Steak house
Restaurant
The Top Steak House is a classic Columbus institution that has been serving up top-quality steaks and seafood since 1955. The restaurant offers a clubby setting with live piano music, featuring a lineup of talented pianists throughout the week. Known for its charbroiled steaks, jumbo lobster tails, and slowly roasted ribs, this iconic steakhouse highlights local ingredients and Ohio flavors in its menu.
Bethany was totally on point. Everything was timed perfectly. No rush. Everything was fantastic. It’s 2025 and prices were in line with service and atmosphere. The exception was the lobster tail. A bit pricey even in today’s market. On the other hand the cocktails had generous portions and were quite reasonable. The escargot was really tasty. Not smothered in so much garlic you couldn’t taste the dish. Prime rib done to perfection. Scallops again done right.

We had an incredible evening at The Top Steakhouse. From the moment we sat down, our waitress Cher went above and beyond—her service was friendly, attentive, and truly made the night special. The porterhouse steak was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. We ended the meal with the cheesecake, which was rich, creamy, and the perfect finish. We chose to sit out on the patio, and it was such a lovely atmosphere—relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying such a memorable meal. Without a doubt, The Top Steakhouse lives up to its reputation. We can’t wait to come back!

Went here for my birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. When you first pull up, the outside doesn’t exactly scream “fine dining,” but as soon as you walk in, it’s like stepping into a completely different world, something straight out of the 1950s. The ambiance is warm, nostalgic, and full of character. We walked through the restaurant and passed by three unique bar areas; one being a piano bar, another inside (can’t remember the name), and the third, where we sat, was the patio bar. The patio had such a relaxed, inviting vibe, it felt like a little hidden gem. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was spot on. But what really made the night stand out was the service, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. I was beyond impressed with every aspect of this place and can’t wait to come back. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the Columbus area.

My partner and I went to The Top Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary, and it was nothing short of a memorable experience. The atmosphere, live music, service — and the FOOD? Incredible. From the appetizer to the entrée, everything was absolutely delicious. My partner ordered the surf and turf with the porterhouse, and I had the ribeye — juicy, flavorful, and hot! The lobster tail was perfectly seasoned with a mix of sweet and savory. Kevin, our waiter, was wonderfully attentive and informative about our options, even surprising us with a sweet treat to celebrate our special occasion. 1000/10 — we’ll definitely be back!

Went to check out to see what all the buzz was about. Can definitely say it has quite the nice atmosphere. Love pianist by the bar inside and a very comfortable shaded patio outside. Quickly got a table and the portions on all the food was very generous. Had enough leftovers for another meal later. Onion rings were biggest I've even seen and had a perfect crunch to them. The steak was very thick and the truffle butter was very flavorful. Concerns were twofold. Firstly the staffing was a bit shorthanded, they only had one waiter for the entire outdoor patio, so wait times were a bit longer than expected. However. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly when he was at the table so that definitely helped. Second is that the steak was cooked incorrectly at first. The waiter confirmed I asked for medium rare but it was brought out blue rare. He apologized and said it was a known issue with the ticketing system, which was a bit of a letdown they didn't take particular care to avoid this happening. The table next to me also had the same issue. He did get it cooked correctly and comped me a desert for the trouble so he did the best he could with a bad situation.

Beautiful restaurant and Beautiful staff! Lovely throwback vibe! The food was absolutely Superb! Wait staff was 5star attentive and respected our table conversation while still being friendly. I give the chef my Huge complements! Everything from the salad to the steak and seasonal sides were Right on Point!!! Prices VERY reasonable for great quality! we made reservations can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Columbus

The place was very good. It over exceeded my expectations. The French Onion Soup was amazing along with the Cesar Salad. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. Service was over the top and would recommend to everyone to try this amazing place.

I've enjoyed the Top Steakhouse restaurant for years, but my wife is relatively new to the whole experience. Our cocktails were delicious and the New York Strip steaks were served exactly as requested, and were seasoned perfectly. And, as always, the service was on point! After we wrapped up our meal last night, she commented in the car that she understood why I love the restaurant so much. Last night was a special occasion, but we won't be waiting until a special occasion to be back! It was a memorable evening!

Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse is a high-end steakhouse chain known for its sophisticated setting and top-notch grilled meats, seafood, and cocktails. With locations in Dublin and Upper Arlington, the restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with options like whole roasted tenderloin or lamb racks served with delectable sides and dessert for special occasions. The cozy ambiance features fireplaces and intimate seating, providing a perfect backdrop to enjoy a glass of wine or martini while taking in the Columbus skyline.
Outstanding from start to finish! Convenient to make a reservation for 4 people online, and was even able to change the time a bit when we figured out we’d be running slightly late (drove up from Erie to see Wu-Tang @ Nationwide Arena). Our servers were kind and accommodating, answered all our questions, were prompt and had great attention to detail (refilling waters, clearing plates/silverware ect). All of our food was spectacular- cooked perfectly and insanely delicious (starters: ahi and crab cake, entrees steaks and chicken with some some sides) drink-wise I tried the cherry Old Fashioned (wow) and a glass of red wine- 10/10! Everything was just so good. Already planning to come back soon! Beautiful restaurant, clean, cool and comfortable- all around wonderful experience. Thank you!

My husband took me here to celebrate my 53rd birthday. I loved the service and the atmosphere but my meal left me a little disheartened. Don't get me wrong .. there were aspects of the meal that were amazing and then there was not. We started with their wedge salad and crab cake. The salad was amazing!! The hubby ate the crab cake because it was too dry for my liking. He ordered a filet and I got the New York strip. His steak was great .. mine not so much. The steak was a bit chewy and lacked flavor outside of the peppercorn sauce. The sides .. left me speechless. We had spinach gratin and lobster mac&cheese. There was also bread service with a variety of different breads. The staff was great!! They all worked together as a team and made sure that we had everything we needed. They wanted to replace my meal but I declined as I was getting full. I didn't want to have to take it home to enjoy it. They did treat us to dessert which was very kind of them and it was awesome!! We would go back ... it was worth the drive.

We recently hosted our son and his fiancée’s engagement party at Hyde Park, and it could not have been more perfect. The restaurant provided a private room with personalized menus, beautifully folded heart-shaped napkins, and an atmosphere that felt truly special. The food was incredible, the service was top-notch, and the attention to detail at the table was outstanding. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make the night memorable. A huge thank-you to Paul, Erin, Molly, the GM, and Matt for helping us celebrate such an important occasion. Hyde Park made this milestone unforgettable, and we are so grateful!

I went to Hyde Park with my wife to celebrate my birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was classy and perfect for a special occasion. I started with the Caesar salad and crab cake, both were fresh and full of flavor. For my entrée, I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, and everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and absolutely delicious. Our waiter and waitress were both outstanding, attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Hyde Park truly knows how to make a dinner feel special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, and I’ll definitely be back for another celebration!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Molly, who is an amazing general manager— I mean she really makes her guests feel special and is so personable. I can see why her wait staff (Bitna and Paul) go above and beyond. Thank you to all of them for making our first experience a great one. We will definitely be back.

On 10/8/2025 we celebrated part of our anniversary by dining at Hyde downtown Columbus. This was the best meal I've ever had, and I've had a ton of them over the years at many varied restaurants here in Columbus and across the US, and some international travel too. At Hyde, we had the lobster bisque soup, ribeye steaks with bordelaise sauce, caesar salad, lobster mac and cheese, garlic whipped potatoes. We almost never do desserts, but our waiter insisted we try the Flaming Butter Cake and a dessert that I don't see on the menu which mimics S'mores, and we did try/eat both, they were unbelievably good. This meal/experience was expensive for sure, but well worth it to celebrate our anniversary. It was truly the best meal I've ever had. Service was top-notch. Atmosphere was great too.
Bob — Google review
We had the most pleasant experience here at Hyde Park in Downtown Columbus. Our server, Elijah, was phenomenal — his kindness and perfect service made our time as great as it was. I got the 12oz filet mignon, and my fiancée got the 14oz NY strip. The filet was the best quality, best tasting of any steakhouse I’ve been to. We ordered the rich, flavorful millionaire’s potatoes and the five-cheese macaroni & cheese as our sides. They were great and we had plenty left over to take home. Finally, we finished with the red velvet cake to share. The slice was MASSIVE and tasted out-of-this-world. We’re excited for the next time we visit Hyde Park!

With a national reputation and recognition from various prestigious sources, including the Food Network, OpenTable, Wine Spectator, USA Today, and Travel + Leisure, this steakhouse is celebrated for its attention to detail and commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience.
We had dinner here the evening before the first football game of the season, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The atmosphere was awesome - vibrant, upscale, and buzzing with energy - while the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. We kicked things off with some great appetizers and drinks that set the tone for the night. The food? Absolutely a m a z i n g - truly top shelf. Every bite was perfection. And then came the spectacular desserts... we literally ate a shoe - and it was one of the best things we've ever had. If you're in Columbus and want an unforgettable dining experience, Jeff Ruby's delivers. Highly recommended for any occasion, whether it's a celebration, a game day kickoff, or just a night out to treat yourself.

Our first time at Jeff Ruby's, it was a delicious and elevated experience. Definitely one of the best quality steaks of my life. I ordered the steak Burrow which was blackened and they still managed to nail a perfect medium rare. The steaks were flavorful and tender. Sauces and sides were yummy and the service here is of the highest level, yet not overly stuffy. We enjoyed a cozy early Birthday dinner and we'll be back to celebrate other special occasions and explore the seafood options.

Well, we flew out to Ohio for a business meeting this past Monday Oct 6. We were guests, and walking into this place, it just was different. First, I felt underdressed jeans, t-shirt, all good though but we were there to try and feast. The food, service was incredible. Our waiter was incredible, on top of his game, awesome sense or humor, and super confident on anything he was going to bring us, a notable difference. We have had some great service before, from dedicated waitstaff, but this one left a mark, a good one. To our local friends here who brought us out, thank you. What an impressive, location that combines great food, service and atmosphere that is very unique and I mean that in a great, good sense, wow. For me, it’s abit pricey for some items like our Wagyu A5 Sirloin which we tried, they offer some of the rarest steaks. I have to tell you, it was soo good, 1st time in my life I’ve tried this and it was a treat, incredibly delicious and again 100% a treat. Thank you again to the staff there and our new friends. Cheers.

Jeff Ruby is one of the best steakhouses in the country. Every visit is uniformly great. Beautiful space, food is always top notch, our server tonight, Jordan was the best. We started with the complimentary bread with butter and an incredible truffle butter. Next, our party of four shared appetizers of crab cakes, oyster Rockefeller, and an A5 ribeye. All perfectly prepared. My son and I shared the 70 days aged Cowboy steak for our entrees and apple sorbet and the best crème brûlée in town. We highly recommend Jeff Ruby!
Michael C — Google review
What an establishment! The ambiance of this place is equally as important as any dish or drink you'll enjoy. It simply exudes elegance on every level. At a place like this, every aspect needs to hit and the server added to the incredible experience. We put in all our food choices and it was brought out with perfect cadence as the dinner progressed. Perfection. Every dish was delicious. We started with the Bluefin Tuna Flight and crabcake. It was impeccable. Premier sashimi that justified the price. Even the bread and truffle butter were unbelievable. We then moved to steaks and lobster which were cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that that Bernaise sauce on top had started to congeal. For any special occasion, you cannot top Jeff Ruby's. It's the most elegant dinner I've had in Columbus and is worth all the accolades they have received over the years!
David A — Google review
Everything from start to finish was fantastic! The atmosphere was great, there was a live pianist playing, the drinks were good, the food was top notch, and the service was exceptional. My father, who occasionally comes in to visit me from out of town, and I enjoy trying different fine dining restaurants together and we usually spend the whole evening at the places we go which sometimes clearly frustrates the staff. Our server, Patrick C., was attentive, kind, and helpful throughout our evening and we never felt rushed or like he was annoyed by us. His coworkers were great also. 10 out of 5 stars all around! Except..... Maybe putting a bathroom on the main floor instead of in the basement!

