Nice place for waffles! -I came here on a brussels food and walking tour, the guide went in and got us waffles while we waited outside, but he said this was the store to come to for waffles. -I came back for a second time to try both kinds of waffles -The waffles are great, there is 2 kinds, the hand held original kind, which is amazing, or the square on a tray with different toppings kind, there is many different toppings to choose from. -I tried both kinds, and both were great, i do like the original alot, but the chocolate and strawberries were good too!

Taste good, I got the classic one which is good for both waffles and chocolate. Waffle are crispy and light. Credit card accepted. Enjoy !

A TOTAL TOURIST TRAP!! If you're just looking for a place to sit and have some overpriced beverages, this is the place for you!! 😚 Otherwise, honestly, the place is overhyped. The waffles were okay at best, but they cost 10€ for a basic waffle with just chocolate and ice cream. The worst part is the incompetent workers. There were four or five of them all chitchatting and doing nothing. Many tables were still available, but they made sure a line was created downstairs to create the illusion that it was full. I'm telling you, it WAS NOT. The servers didn't even bother to say hello or tell us which dish was which when serving us; they just plopped it down on the table, which we didn't appreciate. Bonus: For all the workers they have employed, the toilet is in an unbelievable state. I've included a picture here as proof, and I hope the person reading this is not eating their long-awaited, overpriced waffle right now. 😅 In conclusion - absolutely NOT WORTH it. Just take one to go if you absolutely have to, and eat outside.

We had a great waffle here and really enjoyed it. It was clear this was a proper, high-quality waffle with excellent flavour and texture. The price is on the higher side, but the quality almost justifies it. A very reliable choice for a delicious treat.

The best waffle I’ve ever had. They have good choices of waffles on their menu. I’ve tried the queens special which comes with cooked strawberry plus icecream and it was delicious. They were quite busy but it was work waiting in line for this great waffle.

Biggest tourist trap EVER!! DO NOT GO HERE!! Huge waiting line, huge prices(we paid about 11.5 euros per waffle), low quality chocolate!!! How can the chocolate be so bad??? It tastes like chocolate sauce from the supermarket. The whipped cream was tasteless and the cooked strawberries were so bland and somehow bitter?? The chocolate waffle was horrible but the speculoos one was pretty nice especially the icecream(that s why 2 stars). The seating area was ok but SOOOO COLD! Do they not have heating?? The Liege waffles were a decent price, but I think this place may not be as “genuine” as other waffle places just based on all the offerings of toppings (just my personal opinion after trying a number of waffle places). We found their waffle less fragrant and a bit too crispy compared to other Liege waffles we’ve tried around the country. It also wasn't as hot/fresh as I expected it to be. The stand had great business though, so be prepared to queue a bit to get your waffle. There’s a tiny area to sit but you’ll likely have to stand or walk while you eat.

They make their whipped cream fresh on sight (which you can see them doing behind the counter), had ours with chocolate, cream strawberries and banana. Recommend!

First of all, the most ridiculous thing is that there is a mandatory drink requirement, and just fries with a drink cost over €10 (in the most famous spot in Amsterdam it was only €6.5). On top of that, they only have 4 types of sauces, two of which are just ketchup and mayonnaise. All of this might have been overlooked, but there was hair on our tray. The staff’s attitude was definitely unpleasant. The fries were no different from any ordinary ones — I definitely do not recommend this place.

Vegan waffles in Brussels are very hard to come by so this is an amazing spot. It’s tucked away in a small shopping mall but there’s signage at the entrance and you can see Veganwaf from outside looking in. Their waffles are also gluten free for those in need. The waffles are made fresh to order and taste delicious and fluffy. You can then choose your toppings of sauces, creams and fruits. I (vegan) had salty caramel and banana and my omnivore partner had just chocolate. They were both delicious and we said we would have gone back time and time again if we were staying in Brussels for longer.

We have a family member with an allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. We assumed we wouldn't be able to have a waffle in Brussels. At one of the places we went to they suggested Veganwaf because they'd be able to accomodate his allergies. There wasn't anything on the menu he couldn't have. Waffles were made fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.

