Planetarium
Located in Columbus, Ohio, the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) is a top science museum offering interactive exhibits, working labs, planetarium shows, and a variety of hands-on science exhibits covering themes like Oceans, Gadgets, and Energy. The museum also features a Little Kidspace for younger children and a permanent American Museum of Natural History Dinosaur Gallery. Visitors can enjoy dining at the on-site cafe and restaurant or shop at the gift shop.
There are many exhibits to explore. The dinosaur & shark exhibits were great to see, as they had life size models on display & it was very informative. The Ocean exhibit was fun because you can go into a real submarine & there is an interactive water room. One of the best things about the museum is how many hands on things there are to do. It's definitely a great place for all ages.

The visit was amazing! We visited for the Unofficial Galaxies event since we are huge Star Wars fans. The event was spectacular with a ton of really insane exhibits that were mostly fan made. We were absolutely thrilled to see all of the handmade items and pieces from the films. We recommend buying tickets in advance. Also the military discount here is only $2 but still worth it.
Brad Q — Google review
Coming from out of town, looking to kill some time, it did not disappoint!Cool science center. There were tons of day camp kids running wild, but that can be expected on a weekday morning in the summer. Very cool hands on stuff for kids. The natural history exhibits were cool, along with the Town of Progress exhibit. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Columbus area.
Noah S — Google review
Wow! Just a beautiful place to take the family. The exhibits are amazing. Every time we go the Dinosaur exhibit just keeps on expanding. Just truly an amazing place and I myself learn so much. Highly recommend going especially when they change out the featured exhibits.
Chris D — Google review
This place is so worth it. For only $30 bucks we got over 3 hours of fun and useful information about the world we live in. We visited the planetarium twice for two films that were incredible and at no extra charge. You definitely can make a whole days worth out of this museum. I also enjoyed that it’s not only child oriented but also includes stuff for adults to do. Also don’t forget to check out the shows they do during the day. We got to see rats play basketball! My one and only complaint about this place is I wish there were more cool shirts in the gift shop for adults! (All the cool ones are for the kids)
Finn H — Google review
I finally made it here after knowing about it for more than 20 years and it was totally worth it. I teared up a little when I first walked i to the dinosaur room. Seriously so amazing to see. And I was in awe of the beauty in the Poseidon room. I think that might have been my favorite. An incredible experience for sure. Absolutely worth a visit!
Sarah F — Google review
While I've been a member for several years, we just had our first visit with a child and it's a much better experience. While the Pixar exhibit was a little too advanced for our 10 month old, the rest of the museum was very fun for him. The kids play space on level 2 was amazing. Water tables, vehicle and market play spaces and foam padded play areas. It's a great indoor playground that is perfect in the winter time. Despite having been there several times before we just discovered the cafeteria. While the café by the ticket area is very nice it wasn't until after we got our snacks that we realized there is a fully fledged cafeteria. Kelly was very welcoming the food really hit the spot. Absolutely worth the family pass.
Justin Z — Google review
Absolutely legendary museum that continues to impress long after you leave your childhood years behind. So much to see, do, touch, and experience! Visited the old location as a child and remembered having a blast. This is a must visit place whether you are young or young at heart!

Museums
The Columbus Museum of Art offers a diverse range of attractions, including permanent and traveling art collections, an American cafe, and a gift shop. The museum also features kid-friendly activities like the Open Studio and thought-provoking exhibits such as Queer/Modern showcasing works by early 20th-century LGBTQ+ artists. Located on The Ohio State University's campus, visitors can explore The Wex, a creative lab and contemporary art gallery hosting innovative exhibitions like Meditation Ocean.
This is a really special place and I wish I’d had more time. The merger of the original building with new wings - so common in American museums - is really well done. The interior atrium and outside spaces are striking counterpoints to the galleries. I loved learning more about Ohioan artists. Didn’t get to try to cafe. Needed 3 hours, minimum. Glad for my 55 minutes!
Kate L — Google review
The Columbus Museum of Art is a nice spot to spend a relaxing afternoon, especially since admission is free on Sundays—which is a great bonus. There’s also free parking just across the street behind the building, which makes visiting super convenient. That said, I was slightly disappointed with the overall experience. While there were a few standout exhibits that really captured my attention, much of the artwork felt repetitive and lacked variety. I was hoping for a more diverse and engaging collection. Still, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area—especially on a Sunday when it won’t cost you anything.
Nomadic F — Google review
My friend and I had a wonderful time at the museum. Getting there was straightforward, we just happened to accidentally miss the entrance and go to the top. It's nicely laid out with a ton of space to explore! We finished one spot and thought we were nearly done, but there were 3 more sections left for us. I enjoyed the exhibits and learned a lot about Ohio history. The attendants were helpful and the map was straightforward. I do wish there was a better sign that upstairs is mostly empty. We thought we had more to explore and we were unfortunately unable to visit the gift shop because their wifi was gone. In all it's a fun experience that I recommend people check out if they have the time.

Beautiful building with so many awesome pieces of artwork. It has lovely garden and seating area with a restaurant serving some of the most delicious food I have ever had. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are able to fill you in on the artists. We loved the Columbus Art museum and will definitely come visit again in the future. We got to celebrate Margaret M. Walter wings 10 year anniversary, maybe we will make it a point to go back for the 20th.
Michelle G — Google review
The Columbus Museum of Art is a space that surprises and soothes at the same time. Each gallery feels like a conversation between color, form, and emotion — from the bold pop-art numbers to the soft folds of sculptural pink, every piece invites you to pause and reflect. One work declared, “You can’t hurt me, ’cause storms can’t hurt the sky,” — a line that lingered long after I left, reminding me how art can turn pain into peace. The museum’s bright glass installation rises like a celebration of imagination, while smaller works — a violin surrounded by currency, a figure wrapped in crochet and childhood memories — speak quietly about identity, value, and memory. After exploring, I stopped by the museum café for a delicious latte, the perfect way to sit, reflect, and watch the light pour through the windows. It’s the kind of place that fills you — not just visually, but spiritually. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit in Columbus for anyone who loves art, design, or just a good cup of coffee in a beautiful space.

I didn't visit the bulk of the museum (yet), but we saw the Capbell Quartet perform a Halloween show with the Candlelight Symphony concert series & had a great time. I definitely intend to come back for a regular visit to see the rest of the museum, but this concert space was intimate & nice, staff was very friendly & we were pleasantly surprised that parking for this event was free. The quartet were incredibly talented & very personable as well.
Floura H — Google review
A nice museum that isn’t too large to cover all in one visit. An array of work spanning different artistic periods. Mostly one of each of the artists you’d recognize (Hopper, Rockwell, the usual…) It wasn’t overly crowded either, which was nice. Enjoyed a specific exhibit: Ming Smith - August Moon, which was beautiful and a lovely nod to the words of August Wilson.
Jakob P — Google review
Very peaceful and overall design of the building is very beautiful. The A/C is set to a comfortable temperature as I glanced over the creations of master pieces created to take your mind to places where the eye can’t.

Aquarium
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a sprawling park located about 20 miles north of downtown, showcasing a wide variety of land and sea life. With over 10,000 animals from more than 500 species across six themed areas, visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences like the tide pool and Jack Hanna's Animal Encounters Village. The zoo also offers additional attractions such as the Wilds conservation center, Zoombezi Bay water park for summer fun, and an 18-hole Safari Golf Course.
This was the coolest zoo we've been to. The rides do cost extra but there's so much to do in the zoo that you don't need it. There's so many animals and each exhibit is meticulously planned to provide a nice space for the animal. The zoo flowed well and we really enjoyed the different sections so we knew what to expect for the animals. Great zoo and a great experience.
Rachel B — Google review
The zoo itself was great. Very enjoyable and I loved the amount of space the enclosures had for the animals. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is cuz the food is outrageous. $15 for a cheeseburger, $8 for a hotdogs. It cost us $90 just for food for a small party. Definitely pack your own lunch before your visit.
Laura M — Google review
What a great time going. The last time I was here was when I was a child and how it has grown and changed is incredible. Such a diverse choice of animals from different regions of the world. Great displays touching upon conservation, education, and the impact mankind has on wildlife. Many extras with gift shops, food choices, rides, etc. Highlights were the manatee and hyena displays.
Salt S — Google review
Our family had a great time! It was such a beautiful day to go. Not so hot, so I feel like the animals were a little more peppy. We got to see a baby elephant, a baby bear and baby monkeys. Over all a good experience!
Ashley B — Google review
Definitely get there in the morning because you’re going to need A LOT of time! The zoo is massive, we got there while there was still 2 hours to closing and barely saw 25% of it! We greatly enjoyed our time nonetheless! We went on a Friday and it wasn’t crowded, the zoo was very clean and we loved how large the enclosures were for the animals. Will definitely come back if we get the chance and spend all day there!
Lacie C — Google review
Fantastic zoo. Took our family, with kids agreed 6 to 10, 5 hours to see it all (watermark was closed for the season). Surprisingly quiet on a Fall Thursday morning which was great. They have many animals I have never seen in other zoos like wolves, wolverines, manatees, and bonobos. Attractions like feed the giraffes, VR, dinosaur ride, 4d theater are extra but a reasonable few dollars typically. If you are not a resident admission can be quite expensive. Worth it I think but you can also check the discount options on the Zoo website to ride COTA bus to the zoo and save a lot of money ($4 bus ride round-trip and $10 admission).
George B — Google review
Honestly this zoo wasn’t it for us. We’ve been to an array of zoos over the years and found this one just wasn’t what we had hoped for. While it was clean and the layout was simple we found that many animals were off exhibit and many sections of the zoo not accessible for different events . Our favorite part however was the polar bear exhibit. It was fantastic and the animals are truly spectacular. Our least favorite is paying for parking and general admission costs, we found it to be much higher than other zoos we’ve traveled too and found that since the lack of animals on display + cost had us uninterested in returning for another visit.
Heather J — Google review
This is my absolute favorite zoo so far. The wildlife is well taken care of. The aquarium is clean, beautiful, large, it's equally very amazing. The aquatic life is extremely happy. It seems all these animals have great space to be as close to real life as they can get in safety. I love Africa to see everything's so large. The restrooms are spotless. The employees are very kind and helpful. I can't say enough good about my experiences here. It's above in comparison to others I've been to in my surrounding areas. The gorillas have an amazing habitat as well as many other animals habitats there. I spend the night at a hotel so I can enjoy the entire zoo and take my time. I love the reptile building also. I can go on..

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a sprawling 88-acre destination featuring both indoor and outdoor art and nature exhibits, as well as lush greenhouses and beautifully landscaped grounds. The conservatory offers seasonal displays, short-term art exhibitions, and permanent indoor biomes showcasing over 400 plant species from around the globe. Notably, it houses the largest private botanical garden collection of glass works by renowned artist Dale Chihuly.
This is such a beautiful place. The gardens are beautiful. The Dale Chihuly artwork integrated throughout the conservatory area is such a treat. The Lego exhibit was fascinating. The train garden, 4 season exhibit and children's garden were interesting and fun too. The staff we interacted with were very kind. One of the best gardens I've ever been to.

What an amazing place! Came by on a warm and sunny day and were blown away by how gorgeous the grounds are. We saw staff working on stuff everywhere. As someone who has a hard time walking distances, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered an electrical scooter at no charge to help get around. The place is very large and clearly marked for what plants are where and also how to avoid staircases. Volunteers were very evident and were obviously happy to be there. Wonderful place to spend time.
Naor W — Google review
I had such a wonderful visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory! The different biomes were fascinating and made the experience both serene and educational. The bonsai exhibit was absolutely immaculate, and I was pleasantly surprised by how impressive the architecture itself was as part of the attraction. A beautiful place to spend the day and definitely worth a return trip!
Ryne T — Google review
What a beautiful place! We visited Columbus recently for a friends wedding & had time to kill before we went to the airport, so we stopped here. My boyfriend could give a rip about plants of any kind, but he humored me & we wandered around to see everything. I was in heaven! I’m a big plant lady & it was SO cool to see a lot of common houseplants grow naturally like that. If you love plants & get excited about that sorta thing like me this is a must visit! They also had a whole seasonal pumpkin/fall display set up outside to walk through which was pretty cool too. Definitely recommend!
Kate C — Google review
I felt the price was about $5 to high. However, we booked for 5:30 entry and it was still daylight and have to have the children home at a certain time so they didn’t get to see the cool stuff come to life til we left. I understand it’s a wedding venue as I got married there at Christmas time. So we missed out on seeing the Palm house. Not spooky at all. Great for kids of all ages. Just wish the prices were lower so even the kids that come from low income families could enjoy it too.
Leslie P — Google review
I haven't been to the Franklin Park Conservatory for over 40 years and my girlfriend has never been so what better way to spend our one year anniversary than to spend a day enjoying all the beautiful sights and smells😊. It was better than I remembered! I was even better at night seeing the place lit up for the Pumpkins Aglow event. I was very romantic and the smiles she had was priceless 😍
Isaac L — Google review
Attended the Cocktails at the Conservatory event Sept. 25. It was my first time visiting and the event gave me the experience of watching the amazingly well designed and maintained facility transition from day to night. It was magical. Highly recommend going at any time and check out what events they have lined up. I’m going back! They do glass blowing!

This was a great little excursion while in Columbus. The Flora is beautiful and the chihuli glass is incredible. It doesn’t take up your whole day to tour and I was happy with the amount to see.

