Sweetgreen is a popular chain with multiple locations in Boston, offering organic salads and bowls that cater to both vegetarians and omnivores. The Harvard Square spot, established in 2016, provides a fast and casual dining experience with house-made options as well as customizable choices. The menu varies according to seasonal ingredients, ensuring freshness. Customers can order ahead for pickup to avoid waiting in line.
Sweetgreen is one of my top places for a great salad. I always get the Kale Caesar, and it never disappoints. The service is fast, and the staff is consistently friendly. Definitely recommend for a quick, healthy meal.

I’ve previously been to the seaport location, so I thought to give this place a try as well. Tight seating, but the interior was clean. Ordered the Ranchy chicken+rice kids meal since I wasn’t feeling too hungry. Unfortunately the rice was inedible because it was almost raw. Tiny pebbles in my mouth. Either a bad batch or inexperienced staff. The chicken was also a tad dry, but my girlfriend’s green goddess salad wasn’t too bad.
M L — Google review
Kale Caesar salad from this place is my favorite health food at around 450 calories. The staffs are very polite and friendly and there’s not much wait time. The only caveat is the store does not have a water machine. Addition of water to the store would be really great. I love sitting on the chair outside the store and do people watching at Copley Sq. The store is conveniently located right off Copley Square green line MBTA. The prices are reasonable. The portions are filling. Update: today I tried guacamole 🥑 greens with green goddess dressing and I really liked it. Highly recommend it.

Sweetgreen is always reliable for a fast and healthy lunch. They have bowls and salads to choose from, but you can also build your own. Ton of options for vegans and vegetarians. Outdoor and indoor seating. Space is a little tight and it was very busy during lunch time, but the staff were very fast and friendly.
Samantha D — Google review
The workers the had the name “Brianna” tattooed on her arm is EXTREMELY rude. Just doing her job seemed to be a hassle for her. The entire time she was taking my order it seemed like I was bothering her to ask her to do her damn job. And the cashier Juan wasn’t any better because he enables the behavior she puts out on customers. I shouldn’t feel rushed to order my food.
Daisha E — Google review
I used to go to this place but unfortunately I hadn’t written a review. It was a five star place 6 years ago and I really liked the food, service and atmosphere there. I was very disappointed when I went there on May 16. The place smelled really bad and things had changed a lot. I looked for the menu up above the wall but it wasn’t the one I used to see 6 years ago. Even people serving food seemed very different than they used to be in manners. I just didn’t eat and left the place!
Eftelya D — Google review
The salads are really good, the service is pretty fast and the price is average. They have some prebuilt salads, that you can order and just forget about it. There's an option to build your custom salad, where you can choose the base, the toppings and ingredients. There are usually long lines in peak hours, but they move quite fast. Also they have some seatings indoor and outside.

I really like Sweetgreens in Kendal Square location. But Sweetgreens in Copley is not at all good..Staff was very rude. I spotted flies in my salad. Very bad experience.

Cafe
Flour Bakery + Cafe is a local chain of bake shops known for its French treats like croissants and sticky buns. Founded by Harvard graduate Joanne Chang, the bakery has become a staple in Cambridge and Boston. While not entirely gluten-free, they offer homemade gluten-free bread for sandwiches and breakfast options. The menu includes signature items like Sticky Buns, Mile High pies, super-moist banana bread, sandwiches, seasonal poptarts, cookies, pies, cakes and more.
Update (Early July 2025): Cake back a week later and absolutely loved the Avacado Toast. Coffee was as smooth as always. Coffee Cake was okay. Biscuit with Jam and the Vanilla Donut was awesome! Late June 2025: Came here because we were gifted an excellent cake from the few weeks ago. One of the best (bacon) Quichie I have had ever. ($8) Coconut Cream Pie ($6.50) was good as well. Very smooth but bit sweet Iced Latte. (Added Hazelnut Syrup) The location was very busy on the Saturday Morning. I'll come back for sure!
Chanaka H — Google review
Ordered a vegan hot chocolate and an almond macaroon (vegan & gluten free). The macaroon was delicious!! Perfect size and just enough sweetness. The vegan hot chocolate wasn't as sweet but I thoroughly enjoyed it as I walked around Public Garden in the light rain. Really nice workers and great atmosphere! 💞

Had the chicken artichoke pizza and it pleasantly surprised me! The crust was fluffy and the toppings had a lot of flavor. It was a good size too considering we are in back bay. The outdoor seating was great in the nice weather too. Unlike other places there are also a good number of servers.

I have been to flour bakery on multiple occasions and it never disappoints. I tried their coffee, tuna melt sandwich, applewood smoked bacon sandwich and added chicken to it, sticky bun and lemon meringue pie and would recommend them all. My favorite sandwich is the applewood smoked bacon.

