Hotel
Hotel LeVeque, Autograph Collection is a refined and sophisticated hotel located in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Housed inside the historic LeVeque Tower, this chic hotel offers designer-led accommodations with a vintage vibe influenced by its art-deco surroundings. The plush rooms feature a mix of art deco and modern touches, some offering sweeping river views. Guests can enjoy French dining at the on-site restaurant and take in stunning city views from floor-to-ceiling windows.
This hotel deserves 5 stars for many reasons! The aesthetic is beautiful! The staff is outstanding! The location is amazing! From the second I contacted this hotel regarding a block for my daughters wedding, Kathryn J was attentive, professional, and one of the most responsive individuals I've worked with! When we arrived JD and A West continued the greatness at check-in and throughout our weekend stay! Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff deserves a shout out! Absolutely outstanding!!!

Each time I come to the LeVeque it’s such a pleasant experience. My last two visits have been so amazing. Traveling a lot for work and being in and out of hotels the LeVeque is elite in comparison to other boutique style hotels. Today I had the sweetest interaction with Ashante West and Semnar at the front desk. Their sweet and friendly demeanor made me feel like I was visiting friends that I haven’t seen in awhile. They made me feel valued and offered their assistance if there was anything they could do to make my stay better. As a Marriott Titanium member the team at the LeVeque just get it! There is no other property I would choose over the LeVeque in Columbus! See you all soon!

Stayed here on a drive back to Kentucky and had such a comfortable stay! Elizabeth at the front desk was beyond kind and proactively helpful - we arrived right around 9:30pm and hadn’t eaten dinner. She immediately called the hostess stand to secure our ability to place an order without even being prompted! She also provided us with vouchers for Starbucks in the morning knowing we were hitting the road early. Elizabeth ensured that when we showed up, that we had an actively lovely stay. We ate at The Keep, the restaurant in the same building and it was DELICIOUS! We ordered the Steak Frites, French Onion Soup, Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese, and the Brussels Sprouts - all were absolutely divine (I will continue to have dreams about the French Onion Soup!). Jess, the hostess working, was so kind in not only taking our order late at night but also brought us our order at the bar area while we had a glass of wine and waited. She was friendly and flexible, which was greatly appreciated after a long day on the road. The staff at LeVeque displayed customer service truly at its finest, which can often times feel like a lost art. When we return to Columbus for a real visit to the city, we will absolutely be returning to the LeVeque!

I’m. In. Love. I’ve stayed at a lot of resorts including a few dozen Ritz experiences. This isn’t ritz but it’s certainly best in category of themed hotels. It’s themed in a celestial tone but it’s modern eclectic with a splash of mid century modern. It’s absolutely adorable. It’s fun to walk around and look at the structure and theme. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Also on par with a Ritz experience. The restaurant had a terrific traditional breakfast. Staff was friendly and prices were very reasonable. I think it was around 45 for the two of us. The wife unit had gravy and biscuits and they were delicious too. Coffee was good as well. The room doors are kind of thin. I can hear people in the hallway but I kind of expect that with a 100 year old hotel. I’m honestly surprised it’s this inexpensive. I’ve stayed in hotels not nearly as nice for considerably more. Last thing, I have an extremely deep sense of smell. This place smells wonderful from entry to room. It’s extremely clean and well cared for. This might be a contender for my favorite hotel anywhere. The theater next door is stunning and this gives you easy access to it. 10 steps from the door. Love. Love. Looovvvee this place.

Really enjoyed my 3 night stay here. My room was extremely clean, modern, and well-maintained. The attached parking garage was very convenient - especially compared to other downtown Columbus hotels. The only drawbacks were that housekeeping had to be requested each day and the AC system couldn’t always reach the set temperature - though it still remained comfortable during hot weather. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for downtown Columbus stays.

Let’s be clear I LOVED this hotel! The hotel was very elegant and clean. The staff were impeccable, so kind and friendly. I came with my service dog and they were beyond respectful when he was working and offered treats and pets when he was not. I was very impressed of their understanding of the ADA laws and regulations. The room was super clean and upscale, with a very scenic view of the river and city hall. I LOVED the bathroom, the shower was top tier. A special thank you to the Manager Ben who assisted us with check out. He was the epitome of peak level hospitality service! Gave us some cute gift bags on the way out with a very nice flask for my dad, a delicious smelling candle for me, and each a little box of truffles and hotel post cards. I would HIGHLY, I repeat HIGHLY recommend staying here you will not regret it. Thank you Ben and your staff 10000000/10 service!! You folks were angels!

This hotel is beautiful and the perfect place for our anniversary staycation. We had dinner down the street, short walk from the hotel and enjoyed after drinks in the mezzanine at the hotel, highly recommend. Valet and front desk was excellent, the the only disappointment was twice asked if we could have champagne glasses delivered, first, hours before our arrival and the 2nd time when we arrived and there were none. They seemed super apologetic and it really wasn't a big deal. They said "we'll send that up right away" and we had about an hour before we had to leave for dinner but none arrived. We were hoping to pop our bottle before dinner but ended up skipping that portion of the date.
Joe M — Google review
This hotel was impeccable. Gorgeously restored, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and the staff is attentive, friendly and makes you feel like royalty! Yordanos checked us in and she was the sweetest person, I can’t say enough positive things about her! Hospitality is clearly her specialty and the focus of this hotel. Well done.

Nestled in the vibrant Short North district, Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph is a boutique hotel offering 135 contemporary rooms and suites. The property seamlessly blends upscale amenities with a modern art gallery featuring 500 pieces from the private collection of owners Ron and Ann Pizzuti. The rooms boast subdued grey tones, Ohio Portfolio prints, and luxurious spa suites. Guests can indulge in farm-to-table cuisine at The Guild House before exploring the nearby galleries, shops, and restaurants.
I had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Joseph, Ohio during May 2025. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I’d like to especially recognize Victoria and Ian for their outstanding professionalism, support, and kindness — they truly made a difference in my stay. The rest of the team was equally cooperative and courteous, contributing to a very pleasant experience overall. I genuinely enjoyed my time at the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay.

Really nice hotel with excellent staff, an amazing location, and a great restaurant. So why not five stars? The coffee in the lobby bar was honestly the worst I’ve ever had—and that’s saying something. Paying $6 for an espresso that bad should be a crime; I couldn’t even finish it. Everything else, though, was fantastic. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the housekeeper might have been the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. The property is in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby, and the on-site restaurant is actually worth a visit too. My only other gripe is with valet parking—$50 a night feels excessive for Columbus, and I had to wait over 20 minutes each time I needed my car. For my fellow coffee lovers, do yourself a favor and walk a block to Park Service Coffee. I’d love for management to do a side-by-side espresso tasting—they might not even be able to finish their own.
Kevin C — Google review
Great location to host a work get together. Valets, bell hop, front desk, and staff in general were very nice. Check in was easy and they took the time to appreciate I did a block booking with them. Guild house was great for food. The reason for 2 stars is road noise! Holy smokes I was in 910 a suite and wow was it loud. I thought I was sleeping in a highway with how loud it was. I am bummed because it is a great hotel but if you can’t sleep what’s the point.
Midwest W — Google review
We booked a suite for one night for our anniversary. We arrived at 830 pm and were told they had to see if our room was ready. Check-in is at 3, so I was disappointed it wasn't ready when we got there much later. The faucet to the bath did not give off hot water, and when draining the bath it caused backflow into the shower drain that smelled like rotten eggs. The soap in the shower didn't dispense until my husband fixed it. Overall the room was nice and the record player was a fun feature. I was just disappointed about all of the above things, as we paid $434 for one night, and expected a perfect experience.
Erika G — Google review
We come to Columbus a lot and this has been my fave hotel to stay in! We had a corner room with a great view, the bathroom was stellar, huge room with a living area, bed, two t.v.s and a record player with bar cart🤌🏻
Kelli S — Google review
I booked a standard suite for our 10-year wedding anniversary, hoping for a comfortable and romantic stay. Instead, we were placed in a handicap-accessible room with a bathroom that looked and felt like a men’s locker room. Nothing in my booking mentioned ADA or handicap accommodations, and it definitely wasn’t what we expected for a milestone celebration. When I brought it up to the front desk, they agreed we were given the wrong room, but said there was nothing else available. The only compensation offered was a credit for one night of parking, which did very little to make up for the experience. Had I known we’d be assigned that room, I would have saved the money and booked a regular non-suite. This stay fell far short of what we hoped for on such a special occasion. Unfortunately, the lack of accuracy during booking and the minimal effort to make things right really spoiled what should have been a memorable anniversary trip. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again based on this experience.
Owen A — Google review
The room was pretty and clean staff was amazing I just found it crazy that I was charged a $250 clean up fee for leaving my food organized on the table as I wasn’t provided any trash bags and also they charged me for using towels!!!! omg this is crazy they expected me to fold used towels and keep them orderly before check out .. ridiculous… also they claim I broke the refrigerator handle of my suite meanwhile the refrigerator handle was already broken before I opened it .. I explained all these to management and they claimed that I messed up the room …. I regret ever booking with this hotel don’t recommend
Euphoric Z — Google review
Horrible customer service! I am well traveled and a Marriott Bonvoy member for years… my wife and I showed up after a long 8 hour drive with our little dog… only to be told they saw our reservation but had no rooms because they overbooked the hotel!! No phone call warning or asking us, no attempt on their part to help us find lodging!! No manager there to talk with… not what I ever expected from a Marriott property!! I couldn’t believe they basically put us out on the street! Awful experience, I have never seen in all my years of travel!! They got one star cause that is as low as scale goes!

Located at 750 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio, the Graduate by Hilton Columbus offers a unique hotel experience inspired by Ohio State University. The hotel features college-themed rooms including Graduate Double-Double, Graduate King, and Studio Suite options. With its hipster vibe and pet-friendly policy, this hotel is perfect for a fun and quirky stay. Situated just 4 miles from the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, it's also close to various attractions and restaurants.
This hotel is a great pick for anyone passing through Columbus, Ohio. With a Shake Shack and a bar right downstairs, you really don’t have to leave the building for anything. The valet service was quick and efficient, and every staff member we interacted with went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We visited over a holiday weekend and expected some chaos, but everything ran incredibly smoothly—a real testament to how well this place is managed. I especially loved that it’s dog-friendly and that you can easily grab a snack or meal without ever stepping outside. The lobby has plenty of cozy spaces to relax and spend time with family or friends, which made it feel even more welcoming. Overall, a fantastic experience. Five stars all the way—and we’ll definitely be back!
Jason N — Google review
At first, I wasn't feeling the hotel because I didn't understand the decor. After researching, I realized it was representing Ohio State University. It was a clean and relaxing room. It was hard to get up for the conference and had to attend. The staff is very helpful and friendly. What would make the hotel better is updated amenities like vending and ice machines, more update different pictures of the graduates. If you get the two cans of graduate water, drink it. The water was delicious.
Angela N — Google review
The hotel is well located and has a fun, college-themed atmosphere that brings a nice touch of nostalgia. However, my room was quite noisy. I could clearly hear guests next door and above me, and I was woken up around 1 a.m. by loud voices, shouting, and laughter. While the bathroom was nice, the overall experience was affected by the noise level. Also, the staff was not very responsive when I reached them.
Mik — Google review
Room was very dark (floors and walls are dark colored) and there’s not enough lighting - definitely providing that genuine “dorm-room feel” I suppose. There’s a bunch of lamps in the room, but they are still not bright enough to illuminate the interior of the closets and desk/hutch). Everything else was great and staff were very friendly. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT LOCATION!
Dan S — Google review
Great location if you're in town for convention or spending time in this area. Decor is definitely themed, but fun and something different instead of the standard look you get everywhere else. One note, didn't see it on reservation, but instead of like normal hotels just keeping card on file in case of incidentals, they charge it up front and then refund anything not used, so don't get surprised by that. Coffee in the room leaves a lot to be desired, but there are plenty of places nearby to get a decent cup in the morning. If you don't want to valet, there is a public pay garage around the corner. The entire street is filled with bars and restaurants. If your room is on street side, you will need to keep the fan on to drown out the noise from the street.
Chris S — Google review
We stayed here on a Saturday night a the end of August. We booked online is the Hilton app a couple days before arriving. The room was clean. The decor theme of the hotel is like a dorm so the room reflected that. The ceiling made it look like we were in the basement but we had a nice big window to people watch on the street below. The front desk staff were friendly and upbeat. Check in and out was easy. We didn’t realize when we booked the room that it was an Ohio State football game weekend. There was A LOT of traffic in the area both on the road and on foot. There was plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance and most were packed. Our room faced the street and I was a little worried that the noise would be an issue but it wasn’t. We did visit the onsite bar / restaurant which was equally as packed as anywhere else. There was one bartender working that we saw and she was friendly and she was hustling. We only had drinks, no food and I can’t comment on the coffee because we got ours across the street in the morning. There is no onsite parking, just valet. We parked ourselves in a parking garage behind the building - it might have been a half a block or a block away depending which door of the hotel you enter/exit. I want to say the price for overnight in that garage was $22 but don’t quote me on that. I can confirm it cost less than the valet anyway. This isn’t a typical Hilton property with the college theme going on. It was different but we still had a good experience.
Miss V — Google review
Very noisy location. Even on the 10th floor — the second highest floor — we could hear cars drag racing along High st, late into the night. Had earplugs in but could still hear the street noise. Definitely ask for a room not facing High st. Front desk staff were very standoffish and unfriendly. Barely looked us at us when talking to us. They clearly didn’t want to be working and it showed. The bar where breakfast is served (for an additional cost) was terrible. Microwaved food served by, again, standoffish staff with an attitude. Skip it. We won’t be staying here again. For this price point, a lot of things should be better.

Had an absolutely perfect stay at the Graduate by Hilton in Columbus. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was fantastic and the on site restaurant was a great spot to grab breakfast early in the morning. I would highly recommend staying here when staying in Columbus.

The Hilton Columbus Downtown is a sophisticated hotel with convenient access to the convention center. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an indoor pool, hot tub, and a bistro/bar. The hotel staff are known for their exceptional friendliness and helpfulness, creating a safe and welcoming environment for visitors. Despite hosting numerous conference attendees, the check-in process is efficient and guests rarely experience long waits for elevators. The hotel's decor features original artwork by local artists, adding to its contemporary charm.
Loved this hotel and will definitely re-book if I find myself in Columbus area again. Elaina (sp?) at the front desk was so pleasant and informative. As I was attending a seminar, being attached to the convention center was nice, no worries about parking, etc. It made it convenient whether it was during a break to come to the hotel for a coffee, soda or a light snack, or wrapping up for the day to be right there on the premises. Restaurants on site were nice, but if you fancied some other fare, the restaurant options within walking distance offered something for everyone.

Nice hotel, the room was clean and well taken care of. The bathroom wasn't bad. My biggest complaint, the room was super hot. The whole time we were there our room never approached the temperature we had set on the thermostat which made sleeping uncomfortable at times. If you stay here during the winter I doubt you would have the same issues we did on one of the last hot days of 2025 it seems.

Stayed two nights in Columbus and was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, quiet, and had plenty of outlets. Staff handled a late check-in smoothly. Breakfast is basic but fresh. Parking easy. Would stay again.

One of the best Hilton’s in the country. Excellent location downtown for access to the convention center and blue jackets arena. Amazing food and happy hours. Fitness center, pool/hot tub and business center were great. Exemplary customer service by everyone I met especially Melissa at the front desk who checked me in. I hope to stay there again!
Neil G — Google review
We had a perfect experience at this Hilton. It's extremely convenient if you're going to a show at Nationwide Arena - just a 5 minute walk. Room service digital ordering was reliable and the food was delicious. The pool is pretty small but we enjoyed it and the hot tub was great.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room and rest of the hotel were spotless and well maintained. Location is great to walk anywhere downtown and the staff is beyond friendly. I was riding in Pelotonia and running a little behind when it came for checkout. I was able to text their system and request a later checkout. Within minutes it was confirmed, despite being a last minute request on my part. 10/10 recommend staying here
Chase P — Google review
This was my first time staying at Hilton Columbus, and I was there for a week on a work trip. The room was spacious, well-equipped with amenities, and the view from my window was a nice bonus. Housekeeping was regular, with service provided every other day. The hotel’s central location made it very easy to access several sightseeing spots on foot or by public transport. The workshop I attended was organized in one of Hilton’s buildings, and staying at the hotel made everything close and convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and would be happy to return again.
Vyshnavi V — Google review
The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was all on-site restaurants close by 11 pm on Saturday night, with the exception of Stories on High (the rooftop bar). The service at Stories at 11:30 pm last Saturday night was so lacking, we ended up by walking out after being seated and waiting over 15 minutes for someone (anyone) to acknowledge us. No room service that late either. Cold chicken wrap for dinner after the concert from the 24 hour convenience store in the lobby. For such a beautiful, upscale hotel with so many dining options, it is a shame they all close so early on a weekend.

