The food is always delicious and there are so many options! It is the only self service restaurant per kilo that I found in Rotterdam and even Netherlands. It is my favorite one! They also have some soup options and a lot of delicious deserts.

My favorite place in Rotterdam 💚 the food is always fresh, organic and healthy! They have something for all means - breakfast, lunch, dinner - you name it. The coffee, deserts and vegan ice cream (!!!) are also so good. My favorite is the amazake granola, literally out of this world! The crowd is always polite, down-to-earth and diverse, with adults, young people, elderly and kids alike. I wish I could here every single day!

We visited this restaurant on Sunday at 10 AM for breakfast. The buffet is charged based on weight, and in the morning, the selection consists mostly of cold dishes, including a variety of salads, pancakes, omelets, chocolate mousse, and more. Additionally, they offer bread and soups. However, the morning service seemed somewhat unprepared. The food items were not labeled, making it difficult to identify each dish, and I would recommend improving this aspect. It also appeared that the staff could benefit from better training or additional support, as there were not enough personnel to efficiently manage all tasks. For instance, the cashier was handling multiple responsibilities, including processing payments and serving coffee. As a result, customers had to retrieve items like sugar or other necessities themselves, as the waitstaff were quite busy. That said, the black coffee was delicious, and the variety of food, including vegan ice creams, was impressive. With a few improvements in service and organization, this could be an even better dining experience.

I’ve heard great things about Spirit:) Highly recommended with so many vegetarian and vegan options. It’s definitely a great place for easy, healthy and good meals. I wish we have more places like that around the UK.

Decided to have dinner at spirit after not visiting for a few years and boy did they deliver. Came back for a second time in 4 days. Food is super flavorful and there is a big variety. Highly reccomend the curry and tempeh in pindasaus 🤤

Desserts are absolutely delicious. However, the buffet could be improved, particularly the tempah steak, which didn't stand out.

I’m never going back. They weigh your plate like it’s made of gold, not just used to serve food. The meal ends up ridiculously overpriced, and the bill is insane — €24.50 for food that’s nothing special. Explanation? None. Respect for the guest? Even less. All you’re left with is anger.

As a Rotterdam tour guide I was happily surprised by this all-vegan lunchroom in the city center. The food was pretty good, fairly priced and that staff was kind as well. Though, I am strongly against the trend where the menus are English only (so not in native Dutch). My nephews needed translation help, while they're in their home city. Which is ridiculous in my opinion..

Came here for breakfast but didn’t realise it was a vegan place. The options are good and the coffee is good. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable as well. The space is nicely decorated and quiet. A good spot to come to if you need a vegan place. There are a variety of options that can satisfy everyone’s preferences. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Awesome place for vegan food my family was impressed! The staff was really friendly and helpful. Even though there was only one chef we were informed that service will be a bit slower so communication was present. Chef smashed it with the food, it was incredible and flavourful

This rustic looking restaurant serves very nice vegan vegetarian food. I loved their toast with avocado n carrot cake. Service was excellent. The waiteress was very attentive and prompt.

We travel to Rotterdam just for this delicious food. The service leaves nothing to be desired and overall there is great attention to detail, which is also reflected in the taste of the food. I absolutely cannot confirm the reviews that it wouldn't taste good. Because everything tastes great - you just want to eat it all!! The design of the location tops every experience there. We will definitely come back :)

I absolutely loved it here! The vibe is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious without being too expensive. There are great choices on the menu, and I can highly recommend it, even for non-vegans. I'll definitely come again if I get the chance.

I went there with a group of friends. We made the reservation prior. The owner and staff was super friendly. We stayed there for 3.5hrs and it was fun. We ordered cocktails, sumo platters, burgers and desserts. Everything was delicious and plant based. It is a heaven for vegan food. You should definitely visit it once whether you are vegan or not. They have sitting outside as well.

Really cool location with friendly service. The food itself looks really fancy and we really loved the vegan mac n cheese balls. The burgers did not flash me that much. The patty was good but really thin, the bun a little dry and the whole burger could have more flavor. But all in all we enjoyed our visit!

It is a really good concept if you are looking for a vegan junk food ! The location is great, the place is well decorated, they have friendly staff. The prices are also quite nice. They have couple of branches around The Netherlands, generally you don’t have to make reservation. The burgers, colourful sauces and fries are tasty. Amazing atmosphere and great food. The menu is very creative and I love how colourful the food is. Drinks are also cute looking and taste super well. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the restrooms. I was hoping such a hip place would not have gendered restrooms anymore.

Wow what a place, vegan food is unreal! One of, if not, the best burgers I’ve ever had. Their own beer on tap is also good! Excellent food and service in a great location.

This was my first experience at a vegan pizzeria, and I enjoyed the pizza and of course, the vegan dessert. I had a ginger lemonade to drink. An experience worth repeating.

Pizza was super dry and blant. Tasteless. Quality very poor comparing to some time ago. We won't order again. I'm very sorry.

My first meal in Rotterdam and what a way to begin! These pizzas were incredible, honestly better than any vegan pizza I’ve had including many popular spots in London. Delicious base and sauce, plus the toppings were so generous. I felt like I had a whole box of mushrooms on my pizza (in the best way)! Some places are really stingy so this was a super refreshing change. Must visit for any pizza fan. Final tip: order the garlic dipping sauce for your crusts!

Very friendly and talkative staff. We some had difficulty choosing from all the options, so we got some more time while we got served our drinks and a nice starter. The food was great! The homemade vegan cheese tasted really nice and melted so well. I had the carbonara pizza which was really good but a bit too salty. Luckily we ordered some dips for the crust and that helped smooth out the salty punch. After our pizzas we ordered some delicious brownies and ice cream and got our unfinished slices in a box to go. We had a 2 person starter, two drinks per person, two pizzas and two desserts for € 85,- so that's not all that expensive. The atmosphere inside was super cosy and outside it felt nice to sit under the trees in the late night sun. However the restaurant is next to a two way street through which quite a few cars drive. Hopefully later on the barrier between the tables and the street would be a little bigger so the noise from the cars doesn't interfere with conversations. All in all, the food was great (4.5/5) the service was banging (brownie😉) and the atmosphere nice. Would recommend 10/10

Absolutely amazing ! I have been there many times and probably even more ! Full vegan menu, super delicous food and very friendly staff! The location is nice, outside tables are available, inside is very well decorated. It is clean and fast! The pizzas ,snacks, deserts, pastas are all yummy! My favorite is especially “The Garden”. They have also a branch in Den Haag too.