I wanted to have breakfast and chose this place. Atmosphere and location amazing, you can seat outside and eat. I ordered cappuccino big size, they did delicious coffee and cup was full, I’m grateful. Also I ordered avocado toast and added salmon. Sandwich was good and big. Salmon I didn’t really liked it because it was cold and salty. I didn’t know that and didn’t ask. I thought it will be on sandwich or slices. Price is 9 dollars for additional salmon. Total 35. Expensive, but when you want to it.

friendly and patient and accommodating staff!! great selection of pastries and food available!! Boston crème pie was perfection, each layer was delicious and a delight!

1 star for Flúor Bakery + Café. Terrible experience. I ordered an egg sandwich and a meat one — both were awful, I had to throw them out completely. I get that taste is subjective, but this was unacceptable: cold, flavorless, and not fresh at all. Service was poor, staff seemed uninterested and unmotivated. On top of that, the kitchen area and product display counter were dirty. They really need to fix or invest in those details. I don’t recommend this place at all.
Cristian S — Google review
This place offers high quality coffee and food! We had a delicious egg sandwich. French toast had an unique flavor. We also tried cheese cake and chocolate chips. Everything fresh and made with care, high recommended! The place can get busy over the weekend.

Sofra Bakery & Cafe is a cozy bakery known for its Middle Eastern sweets and savory bites, offering a small patio for outdoor seating. It's a popular spot in Boston, drawing in locals and visitors alike with its delectable pastries like pistachio rosewater croissants and bittersweet chocolate tahini tarts. The establishment also serves up savory specialties such as shawarma sandwiches and baked feta adorned with rhubarb.
This place was recommended and after receiving a gift card I went with my mother to check this place out. While pricey, if you’re willing to cough up some cash it is well worth the money for the quality you will get from this food. We had ordered the Turkish style breakfast which had a soft boiled egg wrapped in an ingredient I do not know the name of but it added crunch and mild sweetness to it. There were cucumbers, olives, tomato that was mashed and sweet yogurt which was topped with seasonal spoon sweets. You can refer to the image but this was one of my favorite things with the blend of refreshing vegetables that were light and paired with sweet creamy substances. It was filling yet not overbearing. Geno’s egg sandwich was worth the getting my hands messy as the egg was cooked just enough that the yolk broke upon first bite adding extra flavor that brought out the halloumi cheese and tomato concasse. The granola bowl was another favorite being served in Egyptian carrot jam and labne that made it stand out compared to other granola bowls. We had purchased the Turkish coffee which we felt was decent but not as good as Andala coffee houses especially when comparing price and value. The desserts were the date almond ma’amoul and chocolate tahini tart. The tart was smooth, rich and not overly sweet compared to the breakfast Items which was a nice change. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The music was middle eastern and not so loud that you could not have a conversation.

Cute homey feel cafe. Great breakfast & lunch options. Great loving customer service feels like family. My chicken shawarma and pumpkin latte was 100% perfect! Also my group ordered feta whip, cookie, lamb shwarm, Arabic coffee and tea all delicious including my BLACK SEA CORNBREAD. Wow! Breakfast weekdays 8-11am weekends is till 2pm Lunch 11am-close daily

Shakshuka is a must try 🥘🫓! The portion isn't that big but great for one person or to share with another as a small brunch. It comes with a pita that's hot and very soft. Also, very picture worthy 📸
Joyce — Google review
Delicious Turkish menu with extremely fast service. The place though small it has a warmth about it. The siting space is limited but waiting is worth it as food is amazing. The servers are courteous and sweet. No nonsense place with some amazing dishes. U can also pick up thinsg off the shelf. Nice memorable experience.
Shalini S — Google review
What a gem! My husband and I stopped in here to grab a quick lunch on a recommendation. We were blown away by the food, pastries, drinks and little mini market. We ended up buying some treats to bring home. Highly recommended!
Haley T — Google review
Wow the flavors here are so fresh and unique!! When we entered, I was skeptical, but the food was so good and like nothing I've tasted - admittedly I don't eat at meze places super often. The chicken wings (date molasses bbq and lemon herb on top) were SO good, the flatbread and shawarma tasted different from any other place bcus of the filling. The shakshuka came with pesto which was jnteresting. Highly recommended. There's not a lot of seating and it's a free for all so don't come with a group expecting to sit.
Kathy Y — Google review
I love Sofra! I grab lunch to take home all the time and when I can get a seat inside for breakfast I love to sit by the window! Pastries are amazing, the morning bun latte is my go to, and all of their mezze options are fab!

This place is AMAZING!!! We went here for breakfast and it was truly divine. I highly recommend if you are looking for a more unique breakfast in Allston. Beautiful pastry selection but we went for savory breakfast dishes were were just awesome.

