The Early Bird in Plymouth is a popular spot for breakfast and brunch, offering a casual and rustic atmosphere. Inspired by Australian brunch culture, this family-run cafe serves fresh breakfast and coffee all day long, with vegan options available. They also have an artisan bakery on site where you can get fresh bread and baked goods. The Stander family aims to bring people together through great food at this cozy venue. Customers praise the friendly staff, delicious food, and perfect portion sizes.
Absolutely amazing and so many vegetarian and vegan options too! They really cater for everyone and I left stuffed 🤩 they made room for us to bring the push chair in and everyone was so friendly

I was just passing by when the delicious smell lured me in! The bakery has so many tempting options, I’d definitely recommend the brioche. The coffee was nice too! The girl working there was super friendly and kind. Will definitely be back!

This is one of my favourite brunch spots in Plymouth! Repeatedly visit and the food, staff and atmosphere never fail! Friendly, great quality, plenty of choice and clean! Couldn't ask for much more! And local/independent! Good to see business thrive in challenging times, will continue to support

I revisited this cafe this morning for it's good vegan food. The Vegan Breakfast is still quite nice and their drinks are still made well. Unfortunately, some things are not as good as they were before. For example, they used to have a great variety of vegan options and now it seems rather limited in some areas. Also, I had a member of staff spill coffee beans over my back whilst I was eating and there wasn't even apology. That said, most of the staff are friendly and smiley. I would say the value for money is not quite as good as before either, but that was my personal experience. Please see below for my original review from 2 years ago... "Blown away! Went for breakfast with friends and had a full vegan breakfast with one of the best vegan milkshakes I have ever tried. It was also fairly cheap, especially for somewhere in a city. For example, 6 brownie-cookies for £15. I would recommend getting there early to avoid the long queues, as it is very popular at the moment."

Wow! Sorry so late in posting. We were lucky enough to book in for the second ‘late bird’ before Christmas. We were too late to get into the first ‘late bird’ - and now I know why! I have nothing but praise for the whole evening. Greeted so warmly by the lovely staff who served an amazing cocktail as we sat down. We had a sharing platter to start - I can’t actually tell you which of the five or so choices were the best! This was followed by the best duck dish I’ve ever tasted! (The red cabbage was out of this world!) Compliments to the chef! Pudding is my thing - I’m afraid I’d eaten most of my choc torte before I took a photo!!! The meal was superb but it was also the atmosphere and the warmth from the staff that made the evening. Please do the ‘late night’ again! Lol we enjoyed the meal so much we actually went back for a late lunch the next day! Although there was a queue it moved very quickly and my word worth the wait! I suppose if people queue to go here there is certainly a good reason why! We left with two loaves of home made bread which omg - well you just need to try it! Totally recommend this family run business - how lucky is Plymouth to have not one but two Early Birds’!!!

We only had to wait for 10 mins for a table on a busy Saturday morning which we were grateful of. It felt were clean and safe. Super efficient service paying when we ordered. Super tasty Brunch, loving the smashed Avo & Poached egg. Shame there is only 1 toilet so a bit of a wait, but loving the smellies in there! My favorite place to Brunch with the girls! **Yet again** We had an amazing experience, no wait at all as we chose to eat outside, shady but sunny! I tried something new, the Baked potato hash with a poached egg and extra sourdough toast. Sooooo glad I did it was delightful, hubby went for the breakfast stack and was not disappointed. We are super excited you have a new venue opening soon, even closer to us AND town, can't wait to see you there!

Lovely food, very tasty. Definitely recommend the hash browns (with macaroni cheese if available on special or chicken salt if not).
Michael M — Google review
Response to the owner's comments - I don't think you actually read my review properly as we did go to your Mutley Plains location (hence why I posted my review on this location, not your city one) and we ate outside. Regardless, however, since your venues are not dog-friendly, we won't be returning. ---------------------------------- We came here for brunch on a Monday. I'm Aussie and sadly this is the first Aussie brunch place I've ever been to that is not dog-friendly so we had to eat outside, luckily it had stopped raining beforehand. We had the Veggie Mojo Sweet Corn Fritters and the EB Stack Pancakes with luxury Belgian hot chocolate and breakfast tea. The food was good, and service was attentive. Probably would have come back again on our trip but given it's not dog-friendly we decided not to.

Boston Tea Party is a funky cafe chain that offers a delightful menu with sustainable ingredients. Located in Jamaica House on Sutton Harbour, this cafe has undergone major renovations and now features a flower-enclosed outdoor seating area with stunning views over the marina towards the Barbican. With two charmingly designed floors, it's an ideal spot to meet friends, enjoy a coffee or study. The cafe provides delicious breakfast selections, brunch options, smoothies, and coffee.
A fantastic experience for both adults and children! We had a wonderful time at Boston Tea Party in Plymouth, as an adult and child duo. Everything is designed to make the experience easy and enjoyable, even for tourists who don’t speak much English. You can simply scan a QR code to access the menu, complete with realistic photos of the dishes and detailed descriptions – incredibly helpful! The prices are very reasonable, and the kids’ meal deal is perfect. We had pancakes and smoothies – absolutely delicious! The view from the terrace is stunning and makes the moment even more special. We highly recommend this place to French visitors on holiday in Plymouth. It’s warm, accessible, tasty, and family-friendly. A must-visit!

Really disappointed with the meal, service times and atmosphere. We arrived at 1140, it was quiet inside and our meal finally arrived just after 1230. We ordered sausage bap, hash browns, sausage muffin & fries. The sausage bap was ok - sausages were warm not hot. The muffin was ok, fries were ok. The worst bit about the meal was the ‘hash browns’, they aren’t hash browns at all. Hash browns should have thick bits of potato inside, not mash with a weird flavour. The server never came over to ask how our meal was or apologise for a 50 minute wait when it’s quiet? This was our first and unfortunately last time visiting Boston Tea Party.

I had the quesadilla which was very nice, but did shock me when I saw the contents were entirely purple which made it harder to eat as it did put me off a little so just had to not look at it too much but the taste/ texture really was good. I wouldn’t say it was worth the money as it’s so small for £11. But was yummy still. The fries were also very good and £4 not too bad. The biscoff milkshake was delicious, they should switch to cups covered with lids as the large tall glass they come in are more awkward and prone to spilling. I enjoyed my meal here even though it was a little pricey
Amazon M — Google review
The food is really nice, However the fries were really oily but overall the food was great! The staff is lovely and the cafe is really clean. They have some lovely music as well. Everything is really easy to order and not too expensive.

