I cannot have dairy so it's hard to find places that have grab and go stuff especially baked good that I can have. With all items being vegan it felt so nice to go in a place and know that I can have anything there! The kolaches are delicious! Usually I'm put off by vegan cheese but the one they use was so good. I highly recommend the Tikka masala empanada. It was spiced really well and the veggies in it were a nice texture. Additionally the cookies we got were perfectly cooked. The outside was crisp and the rest was soft and full of flavor. I cannot wait to come back and order sweets for all my special occasions. We discovered this place from a. Reddit post about vegan food and it’s amazing. I don’t eat a lot of vegan food and my partner is new to being dairy free but everything we’ve tried has been somewhat disappointing until we came here. Hands down this is my new favorite bakery. Not favorite vegan bakery but favorite bakery. Don’t let the words “plant based” and “vegan” scare you off if you don’t have those restrictions, please try it. It’s so good. I tried a few different things but my favorite was the chocolate chip cookie sandwiches which are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside and the jalapeño kolache with impossible meat. They have a very lgbt friendly atmosphere with cute stickers and whatnot and the staff are very friendly and didn’t look at me like I was an idiot when I asked if everything was dairy free because I missed the three signs that told me so. They also have other allergens listed like soy and wheat so you know what to avoid. I didn’t try their gluten free sweets but I’m sure they’re just as tasty! It IS pricey! That’s pretty normal for vegan stuff but everything was about $3-5 each and the little cakes are about $9. Still worth it.

The chocolate cake was dry and tasteless, the almond torte was solid but not fantastic, and the carrot was good but there were a lot of carrot chunks in it. Overall it worked out for the best, so I guess I can say thank you for not calling me to confirm pick up for very average tasting and overpriced cakes for our party!

We are SO glad we did. We called and got a tasting box from them and then decided to book. We emailed over some designs that we liked and that was that! Our planner handled vendor communication in the month leading up to the wedding but the cake came out beautifully - exactly what we asked for. We did the strawberry butter cream, white chocolate mousse with raspberry and the cappuccino mousse to pair with the espresso martinis we were having through the venue. We are biased, but it's true! We got several recommendations for Dallas Affaires, & we even taste-tested another highly rated bakery side by side with them and with one bite we knew they were the ones to go with! We had the most beautiful abstract cake & precut sheet cakes in the back and the guests were raving about it! We had an amazing experience planning and designing our cake with them and they are just great people overall! A couple of things just to recommend for future would be more access to email communication vs mostly phone as we had a lot going on in planning and it would've been easier to keep track of communication.
