Restaurant
Meshikou Ramen is a laid-back eatery with contemporary decor that focuses on Japanese noodle dishes. The restaurant offers a variety of rich and silky chicken broth options, from the Paitan to the Chintan, as well as vegetable choices. One of its popular dishes is the Fireball Miso Ramen, which features spicy chicken chintan broth, miso paste, and spicy garlic paste.
The food here is always amazing, fast, freash and fairly priced. The staff are friendly and attentive. The music is always on point making the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. Couldn't recommend this place more. The cucumber water was a first for me but so refreshing especially in this got summer we've been having. These are just my left overs and still looks to die for despite me eating the egg and other toppings.
Emily B — Google review
It's a large menu but you can't go wrong with their chicken. Just ask the server for suggestions and you will be fine. the broth is good but not the best in town. Service is excellent. I will be back for the chicken. They will give you cucumber water to help cool your mouth after eating spicy. It was perfect.
Mr. B — Google review
Meshikou is easily the #1 ramen spot I’ve been to anywhere. Their flavor is always on point. And the music playlist? Pop punk and emo music every time! Anywho, I ordered the Curry Ramen as I wanted to try something new. Pretty much their Sheo Pitan ramen but with lite curry flavor. GOOD! My wife got the normal Sheo Pitan ramen. Also so delicious! The pork Belly or Tenderloin option it comes with, can’t go wrong with either. We ALWAYS get an order of the Karaage Chicken as well. The breading is fried to perfection, and the red sauce it comes with tastes so good! Their hot tea is also a great drink to add. Highly, highly recommend this spot! Enjoy the vibes and even better food!
Carlo — Google review
My first visit to Meshikou Ramen was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully crafted. The ramen itself was rich and perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients tasted high-quality and well-prepared. The service was equally impressive; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made my first experience feel easy and comfortable. The beer selection was great and paired nicely with the meal, although I did notice there weren’t any dark beer options available. The menu layout was especially well thought out — clear, detailed, and easy to navigate, offering a wide variety of choices without feeling overwhelming. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating the perfect environment to enjoy a comforting meal. Overall, Meshikou Ramen exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, delicious ramen paired with excellent service and a welcoming dining experience.

All great! We just waited for an hour to get our seats. But all worth it. I like the level of spicy of my fireball. The chicken karaage was great too but the serving was so small. Like 4 pcs per serving. I like the shirley temple drinks as well! The takoyaki was great too, they got the taste I wanted. 🍜
Andrea S — Google review
Really good ramen and appetizers. We went on a Friday night and it was super busy, the wait was 30 mind but once we sat down we got our food super quick. Usually I’m iffy about ramen because I have a texture when it comes to the chashu pork, but I did not have a problem with the food here.
Kylla M — Google review
Simple menu with variety of ramen noodles and appetizers. A Couple of rice bowls. Lovely selection of Japanese whiskies and bourbons. Their fried chicken, Karaage, is delightful.
Anonymous H — Google review
Hot ramen, cold drinks, tasty fried chicken, whats not to enjoy? Miso and vegetarian options are helpful too. They can even take the spice down if you don't like it hot. It takes a lot for me to not order two bowls. Its a bit cramped inside, but they do exactly what they are supposed to do: make great ramen for people to eat. Their specialty is chicken style ramen, which is tasty. I do wonder if they will get traditional tonkatsu eventually, but I am not going to complain if they don't.

Actually got take out which was super easy. Have eaten there as well and enjoyed it. This time I got salad with Korean chicken and K-Town sauce 😋 on the side and it was really really good. The portion was perfect for lunch even though I think I could have eaten more. The lettuces were a nice mix and very fresh. The chicken was tender and tasty. The K-Town sauce was emptied over everything and gave it a nice kick. I look forward to trying new things on their menu.

Very sweet staff. Helpful and chill vibe. Atmosphere runs the same, felt like a cafe and restaurant at the same time. Pretty spacious for dinning in groups or individually. Definitely would try other items on the menu and worth to come back to. Flavorful and very light. Felt healthy with no repercussions after your meal. Enjoyed my peaceful time, great window view too.
Jon D — Google review
An unforgettable dining experience! The service was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive—especially the lovely server with glasses (absolutely adored her!). The food was outstanding; I visited three times during my four-day stay in Columbus, and would’ve happily made it four if they hadn’t been closed on Wednesday. I tried the rice bowl with Angus beef, the signature Tiger Ramen, and the pop fries with beef topping—which were so generously portioned, they could easily be considered a full entrée. Thank you all so much for the amazing hospitality. Wishing you even more happy and satisfied customers in the future!

It's a very cute vibe. A nice place to take as a 1st date. The staff was lovely, very nice and kind. They made accommodations for my gluten-free diet restrictions. The food had a different twist than your usually Thai & Vietnamese food. + Dessert was delish!!!

The teriyaki tofu was absolutely delicious! Loved the flavor and it seemed very healthy! I really love and appreciate the labeling on the menu. We also got the passionfruit tea and it was so tasty and fresh!
Autumn G — Google review
Absolutely loved my visit to Tiger Lilly! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. We tried the Angus noodle soup, miso broth, and spiced edamame—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Perfect balance of comfort and bold flavor. Great spot for a relaxed lunch or a cozy dinner date. Definitely coming back! 🍜🥢💯

This is my first ever favorite ramen place. It has been for years, but I’ve been coming more often recently. I always get the Mala firecracker ramen which is always bomb and I just recently tried the lemongrass chicken rice bowl which was very yummy and fresh 😊
Abriona H — Google review
Quaint and trendy at the same time. Service was great! Food servings are filling! The k-town sauce is a bit on the salty side, but adds a nice subtle heat! The veggies taste fresh and the meat is delicious! Overall a fantastic place to dine!