Very delicious food - had the cauliflower hallumi shwarma 😋 A very lovely team of people work here and it has become one of our favourite stops in Plymouth - there are not enough stars to recommend this place 10/10. Thank you 🥰

Service was great, super friendly and chatty! Food was delicious! Probably the best we have had in a long time!! Will definitely come back 🙂🙂🙂

Came by around 2 pm, plenty of free tables so wouldn’t call it super busy. Ordered food and coffee, coffee came relatively quick but food took ages. Tasty once it arrived, but the wait was way too long. Saw others chasing their orders too so it wasn’t just me. Overall, a pleasant experience, but the slow service was the only real downside especially if you’re hungry.

Situated near the historic Barbican, Monty's Café provides a picturesque view of the harbor, making it an ideal place to enjoy breakfast or mid-morning refreshments with friends.
Such a lovely place! Fresh food, lovely staff and great coffee and service. It was just what we needed on a busy Saturday. Myself and my Mum both had steak and stilton baguettes, and I can honestly say it's probably the nicest food I've had for a long time. Great views also with a window seat. Highly recommend.

Came here the other day, service was absolutely lovely, very friendly staff. I enjoyed my food, it was a bit pricey. Some of my friends didn't enjoy their food. Definitely get a coffee, I thought they had fresh iced tea not it in a bottle. Overall it's a friendly and nice experience.

I'm surprised I hadn't reviewed Monty's before. This is a lovely cafe on Plymouth Barbican, conveniently located and with plenty of seating. The menu offers good quality and wholesome British fayre. On this trip, I stopped in for brunch with two guests. I had a lovely cooked breakfast with decent ingredients, which was well presented. The time taken from order to serving was really quick and the staff are absolutely lovely. If you're in Plymouth and you want a decent brunch, lunch or coffee, you can't go wrong with Monty's 🙂

Restaurant
Bistrot Pierre Plymouth is an informal all-day bistro that offers classic and seasonal French dishes, along with coffee and cocktails. Whether you're looking for a midweek treat, a laid-back lunch, or a three-course feast, this restaurant has something for everyone. The menus cater to all tastes and include options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. The venue provides an unforgettable dining experience with exceptional staff, an inviting atmosphere, and delectable menu offerings.
Had an amazing dine experience with friends this evening. Fantastic place, great food, perfect atmosphere and the customer service can’t say anything negative highly satisfactory! All our needs and demands has been met beyond expectation. Staff on the floor come time to time to check at our table if we want anything more or we need assistance. We weren’t ready to order but he (Staff Sam) came back attentively and assisted us timely, we didn’t have to wait longer. Have tried their steak, so good - you must not miss at all! They also have an appealing luscious dessert menu to choose from. Additionally to highlight the drinks menu especially alcoholic beverages they offer a lot of options and they also offer hot drinks. A recommended place - will surely come back to this place. They have offers for future upcoming events. Lastly, the toilets are very clean and they have a huge mirror! If you keep coming back to the restaurant I suggest download their app to save points and can be use to spend later.

They have a great range of food and accommodation here too. Stayed overnight, had a great dinner and breakfast. Recommended. Friendly helpful professional staff. Wine list was good, had a great pinot noir.

Staying at Residence One was an absolute pleasure. Right from check-in, I was met with genuine hospitality—the team (especially Matthew, and Luzio at the restaurant) was courteous, efficient, and made the entire experience feel effortless. My room was spotless, cosy, and arranged with comfort in mind. Every amenity I could need was thoughtfully provided, and the tranquil ambience made it easy to relax. A real highlight of my visit was the visit to the restaurant Bistrot Pierre, located just in front of the historic building. It went well beyond the usual hotel fare. Dishes beautifully prepared and truly enjoyable.

Another great Sunday roast lunch. DELICIOUS!! Staff, service and food as always were all wonderful. 👍 However not the newly launched afternoon tea we thought we had booked in for. We made our reservation online as always, which didn’t state a 24 hour notice was required, which is a MASSIVE oversight on their part. 🥺
Jos W — Google review
Charged us for 8 desserts rather than the 4 we ordered. Totally confused us when we said we were having the set menu, offered us a dessert choice that wasn't included in the set menu so we ended up paying more, then tried to say we got it wrong. So 4 people were mistaken in what she said ?? And to cap it off, discovered they'd taken a £14 discretionary tip. Be nice if they had mentioned this before we paid the bill. The service was not worth a 14 pound tip ! Will definitely not be getting a return visit from us. Oh and when booking, asked for a quiet table, got put right next to a huge birthday celebration.
Nicky P — Google review
We went to Bistrot Pierre Plymouth to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary and, even without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated straight away at a lovely table near the window. The staff were attentive and kind throughout the evening, checking in just the right amount to make sure we were comfortable. Our drinks arrived promptly, and the food was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Each course came at the perfect pace, giving us time to enjoy both the meal and the atmosphere. The restaurant had a wonderful energy, lively but still relaxed, and everything felt well taken care of. A special mention to the Brazilian gentleman from the Nottingham Bistrot Pierre, we didn’t catch his name, but his friendliness and warmth made us feel truly welcome. It turned out to be a truly memorable anniversary, and we left feeling very well looked after.
Timothy C — Google review
I booked over the phone and everything was simple. We were welcomed straight away and felt at ease. The starters were really good, the mains even better, and the desserts the highlight of the night. Lovely place, clean and with a great atmosphere – we’ll be back.

Absolutely lovely breakfast outside in the sunshine. We took advantage of the breakfast deal with full English plus a cold drink and pot of tea for £13.50. Got to the till and was told today was special offer..only £10 each. Was my husband's birthday so a nice treat. Service was very good and food was spot on. We'll definitely be back soon. Well done all!