If you're looking for really awesome food and the Royal treatment, this place is for you! The pork belly is a must try! We had ribeyes and mashed potatoes. Both were awesome! Our desserts were delicious! I got the blueberry pie and ate the entire thing. I highly recommend if you can afford it visiting Jeff Ruby's! It's so worth it!
Christina C — Google review
We were just looking to unwind with some good wine and this was beside the hotel. Oh my. What a delight to walk into, especially not knowing about this place. We sat at the bar and enjoyed it so much. The wine list was quite impressive. We decided to get a nosh of the mussels with some extra bread. I think this place may not know how to not go over the top. That mushroom truffle butter! 😍 And then we had such a fantastic time with the staff. They were delightful. Olivia and the J’s. One even took some time to write out a list of must do’s in Columbus and other places to not miss.

Mitchell's Steakhouse offers a sophisticated dining experience with premium meat cuts, classic sides, and an extensive wine list. Trendy options such as Wild Mushroom Toast and Seared Sea Bass add a modern touch to the steakhouse experience.
WOW! I had the most incredible dining experience at Mitchells Steakhouse! The sushi shrimp tempura was TO DIE FOR and the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, smothered in a rich creamy sauce and topped with succulent shrimp! Paired with a glass of amazing red blend wine, it was the perfect match. And the service? IMPECCABLE! If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience, look no further! Highly, highly recommended!

I can’t believe I’m writing this about a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, but I have to. This was not a very satisfactory experience. We arrive 10 minutes prior to our reservation, we seated near the restroom. I requested that we move away from the restroom in the same area. Luckily the buster was very swift and got us our beverages quickly. However, after requesting to get moved, our server didn’t come till about 12 to 15 minutes later which was very disappointing. We expressed to our server dissatisfaction, and his response was, “ no worries. I’m here now.” Too bad it wasn’t about him. We ordered off of the Prix-Fixe Christmas menu and the regular menu: chop salad, Caesar salad, wedge salad, calamari, lobster bites, Seabass, salmon, mac & cheese,, and prime rib. The salmon and asparagus did not have a touch of salt, which was terrible. We also got dessert, crème brûlée, butter, cake, and cheesecake. Not to mention, we had a huge dust bunny on the lighting at our table which for this fine dining restaurant is unacceptable. I know I will not be back to this location. Only if I get a gift card, actually.

Delicious offerings to be sure. We had the Salmon and the Toasted Chicken that was simply superb. Fully enjoyed a fantastic dinner. Kelly was our server and was extra ordinary.

This location is stunning. It gives high end steak house. The service is professional. The food is great, my only complaint was that our huge baked potato was not hot enough. (And we didn’t say anything to ask this be rectified) Other than that this is definitely in my top 3 steakhouses in Columbus.

Wonderful atmosphere coupled with excellent service. Food was cooked to perfection, although I've had better steaks elsewhere. Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and the shrimp cocktail are all must-tries. My wife and I went for our anniversary and they went above and beyond to provide a special dinner for us. I've been back several times with groups since and it's always just as good.

We had an amazing experience at Mitchell’s Steakhouse. Our server Nikki was absolutely wonderful!! She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we sat down until we walked out the door. Eric was the bartender and our drinks were super tasty! The Herb n’ Soda was especially delicious! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and all of the sides were just as good. The assistant manager Brittany came over to our table to check in on us and ensure our experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Between Nikki’s amazing service, Eric’s fantastic cocktails, and the great food, it was a five-star night all around. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Dined at Mitchell’s Steakhouse last night with my husband and had an incredible experience! We ordered the Surf & Turf for Two and it was delicious. J. Gilbert's Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood Columbus is a top-notch dining destination that offers a classic steakhouse experience with an extensive menu of sides and cocktails. Named after the renowned Kansas City restaurateur, Joe Gilbert, this establishment is committed to providing exceptional hospitality and serving honest, high-quality cuisine. Embracing a farm-to-table concept, they prioritize sourcing from local farmers and artisans whenever possible. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated ambiance with a beautiful dining room featuring a cozy fireplace.
We reserved a table for dinner at 8:30 on a Saturday evening. It was my best friend's birthday dinner. They had a birthday card, complimentary dessert and some cutesy confetti on the table. This was our first time and it was a very pleasant experience. The pineapple martini was delicious and subtle. The blackberry martini was fruity and upbeat. The cocktails are both beautifully crafted, and delicious. We agreed on the pineapple martini being the best. We shared a fried calamari appetizer and it was perfectly fried. The feta cheese was a delightful pairing with it. The entrees were the same (outside the likes of steak temp) and the reactions were too. Ecstatic. No steak sauce needed. We saved the butter from the glorious bread provided for our steaks, the smartest decision we made this year. A touch of salt and pepper, then it's a royal piece of meat. The Yukon potatoes were fluffy yet had tiny clumps. The asparagus seasoned nicely with a touch of tomatoes. Chefs kiss. For dessert I had the creme brulee which was so indulgent. It's light and fluffy to where it would be extremely easy to scrape the whole bowl clean in record time. She had the carrot cake slice. Which is ENORMOUS. The cake was the only left over piece of heaven from this restaurant. I am seriously anticipating my next visit.

5 stars all around. From the friendly hostess to the excellent wait staff to the incredibly delicious food, this place is a must. I made reservations for a friend's birthday and they went above ans beyond. Upon arriving to the table, a hand written card and birthday confetti awaited us. The mood and vibe of the restaurant was perfect and chill and relaxing. Great for celebrating a birthday with someone special. We got the maple salmon ans filet and crab cake. All were delicious and would get again. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were creamy and tasty. The green beans were flavorful and recommended by our waiter and were a good choice. For dessert he chose the creme brule and didn't leave one drop. I had the lavender drop and it was the perfect combo of lightly tart and sweet. 100% Recommend and look forward to going again.

This place is amazing! The staff was great. The GM was so delightful and welcoming. Our waitress Danny was so helpful, warm and knowledgeable. My wife got the raw oysters on a half shell and the mixed seafood grill. It was probably the best food she ever tasted! I decided to try the 3 course meal. OH MY! I was not ready to have such a decadent meal! Start to finish it was amazing! I had the 14oz ribeye! It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The wood fire grill was so wonderful and tasty. I had asparagus as a side and I'm not joking when I say, I would go back just for the asparagus! Please give this place a try and tell them Gayle and Rich sent you.

We went to J Gilbert’s back in February for Valentine’s Day and were relatively unimpressed. However, we went back again for a birthday and the food was much better. This time, we got calamari, prime rib, and crème brûlée. The calamari had some great sauce, the prime rib was perfectly cooked if not a little underseasoned, and the crème brûlée was fantastic. While I was hesitant at my last visit with the filet, the prime rib was great. The biggest flaw this place has is that it’s a pretty large time commitment to go. We went right when they opened and we were there for two and a half hours, with the last forty five minutes of that spent just waiting on the bill. Great food, but you’ll need to carve out a large chunk of your evening for a meal here.

Staying in Worthington, this restaurant is a convenient choice near the hotels. The happy hour menu was an excellent option, given that I was looking to keep within my travel budget and try an assortment of items. The oysters were delicious, and the prime rib egg rolls were a hit. Plus, I had a glass of red wine and sparkling to kick off the dinner experience. My only advice, consider upgrading the wine list. Too many catch-all, generic wines you can find in your local grocery store. If I'm going out for dinner, I'd like to drink something I can't necessarily get when I I'm cooking at home. Embrace the steakhouse feel and explore some of the better, more prolific wines that people may not have heard of, but will because you introduced them to it.

I can sum it up pretty easily, disgusting. I had the unfortunate experience of eating at this slop house and it was not to the level that everyone I was with had hyped it up to. The wait staff I encountered was mostly rude and seemed unable to handle multiple people at the same time(I will cut some slack, it was a large party and I know that can be stressful, but really?! come on!). The bisque...meh. The WAGYU burger...sucked. Just because you use Wagyu in a name does not mean that it isn't a frozen patty cooked to a yummy grey color and served with the worlds coldest and hardest French fries. My daughters chicken was beyond dry and looked like it was getting the heat lamp treatment. Oh! And the real delight was when I didn't get a top bun and the waitress acted as if I were insane. There is truly nothing like getting overpriced food put together haphazardly yet charging astronomical prices at the same time. Please people of Columbus, stop being bougie and maybe put your money into better places that serve actual quality items. Leave the suburbs and widen your horizons. To the five star posts, hey glad you liked it but its a huge NO for me dog!

We made a reservation for 8 PM on Saturday to celebrate a special family occasion. Everything was nearly perfect — almost. We decided to take advantage of the Restaurant Week menu and try a bit of everything. I ordered the lobster bisque, filet mignon, asparagus, and truffle mashed potatoes, followed by the dessert that came with the set. My partner ordered the exact same thing. Everything was absolutely delicious — the food was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The bartenders were amazing — the cocktails were spot-on, and the service at the bar was truly excellent. Unfortunately, the only downside to the evening was the dessert. After finishing our meal, we waited around 20 minutes, but it never arrived. We asked to have it packed to-go instead, but after waiting another 10 minutes with no result, we simply left. If it weren’t for that disappointing ending, I would have gladly rated this place a 5. But since it was a meaningful and special evening for us, that oversight left a sour note.

This was a fabulous experience. I met 3 of my friends on Monday 10/27. I had the Blackberry passion fruit martini ( proceeds are donated to a breast cancer charity.) I had a French onion soup , 6 oz filet , poblano potatoes. Chocolate mousse for dessert. Our server Dwayne was tremendous. He was very attentive and made us laugh. I will definitely request him in the future. We will be back!

Took the wife out on a date to finally try this place. It didn't disappoint....so many things on the menu I wanted to try. Steak was cooked perfect and had great flavor. The calamari was good and the sauces they provided were a good opposite to enjoy sweet and spicy. Brussel sprouts were good but not great. The wife said the salad was the best she's had. Got the peanut butter pie for desert which was rich and creamy. Look forward to coming back and giving it a try.

Came to this decent steakhouse for lunch. The dining room was splendid like a palace. There was mouthwash in the restroom. Service was good and WiFi was fast, but they forgot to serve me the free roll. The lunch combo was great with few decent entrees. I preferred the steak to the salmon. The crab bisque was authentic but its size was small. My medium steak was grilled well but the Diane sauce was not my taste with mushrooms. The mashed potatoes tasted terrible with too much butter.

This was the most incredible service I’ve had at a restaurant. Our server Sarah was exceptional! I got the $29 lunch special. All of my food was top notch, every bite was savory and it was perfectly complimented with the carrot cake (which they went the extra mile on!). They took our dirty plates and silverware away with each new plate setting and gave us clean silverware. The chairs are so comfortable we didn’t even realize we’d been there 2hrs. She even whipped out a “crumb scraper” from her apron to clean off the table. The interior decor and atmosphere was beautiful! Staff were amazing, kind, and accommodating. The bathroom was impeccably clean.

Eddie Merlot’s is hands-down our favorite place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions! The ambiance, the service, the food—everything is consistently top-notch. We’ve tried just about everything on the menu over the years, and it never disappoints. Whether it’s a perfectly cooked steak, fresh seafood, or one of their decadent desserts, every bite is a win. It’s become our tradition, and honestly, no other place compares when it comes to making a night feel truly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to treat themselves or their loved ones!

Wow!! I can't say enough about my first experience at Eddie Merlots. We dined here at lunch time for my parents anniversary. The $29 price fix menu was a decent size portion for the price. The 8oz sirloin was amazing, as well was the creamed spinach. The caesar salad was tasty. The fresh hot bread was too die for. The were very accommodating with a piece of carrot cake for my parents. The server Hanah did a fantastic job. Not used to dinning places that bring new silverware and use a crumb scapper for the tables. We will definitely be coming back here to dine again. Very pleased with the service, price, quality and amount of food.

