The 50 best places for steak in Boston

Firstly let’s start with the good. The wagyu carpaccio was really nice, maybe some of the best I’ve had (even as a person who doesn’t usually enjoy arugula). The portion sizes were huge. However, in a lot of the dishes I felt it meant quantity was prioritised over quality. Also, I am a person who enjoys trying a little bit of everything or at least not feel extremely full by the time the second course arrives. The price was not justified and I felt I could’ve gotten a better steak frites for much less somewhere else. The ice cream was also just normal. Nothing was horrible (except the noise but I will get into that) but for the elevated price you’d expect much much more. Also for that price, you’d expect a certain ambience in which this place was extremely lacking in. The noise levels were so bad I had to shout to get my voice heard by my family and I resorted to using the noise cancelling feature on my AirPods (even then it was still loud). Final advice, come here for drinks if: you and your friends know sign language, you want to bring someone who’s voice you find annoying (because you can’t hear them anyway), you want to admire the nicely decorated and designed room and leave immediately. Also at the end of our meal, when dessert came out, they brought out the incorrect dessert for my mother, but then brought out the correct one after being told. TLDR: very noisy, subpar food (for the price) other than the beef carpaccio, service was fine, don’t come before your reservation time you will have to wait

Came to dinner on my first night in Boston. This restaurant was recommended to me by a true Bostonian. It was excellent. From the reception, the spacious venue and comfort all the way down to having a table in the middle of the room where you enjoy the ambiance around the room and have view of the kitchen, it was a show in the evening I was there. Full house. Not an empty chair. The best is always the menu. Food and Flavor comes always First. Yes the service and our server was exceptional. We had some steaks, beef carpaccio and a calamari to die for. This restaurant is classic. Do it.

Classy Steak & Seafood restaurant. Our steaks were delicious, tender and cooked to perfection! We had the Steak Frites and the Filet Mignon. We started with Lobster Bisque Soup. So nice to have a proper Lobster Bisque with small succulent pieces of lobster. With the steaks we ordered Au Poivre (Brandy Peppercorn Cream) on the side. If you like pepper steak, then this is a must have! The mussels were very good. So fresh and well seasoned. We finished dinner sharing a cheesecake. So delicious!

So the food was good and i might say even very good. But it did not have that wow affect so I can't give a 5. New york prime steak was good. The steak and frites were also nice. The crab cakes were mid. You can definitely give this place a shot!

Grill 23 & Bar was an incredible Boston dining experience. We started the evening at the gorgeous bar, sipping the most amazing martinis—served perfectly chilled and covered in a layer of frosty ice, making them as Instagram-worthy as they were delicious. The complimentary bar snacks were a great touch while we relaxed for about an hour. For dinner, I had a perfectly cooked steak with rich, decadent millionaire potatoes, and finished the night with a smooth espresso martini. The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, and the service was top-notch. Grill 23 is definitely a must for both food lovers and cocktail enthusiasts.

I’ve been to grill 23 a few times before and always had great experiences, but unfortunately this visit was a bit disappointing. I ordered the steak Medium Rare, but it came out noticeably more on the rare side. Even the waitress mentioned it was a little under medium rare and said they could have put it back on the grill if we wanted — but by that time, we were already almost done eating, so it didn’t make sense to send it back. Another thing that bothered me was that while we were still finishing our meal, the staff started clearing our table. I was talking and didn’t fully notice until they had already taken away most of the dishes — including some side dishes I hadn’t finished yet. Overall, although I really like this restaurant and have had great experiences in the past, this visit was disappointing. I’d rate it around 3 out of 5 for this time. While writing this review: I realized my beer got taken away without asking! RUDE!

The service was great and the staff are lovely. The restaurant's atmosphere is great for a date or celebration dinner. We tried the 3 course menu at dinner. The complementary breads 🥖 were actually really good and I used it to dip it in the seafood chowder (1st course) 🐚🐟 and it was amazing!! The chowder was 10/10. For the 2nd course, we tried the Steak Frites 🥩🍟 and Roasted Heritage Chicken 🍗. The steak was seasoned well (although I found it slightly salty) and was good but could be more tender. The chicken was moist and good (although the chicken breast part was a little dry). The 3rd course was dessert, and we got the Zucchini Cake 🍰 and the Salted Caramel Sundae 🍨. The Zucchini Cake was my favorite!! So delicious, not too sweet, moist and went so well with the oat crumble and blueberries with the yogurt mousse (my favorite out of everything I ate).

What an unexpected and wonderful dinner! We hadn’t planned on eating at Mooo but ended up at the bar, and it was such a great choice. Everything we ordered was excellent, the steak was perfectly cooked and just melted in the mouth, the carpaccio was full of flavor, and even the carrots were a standout.

I had an excellent meal at Moo....Beacon Hill with my friends. The service from the each and everyone of the staff's was amazing, they really out did themselves and showed care for everyone of the customers. The food was truly amazing I enjoyed the tuna tartare, and the Prime NY sirloin the most and so many other amazing dishes. Definitely would recommend this anyone, looking forward to enjoying this again soon!

excellent food, excellent wait staff and chefs. my partner and i arrived a bit early but were able to sit at the bar for about 20 minutes and the bartender was wonderful, explained a little of the menu to us with some recommendations and answered some questions. the drinks were all amazing. the food was excellent. the steak was cooked medium rare perfectly, and i didn’t expect anything less. i’m glad i came here with extremely high expectations and they all were met exceedingly

We visited Mooo…. in Beacon Hill for a birthday lunch and overall had a good experience, especially thanks to the excellent customer service and beautiful ambiance. The staff was incredibly accommodating—our waiter went out of his way to explain which menu items contained alcohol or pork due to our group’s dietary restrictions, and that level of attentiveness made us feel really cared for. Definitely a 10/10 for service. We started with the Maine lobster mac & cheese ($39), and it was one of my personal favorites of the meal—rich, creamy, and packed with a good amount of lobster. I’d rate it 8.5/10. Alongside that, we ordered the truffled Parmesan fries ($18), which were crispy, flavorful, and totally addictive—9/10. The Yukon gold potatoes ($10–$12) were also a nice side: simple, well-cooked, and worth an 8/10. For mains, we tried the dry-aged ribeye ($95), which was halal. It was decent in portion and cooked to our liking, but slightly underwhelming in flavor for the price—I’d give it a 8/10. We also ordered the Australian lamb chops ($75), also halal, but unfortunately they were the biggest disappointment of the meal. They had an odd taste and lacked seasoning—2/10, which was unexpected from a high-end spot like this. Dessert was a strong finish. We shared the Valrhona chocolate cake ($20), which was rich and beautifully layered with chocolate ganache and crémeux, accompanied by a creamy vanilla bean ice cream that balanced the richness perfectly— 9/10. The ambiance was elegant and modern, a perfect setting for a special occasion. We also appreciated the valet service right outside ($31), and there’s an ATM conveniently located across the street for those who don’t usually carry cash. Despite a few misses food-wise—especially with the lamb—we plan on coming back to explore more of the menu. Dietary limitations meant we couldn’t try everything we wanted this time, so we’re looking forward to a second visit for a more complete experience.

Celebrated a birthday at Mooo…. Beacon Hill and had a fantastic experience! They surprised us with a special birthday menu and sweets, which made the day extra memorable. The food was top-notch, don’t miss the meat dumplings! Big thanks to Lucas for the excellent and professional service.

Upscale, posh and really fancy place. Excellent service level, despite some trouble finding our reservation- which you really need. That was a really turndown. Really felt unwelcomed! They have bone marrow, which is rare and superb!! Steaks was really good and very well (perfectly) done as requested medium. Expensive wines, but their Malbec was excelkent. Enjoyed the meal and had a fantastic time! Forgot to take photos of dinner, but dessert was huge and nice!

One of our new favorite steakhouses in Boston! Good food, good service, nice bar and interior. Would def come again, the steak was melt in your mouth steak. Seasoned perfectly. Crab cake appetizer was also 10/10, as well as all steak sides. Would recommend!

Here is the translation: The restaurant is located in the center of Boston, in the best location. We made a reservation for eight people. The restaurant is a bit noisy in the evening and when it's at full capacity. The food was amazing; we ordered carpaccio and soup for starters, and steak for the main course. Highly recommended.

My friend and I visited here in March 2024 for lunch and the initial intention was to order items from the restaurant week menu, but for some reason we weren't able to do so. We ended up ordering from the regular lunch and brunch menus, and our experience at the restaurant was still very good. The free bread with butter was very tasty, especially the type with darker colors, which I believe was rye bread. We ordered two types of cocktails, one called Poppin' Bottles and one called My Cherry Amour, and both of them had fruity flavors. They were mixed very well and my friend and I enjoyed the start of our experience very much as a result of the bread and drinks. I ordered the shaved beef hash and I thought the portion size relative to the price was very worth it because I was given a good amount of beef, potatoes, poached eggs, and muffin bread, all of which were filling enough for me to become full after the dish. My friend ordered the lobster club and in general had positive feedback about it without a reaction indicating that it was spectacular. Both the sandwiches and the tuna tartare were on the pricier end. Finally we had the vanilla crème brûlée, and since I cook this dessert at home, I thought it was okay because the vanilla flavor was only minimally infused into the mixture. Regardless, it was a good experience and I felt honored that I had the chance to visit a fancy restaurant like this in Boston. I am aware that the establishment has won some type of steakhouse award in Massachusetts from 2015 to 2017, so I would fully expect visitors to get steak here.

My husband and I have been here several times. We valet park, which is $28, and you message them when you will be out in about 15 minutes. Many cars are double parked out front. I ordered the filet with lobster and shrimp add-on. The cost was $105. I wish it included more of the seafood. Steak was tasty, seafood also, but could have been cheaper. My husband ordered the Ribeye and enjoyed it. We also got the broccoli and potatoes au gratin. Both were tasty. Also, we split a Caesar Salad, which is enough for 2 people. Noise level can be quite loud. I felt rushed a bit, which I do not want to be if I am spending more than $300 for my dinner. Waiter was attentive. Worth a visit if you can afford it.

Came here on a Sunday evening having made reservations ahead. Wow! What a delicious meal and the service could not be better. The waiter was extremely attentive and impressive. I mentioned that I wanted my martini ice cold and he brought the mix in an ice bath. They have only prime steak here and unlike other restaurants nearby, the steak is solo so if you want something with that, then you order a side which is enough for at least two people. We all ordered a salad, steak, some sides and then shared some desserts. The bacon in my salad as so good! Check out the photos. I highly recommend this place.

In a word, Sonny. Go there on a Saturday, Sunday or a Monday sit at the bar and listen to the world according to Sonny. All his regulars show up on those days and you are welcomed even if a stranger. The Martinis are classic, done right and the food is terrific. You cannot go wrong with the rib eye medium and a half side of fries and sauteed spinach. With this level of service and food, no wonder the place is packed!

Had a great time at Abe & Louie’s last night. Our waiter Victor was top tier and the food was amazing. I had the surf and turf special. The filet was cooked perfectly and all the sides were great. Will be back !

August 1st (lunch). I wanted to bring my wife to Boston as this was her first time here. I did some prior research and decided to try Capital Grille. We were politely greeted by one the hostesses and ( I forget her name) she led us to our table with genuine care. Our waiter that day was Andrew and he was delightful to deal with. Going thru the menu and giving us recommendations! As you can see by the pictures we tried a few things. I loved the New England Clam chowder and the Lobster Bisque. Our entrees were excellent as we got the Seared Salmon! Loved the dessert choices and Andrew was always attentive and made sure everything was up to our liking. We are from New Jersey and I believe we made quite an impression, in a good way! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant!!

From beginning to end, the service was impeccable! Our waiter Nick Austin, was fantastic! His suggestions and recommendations were spot on. We started with a grilled peach burrata salad & French onion soup. Both of which were filled with flavor and zest. Our meals…left me speechless. The filet and chicken breasts were juicy, tender and perfected with the au gratin and asparagus sides. We celebrated my birthday and they brought out a petite dessert of cheesecake and chocolate cake. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Food: 8/10. Service was outstanding! I’ve been in Boston for eight years and tried many dining restaurants, and this place truly has the best service I’ve ever experienced. Everyone was genuinely kind—not just polite on the surface like in many other restaurants—and the attention to detail was exceptional. I had such a wonderful birthday here. I hope everyone gets the chance to enjoy a meal at this restaurant and experience their thoughtful service.

Yet another Dine Out Boston experience - this time for August 2025. The prix fixe menu has not changed since my last visit, in terms of price ($55) or substance. I went with 3 friends (party of 4) and had a reservation at 7pm on a Wednesday. The place was packed, but after checking at 7 sharp, I got seated in < 10 minutes. I ended up getting - Field Greens Salad - Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip (+$12) - Mashed Potatoes - Creamed Spinach - Creme Brulee The salad seemed fresh and well-dressed. The parm vinaigrette expressed itself as a savory saltiness, with more depth than simply salt. The NY strip, which I ordered medium rare, arrived with the textbook coloration. Notably, the sear's brown did not gradually transition into the warm red center, rather it stopped abruptly. This proved quite the testament to consistency, given that it matched multiple previous experiences. The creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, served family style for my party of 4, tasted quite satisfactory (read: more cream and butter and vegetable or potato). This time, I actually had enough room to consume my dessert. The flourless chocolate cake wasn't overly dense or powdery - a pitfall of these sorts. Nor was it too dense.