Absolutely brilliant place, having a breakfast here looking out at the sea just hits different atmosphere here is very chill . The food here tastes absolutely amazing. If I can recommend anything get the hazelnut hot chocolate. Not actually even that pricey if you compare it to some other places

Popped in for lunch today while I was killing time in Plymouth It was quite quiet being a weekday. Ordered and paid via the QR code drink came within 10 minutes and the food came about 20 minutes later. I had the chicken wrap which was very good! The place is in a lovely location, the sun was shining and it was stunning. The lad serving was very polite and attentive. My only negatives are: 1. The price. £20 for lunch for one seems pretty excessive to me. (And I'm from Bath!) 2. I was dining alone and most people were in couples but most of the seats/tables were in 4s or 8s. It would be nicer if they had a few smaller tables. Overall - I thought it was good and would definitely visit again.
Alan F — Google review
Nice place for food with a perfect waterfront view. Edit after another visit: We went there a second time and ordered 2 of the Terrace breakfast and 2 Affogato. Unfortunately, even after waiting for one hour our Affogato order didn't come. It was such a shame. There was a long wait for the food to come as well. We don't think we'll go back again.
Myat W — Google review
Recently gone through a refurb which has changed the scene entirely. Upon visiting we waited outside in a small que whilst staff brushed past and were busy, it took a five minute wait to be acknowledged. We were sat outside as requested as the location is amazing in good weather, ordering food was a fuss using the QR code printed on the table, I recommend going to the till to order as changes to drinks and food doesn't work well and you need to put phone your name, phone number and email address to proceed. Food: Was all enjoyed and the small plates are enough for a lunch option, pints are expensive here at £6 plus a go. I do recommend the nachos and everyone else didn't have any complaints but.proce was mentioned as being high. Service was good once seated.
Ben — Google review
Got some iced caramel lattes when visiting with family and honestly, no exaggeration, this was the worst iced coffee i’ve ever had. I just left it after a couple of sips. The view is nice and the staff was lovely tho. Idk what they did to the iced coffees 😭
M B — Google review
The staff is amazing, really friendly and patient. The only downside was the food and coffee (the beans they use must be cheap). The view is indeed lovely, a perfect place for a pint and maybe some chips. As for the food, I believe it depends on personal preference; it just wasn't for me.
Richard — Google review
My wife and I came for breakfast and sat outside looking towards the breakwater. Service was excellent and efficient and the young waitress was a credit to the business. Though one observation would be to trim the bacon when in a sandwich. So, we booked for lunch, a table for five (and a dog). Service was good, the place was busier than it was earlier, but still no complaints and the food, though basic, was very good. We will be back.
Harvey F — Google review
Sign said out front to come in and find a seat .Had to clean the table ourselves if we wanted to sit next to the sea view, had to go to the bar to order food and drinks ourselves as no one had come over since we cleaned the table and sat down looking at the menu. I'm not scanning some QR code on a table and signing up to something using an unknown site with my card details. Most other people had someone working their tables taking orders. Had to go back to the bar a while later to ask about the drinks, turns out our order had been lost, even had to check the food order had made it to the kitchen. I ordered the "terrace Kebabs" at £19 on the large portion side of the menu, listed as being chicken, salmon, halloumi. I'd have guessed it would have been a little of each, but I was asked to choose one of the three. Two small chicken kebabs turned up for £19 large portion, I have no idea how they classed that as a large anything. My partners chicken wrap looked better for less. There's other things I'm not gonna go into, but yeah I'd guess the location is what gets people in the door, I think their biggest problem is getting people coming back. I got newly opened, staff being trained vibes.

Tucked away in the vibrant Royal William Yard, The Hutong Bagel Co. is a charming bagel shop that has quickly become a favorite among both locals and tourists in Plymouth. This cozy café may be small, but it packs a punch with its gourmet bagels that feature an array of inventive fillings.
Honestly one of the best bagel places in the uk. Amazing salt beef. Top tier bagels in their self, love the everything bagel. On top of that the coffee is always good, I struggle to find standout good coffee in Plymouth, this is the place. They often have very good guest coffee too. Also the cakes & sweet treats are always a delight.

On a brief visit to Plymouth we simply had to squeeze in a breakfast stop at our favourite bagel place. As per usual, the salmon cream cheese bagel was a joy to behold and tasted so darn good. Just wish we'd had room to try all the other delicious sounding fillings. Great coffee, tasty bakes and a peaceful spot to start the day. We took some bagels away, too - here's hoping we can recreate the magic at home. This place is a must if you're visiting the city!

Recently tried The Hutong bagel co. For the first time after hearing good things about it. We were not disappointed! I had the beef bagel and my wife had the salmon and cheese bagel. Both were incredibly tasty and we can't wait to go back again. If I'm being honest I think it's a little pricey but you pay for quality I suppose. 100% recommend!

We visited the Royal William Yard in Plymouth and stopped by this lovely bagel café right next to the bus stop. The vibes are so chill and relaxing, especially with the option to sit by the dock. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot in any weather. The staff are quick and friendly, and the bagels are absolutely the best! I had the halloumi and the salmon with cream cheese—both were delicious. Drinks are great too, with a good range of hot and cold options. A perfect place to grab a bite and enjoy the atmosphere

Incredible food, bagels were great and it was so nice to have a good vegan option. The queue was pretty big on a Sunday morning but the system the staff have rattled through it so quickly. Brilliant service and nice coffee too.

Great menu selection and really tasty food. Staff are friendly without being overbearing. Very limited seating so finding a table can be challenging as it does get very busy! They do offer takeaway though 😊

The food, the bagels, and the hot and iced drinks here are great. Even when the place is understandably busy, the staff and the service are really friendly, warm, keep calm & organised. Nice to take bits away and enjoy them by the ocean or stay in if the weather’s not too great. Though the place is busy, the turnover of tables is quick!

31 May 2023 Wed This place is filled with memories as I used to go almost every week when I was studying in Plymouth 14 years ago. It was my absolute favourite place to have scones. Their texture, taste was perfect with the clotted cream and jam.. and after 14 years it still is!! The beautiful view right in front of you, just made it better :) I am so glad I was able to go back!

Came here for just a quick breakfast but really enjoyed our visit. The lady (owner?) was extremely friendly, coffee was good and scones delicious. The seating outside also comes with a great view across the water. It does look a bit run down but it shouldn't discourage you from coming here!

Now I either cycle or walk past Duttons every day, and till thus point I have never been in here. What a mistake that's been 😁. Just a simple cream tea (cream first of course) and a black americano however they were great. Great service and a lovely location, well very back.

Best place to wait out for your ferry departure.. :-) Lovely service, nice priced. And best of all, bicyclist friendly! 'Can I charge my ebike battery, please' ? And a big yes with a smile was the answer. Love to come back here someday. Oh, yes, don't forget to try the squid here. It's perfect!