Restaurant
Ampersand Asian Supper Club, located in Columbus, OH, offers a contemporary dining experience with a fusion of Asian flavors. The lunch special features a starter and main for $14, showcasing dishes like edamame, nori fries, miso soup, ramen, and rice bowls. Embracing the diverse nature of Asian cuisine, the restaurant crafts dishes that reflect different Asian cultures.
Wow! Came here for Valentine’s Day and it was so amazing! Such a beautiful space even if it is smaller. Such pretty plating for all their meals and the food was DELICIOUS. My favorite was the shrimp buns. They tasted so good I’ve been thinking about them since I tasted them! The drinks were also very good and had plenty of liquor! Definitely should try this place if you haven’t.
Taylor M — Google review
This new Asian fusion restaurant had a beautiful dining room with lovely wall paintings. Their service was fast and friendly. WiFi was fast. However, I was not able to enjoy their “Japanese” food. I ordered the pork and tofu buns duo and their signature pork ramen. Everything tasted interesting with fresh ingredients, but honestly it was a bad fusion of American and Asian cuisine. My buns were too sour because of the pickled radish. The ramen broth was flavorful, but I did not like the way that they put a lot of toasted broccoli in a ramen bowl. Besides, the bbq pork had too much greasy fat. I understand they would like to make the taste more like American favorites, but I could not agree with the weird taste as a ramen lover.
Vincent L — Google review
Hands down the best ramen I’ve had in Columbus! I ordered the pork tonkotsu with the spicy heat level, and it was incredible. I was a little unsure about the broccoli at first, but the charred flavor totally won me over—it added such a unique touch. The pork was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside yet melt-in-your-mouth tender. Also, don’t sleep on the taro bubble tea! It was so refreshing and had that just-right sweetness. Definitely a must-try!
Rosie — Google review
I’ve been to the Westerville location twice. The food and cocktails are delightful! The servers are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is a lively yet chill vibe. All of the ingredients for their specialty cocktails are made fresh and in-house. The best part of the meal was the crab rangoons…they are a little orgasm for your tastebuds!!
Christy B — Google review
Belle, our server was so nice and courteous. The food was excellent and the tatami room experience was cool too. My favorites were the Gyoza and Fungus Amongus.
Ramakrishnan ( — Google review
We arrived at the restaurant at 8:10 and told the restaurant we could take the booth . Our. Server was very helpful and was going to clean off the table, Taylor jumped in and was very rude to us and stop us from getting the table. She said we are not allowed to take the booth as it was reserved at 9:30. There might be a better way to deal with situation like this , but lacking of training is a lesson for the restaurant owner. As far as how the food tastes , you already lose the appetite. Horrible experience!, By the way, the octopus was burned, it is definitely not acceptable. This is an insult to call yourself an Asian restaurant club.
Sandra Y — Google review
Quickly became a go-to spot for me and it’s easy to see why. Every dish has been outstanding, and the attention to detail in the flavors, presentation, and quality is consistently impressive. It’s one of those rare places where you can order anything off the menu and know it’s going to be fantastic. The staff make the experience even better. They’re genuinely kind, attentive, and create such a welcoming atmosphere that it feels like you’re visiting friends. Whether stopping in for a quick lunch or sitting down for a longer meal, it’s always incredible. And if you’re a fan of ramen, you simply have to try it. Every bowl has been perfectly balanced, with rich, flavorful broth, springy noodles, and fresh, thoughtful ingredients. It’s comfort food taken to a whole new level. This is the kind of place that quickly becomes a regular part of your week especially with the great lunch specials. I feel lucky to have it so close by. I cannot recommend it enough.
Jonathan N — Google review
Beautifully and deliciously crafted cocktails. Great saki selection. Went for happy hour and the prices were great for the quality. Some of the best crab rangoons I’ve had. The nori fries are delightful and the dumplings are tasty.

Takeout Restaurant
Fukuryu Ramen has quickly established itself as a culinary gem in Columbus, being the city's first dedicated ramen restaurant. Opened just a year ago, it offers an exciting vegetarian bowl that can be easily transformed into a vegan delight by omitting the egg and buttered corn. This hearty dish features a rich miso broth brimming with marinated tofu, seaweed, mushrooms, and customizable toppings for an explosion of flavor.
I recently ordered from Fukurou Ramen, and I must say it was an excellent experience! Though they only offer pick-up, the quality of the food and the efficiency of their service made it absolutely worth it. The ramen was fantastic—rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh, well-prepared toppings. Each bite was a treat, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into crafting their dishes. The packaging was thoughtful, keeping everything hot and ensuring the ramen was just as good at home as it would have been fresh from the kitchen. The staff were polite and efficient when I arrived for pick-up, and my order was ready on time, which is always appreciated. If you’re a ramen lover looking for high-quality takeout, I highly recommend Fukurou Ramen! They’ve mastered the art of making their dishes travel well, and I can’t wait to order from them again.
Нурбек У — Google review
Picked up from their production facility and it felt a little weird but worked out fine. The fried chicken was different than I’ve ever had. Very lightly breaded so definitely dry without the sauce, but the sauce was great. I got two bao and the pork belly one was pretty dry and chewier than I’ve ever had pork belly before. The shrimp tempura one could’ve used something additional too, maybe a sour addition or crunch. I’ll try their ramen next time.
Kumar J — Google review
The ramen was decent, a solid 7/10. Good broth and great pork belly. But they should be absolutely embarrassed to charge $6 for 14 quarter slices of cucumber and a teaspoon of chilis. Good place if you just need something expensive to eat. There are way better places out there though
V R — Google review
My husband had GI upset and diarrhea within an hour of food from there. Fried chicken was stone hard. I think they re-fry it multiple time. I think they should close this location from public health perspective. Eat at your own risk. Editing my comment as there are no place to respond. If there are preformed toxins then the GI symptoms can happen immediately. I am in medical profession and we see this all the time. I hope you check the hygiene of your cook and food handlers. Disappointed
Priya S — Google review
I ordered food yesterday through the Uber app. I substituted the Ramen for Udon because the ramen sits funny in my stomach. I also put no substitutions for the order. They sent me Ramen anyway and wrote on the paper sold out. If you don’t have it just cancel it. Update: Jeff at Fukuryu Ramen is awesome. He spoke to me and made sure I was good. I’ll still be visiting my favorite location in Dublin!!
Chelsy T — Google review
I love their food, but I have ordered from here twice in the last 3 nights for delivery and in both both orders, I have received less than half of the food I ordered. After the first time, I had to fight with Uber Eats to get a proper refund for nearly $75 of missing food. Kiddos wanted ramen so we tried again, and this time 3 orders of ramen were sent without any broth. I have no idea what is going on. But after two totally failed meals, I can’t risk ordering from here again, and paying delivery drivers, plus tips, to end up missing meals or parts of meals for multiple people. Total disappointment, because I LOVED this place.
Megan K — Google review
Tipped on a pick up order and one of the ramen isn’t in the order bag. These are 15 bucks apiece very disappointing. Won’t be back.
Murph — Google review
I definitely must give credit where credit is due! I ordered the Chicken Ramen, with the Japanese Fried Chicken, Gyoza for the appetizer and three extra side eggs and all of it was incredible. Due to a door dash error, the original order did not get delivered. But after I sent an email about the issue, I got a call from Jason at the facility who personally prepared and delivered the order to me! Great food plus service that’s above and beyond, I definitely will eat here again!!

If you're a sushi lover or just haven't tried it yet, Rishi Sushi Kitchen & Bar is the perfect spot for you! The menu has something for everyone, including vegetarian options. If you're looking for something spicy, try the Columbus Roll - it's packing a punch!
In Columbus for OU parents weekend and wanted some Japanese food. The atmosphere here was great and a good selection of Japanese food favorites, including Sushi of course. It was nice to get out of the short North crowds. Would definitely come back next time we are in Columbus.
Brooks G — Google review
It's a beautiful restaurant, modern look and feel. Overall great service and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend the Plum & Blackberry Mule, Lichi Saturn (Gin), or the Cherry Blossom (bourbon) cocktails. Wide selection of sushi options, with some of our favorites being the Fire Dragon, Alaskan Volcano, and the Columbus roll. If you're not a sushi person, they do have other offerings such as Ramen and Noodle bowls, and stir fry. *Please Note - they don't offer fried rice, and the dish aren't spicy/bland side
Amit P — Google review
I stopped by a sushi restaurant within walking distance of my hotel for a quick late-night bite. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. I took a seat at the bar and quickly connected with the bartender, Brandan, who was super sweet and welcoming. I ordered my usual à la carte sashimi favorites—Salmon (Sake), Mackerel (Saba), and White Tuna (Shiro Maguro)—along with the Spider King Roll (soft-shell crab tempura). The sushi was fresh and flavorful, though the soft-shell crab was slightly over-fried, which made it difficult to taste. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
Rae H — Google review
There are no AC during our visit and the restaurant was a bit warm. I hesitated to order any raw fish, so we just ordered cooked sushi. Expensive and small portions.
John — Google review
This sushi place had a beautiful dining room and great food. Their happy hour menu was changing every weekday. Monday and Tuesday had some sushi deals. Wednesday and Thursday had drinks deals. I tried their Rishi ramen and nigiri pieces. The eel nigiri was impressive with grilled bbq sauce. The squid one was mediocre. The ramen was a little bland without protein. There were spinach and mushroom, and the ramen had a good quality. My servers were great. The price was a little high. WiFi was not available.
Vincent L — Google review
Our experience was a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere, and good service, but subpar food. Especially for the price, we expected more. The beef bulgolgi meat was not quality, and only came with onions and mostly rice. The eel and avacado roll didn't have much eel. Lots of avacado though. Nothing tasted horrible, if the price was lowered by $5, quality of food would be worth it.
Emily P — Google review
My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary for the first time. When we arrived, they seated us quickly and gave us our menus. They brought us out ice waters as well. Everything we ordered came out pretty fast paced and we ordered quite a few things we have been wanting to try. Everything tasted great in my opinion! Would go back again!
Faith S — Google review
We went into Rishi tonight 9/26/2025 at 6:45 PM and the bartender from the moment we walked in was rude. Rude to the point where we will never go into Rishi ever again. When we walked in we said we wanted a to go order, and he stated it would take ten minutes, and then afterwards said it would take over an hour to get your food. At no point was he apologetic or explained the situation. He was just unhappy that we even walked in. We overall liked Rishi, but because of one person, we will never be back. We also live downtown and have never been treated with such disrespect.

