I have visited north market to get some dinner when I was in Columbus. I went there twice actually. They have a variety of food options to consider including Jeni’s ice cream! I got some pizza and some ice cream during one visit and enjoyed the food! Specifically the ice cream! On my next visit, I got food from Hoyo’s and it was very tasty too! There is an eating area one floor above with lots of chairs and tables. It closes at 7 PM (when I went there in August), so I had to check the timing a little carefully. It was easily accessible from my hotel by walk.

What a fantastic place! So much good food! A lovely jewelry vendor, flowers, oils, cheese! Was our first time visiting and we will be back. Nice and close parking garage. Be sure to get your receipt for parking garage from the vendor you buy from. This is good for one hour of parking. Highly recommend North Market for a bite to eat and some local shopping.

If I could leave a higher rating i definitely would. I went there with my boyfriend for the first time and my eyes immediately lit up! The food looked absolutely amazing, the pricing was way better than I had expected. The wait time for the food wasn’t nearly as long as I had anticipated. I will definitely be going back as many times as I’m able! I recommend the Birria tacos, 3 tacos for $14! As a bonus you are able to sit and overlook the whole place!

First time here; quaint little place downtown. Great for new finds of food, coffees, oils / spices, desserts. Has a variety of cuisines, there is something for everyone. Seating indoor and outdoor, perfect for a lazy weekend or to meet with friends. Parking validation offered from one of the vendors I purchased from but didn’t accept when leaving garage. This would be the only downside - which could have been a fluke. Can’t wait to go back!

North Market in Columbus is a foodie paradise with an amazing array of flavors and cuisines! From coffee to Italian, pho, ramen, Mexican, Indian, African, Mediterranean, and even oysters, there's something for everyone. Just a heads-up: it closes at 5 PM on Mondays, so plan accordingly! The air-conditioned space was a blessing on a hot day, although shopping options for gifts were limited—except for a great card store. I was bummed that Foxes Bagels was closed, as I've heard great things! Overall, a vibrant spot worth exploring! 🌟

Easily my favorite place in Columbus since moving here in February. The vibe in here is so great & the people are even better! My boyfriend & I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after being recommended this place by multiple friends. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We made a reservation and while we wanted to check out the patio, the weather was not on our side but inside is still BEAUTIFUL! The food and drinks were unmatched. The atmosphere is chill & the perfect place to spend a date night. Our waitress Elena was INCREDIBLE! She was so sweet & attentive. Even brought us an anniversary toast on the house. We will absolutely be back. Try the Lindey’s Peach Bellini, Tropical Mule, Lindey’s Burger, and Shrimp Angel hair — You won’t regret it. Even the sourdough bread is to die for!!

Absolutely gorgeous outdoor seating with lush white flowers blooming! Ordered the lamb chop and have never tasted a more tender chop in my life! The chef most definitely is top tier and waiters professional and even gave me a candle on my dessert to celebrate my birthday dinner. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite restaurant in Columbus, and one of my favorite restaurants in general. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to come here ever since I was young. Located in the heart of German Village, this place encapsulates the gold standard of what every restaurant should be. The atmosphere, which in my opinion, is the most memorable part of the restaurant experience, is 10/10. The patio is absolutely beautiful with a multi layered coy pond, an upstairs terrace, and outdoor bar, and more. The inside is the same with beautiful upholstery, impeccable white table cloth service, and perfect lighting. The service is always 10/10 no matter who it is. Everyone knowledgeable, happy to assist, and all work as a team to provide the best experience to all guests. He food is always great, with semi-reasonable prices and always different specials. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place and hope it sticks around for the long run.

We had an incredible dinner with excellent service from Adison. Support staff was wonderful and organized, and the managers were prompt and kind. The patio was both elegant and welcoming, and the entire restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening. Food was excellent, cannot say enough good things about the tuna tartare. We will return!

This is one of my favorite places in Ohio. The ambiance is charming. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. We usually start with a cocktail before moving on to the Carpaccio which I highly recommend. On this day we tried the arancini for the first time and thought it was tasty. For our entre we had steak and lamb chops and they do not disappoint. I go here once a year and I will try to continue this tradition. The staff is great. Madisson waited on us and she was excellent. 10/10.

My friends and I stopped here for lunch on a trip to columbus. We sat in the patio outside and the ambiance was amazing. The food was delicious. I got the nut crusted chicken salad and friends got the shrimp salad, club sandwich, and lobster bisque. We all loved what we got and left extremely satisfied. Outstanding! We sat on the patio in the back.. I had the sea bass which was fantastic! The vegetables were cooked perfectly as was the fish. I also had the Keylime pie and cheesecake. I would come back here in a heartbeat! Our server was fantastic as well.

Ok, these burgers are legit. If you are a hungry college student order a burger, if you are not- order one to split, seriously. 12oz to start, big burgers, but super tasty. We had several and all of them were good, get them med well (I usually like med rare, but these are big enough to take a little extra. A family owned dive bar kind of place. Not many tables so plan ahead, they won’t seat until everyone is present. Staff all share waiting duties, so at least there is always someone checking on you, but it is all made to order so nothing is fast, but it is worth the wait. Fries and onion rings were ok, as was the Ruben. Not bad, but stick with the burgers. Beers on tap and some in the can. Friendly staff, street parking. Gets busy fast. You will not go hungry (even splitting).

I need to double the stars to 10. First off I'd like to say I've ate here a few times and it gets better each time. The burgers are so big and cooked phenomenally. Has to be the best burger joint in Ohio. Victor is such a a great guy he was my server both times I've been there. I felt like I've known him my entire life and he treats you like family. If you go here please know it's worth the wait Everytime.

The ideal burger bar, Thurman's is a small space packed with personality. From it's rowdy music to the dollar bills all over the walls, it is a fun place to be and its authenticity is not skin deep. It has a good beer menu, great fries, fantastic onion rings, and speedy yet friendly service. But, let's face it; you can find all these at other places. What is hard to find is a burger as good as Thurman's. I got the Thurman burger, which was packed with toppings. This made for an over-the-top burger which I thought was actually a knock against the glory that is the patty of this burger. It is perfect: juicy, flavorful, cooked-to-order, and huge (their burgers are all 3/4 lb). Next time, I have to get the western burger to really make the most of the incredibly tasty meat in that patty and I hope that is sooner rather than later.

Omgod!!! So freaking good!! Didn't take pics of everything because I was too busy stuffing my face!! Omg it was ALL so good!! The reuben was on point! Wow!! That burger omg!! The fried pickles!! That pic was after we'd eaten some already!! So yummy ummy!!😋 I was visiting from Texas and so glad I got to try this place with my girlfriend!

Great place! The staff is fabulous and so nice! The fried cheese curds came out hot and fresh! The burgers are the star of the show. Absolutely delicious and highly recommend this place!

I had the biggest burger I think Iv ever had. It was AMAZING everything was great. The service was great everyone was so nice and attentive! The only thing I’d change is when you get that 2 lbs burger if they brought it out on a pizza pan lol. Honestly one of the best places Iv been. Great atmosphere everything was 10/10. Not many places have such a high rating while having so many reviews. It’s for a reason you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!

Burger was completely raw on the inside. How is this Columbus’ best burger when they can’t even cook a burger (to a safely edible temperature)? Also, waited about 15 minutes to be helped (and it was not busy and there was no wait/people before us). Overall, overhyped.

Great Coffee & Pastries, But Your Wallet Might Cry a Little Just popped into Pistacia Vera for a caffeine and pastry fix, and while I enjoyed it, my bank account gave me a stern look. It's definitely a "good, but expensive for what you get" kind of place. Let's talk lattes: The Pistachio Latte was good, no doubt, but honestly, it didn't quite hit the "$9 good" mark for me. Surprisingly, the Honey Butter Latte, at $1.50 less, was actually the standout – way better value and flavor. On the pastry front, they do a solid job. The Almond Croissant was absolutely fantastic, flaky and delicious. The eclair was good, and the lemon tart was just okay. So, a mixed bag, but some definite highlights. Look, I'd probably go back, especially for that honey butter latte and another almond croissant. However, be prepared for the price tag. My family dropped around $40 for a few coffees and pastries. Yikes! Definitely a spot for a treat, not an everyday habit.

My friend brought me here, and it was great! I am still thinking about the blueberry-lemon iced tea latte! If you like blueberry and lemon, I highly recommend getting that drink. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the drink before I devoured it. I did however get a picture of the cherry almond tart (when it was halfway eaten..sorry guys). It was delicious! I love cherry and almond—I have always wanted a dessert mixing the two because they have very compatible flavor profiles. This tasted great!

I stopped by Pistacia Vera and got their smoked salmon sandwich along with the strawberry matcha and honestly, this place never misses. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful, but the real standout was the strawberry matcha. It’s hands down my favorite spot for strawberry matcha no other place has come close so far. The balance of flavors is perfect every time, and the café itself has such a cozy, aesthetic vibe. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Columbus!

Honey butter Latte iced 5/5 Lives up to his name perfect balance of expresso, sweetness and a little bit of buttery. Would definitely order again. Vanilla bean macaroon 4/5 Flavor was delicious it just didn't taste as light and fresh but was still good. It didn't give old & could be that I ate it cold right from the refrigerator. pistachio Chuck Cookie- 4/5, soft not too sweet pistachio forward with good balance of chocolate. Great treats and friendly staff. Will definitely  visit more. Look forward to trying other things on the menu.

So good! The chocolate bombe with the gold foil ontop is so delicious and feels like a fancy treat for myself! My partner had the macarons and loved them. The strawberry one has some jam in there and not just cream so that was a nice added touch.

Some of the best pastries I’ve had! Service was great, considering the line was down the block. But they kept it moving and were friendly and helpful when ordering.

Great service. Pistachio iced latte was amazing, just wish they had bigger size options available. The macarons could have a little more filling in my opinion. The pistachio eclair was perfection. Overall, it is a place worth frequenting, but just know it is a bit pricey. We got 2 coffees, 2 eclairs and 4 macarons and it was over $50.

Ambiance: Very comfortable and cute. Service: Stephanie was friendly and attentive. Food: • Cauliflower – The sauce was very good—tangy and sweet. The peanuts could be chopped smaller. 5/5 • Fries – 5/5 • Flounder – The fish was tender and flavorful. However, the sauce was too salty and heavy, with no component in the dish to balance its richness. 3/5

Second time eating here and sorry to hear that it’s closing as each time has been been just outstanding. One of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. My family of four ordered most of the items in the menu to create a tasting experience for each of us and we loved every dish. The French fries were once again some of the best fries we’ve ever had. In addition our other favorite dishes were probably the grilled scallops and Khao Soi though none of the dishes disappointed. The service was excellent, the drinks were great, and we loved sitting by the window as the evening set in. Highly recommended to secure reservations before this place closed for good.

Came here for my birthday dinner, and ended up being very glad chose it for the occasion. The atmosphere is easily one of the best in Columbus, the food was unique and delicious, and our server, Sean, was kind and gave great recommendations. Also, the maple custard dessert was one of the best I have ever had!

We had an incredible dining experience at Chapman’s! Ordered the General Tso’s Cauliflower, Grilled Scallops, Beef Fat Fries, and the Cornish Hen which were all incredible. Drink menu was unique and inventive. Will definitely be back!

A different dining experience, I love that we have something as fun (and deliciously unique) as Chapman's in Columbus. No matter what you order, you're guaranteed a flavorful, delicious experience. The aesthetic is tighter and cozy, and the low lighting only helps elevate that aesthetic. I love the quaint yet high-class delivery of food!

We went for a dim sum tasting menu a few weeks ago and the food was fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable and very attentive. We enjoyed every course and our server definitely made evening memorable for an early birthday dinner.

I was sad to hear that Chapman's is closing. I have only been for happy hour, but the cocktails and appetizers are excellent, and the acoustics are not as noisy as many. The best part, though, was that the hostess made a miniature origami heron for my heron (!!). The heron has dined in many restaurants in multiple countries and has NEVER been gifted a friend before.

This place is so frikken cool and the food was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. It looked super small at first but it was surprisingly comfortable. Also did I mention the food was amazing!? Highly recommend and dont forget to leave your mark while you're there!

