We reserved our time slot tickets months in advance for all our bridal party, photographer, videographer and extra guests. The permanent displays are always fun to walk through and the downstairs reptiles and amphibians always keep the boys entertained. There's a large gallery on the 2nd floor that changes every few months, and it's always excellent. Sometimes it's more play oriented, sometimes more live animal (like the large reptile exhibit a while back), and sometimes more art gallery. Today, it's a very cool combo of exhibits, the highlight being a spot to color butterflies, digitally scan the coloring paper, and the butterfly comes to life on the wall. One of the coolest combinations of hands on craft and tech and art. Overall, highly, highly recommend. I haven’t been back recently, but definitely a serene place. Been here more than once. It has a beautiful path to walk, run, bicycle. The scenic view is meditative. My guys enjoyed watching the skateboarders and off-road cyclists as the path took us around the different tracks. The paved paths are wide and smooth. Plenty of parking in the north lot (off rt 83) plus they recently added a cafe Pavillion- though I'm unsure of the hours. There are 2 Porta John's at the lot as well that are always well kept. My small bladder is grateful for that. Highly recommend these trails at swallow cliff.

It was AMAZING to see all the famous original artwork that this place has! Every month I spent over 3 hours walking around and that was a quick run through to be honest!! It was absolutely beautiful especially with the late fall colors. The mill and the waterfalls are so pretty. If you’re interested, you can visit all four levels of the mill building and learn about a lot of things. There is plenty of parking all around this place.