The Slurping Turtle is a ramen restaurant that has great food and great service. They are open on Sundays, which is perfect for when you're looking for a unique dinner experience. The staff is polite and the music is great, ranging from 90's R&B to current pop hits. The ramen itself is amazing, with flavors that will leave you wanting more.
We always enjoy the Slurping Turtle. The sushi presentation is always done well. There’s better sushi options in Columbus but they do have fun and unique rolls.
Luke — Google review
I visited Slurping Turtle in Columbus on June 13 with my young daughter. Unfortunately, we found a strand of hair in her ramen. The server was polite and promptly replaced the dish, which I appreciated. However, the restaurant still charged us the full price for that ramen, and there was no gesture of goodwill or further apology from the management. I was expecting more care and accountability, especially when it involves food hygiene for a child. I hope the restaurant will take this feedback constructively and improve both cleanliness and customer service going forward.
Sila G — Google review
My mom, kids and I went to the slurping turtle when we flew from NM. Amazing! The staff was friendly and accommodating especially when we decided to move inside from being seated outside. Food was amazing! Service was excellent, when we’re back in Columbus we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Flipping phenomenal place! Their sushi options are minimal, however their ramen is amazing 🤩! You must try! I had mine #4 spicy and it's was great DFFC miso ramen [spicy] duck fat fried chicken, bean sprouts, kimchi, buttered corn, molten egg, scallions, sesame seeds, chili flakes, chili oil.
Heather H — Google review
Was in town for a bit over a week for work and went twice. There are a ton of great options in the Easton area, but it was so good we just had to go back again and miss trying something else new. I dont think there is a bad choice on the menu. Our party raved about the Ramen bowls, and I sampled a wide range of sushi. I struggled to get pictures before we dove in, but the sushi rolls are works of art as much as they are delicious. The staff are friendly am attentive and everything is nice and clean. We hit dinner hours through the week and never had to wait more than a minute or two for a table and food came out quickly. This is very much a local destination!

I'm a longtime Tensuke stan, but i have to give it Slurp. I ordered the spicy miso with fried chicken. It was spicy without smothering me in heat and combined well with the fat and savory flavors in the other ingredients. Turns out im not a fan of the texture of soggy fried chicken lol but the taste was impeccable. The Pink Lady roll was as fresh as Tensuke sushi, and close to the quality, so that impressed me. The roll itself was one i hadnt seen other places and it was delightful and creative. Service was great too. They were fairly busy when we walked in, but we were seated quickly and the server was passionate and helpful. It did take a bit for a roll to come out, but it wasnt an overly long wait. Im fairly patient. The ramen did follow the sushi within 10 minutes. I would return 100%, but maybe get the fried chicken on the side.

Takoyaki and ramen both one of our favorites. Though the takoyaki didn't come out right away; a new experience of having it with leftover broth was an experience. Service was wonderful, it was crowded, but not overwhelming. The bathrooms are in need of some attention for maintenance.

We absolute love this place. We’ve gone during busy hours, we’ve gone when it was a bit slower, and each time we were seated quickly and service was amazing. Everyone that works there has been nothing but kind and attentive, and the foot is amazing. Coming from two people that work in food service (a server and a cook) we’re always impressed when we come in. I believe the server we had last time we were in was Chelsea? I’m hoping that’s the right name cause she was completely fantastic and we left talking about how great her service was. From the front of house to the back we have nothing but good things to say, food and drinks are outstanding and we love coming here :)

Japanese restaurant
Satori Ramen Bar in Ohio offers a variety of ramen dishes, including the Yuzu Soy Mazemen with sweet Japanese yuzu soy dressing and pork. They also serve savory chicken broth-based ramen options. The restaurant is located inside a market, providing a unique dining experience. Customers praise the authentic flavors of dishes like Katsu and Japanese curry, as well as the polite staff and fast service.
Staff was very friendly and the food was fresh. Thank you! I got chashu Don since I wasn't feeling soup and it was perfectly crispy, seasoned, and the rice was fresh. I would have preferred more pickled ginger but I just like ginger. I'll remember to ask for extra next time!
Llyallowyn — Google review
My very honest opinion is that this ramen is the most bland I’ve ever tasted and I couldn’t eat it all. I enjoy ramen a lot but this was not the right place to go for me. I went through the reviews and I saw the Paitan Chicken was good so I gave it a try, but it lacked flavor for sure! Even if you don’t add soy sauce etc. to it, the broth should already have some flavor. I would’ve went back to let them know but I had a time limit plus there were too many people standing around the area. Other than that the service was good and atmosphere of that area is okay. It’s placed near the entrance/exit so expect there to be people in the way and cutting through you and others.
TML — Google review
The ramen was just ok. The noodles themselves were cooked well but the Patajn (#2) was bland. Not even the schmaltz on top could save this flavor lacking soup. The Karagi chicken were very fatty too. No bueno. Most likely won’t be back.
Darren C — Google review
This was overall a disappointing meal for me. The broth lacked the flavor that tonkatsu is known for, and the chasu was only cooked on one side, which I've... literally never seen before. Because of this, the bowl was overly oily and the chasu lacked flavor as well. The redeeming points were that the ajitama was done very well and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Overall, the food was disappointing and not worth the price. I do give them props for keeping the menu prices relatively stable, however it ultimately was not worth the money for me.

Incredible service and even more incredible food! Such a peaceful atmosphere to have lunch! Will definitely visit every time we come to Columbus!
Kayla H — Google review
Went in blind, and shared the same experience a lot of other reviewers had. Had the tonkatsu ramen; everything was super bland besides the broth, the egg was super overdone, the noodles seemed out of the box. Wouldn’t be worth it if it was half the price.
Zak Y — Google review
A busy market will have busy people, and busy people need quick and delicious ramen. I have sampled each flavor from Satori and I enjoy just about all of them. I do think the miso ramen could be smoother, as I have to really stir/shake it up, but that does show that it is legit miso and fresh. The croquets are tiny, crunchy pieces of heaven that warm the soul. I love getting lunch here. I think some nutritional information would be nice, unless I am missing it. Minor issues, but mostly mine.
BlueFlame17 — Google review
Ordered the spicy ramen. It came with cut up pork chunks that was mostly fat. Ordered the magma level of spice, no heat. The noodles didn't seem like they were cooked long enough. The egg was good though. Probably won't be back. Glad its located in the north market so if anyone recommends going to this ramen bar I have plenty of other places to choose from.