Located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, this Marriott-owned property features contemporary amenities within a majestic red-brick building.
This is a very historic building. Inside is maintained pretty good. Service and all staff were awesome. I was not happy with the size of our room at all for the price. Really small and to upgrade to anything larger was ridiculous. We were there for a wedding as guests. I'm not sure how much the cost was for that beings the wedding plus reception was held there. The only convenience was we didn't have to go anywhere. I was also shocked at the homeless that were standing out front near the door, who inquired about spare money as you passed by. I have a hard time trying to recommend this place because of such a small room for the amount. I travel alot and stay at many different hotels and have a much better room for half the price. I'm adding to this review now that I just received a bill for parking after the front desk explained we could park behind the hotel which we were not told this is paying parking lot. We only seen valet on 1 side of the entrance and parked on the other to are surprise was still pay ,we were there for possibly 3.5 hrs which now they are billing us $102.00 . I will never stay here again and will warn others

I’m a lifetime titanium elite Marriott Guest. In my 25 years of staying in Marriott properties this has to be one of the worst run hotels I have ever seen. The Restaurant opens late every day. Supposed to open at 6:30 AM and did not open until 7:42. This went on for a few days and every time I’m told that the person is running late. Maybe that person should not be working there then? They give you a breakfast voucher and then you can’t get in to use it… Not to mention the restaurant staff is cold and extremely unwelcoming… The rooms are definitely dated and clean-ish, but not up to standards. The sheets were stained, and the bed was poorly made. Wallpaper is peeling off in some areas . I typically stay 200+ nights a year in Marriott properties and this place is just not up to snuff. Things like this start from the top, and I hope the manager reads this closely and understands that you have to take better care of your guests. You must hire better people. The one bright spot what’s the delightful young man that checked me in. He was extremely professional, attentive and should be put in a management role. He is the only reason I might give the place another chance at some point in the distant future…

Westins in general are really hit or miss but this one is a miss. Staff is very nice and seems like they have a pretty hard job with all of the issues, but still. I had similar issues as other reviewers with bar soap (none, but a beautifully clean soap dish by the sink??) and body wash (also none, but they told me they were out of it then found some in another room). Then my air conditioner went out. They told me to turn it on and off again. I did this twice and sat in a 78 degree room for 2 hours as I slowly started to get delusional about whether it was cooling or not. Finally I called the front desk. 20 minutes later and I had to call again. This time no one answered. I had to escape before I passed out so I marched down to the front desk. Was it the heat? Am I naturally hot headed? I don’t know but I was definitely out of patience at that point. They moved me to another room but it was 9:45 after a very long day. Again staff is lovely but this hotel doesn’t give them much to work with.

This hotel is very outdated and needs a lot of work. Renovations need to be made. Old furniture, stained carpet, musty, smell in the lobby, and stained bathroom towels. Poor customer service. I requested extra towels at check-in. Was told that they would be brought up to my room that afternoon. Got back to my room at 9:30 that night and there were not any towels. Had to call again. I waited an hour. Then I called again. It was now 1130. Was told she was the only person at the check-in desk and she would get up to the room as soon as she could. got our towels at 11:50 PM. They were warm like they just came out of the dryer. And they were damp. Absolutely disgusting. I would never stay here again. this is also a very sketchy neighborhood. Right across from a public bus stop. Buildings were abandoned. Definitely did not feel safe walking into this hotel.

Parking not provided for guests. Get ready to pay a bunch of parking fines because the laz app doesn't work properly. Location is a decent driving distance from the convention center but nothing else particularly nice is within walking distance. The closest breakfast spot is a first watch that is a 15 min walk.

Non existent housekeeping for 7-day stay. Never experienced such an inept HK department at any other hotel. There is a massive disconnect with most of the staff. No one appears to have a hospitality background. From my initial check-in, to not getting any HK service throughout the week, even after calling the front desk and reporting this. Still, did not receive 1 visit from HK. Every day I had to find my own coffee packets, and by the end of the week I ran out of soap, toilet paper, and other amenities that would be replenished by HK. I wanted to give the hotel management this information, and sent an email to the guest services manager more than 2 weeks ago, and never received a response. I then sent an email to their corporate office a week ago, and have not received any response from them either. That explains a lot. If management doesn't care, then their employee's won't care either. You'll also notice that management doesn't response to any reviews either like most other properties do. This was one of the worst stays at a Marriott Brand property I have ever had, and I stay at Marriott properties exclusively.

The hotel has a nice lobby, but that’s about it. The room was extremely small—I kept bumping into things—and the decor and design felt outdated and poorly done. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and I wasn’t able to get any proper sleep during my stay. To top it off, my view was just a brick wall. I’m giving it two stars only for the convenient location, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very old hotel. Pillows too thick to sleep on with no options like other hotels have. I had to use towels as a pillow. Fitness center is very limited and in a bad location in basement with no reception. I expect a lot more out of Westin. This might be the last Westin I stay at.

The Blackwell Inn & Pfahl Conference Center is a charming campus accommodation that provides conference facilities, a laid-back dining venue, and a fitness center. Situated near Ohio State University (OSU) and the renowned Ohio Stadium, it's an ideal choice for visitors attending OSU events or exploring the campus. The hotel offers various room options including family rooms and executive suites with premium amenities.
The room was clean and very comfortable. I gave the room 4 stars because the room has no "lit" place to do hair and makeup. The bathroom light is dim with no area to spread out your supplies. The bar area has room to spread out your stuff but the light is dim and the mirror is too far away to trust my artistry or lack thereof. I received an ADA compliant room, so I am not sure if the bathroom would have been the same in a regular room. Overall the halls were quiet, the service was friendly and efficient and the location was perfect for me. The bed was super comfy with an array of comfortable and differing pillows. One of my favorite things was the chair in the room that surprised me when I discovered it was a recliner! I loved that.

Wow!!! What a great hotel experience! It felt luxurious for a very good price, check-in was incredibly easy, it's central on campus and you can walk everywhere, and parking (which is normally such a hassle) was good. We stayed here to go to a concert at the Schottenstein Center and it was such a quick, easy, safe walk back to the hotel. The staff were very helpful on multiple occasions, the rooms were clean and decorated nicely, and there's a little Ohio State store inside. Would stay again!!!

I recently stayed at The Blackwell Inn & Pfahl Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and uniquely decorated, adding a special touch to the stay. Parking is conveniently located just next door, making it easy to access the hotel. The room service meal exceeded my expectations with its quality and variety. The booking and check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I look forward to many more visits to this fantastic hotel!

I have to hand it to Blackwell Inn and Phal Conference Center - they did a great job with the Room. It's clean and well maintained. The rest of the facility is also up to date and well maintained. Service we very good. If you need a good place to stay in downtown Columbus without a lot of hassle - this is it. Great Job.

The room was huge and had a ton of amenities, it even had a conference table(which we didn’t need) there was a coffee area with all the essentials, a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave and glasses for drinks, they brought a roll out bed which was a lot more comfortable than the pull out sofa alternative, the bathroom was big and there were several sitting areas. The dining downstairs was delicious especially the pretzels with queso dip!! Great views and shot distance to walk!! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!! Great rate and even has quick valet service!!

We stayed at The Blackwell Inn for one night while in town for a concert at Crew Stadium. We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the venue, along with its stellar reviews and appealing amenities — and it definitely lived up to the hype. Although our stay was brief, we still had a great experience worth sharing. Check-in and check-out were seamless, thanks to the option to handle it ahead of time online. It saved us time at the front desk and got us to our room quickly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and welcoming. We had a minor hiccup with our valet ticket, but it was handled quickly and without any hassle! Great customer service all around! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of storage and a cozy bed. Everything felt modern and well maintained. Valet parking made things easy and convenient — our car was usually brought around in five minutes or less, which was perfect for coming and going with ease. We grabbed breakfast from the buffet in the morning and were pleasantly surprised by both the quality and variety. There’s also a made-to-order menu available for those who prefer something different. Overall, even though we were only there for a short time, we were genuinely impressed. The hotel was clean, stylish, and clearly well cared for. We’d absolutely stay here again — it’s worth every penny. (I didn’t get many pictures while I was there due to short stay, but attached the ones I did snap.)

Great hotel and excellent service, and nice room, very great feel. My only complaint was that my shower head and bathtub were a bit old and not equipped for holding items for showering, etc, but the rest of the bathroom is charming, and the room service and cleaners are amazing

Moxy Columbus Short North is a modern hotel located in the vibrant Arts District of Columbus. The check-in process takes place at the industrial-chic bar, where guests receive a complimentary drink token. The hotel offers various room options, including those with balconies and suites. Its excellent location allows for easy access to nearby attractions. Guests can enjoy the sociable atmosphere in shared spaces featuring a billiard table, bar, and casual restaurant.
This hotel is fantastic BUT you have to know a little bit about The Moxy before deciding to book. We've stayed at a Moxy before and knew what to expect, so it was perfect for our stay. Some great things about the Moxy - - centrally located in Short North, very cool area - free drink tokens at check-in - cool bar that doubles as a check-in counter - youthful, fun, lots of games in the lobby - super nice staff - nice, hip rooms with good views, though small - easy communication with the staff through the Marriott app - easy valet with secure parking for pretty decent price Some things to know about the Moxy - - It's kind of designed like a hostel (in the best way) -- everything is very communal, meant to help you socialize and hang out. Ironing boards are in the hallway, for example, and of course the bar is kind of the central focus of the lobby. - It's loud at night. The rooftop bumps music until 2AM or so. If you can't sleep near noise or you need to go to bed early, maybe choose somewhere else. We planned to stay out late (and have no problem sleeping near noise), so this wasn't an issue for us. Some things I personally didn't love about this Moxy - -This particular Moxy is a little cramped and the walls are very, very thin -- plus, the design of the building causes noise from the rooftop to be heard in every room. - The rooftop seemed to be inaccessible unless you entered from the lobby, in which you have to wait in a line to get up because the roof is public access. I'm guessing this is for safety, but was still a bit strange - The bathrooms are a sliding door (which I never prefer), and were pretty squeaky, so we could hear the rooms around us opening and closing their bathroom doors, too. The doors may need to be greased to be quieter/smoother. Overall, we loved our stay at the Moxy, and would recommend it for similar groups who are planning to use the hotel as a landing pad for a night out in SN. We loved that our room had 2 queens with a door in between, so we could stay with our friends but have a little bit of privacy. We love hanging at the bar and in communal areas, so the lobby was a great way to start and end the night. Definitely a great hotel as long as you know what to expect!

Rooms were ridiculously small, and not user friendly whatsoever. I was less than impressed with the customer service and their ability to help me with the needs I had at the time of checking in. I had asked for a luggage cart, since I was on a 2 week working trip, I had quite a bit of personal items I needed to store in my room, rather in my vehicle with the chance of someone breaking in. After all my vehicle was parked offside, since the valet was not anywhere to be found at 12:30 am. Neither was the luggage cart, or the front desk/bartender attendant. I waited 20 minutes outside by my vehicle for her to return with a cart, and I might still be standing there, if I hadn't given up on her and the valet at this point. After 4 trips to my room to unload my belongings, park my vehicle in a very sketchy garage, and settle in to my bed, it was already past 3am. I had a early morning zoom at 6 am., and a on-site meeting at 9am.,after returning to my room at 10:45, I asked if I could get a late checkout, so that I could get a one or two hour nap in before checking out and returning to my road trip, day #9. I was pleasantly told that it would not be problem and I could check out at 2pm. Wonderful, so I thought. Promptly at 11:15, 11:40, 11:55, 12:15 AND AGAIN, at 12:30, I received a knock on my door from room service, and finally from guest services wanting me to vacate the room. SO MUCH FOR THE NAP, OR THE GUEST SERVICES. UNBELIEVABLE! This was absolutely avoidable, if only the employees who claimed to help you actually followed through. This could have actually been a 5 ☆Review if customer service existed, instead I chose a 3☆, Which really should have been a 1☆. I most likely will not return or recommend this "Posh" Hotel in the future, Unfortunately.

Overall not a bad experience but not personally ideal for my gf and I. Room was definitely one of the more "unique" rooms I've stayed in. I really liked the bathroom/shower, but not a whole lot of storage space in the room and the room overall was pretty small (we had a King room for 3 nights). There was a club on the tenth floor that plays really loud bass-heavy music until 2am every night we stayed there which ear plugs didn't really help with (we were on the eighth floor). I would really only want to stay here again if we were "out on the town" every night. Had a really great view of the area from our room though and the staff was super friendly!

Needing to be 21 instead of 18 to check into a room is such a stupid rule for a hotel. If you’re able to drive, you should be able to check into your own hotel. Telling a 20 year old adult attempting to check in late at night after a long flight that they will not be let up to their room and have to find somewhere else to stay for the night will guarantee anywhere a one star review on my book (yes, that’s exactly what happened).
Josh H — Google review
The hotel was really nice inside and the room looked nice but it was extremely small and had no refrigerator for us to store any kind of drinks or food. They had drinks you could buy from the check in area which was actually a bar on the 2nd floor but they were very overpriced and not even cold. If you want to be able to sleep, I highly suggest against this hotel, because there's a bar beneath the hotel and they play super loud music all night long. Personally, we will never come back to this hotel again.
Taylor M — Google review
We were very excited to stay at the hotel in Columbus, until midnight. Turns out, our room was placed directly under the Mandrake which turned into a nightclub after 10 pm. We were not informed in advance and the hotel did NOTHING to assist us. they wouldn't move our room and they didn't apologize about the mistake. I will never stay at that hotel again. Yeah, it's cool and hip, but it's crap if you want to sleep on a bed in a hotel that you paid a lot of money for. Our room charge was $399 a night. Never again.
Rock C — Google review
I think this hotel needs to decide what their priority is: the club on the top floor or the folks staying in the hotel. I came with a large group of colleagues for a work conference. We’re all social and whatnot, but the music from the club is inexcusable for a hotel, even for a Moxy. I was on the 9th floor and the bass was going till 2 am, only to be replaced by the sounds of tables scraping across the floor as they cleaned up. Listen, I get it, I love the clurb too and we even went there to drink one night. But sleeping at this hotel is not easy… and that’s what a hotel is for. When I told the front desk, they were like “we aren’t really affiliated with the bar and can’t control it.” I don’t know yall… you can’t have this club be the priority over your hotel guests.
Jeff S — Google review
Service was great. The room as very clean. If you are a party person, this is a good place to stay if you want sleep, I don’t suggest staying here. Until the bars on High Street close, it is loud with music and people screaming and loud cars and motorcycles and police driving by. I’d never stay here again because of that.

The Hilton Columbus/Polaris is a modern hotel conveniently located just off Interstate 71, offering easy access to popular attractions such as Ohio State University and the Columbus Zoo. The hotel features stylish and comfortable accommodations with up-to-date technologies like flat-screen TVs and multimedia docking stations in its 254 rooms. Guests can enjoy amenities including a fitness center, indoor pool, and an on-site restaurant. The hotel is also close to the Polaris Fashion Place Mall and downtown area attractions.
This is a very nice hotel near the Polaris mall area outside of Columbus. We stayed here to visit a friend who lives in a nearby suburb to celebrate a graduation. The hotel is nice and easy to locate. The lobby is spacious and beautiful. I took off one star because it wasn’t explained to me that my gold status didn’t include the $15/day/person my way benefits because the hotel has a lounge. Aside from that, I had no issues with the room/property. The lounge was great. It was in a room on the first floor. For some reason my digital key didn’t work but the physical key did. They provide complimentary breakfast. And there is an evening reception. You can access water and light snacks. The pool area was inside and pretty small but the fitness center looked very nice, with updated equipment. The hotel room was very spacious but the bathroom was a bit tight.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. When I arrived, I discovered that the comforter on the bed had visible feces on it. This is absolutely unacceptable under any circumstances. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they only offered to bring a new comforter. I had to specifically request all new bedding myself. What was even more concerning was the staff's reaction—or lack thereof. They didn’t seem shocked, apologetic, or even particularly bothered by the situation. This kind of issue should be taken very seriously, both for hygiene and customer safety, and it clearly wasn’t. I will not be staying here again, and I cannot recommend this hotel to others. Cleanliness and proper customer service are non-negotiable, and this experience failed on both counts. UPDATE once we checked out, guest services offered to take one night off and we accepted.

If you want a quiet night and there are people on your floor good luck. You can hear everything doors opening, closing, people walking around on the floor above and you can also hear the neighbors. My visit I was lucky enough to have a room full of kids with 0 parents. It was shocking how NOT soundproof the room was being that the hotel is relatively new. You hear everything in your room. Security does try to enforce quiet time. Also had what looked to be blood spatter on the comforter. Breakfast was way overpriced for what you get but service was good in the restaurant. Also could not use the Jacuzzi since there was a lot of kids in both the pool and Jacuzzi. But what really set the visit to not very good was after I reported it to customer service I was supposed to receive a phone call from the manager by the latest Tuesday 10/21/25. I did NOT receive any phone calls from Hilton and it is now 10/25/25. Will not be returning.

This is a great hotel for either leisure or business. I only have one complaint which is why I'm choosing to only give it 3 stars. I arrived at 10am because I had an early flight into Ohio from Florida. I took a chance that my room would be ready which it was; however, they had the nerve to charge me a $25 early check-in fee. I've stayed at even nicer hotels and have never bern charged an early check-in fee. I paid it because I wasn't going to just sit around until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. But, how outrageous! Considering the room was ready for immediate occupancy. This is not a sign of customer hospitality. If I return to Columbus, I'll probably choose another property for my stay. So, they lose a customer over $25.00! And, I plan to share this with my business colleagues as well!