Always a great place to visit. The food is delicious no matter what you decide to choose. You really can't beat the sweet & spicy bacon. I highly recommend getting an order with any of their menu items. The Nutella Pancake balls are also good. They can be a little rich tasting for those that aren't a fan of Nutella, but they offer seasonal and a variety of flavors for the pancake balls. The restaurant has a very cool atmosphere but it has very limited seating inside. There is plenty of outside seating for larger groups when the weather is nice.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were nice and we didn’t have to wait long for our food even with it being so busy. It was my first time here and I had heard so many things about their pancake balls. They looked great, but were extremely overrated. There was barely any filling in them and tasted very bland. On the other hand, their fresh orange juice and sweet n’ spicy bacon were delicious. I would definitely come back just for those two, but not the pancake balls. Seemed a little too pricey as well.

Awesome atmosphere, kind attitudes, and great food! The Hibiscus tea was soothing and the Hens in a basket chefs kiss🤌🏽. If you are a fan of pancakes, @katalinascafe is the place to go in Columbus, OH. They have really good American-Latin fusion brunch. They are very popular for their pancake balls; I had their Dulce de Leche pancake balls, which looked tasty and tasted even tastier with their cup of syrup on the side. I personally think that their sweet spicy bacon is the star of the menu, is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, and it was perfectly cooked. They also have their own homemade drinks. I recommend their Horchata and orange juice. It is a very small establishment so you might struggle with getting a table or parking. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Disappointed. I’ve seen this place be so popular. I ordered food online to take home (I live 6.5 hours away) and it wasn’t ready when it said it would be. No big deal but the biggest disappointment finding that my pancake balls had no filling at all. It was too late for me to turn around and say something at this point. Will not be coming back.

Okay. Let’s just talk about the Pancake Balls for just a minute…. Such awesome innovation and absolutely delicious. We were there first thing in the morning when they opened, and the whole staff was ready for us with a smile. Monica took our order and brought the food, and she is absolutely awesome. Friendly, patient and welcoming. The breakfast tacos were out of this world and the service was outstanding!!! Highly recommend this place…

Fantastic food and service! The French toast was easily some of the best I’ve ever had—thick, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. The cinnamon roll latte was also delicious, though a bit on the pricey side for the portion size, which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!

I’m going to have to add on to the recent reviews. Skillet has been a wonderful place to visit since I moved to Columbus. The food is top notch. Pricey, yes. But it was a splurge I figured was worth it. Recently, it’s a serve yourself setup. My omelette comes in a cardboard food truck container that completely takes away from the experience. Before, it was plated nice, perfectly folded over omelette with micro greens on top. Now? It’s just thrown into a to go container. Serve yourself water is the same size as Dixie cups you use for mouthwash. And a $8 coffee which is the cinnamon roll latte (usually to die for) is served in a GFS paper cup now. Not sure we will be going back based on these new changes. Hopefully this feedback finds its way to create change again.

We have been going to this restaurant for a few years and it has always been a favorite. Food has always been great, prices were reasonable and the service was always good. Today, we walked in to a different restaurant - no one greeted us at the door like they used to, just stand in the doorway waiting for a seat. If it was crowded, we would have left. No one serves you, you have to order on your phone and pay the same way. I would understand if the prices were lowered to reflect the decrease in service, but they don't seem to have changed. Fewer seats, no ambiance and miserable service. Our food came out quickly but our drinks didn't come out till we were halfway through our meals. The guy who makes the drinks also has to direct people coming in and that detracted from his efficiency. Very disappointed in the changes and we WILL NOT be coming back. If I want to serve myself, I'll stay home and save the money

We just ate at Skillet for the first time and loved it! Owner is super nice, and the restaurant is small, intimate and charming. Coffees are super good (Cinnamon Bun Latte - hot, Cold Brew with Maple honey to sweeten). My wife and I both ordered the Pimento Omelet, and it was very delicious; our daughter had the Cheesy Hashbrowns - also very delicious. I must comment that the plates of other food coming out of the kitchen looked soooo delicious! Will definitely be back here MUCH more. 😃👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have made a decision not to go back. They've made shocking changes to the dining experience that doesn't work for us. Gone are the stylish dinner plates, amazing unique pottery coffee cups, condiments, complimentary water, and most of the wait staff. Expect to pay for tap water, condiment style hot sauce, and for each cup of coffee (no refills). 100% point of sale service and 100% paper plates, coffee cups, and plastic utensils. Orders must be placed by mobile device (QR Code) or via a single kiosk. Payment is tediouly typed in including all your card digits, expiration date, security code, first and last name, email, and phone number, and tip before your order can be placed. Today I placed about a $50 order for 2 but when the food came, I realized I had forgotten the hot sauce. I was informed I had to pay for it. So, again, I scanned the QR code, payment, phone number etc. all over again. I've been to Skillet many, many times, and had always recommended it to friends and tourists. The food is still awesome, the coffee excellent, and their homemade hot sauce is fantastic. If you're willing to adjust to the new payment system, minimal staff engagement, using paper products, clearing your own table like a fast food restaurant, for a once elevated dining experience, you won't be disappointed.

My family three did not get to eat here because there were no open seats. The place is very small. They may have about 10 tables that sit 2 people It is a first-come-first-serve, wait at the door. The only host service is a sign just inside the door that says to seat yourself. When we arrived, all tables were booked and it look like most people were waiting still for their food, which is not a good sign for people waiting outside. The menu looks good, but the space is very limited.

The restaurant that doesn’t want to be a restaurant. The food is good most times. They change the menu a lot so sometimes it’s better than others. - there are 5 tables in the building and you can’t reserve any. And there’s no waiting list even if you show up you just have to wait outside the front door and fight for a table. - there aren’t any service employees, they actually don’t want you talking to them or interacting with them at all, no servers, no host. - you have to pay for water - can’t really ask questions about the food as you order on your phone and can’t make any modifications. - no espresso just 9 dollar drip coffees with sugar - they basically were like we want a restaurant but don’t want to be open (only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 2.) we also don’t want to have human interactions, they don’t even want to bring you the food you have to order on your phone then pick up from a table, they don’t want to have dishes to do. Everything is paper and plastic.

I came here to celebrate my birthday, and The Refectory did not disappoint. Every plate was beautifully presented and full of flavor—elegant without being fussy. The bisque was rich, the ratatouille vibrant, and the sea bass absolutely perfect. They even brought out a personalized dessert with a candle—small gesture, big impact. Service was thoughtful, the ambiance felt special, and the night was unforgettable. Definitely recommend for a celebration or a quiet, elevated night out.

We immensely enjoyed our time here! Days later, our party of five is still talking about the wonderful meal we each had and how wonderful the evening was at the Refractory. Just look: Each course was beautifully displayed and delicious! I’m now a fan of French cuisine! Our waitstaff, Dom, could not have been more excellent and we would request him next time!

Celebrated my 40th birthday at The Refectory and it was exceptional. I had the tasting menu and every course was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was warm, attentive, and elevated without being stuffy. Such a special place. It’s was elegant, intimate, and perfect for a milestone celebration. Highly recommend!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday with the French Country Dinner and Wine Pairing. Chef prepared an exquisite menu and the wines were fantastic. Our waiter, Alex, and the entire staff were great! Highly recommend visiting The Refectory!

Best fine dining experience in columbus by far! For context we've been to Cameron Mitchell and the like Service: excellent, waiting on Ur every move. Changing napkins to match Ur attire if needed. Food: in the french style. Conceptually well put together for excellent synergy. Venue: great for celebrations! Vibe is very cosy, dark, welcoming. Elegant. It was our first time there. Celebrated a birthday. They had a personalized birthday card ready at the table. The food was delicious! The service was friendly and easy! Definitely recommend. A bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it.

One of the most beautiful and amazing restaurants I've been to in Columbus. The food was amazing, John was an amazing waiter, made our night extra special and Jim added to it as well. Went to the tap room on a warm Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet. I had never had their beer before at all, and the service was great giving me recommendations and offering samples. Service was fantastic, the beer was lovely, and I enjoyed the urban but quiet vibe outside. The patio is on an alley, so there’s not a lot of cars or commotion. Lovely.

Delicious food. Shout out to Atticus for outstanding service! Recommend the Brussels sprouts, Daybreak (Beer)- beer flight, and Cod (Special). Easy to make a reservation online, recommend to do so. They are popular and can get busy quickly.

We booked the Hickory Room at Wolf's Ridge Brewing for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The room was beautiful and their service was great! Their staff leading up to the event were very organized and communicative and the food for both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party was excellent. We had at least 75 people in there at some points and the space felt comfortable. We had a great experience with Wolf's Ridge and would recommend it for anyone looking for a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or other event venue.

Every time I've dined at Wolf's Ridge, it has been outstanding. This latest time was no exception. We stopped in for brunch. I had the Loaded Tots. My fiance had the Toad in the Hole. We loved it all. Our server was Lexi (I hope I got that correct). She was very friendly, attentive, and provided useful recommendations for both in-house and around Columbus.

Fairly solid beer, I definitely enjoyed the Daybreak Cream Ale (one of their most popular beers). The building was honestly a bit warm and I'm not sure if they had any air conditioning on a very hot day. In any case, still a fun spot to check out.

Such an amazing brunch! My server, Atticus, was super attentive and friendly. And the food was delicious! They source a lot of their ingredients locally, and you can tell! I had the omelet with salad and it was perfect. The bloody mary was great, too. It's a very underrated brunch, go check it out!

A lively space where you can still hear the conversation at your table we enjoyed their beers with everyone in our party of 5 ordering something different. We shared small plates to start. Our favourites are the chopped salad and waffle fries. Sandwiches are tasty. The local duck was delicious and perfectly cooked accompanied by a very spicy sauce and carrots. It could have used something green and possibly some potatoes or rice. The fresh walleye special was perfectly cooked with a melange of summer squash and zucchini in a flavourful peppadew sauce, and tender baby potatoes. Did you sleep OK? I’m sorry you like your fruit is ours. I would’ve guessed they were the same just asking well you only have one more night not bad my goodness. We ended the evening with their chocolate mousse with its citrusy coconut foam/cream.

I tried two scoops - Root Beer Float and Brambleberry Crisp - at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Since I am allergic to eggs, I asked the staff about ingredients, and they were very clear about which flavors had eggs and which did not. They also had great sorbet options for vegans. I appreciated being able to sample flavors before choosing. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful, even with a big crowd waiting. Both flavors were tasty, but I was especially impressed with the Root Beer Float - it really tasted like the drink! The shop is busy, but worth the wait. I would definitely come back.

Local ice cream place with a great many super interesting flavors. While you are likely to find a line, it is worth it. I had the burnt orange - so delicious! Also yummy was the brown butter almond brittle and the gooey butter cake. Heck, all the flavors we tried were DELICIOUS!! Go today! Go again! Yum!!!

First time in Columbus, OH and I was advised to stop by Jeni's for ice cream. This was the best suggestion. This place had great customer service and a variety of ice cream to pick from. Jeni's even lets you sample every ice cream they have with no pressure to buy any. If you're near a Jeni's ice cream,definitely stop by and grab some

Staff were friendly and welcoming! I have been a long time Jeni’s fan and getting to go in person was fantastic. Loved all the specialty combos on the menu!

So many choices for ice cream. Very nice delicious flavors. Staff seemed extremely knowledgeable about the descriptions of each flavor. I was disappointed that they only offered ice cream cones and bowls. No other type of desserts like shakes exedra. There is a bathroom there you can use. We were very pleased that they had free tap water available in the dining room. That was super helpful since we had been walking around outside in the heat for 3 hours downtown. As expected, the prices were extremely high.

One thing about me is if I’m in a state that has a Jeni’s, I will make it a point to stop by. It’s a must. I always get my almond brittle butter ice cream and it never disappoints. The flavor is rich and creamy, with that sweet and slightly nutty crunch that makes it unforgettable. And their waffle cone? Absolute perfection! It’s crisp, buttery, and the perfect match for their ice cream. I’ve loved Jeni’s for years, and every visit reminds me why. The quality is always consistent, the flavors are creative and bold, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Whether it’s a quick treat on a hot day or a little indulgence after dinner, Jeni’s always hits the spot. This is one of those places I’ll keep coming back to, no matter where I am.

Unique flavors that somehow just work! We had had pints of Jeni’s from the grocery store but were thrilled for the opportunity to try ice cream from the scoop shop itself and we were not disappointed! We shared the ice cream flight which comes with 10 scoops of 10 different flavors and waffle cone pieces on the side. Each flavor was unique and offered something different. My favorite was the “everything bagel” which was a savory ice cream and very different from anything I’d had before. My wife’s favorite was the honey vanilla bean. All the ice creams were soft, creamy and not overly sweet. Some of the best ice cream we’ve had! Hope to see them open a shop in Kansas City someday!