Located in Easton Town Center, Columbus, LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a vibrant and entertaining family attraction spanning 30,000 square feet. With six Lego-themed attractions including Miniland, a 4D cinema, interactive rides like Kingdom Quest and Merlins Apprentice, and a Lego Factory Tour, there's plenty to keep both kids and adults entertained for 2-3 hours. The center also features a preschooler program and hosts special events.
We had a great time! I took “older kids” ages 12, 10, 8 and 6 and they all enjoyed the rides, movies, and other attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We met Sebastian and he was so kind, showed us some of the things he’s built and answered all our questions about his job/career as a Lego Master Model Builder. He really went above and beyond. Would highly recommend going to LEGOLAND at least once!
Jen B — Google review
If your kid is into Legos, they will like this experience. I took my 9 year old twins during a weekday afternoon while they were on spring break. We were there for 3 hours. It’s definitely more geared towards 4-8 year old age range. The Lego city was awesome! I loved seeing Columbus in Legos. The VR experience was extra and lasted 2 minutes but was my favorite. The Starbucks coffee shop was my second favorite as I could drink my well made vanilla latte while the kids played. My daughter liked the Merlin ride (combo of bike pedaling and merry go round) which are two of her favorite things combined. She rode it three times which was nice of the staff. My son got into building and racing / wrecking cars off the 2 small ramps. The activity book was not worth purchasing and seemed annoying to have around my kids necks. It’s a bit pricey for the experience: 2 kid rides, 2 minute VR & 15 minutes of 4D movie. As an adult I found it lame and I love Legos. I wanted to redesign the layout and concept. The kids loved it and we got to spend the afternoon together.
Nancy — Google review
We took our sons (7,and 5) and daughter (3) to a day at Legoland Discovery Center. We noticed that there wasn’t a lot written about the accessibility of the location, so I decided to write based on that. Our daughter 3, is wheelchair bound, so we were curious how the day together would be. Thankfully, the entire building is accessible, with ramps and elevators in locations where there are stairs present. There is also accessible parking on the 2nd floor of the parking garage that leads directly to an elevator taking you to the main entrance. The only challenge that may be faced is finding a place for changing your child if they no longer fit on a baby changing table. Our daughter still fits on a changing table, so this wasn’t an issue for us. In the women’s room there was a larger part of the bathroom where a small cot could be put for changing. There was also some spaces to sit and take a break or enjoy a snack. We enjoyed a Starbucks drink at the cafe while our little boys had so much fun! It is definitely geared toward 4-8 years old. The 2 rides have a height limit and children must be able to walk or hold their head up to ride. Overall, this was a great trip and we would definitely recommend it or go again!
Hannah O — Google review
We had such a blast! They have adult nights every so often. We even won a prize! The challenges weren’t too difficult either but I would have liked to just explore and experience it without scheduled activities.
Elizabeth F — Google review
I was reluctant to take my children/teen to Legoland Discovery Center for a few reasons but mostly because the tickets were $30 each so $120.00 just to get in....plus I knew my kids were going to ask to purchase Legos from the gift shop and only one of my children truly plays Legos on a regular basis. I was pleasantly surprised that we had such a great time! We did purchase Legos but they had a good selection of cheap ones, and the kids got to make their own lego character as their purchase ald they loved that. Everything is included in the entry fee except food/drink in the Cafe or one VR experience that my kids had no interest in doing. We watched both 4D movies and they were cute! The little kids loved the indoor playground....and everyone could ride the rides ( 2) as many times as they wanted to. We all built cars ( hard, many parts missing and hard to find) but fun. Overall it was a 4 star out of 5 experience....try to go on a. Non -busy day because it was definitely a plus that there was no waiting in line for rides or the movie or the playground. Parking is also super easy , just park in the garage and walk right into Legoland through the side garage entry door.
Nicki C — Google review
So cute. It is definitely cater to 9 and under but it was a really cool experience. The rides were super fun and the 4D shows.
Serena R — Google review
This place is an absolute blast. We spent 4 hours here with a 9 year old and a 4 year old. If it is your first visit, definitely get the activity pack. The VR experience can be added on once you’re already inside and exploring, so don’t worry about getting it with your ticket.
Cyndi F — Google review
Very cool experience. The 4D movie was very cute and funny. My 9 & 7 year old really enjoyed themselves.

The Ohio Statehouse, completed in 1861, is a grand Greek revival building that serves as the state Capitol and seat of governance for the Ohio state government. The structure underwent multiple design changes and was supervised by five architects before its completion. Influenced by Greek architecture, it exudes grandeur and tradition. Visitors are drawn to its historical art, including The Grand Stair Hall and the Rotunda.
I took a phenomenal tour with Larry. He was a very friendly tour guide open to many questions and was very knowledgeable. This capitol was amazing. The Rotunda was fantastic, along with the Chambers. I really enjoyed the addition and the connecting room. This capitol truly is fantastic. Well worth the visit.

Free guided hourly tours start in the Map Room (basement) — weekdays 10–3, weekends 12–3. Gift store opens at 10. Self or phone guided tours available during business hours. Cafeteria was closed. Beautiful 3-story architecture, museum where you can speak from the senators’ tribune.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Ohio Statehouse. The architecture is beautiful, and the museum exhibits give a great overview of the building’s design and history. There’s so much to learn about both the construction and the role the Statehouse has played over time. If you want to go through all the exhibits thoroughly, it can easily take a full day. A great place to explore if you enjoy history, architecture, or just want to experience an important landmark in Ohio.

This is the 23rd state/provincial capitol building we have visited and this is unique as it has been restored to its 1861 glory. Fairly limited in its decor but nice to see the simplicity. If in town, a nice quick stop.

The Ohio Statehouse is a real treasure and a must see. Beautiful example of Greek revival architecture that was lovingly restored years ago and is very well maintained. I’ve been in there literally hundreds of times and always see something I’ve never noticed. Wonderful historical building that offers tours: be sure to call ahead. Be sure to see the Rotunda, the House & Senate Chambers, and the museum and gift shop.

Outstanding guided tour of the Ohio Statehouse on Sunday 10/12/25. This tour is a must see if you are looking for a good activity when in Columbus, Ohio! You will not be disappointed. Our guide was former military and had an expert knowledge of Ohio history. Can’t think of a better way to spend taxpayer money.

“The Statehouse is built in the Greek Revival style, a type of design based on the buildings of ancient Greece and very popular in the U.S. during the early and mid 1800s. Because ancient Greece is the birthplace of democracy, the style had great meaning in the young American nation. Greek Revival was simple and straightforward and looked nothing at all like the Gothic Revival buildings popular in Europe at the same period. The broad horizontal mass of the building and the even and regular rows of columns resemble such buildings as the Parthenon in Athens. The Ohio Statehouse is a masonry building, consisting largely of Columbus limestone. The limestone was taken from a quarry on the west banks of the Scioto River. The stone of the Statehouse foundation is more than 18 feet deep. During the course of the Statehouse's construction, 22 years would pass, but it would not be a period of non-stop work. Construction would cease during the harsh winter months, and as the project would exceed its budget, there would often be halts in construction as new funding was arranged. The longest gap in construction came about when the legislation making Columbus the state capitol was due to expire. There was a eight-year lapse in the building of the Statehouse from 1840-1848. The completed basement and foundations were actually filled in with soil and Capitol Square was used as a pasture.”

A small but great downtown park with a big lawn in Columbus. Outside concerts and light shows are sometimes held here. There is also a large and pretty Christmas tree during Christmas time.

As a life long Columbus resident I remember city center mall. This park has given me many great memories. I love that it incorporates music, lights, food trucks, fitness and even movie nights. I have spent many nights with my wife enjoying a activity and looking up at the night sky while the city lights brighten up the night. I always recommend visitors to go and enjoy what Columbus Commons have to offer.

This is a wonderful area for our community. We look forward to going back. Didn't even get to check out the whole place. Really enjoyed their signature cocktail! The Commons Cocktail. I recommend it!

We came here on a Fri night and took some pictures/videos. This was when it was dead and not many people around. I wished they had food open to help draw in more people. We came back on Saturday night and it was packed. It was like the whole city came out. There was free hot chocolate, food, and small shops. Also, they turned on more lights, Santa Claus was there to take pictures with, and the carousel was on.

Olentangy Caverns, once inhabited by the Delaware tribe, offers seasonal tours led by guides through underground rooms and natural passages. The cave system was used by the Wyandotte Indians for shelter and escape from enemies. Visitors can learn about Indian cave room usage and view artifacts in the cavern museum. Located near Columbus Zoo, this family-friendly outdoor adventure park features cave tours, a petting zoo, miniature golf, gem mining, and more.
My first time going to an underground cavern experience. Definitely worth it if you’re planning to go to an even bigger cavern in Kentucky or West Virginia. Staff were informative and chill. The staff would ask for a fee to enter the cavern when they can provide a map of the caverns within. The Rock & Gem Souvenir Store had various minerals to explore. The cavern was extraordinary as you enter the basement and see how deep the cavern is. The place recommends you to handle the railings with both hands. Please do so before taking pictures, especially if the weather was edgy with rain recently and the ground becomes slippery. On the other hand, this park also has a playground, petting zoo, waterslide race for gems, a small hiking trail, and another gift shop. Definitely a good place for kids.

Went on a Saturday around 12, started to get pretty busy around 12:45-1:30. Which makes the cave/cavers very tight to walk through. While your down there your using a provided map to guide yourself around and match the corresponding areas ( Ex; A to A or 1-1 ) We went after it had just rained the night before, so everything was VERY wet. Wear waterproof/walking shoes if you plan on exploring. Be prepared to get dripped on by very cold water coming off nearby rocks, and the “ceiling”. Coming down the initial very steep stairs is a beautiful view of different levels of rocks decending into a tunnel/cave where the rest of the cavers are. Tons of puddles all over the ground from collected rain water and the “droplets”. Most the areas are about big enough for one person to walk through the tunnel areas at one time, and if your a larger person i DO NOT recommend going down there. Some areas are extremely tight and really only accessible to someone under 4’5 and around 100 pounds or less. (Im 5’4, 140 and some areas i almost got stuck cause it was too tight going through the rocks. It is neat to see though, i dont think id want to do it again as it is just wet rocks and the furthest tunnel was closed from the previous year that occurred from some heavy rain water. (The water collected, over time causing a collapse). So that was kind of a bummer but i get it for safety reasons. The gem mining was fun, definitely loaded with a lot of “gravel” type rocks so that was new for me, Ive only ever had ones with dirt/sand that yield rocks/gems/shark teeth. We found some really interesting gemstones in each tray. The petting zoo was great. I thought it wad Going to be boring and smelly, and i was happily wrong. The goats were adorable, when we came in a baby jumped through the fence and was following our group. And when we came inside the “pen” to pet them he ran back in it was very cute! The deer were a little skittish but very sweet and gentle. The treasure hunt/maze was VERY fun we enjoyed getting different prizes snd trading them within the group.

We just returned from an incredible visit to Olentangy Caverns in Delaware, OH, and we couldn’t wait to share our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities available for the whole family. Seriously, you could spend an entire day here and still want to come back for more! First off, let me give you a heads-up: the caverns tour is stunning but not handicap accessible due to the steep steps involved. That said, the cool air and beautiful formations inside are absolutely worth it! We took our time with a self-guided sheet that pointed out all the key spots—it really helped us appreciate the unique beauty of the cave. The lighting created such an uplifting atmosphere; we found ourselves completely immersed in the experience. After exploring the wonders of the caverns, we ventured into the maze! It was so much fun hunting for the vending machines scattered around. Each coin allowed us to unlock a prize from different vending machines—think arrowheads, ebony animals, and cute little vials of gems. There’s something magical about winning treasures like that! Next, we wandered along a nature trail, enjoying the serenity of the woods while discovering intricately carved wooden animals. Nature and art combined? Yes, please! 🦌✨ But the highlight of the day? The petting zoo! They provide you with a cup of feed, and we had the best time feeding goats and deer. Hannah was absolutely in her element, giggling and interacting with the animals—this was definitely her favorite part! We also squeezed in a round of mini-golf, where Hannah showcased her skills and totally kicked my butt! 😂 After that, she had a blast playing on the playground, complete with firetrucks, swings, and slides. Before wrapping up our adventure, we indulged in some gem mining. Hannah uncovered some fantastic gems! 💎 On our way out, we stopped by the gift shop to pick out a few gems to take home as keepsakes. A note for parents: the restrooms are impeccably clean, and there’s a lovely picnic area with bottled drinks, chips, and candy available for those looking for a snack. If you're searching for a day filled with fun, adventure, and memories, we highly recommend visiting Olentangy Caverns! Here’s to more family adventures! 🎉 1779 Home Rd, Delaware, OH 43015

Such a neat place with so much to do. The price for the ticket to do everything was less than $30 a person. Mini golf, a petting zoo (and you can feed the animals), a maze, paning for gemstones and the Cavern were all included. There was a fire truck you could go in. There were a playgrounds. The whole place was decorated for fall. Super cute! Of course we had to get stuff at the gift shop. We definitely recommend!
Kim R — Google review
I don’t have anything negative to say about this place—it was clean, the staff was friendly, and overall, it was a pleasant visit. That said, the cave itself felt a bit underwhelming, especially for the price. I’ve been to larger and more impressive caverns that offered more to see and explore. Still, I really enjoyed spending time here with my family, and the museum portion was a nice bonus. It just wasn’t my favorite cave experience, but it definitely wasn’t a bad one.
Haley T — Google review
It's a decent place, most of the staff were very friendly. We got there with just enough time to visit the gift shop, tour the caves and pan for gems, and visit the gem shop. The caves were great, but there were definitely some tight squeezes, but well lit. It was a nice place to stop and check out
Brenda B — Google review
This place is such a fun place to visit! There is something for everyone young and old. The caverns are very pretty and have recordings that will tell you the history, as well as information in the building above. The maze is super fun, petting and feeding the animals was a blast!

We went when they opened on Saturday. They had ample parking at that time we were able to get in with no weight. We recommend getting the bag of food. They’ve seemed to laugh a lot longer totally worth a couple bucks they cost so they can feed the goats in the deer. Also, they got fairly good prices on their pumpkins

Water & Amusement Parks
Zoombezi Bay is a thrilling water park located next to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, offering a perfect blend of refreshing water attractions and spooky, zombie-themed experiences. The park features a giant pool, raft slides, high-speed mat races, lazy rivers, and more. In addition to its water rides, Zoombezi Bay also boasts haunted houses and scare zones for horror enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy non-water rides like the Sea Dragon roller coaster as well.
I enjoyed my time there. Kid and adult friendly. Parking only $10 and they have all day rental lockers for an affordable rate. I do recommend wearing water shoes to avoid walking barefoot on high traffic wet areas. It is first come first serve for the tubes at the lazy river but still very enjoyable. They have a “fast pass” option which I thought was nice. Drinks were a little pricey, but they do hand out water cups to make sure everyone is staying hydrated. I thought the burger and fry meal was reasonably priced. You can also bring your own food, get stamped, go out to your car and eat, and come back at no fee. All and all I will definitely go again! Super easy to get to as well!