Eddie Merlot exceeded my expectations. As a culinary chef, I have almost given up on going out to eat, it’s always expensive and almost always disappointing. This experience has been refreshing and brings back hope that some places can get it right! This was a celebration for my husband’s 50th birthday and it was perfect, food and Sevice! The Avenue Steak Tavern, a classic American steakhouse with locations in historic Dublin and Grandview Heights, offers a cozy ambiance with wood accents and dim lighting. The menu boasts traditional steakhouse fare such as filet mignon, twin filets, top sirloin, New York strip, seafood, chicken, veal, and pork chops. In addition to its delectable brunch options, the restaurant is known for its dry-aged steaks and extensive wine selection.
My recent visit to The Avenue was nothing short of incredible, and I can confidently say that Ryan and the rest of the team absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be a flawless dining experience. Let’s start with the food—every dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether it was the appetizers or the main course, each bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and the creativity in the menu was truly impressive. As for the drinks, they were just as outstanding. The cocktails were expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors that complemented the meal wonderfully. The wine selection was also top-notch, offering great pairings for every course. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the service. Ryan himself was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His enthusiasm and dedication elevated the entire meal. In short, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food, exceptional drinks, and outstanding service. I can’t recommend it enough—10/10 in every way!

Yes: The Avenue lands in the top spot for Best Overall Dining Experience & Steakhouse east of the Mississippi. There’s a reason some places are staples of the community and the entire state… the kind of place that provides proud service, highest of chefs effort, with impeccable plating. The location presents one of the highest-end, yet comfortable environments you’ll experience.. Make reservations, and go ready to try the green beans appetizer! There’s about 25-30 beans on the plate, and that’s enough for a table of 6.. had to know the count! Kids menu gets an up-charge of abt ten dollars but the portions are just right for the kids, so stick to it. The adult meals are fabulous, fantastic, fresh, fine dining! Could cut both sides of the porterhouse with a fork. No more rambling on, end score is- go here once, and you’ll make it a tradition!

We dined here for our 6 year anniversary dinner and could not have been happier with our choice. We were seated 15 minutes early for our 7pm reservation, and promptly given water. Our server Chandler was great. He took the time to explain the menu, specials and make recommendations for drinks. Throughout the evening he was very attentive and available, at the end of our meal he even boxed my leftovers and gave us a free dessert! I was more than impressed with the food. The rolls were soft and pillowy on the inside, but had a wonderfully crisp crust with just the right amount of salt. The tavern salad was truly refreshing too. The greens were crisp and fresh, the slightly sweet vinaigrette was perfectly mixed and the gorgonzola cheese was a fantastic compliment to it all. The beef stroganoff was absolutely divine. The sauce was one of the best I have ever had! The noodles were perfectly cooked and thick, there was plenty of tender beef and a generous amount of mushrooms. I came hungry and could only eat half of it too! I would order this over and over again! My fiancé ordered the porterhouse with asparagus and a side of scallops. He raved about the scallops all night! He said they were the best he has had, even better than a seafood restaurants'. He enjoyed his steak as well, which was cooked just to his liking and seasoned nicely. He almost started chewing the bone to get the last bits of meat off! He said the asparagus had a light lemon and salt flavor. To finish the meal we chose the crème brûlée. The crust was thick, the custard rich and the whole thing quite addictive. I would order it again for sure. Our meal, which had 2 cocktails too, came out to under $200 even with a 25% tip. We think it was certainty worth the price for the attentiveness of the staff and quality and flavors of the food we received. We are looking forward to coming back!

Overall we loved this restaurant and our server and if we lived closer we would be back more often!

Wedding Anniversary Dinner! Salads & Rolls were Great & the mixed Drinks are Strong! Porterhouse Steak was ordered at Medium & it was more Medium Rare. But it was seasoned, juicy, tender & super yummy! Lamb Chops were ordered at Medium. They are 4, but come out as double Chops. When I cut them apart, they were RAW from top to bottom. Fat not rendered out. Completely inedible. Sent them back. This mishap made it so that hubby & I couldn't eat together, which is what you hope to do for an Expensive night out! They put my Chops in pan, raw side down, but Didn't bother to Season the raw meat. No caramelization was achieved & sadly it was not tasty until I doused them Wth Salt & Pepper from table. At $57.99 for this meal, I'd be sure to tell them to be properly cook them together or separate & season both sides! Or season on raw side & hot pan sear! We Love Cameron Mitchell restaurants & will eventually try them all. Our waiter, Luke is attractive & intelligent! Kind, courteous & attentive! He said the Desserts are handmade by a pastry chef. They were good. But Any Creme Brulee pleases my hubby. For me, the cheesecake lacked flavor, body & density, like you expect from a NY Cheesecake. Sour Cherry topping paired well with the cheesecake. Music is eclectic. Amy Winehouse, Lionel Richey, Louis Armstrong, Big Band & Italian songs.

We took our adult children and spouses to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We found every aspect of our experience top notch! Our party of eight received excellent service from our waiter, Thor. I ordered the sautéed branzino. Our guests enjoyed filet mignon, salmon, linguine with clams, a reuben and crispy chicken sandwiches. Both the Caesar and Tavern salads are fresh and delicious choices. The finale was a special birthday choice of desserts. I selected banana bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. Our guests shared with spouses and I shared with mu hubby...yummy! We were very pleased and will definitely return.

My steak had little taste. Wife's had to be redone 4 times for a medium rare (which they comp'd). Salads were tasty. Service was great. Sides were ordinary. Look, at these prices they need to do better. Columbus has better, and with better parking solutions.

With a wide range of seafood and steak options, including the popular salmon and filet mignon dishes, as well as a signature wine list with over 50 options by the glass, Mitchell's Ocean Club promises an exceptional dining experience.
I’ve been to Ocean Club multiple times over the years for dinner, but last week was my first time in for brunch and it was amazing. Our waitress Monica was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu, every time I go to Ocean club the service is impeccable. I accidentally spilled my mimosa and the manager Peyton immediately got me another one. I was slightly embarrassed, but they made a lighthearted joke about it and helped lighten my mood. The food was delicious, absolutely delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Ocean Club, it is hands down my favorite restaurant!

This is by far the best place to enjoy oysters, lobster, and especially the lobster bisque soup! Every dish was incredibly delicious and creamy, with generous chunks of fresh lobster in every bite. I’ve tried lobster bisque at many different restaurants, but none compare to the one here at Mitchell’s Ocean Club. This soup is on a whole other level — absolutely divine. By far a 10/10. Compliments to the chef! And don't forget to ask for Christian amazing server

Oh-My-Gosh…we were in Columbus for a graduation and driving by spotted this sign. Turned out to be the only restaurant I have dined to have every-single-item be top tier in presentation and flavor. The best ever house salad, gourmet gator tops, creamed spinach, NY steak, sushi, twice baked potato, jumbo prawn cocktail, and top shelf drinks! The icing was our friendly, perfectly poised of information, extremely knowledgeable server, KYLIE!! Thank you Kylie, for making our family celebration extraordinary and memorable! Though we did not have a reservation…they asked us if we were celebrating something and then surprised us with graduation decorations on our table. Beautiful ambience as well! Their mindset is, “Yes, is the answer. What is the question?” The BEST!!

This ocean club has been one of the most popular decent restaurants at Easton for years. There are private rooms, a great bar, a rooftop patio, and many good-looking servers. I finally had a chance to eat here with my friend. Their seafood entrees were impressive with fresh seafood and chef’s innovations. The tuna tartare as an appetizer was phenomenal where juicy tuna was perfectly mixed with avocado and secret sauce. I would highly recommend the sea scallop entree. Juicy and tender scallops were grilled perfectly with decent risotto. Their martini tasted great with an alcohol marinated pineapple chunk. However, their sushi was mediocre. It tasted like those sold at Kroger with better tuna. Honestly, we were disappointed with the atmosphere of the dining room. This is my first time feeling crowded at a luxury restaurant because tables were extremely close to each other. It would not be surprising if I joined other people by turning around. The room was also very noisy. I could not hear clearly sitting in front of my friend. It was also hard for servers who sometimes had to push our chairs to get through. This should not happen at a luxury restaurant.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get a giftcard that let us dine here, and our experience was the best we could have asked for! Our waiter, whose English name was James, was so attentive and personable. The filet IS as good as everyone says, especially with the truffle butter. Get the goat cheese ravioli and Gouda tots! The cocktails were very good. Everything was TOP notch! We’ll be talking about this place forever.

Took my girlfriend here for here birthday last night and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter (James) was so good at making the experience even better and cannot say how great he was. We started with some cocktails, I had the Tequila cocktail which tasted so good. My girfriend had the passion martini and she loved it. Then we had some appetizers. The shrimp cocktail and a crab cake. Both were great! After that was dinner and it did not disappoint. Chilean sea bass for me and lobster tails for my GF. Amazing! We finished with dessert, peanut butter chocalate pie and warm butter cake! We loved our night at the Ocean club and would highly recommend for someone looking to have some great food. Only thing we did not care was the music was a little loud and hard to talk. Or maybe I'm just old. Lol overall great experience!!!

Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse Columbus is a popular spot for an authentic Brazilian dining experience. The restaurant offers a variety of rotisserie-grilled meats, carved tableside by Brazilian Gauchos, providing both delicious food and entertainment. In addition to the meats, there's a large salad bar with an array of options including salads, vegetables, potatoes, breads, and cheeses. The inviting atmosphere and traditional Brazilian flavors bring the menu to life.

We have loved coming here for over 10 years. This most recent visit was horrible. Chicken was raw. Pork was all fat. Most of the food that actually came to our table was cold. Salad bar was fine as always. Even the cinnamon bananas were well undercooked. Asked for the manager and she seemed to care very little and only gave us 50% off. Still had to pay $50 for cold and most raw food. Will definitely look around for other Brazilian steakhouse options. I still can't believe we had to pay money for the amount of food that was edible!!

Yesterday on Friday, September 19, we went as a group of five adults and a 20 month old baby to Rodizio Grill to celebrate the birthdays of two people in our group. We had two birthday coupons prepared for the occasion. We arrived for our 6:30 p.m. reservation, and once seated, we immediately informed our server that one member of our group was pregnant and could not eat any meat cooked less than medium. The server acknowledged our request. We then went to the buffet, where we found that several items were lukewarm. During our first hour at the table, the meat rotation only included spicy chicken, parmesan chicken, and chicken hearts. They brought steak only once, and it was completely rare (just seared on the outside). We politely told the server about this and asked if they could bring medium-cooked meat instead, explaining again that we had a pregnant person in our group. The server agreed and assured us it was on its way. After an hour and twenty minutes in the restaurant, our server informed us that the birthday coupons automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill. She then dropped the check at our table—without us asking for it and her without offering dessert. At this point, no properly cooked meat had been served yet, and the few that arrived continued to be very rare, not edible even. When another server came to pick up the check, we explained everything that had happened. She apologized, offered us free dessert, and once again assured us that medium-cooked meat would be on its way. Forty minutes later, a server finally brought out several cuts of meat on an extremely hot tray and placed it directly in front of the baby sitting at our table. The meat was completely overcooked, dried out, and portioned so small that it couldn’t feed our group. Another server came by, questioned why the tray had even been placed on our table, and asked again if we wanted it. Thinking it was some sort of joke, we said no. He then removed the tray and immediately offered it to the table beside us. We never asked for any additional discounts and ended up paying our bill in full (it did include birthday discounts) At around 8:30 and two hours later with none of our requests being met, we asked the hostess at the front desk to validate our parking ticket so we wouldn’t have to pay at the garage. She appeared to agree and acted as if she had done it, but when we tried to leave the garage, we discovered the ticket was never validated and we ended up having to pay. In short, we left hungry, upset and with the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had, and it completely ruined our celebration. We’re definitely never coming back here again. -10/10

Very limited selection on meat choices. The ones they had are rare and chewy and tough to eat. 4 people 245$ was not worth the food choices. THE CHOCOLATE CAKE IS THE WORST DIED OUT CAKE IVE EVER HAD.