Nestled next to the Premier Inn Plymouth East at Marsh Mills, The Marsh Mills Beefeater is a delightful pub-style chain that offers a diverse menu featuring grilled meats and international favorites like fajitas. With Head Chef Shane Cowling at the helm since 2014, diners can expect expertly cooked dishes, including their renowned Beefeater steaks and delectable burgers. For families looking to recreate some of that deliciousness at home, the Open Chicken Sandwich from the lunchtime menu is a fantastic option.
We came to the Beefeater last Saturday and the food was amazing!! The mixed grill was perfectly cooked. I must say a special mention to the young waitress Georgia, we noticed they must have been short staffed as she was on her own a lot trying to take orders and please most of the tables on the upstairs area. She was friendly, helpful and apologetic for the wait despite working her socks off! We had no real issues with the wait but was very good of her to say. An obviously busy Saturday but great food, great service and great atmosphere.

Amazing. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food was perfectly cooked at great prices. Fish was delicious. Portion size was perfect. After living in London, no service charge is great to see. Would definitely visit again.

Our server was Geogia and we had a wonderful experience both with dinning, food and overall time at the restaurant. One of our sides was forgotten but it came out in less than five minutes after we reminded her which was fine. All food was piping hot and perfectly cooked for all of our preferences. Would recommend and visit again personally

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family and I had a fantastic experience thanks to our waitress, Georgia. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional throughout our visit. Nothing was too much trouble—she made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Her timing was perfect, her recommendations were spot on, and she handled everything with a friendly smile. Georgia truly went above and beyond, and she’s a big reason we’ll be coming back. Thank you!

Years ago a beefeater used to be an amazing restaurant a real treat to go to. Standard issue cheap food these days. I mean it was okay
RICHARD H — Google review
Where to begin: 1. Never in the whole time I’ve stayed at premier inn’s and dined at the restaurants with my friend, have I ever been made to feel uncomfortable by a staff member. One of the bar staff, a tall lad with dark hair was giving me and my friend dirty looks throughout the evening. 2. The food was good quality, no complaints about it as it was as advertised, no missing items or cutlery and looked very well prepared. 3. Atmosphere was very quiet for a Sunday evening, other than a handful of people watching the football that was on. The mood of the staff made us feel as if we weren't wanted there 4. Service was, mediocre at best, as if they could not be bothered in the slightest dealing with food orders, only interested in pulling pints. The member of staff who brought our food was the only one who was pleasant. After driving all day as part of a journey to Cornwall, being greeted by this type of service, is insulting to say the least.

Very friendly staff and incredible food. Portion was bigger than I expected so you really do get your moneys worth. Can't recommend enough. Great place to have a meal while sitting outside in beautiful weather

Waited long time to get our order taken. Got wrong drinks and waited for a juice about 10min. Not even one time anybody came to ask how is food. Food is not the best and very expensive. Service is very poor. I had half rack of ribs which was 26£. Very small plate for the price. My partner got burger. I would not pay 18£ for this. Looks worse than fast food. Children’s fish and chips was very dry.

Super friendly staff and a lovely view!!! We stopped in for our 1 year anniversary and they certainly did not disappoint! The food and cocktails were absolutely delish!! 🤤 definitely going to be coming back again!! Honestly! If a main doesn’t take your fancy, a selection of the starters is more than enough! That’s what we had and it filled us both up with leftovers!!!! Highly recommend

Popped in for an early evening coffee. Splashing out... Tempted by the chips, they were really good. Cheeky half of Dartmoor IPA really good, too. Dog enjoyed the complimentary bowl of water! One small observation, the menus could be given a wipe.

Cap'n Jaspers is a renowned fast food kiosk located at the Barbican in Plymouth, serving burgers, hot dogs, and mugs of tea since 1978. The establishment has become an institution in the area and is particularly popular among bikers, sailors, night owls, and even pirates. Founded by Captain John Dudley to raise money for charity at the Barbican Regatta, it started as a small hut made from plywood and old hardboard doors.
One of the most authentic places in Plymouth. Very friendly service, great atmosphere and amazing food for pretty low prices compared to anything else in the harbor - a big recommendation!

I had the “Half a yard” which is a very nice fresh sandwich, lovely flavours but needs to be offered with chips as I was still a bit hungry 😂
Alan B — Google review
Went for a ride and ended up on the hoe at Cap'n Jaspers. Not been for a few years due to moving away, so thought a visit was a must. My wife is gluten free and so asked if there was anything she could have as gluten free, 'Sorry No'. Is it possible to have a sandwich without the bread, as in bacon, lettuce onions etc.... Sorry No, we don't have cutlery either'. Hmmm, so while I had ordered a sausage sandwich, my wife went without anything to eat and no suggestion or help from the server, what a shame. So if you are someone who has to have gluten free (dare not mention celiac) then this is not the place for you. Also, if you use cutlery in any shape or form, then again, either take your own or go somewhere else. I noticed the place did not seem as clean as previously experienced either. The sandwich, was ok and the coffee/tea was adequate.
Terry I — Google review
Great location but I feel a slightly missed opportunity. You know when something is “legendary” just because? Well this is one of those places. It’s reasonably cheap & cheerful food but the actual beef patty’s themselves would benefit from being better quality. They’re like the ones you get of questionable ingredients from a lay-by burger-van. Now I know this place is well loved by locals but with the burger market exploding in recent years I really do think they could do better. The service was good enough, slightly long wait but acceptable even though not many customers waiting, I could see the cook was busy so fair enough.
Gareth T — Google review
Have visited since I was a child, the food is great and prices are very low, only qualm is I wish they still did the relishes for the burgers, nothing on the menu will disappoint ,the half yard of hot dog is famous around plymouth as is the jasperizer...lovely cheap place to eat after a night out !!

Tasties Cafe is a beloved gem in the heart of the city, renowned for its exceptional breakfast and brunch offerings. With accolades on TripAdvisor, it has earned a reputation as one of the top spots for quick bites. Guests rave about their experiences, highlighting not only the delicious food but also the warm hospitality from owner Tony Ardis. The cafe's signature "gut buster" fry-up is a must-try, featuring an impressive array of items at an unbeatable price.
Great food at great prices. They have a "gut buster" fry up which is 4 of everything for £9.99, and it comes with a tea or coffee. One thing I particularly liked was when we asked for it without tomato they offered us an extra hash brown or bacon, which is nice as sometimes you're made to feel like you're rubbing the place if you ask. When I ordered my double quarter pounder with cheese and chips they told me I can get a free drink too, which again was nice as I hadn't realised. Just really great service all round, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the market.