Black Seed Halal Grill is a casual dining spot that offers a variety of Middle Eastern dishes such as kabobs, falafel wraps, pancakes, and omelets. The restaurant provides delicious food with good seating options and great service. Customers recommend trying the shawarma chicken and rice plate as well as the chicken kabob and rice plate, which come with flavorful garlic sauce and fluffy rice.
If you love good food, this place is a must! One of the best spots for delicious food! The French fries are seriously the best in the world, and the chicken buffalo wrap was packed with flavor. I highly recommend it!
Moon M — Google review
Good halal options. Grill lamb rice is tasty. The salad portion is great. Fries are delicious . They have limited options for sauces, and the quantity of sauces is small. The double lamb burger was just okay. Platter and kebab are good options to eat, it comes with pita bread and the quantity of fries is great.
M A — Google review
Our flight to Boston was delayed but we were so hungry. We didn’t fly all the way to Boston to eat McDonalds but couldn’t find anything open. This was about 11 pm. We stumbled upon black Seed Halal. It looked a little shady from the outside with lots of people loitering but the food was delish! We got the super shawarma and it did not disappoint. We also got the Cajun fries which were pretty good too. Perfect meal to bring to our hotel and crush before bed.
Amanda A — Google review
I was here on May 9 and 10. It was undoubtedly one of the best food places I've ever visited. I had tuna with rice and cheesecake on the first day, and special shawarma (the one with fries) on second day. The cheesecake was probably the best in my life. The texture is just perfect. Tuna was also cooked to the perfection: soft, not dry and great spices. If I will be in Boston one more time, I would definitely visit that place again.
Mariia K — Google review
Love this spot and food is great. Miss their old location a block away but glad they are still on the common

We ordered chicken kabab plate and kofta kabab plate, No taste, high price…….NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Only fries eatable…..Disappointed Waste of money
Muhammad T — Google review
The food is delicious and highly recommended. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and will make your wrap or bowl exactly how you want it. I ordered the beef burger, which was delicious!!! The fries were crispy, long, and well-seasoned. I love it when fries are done correctly, and these were some excellent fries.
Aziz V — Google review
My fave go to lunch spot!!! They have vegetarian options. I used to love their veggie burger, but it's no longer on the menu 😔 Today I grabbed lunch and opted for the falafel burger (see pic) and Cajun fries (tasty, but need to work on, too much seasoning left over...see pic) Great choice! They moved just a few doors down to 140 Tremont. The staff are still friendly and efficient 🤗

Hi-Rise Bread Company is a cozy, family-owned bakery in Cambridge that offers a delightful array of homemade breads, pastries, and sandwiches. Founded by baker Rene Becker, this sun-lit counter-serve bakery boasts excellent pastries, lunch options, and a full coffee bar. The tarts are made with local fruits and many treats use extra-rich European butter.
A West Cambridge Cafe with an artisanal charm. Took a visit this morning to grab some breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the indulgent smell of a freshly baked bread as they had a dedicated section for baking fresh bread. Alongside a curated selection of wine and whiskey, they also had a corner showcasing an array of house-made preserves and granola, which collectively contributed to its rustic yet refined local marketplace vibe. Since there were a lot of negative reviews regarding their food, we initially didn’t have high expectations for their food. Admittedly, being the first customer of the day, the twenty-minute wait for two simple breakfast sandwiches seemed a tad lengthy. The oat milk latte was also a bit too mild for my taste, yet the pastries and the sandwiches more than made up for it. Both the Hungry Pickle and Luke Rocks the Free World sandwiches boasted perfectly crispy buns that added a satisfying crunch to each bite. Even the simpler Brekkie Supreme sandwich, which didn't appear freshly made, was surprisingly good. From the pastries, we had the Orange Coconut and Maple Pecan Scones, and both were nice treats – moist, buttery, and exquisitely crafted to my preferred taste. My experience at Hi Rise certainly exceeded my initial expectations. If you’re looking for satisfying breakfast sandwiches and pastries, I recommend giving them a try. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait for the sandwiches, but rest assured, these are well worth the patience.
Jea K — Google review
I used to frequent Hi Rise when it was on Mass Ave pre-pandemic. I loved the Thai iced tea and blueberry scone. 5+ years later, I finally made my way over to the Huron village location, and I'll definitely be back soon! The Thai iced tea was just as I remembered -- very aromatic and perfectly sweet. I'd come back just for this unique and delicious drink. Unfortunately they didn't have the blueberry scone (I wasn't expecting it, since it said it was sold out on the website). We tried the small chocolate fallen cake ($10) which I thought was a bit too sweet. We also got the ham, butter, and Swiss lunchie ($8), which is a very thin and long sandwich. It was delicious! The bread has a slight crisp on the outside, and is wonderfully chewy. The filling to bread ratio is pretty great. I'd get this again -- very satisfying. There are also a lot of fruit preserves and packaged cookies that look really good and would make good gifts. I'll be back!
Gloria H — Google review
I’ve been to this local café a few times and really liked it. The prices are a bit high, but I visited because of its location. Recently, I saw mice in the café—not just one, but three. It felt like their playground. I couldn’t enjoy my coffee and felt very uncomfortable. Even in Boston, where mice are common, this was the worst I’ve seen. The staff knows about the problem but isn’t doing anything. I don’t think I’ll visit again for a while. I hope they fix this soon.
Akane — Google review
Hi Rise - more like High Price. This is a sandwich/salad cafe that charges absurdly high prices and offers small portions. $6 to add chicken on a salad and THIS is what you add, two small diced up tenders? Guys - the world’s gotten expensive, and it’s okay to increase prices to some extent. But you can’t also shrink your product at the same time. That’s called greed.
Alejandro — Google review
This is a tough one. I live around the corner and this was the first place I ate at when I moved to Cambridge. I love their food. Is it pricey? Yes, but considering the food costs, labor, rent, etc I think it’s worth it. They have a great liquor and wine selection which is always convenient if I have to grab a bottle. I worked in a bakery for five years. Their quality of bread is great! I love walking into this place on a cold winter morning and getting hit with smell of fresh baked bread. My issue with Hi-Rise is their customer service. Particularly the folks working the cash wrap. I’ve been in over a dozen times, and every time the cashiers aren’t the friendliest. I work in retail and know how hard dealing with customers can be. But every time I greet them with a smile and say hello. It’s rare if it’s reciprocated. Hi-Rise. I love everything you guys make, and will continue to support you all. But please have a productive meeting to discuss customer service etiquette.