Went to Rodizio Grill before an event at Nationwide. It was our first time going to a Brazilian Steakhouse. Cost was $49.99 p/p. While they had a variety of about 10 different meat selections, the portions were barely slivers and you had to wait for them to eventually round back to your table. We were a party of four, and all four of us found the "salad bar" very lacking in not only selections but any sort of flavor. Experience can be wrapped up by saying our bill for 4 was $274 - we would have rather spent the money on better portions and a much better selection on sides.
Kayla D — Google review
This was our third visit to the restaurant. We made a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes when we arrived for our table. The food is always wonderful. It can be a little overwhelming at times when the servers line up offering different meat options at the same time. I love the salads and side dishes from the salad and hot bars. With the full rodizio, we never seem to save room for dessert. If you go, be sure to make a reservation and try the pineapple--even ask for a few pieces at a time since it seems to rotate through the dining room less often, and it is a manu favorite.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a well-known upscale steakhouse chain with multiple locations in the Columbus area. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring steaks, seafood, and chicken dishes, along with an extensive selection of wines and cocktails. Located in Polaris Towne Center, it provides a lodge-like ambiance for patrons to enjoy their meals. Some of the standout menu items include bone-in ribeye, filet mignon, and shrimp scampi.
Came to this warm place during a rainy afternoon. Their large fireplace was heating the room. It was an authentic American restaurant with classic American dishes. The bar was beautiful and the seating area was large. Service was great and WiFi was fast. I was surprised to see that there were lots of people during this bad weather. Their lunch menu had a good pair of salads, sides, or sandwiches. I ordered their cheeseburger and killer Mac and cheese. Their free bread and butter was delicious. The Mac was decent with crispy flakes, but it was easy to get cold. The burger was also decent with a big size of fire-grilled and flavorful patty. However, everything in the menu was not attractive to me because I would like to try something special. Hope their chefs will make something distinctive and impressive.

I was so impressed with the entire experience. We went for my birthday and didn't know we needed a reservation. We were disappointed when we found out after we had driven 40 minutes. The nice gentleman at the front made it happen. He accommodated our group as soon as he heard our dilemma. Which I truly appreciate! Then we had the nicest waitress who went out of her way to make this the most pleasant experience. Now let's talk about the food, 100/10! The jalapeño deviled eggs are AMAZING! Then we got the lobster spinach queso, soooooo good! Our dinner was really good too. Last but definitely not least was the birthday dessert, which was Cheesecake Creme Brulee, chef's kiss! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, HIGHLY! Don't second-guess it, just go you won't be disappointed. I will be back! Thank you all so much for making my birthday great!

Great food and service, atmosphere was a little louder than anticipated. Our server Dan was great at recommending drinks and dishes, keeping our drinks filled and clearing the table quickly. He also had a great sense of humor, and knowledgable about the menu and catering service we inquired about. The deviled eggs were good and different but needed a little more seasoning, and the bread with butter also seemed to need some salt or something extra, but was very fresh and soft. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the carrots were very flavorful. The chicken was very juicy and had a lite honey garlic sauce on it, very generous potions. The lemon blueberry cake was light and fluffy, not overwhelmingly lemon and had a good amount of blueberry sauce. Finally, the spicy peach margarita worked very well, it was not too spicy and packed with flavor. We will be back for sure!

After a long day of back to school clothes shopping, my husband, daughter, and I stopped in at Firebirds for dinner, and it was exactly what we needed. We all chose the 3-course meal option, which included a salad, entrée, and dessert, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our daughter had the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and it was huge! I’m pretty sure it had two big pieces of chicken on it. She couldn’t finish it all, so we took the leftovers home, along with the rest of our meals, which easily gave us another full dinner the next day. While it’s a little on the pricier side, the portion sizes and quality make it worth it. The atmosphere was cozy, our server was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience was just fantastic. We'll definitely be back when we're craving a hearty, flavorful meal!

My family and I stopped here to try something different while on vacation. Mind you this was for lunch. This was a fancy restaurant. The food was not only presented beautifully, but it tasted great! If I lived in this state, this would be a date night restaurant. The atmosphere is set up perfectly for it. The service was great as well as the bar. I was very impressed. I will say it's a little on the pricey side. But for a romantic dinner, it's to be expected. I paid $180 for 4 people with 2 appetizers and one cocktail. That was also including the tip.

Won't return for lunch here! Mainly our waitress Decia, not sure if she was ending her shift or what but everything was extremely rushed and wrong. Expressed we was in no rush and celebrating a birthday. She didn't care once you read the review! Appetizers; Crab Cakes and Deviled eggs. Both were very delish and I recommend! 1st course: two salads, came right on top of our appetizers. One salad was made with incorrect but manager fixed right away. I would get dressing onside it had entirety wayyy to much dressing for our liking. Entrees: two filets both came out cooked incorrectly but one was only sent back to get fixed by manager again. Steaks lacked any seasoning. Side of mushrooms and mashed potatoes both were good. Birthday dessert came out moments later- still had our entrees in front of us. Just bad! We explained at the beginning we wanted to order the bread pudding (even called ahead to make sure it was possible) for the birthday dessert (fine paying) but she didn't listen and said cheesecake is free anyway and brought that. Asked for the bread pudding again and moments later it came out. I asked no candle? She said she didn't have a lighter- wow! Especially since we watched the table behind us get a birthday dessert with candle. I chucked and laughed like you couldn't ask for his. She shrugged it off. That was the icing on the cake for us. We had to asked for boxes and then we had to ask for bag like we was going to carry 4 boxes out in our hands. Now that our food was boxed up-we managed to enjoy the bread pudding- looked nothing like the picture and don't recommend. I had to ask for drink menu a few times durning the course of lunch. I asked at end if she had any digestifs- she had no clue what that way. The entire experience was awful, bad birthday experience for my guest not to mention beyond rushed with meal on top of meal because she apparently had somewhere to be. I've had happy hour here a couple times for drinks so MAYBE I'lI stick with that.

The Polaris area has an interesting mix of restaurants/bars/fast food… but Firebirds will always be in the highest tier of places to have a nice evening/dinner in the Polaris area for me. The ambience is lovely with appropriately dimmed lights and a beautiful colorful lit up bar. The menu is expansive offering options for almost any variety of taste preferences. The lobster spinach queso will always be one of my favorite appetizers. Free bread service is always a great touch. Entree portions are more than appropriate for the prices. Extensive cocktail menu and backbar. The service is always fast and attentive, Jess is the best! Will return for many years to come.

Love Firebirds. Tonight we decided to try a new place, sat down and saw nothing on the menu that looked appealing. So we had a quick drink and headed to an old favorite. Firebirds it is!!! The double diamond pineapple martini is a favorite. We (I mean “I”) splurged on the surf and turf and had amazing lobster and filet mignon. My husband had a pasta dish that he also enjoyed. We have been there several times, never a bad meal.

York Steak House is a nostalgic dining spot that takes you back in time with its classic American fare and buffet-style setup. The restaurant offers a variety of steak, chicken, and seafood dishes cooked to perfection. The salad bar is particularly noteworthy, and the dessert selection is delightful. With its unchanged decor from 50 years ago, York Steak House provides a unique dining experience that's perfect for special occasions or date nights.
Food tastes great in the prices are very reasonable. It looks like 1970 in there. This is my new favorite place to go out to eat
Dave S — Google review
If you are looking for a decent steak dinner at a good price, York is place. Stepping through the heavy wooden doors is a step back into time when the York Steakhouse ruled malls in the Midwest. This York does not disappoint in keeping with the tradition : from the picture menu on the wall as you walk in, the long corridor to grab your tray and place your meal order, to moving your tray through the line for desserts and the salad bar, to eventually check out. Finding a seat wasn't a big deal and the tables were clean and the chairs comfortable. The waitress who took care of our table was polite and kept our glasses full. When the meal was a little slow to come out she apologized and made sure we knew it was coming. Great meal which doesn't break the bank and brought back many memories from a long while back.

It's cheap. That's a big reason for coming here. You won't leave hungry, but you will leave with some extra cash in your pocket. Its cafteria style. Salad and roll included with entree. They also offer chicken, spaghetti and fried fish. Steaks are pretty thin. Ribeye doesn't taste different from sirloin. Actually taste is just ok. But the service and the nostalgia are top notch. Pay for bottle water. The water they bring to the table is funky! Trust!

Decided to check the York out for one thing only and that was the Chicken Noodles on Mashed Potatoes, green beans and dinner roll. The interior is like stepping back in time. The dark carpet, wood tables and dim lighting. The green beans were straight out of a can but okay. The Chicken and Noodles was phenomenal. Great big pieces of chicken mixed with homemade noodles in a nice thick gravy. Yummy!!!! And the dinner roll was off the chart. Pillowy soft and buttery tasting. Delicious!! On to my waitress, Michelle rocked it checking on me numerous times. I’m guessing she’s been there a while since she knew a lot of the customers. Definitely will have to make a return trip.

For a landmark you expect super high quality and service. Everything was just okay. We ordered steak tips and they were out, so we had to settle for second third choices as well as being informed that the salad bar is a single trip. You cannot return and refill. That used to be the case before p@ndemic. This was an hour before closing. Service was very slow but all were pleasant. Boyfriend's steak was very well done when he ordered medium rare as I did. Mine was fine. He was offered a refund and they brought him a piece of chicken " so he didn't leave hungry". It was ok but couldn't have been better.

Best tasting steak I've had lately. Even more so considering the very reasonable prices. The atmosphere was like stepping back into the 70's. BRAVO!!!

Server was very nice. Food was tolerable. Had the chopped hamburger. It was cheap meat. The dessert was a piece of cake/brownie with whipped cream on top. I couldn't tell if it was a piece of cake or a brownie. Not very good Bathrooms are extremely small, I would recommend that you don't go in. Barely two people can fit in the bathroom. The seats at the table were dirty. Spacious eating area.

I ordered rib eye medium and it was almost well done. Wasn't great and probably won't try again. My wife ordered sirloin tips and asked for well done and hers were medium. The atmosphere wasn't bad but the table adjacent to ours was full of dirty dishes from another group for our entire visit. The waiter was super friendly and helpful. No complaints on the server.

Ruth's Chris Steak House is an upscale steakhouse chain known for serving sizzling, butter-topped beef in an elegant setting. Guests have enjoyed happy hour with great food and drinks, although the menu was limited. The spicy shrimp and cheeseburger were highlights, despite the missing cheese on the latter. The service was exceptional, with unexpected touches that made the experience memorable.
July 2025 - I don't have a Ruth's Chris near me but was really craving them. We hit the road to Columbus. We made last-minute reservations, but it all worked out. The food, as always, was excellent. I don't think I could complain if I tried. The service was good. However, we had to ask for every single refill. Other than that, everything was good, timely, and as expected. We also arrived at the perfect time. It wasn't too busy. It did start getting crowded about 30 minutes in. It was disruptive to my experience.

The service and atmosphere was great! Both my husband & I ordered the ribeye, that was extremely disappointing. Our steak was cooked how we asked; however, it wasn't seasoned and seared well. There was no crust at all. Each steak I think was $68 but tasted like it was a poorly cooked $10 steak. In my opinion Longhorn's steak is way superior. The mashed potatoes & creamed spinach was bland. Though cooked well the mashed potatoes had a weird taste that I can't point out. The spicy shrimp and calamari was SUPERB! They were cooked and seasoned well and the sauce on both was delightfully delicious!!Again, the service and atmosphere was great. Just very disappointed with the steak and sides.

Had a great dinner at Ruth’s Chris last night. It definitely hit the spot. I went with the 11oz filet and blackened scallops, and both were cooked to perfection. The steak was buttery and so tender, and the scallops had just the right amount of seasoning and sear. My wife and mom ordered the sea bass and a salmon, and both looked fantastic Sides were great and shareable sizes too. The au gratin potatoes were rich and cheesy, and the Caesar salad was crisp with a a nice amount of a garlic favor. The real star were the sweet potato casserole. You absolutely have to get a side of ice cream (as recommended by our server Anthony), it somehow managed to be both a side and a dessert, and we were not complaining! Service was on point, the atmosphere was upscale but still relaxed, and overall, it made for a great night out. Everything was amazing and Anthony made the experience that much more worth it!