We had a great time. We got there when the park opened and rented a 21+ lounger space on the same day, but they do advise to book in advance online. For reserved padded lounge chairs in the semi private shade, access to the wait staff and a safe large enough to fit a large shoulder bag, we felt that the $100 fee was worth it. Since a large locker is $22 already. And since we also came in from out of town, the day use of towels included with the lounge rental were a nice bonus. The staff running the bar in that area were friendly and helpful. I would also advise to go to the left side of the parking lot when you arrive for close access to the Zoombezi entrance. If you follow the masses, you are going to end up on the zoo side with a considerable walk ahead of you. Take sunscreen. If this is the one thing you forget, the standard 6oz size spray is $30 on site. 30-40oz of heavily tequila laden margaritas is cheaper than 6oz of sunscreen here.

We went on weekend and it was super crowded. They have lots of fun things for kids and plenty of seating area. There’s no shade on rides. They have separate sheds for seating but you have to reserve them and they charge a lot for those “Cabanas”. It’s worth money if you’re someone who doesn’t mind going to overcrowded places.

Cashless isn't always convenient. Especially for a young person working and having cash they can't spend or having to purchase a card to purchase some over priced and mediocre food. Our pizza was overpriced and was terrible. Pool was shut down nobody knew why I don't know just filled on the organized

Cool place for kids. Def worth it to get the annual gold pass with free parking if you live close by and will visit often. Bring food and drinks, expensive and not that great inside.
Andrew F — Google review
It was a lot of fun. The best of all is that there were not many people and we could enjoy all the attractions without queuing.
Nathaly M — Google review
Going to this waterpark was an enjoyable experience. The waterslides were very enjoyable, and take a long time to become monotonous. The amount of time it takes to get into the park is almost never long, and the lines within the park itself are unlikely to get unbearably massive (relative to the experience of the installations). A problem with this place is the difficulty to have a pleasant experience when entering the park even an hour or two past opening. However, I would still recommend this place for anyone who wishes to have a fun time at a water park in the area.

Topiary Park, situated in the Discovery District of Downtown Columbus, is a unique and tranquil attraction for botany enthusiasts. It stands out as the only public park in the world featuring landscape plants meticulously trimmed to recreate Georges Seurat's famous post-impressionist painting 'A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.' The brainchild of sculptor James T.
Tucked away right behind the Columbus Metropolitan library and the prestigious school is this beautiful garden full of metal and shapes and a pond and picture us moments. I went for Wellness Wednesdays, which will be held throughout the summer and got an opportunity to bring in a beautiful day with great stretches and more Wednesdays to come with Soundbath and meditation.

As others have said, a cool little garden tucked away in downtown - nicely shaded on the hot summer day. Pay to park on the street for less than $1.00 for an hour. The link between the painting and the topiary is a nice approach. If you walk outside the park, some nice murals and sculptures as well. Can spend at least 30 minutes there.

This was my first time visiting the Topiary Park, and it is absolutely beautiful! The plants are shaped like humans and animals, which looks so cute and whimsical. There are so many of these creative topiaries that I couldn’t stop admiring them. The garden was peaceful and not very crowded, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed stroll. In addition to the topiaries, there are lots of beautiful flowering plants. You can even have a picnic lunch in the shade and spend a lovely amount of time soaking in the scenery. A delightful spot for nature and garden lovers!

One of my favorite places to bring visitors to in columbus. Park that not many seem to pay attention to but has a rich history and nearby establishments with rich history as well. I have visited north market to get some dinner when I was in Columbus. I went there twice actually. They have a variety of food options to consider including Jeni’s ice cream! I got some pizza and some ice cream during one visit and enjoyed the food! Specifically the ice cream! On my next visit, I got food from Hoyo’s and it was very tasty too! There is an eating area one floor above with lots of chairs and tables. It closes at 7 PM (when I went there in August), so I had to check the timing a little carefully. It was easily accessible from my hotel by walk.

The Ohio History Center is a must-visit for history enthusiasts of all ages. It offers interactive exhibits covering the state's history, including Ohio Village, an immersive re-creation of an 1860s town. Visitors can marvel at a mastodon skeleton and explore a hands-on Lustron house exhibit from the 1950s. The museum also showcases United States' involvement in World War I and features diverse collections, including preserved Civil War flags.

I visited on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon with my adult special needs group, looking forward to a peaceful and enriching experience. While walking through the grounds, one of my autistic participants politely approached a volunteer and asked for her name — this is his way of introducing himself, something we're actively encouraging to help him feel more confident engaging with the community. Unfortunately, the volunteer’s response was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. We are working hard to build bridges between the special needs community and the broader public, and encounters like this make that work much harder. At the end of our visit, I approached the same volunteer, again politely, to explain that he was simply trying to say hello — a moment of growth for him. Her response? Still rude, still cold. What shocked me even more is that she mentioned her own son has special needs — which, honestly, made her behavior even more disappointing. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but when you're representing a public space — especially as a volunteer — your energy and attitude matter. I strongly encourage the organization to offer coaching or sensitivity training for their volunteers. If you are going to welcome the public — including individuals with special needs — it’s essential that your team knows how to respond with empathy and respect. My participant was polite, respectful, and trying his best. He deserved better.

I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the displays and the knowledge of the staff and volunteers. I took the guided tour of the WWI exhibit and Alex was incredibly well versed on the evolution of artillery and how it impacted so many aspects of the war. Scott in the all steel house - yes you read correctly - the Lustron steel homes manufactured in Ohio. They have a full home on display and you can open drawers, touch walls. The interactive nature of many of the displays is simply a joy for children I’m sure but this forever kid loved it too! Front desk staff made my entry and exit very pleasurable with their attentive greetings and suggestions.

Nestled within the vibrant campus of The Ohio State University, the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum stands as a treasure trove for cartoon enthusiasts and art lovers alike. This remarkable institution boasts the largest collection of comic strip art globally, featuring an astounding 300,000 original cartoons alongside 2.5 million clippings from comic strips and newspapers. Visitors can delight in iconic works like 'Family Circus' and 'Peanuts,' evoking nostalgia for those who cherished Sunday morning comics.
The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum is relatively accessible. The entrance to the building has long ramps that are not too steep for those in a wheelchair or in general who cannot use the stairs. They have accessible entrances that can open automatically into the building however they lack it when entering the actual museum as well as the doors that lead to the restroom. There is an elevator that allows for access to the second floor where it is located as well. Within the actual museum I like that signing in is at a lower table with an opening to sit at like a desk as well as all the displays that are on stands are easily visible. Overall the museum is accessible, however, it could use some improvements to be fully accessible.

We thoroughly enjoyed the museum. Very well curated with so many details of cartoons history. Highly recommended if you like the topic. 🙌🏻 We loved learning about the different techniques used by the cartoonists!

I visited this location because it is located on campus and is free for everyone to access. Overall, the building is generally accessible for people with disabilities. When I arrived, I noticed a ramp leading to the entrance, clear signage, and accessible doors. There was also an elevator conveniently located near the entrance, with a sign pointing to it and buttons placed low for easy access. Inside the museum, the walkways were wide, and there were plenty of seating areas, making the space easy to navigate and comfortable. The wooden flooring was also smooth and accessible. I appreciated that the pictures and descriptions were placed lower on the wall, which makes them easier to view, though I did notice there was no Braille available. One downside was that parking near the building was limited, which could make access confusing for some visitors. The lighting inside was a bit dim, which may be challenging for people with low vision, but the quiet and calm environment could be helpful for individuals with sensory sensitivities. Overall, I would rate the accessibility a 4 out of 5. The location has many great accommodations, but there’s still room for improvement.

The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum is a really neat, free feature on OSU's campus. We stopped by on Friday and had a great time. There are parking garages on campus just a short walk from the museum building, and we paid $10.00 for event parking (probably due to the graduation weekend). The museum is on the 2nd floor, and had a few featured exhibits on display - 3 rooms total. While not huge, it's still really enjoyable to walk around and see what they have. Pictures were allowed in some spots. There was a fun variety of art, a lot that was very nostalgic! I think there's also a reference library people can check out, but by appointment. I would absolutely recommend people stop by the cartoon museum if they're in Columbus and have the opportunity.

Nice little free museum on the second floor of Sullivant Hall, right off high street. They have a lot of original Calvin and Hobbes artwork, in addition to revolving exhibits. Been here twice, back in 2017 and now in 2023, and it was a fun way to spend an hour or so both times. An absolute hidden gem on campus.

The Scioto Mile Fountain is a captivating water feature located in Columbus, Ohio. It is the focal point of the Bicentennial Park and Scioto Mile, which offers 253 acres of picturesque parkland and various attractions. The fountain spans 15,000 square feet and boasts over 1,000 spraying jets that propel water up to 75 feet into the air.
Great place for your little ones and family tiny trip. Couldn’t take picture of the fountain it self since it was filled with kids. The surroundings of the actual fountain is present. Clean and plenty of trash disposals around. Seats are spacious and bench/steps are present. Plenty of space even when crowded. The mists from the ring tower felt good with the hot sun and cool breeze

At the time I went, it looked more like a leaky faucet than a fountain. But it has potential. I can see how when the water is really running, this could be a fun spot for kids or couples.

Magic Mountain Fun Center - East is a year-round family entertainment destination located in Columbus, Ohio. It offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including mini-golf, go-karts, arcade games, batting cages, laser tag, and more. The center is popular for kids' birthday celebrations and also offers special pricing for families on specific days of the week.
We honestly had the most amazing experience for my daughters birthday party yesterday! Our birthday planner checked in with me every step and even helped with items I forgot! My daughter said it was the best birthday ever we had complete access to the kids area and all of the kids won lots of tokens! The staff was super friendly and helped when the machines didn't dispense tickets or tokens got eaten. We will always happily come back to magic mountain❤️ thank you for my little girl's day so special!
Anna W — Google review
Honestly, I'm quite disappointed in this place. It was expensive for being out of season ( no go karts, batting cages, or mini put put). 9$ per kid to ride the bumber cars for 1 time. The most disappointing thing is the arcade. Half of the machines dont work, and if they do, they eat your tokens or dont give you tickets. I think my kids had in total 300 tickets, and we had 200 tokens( I was playing to help get tickets). It was just sad, not worth the money, my kids' disappointment, or the drive. There are funner places in Columbus that cost the same price or less. We won't be returning my little boys feel the same way.
Kasie L — Google review
I am sure in its prime it was a fun place to go but it needs A LOT of updating! The arcade had a lot of broken games or games that had ran out of tickets. One of my son's favorite games ran out of tickets in the middle of the game. We told the worker at the desk and he just kind of shrugged. The tickets were not replaced the whole time we were there. When we went to cash out our tickets the counting machine was broken. We ended up counting them but the worker weighted them and told us we had way less than what we counted. Two of the three workers looked miserable and mostly shrugged at us when asking for things. The bathrooms were very dirty and two of the toilets wouldn’t flush. The bumper car area was tiny and had a broken down car sitting inside the area making it even smaller. The go karts seemed to work fine and my son enjoyed those. The putt putt area was also decent. It was a very hot day and the inside area was barely able to cool us down. Overall it wasn’t a great experience and we most likely will not be going back.
Chelsie W — Google review
First time going. Went with some friends to play putt-putt miniature golf. We went a bit late in the day after a dinner outing. Overall we had plenty of fun playing. Main complaint would be that the lighting could be better. We spent a bit of time trying to find one or more balls on the course at times. So did the group behind us. Some of the "greens" could use some care too, but nothing that ruined the fun. I'd go again, though probably in the daytime.
Squirrelly F — Google review
Pretty disappointing. Putt putt was the only thing open due to the weather and it was fun, but the course just needed to be cleaned. That was true for the whole place. What others have said about games being broken was true, more than half of them were broken or didn't give out tickets. We had a hard time even find games we could use our tokens on. Tried to use the bumper cars only to be told they didnt have enough staff. Weird because there was plenty of staff behind the counter staring at their phones. We told them games were broken and they just stared at us. Save your money and go someplace else
Mari S — Google review
I absolutely love this place! It’s great for people of all ages and has a wide variety of attractions and games. The golf course is spectacular and spotless! I have been coming here every week for years now and the staff is always very friendly, accommodating and you can always see them cleaning when they’re not busy! If I ever need anything they seem happy to help. I would give it 6 stars if I could!!!
Caroline T — Google review
First time ever coming here, and let me be the first to say a HUGE thank you to all of the staff here! They were very helpful with providing alternatives to the attractions since my wife is pregnant and therefore can't do the go karts or bumper cars, they were incredibly nice and helpful with any issue we had with games not functioning ( out of order, eating tokens, and running out of tickets). We had an amazing experience, and highly recommend a trip here! The days with low crowds ensure that the staff are going to be most helpful and not overwhelmed (as we all can be) and when they had a chance to make our experience more enjoyable, they did more than we asked or expected. I could go on for several more hours of how well this day went, but as a dad of 2 little dudes I will honestly say we will make the hour and a half drive down just for the customer service and relations we got today!
Caden P — Google review
Used to go to the Polaris location as a kid, but that closed back in 2020 in hopes of becoming a Carvana. Not it’s just a hole. Anyway… This place needs a lot of TLC. It’s prime I’m sure it was great. The place is dusty, and almost half of the arcade machines were not working, or having issues. The go karts need work too. Especially #5. I got rear ended really hard by it while waiting to renter the pit. I got minor whiplash. I drove the kart earlier in the day and the breaks were not working well. Almost not at all. I told the staff, but they kept it running. Aside from that, the staff at the counter were surprisingly friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. I’m glad to see that. Would I come back? Maybe, but this place needs a lot of work and I believe if that was done it would be great.