The cookies🍪 are great , I happen to get the sugar cookies .They were so good . I also bought the lemon cake 🎂 phenomenal. I had a sample of the “ ginger snaps “ delicious; but they were sold out ! I meet them @ the Copley farmers market . I have added the pictures below . The staff were super informative and helpful .

I highly recommend NOT coming here. Only paper cups? As if the non organic coffee that's heavily sprayed is not bad enough I have to drink it out of a cup lined with polyethylene??? No thanks!!! Asking me TWICE if my dog is a service dog. Harassment is part of your service? Ridiculous!!!

Lovely little bakery in west Cambridge on the way to alewife. Came in for a quick coffee and snack and loved the selection of sandwiches, breads, and the wine/champagne on offer. Seemed very busy for a Tuesday afternoon, which made our time there fun. Hope to come back again soon !

Clover Food Lab is a trendy 24-hour establishment with a modern atmosphere, offering an array of gourmet coffee, breakfast options, and vegetarian dishes. With multiple locations in Boston and Cambridge, it's known for its delectable chickpea fritters, flavorful soups, crispy rosemary fries, and seitan bbq. However, guests should be mindful as some menu items may contain non-vegan ingredients.
Fantastic place. Has a small to medium sit down section indoors. Ketchup wasn’t labeled for takeout but that’s besides the point. Great tasting falafel. Good fixings. Great for meat eaters and veggie eaters.

Give it a 3.5 stars. Ordered chickpeas falafel to go. Has good flavor and the chickpeas was crispy outside and soft inside.

Being lived in Israel I have a good taste bud in Mediterranean food. The service was excellent, the food was quick very clean and artistic dining environment. The hummus was very authentic. A good balance of oil and sour test. The veggies are fresh but the falafel balls were over cooked in my plate. I’m pretty sure that is not the case always. I will visit again. Thank you.

Ordered Uber eats, and was looking forward to eating falafel that was being advertised as "kispy on the outside, soft on the inside". Instead, I recieved falafel that was Krispy from crust to core. Very disappointed because the falafel is my favorite part. The fresh items were fine.

First of all SHOUT OUT Wold and Aviva! They were more conscious of my allergies than I was! Much appreciation and respect. I was super tired and had 1.5 million questions. They patiently, kindly and expertly answered them all. I got the divine African peanut Soup and lentil caviar. 😋

Innovative local vegetarian chain that focuses on sustainability and local sourcing. Recently had the chance to try some of their platters and sandwiches, and most items I got were pretty impressive. I’m normally not a huge fan of vegetarian fast food chains, but they did a great job with getting the flavor combinations right. In house brewed vanilla soda was superb, and the impossible meatballs were the best vegan meatballs I had, and with the tomato sauce, it tasted more authentic than the non-vegetarian ones. The bbq seitan was the only item that wasn’t appetizing. For the price, the portions for each were smaller than I expected, but it was definitely worth a try.

I got a falafel pita for $11.77. The falafel wasn't baked/fried enough to be crunchy, the pita was cold, and there was no taste of tahini. The veggies were good though. Kinda disappointed but the price was alright. I wish they served it in a to-go bowl to help with hummus sneaking out.