Simply amazing. I have never had such a good vegan pizza, how do they make the cheese taste so good??? Pizzas were big enough to almost make you question if you'd want dessert, and then end up still ordering dessert (which definitely was not a mistake, the cheesecake was amazing) I spent a little over 30 euros for a 3 course meal and one drink. Service was great and very professional, had a lovely chat with the waiter and learned about their restaurant and mission. Overall, this is the #1 place I'd go back to in Rotterdam. Even if I didn't care about vegan food.

Wonderful tasting pizzas! One of the best vegan dishes I've eaten. They don't taste like regular pizza; they taste better and explore absolutely stunning flavours!

This is a spot where you come just for the atmosphere. The place is warm and cozy, and is on a more expensive side. For me the price didn’t match the quality, and I got a visual pleasure but not a gastronomic one. Matcha wasn’t good (you can see from the color), and food was simply okay, but again not for the price indicated.

Wonderful attention to detail with a lovely variety of food choices. I was especially impressed by the vegetarian and vegan options (yes, they genuinely cater for both!). It is on the pricier side, but the freshness and incredible flavors made it well worth it.

I’ve had lunch here twice for business meetings, and both times were a bit disappointing. Still, I decided to give it one more shot for dinner but that didn’t really change my mind. The service is slow and there were quite a few mistakes. The food is okay, not bad at all, just nothing special. Prices are fair and the location is nice, but definitely don’t come here if you’re in a rush

The flavours are excellent and for such a big group we were served really quickly. I like how they cater to the different dietary preferences with ease. I would have loved a bit more explanation on how much food this was going to be as it was a lot. Even when we thought we were finished, it was just a whole lot more on the way. Can recommend going here for a really good spot of lunch.

Came to Bertmans on the high recommendation and praise of Jess from Hilton,Rotterdam. Met Adrian, lovely girl and brilliant recommendations. If I could wax love for a humble glass of Orange, don't think I am mad. We eat chillas or pudlas at home and it's a staple for Gujjus everywhere and imagine eating a dish called SOCCA to only find it's our humble pudlas or chillas!! Cold coffee with phenomenal coffee from Giraffe Coffee just the perfect way to end breakfast. For everyone who is vegetarian or vegan and searching for food , come here. I know my sister's vegetarian soul would be satisfied, so that's that. Thank you Jess and Adrian - memorable meal.

Popped into Bertmans today for Sunday brunch before going to a show. What a great experience, lovely decor, table by the window and an eclectic menu that makes it difficult to choose! So take the brunch platter and enjoy a taste of breakfast delicacies from around the world. Or be like my wife and opt for the smoked salmon on toast. Either way you can't go wrong!

My girlfriend and I have both been vegan for multiple years and sadly didn't enjoy the food. Maybe it was too early for such flavors, but we both didn't like it. However, this is a cozy place with a nice atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff.

I’ve been seeing Sue’s healthy, refined sugar-free and gluten-free sweet bites at many of the cafés I go to, and since I had tried and liked them a few times, I wanted to visit her own place in Rotterdam. This time, I went for the chocolate banana bread and a mango iced matcha latte. I think there are places in Rotterdam that do a better iced mango matcha and banana bread — both were pretty average. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The bites looked really delicious in the display, and you can also grab them as take-away. I didn’t leave 100% satisfied with the flavors, but I’d still like to come back and give it another try.

I loved it, great quality products, desserts are not too sweet. Everything seems very healthy with a great sensation of flavours. You'll see me here more often! The only minus is that I sat in a corner, maybe they didn't see me much, so took long for people to come to me, take my orders and dirty plates etc

We ate here with 6 people. The person who had picked this restaurant had heard good stories about the food. From the outside, the restaurant does not necessarily look attractive. When you are inside it is an interesting layout because the restaurant has two to three tiers of seating. I think this was in there before the restaurant was there and they had to work with this. For the rest they have done their best to bring a little atmosphere inside it is cozy but there is definitely room for improvement. As for the food, it is really good. First of all, it is a 100% vegetarian restaurant. Then you read that there are dishes with duck and shrimp, however, all these products are replaced by a soy version of duck or shrimp. I myself had the Tampe (highly recommended) and we shared some more dishes. We enjoyed the food. The staff was very friendly and reasonably fast. There were some mistakes made with the orders but that was also resolved. The music played in the restaurant was soothing. It was a bit like a yoga class where they have meditation music on. I could appreciate it. Good food everywhere and potential business.

Not the best burgers in town, but they make up for it with the convenient location, the personal service, the free spirited atmosphere, and the balanced selection of their entire menu. They offer a good variety of choices in burgers, side dishes, and drinks. I found that their buns tend to get soggy (sometimes more than other occasions) so I prefer to have the burgers as a salad. And the salads are quite generous also. Tried almost everything on the menu at this point, and visited several times across the past 18 months. This time I've had their oyster mushroom kroketten, which are also very tasty.

Definitely 5 out of 5!! If you’re traveling to Rotterdam and wanna have nice burger and fresh veg salad, you must come here instead of other international big chain brands!! The stuff are so welcoming. The food not even need to be mentioned- they’re amazingly good! There might be chances to see some art exhibitions or live music around while eating in. When I went years ago, I was very impressed by their burgers. This time I ordered the burger as a salad but was a bit dissapointed. My burger had been grilled too long and was a bit too charred and too tough. I also thought that the salad would have been a bit more than just a swap out of the burger bun with some lettuce. The toppings were served seperately in cute small metal containers. All in all it was a bit underwhelming.

This place is laidback and very queer friendly. The burgers and fries are nice and there is a cozy atmosphere. The kapsalon also looked nice! Close to the station.

