Shopping mall
Larcomar is a chic and upscale outdoor mall situated on the cliffs of Miraflores, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The architecture includes multiple terraces, providing panoramic ocean vistas from various points within the shopping center. It features an array of dining options, pubs, nightclubs, gift shops, boutiques, and a food court. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a cinema complex and a bowling facility.
This was a nice place to come and kill some time. You could do plenty of shopping there I had no need to shop. The views are amazing and there are several restaurants and bars where you can quench shit thirst. I felt very safe in this environment lots of security walking the premises. If you’re there in the evening, you can catch some very beautiful sunsets. I took a walk all the way down to the beach and walked on the pier everybody seem to be enjoying their Monday evening.

It's a shopping mall located right on the beach. The atmosphere is quiet and there's a cool sea breeze blowing all the time. Inside, there are many restaurants and shops. You can see the Pacific Ocean. I went in winter, the sea was rough, and the sky was always gray.
Ran B — Google review
Nice outdoor mall. Very nice place to visit for a bite to eat and to hear the ocean waves crash ashore. Very peaceful and safe. I would highly recommend if visiting Lima to pay this place a visit. The Paddington Bear statue is also nearby which is cute.
DF M — Google review
Shop of Shame!! If you're a shopper snob and looking for high-end brands or even mid-range quality, look elsewhere. This store is a treasure trove of low-end, barely recognizable American brands that you'd probably overlook in the States. It's like they've got a magnet for the most obscure imports. Locals seem to be few and far between, but the shopkeepers are enthusiastic about peddling Alpaca clothes to anyone who'll listen. Buyer beware!
SPICY — Google review
Larcomar Mall in Miraflores Mall is really nice place to do shopping and few restaurants with see view. Please see the video and pictures. You can walk from Larcomar to Barranco

Huaca Pucllana Site Museum is an ancient pre-Inca archaeological site situated in Miraflores, offering a captivating journey into Lima's pre-Columbian history. The clay and adobe pyramid complex provides valuable insights into the indigenous cultures that once thrived in the region. Guided tours are available to enhance the understanding of the site's historical significance, making it an educational destination for history enthusiasts, archaeology buffs, and families with older children.
2000+ years of history packed into the center of Miraflores. A must see when visiting Lima to acquire some of the history and respect for previous civilization. The adobe architecture is incredible as millions of bricks were assembled into the pyramid that took hundreds of years to assemble. Get to see some of the agriculture and animals of Peru - guinea pigs and alpacas. The museum offers some insight, but the real value is the guided tours that leave every 30 minutes and are offered in both English and Spanish. Cost of entry is S/ 15, about $4 (includes the tour)
Kristian P — Google review
The tour was excellent! It lasted about 40 minutes, and the guides were very knowledgeable. The ruins are in the middle of Miraflores, right next to a great restaurant with a beautiful view of the site. Just note that the night tour doesn’t allow you to go to the top of the ruins — that’s only possible during the day.
Magali B — Google review
An incredible archaeological site in the heart of Miraflores! 🏛️ The 2,000-year-old adobe pyramid showcases the remarkable craftsmanship of ancient builders. The 40-minute guided tour (S/15, available in English or Spanish) is informative and engaging. Note: the night tour doesn’t include access to the top, but we took it and still loved the experience. A must-visit for history lovers in Lima!
Manjeet D — Google review
Fascinating study of the dedication of the ancients in building structures covering great areas with handmade vertical bricks. On some you can even see their hand and finger prints! Our guide shared a wide scope of knowledge from all of those who lived here, their customs, foods they planted and consumed, burial rites, beliefs, skills... He was a great guide to his heritage and this enormous site in the middle of the city. (Unfortunately, there is a listing for a "minizoo" here. While seeing the 7 famous llamas, alpacas and dozens+ guinea pigs was an interesting part of the tour...that does Not qualify the Very minimum pen and feeding bin as a "zoo." There is a genuine one elsewhere. The handful of indigenousanimals here are just to enlighten visitors as to the animals the original denizens had for food, like the well-planted garden.) This is a healthy, enlightening educational walk through an amazing ancient world. (PS- Please bring some currency to show your appreciation to your fascinating guide!!)
The V — Google review
Worth a visit but just bare in mind you must go round with a tour guide and once you've seen one part of the temple you've sort of seen it all. There were some interesting facts and it made for a good walk. There are some cute llamas or alpacas and guinea pigs 😊
Alex C — Google review
I want to say I loved it, listen - it's historical and the guide was good. Spoke very good English and the Llamas / Guinea pigs at the end are cute. It's interesting, and they're still excavating. The tour takes little under an hour.. tips for the guide are nice! They do a good job. You walk up some steepish parts, and it's sandy - so don't wear slides. ;) Worth a visit... And the restaurant overlooking the ruins is fab! But gets busy. There are other restaurants just outside too. (Not overlooking the ruins) If you're in Lima and like history.. go. I was just a little bit bored at times. 🙊