Having seen this place is number one in Plymouth for breakfast on Tripadvisor we had to check it out. Suffice to say it lived up to it's reviews. Excellent central location, proper plum tomatoes, okay sausage for the price, excellent bacon and the egg was the best fried egg I've had (the owner explained it was part fried and part poached!). Very good breakfast, no fuss and a great price. Will visit again. Thank you.

Small & cozy place, looked like a family-run business, the lady was very kind to us, letting us in to wait for a table and even invited one of the other customers to move to a different table to give us a table. The food took a while but understandable as it was very busy, food is good and great price. The only reason I've gave 3 stars was for the time (40min) it took and the food was cold when it got to me. I have visited Aldi supermarkets in Spain, Germany, and UK. All of them look exactly the same, which is ok, consistency is good, and all of them offer more or less the same products, regional variants aside. To be fair, this one in Plymouth is one of the cleanest and better organised I've seen in the UK.

As a student, this shop is basically paradise. Since 90% of the supermarket’s stock is own-brand, the prices are extremely low. I found the store to be well-stocked and well-staffed, with a very reasonable wait time for tills. There aren’t any self-service checkouts if that’s what you’re into and I also found the shop to be very busy (despite a pandemic), but apart from that I had a good time and will certainly come again. Great cafe serving proper food, good food and at reasonable prices. The vegetarian breakfast is a generous portion of very tasty food. The vegetarian sausages are actually vegetable spring rolls, far better than fake meat! The hash browns contain proper bits of potato and the toast is thick like it should be. Good coffee too, I had cappuccino made with almond milk and it was spot on. The service is fast and friendly and it has a genuine friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Great little greasy spoon. We were able to walk in and get a table on Sunday morning without waiting. Food came out very quickly and was very tasty. I had a 1/2lb burger with cheese and chips, and my partner had a "monster" breakfast (which was to much for her).

I came to Jake’s In The City for breakfast when I fancied a classic full English and it really didn’t disappoint. This is your staple English breakfast café. Charlie W — Google review
Ate here regularly years ago when I lived in Plymouth and loved it, so popped in for breakfast recently when visiting. The egg and bacon were really undercooked, and the sausages were just nasty - one bite had me gagging and I had to spit it into a tissue. Standard breakfast for two, one with a coffee, had cost over £20, and it was mediocre, at best. I mentioned how bad the sausages were when I took my plate up; as I sat down I heard the cook, who had obviously been told what I'd said, say, "so she just didn't like them". I then took my partner's plate to the counter, and smiled at the cook - he scowled at me! To recap - Jake's used to be good, but now, even though it costs loads more, it's really not good.

So, right now all I will say is this in a few simple words and show you the result of my satisfaction by way of a photo. Breif description of my order. The Monster Fryup Fryup. Wow. Quality. Excellent. VFM. Definitely. Would I go again.??. I'D HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THAT.. I've thought about it, and yes.. Definitely.

Staff were welcoming. Only had the big breakfast and all ingredients were lovely apart from sausages. They were the cheap ones with hard bits in and quite a few grissly bits. That's just our opinion though. Bacon was amazing and everything else was very tasty. It's just your average 'greasy spoon cafe' so no frills or atmosphere. Presentation of the meal was fabulous, couldn't fault it. Cheap prices and very good portions.

The place was realy noice, dirty and with a lot of drunk people (we were there around 4pm). It was our first time there ( and the last one). We had a long trip to Plymouth so we were really hungry. We always had a really good experience in any city with Weatherspoon. When someone finished their meal, long time no one is coming to clean the table and take the plates or glasses away. Who is coming in, put all on other tables. We done the same and cleaned our table with wipes. We order through the app and waiting time was around 20 min. The pizza, fries and chicken were good, the burger meat was like cardboard, the lasagna was tasty, but the bottom was burnt. In their kitchen were big chaos with dirty dishes. I went to refill the coffee twice - and that's how it was and no one cleaned or washed anything.

Just your typical Spoons really init Cheap drinks, cheap (not as much so these days) & mediocre but decent food, 10 mile hike to the toilets, table service Gets quite busy in the evenings & even more so on the weekends Sometimes you can wait for an eternity to get drinks from the bar, so you're better off just ordering to your table on the app which is more often than not surprisingly quick & efficient Friendly staff, good selection of beer... it's a Spoons
Mirozenx — Google review
We stopped in here for a quick drink and were glad we did! Even though it was very busy we got served quickly and we actually thought the bar lady got the price wrong 🤣 for a pint of rattler ( which they have on tap!) and a orange gin and tonic it came to just over £8!! What a bargain. Will definitely be going back.

Small and over crowded so if your looking for somewhere a little quieter best not use this one. Food looked like it had been chucked on the plate but tasted OK.

Can’t beat the value of their breakfasts. Decent quality ingredients (as long as you avoid their sausages), freshly cooked. Great that you can swap breakfast items you don’t want for others that you want more of. Cheerful and quick service.

Very very very busy! Waited 20minutes searching for table then kind couple moved for us. (One of us is in wheelchair). Ordering at bar took another 20minutes! Despite the crowd service was fairly quick and food was good.
Jon F — Google review
Hmmm I don't think I've ever marked a spoons down on service, but to be honest the young chap behind the bar really didn't appear to like his job and pretty much communicated this with his total disinterest in his work and customer alike. Other than that, it's a spoons, the beer was good and the place clean and tidy.