We ordered one vegetarian and one organic beef burger, both were way too dark and tasted burned. We send them back; the second vegetarian burger was allright, the second beef burger still tasted bitter and burned (and looked like the first one). We thought the grill was too hot, since the beef burger was medium / rare insite but burned on the outside. Burger buns were a bit boring and not great.

The Burgers were great! However the curry bow wasn't, all of the vegetables in it were sour so it all tasted the same. The interior also is not very cosy. The staff were friendly.

Finally! Very tasty, healthy, plant based, fast food! The World needs this. They have an amazing plant based burger, which my kids even love. Homemade ginger beer with much less sugar and healthy ingredients. You can order with the tablets at the order counter and enjoy your food in or outside

The one thing I look for when travelling somewhere new is vegan food, I found this place on happy cow so I had to go find it. Luckily we were at the station so we didnt have to go far. Unfortunately the card machine was down for a bit but we were happy to wait, the owner was super kind and caring and offered us drinks to wait. Eventually the machine started working again slowly but surely, my friends card went through then it almost stopped working, he offered me my meal free if it wouldnt work but I love to support vegan businesses so I hoped it wouldnt just start working. It did. I tried the Japanese bowl which was super tasty, and good portions. My friend tried the eggplant burger which was good but too small for the portion and price. All in all I love this place and suggest it if you want a nice fast plant based meal.

Great and fast plant-based food in a simple setting. They have self order terminals only, it‘s very nice and easy. The vegan mac‘n‘cheese was delicious. I recommend taking the bowls, the burgers are quite more expensive compared. Also conveniently located opposite Central Station.

Second time eating here. Both burgers and milkshakes I've tried were among the best I've ever had! The tiramisu ice-cream tastes exactly of Italian tiramisu. Staff is friendly too. Will be back a third time and many more :)

It is a complete vegan restaurant. Very good concept and atmosphere inside and outside the train wagon. The garden is very green and cozy. The train gives a nice dining experience. I really like the zero waste concept as well. They have a fixed menu including starter, main dish and dessert. The drinks are not included. The food is tasty; however, it is quite expensive for the portions. At the end of the dinner, we had to have some extra food later somewhere else to feel full. Definitely not something you want after visiting a restaurant. I think the creativity is also a bit missing. We end up eating carrots and potatoes as main dish, and mushrooms as starters. I find it a bit simple for this type of a place. In addition, there is also not a very pleasant atmosphere at the back of the restaurant (I guess there is not very much of a safe area, some people gathering and smoking with loud music). This is not something on the restaurant but it loses the feeling of a good evening. I would highly recommend the place to have a bit larger portions, or lower prices to have it balanced. Since It is a fixed menu, there could be also some innovative dishes, just because you can’t choose what you get for that evening. I am giving 4 star only to promote this kind of vegan places, entrepreneurs and appreciating the train vibe and originality. Otherwise, the food and the portions do not deserve it.

What an amazing experience! We came here on the hottest day of the year so we sat outside in the shade underneath a pear tree. There are also apple trees, a fig tree and loads of other plants. We were a little bit early for our reservation but this was no problem at all, we could already sit down with some water and wine. They do an all vegan course menu which changes regularly. The food was absolutely amazing. So tasty, great portions, nothing to complain about. With bad weather guests sit inside the train. It was my friends birthday and she received a small gift which was very nice thank you so much for that. One point of feedback is that the paint of the tables is in a very bad state and at the end of the night my arms were covered in pieces of blue paint. But a part from that we had a wonderful evening. Thank you!

Nice vegan food in a really cool repurposed trainwagon from the 80’s. The vibe is really nice, the concept is cool and the staff is quite friendly! We had the movie/tv themed set menu which was a pretty fun idea - the experience and the ambience is really the selling point here!

Loved a concept of ‘zero waste’! Therefore, one should always make a reservation! I am not vegan but I was pleasantly surprised of creative and very delicious vegan alternatives for meat/fish. Highly recommend!

Amazing restaurant. The owners were super friendly, greeted and gave personalized service. Their food recommendations were amazing. Pink lemonade and carrot ginger lemonade both very tasty. Flat tacos, fresh ingredients and great presentation. Burger was a delicious, and the bun you would NEVER know was gluten free. I've never liked gluten free baked goods, pleasantly surprised. The cake, cherry chocolate cake and a virgin mojito to finish the night. The cherry on top of a wonderful evening. Thank you!

Amazing VEGAN & all Gluten Free Menu I was expecting a hard and stale bun for the burger I ordered, but it was soft fresh and warm. The burger itself was delicious, balanced impactful flavours that worked well together. The curry fusion was also amazing, a lot of amazing flavours that worked well together. In terms of price, considering what gluten free products and fresh produce cost, I think it’s completely fair. Our 10month old loved the food too, staff were really nice to her. Also they have a baby seat as shown on the photo. Tiramisu 👌🏽.

We went here for our anniversary dinner before a show at the Ahoy (two stops away on the metro). It was DELICIOUS. We had entrees, mocktails, and dessert. Beware: the curry (even the one not marked with a chili pepper) was pretty darn spicy, but so full of flavor. The Ultimate Burger (a double Amazing Burger) was HUGE, and our only regret was that it was too big for my dining companion to shove into his mouth faster. It was awesome to know that everything on the menu (including the beers) was gluten free (and lactose free/vegan as well). Virgin mojitos were the perfect amount of not-too-sweet and the desserts (although some were sold out) were absolutely divine: blueberry-lemon semifreddo and affogato. We were quite full afterward with the generous portions but not at all sick with celiac symptoms (so the risk of cross-contamination seems very low here). They have an exclusively gluten free menu, and the atmosphere was a lounge-like vibe. Next to a yoga studio.