Nestled just south of the Ohio Statehouse, the stunning Ohio Theatre is a true gem of Spanish-Baroque architecture that has captivated audiences since its grand opening in 1928. Originally designed as a movie palace and variety show venue, this majestic theater features an impressive 21-foot chandelier and intricate details that transport visitors to another era.
My daughter and I had the pleasure of seeing Hamilton at the Ohio Theatre a few days ago—and it was absolutely spectacular! The theatre itself is beautifully maintained and comfortably climate-controlled, with plush seating that made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the Ohio Theatre is a fantastic venue for Broadway productions—we couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

This magnificent building is a wonderful historic venue to watch the CAPA Summer Movie Series, now in its 56th year. The Mighty Morton Organ, almost 100 years in operation here, is a joy to hear.
Brian S — Google review
Beautiful theater and perfect location. The original charm has been well maintained and the sights are breathtaking. Ample paid parking nearby with reasonable rates. I had a little turn around trying to pick up tickets from will call and it was a very busy crowd so it was hard to navigate, but it was the final show of Hamilton so it was to be expected. There are quite a few employees stationed around to help direct you and every person I interacted with was kind. The show was very good. One small thing I did notice though was the distribution of sound..... many times throughout the show, the volume of the music overpowered the lyricists and given that Hamilton packs so much info into the lyrics, it was a bit frustrating not being able to hear precisely. Again, that may be attributed to the performance and not the theater or sound engineer, but worth noting nonetheless. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!

Got to see Hamilton yesterday! It was amazing!!! The theatre is absolutely stunning. Kinda wish they did the side seats a little differently because you miss portions of the stage but overall the theatre is absolutely breathtaking.

Ohio Theater is a beautiful theater. The architecture and interior is so amazing. I was there to see the play Hamilton which I enjoyed. It was a perfect venue for this incredible musical play.
Angela G — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous. I know this is not the way to review a "show" but getting to see The Cursed Child in such a magical place only added to the experience. Beautifully maintained. Modernized in tech without ruining the atmosphere. You could spend days admiring details and exploring passages even outside of seeing a show... now if I had one complaint, and it has to be said in support of the rest of my tall brethren, these are the most painfully uncomfortable seats I've ever experienced. The nose bleeds at blue jackets stadium are not this bad. The biggest distractions of the night were myself and those around me consult shifting and wincing in pain.

Inniswood Metro Gardens is a serene 122-acre nature preserve and botanical garden located just 15 minutes away from downtown Columbus. It offers a peaceful escape with formal gardens, lawns, and a variety of flora and fauna. The garden features over 2,000 plant species and friendly woodland wildlife. While it can get crowded on weekends, visiting on a quieter weekday allows for a more tranquil experience.
We stopped through this park on the way back from a trip to northern Ohio. The park had such a peaceful and clean atmosphere, and there’s plenty to see along the trails. We didn’t get a chance to walk through the woods, however the main circle offered plenty of beautiful sights and scenery. There were flower gardens all over, and beautiful landscaping. Would recommend as a great place for a peaceful afternoon walk.
Gideon L — Google review
For my lazy Sunday outing I chose to take a trek to Inniswood for the first time. It did not disappoint at all. The park is meticulously maintained and is one of the finer metro parks I’ve been to in the Columbus area. There’s multiple short trails to choose from that are approximately 0.6 mi or less. Most of which are ADA compliant. The waterfalls are small but perfect as they create a pleasant sound backdrop to the experience. Many folks there today had their cameras to shoot, which didn’t surprise me one bit. The plants and flowers are fantastically colorful and selected to support a bountiful host of our pollinator friends 🐝🦋. Personally bees scare me, but that’s another story for another time. On the way out (that I missed going in) was a sign about tick safety. Personally this is important as I dealt with Lyme Disease for over a decade (which was a costly hell I don’t wish upon my worst enemy). Over 50% of people don’t recall a tick bite and some can be as small as a pinhead (baby nymphs). I’d love to have taken the trails with the overhead trees, however not having a hat or long sleeves on, with higher tick rates this year, I’m a bit too afraid, which sucks because everything looked pretty and peaceful. If you’ve not been, bring your camera and check out Inniswood for a delightful afternoon adventure.

Super fun! My son loved all the tunnels and hidden nooks. He thought the janitors closet was to scary because we aren't supposed to be on there!! Lmao everything was great! Money making idea... set up photo scans with wristbands and let it randomly collect photos of people. The shock and awe people could be more interested than the generic stand and smile.

There was a fire alarm during our gaming time so we had to exit the building and never went back in, but we had fun anyway! Definitely worth the money. I suggest going late when no kids are around. One of the coolest and most unique spots I've ever been to. Took the whole family and nobody had anything negative to say. We went at an earlier time so it was pretty dead, I believe that made it easier for us to really get to explore and interact with everything. We spent a solid 2 and a half hours, and that was just to go through it all and to finish one of the puzzles. Plenty more to do if you also add the arcade in, which unfortunately we didn't. Great time though and we will be back. I recommend this place to any and everyone.

German restaurant
Schmidt’s Sausage Haus Restaurant is a historic German eatery located in a livery stable, offering an unpretentious atmosphere and live oompah music. Established in 1886 as a meatpacking business, it has retained traces of German-American culture. Situated in the revitalized German Village, this long-running establishment provides a unique culinary experience with its large selection of dishes and awesome service.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at Schmidt's Sausage Haus, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! I tried the turkey Reuben, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The side of potato pancakes was phenomenal; they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, truly a must-try! The beer selection was impressive, and I opted for a German light that complemented my meal beautifully. To top off my visit, I took a cream puff to go, which was a delightful treat! What really stood out was the fantastic interaction with the staff and fellow guests. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I can't wait to return for another round of those amazing dishes! Highly recommend!

The best pretzel and cheese sauce, delicious. Pretzel flavor and texture so amazing. The sampler was a great way to experience many sausage options. The environment is clean and very engaging. Memorable art and stories are found here. I know people love the cream puff but mine was not good. The dough had too much of a used oil flavor and the cream was not good (vanilla). Also visit the fudge haus next door and get some chocolate.

Awesome classic German fare. Complete with an accordion two piece band and old brick roads out front. Throwback to the immigrants who came here almost 150 years ago. Friendly staff. The potato soup is thick and creamy. Stuffed cabbage, sauerbraten, and cream puff were perfect.

What a great experience. This was my family's first time. The place was packed when we walked in but we were seated promptly. The service was great and the food came out remarkably fast. The potato soup was delicious. We ordered the pretzel appetizer which came with cheese and mustard. My husband ordered the sausage sampler which was great. I got the reuben with potato pancakes. And lastly the desserts were great. Fresh and delicious. The neighborhood was cute and there were 2 shops afterwards to visit.

The buffet is back! Schmidt’s bratwurst, German potato salad (warm) and German chocolate cake is good any day of the week and anytime of time of the day. Love the warm and casual space. Columbus, OH hosts a great German restaurant known for their sausages, schnitzel, and cream puffs. The staff is awesome. They help each other out to keep the service flowing. They are friendly and happy to explain the menu and options. The food is delicious and the beer offerings complement it perfectly. It is busy and popular so expect a wait during rush hour unless there is a spot at the bar. The vibe is family friendly. Lederhosen clad servers, polka music, and German themed decorations. The cream puffs are massive. Residential parking is available if the lot is full.
Nathan G — Google review
The atmosphere was lively and the place was full with many people waiting in line. The service was friendly and fast. I don’t eat pork so I did not have their famous sausages as even the beef ones have pork mixed with the beef. The server suggested two no pork dishes and I went with the breaded veal with mushroom burgundy gravy, and sides of red cabbage and potato pancakes with applesauce . I had a non alcoholic beer with the meal and for dessert their famous jumbo cream puff (vanilla). The only thing I really enjoyed was the beer ! I didn’t like the texture or the taste of the pastry shell and so I only ate the cream filling. The main dish was okay but not delicious. I guess I could not have what people come to this place for because of my dietary restrictions so it was not really the place for me.
Wafa R — Google review
Delicious and authentic German food with imported Bavarian beer options. The evening crowd was loud and boisterous (further authenticity 😂) but still had private feeling places with small booths and a bar area to one side. The artwork was interesting and added further charm to this historic building. The server was friendly and helpful and was prompt despite the full house.

My kids and I had a great time at the fair during a week day! There were so many things to see and do. The food options were endless and there was something for everyone. The skylift was good to rest your legs from the walking. My only con was the lack of places to refill your water bottle.

I love the fair! Last week my niece showed lambs and this weekend my nephew showed pigs. The best Swiss cheese on a stick is near the brown sheep barn and across from Bricker building. It is almost fall, but the Columbus Park of Roses is still in glorious bloom! Roses as far as the eye can see! I found a couple that smelled heavenly. I took many pictures of individual roses and buds that were just perfect! You can see some below. Funny thing is the park was not even on the itinerary, but we had about an hour to spare, so we thought, let’s go see the rose garden! What an excellent decision! I highly recommend this little excursion.

Such a beautiful & tranquil place to relax. Took these photos back in May, so thats the perfect time to see all the flowers in bloom. Enjoyed strolling around and looking at all the unique flowers. While visiting I saw many artists who were there painting & drawing, people were walking their dogs and taking photos with their familes. Its a very nice and accessible park. Great for solo walks to immerse yourself in or to enjoy with friends or family.

Well maintained park with large variety of roses. The roses were all in bloom when we went in June. Luckily it was a sunny day and made it even more enjoyable. Plenty of parking and no entrance fee. Lots of benches to sit in to admire the beauty of this park.

The Park of Roses in full bloom is a breathtaking sight rows upon rows of vibrant flowers create a colorful, fragrant escape. Beyond the gardens, there’s plenty to enjoy: peaceful walking trails, picnic spots, playgrounds, and open fields perfect for games or relaxation. Whether you’re strolling among the roses, taking photos, or joining seasonal events, it’s a wonderful place to spend a day outdoors with family and friends.

Truly a special park. I consider it to be naturally divided into 3 beautiful sections, the park of roses (it's namesake) is a gorgeous area with every kind of rose imaginable. Truly a spectacle to behold. Then you have the playground/ open field/ sports section that also has a lovely pond that they're currently redoing so there is construction there at the moment. Lastly, my favorite part, is the wildlife area. A wooded area with a watershed/ creek and foot paths that is a safe haven for well behaved dogs off leash. That same segment has a rehabilitated wildflower prairie section that has paths mowed into it. And it all flows together sitting right next to the Olentangy river. Hidden right in the middle of the City of Columbus. It doesn't get much better.
Korey C — Google review
The Cincinnati butterfly park was nice. This park is just as cared for and maintained. Roses of more varieties than I could ever hope to learn, all arranged and labeled. If an Excel spreadsheet ran a garden it would look like this. I believe the other gardens are a part of the Park. Though not roses, the other plants with their labels helped me recognize a lot of the plants I've been seeing in the Metro Parks.
Palin S — Google review
It is a relaxing place to wander about if you like to get your steps in, even better if you like plants. There were other types of plants apart from roses such as herbs, coneflowers, hibiscus, etc. Even the trees were named. If you get tired, there are plenty of benches or gazebos you can rest in. Would recommend!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is a chain known for its creative flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt made from local ingredients. The original location at North Market in Columbus offers unique flavors like Brambleberry Crisp and Goat Cheese with Red Cherries. Jeni's uses whole ingredients and dairy from grass-fed cows, setting their artisan ice cream apart. With ten locations in Columbus, it's a must-visit for anyone exploring the city's culinary scene.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in the Short North is a must-stop for anyone craving unique and delicious ice cream. What really stood out during my visit was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the sampling process a joy. They offered generous samples, answered questions with enthusiasm, and provided thoughtful recommendations. Their patience and genuine warmth created a welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to navigate all the flavors. While Jeni's is known for its ice cream, the positive and attentive service from the staff truly elevated the experience.

I tried two scoops - Root Beer Float and Brambleberry Crisp - at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Since I am allergic to eggs, I asked the staff about ingredients, and they were very clear about which flavors had eggs and which did not. They also had great sorbet options for vegans. I appreciated being able to sample flavors before choosing. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful, even with a big crowd waiting. Both flavors were tasty, but I was especially impressed with the Root Beer Float - it really tasted like the drink! The shop is busy, but worth the wait. I would definitely come back.

Local ice cream place with a great many super interesting flavors. While you are likely to find a line, it is worth it. I had the burnt orange - so delicious! Also yummy was the brown butter almond brittle and the gooey butter cake. Heck, all the flavors we tried were DELICIOUS!! Go today! Go again! Yum!!!

First time in Columbus, OH and I was advised to stop by Jeni's for ice cream. This was the best suggestion. This place had great customer service and a variety of ice cream to pick from. Jeni's even lets you sample every ice cream they have with no pressure to buy any. If you're near a Jeni's ice cream, definitely stop by and grab some

Staff were friendly and welcoming! I have been a long time Jeni’s fan and getting to go in person was fantastic. Loved all the specialty combos on the menu!

So many choices for ice cream. Very nice delicious flavors. Staff seemed extremely knowledgeable about the descriptions of each flavor. I was disappointed that they only offered ice cream cones and bowls. No other type of desserts like shakes exedra. There is a bathroom there you can use. We were very pleased that they had free tap water available in the dining room. That was super helpful since we had been walking around outside in the heat for 3 hours downtown. As expected, the prices were extremely high.

One thing about me is if I’m in a state that has a Jeni’s, I will make it a point to stop by. It’s a must. I always get my almond brittle butter ice cream and it never disappoints. The flavor is rich and creamy, with that sweet and slightly nutty crunch that makes it unforgettable. And their waffle cone? Absolute perfection! It’s crisp, buttery, and the perfect match for their ice cream. I’ve loved Jeni’s for years, and every visit reminds me why. The quality is always consistent, the flavors are creative and bold, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Whether it’s a quick treat on a hot day or a little indulgence after dinner, Jeni’s always hits the spot. This is one of those places I’ll keep coming back to, no matter where I am.
Ellen B — Google review
Unique flavors that somehow just work! We had had pints of Jeni’s from the grocery store but were thrilled for the opportunity to try ice cream from the scoop shop itself and we were not disappointed! We shared the ice cream flight which comes with 10 scoops of 10 different flavors and waffle cone pieces on the side. Each flavor was unique and offered something different. My favorite was the “everything bagel” which was a savory ice cream and very different from anything I’d had before. My wife’s favorite was the honey vanilla bean. All the ice creams were soft, creamy and not overly sweet. Some of the best ice cream we’ve had! Hope to see them open a shop in Kansas City someday!