I came to a conference here 2 years in a row. I was so glad to see Mike, the bell hop at the front door when I came back. That man couldn't be any kinder and more helpful. He makes a big hotel feel like a quaint family owned inn. So warm! The team at the front desk is also amazing! They are vibrant and engaging and make sure you have everything you need for a great event and a comfortable stay. I hope to see all of them again next year! Thanks Hilton Polaris team!

We were in town a few weeks ago to visit family and friends. We were to stay two nights, but after one night of the clunkiest sounds AC system ever, we cut our visit short. Busy location and a large wedding had the weekend packed up, but we didn't have issues there. Used Hilton Honors to check in and out without meeting any staff, so we can't grade them. 3.5 rating if I could.

Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel. I've stayed at 3 star hotels and were way better than this place. First off stay out of their elevators unless you want to be rescued 2hrs later. Elevators have NOT been inspected in quite sometime. When brought the issue to the front desk they said there was horseplay in the elevator but also mentioned that the other elevators down the hallway were broke as well. They offer a drink on the house. Used bandaid on the pool floor for 3 days not moved. Centipedes, Arthropods in the shower. Over all dirty room. Please see attached photos of elevator inspections, etc

The Renaissance Hotel in Toledo was very beautiful. It sits on the water. The restaurant upstairs was phenomenal and the food was great. Also, the rooms were very beautiful and the whole atmosphere was great from the valet parking and all the employees it was a nice little getaway The whole Renaissance staff was wonderful and also the breakfast was very great as well. I will be coming back very soon so please if you get a chance stop there you will definitely will be pleased.

Front desk was incredibly helpful, valet was friendly and prompt. I enjoyed the stay, the gym was very nice and the rooms were beautiful. Heavily disappointed in the showers, very dated looking and the ceiling tiles seemed to be quite worn. Apart from the paper thin walls and exceptionally loud pluming. Just to reiterate what others have said, if someone near you flushes the toilet or takes a shower you’ll be able to hear.

I gave this hotel 5 star's because of how friendly and accommodating the front desk was. We stayed here a few times now and every time they are super friendly and helpful! The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom doors don't lock. But that seems to be the norm now. And the counter space in the bathroom we pretty small! Loved the lobby, and it always smells so good!

Check in and check out was easy and no wait at all. Front staff was nice. We did breakfast in the morning which we do not recommend. It was very overpriced for a self serve buffet line and not very organized. The omelette was very good but the person working at the station had no personality. Highly recommend searching for another food option in the area if time allows. Room was okay. Not horrible but not state of the art either. Hotel and rooms could surely could use some updates. I think we got placed in a handicap accessible room so the toilet was practically on the ground. I thought the shower pressure was great being so strong, wife thought it was too strong. While it was not something to write home about we would stay again. Walk was about 15 minutes to Nationwide Arena so location was not bad at all. Everything was within a decent walking distance.

This hotel is truly a blast from the past. It has a tremendous 80’s feel to it. The rooms and decor were fabulous throughout. The customer service was phenomenal throughout the property. From Teresa at the valet to the front desk staff. Nick, Ling Ling, Laura and Andrew. This is truly a world class experience. Stop by Latitude 41 and have Will make you a drink. He’s incredible for sure!!!

Ultimately? Underwhelming, Disappointing. Pros: -Easy Check-in and Check-out -Allowed us to check in an hour early -In a great central location, walkable to TONS of restaurants, coffee shops, etc... -Very comfortable bed -Clean -Staff Seemed Friendly (too busy to help you maybe, but friendly) -Convenient Event Center with excellent event staff -Valet service very convenient and fast (but pricey) Cons: (Where to begin) -Bathroom ceiling (tile drop-ceiling) was falling apart, leaving gaps above the shower you could see into -Make-up mirror light did not function -Shower door very worn out, felt like it could break, leaked water on floors -When you are showering, if the neighbors above or beside you flush their toilet (it's loud, you'll know) there is an immediate 5second drop in water pressure and the warm shower water becomes immediately very chilly -Walls are paper thin, could hear neighbors talking in their rooms. Could also hear anyone who walked or talked in the hallway -When we got to our room there was no TV Remote, didn't notice until bedtime and couldn't turn the TV off. Called the front desk, took them 30min to find us a remote, but even the new remote didn't work! They never found us one that night, had to wait till the next day and climb under the desk to turn off the power-strip to turn off the glow from the TV. -Valet parking costs very expensive: $45/night +Tips Did not have enough time to check out the rooftop pool, but it always looked busy and sought-after.

We stopped in for the night on our way to Michigan. We stayed on the 20th floor! It had a beautiful view of the town! The pool was nice and warm! The sauna was incredible! Hotel restaurant had great food and the store in the lobby had great late night snack options. In the morning we were not far from hopping right back on to the highway! Valet is top notch! They had our truck out front by the time we made it outside from our room! Thank you all so much who made this stay wonderful!

Hotel overall is nice. Service was good and it's clean. The rooms on the other hand basically have no privacy when someone uses the restroom. Middle of the night someone goes and if they turn on a light it lights up the whole room. The barn door with glass offers no privacy for anyone. The walls are paper thin. When the door closes to the room it shakes the wall so all the nearby rooms hear that. Do better planning on your rooms. People bo matter how close they are want a private restroom.

I just checked into the Sonesta Downtown Columbus and I am already so impressed! From the moment I arrived, the service has been outstanding. Two front desk employees assisted me during check-in, and the entire process was quick, easy, and completely painless. One of the team members, I believe his name was Martin, stood out with his warm and personable approach. He let me know he’d be available if I had any questions and even took a moment to talk about the safety of the area, which really helped ease my mind as a solo traveler. They also have a text message service, which has made everything so pleasant and convenient—I’ve already used it a few times and each interaction has been helpful and kind. My room is spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was clearly explained to me at check-in, including how to request housekeeping or order food. So far, this has been such a smooth and welcoming stay—I’m looking forward to the rest of my time here!

Service is on point. The breakfasts were so good. I tried a variety and each was fantastic. Front desk helpful and genuine. We were upgraded and loved the size of the room. Unfortunately it could have used a bit more furniture and esthetic. It felt like they put the regular room furniture in and didn’t round it out. The tub while wonderfully large but awkward. It felt dangerous to get in and out of. The bed was great. Inexpensive daily in/out parking behind the hotel. They was great. TVs aren’t smart TV but full cable. Nicely located. Definitely visit the steak house next door for an experience.

We are local here in Columbus and booked a room for a small anniversary getaway. Brian at the front desk right from the start was amazingly friendly, generous and thorough! The wait staff and food at the restaurant was top notch and very delicious! The king loft was super cute, clean and no musty smell as mentioned in other reviews. Parking is a bit pricey, but wow! We are very very pleased with our stay and the staff here at Sonesta just on the first night! Highly recommend!

I was surprised how nice this hotel is. Sonesta isn't a brand I usually preference, but this was chosen by my employer. The room was very clean and modern. Everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were awesome. So many hotels have old flat pillows that you need 5-6 of just to equal one but at this hotel it was a normal good pillow. Slept very well and comfortable. It is obvious the hotel is under good management.

From the moment we arrived at Sonesta, we received genuine hospitality. Front desk staff member, Brian, was amazing! Our rooms were clean and attention to detail was evident. We will 100% come back and stay again!

Extremely accommodating, the front desk staff is exemplary. Plenty of cosy places to convene. Fridge in room, microwave in lobby. The food option in the hotel and within walking distance are in abundance. We took the bus, scooter, and uber to/from OSU - location is very convenient. A special shout out to Brian Dickens for his personal service and attention. We will be back!

External parts of the hotel are under construction so its difficult to find the "front entrance" of the hotel. Chose valet parking which is pricey, and we sat in line in the driveway for 20 minutes waiting to get in. But staff is very helpful. We had an issue with our refrigerator upon arrival, and someone came up within minutes to assist. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Blankets are meager, and pillows are very sturdy! Plenty of desk space and in the deluxe king, the bathroom is very roomy. Restaurant is nice with a decent variety, and comfortable atmosphere.

(long parking garage story at the end, I would still stay there.) Nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly, the property is clean, the attached restaurant is very good (although a little pricey). My one small, minor gripe was the parking situation with Chestnut Street Parking Garage (not affiliated with the hotel). You must scan the QR code to pay for parking (which is obvious), and the only directions is to pay, and not park in a reserved spot, and you have unlimited entry and exits during your stay. There are 2 lanes to enter and exit. If you scan the QR code and pay, you get a QR code to get in and out, BUT IT ONLY WORKS IN THE RIGHT LANE. I had to call the help line at the box, and they let me out "this time", but to use the right lane only. It wasn't indicated anywhere. (parking garage isn't connected to the hotel in anyway, as far as I can tell. I'd stay there again.)

The Columbus Museum of Art offers a diverse range of attractions, including permanent and traveling art collections, an American cafe, and a gift shop. The museum also features kid-friendly activities like the Open Studio and thought-provoking exhibits such as Queer/Modern showcasing works by early 20th-century LGBTQ+ artists. Located on The Ohio State University's campus, visitors can explore The Wex, a creative lab and contemporary art gallery hosting innovative exhibitions like Meditation Ocean.
This is a really special place and I wish I’d had more time. The merger of the original building with new wings - so common in American museums - is really well done. The interior atrium and outside spaces are striking counterpoints to the galleries. I loved learning more about Ohioan artists. Didn’t get to try to cafe. Needed 3 hours, minimum. Glad for my 55 minutes!
Kate L — Google review
The Columbus Museum of Art is a nice spot to spend a relaxing afternoon, especially since admission is free on Sundays—which is a great bonus. There’s also free parking just across the street behind the building, which makes visiting super convenient. That said, I was slightly disappointed with the overall experience. While there were a few standout exhibits that really captured my attention, much of the artwork felt repetitive and lacked variety. I was hoping for a more diverse and engaging collection. Still, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area—especially on a Sunday when it won’t cost you anything.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at the museum. Getting there was straightforward, we just happened to accidentally miss the entrance and go to the top. It's nicely laid out with a ton of space to explore! We finished one spot and thought we were nearly done, but there were 3 more sections left for us. I enjoyed the exhibits and learned a lot about Ohio history. The attendants were helpful and the map was straightforward. I do wish there was a better sign that upstairs is mostly empty. We thought we had more to explore and we were unfortunately unable to visit the gift shop because their wifi was gone. In all it's a fun experience that I recommend people check out if they have the time.

Beautiful building with so many awesome pieces of artwork. It has lovely garden and seating area with a restaurant serving some of the most delicious food I have ever had. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are able to fill you in on the artists. We loved the Columbus Art museum and will definitely come visit again in the future. We got to celebrate Margaret M. Walter wings 10 year anniversary, maybe we will make it a point to go back for the 20th.

The Columbus Museum of Art is a space that surprises and soothes at the same time. Each gallery feels like a conversation between color, form, and emotion — from the bold pop-art numbers to the soft folds of sculptural pink, every piece invites you to pause and reflect. One work declared, “You can’t hurt me, ’cause storms can’t hurt the sky,” — a line that lingered long after I left, reminding me how art can turn pain into peace. The museum’s bright glass installation rises like a celebration of imagination, while smaller works — a violin surrounded by currency, a figure wrapped in crochet and childhood memories — speak quietly about identity, value, and memory. After exploring, I stopped by the museum café for a delicious latte, the perfect way to sit, reflect, and watch the light pour through the windows. It’s the kind of place that fills you — not just visually, but spiritually. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit in Columbus for anyone who loves art, design, or just a good cup of coffee in a beautiful space.

I didn't visit the bulk of the museum (yet), but we saw the Capbell Quartet perform a Halloween show with the Candlelight Symphony concert series & had a great time. I definitely intend to come back for a regular visit to see the rest of the museum, but this concert space was intimate & nice, staff was very friendly & we were pleasantly surprised that parking for this event was free. The quartet were incredibly talented & very personable as well.

A nice museum that isn’t too large to cover all in one visit. An array of work spanning different artistic periods. Mostly one of each of the artists you’d recognize (Hopper, Rockwell, the usual…) It wasn’t overly crowded either, which was nice. Enjoyed a specific exhibit: Ming Smith - August Moon, which was beautiful and a lovely nod to the words of August Wilson.

Very peaceful and overall design of the building is very beautiful. The A/C is set to a comfortable temperature as I glanced over the creations of master pieces created to take your mind to places where the eye can’t.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved my stay here! The rooms were incredibly clean, spacious, and comfortable—honestly one of the best setups I’ve seen in this price range. The service was outstanding from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. But let’s talk about the food—wow. The Indian fried bread was next-level delicious, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. And don’t even think about skipping the wings—they were seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back!

Sheraton Suites Columbus Worthington offers the essentials for a comfortable stay, with a lobby and staff that are both welcoming and pleasant. However, the rooms reflect the hotel's age, with older TVs that lack smart features and some quirks—like the volume that doesn’t go below ten. Hallway carpets and window fixtures also show signs of wear, and the finishes, such as painted window sills, feel a bit dated. If you’re just looking for a warm, dry place to stay, it’s convenient, but travelers wanting more updated amenities might consider other options. The experience overall was fine for a short visit.

Beautiful hotel, but my room was a mess. Hair all over the bathroom, sticky stuff on the floor, couldn't use the coffee machine and there was garbage and golf balls under the dresser. Only stayed one night. Bed was comfortable.
Sara A — Google review
Although the staff is very friendly, and the suite we had was clean. I am giving 3 stars for a couple reasons. There were a group of men (maybe off duty construction workers?) who drank outside right next to my car for hours. They went through 2 cases of Coors light. My car was fine when I woke up, but it was uneasy feeling to have a circle of guys getting wasted in the parking lot right next to my vehicle…. I thought for sure security would ask them to pack it up, but nobody ever did. We also got locked out of our room due to the battery dying on our door. I’m not sure how often this happens and they did respond rather quickly. The downfall is when we had to go downstairs to let them know, nobody was at the desk. I called to try to get someone to come to the front desk. But all in all, is stay here again for the clean rooms, friendly staff, and the suite amenities. I’m writing this review out of awareness, maybe have a better idea of what’s going on in your parking lot and be more attentive to the front desk.
Samantha Y — Google review
When I booked, I chose a room With a “bay view” however when we arrived, our room had a view of the parking lot, which is generally fine, it’s a hotel, however they charge extra for the bay view. It’s not a huge difference and probably would not be worth it to get the money back, but it is worth noting. I also prepaid for my room, and when I arrived was asked to put down a $100 deposit for “incidentals,” and was told that I would get that money back, however I have not gotten any money back. That means this room has cost me almost $250, and it is not worth it. I would’ve chosen somewhere else if I knew it was going to be like this. The lady who checked us in was friendly and the room appeared clean. The hallways and the room had a bit of a dingy smell. The towels also smelled like mildew and the bedside light was broken. When I went to turn it on it just fell out. I just expected more for the price.
Zoey — Google review
It’s a deceiving hotel, the outside and lobby look remodeled and shiny but when you step out of the elevator the carpets in the halls were old and stained. It was disappointing. the room we stayed in had a broken door in the bathroom-it partially opened and paint chipped on every door and the tables. windows were old and looked like they hadn’t been clean in a while. Stains on the carpets and couch. The beds were clean, TVs in every room, and the pools were nice, cold but it was hot enough outside it was bearable. The folks working there were kind and helpful. It’s an old hotel and it looks rundown, not terrible for the price but I wouldn’t comeback. Oh and while going to check out the elevators were out of service and we had to bring our bags and kids down six flights of stairs.
Diana H — Google review
So I'm giving a 2 Star because they nickel and dime the breakfast. It says it's supposed to be free and yet if you bring your kids down they instantly haggle you about their age which mine are nine and three, and then I had to actually buy another $25 card for breakfast for one day because my other child started grabbing things for breakfast attendant, I don't know if she was owner, she is the one with the accent. That's type of behavior ruins somebody's vacation. Running a breakfast table like a dictator. Other than that, the rooms are nice but just like anywhere else, I mean I could have stayed somewhere else and not been haggled..

We stayed at a hotel down the street but it didnt offer the amenities and service Sheraton did. We had a WONDERFUL server in the lounge/restaurant. Nadja felt like an old friend and made valuable suggestions and was happy to accommodate any palette. She is an absolute treasure! We hope she is there when we come back next year. Food and selection was great!

My stay here was good. I came into town for something at the Supreme Court, so the location was perfect. Phallyn at the bar was great! She was very personable and friendly and made a great salad suggestion. I was very pleased with my salad and cocktails. My only complaint is that the bathroom sink in my room didn't have any hot water. Just cold. 🥶

Can't control the climate. Couldn't even sleep. Front desk just advised you there is no A/C and to turn the system off! For over $300 leave more then 2 towels for guests! Maybe some lotion and conditioner even though it's cheap, it would have been better than waiting. Also had a decent view.$$$$.....too bad they don't have their windows cleaned😠Breakfast was absolutely horrible and we froze! No server. Never again!!!!!! Does not deserve a 4 star rating by far! The only positive encounter was the bed. Super comfy. Be better or lose guests. Clean your windows!!!! Turn up the heat for breakfast!!!