If we could give more stars we would...we had such a great time here. Our waiter Anthony made our visit wonderful. He was attentive and courteous and he surpassed the standard of above and beyond. Our food was cooked superbly, everything was tasty and plentiful. The manager Carli, was very nice and checked on us several times. We read previous reviews and were very hesitant to come here, but we are glad we visited despite the negative reviews. They also played good music in the background, that was not too loud. There's a bar here and there are TVs to watch while eating. They have private sections for large parties as well. We will definitely be back based on the service we received today.

If you are going here you already know what to expect for prices and service so you just hope they hit the mark. Well hope no more because they nailed the expectations … other than the beverage selection. Weirdly enough they did not have Miller Lite or sweet tea. Regardless the food and service was literally perfect across the board. I actually arrived early not knowing the time they opened and the host opened early for me so I didn’t have to stand outside in the awful weather. Highly recommended.

Our visit to Ruth’s Chris was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Despite having only one party ahead of us, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was relatively open, yet we were placed right next to a large, loud group in an otherwise empty section. This made it difficult for either us or the group to enjoy our meals, as the close seating arrangement felt unnecessary given the available space. Service was slow and unorganized from the start. One of the place settings at our table included a knife with food still on it, as if it had been used and not properly cleaned. It took nearly 50 minutes to receive our drinks—one of which was incorrect. Our server initially forgot our son’s drink order, and throughout the meal, we had to ask multiple times for drink refills and more bread, as they were gone long before our food arrived. During our 50-minute wait for drinks, my wife expressed interest in leaving to dine at Jeff Ruby’s down the street, sensing that a poor experience was already unfolding. She voiced concern that, given the delays and early missteps, the rest of the evening would likely follow suit. Jeff Ruby’s represents the level of food quality and service we are accustomed to in this category, and in hindsight, we regret not making that decision. When the food finally came, the issues continued. My son’s steak, ordered medium, arrived well-done, while our bone-in filet was raw. As we cut into it, the waiter noticed and immediately took it away, expressing his disappointment and assuring us he would bring a new one. However, instead of a new steak, he returned with the original one now overcooked. One of our sides was forgotten entirely and only arrived much later—at which point our son refused to eat it. The asparagus was wilted beyond being edible, and the crab cakes were dry, flaky, and similarly inedible. All of the sides resembled frozen bag meals that had simply been steamed or reheated before plating. Given the overall poor quality, we left most of the food untouched. Service remained inconsistent throughout the meal. My husband ordered me a drink while our son finished his dessert, but instead, the waiter brought him another drink and forgot mine altogether. When we inquired about valet service, our server had no idea how it worked and took nearly 30 minutes just to confirm that we could pay with our card. Even the restrooms were in poor condition—no toilet paper, some on the floor, a leaking toilet, and a broken doorstop. For a restaurant with the reputation and price point of Ruth’s Chris, this experience was unacceptable. From slow service and poor food quality to incorrect orders and a lack of attention to detail, it was a complete disappointment. We will not be returning.

Cut 132 is a new addition to the steakhouse scene, offering a unique dining experience with carefully paired drinks and menu items. Located at 4188 Brighton Rose Way in Easton Town Center, this restaurant has recently introduced a patio for outdoor dining. The menu features an array of starters including crab cakes, pork belly, and charcuterie boards.
All you can eat is music to my ears, my meat consisted of lobster tails, stone crabs (which are not readily available as advertised) and bacon 🥓. Cut 132 features countless sides, a salad bar, a cold cut spread with cheeses, an omelette station plus desserts! The server was phenomenal and it was an amazing experience. My cocktails were delicious as well, although they could broaden the options. The decor is classy and adds the perfect esthetic to a dining experience. Live music was played during brunch on Sunday with an outside area accessible. Highly recommend you visit. A parking 🅿️ garage is located nearby and valet is also available.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! From beginning to end, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Our server Sara was so funny, accommodating and made our night very enjoyable! Every morsel of food was so delicious and prepared just how we ordered it. Can’t wait to come back!

This is way too late but I will never forget the amazing time I had at Cut 132 with my entire senior class for our last meal together as a crew, as friends, and as Culinarians. The servers were great, wish I could remember there names, food was 100/10. So much flavor, cooked just right, and I do believe the restaurant opened earlier on May 13 (that was the day like 25-30 of my classmates came in). So thank you guys so much for that. A lasting impression was definitely made and I do plan on coming in and reordering the tomahawk steak with as many sides as I can eat. The chefs were amazing and so was the FOH. We got to choose between receiving a tour of the kitchen or the hotels rooms that you can book. All around one of the very best last memories that I have of my senior year. Thank you guys and will be coming back soon.😁😁

Me and 7 of my girlfriends went to Cut for their brunch buffet to celebrate our friends birthday today. Every single person couldn’t get over how delicious everything at the buffet was. We originally had a table in the dining room but decided to sit at a table in the bar area. The bartender waited on us and got our drinks and she was so nice and attentive! (Wish I could remember her name). Highly recommend the brunch buffet, I will be back!

Had a lovely time with my mom for Mother's Day at brunch. She was extremely pleased with her meal. I got the buffet, which starts at $75 but had plenty of food. I only got one plate, so maybe it wasn't the best monetary deal for me, but I ate everything I chose and was satisfied. The non-buffet menu only serves a few dishes. We got an alcoholic drink called the prescription, which they deliver to your table with a little spiel about the Prohibition Era.

Ted's Montana Grill is a chain of Old West-style steakhouses that specializes in burgers and chops made from bison. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its Western ambiance and delicious menu offerings. Customers have praised the friendly service and the quality of the food, particularly highlighting the bison burger as a must-try item. The restaurant also features a bar in an arena district, making it a convenient spot for pre or post-event dining.
The Mrs and I decided to try bison meet for the first time before going to Nationwide for an event. I'd highly suggest making a reservation if you're also doing an event. It's possible to receive seating at the bar (pictured below) but it's first come first serve. They were able to graciously seat us earlier than our reservation making it perfect in time for our event! Cocktails were absolutely great. Both the blackberry smash and the new fashioned were both excellent, might I add, once mixed well enough. They definitely needed some more mixture but otherwise great. Buffalo nachos were also a great appetizer. Bison filet was a fantastic cut and I always order "as pink as possible" which includes 'blue rare' if a restaurant will do it. I was very satisfied with the level of pink (pictured). The onion rings and fries were both very good and I was a fan. The brussel sprouts were the chef special side for the evening and I must say I was a bit disappointed. They weren't bad, but for being the special side of the evening and an additional upcharge they definitely didn't deliver like I expected. Overall the brussel sprouts are not the news flash. You'll definitely enjoy your time here and the convenience of being next to the arena. Still highly recommend.

Ted’s is a great place to grab upscale food before a Blue Jackets game or Clippers game. Tonight both teams were home so Ted’s was busy. We arrived at the restaurant around 6 - just in time for one happy hour drink. The wait for a table was 45 minutes, but we, fortunately, were able to grab a bar seat. Our bartender was good. He squeezed in our happy hour drink and took our food order at the same time so our bison burger, which was perfectly cooked, arrived within eight minutes. That was so awesome given we wanted to get to the game with time to order drinks. Who doesn’t love a perfectly cooked bison burger? I love bison and I love Ted’s.

This would be a great place to go out to on a date. The ambience is nice It was my sister and I first time there. Our server Christian was nice and helpful. Usually bread would be the warm up to a starter but they serve you pickles which was rare but cool. We ordered the Bison nachos as our appetizer. It was okay. Not a fan of Bison meat. Our entree was delicious! The only problem was that on the menu it said garlic mashed potatoes but we didn't taste the garlic. Our New York strip steak was tender and juicy! We weren't too happy with the thick piece of fat on one side. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

Austin is a very good server. The food was brought out hot. Even though they ran out of a few beers, it didn't really matter because that stuff is just a fact of life. The nachos were packed with meat and cheese. We were seated quickly, and our drinks were served quickly. The buffalo meatloaf was very good, covered with tasty gravy. The complimentary pickles are very good and a nice touch.

Service was great, free pickles is a good add on, and the food was good. The bison ribeye was very fatty for what was expected of a cut of bison. However, it was very juicy despite being a bit overcooked. Mashed potatoes were very good and had the country style thickness too them which is a great touch. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I had a reservation at 6:30 PM, one hour before the Adam Sandler show at 7:30 PM, which was right across the street. We had no problem getting seated, greeted, and we ordered a bottle of wine. We were then able to order our food. In the entire hour we were there, we received our bottle of wine and a crab cake. One of the appetizers was a caesar salad and that didn't come. Needless to say, we didn't get our entree. My wife and I literally paid $90 for a bottle of wine and a crab cake. We were in a hurry to get to the show so we paid and left. Even left a tip. I understand how busy service can be, especially when there is a big show coming across the street, and they were probably short staffed, but I can't believe we sat at a table for an hour and only got a bottle of wine and a crab cake. That is unacceptable to me. We didn't even want to ask for the entree and salad to be removed from the bill for fear it would take another 20 mintues to get the bill back. Better make sure you have at least an hour and half on a busy night if you're going to eat here. Maybe it was stupid of me to think we could get in and out in an hour but I expected more than wine and a crab cake.

Stopped by here last night and it was fantastic tried the chocolate cake I can’t stop eating it got to discuss onion rings with the chef after a few, He was nice and entertained my conversation and discussion about Temperatures batter and flavoring and I’m glad he came out and we had a good conversation at the end of the night so thank you for great service and I’ll see you next time. I’ve been to the Smith and Wilensky in Chicago, New York City and Las Vegas. I was curious how the one at Easton Center in Columbus would rate. I would say it performed well. They have outside seating which was perfect on this nice summer evening. We had reservations and had no trouble getting seated, even as we left it didn’t seem like it was too crowded for Friday night. They have a nice menu but the prices tend toward the higher side. This is to be expected from a high-end steakhouse. The score was nice and the restaurant was well-kept and very clean. The service was friendly and attentive. The food came out very quickly. We started with the seafood tower for to which actually wasn’t a tower but rather a tray. We enjoyed everything on it though you think they would’ve had a half lobster tail for both instead of just one. And there was only one crab claw. You might wanna consider the seafood tower for four if you really want to get an abundance of seafood to share. They also brought their complementary bread which is amazing! I had their pea soup as a starter and the wedge salad for my main course. It was a lot of food and I’m glad I didn’t get a bigger main course. They have wine by the glass and some very nice selections. We ordered the coconut layer cake for dessert and it was OK. It wasn’t very moist or creamy. But it was actually nice at the end of a heavy meal. I got a picture of their chocolate cake which looked very good but we did not order it. we will be back.

One of the best steaks in the city. We got a New York Strip and a Ribeye- both were delicious. I prefer the seasoning of the Ribeye- but the taste may also have been from the dry aged preparation. The rolls were fresh and airy with a very interesting seasoning. We did have an issue with two dishes. The potatoes came out cold - the server had no issue with taking them back and bringing a new plate of hot potatoes. The second issues was with the skillet cookie. The cookie came out hard (no give if you touched the cookie) and it was like that both times they brought it out. We abandoned dessert and pivoted to Jenis for ice cream. Our server Kevin was great. Very understanding and helpful. Consistently good steak- but you will pay for the quality!

I understand it takes time to bring in cooked food. But the cold appetizers like oysters and 🦞? Y do they need almost an hour to serve? Lobsters and crab leg was amazing. Bread was horrible, too dry and was chewy. Drinks were ok...I won't say they have the best choice. Steak was amazing, Sea bass the best. Cheese cake 🎂 was amazing too...