I have enjoyed Hot Chicken Takeover since their beginnings over ten years ago. Sadly, my experience today is a cautionary tale in what happens when you sell a business to a soulless corporation. The Mac and cheese was horrid, and the slaw is probably the worst I've ever had. Long John Silvers makes better slaw now. As for the chicken itself, it was bland, hardly seasoned, and the portions were skimpy. I want to be clear that the service was good, and I do not in any way fault the employees for this experience. This lays squarely at the feet of arrogant, greedy owners who refuse to listen to their customers, and who think that they can switch out cheap swill for the formerly high quality ingredients this place was known for. I honestly thought that all the negative reviews I saw here and elsewhere were excessive. They aren't. More people came in to use the bathroom at leave than bought food on a Tuesday night, so people are voting with their feet. If you loved the old HCT, avoid the new Hostile Chicken Takeover.

Service was great! I ordered the 5 wings with a side of Mac & Cheese and the food was definitely made with love. The wings were really good and tasty! I love the ranch that hot chicken has to go with the chicken. The service is was fast and the staff remarkably nice. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

Food was hot, fresh, and good! My first time getting food here and I was extremely happy I picked this place for lunch! I got the nuggets and Mac and cheese. Hot Chicken Takeover has shifted gears a bit since its change of ownership. Thankfully the seasoning and ranch still taste great. I was excited to try the expanded menu with lots of options. The chicken bites were great and the white bread is always a good addition. I was disappointed by the sides though. The Mac and cheese was basically flavorless. Not a big fan of the new sauces either. They really have to deliver with pricing this high. So sad they took away free ranch and sweet tea. Will have to try some other items next visit.

If you want "Nashville Hot" style chicken then absolutely give this place a try. The "Warm" spice level is just a little hotter than regular "Buffalo Wings" (traditionally made with Frank's Red Hot" and are probably just right for folks who want spicy, but not pain. If you're a chili head, or thrill seeker, then you'll want a higher spice level. The place was nice and clean, the temperature inside pleasant, and the assistant manager who helped me at the counter was very pleasant and friendly. If you're looking for more affordable prices then try the M-W $10 lunch special. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that some of the prices, especially the $3.50 for coleslaw or $3 for a soda are just too damn high. I can't accept any place charging $3 for a fountain drink when it's essentially ten cents worth of corn syrup + water. And $3.50 for coleslaw? Why? Cabbage is known for being cheap, it's what you eat when you're too poor to afford something else. Normally coleslaw is something that just comes with a meal, not something you pay extra for? Anyway, sign up for the app, save $5, and give it a try - who knows, maybe you'll love it and maybe you'll find the side prices to be worth it.

This was the best chicken I've had in a fast food restaurant. The HOT level sauce on the chicken was on point. I had the big tender sandwich and big they were. The tenders were very juicy, the pickled onions were delicious and the waffle fries were finger licking good.

My family and I drove 4 hours to eat here (and go to the zoo). We ate here a few years ago when there was only one location, different location than this, and my family has talked about it so much since then. I wasn’t ready for any heat on my chicken on this trip so I stuck with the kids and ordered mine cold for the heat. My husband went down a level to medium this year and he thoroughly enjoyed his food. We had ordered the kids chicken with Mac, chicken sandwich (topped with coleslaw) and Mac, wings (5) and beans, and a banana pudding. The sandwich I ordered was so filling. I didn’t want to not finish my food as I was full before eating it all. It was seriously too good to let any go to waste. I ate my sandwich with their homemade ranch. I only like homemade ranch, not the store bought and this met my expectations. The coleslaw serve is so good. It’s lightly dressed and not the heavy mayo kind. Their Mac is creamy and baked so it’s the perfect combination of taste and texture. The sandwich is also served with pickles, the good dill cut pickles. My husband ate his 5 wings, no bread and no beans and was full just off that. The kids enjoyed their food so much and also enjoyed dipping the chicken in ranch. The banana pudding was divine. We all shared one serving since we were already full. The pudding was fresh, The homemade banana pudding tastes with real bananas. It did not disappoint. The meals came with sweet tea, served southern style as it is very sweet. The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, and wait times were minimal. I can’t wait to go again today, two days in a row.

Excellently done tasting menu from Veritas. We were there for the current Mexican tour. You will definitely taste and be reminded of all the great Mexican flavors. Service was quick, polite and personal. Our server took her time to explain the dishes and chef inspirations. We didn’t do the wine pairing, but next time we will as we were impressed with the flavor of the dishes. Pricey but well worth it. Veritas will rotate their tasting menus about every two months. Looking forward to the next. Highly recommended.

It was my first time visiting Visitas. Someone recommended me to come to try their fixed 6 course menu The service was really good and the atmosphere was beautiful. The food was good but it was very little, I understand that it is a tasting menu but also they need to remember that it is dinner for many of us. The last course before the dessert was a bit better, so I had to eat some rice and pita to get a little satisfied. For $130, including a trip and no drinks, just water, I find it not a great value. Even if they race their price a little and serve more food, it will be greatly appreciated. I will probably not come back for the fixed menu anymore.

Excellent serving staff, very knowledgeable on what they are serving. The kitchen team KS great and really awesome! The floor manager is great and prompt and attentive. The food is +A. It is really expensive! But worth it. Spent $476. Worth it.

The tasting menu was superb, with imaginative compositions, excellent preparations, and great flavors. The paired wines were of high quality and matched the food very well. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was a great experience. The room was pretty full, and we were happy that we were easily able to hear each other throughout the evening.

**Update** The Veritas team went above and beyond to try and make things right. They obviously care about their customer experience and that speaks volumes. We will give them another shot. I disagree with the overall google review “People say this restaurant offers a superb tasting menu with imaginative compositions, excellent preparations, and great flavors. They highlight the paired wines are of high quality and match the food well, and the atmosphere is amazing with complimentary music. They also like the friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service.” We did the taste of Mexico and when I had covid, my food had more flavor. Everything we had was extremely lack luster at best. The wagyu was stringy and oily and the duck was dry and flavorless. The ceviche and corn maze popcorn were the best and not enough to justify the price or salvage the meal. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. The place did comp our 2 cocktails which was appreciated. Our bill was still over $300 before tip. We love the chef’s tasting format and have enjoyed numerous experiences internationally. This unfortunately did not meet the mark. Agni’s two days ago surpassed the mark in creativity, flavor, service, quality, and value. Their pricing is comparable. We had high hopes for Veritas and unfortunately left disappointed.

Glad Veritas is in Columbus. I think it's just misses the mark for the 5 stars but so close. Food was very good for Japanese Supper Club. I did also enjoy my cocktails. The highlights: I loved the first course-could eat 10 plates of it-especially the tart and the eggplant. Sashimi was could-could be a little more punchy. I did also enjoy the udon soup and the grilled eel bowl. The shaved ice was a nice palate cleanser. Service was slow for the # of courses/time between courses was a tad too long. Most dishes were well balanced but some need refinement. Ex: Katsu breading-fell off the meat and not quite crispy enough. The dessert was so rich with the rice porridge and needed more ice cream to balance it out. It's a supper club so it's a set menu. I do wish if there is one dish you like in particular you could get more of it! Excited to try it again.

Fantastic experience right in heart of downtown. Parking is, as expected, not free but plenty of garages and surface lots, plus street parking, around. Very friendly staff and they explain each dish as it comes out.

A very unique experience in Columbus! So very many courses and different flavors. Staff was extremely friendly and interesting enough it was kind of a round robin system where you got different staff bringing different courses so that was neat. Food was amazing. Prepared just right each dish and the flavors were out of this world! Very filling, just barely was able to finish the last of the courses. Bathrooms are immaculate and have plenty of extra amenities over what you'd normally expect. Had some Japanese city pop playing and a Toto toilet even. Highly recommend for memorable experience.

We were welcomed with apple cider at the hostess stand, and it only got better from there. The “Happier Meal” was such a fun play on McDonald’s classic sauces, and the Wendy’s reverse frosty with fries was both nostalgic and wildly creative. Every bite had us smiling. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive, and even the bathrooms had us laughing. 😂 This was truly a chef’s table experience—and honestly, it ranks as our second favorite meal ever, only topped by Carte Blanche in Aruba. Agni travel tasting menu is an experience that you definitely need to have when it comes to fine dining. This was my second time here and this time around it was even better. The service remained excellent and food improved even more. We specially enjoyed the tribute to Mc Donald’s happy meal as well as many of the man courses and the dessert were yummy. I had an absolute blast celebrating my birthday here. Every bite was wonderful but the biryani stole my heart. The wine pairing was beautiful and I appreciated the knowledge and explanation for each. Everyone was so fun and full of smiles. This experience and the delicious food was worth the trip from Indy. Thank you to everyone at Angi for a fabulous birthday.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and this was hands down one of the best tasting menus we’ve ever had. 12 courses of food that was both nostalgic and felt like you were traveling the world at the same time. The staff were incredible friendly, explaining each detail about what you were given but it was all a surprise! (They give you the menu at the end unless you’d like it at the beginning- we say go for the surprise ;) and get the wine pairing! We did the basic $85 one and it was 100% worth every penny. If anyone ever tells me again that Ohio has boring food, I’m sending them to Agni to change their mind. Thank you all so much!

OMG. My friends and I are major foodies, having eaten all over the US and many continents and this was one of the 2 or 3 best meals I have had in my life. You can drop some serious coin here for Columbus but it's an astounding bargain vs flying to Paris and eating at a 3-star restaurant there. If you collect experiences rather than just looking for a meal, this is for you. I never heard the word Wow so many times in 3 hours. We had the basic wine/drink pairing and it was perfect--I can't imagine how the deluxe pairing could be better for 5x the price. Boisterous inside, quiet on the patio. German village street parking. Agni goes above and beyond. Dining here is more than just a meal, it’s a passionate, artistic culinary experience. Yet, despite its creativity and ambition, nothing about Agni feels pretentious. The fusion of flavors and textures is masterful, and the service is impeccable. Every beverage we tried was thoughtfully crafted, with plenty of inventive non-alcoholic options. We dined on the patio on a balmy 90-degree day, and their custom “sodas” were the perfect refreshment in the heat. I could go on and on about the food. A few standout stars from our visit included the Phuchka, Dal, and the Caesar Chaat-Froid. Each dish a bold, balanced marriage of flavor, texture, and even temperature. Every plate felt like a small revelation. We were truly impressed by every aspect of our time at Agni. While we deeply respect the values behind their added employee wellness fee, we’d gently suggest incorporating it into menu pricing rather than adding it at the end, it would feel more seamless to the overall experience. And the cherry on top? Believe it or not, the bathroom! Adorned with charming custom wallpaper, stocked with thoughtful toiletries, and featuring an actual Japanese Toto toilet, it stole the heart of this former Tokyoite. Agni is without question a front-runner in the Columbus dining scene.

Been here a couple of times and can only compliment the Cold Cut sandwich. Is it on the expensive side, yes, but is it fully loaded and will leave you feeling stuffed, definitely. It's packed with flavour that all come together brilliantly. Need to expand my selection to some of the other options but the Cold Cut is that good. It's walking distance from home for me, so I can't comment on parking except to say there's lots of on-street parking right outside. There is seating inside and patio seating outside.

Seriously can’t get enough of these AMAZING sandwiches!!! The food comes out so fast all things considered since it’s such a popular destination- the sandwiches are HOT and the portions are huge, perfect for sharing! Tried this place for the first time after work, and I was excited based on all the roaring reviews. I wasn’t impressed, unfortunately. It could’ve just been what I ordered or when (evening). The Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap was humongous, but didn’t give the sharp Parmesan/citrus flavors one might expect. The bread was hard. Not like a baguette, like it had been out for a while. The chicken portions were plentiful and well cooked but unseasoned. But ironically, I felt the sandwich could’ve used a bit more romaine. My potatoes were okay - after negotiating the clumps of garlic, I found a few pieces that weren’t overcooked. Service was great, and food was ready when I arrived - always a plus.

My wife and I tried the chicken ceasar crispy and tge beef steak warios way. The ceasar was by far the best sandwich I've ever had. The flavors went together so well, the chicken was juicy and seasoned, the ceasar salad they used was fresh and crisp, and the bread was so good. The cheese steak was also good but when you do the warios way it was to much cheese in my opinion and you could hardly taste the steak in the sandwich. Im sure the original is much better. Sandwiches are big and full to tye brim so you definitely get your moneys worth. Overall experience was awesome, cashier made you feel like it was a one of a kind shop and their food proved it. Highly recommend going, especially for the chicken ceasar sandwich!