I went there with a big group with reservation and the restaurant gave us a nice spot so that the group can enjoy. The food was amazing and everything is vegan here. We spent almost 4hrs there and restaurant staff was really nice to let us sit there. I would definitely come back to try other dishes. I ordered an amazing burger and it was indeed amazing. Cauliflower nuggets are also nice. Next time I will try kofte. They have clean toilets as well

This place in an absolute gem of a restaurant. We went here because my daughter is coeliac and vegan and had a couple of issues with cross contamination during the holiday. There was no risk of this here and the food was awesome too. All plant based and all gluten free, everything made on-site by the restaurant staff. The atmosphere is fresh and vibrant, the food was delicious, original and healthier than a lot of holiday food. The staff were friendly, the owner works in the restaurant and was so friendly and talkative. Talking of plans for the place and how the food is made, which gave us a real sense that he loves what he does and it shows in the end product. As everything is made on site, they can prepare around any food allergies or dietary requirements, the staff really seemed to know what they were doing which gave us confidence we could eat there without allergy issues. The nachos were a must, their home made “cheese” sauce was great, the mixed grill gave me a taste of almost everything on the menu too, which was great. The smoothies were excellent too. Only trouble with the place was that the kids couldn’t eat everything, the portions were big and we didn’t get to try the desert as we were all too full. We will definitely be going back for another taste and maybe try the desserts on another holiday.

We choose this restaurant because it was near our hotel. I already knew it was vegan (even though we are not) and we were very please with everything. The staff is very welcoming and polite. The atmosphere is pleasant with music and nice decoration. The food was very tasty and the amount is also adequate. Overall we were very glad we choose this place.

Really enjoyed Rozey! The concept is really fun: all you can vegan eat & drink (soft drinks & house wine) for a set price of €40. You are able to order two items from the menu and one side (per person) in each round and you can do as many rounds as you like. The portions are on the smaller side, which is great so you can try more things. We loved trying such a wide array of dishes! It was busy - so would recommend a reservation! The person working there with the heart tattoo on their face was AWESOME - such a nice energy!

I wish there was a place like this in England! The food and service are incredible. I recently ate here with my wife and kids. The concept is really quite cool! Pay a set price per person (children under 11yrs are cheaper), then order a maximum of 2 mains per round. Most drinks are also included, but there are some that have an additional charge (this is clear on the menu). I lost count of the amount of food we ate, never having to wait too long for the next round, which you order on your phone. Every dish is incredible! We all had a separate favourite dish, which is a good sign. My one slice of advice would be, don't waste belly space with sides!

The food was very nice. Easy to go from Dutch food, to Indonesian to Italian,Mexican and so on. The only very down side of this place are the long waiting time between and order and another. It is possible to order only 2 dishes per person every 20 minutes, which makes the dinner very long. For sure is a bit of a strategy to make sure people do not eat too much, but the wait in between is really too long. I have been here 2 times and the feeling was always the same!

Nearly every option is vegan! Incredible amount of options in this all you can eat formula. Friendly service, great choice. You need to go three times in order to try it all. Maybe not all small dishes are super healthy, but overall more veggies than meat replacement. Deserts are great, too, so be careful about the number of orders you place before starting on the deserts!

I mean what an experience. I went here as I was doing lent and was in Rotterdam for work. Possible the best veggie menu ever and the friendliest staff. Everything was impeccable, delicious, flavourful, interesting and creative. Personally the scallops, the asparagus and the dutch croquettes made me fall in love. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. All you can eat with unlimited drinks for under 40 Euros. Amazing food with reasonable price, never thought about vegetarian food being this good. All you can eat vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Everything is tasty, very well done with small portions. You can order 2-3 per round without any limit. Price includes the drinks as well. The staff is super friendly might be the best customer experience in Rotterdam. Very much thanks to all the smiley people working front or back of the kitchen. Most of the dishes are vegan and clearly marked in the menu. The service is fairly quick. It is a quite popular place so better to have a reservation before going. The only point would be some food can be a bit oily/fatty as they fry them. As you eat them in small portions, it does not bother much.

1. Its one of the very good Suriname restaurants I've been to in Rotterdam. I tried a lot of dishes here over the course of a year and everything is very consistently delicious! 2. If you are not very hungry and if you're alone, I would recommend their sandwiches. Their €20 main course might be a little too much for 1 person. 3. Their mock meat is probably one of the best I've tried. Its crispy, dense and very flavorful. 4. I would recommend their salt and pepper Vega kip, Singaporean noodle dish, and really any of their sandwiches. The side of chilli paste gives it a really nice kick! 5. This is a very busy place. Sometimes it can be a little noisy. The decor is very moderate. Nothing fancy but it 100% works. 6. If you are a light to moderate eater, I would say one main dish would be enough for 2 people. 7. I mostly order online but eating here is obviously better. Overall a very good consistent restaurant. Couple of times a month is early doable. I would recommend it for anyone who feels like eating Suriname cuisine.

Really good range of different food, took the Surinamese dishes. Meat was great but I think the noodles were slightly dry and not seasoned enough unfortunately. The staff are super helpful and even let me try some of their traditional Surinamese food when I asked about it (Pom) which I ended up also buying and this was definitely my favourite thing I got from here.

Extremely disappointing and concerning experience. We made it very clear from the start that one of us has celiac disease, and we were firmly assured that the noodle dish was gluten-free. Unfortunately, that was not the case — after eating, there were severe stomach cramps and bouts of vomiting, clear signs of gluten contamination. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to treat such a serious medical condition with such carelessness. Beyond the physical discomfort, there was also a deep sense of disrespect and lack of responsibility. I strongly advise anyone with celiac disease or food intolerances to avoid this restaurant, at least until they demonstrate proper attention, knowledge, and care in handling dietary restrictions and communicating with customers.

Dumplings in soup were full of flavour. Spicy prawn dish was delicious...would have been nicer if frozen prawns were not used. Buddha vegetables were in a plain sauce which went well with the spicy dish. A lovely mix of veg too. Jasmine tea was great! Good service too. Recommend.

Really good portion for food and I would say it’s considered authentic! We ordered koe lou yok and moksie metie, both came with such huge portion of rice too. In the end we have to takeaway for another meals because we were full. Moksie metie is surinamese style of charsiew, siew yok, roasted chicken and pork sausage altogether, usually comes with sauce and vege, not served dry like the usual asian ones.