The mall boasts over 200 stores and restaurants including popular brands like Apple, Lululemon, H&M, and Macy's.
Always a great experience here. I’m a bit partial to Easton. But Polaris offers all of the same shops and the surrounding area is great. I also have family here so it’s a nice stop in the middle of the day. I also love the movie theater near by.

Polaris is the only good indoor mall in Columbus. It’s a great place to beat the weather and shop comfortably. It’s well maintained and is fully occupied with a diversity of stores and restaurants. There’s a cool play area for kids and a small food court. The only negative that I noticed is the oddly located and small bathroom facilities.

Decent indoor shopping mall with major retailers like Macy’s, JCPenney, Saks, Apple, Dick’s Sports, and others. There is a volleyball training place (?) as well. Stopped here to escape the city for a little bit - a good decision! A lovely building with several rooms and seats to relax and watch birds from. We went to the river viewing platform and had fun watching turtles fight for space on the logs to sun themselves. Also saw hairy woodpecker, grey heron, ducks, robins, a snake (on the river) etc. A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature (though the roar of the highways is always in the background... :-)

I came to this location for the first time for a going away party and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and atmosphere in Downtown Columbus, OH! I actually worked at the 111 N. 4th Street, building for Ameritech and I was so glad to see that this surprisingly spacious location existed! It was clean, well organized, when we got ready for Duckpin Bowling! The shortened lanes were an unexpected added bonus! My friends and I had the best time! This is a location that I would choose to go to again and again. Mishele, the bartender/mixologist, helped me craft an amazing drink, but more importantly, her customer service made my evening! I was looking at the drink menu and it was awesome, especially for Beer enthusiasts, but I had my taste buds set on certain ingredients, but I didn’t know how to create a cocktail out of it. She patiently answered and asked questions to arrive at a pleasantly surprising Cocktail, that gave me a better than expected experience! I have been to the other Columbus locations, but I love this set up and I will definitely be returning with friends in tow.

One patio with adult swings and outside activities such as giant Jenga. All the stuff was very friendly. The drinks were delicious. Expensive but what is it. Truly can't wait to get back again. They do not have food but they do allow outside food. And provides food trucks most weekends

Visited for the Columbus BookFest. I believe this is the third year, though my first time attending. The weather was super hot on Saturday and Sunday, though it also rained on Saturday. The library was awesome, as were the topiary grounds. Very picturesque. There were numerous booths selling books and other merchandise. Many food trucks as well. There were also a LOT of authors, which is the reason for coming. Our primary objective this trip was to meet Matt Dinniman (Dungen Crawler Carl series) who was VERY popular at this event. I'd be willing to bet he was THE MAIN attraction based on crowds, long lines. Though he wasn't meant to sign all day Sunday, he made himself available to do just that, ensuring anyone who wanted to, could have their book signed. Such a great stand-up guy! He went the extra mile and signed while walking around the event too.. which is when my daughter got her books and such signed. Check out the series if you haven't already! The audiobooks are AWESOME. Overall, a very successful event, and worth the trip.

Some visitors noted that the facility could be cleaner and that outside food is not allowed but snacks and drinks for kids are permitted.
I absolutely love Momi Land! We’ve been multiple times but this time was different because of a staff member there by the name of Maddie. She is such a wonderful person. She did her BEST at making sure we had the best experience, she was definitely doing her job and staying on top of things. Making sure the sitting area was nice and clean, putting the balls back in the ball pit, and picking things up and putting them back in their original places. You can tell she truly enjoys her job and loves working in an environment with children. Thank you Maddie for giving us the best experience possible, and for being such an amazing soul.

We had a great time! A lot of kids running around smiling 🙂 I’m sure it’s because they were busy, but the bathroom needed a little TLC. We had fun and will be back to visit soon. The trampolines were perfectly sized the age group. And the slides were awesome!

I typically love this place but lately the cleanliness has gone downhill. Todays visit really shocked me & i may start to go to a different location. For starters when i parked the police were blocking the doors which had me concerned, however i waited & went inside. After about an hour i took my two year old to the bathroom & what i seen disgusted me. It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeeeks! Mind you there were only about 5 kids there the whole two hours we were there. Staff didn’t move from front chairs. This is unacceptable when you are trying to change your child’s diaper. I would rather sit out front on the sidewalk & change it!

First red flag was the clutter of boxes thrown in a room as soon as you walk in… Very dirty and unkept with A LOT of safety issues. Exposed metal with zip ties on equipment…Really? This location is filthy. Really should invest in this location. Bathroom is unsanitary! Have not seen any staff wiping down anything. I will not be returning to this location.
Malayka M — Google review
First experience - wouldn’t rave about it by any means. Signs are written weird outside in regards to cash payments. The cashier then said “you’re not the first person who couldn’t read it right.” If no cash is allowed - why not just simply state that? Instead of “cash payments not able for all services”. The play area seemed decently clean, but I never once saw the one and only employee cleaning or doing anything other than sitting on her phone. I hate that parents aren’t able to help their small children on the equipment. I don’t quite understand that, and never would I want some strange person going to get my child if they were stuck and scared. My toddler got nervous at one of the sides, i went up a few stairs and guided him. The employee comes around a minute after I’ve already gotten to the ground and rudely says “WHAT HAPPENED?!?” I said “Nothing? My son was scared.. so I helped him down.” She told me not to do it again and she would help next time. I can understand rules and get that they don’t want parents rough housing and potentially damaging the play structure - but let’s be real. This is a kids establishment and I am not letting a stranger touch or grab my child when they are worried and looking for their parents. A parent walked out of the bathroom & said how disgusting it was - that was enough for me to change my child in the car. Lastly - police were outside of the door 20 minutes after I arrived. Not sure why, but made me uncomfortable. All in all - it’s an okay place, but customer service is not good and the bathrooms are gross.
Courtney N — Google review
This place was great for my 14-month old! We came early on a weekday and it wasn’t busy at first (though it did start filling up by the time we left). It was nice that it was designed specifically for little kids - it felt safe and she was able to do a lot on her own. I also appreciated that other parents/adults were very hands-on watching their kids, so kids weren’t running wild or anything.

Visit the Anthony-Thomas Candy Shoppes in Columbus for a fascinating tour of their candy factory. Learn about the process of making chocolate and the history of this family-owned business. Book your tour online and be amazed by their large buckeye, weighing 235 lbs. The store offers a wide variety of chocolates to choose from, making it a great experience for all ages. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity for an inexpensive and fun tour!
Definitely worth a visit! They offer tours every hour, that last about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was very informative and we really enjoyed seeing the processes. They were making & packing Snickers Christmas trees when we toured. I never gave thought to how those were made, but now I have a full understanding. You can’t take pictures on the manufacturing floor for obvious reasons, but that was ok. Pricing is $4/adult & $2/kids, which is very reasonable. You also get $2 back for each ticket, when purchasing in the gift shop. It wasn’t crowded when we went on a Monday morning around 11am. We picked up some yummy chocolate and gained some knowledge! Win win!

I took the kids through the Factory Tour. It is an incredibly cheap option as a quick trip, only $2 for kids and $4 for adults. It took about an hour to walk through the factory. It was super cool to see how the chocolate is made. They even gave us samples at the end and vouchers for money off any candy we wanted to purchase after the tour. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable as well.

Fantastic place for the family! Growing up in Columbus, I, of course was familiar with Anthony Thomas, but never went to the factory until now, many, many years later. Went with my family over winter vacation. Took a guided tour which was very inexpensive and very informative. Plus, if you buy something in the gift shop on the way out, you essentially make the price of the tour back, which was $1 for kids and $2 for adults, since they give you a coupon for that on your way out. We got information about the history of not only the company, but of chocolate making, as well. Plus we got to see how Anthony Thomas chocolates are made, as well as contracted chocolates they do for Big Brand chocolate companies, as well. And at the end, a sweet treat for everyone! Definitely worth the trip and glad that we made reservations to do this. Mary, our guide, was incredible.

We had my son’s third birthday party at We Rock the Spectrum, and it was perfect for his age group and all family and friends that attended. The party room was set up when we arrived, we had the entire space to ourselves, and the facility was immaculately clean and organized. Every child at the party enjoyed themselves, and they were all able to play safely despite being of different ages. I’d highly recommend having a party at this location!

I have been brining my cousin here for about 3 years now and I am absolutely pleased with the rotating swing options, the multi age sensory play equipment, and the overall environment. They have amazing payment options like pay-for-the-day, 5/10 visit passes, and even a monthly pass. The only thing that may put a damper on things is that the passes do expire after a year. So if you pay for 10 passes and only use 7, then you’re out of money. Overall, I love this establishment!

We had a few hours to do something in between appointments and this was the perfect thing on a ninety degree day! Lots to do and play. It was a fun two hours!

My 2 year old loves this place. She can easily stay and play for hours. We have been coming here for a year now. Apparently it’s under new ownership now but we didn’t have any problems before. Make sure you call ahead because sometimes they have parties and close the doors for everyone else. I love that they have a room with tables so your Littles can pause and have a snack/lunch then continue their play. There’s a big trampoline, a play kitchen area with dress up. Lots and lots of Melissa and Doug toys which are my absolute favorite. There’s a chalk board, a little kids table where they can sit and color, zip line which I don’t think my daughter can use til maybe she’s 3 without any adult help. And they have a variety of swings in the middle back of the building that can be used for a variety of ages. Just be careful as some kids will swing and not pay attention and knock your kid down 🤣 Make sure to bring socks for your little ones and for yourself or they are available for purchase there.

All hands-on activities. My son was free to run around and use the play pieces he wanted. There is a craft area, a play area, and a separate room where you can have snacks and such. It's a bit of a drive for us, but definitely worth it. If we lived closer l, I would definitely purchase a membership. It was perfect for running off energy.

This place is amazing! It is one of the most interactive sensory friendly places i’ve seen. The front desk worker was not kind, patient, or understanding. I wish they would provide better training for people working at places like this even if they are just front desk staff. Overall good experience otherwise!!

My children and I love this play place! Sometimes it can get busy, but the majority of the time we come here, it isn't that crowded. There is lots to do; from trampolines, a mini zip line, swings, dress up, rock wall climbing, coloring, chalk wall, and even more! It has always been clean and neatly organized. I love that there are complimentary diapers and wipes in the bathroom if needed. The people working here have always been really nice and always keep the place in order. There is a massage chair for the guardians, too! (My husband's favorite 😆) I love that they now have the "snack room" open, the handful of times we have come before it was not open. They also have snacks you can purchase, as well as toys for sale. You need socks to play, this goes for parents too. Definitely give a try if you have not been here!

ZipZone Outdoor Adventures in Columbus, Ohio is a must-visit for thrill-seekers and families alike. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including canopy-top zip lines, ropes courses, and a kids park. With over 60 challenging elements spread across the parklands, visitors can enjoy an adrenaline-pumping experience. The guided multi-zipline tour takes you through the stunning Ohio treetops for an unforgettable adventure.
We went for the first time and loved it! The staff were all wonderful! Very knowledgeable and it was obvious safety was of their utmost concern. We did the adventure park with 3 girls ages 8, 10, and 11. We didn’t realize how easy it was to split up so the older kids and one adult went on one course and the younger and one adult went another and then we could meet up after each course. It was definitely a challenge for us adults (who aren’t as in shape as we could be) while the lightweight kids just breezed through a lot. Now we all really want to do the zipline tour. Highly recommend!

Today was such a fun experience when zip lining and our amazing guides Reece and sam made the the experience 100 time better. They did such an amazing job helping us through the course and I am so glad that they were our guides. Thank you for a time to remember.

What a hidden gem!!! I normally have trouble finding nice places to go when we have visitors, or when we want to celebrate a special date like Father's day. ZipZone is for sure going into my list of "it" places. Open, clean, safe, fun. They have a small course for kids up to 7 years, and 7+ can go with the adults into a higher rope course. Love it! We are already planning our son's birthday party next year here!

The guides here are amazing and extremely personable. They work extraordinary well with kiddos. The tour 8s a short 2 hr ordeal with 5 zips. Is a good beginners course.

Omg, this place was awesome! We came all the way from New Mexico for vacation with 3 teenage boys to do both the adventure park and the zip line. Trying to find things that will keep boys entertained and wear them out is a challenge, but this place did just that! They loved it! We all loved it! If you're afraid of heights put your big girl/ boy pants on because all you've got is a wireline keeping you from hitting the ground. You're gonna need a little bit of muscle too. I admit I don't have much muscle but I made it through the 2nd to hardest course, with a whole lot of courage. My boys made it through all of them and in the end, they were out for the count! Im so happy I found this place, it was worth every cent, the staff were super friendly and funny as well. It just sucks there's nothing like this were I live.

Came up here to visit family and hotwheels monster trucks was in the area and we thought why not! Glad we did! Had a great time I want to got to a bigger monster truck show at some point now. It was one of the cars birthday the day we went. The arena was nice and clean. The staff was helpful and prices were not terrible.

Visited here for the Matt Rife comedy show. Everything was amazing! Restrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. I really liked that for this show they had special cocktails for purchase. Unsure if it is a "Nationwide Arena thing" or a "Matt Rife thing".. but loved it. I've been to tons of arenas and I've never seen anything besides the basic white claw, beer, etc. All the people working the show were helpful + kind. I REALLY enjoyed connecting with the young lady at the staircase heading to the floor section. She was such a bright light and a joy to connect too. All in all --> I'd recommend this arena and will be booking future shows + concerts here.

My wife and I saw Reneé Rapp on her Bite Me tour here. The venue was easy to find and easy to enter. We used a nearby parking garage and bought our space beforehand. We had a couple minute walk to the main entrance. If you have no bags, you can walk right in. Then you go through the security scanners. We got on the escalator and went up to the main level. There were many friendly employees everywhere who answered our questions as we’ve never been to this venue. There were multiple food options available, along with alcohol at the same restaurant or in a separate place. We saw a few different merch lines and decided to get in line prior to the show. Once we were finished with that, we headed to our seats. We had 7th row seats on the floor, behind the pit areas. It was a wonderful venue! We were able to hear and see everything with no problems. There were average sized folding chairs, which we expected as we stood for all of the performance.