I support and have been to clover many times, now finally getting around to a review. This place is great for lunch and a quick dinner option. On this visit, I ordered one of the newer items- Verde bowl with spicy tender pork. I've never had fake pork before and I quite I liked it. The bowl itself was well thought out and balanced, very flavorful with a good mix of textures. I might hesitate to order again tho as it has fried plantains/tostones and fried jalapenos which I could get without, but then it seems to become an even smaller portion than it was. I feels it a bit expensive for what it is, but most things in this area are. Also they care about their where they get their ingredients, so I don't mind paying for that. The sides are great including the hummus, fries etc. I've had several other sandwiches including the meatball sub and falafel. Overall my only issue is they use more oil in their ingredients (eg fried or oily) than my tummy is used to. Tasty though, and would be fine for those with less sensitive stomachs. I will continue to support this trailblazing vegetarian/ vegan establishment who sources locally, and hope to see more thoughtful places like it in the immediate future.

Cocobeet in Boston is a vibrant cafe offering a wide variety of organic, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and vegan salads. Their menu features nutrient-dense and antioxidant-rich meals packed with superfoods. Located near Government Center Station in Downtown Boston, this 100% plant-based spot specializes in smoothie bowls, green juices, salads, and other healthy foods.
Parking sucks- two cute little tables inside or can hang out outside at government center park. People were a little snobby.

5 stars – Nourishment for body and spirit (and joyfully kid-approved) Cocobeet is one of those rare places that feels like a breath of fresh air—clean, calm, and full of vibrant, healthy food that’s actually delicious. From colorful veggie juices to silky açaí bowls, hearty veggie bowls, avocado toast, and waffles that somehow feel both indulgent and wholesome, everything is thoughtfully made. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind—especially with children. My kids were greeted with smiles and devoured their açaí bowl and waffles with pure delight (which, let’s be honest, is its own small miracle). Outside, there’s a sweet little plaza where children can run and play while you enjoy your meal, and leafy park benches across the street perfect for relaxing under the trees. It’s the kind of place where you can pause, reconnect with what feels good, and leave feeling a little more nourished—in every way. Highly recommended for families, solo travelers, and anyone looking for food that lifts you up from the inside out.

Good Acai. Not great. Too much Acai base and not enough fruit and granola. The fruit and the granola are really good (and gluten free), but you’re left with a large portion of melting Acai base and no toppings after just a few bites. Need to add lots more topping options. Also, nowhere inside to really eat. There are mini tables that are as short as the seats themselves.

A nice little healthy place to grab a bite to eat. Drinks are around $10, and bowls are around $16. The food tastes good so I would recommend coming here. On all of their juices in the fridge they point out that it all unpasteurized.

Loved the food here. I ordered a Umami bowl to go and it was packed with flavor. Especially for vegans, we often end up eating the same things because they are the easy vegan things. This place really puts thought into their food. Would absolutely come back if I lived here!

Ordered Chia pudding and quinoa sliders via uber eats. Both dishes are yummy! The dishes were packed nicely to prevent any leakage.

THE WORST. This place is fantastic if you want to pay $15 for a pre-bottled smoothie. If you want to wait, for absolutely no reason, then this is the place for you. Order ahead? Wonderful idea! That way you can pay more money, and still get there on time to wait. The best part is when no one comes to the cash register for 5 minutes when you are the only person there, while a worker, presumably on their break, is sitting at the table next to you scrolling through their phone. But wait, it ONLY gets better. If you PREFER freshly made smoothies, then put that in the special request section of your order. That way, when you show up, AFTER the first 5 minutes, someone will come out to greet you, not be able to find your order, and then after you help them find your correct order, they go out of their way to walk to the cooler to hand you a pre-bottled smoothie. Oh, but wait, when I have come in the past (when I am in the mood to wait 20-25 minutes for no apparent reason) I have been able get a freshly made smoothie (I heard a blender!). So when I proceed to sheepishly goad "Excuse me, can I get a freshly made smoothie?" to the worker.... Wait for it... WAIT for it.....WAIT....... NOW comes the clearly intended EYE-ROLL and begrudging walk back to the counter which was expressly communicated JUST FOR YOU! At that point I decided, you know what? I am just gonna take that pre-bottled $15 smoothie and skidaddle on out of here (because I see the plastic cup in your hand that you already revealed to me that you are just going to go behind the counter and pour my milky moderately chilled smoothie into, for lil ol' me. In other words, what else would I do with a half hour of my time and $15 on a Wednesday?? Right??? Let me be the first to tell you, it was an experience!

They also have a weekly card that you can scratch off each time you visit, I do not know exactly what the reward at the end is cause I haven’t done it but it’s pretty cool for ppl who are in the area and already eat here often. Definitely check them out ! Look for the older short man he’s the owner he’s really cool let him know if there’s anything he can help with. You Definitely need to check this place out if the opportunity presents itself ! You’re welcome in advance !

I stepped in here for a quick pick me up post work and was very pleased with a generous slice of pizza for around 5$. A doughy but not overly thick slice with a nice buttery crust on the bottom in the pan pizza style. I had the bbq chicken and it was perfectly balanced with the juicy chicken and sweet sauce, great value, definitely hit the spot! Typically I’m not eager to eat the crust but this slice there was no hesitation!