Worst customer service I’ve ever had at a hotel. Room was a hot mess. Only 1 electrical outlet worked, bathroom was filthy. Was promised a pullout sofa - I even called the night before to double check on this request- yet when I got there we had no pullout and zero apology- simply “that’s not the room we have available for you.” Asked for an extra paper coffee cup, 5 times to 3 different people— each promised to send to my room except one who said he was too busy. I have never left a hotel review before— my stay was just that bad

Here are the main issues we faced: In our original room, the shower faucet was improperly installed and fell on my son, posing a serious safety risk. We immediately reported this, and the front desk moved us to another room. In the new room, we found hair in the shower, and the cleanliness was not up to standard, which we also reported. Due to rain, water was leaking from the ceiling on the 5th floor near the elevator, with a bucket placed to catch the water, which was concerning.
Milagros L — Google review
Front desk was very nice and helpful, the location was awesome. The rooms lacked quiet a bit I thought for the price, they definitely show their age but we're clean. The windows were extremely dirty outside so our view wasn't too spectacular. Good place for a clean room overall. To the reply from the business , I wasn't very clear, the rooms were clean over all. Some of the furniture and doors were a little beat up, could use restained, peeling or damaged wallpaper, caulk in the shower looked a a little gross. Couple stains on the chairs. Nothing huge obviously, just made the room feel not as nice as it was. Thank you for the response.
Kyle G — Google review
The rooms are dated and smell faintly of cigarette smoke. The furniture is not in great condition (stained, chipped/cracked). The bedsheets were stained with black and blue marks. There is only one vent in a very large room—the room does not cool well (if at all). Thankfully, they give you a box fan in the closet (at first we thought it was a nice surprise, now we understand it was a necessity). The toilet is difficult to flush and randomly makes noise throughout the day/night. The bathroom does not vent well (if at all) and remains warm and moist after a shower, letting the warmth and moistness out into the room and further exacerbating the cooling issue. There is mold all over the caulking in the shower and on the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower was disgustingly dirty (both stained and loose dirt). Parking is very inconvenient. Instead of parking in the garage attached to the hotel, you have to park in the Huntington Center parking garage next door (they do not tell you this prior to check-in and there is little signage visible from the street telling you where to park). You have to park at least on the third level down and on the weekend when we checked in, the doors to the elevators were locked so we had to walk through the garage to exit. The hotel charges $25 for parking and the 24 hour parking rate at the garage is only $20. I guess there is a $5 mark up for validating your parking to charge to your room? (EDIT TO ADD—I was charged $50 for parking by the hotel and still had to pay $16 at the garage gate to exit the garage. Parking here is a scam and you are better off paying the garage directly than having your ticket validated.) To say I was disappointed in this hotel was an understatement. I selected this hotel for a birthday celebration getaway and was embarrassed to bring the celebrant here. Thankfully, we did not need to spend much time in the hotel room. The only saving grace for this stay was that I used my points so I didn’t pay anything out of pocket, but I did waste ~100,000 points that could have been spent at a nicer hotel within the chain. To say this hotel is not worth the point level would be an understatement. We considered leaving and finding a different hotel to stay in but because the points were already spent and the holiday weekend made finding available rooms difficult, we decided to tough it out.
Michael F — Google review
This is what $330 gets you with taxes and parking. I have tried to resolve this through the Hilton app but received nothing aside from auto-replies for two weeks, so I’m bringing it here. Mold damaged, peeling wallpaper in the halls and rooms. Filthy, molded vents. Dirty mirrors at the kitchenette from previous guests using it as an extra vanity (toothpaste stuck in the sink, too). Fingerprints ground into the doors. Bathroom floors that hadn’t seen a thorough mopping in months. Even the elevators were covered in water marks and smudges. The only saving grace was that the beds were immaculately clean and comfortable. If we’d needed more than one night, we’d have asked for another room, but it was late, and we didn’t have hope that other rooms would be any better. Worst Doubletree experience I have ever had. I’ve stayed in better-maintained one-star hotels at a fraction of the price.
Tina L — Google review
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding in October. On the way down we found out that we did not have reservations. We called on the road to secure a room. While we were aware that we were not getting the group rate, we booked the room for two nights and were advised over the phone that the price was $205 for the night. That would have been fine but upon check-out we were charged $337 for the second night. The booking agent did not inform us that there would be a rate hike for the second night. While my husband has tried to get a refund the request has fallen on deaf ears. There was no discussion of the rates for the individual nights upon our arrival. The bathroom was not clean and the room was very dark. The food was seriously overpriced. I realize that there was a marathon on Sunday, but that is no cause for price gouging your guests

Situated 5.2 km from Ohio Historical Center, this 4-star hotel also provides free private parking and a shared lounge. We spent three nights at the Marriott Columbus OSU hotel and left very impressed. The service, from check-in to check-out, is exceptional. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. And the fitness room offers a lot. I would especially like to praise Angela in the M Lounge. We saw her go above and beyond with a guest who needed extra help getting breakfast and then she also went out of her way to help us the next morning, Very efficient, warm and thoughtful. The Marriott is very lucky to have her.

Hard to decide how I feel about this hotel. On one hand the rooms are really nice but there are some things that could have been better. For example, the fridges are super small so basically no point in bringing leftovers home because they won't fit. There's also no microwave so again, no point in bringing food home which feels like wasted money. Some of the lights didn't work either which was kind of annoying. The beds and things were amazing though and we had a really nice room at the end so kind of had our own easy entrance. Also, the hotel is next to this ginormous cemetery which was pretty amazing to walk through.

we were only in town for one night and only on property for 12 hours, but the stay exceeded our expectations. the property itself was beautiful and well maintained, the location felt safe and was quiet, and parking was ample even though the lot got quite full. our room was clean and comfortable - what more could you ask for? i appreciate all of the different lighting options in the rooms - love some soft ambient lighting! perhaps the best part of our stay was the service. i wish i had noted names of the staff to give them credit, but the clerk at the front desk and the server at moda both took such great care of us. after a long day of travel, we were thankful to be able to take advantage of club level offerings as well. thanks for giving us the change to rest between travel days! i would recommend this property to anyone.

Very nice hotel! Very clean and well maintained! And the room! Phenomenal! Very big and roomy! Was there for a concert at Value City Arena/Schottenstein Center. The hotel was within walking distance to the venue, which saved us from dealing with the traffic and didn't have to pay for parking! If I ever go to another event at the Center, will definitely book a room here again!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The accommodations were excellent—clean, spacious rooms with a comfortable atmosphere. Front desk lady was so nice and helpful. Location is close to OSU which I didn't know until we were headed there. Nice size suite. BED WAS AMAZING checkout needed to be late late in the day. Just wanted to enjoy that comfort. Will definitely book again. Hated the drive to get food (Longhorn and back) maybe because we were already tired but we still enjoyed the room.

Great Stay Near OSU with Excellent Service This is a great hotel in a prime location near Ohio State University. From the moment I arrived to the time I checked out, the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious corner room with M Club lounge access—definitely a nice touch! The M Club lounge was great for breakfast and light snacks throughout the day, with sodas and water available, but note that there are no evening offerings from Friday to Sunday, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel features a large, well-equipped gym and has plenty of free parking. I also appreciated the added peace of mind with overnight security. Just a heads-up: the hotel shares the building with another Marriott brand, and it can get a bit loud—especially with OSU fans and families during busy weekends. I did encounter a couple of minor cleaning issues, but the front desk team was very apologetic and handled it graciously by offering points for the inconvenience. All in all, I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Columbus!

Notably, it houses the largest private botanical garden collection of glass works by renowned artist Dale Chihuly.
What an amazing place! Came by on a warm and sunny day and were blown away by how gorgeous the grounds are. We saw staff working on stuff everywhere. As someone who has a hard time walking distances, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered an electrical scooter at no charge to help get around. The place is very large and clearly marked for what plants are where and also how to avoid staircases. Volunteers were very evident and were obviously happy to be there. Wonderful place to spend time.

I had such a wonderful visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory! The different biomes were fascinating and made the experience both serene and educational. A beautiful place to spend the day and definitely worth a return trip!

I felt the price was about $5 to high. However, we booked for 5:30 entry and it was still daylight and have to have the children home at a certain time so they didn’t get to see the cool stuff come to life til we left. I understand it’s a wedding venue as I got married there at Christmas time. So we missed out on seeing the Palm house. Not spooky at all. Great for kids of all ages. Just wish the prices were lower so even the kids that come from low income families could enjoy it too.

My Granddaughter and her Fiancée were just Married here 11-8-25. The Franklin Park Conservatory is absolutely Beautiful for a wedding. Beautiful plants, Blown glass art, the people setting up, everything was perfect. The grounds are gorgeous for pictures, and just to walk around see topiary, plants, trees. Gorgeous place to visit, take pictures to take with family, etc.

We went to Pumpkins A'glow prior to Halloween as our first visit to the conservatory. Our family enjoyed the everything inside and out. The detail and variety was amazing. We will definitely be going back for more events.

This was a great little excursion while in Columbus. The Flora is beautiful and the chihuli glass is incredible. It doesn’t take up your whole day to tour and I was happy with the amount to see.

Planetarium
Located in Columbus, Ohio, the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) is a top science museum offering interactive exhibits, working labs, planetarium shows, and a variety of hands-on science exhibits covering themes like Oceans, Gadgets, and Energy. The museum also features a Little Kidspace for younger children and a permanent American Museum of Natural History Dinosaur Gallery. Visitors can enjoy dining at the on-site cafe and restaurant or shop at the gift shop.
There are many exhibits to explore. The dinosaur & shark exhibits were great to see, as they had life size models on display & it was very informative. The Ocean exhibit was fun because you can go into a real submarine & there is an interactive water room. One of the best things about the museum is how many hands on things there are to do. It's definitely a great place for all ages.

The visit was amazing! We visited for the Unofficial Galaxies event since we are huge Star Wars fans. The event was spectacular with a ton of really insane exhibits that were mostly fan made. We were absolutely thrilled to see all of the handmade items and pieces from the films. We recommend buying tickets in advance. Also the military discount here is only $2 but still worth it.

Pixar was worth it for us. Our kids from 8-16 had a blast getting drawn into the animation process for at least 90 minutes then spent another couple of hours exploring, playing and creating. The older kids had been to Cosi before but had a genuinely good time taking it all in again, they also thoroughly enjoyed shocking each other in the energy section. Even some of the discovery and play areas were surprisingly fun and interesting.
Ryan S — Google review
Coming from out of town, looking to kill some time, it did not disappoint!Cool science center. There were tons of day camp kids running wild, but that can be expected on a weekday morning in the summer. Very cool hands on stuff for kids. The natural history exhibits were cool, along with the Town of Progress exhibit. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Columbus area.
Noah S — Google review
I don’t see many reviews talking about amazing the little kids area upstairs is! 1st grade and under I believe was the age range. My kiddos will spend hours just in that area alone. Dramatic play , water play, art room, wooden train /soft play, and play construction vehicles . Find on street parking for a cheaper rate than the garage.
Libby W — Google review
Wow! Just a beautiful place to take the family. The exhibits are amazing. Every time we go the Dinosaur exhibit just keeps on expanding. Just truly an amazing place and I myself learn so much. Highly recommend going especially when they change out the featured exhibits.
Chris D — Google review
This place is so worth it. For only $30 bucks we got over 3 hours of fun and useful information about the world we live in. We visited the planetarium twice for two films that were incredible and at no extra charge. You definitely can make a whole days worth out of this museum. I also enjoyed that it’s not only child oriented but also includes stuff for adults to do. Also don’t forget to check out the shows they do during the day. We got to see rats play basketball! My one and only complaint about this place is I wish there were more cool shirts in the gift shop for adults! (All the cool ones are for the kids)
Finn H — Google review
I finally made it here after knowing about it for more than 20 years and it was totally worth it. I teared up a little when I first walked i to the dinosaur room. Seriously so amazing to see. And I was in awe of the beauty in the Poseidon room. I think that might have been my favorite. An incredible experience for sure. Absolutely worth a visit!

North Market Downtown is a covered farmers' market offering a wide array of products such as flowers, produce, and handicrafts. It's also a hub for global dining options with influences from various countries like Somalia, El Salvador, Mexico, Yemen, and Vietnam. The market features over 30 vendors including butchers, bakers, grocers, and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy farm-to-table fare and innovative dishes created by talented chefs.
Definitely the best market in cbus! You can get food and goods from many different cultures like African, Italian, polish, French, Chinese, etc. The noodle bar is fantastic, great local honey, and a pretty expansive wine and beer store. Great vibes and pleasant people all around
Amelia S — Google review
I have visited north market to get some dinner when I was in Columbus. I went there twice actually. They have a variety of food options to consider including Jeni’s ice cream! I got some pizza and some ice cream during one visit and enjoyed the food! Specifically the ice cream! On my next visit, I got food from Hoyo’s and it was very tasty too! There is an eating area one floor above with lots of chairs and tables. It closes at 7 PM (when I went there in August), so I had to check the timing a little carefully. It was easily accessible from my hotel by walk.

What a fantastic place! So much good food! A lovely jewelry vendor, flowers, oils, cheese! Was our first time visiting and we will be back. Nice and close parking garage. Be sure to get your receipt for parking garage from the vendor you buy from. This is good for one hour of parking. Highly recommend North Market for a bite to eat and some local shopping.
Mary C — Google review
If I could leave a higher rating i definitely would. I went there with my boyfriend for the first time and my eyes immediately lit up! The food looked absolutely amazing, the pricing was way better than I had expected. The wait time for the food wasn’t nearly as long as I had anticipated. I will definitely be going back as many times as I’m able! I recommend the Birria tacos, 3 tacos for $14! As a bonus you are able to sit and overlook the whole place!

First time here; quaint little place downtown. Great for new finds of food, coffees, oils / spices, desserts. Has a variety of cuisines, there is something for everyone. Seating indoor and outdoor, perfect for a lazy weekend or to meet with friends. Parking validation offered from one of the vendors I purchased from but didn’t accept when leaving garage. This would be the only downside - which could have been a fluke. Can’t wait to go back!

Neat place. Lots of variety. Lines weren’t too long during lunch. Loved the upstairs seating. Would have liked napkins there too.

North Market in Columbus is a foodie paradise with an amazing array of flavors and cuisines! From coffee to Italian, pho, ramen, Mexican, Indian, African, Mediterranean, and even oysters, there's something for everyone. Just a heads-up: it closes at 5 PM on Mondays, so plan accordingly! The air-conditioned space was a blessing on a hot day, although shopping options for gifts were limited—except for a great card store. I was bummed that Foxes Bagels was closed, as I've heard great things! Overall, a vibrant spot worth exploring! 🌟

In downtown Columbus, this convention center is one of the famous attractions along with other landmarks like the Greek Orthodox Cathedral. This was such an amazing experience. We had the NHSA convention this year at this location and it was a wonderful experience full of other professionals in the field. The halls are well explained with signs everywhere and digital maps and information spots. The food in the food court was pretty good and the vibes were very friendly. We love staying here. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is AMAZING. The people at the front desk and bar area are sooooo kind. We had such pleasant interactions with them. Christine shocked me when she remembered my family and I from our last stay! My kids called her their friend and loved how great every front desk member was with them!

Chose this 4 star hotel based on reviews when booking through Chase. The property looks good from the outside and the lobby and atrium is beautiful. We stayed in 615 and immediately smelt musty upon entrance and we were unable to get fresh air as the windows are screwed shut. Upon arrival at 4pm, the hallway had dirty dishes and our room had mustard and ketchup bottles outside our door. We stayed for one night left at 11:30pm and they never were picked up, still there when we left. Our bathroom had a soft spot just above your head, as if it was going to fall. The bathroom vent did not work making it super hot after a shower. One of the lamps was duct taped. The pool was better than the pictures, as there was an indoor section with a rock waterfall and a connected outside pool. Cool water inside and warm water outside but as we were swimming the water had black stuff all through it. Needless to say that it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Next time staying in the area, probably won’t choose to stay here.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, my room was big, clean and I felt safe traveling by myself. There was a $5 night parking fee, which was worth it as it seems other hotels in the area have issues with car break ins. My car was fine and the lot was well lighted. The breakfast was wonderful with several great options. And the managers reception in the evening was wonderful too! They gave me bottles of water at check in and said to come for more as needed. I ordered dinner from the bar two nights and both times a salad. Once with the added chicken and once with the salmon. Both were good but the salmon was amazing! It is in a quiet and safe area and very close to things I needed. If I am ever back in Columbus this is where I will stay. Thank you!

Room was okay. Very dated but somewhat clean. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. We mainly booked this hotel because they offered an indoor and outdoor pool. You couldn’t see two feet into the water because it was so cloudy. There were pieces of debris in the pool and bugs. There were kids who were unattended EVERYWHERE. The room card only worked sometimes. The breakfast was not good at all.
Megan D — Google review
Two things about this hotel you should know. #1. The water was not even close to being hot for my morning shower. Waited 10 min with the water running to see if it would warm up. It didn't #2. They charged a $150 deposit and didnt inform me of the amount. Im used to 50 or even 100 deposit. But 150 is a bit steep. It was actually more then the room itself. They claim its released the next day, but I won't see that back on my account for 5 to 7 days. Unfortunately this will affect my travel negatively.
Michael H — Google review
Stayed here with my husband and two toddlers when we spent the night for a family vacation. Cristine at the front desk was so great! She was friendly and extremely helpful. She knew the area very well, and gave us great recommendations on places to take the kids to burn off some energy from our long car ride. She was so sweet and interacted with our kids well! The only caveat I have is that it was a little confusing to find the hotel and the shower did not get hot. Other than that, everything was great!
Kaitlyn L — Google review
Clean and spacious. The rooms were nice and clean, and it was nice having a living room in my room. The only thing I would like more would have been hotter water in the shower. My wife and I both enjoyed the free breakfast. We would stay again.