Nestled in a bustling area of Clintonville, Kirin Noodle Bar offers a cozy spot to indulge in comforting bowls of shoyu, miso, or their signature tan tan men ramen. The long and narrow space provides a warm atmosphere for enjoying their delectable sushi offerings as well. Despite being busy with both dine-in and takeout orders, the attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience.
My second time here. The first time the chef made time to come speak with me and make me something special due to a severe allergy I have. The sushi was phenomenal. Today the waitress asked me some questions about my taste preferences and made an excellent suggestion. Value is excellent as well!

Stumbled upon this gem looking for another restaurant while in Ohio for a wedding. So glad we did. This is hands down the best ramen I have ever had. I ordered the Tan Tan broth. The amount of flavor this had was perfect. Highly recommend giving it a try whether you are a local or just visiting like me.

This place has an extensive menu of ramen, dry noodle, and rice dishes, along with plenty sushi and Japanese staple appetizers. It exceeded my expectations. I made a quick takeout order one evening; you can conveniently order ahead online. I just went with the seafood salad and a rainbow roll. They had very fresh seafood on both. The roll was decent 6/10 quality for me.. a little smaller than your average, and it was falling apart a little bit. The salad had a delicious sesame dressing that paried well with everything else, and it was a good portion of seafood for the price. I'd be willing to come back and try more of the menu; there's good potential!

I really like their sushi. We got a green dragon and a shaggy dog roll. Along with goyza. The menu has pictures which I like. It was a nice treat but 2 rolls and the goyza didn't fill my husband and I but satisfied us for a time. We sat outside so service was slow. The first time we sat inside and had good service but were the only ones there. We didn't like the main dish we got that time which had curry in it but loved the sushi so we went back.

my partner and i have been going to kirin noodle bar pretty regularly for about a year now, and with such a wide array of restaurants to choose from in columbus, it says a lot that we keep coming back to kirin over and over again! all the food is phenomenal (i get the golden lava buns every single time), and i would go as far as saying they have some of the best ramen in central columbus. all their food is portioned generously with great prices as well. their drinks are delicious, with happy hour being from 3pm-6pm (some non-alcoholic teas are included in it!) i usually get the strawberry mojito, but during happy hour my go-to is the black orchid (pictured below!) the staff is incredibly friendly and professional, i always look forward to the service and menu recommendations from them. everything about kirin noodle bar feels top notch and high-end while staying at a great price point. i always recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family visiting!

I had the spicy miso Ramen, noodles are perfectly bouncy and soak up every drop of flavor, no marinated egg or nori though which was a surprise. Service is friendly, the portions are generous, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the ideal spot to savor that perfect bowl on a chilly day.

First time having dinner at this restaurant, and overall a nice experience! It’s a cute little space with a cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and even a small outdoor dining area. We ordered the Raksa curry noodles, Tan Tan Men, and shared an order of Xiaolong Bao (juicy pork dumplings). I assumed the "Raksa" was similar to "Laksa" (the Southeast Asian coconut curry noodle soup), so I expected a Malaysian or Singaporean-style dish — creamy, spicy, and rich with coconut milk. But it turned out to be more like a Japanese-style curry: warm, thick, mildly spiced, and comforting. Still enjoyable, just not what I had in mind. The Tan Tan Men was tasty — definitely the Japanese version, not the Chinese style. As for the Xiaolong Bao, they were just okay. The skin was quite delicate and broke easily, causing the soup to leak out, and they seemed like they might’ve been frozen or factory-made. That said, I’d definitely go back to try more of their noodle dishes. A nice little spot worth revisiting!

Finally made it over to Red Rabbit! They have a small, hand crafted menu of delicious ramens. I’ve tried the TanTan and the Curry, both with pork belly, and they were both out of this world. And the charred shishito peppers are a fun addition. Location is EXCELLENT, as it shares a space with Echo Spirits Distilling Co, so you can pair your ramen up with a next level cocktail ((or mocktail)). Xavy and Blaine are the nicest humans ever and I’ll definitely be back soon!

Update! We finally grabbed some ramen from the new management and it was just as good!!! Everything is absolutely delicious!!!! So so so fresh! The ramen is perfect to warm up on a cold day! (We got one of each, they were all great! The spicy ones definitely have a kick!) We also got the Shishito Peppers Yakitori and Chicken Yakitori but those were devoured before I could get a photo haha very good. But also the Yaki Ongiri?!?! I didn't know rice balls could be that scrumptious.

The best ramen place is Columbus but unfortunately they are going to close very soon. I have tried vegetarian ramen at many restaurants in Columbus and none of those places come anywhere close to this place in taste. The broth was very flavourful and creamy. Cannot recommend this place enough to all the ramen lovers. My wife does not like ramen but even she liked this place. I hope that they sell this place to people who would run it well. Fingers crossed.

Easily one of the best meals I've had in Columbus. Fantastic ramen (recommend the spicy miso or kimchi ramen) with a surprisingly flavorful oat milk based vegan broth. They do not skimp out on Chashu (which are thick and have great umami), and the noodles have a nice chewy texture. Be sure to try the yakitori as well. Has a wonderful smoky aroma that can contend with any izakaya in Japan. Columbus is very lucky to have such an awesome ramen spot, and it's a yatai to boot!

Fish was amazing! They had a variety of more uncommon fish all were super fresh. If you prefer traditional sushi and focus on sashimi then this place is for you. Spent about $200 with tip mostly sashimi so we tried a good variety. Will be going back.

Had an exquisite dinner at Akai Hana. The king salmon nigiri truly melted in my mouth and was the single best bite. Service was absolutely perfect and so attentive. We visited on a Saturday night around 8pm and didn't have to wait. I would definitely recommend the sushi and the entrees, will have to come back and try more things on the extensive menu.

Voted the best sushi in Columbus year after year for a reason. Impeccable selection of sushi, Korean dishes, appetizers, saki, and much more. The service is also much more involved than similar style restaurants in the greater Columbus area. Several suggestions were made based on taste preferences and the overall experience was just 5 stars as a whole. The place was absolutely packed on a Tuesday night so that says a lot! Also by far the best fatty tuna I’ve had in Columbus by far. Can’t wait to return many times over!

If you're looking for fresh sushi in Ohio, this place is a gem! You can really trust the quality of the fish - I've never had any issues. I'm usually a little hesitant about eating raw fish, especially since we're not near the coast, but they handle their ingredients really well. Everything tastes super fresh. My favorite rolls are: Tuna Bliss B, red dragon, rainbow, spicy scallops(just less mayo). Their king salmon sashimi is 😚 I've recently tried their Korean dishes, the Bulgogi and Kal Bi and they were both wonderful. Edamame is great too. Wasn't too impressed with vegetable spring rolls but they weren't bad. Place is always busy, service remains top notch even during busy times, the staff is kind and professional.

This is absolutely one of our favorites in Columbus. We have been coming here for years. I do miss the warm towels, but everything else is still amazing. My favorites are the asparagus roll and the sweet potato roll, and inari. We love the spring rolls and veggie tempura. We have a few servers that we like the most, but haven’t had one that is bad. Tonight, our reservations were for 4pm. It was quite empty, more so than usual, and we were out by 5:15. The food was wonderful. I would’ve liked to see our server a little more than he was around, as it would’ve been great to get a second glass of plum wine. But, of course we will be back!