This is actually my second time eating at this location. I’m starting to understand some of the negative reviews. The food was actually delicious. I was kinda disappointed that they didn’t have the normal bread. But what they served was good. Our waitress was not great. She didn’t know the menu, took too long to bring drinks, food and the check. We would have spent a lot more money on food and drink if the waitress would have been quick. The restaurant was not crowded. I didn’t see her waiting any other tables. We were there 2 hours. She even advised us not to get the petit filet because “that’s what a woman would get” (We were a group of 4 men). That seemed inappropriate. You would think for such expensive dining and larger tips that they could hire better staff. Plus there was some “vagrant” walking around the restaurant trying to talk to us, asking if we were single and making us uncomfortable. Not happy at all with this experience. However the food was amazing hence why I still gave 3 stars.

So, I’d been interested in trying this establishment for while. We did a bit of shopping and decided to give them a try. It was such a lovely day. We waited forever for bread and literally watched as a server with bread bread gave breast to two other parties which both arrived after we did. I knew my husband was ready to leave at that point. Once we received our bread it was delicious. We enjoyed the angry shrimp. We both got burgers. Our waiter have two options of the burger, I chose the one with pepper. I didn’t receive the correct burger, it had blue cheese on it which I don’t eat unfortunately. My fries were Cold, not even lukewarm. Our experience was quite disappointing however, our waiter Nicole I believe was just delightful.

Had reservations. Valet parking. Welcomed and received immediately. Food was good. Had the seafood tower. Shrimp are amazing! Good food. Pricey, but you know that going in. Manager stopped by table. Server, Nicole, did excellent job. Clean Pleasant atmosphere. Good acoustics.

South American restaurant
Texas de Brazil is an upscale Brazilian restaurant known for its all-you-can-eat grilled meats carved tableside and a lavish salad bar. It's the perfect place to impress your date with its exotic menu and adventurous dining experience. On Thanksgiving, they offer a delightful spread that includes their regular menu alongside holiday favorites, creating a memorable dining experience. The restaurant is also wheelchair-friendly, providing great seats and exceptional service for guests with mobility challenges.
Absolutely everything I tried here was delicious, and it should be for the price. I definitely had the meat sweats after this place but it was well worth it. The lineup was all star🤩 “Flame grilled beef, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage “. I saw a photo of lamb chops in other reviews but I didn’t try any. The salad was sublime, the mashed potatoes were devine and the meat, was heavenly. I was less impressed with the desserts, just too rich. The turtle cheesecake and the bananas foster won that round. I definitely recommend and will definitely be returning soon.

Me and my girlfriend went here last night for our anniversary dinner. It was our first time there and it exceeded our expectations. We showed up right at open and were able to get a table right away. Our server Steven did a great job. He would be right on top of it when we were running low on our drinks and did a great job explaining everything and going over our options for the happy hour drinks and the dessert options. The food was very good. Everything was cooked to perfection. The manager was very nice as well. He stopped by our table a few times to check on us and we greatly appreciated it. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stopped in for a lunch date shortly after they opened for the day and were quickly seated. This being my wife’s first time here the waiter was very helpful in explaining the process as well as making us feel welcome. My wife who has some dietary restrictions was still treated very good as the gauchos understood that she did not eat pork products and made multiple rounds with the Beef options to our table which she enjoyed very much. I do not have dietary restrictions and enjoy the pork, bacon wrapped chicken and the lamb options. After finishing our meal, my wife was able to enjoy her dessert over some quiet conversation. Overall, this was a very nice experience and we will definitely be back..

My experience at this restaurant had its ups and downs. While we had reservations and were seated promptly, we waited over 10 minutes before any staff came to take our order. During that time, we decided to visit the salad bar, which was enjoyable. We couldn’t order drinks initially, which was a bit frustrating given the lack of prompt service. Eventually, our waitress arrived after nearly 20 minutes. Communication was challenging, and it seemed like she was not fully present in her mind, which affected the overall service. When we requested wine, she directed us to the wine menu, but by the time we received it, we were already full from the meal. The food itself was excellent, but unfortunately, the service did not meet the same standards. If you visit, I recommend requesting a different server if you get Rachel, as her service seemed to fall short. Overall, the food was great, but the service could use some improvement.

This is my 3rd time going here and I must say the experience this time was not great at all. They put us in the corner with a few other parties and the people with the meat just completely ignored the section as a whole. We got some meat but not $150 worth. Any other time they are back to back or generous with the meat. They hardly gave anyone in our section anything. Our table was visited 6 or 7 times within the whole hour we were there. We didn't get the array of meats we are normally offered. I was hoping it would be saved by desert the 2 other times I've been they warmed my coconut chest pie & put ice cream on it. Not this time. Definitely not worth them money for this experience.

My family really enjoyed the meal. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. They never disappoint 😁

Excellent dining experience. Great tasting food from the appetizer and salad buffet to the variety of grilled meats offered to the table. They added a few options since our last visit. The spicy beef was a very nice kick for the pallette. The wait staff were well informed, helpful and quick. Great food, great service and great atmosphere made it a fine experience. It's a bit pricy, but I don't mind if it's as good as this. We'll be back.

Texas Roadhouse is a vibrant chain steakhouse that brings the spirit of the Lone Star State to your dining experience. With its Texas-themed decor, this lively eatery specializes in hand-cut steaks and tender ribs that practically fall off the bone. Guests can also indulge in an array of made-from-scratch sides and freshly baked bread, ensuring every meal is a treat for the senses. The menu caters to diverse palates with options ranging from grilled chicken to seafood and even vegetarian dishes.
This was the first restaurant where I had a real steak experience in the U.S. Since it was my first, I had high expectations—and they were definitely met. The combo menu, priced around the $30 range, felt quite reasonable. Our server was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile, which made the experience even better. To be honest, I was looking forward to trying the ribs, but unfortunately, they were out of stock that day. Next time, I’m definitely going to try them! Also, the complimentary bread before the meal was absolutely delicious. Do you get the bread with to-go orders too?

Great service by Naiyah(sp.?), delicious ribeye cooked to my expectation, and the rolls are fantastic too! A great experience at this restaurant. It was extremely busy compared to the other restaurants nearby.

Had a great time at Texas Roadhouse. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and everyone on the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent - everything came out fresh and cooked just right. It did get a little busy, so there was a bit of a wait, but totally worth it once seated. Great place for good food and good vibes.

We thoroughly enjoyed today. Celebrating my husband's birthday. The fried onion blossom was amazing. So were the chicken tenders and country fried chicken. I also enjoyed this mocktail. Waitress was great and their howdy birthday tribute.

I’d give 4.5 stars. Amy our sever was spot on a very busy Sunday. We didn’t have a long wait for our food. My biggest complaint is that my medallions were salty. I wish I had known they were heavily seasoned bc I would have asked for no seasoning. Other than that food was good and the rolls were good.

My favorite Steakhouse chain in America...steaks are always tasty and tender...cooked to order. Steaks are always the same no matter which Roadhouse location you go to. Had 8 oz NY Strip Steak and a country veggie plate.
Joe B — Google review
It was a busy night, but the service was disappointing. The managers were gathered near the kitchen laughing together instead of checking on guests. My hot entrée arrived before my salad, and the table next to me was served the wrong food—which was then placed in front of the correct customer after already being handled by someone else. I also ordered a 12 oz ribeye, but at least 5 oz was inedible fat. On top of that, I was seated directly in front of the main TV at the bar and asked to watch the WNBA game. Instead, it was put on a smaller side screen, while a guest sitting off to the side requested a replay of a football game and had it shown on the main screen. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations, and I don’t plan to return.

My fiance surprised me for Valentine's Day. What a wonderful place. There is a dress code. I ordered my drink, and it was Lychee Lime Soda it was so refreshing (non-alcoholic), and then I had the Classic Caesar salad, which was so fresh and delicious. Our appetizer was the Spicy Lobster. They were melt in your mouth tender, just the right amount of spice, perfect and delicious. My Entree was the Tenderloin Duet with Jalapeño Scalloped Potatoes. All were absolutely amazing. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Our server was Lillian, she was phenomenal, she was so pleasant. The background music was relaxing. The whole place had a wonderful ambiance. I can't say enough about Mitchell's Steakhouse. This was one of the best places we've visited recently. I hope he surprises me again real soon.

Highly recommend Mitchell’s for celebrating a special occasion! My husband and I came in for our 15th anniversary. We sat down at the table to find a card signed by staff members wishing us a happy anniversary! Our server, Tracey, was a delight. She did a stellar job making us feel valued and providing excellent service. Brandon also assisted us and was very pleasant and gracious. My husband's lobster bisque was to-die-for; my Caesar salad was fine but not a particular stand-out. For entrees, I ordered the sea bass (pictured), which was delicious. My husband was thrilled with his Wagyu steak (perfectly cooked) and also raved about the truffle macaroni and cheese. We were treated to a complimentary dessert to celebrate, and we were wowed by their divine carrot cake (with candles and a "Happy Anniversary" chocolate embellishment!). We would definitely return for another meal. Thanks to all at Mitchell’s for providing such a memorable evening.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a wonderful experience at Mitchell’s Steakhouse! From the moment I sat down, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. Brian took such great care of our table and made the night feel special. The food was absolutely delicious — everything from the appetizers to the entrées was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. What stood out most to me was the personal touch. My receipt even had a handwritten “thank you” with my name, Savanna, on it — such a small gesture, but it made me feel so valued as a guest. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or just enjoy a fantastic meal with amazing service, Mitchell’s Steakhouse is it. I’ll definitely be back!

A classic in the greater Columbus area that I’ve never had the pleasure of enjoying until recently. Located on the Main Street of Polaris parkway Mitchell’s steakhouse sits unassumingly in a stand alone building. Upon entering, you’re met with a beautifully ambient fine dining establishment. Low lighting and dark wood finishes set the mood for intimate occasions or professional gatherings. The menu is everything you’d expect out of a classic steak house. A wide selection of regular steaks, aged steaks, lamb chops, wagyu cuts and carpaccio. Additionally, there is an impressive raw bar with sizable seafood towers and sushi rolls. The sides are decadent and massive in portion. The cocktail menu is concise yet creative, with seasonal concoctions and a decently sized back bar. The regular wine list is a little average in my opinion, but this is compensated for with their premium selections. They utilize the Coravin technology so you’re able to drink glasses of your favorite premium whites and reds without having to break the bank on an entire bottle. The true 5 star experience comes down to the service. Dined in on a Tuesday with 2 others at an empty bar. Eric and Tori stole the show of the experience. Not only were they both capable, experienced, and knowledgeable about their establishment, but also inquisitive, easy going, and friendly to the point where conversation flowed easily. They offered wonderful recommendations and guidance when ordering, offered frequent updates on the status of orders, gave wonderful drink recommendations, and overall provided a level of service that should be the standard for all. Excited to return.

✨ I had the BEST birthday dinner thanks to our amazing server, Savanna! ✨ She went above and beyond to make me feel celebrated—from taking photos, surprising me with a personalized card, and even singing to me with so much heart. You could truly feel the love and care she put into the whole experience. She’s honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had—thoughtful, fun, and genuinely kind. The food was also absolutely DELICIOUS! Highly recommend trying the Stout Cake and the Wang with Bone Marrow… unreal! 🤤 If you’re celebrating anything (or just want to be spoiled a little), ask for Savanna. She’ll make sure your night is unforgettable! 💕

This was the best restaurant experience we have ever had! We came to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary, and Manager Nicole and Server Brandon pulled out all the stops to make the afternoon incredible. The food was superb, the atmosphere electric, and they and the rest of the staff were very kind and attentive to our every need. We had expected a good time and quality food, and the chef and his staff exceeded our expectations. Because I had called in the day before and spoken to Nicole, she had prepared the staff as to our reason for coming to Mitchell’s Steakhouse. They surprised us with a welcome sign on our table, and other niceties as well. Will we come back? Absolutely!

I would like to thank Nicole the M.O.D. and Tracey our server for such a wonderful experience. It was our anniversary and they took such good care of us. They went out of there way to make things that weren't exactly on the menu to make our experience even better. The food was outstanding but the service was the icing on the cake. Mitchell's made our dining experience one for the books! I dont think we could have picked a better location to celebrate. Thanks again Mitchell's especially Nicole and Tracey!