Had a wonderful time here celebrating my husband's birthday. Our waiter, Malik was fantastic!! Steaks were amazing.

🚨🚨Listen up!!! This is hands down one of the best steakhouses I’ve been to. Our server Susan was absolutely a charm! I typically go to steakhouses weekly and Susan was by far the best. Great conversation, personality, local content sharing etc. she was very attentive to our dinner service. I highly recommend this location for a date night or just a wonderful experience to celebrate yourself.

Smith & Wollensky Boston never disappoints. We shared the porterhouse steak — perfectly cooked and full of flavor — along with creamed spinach, fried onions, and mac and cheese that were all spot on. Finished with a rich, crackly crème brûlée that tied everything together. The food, service, and classic atmosphere make it one of those places we just keep coming back to.

This place is incredible. The food was ridiculously good. The service was amazing. The drinks were delicious. The food, drinks, dessert and service make it worth the money. Will definitely be coming back here soon!

I had seabass and it was cold and small. Half of it was just thick skin. I was very disseminate. Tuna tartar was small as well. Half the size of what im used to getting at other restaurants and the sesame cracker was soggy. Last time I was there it wasn't like this. Maybe bad chef night?

Ordered the Oscar filet which had lumps of crab and hollandaise sauce. Best crab I've ever eaten. Food was great, but this is a very expensive place.

We’ve been to the Smith & Wollensky in Miami and we were in Boston to watch the Braves play, we decided to make our last night a special one by making reservations here! Best decision ever. I would highly recommend Smith & Wollensky - Boston. Best duck confit I’ve had, and my husband enjoyed his filet mignon. We both added the lobster tails to our meals and of course had the truffled macaroni and cheese to share. Rute G. was our wonderful server, very helpful, and explained everything to us when we had questions. Thank you!!

This place was amazing. Came here for my anniversary and was not disappointed!! We had the clam chowder and surf and turf which was to die for! Staff is so kind, friendly, and happy to be there. They even gave us a huge piece of chocolate cake on the house to help us celebrate. The server even offered for us to get a picture together. The atmosphere was also so cool! Truly grateful for the spectacular experience we had here!

THE ATMOSPHERE: Friendly smiles as we approached the hostess stand. The uniformly dressed and well groomed host confirmed our reservation and then escorted us to our table adorned with a decorative encased burning candle, and formal leaning tableware. The restaurant has ambient lighting, comfortable chairs, and conveniently placed coatracks with a built in umbrella stand. There was no loud music making for easy conversation; the attire leaned towards business casual but one wouldn’t feel overdressed If opting into a more fashionable outfit as this isn’t a fine dinning establishment. The overall aesthetic is attractive. THE SERVICE: Professional and attentive embodying hospitality. We particularly appreciated not having to prompt to refill/order beverages because the waitstaff took initiative. We were served individually plated hot dinner rolls with spreadable butter. All dishes arrived well timed and at the perfect temperature. THE FOOD: The Wagyu Dumplings were nicely crafted, in so far the flavors were well balanced and complimentary. The texture of the dumpling was perfect, but the filling was dense- reminiscent of a firm meatball. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was an absolute stunner, and the standout bite. The ingredients were fresh, and the crab was folded into the mixture perfectly allowing the meat to remain intact. The Old Bay Remoulade was rich and creamy aligning with the flavor profile of traditional tartar sauce. The Grilled Hanger Steak served with Arugula Salad and Frites- meh. The steak was cooked to the requested doneness but significantly lacked flavor resulting in a disappointing bland standalone bite. However, the peppercorn sauce I shall rename “The Redeemer” salvaged the dish. The restaurant took creative liberties in describing the dressed arugula leaves as a salad, because there were no other ingredients in it- a one note bitter experience. The Frites were served hot and crispy, but plated afterwards. THE VALUE: This is not a budget friendly restaurant, which is okay. I did not feel overcharged because the service and atmosphere created an enjoyable dining experience. I value hospitality, and can appreciate chef crafted menus even when dishes aren’t my palate pal. Note: Parking is a nightmare. Take caution because some of the side streets have residential only parking signs and your vehicle will be towed. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was such a good choice! I ordered the braised short ribs 10/10 would recommend. The service was fantastic, we had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and knew the menu well, & was able to give great recommendations based off what we wanted. And when he was busy cleaning a spill elsewhere the hostess made sure we still had everything we needed. •The Braised Short Ribs were so tender and the flavor was perfect. It comes with carrots, mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and caramelized onions. Everything was so good and I say this as a mushroom hater (I keep them on the dish and give them all to my husband typically, I ate some and they weren't bad ) •My husband ordered the Grilled Wagyu Bavette, which came with frites, arugula salad and peppercorn sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked & seasoned. And the fries we top notch, like just as good cold as they were piping hot, and they kept them coming so that was fun.

I have to say wow! Great food and great service. Shane really looked after us. We really enjoyed our meal. If I could suggest one small improvement, read the special instructions on your bookings . I requested a table that we could sit along side each other. We were seated at a standard table, my wife a Bostonian asked to me moved to a booth, felt a little awkward as a Brit. We were moved immediately to a booth.

We should have know after an empty Saturday night that the meal would have gone well. The server was attentive but the meal started going downhill when we ordered a nice bottle of Italian red wine that had to go back because it was rancid. We then order the porterhouse steak which was rotten - you could smell it from the other side of the dining room and it had to go back. The staff replaced the order with something else and sent us after dinner drinks - a nice gesture. To our surprise however, our guest (who was from out of town) but this large bug out of their port wine. We will never come here again!

Although I wouldn’t categorize our experience at Boston Chops as terrible - I probably wouldn’t go back. My husband and I went for an early reservation on a Saturday night. Our waiter was very kind, however he did spill an entire glass of water onto my dress shortly after we sat down, leaving me soaked for my entire dining experience. It was just an accident so no worries - he moved us to a new table since everything on ours was wet and we moved on. The food was very mid for the price. My steak was good (although my husbands was overcooked) but the vegetables were mediocre. Atmosphere was good, it’s a beautiful restaurant. For the high price tag though, and in a city full of other wonderful steakhouses, this just wouldn’t be somewhere I’d recommend. I was hoping I might get a drink comped as an apology for my soaking wet dress, but no such luck. $320 for an average meal was disappointing.

Came here for dinner during restaurant weekend and I'm very glad we did! The start of dinner with a popover was a nice nod to rhe New England experience. The appetizers offered were delicious. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked. The bed of arugula salad it came with was a tasty complement and so was the option of fries. As a whole, I do believe that the menu during restaurant week is quite a steal and could see myself returning back with friends and family.

High quality steaks and sides. Ribeye and Chateaubriand were so good. Broccolini sauce was delicious.

I ordered the short ribs, but as you can see in the picture, it was just one rib! But it was delicious My wife ordered the seared tuna and it was undercooked. Sent it back to get seared some more and they obviously put it in a steam oven or a hot box and then it was just ruined, but on a good side, they did take it off the bill (you can see a peace of the tuna on the side of my plate) The waiter was extremely well-versed in the beef side of the menu, but lacking guidance with the seafood side

came for the dine out boston menu! beautiful restaurant with a classy atmosphere and sleek interior decor. for appetizers, we had the oysters and jump shrimp which were excellent. the oysters were sweet, the jumbo shrimp were crisp and bouncy, and everything paired well together. the popovers with butter were also yummy and crispy. for our mains, i had the filet mignon with steak frites. frankly, this was no where as good as the apps. the filet mignon was tough, the frites were fairly standard, and the arugula was a disappointing side drowning in dressing. for dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding to go. we arrived around 7 and had to depart at 8:45, but our waiter only came around to ask about dessert at 8:30. as a result, we had to get it in a box. the seating in the restaurant was also a little weird. i had two other friends with me and we were seated at a booth, but the booth wrapped around one long side and the two ends of one rectangular table. so it was difficult to make conversation without squeezing in, but then there wasn’t enough space for our plates and cutlery. and there was another couple who were sat at a four person table, so they were awkwardly on one corner together. overall, yummy with a lovely atmosphere. be prepared to spend for a special occasion.

The steaks were cooked to perfection. The sides were demolished they were so good. The service was exceptional! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It is not cheap but no decent steak house in the ISA is cheap but it is worth every cent. We were a large party and our bill was hefty but we left a hefty tip as well because our waiter was outstanding.

Went here after the ballet with my partner and we had a wonderful time! Our server Ari was very helpful in picking out a steak that fit my preferences. Bread service was delicious and the lump crab cake with micro greens was amazing. I got the Piedmontese and it was cooked to perfection. 10/10 we will be recommending this to family and friends and will be back in the future.

Big fan of Boston Chops-this was my first time at the downtown crossing one. Service is always excellent and the food was outstanding. I got the special-Denver steak and my wife and friends got a mix of the seafood and steak. All were excellent. Reservations are a must on a weekend.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here tonight and could not have made a better choice! They were so welcoming, everyone at the restaurant wished us a happy anniversary. The food was beyond amazing and they made us feel so special. I am glad we drove up from another state to come here. Thank you again for a perfect evening. Me and my boyfriend just visited Morton’s for the second time. This time, we were celebrating our anniversary and I can confidently say that I have not had such a positive experience dining anywhere else. They went above and beyond to make our night special. They had the table set up for us with a special note and a heart on the table before we arrived. The whole time they treated us like royalty. They took a beautiful picture of us and printed it out. The food both times was 10/10. You pay for the quality and experience. Danielle was our server and she made all the difference. We will request her every time going forward. She is hands down the best server we have had at ANY restaurant ever!! Thank you Morton’s for everything you do.

We visited Morton's for a client's birthday dinner and the waiter & manager did a good job keeping all 10 of us happy and well fed. Everything was timed out right and the drinks kept coming in a timely manner. I recommend Morton's for a birthday dinner or celebration.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Morton's in the Boston's Seaport, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Our server Sydney was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel completely taken care of throughout the evening. Great service with validated parking ($18 for 3 hours!). While this may not be as posh as some other steak places, one thing this place has is good service and great prices (for a steakhouse!). Items we ordered as of 6/2025: - French Onion Soup - $13 - Good flavor and size is appropriate for the price. While not the best we've had, still quite good. - 14oz Dry-Aged Ribeye - $65 - Absolutely delicious! Extremely tender with a fantastic beef flavor. I would definitely get this one again especially at this price point! They also had a Wagyu set when we went (for ~$80 if I recall) that came with 2 cuts of wagyu beef, 3 wagyu dumplings and a Szechuan green bean side. The 2 cuts of wagyu beef were marinated with a soy based sauce (I think) and were delicious and tender. The dumplings were also a huge hit with a great filling. The Szechuan green beans were alright as they were more sweet than spicy. Overall we were happy with the special and would recommend if they have it when you visit (avoid if you don't enjoy marinated beef!). Also of notable mention, their complimentary onion bread is AWESOME and one of the better breads I've had at a steakhouse!

I have been to Morton's in Chicago, but this was my first time visiting the Boston location. They've added a few slightly different dishes to the menu, especially to highlight some seafood options. My crew loves the dishes and the surrounding atmosphere.

This was my second visit for me and my family at this outstanding establishment. The food is phenomenal! The staff here are very accommodating and personable. Thank you to Gary the manager who welcomed us as we were celebrating 2 birthdays.Thank you to Diane the bartender for her outstanding service and personality! If you are lucky to have her serve you at the bar she makes outstanding cocktails!! Morton’s is a great steakhouse and I highly recommend it if you are in the Boston Seaport area!!

My spouse has eaten here and wanted me to try it. The bread they serve before your food comes out is fantastic. I'm not a bread person, but I at this. The top was crispy and coated with buttery garlic that was outstanding. I truly enjoyed it. The sesame toast was tasteless, not even sure why it was served together. My spouse got the oysters. Again not something I will eat, but my spouse loved them. I ordered a burger with rings from the waitresses' suggestion while my spouse got the baked 1/2 chicken. So, if you follow me, you know how many burgers I try. This was one of the worst burgers all around. It was absolutely tasteless. If you are charging me $20 for a burger, it better be good. Then you add the rings into the mix, which they bragged they make them in-house. I did not expect them to be corn meal coated. I ate one, and that was it. I'm just not a fan of rings in corn meal. I did try my spouse's meal as well. The bite of chicken I had why dry as could be. My spouse loved it. I did enjoy the mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were perfect and full of flavor. Same for the asparagus. I just wished they put as much into something so simple as a burger.

We came across this restaurant while looking up for a place for a nice dinner nearby to Boston, The restaurant is quite nice with a lovely story behind it, The place used to be a stable back in the days and is converted into a restaurant, The decorations resembles horses stable in every corner. Food wise, Food was great however portions are quite large and a bit impossible to finish by one person for each dish we ordered. Meat sliders was the most delicious item in our dinner followed by the complimentary bread and butter, The butter was creamy and salty and bread was fresh and delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly, Cajun chicken were way too spicy and the spices smell was quite strong but it was tasty. Mac n cheese pasta sauce was a bit too runny and not quite tasty. fettuccini was also swimming in way too much sauce so those 2 dishes weren’t as good as the other ones. Salmon was okay-ish The 2 stars for atmosphere is because the seats are very uncomfortable, shaped as horseshoe and space between table and the one piece seat for 5 is very narrow that my little ones found it difficult to get in and out. Overall seating was extremely uncomfortable Otherwise food and service were great.