Momo Ghar North Market is a cozy Nepalese eatery located in the bustling North Market Downtown. Originally based out of Saraga International Market, it has gained popularity for its authentic Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine, particularly its mouthwatering dumplings known as momos. The menu features a variety of options including traditional chicken and vegetable momos, as well as more adventurous choices like goat and buff (water buffalo) momos.
Delicious Mongolian style dumplings. We tried the signature Momo and a chicken momo, liked both but preferred the one with the pork more. Great customer service, the lady out front even taught us how to properly eat Momo. You need to create a little hole on the dumpling, and then pour the soup in then eat it. Yum Reasonably priced. Great location, inside the North Market of Columbus downtown area. With parking garage close by. Highly recommend by @WineDinenVacay

Despite all of the negative reviews about this place I’ve always had a great experience here. Vendors come and go in the north market but Momo Ghar has always been consistent for me every time I’ve gone. I think the dumplings are adequately sized and filled and while the fillings could be a bit more flavorful, I mostly return for the consistency and friendliness every time. Look forward to returning.

Unbelievably delicious! We had the momo sampler and it was the perfect amount of food and a taste of the unique flavor profiles. The dipping sauce and fresh spicy sauce were perfect compliments and be sure to grab some flatbread to soak up all the wonder at the end!

Solid momos. I had the potato option per the cashier's recommendation. Love having more than one thing to choose from as a vegetarian. Reasonable pricing. Can take a few minutes for the food to be prepped. 3 stools available for eating at the stall.

Momo Ghar has good quality dumplings. We had the half and half Jhol momo and Tibetan momo with the given dipping sauce cup. Overall, we very much enjoyed both choices. The filling was juicy and well stuffed. The sauce was almost like a vegetable soup but very yummy and paired with the entree.
Peyton S — Google review
Hidden inside North Market, this little Nepali spot blew me away. The momos (dumplings) came piping hot, stuffed with spiced pork, and dipped in a tangy tomato sauce. It feels casual, a bit crowded, but the food has so much heart — kinda addictive actually.

When searching for a sushi spot for date night, we stumbled upon Sushi.com. The name didn’t initially give off the best vibe, but after reading some reviews, we decided to give it a try. And we’re so glad we did! The sushi was absolute perfection. We ordered our signature items; miso soup, Agedashi tofu, and a Philly roll. We decided to try one of their special rolls as well and I have to say, it was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. The crab mixture was incredible, and the cucumber slices added such a delightful texture. As visitors from Hawaii, we won’t be back until our next trip to Ohio, but I highly recommend this spot! The ambiance was relaxing, and the service was excellent.

Sushi.com is the BOMB.com! Fantastic sushi, in an amazing environment/atmosphere with even better service. Everything f here is top notch - spend 2 minutes talking with the owner and you will quickly see why sushi.com is so outstanding. I live in ATL and was here for a dinner with some colleagues but if I lived in Dublin, I would likely eat here multiple times a week. I have to say that the beef tataki was something new and one of my favorite things we tried. The Ahi (chefs special role) is legendary. Maybe top 5 sushi dishes I’ve ever had.

Great sushi but I ordered $100 worth of sushi take out (5 rolls), pay $3.75 for eel sauce and only got two soy sauce containers a quarter full. Very dissatisfied. You would expect at least a soy sauce per roll. We are 5 people sharing two small containers.

Sushi was good, not great, and a bit expensive obviously. It’s convenient if you live in Dublin. We ordered four special rolls: Godzilla, Volcano, Mexican, and a spicy something roll that had mango in it. The spicy roll was the favorite. Service was friendly.

I love getting takeout though as of lately and it has been absolutely great. Great price for sushi! Especially if you do the maki lunch. Definitely recommend for sushi lovers!
Alexis C — Google review
I hadn't visited there in a few years or so. Had the owner changed? I was shocked at the deterioration in quality when I had lunch just recently. The sushi at this restaurant used to be a very satisfying size and taste, both the rice and the ingredients. The sushi at this time was half the size it used to be and the fish was not as fresh as it used to be. About two thirds of the rice was dried out, and the rice was generally tasteless, hard, and not all of it was edible. The dumplings were so crispy it was like eating crackers. Miso soup usually comes first, but the waiter brought it to us as if he just remembered when we had finished eating everything. When we left the restaurant, they didn't say thank you, have a nice day, or anything like that. Worst quality, worst service, will never go back. Horrible! I want my money back!

It is known to be a hidden gem among locals who enjoy pho. With four stars on Yelp from 210 reviews, Mi Li Cafe has gained popularity for its tasty Vietnamese cuisine.
As pho lovers, this place is the best I’ve found in Columbus so far. The herbs are spot on, reminding me of the many pho spots I’ve tried in Little Saigon, CA. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu! In the picture: Combination Pho, Egg Rolls and Vietnamese coffee. The waiters are very friendly and full of smiles.

Placed an order for carry out pho on a Sunday afternoon and it was ready in 10 min. Very authentic Vietnamese food, everyone in the back was asian (which is generally a great sign) and several parties of other Asians walked in at the same time as myself (which is double whammy guaranteed authentic good food)… and it was exactly that. Good portions, reasonable pricing, authentic, broth was a little on the sweeter side but still really good. Will be back.

Chinese restaurant
Jiu Thai Asian Cafe may have a misleading name, but it's actually a fantastic Chinese restaurant that specializes in the cuisine of Shaanxi, a province in Northwest/North-central China. The menu features fiery and flavorful dishes like Biang Biang noodles and Xi'an steamed cold noodles, both made with scratch-made noodles and packed with bold flavors. In addition to barbecue skewers, the restaurant's hand-pulled noodles are a standout offering.
Very much authentic northwest Chinese cuisine: noodle specialties! And many more other dishes: most of them are marked as spicy, but chef can accommodate the mild or non-spicy request for most of them. Service is great, too!

LOVE this place. I've been going to it on and off for years. It had been a while since I'd visited, so decided to with my mother. The decor was updated--looks GREAT. I was concerned my favorite dish (Tiger Tofu) would either be off the menu, or possibly "adjusted" by new chefs. Nope! It tasted just as amazing as day one/my first time having it. By far THE best tofu dish I've ever had, and I've tried a gazillion. Their hot and sour soup is great, too, although I personally prefer more "kick". They do give you a large bowl of it, though. My mother ordered the chicken-n-broccoli. Was very fresh and tasty, although she did say the chicken seemed fattier than prior visits. (One suggestion: Include knives with the cutlery; my mom likes to cut her broccoli into smaller pieces.) Regardless, the overall experience was great, and I'll visit again, of course.

This is such an inviting resturant with some really good food. They have a good variety of traditional and “Americanized” favorites. We ordered the Tiger tofu & the chicken pad Thai during lunch which came out quickly, pipping hot and delicious. Both dishes were so savory and all the ingredients were really fresh. The tofu was the crispiest tofu I’ve had in Columbus while still being smothered in that umami sauce. The service was excellent, they were very attentive. I definitely recommend going during lunch. Their specials were so well priced with very generous portions. I cannot wait to go back and get the hand pulled noodles that everyone raves about and piece of that amazing looking crepe cake!