10/10 dining experience. Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, broccoli, Pomegranate martini, salad, and carrot cake (warm) were all pure perfection. I'm a picky diner so correct temperature, well seasoned, and aesthetically plated foods that meet, let alone exceed, my expectations are rare. My waitress, Day, was attentive, detail oriented, chic, and delightful. This entire dining experience was so pleasant that it gave me a brief escape from our stressful country.

Good food, relaxing atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt. Food is good, not great. I would eat here again. Fries were good. Baked potato tasted different than what we are used to, not sure why but still eatable. Burger was very good, so was the kebab meat!

Food was just ok warm not hot. Had the filet mignon with loaded potato and steak and fries. We were not told about the happy hour at the bar before seating. I asked 3 associates and none of them knew other than you have to sit at the bar to participate in happy hour.. eventually I was given the happy hour menu. S-Thursday 3-6. 3 appetizers and cocktail and wine specials and only in bar area. Unfortunately, tonight there was a bit of commotion and screaming when a mouse ran under a parties table and the server was chasing it down. A few people left. Nothing was said by management to the level where we were where it all went down..seemed to just ignore the event other than addressing the one table. Soooo will have to serious consider if I will try dinner here again. Headed to rusty bucket for whiskey Wednesday to try and recover this night! Ps we were sitting across from the other reviewer so happy they did something for you wish we had said something we just left food on table after our 2 bites :(

A wonderful experience. Food was amazing and cooked perfectly. I had the grilled cod special with roasted red pepper cream sauce, smashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. My wife had the pork tenderloin with a sweet spicy Thai sauce and smashed potatoes. The service was professional, polite, and attentive. Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar offers a delightful dining experience with its hot spring rolls, flavorful soup, and salad drizzled with oil to balance the sharpness of the onions. The main course features a generous serving of fried rice and noodles, though some diners wish for more flavor in the rice and meat. The friendly staff adds to the enjoyable atmosphere, while the hibachi chef entertains guests with his cooking skills.

Love Ichiban. However, this location isn't one of my favorites. The food wasn't tasteful, almost a blend burnt taste. And it wasn't very appealing. The service and atmosphere were great. Most likely, I will not return.

First time here. Husband had the hibachi, I had sushi. Entire restaurant seems to be hibachi tables. But that's OK. I got a good show 😁 Everyone was very friendly.
Beth G — Google review
only qualm is they did not want to serve a kids meal to my child. said it's for ages 10 and under only. my daughter doesn't eat hibachi, she was turning 13 but looks older. we have never been denied a kid meal, my daughter was already apprehensive about going because of food aversions but we promised her she could get a kids meal (fry, nugget, cheese stick) only to be told "we'll do it this time but next time no" okay so next time my daughter just doesn't get any food?? what a strange policy, let paying customers eat what they want!
Nikki — Google review
This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. It started out bad and only got worse from there. The service was completely unprofessional from start to finish. We ordered two hibachi dinners. My dining companion’s meal came out first — and it was wrong. No one checked on us for quite a while, and when someone finally did, I said I was still waiting for my dinner and that the other order was incorrect. There was no apology, no explanation, nothing but a casual “your order will be out soon.” After waiting another 15 minutes, I went to the front desk and told them I didn’t want my dinner anymore. They didn’t seem to care at all. The person who appeared to be the manager, along with our server, avoided us completely and sent someone else instead. Not once did anyone apologize or offer to make things right. Not sure who was worse — our server or the woman who seemed to be the manager. The whole experience was terrible — my dining companion got the wrong meal, and I never received mine. Think twice before eating here if you value your time, money, or a basic level of respect.

Ichiban is one of my go-to spots for special occasions or when I’m craving hibachi and sushi done right. The hibachi chefs always bring great energy—flipping utensils, cracking jokes, and keeping the vibe lively while serving up perfectly cooked steak, shrimp, fried rice, and veggies. The portions are generous and the sauces hit every time. I also love their sushi—super fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. Great variety from classic rolls to house specials. The staff is friendly, attentive, and they make birthdays extra fun with a little celebration flair. The interior is stylish and comfortable whether you’re seated at the grill or at a regular table. Whether you’re coming for a family dinner, date night, or a group celebration, Ichiban nails it every time. Highly recommend!

Went here for my wife’s birthday. Lots of great selections. For the starters, the Fried Cheese sticks and Fried Shrimp/Calamari was A+++. I didn’t order the Cheese steak egg rolls, but our friends did. Me and the wife tried them and we did like them at all. Went to celebrate my sisters birthday and ended up with my daughter being sick later. It started out fine with them trying to accommodate a semi medium large group. The food came out and was okay, my daughter started eating her French toast and 2 pieces in she noticed the bread was molded. The waiter quickly took the plate and came back with “no other bread is like that here”. That shouldn’t matter her bread was and my son had French toast as well. He did remove her French toast off the bill but I feared my son might have had molded bread as well and left his meal on the bill. In all honesty, the manager should have approached the table and gave apologies but we didn’t receive that. I’m highly disappointed and disgusted! Soon as we got home after having a day out my daughter then let out all her French toast. She had said her stomach was hurting since shortly leaving this restaurant. I didn’t feel like going back in forth with anyone or even asking to speak to anyone at the time because I didn’t want to ruin my sisters bday experience. But that was NOT okay and was handled very poorly. Especially when the automatic gratuity is 20%, I would expect better. Not to mention the price I was charged was not the same price that was on the menu. So either charge the prices on the menu or update your menu to reflect new pricing. The only reason why it got 2 star is because the French onion soup was very good and the cheese sticks were great as well. The steak and eggs was horrible, the eggs were too hard, steak was supposed to be medium and it was closer to well done and it was super tiny.

I had the grilled chicken salad and a colleague had the crab cake sandwich. The salad ingredients were fresh, but there was not much chicken for a salad that size. My colleague enjoyed her crab cake sandwich but ended up taking it off the English muffin because she found it difficult to chew. The french fries were crisp, hot and perfect! We also enjoyed the artichoke dip. Service was prompt and friendly. Credit cards accepted. Wheelchair accessible, though some tables are on an elevated platform.
Anthony C — Google review
I was very disappointed with the food quality. The salad was old wilted and breaking down. Potatoes were hard, dry, and not hot enough to melt butter. The steak cut wasn't recognizable, not cooked as order, and had burnt areas. I have had better steaks at a Ponderosa buffet. For the cost you'd be wise to go somewhere else.

Santos Restaurant & Bar is a chic dining destination that has recently transformed from its previous identity as Chophouse614. Nestled in the vibrant Short North at Luxe 23, this establishment specializes in an array of culinary delights, including expertly prepared steaks, fresh seafood, and tantalizing sushi. The ambiance is sophisticated yet inviting, making it perfect for both casual gatherings and special occasions. During a recent visit with friends on a Saturday night, I was impressed by the attentive service provided by the staff.
First time here for a date night and decor of this place is amazing! The service was great. It was a slow night which worked in our favor. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and consistently available. We started off with the devils eggs they were good not amazing but good. I had the chophouse punch and I didn’t care for it. I also had the firecracker sushi which was definitely delicious!! Very impressive and it was beautifully plated. My wife had the filet steak and she a bit disappointed that it had little to no flavor but was cooked to her liking. The mashed potatoes with added lobster was enjoyable. The brussels sprouts surprisingly were extremely flavorful and like nothing I’ve tasted before and I’ve tried some and definitely wasn’t a fan but they’ve made me one of theirs for sure! We were consistently checked on throughout our meal and the clean up as we finished one dish was impressive. This is definitely a place you want to look nice and take many pictures. The overall experience here was definitely delightful. We will be back!

I visited with a friend for dinner on a Saturday night. I would rate the service as a 5/5 as the waitress and management were very attentive. I would give the food a 3.5/ 5 as the amount of food my friend got with their meal was not great for the price, and while my food tasted okay and my portion was plentiful, it didn’t taste amazing. My drink was a 3.5/5 as the presentation was nice but it seemed to be low on alcohol. My cake was a 4/5 as it was moist and flavorful. The ambiance was a 5/5 as the restaurant was beautifully decorated and great for photos. Overall, if you are interested in visiting this restaurant, I’d say give it a try.

So I know this review might be confusing, because my wife and I had a fairly good time. Let's start with the atmosphere looking more like a club, than an actual restaurant. Accompanied with pop music that you would find at a club. We were seated at a high table (even tho I reserved outside seating). I should've pushed for what I requested, as you will read about later. When we walked into the restaurant, the 1st thing that I noticed was some groups brought there kids. Now mind you, the average cost for an entree is around 40 dollars per plate. Once seated, my wife and I noticed one group, who allowed their toddler to jump and run around one of the booths. This booth happened to be right next to our table. With pricing between 30 to 60 dollars per plate, I was quite confused on why the staff allowed those to take place. At any rate, our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful on drinks and food. Although we enjoyed our meal, while celebrating our wedding anniversary, we couldn't get over the toddler constantly running and jumping on the booth next to us. And the craziest part was when that group finally decided to leave, they were replaced with another group coming in, celebrating their 1 year olds birthday. The combined anesthetics of this restaurant is not children friendly, nor should it be. Santos should require an age restriction and parents should keepbtjere children in check. I didn't spend 250.00 on a meal to be interrupted by a lack of babysitting. Other than that, the food was excellent.

Very nice place. Drinks are pricey. Cannot comment on the food because I only ate shrimp cocktail. The DJ was pretty good but the dance floor had carpet which I didn't like.

First visit, late afternoon brunch. Pros: -Had the place mostly to ourselves -Excellent service, our waiter was attentive but never overbearing -Food came out quick and was the perfect temperature -Beautiful restaurant, nice ambiance -Effort to make the day special, strawberry jello-shots Cons: -Half of our party of 6 was not impressed with the food. Nothing exactly wrong but not anything they’d order again. While some of us were disappointed in the food, all of us had a great experience and would try other items next time. At the end of the meal our server brought over complimentary strawberry Jell-O shots because we were celebrating a birthday. It was a fun surprise and we appreciated the extra effort. The staff made us feel so welcome.

This has been on our list for some time. Finally able to get it scheduled. Everything about this was a great experience. The ambience and decor were unique and"insta" worthy. The staff from the front of house to each server seemed to enjoy being there. Everyone was attentive and had amazing attitudes. Now the food. Wow the food was out of this world. It was hard to limit to a few choices. Will make this our new spot for sure

Awesome outdoor options (covered/uncovered) for enjoying food that is top notch in 'bar food'. Upbeat atmosphere or relaxing drinks under the stars... we enjoyed both here.

Steak house
Ponderosa is a nostalgic Old West-themed chain that offers a variety of dishes, including steaks and chicken, as well as an all-you-can-eat spread of hot and cold items. Located in Columbus, this restaurant provides a classic dining experience reminiscent of bygone eras. Visitors can indulge in generous portions of steak tips and enjoy the extensive salad bar and buffet offerings. The friendly service adds to the overall appeal, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal after church or any occasion.
Very friendly staff and very welcoming. Clean and a step back in the past since there are hardly anymore Ponderosa’s around. Loved the meal and buffet

I loved everything I ate. I was not disappointed at all either was the Mr. and the price point and food selection was phenomenal. Incredible service and waitress, we truly wish we would have remembered her name but she was unbelievably amazing. We definitely will be going back again!I

I haven't been to a Ponderosa in many years. We no longer have them in Cincinnati. Visiting Columbus, we stopped for dinner and it was as good as I remembered. The service was fantastic.