There are the best clam chowder in Boston for me. I’ve been in this place millions of times. The taste is always good. I also recommend baby back ribs it comes with French fries and Cole slow. Also I recommend steak tips and Manhattan cocktail, margarita is also good. Sometimes taste is less delicious sometimes more. I recommend this place. Oysters are also cool here.

Classic spot with a great old-school steakhouse vibe—dim lighting, good music, and cozy atmosphere! They bring out warm bread to start, and it was delicious. The steak tips were super tender and packed with flavor—some of the best we’ve had! So, so good. The baked potato was solid too. Simple and just right.

We ordered the ribeye. The meat was cooked perfectly. French fries were good. Onion rings are ok but do not compare to the fluffy and tasteful onion rings served in Texas.

My new go-to restaurant. I stopped going years ago as I felt it just wasn't working for me anymore. New owner, new Stockyard! William is a super friendly and accommodating host. My friend and I sat at the bar and were waited on by Myada (and everyone else behind the bar). We started with the fried calamari and Oysters Boom (both fabulous). The drinks were outstanding as well! We then split a sirloin which the kitchen was kind enough to slice for us, and also had the onion rings and Lyonaise Potatos. Everything was terrific! Because it was my friend's birthday, the owner comped us two drinks and desert. I love this place!! This is a terrific steakhouse without any of the snobbery. I love the decor and ambiance of the dining area and especially the huge bar. Can't wait to go back!!! Very approachable & great value!

I have to say, this is the first time I've been to a restaurant specializing in steak ( Capitol Grille, Morton's, Red Tavern ect), that actually can cook a steak and it being well made and seasoned!!! My food was, hands down, delicious!!! Our server was excellent. The only thing is, it's extremely pricey. It was my baby's birthday so it didn't matter.

I went to Del Frisco’s Back Bay with a friend for a late Sunday lunch. We sat at the bar — the bartender was friendly, and his food and wine recommendations were great. Unfortunately, something happened that completely overshadowed the experience. While drinking water, I suddenly felt something sharp in my mouth. It was a piece of glass. When I looked at the bottom of the glass, I saw more small glass shards inside. it was truly frightening, especially since I wasn’t sure if I had swallowed any. This is not what you'd expect from a high-end restaurant like Del Frisco’s. Accidents happen, but something this dangerous should never slip through. I hope they take this seriously and put better safety checks in place,no one should have to worry about their safety while dining here.

First impression was amazing, won’t be my last time here! Attended a large private party upstairs in an area with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating and mingling space, beautiful & sophisticated surroundings, party atmosphere with upbeat music, friendly wandering waiters offering apps, beautifully presented self-serve raw bar and sushi complete with fresh lobster tails, fun and tasty custom cocktails, and a large variety of hot foods served buffet style.

As a business owner myself (as well as a Landry's club member,) I know the impact that a poor review can have on current and future customers, but after receiving no response from Landry's corporate, I feel it is necessary to share our experience at this location. This dinner was a special welcome back to college for my son and some of his friends. We encountered a close to empty restaurant on the night before Sept 1 move in - should have been red flag #1. We chose this Landry’s restaurant as we were intrigued by the Labor Day Special that was listed on the website. As the table ordered this special, we received a blank stare from the waiter. He brought the manager over, who informed us that this special was not eligible at the Boston Back Bay location. We pulled up the website, which stated " This promotion excludes the Orlando location." The manager continued to explain that the Boston Back Bay was not eligible for this promotion. As we had my son’s college friends with us, we refrained from pushing the issue. The evening continued to go downhill from there: 1. My sons’s appetizer was brought well after the other appetizers had been eaten. 2. My steak was not cooked as ordered (Pittsburgh rare) and the server never followed up on the temps of any of the steaks at the table. 3. Plates were cleared before the entire table was finished eating. 4. The restaurant started closing procedures for the evening (removing linens, vacuuming floors) an hour before closing and before we had finished our meal. Over $800 was spent on this poorly executed meal at a supposed “upscale steak house”. What a disappointing way to start the school year.

I want to give a big shout out to the team here at Del Frisco’s. We Held a large educational dinner event in one of the private rooms and everything went perfectly. Ryan- Thank you for your support. Jess and the other wait staff were fantastic. We will be definitely holding future dinner events at this location 10 out of 10!!

This restaurant impressed on multiple levels. The food was exceptional, with each dish offering a distinct and memorable experience. The Shrimp Cocktail was a perfect starter - generous in size and boasting perfectly tender shrimp. The Seared Chilean Sea Bass was the clear highlight of the meal. The combination of perfectly cooked fish with flavorful fried rice and crab was inspired. The Filet Mignon deserves a mention as well. While slightly on the salty side, it was undeniably delicious - a testament to the quality of the cut. Beyond the food, the service truly shined. The staff was exceptionally professional, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Del Friscos! The ambiance was delightful, and it was the perfect spot for my birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, allowing my mom to decorate the table with birthday napkins and decorations. To kick off the meal, they presented a sizzling pan of delectable buttery rolls - a word of caution: they're so good that you might want to save room for the main course! Exploring the appetizers, I decided to try their Shanghai-Style Fried Calamari, and it was truly a revelation. Despite not being a seafood enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised by them. Unlike the usual breaded and fried versions, these were coated in a delightful sweet chili glaze, which made them incredibly flavorful. I also tried the wedge salad, which was refreshing and satisfying. Moving on to the main event, I opted for the prime porterhouse steak. The cut was fantastic, with well-rendered fat that enhanced the overall flavor. As a personal weakness for creamed corn, I couldn't resist ordering it as a side, along with the Brussels sprouts. All in all, Del Friscos provided an exceptional dining experience. From the warm atmosphere to the attentive staff and mouthwatering dishes, it was a birthday celebration to remember.

Listen up: this place is absolutely average (just like Boston). Food was just ok. Not bad, but certainly not good. But what made this place subpar was the service. Our waiter was a bartender who was repurposed from the bar next door. Not really his fault but everyone from the restaurant called out sick and he had to serve us. He was complaining that he “worked 3 doubles” with a negative attitude. My brother in Christ, I do not care AT ALL. Just bring the food. “Just put the fries in the bag”, as they say. Anyways his energy was severely lacking. That, combined with the completely average meal, led me to this review. Thank you for the attention to this matter!

Boston gem in the theater district/down town crossing. Amazingly hidden I have to look up on line to find the entrance. This is a 3 places in 1 ….. steak house is the smallest of the 3. Food is really good but not a 5 stars because the steaks are smaller than expected …. 1 tomahawk feeds 1 person … not 2 … porterhouse is less than that. Menu is short (this is good) and tasty. I don’t like long menus… out of menu plates are available. Bottom line …. Come to this place … or one of the other 2 …. Totally worth and try something new. Find the entrance is a challenge …. But this is the good part …. Don’t want to spoiler it

The service, ambience and the Tomahawk Steak were amazing! There are only about five tables and service feels personal. The cocktails are also quite good! We weren't blown away by the duck fat roasted potatoes or the beignets, however this wouldn't stop us from visiting again when in Boston!

One of the coolest places I have been to have dinner!!! The host that brought us to the restaurant was amazing he beyond friendly and a good sense of humor seeing how when i went to walk out of the bathroom and the coat rack had fallen over infront of the door thought I was locked in 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. The food was absolutely mouth watering!!! If you haven’t been GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Tucked away in the back room of a speakeasy bar, Bogie’s place is a great place to enjoy classic steakhouse dishes. Since it shares the entrance with The Wig Shop, it may be a bit confusing, but I liked that it evoked a feeling of dining at an exclusive club. With only 4 tables and a small private booth, it also had a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, and we had a satisfying experience overall. We started off with the steak tartare and the roasted bone marrow, and both were excellent. Steak tartare was mixed with a concoction of subtly fragrant ingredients such as the dill aioli and fennel pollen, and the capers added just the right amount of acidity. Topped with brown butter panko and persimmon mostarda, the roasted bone marrow was a pleasant surprise: slightly sweet and bitter taste from the persimmon mostarda paired well with the fatty bone marrow. The grilled ciabatta was also a perfect complement to both dishes. On the other hand, the ribeye and the fillet mignon were good but not mindblowing. The charred flavor was a bit overwhelming on the ribeye, but the complimentary demi glace sauce and the grilled tomatoes made it better. If you're looking for a steakhouse with a cozy yet unique vibes, I would recommend giving them a try.

This place caught me off guard. We were visiting Boston and got out late for dinner, and luckily they sat us. Once you go through a pub and through a portal you end up here. We just ate apps and a salad because they were closing, and it was the best octopus I ever had! Drinks were fantastic too. I think there were only three or four tables, so make reservations.

Best meal we've had in the states. Our server Kevin (Hope that was his name) was outstanding, informative & friendly without being in your face. Worth every cent.

A beautiful restaurant with an impeccable team; attentive and friendly! 10/10 Food 9/10 We ordered NY Steak and Filet Mignon medium, and they were cooked to the perfect temperature, only lacking a bit of salt I have nothing to complain about, but unfortunately, I found it way overpriced. People could enjoy it more if the price were fairer, paying for the meat only, without having to pay for sides… $26 for a salad… Anyway, the restaurant is wonderful, but the menu isn’t worth the price I know restaurants of the same level with fair prices, where you can enjoy starters and main dishes more. I’m a cook at a restaurant in Newburyport MA, so I know what I’m talking about I’m saying this without offending anyone, just giving my honest feedback Thank you!

Went to the encore casino location for my birthday and had an amazing experience! From the atmosphere, to the workers and the food. All 10/10. Everyone from the hosts to the ones who delivered the food were amazing and super friendly. Nothing seemed rushed and everything came out perfect in regard to the steaks we ordered. It was a little on the expensive side but worth every dollar spent! They gave me a free desert and card for my birthday as well which was so nice of them! 100/10 recommend!

Food was delicious, Rib-eye was out of this world. Lobster was also delicious. We were received by Steve who was very professional, and such a gentleman. Also the manager was very kind to us, he introduce himself and assured us he was available if we needed him. We enjoyed our dinner as a family, such a beautiful experience. We will be returning.

This was a great experience. I thought this was so overhyped and I never went. But now that I tried it … it’s worth the hype. The steak is perfect. The end. I’m not a big fan of their sides. But I tried a corn salsa appetizer. It was really good. I would’ve loved it on a steak taco. Yum! Perfect with allergies.

Came here for a Bachelor Party dinner. Excellent food. Quality service. Diego made some excellent recommendations. The 3 For option is very reasonable and comes with a starter, entre, and dessert. Definitely would recommend for a date night, business meeting, or any type of celebratory dinner. Someone came for their birthday and the staff took care of them as well without obnoxious loud singing.

I went for a solo birthday 🎉 dinner specifically for the lamb chops and that’s what I received I reserved a seat for 8 pm because I knew it would be less crowded close to the closing time. The wait staff was very nice and there were others birthday celebrations as well I received a complimentary glass of wine and my dinner was served in timely manner hot and sizzling with my side salad of course because it was my birthday I also received a complimentary Cheesecake 🥰 I love the lamb chops with blue cheese crusted it’s sooo good

Ruths Chris never disappoints. Fillet cooked perfectly medium rare with delicious sides, appetizers, and desert. Located in the old City Hall, the atmosphere is refined elegance. At 7:30pm on a Saturday, it was somewhat crowded, but the bar was wide open for walk-ins.

Had an outstanding meal here. We almost didn’t try Ruth’s Chris because we are traveling and didn’t want a big meal or leftovers. So we shared a Ruth’s Classic. I had the French Onion Soup which had a great flavor (but could have been hotter), we split an 11 ounce filet. It was cooked perfectly and was fork tender. We also split the garlic mashed potatoes which were a perfect consistency. Dessert was a cheesecake with berries. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the setting is very nice.

My friend and I had an incredible experience at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse tonight, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing waiter, Khalilah. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive—she took the time to explain everything thoroughly and offered thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be absolutely delicious. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the rich pastas and delicious sides, everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently dined at Davio's in Braintree, MA, and it was an exceptional experience! I had the pleasure of enjoying amazing chicken livers, prawns, and broccoli, and each dish was truly elevated in both flavor and presentation. The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, with warm lighting that created a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere—perfect for a special night out. Our waiter was fantastic; he was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The entire staff at Davio's was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place that offers delicious food in a lovely setting, I highly recommend Davio's! I can't wait to return and try more from their menu.

I've been here twice. I like it. The first time I had risotto, which was delicious. (I didn't take a photo). Today I had filet mignon, which was delicious, and now there's a creamy corn side dish option, which I loved. Today's dessert was a strawberry meringue in syrup with a layer of strawberry and pistachio ice cream inside and a chocolate cake as a base. I simply loved this dessert, it was perfect. My friend had the traditional lava cake. It was also very good. I've been to other Davios restaurants, and the food and service are always very good.