Awesome Chinese Noodles and BBQ spot. Food was excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious. 😋 Great service and atmosphere. Love this place. ❤

The Bigguy noodle soup with roast pork was so amazing, delicious, and really big! I loved the broth and hand stretched Chinese noodles. Next time I want to try this with tofu skin. The food is authentic, you can't get these flavors at just any place - and they are so good! We also had the lamb dumplings, lamb sandwich, fish tofu skewers, chicken vegetable soup with hand stretched noodles, Mando crepe cake and macarons. Also had tiger tofu stir fry and chicken with general tso sauce. All delicious.

Got takeout, it was a generous portion and really tasty. Picture doesn’t do it justice sorry haha Peanuts on the side so they don’t get soggy = bonus points. I tried the Bamboo Thai place across the street to the north and it was a little dry, this place is better!

Fast friendly service. Our server answered our questions and helped make decisions. The Biang Biang noodles were delicious. I will definitely return to try other dishes

I have been here several times. I like their lamb soup noodle the most. It tastes authentic and great but not as impressive as a fancy Chinese place. Their soup or fried noodles are highly recommended.

Nestled in a contemporary setting near Polaris, Wild Ginger stands out as a beloved informal restaurant and bar that specializes in an enticing blend of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine. This culinary gem offers an extensive menu featuring everything from appetizers to sushi, ensuring there's something for everyone. Diners rave about the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service that enhance their dining experience. Vegetarian and vegan options abound at Wild Ginger, making it a fantastic choice for those seeking plant-based meals without sacrificing flavor.
This Asian fusion restaurant surprised me. Their service was fast and friendly. WiFi was fast. There were many items in the menu with a reasonable price, including sushi. I ordered the Thai curry entree serving with authentic hot and sour soup. The green curry tasted amazing with creamy curry and various vegetables. It could be the best green curry I’ve ever had in Columbus.

I walked in and immediately felt an off vibe. Regardless, I pushed through and sat down. Although there were open booths between other customers and bar seating, I was seated by myself far away from the other patrons. I ordered the Dinosaur egg because it sounded interesting; it was rather disappointing. Too many flavors competing to present themselves to the palate. For my drink, both times I got a sprite, the syrup was missing so they had a machine issue. The rolls I got were a mixed experience. The one with shrimp tempura was good. Nice balance of flavors, decent sauce, and well prepared. The POPCORN SHRIMP roll however treated extremely soggy. No real flavor stood out. It was just a mushy cushion for the popcorn shrimp. For about 50 bucks didn't feel worth it. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool, would've given it a 5 if half the patrons in there didn't look at me like I drank from the wrong water fountain.

My wife and I have visited here twice and both times have loved the food. The Miso soup is delicious and it takes you straight to Osaka. The General Tso’s is made of all white meat, breaded and glazed with a beautiful sauce that is one of the best in central Ohio. The Combination Noodle Soup was excellent and packed with protein. If you are looking for a good sit down restaurant, in a quiet setting, this is a place you should consider

Hadn't been in a while and I have to say this is still one of the best sushi restaurants in Columbus. The ingredients taste so fresh and the prices are good. The service is very friendly and attentive. We got 3 different rolls and I got the ice cream dessert for my son - it was all beautiful and tasted great

The Wild Ginger is located in Hilliard, OH next to BW3s. This restaurant is beautiful from the moment you walk in! There's a beautiful full scale wood finished bar and Sushi Bar too. My wife had the Monster Roll and it was excellent, the mango was fresh and the ingredients too. I had the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken and the Hottie Roll. The spice although listed as a spicy dish and Sushi roll was too tame. The roll and the dish I had tasted fantastic though and I would definitely get the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles again.

Hiro Ramen & Tea is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience with robot servers. You can order your food and drinks by scanning a QR code at your table, and then enjoy the novelty of having them served by friendly robots. The Black Garlic Ramen is highly recommended, featuring a flavorful combination of rich pork bone broth, pork belly, ajitsuke egg, bamboo shoots, scallions, bok choy, garlic chips, and black garlic oil.
We had a great experience at Hiro Ramen! The robot waiter was a huge hit — especially with the kids — and added such a fun and unique touch to the meal. All of the food was absolutely delicious, from the ramen to the appetizers. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for families. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Eleni P — Google review
Completly self service restaurant, you go to your table and scan a QR code to order from a website, then the robot brings your food. Utensils, water, etc are all self-service. Pork belly buns were yummy ($9). Also got the Black Garlic Ramen and Grilled Chicken Ramen (~$15). Meats in the ramen were kind of dry, especially the pork belly. It almost tasted like stale bacon rather than a juicy-slow-cooked pork belly. Chicken was decent and well seasoned. Bok choy in my ramen was undercooked which made it very bitter and hard. Wish there were more variety of toppings on the ramen like other places! Broth was flavorful and hot, and the noodles had a great chew. Overall a decent ramen restaurant that I was glad to try for a quick meal but nothing spectacular! I would give this a 3.5⭐️, but I’ll round it up to 4.

The mango tea was amazing! All the food was hot and came out quickly, and the robot is adorable. You don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to, but the employees are so nice! Good portion sizes 🍜

One of the best ramen spots in Ohio! The broth is rich, flavorful, and comforting—especially the Black Garlic Ramen. Portions are generous, toppings fresh, and the gyoza and takoyaki are a must-try. The robot servers add a fun, unique twist to the experience. While spice levels can be a bit tame, the overall quality and variety make Hiro stand out. Definitely worth a visit if you love ram

So we got the Spicy Miso Pork Belly Ramen (chef’s kiss), Pork Belly Cheesy Fries and Pork Belly Buns (set of 2). Plenty of free parking, great location, friendly staff and clean restaurant. They have a robot to serve you if you dine in. Meat is tender and food is delicious and flavorful. So much so, we chose to eat here both Friday AND Saturday 🍜 Pork belly here is amazing. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
PJ F — Google review
The food here is fantastic, it comes to the table fast, and by robot. It’s pretty self serve. You order through a QR code on your phone, you get your own drinks and condiments, you bus your own table. I was surprised to see that a tip was expected when we interacted with zero people, just my phone and a robot. It won’t stop me from coming back. It’s definitely an older building that clearly used to be a fast food joint but who cares? It’s great food, fast, at good prices. Plenty of parking.

Very nice ramen restaurant in Columbus, Ohio! We ordered gyoza, pork belly buns, vegetarian ramen and tonkotsu ramen. All were delicious. The robot who delivered our food is so cute. (Sorry, we put dirty dishes on. Didn’t realize until afterwards.) The staff at the front counter are friendly and helpful and we ordered from them. They also have good bubble tea.