Best dining experience I've had in a moment. The waiter Stan was super attentive and friendly. The buffet was stocked with FRESH FOOD and was super tasty. All the staff was amazing. I will definitely go back again
Patches M — Google review
It was a treat to go there. The same awesome baked potatoes and rolls that I love. Ranch dressing was same and great.
Joeletta A — Google review
It was our first time visiting. The hostess was welcoming and we had a friendly waiter as well. There was a nice assortment of food on the buffet which was warm and delicious. Although, it would have been better if there had been steak. We checked, online, before going whether steak was always on the buffet or not and it showed that there would be since it is a steakhouse so we were kind of bummed that there was not. There were also many desserts to choose from including, my favorite, peanut butter pie which was a surprise. Overall, it was a good experience.
Minta N — Google review
As soon as I walked in the smell of nursing home filled the air. The food looked like it belonged at a nursing home. The only thing decent was the meatloaf and the ranch dressing. I went at about 4 pm and when they were running out of things they said that was all for the day! The pumpkin pie was absolutely awful it had way too much spice in it. The “cheesecake” was very mushy and too sweet, the cheese flavor was definitely missing. The chicken was dried out. The whole place is very outdated. It really needs a complete remodel and a redo on the menu and food options. Ponderosa used to be really good back in the day but they have not kept up with the times. It is also very over priced for what they offer.
Ashley D — Google review
This is my first time at any Ponderosa in years. It's also my first time in years where i've not ordered some sort of steak dinner with the buffet attached. The only current reference I can use is the Bonanza Steakhouse in New Colombia, PA, which I thoroughly enjoy. The good: The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The price point of $10.49 for the senior lunch buffet, drink included, was a pretty good deal. The mediocre: The buffet had ample selections for hot dishes, a salad bar and a dessert bar. The quality of the food was... well... it was food. I won't complain about it, but I can't give it many really good compliments. The highlight for me, was the regular chicken wings. They were meaty and flavorful. The bad: I would not pay $8 to add the buffet for a meal nor pay the stand-alone price for dinner. I don't think it's worth it. I'm sure the steaks are wonderful and that's probably what I will order if I ever get back to Columbus.

LongHorn Steakhouse is a popular casual chain that offers a variety of American dishes, with a focus on grilled beef, in a rustic setting. Customers have enjoyed experiences such as celebrating special occasions like Father's Day and Easter at the restaurant. The Parmesan crusted chicken has been highlighted for its perfect cooking and delicious seasoning, paired with sides like loaded potatoes and asparagus. Additionally, the attentive service has been praised by patrons who appreciated the waitress going above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable meal.
Went here for my mother-in-law's birthday 🎂🎉🎁 on a Saturday so needless to say there was an hour wait which was perfectly fine because there's a Barnes & Noble 📚📖 within walking distance across the parking lot (or driving 🚗 if you so choose) and they gave us a text as soon as the table was ready. I got the full rack of ribs fully loaded baked potato and their special mac and cheese with the bacon bits on it and a glass of water with lemon 💦🍋. I finished all of it except for about a quarter of the ribs was all I had left. Really sweet server kind of forgetful but it's okay because they were really busy and she made up for it by being super sweet so that DID NOT affect her tip or anything like that! just figured I would mention it so that you know it may not be the best service if you go there when it's super busy.

Lately it's been a hit or miss. I ordered my lamb chops well done last night they came medium. Pretty pretty pink. The cheaper my daughter cooked was a little overdone. And there was way too much salt or some type of salt-like seasoning on my food. The last trip was good. The trip before that was not so good.
G S — Google review
Stopped by this great Longhorn on game day. There was a good bar. The dining room was also beautiful. Servers were friendly. WiFi was fast. There was the Buckeye game but the voice from the live game was silent. I was not hungry, so I just ordered a cup of shrimp lobster chowder and the strawberry pecan salad. The soup was cold, so I asked for reheat. But I felt they only put it in the microwave without refilling. The strawberry pecan salad was impressive with decently sweet dressing.
Vincent L — Google review
My first visit to LongHorn Steakhouse was a success. Our server got stuck with a table of 10+ people and couldn't really take care of us that well, so another server jumped in without hesitation once they noticed what was going on. I had the NY Strip with a baked potato and mac and cheese - both solid side choices!

I wish I could give zero stars. I have wanted to eat here for so long and finally me and my family decided to eat here today. We got here at 11 right when they opened and didn’t get our food till 11:56 because they had a large to go order. No problem, but when we got our food we were highly unsatisfied. We ordered well done steak not burnt steak. The steak was super burnt and super dry, to the point where it was hard to chew. My burger was also burnt and super dry, no taste at all. However, the waitress was a 10/10 very kind, very hardworking, constantly asked if we needed anything, it was the only good thing about my experience today. Will not be going back.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG that was really good! The service was spectacular, the food was super tasty, the overall vibe of the restraunt was off the chain, just a great experience! 10/10 would come back again!

WE LOVE KRISTIN! The one that also does carry out -- she is the absolute BEST and my daughter and I go there just to see her -- don't tell anyone, haha! The first time we went there my steak was made incorrectly both times -- the second time we came to the restaurant I asked if a manager could make it (medium) and it came out perfect! I really appreciated that! The manager that made my food was very professional, I liked him as well. Kristin is a sweetheart every single time we come in and the fact that she speaks to my non verbal toddler means the absolute most to me! Adults at times overlook her because she is autistic and non verbal and doesn't speak words back and to me that really mattered. She is still a human and it was nice for someone in this city to recognize that! Due to that and her kindness that makes me feel like I am back home in KY, they have a very loyal customer for as long as I am in this city! Especially Kristin! If I could afford to tip her $100 every time -- I most definitely would without hesitation. But in this economy, with a toddler, whew -- that is more easily said than done. But she would deserve every bit of it! I look forward to the day I can actually do that! Thank you soo much for all the professionalism and kindness you have shown my daughter and I. We will see you again very very soon! Thank you, longhorn, thank you for hiring an amazing and kind hearted woman to work for your company! 🙏

Nestled in a beautifully refurbished barn, The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek offers a delightful country-chic dining experience that is sure to impress. This steakhouse specializes in premium hand-cut meats and fresh seafood, all prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Guests rave about the Filet Mignon and Lobster Mac & Cheese, which are must-tries on their menu. The ambiance is rustic yet inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
I highly recommend The Farm! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set a perfect tone for our dining experience. The warm lighting and inviting decor made us feel right at home. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's creativity and attention to detail. Every bite was a delight, making it hard to choose a favorite! What truly stood out, however, was the incredible service we received from our server. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which enhanced our dining experience even further. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, The Farm offers a fantastic dining experience that combines great ambiance, exceptional food, and top-notch service. I can't wait to return!

I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. The vibe is so comfortable and inviting. The food was phenomenal as was the service. The server was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu and could easily answer any questions. The steak was perfectly cooked! The sides we chose were great. The chocolate cake was delicious and huge! Plenty for two of us to share. I would recommend reservations. We’ve heard good things about Sunday brunch and plan to come back and check that out.

Happy Hour definitely worth trying for 1st time! I'm told I need to catch the Sunday Brunch if I really want the full experience!! We had the Hurricane Punch, loaded tots, Smoked Wings, & rolls w/butter while we waited! All delicious😋

Celebrated our anniversary and the experience was fantastic. Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable on the food. He ensured my allergy for mushrooms was accounted for with the chef and seemed psychic to our needs at multiple points during the meal. The food from the appetizers to the desert was excellent. My steak came out exactly as requested, considering most places overcook it a bit. The only improvement out of what we ate would be using smoked cheese in the Mac and cheese. That is a minor thing that did not detract from the meal. This will be a place we will come back to again.

From the moment you step into The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek, you’re enveloped in a warm and rustic ambiance that harmoniously blends elegance with a cozy, countryside feel. The charming wooden beams, dim lighting, and inviting fireplace create an atmosphere that’s both upscale and welcoming. The service at The Barn is exceptional—attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The food at The Barn truly exceeded our expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the bourbon-glazed salmon had a delightful balance of smokiness and sweetness. The side dishes, particularly the truffle mac and cheese, were rich and satisfying. And the bourbon selection? Impressive. Whether you’re a connoisseur or simply seeking something new, their extensive list has something for everyone. To conclude the meal on a high note, dessert was a standout. The pecan pie with bourbon caramel sauce was indulgent without being overly sweet—a perfect way to end the culinary journey. Overall, The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek offers an outstanding dining experience with exceptional food, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting setting. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a delightful meal, it’s well worth the visit.

The place is pretty nice. I gave the service a 3 because upon arrival they didn't seem to be in a rush to seat our family. They also sat a guy who had a reservation 15 minutes after ours before us. When they did seat us they tried to sit us by the bar on the back side of a wall, away from the others in the establishment. Mind you we had a child with us and I don't like sitting with them by a bar. There were plenty of tables in the main room so I didn't understand their logic for sitting us by the bar in the first place. I asked if we could be seated out in the main room and they did move us. Upon arriving at the new table, there was a spider on our child's chair. The worker made no attempts to help get rid of it ,nor did he offer an apology. He just stood there looking at me chase the spider around the chair. That is a turn-off to me. With that being said the food was good and I would be willing to give them another try in the future

The Sunday brunch buffet is easily my favorite. I wish I had better/more photos, but there are just so many options and my stomach is only so big. All the lunch, breakfast, salad/fruit/cold bar, and dessert options you need. Highly recommend, will return.
Braiden S — Google review
I didn't know this place was even here. The food, every drop of the food is made by a professional chef. Cooked to perfection and I don't say that about a lot of restaurants but the Barn, is that place. The price for dining is perfect. I am coming back, Sundays are my days. I dint care who doesn't want to come with me, I'll go and eat here by myself. And the back patio, a dream spot. Everything about this place is welcoming. I haven't had room for the desserts so, maybe next time. I normally do not eat anyone's waffles but I have theirs a try, I ended up eating 9 of them. So serves butter, a sauce and syrup for the waffles? Uhhh, now I want to go back again after typing this. Try it and see for yourselves. Great place!

Sakura Japanese Steak House is a hidden gem in the neighborhood, offering delicious hibachi cuisine and sushi. Despite its great food and knowledgeable, friendly staff, it's not always busy. Some visitors recommend visiting on weekends for a better experience. The Hibachi Filet Mignon and Crab Rangoon are particularly praised for their delicious flavors.
Super clean, lots of excitement from the hibachi grill. Delicious food . Been here a few times, they never disappoint.
Chris A — Google review
I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi meal in the dine in area. The waiter was kind and fast. I enjoyed the soup and salad. The food was terrible. I tried dumping sauce on it. I barely ate anything. When they asked if everything was ok, I told them about the bland and oily food. They got defensive and said it’s the same chef every night. I asked if I could get a discount since I did eat the salad and soup, and they took off a big 3 dollars off the 27 dollar meal. The lady kept badgering me about taking food home, and I had to hurry to the bathroom and was sick from all the oil. I’m disappointed in how I was treated and the food. I will not return.

Wonderful experience. Great staff. Food is very fresh and tasty. The sushi rolls are works of art. The hibachi is fantastic and large portions.

Not the restaurant, door dash. I placed an order, very quickly I changed my mind. I cotlntacted both the driver and door dash. Both refused to cancel the order. When I finally got it, the food wasn't fresh, my medium rare steak was well done, my 70 dollar food was cold, and the only thing my dasher could he bothered with, was the Pic to Make sure it was delivered. Will never use this service again

*Update -I told the server about everything being wrong when she finally came back asked if I wanted a box. I told her she should have her manager atleast take off my meal since I didn't eat it and it was all wrong. She said ok. Came back with the full bill. We just paid and left. Will never be back and highly advise you do the same. * I chose this steakhouse because of the ratings so felt it was only fair to leave mine after our experience. Long story short, our server seemed upset we weren’t a full table, forgot our drink order, wasn’t happy when we had to ask again for the missing drink, got our food order wrong which of course we had no way of knowing and can’t be fixed once the chef has made it and it’s put in front of you. We both ordered full filet meals, appetizers and drinks , so nothing too cheap. Server never came back to refill drinks or check in, still here, 20 minutes after food service and she still isn’t back to offer boxes or get a check. I worked for 2 Japanese steak houses. I’m not picky or one to complain but I know the routine. This place really just isn’t it. Over priced for the wrong food and an awkward experience. Atleast that was my experience.