The Red Roof PLUS+ Columbus Downtown - Convention Center offers compact rooms with Wi-Fi, minifridges, and microwaves. Situated in the University District, it provides good value and a convenient location near the OSU campus and Value City Arena. The hotel is within walking distance to casual dining options and features a courtyard with a fire pit for relaxation. Additionally, it is close to Ohio State University, Ohio Stadium, and Jack Nicklaus Museum.
Clean, comfortable, and quiet room with a mini-fridge and microwave — exactly what we were looking for. One big plus is that they don’t charge for one pet, which is great for travelers like us. That said, they do nickel-and-dime you a bit with extra fees: $19 per day for parking and $3 per day for the in-room safe, even if you don’t use it. If you’re looking to stay downtown, this is definitely a no-frills option, but it’s hard to beat for the price. Even with the extra fees, we’d absolutely stay here again. It’s one of the best deals in Columbus with easy access to everything going on downtown and in a seemingly secure area.

Room was clean and accommodating. Staff was friendly, check-in was quick. Was just minutes away from the Woodlands Tavern where I went to see a show. Parking is across the street which isn’t ideal, but overall easy access and in/out privileges. While I did not need to utilize, there and many restaurants within walking distance including one basically on the property. I do have 2 small complaints. 1) There was only decaf coffee in the room and front desk had to search for regular. 2) Red Roof used to put small travel size tissue packs in room. There were none, which left having to use tp. But I recommend this location.
Bob G — Google review
Great place to stay if walking to the arena. Easy walk. Parking is a little tricky if you have never used it. Having the tavern right there made it easy to get food and drink. Room was comfy, water was hot and had pressure. The coffee machine in lobby didn't work so got an empty cup. Elevator was fast. Not lots of room in shower and the curtains aren't lined so water got on floor. Overall it was acceptable.

Stayed for lost lands! Overall good stay, comfy bed, wish they had breakfast and my bathtub got clogged and would continue to rise until I stopped showering. Other than that it was a nice stay and will continue to use their services for my future lost lands visits! Also very accommodating staff!!

I am not a picky hotel person. I have always said if it’s a safe place to sleep, i’ll deal with the cons. This place? Nope. I’m almost tempted to ask for a refund due to the aggressive stink of this place messing with my asthma. The moment we entered our room, the smell was seriously nauseating. It is so clear the maid didn’t clean it whatsoever. There was trash and even clothes underneath the bed. And my worst nightmare happened when i flipped the bed skirt over and found very obvious male “material” on the bed i JUST SLEPT IN. This place is disgusting. And i do not say that lightly. I stayed at a hotel the night before that was the exact same price, a budget hotel, and was nothing even close to how bad this one was. I’m still coughing from the smoke and smell of dog pee over an hour after checking out. Stay AWAY from this place. EDIT: I noticed later that day that i started getting these weird rashes on my arms. I don’t know if they don’t wash their sheets or what- but my skin randomly broke out after staying here. I got scared for a moment that i had contracted ring worm somehow but they were thankfully just rashes. I reiterate- stay somewhere else.

Enjoying a comfortable stay in a contemporary hotel with river views, the AC Hotel by Marriott Columbus Dublin offers guests tasty tapas and cocktails as well as a rooftop bar with Spanish-style breakfast every morning. Spacious rooms offer glimpses of the cityscape, while floor-to-ceiling windows let you take in all the sights and sounds of Dublin.
What a beautiful hotel! This was our first time staying here, and we very welcomed and greatly appreciated as a Bonvoy member. The manager, Ali or Abby (I can't quite remember), was exceptional and went out of her way to assist us. Additionally, the bartender at the happy hour in the lobby was very friendly and crafted an amazing cocktail. Later in the evening, we were greeted by the sweetest person, Azay, who kindly guided us to the stunning rooftop bar—a perfect way to end the night! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning!
Kisha K — Google review
First the good… Perfect location on the river. Beautiful hotel inside and out. Great mattress and very clean room (except room rug). Quiet. Lovely rooftop restaurant with decent food and very fun cocktails. Now the bad. The rug in our room was FILTHY. The disclosed pet fee was $150.00. However, this hotel added taxes to that pet fee that I’ve NEVER paid anywhere else and I travel extensively. The taxes are NOT disclosed anywhere on their website (room taxes are discussed) and those taxes added $27. Ridiculous! The taxes on the $150 included a bed tax (explain that as the dog was not provided a bed), city pet tax, county pet tax, city market fee, and sales tax.
Karen H — Google review
My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately quite disappointing. During our short stay, there were two separate fire alarms that went off back-to-back. The first one went off around 5:50 a.m., and just as we laid back down, another alarm went off around 6:15 or 6:20. It caused a lot of stress and confusion, and we ended up leaving early out of pure frustration. While the room met our needs in terms of cleanliness, it still didn’t feel comfortable overall. We also paid for a complimentary breakfast that we didn’t get to enjoy because we had to leave. When we asked for a refund, we were told the manager would need to follow up—but based on how we were treated while we were there, I doubt we’ll hear anything back. Overall, it was a stressful and unsatisfactory experience that we wouldn’t want to repeat. My husband said this will be the last time we stay at one of these. It ruined his birthday.

Location and room are great. Front desk staff, not so much. I booked a room one hour before arrival… asked for a room w a nice view. At check in They told me room 503 was great… Notta! It faces a parking garage. I’m titanium elite, so asked for a room upgrade and was told they had already put feather- less pillows in room so I didn’t qualify for an upgrade. Seriously? Hotel appears empty… no one in bar, elevators, hallways… I get stuck w a room looking East… no views at all. Paid top price as well. Also, you have a 15 minute parking allotment to check in, then the Dublin Bridge Park towing takes your car. Marriott has no authority to let you park longer than 15 min and there is no valet.
Mary B — Google review
I've stayed at other AC Hotels which are usually very minimalistic and not in a good way. This was not that. It is in the perfect location, great restaurant and bars in the hotel and around the immediate area. But the service and the room quality were outstanding.

We were there for a brief moment (5pm) to take a view prom pictures since it was raining outside. The male brown hair bartender was rude to me and all the kids. He was chasing everyone out stating we were not allowed to take pictures there. I have rented igloos at VASO. Gone to that hotel and bar many times - and have never been chased out for taking a photo. You chased out the kids - but the parents have the money and he chased out us out! I have recommended Vaso and the hotel to many friends and colleagues- but if you are going to allow your bartender to tell me to leave for attempting to take a photo. You have lost my business and all my recommendations. I will be sure to spread the word of the events that transpired today. He was rude to all of us

We felt like more than guests. Staff made us feel like family from the time we checked in. Very courteous and helpful employees! Had to do valet parking and wish that was noted when booking on booking.com, but was thankful this hotel a 10 min walk from our graduation venue and hotel allowed us to keep car in garage until ceremony ended. Which saved us time and money in the very busy downtown Columbus. Rooms were beautiful and loved our view. Very quiet and able to find amenities very easily. Great breakfast and great options for all dietary restrictions. Highly reccomend!

I stayed here during a recent business trip, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The service was top-notch from the moment I walked in—friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful staff who made everything seamless, from check-in to check-out. The location is a major highlight. Right in the heart of downtown Columbus, it was incredibly convenient for meetings, quick coffee runs, and evening walks. Tons of great restaurants and spots to unwind are within easy walking distance. The room itself was spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet for being downtown. Having a full kitchenette was a nice touch even if I mostly used it to chill bottled water. Wi-Fi was solid, and the workspace was comfortable enough to actually get things done between meetings. If you’re traveling for work and want a hassle-free, comfortable stay with great service in a central location, Residence Inn Columbus Downtown hits the mark. I’ll definitely be back.

Although this is only my fourth night out of a ten-night stay, I can honestly say it’s been a very pleasant place to rest my head. The staff has been nothing but kind, and the daily breakfast is delicious. It’s so much fun to walk into what used to be an old vault. The building, constructed in 1927, features a grand lobby with very high ceilings. I’ve received a couple of Amazon deliveries with no problem at all. The location is great for walking around, and I would highly recommend staying here. If I return for another business trip, I promise to stay here again.

Studio room on floor 5 The was different, had steps up to the room and entered into a kitchen area with a small table to eat at. Then you stepped down into a living room/bedroom area. To the right there was a step up into the bathroom area. It was a little outdated and needed some work but otherwise great value and great location for downtown.

The only negative was the thermostat in the room didn't Always stop at the set point, so the room would get too cold and I'd turn off the AC for a while. It would work properly for a while afterwards. I look forward to staying here again if I am in the area.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in Columbus, Ohio, and we were thoroughly impressed. While the hotel was on the pricier side, we found it well worth the cost for our four-night stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and felt more like a well-furnished one-bedroom apartment. We loved the full kitchen with bar stools, a full-size fridge, and a microwave. The bathroom and shower were generously sized, and the living area with a couch and desk made for an extremely comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast—it was excellent, with a great variety of options and plenty of seating. Compared to the neighboring Marriott (which charges $15 per person for breakfast), this was a major perk. A few minor drawbacks: The elevators were slow, the hallways were quite long, and parking could be a bit of a walk due to limited spaces. Additionally, while the hotel overlooks a large cemetery, this wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to be aware of. Our biggest challenge was dealing with noisy neighbors late at night. While security did respond, the noise persisted, making for a rough night before an early flight. I understand this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, however, I do wish there had been a more effective resolution. Despite that, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus. If you’re looking for comfort, great amenities, and an outstanding breakfast, this is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared with earplugs in case you get inconsiderate guests nearby!

About the best you'll get with the Residence Inn brand; newly updated, clean, nice rooms. Typical breakfast served in the morning. A good value for the time of year that I was there. Also, you have the Marriott property right next door, so additional restaurant and bar facilities to check out.

Great gym in this hotel. Shared between Marriott and Residence Inn. Plenty of parking but most is around back of building. Pleasant staff, especially breakfast staff. Comfortable rooms just like most Residence Inns

most of the time when people are staying at a hotel they are there to relax. definitely was my plan since i had a busy busy day yesterday. this morning housekeeping was knocking on my door before 9am to ask if i was checking out. woke me up out of my sleep and i already informed them i would be checking out late when i checked in yesterday. in any event. there is absolutely no reason that anyone should be knocking on my door before 9am and there is a do not disturb sign hanging and checkout isn’t even until 11! but being a gold member i have the option to stay til 2… and not to mention they come and wake you up right before breakfast is over.. so now im up before 9am and i don’t get to have complimentary breakfast. what a crappy thing to do to your guests. honestly, im disgusted. unfortunately i have discovered campus is just not a place you want to stay none of the employees care about their guests in my experience. UPDATE: just after 11, i’m finally sleeping again and GUESS WHO! the same housekeeping lady who woke me up before 9 this morning that i told out of my own mouth i was checking out at 2 knocking asking if im checking out again.. feel like im 20 again staying at a run down motel 6. i have NEVER been bothered so much by housekeeping about checking out and i stay with marriott A LOT! maybe need to have a meeting with housekeeping about harassing people who just want a restful stay at their establishment. and my do not disturb sign is absolutely still on the door. i’m appalled.

The room had a bad smell, as if no one had lived in it for years. Dust was hanging from the lights, and the refrigerator made loud noises on and off throughout the night, which was very bothersome. I would not come back again.

I live in Michigan, I'm on assignment in OH for the next few months , the Residence Inn has made my time away from home more tolerable....the hotel is great, the customer service is excellent, they have all the amenities I need being away from home.

Hotel is very nice, especially for a residence inn. Only part that was very odd to me, and has never happened at a hotel before for me, was we had the cleaning staff knock on our door at 930 AM asking if we were checking out soon. I had late checkout already and didn't end up using it, but thought it was rather odd got very caught off guard. Would recommend staff get updated checkout rooms/status as this was kind of awkward and felt like we were getting kicked out.

The Junto is a trendy hotel with a rooftop bar, stylish lounge, and casual restaurant. The hotel believes in immersing guests in the local culture through food and drinks. Guests can enjoy breakfast at Maudines or sip cocktails at The Trade Room while relaxing by the fireside library. The neighborhood rooftop bar, Brass Eye, offers stunning downtown views. With its warm and inviting design, The Junto stands out as a top lifestyle hotel.
I stayed here from September 18th through September 21st for Lost Lands 2025. I had originally messed up when I purchased the rooms for the Hotel. I made a reservation from the 19th through the 21st, then realized a month or so later that I needed to be there on the 18th to make it for the show on the 19th. I made another reservation, so had two different rooms for this trip. I had missed my flight from Chicago to Columbus the day of the 18th, but called the Hotel to let them know I'd be arriving after Midnight and would be there after hours. I arrived around 1:00 a.m., exhausted out of my mind after all the headache's of the flight mischedule, and found a Gentleman, Anthony, at the front desk, knowing full well my situation and had me in my Hotel room shortly after. I knew they had Checkout at Noon, and Check-in for another Hotel room wasn't till 4:00 p.m., so I had expected to Checkout and explore Columbus after the horrible night before, but when I go to checkout at 11:55 a.m. Friday Morning, Anthony was at the desk, and without even bothering to ask, he already had me checked in to my other Hotel room! This Hotel is located across from the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) museum, which I never did go into, but looked amazing. They also offer a Rooftop Bar, which I also never got to experience. I do smoke cigarettes, so simply went outside and walked around the blocks. The area is absolutely beautiful and being renovated still currently, (Do not look at Google Street View, it does not show how this area looks currently). I would highly recommend this Hotel for any reason. If you are attending Lost Lands, just be warned, it's about a mile walk to, and from, the Shuttle Buses, but the Hotel is worth every penny. Thank you once again to Anthony for being the amazing person he is, and helping me through my trip.

SUPER cool boutique hotel with a great vibe! We swung in midway on our road trip from NC to Chicago and we're so glad we did! The furnishings are beautiful and the various spaces are inviting. We loved the multiple bar options and the gear closet. Our room was inviting, spacious, ultra comfortable, and squeaky clean. The staff is great and the location is across the street from the history museum and a gorgeous park. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is beautiful, but my experience was frustrating from start to finish. First, they charged me a credit card recovery fee that was quite costly. Yes, it was technically in the contract—but it was buried in the fine print so you wouldn’t notice it. I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never once been charged this type of fee. To make matters worse, it wasn’t even shown on my receipt; I only found out after the fact. On top of that, we were not given the upgraded room we were promised. After one night, the staff told us we could repack all of our things, move, and unpack again to get into the room we had reserved from the beginning. That is completely unreasonable—especially since it was their fault for overbooking. At the very least, they should have offered a discount for their mistake, but they didn’t. We also paid extra for a special meeting room, which should have been ready for us, but instead we had to go to the front desk and demand access to the room we had already arranged and paid for. This hotel might look nice, but between the hidden costs, misleading practices, and lack of accountability, I would never stay here again—even if it was free. Columbus has many beautiful hotels—do yourself a favor and pick another one.

Was a great boutique hotel. Room was cofortable with a great bathroom. Lobby was a great place to hang and the foid was delicious. Nice restarant built with entrance to the hotel and the roof bar was a nice end of the day. Close to the University and a park right across the street and a 2 min walk to the Science center.

We had an amazing stay, however my review will share some warnings and concerns to be aware of! -- My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We booked the Artist's suite, which online will show comes with a large shower and tub. WARNING: This is not a guarantee. I really do hope the website adjusts this because it was disappointing initially and felt like false advertising. There is an upcharge to get the tub and shower despite the website showing that image as the only option. Even if the website were changed to show the two bathroom options with a note that the shower and tub are request only with an upcharge I would have felt fine about the initial room we received. LUCKILY the staff was able to fix it! We are beyond thankful to Drew, the manager who helped get us the room with a huge shower and tub. We were so happy and it really made our weekend spectacular. I hope they change the website because I imagine staff has to deal with the headache of unhappy guests frequently feeling swindled. Drew I am sorry for how often this probably happens, I hope they can fix it in the future!! -- We did have an issue with the HVAC only working in the bedroom section of the room but we went to the front desk the next morning after check in and they fixed it promptly. We left around 9 am and when we were back around 1 pm it was fixed; however, I doubt it took that entire time. The hotel was fully booked and there was a wedding going on that my husband and I had nothing to do with so I am guessing that they had housekeeping working double time and that the HVAC concern just got missed. We appreciated the quick and prompt addressing of concerns despite how busy the weekend was. -- On the second day of our trip we went to pick up our car and we arrived as the valet was exiting the car. My husband told the valet that it was our car and the valet just handed us the keys without checking our room number or name. I am thinking they may have recognized us but it was a little concerning to me. The first night our car was parked my husband received a notification on his phone from our car app that the car was left unlocked. Luckily we can lock our car remotely from our phones. It was incredibly packed the night we arrived so we think maybe it just got overlooked. Our key also has a feature that allows you to unlock the handle by touching it if you are holding the key, so the valet may have went to touch the handle to check it was locked and inadvertently unlocked it. I just share these things because there may be a need to review the quality assurance of the valet especially with the high price point. We were very happy with how quick valet services were though!! Sometimes it only took 5 minutes to receive our car. This was helpful for when we had reservations and needed to get places within a small window of time. We have stayed at other hotels where valet took forever and stressed us out. If you are thinking of staying at this hotel I wouldn't overly worry about valet I just am sharing because of caution.