Chinese noodle restaurant
Noodle shop
Nestled in a bustling plaza, Xi Xia Chinese Cuisine stands out as a gem for those seeking authentic flavors from Northwestern China. The restaurant is renowned for its handmade noodles, which are the star of their signature Dapanji dish. This delightful creation features thick and chewy noodles paired with succulent bone-in chicken legs, all enveloped in a house special hot sauce that adds an addictive kick.
We went here twice. The first time was a weekend late afternoon. We were the only ones there at that time. The server told us about the scanning the QR code for the menu and was super attentive. We ordered the pork rice bowl and the spicy beef noodle soup. The pork rice bowl was similar to Lu Roy Fan (Taiwanese Braised Pork Bowl) but of course a little different since I don’t think it’s supposed to be the same exact thing. It was perfectly savory and sweet. The meat was tender and the sauce was excellent with rice. The beef noodle soup was perfectly spiced. The beef was tender. The noodles were a perfect texture. The second time we went was on a Saturday around lunch, about 30 minutes after they opened. We were able to get seated. But within 10 minutes, all but one table was filled. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken, Xi Xia stirred noodles, and the spicy beef noodle soup again. Once again, the spicy beef noodle soup was excellent, all the same comments as our first time. The Xi Xia Stirred Noodles had a sauce on the bottom and it was topped with spices. You stir it together. This has a little bit of a spice, but not as much as the soup. The sauce was a soy sauce base with oil and flavorful garlic and other spices/herbs. It was ever so slightly salty for me, but I tend to like a little less salt. The salt and pepper chicken wasn’t too salty nor too peppery. But it was just enough seasoning to add flavor, but not so much that it would cover the chicken taste. The chicken was excellently fried. Crisp, but not cut your mouth hard. The meat was also very tender. We had a different server this second time, but they were still very attentive. Though the tables filled it fast, the service was also very fast and the food came out even faster! This restaurant was ran super efficiently. Throughout the 30-45 minutes we there there, multiple tables were seated from start to finish while still keeping up with take out orders.

If you love authentic Chinese noodle dish (among other thing) you must try this place! The handmade noodles are chewy with great texture and the broth has great taste. Me and husbands tried just about everything (expect the “American style dish) on the menu and never disappointed! The salt and pepper chicken is one of the best, the spicy beef stew noodle is better than my mom’s (sorry mom 😅). Stewed pork over rice tastes just like what I used to have on the street back home when I was a kid. The people - so friendly and attentive, always take extra steps to make sure your order is correct (you order from ur phone) and everything comes out perfect. This is one of my regular Chinese fix joint

Came here for lunch after years of recommending and passing by. We mostly ordered their Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with Wide Noodles and Soy Egg. Gladly my relatives charged my mind. Everything seemed nice and hot as they were served, even for a hot humid day, but so worth the lunch. I would recommend the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup if you can handle the heat. Also, everyone who scans the QR code for each table will be adding menu items to the same order. Definitely a unique or one of a kind way of ordering food for all without using paper menus or cross contamination.

Nice authentic Chinese restaurant. I've tried several dishes and will return to try others. Nice little spot in an Asian plaza off Henderson road area. The blood soup had a mild flavor, the gizzards are served cold but are good but they do have a strong ginger presence, the Szechuan Spicy Chicken is served cold but has great flavor and tender chicken and the salt n pepper chicken were tender and seasoned well.
TQ D — Google review
Wonderful dishes to choose from with a wide variety. You order on your phone and don’t have to worry about talking with anyone. Small place so it can fill up fast but definitely worth it. Authentic foods with great proportions. Highly recommend for their hand pulled noodles which are amazing.

I ordered chicken lo mein with mixed vegetables added and this is the pitiful, dry, bland, meager portion i paid too much for. Mixed vegetables? There are two. The whole thing is dry and cheap. What a rip off. This place SUCKS. Barely any chicken either in there. While writing this review I have finished the "dish" and still hungry vastly unsatisfied. I think iill order the same thing from another Asian spot right now. There is no excuse for this garbage.

The first time I came here I ate all the noodles before I took a picture. So good. I've only tried the stir noodles so far but those by themselves are good enough to keep coming back here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to order. Just order on your phone and they bring it out to you.

The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen is highly recommended for its intense flavor and variety of toppings. In addition to their delicious ramen bowls, they also serve chashu buns, karaage, and gyoza.
We came here for lunch with my girlfriends and this place is truly a hole in the wall GEM!! :) We walk in and are greeted and seated immediately by their friendly staff, we looked over the menu and each ordered an appetizer: takoyaki, salt & pepper calamari and Kyushu karaage. They all tasted fantastic! The ramen came out and I couldn’t wait to dig in! By the end of the meal there was nothing left! Highly recommend! Everything was so flavorful and just overall a great ramen experience! I’ll def make the hour drive back for this place again!

I had been looking forward to trying this place for a couple days and it was soooo gooood and that ramen was definitely spicy 😅 I got the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen but with karaage. It was delicious, and the karaage bun and shrimp appetizer were amazing. Everything came out really fast and I liked watching the guy make the food from scratch on the TV. It was a chill place and very affordable. Will definitely be back 😁 (btw my photos aren’t the clearest due to the excitement I had to devour my meal, but they will suffice)

I had lunch at this ramen spot and was pleasantly surprised. It’s kinda hidden, I ordered the spicy ramen bowl, and it hit the perfect balance, not overwhelmingly hot, with the amount of kick to make it flavorful and satisfying. The food came out quickly, which made the experience even better, and the server was very attentive. The prices was reasonable for the quality and portion size. Between the fast service, great flavors, and fair pricing, this is definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone craving a good ramen experience.

If you're on the hunt for exceptional sushi, Oishii Japanese Bistro in Powell is a must-visit destination that has captured the hearts of many. This charming eatery offers an impressive selection of sushi, hibachi dishes, noodles, and fried rice that will tantalize your taste buds. Diners rave about their unique creations like the Dragon Eggs—deep-fried avocado filled with spicy kani and tuna drizzled with eel sauce—and the Rainbow Roll, which elevates traditional flavors to new heights.

Amazing food! I was doom scrolling on Facebook this morning and came across a video review of Oishii and my mind was made up that we were having lunch there today. 😜 The Dragon Eggs are what immediately caught my attention and they were amazing! Who doesn’t love deep fried avocado stuffed with spicy kani, spicy tuna, eel sauce and spicy mayo? We also slammed on a Rainbow Roll which is Kani, avocado, cucumber, and masago topped with assorted fish. It reminded me of a California roll on steroids. Fresh and satisfying! Next was the Sweetheart Roll which is shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, spicy tuna with soy paper & spicy mayo on the side. 😍I think these were my favorite! We had to order the Katsu Chicken to have for dinner later. Ofcourse we sampled it while we were there and it’s phenomenal! White meat chicken breast pressed flat and lightly fried with panko bread crumbs, fried rice and mushroom soup. The place was busy and the staff managed it well. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to come back!

We went for Sunday dinner. Apparently they only have a beer liquor license for Sunday. HUGE Turn off My wife & I enjoy hot sake with our sushi. The prominent drink menu on the sushi bar didn’t help 😡 We enjoy sitting at the sushi bar to watch the action. This was the SADDEST sushi bar I’ve seen yet. There was practically no fish displayed and what we saw wasn’t appealing or presented well. It wasn’t busy but still took awhile together our food. The wasabi portion given was ridiculously tiny, we had to ask for more. My tamago egg tasted like cold wet sponge 🧽 uggh. The inari was tasty but understuffed with rice. The edamame was tasty & fried gyoza 🥟 was good. Overall pretty basic, nothing special about this place. Our first time there. We probably won’t be back. They’re are far better options nearby.

It's such a great little sushi restaurant, a little out of the way, but worth going for. I had the OMG roll, seafood roll, lady fingers, and a pineapple paradise martini. Everything tasted amazing. My only problem was the wait staff were rather inattentive and acted like they couldn't be bothered with us. I know what you're thinking: "It's because they were busy," but they weren't busy. There was only a handful of seated tables. All in all, I will go back for the food in hopes it was just a bad night for the servers.