Huaca Pucllana: 4000-year-old pyramid, check. Boring guide who puts you to sleep, check. If you're gonna make me walk on ancient genius pyramid, at least make the tour entertaining. Suggestion: skip the guide and hit up the Larco Museum first. Learn more over there Trust me, you'll be way more impressed when you finally get to the real education. And honestly, just read the Wikipedia page, you'll learn more. Need tour guide and takes about one hour.
SPICY — Google review
Went Sunday afternoon. A bit of a wait ' half an hour as I had not made a reservation. Entry was 15 soles. Than waited another 20 minutes for English guide and to get numbers for tour. (Recommend you make reservation and you can walk past line) Very interesting tour. The walk is easy around site. Love how this is right in Milaflores easy for most tourists to get too.

When visiting Lima, it's important to plan your day trips carefully. For a relaxing experience, consider strolling along the Malecón de Miraflores, a stunning boardwalk that spans several neighborhoods and offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. You can start at Malecon Saenz Pena in Barranco, visit the Dedalo art gallery, and then leisurely walk towards Larcomar, a modern shopping center with various shops and dining options.
A beautiful walk with perfectly landscaped surroundings and stunning ocean views. An old lighthouse, monuments, artwork, a pagoda on a cliff. Great exercise with an ocean breeze! Not to be missed.
Anthony R — Google review
The Malecón in Miraflores is one of the most beautiful spots to experience in Lima, especially in the morning. Walking along the cliffs with the Pacific Ocean stretching endlessly in front of you is truly breathtaking. The fresh morning breeze, the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks, and the calm atmosphere make it a perfect place to start the day. The parks along the Malecón are well-maintained with colorful flowers, palm trees, and jogging or cycling tracks where you can see locals staying active. In the early hours, it feels peaceful and less crowded, giving you uninterrupted views of the ocean and the sunrise glow reflecting over the water. The scenic beauty, combined with the clean pathways and green spaces, makes the Malecón a must-visit not just for tourists but also for anyone who loves nature and tranquility.

Llloovveeddd this malecon. The views were beautiful, super cute dogs everywhere, very peaceful, and clean. It was a great walk that will help you clear your mind for sure.
Charina A — Google review
It’s a nice walk with beautiful views of the Pacific ocean. Path is paved and easy to walk on, seems accessible even by wheelchair. There were many families with young kids and couples walking and just relaxing. Best time to walk is right around sunset. We started around the malecon marker on google map around 5:30pm and walked towards Larcomar. We saw folks paragliding in the sunset which looked beautiful. Also nice to be at the resto around sunset for dinner.

Lovely park with that big statue and amazing views of the ocean. The tile work is adorable too. The park area looks clean and safe. We took a lot of pictures here and sat down and enjoyed the breeze. There were a lot of people at the time we went.