I mean common, nobody is sending you here without you actually hearing about the place before, if not then please go and try it out. I went during lunch hour and boy it was popular. I had their chicken cutlet to go. Service was great, vibes were respectful. The sandwich itself was amazing and flavorful, i ate the half and was almost full, although saved the other half for later. The wait is not that bad even during the rush hour, simple and to the point options to choose from. Will def come back, 8.5/10

Okay I’m actually so sad I didn’t like this place more after hearing so much about it. I was so excited to try the viral Caesar sandwich that I’ve seen everywhere on social media but it disappointed. I was looking for a strong Caesar flavor, and the sandwich gave more chicken marinara flavor. The sandwiches are huge so I split with my husband when we went and didn’t even want to finish my half so after two bites I gave the rest of mine to him. We got the crispy chicken instead of the grilled chicken like the menu recommends and there was so much breading I could barely taste the chicken. I was hoping for more romaine/ Caesar dressing, I think that’s what I was expecting watching all the videos I did before going. We also got the house spuds (potatoes) which were pretty good. The Wario’s sauce that came with it was a little peppery for my liking. Our friends got the cheesesteak and they liked it. I think the guy at the front taking our order was the owner and he was great, and the service was quick.

Wow what a great sandwich!! Stopped here per the recommendation of a friend while visiting the city. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was so good. The sandwich is huge and packed with all the fixins. Also got the spuds and those were so freaking good dipped in Wario’s sauce. Hell yeah you’ve got to come here if you’re in Columbus and I’m jealous we don’t have one where I live

The best pretzel and cheese sauce, delicious. Pretzel flavor and texture so amazing. The sampler was a great way to experience many sausage options. The environment is clean and very engaging. Memorable art and stories are found here. I know people love the cream puff but mine was not good. The dough had too much of a used oil flavor and the cream was not good (vanilla). Also visit the fudge haus next door and get some chocolate.

Awesome classic German fare. Complete with an accordion two piece band and old brick roads out front. Throwback to the immigrants who came here almost 150 years ago. Friendly staff. The potato soup is thick and creamy. Stuffed cabbage, sauerbraten, and cream puff were perfect.

What a great experience. This was my family's first time. The place was packed when we walked in but we were seated promptly. The service was great and the food came out remarkably fast. The potato soup was delicious. We ordered the pretzel appetizer which came with cheese and mustard. My husband ordered the sausage sampler which was great. I got the reuben with potato pancakes. And lastly the desserts were great. Fresh and delicious. The neighborhood was cute and there were 2 shops afterwards to visit.

The buffet is back! Schmidt’s bratwurst, German potato salad (warm) and German chocolate cake is good any day of the week and anytime of time of the day. Love the warm and casual space. While it is may seem noisy to some, I find the table conversations pleasant and an indicator of everyone around me enjoying their meal and the company with them.

Columbus, OH hosts a great German restaurant known for their sausages, schnitzel, and cream puffs. The staff is awesome. They help each other out to keep the service flowing. They are friendly and happy to explain the menu and options. The food is delicious and the beer offerings complement it perfectly. It is busy and popular so expect a wait during rush hour unless there is a spot at the bar. The vibe is family friendly. Lederhosen clad servers, polka music, and German themed decorations. The cream puffs are massive. Residential parking is available if the lot is full.

The atmosphere was lively and the place was full with many people waiting in line. The service was friendly and fast. I don’t eat pork so I did not have their famous sausages as even the beef ones have pork mixed with the beef. The server suggested two no pork dishes and I went with the breaded veal with mushroom burgundy gravy, and sides of red cabbage and potato pancakes with applesauce . I had a non alcoholic beer with the meal and for dessert their famous jumbo cream puff (vanilla). The only thing I really enjoyed was the beer ! I didn’t like the texture or the taste of the pastry shell and so I only ate the cream filling. The main dish was okay but not delicious. I guess I could not have what people come to this place for because of my dietary restrictions so it was not really the place for me.

Delicious and authentic German food with imported Bavarian beer options. The evening crowd was loud and boisterous (further authenticity 😂) but still had private feeling places with small booths and a bar area to one side. The artwork was interesting and added further charm to this historic building. The server was friendly and helpful and was prompt despite the full house.

Ok, I got a cheeseburger which was very good. The atmosphere was fine, we had a large party of 9 which really didn’t work that well. You set yourself, you get your drinks yourself, you don’t refer and pay at the register. Ask for napkins they said it came with the silverware and that’s all you get. We had to use multiple extra sets of silverware. They only have sweet potato fries which I didn’t care for at all. The staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. When you paid you selected a tip amount even though you just stood in line to order and you really don’t have help except to remove dishes. I am normally a strong 20-25% tipper, with service, but the minimum was 15% and that was way too much for this place. Won’t be back, there are better options available.

In town visiting for work and came across the Northstar Cafe. Quick service - even with a number of customers arriving at the same time. My order was taken promptly, and some personal recommendations provided by the server. Seated outside, great atmosphere both inside and outside. Ended up with the chicken and avocado sandwich which was delicious. For a drink I had the shooting star. When traveling for work I try to find any opportunity to maximize healthy options. Really great meal, friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Great for breakfast and lunch. The avocado chicken sandwich is great with a finely toasted bun. Nice outdoor sitting area with heaters, which make sitting outside blissful. Very clean inside and outside. The staff are particularly careful about cleanliness of mugs and silverware. We saw them checking and changing three mugs before handing us one that did not have any spots on it. They are also careful to not touch inside the mugs. And the best of all, we noticed some items in the menu and ingredients staff use are organic. What better than having organic food at reasonable price. This place left a good memory of Columbus for us. I wish them a booming business for their quality work and service.

Absolutely amazing establishment. All staff was friendly and helpful. I had a few questions on ingredients and they were able to explain everything as I needed! The shooting star drink is OUT OF THIS WORLD, DELICIOUS. The fish sandwich was fresh and warm! The northstar burger was one of the best restaurant vegetarian burgers I’ve ever had. So full of flavor! The kale slaw on top was absolutely delicious! Beverages are self serve!

North Star is always solid and this location is no exception. Has a good look and a good vibe, with big windows that make people watching fun. Service was great, everybody who worked there was attentive and nice. Food was also good. Got the breakfast burrito and the turkey hash.

Cute clean restaurant. We stopped for breakfast. You order food at the counter, cafe style. They bring your food to you. Perfect mimosa’s. Freshly juiced carrots. The oats were a perfect serving size. Breakfast was delicious. The kids ate pancakes and drank organic root beer. The coffee was strong. Over all a beautiful setting and would recommend.

Came here for Sunday morning brunch. It was a fantastic spot. Ordering was a little different than most places as you get in line to order your food, then find a table for yourself, and the servers bring out your food once it’s ready. I had the sweet potato and turkey hash, oats all the way, and draft kombucha. Everything was very tasty and delicious. The place has a nice atmosphere with the large windows and sunlight shining in. Friendly and warm staff. Lots of parking with side streets and parking garage right next to the cafe.

We had a great happy hour experience at The Pearl. Our server Eric was excellent! He took the time to ask about our cocktail preferences and gave thoughtful recommendations based on what we were looking for. He made sure the drinks had no added sugar, just as we requested. When we were packing up our leftover cornbread, he brought extra whipped butter and honey, which no other server has done before. Eric was kind, attentive, and made our visit memorable. Highly recommend asking for him!

Absolutely loved this spot. We happened by here by happy accident. Had the clam chowder, oysters, and Fish and Chips which were all near perfect versions of their categories. Our waiter was top of the line. We'll be back next time we are in town.

Ratings have it as 4.8 / 5.0 , I’d say my experience was 2.5 / 5.0. Busy place 6pm Wednesday night. They had no tables so I opted for the, I guess you could call middle height bar. Waiter was friendly, got my order but I never saw him again until he took my card to pay which alright maybe he had other tables I’m always an easy guest, but never came and got my empty dish or filled up water. First dish was good, nice tuna dish. Second dish was below average. Chicken was dry. It said roasted potatoes on the menu came with it, upon arrival there were only 4 on the plate. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish. Waiter asked how dinner was, but he seemed he couldn’t care less that I told him the dish was below average. No one greeted me on the way out. I’m not here to tarnish a reputation, I just keep these for my own personal. Maybe I sat at the wrong seat, maybe the guy had other tables, I most likely ordered the wrong dish. But my experience wasn’t 4.8/5. 2.5 / 5.0

Great location on main center street of Columbus. This restaurant brought to my attention from reputation & recommendation. No Valet service no parking use uber or taxi. Welcoming was very dry you can tell guy was tired and was not exciting to see us. Ambience decor like old ‘90 Applebees they need renovation so bad. Food is out this world impeccable 10 out of 10 chefs cheers. Server he forgot for I moment that he at work no he wasn’t rude or mean. He was effervescent. He was sassy. Took our order so late from appetizers to main dish wish waited .I understand that industry I left him tip but not happy with his attitude

We had an amazing experience at The Pearl! Our server, Jordan K., went above and beyond - he was incredibly accommodating to our keto diet and gave fantastic recommendations for oysters. Everything he suggested was spot-on. The service, food, and overall atmosphere were excellent. Highly recommend this place and our server, especially if you’re looking for great seafood and attentive service!

We visited Short north two weeks ago and tried out a couple of nice spots. This came across our radar on Yelp and decided to try it out. Starting with the good; the service was perfect and attentive. Our server helped out plenty and got refills quickly when needed. I always like to recognize an exceptional server. I forgot their name, but definitely is an asset to the team. As for the atmosphere, it’s a very nice interior and I appreciate the attention to detail in the color choices and overall ambiance. Our table was sitting rather close to the table behind us. I felt like I was sitting on the guys lap. It did make for some good conversation eavesdropping LOL. But again it’s very well done inside. We also got a dessert for a birthday that was phenomenal. It was a Mississippi mud pie if I remember correctly. Very rich and decadent. For the neutrals: the bread was okay and the fried pickles were good with their very herbaceous ranch. They fry bread and butter chips and dill spears in their pickle basket which I found interesting. The fish and chips were well seasoned and had a rich tar tar sauce which I personally loved. As for the negatives: I got the scallops after craving them for a couple weeks. I was very excited to see them on the menu. I didn’t read the description good enough; which I take the blame for, but they were terrible. It’s five seared scallops served with unseasoned blanched vegetables that have absolutely no synergy on the plate. Theres random green beans and edamame and a canned looking tomato mush on top of a bed of lemon dressed lettuce. It was such a strange iteration of scallops. Not only was it a confusing plate that lacked congruency, but it also made me sick. The scallops had a slight fishiness to them, which I figured was amplified due to the freezing process that probably took place on the way to the land locked city of Columbus. Turns out they either weren’t finished cooking or had some other bacteria because I spent too much time the next couple days taking g care of myself( I’ll spare those details). All in all, I would give it a try and ask for guidance from the servers for what to order. We probably didn’t pick the best options in the menu, but if they’re that bad they should even be on it.

We had a fantastic experience at The Pearl in Columbus’ Short North! The oysters were absolutely delicious, but what really stood out was the incredible service. We came in with a large group, and our server, Gary, was amazing—attentive, patient, and so accommodating. He handled everything seamlessly and went above and beyond, especially with our teenage daughters who didn’t love the short rib. He graciously helped them switch to the NY strip, which they enjoyed so much more. Truly top-tier service that made the whole evening even more memorable. The espresso martinis were some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Katzinger’s is a German deli and sandwich shop. I got the Jack Does The Funky Chicken #69 and it was delicious. My partner got Mike and Rich Follow the Bubble #76 that was also very good. They have an assortment or sides, chips, and desserts. We got their New York cheesecake, which was great. The place has a really neat atmosphere with very friendly staff. They are rather pickle themed with barrels of free pickles so if you’re a pickle person you should definitely give this place a try.

We had been waiting to go to this deli as we heard great things. The sandwiches were great. We got the soup and 1/2 sandwich combo. I got the Matza ball and my husband got the chicken noodle. The broth was the same for both and is good, homemade, but lacked a little flavor. We thought it was awesome that they had 2 barrels in the middle of the dining room where you can choose a pickle. One holds garlic and the other dill. You can either put it in a plastic tray or you can take it with you. It's self-service, you order at the counter then they bring it to your table. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. It's very comfortable, no frills, nothing fancy, just like comfortable. I liked the we are who we are vibe that it gave.