Food is here is always 100% on point and delicious. Never had a negative experience at this restaurant. Always greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel welcome. Vegetarian and vegan options are simply delicious and food presentation is perfect. Extensive menu that delivers on flavour and guaranteed to satisfy. 🙏

We were in a very beautiful place today. A warm, friendly and very pleasant place. Since we were in a hurry, we only preferred coffee and cookies. They all tasted very good. The people working at the place are very attentive. I will definitely be there to eat Salad next time. When you come to Rotterdam, you should definitely come to this beautiful place.

I got the kapsalon wrap and iced golden milk. The food is fresh and good, however, feels like something is missing a bit in the flavour. Still, it’s a nice option for some quick and easy plant-based food, and I like the options they have.

Food was not bad. I ordered extra sauce (paid for it!) but it was the same amount as the portion from my partner( standard sauce option). In my partner dish you forgot sweet potatoes... I was not happy when I found a hair down at the bottom of my dish...Obviously I did not finish eating it I doubt we order again.

Nice spot for a healthy meal, a lot of salades, Wraps and smoothies. Staff was slow, but that’s everywhere nowadays. But for a quik healthy bit with good vibes this is perfect .

Very nice place for a lunch break in the city. Their menu suggests a selection of mixed salads and there is also the option to make your combination out of all the ingredients available. It is a bit pricey, but the quantities are generous.

The atmosphere is good because of the quiet street and coziness. The food is not. Their menu is basically just different bowls of ingredients. Nothing ties the flavors together, and while I understand not using spices so that you can enjoy the original flavors of the ingredients properly, there was nothing to draw out those flavors. Finally, justifying high prices by marketing themselves with “organic” and/or “clean & green” vibes and messaging is just ridiculous especially when the food quality in terms of flavor and enjoyment is simply very low.

Delicious healthy food with vegan options. I could taste the freshness. I customized the bowl seen here and had the black bean brownie. The juice was tasty and fresh as well. It is a more expensive meal but worth it.

“shake the hand that feeds you” a real interest in where to food come from emanates from each plate. Great vegan/ vegetarian combinations. So good we came back (more than once).

The food was fresh and tasty, with good portions that feel nourishing. The staff were kind and helpful. The only downside was that the main course took over 50 minutes, even though we only had a small snack before. Good to know in advance if you don’t have time for a long meal.

What a lovely place! The food was outstanding. So much flavour, you could tell love had been put into making it. So many amazing vegan options to choose from! A friend of mine recommended me The Harvest for its quality foods made from seasonal ingredients and choices. I definitely had a pleasant time there. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I think the staff was also overwhelmed by the number of guests since I saw her running back and forth to take care of all tables. The All plants bowl that I ordered was very tasty, and I particularly liked the roasted sweet potatoes, grilled mushrooms and fresh salads. I was not much impressed by the seitan satay. The satay pieces were a bit dry probably because the small sizes made its easy to be overcooked. The seasonal apple oatmeal pie could be improved. The size was small compared with the usual apple pie at the same price (€5.50). It was a bit too sweet for my liking. I wish there were more apples with a bit of acidic taste. And just keeping it simple with fresh apples would go a long way.

Love it here, especially ordering takeaway. Everything was honestly great, but there were a couple of mishaps. Ordered a vegan brunch, extra cheese balls and a drink. They did a good job accommodating my tomato sensitivity. BUT: Not sure what went wrong on this day, but one of my order items was missing (refunded by UberEqts thankfully), and one of the sandwiches had a hair :/

Hidden gem a bit outside the city centre with amazing vegan food that was more on the unusual side from what is usually served and I loved it!! The waiter was friendly, so was the dog, all in all 10/10 experience!

Amazing vegan café - the food and the drinks are absolutely fantastic and so flavorful. The Brazilian vibe makes it something very special. I couldn’t believe that the cheese balls were really vegan and without cheese. The chai tea was fantastic. We had the brunch plate with a selection of foods from the menu. Highly recommend 🌱💚

Let me first start by saying that the service is amazing, the lady who’s running the place is super friendly and hospitable! The food was really good too. Truly loved everything especially the pao de queijo and the iced coffee was also really yum. Definitely recommend trying this if you’re in the neighborhood! Oh and very good price/quality value!

Nice atmosphere, good music - food is alright. We had to wait a bit for the starters to arrive, but after that speed picked up. Waiters were very friendly. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, looking for some Dutch comfort food, you should go.

Great food - plenty of options to either share or to enjoy by your own. Had the sushi, the mac & cheese and the icecream. The portions seem a bit small at first but trust me, there's more than enough. The atmosphere is cozy and the decorations and lights are very pretty and do a lot to improve the already good vibe. The staff is kind and helpful, the spontanious surprise cocktails were a nice touch! Sometimes it took a bit longer to get our order taken (5-10 minutes), but that was because we were kinda hidden away in a corner. Would love to come back soon! P.S. please make a reservation in advance, especially on fridays and saturdays.

This place is new in town and it's becoming famous quickly. Their vegan menu is very interesting and it surely doesn't lack creativity. Service is extremely good and staff friendly. The only disappointing factor is that the 5 courses menu leaves you without dessert and that should either be clearly explained or it quickly feels like a trick to add a dessert on top of a full menu.

Very nice, quite trendy place with a no-menu standard. Be aware, its a almost no choose menu and you pay 32,50 EUROS per person!! We were shocked by the price once we saw it at the bill, as it was good but this on top of the drinks made it a very expensive night out for food that was sometimes not good. The night we were there, there was no other than a gin-tonic cocktail or an alcohol-free variant of the gin-tonic. The menu is kind of standard for everyone and includes a 5 course menu where they bring out a plate that is ought to be shared. The first and second course was very good and dessert was all outstanding. The "stew" and "lasagna" was really not that good.

Perfection!! Great tasty food, friendly waitress and a love ambiance for a fair price! Go for the special menu. The fried mushrooms and fried elderflower were delicious! I would definitely recommend Dumbo to friends and family. I can’t wait to visit again.