I was so impressed with this salad shop. I did the build your own salad and so happy I did. There were so many different topping and protein and dressing options to choose from. I loved the variety of toppings, and I especially liked the option to add seasoning which I never see elsewhere! I got an arugula salad with grilled chicken, scallions, cilantro, feta, carrots, sweet potato, peanuts, za'atar seasoning and Thai cashew dressing. It was incredible.

Beautiful and elegant restaurant, located on a main street by a shopping center with a free parking lot. Pleasant and fancy interiors and restrooms, high quality furniture and comfortable seating. Professional staff, all well dressed and wearing name tags, they were kind, friendly and service oriented. They knew one of us had a big birthday and they helped us celebrate. The food was good, beautifully plated, fresh and tasty, served on heated plates. Plenty of cold water served in clean and polished glasses. Pretty awesome desserts served in decent sized portions. We enjoyed a high quality meal in an elegant restaurant, with dessert and coffee, for under $50 per person (no alcohol or high end entrees). Good experience, recommended !

Loved the food. Such great menu options. I am a vegetarian and usually feel very out of place at American restaurant along with unhealthy options. But this was totally different and prices were great too! Their mushroom soup and golden beet salad was amazing. I would love to come here again and if you haven't tried, you must. You won't be disappointed with the food. Btw they also have great fillet and steak. So really it is for everyone.

Give it a 3.5 stars. We were there for a friend birthday dinner on Saturday. It was really busy, but we got a table. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered artichoke heart with dipping sauce, meatballs, and several flatbread pizzas. Our server gave us cevechia on the house. I highly recommended that side dish. I had a salmon with string beans and baby potatoes. The artichoke heart wasn't anything special. Lack a bit of flavor. The flatbread, while it was crispy around the edges, the flavor was lacking. The meatballs were decent. The salmon cooked perfectly and was fresh. We ordered desserts. However, it was way too sweet for me. Service was fantastic. The food came out fast, and the prices are reasonably. There are plenty of parking spaces for the park most.

They offer a complete gluten-free menu with plenty of choices. I had sun-dried tomato flatbread and it was so delicious! The hummus And grilled artichokes amongst many other delicious dishes we tried we so good! The servers were awesome! So attentive and patient as I put in my first order of chicken skewers with truffle mashed potatoes, but by the time everybody made it around the table giving their orders. I changed my mind because the gluten-free flatbread sounded delicious and at 100% did not disappoint! Servers were very kind and professional a must stop.

Spicy salmon bowl was delicious! The service was leaning on the unhappy brooding side despite my world class smile and amiable personality… oh well. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the floor needed a sweep but I’d definitely come again for those sweet potatoes and salmon with garbanzo sauce.
Jonathan F — Google review
Good food, healthy and varied options BUT aggressive service that makes the experience totally different. Don’t go to this location unless you know Dig’s system by heart. As a new customer I was very impressed to see how angry an employee was when I asked “could I do rice and greens for base?”, “how many sides do I have?” and “Could I get any sauce please?”. The employee was aggressive since I arrived and started picking the base for my bowl, she didn’t speak loud enough so I couldn’t understand what she was saying and she got mad at me for asking for sauce, because supposedly she said “I already asked you if you wanted any” in a very aggressive and loud way. Funny thing I never heard that she asked, neither did the friend that was with me. After I picked my sauce, she just threw it into the bowl with an evident bad attitude. Very uncomfortable and disrespectful. Won’t be coming back to this location, horrible experience, ruined my mood.

You walk in and order on a machine. That part I’m not a fan of. The food was delicious and everyone was very friendly. I did wish the noodles were not quite as oily. It was a lot of oil. Overall a good experience. They have dessert bowls too, but I feel like yogurt or ice cream should be the base. Instead it’s like cheesecake filling and whipped cream. Not bad but ice cream or yogurt are best,

I got them few times when guests were over for dinner, and it was always easy and very impressive addition to our table.

Friendly service. Healthy smoothies and bowls. Takes some time if ordering in store. Ordering: People are greeted with a friendly smile as they enter, as long as the staff isn't occupied with making an order. Most orders appear to be to go. If you're looking to dine in, there are 6 window seats, 5 bench tables, and 2 tables in the middle. It does take some time to make a smoothie bowl even when there is no one else there, a little over 5 minutes, so don't expect to be in and out unless you order ahead. Food: The acai bowl is good. The acai smoothie is sweet and slightly tart. The bananas and strawberries on top were fresh and ripe, although you only get about a single strawberry sliced up. Their granola is very crunchy. It has something crisped mixed in it that isn't in the description. I've also tried the goji berry bowl, which was good too. The toppings are a nice variety and plentiful. Dislike: The super acai bowl was not a great experience for me. I personally recommend avoiding anything with whole goji berries, ones that aren't blended. The goji berries are unbelievably tough because they use dried goji berries that aren't presoaked. Goji berries are normally dried because they aren't easily available fresh. Less than half was crispy and a little hard, but the majority were really hard to comfortably bite into. If you do manage to bite into them, they then stick to your teeth when you bite into them. Restroom: There is a clean restroom to wash up in. Parking: There is free 2 hour parking all around on Washington St and other streets. This area doesn't have parking meters.

