There are not many shops, restaurants nearby. Only high rise buildings all around. We went there for a badminton tournament held at Shiv Chatrapati sports complex. Never seen one four star hotel like this before. Check-in was fine but when I reached the room, the card key was not working! You can imagine my frustration because the time was around 11pm. Then came the TV, the remote for which was not there. Someone came and it took ages too correct it with the remote. These are small things which makes a hell of a difference between a good hotel and a bad one. There was a musty odor both in the corridor as well as the room. Thank God our nose get used to these smells 😟. The linen are clean. The amenities are fairly good with a fridge, hair dryer, iron box, kettle to make coffee or tea, water bottles etc. But as usual the toiletries were set only for one person, though we were in a double room with double occupancy. This I hate, even though they may provide it, if we ask for it. Why can't they simply do it in the first place? There is a designated bath area, with a curtain for for facing the bedroom. The funny thing is that the curtain is operated only from the bedroom side, not from the bathroom.😂 Don't know why?! There seems to be ample car parking which is a good thing.