Went there with great expectations, to be desillusioned unfortunately. There was a cozy ambiance, so we decided to go for the “live a little” dinner. Besides the fact that we had to wait at least 30 min between the courses, 5 out of 6 dishes/bites were cold, and gone in 1 bite. Left hungry afterwards. 2 stars for the cozy ambiance and the waitress who really tried.

Food was burger or veggie burger, we don’t eat. There is some amazing beers on tap. Think the idea was it was going to be a good hub. It’s not quite there yet. But there are lots of great food places within walking distance. Sit and enjoy a beer 🍺 or 2 and if a burger is for you then you’re in.

This is an incredible food hall with great variety and service. I tried the Pho beef soup from the Vietnamese restaurant and my partner tried the burger place. Both dishes were so tasty and they were actually big portions. They also have a bar so you can have a drink with your food - they have their own local beer! They also support other local breweries in the area. The athmosphere is cozy and I recommend a date night there if you can't decide where to eat - they have all types of food there.

Relaxing National Trust garden with plenty of walks and plants to look at. We went to see the bluebells (the website said they were out) but when we arrived they'd mostly gone past their best. Check before you visit.

The new location still maintain its hipster flavor. It is amazing alternative spot for quick bites and good craft beers. Now the step up is that there many, many more seats outside looking at a calm river and with a sunny day, this is one of the places you want to be for a post industrial modern drink.

A really nice little food market, about 15 minutes by bike from the city centre. The views from the seating area are quite stunning. We had a cheeseboard, tried some of the beers, and had a really lovely time sat in the sun. The prices seemed about average for the Netherlands.

We absolutely loved this place, we had brunch here, coffee was nice and is available in decaf, which is not always the case in Netherlands. We had porridge, yogurt granola all of them are yummy especially the mango yogurt cup made of soy milk. The varieties of bagels and cream cheese are amazing and the hot bagel options are very nice, The price is also very reasonable with three porridge and yogurt granola bowls, two coffees and two sandwiches only €45. I definitely plan to go back again and can’t wait!

We ate breakfast at this cafe. Everything tasted well and there were several vegetarians options. Also the staff were very helpful and friendly. Please note that this cafe is a bit expensive. We paid over 20€ for breakfast.

First time trying out this popular franchise and what a treat! Tried the mushroom coffee which is unique and refreshing. Many different types of bagel to use as your base with 5 different types of cream cheese - the walnut one is highly recommended! The salmon options are lovely and fresh. Also tried the hagelsslag with chocolate sprinkles - very different!

Stopped by on a Thursday evening. Built my own bowl w/ brown rice, chicken, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, sweet potato & feta. Ordered a “medium” bowl. Serving size was generous. The ingredients seemed fresh. The chicken was nicely seasoned, but I did not like the texture. Even with the dressing, I found the overall flavour of the bowl a little bland. Not bad, just not particularly bold. I still enjoyed my meal and would come back. You place your order via a screen. No table service. No interaction with the employees. It is quick and efficient. Suitable for solo dinners.

We had a nice experience at the Hawaiian Poké Bowl. You order via a screen and your food is bringing to your table (took less than 5 minutes). The food was really good, the portion is nice (even the medium one). It does worth the price! I wanna try the other flavors.

Most delicious healthy food in the Netherlands by far. I was hesitant about ordering at first, but a young man named Pablo helped me out making my bowl and it was the best food I’ve had in months. I strongly recommend the steak. Also, all the meat is halal here. 10/10

So we come here often and the service is not the best anyway but the cleanliness wasn’t good either but today it was worse. Every single table was dirty (no one was sitting there) except for three tables and the food always takes quite a long time. If this place gets busy at a particular time (the only time we come 17:00-20:00) then maybe it would be best to have more employees to atleast keep up the hygiene. I tried to give this place a chance four times but now we are done. This is not the employees fault but the lack of care from the owner. Also, the bowls don’t even taste the same as they did in the beginning when this was newly opened.

Went twice and had very different experiences. First time I left this review, and everything was truly great: "Very tasty and fresh, lots of toppings, fully customizable. The only thing is that the chili sauce wasn't very spicy, but no complaints other than that. Would recommend and return!" Then I returned a few days later at an earlier time and it felt like a different place. No music, indifferent staff. The bowls had a lot more rice and a looot less toppings, mango was so unripe that it was crispy, and so was the sweet potato as it was badly undercooked. Very inconsistent. Wouldn't recommend now as you'd not know what experience you'd be getting

We had a very negative experience at this club. The bouncers were extremely aggressive — they kicked us out simply for placing our jackets on a table and even pushed one of our friends in the back. One staff member (black bouncer lady) in particular shouted at us very rudely, using profanity (“these are our rules, get out”). The situation escalated to the point where we had to file a police report. I do not recommend this club — their staff’s behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Was a sunny day with my family and i joined my wife and child for a drink. When i arrived there was no menu on the table so i ask the waitress (female) and she said there one on your table and i said no there is not. Then she told me i could go find and take one from another table. I found that was rude. As the next waiter (male) i ask him and kindly helped me and even went to find me a menu as he noticed i did not have one. So i thank him for his help and kindness but due the first lady waitress i give this place 1 star as her rudeness and attitude was not correct for paying clients. We only had drinks on this sunny day.

We had a lovely time — the service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was really pleasant. Unfortunately, a few hours after our visit on Friday (we had some fried finger food), both of us experienced a very sudden and intense indigestion. It left us quite unwell for the rest of the night. We’re sharing this not out of blame, but in case it helps the team investigate any potential issue in the kitchen. We genuinely appreciated the experience otherwise and hope this was just an isolated incident.

Extremely overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Korean chicken sandwich which was 12,5€ and I would say it was mediocre at best. I also asked the waitress for no mayo to which she told me that wasn’t possible because the sandwich was already made. My friend who got the avocado toast was also told this when she asked for something taken off. However once our food arrived it was clear it could have very easily been omitted. I’m not sure whether this was just our waitress being rude or an odd restaurant policy, either way, didn’t add to the experience. There are so many other very similar restaurants in the area, find one with better prices or at least food worthy of the price.