Harvest Co-Op Market is a community-owned supermarket that focuses on providing carefully sourced produce, meats, and dry goods. The market in Swansea offers farm-to-table dishes with ingredients grown on-site. Despite its size, the market offers a great selection of groceries at good prices and frequently runs sales. Membership benefits include monthly appreciation days with discounts. Additionally, the store features a bulk food section and serves as a convenient location for CSA pick-ups during the summer.
Harvest Co-op went bankrupt and closed permanently in October 2018. But for some reason, Google still insists, four months later, that they "can't verify" the closing, despite repeated reports by multiple users, photographic documentation, and a farewell message on Harvest's website.

Great selection of natural and organic products. Quiet pricey but no more than I would pay in Dublin. I didn’t find the staff particularly friendly but we are all entitled to have days when we don’t feel like chatting, right? All in all I would go there again if I meed dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan a d organic products during my stay in Boston.

I used to shop at Harvest in its old location across the street. It feels less like a group store and more like what most coops are like now. I hope it lasts. Plenty of vegan options and lots of organic produce.

Wonderful place - with some new changes in design. It's open to all bas craft beers and a nice selection of wine. It's the best place for vegetarian and vegan food around. However lots of stuff for bus meat eaters too.
Donna H — Google review
Love this place for their selection. If you like local, vegeterian, vegan, organic uncommon products, this is your store. I am always amazed at their variety and love to try new things. The one big drawback is that stuff is usually pretty pricey, I have scored some deals. You get what you pay for though and if you are searching for something uncommon and specialized, this may be your place. They do a great job of selling things in bulk too which I like. Also this location offers more than the Jamaica Plain one in my opinion.

They have everything I usually get from Whole Foods, but a better selection of bulk and spices. They're local & their staff is cool. Some items can be expensive tho & their produce gets low on certain days, hence the minus one star.

You don't get any money back at the end of the year as yours rock got would with a co-op & if there are special discounts for members its certainly not enough that in even aware of them. Great store though. Also this is a place for CSA pick ups in the summer. Very convenient
Jenna S — Google review
Harvest Co-op is great. It's not huge but it packs in a great selection and has everything you might need from a grocery store. Prices are generally good, and they always have great sales, so if you shop wisely you can save a lot of money. Membership is totally worth it if you live anywhere nearby; it's just $25 per year and it lets you take part in the monthly member appreciation day which gives you 10% off on everything, so it can pay for itself several times over in no time.

Health food restaurant
Just Salad is a popular counter-service chain known for its customized salads, wraps, and smoothies. Located near Quincy Market in Boston, the restaurant offers a clean and comfortable environment with friendly staff. Customers praise the delicious and healthy "build your own" warm bowl as well as the affordable prices. The option to order online or through an app makes it convenient for busy patrons.
Really great and fresh tasting salads! Everything was very well mixed together and was a quick and easy option for lunch. I tried the honey crispy chicken salad and the chicken pita salad. Chicken pita was definitely better—amazing dressing that had a little spice to it which I loved. The other one was fine too but just a bit boring.
Alex I — Google review
Do not order online or DoorDash from here. How is the chicken missing for a crispy chicken poblano salad. Also gave me avocado that gone bad. Not just slight brown oxidation but black.
Stef — Google review
Food: 1 Cilantro Lime Bowl $13.99: This was good and getting the option for vegan feta was wonderful. If you are gluten free get it WITHOUT the added pita chips!!! The lentils, rice, roasted chicken, avocado and pickled onion with corn are lovely, but I wanted a touch more acid, I wanted tomato or a squeeze of lime to top it off. OKAY. 1 Earth Bowl w/ Roasted Chicken $13.99: This one was disappointing. Just okay, like it was too sweet, and too soft. Not enough apple maybe? It could do with pumpkin seeds or walnuts or something added for texture. Maybe go light on the dressing? I also had a weird bite and had to spit it out. An egg shell like something yet again. Maybe because I go there in the middle of them cleaning? My mouth started itching after eating this and I took 3 Zyrtec. I haven't had great luck trying to eat in MA. PASS ON THIS ONE. Environment: It was wheelchair friendly but it is a long galleyway if you want to watch your order being made. I also thought on a partly cloudy day it was pretty dark in there. It gave dinner vibes for a fast health-food spot, and I did not like that. I also could hear stalk talking and laughing in the kitchen even with the swinging door closed, though I couldn't hear them clearly. Though some staff sought to remedy this and have a trash talking chat at the register loudly, and with music playing in the place, I did not need to hear that. It killed the peaceful vibe. VERDICT: OKAY. BUILD YOUR OWN SALAD/BOWL INSTEAD.