Katzinger's is hands down my favorite place to get a sandwich in the city. Everything about the experience is great. They have friendly staff, great atmosphere and the food is phenomenal. I am currently trying to order a different sandwich every time I go, but the Phil's Katzinger's Club (#41) is something I will be ordering again because it is just that good. And while the sandwiches are the stars, the sides should not be ignored! The macaroni salad and Greek salad are my favorites for sure, but everything is wonderful.

First timer today. Honey mustard was so good. I didn't enjoy the pickles. I had number 39, and a side of mac salad. very good. Staff very welcoming. Parking a bit rough. Would come again.

NY style deli just south of downtown. I walked from my hotel for lunch and grabbed a sandwich. They had so many options even after I looked online I still had trouble ordering when I got there. Ended up with the #29(?) on pumpernickel. Best corned beef and pastrami I've ever had. I could caste the difference between the two and not just salt. I should've asked for it toasted but the bread was excellent as well. I won't comment on the pickles because I brushed my teeth just before I came rendering any opinion moot. I got ex's that would be dipping cups into that brine though. Kind of wish I got the deli sized, but the normal was plenty big for me.

I have never had a bad , sandwich other than my whole on my bread this time . I love this place , they even have a card rewards to were you get a certain amount of sandwiches you get one free , I love it && they make they pickles homemade

This was a celebration for my daughters birthday. This is a beautiful restaurant. The decor is amazing. They have high beams of wood 🪵 work! I loved the presentation of the vases & the chandeliers. We had the best waitress named Casey. She went above to accommodate our needs. Especially my granddaughter has a food allergy. Kudos to the chef. I loved the hospitality of the management. I had to send my salmon 🍣 back because I was expecting the cooking a little different. Casey had them make me a new one! Based on the culinary 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳I wasn’t used to the taste! I wanted more seasoning on my salmon! I did add salt & I normally don’t use it. I appreciate the effort. I was happy with their carrot, this dessert was extremely delicious! My granddaughter who don’t like it tastes she like it. I order one to take home. My daughter enjoyed her lamb chops! My granddaughter enjoyed her pasta 🍝with cheese 🧀inside the noodles! It was good! My daughter enjoyed the cocktails 🍸 🍹 . I’ll update if I get the name! I advise you to check it out! The short north! You have to park 🅿️on street or the garage. The Guild House exceeded all expectations. Our server, Kylie, was absolutely fantastic. The lamb chops were spot on. The lobster anglotti was possibly the best pasta ever I have ever had. The caramelized banana dessert was perfect. My husband love the chocolate torte. The best part was our cocktails and appetizers were 50% off. This place is absolutely wonderful.

Not sure why this restaurant only has 4.6 stars — it truly deserves more. I’ve eaten here two days in a row, and every dish has been excellent. Simple ingredients, yet prepared so deliciously.Ben is a very caring waiter.I would recommend this place.

I chose to go to The Guild House for my birthday this year and was very pleased and happy with the experience. My husband and I ordered the gem salad and hasselback potatoes to share and for entrees chose the gnocchi and scallops. All were beautifully presented and delicious. We had a lovely and friendly waitress, Sydney. Thank you to the Guild House team for the birthday card and complimentary carrot cake dessert. All of you made my birthday very special. 😊

Really good food, but the bar area was super understaffed, which made the experience pretty slow. Our server/bartender was great, but she was covering too many tables and making drinks at the same time. We had to keep looking for her and ended up not even being able to order another drink, which was frustrating. The menu was awesome with lots of great options. I got the filet, which was cooked perfectly with great sides. The grits were surprisingly good too — creamy with an egg yolk on top that actually worked really well. They also had a great bourbon selection, which I wish I’d had more time to enjoy. The place had a fun, lively vibe and great energy. If they were better staffed, this would easily be a 5-star spot.

This old tavern has quite the history. It was near where my friend and I were staying in German Village area, and we decided to check it out. The items we had were really good. Shout out for the Mother Mohawk, which is a sandwich that sounds strange, but it was quite delicious. Roast beef, chicken salad, Swiss cheese, on rye bread. Carroway horseradish comes in the side, and I really enjoyed it on the sandwich. It is known for its turtle soup, but I ordered pablano white cheddar soup and was pleased. Good service, and you can tell it is a favorite of locals.

I ordered the fish ‘n chips and it’s a good serving. Good variety of drinks. A chill spot.

I'll be honest, I had lunch here today because I read that this building used to be a Speakeasy where Al Capone visited often. Service=Great, Food=Very Good. They're known for their turtle soup for 90 yrs. I'm not a fan of turtle as I tried it many times on my Peter Gabriel WOMAD Tour of 1993 while helping out a Louisiana Cajun catering company hired by Bill Graham Presents on that tour. I much rather watch turtles in the wild than eat them, but hey, people seem to love it. I had the vegetarian chili, which was very good. Recommended!

The old Mohawk is a mainstay in German Village and the oldest restaurant in the city. The history, ambiance and altogether great service and food will keep me coming back 💕

Food was very good. The atmosphere was very nice and fitting for German Village. Some vegetarian options, clearly labeled as such. Not many, but more than many other restaurants. Kid friendly, they have chicken strips and cheese quesadillas to name a few options. No kids’ menu unless asked for.

I still think about eating at this restaurant everyday. It’s the kind of place you walk into where you get so overwhelmed because everything looks incredible. We got the hummus and baba ghanoush bowl with meat and toppings and it’s just so freaking good. They also give you their own organic roasted fire cooked pita and it’s just next level. If you are stopping in Columbus and you don’t visit this restaurant, you are missing out! Short north in general is just a great place to go

What would it take to get this in California? I think I referred at least ten new diners here during the week we spent in Columbus, and they all loved it too! Hearty, healthy meals at an accessible price point, delicious as all get out, and almost entirely gluten free! Many of the diners I referred are gluten-free and they all enjoyed their options here. I dined here twice and got the sandwich and the salad, and both were absolutely incredible. The brisket? Melt in your mouth. We even shared lots of our meal with our nine month old baby (baby led weaning), and he also approved wholeheartedly! The service was friendly and professional, and the space was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The local friend who recommended it to me told me not to miss the tahini chocolate chip cookie, and she was SO right. Moral of the story is, I need this in the SF Bay Area, stat!

My first time eating here. I love the fast casual ordering process. Although I don’t know the name of the ingredients, I just need to point and order. The humus plate and salad plate are delicious. I love their special sauce, red pepper sauce and all vegetables. Will come back to eat again.

The food is really amazing here. It’s a fancy fast food restaurant, the food is really really good though! We ordered the salad and hummus bowls, and the pink mint lemonade to drink. Really convenient and delicious! I love fully customizable menus, and it was a big bonus that their features are really vegetarian friendly. I got the salad, which was extremely filling. I also tried the house marg, which is surprisingly tart and layered for what I was expecting from a frozen drink!

Basi was by far one of the best recommendations we’ve ever gotten. From start to finish, everything we tried was incredible. We started with the grilled artichoke carpaccio, and honestly, we are still trying to find the words to describe how amazing it was. Just unforgettable. We also had the mussels, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, however, the broth could use more seasoning. For mains, the butter-poached cod was exactly that: buttery in the best way. Every bite was rich and delicious. We also had the NY Strip Steak, which was a menu special. We ordered it medium rare but it came out rare — but that made it even better. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the pepper on top had this sweet and salty balance that worked so well. Dessert was lemon ricotta gelato and cannolis, always a win. The only small downside was that the space felt a bit hot and loud, and the chairs weren’t the most comfortable, but the food was so good it didn’t really matter. We’ll definitely be back… mostly because we can’t stop thinking about that artichoke.

We had an awesome experience at Basi Italia! The atmosphere is truly so dreamy out on the patio, the service is really great and food comes out fast- their dishes are playful with truly fantastic flavors! I will say that I think if they were able to make their pasta fresh from scratch in house, that would definitely bring their pasta game to the next level- overall, a neighborhood gem! Wonderful evening! Its been 20 years, but Basi still exceeds all expectations. MJ provided fabulous service. The Parmesan brulee was decadent, though you will need more crostinis. The lamb and eggplant parm were amazing. The special was a pork chop. It was a bit dry, but the mashed potatoes with fennel made up for it. I highly recommend the sangria, especially paired with the patio and people watching. I will not wait another 20 years til my next visit.

What A great neighborhood restaurant with a beautiful covered patio space in the back. The complimentary bread service to start with was phenomenal. We shared five appetizers - mussels, artichoke carpaccio, zucchini, Parmesan brûlée, caesar salad - and they were all great. Everyone loved their pastas, while I went with the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend Basi Italian!

Delicious! The zucchini starter was our favorite part, definitely recommend that. The artichoke starter also looked delicious, will be trying that next time we go. The focaccia bread with truffle oil that they bring out is also amazing, so unique, unlike any focaccia I’ve ever had. For mains we got the shrimp risotto special (which was just okay), and the eggplant parmesan (which was good). The patio ambience was quaint and cozy.

Unique location! (In an alley, in a small former house, with every indoor and outdoor space utilized) We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, wine, and ambiance. Easy to see why reservations are a must!! We will dine here again. Our server Andrew and manager Drew, were very knowledgeable and attentive.

Los Guachos is great! I’ve had almost all of their tacos and none disappoint. Great flavor and ingredients are simple. Salsas and guac are amazing too. Only complaint is the prices are a little high, but still worth it.

A quaint quick delicious bite that was wonderfully surprising. Clean bathrooms, kind service and delectable tacos. The carne asada taco were good and the al pastor were the best on the menu.

We’re very lucky to have a taqueria like this here. The tacos are excellent — easily the most authentic I’ve had in Ohio. They remind me of the street tacos I used to get in Phoenix. If you like spice, ask for their hot pepper at the counter. You’ll love it.

I’m always fair and honest. Food was really good. Unfortunately, the whole experience was killed by the service. The bartender wasn’t very attentive or welcoming from the first. Agree eating, I had to ask twice for the check and then finally when he gave it to me, I put money out immediately. He repeatedly walked by doing things like cutting limes or prepping. After he walked by the third time, I walked up to the girl at the counter to see if I could pay there and she looked at my check and said “he’ll get it.“ Literally would not cash me out. Small piece of advice: if you can’t do the basics or don’t want to be in the service industry or think you’re too cool to be in the service industry, then do something else. It ain’t that hard to be courteous to a customer. The whole group could not have been less welcoming if they tried. No food is that good to be treated like that. Won’t be going back.

Update: the service at this location has gone down hill. Their pickup order system is awful. For the second time I’ve came to pickup an order, paid and had a 10+ minute wait while my food was ready the whole time. Can’t go wrong with Los Guachos. Great weekly specials. Always enjoy the pastor tacos and the nachos are good as well. They recently added a bar so you can grab a drink with your tacos! Solid 4.5* in my book.

Los Guachos Taquería never disappoints! I always get the tacos al pastor—they’re incredible every time. I’m also a big fan of their plantains and chips. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is great too. One of my go-to spots!

I've been in Columbus for about 5 years and it was my first time trying them about a week ago! I should've tried them sooner! My order was a Large pepperoni pizza and their lasagna bites to go! The pizza: cheesy, HOT, full of flavor, and absolutely fresh! You can tell they make their dough in house, simply by the pleasant smell of the yeast, delightfully shouting at your nostrils, when you go to take a bite! The Lasagna Bites, everything you'd love about a homemade lasagna from your Grandmother, but succulently elevated by it being deep fried! The outside is crispy and the inside is a beautiful lasagna! Whether you're just visiting Columbus or staying, I would ABSOLUTELY make Hound Dog's Pizza, a 1st stop!

I am in the area from out of town and checked pizza reviews near my hotel, Houndogs was highly rated on Google maps. First impressions was it's got a unique atmosphere and did not feel uncomfortable as a woman having dinner alone. My server Kevin was great. He had a great personality and was all around an awesome dude. He definitely fit the atmosphere. The pizza was good. The crust was great crisp on the bottom and a nice texture. I had the traditional crust w/ a little garlic flavor but not overwhelming. I would definitely visit again.

Houndog's has been the best pizza in columbus for the past decade or more. Everytime I've been the food has been on point. The staff is always accommodating for allergy substitutions for my little one. Cheese on the garlic cheesey bread was like out of a commercial, perfectly cheesey. They made us a fresh batch of lemonade while we were there as well.