5 out of the 9 draft Ciders/Beers off... And surprise surprise it still takes an age to get served at the bar. The phone left ringing throughout the whole bar and restaurant adds to an utterly shite atmosphere, if you are unlucky enough to get a table the overpriced food is average. Was is like this for just the one night... Nope, a 5 nights stay for work and not much changes.
James S — Google review
Outwardly the restaurant was inviting and seemed clean. Staff very active and keen to help. The food seemed quite pricey.. not cheap but borderline "how much!?" But you assume the food must be good or made fresh etc so the price will be justified. It took over 25 minutes for the food to arrive, when it did.. It was quite anti climactic. The £4.00 cheesy garlic bread was just 3 slices that looked like they came from aldi. The chunky chips tasted frozen and dry. As we were sat in the restaurant for about 40 minutes total i had a chance to look at things with more than a passing glance. The carpet seriously needs a deep clean or replaced and the cupboards/units look very worn down. But thats just being very nit picky. Time occurs and things wear down. The overall feel of the restaurant was warm and inviting. It got very full just as we were leaving. Staff seemed to cope well with the sudden shift from quiet to chaos! I wasn't massively impressed with the food but we are thinking of ordering desert as room service (this comes from the restaurant) - perhaps there will be some redemption!? We shall see!

We had a night away locally for our anniversary and we was spoilt with kindness the girls Alison, Megan Elaine and Freya!!! They are a lovely very hard working staff x take time to talk to us and share time to get to know us x 10star we had breakfast and Sunday roast and its amazing and 3 course meal for £24 per person and the servings are a good size 😋

Me and my sister suprised our mum for afternoon tea for mothers day, staff are really attentive and polite, quick service free parking. The food was nice and well presented 🧁🍰🫖 Plenty of choice and a lot of food they told us at the beginning that they have boxes to take the rest if we don't eat all xxxx Great value for money 🤍

Staying on site in the future Inn hotel, I thought I give the restaurant another go after a poor experience a few years ago. Mistake. It was even worse than last time. Should have guessed from the few people eating there, and even more scarce staff. The staff there were, seemed to spend most time mucking about in the kitchen judging by the noise. Not wanting the usual burger and chips, I decided to try the monkfish curry, after all this place claims (laughably) to be the taste of the West Country. It was dreadful, rice dumped, watery sauce, tasteless fish. No poppadoms , ‘ We’ve run out’. I think the waitress knew it was bad, she saw the look on my face and quickly offered an alternative. Service was very slow, nearly 50 minutes for the curry. Sadly Fishbone has not changed at all from my last poor experience.

This place is great. Quiet at lunchtime - which is very enjoyable. The food is lovely and the staff are friendly. They serve a yummy cream tea too. The staff made it extra special by decorating the table for both mine and my daughters birthdays. Will be continuing to revisit.

Oh dear, they had a disaster!! I rearly give one star but our evening was comical. We really thought we were being filmed for an Ant & Dec comedy type show!! A really pleasant venue and smartly dress staff, but thats it. The staff were clearly untrained the food quality was tasteless and dry. We were asked to confirm our drinks order 6 times and when it eventually turned up, it was incorrect!! Following the first two courses, we didnt risk a dessert. Staff were apologetic and did offer a discount and the person in charge took our polite, constructive criticism well. Still gonna strike off this place for a return visit.

Elvira’s Café is one of those places that just makes you feel good the moment you walk in. It has such a welcoming, homely vibe and the staff are always smiling and happy to see you. You can tell they care about what they do and that really comes through in the food and the service. The menu has a lovely mix of fresh, tasty options and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The coffee is great, and the cakes are something special. It’s the kind of place where you stop in for a quick bite and end up staying longer than you planned because it’s just that cosy and relaxed. It’s clear why people keep coming back. Whether you’re local or just visiting Plymouth, Elvira’s is well worth a stop.

This place is top notch 👌 The place itself has a great feel to it. Second time visiting for my birthday as the food the first time was amazing. It didn't disappoint. Deserts are mouth watering. I really couldn't fault them. Fantastic meal amazing dessert and lovely self brewed cider to which is the only one they serve but was amazing. The only thing was a small thing. The cream was a little over whipped for my taste but was still beautiful. And not bad value for what you get. Defiantly going again in the near future.

It's just the right time to visit Bill's. Its post Christmas, there's no one around and we've got a 2 for 1 main course voucher!! Not been in for an evening meal in this branch before but had plenty of breakfasts. Always, attentive and good service and tonight was no exception. Our host was both charming and knowledgeable. And we thoroughly enjoyed it. Strange sharing starter but the main course and the two desserts of rhubarb and apple crumble and an Eton mess were delicious. We had a cheaper bottle of red wine ( still 16.95 ) but it was excellent. We've got another voucher.....so need to go back before it runs out. Well done Bill's......you've upped your game compared with our last visit in Exeter.

Rockets and Rascals is a unique cafe that caters to both cyclists and coffee enthusiasts. This Barbican bicycle cafe not only serves great coffee but also offers breakfast, lunch, and evening beer and wine during the summer. It doubles as a bike emporium providing servicing and bike hire. The relaxed atmosphere, dog-friendly policy, and scenic seating area make it a popular spot for visitors.
Went in on Friday afternoon, quite quiet but still a nice atmosphere. Ordered coffee and food which was all really nice. The staff were lovely.

Love the service and staff here. If you love cycling it's perfect as there is a cycling club. As for the coffee its perfect, coconut latte every time. If you need a sweet fix the banana toast is lush. 😋 This time we visited using the wheelchair. Staff came out with a mini ramp without any hesitation or problem. So thankful for that. Highly recommend this place for its coffee ☕️ xx

Nice atmosphere inside with a bicycle theme, lots of old and new bikes, cycling shirts and bicycle bits and pieces. Sitting outside is a great place with views of historic buildings and the boats in the marina. They offer a range of cakes, but the two cakes we had were so sweet we couldn’t eat them!! So if you don’t have a sweet tooth maybe give it a miss. Maybe they need some less sweet alternatives like granola bar? The staff were great super friendly and helpful.

I've never had anything less than a perfect experience here. I truly believe they have the best coffee in Plymouth, with a great funky atmosphere, delicious food that's delivered quickly and always with a smile. I think it says a lot about an establishment that the team are always smiley and laughing and seem to be having fun, just a fantastic place.

What a wonderful experience! We were caught short in the rain this morning, looking for somewhere for a breakfast and coffee were dogs were allowed. Stumbled across this place, never been in before but will definitely be returning! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by a friendly server, Obviously very busy, offered us a table that had just been vacanted but was cleaned very quickly. He was very warm and welcoming, happy to talk about the specials and have a friendly laugh and joke with us. Drinks were out in minutes, food not much later. Fresh, tasty, quality well cooked food! Lovely coffee. Really pleasant chilled out vibe, obviously with a cycling theme! We are not 'intrested' in cycling at all, but it was a really nice place and you can understand an ideal stop for those with a cycling interest! Will certainly be returning and also well recommend!