I’m a big fan and usually love the chicken poblano bowl , and it’s my go-to order. Love the taste of it and I it's better than Sweetgreen and Cava. But the Boston Franklin location has been consistently disappointing. I always ask for light dressing, yet my salad still comes completely drenched in sauce, which really ruins the flavor and experience. I’ve also noticed that the amount of crispy chicken is super inconsistent and often very little, which makes me question the promised 50 grams of protein and 650 calories listed on the website. I even tried reaching out on Instagram to give feedback privately but never got a response, and I gave it another shot today hoping things had improved, but again it was just drenched. I’m honestly so disappointed because I really do love this brand and want to keep coming back, but this keeps happening and it’s frustrating.

Great fresh food options in the city. If time is tight, no worries. They are efficient! Little rushed as a first timer but with a little experience this could have been a full 5 stars
Tawna S — Google review
I tried one of their hot bowls, and honestly, it was pretty underwhelming. The portion size felt a bit stingy, and the overall presentation just wasn't very appealing. I'm used to places like Sweetgreen where the bowls look and taste more substantial. I think I'll probably just stick with Sweetgreen next time.

Love JustSalad! I come here for lunch all the time for a quick, healthy and tasty meal. The staff is very friendly, and they work like a well oiled machine. My go-to salad is the buffalo chicken, but i’ve tried many and have enjoyed them all!

American restaurant
Restaurant
Anoushella Saj Kitchen is a delightful bistro that brings a taste of nostalgia with its vintage American recipes, like pan-roasted sole and oysters Rockefeller, all while infusing the warmth of Armenian and Lebanese comfort food. This cozy mom-and-pop establishment has locations in the South End and Fenway's Time Out Market, where you can savor freshly griddled manoush flatbread filled with authentic Eastern Mediterranean ingredients.
Me and my wife went to this place on a Friday night at 8:30pm. Service started on the phone when we called asking if they had anything available we don't live in the area and it was a last minute choice. She referred us to the 505 tremont st garage .. And from there good service continued. We arrived and our table was ready, were greeted within minutes of getting there. Small place, very cozy and comfortable. We got an appetizer of calamari, short rib, chicken & even drinks and dessert. The food quality was also amazing, not one complaint. From start to finish, from drinks to dessert this place is a Boston hidden Gem. It was worth it all.

Love love love! On a cold winter night, we decided to try Kitchen. It was love at first sight. Great location right in the heart of the Southend, parking wasn't too bad, and the space is very warm and inviting. We sat right in front of the kitchen (which I LOVED) and the food was perfect. I had the sole and it was flaky, light, and delicious. I also had a Negroni to drink and it was perfect. Did I mention they have a record player right next to the kitchen??! Pretty cool and very fitting to their theme of nostalgia. The service was attentive and friendly and we really had a great night.

I arrived at 5 as the doors opened and the hostess seemed baffled to try and find me a table claiming she had to keep them open for 530 reservations. As a single person dining this always puts me on alert. Clearly she wanted me to sit at the bar. Fortunately , the bar tender was a nice guy and I ordered two simple dishes. Both were good. The bibb salad came with a cheese cracker which was not very fresh. I had the calamari and enjoyed it. Dessert was a disappointment. I doubt if the chocolate pudding was homemade. The fresh press coffee was luke warm. Not good. All in all I did not feel it was worth the attitude and will not be back. Treat your customers like customers and get rid of the airs.

We tried Kitchen for brunch and it was completely disappointing. Food was basic at best, but so greasy it made me nauseous afterwards. For the price (not cheap) there are much better options. Stephi's across the street is only a few dollars more (Benedict at Kitchen was $14, at Stephi's it's $15) and at least won't make you sick. I will say the fries were good and the cocktail list looked interesting (we just got coffee and can't speak for their quality of drinks).

Me and my fiancé had an amazing experience in this place from the moment we walked in until we left. The place is nice and comfortable, our server ERIC was so polite, caring and friendly; not just him but everyone of the staff was nice. They dressed and look so sharp. The food was unbelievable, we went there for late breakfast/lunch. We got scallops, vine red tomatoes, omelet and cheese cake. Everything tasted so good. We are defitily coming back for dinner. Hands down to the KITCHEN.

lunch recently.....has some dining area out front and some in an enclosed porch in the back, smallish place, pleasant service but maybe a new server, service seemed slow, esp. for drinks and the martini was small, the hemingway was very nice, pretty noisy and it was busy but not filled, food was excellent, the calamari as good as any, the fish and chips very good and a real chunk of fish, the double bacon submarine burger was different, not what i expected, also huge with 2 patties and no bacon until you tasted it, very good and we got to bring home half of each meal.......great food, slow service (which is not always a bad thing!!)

The cocktails are great. I had Oysters, meals look delicious, too. Very friendly staff (Eric)