I had my 60th Birthday celebration at Hounddog’s Pizza on Saturday. We ordered 8 pizzas between all the people in our party. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food was out to our table in a timely fashion. Our waitress Angela was friendly and professional. My husband called ahead to secure seating for 11 and you delivered. There was no extra charge. Thank you Hounddog’s for everything. Your atmosphere was nice, your location convenient there was even parking. We had several people who had never had your pizza- everyone loved it!

It was everything I had hoped it was and more. The vibe has a great vibe. The pizza was incredible. Packed with flavors in every bite. The nachos were stacked and amazing.

First time ordering from this place. Had tried it before and it was delicious but when ordering myself for the first time I’m disappointed. The crust doesn’t look at all like the Smokin joes crust I’ve seen before. It was very thin not at all like other reviews. I asked for it well done and this is not very baked. Called and spoke to the manager, he was kind and solved the issue. Hopefully it was just an off day and next time will be better.

Loved this place. Basic good breakfast food at a cheap price for the area. The young guy working as a host is weirdly accurate with guessing wait times, we waited 28 minutes and he said 30 after just looking around the restaurant when we came in. Super welcoming and organized place. I hope to come back soon!

I was visiting from out of town and on my last day, went here for breakfast. I'm originally from the east coast, and this brought back so many good memories. The food was amazing (I had biscuits and gravy) and the service was top notch. Be prepared to wait for a table if there's no room at the bar, but it's worth the wait!

Picked this shop as it was recommended as the best apple fritter in Columbus. So as an apple fritter lover I had high hopes. For me this is not a great apple fritter. I look for a nice crispy outside, soft chewy inside with the obvious chunks of apples. This one had the crispy outside but the inside felt a little dry and lacked any apple chucks. Had they had apple chunks inside It probably would have helped with multitude and been perfect. But as it was it felt like it was at least a half day old and not that great. The blueberry donut had a good flavor but again felt maybe older than desireable. I understand they are 24hrs but some things tasted to have certainly been on the shelf just as many hours. I know the blueberry donuts usually aren’t as airy as a plain glazed and more cake like but this one was dense and slightly dry. As for the service, that was 5 star. The cashier was helpful, and patient while I decided what I wanted and got request from others over the phone. I will say while I was already getting the Apple fritter he recommend that and the blueberry which both missed the mark. Maybe they are/were slow sellers and that was his way of pushing them but they were not what he claimed they would be. “Top favorites” Over all decent service but low grade donuts and unfortunate I can’t eat the service. Late night cravings this place would be perfect. For fresh quality donuts with good filling in the morning probably not the best choice.

Yep, this place is good. Full selection of doubts, and other food mind you, but come for the donuts. Right off campus of OSU, so it’s a perfect location. Open 24/7 for all your snacking needs. They usually have a deal by x many and get one free, worth the extra to take home, or make new friends.

Buckeye Donuts: The Real Deal As a self-proclaimed donut snob, I can confidently say Buckeye Donuts is worth every single calorie. Their blueberry donut? Arguably the best I've ever had. The glaze donut has this incredible, subtle vanilla note, and the donut itself is perfectly fluffy and not too sweet. Believe the hype – it's that good.

01/20/2025 - I recently visited this Condado Taco for the first time and was pleased with its spacious interior. They also had a nice outdoor patio. Nice bar set up. I ordered for carryout 3 chicken tacos on hardshell and they were good. Psychedelic drink menu. A few and mounted big flat screen tv’s for your entertainment. This evening was busy for carryout. Highly recommend placing an order in advance. Friendly service. Limited and timed parking nearby. Decent prices.

It’s conveniently located near the Ohio Theater and Scioto mile but the food is just so so compared to other Condados locations. I order two tacos with onions and cilantro and the were pitifully onioned with no cilantro. The service was just okay, our food came out very fast which was nice but we had to wait a while for drink refills and for our check

Went in with my now fiancé for some of my favorite rango tango tacos! It was busy but we found a spot at the bar and was promptly greeted by Kristen asking what we’d like. I immediately ordered (we were starving) and she got it right in. It came out so quick and was delicious. Kristen served us the rest of the night and was very attentive, personal, and gave great recommendations. Awesome place, better service!

This is a very Americanized taco joint, nothing remotely near authentic. Food was eatable, but surprizingly flavorless. We are not locals. We online ordered the taco bowls for takeout. Website ordering is well designed. Orders were ready when we arrived, and accurate. Too bad our taste buds were disappointed, as we anticipated the seasonings of real Mexican cuisine.

An unforgettable dining experience! The service was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive—especially the lovely server with glasses (absolutely adored her!). The food was outstanding; I visited three times during my four-day stay in Columbus, and would’ve happily made it four if they hadn’t been closed on Wednesday. I tried the rice bowl with Angus beef, the signature Tiger Ramen, and the pop fries with beef topping—which were so generously portioned, they could easily be considered a full entrée. It's a very cute vibe. A nice place to take as a 1st date. The staff was lovely, very nice and kind. They made accommodations for my gluten-free diet restrictions. The food had a different twist than your usually Thai & Vietnamese food. + Dessert was delish!!!

The teriyaki tofu was absolutely delicious! Loved the flavor and it seemed very healthy! I really love and appreciate the labeling on the menu. We also got the passionfruit tea and it was so tasty and fresh!

Absolutely loved my visit to Tiger Lilly! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. We tried the Angus noodle soup, miso broth, and spiced edamame—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Perfect balance of comfort and bold flavor. Great spot for a relaxed lunch or a cozy dinner date. Definitely coming back! 🍜🥢💯

This is my first ever favorite ramen place. It has been for years, but I’ve been coming more often recently. I always get the Mala firecracker ramen which is always bomb and I just recently tried the lemongrass chicken rice bowl which was very yummy and fresh 😊

Quaint and trendy at the same time. Service was great! Food servings are filling! The k-town sauce is a bit on the salty side, but adds a nice subtle heat! The veggies taste fresh and the meat is delicious! Overall a fantastic place to dine!

What a great find, driving back to Cleveland from Cincinnati, travelling with a veg and a vegan. Everything was full of great flavor. Sadly they had run out of paprikas so I didn't get to try it.

No complaints at all. Instant service, amazing food, chill atmosphere. The pierogi's were great but not incredible. However, the Kielbasa (the food in the picture, I forgot the name) was beyond amazing. Get an appetizer with 1-4 Pierogi's and leave with a full happy stomach. 5/5 Definitely try this place out!

Delicious! Sweet alternative playlist, quick and kind service, wholesome food, and great drinks! My girlfriend and I found this place while perusing the restaurants open late after a show we'd been to. It was slow, just 3 tables with us, but the staff was still ready and attentive. I ordered a Snow Job from Working Class Brewery and my girlfriend got a strawberry rhubarb long drink which may have been out of season, but it was very good! I ordered the sauerkraut balls which were creamy, tangy, and crispy. Then I ordered 3 pierogies and a sausage. The mushroom and Rooskie were similar in taste, onion and potato flavors mostly, but the Caribbean jerk one was crazy good! It tasted spicy, sweet, and had a strong allspice flavor. The spice was pretty intense with great flavor! The sausage was smokey and crispy. It all went together famously. My girlfriend got the chicken paprikash which was like a well seasoned chicken and dumplings. Good for a cold night. "delicious, like a warm hug" she said. I'll be back!

Pierogi Mountain is awesome. The name says it all. Great pierogis in a comfortable fun environment. Tons of great choices for both vegetarian and meat eaters alike. Highly recommend.

Very delicious food with a very cool vibe and good music. They have table seating and a really large bar. I had the potato, sauerkraut and mushroom perigi, the aloo vindaloo perogi as well as the seitan schnitzel sandwich. Everything was amazing, tasty and wish I could try everything. They are bookmarked now and if I'm passing through again, it's definitely a must stop for me.

More unique options. Vegetarian options. The bbq sauce for cauliflower bites is amazing. Everything was really good. Our server was nice. Clean. Fast service. Much better than most Polish food establishments.

Stopped by for dinner with the family when in downtown Columbus. Coming from Cleveland where pierogis are well known, I can tell you I did not have high expectations - however I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was able to order their own selection of pierogis, and all the orders came out correctly - where six was probably the right number to get. The pierogis were great, came with onions and sour cream, and were available in a large number of different flavors. The traditional potato and cheese was my favorite, but I did try four different flavors. The paprikash poutine was also very good and paired well with the pierogis. Definitely worth stopping by when you are in town.

Cool place- nice vibe. Food was unique and delicious. We tried peirogies (yum), haluski (my favorite), mushroom stroganoff poutaine (loved it), cauliflower (delish) and saurerkraut balls (super good). Everything was made from scratch and really, really good. Would go back if I lived in the area.

We were looking for good, local, coffee shops on TikTok while we were in town. The Roosevelt Coffeehouse was one of many recommended, but upon visiting the website, the first statement that caught my eye was: “The Roosevelt Coffeehouse is built to support organizations fighting the injustices of hunger, unclean water, and human trafficking both locally and around the world.” This mission alone made the decision to visit an effortless one. Stepping inside, the ambiance was both serene and inviting, open-concept, thoughtfully designed space that immediately felt welcoming. Despite it bustling with customers, seating was abundant, and the service was warm, attentive, and impressively efficient. Their coffee menu caters to every preference, offering a range of expertly crafted selections. For those who prefer dairy alternatives, they provide both almond and oat milk. Notably, their coffee is not overly sweet, allowing the depth and complexity of the roast to shine through beautifully. In addition to coffee, they offer a selection of pastries, bagels and other eats. For drinks other than coffee they have an assortment of teas, juices, and artisanal sodas. Guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi and filtered water, while a curated merchandise section adds to the experience. As an added delight, the space also serves as a live music venue, making it far more than just a coffee shop, it’s a thoughtfully curated destination with a purpose.

LOVED this coffee spot. Tons of seating for lots of people in front and back. Only one bathroom. The music playing was great, and baristas were top notch. Incredible pastries. I had the cherry almond pop tart. The cold brew was smooth. So glad I stopped in while visiting Colombia. Parking is tough so plan on paying from 8am to 8pm

Was visiting Columbus for a concert and this little coffee shop is amazing! The coffee is delicious with their crafted drinks having just the right amount of sweetness. They have a record player and records to choose from to put on some music which really adds to the vibe of the place. The staff was very friendly and ready to answer any questions and service was fast. Plenty of seating to go around. Would be a great place to sit and study or read while enjoying some fantastic coffee! I got the cinnamon roll cappuccino and my sisters got hot chocolate and a s'mortado. They have bags of coffee you can purchase and some apparel as well, it's coffee for a good cause that goes towards helping the community! Glad we decided to check it out while in town!

All I can say is I'm in love! Its the whole thing too. The vibe from the minute you walk in the door, the decor, I love the diversity of the customers. On to the coffee, hands down best coffee I've ever had, flavors are delicious! And they have a bakery type section with homemade muffins & pop tarts. If you haven't been, GO!

Years ago, I LOVED this place. The coffee was always amazing as was the atmosphere. After moving out of cbus whenever I come back and get the chance to visit, I do! I’m not sure if it’s now under new management or if they’ve made changes due to inflation, but I was very very disappointed. I ordered a cinnamon pumpkin coffee for starters. I asked if they could do it cold and they said… no? Which was odd. Then my sister wanted an iced Carmel macchiato and… they don’t do that either. They showed us the size of the hot version and it was a shot glass (strange, but maybe that’s more authentic or something?). My sister ended up getting the same thing as me. Long story short, they never asked what size we wanted and I just assumed like any other year I’ve been here that their sizing was the same. For two coffees this size, two pop tarts, and a tip is was $26 which to me is insane. Genuinely my coffee was the size of my pinky. I said nothing when they were making it because surely those were not our coffees and I was NOT trying to be that guy. The coffee tasted fine but this was honestly so disappointing I will never come back after years and years of coming here. Whatever you guys have changed, I hope for the sake of loyal customers you go back to the old ways!

I came on a Sunday afternoon, so it was pretty packed. The line to order was short, but the line of drinks on the bar was long. I intended to get a pour over, but I knew the wait would be a while, so I just opted to get a drip. It was good. The holiday drink menu seemed pretty good. Lots of seating available. I’d definitely go back…hopefully when it’s less busy.

Love this place so much! The bagels are incredible, very New York style, chewy, amazing flavor and texture. Tons of sandwich options, or just get a bagel and cream cheese: plenty of different flavors! Also…. oh my god, the fried potato. This might be my favorite bite of food in the city. Get a side of egg sauce! Great vibe also: very laid back, clean, and super kind staff. Angling to become a regular.