AC Hotel Columbus Downtown, OH is an upscale hotel with modern and clean rooms and suites. It offers a fitness center, free WiFi, and a shared lounge. The 172 rooms are equipped with amenities such as flat-screen TVs and coffee/tea makers. Guests can enjoy American and Spanish cuisine at the restaurant or have cocktails at the bar. The rooftop cafe/bar provides a scenic view of the city. The hotel also features meeting rooms on the top floor and offers excellent service from friendly staff members.
Location is great right by North Market and Short North. The staff was great and helpful. Comfortable beds, spacious room, plugs by mirror for curling hair. Nice showers and he room was quiet for sleeping. The rooftop bar an added plus!

This is a pretty new and well-appointed hotel. The guest rooms are very nice and suites are readily available if you have status. It was quiet in general although we were woken up in the morning by the sounds of people above us. If you know the AC brand you know that these are supposed to be European-style hotels, and it does feel that way. The main issue with this hotel is that it's valet parking only. This is kind of ridiculous, because the only lot is small and directly adjacent to the hotel- the furthest spot is maybe a couple hundred feet from the door. I don't mind being charged for parking, but the rates are over the top and I don't want to be forced to valet. You'll be much better off paying at the lot across the street or any other lot directly adjacent to the hotel.
J. E — Google review
The AC Hotel in downtown Columbus is in an excellent location near the Arena district. Also very close to High Street/Short North restaurants and shops. Very walkable to explore many types of experiences. Goodale Park is very close and provides some activity there. The hotel itself is a mixed result. Rooms are clean with furniture and the beds are okay. Service personnel are friendly enough. The roof top area is being renovated for a restaurant/bar. The fitness area is good but the air conditioning is not working, no signage about this. Usual explanation of working on it. The lobby is very small and not welcoming. please check your bill for parking if you are not using the valet service. Hotels, so often, add the charge. Again we did not use valet yet the charge was added. SOP and that is frustrating since many people don't check and probably just go along with it. The valet, like many places in Columbus, is operated by a third party entity.

underwhelmed, stayed here 2 nights. didnt get any turn down service/my room refreshed even though I called in the morning & specifically requested it…came back in the evening to my room not even being touched so I had to wait til about 7pm for that to be done. (younger guy at the front desk was nice earlier in the day) extremely loud banging and noise each morning to the point where it was unbearable. was told by another associate that it was from the gym…why place guests in a room where you know it will blatantly disrupt sleep? The lobby is nice but as far as the rooms, the service upon check in (which was dry and rude from the older male in a grey suit) & the noise.. I have had better experiences and better rooms at lower tier hotels. They need to step it up, feel like my money was wasted for sure

Location is fire, rooms are decent, the shower flow is lackluster, the air conditioning is eh, the new astra restaurant is nice but small area. It’s nice. The best is how close all the good shops are.

We stayed here so we could easily walk to the concert at the nearby arena. Location was great, although parking is expensive. The sliding bathroom door is weird, it doesn't really close all the way and sometimes gets stuck. Don't bother with the breakfast at the hotel. For less money you can walk across the street to North Market and get great coffee, bagels, baked goods, etc.
Jennifer C — Google review
The property is at a great location close to the convention center and all the restaurants on high street. The building seems to be fairly new or renovated, and looks very modern. However, it appears that the current management tried to check every box but fell short in many areas. The interiors of rooms seem flimsy and cheap. The AC unit was inside a closet in my room and when it was on, it shook the whole room. I had to sleep with the AC set to a higher temperature to keep it from running too often. The large showerhead in the bathroom scattered water all over, and seemed to be cheaply made and of poor quality. The breakfast is probably the worst and most overpriced along all Marriott properties I have stayed at. For $21, you got one cold egg, a few pieces of cheese and meat, some cereal and bread and all carbs. There was no hot breakfast like scrambled eggs or omelettes for that price. The staff is very attentive and respectful. It just seems that the management is trying to cut corners and the hotel does not stand up to Marriott standards.
Kunal K — Google review
The reason I chose this place was because of its location, not having to park in an unguarded lot/garage, and the restaurant. The location is great for music and events. I walked to my event and it was no problem. The valet parking made me feel a lot better since there was always going to be someone in theory there to watch over the lot. The hotel is ok at the most. Its pretty but it seems like the room furnishings were more about style than comfort and pragmatism. The bed was way too firm, the couch was so uncomfortable (no headrests?), the toilet paper was the cheapest one ply you can find, the sink is so flat barely anything gets washed down. The all you can eat breakfast is definitely not worth the 20 bucks. The only thing you can get there that you cant at a free complementary breakfast at a cheaper hotel is real eggs. And finally, my biggest regret, I never got to eat at the damn restaurant. All I wanted was to try the steak coulette and I didnt get the chance. The restaurant can be bought out for the night for private groups so the entire hotel is screwed over which is what happened my first night. The second night I missed the kitchen closing by 7 minutes because of my event. So I just went through what the hotel had in their store which was not a great selection of anything remotely hearty. Ive been to a lot cheaper hotels with more substantive selections. I enjoyed the overhead shower and the complementary toiletries. The TV selection was top notch though. Cable and a lot of streaming services. The staff was great. I was there Saturday and Sunday nights and didnt hear any club noise like others have complained about. Mainly due to how uncomfortable I was, I couldnt wait to get out of there and go home. It was not worth the money, imo.

Fine dining restaurant
Lindey's is an elegant, old-school venue located in the charming German Village. The restaurant offers a sophisticated American surf 'n' turf menu and features a remarkable patio that exudes romance and tranquility. Nestled in historic surroundings, the patio provides an oasis-like ambiance with umbrella-ed tables, a soothing fountain, and attentive service. It's an ideal spot for both long-time couples and new romances to enjoy a special occasion or a quick getaway.
I'm SO happy we got to dine at Lindey's on this trip. Final night in Columbus, and this was the perfect ending. Super fun atmosphere that is equal parts classic and modern. Service, from hostess to server, to bussers, was as good as it gets. Our server, Lisa, was fabulous! Intuitive, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. The food was all perfect. Gorgeous and delicious, we enjoyed everything! Cocktails were great, and the wine list isn't extensive, but it's really good. Plenty of wines by the glass are offered. This was easily our favorite dining experience in Columbus. Cannot recommend more highly!

Easily my favorite place in Columbus since moving here in February. The vibe in here is so great & the people are even better! My boyfriend & I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after being recommended this place by multiple friends. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We made a reservation and while we wanted to check out the patio, the weather was not on our side but inside is still BEAUTIFUL! The food and drinks were unmatched. The atmosphere is chill & the perfect place to spend a date night. Our waitress Elena was INCREDIBLE! She was so sweet & attentive. Even brought us an anniversary toast on the house. We will absolutely be back. Try the Lindey’s Peach Bellini, Tropical Mule, Lindey’s Burger, and Shrimp Angel hair — You won’t regret it. Even the sourdough bread is to die for!!

This is my favorite restaurant in Columbus, and one of my favorite restaurants in general. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to come here ever since I was young. Located in the heart of German Village, this place encapsulates the gold standard of what every restaurant should be. The atmosphere, which in my opinion, is the most memorable part of the restaurant experience, is 10/10. The patio is absolutely beautiful with a multi layered coy pond, an upstairs terrace, and outdoor bar, and more. The inside is the same with beautiful upholstery, impeccable white table cloth service, and perfect lighting. The service is always 10/10 no matter who it is. Everyone knowledgeable, happy to assist, and all work as a team to provide the best experience to all guests. He food is always great, with semi-reasonable prices and always different specials. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place and hope it sticks around for the long run.

We had an incredible dinner with excellent service from Adison. Support staff was wonderful and organized, and the managers were prompt and kind. This is one of my favorite places in Ohio. The ambiance is charming. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. We usually start with a cocktail before moving on to the Carpaccio which I highly recommend. On this day we tried the arancini for the first time and thought it was tasty. For our entre we had steak and lamb chops and they do not disappoint. I go here once a year and I will try to continue this tradition. The staff is great. Madisson waited on us and she was excellent. 10/10.

The visible kitchens and bakeries reflect their belief in transparency in food preparation. Their diverse menu offers something for everyone, with standout dishes like ricotta pancakes.
I was visiting from out of town for a conference and my friend and I came for dinner. The manager, Gabe was very warm and inviting to us. We ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich and Pimiento burger w/sweet potato fries. Gabe even let us try the the Northstar burger since it was our first time there! The food was simply delicious & the house ginger ale is amazing!!! Beautiful, comfortable ambiance. We didn’t have drinks other than the house ale, but they have a full bar with wine and cocktails that looks well stocked! A must try! 👍🏽😍

Ok, I got a cheeseburger which was very good. The atmosphere was fine, we had a large party of 9 which really didn’t work that well. You set yourself, you get your drinks yourself, you don’t refer and pay at the register. Ask for napkins they said it came with the silverware and that’s all you get. We had to use multiple extra sets of silverware. They only have sweet potato fries which I didn’t care for at all. The staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. When you paid you selected a tip amount even though you just stood in line to order and you really don’t have help except to remove dishes. I am normally a strong 20-25% tipper, with service, but the minimum was 15% and that was way too much for this place. Won’t be back, there are better options available.

In town visiting for work and came across the Northstar Cafe. Quick service - even with a number of customers arriving at the same time. My order was taken promptly, and some personal recommendations provided by the server. Seated outside, great atmosphere both inside and outside. Ended up with the chicken and avocado sandwich which was delicious. For a drink I had the shooting star. When traveling for work I try to find any opportunity to maximize healthy options. Really great meal, friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Great for breakfast and lunch. The avocado chicken sandwich is great with a finely toasted bun. Nice outdoor sitting area with heaters, which make sitting outside blissful. Very clean inside and outside. The staff are particularly careful about cleanliness of mugs and silverware. We saw them checking and changing three mugs before handing us one that did not have any spots on it. They are also careful to not touch inside the mugs. And the best of all, we noticed some items in the menu and ingredients staff use are organic. What better than having organic food at reasonable price. This place left a good memory of Columbus for us. I wish them a booming business for their quality work and service.

Absolutely amazing establishment. All staff was friendly and helpful. I had a few questions on ingredients and they were able to explain everything as I needed! The shooting star drink is OUT OF THIS WORLD, DELICIOUS. The fish sandwich was fresh and warm! The northstar burger was one of the best restaurant vegetarian burgers I’ve ever had. So full of flavor! The kale slaw on top was absolutely delicious! Beverages are self serve!

Came here for Sunday morning brunch. It was a fantastic spot. Ordering was a little different than most places as you get in line to order your food, then find a table for yourself, and the servers bring out your food once it’s ready. I had the sweet potato and turkey hash, oats all the way, and draft kombucha. Everything was very tasty and delicious. The place has a nice atmosphere with the large windows and sunlight shining in. Friendly and warm staff. Lots of parking with side streets and parking garage right next to the cafe.

Visited here for the Matt Rife comedy show. Everything was amazing! Restrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. I really liked that for this show they had special cocktails for purchase. Unsure if it is a "Nationwide Arena thing" or a "Matt Rife thing".. but loved it. I've been to tons of arenas and I've never seen anything besides the basic white claw, beer, etc. All the people working the show were helpful + kind. I REALLY enjoyed connecting with the young lady at the staircase heading to the floor section. She was such a bright light and a joy to connect too. All in all --> I'd recommend this arena and will be booking future shows + concerts here.

My wife and I saw Reneé Rapp on her Bite Me tour here. The venue was easy to find and easy to enter. We used a nearby parking garage and bought our space beforehand. We had a couple minute walk to the main entrance. If you have no bags, you can walk right in. Then you go through the security scanners. We got on the escalator and went up to the main level. There were many friendly employees everywhere who answered our questions as we’ve never been to this venue. There were multiple food options available, along with alcohol at the same restaurant or in a separate place. We saw a few different merch lines and decided to get in line prior to the show. Once we were finished with that, we headed to our seats. We had 7th row seats on the floor, behind the pit areas. It was a wonderful venue! We were able to hear and see everything with no problems. There were average sized folding chairs, which we expected as we stood for all of the performance.

As such I was here for their final tour. It's sad this will be the 1st and last(?) time I'll ever see them all at once. The show was awesome though, they did all the songs. Not much in the way of special effects, but the sound was excellent. I had floor seats and didn't have issues seeing the stage from where I was. I didn't have any interactions with security, but let's just say they were not allowing any 'passing of bones'. Getting through security and navigating to my seat was painless. I didn't use the restrooms or concessions so can't speak on that. I was able to pregame at a bar nearby and then walk to things afterwards for food and drinks.

Arena is very beautiful safe and huge but parking is so expensive and a nightmare to find. Also the upper row of seating specifically sections in the 200's is very dangerous. Very narrow aisles to get to seats and the way the seats are angled is very steep Honestly pretty terrifying. We were in section 205 and could see the stage great but everyone was packed so close. We didn't stay for the whole show due to uncomfortable seating. Food and drink prices are what you would expect from an event of this size.

Very nice venue, but a bit underwhelming compared to other big city arenas. Huge shout out to the fact that I was able to buy a beer and a bag of peanuts for less than $10. That’s a first.

We drove 2 hours from KY to Nationwide to see Benson Boone last night and we were so excited! However, our seats were the 2nd from the top and I did not realize when I bought them how high it was since the tickets were selling fast. I didnt have time to research the arena. The seats feel very steep and it was even pretty scary for myself, but was hoping to acclimate. Sadly, we had to leave our seats because my daughter had a panic attack. I asked the usher if we could by chance pay more for any closer seats and we were told to go to guest services. They were so kind in helping us and I just want to say thank you to them for still allowing us to have a good experience after I thought for sure we wouldn't get to watch one of our favorite performers! I really appreciate it and won't forget it! Some side notes-lots of parking nearby you can pre pay for which is nice. Felt safe walking to and from the arena from the garages. Also, remember to use the right size bag. The Lululemon bags are the perfect size!

It’s been a while since we’ve been to the arena. One of the most remarkable things is how friendly all of the staff are, from the ticket checkers to the many courtesy staff that are throughout the facility. This is a top notch venue.

The Ohio Statehouse, completed in 1861, is a grand Greek revival building that serves as the state Capitol and seat of governance for the Ohio state government. The structure underwent multiple design changes and was supervised by five architects before its completion. Influenced by Greek architecture, it exudes grandeur and tradition. Visitors are drawn to its historical art, including The Grand Stair Hall and the Rotunda.
I took a phenomenal tour with Larry. He was a very friendly tour guide open to many questions and was very knowledgeable. This capitol was amazing. The Rotunda was fantastic, along with the Chambers. I really enjoyed the addition and the connecting room. This capitol truly is fantastic. Well worth the visit.

Free guided hourly tours start in the Map Room (basement) — weekdays 10–3, weekends 12–3. Gift store opens at 10. Self or phone guided tours available during business hours. Cafeteria was closed. Beautiful 3-story architecture, museum where you can speak from the senators’ tribune.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Ohio Statehouse. The architecture is beautiful, and the museum exhibits give a great overview of the building’s design and history. There’s so much to learn about both the construction and the role the Statehouse has played over time. If you want to go through all the exhibits thoroughly, it can easily take a full day. A great place to explore if you enjoy history, architecture, or just want to experience an important landmark in Ohio.

This is the 23rd state/provincial capitol building we have visited and this is unique as it has been restored to its 1861 glory. Fairly limited in its decor but nice to see the simplicity. If in town, a nice quick stop.

The Ohio Statehouse is a real treasure and a must see. Beautiful example of Greek revival architecture that was lovingly restored years ago and is very well maintained. I’ve been in there literally hundreds of times and always see something I’ve never noticed. Wonderful historical building that offers tours: be sure to call ahead. Be sure to see the Rotunda, the House & Senate Chambers, and the museum and gift shop.

Outstanding guided tour of the Ohio Statehouse on Sunday 10/12/25. This tour is a must see if you are looking for a good activity when in Columbus, Ohio! You will not be disappointed. Our guide was former military and had an expert knowledge of Ohio history. Can’t think of a better way to spend taxpayer money.

“The Statehouse is built in the Greek Revival style, a type of design based on the buildings of ancient Greece and very popular in the U.S. during the early and mid 1800s. Because ancient Greece is the birthplace of democracy, the style had great meaning in the young American nation. Greek Revival was simple and straightforward and looked nothing at all like the Gothic Revival buildings popular in Europe at the same period. The broad horizontal mass of the building and the even and regular rows of columns resemble such buildings as the Parthenon in Athens. The Ohio Statehouse is a masonry building, consisting largely of Columbus limestone. The limestone was taken from a quarry on the west banks of the Scioto River. The stone of the Statehouse foundation is more than 18 feet deep. During the course of the Statehouse's construction, 22 years would pass, but it would not be a period of non-stop work. Construction would cease during the harsh winter months, and as the project would exceed its budget, there would often be halts in construction as new funding was arranged. The longest gap in construction came about when the legislation making Columbus the state capitol was due to expire. There was a eight-year lapse in the building of the Statehouse from 1840-1848. The completed basement and foundations were actually filled in with soil and Capitol Square was used as a pasture.”

