottle or two with you, as we did, or buy a bottle in the wine shop, which we also did because it has such a great selection from the world’s top wine-producing countries. But we kind of copped out by buying a bottle we already knew and love. Next time we will try something we have never heard of, from the well-curated collection. The wine shop has a small bar. Although we often eat at restaurant bars, we opted on our first Atlas visit to dine at the only table along the dining room’s front wall. This turned out to be an excellent choice because two good friends with excellent taste in wine, who were surprisingly and coincidentally dining at the next table, were just finishing their meal but hadn’t finished their excellent wines, which they willed to us, which made our own bottle last through the 5-course meal. I’m usually not much of a prix fixe guy because I believe the higher the concept of the food the less you’ll remember it the next day. But as I sit here two days later I do remember the local peach salad, firecracker shrimp, foie gras mousse (supplemental 6th course), pork belly, prime filet mignon with tempuraed oyster mushrooms, and churro-ish donut holes. All were excellent, as was the service. They probably change the menu pretty often, if not daily, so I look forward to our next prix fixe Atlas Bistro experience.

What an amazing find in the valley! This place is unassuming, yet easily the best meal I had during a week of vacation. Our server was so warm and knowledgeable, and they accommodated vegetarians without blinking an eye. The food was incredible and offered at a very reasonable price for a prix fixe dinner. It's BYOB, but the attached bottle shop has everything your wine-loving heart desires.

I think our meal at Atlas was the best my fiancé and I have ever had! From the impeccable service to dishes evoking flavors of our childhoods, this spot provided an intimate, elevated dining experience. Truly cannot wait to return someday. Imagine going to a private art room after choosing a gorgeous bottle of wine from an intimate wine cellar, and then getting to sit down to a beautiful luxurious dinner prepared by your own personal chef in that at room. That's Atlas Bistro. Intimate, luxurious, decadent. It's location threw us off at first, but as any good mom ever said, never judge a book by its cover. For the expertly prepared dishes we experienced, each more divine than the next, you would easily pay 3x's as much. #worththejaunt

We had the pleasure of dining here in December for a company holiday dinner. This was our second time dining with Atlas, and it was wonderful. The food was amazing and the staff was incredible. I mentioned to the bartender that I couldn't have alcohol due to an upcoming surgery. He must have passed the information on to everyone because I didn't have to turn down any refills or anything. They made sure that all the temptation was removed from my place setting and skipped me when they served specialty cocktails at the table. It was very appreciated. I love the atmosphere and being able to wander around looking at all the various wines and bottles. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. If you are looking for a nice place to dine, I recommend Atlas.

This bistro place labels itself "fine dining" but dropped the ball on all courses but 2 (of 6). Oysters and Octopus! I swapped out my octopus for vegetarian as Octopi are too smart to eat and neat looking. But was looking forward to the Foise Gras duck mousse which I normally LOVE but this Foise Gras was soooo greasy and oily I couldn't choke it down! Oil squirted out the sides of what would normally be a delicacy! How crude! Making everything too rich and greasy. $500 for a 3 hour meal only works when the food is fresh and good. This chef made things so oily, greasy and rich the next day my belly hurt. To be fair though, I did enjoy the noodle dish and the dessert and one of the sauces. Hey maybe the normal chef was away or something who knows but we did not have a good experience here. Grease belly ache and lots of hub Bub about nothin.

My husband took me here for my birthday and everything was perfect; from the amazing service to every single dish, the wine selections/recommendations and attention to detail. Very happy with this place. 10/10 Went back a second time 5 months after the first visit. Again, it was all perfect. The food was delicious and so was the wines. 10/10 it is my favorite restaurant for sure!