About the only thing that could get me to come hangout deep in enemy territory is Wu Tang. Run the Jewels and a *surprise showing of Dave Chappelle helped too. As such I was here for their final tour. It's sad this will be the 1st and last(?) time I'll ever see them all at once. The show was awesome though, they did all the songs. Not much in the way of special effects, but the sound was excellent. I had floor seats and didn't have issues seeing the stage from where I was. I didn't have any interactions with security, but let's just say they were not allowing any 'passing of bones'. Getting through security and navigating to my seat was painless. I didn't use the restrooms or concessions so can't speak on that. I was able to pregame at a bar nearby and then walk to things afterwards for food and drinks.
Malcolm E — Google review
Arena is very beautiful safe and huge but parking is so expensive and a nightmare to find. Also the upper row of seating specifically sections in the 200's is very dangerous. Very narrow aisles to get to seats and the way the seats are angled is very steep Honestly pretty terrifying. We were in section 205 and could see the stage great but everyone was packed so close. We didn't stay for the whole show due to uncomfortable seating. Food and drink prices are what you would expect from an event of this size.
Amber — Google review
Very nice venue, but a bit underwhelming compared to other big city arenas. Huge shout out to the fact that I was able to buy a beer and a bag of peanuts for less than $10. That’s a first.

We drove 2 hours from KY to Nationwide to see Benson Boone last night and we were so excited! However, our seats were the 2nd from the top and I did not realize when I bought them how high it was since the tickets were selling fast. I didnt have time to research the arena. The seats feel very steep and it was even pretty scary for myself, but was hoping to acclimate. Sadly, we had to leave our seats because my daughter had a panic attack. I asked the usher if we could by chance pay more for any closer seats and we were told to go to guest services. They were so kind in helping us and I just want to say thank you to them for still allowing us to have a good experience after I thought for sure we wouldn't get to watch one of our favorite performers! I really appreciate it and won't forget it! Some side notes-lots of parking nearby you can pre pay for which is nice. Felt safe walking to and from the arena from the garages. Also, remember to use the right size bag. The Lululemon bags are the perfect size!

A nice stadium with fairly overpriced concessions. I did enjoy the game but paying $12 for a single beer and $4 for a single hot dog is ridiculous for a minor league baseball stadium. If it wasn't for the free jersey giveaway, then I don't know if I would have gone to the game. In any case, not a terrible experience.

A pretty good ballpark for a game. I got a seat in the bleachers which was a mistake. The sun was setting and it was impossible to see anything for the first four innings. I ended up leaving my seat and going to the standing section and watched the game from there. Once I did that it was a much more enjoyable experience. There were counters to lean on and set your drinks and food which was nice. The second thing that wasn't great was the dime a dog night promotion. I understand that im paying 10 cents for a hot dog, but they just were not good. I only got 3 as I didn't want to waste anything, but I barely ate 2 of them. And to see the amount of hot dogs that people were getting, and then wasting was disappointing. I got my hot dogs when the gates first opened, but the lines were crazy and people had to have missed several innings waiting in those lines. Dispite all of that, I enjoyed the game but will pick somewhere else to sit the next time I come to a game here.

09/15/2024 - Second time visiting Huntington Park with family and friends for the Columbus Clippers last home game versus the Saint Paul Saints. The Clippers 5 and the Saints 2. Let’s Go, Clippers! 09/08/2024 - First time visiting Huntington Park with family and friends to watch the Clippers and the Bulls bat it out. It was the first time that I went to a sporting event and the usher wiped down my seat. Thank you. The park seats about 10000 guests. There are a few bars, a few places to eat, a picnic area, and some pedestrians get to watch from the exterior of the field. Sadly we lost to the Durham Bulls (15-5). Great weather, cool crowd, nice and clean park. Nearby parking for a fee, and free street parking on Sundays. Prices contingent on the season and seats. Accessible to everyone including guests with medical devices. Enjoy.

It's a great place to watch a ball game. I don't think there is a bad spot, no matter where your seat is located. They have a lot of entertainment going on, like the hot dog races and build a human hamburger and giveaways like t-shirts being tossed into the seats. They have a nice gift shop which is an easy walk around the park .parking is only a 10 min walk or closer cost around $6, which isn't bad these days.

Highbanks Metro Park is a popular destination within the Metro Parks System, offering stunning natural features and diverse hiking trails. The park is named for its impressive 100-foot tall sandstone bluffs that provide breathtaking views of the Olentangy State Scenic River. Visitors can explore 11 miles of trails, including the challenging Coyote Run and Overlook trails, which wind through forests, meadows, and shale ravines.
What a wonderful surprise! This Metro Park may have jumped to #1 on my list! The welcome center is first class. The walking paths among the trees are spectacular! The water and high banks make one feel as if they are in a mountain top high! It is not far off of 270. Bring your walking stick, hiking shoes (or tennis shoes) and prepare for a treat! The welcome center is user friendly for children. There are floor to ceiling glass windows where one can watch a wide variety of birds come to the feeding area. I recorded the sounds of 3 or 4 birds I had not recorded at any other place. I even saw a Summer Tananger! Parking is easy to find. Access is easy. Bring lunch to share as you sit at the many picnic tables. A treat indeed!

It’s an absolutely gorgeous, huge park! If you get the chance, ask a park ranger for a Metro Parks Passport — you can use it to explore other Columbus parks, collect stamps along the way, and even trade them in for a free commemorative T-shirt.

Had very nice 2 mile hike at first parking lot to right after entrance on unimproved path. Saw a deer. Keep dog on leash. One of the few unpaved trails where dogs on leash are allowed. Had resting benches along the way. Had dog water station at beginning with poop bags available. Please pick up after your dog!!

The Ohio Railway Museum is a long-running museum dedicated to railroad history and offers streetcar & passenger car rides. It's one of the oldest railway museums in America, and features exhibits on electric traction and steam. The museum is operated entirely by volunteers and has holiday events for the kids.
I’ve loved going here since I was a child and I now bring mine here every few years or so. It would be amazing if they had more money but they do well with what they have. It’s nice to see they’ve opened a lot more stuff up in the last couple of years. The trolley appears to run on the half hour fyi. Its fun and Id recommend it. Get there on the hour, check things out for a half hour, take the ride, then look at whatever you missed or you want to see again. I believe you can use the same ticket to get multiple rides in a day but not sure there is quite enough to do there to be able to really wait through the hour between trolley rides multiple times.
Aaron B — Google review
What a great little museum! One of the oldest rail museums in the US, they have a great collection of Ohio transportation history. The trolley ride was great, and all the staff was able to answer any questions we had about the equipment. You are able to walk through a bunch of the cars and the trains, along with the displays inside the museum. A great afternoon for the young and young at heart.

A must see if in Worthington or Columbus area. It doesn't take long to explore. Enjoyed the short trolley ride. $10 admission for adults but worth it knowing what the money is being used for. They are looking for volunteers to help with restoration efforts. If I lived closer, this would be an amazing opportunity to be apart of something special with a significant history.
Hope A — Google review
Such a cute train museum! While the trolley was down when we visited, we got to ride on the Speeder instead. This museum has so many upcoming improvements made - well worth buying a ticket or donating to make their dreams possible! They have so much history on their property worth preserving. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you're local to the Columbus area!
Eithne M — Google review
A very special place where history abounds. The volunteer staff is very knowledgeable about the different trains and cars on the property. The fact that you can walk around at your own pace and go inside of the different trains makes it really unique. The trolley ride is a lot of fun too! You can do it as many times as you want, it runs every half hour. Highly recommend a visit, even if you aren't a train enthusiast.
Jurgis G — Google review
It may not be the biggest or most extensive heritage railroad/museum out there, but the equipment shown off is fascinating, the tram ride was fun, even if a little short, and the staff were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the locomotives and rolling stock. If I lived close enough I'd absolutely volunteer, and if you live within an hour of Worthington Ohio, you should too!
Logan C — Google review
A hidden gem of Columbus especially if you know a train lover or have kids. The ride on the train is worth the cost because the volunteers are entertaining & made the ride so fun. Walking through the old trains is like walking through history. The staff is very knowledgeable & friendly. There are holiday events to look into as well. Admission is free but train ride costs money. Cute gifts in the shop too.
JM M — Google review
Small but alot of fun! Hidden gem for sure. My son loves trains so thought this would be a great low cost day activity. Went a little before close time but still had a blast. Small, interior museum and gift shop. The real attraction is outside. Slide open the station doors and go right onto the tracks! There's a variety of train cars you can walk through and tour and each car had a volunteer ready to tell its story. The post office car even had a small train set for young kids to play with, which we went back to after our self guided tour to relax until closing. Another car has a snack stand where you can buy drinks, snacks, candy, and even souvenir cups. When we went, the trolley car wasn't running (a ride on the trolley usually comes free with entry ticket purchase) so we got a free ride on the little yellow track service car(usually only 3$ extra). Where it was open, we couldn't go over the bridge, but got to see all the original buildings and hear the interesting facts about their use. They have plans to restore the buildings in the coming yrs and extend the tours. Staff was super friendly and informative. Will definitely be returning to ride the trolley and after restorations. Ended up not being a cheap trip just cuz my kids wanted snacks and souvenirs lol highly recommend if you're looking for a low cost fun family activity in the area!

I took my 2 grandsons (5 and 10) on Saturday 12/28. We went right at opening time because there are fewer kids and less older children in the morning. The monitors were all great. The girl covering the ball pit was very attentive and directed my boys on the right way to do things. The Wipeout area attendee was good too. While they were all attentive they really need to smile more and be friendlier. We also had great experiences at the climbing area where they wear harnesses and the ropes and zipline areas. We were there for 3 or 4 hours before it started to feel crowded. It seems expensive when you are paying for it but there is no time limit so it really isn't bad. The eating areas and the bathrooms were cleaner than I expected them to be with all the kids. The boys had a blast and didn't want to leave even after that length of time.

We attended a birthday party for my cousin the weekend of the 15th. It was a MADHOUSE and let me tell you the staff was well trained and kept complete calm and professionalism. My daughter had so much fun even with the crowd of children. She dealt personally with staff as she got stuck (not strong enough) on the zip rider as well as her small panic during the sky obstacle course. We had a party room and I think that was my only complaint. It had a foot smell which 100% expected due to the shoes and small space. We asked for the door to remain open to help and the staff was more than happy to help assist. My cousin hosted and the staff helped her so we could all enjoy time with our children and the birthday boy. And staff set up and tore down (big bonus for busy parents) 110% will come back. We even got little gift certificates as party favors for free admission, buy one get one free pizza, and merch!
Kimberly W — Google review
Had my son’s 3rd birthday here. The only complaint I have was that there was no regulation with the big kids. Teenagers were RUNNING down the walkways and workers didn’t do anything to stop them trampling the little kids. My 3 year old and some of the guests at the party complained their kids were shoved/pushed in the walkways by teenagers. Aside from that my child had fun with his cousins and our host was super nice. Probably wouldn’t have another party here for my little one but would consider for my oldest if they were able to regulate the teenagers.

My granddaughter is a Platinum member and simply loves it. Being a member has more bang to your buck. Pay monthly go as many times as you like plus free slice of pizza and a snack every time.
SUSIE C — Google review
The facilities are good, but the staff running the business are in need of retraining. To begin, we waited 23 minutes to check in for a birthday party. At some point, children began fighting while we were there and the children were allowed to come in and out of the business screaming profanities throughout. Staff stood by and watched instead of seeking to remove the families who caused the disturbance. We will not be returning to this location.

We attended with our 3.5 and 1.5 yr olds the show was cute however I encourage the actors to speak during the show. I completely understand the concept behind not speaking but when interacting with children of this age group they didn't really know what to do without words. I'd give it a 5 star if they spoke to the children my son asked the entire time why they didn't talk. But cute show

Their summer camp is well meaning but disorganized. They invited parents to the 20 min end of the week performance and started it 15 min early.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Extremely welcoming to children with special needs. We went to see Rapunzel, it was shortened to keep the kiddos attention span and was such a cute play! They had activities in the lobby for kids to take breaks and even had a tv so they didn't miss the play. We will definitely be coming back for Mary Poppins, thanks for the wonderful afternoon!

We took our grand daughters to see "West Side Story" today and really enjoyed the performance. Our only objection was to the graphic portrayal of Anita's assault by the Jets. I think this could have been modified due to the fact this is Children's Theater. Anita being harassed would have been enough.

We have always enjoyed going back to Urban Air in Plain City the manager are there is an awesome man and does an outstanding job running the business. We try to go out there as much as we can my son really enjoys this place. We have not yet tried to rent the Birthday Party but we do go out for a day and just enjoy ourselves. If you haven’t already visited this place with the kiddos you should definitely check it out.

An Unforgettable Experience at Urban Air Dublin! This weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting TK and Malachi at the YMCA. They gave me tickets for my summer camp. We were able to visit Urban Air Trampoline Park in Dublin, Ohio—and it was truly a life-changing experience for many of them. Our camp focuses on social and emotional learning, and our campers come from diverse backgrounds, with more than half being part of the Somali community. For most of them, this was their very first time visiting Urban Air, and their joy was truly heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Malachi, the manager, was incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive. She streamlined the check-in process for all 30 of our students—quickly handling waivers, wristbands, and socks with a level of professionalism and care that did not go unnoticed. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They even allowed us to order four pizzas and four pitchers of drinks, which are typically reserved for birthday parties—an incredibly generous gesture that made the outing even more special. As one of our third-grade campers put it, “This field trip was unforgettable and life changing.” Thank you to the entire Urban Air Dublin team for your hospitality, kindness, and commitment to creating lasting memories for our students. We are beyond grateful—and this definitely won’t be our last visit!