My husband and I went to Lox on a Saturday morning! Wow was it packed! The place is such an adorable and quant restaurant It had plenty of seating inside and an adorable patio outside. We both ordered the lox bagel. Mine on sea salt and his on sesame! OH MY GOSH…. These bagels were to die for. They make the bagels right there in the shop. They’re super super fresh and the sandwiches were amazing. Don’t get me started on the service. Their team there was above top notch! I can’t say enough about how exceptional our breakfast was!

Went in around 10:30 am on a Saturday in August and only waited ~3 minutes to order! What a surprise! We were prepared to wait for a few extra minutes. We ordered the egg and cheese (with sausage) on a salt and herb bagel. The bagel was so delicious. It was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It had large flakes of salt on it and the herbs were not over powering (love). We also ordered an everything bagel with lox (added egg). Also very delicious. We will be coming back tomorrow! It was about $30 for two bagels adding protein to each bagel.

Stopped in after searching for good bagels in Columbus. Chatted with the owner a little on social media and was super excited to stop in. At arrive I noticed the line was of length which is usually a good sign. I ordered the sea salt and herb bagel with chive cream cheese, generous on the cream cheese. As well as the potatoes as were recommended by the owner. The bagel itself was delicious. Good crunch to chewy fluff ration good flavor. The bagel itself solid. Personally they were not generous with the cream cheese as requested and honestly even short changed in the amount for a normal bagel. For the cost I’d expect they would give you an amount cream cheese that was fair. As for the recommended crispy potatoes… well they missed the mark. Light airy fry on them but completely flat on flavor. Zero seasoning and salt. Which with the bagel being well seasoned I was at a shock. I had to go to the counter and request salt to Sprinkle over the potatoes to make them Even semi worth it. If properly seasoned they are probably delicious but what I received 100% missed the mark and after being an owner recommendation thats worry some.

I got the lox with egg on an everything bagel. The bagel, spicy chive cream cheese and egg were of excellent quality. The letdown was the lox itself. It wasn’t fresh at all and had a strong odour. I’ve eaten lox my whole life and I understand there is a smokey fishy taste but this was not tbat. It just wasn’t fresh and had that old fish odour. I had to take it out to enjoy the rest of my bagel. I also ordered the house made Blueberry Mint Lemonade and it was delicious. Id come back for the egg and cheese bagels next time.

We tried this spot for the first time on Saturday morning and the egg & cheese bagels were just okay. Honestly, we’ve had better bagels in Columbus. The wait was insane and may be normal for any Short North restaurant/cafe —about 20 minutes in line to order, plus another 20 minutes to finally get our food. Parking can be tricky; you might get lucky finding a free parking spot in their parking lot otherwise there’s paid street parking available. Limited seating tables and chairs. The employees were kind enough to bring orders out to customers. Tip: place your order online (about 25–30 minute normal wait) so it’s ready when you arrive.

We had a wonderful time at our stop at Fox in the Snow! The staff was amazing, the food was incredible and the coffee was divine! Seriously, we came in like a whirlwind, a toddler, infant and 4 adults, we aren’t the usual clientele but we were welcomed and never made to feel like we were too much or need to hurry out. We got to sit and visit before we left and went our separate ways. As a bonus, all of the fox décor made my heart happy. We made some fond memories on this trip and Fox in the Snow Cafe is one of the best! Would highly recommend it and will look forward to coming back someday when we’re in the area again!

Really excellent pastries and baked goods - I am a huge pastry snob and theirs are all good. Also great that they gave a good mix of both sweet and savory options. Loved the seasonal pumpkin muffin and everything bagel danish creation. Gets very busy especially on the weekends, so atmosphere is a bit chaotic but it’s a really nice space.

After a game of pickleball at Schiller Park, I stopped by the German Village location of Fox in the Snow—and it hit the spot. Whether you’re refueling after being active or just looking for a quiet mid-morning escape during the workweek, this location is ideal. I ordered a blueberry scone, the ham and cheese sandwich, the everything vegan croissant, and a chai latte. As always, their chai never disappoints—when I’m in the mood for one, this is my go-to. The ham and cheese sandwich was the unexpected star. I went in thinking it would be a small snack, but it was generously filled and surprisingly satisfying. The sesame seed topping added a nice crunch. I do wish they’d offer to heat it up, but they don’t. The everything bagel croissant was flavorful, but just a heads-up: the center tends to be a bit doughy. Not a deal-breaker, just something to expect. The blueberry scone was okay—visually beautiful, but it flakes down the middle and felt a little dry. I think halving the thickness would help distribute the sugary topping more evenly throughout each bite. Overall, Fox in the Snow is a great spot for a light, quality bite in a charming neighborhood. The menu has standouts, the setting is peaceful, and it’s a perfect pit stop if you’re in the area.

Super cute cafe with lots of options. All of their pastries are so good and fresh. Service was great. The coffee was good too. They use the cutest, daintiest glasses for water.

A lovely spot for an excellent latte, their coffee is full bodied and cuts through the layer of perfectly steamed milk. They also make a very good chai latte. The egg sandwich is the go to here and deservingly so. The perfectly toasted bun and great balance between egg, arugula, and bacon should be part of every order. While borderline too sweet, their sticky buns have the perfect texture and loads of pecans.

The cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are so good. Ham and cheese is delicious. Went on a Saturday morning and the line was out the door. The line moved quickly. Seating was hard to come by, but we managed to snag a table. Fast paced and noisy. They keep it clean and staff is on top of it. I recommend!

Nice Somali restaurant in North Market. My first time eating Somali food. I got the rice bowl with the Mango Chicken and another chicken. I also got 2 types of rice. Everything was delicious and tasty. Everyone was very friendly. The prices are okay not cheap. I paid $18.00 for my bowl.

The mango chicken is absolutely incredible! We’re usually in town near North Market once a year - and this is my guaranteed stop each time. The rice bowl with mango chicken is incredible! The garlic yogurt sauce is my go to on top. Huge portion sizing!

First time eating here and was blown away with how good it was! So many spices that blended well and didn’t over power the dish. I got a mix of based and proteins and the woman who took my order was super sweet and nice! She explained all the options and gave me her recommendations as it was my first time! Highly recommend them!

I visited Columbus last month. Hoyo's was one of my very best experiences! The food was just so tasty, hearty, healthy, nice & spicy (but they have non spicy options). There's lots of other food options in this food court/building, but if I return to Columbus I'll be going to Hoyo's again before try any of the others! The person helping me was also very friendly & welcoming. The upstairs seating area had AC & lots of places to sit

Outstanding food and service. I asked the young man working for his suggestion and he delivered a flavor packed bowl of deliciousness. I cannot speak highly enough of their Mango Chicken. I will be having Hoyo’s every time I’m at North Market from here on.

Recommend: goat (as long as you don't mind bones), beef sambusa, Somali rice, mango juice Good: mango chicken, chicken sambusa They did leave the bay leaf in the goat curry, so look out for that, but the food is pretty good. The mango chicken wasn't as tender as we hoped. The goat is lovely but it's not for someone who minds bones (I definitely don't and enjoyed it a lot) The sambusas are great snacks and are crispy when you first get them The mango juice was sweet and refreshing.

At the North Market. Had the mango chicken, spinach, cabbage and rice. Vegan options available. Also tried the beef samosa. Liked the samosa wished it was a little warmer and crispy. Chicken was very sweet and some sneaky heat.

Very nice coffee shop. The seating is not exactly comfortable but the coffee is good. Def a place to check out in your coffee crawl thru Colombia!

I loved the coffee here! My husband and I have an espresso machine and are very picky about our coffee and we loved this place. Highly recommend the pink cold foam. The baristas were also very friendly and didn't seem bothered by my young kids who were with us.

Really cool coffee and roastery! The coffee here is so fresh since they roast the beans here. The staff is friendly and talented with making a nice latte with latte art. Brioso has a nice coffee shop vibe with plenty of seating. This may have been the best tasting coffee we had during our trip to Columbus. Definitely worth checking out if you’re serious about quality coffee!

Really nice place in a sort of random location in town. Easy to get in & out of as there is a parking lot right next door. Pour-over coffee was pretty good and the staff was super friendly. We got a small dessert which was pretty good. Nice layout to hang out and relax here. Will be back someday for sure.

One of the best coffee spots in Columbus, if not THE BEST!! Lots of seating and a cozy reading area with cushioned seats by a corner window. The roasting happens right in this location so you feel like you’re a part of the process and not in a franchised looking location. Happy staff, good parking meters nearby and the coffee is fantastic.

When I'm in town visiting family, I always stock up on Brioso beans for the road. These days I'm enjoying honey-process and anaerobic-process coffees, and Brioso always has great ones available (currently loving the Costa Rica Finca Desamparados). Very grateful. 😁☕ (eta: The Costa Rica Alto El Vapor is a wonderful coffee -- fruity with a hint of anaerobic inquisitiveness ☕🔥)

Delicious coffee and even better atmosphere! The people who work at Brioso are so nice and knowledgeable about coffee and I felt better taken care of than most other places I visited in Columbus. As for quality, I don’t think there’s any better coffee in the city, my latte was literally perfect, one of the best I’ve had in a while. I tried a few other shops in the area and none of them were comparable to Brioso!

I visited Bodega on a Saturday night with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive. They assisted us with finding a table when we booked a reservation incorrectly.The restaurant decor was nice. The food was good as well. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was an 8/10. I would give the Cripsy Chicken Sandwich (Nashville Hot Chicken Style) a 7/10. I liked the sauce but the chicken itself wasn’t very well seasoned, though it was nicely cooked. The fries were an 8/10 with a good balance of crispiness and flavor. The Moscow Mule was also an 8/10. The taste was good. I didn’t feel as much of a buzz as I usually do with a mule, but that could have been due to me drinking my cocktail a little slower than usual. I would order the drink again. A few critiques are that they were out of white wine and therefore couldn’t make a drink one of my friends was interested in. They also switched the vibe of the restaurant around 10 o’clock. It took on more of a bar/club scene. Staff stationed themselves at the door and began checking people’s I.D.’s prior to entry and a DJ started playing really loud music that made it difficult to hear one another as we talked at our table. This wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. The DJ sounded good. It just wasn’t the setting we were looking for. It would have been nice if the staff would have communicated this switch to us a few minutes prior or when we arrived, so we’d have a heads up. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and I would return.

Bodega is a really solid brunch spot, and the prices are fair for what you get. We went on a Saturday around 10:15 a.m. (they open at 10), and while our black coffee took a little longer than expected — they had just run out of filters — the staff fixed it pretty quickly. Everything else was great. The chicken and waffles were amazing, and the biscuits and gravy were full of flavor. Definitely a tasty spot for brunch.

Great location in the short north for people watching. Oh do not forget to make a reservation beforehand otherwise you'll have to wait as the restaurant is quite cozy with limited tables and seats.

We went there to try out the new brunch and my friend and I both got the $12 grilled cheese, she got hers with fries, I did mine with tomato soup. The grilled cheese came out and it only had cheese in between the white bread. It didn’t have any basil, aioli, or tomato basil bread as the menu mentioned. (I included pictures). The soup given was also in a mini container, much smaller than their $3 deal. When we told our waitress about the grilled cheeses missing the ingredients, she went back to the chef and when she came back she had two aiolis in the side for us to use. She said that the chef insisted they were made right, when clearly they weren’t. We paid $24 plus tax and tip for a basic grilled cheese when we ordered ‘their bodega specialty’. The waitress even stated that we were in the right and that the food was wrong. Not sure what can be done, but really unfortunate as we were trying to celebrate my bday. There were also a ton of flies everywhere and one even landed on my bowl which really sucked. I included pictures to see if anything could be done, because we clearly didn’t get what we ordered.

The food here is great! I love Sunday brunch best chicken and waffles I have ever had (imo). Just make sure to arrive before 2pm as the kitchen closes for one hour from 3-4pm. Also in my opinion they do get short staffed when they get busy. There has been a few times it’s taken quit a long time to wait for the food and also the server may not check back after delivery of the food and I have had to flag them down for the check on more than one occasion. I don’t fault them as it’s a small place and gets full really fast at brunch.

I liked the vibe of this place and the food was so good, too. We came on a Saturday when brunch was being served and I thought it was a wide range of options, so anyone could find something they like. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. It did feel a tiny bit pricey for what we got, but I think everything in Columbus is that way. We would definitely come back again when we are in the area!

Really bummed. This place used to be great. They changed the menu recently. The brunch is all sugary, fried food. They used to have healthier and more savory options as well as fruit. Neither bathroom (men or women) had toilet paper, the women’s was out of soap, and the whole thing was just really unappealing.