Went yesterday for a farewell of a friend of mine. The place is nice, beautiful and well decorated. Although in the end the place got really crowded, the service was still ok. We only have beers, so I cannot judge the food (the price is aligned with Wit's). The thing that really bothered me was the volume of the music. I mean, I understand that is a kind of a night club later, but later. When is 7 pm and people just wanna talk, you don't set the volume that high (and say it is a default volume). Would go back to enjoy the night club and see how it is, but for a regular beer and chat, if you go, don't sit inside.

The place is nice for a drink but DON’T EAT there at all !!! We asked for the eggs Benedict and a vegan taco. It took ages and the plates were cold… The egg were not even cooked correctly, it’s a shame.

I had the yuca with the shredded codfish as starter. It was the first time I had this and was pleasantly surprised that it was quite good. It was newly cooked as well, the yuca was crispy outside and soft and hot. There were 3 sauces that were complimentary. One was really spicy, the other 2 were good. Sweet soy sauce I think for the other one. The dish was fried rice with soy sauce chicken, sausage slices and egg. Interesting but really quite good. Portion size was good for 2 people. Very friendly service. I sat outside, they had a lot of tables and seating outside the restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere in a quite unique restaurant in one of Rotterdam's most vibrant streets! Everything from the soups, sanwhiches and main dishes like nasi goreng were really good and at an affordable price! We got lucky to order ourselves before a storm of hungry people flooded the restaurant (: I recommend stopping by if you have the chance buy be careful with the spicy sauce!!

Very good food! Nice portion sizes and plenty of vegetarian options. I really enjoyed my food here. You order up at the counter and they bring you your food This is the kind of place, that you don't necessarily come to because of the atmosphere, but more for the great food. We were here in February and wanted to go again a few days later for a quick grab before we left Rotterdam but sadly they weren't open yet at the time that it said online, that might be something to keep in mind. I would still recommend going though, we were really happy with the food, especially considering the low price!

AHH I miss Suriname What I wish I could get everything. I got a large bami chicken and a nasi chicken and also the fried yuca with sailfish. This was all very tasty. The bami was tastier than the nasi. The salt fish was okay. Environment This was a rather small restaurant for the busy and popular place! Luckily I was quickly seated as I went and didn't have a wait. Niceness of the staff Very nice staff, explaining the menu to me and also patient with us as we decide on what to order. Wonderful Suri spot with great food, friendly staff, good seating, more pleasant lighting than most Suri places, and really decent prices! Can't recommend this place enough, the NRC Magazine was right to have it in their top 10 Surinamese places in the Netherlands.

Delicious food and genuinely great service—Warung Mini delivers on both taste and hospitality. The dishes are full of flavor, freshly made, and really satisfying. That said, it can get quite busy around lunchtime, so I’d recommend arriving a bit before noon if you want to avoid the rush. Even if you end up waiting, it’s definitely worth it. A solid spot for a tasty, no-fuss meal with a warm and friendly vibe. Would happily go back!

I’ve been a customer at Warung for years and hadn’t been to the restaurant for a while. I’ve recently swong by to get some food and the quality of the food has severely decreased. To start with the taste. I doesn’t compare to the taste of a few years back. It’s blend and lacks flavor. The portions itself contains more rice than meat. I wasn’t able to split the portion as there was only a little bit meat for a third of the portion rice. The restaurant itself looked clean and the service was good.

Absolutely loved the food and the vibes of this amazing place. The Falafel bowl was so delicious and so was the Kasmiri chai. I will definitely come back here!! 😄 Edit: Came back again and tried Hummus-Aubergine, what a delicious dish! All I can say is Mecca Oasis is one of my all time favorite places to eat.

Their Labneh & Eggs, with two fried eggs, creamy labneh, spiced butter, zaatar, pomegranate, sumac, and sourdough pita was also a standout. The labneh was fresh and creamy, perfectly balancing the rich butter and tangy pomegranate. As for drinks, we tried the Dirty Kashmiri Chai and the Sesame Matcha Latte. The Dirty Kashmiri Chai blends traditional Kashmiri chai with a shot of espresso, creating a rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced flavor. The earthy matcha and nutty sesame of the Sesame Matcha Latte gave it a smooth, savory twist that stood out from regular matcha lattes, it's tastes unique. We also tried some of their sweet bakes goods. As a fan of madeleines, the Pistachio Madeleine was a delightful surprise. These petite, shell-shaped cakes had the perfect balance of soft texture and buttery richness, enhanced by the earthy nuttiness of pistachio. Each bite was light yet packed with flavor, making it impossible to eat just one. Next, we tried the White Babka, a regular on Mecca Oasis’s menu. Made with white chocolate, tahini, and pistachio, it was both indulgent and creative. The babka was soft and fluffy, with creamy white chocolate and nutty tahini blending perfectly, while the pistachios added a nice crunch. Watching the bakers work in the open kitchen made it even more special and inspired us to try baking one ourselves! At last, we tried the Tahini Brownie with chocolate, tahini, and halva. It was rich and fudgy, with tahini and halva adding a unique twist to the classic chocolate flavor. Not too sweet, the sesame notes gave it a subtle, savory touch that made it stand out. We’ve been to Mecca Oasis many times, and it’s always amazing. The food is consistently great, and the quality never changes. The service is friendly and welcoming, making it a place we love coming back to. Mecca Oasis is a standout in Rotterdam, offering great food, creative drinks, and a cozy atmosphere. Ordered a cappuccino, the art was nice on the milk, but the coffee was cold and the cappuccino was not what I used too. No taste of the coffee beans. The coffee also came without sugar and when asked they were surprised and I felt like I asked for gold. Never turn your back on a customer and treat him like I do not want you here, last time for me in this place.

This is a really lovely daytime cafe/restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious and tastes like home cooking, atmosphere is really friendly and cosy. Only downside on my visit is I told the waitress (3 times!) I am vegan and they fed me yogurt to which I am allergic… I only realised half way through and fortunately they apologised and made me a fresh plate. Also they don’t do decaf coffee which is a shame.