This place is provides a lot fun for kids and their parents. As a grandparent I sat and watched the kids jumping and playing and having fun. There are a couple of things that I saw that concerned me regarding potential injuries, but no blood, no foul for the most part. As long as you obey the rules, your kids should not get injured. My 3 year old grandson had a great time on New Years Day.

my kids, 7 and 9, went to the Dublin park a couple of weeks ago. The staff was so amazingly accommodating. We were given such great treatment. One of the staff was playing dodge ball with the kids and when my son told him it was the funnest part of his day we were given 2 tickets to come back! so so kind! Another staff member, I believe management, gave us 2 slices of pizza because I confused the menu and thought we were getting them. Such a great time and great staff!! They really express care for the kids, not just a job. Thank you for the exciting experience for my kids!

My step daughter's family had her birthday party here and they rented the large party room. The space was nice and the pizza was delicious. It was a bit pricey though for what you got, the pizza delivery fee for the pizza being brought to the party room was insane. I'd definitely make sure you get an itemized summary and look it over. The zip line was shut down 30 min before her scheduled party time was over, I'm not sure why but it opened 15 min later.
Adrean J — Google review
Be aware, this place works way different than is advertised on the website and reviews. PROS: big playground, a lot of shared spaces, clean and fairly safe. CONS: They have an awful lack of organization, your host is not 100% supporting you, not "welcome protocol" except for "checking-in", plus they are understaffed. (4 or 6 adults + 8 or 10 teenagers, for 100+ customers) We arrived before the appointment time as suggested to make room preparations, they make us wait additional 15+ min after the appointment time. Got the Deluxe Package contracted, which includes separate room + dedicated host, is today's day I don't remember our host name(again no introduction, no "welcome " protocol). Need to be "pushy" with the staff, otherwise they take their sweet time to make things happen, instead of being a step ahead of the game. "Bright side" was an additional pizza, as compensation, for providing package pizzas delayed. When closing the bill, on time of course!, they bring the tablet to you expecting a real "tip" for the services provided, like if they really work hard for or like if it was a Customer obligation. Taking positive learning, we got our lesson to what place not to come back.

The Escape Game Columbus at Easton Town Center offers an exciting group activity where teams of up to 8 people work together to solve a mystery and complete their mission within 60 minutes. Participants have described it as a thrilling experience, perfect for adults looking for a fun challenge. The rooms are challenging and enjoyable, with friendly and helpful staff members who go the extra mile to make special occasions memorable.
Was very fun. The whole setup was a good time. The games are very interactive. Puzzles were a little hard on the level nine room, but if it was too easy, it wouldn't have been fun.

My friends and I have done every single room at this place! The staff is always so friendly and kind. The rooms are well-made with great storylines and fun challenges! We’ve had a variety of gms and they have all been wonderful at not only providing small hints to us when we needed them and being attentive to what was going on at all times(we needed a door to be opened because not all of our players could crawl through a small tunnel in one of the rooms and our wonderful gm Jules came over the speaker to help us get it open). Wonderful experience for parties, nights out, or if you’re just looking for something to do!!

We had such a great time there that we went back two more times!! Had some small issues during two games but those were fixed right away and didn't take much away from the game play. Our game hosts were wonderful and funny. Definitely will visit again when we are in town to finish the last few rooms. We did prison break, the market and the heist. The market was our favorite with the heist being our least, but that could also be because it was our last one so we were a bit tired.

It was great! It kept all of us challenged the whole time. Definitely a great exercise in teamwork and communication! Mal was such an excellent guide and challenged us and then helped us when we needed it! Such a fun time!

My experience with this location did not start off good due to a mishap in the address provided to me in the email for parking they sent me. Due to this mishap we had to change room themes and wait 3 hours for another game; However, the front desk attendant Abbie and staff went above and beyond to correct their mistake. They even snuck in some birthday prompts and gifts for my daughter at then end! It’s one thing to have a great experience from start to finish; but they took accountability and we still enjoyed every moment of it! We did specials ops and it was a wonderful game with twist and turns to the plot! This was our first one and we got out with 33 seconds to spare! Thank you escape room team for your response to our frustration with excellent customer service and still making sure my daughter and family had the great time we were expecting despite the mishaps! It’s hard to find this type of integrity in places! Thank you!!! 5 stars hands down!

My husband and I have done almost all of their escape rooms, and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time. The staff is wonderful and each room is unique and immersive. Shout out to the staff that have been our game masters/worked with us: Ali, John, Brandon, and Margaret! They also gave us a cute, hand drawn card when we told them we were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary!

Absolutely Incredible Escape Room Experience! We had an amazing time at this escape room — easily one of the best we've ever done! The puzzles were clever, immersive, and just the right level of challenging. The room design and attention to detail made it feel like we were actually part of a movie or adventure. But what really took the whole experience to the next level was Jules. From the moment we arrived, Jules was welcoming, energetic, and clearly passionate about what she does. She gave the perfect balance of hints — just enough to keep us moving without giving too much away. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure every group has a fantastic time. Highly recommend this place, and if you can, request Jules. She’s a total rockstar! We’ll definitely be coming back for another room soon! 🔐✨

Rockin' Jump The Ultimate Trampoline Park offers an exciting experience for kids and parents alike. With locations in Westerville and Dublin, the park features a variety of attractions spread across 29,000+ square feet. Kids can enjoy bouncing on trampolines, competing in dodgeball or Vertical Ops areas, or trying out the Slam Dunk Zone.
We’ve had so many birthday parties here over the years, and today’s was the best! Everyone is always nice, but today everyone was also very helpful and attentive. We had a great check in experience, and the kids loved jumping. We got a private dodge ball game, and the attendant was so good - set up the game, made sure to keep other kids out, and helped keep “score”. Usually, our party host is there for the pizza and that’s it. Emily was amazing! She helped me as we were getting the room set up, kept checking on me, made sure the pizzas were on time, and helped serve. It made things so much more smooth. We will be back! Totally worth the price.

The staff was great setting up the kids on everything. Especially the gal that was working on the rock wall! She was the best of the three employees that we worked directly with and the host at the front that took our money. The kids loved it; a solid 2 hour exercise session and the kids are sleeping peacefully.

Visiting this place today with my niece and nephew who are 6&8. They had a lot of fun. They liked it was open. It was a bummer some of attractions were not available to use (zip line, Wipeout, and the rockwall) we paid for thr all day access pass to get these and they weren't available, so kinda a bummer. The special socks are extra if you don't own a pair from this place already. I ordered online before we went and signed the waiver online. It was very user friendly. It made checking in quick and easy. Because school was back in session, it was not crowded at all. They offer a variety of concessions, in true concession fashion, food is not cheap. They have tables to sit down and eat. They offer birthday parties and packages. They had memberships. They did have lockers you can rent $3 rental fee. They did have free wifi. Overall it was a success for one final adventure before school started.

The monthly membership is well worth it! Even in the summer time, getting out of the heat, but keeping active is so helpful. Food at the cafe isn’t bad. Pizza is delicious! Jackson at the cafe is super helpful and polite! Staff actually watch your kiddos and make sure everyone is playing fair/nice/safe!

I always have a great experience at GetAir Trampoline Park thanks to the manager, Rick. He has been wonderful with my kids and consistently provides excellent customer service. Truly an outstanding manager who makes a big difference!

We hadn't visited Rockin Jump in a while, as we typically go to Urban Air. Yesterday, we met friends at the Dublin location. When our friends were rung up first, they mentioned paying $10 for an all-day pass. However, when it was our turn, I was charged the hourly rate instead. I immediately returned to the cashier to address the discrepancy, explaining that I should have received the same all-day pass rate. The cashier said they couldn't help due to a "no refund policy." I clarified that this wasn't a refund request – they had simply overcharged me. At this point, another staff member overheard and approached with an extremely rude tone, pointing to a "no refunds" sign. Despite my repeated explanations that this was an overcharge, not a refund situation, they called over a manager who only provided a corporate email address. I followed up via email, but it only reached the local site. They acknowledged they couldn't process a refund but offered to escalate to their district manager. While they offered free passes as compensation, I declined due to the unprofessional treatment, particularly from the rude staff member. The issue isn't the $30 – it's the principle. Businesses should own their mistakes and treat customers with respect. The poor customer service and staff attitude ensure we won't return. With many birthdays to plan and connections in the area, we'll be sharing this experience with others and taking our business elsewhere.

I would like to caution you before booking your kids/family party at Rockin’ Jump. Their fees can be quite misleading. My grandson recently had a party at the Dublin location. They booked and prepaid the package deal of roughly $329.00 (for 15 kids). During the event a few more kids arrived than expected. They were prepared to pay a little more for this. However, when parents were asked if they wanted to jump, no one informed them they too would have to pay another $20.00/adult (and most of them didn’t even jump, just wanted to be in the jumping area). None of this was not communicated in advance. My son/daughter in law, did request additional party time, which my in-laws gladly paid separately themselves. However, in addition to the extra time, each jumper was charged another $5/person, for the extra time (not communicated in advance). So, when the final bill came, Rockin' Jump charged them another $400.00. So, a $329.00 party turned into a $729.00, yet there was no discussion in advance that all of these charges were occurring. When they called to ask about this (and state how absurd this is), the employee at the Dublin location, agreed as well (that was absurd). To challenge the bill (when you call the location), the only way to communicate to the Manager/Owner is via e-mail. There is no live phone # to him/her, nor will they transfer the call to anyone more senior. So they did inquire further about this via e-mail, and Rockin’ Jump’s response was to simply substantiate their charge (with the break-down). We tried to request that some consideration be given (perhaps meet in the middle of the $400.00 incremental charge), and they completely stopped responding (even after it was stated they would post this incident). In reading other reviews, this has apparently happened before to other guests. Also note, Rockin’ Jump is not registered on the BBB. Bottom-line, I’d be very leery about booking an event at Rockin’ Jump. If you still do want to take this risk, I’d get all the incremental charges up front.

Cool place. My daughter had a great time. I’d recommend for kids 6 and up. Lots of games and a great variety of ninja style obstacles. Climbing wall also. Posted a pic with pricing. Much preferred to a standard Urban Air type trampoline park due to variety, cleanliness and staff. Staff here clearly care and are amazing. Set up so you don’t have to watch your kid every minute.

Was told about the groupon for this place at 30ish dollars a kid for a month and we had to try it with our 6 and 7 year old. Looks really cool walking in but as we started to check it out more, there was less and less stuff the kids could do. They had a spinny thing kids can play in however it was broken. The basketball hoops looked fun but one of the 2 was broken. Alot of the obstacles were set up for adults and way too tall for kids. My kids did really enjoy the trampoline area and the dodgeball area. The climbing area was pretty cool as well. Overall it was an alright time that burned some of my kids energy and for 30$ for the month not too bad. Compared to big air, my kids have way more options and more fun though. It was nice to try something new though. Thanks guys!

This place was so perfect for my kids. They really have something for all ages. Staff was very friendly and helpful for our first visit. My oldest is only 8, so as expected, there was stuff that was too big for him. That's one thing I like.... We can continue to go here year after year and they will grow into new challenges. We were there over winter break and it was very busy, but there's plenty to do and plenty of room for everyone.

Found this place on Groupon so we went. Different ninja courses for different skill sets. Trampoline basketball, trampoline dodgeball area, regular trampoline area, small arcade, parkour area, climbing walls, warp walls, seating everywhere. Kids loved it here and it wore them out a little bit which is my daily goal 😆definitely recommend 👍🏼

We took a 7 year old and 17 year old. They both had a great time. There are obstacles for all ages and skills. The prices were very reasonable. You have to wear their socks, but they were only $3 & you can bring them back and use them the next time you come. Water and Gatorade were available in the machines for $2. I figured it would be more. Take extra money. There's a mini arcade that gives tickets. A few of the games did not work, but the young man working was super nice and reimbursed us. Both young men working were very nice. We also got a Groupon deal and had no issue using it.

DO NOT MOVE HERE – Ongoing Health Hazard and No Transparency I’m writing this review out of deep concern for a family I know who is suffering serious health consequences due to toxic mold exposure in their unit at this complex. They’ve experienced physical symptoms and medical issues due to the property’s failure to properly remediate the mold or provide full transparency. Despite requests, the complex has refused to share test results with the tenants—even though the mold is actively harming their health without signing a robust NDA. This poor family is left living in a dangerous environment with no accountability from management because they would rather protect their profits than protect people. This isn’t a minor issue—it’s impacting their children, their well-being, and their ability to live safely in their own home. It’s heartbreaking to see this situation unfold, especially knowing it could have been addressed with integrity and care from the beginning. If you value your health and safety, look elsewhere. And if you’re already living here and experiencing strange health issues, demand mold testing immediately. You may be in the same position and not even know it yet.

My mother lived here for almost 6 months while sick with stage 4 lung cancer. She entered the hospital in December 2024 and sadly passed in January. While in the grieving process, our family dealt with other major life events that made it difficult to clear her apartment out and it was just a place that was hard to be in. However, we remained in contact with management throughout that process. When my brother and I went there to gather her things, much to our shock and horror, we discovered several of her brand new appliances, caste iron kitchen set, several of her shoes/nicer clothes were gone. There were even things put back in those places to make it appear as if it was still "neat". We contacted management immediately, as well as local law enforcement, and we received apologies and insurance that this would be handled appropriately. These items were things my mom bought knowing she would never use them but wanted to spend money on things she always dreamed about being able to afford, just so she could see her hard work and determination in material form. These were 1,000s of dollars worth items. We found out that a maintenance worker had gone in, the door was locked, and stole her things. Once confronted by management, he quit and the police could not do anything since he claimed he did not know. Management then relayed to use they were not going to do anything and we needed to go through renters insurance, the problem there being that we did not have the receipts or documentation for the value of her things since she had passed and she never kept paper receipts for the items she wanted her two kids to use. We were told tough luck and move on. These people have zero compassion, just care about making money. These people will have zero remorse for grieving families, so be sure to bolt the door shut so maintenance works do not steal things and cause your family heartache.

This park is a fun place to visit! There is enough street parking. The bridge has a great design and even has coloured lights in the evening. The Scioto river flows under it and I saw a lot of people Kayaking there. Both sides of the bridge have fun restaurants. The evening vibe is great, restaurants having live music, people walking their dogs, people on dates.. A great place to spend an evening!