Atlantic Salmon, Eggplant Caponata, Spinach and Tomato Soup review. We sat at the bar. The bread that is complimentary to the table looks like a cone and is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It reminded me of an elevated croissant. DELICIOUS! The tomato soup had too much basil and offered a weird aftertaste. The salmon was cooked to perfection "medium." The eggplant capoanata complimented the dish and added texture plus wonderful flavors. I would definitely come back!

I had expected great tasting food, service and atmosphere, mostly enjoyed only the ambiance of the restaurant. Some of the food was bland and not as tasty as it looked. The gnocchi and clam chowder were good, and so were the oysters and cake with ice cream.

I would love to say I had a wonderful meal but unfortunately I did not. The restaurant was not busy at all. We sat at the bar and had to wait probably a good 15/20 minutes for someone to come over to give us a menu and a drink. We ordered our meals and unfortunately, a few bites into my meal I noticed a big hair coming along the plate underneath the asparagus. I had to wait 15 minutes before someone came over to me. The manager seem to be taken back and said would you like another entrée. I did and waited another 30 minutes for it to come back. Manger did not come over and I paid for the meal. Which is fine. Just gross experience.

The outside seating was comfortable, The drinks menu is awesome. I got the warm spinach salad with chicken and it truly was delicious. The service was friendly, classy, and efficient. Most of all, the General Manager was an absolute delight and made sure we enjoyed everything. I can’t wait to go back. Worth every penny.

A very stiff lipped place with no sense of hospitality. I visited based on reviews. However, the reviews are way overrated!! We had a reservation so it was easier to find a place. The hosts at the reception were warm, but the server (a lady) was extremely hostile and indifferent. She behaved as if we weren't capable of giving her a good tip!! The food and the ambiance were good.. It's an expensive fine dining restaurant. The food quantity is less for the price We asked for a half bottle of zinfandel and were rudely informed that it's our stock!! So we settled for Merlot instead. We ordered the chicken liver fry for starters and 10oz beef steak with blue cheese mashed potatoes. The food was delicious.

Great food, great service! We’re visiting Boston just for a few days and were especially looking for good risotto nearby. We’re grateful to find Davio’s within a short walk for an impressive dining experience on a Friday evening! We had the lobster bisque, New England clam chowder, beef carpaccio, veal with mushroom risotto and the lobster risotto. Everything is very delicious and beyond our expectations. Well done!

I REALLY wanted some fantastic Italian food to end our trip in Boston. We were within walking distance from the park and the reviews on Google were high - 4.4. I should have checked Yelp per usual. 3.9 stars as of this moment. I try to stay away when it’s below 4 because I know how picky I am. We shared everything, per usual, to try more. We started with the tomato soup and beet salad. The tomato soup was savory and delicious. One could hope for more crostinis with goat cheese of course. The beet salad was strange. I feel that it needed to be served atop greens. The fried goat cheese balls on top were what I liked about it. For entrees we did the split versions of the tortellini and the gnocchi. The gnocchi direly needs a little sear. They are so mushy. The flavor is good but the texture is so bad. The tortelloni was under al dente. You could see that the pasta was not cooked through when cutting it on eat. Unfortunately, our server was also the bar tender so he did not make it to our table to offer fresh cracked pepper or freshly grated cheese for the pasta. I think that may have made it slightly better but the massive technical errors were a huge let down, especially at the price point.

Davio’s is located in Back Bay / Park Square, so there’s a nice balance between that classic Boston charm and easy access. If you want a special night out with great food, polished service, and a little peek behind the kitchen door, Davio’s is a strong choice.

I recently dined at Davio’s Italian Steakhouse near Back Bay, and overall, it was a great experience! The standout for me was the clam chowder—absolutely fantastic and some of the best I’ve had in Boston. My steak was flavorful and well-prepared, though it wasn’t cooked quite the way I prefer. Still, the quality of the meat was excellent. As for desserts, they were decent but didn’t blow me away. I did enjoy the eclair—it was a lovely treat to end the meal. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it for a nice night out, especially if you’re a fan of seafood and steak.

Tip - check out the Yelp reviews. We arrived at 6:30 for a 6:45 reservation on a very busy Friday evening (parents weekend at 4 Universities). After checking in with the hostess and waiting about 10 minutes they said our resy is for 7:45! After much discussion about the resy time, we decided to wait at the bar for "the 7:45 reservation". Barman was fantastic and shared pizza was great. It's now 8:00 - an hour and half since our arrival. Since no one is approaching us we go the hostess again. No apologies and we are told there is a table opening up, just needs to be cleared. If we hadn't invested so much time we would have left. The food was good and waitress very professional but the hospitality in the restaurant is grossly inadequate.

One of my favorite places to go for lunch in seaport when I want to miss the dinner crowd. Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. The cheesecake is great if you are in the mood for something sweet after a good meal.

Had a great experience at The Palm, we ordered the bone in ribeye, large lobster tail, shrimp cocktail, bacon slab, oysters, corn cacio e Pepe, and broccolini, with key lime pie for dessert. Everything was top notch and we will definitely be returning! Aether was our server and she was very attentive and even comped our lobster tail for us as the first one was too overdone, but the second came out perfectly steamed! That was really great customer service and we appreciated her doing that. Another thing we really appreciated was that they found us a great alternative when they unfortunately were out of the Riesling, we liked the suggestion so much we ended up getting the entire bottle! Absolutely beautiful interior. Vaulted ceilings and every attention to detail. The environment makes you feel like you're in a truly special place. Palm steaks are always among the best any high-end steakhouse has to offer. Our only wish is that they offered more allocated bourbon. The whiskey choices were fairly muted. When visiting Boston, we will definitely be back at this beautiful restaurant.

The Palm in Boston was easily one of the best date nights we’ve ever had. The ambience was upscale and elegant, yet relaxed enough that we could actually hear each other and enjoy a proper conversation. One of the main reasons I chose The Palm was because very few restaurants in Boston serve Rombauer Chardonnay, one of my absolute favorites—and it was every bit as good as expected. The food was outstanding. Starting out, we took the jumbo shrimp in honey mustard and it was just terrific! The Branzino, paired with a flavorful jam, was fantastic, and the chicken parmigiana was generous in portion and equally delicious—we had to take a lot of it home. Our server, MacKenzie, was wonderful; attentive, personable, and he even brought out a massive chocolate cake on the house, which he made himself. Paired with decaf espressos, it was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything about this place felt polished and top-class, from the décor to the smallest details, even down to the quality of the paper towels. I’ll definitely be back again—The Palm exceeded every expectation.

Amazing restaurant. Beautiful interior and patio!! They have started a new brunch menu and the options are incredible. Big lobsters, big steaks, and big hospitality from host, to the bar, to servers, chefs, and management. One of my favorite new discoveries in Boston was stumbling upon this Restaurant, and they have been in Boston for 25 years!!

I came here with my mother on a Friday for lunch & the host & waiter were gracious and service was fantastic. The waiter worked with me to accommodate my meal request & the food was delicious. They provided us with a complimentary dessert (chocolate cake) courtesy of the waiter who is a talented baker. I will definitely be back!

The meat was flavorful but that’s about it. There was nothing good in the buffet. I wish they had an option to just get the all meat plus two sides instead of the buffet. There’s something weird about a restaurant where people just come from the street straight to the buffet. Service was good and seem nice. I’m sure it would be a treat if you speak Portuguese.

Where do I start , Don't be intimidated by the high price time. It's worth every bit, the staff is to die for, the guys who cut the meat someone the nicest people ever, foods always fresh and always good no like seriously ask the staff I can here twice a day for 3 weeks and every single time the food is 10/10 no I mean not once did something taste off or spoiled or under seasoned or anything, it's actually amazingly impressive! Wish they had A Members club for people that go frequently so we could get discounts etc. That would be my only complaint.

Carioca restaurant-style atmosphere, excellent service, but ask for three factors: they need more seafood, they don't serve the typical local coalho cheese unless you eat at the all-you-can-eat buffet, and I tried the passion fruit and chocolate cake, and it wasn't fresh and it's not close to the style of Brazilian desserts. But the food is very fresh and delicious, congratulations.

My friends and I recently went to Oliveiras in Somerville and had a great experience, thanks to our server Evandro. He was very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit, giving us great recommendations from the menu and making sure we had everything we needed. I was craving some meat and decided to try a rodizio for the first time. I went for lunch, and they had two price options: $23, which doesn't include meat, and $45, which does, so I went straight for the $45. From the moment I walked in, the host greeted us very warmly. The staff was extremely friendly-someone even pulled out my chair for me to sit. The restaurant is beautiful, with well-arranged tables and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious. I went on a Monday, so it wasn't very busy, but I really appreciated that the staff was constantly checking to make sure all the food was fresh, well presented, and kept at the right temperature. Overall, it was an excellent experience: great service, a pleasant ambiance, and high-quality food. 10/10

We had a wonderful experience at Alma Gaúcha! Everything—from the food to the service—was absolutely top-notch. We went for the all-you-can-eat and it was awesome. They kept bringing out so many different kinds of meat, and most of it was really tasty. A couple of pieces were a little chewy, but nothing that ruined the meal. The salad bar was packed with options and honestly could’ve been a full meal by itself. What I liked the most was the service. The staff were super humble, quick, and really friendly the whole time. They made sure our table was taken care of without hovering, which made the experience even better. Overall, we left full and happy. The food, the service, the whole vibe made it a great night. I’d definitely recommend this place and for sure plan to go back again.

had a very bad experience with Alma Gaúcha. My order arrived 90 minutes late, and when it finally came, it was a complete disappointment. Several items were missing, the rice and beans were served in foam cups (with the beans leaking everywhere), the dessert was melted, and the meat was cold. The food quality and presentation were unacceptable — I ended up throwing the entire order in the trash. This was a waste of both time and money, and I definitely do not recommend ordering from here.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! The service was impeccable, as soon as I started to think about wanting something there’d be a waiter to come and provide it. You could tell they actually really care about providing a good experience. The meats were the best I’ve ever had, just perfectly cooked, exactly what you’d expect from an upscale Brazilian stake house and more. It was also for my graduation and they said the desert was on the house, and they wrote on the plate “congratulations.” Our waiter Paulo also offered some kind words that were very appropriated. I would highly recommend coming here! The waiters I had, Paulo and Camila were fantastic :)

Everything was perfect - I don’t even have things to point out! Our party of 10 loved everything! The drinks are strong and very creative! Really recommend! Came here on a Thursday evening with a 6:30 dinner reservation for two. We were seated promptly at a high top in the lovely bar area. Our server, Jorge, was super helpful and answered our questions about the menu. We put in our drink and food order shortly after being seated. The cardamomo fresco was such a lovely cocktail that we ordered it twice! After a short wait, we got our food order with the scallop crudo appetizer along with fried mozzarella with caviar at 6:55. The scallops with brown butter and sweet potato were excellent! The fried mozzarella and caviar was also a lovely way to start the meal. After a bit of a longer wait, our entrees came out at 7:45. We ordered the chicken parmigiana and the spicy pici (hand-stretched Italian noodles). The chicken parmigiana was excellent and well-fried although it could've used a little bit more tomato. The spicy pici was also fantastic and the nduja meat sauce had a lot of flavor. After another longer wait, we got our dessert order at 8:10 and got the olive oil chocolate mousse. It wasn't to sweet a the olive oil definitely enhanced the dish! Took a while until we got our check and paid at 8:40. Overall, the food was fantastic, but the service was a little slow which may have been due to being understaffed for the potentially busier than normal Thursday night and/or the needy customer next to us complaining about her chicken parmigiana being too cheesy. Definitely recommend coming here for the food and cocktails, but be prepared to wait.

Just had a FANTASTIC meal here. This is definitely being added to my list of favorite Italian restaurants in Boston! We also felt that everything was reasonably priced given their massive portion sizes. I would definitely recommend their caesar salad and pizzette, which was like a South shore style pizza but a little bit fluffier. Extremely cheesy and outstanding. We got the boneless ribeye, which they sliced and the lasagna was also 11/10—a humongous portion size that was rich, but I felt like I could’ve kept eating more and more. For dessert, you must try the torta gialla and the olive oil chocolate mousse. Other Google reviews reference the tiramisu, which I cannot speak for (dessert trio includes has all 3 desserts for $23—$3 more than if you just got the first two). The torta gialla was this delicious cake with crunchy bits, adding a nice texture. I also do not like maraschino cherries, but I LOVED the combo of cherries and chocolate in the mousse. Hope to come back again soon!!

Went to Prima for my anniversary dinner and couldn’t say enough good things about the food and staff. Our server was fantastic. The whole waitstaff was so accommodating and really helped make the night feel special. The food and drinks were excellent across the board, and the atmosphere was top-notch. We’re incredibly thankful for the entire experience and will definitely be making this a go-to spot!

My husband and I went for the first time last night and we were blown away by the atmosphere, the amazing food (everything we ate had a wow factor), but by far our favorite part was the service staff. Ryan took care of us and we left feeling like friends. He was so helpful and attentive, giving great recommendations and a little tour of the place. Celebrated a birthday dinner here this week and it was fantastic! The place was packed on a week night (for good reason!) We were seated in the rose room, it was so lovely! The food was great and our waitress was amazing! The tiramisu martini was unreal!!! Prima is such a gem!