The Ohio State University is a prominent public research institution with a sprawling campus in the college town of Columbus. The city offers a mix of affordable eateries and lively bars near the campus, as well as more upscale options in areas like Easton Town Center and German Village. Columbus has a rich history shaped by German immigrants, offering diverse cultural experiences for visitors to explore. The university's main campus has been an integral part of the city for 150 years and is one of the largest in the country.
The Ohio State University campus is basically it's own city.I spent some time walking the Olentangy Trail from Lane Avenue to about King Avenue. There is a lot of construction in this area and it had quite a few detours on the trail. These detours take you into campus and gave me a different perspective other than just from the trail. Ohio State University campus is constantly changing but it still has quite a few historic sites and some impressive new ones.

My kids and I had a great time at the fair during a week day! There were so many things to see and do. The food options were endless and there was something for everyone. The skylift was good to rest your legs from the walking. My only con was the lack of places to refill your water bottle.

I love the fair! Last week my niece showed lambs and this weekend my nephew showed pigs. The best Swiss cheese on a stick is near the brown sheep barn and across from Bricker building. It is a black sign w white lettering. The best waffles and elephants ears are by Cardinal entrance as they are made fresh. They are called Marshall's.

Schiller Park, located in the charming German Village neighborhood just south of downtown Columbus, is a historic green space with a rich cultural heritage. Originally established in the mid-1800s and later renamed after the renowned German poet Friedrich Schiller, the park offers various attractions such as a fishing pond, playground, tennis courts, and a stage for outdoor shows. The area also features traces of German-American culture, including spots like Schmidts sausage haus and a bronze statue of Friedrich Schiller.
One of my favorite parks in the city. It’s great for people watching and enjoying the many dogs our residents have. I always make a new friend when I’m here. The squirrels let people get awfully close too! Mind the north center of the park when it’s heavily rained as it will flood!

I liked Schiller park a lot! There’s so much greenery and the pond with artwork installed around is so beautiful! There are so many geese near the pond. The park wasn’t very crowded when I visited. They have lots of seating area in the park. There were a few monuments in the park too. The theater in the park really stood out to me! I wish I could have seen the Shakespeare play at the theatre. In terms of artwork, the umbrella girl statue was so beautiful!

The combination of excellent facilities, beautiful natural features, and strong community programming makes it a true asset to German Village. Perfect for: Daily dog walking, morning exercise, family recreation, community events, pickleball/tennis enthusiasts Would I recommend? Absolutely! This is a model for how urban parks should be maintained and programmed.

Military Museums
The National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus, Ohio is a unique and modern structure that pays tribute to service members from all branches of the U.S. military across various conflicts and peacetime. Unlike traditional war museums, this institution focuses on the personal stories of ordinary soldiers, sailors, pilots, medics, and others through intimate exhibits featuring photos, personal artifacts like letters and rations, as well as video testimonials.
The buildings architecture is worth a visit alone but the thought and caring devoted to veterans is above and beyond. It’s a place worthy of its name for anybody to enjoy. Each exhibit area is an either a learning experience or will let you relive your memory of serving this great country in whatever capacity you found yourself in. So glad my wife and I had the time to visit.

An excellent tribute to all the brave men and women who served our country! This was special as it reflected on many aspects of military life. From the time away from family, to serving, to coming home. There are many touching views from those who served. This was special for me as my dad served 28 years in the Air Force from Korean War through the late 70's. The museum is unique in that it is round. The architecture is great and at the top you can sit and see the skyline. There is an outdoor meadow with waterfalls that is free to visit.

Had a great time at the National Veterans Memorial museum. Easy parking, easy access. Right across the street from COSI. Great meeting rooms for groups. Spent the majority of time exploring the exterior grounds (need to go back to check out the displays). Wonderful Memorial Grove is a sanctuary for remembrance and reflection with dozens and dozens of American Elms providing natural shade along the path proving a great place for relaxation amd rest. There are also 4 waterfalls to constantly provide a natural backdrop in contrast to the normal busy city sounds one might expect in the inner city. The limestone wall reflects regional geology and symbolizes the strength of the nation. The waterfalls highlight water as the source of life and healing. Loved the city view walk around the main lot. I was touched by a rifle, helmet and boots display in the water with the inscription "Our debt to the heroic men and the valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude, America will never forget their sacrifices." I enjoyed walking to the top of the building and seeing the city scape from there. Noticed an amphitheater on the roof that looked like a great location for gatherings.

The museum did a very professional job displaying the various wars in America and that America fought in. Descriptions were accurate without being biased. The architecture and various displays were very well done. There is a long incline walk to the front door so be prepared and take your time. Plan on 2 to 3 hours to see it all. There are so many touching moments from veterans and parents of veterans. Don’t be surprised if you get teary eyed. Highly recommend!

A beauty to behold ! A place for history and pictorial work the great United States Of American Military. A very environmentally cautious and green building built in the Capital of The Buckeye/Birthplace of Aviation State(Ohio) . The labor , sweat and hard-work of our heroes past was honored and displayed for all to see . Nobody who visits would ever regret visiting such an Architectural Masterpiece and a place for honoring the Nations Heroes. All individuals who reside in Columbus and want to be informed about the great work the United States Military has done should visit the National Veterans Memorial and Musuem ! ♥️🤍💙
Babatunde F — Google review
The museum is quite moving, but is also very small. In my opinion, $18 is a quite expensive admission price (the cost of admission is lower for vets, gold star families, children, and seniors) for the minimal exhibits. But the Worthington and Columbus Libraries have passes for free admission. The museum has a nice timeline with items, photos, and videos of the US's military engagements from the revolution to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Land-Grant Brewing Company, located in Columbus, was founded by two Ohio State alumni who returned to their hometown to create something unique. Originally known as Oval Brewing and funded through a Kickstarter campaign, the brewery was rebranded as Land-Grant in 2014 and is now situated in historic Franklinton. At the Six One Pour event, they will be showcasing their limited-release Mr.
I know this is one of the most popular breweries in Columbus but it’s worth every bit of the hype. They have beers to suit all tastes I prefer the Columbus crew themed one. Ray Rays and Mikey’s late night slice have food trucks there. Many great events are held there and it’s in a great location for some major Columbus events. Cant recommend enough!

Love coming here to watch the Crew games with my Crew-loving bestfriends. The drinks are great, much vaster than just beer. I especially enjoy their own boozed up lemonade option they offer. Outdoor seating is super cute, and the food truck choices are always great (though busy).

I recently had the pleasure of playing in a pickleball league at Land-Grant Brewing, and I can't recommend it enough. It's a truly fantastic experience that combines the fun of competition with a relaxed, social atmosphere. The league is incredibly well-run, and the staff is a huge part of what makes it so special. They are organized, friendly, and always go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having a good time. It's clear they genuinely care about the players and the league itself. But what truly sets this league apart is the incredible sense of community. We started out as strangers, but after just a few weeks of playing together, we've formed some amazing friendships. The camaraderie is real, and the cheers and laughs from the sidelines are just as much a part of the experience as the games themselves. Whether you're a seasoned player or a complete beginner, you'll have a blast. It’s a great way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy some fantastic beer afterward. If you're looking for a fun, social, and well-organized pickleball league, look no further than Land-Grant.

Great spot with tasty beer and some good food trucks. The beer garden soaked is also great. I did want to bring to someone attention about a tree. Its in the corner of the beer garden. Its a Tree Of Heaven. Whilst having my beer I squashed multiple Spotted Lantern Flies which are a very invasive insect. This tree is their home base and has multitudes flying around. Would love to see these pests taken care of.

Easily one of the most consistently good spots in Columbus. The beers are always solid and there’s something for everyone. I have heard a lot about Land-Grant & finally went the other day during the Arts Festival! It was really nice to be able to walk there for adult beverages at normal prices LOL. The bartenders we had were both professional & great at/with recommendations. I had the Spiked Lemonade with vodka & the margarita, my partner had the Jeni's strawberry 🍓 rhubarb & the Tangerine 🍊 cider! We tried them all & everything was great 😃👍🏻 The large outdoor courtyard was great, plenty of seating and shade, activities etc. We biked downtown so not sure about parking, but street parking is of course nearby.

Decent brews, friendly staff, clean facilities. Their ciders were top tier and I really liked their chistmas seasonal. They do fill growlers and I got a tangerine cider. I highly recommend this cider - it's extremely fruity and effervescent. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu. atmosphere right now (11/23) is 80s christmas gaudy - which I love - and energetic. No kitchen. A food truck outside I didnt try but it's there. I recommend. I hope they expand to include some seasonal sours and ciders for the cold months.

I came to this location for the first time for a going away party and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and atmosphere in Downtown Columbus, OH! I actually worked at the 111 N. 4th Street, building for Ameritech and I was so glad to see that this surprisingly spacious location existed! It was clean, well organized, when we got ready for Duckpin Bowling! The shortened lanes were an unexpected added bonus! My friends and I had the best time! This is a location that I would choose to go to again and again. Mishele, the bartender/mixologist, helped me craft an amazing drink, but more importantly, her customer service made my evening! I was looking at the drink menu and it was awesome, especially for Beer enthusiasts, but I had my taste buds set on certain ingredients, but I didn’t know how to create a cocktail out of it. She patiently answered and asked questions to arrive at a pleasantly surprising Cocktail, that gave me a better than expected experience! I have been to the other Columbus locations, but I love this set up and I will definitely be returning with friends in tow.

Discover the natural beauty and adventure at Scioto Audubon Metro Park, a 120-acre urban oasis in Columbus, Ohio. This wildlife preserve offers diverse habitats for local wildlife and features boardwalks through wetlands, perfect for observing migratory birds. The park also boasts a climbing wall, fishing opportunities, volleyball courts, and dog parks where your furry friends can roam off-leash.
Scioto Park is a serene oasis, perfect for a leisurely walk, run, or relaxing in nature. The fresh air and gentle breeze make it a lovely spot to unwind. While the riverside area can be affected by pollen, it's still a great place for birdwatching, with opportunities to spot some rare species. Overall, it's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

What a great park. Trails, open fields, woods, ponds, wetlands, observation tower, nature center and much more. All right in the heart of Columbus. I loved it here. And they have nice restrooms.
Cathy M — Google review
Nice park with the partially climbable water tower, outdoor rock climbing (shorter and taller - bring own harness), playground and more with lots of parking and views of the large bridge.
J L — Google review
There are some super cool features to this park (climbing wall! cool playground!). But I think overall it was overhyped. There’s not really a view of the river from the park. I also heard it was a good place to watch sunset, but the view from other parks north on the river (like around Cosi) are much better in my opinion. Still, it had a very metro-park vibe in that you really are surrounded by some green nature but also can see some of the city.

This place is so fun and for free! Go inside the learning center.theres a play room with climbing thing.and things for imagination play! Check out the back pacs! And go exploring in the nature preserve! The backpacs have everything you need to discover, explore and have great fun.pack a picnic for the outside play area .go climb a big rock or play on playground or go up a million steps to top of tower to see cols city scape..Great great place my 4yr old loves it here.my 13 yr old didn't mind either!

Easton Town Center is a large and sprawling shopping mall, with many shops and restaurants as well as a theater, outdoor concerts and holiday events. It is also home to two major department stores - Macy's and Kohl's.
Easton Town Center is hands down one of the best shopping destinations I’ve ever visited. It truly has everything you could ask for in one place—great food, entertainment, and a wide variety of stores. Whether you’re shopping for clothes, grabbing a bite, or just hanging out, Easton has you covered. The selection of shops is amazing, with everything from high-end fashion to more affordable options, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to update their wardrobe. It’s especially great for clothing—there’s something for every style and budget. In between shopping, we enjoyed some of the best food options around. From quick bites to sit-down restaurants, the quality and variety are impressive. One of the highlights was the AMC movie theater, which made it easy to turn a shopping trip into a full day of fun. The atmosphere at Easton is clean, well-designed, and feels more like a mini city than a mall. It’s spacious, lively, and has plenty of spots to relax or people-watch. Easton Town Center is more than just a mall—it’s an experience. Whether you’re going solo, with friends, or on a date, it’s the perfect place to spend the day. Highly recommend!

Loved this whole area. The shops were awesome and very sizeable. Great experience with a lot of variety. I noticed that it was well kept and so much to see. Parking was affordable and it seemed to have enough for the crowds.

My husband and I visited here for our anniversary. It was a bit confusing and difficult to navigate for first time visitors, but we figured things out. We were glad to find a good mix of familiar stores and new ones. I needed to use a wheelchair and all were accessible, but a few were very cramped and hard to get around. Overall a great place to visit. We had a great time.

If you have an ev dont bother coming here massive over pricing. Triple charges you now. Charger has a time fee, khw fee, and you have to pay for thier parking. They split the power to intentionally charge you more. The single lvl3 charger on the 2nd floor doesn't have the double charge but easton security is parked there 80% of the time. Warning theres roaches here too now. Every Saturday blocking the cheaper cheaper charger

International airport
John Glenn Columbus International Airport is a regional airport in Central Ohio that offers a variety of amenities for travelers. The airport features an observatory decorated with a 28-foot mural by local artist Mandi Caskey, depicting the four seasons and native plant and animal life in Ohio. It provides almost panoramic views of the city, including landmarks like the Continental Center, Franklin Park Conservatory, and Port Columbus International Airport.
Simple little sirport that doesn't offer many frills other than Starbucks and a couple of restaurants. That said, it's quiet and easy to navigate. The TSA agents were friendly and the bathrooms clean. Simple is more than enough sometimes.

It's a decent airport. They are expanding which should drive down prices and make more flights available. Make sure you give yourself time to get your REAL ID. it's a pain in the but otherwise. I've flown a few dozen times. It's better than most airports. Good restaurant choices. Nothing earth shattering. Like any other airport, think ahead, get dropped off if you can, try to pack lite. Safe travels!

Great airport to get in and out of. The TSA lines here always keep moving and are never very long even with the volume of people that flow through. The "B" concourse is the largest with a couple of restaurants, a coffee shops and a couple of convenience stores. "A" and "C" concourses are significantly smaller. Still have places to grab something post-security, but mainly setup for commuter flights.

John Glenn International is one of those airports that makes travel feel simple again. It’s clean, well laid out, and rarely feels overwhelming — security moves fast, signage actually makes sense, and baggage claim is a breeze. The facilities are modern and well kept, with solid food and coffee options for its size. It’s not huge or flashy, but it’s efficient, comfortable, and exactly what you want in a mid-size airport. Flying in or out of Columbus is always smooth sailing. ✈️🪐

The airport has a a lot of improvements in terms of navigation pick up and drop off. And now the extended rentals are clearly marked, and the airport is fairly easy to navigate inside. Construction as always is going on, but I’ve not had a problem getting in or out of this particular hubin the Midwest.

CMH is honestly one of the easiest airports I’ve been through. Security is quick, the staff are nice, and the place is clean and organized. I like that it’s not too big, so getting to your gate doesn’t feel like a marathon. Good mix of food and coffee spots too. Always a smooth experience flying in or out of here.

Columbus international airport is wonderful. Service is excellent and WiFi is fast. The airport is large. It is easy and fast to find the way and check in. The staff always does a great job to make the traffic flow smoothly. I still remember the first time that I stepped on this land and saw the big Columbus logo at Arrival. This place is absolutely beautiful. Right in the middle of Easton shopping center. Lovely staff, friendly faces & even had a Starbucks, even though they screwed my order up, it was still much needed. We even took a late night stroll around the hotel, which we discovered is an entire block itself. Beautiful weather, clear skies and not a lot of traffic, I was surprised. Will definitely stay again in the future! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

Pretty much get a handmade double burger for cheaper than what you would get at McDonald’s not kidding. The staff is very attentive 90% of them have a smile on their face, which is amazing you would honestly have to search long and hard to find something wrong with this hotel.

Audra was so kind to make me a delicious non alcoholic cocktail, which I appreciated so much, and she’s the sweetest. My only comment would be to serve the wine in nicer wine glasses, these ones are too small and thick, don’t look too elevated for a nice and relaxing nightcap. Thanks Audra!

fantastic hotel and facilities, staff was super helpful and cheerful every time you ask for service. I arrived mid-night due to my flight delay, reception staff (Jacob Milewsky) greeted me with warm welcome, I missed my flight luggage so they helped me with basic toiletries without making a big deal. Overall good rooms, and close to downtown, I would love to stay again in my next trip.

We really appreciate it the location. The beds were nice. We appreciated the Keurig. There was an iron but no ironing board. We were hoping for coffee in the lobby on our way out but they did not have any refreshments for the lobby. Overall it was a great stay thanks to the concierge who is super helpful!