Sorry for the rating Jake's, you're usually a sure thing so after a frankly hellish day I get my usual chippys beans and cheese to cheer myself up. Instead of the usual deliciousness it tasted like if Toby carvery decided to do chips. They weren't burnt, too salty and almost tasted stale. I don't know what happened but please go back to my one constant in life 😭

Amazing steak sandwich and best coffee in Plymouth. We went there for a breakfast while travelling around Cornwall and it is a wonderful local hidden gem. Perfect place if you want to have great breakfast, without standing out, see people mingle and get on with their day. The pastries are amazing as are the Pastel De Natas. My biggest surprise was the outstanding coffee, for which I came back a second time. We contacted Mrs Browns Bakery at very short notice after deciding that we did in fact want a Wedding Cake for our Wedding! G at Mrs Browns was very happy to talk us through the process and give us all sorts of ideas as we didn’t really know what we wanted. We settled on a fun themed cake, inspired by a cake they’d previously made, with a small cup cake tower next to it. Not only were the cake and cupcakes actual works of art, the texture of the sponge was super light and moist and the flavour of the jam and butter cream of the wedding cake, and lemon sponge with lemon curd filling for the cupcakes was sublime. As you can see from the pictures below, we can highly recommend Mrs Browns for any cake needs….

I popped into Oggy Oggy Pasties and was blown away by how good everything was. The pasties are absolutely delicious – perfectly baked with a golden, flaky crust and packed full of tasty filling. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and each bite is hearty and satisfying. My server was Isla and she was warm welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Service was quick, and the place had a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re after a quick bite, a proper Cornish pasty, or even something sweet from their selection, Oggy Oggy Pasties is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be going back – highly recommended!

I turned up a bit late and had a chorizo and ham pasty. Tasted fantastic and the pastry was lovely. Not too hard not too soft. Getting a couple for the journey home tomorrow, great pasties good prices. Sausage rolls were buy one get one free, even better.
Craig D — Google review
Had the large traditional pasty with chips and cravy. Pasty was burnt rock hard at the base and undercooked on top. If i was to replicate it myself i would need a frying pan and zero interest. I could not eat it and can not recommend it.

Ordered the Large Traditional Pasty for £5.15 It was huge and filling. The taste was good. They have a dine in inside their very spacious store. This is literally within the Plymouth Coach Stop

Lovely food, lovely staff and a lean place to visit with nice views. However we went there yesterday for breakfast and food great and lovely service, until we got the bill…… £9.95 each for a big breakfast (which is fine)……. 4 cups of tea charged at £2.90 a cup giving us a bill for £31.50. Massively expensive Tea here, so when it says eat here from £1-£10 Beware !!! Lol

Love this little cafe. Extensive menu and breakfast is always delicious and to die for. The staff are ace. Nothing more to add really, apart from it is a great setting to relax, unwind and watch the seafarers do their thing.

Me and my partner went in after a nice walk on the Barbican, we got a couple of small plates to share and was so impressed with the food. Come to this place ….. you won’t regret it and looks like a great music venue too

Dire. Firework night and limited fast food menu which was terrible when it arrived. Tasted like the cheapest burgers that were pre-cooked for speed. For what it cost, it should have been a lot better. Disappointed and felt ripped off. I think the good reviews here are for the previous owners.

Great food as always, and huge amounts too. We went for the fireworks this evening. Although it was very busy, the staff were all great, happy and very friendly. Very professional when under pressure. Will be returning again very soon. Thanks everyone, what a great team 😌

Cafe Roma Ltd offers two locations to enjoy a cup of coffee, one near Plymouth's Crown Court and the other at Mount Wise. The cafe serves great coffee and hot chocolate, although some customers find the servings small for the price. They especially recommend trying the Belgian chocolate hot chocolate made with non-dairy milk. However, patrons suggest that larger cups would enhance their experience.
A great little coffee and cake hub. Just a small distance from the main centre. Coffee and cake were fantastic. The service was great. Well, it's worth a visit for the coffee and just to relax and watch the world go by.

We've picked up before for a drink and cake. Cake was lovely and fresh and the hot chocolate is fantastic not that horrible sweet sugary stuff but made with proper chocolate. Lovely fully recommended xx
Selena P — Google review
Great coffee and hot chocolate but for the price my friend's coffee was rather small. My Belgian chocolate hot chocolate with non dairy milk was possibly the best I've ever had but more generous cups would make it more perfect. Sad the council pond has been drained as was lovely to look at whilst seated. Rather grim view now.

Blitz Coffee Shop & Cafe is a hidden gem near Broadway that offers a gorgeous and well-cooked breakfast with reasonable portions. The atmosphere is friendly and the place is nicely furnished and clean. Visitors love the freshly cooked food made in front of them, as well as the very affordable prices. The homemade cheesecake comes highly recommended, and the family running the cafe are lovely. It's considered the best place in Plymstock for its delicious food, friendly welcome, and great value for money.
Lovely little cafe run by a brother and sister duo. Just had a gorgeous breakfast. Food cooked freshly to order and they are very accommodating with the changes we make to the set menu. Nothing is too much true from Marie and Bert. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for you cooked breakfasts. Prices are very reasonable too. Most places charge a lot more for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Just popped in for a mocha as u get hot drinks with the Three app for £1 here. So much character in the cafe and the lady owner is an absolute gem. The warmest welcome and a great hot drink. The menu has classic English meals, all cooked fresh nothing reheated. A real hidden gem in Plymstock off Dean's cross road. Came back after an appt and had the medium breakfast as that's one of their most popular meals and it was epic. Really generous portion for way cheaper than most other cafes in the area and great quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Will be back soon. Thank you for making me feel so welcome

If you're looking for a delightful spot to unwind in Plymouth, look no further than Rise and Grind Plymouth. This charming café has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. With its stunning views on the Barbican, it offers a peaceful retreat where you can savor delicious food and expertly crafted coffee. The menu features creative twists on classic dishes, like their standout feta and hummus sourdough that keeps patrons coming back for more.
Been meaning to share my review of this place for a while because it’s mine and my husbands favourite little coffee spot in Plymouth! When we first came there was this feta and humous sourdough dish which in all honesty is one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. We came back twice in one week it was that good! When we came back a few weeks they had replaced it with an Avocado version, I mentioned to the girl behind the counter it was a shame it’s no longer on the menu because it was so good, to which I’m assuming was the owner turned around from making coffee and said “I still have all the ingredients so I can make it for you if your like?”. And it was just as amazing as the other two. I was really taken back by how amazing the customer service was there. She could have ignored me but she went out of her way to make a customer happy and I really appreciated it. My husband also wasn’t keen on some of the ingredients in the toasties (because he is a plain eater) so we asked if they could do a simple ham and cheese, again they were more than happy to cater for that. The coffee and mocha’s are amazing. All in all, in our option the best little cafe in Plymouth, the location is also lovely, especially on a sunny day.