Sakura Japanese Steak House is a hidden gem in the neighborhood, offering delicious hibachi cuisine and sushi. Despite its great food and knowledgeable, friendly staff, it's not always busy. Some visitors recommend visiting on weekends for a better experience. The Hibachi Filet Mignon and Crab Rangoon are particularly praised for their delicious flavors.
Super clean, lots of excitement from the hibachi grill. Delicious food . Been here a few times, they never disappoint.
Chris A — Google review
I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi meal in the dine in area. The waiter was kind and fast. I enjoyed the soup and salad. The food was terrible. I tried dumping sauce on it. I barely ate anything. When they asked if everything was ok, I told them about the bland and oily food. They got defensive and said it’s the same chef every night. I asked if I could get a discount since I did eat the salad and soup, and they took off a big 3 dollars off the 27 dollar meal. The lady kept badgering me about taking food home, and I had to hurry to the bathroom and was sick from all the oil. I’m disappointed in how I was treated and the food. I will not return.

Not the restaurant, door dash. I placed an order, very quickly I changed my mind. I cotlntacted both the driver and door dash. Both refused to cancel the order. When I finally got it, the food wasn't fresh, my medium rare steak was well done, my 70 dollar food was cold, and the only thing my dasher could he bothered with, was the Pic to Make sure it was delivered. Will never use this service again

*Update -I told the server about everything being wrong when she finally came back asked if I wanted a box. I told her she should have her manager atleast take off my meal since I didn't eat it and it was all wrong. She said ok. Came back with the full bill. We just paid and left. Will never be back and highly advise you do the same. * I chose this steakhouse because of the ratings so felt it was only fair to leave mine after our experience. Long story short, our server seemed upset we weren’t a full table, forgot our drink order, wasn’t happy when we had to ask again for the missing drink, got our food order wrong which of course we had no way of knowing and can’t be fixed once the chef has made it and it’s put in front of you. We both ordered full filet meals, appetizers and drinks , so nothing too cheap. Server never came back to refill drinks or check in, still here, 20 minutes after food service and she still isn’t back to offer boxes or get a check. I worked for 2 Japanese steak houses. I’m not picky or one to complain but I know the routine. This place really just isn’t it. Over priced for the wrong food and an awkward experience. Atleast that was my experience.

Visitors have praised the friendly staff and flavorful food. One reviewer appreciated the simplicity of the menu and recommended trying the udon noodles, tempura mushroom, and tempura eggplant.
I really love the food here, even though it is a bit harder for me with a sesame seed allergy. They have a really great selection of drinks, gimbap and kimchi that you can grab and buy, which I like. The pictures I have posted are all taken at various times, so I'm not quite sure if thise items are still around, but I'm guessing they are. Anyways, this is a great choice for food at the East market.

Bulgogi Bibimbap was a little pricy but it’s expected for the location due to the venue rental cost. At East Market you have so many fun food options to try in one place. The gochujang was sweeter and less spicy than the authentic flavor I am used to but still the beef was marinated well and the healthy veggie ingredients come together well. I’m grateful for the Korean, Japanese and fusion food they offer along with exciting drink options like Korean banana milk, tonic and sparking soda like watermelon soda. The staff was very kind.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant, and I ordered the pork dish of KATSUDON which was incredibly delicious. It offered a very unique taste that I've never experienced before. Then, a customer recommended the fried mushrooms to me, which turned out to be an excellent suggestion. When I bit into them, the mushrooms were very juicy and full-flavored, delicious indeed. There is always plenty of seating in the market, and plenty of parking (though you may need to park near local cantina). Love this place more than my vocabulary can express, the spam bowl has raised my standards for food forever.

Man, what a gem of a food stall Koso is! I fell in love with their whole menu and I keep coming back for more. The tteokbokki and udon are just right for a comfy cozy day, and the service is always so friendly. No matter which East Market stall I decide to get my lunch from, I always stop by Koso for some spicy daikon and onigiri to take home for dinner. Ask for a punch card because you will be back!

I love the food here. Especially their doshirak lunchbox. I have gotten their bulgogi onigiri many times and it is always satisfying. Food is all cooked fresh and they have manga to read while you're waiting!

Highly recommend. Reminds me of my time when I lived in Japan for a few years. I've had the bulgogi/katsudan rice bowl and multiple of their onigiri. Expect to spend 10-20$ per person The other nice thing about this place is if your going with friends there are like 10-15 other places to order if they are not interested in what they have(they are crazy if they don't go koso though)

Ramen restaurant
If you're wandering around downtown Columbus and craving something delicious, look no further than the Capital Ramen Food Truck. This mobile eatery offers a delightful twist on traditional ramen, featuring flavorful options like pork belly and soy mirin eggs that are sure to impress even the most discerning palates. But that's not all! The menu also includes unexpected treats such as chili dogs, wraps, tacos, and chicken dumplings—perfect for those who might not be huge fans of ramen.
I got the chicken ramen bowl (no egg) and it was delicious! I ordered through street food finder and got a text when it was ready, right on time and hot. It had a lot of flavor and filled with tender chicken.

I didn't expect a food truck called Capital Ramen to have the best chili dogs I've ever had... I'm not a big ramen guy, which could be because my extensive experience with ramen extends to packaged ramen you heat up at home. So when this food truck was in the area, I figured I'd best stick to my lunch. One of my colleagues advised me that they have chilli dogs on their menu. In disbelief, I looked through their menu; they have wraps, tacos, chicken dumplings, hot dogs and chilli dogs! I wasn't sure what to expect for $11. Only after I ordered and received my 2 chilli dogs did I realize I got a deal. These were good sized grilled beef hot dogs covered in beef chilli, topped with shredded cheddar, red and green onions. Absolutely plastered in spicy mustard, sweet relish, ketchup and Hawaiian BBQ. They looked AMAZING (check out my picture!), and they tasted even better. These immediately became my favorite chilli dogs, and I'll always be on the look out for this food truck next time they're in the area!

They had 1 choice of ramen and it was not good. The egg was over cooked, the ramen broth tasted more like a plain chicken stock or soup rather than an actual ramen broth. Not a lot of flavor in general. The chicken being shredded threw me off as well, not a lot of seasoning on it.
Dakota A — Google review
As someone who loves ramen, this wasn't even close to the best I've ever had. There was a thick and noticeable layer of oil on top of the broth which I almost never see from a premium bowl (or any other). It really made the whole experience a mess and quite off-putting. I think if I were to drink the broth afterwards, I wouldn't be able to keep it down. The pork bowl had bits of caramelized(?) pulled pork which were tasty but didn't really add much to the flavor. Also, the egg was just ok, a bit gritty and bland. I feel bad posting this because the dumplings were delicious, but for a $12 bowl, you're better off just buying a packet of Shin Black ramen at the grocery for $2.49. The owners seem really nice and I hope they increase the quality or decrease the price of their ramen because it just wasn't good.

If you have experienced authentic ramen then this is not the food for you. They say they use pork belly but they use pulled pork. Very poor quality, I'd suggest instant ramen before trying this. Plus they serve tacos and hotdogs? This the strangest combination of food I've ever seen.

Best Ramen in town. I love the soy mirin eggs, and pork belly that come with it! Not sure what these other reviews are all about. You guys need to get your taste buds checked if this wasn't a 5 star experience! Plus the owners are super nice!
Chad B — Google review
The pork ramen is very flavourful, but I recommend to not drink the broth because it's very fatty and I'd also add in the hot peppers for spice. But overall was really good
Aubree W — Google review
The two people working the truck were friendly however the food was very disappointing. I got the pork ramen and the flavor was just not very good. Service is probably 4/5 while taste is 2/5.