Unfortunately, my stay didn’t meet expectations. The location is great—right near downtown—but the hotel feels outdated. The room had a musty smell, and the carpets looked worn. The air conditioning was loud, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Staff at check-in seemed disinterested and rushed through the process. The elevators were extremely slow, and the parking setup was confusing and overpriced. There was no complimentary breakfast, which most hotels in this range offer nowadays. It wasn’t a total disaster, but for the price and the IHG brand, I expected better. The only major plus was the convenient location near the capitol and nearby venues. 🛏️ Room: Clean-ish but outdated 👎 Staff: Not very welcoming 🚗 Parking: Expensive and confusing 📍 Overall: 2/5 — wouldn’t stay again unless it’s the only option

I’m visiting from Colorado. Worst hotel experience of my life. I didn’t even stay. I asked for a refund and went to another hotel. The smell coming from their ac units was awful, it gave me a wicked headache. So I went down and asked if I could get a new room. The maintenance guy was there and went to go check. I got my new room. And the new room the ac had the same smell and wasn’t even working properly. I went back down to complain again. The maintenance guy showed me how to use the ac like I was dumb. Before he finished showing me I just walked out of the room. Went somewhere to cry for a second, I broke down cause I’m 1300 miles away from home and this is how I’m met. I never travel so this of course would be my luck. I collected myself. Asked for a refund. And went somewhere else.

Check-in was at 4 PM, but we had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour before getting our room. I get that it was a busy day, but you'd think they could have planned better, especially knowing how many reservations were coming in. We were also told they were short on towels—which honestly just seems wild. How does a hotel run out of basic things like that? I usually try to be understanding when stuff goes wrong, but whoever is answering the phones for the rooms could definitely be more helpful and professional. You're in a hospitality setting—just do better. On the bright side, the restaurant staff was great
Andrew T — Google review
Absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy from the moment I walked in. There were stains all over the curtains and sheets, and dust covering every surface like it has not been cleaned in months. The worst part was when I went to hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign — it literally stuck to my hand because it was so grimy, with hair stuck to it. Completely unacceptable. I couldn't even relax knowing how dirty everything was. Definitely would not recommend staying here. I even left early because I couldnt fathom sleeping in that bed. I would rather sleep in my car.
Lauren A — Google review
I was honestly pretty shocked to see the reviews of this place. It’s a Holiday Inn, and odds are if it’s not some event, it’s under $100 a night. Is it a high-end hotel? No. Is it a perfectly serviceable hotel? Yes. The front desk staff was friendly and competent. Our room was situated directly between the elevators and the ice machine: a little loud but super convenient. The room was huge (king bed) with a pull-out couch. The TV and dresser/fridge was at least 10 feet from the bed; good thing we aren’t big TV watchers. The bathroom was small and a bit cramped, unless you enjoy rolling off the toilet directly into the tub. Again, serviceable. The room had a few blemishes: wallpaper peeling away from the window a bit, paint along a windowsill where someone missed cutting in. However: affordable. Centrally located (under 10 minutes to just about anywhere, including the Franklin Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. In-hotel restaurant (we didn’t try it as the schedule didn’t mesh well with our itinerary. Maid staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was extremely affordable ($12 a night. For those who said it’s unreasonable, try Boston, where I’ve paid $65/night). Overall? A perfectly adequate hotel at a very affordable price. We would absolutely stay there again.
Cyndy A — Google review
Wish I could give it a zero. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I booked two rooms and my room had trash in it, bottle caps on the floor, and the tv was broken. When we went down to complain, they seemed like "oh well", but did give me another room. Both rooms stunk from the A/C units so bad. Our rooms were never properly cleaned throughout the stay. I really felt like this was some kind of prank, because it was a joke how we would find the rooms after they had been "cleaned". Most unprofessional cleaning service. The elevators were disgusting, and Im surprised the entire pace hasn't been shut down. The only good thing here was a restaurant that is in the same building but operates separately.

We stayed here during our cross country move. We had a 26’ U Haul and had plenty of space for us to park. All staff we encountered were helpful and kind. Food at the restaurant was great. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed being able to take a walk around after being cooped up in the car all day. And the room was clean, comfortable, and we loved being able to grab beers out of the mini fridge after a long drive. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

Super disappointed in our stay. We stayed 8/1-8/2 for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We thought it would be like a little mini getaway, but most of what is advertised wasn’t offered. In the room there is a paper that states they do cookies and stouts from 7p-9p, which they didn’t. Online it mentions the included breakfast offered beermosas, it didn’t. We made sure to mention that we were bringing our dog when we made the reservation as the website request, but there was not a water bowl in the room or the welcome treats that are mentioned online. We went into the gift shop to buy a toy for our pup, and there was nothing. The other brewdog locations I’ve visited have offered more than this dog friendly based location. In addition to that, the record player in our room didn’t work. We thought we were paying the higher price to stay here for a cool experience, but ended up being just like any other dog friendly hotel. The brewery aspect of the stay definitely didn’t really shine through. On a positive note, the staff we did interact with were very nice. We opted not to bother them with our disappointment because they were short staffed and trying to set up for a wedding, but we appreciated the friendliness.

Just went to restaurant, not the hotel. Food and beer was great. I rated service 2 stars bc we were waiting at a table for over 30 mins before someone came over. (Bc we finally got up and asked for help.) Apparently there was some miscommunication with the host and server. I wish we would have gotten some kind of discount or refund. Once we got a server, he was great. Kind and delivered great service. Food was fairly quick too!

We were so excited about this trip and had really high hopes (especially for how much we paid). We were unfortunately really disappointed and wouldn't recommend it. My husband and I traveled about 4 hours and stayed for 2 night with our two dogs. I will start with the positives. The facility is really cool. I love that there is a dog park and so much outdoor seating for bringing the pups. All of the people we interacted with were very friendly. The negatives can essentially be grouped as a lack of attention to detail. We bought the top dog package which included a dinner (appetizer through dessert) so we used that the first night. We were sitting outside since we had our dogs and we ended up being there for over 2 hours and most of that was just waiting on food/drinks. We ended up asking for our dessert to go since we had already waiting so long that it had gotten dark & cold outside (it was october) and we still waited another 30-45 minutes just for the dessert. The second night the food was much faster, but 2 of the things I ordered were wrong. They also offered a fall drink menu, but everytime we ordered off of it no one seemed to know what they were or how to make them even though it was their own seasonal special. There was also a ton of kids playing in the dog park each day even though the rules specifically say no kids under 12 so there were some points we couldn't even take our dogs into the dog park. The hotel also lacked attention to detail. By each elevator there was two containers, one for a little human sweet treat, and one for dog treats with a sign saying available 24/7. They were empty our entire stay, even after we asked one of the staff members about if the dog treats would be refilled. The containers were never refilled, but someone did drop some treats off at our room. For the 1st day and part of our second day, the trash can in the dog park was overflowing with dog poop and the trash can outside of the dog park was also overflowed with trash. There was also a dirty pair of underwear on the walking path for about 24 hours. For paying almost $700 for 2 nights (not including extras we bought while we were there) we wish those small things would have been a bigger priority. It also would have helped us overlook the troubles at the restaurant. Overall we were just underwhelmed with the whole stay. It has potential to be such a cool experience, but needs some work.

My mom had some medical appts and we are from NY. Decided to make some fun during this trip. My husband and I stayed at The Doghouse 4 years ago and loved it. When we checked in, the staff was great and we went to the restaurant on site. Everything was great. Rooms were clean and spacious. When we went for cookies and stout we started to see issues. There was nobody actively attending the bar so we waited for a few minutes. Not a huge deal but last time I was here, someone was right at the bar. This morning is where most of the issues were. I remember the breakfast being pretty solid. That wasn’t the case today. Only one person was there to help and everything was bland, overcooked, or stale. There were no beermosas as there was previously. And no cream cheese or butter for the already hard bagels. Very disappointing. On top of that, the fire alarm started going off. And the employee wasn’t really sure what to do. Everything was fine but it took a bit to figure out what was going on. I would love to see the hotel return to its former glory as I wasn’t 100% impressed this time.

This is a review of the hotel. We stayed a few years ago and really enjoyed it; not so much this time. We actually left and went home. The bathroom in our room looked like it could use a good cleaning. The air conditioner was not cooling very well and was really loud. The museum was closed for a private event. There was next to nothing in the gift shop. But the most disappointing part was dinner in the hotel. We wanted to eat there instead of on the patio at the restaurant because we had our dog with us and didn’t want her to bother all the people on the patio and the hotel restaurant area was pretty quiet. The service was very lackluster. No one seemed very interested in helping us. There weren’t many options for drinks other than beer (yes, I know it’s a brewery but they have a good cocktail menu in the restaurant) and when we did get food, it was in to go packages as opposed to plated and we were given plastic silverware. I would probably go back to eat at the restaurant but I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again.

Doghouse is the true definition of this place. This was our first ever staycation type trip. Read about this place and decided to check it out. We travel a lot with our dog so thought this would be a nice adventure. Called ahead to get some more information but who ever answered provided no assistance. I tried emailing but received no response. Called back again and found out that dogs weren't allowed in tap room. We've been to a lot of breweries where dogs are welcome. What we found out is that the taproom is inside the restaurant which makes sense. However, no where on their website do they explain the tap room is within the restaurant and nothing stating that dogs aren't allowed. We would have gladly left out dog at home with friends had we known. After thinking about it more, we called back and emailed to see if we could get a credit or cancel based on the misleading information on their website and come back another time. After getting no return call or response to our emails, we decided to make the 4 hour trip to Columbus. When we first arrived we discovered we have about a 500 ft walk to the front door of the hotel. Without luggage not big deal but with luggage in rain, not so fun. I asked for a luggage cart. they pointed to the one (the only one) outside in the rain. After reviewing the website, the name and information lead you to believe it is dog friendly but it wasn't. further, the room was in need of a upgrade. see pics. The smell was overwhelming. Literally nauseated. Staff appeared in need of more training. We checked in on sunday night so rather slow but there had to be one staff person per customer. We were told we could hang in the lobby with our dog but that was the limit of where we could go. As we sat in the lobby the smells just got worse and this was where we were going to spend the next 36 hours. No thanks. The staff were loud talking to one another like there were no customers in the lobby. This place is need of serious cleaning. We never got the opportunity to eat in the restaurant. The one beer we had was actually good. We had a two day non-refundable stay but it was literally so bad we forfeited our reservation and left within 1 hour of checking in. so, go for the beer but DO NOT STAY IN HOTEL. disgusting.

My husband and I came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We stayed in a patio room and we purchased the Top Dog package and Anniversary package. We had a few issues but honestly they weren't dire and we would still come back. When we arrived and checked in we were given a free beer. We went to the room and we had a bottle of wine and two glasses laying on the bed along with 2 tokens for beer at the restaurant. I love wine but I was confused because the anniversary package said "a bomber sour bottle out of the sour cooler" so we assumed that meant a sour beer. But no big deal. Looked around the room before settling in of course and did notice a few things. There wasnt a lot of fridge space if we brought our own stuff. One was the beer fridge we bought then the other were options we could purchase. Then there was no microwave?? We found that super odd cuz what hotel doesnt have a simple microwave in the room? Then the rain shower head was entirely calcified over. Looked at the removable shower head and it was also very calcified and in need of cleaning. The shower itself doesnt have a big enough lip so water went everywhere when we showered. Then the clear shower liner was absolutely filthy on the bottom. It looked like it needed changed 6 months prior. I had to make sure the curtain didnt touch me because it was pretty gross. The top dog package included the fully loaded beer fridge which was our favorite part of this room. I was personally a little disappointed since i assumed it being fully loaded meant it was loaded the same as their separate shower beer package which says it includes Hawkes cider but there was none. (They did have it on draft at the restaurant though and it was amazing) The dinner that came with this package was super delicious. We got the Korean bbq loaded fries and I have never seen a more fully loaded fry. My husband and I could've just eaten those and been content. We both had a burger which you can never go wrong with. Then the creme brulee cheesecake I need the recipe for because that is now my favorite cheesecake. We felt awful not finishing all our food but we also couldn't take it back to the room because there was no microwave. The first morning we woke up we noticed the fitted sheet came off so we went to make the bed again and realized the fitted sheet was meamt for a queen bed and we had a king. He talked to someone at the front desk and they were confused why that sheet was even on the mattress because they apparently just use two flat sheets and tuck them under. I found this extremely weird since it is a hotel you would think youd want at least a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on the bed since you have guests in and out. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good and filling. Coffee tasted fresh and they had a good assortment of foods to eat. Stouts and cookies in the evening was great. Im not a stout drinker so the woman at the desk offered me a different beer instead free of charge which was super awesome. And we utilized the ping pong table as well. Hopefully the descriptions of packages are a little better and the cleanliness improves because even with all the negatives, we really did enjoy ourselves and would like to come back again. There was a lot to do in the area and we'd love to do more exploring

Hotel Days Inn by Wyndham Columbus Fairgrounds provides continental breakfast, free WiFi and large vehicle parking. The environment is amazing and the rooms are comfortable.
A friend and I stayed one night on our way to New York. The room itself was fine. Nothing too fancy but decent enough. However, it was EXTREMELY sketchy. The parking lot was full of cars that were just sitting idling. Not guests checking in or getting luggage out. Just sitting there. One car in particular watched us get everything out of our truck and then moved her car to watch which room we went into. She then circled the parking lot several times aimlessly. There were several cars doing the same thing. Very odd and very sketchy.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I booked this "hotel" (I use that term extremely loosely) because it was walking distance to a local music festival me and my friend were attending. And look, we weren't looking for a luxury experience by any means - but what we got was completely unsatisfactory. We were in disbelief at how awful this place was. Upon arriving at our room at 11PM, we noticed that the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was a dirty bar of soap in the corner of the tub, hair on the walls, and the shower was wet like it had recently been used. The floor was filthy, I got into bed and the bottom of my socks were black. I don't think it had been so much as swept prior to our arrival. Wallpaper peeling, rusted metal on the doorframes, and On top of that, my bed squeaked and groaned with every movement, so I woke up about once an hour every night. There was also a sizable hole in the wall behind my bed and stains on the linens. I went to store some minor valuables in the safe, and it was inoperable. The next morning I went down to the front desk to see if anything could be done. The manager on duty was dismissive and rude, literally asking me "what do you want me to do about that?". Excuse me??? He also told me that any issues with cleanliness of the room should be taken up with the housekeeping company, not them. Apparently, they cannot take accountability for how disgusting their own establishment is. The only consolation he could offer was a room change that very instant, which we declined. The few pros: plentiful free parking, decent free wifi, AC was nice and cold. My advice? Spend the extra $100 to stay somewhere else.

It was a bed to sleep in, without bugs, thankfully. Everything else was sub-par - we requested to check-in early, which I’m not upset that it wasn’t approved, but I’m upset that we had no idea whether it was or not. I’d prefer a message saying not approved, rather than radio silence. There is a musty smell in our room, melted milkshake in the fridge, stained sheets, floor trim around the wall is peeling off, my feet were black getting back into bed after the shower, stains on walls/iron board/shower curtain/shower mat/lampshades/ceilings. I tried to touch the least amount of surfaces as possible, and hoping my sheets are actually clean to sleep in the bed.

This hotel room was the hottest I’ve ever been in my life! Not exaggerating! The ac was all the way down and blew… nothing. It was so hot i could barely breathe. We tried to contact the hotel numerous times and no one would answer. I tried to message them and no one would answer. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had a hotel. Absolutely miserable all night! 0/10 do not recommend

Didn't expect much for a room this cheap, but I did expect the room to be free of other people's hair on the wall in the shower, on the floor, toilet seat and in my bed sheets, not to mention the blood stains on the sheets in my sons bed. And the candy on the floor. Mold all over the bathtub. Feels like the last ppl checked out and we immediately checked into their room. Even the soap was already used. Talk about Terrible. Lucky we only had to stay two nights. Definitely recommend bringing my own pillow, blankets, hand soap and clorox wipes.

Next to state fair. Rooms dirty. Pool not opened. Not an area I want to be out after dark. No TV remote. Hair in shower before I got in. Soap remnants left in shower. No coffee pot! Tired of getting room a name brand hotel to find it is run by a third party and pay to use brand name while quality goes off a cliff.

Paid $230 dollars for one night on June 21st, 2025 I arrived to check in before an event I had to attend, I noticed although it listed the hotel had a pool the pool was closed. After checking in I did not have time to take my luggage to the room so I just walked in turned on the AC and left. (This was around 3pm) I returned after the event (9pm) and the room was very hot the air conditioner was not blowing cool air and with the weather conditions outside the room was about 85-90 degrees. I further looked at the room and realized the room had not been cleaned well. There was hair and bugs on the floor, half of the lamps did not turn on, and the bath tub bottom was dirty. I decided I was not comfortable sleeping in a room without air conditioning and that was unclean. I went to the front desk and made the receptionist aware and he said that he did what he could do on his end and issued a refund to booking.com No refund was ever received and I ended up having to pay to stay somewhere else because the conditions of the hotel. The description online was incorrect, the receptionist was not helpful, and I was charged for a room I did not stay in due to the lack of upkeep by the hotel. Very disappointed.

I booked this hotel because it was right across the street from the music festival I was attending. The photos made it seem clean and like a good hotel, but unfortunately the walls with dirty, the rooms smelled like smoke, the bathtub had other peoples hair in it, as well as dirt. The convenience of walking to my venue was lovely, but man did the photos do me so dirty when booking this hotel do not recommend unless you have to