Absolutely worth the visit. As someone who has lived in Boston for the past 5 years, I have made it a point to try as many "hyped up" restaurants as I could, finding most just genuinely were nothing too special or worth a second trip back. Prima however truly exceeded expectation and will forever be a recommendation. From the beautiful custom bar in the front room and the gorgeous quaint back room, to the exceptional service to the point they will physically walk you to the bathroom if you ask where it is instead of pointing, down to mouthwatering food. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection- not to mention how large the portions were and how reasonably priced everything was. Lastly, the Strawberry Tiramisu, may be one of THE BEST deserts I have quite literally ever had in my life and this is not an exaggeration. Reservations recommended. If you haven't already, add Prima to your list!

An enjoyable experience at Del Frisco during Boston Restaurant Week. We had plenty of food. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary bread for its balance of sweet and buttery. The lobster bisque is slightly salty though still flavorful. The steak was definitely the highlight, perfectly cooked to taste, paired with the delicious garlic butter. I do wish they included the steak with some sides. The salmon was unfortunately underwhelming, if not slightly dry. As for desserts, the butter cake was too sweet, and the cake itself was so hard that it required force to crack. The chocolate mousse was quite good, as it's hard to go wrong there. Overall, there was some hit or miss there with some of the food items, but I did enjoy my evening there - perhaps w good company.

I was there for a birthday party last night and it was absolutely amazing the staff was on point 100% very professional very courteous very tentative to all our needs true blessing Jacob is fantastic at his job phenomenal couldn't ask for a better evening and the birthday girl was exquisitely pleased!! I would like to add the bathroom was extremely clean the every part of the ambiance truly amazing including staff!! There are people that are there that appreciate good service food and personality thank you very much

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Was in Boston with my brothers and decided to come to Del Frisco’s and let me tell you, from food to view to service everything was absolutely perfect. Our server Jeff recommended our entire meal and it definitely did not disappoint. He even recommended places around to visit, since we are not from here. Thank you for everything Jeff!

The appetizers were amazing, we ordered the thick cut bacon which was really tasty and we really liked the tuna. The NY Strip was perfectly cooked to my liking and very well seasoned.

Great, standard steakhouse fare. Nice spacious bar . It's up a flight of stairs, so good views of the water. We had a reservation. And needed it. Very popular place. I had crab cakes, not steakhouse. My friends said the steak was perfect.

Made a reservation for a party of eight for my best friend‘s birthday party. Halfway into ordering my meal, valet totals a $100,000 Porsche. I had to deal with the whole situation outside for about an hour, by the time I came back in the food was on the table. Del Frisco’s took zero responsibility. Didn’t comp anything, nor did they feel any remorse for the situation. I know it’s an outside company they use, but it still represents their facility. Very disappointed in the way they handled the situation. I expected better.

The restaurant is a bit hidden if you’re coming from the corner entrance, but there’s a side entrance that takes you directly to the front desk. The meats were decent, some could have used more seasoning, and the selection was a bit limited compared. The desserts were underwhelming; mostly standard options like New York cheesecake, which felt out of place. I would have preferred more traditional Brazilian sweets. They had a grilled pineapple with cinnamon was simple but really good. Great place for a big group!

Fogo de Chão has been my favorite Brazilian grill for many years. Always delicious, the staff are always so friendly, and the best limeade ever. Make sure you bring stretchy pants, the staff is very attentive and you are offered meat every 10 seconds. Don't forget to try some fried cheese with honey. Always worth the price.

Loved it. The staff were friendly ans great. The service was excellent overall. Their steak was so good. We ended up getting the tomahawk. It was cooked really well and the salt dish they had only added more flavor. Will definitely be coming back for some more yummy food!

We love our server, Daniel Dut. This is the kind of service we want when we go out with my family and friends. We had a great time celebrating my friend's 41st birthday. We would love to come again for another great moment. The food was good, and the people who served the meats were friendly too. But all in all, we like Daniel Dut for his hard work and being a jolly server. On in all the services of this restaurant are great.

It's a nice place and a waiter was very attentive and helped us out to find the meat we would love. So definitely a great service, but to be seated we waited pretty long and lady didn't told us where to go, didn't have us menus when we sit down and for like 5 minutes we were just sitting there waiting for someone to come up. The meat was great, very tasty, totally worth it. Salad and sides island could've been better, not much choice there. But great overall, I would come back

Super disappointed we go to Brazilian steakhouse often and this was not a great experience. The rice was cold in the buffet area . The feijoada had no meat in it . The Churrasco Meat wasn’t seasoned well . A few ok points The service was good . The drinks were good. And the roasted pineapple dessert was yummy. But all in all a disappointing experience. To top it off at the end I went to the bathroom and in the back hallway there was a mouse running on the floor. I quietly told an employee but they looked around and acted like I didn’t see it.

My friend and I had lunch there today and it was such a great experience, Stephanie was our server/bartender, she was amazing, no complaints at all! We got the Picanha burger and a passion fruit caipirinha. The food was so great and totally worth it! If you wanna a tip, ask for the barbook, they have such great food in there for a great price! Next time I’ll get the rodizio!

We made a 6pm reservation since it was a Friday night. We walked in 5 minutes early and were seated immediately, but it did get busy shortly after. We started with drinks as we reviewed the menu - a captain with coke and the berries and bubbles. The dry ice in the berries drink was a cool experience and tasted great. The manager, Tyler, walked around to welcome each table personally, which was a nice touch. We then shared the calamari as an appetizer, a filet with lobster tail and the 2 lobster tails for entrees, and the pumpkin butter cake and a crème brûlée. Everything tasted delicious; well seasoned, tender, melt in your mouth smooth. The pumpkin butter cake was unlike anything we’ve had before! The service was also exceptional - friendly, well-timed, organized, attentive but not overbearing. Overall a great night and worth the price!

Celebrated my anniversary here! It was my first time at Ocean prime and the food was divine. Our waiter was so kind and genuine. And the espresso martini + carrot cake was the perfect dessert.

I recently had my anniversary dinner here and was blown away by mostly everything. We were served by Hector who was a highlight of the experience and obviously loves his work. He explained everything including the incredible nightly specials. We got the wagyu which was incredible with a subtle earthy flavor. I also had a lobster tail which was nothing short of perfect. The brussels sprouts were also great, served with caramalized onions that gave it a sweet flavor. The asparagus was sadly disappointing which leaves my food portion of this review short of 5 stars. It was perfectly cooked (something i can never replicate at home) but the flavor was lacking. The hollandiase was a perfect consistency, but still lacking on flavor. We also got a free scoop of sorbet for the event which was amazing and blew my girlfriend away. lll be recommending this place to all my friends and will be returning.

We visited this popular if pricey restaurant, which was recommended by a friend who lives in the greater Boston area. I had the ribeye, oscar style (scallops and cream sauce on top of the steak with 3 spears of asparagus underneath). My 1st time trying it in this style and if I was a more experienced diner, I would have gotten the sauce on the side. Tasty, for sure, but I prefer my steaks pure. My date got the filet with a side of lobster tail and she loved it. Our server, a young, knowledgeable, soon to be mom, was fantastic! And, as has been noted in several reviews, the carrot cake was delicious!

I believe out of all the places I have been during my one week visit to Massachusetts, Main, and New Hampshire, this was the best place I had dinner at. Furthermore, being a creme brulee fan, I can guarantee youin my 20+ years in the USA searching for a good creme brulee, this is the first and only place who served a great and true creme brulee.

Service and food were awesome! We started with an octopus appetizer that had a nicely medley of flavors with the grilled octopus. I had the Moussaka vegetarian option that was delicious while my friend had a Mediterranean sea bass that she absolutely enjoyed.

The service here is impeccable!! I have an allergy and they went above and beyond to ensure I had a great and safe meal! Chef David was so lovely and I truly cannot write enough great words about him and the restaurant. The food was soooo good too!! I'm still thinking about that crab cake and the lobster pasta. I need to return ASAP for that. Highly highly recommend!

As a level 10 google maps reviewer, I take my reviews seriously and I want you to seriously consider choosing another steakhouse in the Boston area rather than subject yourself to this one. I rarely write a review this critical but my experience here was so awful that I have to share it. 1)The music is loud and obnoxious 2)It took almost 10 minutes to get my drink and it was made incorrectly, but I was tired of waiting so I just drank it. The martini spilled all over the table as Max, my server, delivered it. He made no attempt to clean it up or to offer a coaster/cocktail napkin. I used the paper menu to create my own (see photo) which still didn't give Max the hint. 3)I wanted to order my salad separate from my dinner order. I was told that was not possible, why? There were literally 5 tables in the restaurant at the time. 4)The prices are insanely high for a restaurant of this quality. 5)The $28 wedge salad was actually very good - cold and tasty. 6)My Bonanza cab was served in a cheap wine glass, that felt as if I was in an Applebee's. 7)When my ribeye steak was delivered the runner told me I had to cut into the steak to see if it was the correct temperature. What? How tacky could a restaurant be? If it wasn't properly cooked I would tell Max when he checked up on me. 8)The ribeye for about $80 was nothing special at all. I've had better steak at Outback for more than half the price. 9)The bill was $216 plus a 15% gratuity for one person! I had a martini, a glass of Bonanza cab, a sambuca, a bottle of sparkling water, a ribeye, a salad, and the mixed vegetable side. 10)Max put down a QR code at the end of the meal (see photo) and asked for a good review because, "his schedule depended on good reviews"! That was the last straw for me and the ultimate in low class, tacky service. I mentioned this to him and he agreed but said his managers make them do that. The reviews for this restaurant are suspect. Just look at the number and frequency or reviews with reviewers that have no previous reviews. Reviews on Trip Advisor are 2.8 and Yelp and Open table aren't any better. They are somehow gaming the Google map review system. Don't be fooled by this place it is overpriced, loud, with terrible service and food quality not commensurate with their prices and reviews.

Seen this gem on IG and when I seen the google reviews I just knew I had to come here. I came here tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday and my experience was a complete 10/10 !!! The venue was so beautiful like everything was so nice. There was a giant STK filled with flowers on the wall and that alone was amazing. I liked the furniture everything looked really nice, clean, and comfortable. The women’s bathroom was really clean and I liked the sink a lot. My appetizer was the short rib quesadilla and I give it 10/10 my husbands steak+cheese egg rolls were 10/10 I ordered the surf+turf 6oz filet topped with truffle butter + 3 giant prawns and just wow 🤩 absolutely amazing my steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned delicious with peppercorn. We both shared a side of Parmesan Truffle Fries (sides are shareable btw) and those were really good as well. We both loved our waitress Ana who was very attentive. She refilled my drink without me having to ask and when I told her what we were celebrating while my husband was away she came at the end of our dinner with The Cloud dessert as a surprise at no charge. I was really appreciative and never had such great service like that before at a steakhouse. This place is a solid 10 and I highly recommend coming here for any occasion. Also I was feeling the music the dj was killing it with the songs !

I was looking for a place to enjoy a delicious steak and I think I found the right spot! The ambiance and decoration of the steakhouse are pleasant. The cowgirl bone-in ribeye was fantastic and perfectly prepared, exactly as I wanted (rare). The spinach side dish was more cheesy than creamy, but the mushroom pot pie was a good one. I had the chance to be served by Saray: she kindly addressed all my requests, with lots of attention. Very professional. Merci Saray!

Went about 9 on a Sunday night - not crowded - no reservation needed. Service is slow for being fairly empty. Ordered an appetizer, a steak, two sides, the pumpkin crab ravioli special and the truffle tagliatelle. The ravioli you would expect to be crab and pumpkin inside the ravioli - this was a pile of wet mush on top of the ravioli swimming in a pool of oil - it was so disappointing - the truffle tagliatelle - I sent it back because it had truffle oil - I am an executive chef - who completely knows better than to ever send food back - especially late on a Sunday night - but I cannot stand truffle oil - when the server brought the exact same dish back - announcing there was no truffle oil - the kitchen just “forgot” to add the shaved truffle - a 70$ pasta dish and you forgot to add the thing that makes it cost 70$ - unacceptable. The steak had the addition of a 13$ truffle butter we didn’t order but it was on our bill. The asparagus side cold and looked like they were scraping the bottom of the barrel to put together a portion, skip the potato tots, big, tasteless fried golf potato balls. This was definitely a one and done - it’s our fault for eating late on a Sunday when most Boston restaurants close at 9 - and picking a place that had every single reservation time slot available…. We should have known better - hoping this helps the next person. This was the managers reply. First, I'd like to apologize, seems like we missed the mark on your dining experience. So three of us went to dinner but only two of us can go back lol- none of us are ever going back. Again - skip this place - we went to SI CARA the next night - EVERYTHING was amazing - go there instead. The next night we went to Bambara Kitchen + Bar at the Kimpton Marlowe - again - amazing - so many great restaurants in Boston - skip STK!!