Really lively buzzy place, we booked but had to wait for a table as it seems you can just rock up and sit at an empty table. Very busy when we arrived but calmed down quite quickly. We chose to sit outside as it was a nice evening but as non smokers that may have been an error when tables either side lit up when they had finished eating. Food was good but wasn’t hot, probably due to the poor service we received from our server. We mentioned when paying the bill and the manager/owner knocked 10% off as an apology which was decent of him. Menus available in several different languages which is good.

Quick service, friendly staff, and generous portions. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The meat didn’t taste fresh or tender, and it arrived at our table surprisingly fast. The inside of the kebab was completely red, which was not pleasant at all.

A colorful, vibrant, and global place. You can enjoy Middle Eastern flavors while sipping your beer. The portions are large and filling, and overall, the food is really tasty.

Been here several times during my student years and came back again after 10+ plus years and it is still the same! Tasty, a vibe and good service overall. The place is big with a lot of tables but they are always busy! Food is decent for what you pay and the service is always friendly and efficient. Came here for dinner but can equally recommend coming for the breakfast. Highly recommended. Will definitely add to my go to places when in Rotterdam.

The tea was nice, and the coffee was good. The sarma was okay…not bad, but missing a bit of flavor. I sat outdoors, and unfortunately, there was bird poop on the table, which wasn’t very pleasant. Overall, not that impressive in terms of food, but it does look like a nice place to sit and have a drink.

I ordered the Tavuk Sis Kebab – grilled chicken breast marinated in saffron and yogurt, served with rice, curry mayonnaise, haydari, Shiraz salad mix, and fries. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked and extremely dry, making it unpleasant to eat. Sitting outside was even worse: the smell of sewage was strong, and seagulls were constantly flying overhead and leaving droppings everywhere, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and unappetizing. The atmosphere felt unhygienic and far from enjoyable. I paid 25€ with soft drinks. The Coca-Cola was either not original, either with lots of water. Overall, it was a disappointing meal in an unpleasant setting. Definitely not a place I would recommend.

Great atmosphere, the place is enormous so there's almost always space to sit. We had breakfast and it was big in variety. I would not come back necessarily for breakfast because nothing was "outstanding" but I am sure we are gonna come back for the real food and re-assess. The only problem is that when is crowded.. is REALLY crowded. Bathrooms are very clean! Waitress was super kind.

I will not find taste of tune in Kuwait, 😩 so i ordered Tuna Samoerai without Avocado, i choose the Alles Bagel, it was dreamy 😍 the taste is just what i want 🌹❤️

I really love this place and often order here, but this specific location was very disappointing. The staff were not friendly at all: when I came in, no one greeted me or said a single word. I was just standing there waiting for my order, which I had already placed online, and they didn’t even acknowledge me. On top of that, they didn’t include the extras that are usually given inside. It’s a shame because I truly like this brand, but I won’t be coming back to this location again.

The food was delightful. I took the Tosti, which I enjoyed very much, and my friend took the Tuna Samoerai. That was as expected, very fishy. The large cappuccino cup is super big, I couldn't finish it. Nice atmosphere, some people are doing homework or study on a Sunday morning. There are many vegan options. There is even a "menu" for pets, which are very much welcome.

Came here before going to the office, I always see this place packed though. Got here early where there was no one and then it did indeed start getting crowded. I like how their menu has different wildlife themes with quotes. Anyways I started off with a mushroom coffee. Wasn’t too sure what it was but gave it a try, smelled different but tasted pretty much the same. Then I ordered an everything bagel with Thai sweet chili cream cheese. My friend ordered an orange juice and a sesame bagel with avocado and cream cheese. I enjoyed my sweet chili cream cheese, it was definitely whipped more. The temperature of my bagel made it melt. Overall solid food.

We have dined twice now at Urban Tapri in Rotterdam, and each time, we had a delightful experience enjoying its wide selection of Indian street food; from its absolutely delicious Dosas (Sada and Mysore Masala) to Idli (steamed rice cake) and Medu (deep-fried lentil fritters), Bhatura (fluffy bread), Rajma Masala, and Dal Makhani. Authentic south indian food that we were looking for. We had dosa, vade, idli and 1 curry and a dal meal with rice. It was amazing. Service by Aaron was really nuce and very attentive to our needs.We'll definitely come back!

The food in this restaurant was amazing we tried Chat, Chole Bhature, Kachori and Fried Noodles with Manchurian everything was perfect. The staff here is very friendly. They take orders online even when you dine in which is amazing to avoid confusion. I will definitely visit this restaurant again and will always recommend it.

My favorite place for dosas and delicious Indian street food in Rotterdam. The prices are reasonable. I am also a fan of the cold coffee (would like an option to add less sugar though.) No complaints about the food, the food is just great!

Got here at 8 pm on a Thursday, lots of open tables to sit and dine in. We ordered Dahi Puri (hollow balls filled with yougurt, chutney and spices), Chinese Combo (vegetarian noodles with Gobi Manchurian), Paneer Saffron Korma (paneer cooked in saffron, cashew and cream), Garlic Naan and finally South India Combo (Idli, Vada, Dosa). I really enjoyed the Dahi Puri, huge fan of Chaat now. The garlic naan portion was a bit of a disappointment, the value just was not there. All the food was solid. The owner was really nice as well. But honestly the value and taste was just ok.

The most authentic Indian cuisines we've savored in the Netherlands. I highly recommend Vada Pav, Mysore Masala Dosa, Masala Chai, Paneer Chilli, and Gobi Manchurian. However, the Misal offered a unique blend of sweet along with spicy flavors, deviating slightly from the usual spiciness. It was a cozy space when we went, but were told that they would be moving into a bigger space in a month or two.

The injera was absolutely delicious, the plates are very rich and colorful, every dish was really tasty. I especially liked the okra and the pumpkin! Many vegetarian / vegan options available.

Very good food in an African atmosphere in Rotterdam, the staff is really nice and it's possible to eat and drink something different from other restaurants, like the exoric beer.
