The drinks that were bartended weren’t made right, so if that’s important to you, it’s a good thing to consider—especially since they don’t allow outside food or beverages. Then we stayed for another 20 minutes trying to figure out how I can get refunded for everything because i just wanted to leave at that point. My friends and I who regularly visit normally have 0 issues, service is great, and its genuinely a fun time. That was until one of the bouncers got incredibly upset at my friend for bringing an empty can with her to throw away, as there were no public trash cans immediately nearby. I have money, thanks, and i will spend it at places with a more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere even if the drinks cost more. I've never been treated like that at Alice's. You lost out on a decent amount of money and our incredible vibes. We were going to get food and beverages. For an establishment that i have been to several times where there is only 2 other people inside for hours (clearly hurting for money with the security guard doing the most) you'd think you'd want people to feel welcome so they'd come back and spread the word. Yall deserve whatever financial hardship you're experiencing. Based on other reviews it looks like you're trying to transition into a "whites only" establishment. Do better.

You know those folks who say they are religious but only go to church once a year, and usually just for a big holiday, that is what BBQ is to me. My first time at this bar though I lived in Oak Park for many years. There were about 25 in our group but there was also another party sharing the outdoor section which made it a little cramped. Don't think we were told another party would be there...? Food consisted of 'bar bites': mini sliders, mini pulled pork, wings, cheese quesadillas, chicken wings, chicken tenders & salad. Although food was kept in warming trays, everything was cold by the time we started eating. Mini burgers were hard and no condiments (ketchup or mustard) were placed on table. Someone had ordered a regular cheeseburger w/fries and noticed some mold on the bun. Our server for the night was excellent though. She worked hard to accommodate everyone and serve drinks. The tab on this event was overpriced for what you get. With so many beer gardens/bars in the area, I can't recommend this place for parties and/or food.

We decided to sit by the high top tables across from the bar and they have the large windows open to feel the nice weather. When we sat down we did end up being greeted and the staff was friendly. We even had to have a change for our waitress due to their staffing and the next person was just as friendly. The food was just okay, and I normally love bar food. I recommend more or so for just the drinks, but we could have ordered the wrong thing. The potato skins were over cooked so there was barely any potato and the sandwiches were dry. It was family friendly when we went, we saw tons of others kids.

It was the perfect activity for teenaged boys and the venue was really impressive--plenty of screens and a wide variety of games available for them to play. We had a huge group and so had a private party time and it was great because smaller groups of kids at the party engaged in different group games with one another. We worked with Adam to book the party and he was great, having ordered pizzas for the group and asking questions about whether certain games they requested were OK with us. The pricing on the party was amazing, I was so pleased with everything. A few parents stuck around to wait and we enjoyed drinks and conversation at the bar while watching games. It was altogether a great afternoon for everyone and I would highly recommend it!