My first experience at Eddie V’s yesterday was amazing.It was a pleasure to dine in and receive top tier service. The moment my son and I walked in, until we left we were well taken care of. They accommodated last minute seat changes. The waiter was very hands on and available and to top it off the food was amazing. I’m a huge fan of calamari and it was on point. Followed by lobster tacos which were full of flavor and surprises. The lamb chops paired with the chimichurri had my mouth watering. To top it off the truffle Mac and cheese, paired with the lamp chops will forever have my tastebuds yearning for more. I was very pleased with my meal and the service. Speaking of top tier service, I was stuck in the parking lot because my credit card wouldn’t allow me to pay. Turns out I left my debit card inside the restaurant. The manager whom was in the grey suit found which parking lot I was in and brung me my card. When I tell y’all, I went home and almost cried tears of joy. This was by far the best restaurant I’ve experienced. My son and I go out often, I will surely make this one of our goto spots.

I dined here with friends and it was the best experience! The staff was professional and the ambience was soothing and perfectly suited for the occasion. Food was tasty, well presented. I had the Chilean sea bass, Crab fried rice, and the grilled asparagus. A bit pricey I’d add but I’d go again 😅.

I give my first visit to Eddie V’s in Boston on 9/3/24, a 10/10 definitely recommend. I enjoy solo dates, and that particular night was for my birthday. The staff was very accommodating, and that was even before mentioning my birthday. John, the bartender was so friendly and sweet. Alex and I believe Lauren gave me a little history about the Eddie V’s itself since I was one of the first to arrive that night. And John, continued to checked on me and had such patience with my indecisiveness of the menu. They have a live band after 6:30Pm which made it an even nicer vibe. And on a Tuesday, I was able to find a meter parking spot right out front. The crab-cake was the best I’ve ever tasted and John brought over the sweetest dessert to help me celebrate my night. I will definitely return.

I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and it was the best restaurant experience I’ve had to date! The food was a 10/10 super delicious and rich!! The service was also amazing, we had Danny and he was so attentive and kind. They even decorated the table, sent over free champagne and dessert because it was our anniversary. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place it’s a must try!!

This woman is not just a server she’s a culinary concierge, a hospitality magician, and quite frankly, a reason to book a reservation here ASAP. From the moment we sat down to the last indulgent bite of our Bananas Foster, Kari was in command. Attentive but never intrusive, warm yet professional, she anticipated needs before they even formed in my mind. If you’re making a reservation on OpenTable, do yourself a favor and *request Kari*. She’s the kind of talent restaurants should be fighting to keep so, dear manager, give this woman a raise and start training her for leadership. Now, let’s talk food. We started with the lobster tacos, which were exactly what you want in a seafood starter light, flavorful, and just indulgent enough to set the tone for the meal. My entrée, the stuffed shrimp, was buttery, rich, and perfectly cooked, while my husband’s crab cake and salmon held their own as well-executed seafood classics. The real showstoppers, however, were the sides the lobster mashed potatoes were pure velvet, the crab fried rice was a luxurious upgrade to a staple, and the Brussels sprouts brought the ideal crisp-char balance. And of course, no trip to Eddie V’s is complete without their Banana Foster dessert it’s an absolute must, every single time. I’m a self-proclaimed regular(-ish) at the Burlington location, mainly due to parking woes at Belvedere, but this visit was a reminder that some experiences are worth the hassle. Even post-Restaurant Week (when service at some spots tends to wobble), the place was packed, yet Kari didn’t miss a beat. Would I come back? In a heartbeat. Would I request Kari again? Without question. Would I suggest that Eddie V’s recognize and reward her excellence? Absolutely. Consider this review my official nomination.

I’ve been going to Eddie V’s for years and I’ve always had a good experience! And of course, the food is amazing. Our waiter Nino was friendly and very attentive. However, I am saddened to learn that Eddie V’s (prudential) will be closing. Mother’s Day was their final day open. This location will be missed.

It's good seafood but not near the best I've ever had, no what makes this place shine is the impeccable service. Without a doubt I have never felt so taken care of by a waiter. Japanese politeness and Texas's famous southern hospitality couldn't compare to what I experienced here. I walked in 30min before closing after a long workday myself yet somehow my server (Danny) who had been on shift for roughly 6hrs was as chipper and friendly as can be, making sure I enjoyed my meal as much as possible. I get it's their job and they're working for a tip but dang, well done.

I was craving steak a few weeks ago so decided to try this French restaurant. I ordered the steak and fries which comes with a side salad. They also serve bread with the salad before the meal and it was so good. As for the steak, I ordered my steak medium well however it came medium with blood oozing out. I informed the waitress and she was kind enough to take the plate and ask the chef to cook the steak a bit more. It also came with too little sauce so we asked the waitress and she brought us more at no cost. This shows how great the service is. But I honestly didn’t like the steak much. The meat itself is good but without the extra sauce it was a bit dry and with the extra sauce it felt too heavy. It’s a good value for money but not the best steak I had.

Couldn’t be happy with this dining experience. I was directed here, after my original choice closed early. I sat at the bar, and Jordyn was my server. She gave excellent dinner recommendations, as well as Cocktail and app suggestions. The steak tartar was perfect. The hamburger was top-tier. Would highly recommend, if you find yourself in the Boston area.

Walked in for brunch and I asked to be seated at the bar. Escaped the patio wait by doing so. Their lemon ricotta pancakes are as good as they come. Superb. Washed it down with a Carajillo (technically not on the menu) but the bartender was happy to make it. Perfect. Being a vegetarian, my options were a little limited but I think the pancakes were good for me to come back to try them again. Their service was top notch and the waitstaff were incredibly attentive. Sergio behind the bar was super friendly too.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here the other night for dinner. We both had the wood grilled sirloin and it was so so good. Also our server, Diego, was absolutely amazing. He knew so much about the menu and it just felt like he cared about us having a great experience. Food is great, service is great, also the overall look of the place is so pretty. Definitely recommend!

A good French restaurant but it lacks the ambiance that I expect from a quality eatery. Although the food that is served is of very good quality, the surroundings are more in line with a sports bar and definitely not cosy. We had to send one of our main meals back as it was not hot enough, perhaps sitting in the kitchen for too long.

We really loved our experience at Rochambeau! The table got the French onion soup, the steak frites special, and the short rib. I loved my extra dirty martini, it was the perfect balance. Nico was an excellent waiter! Definitely recommend!

Rochambeau is an upscale French and European restaurant serving both a Steak Frites Prix Frie Menu as well as regular French cuisine. The staff were wonderful, coming over to our table to ensure we were being treated well, explaining the menu and any questions we had, as well as serving us on the house dessert because we were celebrating a birthday. They asked us about allergies and served us food without allergies, even considering cross contamination. There did seem to be a bit of a rush though, but that could be due to a large event occurring on the first floor. We got the Steak Frites Prix Frie Menu, at $37 per person. It came with a salad, that was a bit bland looking due to it only being the greens. The salad itself was great, with a nice dressing that sort of tasted like Caesar, however was a bit more tart. The bread was amazing, with a nice fluffy but crisp texture. It was served warm, with a nice butter that melted as you dipped the bread into it. The highlight was the Steak frites, which came with fries tossed in a nice seasoning. The steak itself was a bit on the smaller side, though was cooked to perfection and served with a nice sauce that was buttery and tasted good. They did provide an option for more steak at $5, but we didn't need it. The Frites are unlimited, though they only came around once. The dessert was a skillet cookie as well as a raspberry sorbet. The Sorbet wasn't too sweet. We really enjoyed the skillet cookie, though it was on the sweeter side. Overall, a wonderful experience for a date night, celebration, or business dinner.

Great meal! This is the second time we've eaten at Bricco in the last 3 years and it did not disappoint. We took our friends who were traveling with us. We had a 6:16pm reservation for a Saturday night in September and the place was super busy. We checked in and got seated right away - upstairs. I knew my wife wouldn't be happy with having climb the stairs but what was nice up there was that it was much less noisier than the main level. Alex was our server and she was fun and great. We started with drinks and the included bread. Two of us had wine and two of us had Old-fashioneds. They muddle their fruit here. Not my preference but it the drinks ended up being 'okay'. The bread was soft and the spreads offered were tasty. We ordered our dinners as follows: - Beef Short Rib on Mashed Potatoes (I subbed the potatoes as polenta was standard) - Sea Bass on a Potato Cake - 8oz Beef Tenderloin Filet - Salmon - Side: Creamed Parmesan Spinach - Side: Roasted Brussels Sprouts - Side: Gnocchi with Lobster My Beef Short Rib was amazingly tender and tasty. My wife's Sea Bass was probably the best her or I have ever had. The preparation was unusual and amazing. My friend's Beef Filet was so tasty and tender - likely Prime grade. I did try my friend's wife's Salmon but she enjoyed it. We were too full to try any of Bricco's dessert but had I had room, I was considering their Bread Pudding. In our experience, reservations are a must for dinner at Bricco. If you're going all out, each ordering their own meal and some sides, it's going to be $$$. Knowing that going it - it was an amazing meal.

Great late night spot for drinks...The staff was super friendly, and the dress was casual...we also ordered food it was okay nothing to write home about order a cheese pizza looks way better then it tasted...but drinks were on point and the bartender was super cool chick that lived in Chicago that made up for the pizza lol...Will definitely go back for some late night drinks again when we are in Boston next time. 100% recommend!

After a long weekend of driving, hockey tournaments, kids, fast food dinners, traffic and shopping, it was time for my husband and I to have a dinner that was delicious, comforting and provided with respectful and thoughtful service. Bricco brought it all and it was exactly what I wanted and needed. Yes it was loud in the restaurant. Yes it was bustling. Yes, it's tight with other humans. But isn't that the energetic authentic vibe you've been missing when you just want to be served and well fed and for only for one night and not have a care in a chaotic world? Love this place.

Traditional Italian cuisine with excellent food and super friendly staff in a beautiful scenery. Every little detail made the stay most enjoyable - entering the restaurant with classic dark furniture, small stairs to reach a large dining room for our group of 20 people, that inviting Italian busy-ness, enjoying life … and on top of that, tasty wine and delicious food, with our waiter remembering every order, and where it is to be served, at the same time, 20 times. Thanks for the amazing experience!

For the past 10 years, we’ve celebrated our anniversary at Bricco’s, and today was extra special as we marked our 24th. The food was, as always, amazing and the service outstanding (thank you, Manuel!). We never skip the bread pudding—it somehow gets better every year. Highly recommend Bricco’s, as well as their sister restaurants: Umbria and Quattro (home to fantastic pizza).

My recent dining experience at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen was overall very good, highlighted by delicious food and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made for a pleasant evening. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance stood out — cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and a lively yet relaxed vibe that perfectly suits a special night out or a casual dinner with family. The food was the real star of the evening. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The grilled shrimp was exceptional — perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lobster roll was rich and satisfying, while the grilled chicken was tender and juicy. The bouillabaisse offered a nice mix of seafood flavors, and the warm sourdough bread was a comforting start to the meal. For dessert, the chocolate mousse was decadent, but the skillet cookie truly stole the show — warm, gooey, and packed with chocolate. It was the perfect sweet ending. However, the service left something to be desired. Our waitress was often hard to find, and the pacing of the meal could use improvement — all the dishes arrived at once, rather than being served in the usual appetizer-to-entrée order. A bit more attention and coordination from the staff would have elevated the experience even further. Despite the service hiccups, I would definitely recommend OAK Long Bar + Kitchen for its excellent food and inviting atmosphere. With a little improvement in service, it could easily become one of the best dining experiences in the city.

I could smell amazingly delicious food walking by and decided to drop in. Sat at the bar which is a very comfortable seat and VERY close proximity to others when busy (but still nice). Grey goose martini was perfect. Smoked bluefish pate was amazing. Beef tartare was oddly mayonnaise forward to my pallete.

We stopped by the restaurant and were seriously impressed. The burger was absolutely amazing juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fries were just as good crispy and seasoned just right. We also tried the cookie skillet for dessert and it was delicious: warm, gooey, and the perfect sweet ending. The bread they brought out was fresh and fluffy, and paired perfectly with the honey butter, honestly, we could have eaten a whole basket of it alone. Service was top-notch from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Whether you're staying at the hotel or just in the area, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

We had a wonderful dining experience! Our server, Xavier (or Hervé), was very helpful, charming, and a pleasure to chat with. The seafood bouillabaisse was outstanding and paired wonderfully with an Italian Pinot Grigio. The ambiance perfectly captures the essence of the Fairmont brand, blending deep historical roots with old-world luxury and a touch of modern flair. Definitely a memorable meal!

The Oak Long Bar & Kitchen is located in the Copley Plaza Hotel and it is very , very nice. My girlfriend and I had stopped in for a wine tasting and then had an espresso martini and it was delicious. The truffle fries were amazing.

We had a weekend stay at The Copley. Amazing hotel and service. Friday night drinks were fantastic! Great mixologist and exceptional service. Breakfast was good, service average. Saturday night dinner fell short of our expectations. Our server missed our appetizer all together and there was no attempt other than a simple apology to make it right for us. Service was below average. There is an opportunity for a more elevated and personalized experience.