Love this place and the location. The pizza was delicious and is a favorite in our household. The salmon sandwich is really good, so do not be afraid to try it. There’s a lot of bread for a small piece of fish, so cut that bun in half. Totally would recommend the lemonade as well. Enjoy!

Delicious fried chicken sandwich, pizza and great patio atmosphere. We had a feeling the chicken sandwich was a must order and we were right— That fried chicken sandwich is amazing. We also ordered the lunch sized almond pesto pizza— delish too. Fried potatoes crispy and perfect!

Artisan pizza in the heart of Bexley. We scored an outdoor seat on a beautiful Friday evening around 6pm. We got the Double Bacon Three cheese pizza. With the notes of spicy honey lingering at the end it was cheesy and a very light delight. Not hard to eat a pizza to yourself here. It is some of the best I have had here in Columbus and I see why it's $20+ for a personal pizza. Little burnt on the crust in my opinion but it was overall good. Our server, Millie was kind and provided prompt service. I'll be back to try more variations!

Really great flavors on the two pizzas we ordered. It is... An investment, but seemed on par with other eating establishments in Bexley area. My friend enjoyed the beer selection. The crust was great and the flavors were thought through. One was the, um, Marconi? It has a bite, but the other pizza we got was the quattro formaggi (?) and it was rich she smooth and buttery. They were both delicious for difference reasons. We actually sat at the bar and and bartender was very attentive to our needs. It was busy there on a Friday night, but I felt our order came more quickly than I expected. A great experience in a great area of Columbus.

We tried several different kinds of pizza. They were all awesome. Buffalo cauliflower was great. The only thing that we did not relish was the bruschetta. It was acceptable but we've had better ones elsewhere. The service was fast and friendly. We would definitely come here again

I ordered lunch from Harvest Pizzeria in Bexley a few days ago. A coworker suggested the vegan pepperoni and peppers pizza (add vegan sausage) because I gave up pork almost a year and a half ago. Let me say, it was worth every bite! I ordered carryout. The staff was so pleasant and hospitable. It's just the welcome you want to receive when patronizing an establishment. My pizza was hot and ready when I arrived. You cannot tell this is vegan! This pizza is a great balance between not missing the meat taste and not tasting plant-based, if that makes sense. It had great flavor and I wish I'd ordered the dinner portion for leftovers later on. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because I didn't sit down to eat my meal to get the full feel of the atmosphere, but I loved the carryout experience! I'm definitely going back!

10 stars? Why is the limit just 5? My sister introduced me to this place the last time I was home for Christmas and have been thinking about the Joya’s Breakfast Sandwich since then. It’s such an amazing and unique sandwich that I have to savor every single bite! This time around we ended up coming here twice in six days (whoops) but I had to get my fill since I’m only home once a year! We also tried the scotch egg (could have literally drank the sauce it was served with), the fried rice and the chicken and vegetable samosa. All were excellent. The second day we decided to do the mini breakfast sandwich (great addition since the last time I was here!) and the Kati roll. We both really enjoyed the Kati roll and it was incredibly filling. We will continue to try all of the menu! I love that this little shop is always packed when we go and hope they continue to find success within local community because food is just top notch.

This might be my new favorite restaurant in Columbus! We had to wait about 30 min to get in, but it was definitely worth the wait. Kati roll was AMAZING with bursting flavors and crunchy texture. Bobby's style breakfast sandwich was also very tasty with buttery eggs and sweet/savory bacon, but honestly kati roll was too good that the breakfast sandwich didn't really stand out. Not pad thai was a solid 8 out of 10 but the noodles werd a bit soggy. Definitely going back soon to get more kati roll!!

very good! the staff are so sweet. we waited in line outside of the door around 12:30pm and it took about 10 minutes to be up to order, not long at all. it was very helpful that they found our fcfs table for us, they seem to be good about making sure people don’t take tables before ordering which is nice. I got the vegan not pad thai and it was really delicious, a little oily but still good. I would try one of the other vegan options next time since the not pad thai is $19 which is a bit overpriced imo. I wish the tofu sandwich had a vegan option, my brother got a sandwich with tofu and egg on it and it looked really good.

Girl at the register was very welcoming and sweet, and this is one of the only places I've been that asks about dietary restrictions when ordering. On top of that, the breakfast sandwich is out of this world. A bit of spice so if you're someone who can't handle I'd be careful, but absolutely worth it! The eggs were incredibly soft and fluffy, the bacon had a fantastic crunch, and all around the flavors mixed very well. A little on the expensive side for a small breakfast sandwich though. The cold brew coffee is also some of the best I've had around town, rivaling Java Central in uptown Westerville. I also got a donut which compared to the other two items was just OK, but still not bad. I'll absolutely be back here again and highly suggest anyone else to also check it out as well, you won't be disappointed!

Really delicious food. Love the Bengali touch - I feel like that’s unheard of and so hard to find. The Kati roll is a must. I also enjoyed their rose mocha. ☕️ definitely pricey and I was surprised that there were pork options because that is not a common meat type for Bangladesh. 🇧🇩 I wish they remained authentic and removed the pork or had it available as a side if anything. Small location, limited seating.

My favorite lunch spot! Well worth the hour drive. Can’t beat the nitro chai and Joya’s fried rice! Not pad thai and crispy manchurian sandwich are also amazing!

The most unique flavors I've experienced in Columbus. Ive never had Benagli food but holyyyy am I a fan now. Anything you order off their menu will be a dream of a taste. Their Kati roll!?!?!??! YES. You must try it.

First time there. The burgers were good, the bacon was a little under cooked. The fries were delicious. The gluten free chicken tenders and chunks were a little over cooked but good. We will go back for another taste. The mushroom burger was the best on the menu. Big, juicy and great taste.

This place made my whole day! I was suspicious if it was gluten free because that’s how good it was. The whole family ate for a nice price (especially for gluten free). I couldn’t stop eating if I tried. The hotdog was so thick and juicy just the way I like it and the chicken was perfectly crafted with honey for extra flavor. It certainly made up for a terrible morning experience at the Good Cafe. Will definitely be coming back!

When looking for a good burger in Columbus Prestons came up almost everytime. I decided to add it to my dinner plans. When I arrived the space was smaller than expected but felt perfect. We grabbed a table and ordered with the QR code for ease. Then we decided to move outside so I went to the register and let the female know we had moved and added some max and cheese. She was very friendly and helpful. She explained the Mac and cheese might be out a few minutes after but would follow quickly after the burgers. The food arrive hot and came out quick considering it was pretty much a full house. We ordered the pastrami bacon double which had the perfect smash burger crispiness and paired well with the bacon and sauce. We also ordered the spicy boi chicken sandwich, which was very crispy, juicy, and had a generous amount of pimento cheese on top. Then came the Mac and cheese which was cheesy, hot, and a good texture. The noodles weren’t over cooked and it all worked. My only complaint was it lacked a little salt. But I added a packet mixed it and it went over the top. The fries were standard as expected. Hot, crispy, and enjoyable. Nothing crazy but fresh which is important. Oh and the hot dog. She’s a THICK one for sure. At least 1/4 pounder. Not those skimp Oscar Mayer wienies. Over all great customer service, hot and fresh food, and a nice space!! Would absolutely return!

I saw a post on IG about their new brunch menu. When I looked online to place a pick-up order, they didn't have the options I was expecting them to have. I did try the Good Morning burger though and it was AMAZING! 10/10! Can't wait to try some of their other options, like the creme brulee French toast. This was my first time there and I'll be back with friends!

I went in and there were a few people huddled at the bar (I believe they were all employees). I think one of them acknowledged me coming in, but didn't greet me or show me to a table. I just sat wherever, and saw that it was all order through an app. I'm sure this is great for some people, but honestly if I wanted an impersonal experience I would just order takeout. A burger, fries, and drink came to over 15 bucks. The burger was fine, but nothing to write home about. They also don't have a place to select temperature, so I guess it has to be well done (which for a place advertising THICK burgers is a cardinal sin). The fries were also decent but not outstanding. They don't have fountain drinks. It is unclear if you are supposed to get your drink yourself from the cooler or not. There were somehow TWO hairs in my burger. The "spicy" burger isn't spicy. Overall, I had heard they had good food but I found the place to be entirely disappointing. The burger has a really good fat to meat ratio and appears to use a good quality of beef, but the experience in general was pretty lack luster. There is literally NO service, and the atmosphere felt like a ghost town. I don't think they even had music playing.

The service is all around fantastic and the staff is super attentive. The food is very well done and each dish has a unique twist. Street parking can be a hassle, but they offer reasonable valet parking. Happy to see a business like this stay alive in such uncertain times. Thank you for a great meal and first visit!

We have slowly gotten around to uncovering all of the Central Ohio eats, and stumbled upon my new favorite here recently. First off, this is a place where classic food service and atmosphere still thrive. Our server (Carl) years in the business, so attentive and sincere, made perfect eye contact; he was exceptional. The food was just so good, every single thing was perfectly cooked, one of the more memorable Columbus meals I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, I don’t have much else to say except everything was perfect through and through.

First time here and was very impressed. From the welcoming and professional staff in the front of the house to the well prepared dishes that came out of the kitchen. We had the veal osso buco and sauteed scallops with grits. Both were fantastic and cooked perfectly. Was a bit loud in the dining room for a romantic dinner but overall it was a good experience and we will be back.

I’m sure the experience of dining in makes an occasion more special and perhaps the food more enjoyable, or maybe it’s the addition of a great dessert! Regardless, the food didn’t impress me as much as I was hoping. I ordered to go the shrimp & grits and the seared scallops with pork belly. The grits were delicious, but overall the dish was soo salty, I couldn’t bear to finish much of the meat without more and more water. The scallops were delicious as scallops are with a lemon dressing that was enjoyable; but the pork belly was an end slice that was overcooked and instead of a melt-in-your-mouth styled pork belly, it was a chew-through with the fat not soft but rubbery.. Other menu items might fare more flavorful for the price.

Loved this place. Cozy and romantic. Our dinner was excellent. Service was fantastic. Gave 4 star due to Appetizer. Felt the calamari was dry. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Wonderful anytime of year but the Restaurant Week menu was amazing. The duck burgoo was spicy and satisfying. The trout was perfectly cooked and the lemon gingersnap was the perfect ending. And John at the bar makes some of the best cocktails. The Cardi Bees Knees, so good.

One of the best resturants I've eaten at in a long time. The staff was excellent, the food was divine and the cocktails were perfect. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area

Carolina sandwich was good but pretty dry. Prices have definitely skyrocketed, but that's to be expected. Overall, a good experience. The greens were excellent

This RayRays is a food truck with covered picnic table seating. The ribs and mac n cheese were great. The service was friendly and quick. We ate at the picnic tables. You can get drinks from the brewery across the parking lot and there is a big screen TV outside that was showing a European soccer match. I will say that we walked three blocks from COSI and the area felt a little sketchy.

Don’t know what made us look at the menu this time (vegetarian) but I’m so glad we did. The Burnt ends cauliflower sandwich was AMAZING!! And the waffle fries were cooked to perfection! Will def be getting that again! Highly recommend!

Nice setup by a brewery (highlight of our meal, delicious cocktail and cider) but this review is about the food and the service. Burnt ribs, overcooked brisket, sausage, pulled pork, chicken... we ordered everything on the menu and couldn't eat any of it. This is not a serious place for good BBQ.

I ordered the brisket sandwich with Carolina vinegar sauce on the side, and waffle fries. The brisket was tender and juicy with a nice kissed smoky flavor. I could have used a touch more smoke, but that's coming from someone who really enjoys a lot of smoke flavor that others might find overwhelming. I actually preferred the sandwich without the sauce which I had ordered on the side. Thought that the brisket had enough great flavor on its own. Fries were crispy and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Nice to have this in the land grant brewery lot while enjoying a beer.

I spent years living in Texas so I’m particular about my BBQ. The sandwich buns were great and actually held up. The brisket was a bit dry for my taste but pulled pork was delicious. The fries were also probably best I’ve had in Columbus (unexpected surprise) and the Mac and cheese was yummy.

Best bbq I've ever had. Would give 5 stars, but they shorted my dessert on 3 separate occasions this month. I know I should check the bag, but I'm always in a hurry because I park my truck in a no parking area near Land Grant Brewery. No parking for big trucks 😪 lost out on $18 worth of desserts. 1 Carrot, 1 peach a 1 banana pudding. Wish someone would answer the phone?