Ages ago my husband and I took introductory flight lessons here, but today I was back with my 2 year old grandson to watch planes. The observation deck is amazing. It's indoors, so temperature and weather are not a factor for watching. He had a great time watching the planes, fuel trucks, and airport fire truck. There are panels of Cesna and Piper airplane pictures and descriptions to identify what we were seeing. Even the radio conversations are piped in. We will be back!

American Whistle Corporation, located in Columbus, Ohio, is the sole manufacturer of metal whistles in the United States. Established in 1956, this company takes pride in producing high-quality solid brass whistles designed to last a lifetime. Visitors can enjoy a free guided tour of the factory to learn about the whistle-making process and even leave with their very own shiny new whistle as a souvenir. The tour provides insight into the materials used and how each component comes together to create these essential safety devices.
In town for work. Had some free time and was looking for something to do. Never would have guessed that the only metal whistle factory in the US was here. The factory was smaller then I thought for how many whistle they make a year. $10 for the tour. You do need to check the website and get tickets in advance. Super kid friendly tour. The guy giving to tours was did a great job. For three bucks they let you make your own custom whistle. If you’re in the area and looking to do something different and unique you should definitely stop in.

Had no idea that the only metal whistles made in the USA were made right here in Columbus. Great tour guide and you get a free plastic whistle with the tour. For a small upcharge you can also make your own colorful whistle. Worth going to see
Terri N — Google review
We were very excited to tour the factory and the guy that led the tour was very good and entertaining. Everything was good until the end after the kids made their own whistles. What do kids do when they get a whistle? They blow it and were having fun until the guy checking people out at the cash register screamed at them to stop. Very rude and unprofessional! I realize it gets a little loud (it is a whistle factory…). So, if you go, for goodness sake, don’t blow your whistle inside the whistle factory!

Industry keeps everything moving forward! American pride waving from one side to the other side of this classic production facility. Thank you for the tour and the knowledge you share with students.
Hector H — Google review
They are very friendly, great business. We did the tour as a preschool group, and while the kids loved the machines and working factory, there was a lot of other information and comments that went over their head. My older kids who were also there (and LOVE "How it's Made") really enjoyed the whole tour. The toddlers (2 and under) had a REALLY hard time since they obviously couldn't run around and the tour takes an hour. There isn't a lot of movement in the tour... It's more of a turn and look at this machine, turn and look at this machine, walk 10 feet and look at this machine. Overall, I would recommend it, but I wish they offered a shorter tour for little kids.
Andrea G — Google review
Needed to kill some time before my flight and so glad I chose the American Whistle Corp. tour! Phil was a great tour guide! The perfect blend of attention-grabbing information and humor about a product I didn’t think I cared to know anything about before. The whistle making process almost follows the manufacturing era chronologically beginning with the good old fashioned press, following through automated soldering, cool cyclonic deburring, and plastic mold injection. Was alone on this tour but the staff didn’t make me feel like this was an imposition. Phil was as excited to teach me about whistles as I became to learn as the tour increasingly engaged me until the climax where I was allowed to make my own custom whistle gifts out of various colors and even from a bag of unique color-change-out pieces. My kids now have one-of-a-kind whistles to commemorate a one-of-a-kind tour.
David M — Google review
I loved it! Granted, it is a SMALL, WORKING factory, so it's not an all day event, but the guide was interesting and attention grabbing. Everyone was polite and the tour was enjoyable, and especially affordable. What a great operation, and even better it calls central Ohio home! Thank you!
Jennifer S — Google review
The best factory tour in Ohio. The owner gives the tour and he is very detailed, and funny. He takes you through every step, shows every machine and answers every question. This is the model for how all factory tours should be done. I can't recommend it high enough.

Schiller Park, located in the charming German Village neighborhood just south of downtown Columbus, is a historic green space with a rich cultural heritage. Originally established in the mid-1800s and later renamed after the renowned German poet Friedrich Schiller, the park offers various attractions such as a fishing pond, playground, tennis courts, and a stage for outdoor shows. The area also features traces of German-American culture, including spots like Schmidts sausage haus and a bronze statue of Friedrich Schiller.
One of my favorite parks in the city. It’s great for people watching and enjoying the many dogs our residents have. I always make a new friend when I’m here. The squirrels let people get awfully close too! Mind the north center of the park when it’s heavily rained as it will flood!
Kaitlin F — Google review
I liked Schiller park a lot! There’s so much greenery and the pond with artwork installed around is so beautiful! There are so many geese near the pond. The park wasn’t very crowded when I visited. They have lots of seating area in the park. There were a few monuments in the park too. The theater in the park really stood out to me! I wish I could have seen the Shakespeare play at the theatre. In terms of artwork, the umbrella girl statue was so beautiful!

Perfect Urban Park for Daily Walking & Community Activities This park has become an essential part of our daily routine - I take Kygo here every morning for our 2+ mile walk (to the park, around, and back), and it never disappoints. What Makes Schiller Park Special: Excellent Maintenance: - Always clean and well-kept - Beautiful mature trees providing great shade and scenery - Well-maintained walking paths perfect for daily exercise Friendly Community Atmosphere: - Dog walkers, joggers, and families are consistently friendly and respectful - Great sense of community among regular park users - Safe, welcoming environment for daily activities Outstanding Recreational Facilities: - Sports courts: Pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts in good condition - Historic Recreation Center: Well maintained community facility - Beautiful landscaping: Tall, mature trees create a park-like oasis in the city Active Community Programming: - Friends of Schiller Park (nonprofit) does excellent work maintaining community engagement - Farmers markets throughout the year - Community garage sales and other seasonal events - Historic German Village Association involvement adds cultural richness Safety & Accessibility: - Generally very safe for morning walks and exercise - Occasional unhoused individuals seeking shelter, but they're respectful and typically move on during daylight hours - Well-lit and visible from surrounding streets Bottom Line: Schiller Park is exactly what an urban neighborhood park should be clean, safe, active, and community focused. The combination of excellent facilities, beautiful natural features, and strong community programming makes it a true asset to German Village. Perfect for: Daily dog walking, morning exercise, family recreation, community events, pickleball/tennis enthusiasts Would I recommend? Absolutely! This is a model for how urban parks should be maintained and programmed.

Very nice park to enjoy some time in. There is parking available at the community center. People take care of it and you see lots of dogs being walked. The pond has some modern sculptures and another of the namesake in the middle of the park breaks up the grass and tree cover. Just nice.

This is one of my favorite places to go. I almost don’t wanna tell you about it🙊 It is a peaceful place to walk think meditate Read a book. It is home to many events during the summer and spring. There is a library seemingly connected to this park It just so happens to be the library headquarters for downtown😊 Beautiful pond Love the tree sculptures

Not a bad lil city park. It's typically always crowded but that's expected due to It's location.

Goodale Park, established in 1851, is the oldest public park in Columbus and one of the oldest in the country. Surrounded by Victorian homes, this historic park offers picturesque skyline views and a serene atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy various amenities such as tennis courts, a playground, picnic areas, and a gazebo. The lush greenery and a charming duck-filled pond with a fountain make it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls or family outings.
This was my first time visiting Goodale Park, and it is an amazing place! There are lots of seating areas, which make it perfect for a picnic spot. The lake is beautiful, covered with water lilies, and I even saw plenty of dragonflies fluttering around. The elephant fountain is wonderful — I loved watching the water stream out of the elephants’ trunks. I also noticed some park benches with built-in chessboards. If I had brought chess pieces, I would have loved to sit and play a game there. There are also plenty of walking paths, making it a great place to stroll and relax. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature in the city.
Vyshnavi V — Google review
It’s a nice park, it was our go to place 25 years ago. Now you better keep your eyes open and all belongings near you at all times. The park has a high homeless population that isn’t shy about approaching anyone. Events there are a cluster. The park has outgrown itself and there isn’t enough room or parking for what’s going on to run smoothly or in an organized manner.
Michelle L — Google review
Beautiful park with lots of paths, a pond, and a playground. I believe I saw some tennis courts too? Really enjoyed the shade and how close it is to lots of shops. Was walking distance from our hotel too!

A beautiful park to relax, admire the scenery, and walk with the dogs. You can see squirrels and ducks. The fountain is beautiful. The grass is very well-kept and the flowers are colorful.

Was in town for a day off from a trip and looking for a court to hit some balls. This free court in this beautiful park was great! Very well maintained, free and was very fulfilling!

I was here for a kickball tournament that the industry I work for was having at this park. It is a great space for outdoor activities. They even had a building that was air conditioned that we privately reserved and kept food in. That was nice to be able to utilize to escape the heat.
Alyson D — Google review
It is a very good place to spend time. I come here very often. You can sit and watch the water coming from the trunk of the baby elephants for hours without getting bored. The place makes you feel good. The ducks will be your entertainers. The park is very big. It has pickleball courts. Good for evening walks. I have seen many photoshoots at this place.

A local park in a great location. It's a backyard for many of the residents and hotel guests in the area. A square block in size Goodale Park is complete with a pond, fountain, gazebo, statuary, trees, and a small center for varied events. In June and July, there are quite a few community events held in the park. Parking available but limited although there is on-street meters and a garage nearby (not always accessible during festivals or parades). NOTE: Dogs - supervised - are allowed to run free.

Hayden Falls Park is a serene natural spot located near a bustling shopping center in Columbus, OH. The park features a 35-ft. waterfall formed by the River Scioto curving a gorge close to the Griggs Reservoir. Visitors can access an overlook via a boardwalk and enjoy picnic tables amidst lush surroundings.
Pretty little park! The waterfall was stunning and we saw a family of ducks! Not pictured but we also saw crayfish down in the river. They keep it nice and clean and natural.
Rowan D — Google review
I loved the boardwalk upon arrival. The leaves falling gave it the perfect fall touch. The boardwalk was short and scenic but I was a bit sad when we saw no waterfall. I saw on tik tok that if it hasn’t rained you went see a waterfall but I was just passing through the state so out of curiosity wanted to take a peek. If I ever come back to Ohio I’ll be sure to check it out again and hopefully there will be a waterfall. Otherwise very nice scene stop. There’s also a river you can look at if you walk over to it on the bridge looking walk way .also the parking lot is. Wei small . Maybe can fit 6-8 cars . We went at 10 am and there was only 1 car
Celeste T — Google review
Cute 5 minute trail, some good picture opportunities if there's not too much trash in the stream. Easy for kids, definitely don't suggest for the disabled (lots of steps). Parking can be a huge pain, there are not many steps. Use whatever luck you have, because there are not many convenient spots to park nearby and walk if the lot is full. There is a nearby garden center that you may one day be able to park at and walk to the park, but as of July 2025 there is construction in that area and most of the walking paths are completely blocked off.
Sean G — Google review
Pretty park, waterfall dried up unfortunately but its pretty! Very small trail; can be walked in 10 minutes or less. If youre looking for a short trip, stop by!
Hunter L — Google review
Cute little walk, lovely foliage. The fall was dry when we went, but we will be back again after some rain.
Leah D — Google review
The falls were easy to get to and clean unfortunately it hasn't rained for 3 weeks, so the falls were falls no more, but a short comfortable walk in nature surprisingly in the middle of a very populated community
Missy — Google review
From the parking lot there is a steep flight of steps if you aren't active it may be a little harder for you, once down to the waterfall it's a super cool hangout to bring chairs and look around the rocks and water. Found a turtle, snake, fish and crawdads so pretty active wildlife for the area

Beautiful and short trail. Even though it rained the last couple of days I expected a trickle, but there was NO falls to see today...

Antrim Park in Columbus, Ohio is a sprawling outdoor space gifted to the city by the Antrim family. Covering approximately 120 acres, it features a quarried lake and the Olentangy Greenway Trail, offering various recreational activities such as skating, running, biking, and walking. The park includes playgrounds, soccer fields, interconnecting trails, and greenspaces for visitors to enjoy.
I haven’t walked around the park but I’ve used their tennis courts and love them. FYI during the hotter months there are mosquitoes, so use mosquito repellent😅😭 There’s some basketball courts too.

Scenic view of the lake and surrounding forest all year long! Easy access from parking lot under SR 315. It helps to stay on your side of the paved bike path—or use the bike-free inner gravel path.
Deron H — Google review
Lovely park. Loops around with the walking trail as well as a separate bike trail. As you can see, the scenery is beautiful. There were ducks at one end and and a leashed dog went swimming at another end. Great place for a leisurely stroll or more active run. Fun to catch up with a friend.
Eliana Y — Google review
This is my favorite local park. There is a lot of parking and I'm the back is a walking loop that goes around a pond. It's 1.3miles long so a nice distance! There's also a secondary path off into the woods that's fun to explore and goes by the river.
Alex R — Google review
Lovely visit to the park, alway drove by and was curious. The parking was plentiful, and the path itself was really fun to walk around. Lots of bikers, joggers, and casual walkers. There are paved and dirt paths. Beautiful neighboring paths as well.
A A — Google review
One of my favorite parks to take a relaxing walk in Columbus, and enjoy some beautiful nature scenes. I saw a beaver swimming by the last time I was there, and a few little bunnies! I love that you can easily go on the Olentangy trail if you'd like, or just do the loop trail around the pond. Even though it's really close to the highway, I don't feel like you can hear the traffic once you're down the trail a little bit, which is nice. Always enjoy seeing all the dogs walking around as well, or sitting on the dock for a little while as well.
Maria S — Google review
We had our daughter's wedding at this park and it was just beautiful easy access to find on the park it was had a beautiful Lake Worth she took her wedding pictures at was easy for my husband to go in and out since the place that we had the wedding was big enough I highly recommend it is in Columbus Ohio
Selisa B — Google review
I have lived 15 minutes away from Antrim Lake for the past two decades and just discovered this gem! I loved it so much that after my first visit, I returned three more times within five days. The loop around the lake is accessible with many people around walking, running, or fishing. There are several spaces that will be perfect for picnics or lounging with a good book in hand. At times that I visit alone, I have felt safe. While the highway overpass may not be ideal, the sound does get muffled after a while and isn’t too bothersome. I look forward to exploring more of the trails in and around the park soon.