To be honest, we were quite disappointed with the service we received when dining at Oak Long Bar & Kitchen. We were seated at one of the reserved tables for a 9pm reservation (I’ve been to the bar many times but this was my first time at a table). Over the course of an hour, our server came to our table every 5 or so minutes. She pushed us to order more food and also pushed us to close our tab at 9:30, saying that she “clocked out at 10” (the implication was that she wanted to make sure she got her tip). For a 9pm reservation, it felt completely ridiculous to be pushed through our meal from the moment she came to our table. We spoke to management regarding the situation and they took 2 drinks off our total bill (we were a group of 5) but truly left with a bad taste in our mouths. I was beyond excited to finally sit down and have the “full experience” here but I’m not sure I’ll ever return after this.

Decently good pizza pie reasonably close to the airport. Pros: pepperonis under the cheese, good sauce, quality anchovies (if that’s your thing). Woman behind the counter was extremely rude and impatient, but I wouldn’t let that bother you. I don’t think it is worth all the hype the thousands of reviews have left, but it’s a good spot. Would not go out of my to go here but if I was near by I’d go again

This pizza and BBQ restaurant and bar was Recommended by locals, I also recommend eating here. It's close to the Boston airport. The broccoli chicken garlic pizza is delicious. The menu is small. The staff is friendly with some Boston flavor mixed in. There is a bar with beers and mixed drinks.

The pizza was wonderful! I would recommend getting the Works. Crust has a good chew with crispy edges and a perfect char. The steak tips were good, but slightly under seasoned.

As a born-and-raised Southerner, I thought I knew good pizza until my husband took me to Santarpio’s in Boston. He’s been talking about this place for years, and now I completely understand why. The crust has that perfect char and the sauce is incredible. The lamb is amazing! This was my third visit, and it’s officially become a must-stop every time we’re in town. It’s old-school, no-frills, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of pizza that ruins you for anywhere else. We may live far away, but this place has my heart (and my appetite)!

The space is small and if you’re sitting on the bar at a booth near the door you’re going to be cold the time if it’s cold out. The set up of the restaurant sucks. The waitstaff and bartender were nice and attentive. We sat at the bar because there were no open tables. We only ordered a pizza. The pizza itself was good. Nice chew to the crust, and a good char. It was enjoyable. Toppings are placed under the cheese which I don’t prefer, but I’m from the Midwest. I also wish the crust was seasons or buttered in some way. I got a side of sauce and I enjoyed the pizza sauce they use. It’s not homemade though. You can tell

Old school French restraunt with some Italian fusion. While the food is very traditional and isn't going to surprise you with some bold new flavors, the food is very well executed and delicious. Service is a bit old school as well, but to the point of being stuffy. The vibe is taking a time machine back to fine dining in the year 2000 where patrons still wore suits and ties to dinner. I for one appreciate this. I did the seasonal tasing menu which was delicious. While it does nothing new or cutting edge each dish is expertly crafted with simple ingredients. Classic fine dining. Service was very prompt and while a little stiff, once you start engaging in conversion they will open up a bit and are actually really nice folk. I look forward to coming here again and recommend this for a classic fine dining experience especially if you are under 30 and missed out on this style when you were growing up

My husband and I visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we had an amazing experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful. Our server was incredibly friendly, answered all our questions, and offered great recommendations from the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Steak Tartare, Maplebrook Burrata, and Prune-Stuffed Gnocchi. For dessert, we had the Dark Chocolate Soufflé and Affogato. They also surprised us with complimentary brownies for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you visit, I highly recommend trying the Prune-Stuffed Gnocchi and Dark Chocolate Soufflé—both were exceptional!

I was fortunate enough to have had the birthday dinner of a life time here. The food was outstanding, every single plate was wonderfully executed. The gnocchi stuffed with prunes was out of this world. But what really stood out was the care that every single employee took in making sure we had an amazing experience. Our waiter John George was so incredibly knowledgeable about wine, and you could tell he had a genuine passion when describing each pairing. And the GM Bertilda has created a well oiled machine that stands out miles above the rest. I cannot recommend this dining establishment enough. They created an evening I’ll never forget.

I experienced the chef’s tasting menu with a friend on Friday night and it was by far the best restaurant experience I have ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious. If Boston had Michelin stars, No.9 Park would absolutely be Michelin star worthy. We had oysters, salmon, prawn with black pasta (my favorite), wagyu, and more, plus wonderful wine pairings. All the staff & servers were awesome as well - Rebecca the manager checked in with us frequently. Excuse my poor photography but I remembered to capture a couple dishes. HIGHLY recommend!!!

We did the Chef’s Tasting menu. This was my first experience like this (multi course, fancy fancy, etc). When I walked in, it was so dimly lit it hurt my eyes. We asked for light, and they brought us our own personal lamp. I didn’t like raw fish, so they changed out one of the courses for the freshest, juices fried tomatoes I’ve ever experienced. They were eager to find ways to make the experience as great as it could be. They even set aside my leftovers so I could take them home (strangest, most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had). They even gave us another desert after our desert! It was insanely filling (with at least a meal leftover for me), and such fresh, quality ingredients. I would totally recommend doing this at least once!

We had the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding - Brad was a delight and recommended multiple favorite/custom drinks when we wanted shots (“Where do you work?” was our favorite!). We had such a fun time and the ambiance, food, overall service and vibes were 10/10. The servers were so attentive and even explained each dish to us. The peach dessert plus some coffee was a great way to wrap up the evening. Definitely a high-end dining experience from start to finish. Big thank you again to Brad!

We attended one of their special events, The Gingerbread House making event.it was so much fun!! they already made the gingerbread house so all we needed to do was decorate. It was so well organized , beautifully decorated for the Christmas Season and the staff were just wonderful! The cost was $120.00 per person that included the gingerbread house, appetizer and an entree. There was a great selection to choose from. They also had a festive drink menus as well! The restaurant is located in the heart of Boston in the Beacon Hill district, the old brick row houses and cobblestone walkways absolutely stunning! I recommend making reservations, the restaurant is small, but cozy and welcoming! no, there was absolutely no parking. It is located in a residential area so there is absolutely no parking. I highly recommend attending. It was a great time. You’re there for about an hour and a half before the next group of people come in, but it was just a nice festive time. !!

We stopped in for brunch and were happy with our meal. Service was prompt and professional while the food tasted great. My spouse got the Weekend Breakfast, which was about average for a regular breakfast plate. I got the Steak & Avocado Bowl which was more like a steak salad but absolutely delicious. All the flavors came together quite well, and I actually enjoyed a salad for once.

I had a girls’ night at 75 Chestnut, and we were greeted and seated right away. My dirty martini was excellent, and my friend loved her Summer in the City cocktail. The Summer Quinoa Bowl was fresh and flavorful, and the Caesar salad was great too. The Caprese Pasta was a bit underwhelming—it wasn’t served warm, and we felt we could have made it better ourselves. But the Nantucket Seafood Stew? Absolutely finger-licking good! And to top it off, dessert was really good—sweet, satisfying, and the perfect end to the night.

We found this restaurant after walking up and down the main street and everything was packed with long lines, they had room took us in with our dog and even put a bowl down with water for him. The hostess and waitress were absolutely adorable and even had us try the chocolate chip cookie on the house because they heard us saying we wanted to go try the Boston cream pie but they didn’t offer it. Amazing service and great food! Thank you!

Skip Cheers and just come here, it was fantastic! The ambience was great, very cozy and beautiful. The service was stellar, except their refill game could of been better but other than that great. The food was delicious, everyone I was with had no complaints, I had the fish and chips and it was well cooked and tasted great, the fries are also good, and we also had multiple burgers and each of them said they were awesome too. If you’re looking for a place to eat check it out, it’s a bit pricey but so is everywhere around here.

Had an absolutely wonderful first time here experience yesterday. My partner and I went for brunch. The atmosphere is lovely inside. Reminiscent of old school Beacon Hill charm mixed with modern elegance, and the Jazz music playing during brunch was a wonderful added bonus. We sat at a high top near the bar and were promptly greeted by Ailiana (and I'm hope I'm at least close in spelling that right). Ailiana made us a Rum tiki drink and a Spicy Bloody Mary. The drinks were delicious, she made them perfectly! To eat, we had Raspberry Preserve and Mascarpone stuffed French Toast and Chicken and Waffles. Everything was truly delicious and fresh. A wonderful first experience, we will DEFINITELY be back! If you're in the area, go here, and ask for Ailiana and you won't be disappointed.

Visited Wonderful Palace in Boston on a Wednesday—there was a special offer, so it was quite crowded, but I didn’t mind eating outside. I was happy to grab a seat as a solo diner. The staff were amazing, attentive, and took great care of me. The food was incredible, the wine perfect, and the chestnut street is magic ✨. Highly recommended! 🍷🍴

Always wanted to come here to sit near the massive open windows and people watch. Glad I finally did it. The environment is electric. Food was standard American but well seasoned. Lamb burger and calamari were fantastic. Slight ding for the service. The waiter mixed up my order with another table. Fortunately, the mistake was corrected with no fuss.

Had a great time at Tip Tap! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a night out with friends. The beer selection was impressive, with a nice mix of local brews and unique options you don’t find everywhere. We ordered a few small plates to share—everything was tasty, especially the sliders and truffle fries. Service was solid overall, though it did take a little while to get our drinks at first. That said, our server was friendly and checked in often once things picked up. The vibe is definitely more on the energetic side, so maybe not the best for a quiet dinner, but ideal if you’re looking for a fun evening. Would definitely come back!

Best place in Boston to try beers from local breweries! They have an amazing selection of IPAs, from classic West Coast styles to hazy New England favorites. Perfect spot for anyone who loves exploring the local craft beer scene!

Just had an excellent dinner here with B-Side (their supper club)! The tortellini was fantastic and I loved the bolognese. I enjoyed their cannolis as well, which had a hint of lemon but wasn’t over the top. It may have been a special menu, so the items we had might not be regularly offered, but I would definitely go back. The chef was super friendly and we all had a really great time!

The cocktail list is amazing. All ingredients are seasonal and made in-house. This place has a great vibe. They open the garage door windows, and it makes the place breezy. It is definitely worth the stop.

Located inside the prudential mall. It a huge place. We went in wit out reservation and got seated at the bar. The garden burger and pasta were delicious. The fries that came with the burger was top notch. Corn chips and avocado dip for starters stood out. It was beautifully presented as well. Cocktails were amazing. My favorite is passion fruit chilli Margarita. The place is huge with lots of seating areas. Perfect for large / small groups or a date night. Will definitely visit again!!

We tried our luck without a reservations and were seated right away, which was a great start. Sarah, the manager, was incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming, she really set the tone for a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. This is one of my favorite spots because they always offer great vegan options, and every guest I've brought here has loved their meal, too. The drinks are always top notch! I visit as often as I can and absolutely love it every single time.

Trendy place. Very nice atmosphere, great weight staff. We had Chilean Seabass, and it was the best prep of that fish that I've ever tasted. It was really really good. Our waitress pub Pav was great. Excellent meal, would definitely come back next time we're in Boston.

I had an amazing experience at Earl’s! From start to finish, everything was spot-on. Julia was an outstanding server who was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made great recommendations that elevated our meal. Siena, the manager, also went out of her way to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Between the delicious food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service from Julia and Siena, this visit was easily a 5-star experience. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! Our friend from India had a great time!

My server Chindara was great! She recommended great choices, was friendly and prompt on attending to my every need. The food was yummy and my cocktail was perfect. Allie (manager), was also friendly and checked on me often. The patio is an experience to check out for sure. All the things! ❤️❤️❤️

Juan was amazing!! It was my first time here! I came for my birthday and they pulled out all of the stops to make the night so special!!! He brought out their AMAZING crème brûlée cheesecake! It was magical ✨and a card signed by all of the staff how KIND!

Outstanding service from Merima — she was friendly, attentive, and had such a great attitude! 🙌👏👏 We need more servers like her. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing — it arrived cold and a bit undercooked. Hoping the kitchen can step up to match the level of service. Drinks were also a 10/10

This restaurant provides a cozy place to enjoy some good food at a reasonable price. Having quite an appetite, we ordered 3 appetizers including a taco special followed by an entree each. Surprisingly the appetizers and tacos were unimpressive while the entrees amazed. I highly recommend the steak tips which were flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Cool place, nice location. Minute or two walking from the Quincy Market area so it's close but not crowded. Service was good. Food was pretty good. I had cajun salmon and felt it was a little bit lacking in flavor. Not a big deal though. And my wife loved her shepard's pie. Would definitely go again if I'm in the area.

This is truly a hidden jem in downtown Boston. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You should stop by for the food and easy conversation with the staff and other patrons. If you are looking for a cool underground spot this is it.

Spot on clam chowder! The nachos were very good too. Highly recommend the mac and cheese - very generous portion. The boirbon smash drink is was perfect. Great staff too.

Big fan of this spot. It’s down from street level so darker inside and retro vibe. They have a great Mac and cheese with simple dressed salad.

This place had awesome food not a big selection but all good choices on the menu. Small but nicely decorated underground spot. Would highly recommend it.