Absolutely loved our recent visit to Rise and Grind Plymouth! The pistachio iced latte was delicious — smooth, creamy, and full of flavour. AMAZING!! Hosted my friend’s baby shower here and Sophie and Molly were both fantastic in the planning and the service on the day. The food was so good and they even put a twist on the food to match our theme. So accommodating and value for money was spot on. Can’t wait to come back and will recommend to anyone who asks. Thank you! <3

One star for atmosphere , and the other one for nice plates, glasses and cutlery. Unfortunately that’s all. They were toooo slow. The ice cream for kids was only on the bottom of the glass, melted. Tea they brought too early and buy the time my tray with sandwiches and cakes arrived my tea was already cold. And finally our friend ordered a coffee and we had to wait for that coffee more than 30 minutes. I’m not lying honestly. They said they are busy, but there were only 4-5 tables. Even in big coffee shops were customers are more than 10 the waiting time for your coffee can’t be more than 5minutes. I’m really sorry for my 2 stars, but if you are charging ahead you could have told us, that you don’t have ice cream instead of scraping what’s left in the bottom of the freezer. I really hope that you’ll improve your service. Tea and scones were nice. My husband said that banana bread was better last time he tried when it was quite there. My best wishes.

Sutton Snax is a new go-to spot for a group of friends who used to frequent a popular burger joint but were disappointed by declining food quality and rising prices. The cafe has become their new hangout, offering consistently amazing food and friendly staff who always greet them with a smile and bid them farewell with well wishes. Although the cafe closes at 4pm, it's worth the effort to find this hidden gem for its generous portions of delicious food served with cheer.
Seems like Sutton Snax's have been here forever, I first went in this shop when I was a 15 year old apprentice for Plymouth City Council and that was 58 years ago, their standards have never dropped, in fact if anything they've probably gone up. They sell the cheapest pasties in the city as well as fresh made while you wait 'baps' and various other food and hot and cold drinks, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, but note their opening hours though.

What a welcome from Ervis, full of smiles and genuine warmth. We chose sit inside but they have a few tables outside. The food is locally sourced and home made. The loaded fries with pulled pork was delicious. As was the Seasonal Turkey panini.. with all the trimmings & proper cut thick turkey breast. Really exceptional value! Monday morning breakfast before chores and what a way to start the week! Hubby had a nice big fry up, maybe Curnow No2 on the menu. It Included 2 rounds of buttered toast and a mug of coffee in the price. Worth the money £8! Other half has a big appetite and he said it filled him up. It was perfectly cooked, not greasy and we would definitely be back 😊 I had a breakfast bap, bacon, egg, sausage, hash brown and mushrooms in a soft white buttered bap nom nom. For £5.50 it was a mega meal and I’d eat it again for sure. A mug of tea was a quid I think. The staff were friendly and really knew the locals, it was quick service, and the place was kept clean and orderly. Definitely value for money!

It did give me canteen vibes as you are eating out of a brown paper bag or paper cup, but everything was still quite nice! I had an oat hot chocolate and brownie which came to £5.25 which is kind of expensive but not horrible. Everything was clean and tidy, and the whole place looks really nice as well!

Great cafe, lots of veggie choices

Cheapest student coffee shop on campus. Good between lectures and can get work done in here.

Good portion sizes. Fast and efficient service, even at really busy periods of the day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Coffee was exceptional.

Came here on a university open day. Nice cafe however the chap serving was abrasive and rude. If you don’t like people I’d suggest you would be happier taking another career.

Great food for a lunch if your out & about. Lovely location in the summer. I'm a regular there. The staff are really friendly. Have self service recycling bins for your waste. Not too pricey.
Debra J — Google review
This is a nice cafe situated slightly out of the way on campus serving fresh, healthy food. The staff are friendly and the coffee is tasty. When the cafe is full to capacity it can get a little too noisy to hold a quiet conversation, but I'm sure that can be said about most places. If the Pizza is available, I'd highly recommend it.

Love the breakfast. The staff are lovely and friendly. They always make effort to help those that need more assistance and get to know their regulars.

Food was good, egg on the breakfast was cooked perfectly. Only complaint is cafe was very cold as no heating on so wear a coat

Baked potato with tuna was an old potato over baked & dry, salad was just leaves with half a cherry tomato. Halloumi burger had two very small pieces of halloumi with small bowl of chips £7.50 - absolutely no value for money.
Caroline M — Google review
"Barista-served" coffee is actually produced from machine using Tesco's own blend of coffee. Not a patch on previous coffee supplier - Costa! Constant promotional announcements over speaker system quite a distracting irritation! Far from a peaceful or tasteful experience ! 😌

I wouldn’t feed this rubbish to my dog, cheapest most disgusting food I’ve ever tasted. £5.70 for a stale sausage bap and tea. rotten meat. staff couldn’t care less. Left after one bite.

Possibly the worst chocolate milkshake ever - the loaded nachos were the worst thing I have had for years - inedible- UGH - AWFUL - AVOID
Paul H — Google review
When we arrived at 4:40 (they close at 5) we were told they stopped serving food at 4:30. This was not signposted anywhere and the girl behind the till shrugged her shoulders and said they were all rotaed on until 5 so that’s when they closed the kitchen. In my opinion this is awful planning and they should be rotaed to be in until 5:30 if they close at 5 right? This is unfair on customers and staff as we arrived 20 minutes before closing but were 10 minutes late for food! Make it make sense! Staff and customers should be thought of in this planning.

The staff were friendly in the café and the store. However, we used to enjoy Tesco food, but today both of our meals were cold and on cold plates. The breakfast was small and the salad with the potato looked bruised and limp. They used to do a top notch lasagne.