Intihuatana Park is a charming and well-maintained city park located in the Invincible Sea View Area, just a short walk from Larcomar Shopping Center. It's recommended to take a leisurely stroll along this stretch to visit Love Park and City Park. The park offers a safe and relaxing environment for adults to unwind while children can enjoy the game area.
The park is just cross the bridge from the Parque del Amor, and it’s very close to the shopping center Larcomar. It has a beautiful view of the coastline, a nice sculpture and a good crepe store (which is usually very busy during weekends). Intihuatana Park, or Parque Intihuatana as it is known locally, is one of the many parks along the spectacular Malecon (“boardwalk” in Spanish) of Miraflores, Lima's affluent and picturesque seaside district. It's a fairly small park but nonetheless offers spectacular views over the bay of Lima and the Pacific Ocean. It's a great park to just sit and ponder, people watch, or look out over the beach of Miraflores, watch the surfers riding the waves or the paragliders soaring into the skies high above the Pacific. What I like about the parks along the Malecon is that each has one or more unique characteristic features or attractions and at Parque Intihuatana this is the rather formidable Intihuatana sculpture made by Peruvian visual artist Fernando de Szyszlo. There can be little doubt, the Malecon of Miraflores is one of the most beautiful places in Lima and during your visit there, you must visit Intihuatana Park and watch the amazing para gliders soaring into the skies high above the Pacific and also see amazing Fernando de Szyszlo's Intihuatana. Your visit is highly recommended.

Playa Makaha is a relaxed beach in Peru, offering gentle waves that are perfect for beginners. It's a popular spot for surfers, with surf shops providing board rentals and lessons. The beach is known for its artificial reef waves, which reach impressive heights compared to neighboring beaches. Located near Miraflores, it's a short walk away and offers mellow summer waves ideal for learning to surf.
I took a surf lesson for the fist time. They provided me a wetsuit, shoes and a surf board. It was twenty minutes of basic skills on site and then one hour in water. The temperature was 18'C and the water was a little bit cold. It was definitely fun.
Young C — Google review
Great for beginner surfers. The beach is all rocks, not sand, so wear sandals. The locals are nice, ans surf lessons are reasonably priced. My girlfriend amd I went surfing for the first time and we both got up on the surfboard. She didn't even know how to swim. There's ussually a few locals with GoPros who will sell you pictures and videos of you surfing. Great experience!
Sam — Google review
Playa Makaha is one of the most iconic surfing beaches in Lima and a must-visit for anyone wanting to catch waves along the Costa Verde. Known for its consistent surf, it attracts both beginners and seasoned surfers. Several surf schools and board rental shops operate right at the beach, making it one of the easiest spots to learn or practice. The beach is rocky, like most in Lima, so it’s not ideal for sunbathing, but the lively surf culture more than makes up for it. The view of the cliffs and the Malecón above adds to the atmosphere, and it’s also a great place to simply watch surfers in action if you’re not hitting the water yourself. Overall, Playa Makaha is best for surfing and soaking up Lima’s coastal energy—one of the top choices for water sports in Miraflores.
Purba D — Google review
Playa Makaha or Macaca hmmm. Nice from afar but once up close the beach smells weird and the muscles are spoiling on the rocks and flys everywhere. If you don't mind this then it's ok.
G. A — Google review
If you visit Lima, Peru. Going to the ocean is a must! Absolutely beautiful. Miraflores is a popular tourist attraction.
Miss U — Google review
Ok, we didn’t go to water. High waves are not letting you swim and highway is very close which makes it smell like car fumes and it’s noisy. Some ppl surf there
Oj C — Google review
Nice surfing beach, but there are sea urchins. Make sure you wear water shoes and try not to step on the rocks.
Eran R — Google review
If you like surfing and you are in Peru this is the place to go. It has wind and waves are good. It can be cloudy and humid at night because of Peru location. Makaha Beach is often used as a training place, where you can see surf instructors training young surfers. The Makaha beach waves are of the Artificial Reef type and they are different because of the height they reach that exceeds that of their neighboring beaches. Short walk from Miraflores.

Acceso posterior al parque de Los Próceres is a route that passes through Campo de Marte and the park itself, continuing along the Avenue Salaverry cycle path until reaching the coast. It's important to exercise caution in some areas, particularly at night, and be mindful of Lima's sometimes challenging traffic regulations.

(Translated by Google) It is the best-proportioned access to the park, surpassing the almost non-existent solutions at the southern (the pool) and northern (the station) ends. Its size would allow it to house the STATION and, incidentally, include the FIRE PUMP relic that the firefighters have in their premises near Plaza San Martín on the Jirón de la Unión. It has the structures to shade public access and parking that none of the other entrances have.