Stayed at the Publik House on a Saturday evening in June 2025, on our way to the Cape for vacation. We were impressed with the historic setting, immediate nostalgia we felt while walking the grounds, the staff were exceptional, kind and pleasant... and the food ... well hands down it was the best meal we have had in a long time! Tender 1/2 chicken roasted slow, savory meatloaf, with the best lemon chiffon cake for dessert! And don't forget their sweet rolls with Pecans on top! Wonderful, wonderful stay, all around!

This place is AWESOME!!! The bartenders and GM are VERY knowledgeable in beers/cocktails. The bar food was most excellent. I cleaned my plate. Great place to have conversations and meet new bar friends!!!

Great selection of Belgian beers. And great food, too! Definitely recommend the Pretzels and Beer Cheese Flight for an appetizer. And the homemade beer Bratwurst was terrific.

Mike took great care of my Celiac daughter. He was knowledgeable, friendly and kind. She really enjoyed her meal. Thank you for having great gluten free and celiac safe options!

June 2025 review: Public House has been DOGEd This wonderful staple restaurant has had someone cut costs to the point where the food that we typically get is just bad/ inedible. DOGE: they no longer offer 1/2 size mussels. The price is 30-40% higher than last year. The amount of mussels is cut in 1/2 at least. The "POT" is no longer a pot - it's a small bowl. The bowl to put the empty mussel shells is gone - DOGEd. We used to fight over the sauce - but it's been DOGEd - no fat, no butter, no flavor EXCEPT bitter rosemary. We didn't finish it. The wonderful slices of side bread are 1/4 as thick -DOGEd! The fries basket is now a little cup with tiny nubs of fries that you have to delicately pick out - DOGEd. The fish and chips was also DOGEd - 1/2 the size of fish and at least 30% more expensive. The breading recipe changed-less flavor/less goodness. The extra tartar sauce found itself as an extra $1.00 - DOGEd. Attached to this review is last year's mussel pot and this year's. DOGEd in full display. Service is still great - however Public House used to be full most of the time - it was 1/3 empty on a Friday night. We all sense the DOGEness. We won't come back - maybe next summer - Public House will have found its sanity again. 2 years ago Review: 5 star all around I love public house. Great burgers and awesome mussels in amazing broth. PLUS amazing selection of beers. I love how covid safe they are being- we ate outside under a heat lamp. Thank you for being an institution for this neighborhood.

Not sure what’s gone wrong, but used to be much better. I used to love the muscles; they’re a classic. Tonight, flavorless and awkwardly served on a tray with no bowl for shells. Fries were greasy and limp instead of crisp and flavorful. Wife ordered a veggie patty that she couldn’t cut through with a fork and knife. Won’t be going back any time soon.

We had probably our best brunch ever (no kidding) at jm Curley. We found another restaurant nearby by doing a Google search for “brunch,” but the line was crazy so we found jmC just half a block away. It didn’t show up on the brunch search and that’s a shame. The fried pickles as an appetizer were amazing - light tempura-style batter that didn’t overwhelm the slightly sweet thinly-sliced pickles and the sauce complemented it well. The chicken and waffle bowl was AMAZING - great, unique take on this brunch classic. Such a great combination of flavors! The tuna poke was delicately flavored and perfectly prepared, though it didn’t need as many wontons. Service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were excellent for the high quality food we received. Highly recommended!

Drinks were great, seated right away and server checked in a few times. My issue was the food, actually gross lol we got the nachos which was the fake cheese, I’m not a fan but I could live if it wasn’t COLD and lumped on. Even my friend who will practically eat anything thought it was gross. Otherwise nice place, maybe try the pizza or something

My family and I had a very pleasant dinner at JM Curley. The atmosphere was great and we were able to watched a Boston Celtics match. Dinner was good: chicken wings and Nashville hot fried chicken sando were amazing (very crispy and tasty), while we did not fully enjoy the mac n cheese (with pulled pork). It was too salty, too heavy cream, and we could not finish it. Probably, less and more diluted sauce would have been better. We also ordered a beer each, and skillet chocolate chip cookie as dessert. Total of 123 $ (pre-tax and pre-tips).

You can’t any get better than this place. THE BEST BURGER IN BOSTON BY FAR. The heaven hill burger is something else. Good beer, good vibe. Sit at the bar, enjoy your beer/food and have some chat. This is Boston in just one bar.

We came in for dinner and while we weren’t fans of the wings, the on-duty manager (Dan?) immediately noticed, asked if we didn’t like them, and without hesitation took them off the check. His attentiveness and professionalism really stood out, such great customer service. The hamburgers are absolutely outstanding! Even though the wings weren’t our favorite, the service and quality of the burgers made the experience worthwhile. We’ll definitely be back for the burgers and the great hospitality. Ask for Dan next time you go!

I’m not sure how I’ve never come across this place before but I’m glad I did! I was in search of a good burger - this place came up and did not disappoint! The atmosphere is great, service was fast and really friendly! I got beer but the cocktails looked SO good, I definitely want to go back to try one. I got the Curley Burger and it was so good! The fries were also delicious and they gave a good amount! My server was great, very friendly and welcoming. My only small complaint is I didn’t get sauce on the burger and asked for a side of BBQ and got charged $1, I know it’s only a $1 but if I’m paying $21 for a burger with no sauce you’d think I could get a side of sauce at no charge. This however does not stop me from giving the place 5 stars or from wanting to return to try a cocktail and one of their other dishes!

Great location. Fantastic ambiance with that rustic brick look. I ordered the grilled brussel sprouts which was amazing with the perfect peanut crunch. I also got the curly burger with regular fries Whole the burger could use more salt and spices, it was good with the crunchy pickles and sesame bun. Service was great and attentive. Will come again.

Super food, super friendly staff, super atmosphere outside in the summer for breakfast. So much good stuff to say. Got the 3 scrambled eggs, with taters and linguica. Delicious. We also had the French toast which was the best we had ever had. Bread seemed so fresh and melted in your mouth. Also had the stuffed strawberry French toast which was awesome. But I like the plain French toast with maple syrup the best just because of the pure flavor. But it was all good. Had cinnamon cream of wheat, fruit cup, sausage links and patty and all was good. Links had a very good flavor to them. They also brought out a basket of buttered toast on fresh bread and a sweet cake like bread. It was so delicious. Everyone was friendly and helpful and loved explaining the Portuguese parts of the breakfast. Highly recommend this place for breakfast. Wish we here longer to go back and try the Azores breakfast.

It's been over 13 years since my last review of Neighborhood Café. I have to say it was a pleasure to see some familiar faces because I haven't been there in at least 5 or so years. Trust me, it wasn't because of the food and service; it was an old friend I no longer associate with--this was their favorite place, and now that they moved away, it's mine again. Jalayne, one of the twins who's been there for at least a decade, was our server and she remembered me, so that was wonderful. Service was still great and even though Yum is next door, I feel you cannot beat the service and food of this mom-and-pop restaurant. I ordered the build-your-own omelette and my wife had the Cajun breakfast. I love the fresh-squeezed orange juice and the environment. The food came out in a reasonable time and it was just as great as I remembered it. Thank you, Jalayne, for making our visit so wonderful.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the city. The grapevine covered courtyard is really lovely in the summer, it’s very pleasant to sit outside in the shade with gentle breeze. Comfortable seating, pleasant and relaxing music. Very good service, fresh and tasty food in generous portions, very reasonable prices. Very good experience overall :-)

Came here for breakfast with my work colleagues and initially was not hopeful to find hearty vegan options given the Portuguese cuisine. At first, I didn’t see anything on the regular menu, but luckily I asked our server and they referred me to the Vegan Breakfast Special they had! It was so delightful I was shocked- super filling, protein-rich, creative, balanced, and tasty meal of beans and rice, fried plantain, spinach, broccoli, mushroom, tomato, and tofu medley, plus home fries, and a fruit cup to start off with! I was so glad to see a dedicated vegan option clearly labeled. I hope this can become a permanent menu item. Thank you, Neighborhood Restaurant for your accommodation!

Get the cream of wheat, thank me later. The seafood soup (chowder?) was A-Mazing! It wasn’t even on the menu but ask for it. Perfect for a rainy New England day!

What an absolutely amazing place! Staff super friendly, the outdoor dining was fantastic, and the food on point!!!! Drove up from jersey for the Wallen concert and made a pit stop there for breakfast, it did not disappoint! Definitely going back…

Vibes + affordability hit a perfect peak here. It’s as welcoming and homey as you want it to be. Simple but tasty food. Menu is large, but isn’t the most diverse (mostly consists of a variety of omelettes and pancakes). They make up for it with various specials and build your own options. They know what they are going for and they do it well.

This was my fifth time coming here. It'd been excellent so far, but of course the first time my wife comes with me it ends up being absolutely horrible. Our server walked past us repeatedly, while we literally called and waved for her attention, to serve the tables on either side of our booth. When I finally got another servers attention to ask for our server to take our order, we were met with "Well are you ready to order now?" Absolutely polar service compared to the other tables around us, who all happened to look like me and not my wife or friend... The sizzling steak was requested as MR, came out medium and of course finished well done on the iron. Prime rib was the worst one I've ever had here. Tons of gristle attached to a giant bone with a bit of meat for us to each share. Onion ring loaf was a mound of rings, not the usual loaf. Loaded baked potatoes were unevenly dressed and weakly so. "Sautéed" mushrooms and onions were pretty much raw. Overall, I was super excited to bring my wife here. I've come multiple times with my friends and my wife just doesn't feel welcome or that it was worth $200 for what we ate and the lack of hospitality.

I was visiting town and a friend suggested we try this steakhouse, which bills itself as Boston's oldest. It sure lives up to that! Looking at the furniture and decor I felt like I was transported back to the 70's. At the entrance they have signed pictures of "famous " celebrities who've visited. I noticed the picture of Ed Asnor first, the dead has been actor. The vibe is definitely an older crowd. At first, I thought I was going to get a bingo card with the menu. To be fair, after being seated we noticed some younger couples. My friend ordered the New York strip and said it was fatty. My steak tips were average, which isn't good considering it's a steakhouse. On the positive side, our server was very friendly. It definitely seems like a place where everybody knows your name. I would consider coming back to the bar, playing Keno, and swapping stories with some of the regulars.

I loved the vibe to this place It was or our first time there but I had heard very good things about the place We found it very modern with a touch of old school class you only get a true steakhouse you can feel the history around you but its a cool vibe you can only get from a well established Restaurant Adding to the experience was the staff Our server was an experienced server who knew the menu the drinks we had ..Manhattan was perfect beer on tap cold... The filet was cooked perfect and the BBQ Steak Tips were cooked to order and excellent (hard to do with tips because of different size) The sides were generous and just like mom used to make I highly recommend the mashed potatoes My wife is a baked potato person and loved it We didn't have dessert mainly because we were too full but the dessert menu was outstanding I highly recommend this place whether you are meeting friends to catch a game at the bar a special occasion or anything in between this place will not disappoint

People not from New England notice of coldness from the locals. I have gone to this place twice and I have definitely felt that I am not a regular in this part of town. I think if I came here enough times they would recognize me and be happy to see me. I do not want to spend that much time and money out of place that doesn't feel that welcoming to begin with. His steak is okay. The service is bland. And the host pretty prissy I gave this place a second chance to make sure I wasn't biased. Only to feel more biased. Edit: I want to leave on a positive note. For a steak place they make excellent potatoes.

Me and my wife went here for our wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The food and service was amazing. We will be back.

Its ok. I might have to try it again to give a fair review. It was kind of expensive for the quality. The steak was big but couldve been cooked better. There did seem to be "early bird" specials monday to thursday, but I went on a friday.. What I liked best is the older style of the restaurant interior/furniture etc. and the parking lot is a plus.

Top-notch service. The staff, all in cream suit and tie, were incredibly attentive, checking in regularly and packing up our leftovers with care. Very professional and friendly throughout. We ordered the ribeye and the NY filet. While we’ve had better steaks elsewhere, my husband (who’s very particular about his steak) was happy with his meal and said he could definitely see bringing his parents here for a nice dinner. The restaurant is quite spacious, but unless you’re in a large group, you probably won’t be seated right by the window or get much of a water view. Still, it was a solid experience overall.

My boyfriend and I went to Mastro’s Steakhouse for a date night, and we were excited to try it. The dinner and appetizers were good, and the wine we had was enjoyable as well. The staff was very friendly and upbeat, which added to the overall atmosphere. We weren’t looking for complete silence, just enough volume to enjoy the ambience and actually be able to chat. Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud to comfortably have a conversation. Overall, it was a good meal with great energy, but the noise level made chatting a little challenging.

Oh my goodness! This place is the dream! I highly recommend it! The service, food and atmosphere were all top tier!!! We will be coming back regularly!!! My husband and I love the managers so much! They’re personable and caring! They make every customer feel seen and known. It is a great spot for that special occasion like a birthday, anniversary or just a fancy night out!!!

The best Restaurant I've ever been around that area. Me and my wife went to the place, which is cozy and quiet, you could definitely expect a high end experience, because they will provide that to you for sure. All started with the host, and then the service provided by the waiter and the whole team, looked like they were happy to serve us, and provide the best they could, and food? Unreal, and absolutely amazing and tasteful! Don't hesitate to visit Mastro's Ocean Club! it's a MUST! Congrats on your place, team, food, and service !