We got vegan waffles with chocolate and cream and they were pretty decent. I think you can tell they're gluten-free as they're not fluffy. Surprisingly crunchy. It's just off the main square but in a strange indoor shopping centre.

when in brussels, i was dead set on trying two things: fries and waffles. it became an obsession. i couldn’t rest until both cravings were satisfied. this spot looked great and was nearby, so i gave it a shot. you can choose between the liège and the brussels waffle. the liège being smaller and sweeter, the brussels lighter and less sugary. naturally, i picked the liège with caramel sauce… which, in hindsight, was a bold (and slightly disastrous) move for someone who doesn’t love overly sweet things. i sat outside at one of their cute little tables facing the street, perfect for people-watching while waiting. soon, a kind waiter brought out my waffle: warm, glossy, and smelling like heaven. the first bite confirmed it: deliciously fresh, crunchy outside, soft inside… and way too sweet for me. but that’s on me, not the waffle. if i had gone for the brussels one and skipped the caramel, it probably would’ve been perfect. also, minor personal torture: wooden cutlery. i can’t stand the texture, but again, that’s a me problem. overall, the place is lovely and totally worth it. just learn from my mistakes and order wisely if you’re not big on sugar.

The best waffles on the street - sweet, crispy, and delicious! My wife and I are visiting Brussels for the fourth time as tourists. We love Belgian waffles, but they’re not good everywhere. This time we were lucky - these waffles are perfect!

Not at all worth the wait or hype. We were thinking of eating a well balanced crispy waffle with some chocolate sweetness and sour tasting berries. What we got was a caramelized hard waffle, overly sweet chocolate sauce and sugar coated (again too sweet) hazelnut. The dark and white chocolate sauce both were too sweet and after eating the waffle we felt very nauseous and extremely full! Note: On owner's reply to my message above I'd like to add, I chose chocolate sauce but that does not mean it is supposed to have heaps of sugar, I expect the sweetness in normal amount. Also, the hygiene level and handling of fruits by the employees was very questionable (ps. Cutting fruits with the same hand and taking payments/touching screens). Ultimately, sweetness level and hardness of waffles is a subjective matter. For me it was very hard and chewy with too sweet chocolate sauce. Also dear Obe, the reviews are not for you to give a sassy reply to every person who has a bad feedback for you, it is just for the business to improve their model for future customers. Take it or leave it, not my loss.

We tried Aux Gaufres de Bruxelles to eat waffles in Belgium for the first time, and unfortunately, it was such a bad experience that it almost made me afraid to try waffles in Belgium again. I ordered a Brussels waffle, but they gave me a Liège waffle instead. It was chewy, raw inside, and I could actually taste the uncooked flour. It was impossible to swallow. The so-called “chocolate sauce” was not real chocolate — it tasted like cheap vegetable oil mixed with cocoa powder. The strawberries were sour, even though it’s strawberry season, which was very disappointing. When I returned the waffle and asked for a properly baked one, the staff member threw mine away aggressively, spoke in a language I didn’t understand, and was extremely rude. He insisted that “the waffle is supposed to taste like this,” but I know very well how waffles should taste, and this was nothing like it. Later, I tried waffles at other places such as Maison Dandoy, Albert, and others, and the difference was huge — the quality there was excellent. This was our first place to eat waffles in all of Belgium and so we wanted it to be great....and it was. I'm not going to say that it was the best waffles ever because I am not a waffle connoisseur. But I will say that I judged every other waffle based on this experience and based on 4 days of eating waffles across 4 cities in Belgium that this was one of my favourite experiences. I had the Brussels and the Liege waffle side by side to compare and I discovered that my preference is to the Brussels style. I preferred the super light and crispy texture instead of the thicker and denser nature of the Liège. The Liège was good, but not my preference.....and yes it is supposed to be that way. Lots of toppings choices, handy to the square and to car parking (and I need to do a 5 star review for the car park too - which I mention here in order to say that having a close car park makes going here extra worth it for those driving). Prices are good compared to everywhere else I tried it. Toilets (WC) were clean, staff were good, but typical and certainly friendly and helpful. Hot chocolate was good. For toppings I had chocolate, fruit and ice cream....all were good but I wished that the strawberries were spectacular. I am so used to being blown away by strawberries here compared to back home but these felt like back home. Highly recommend for price, service speed, seating, convenience and most of all...taste. We spent a total of 86Euro and had: An international Breakfast 3 brussels waffles, 1 liege waffle 9 toppings 2 juices 1 large fries (which were also very good) and free water. I would probably consider the toppings to be priced a little higher than expected BUT its a super nice place to sit and eat in a great location so that's what you are paying for

Gaston definitely satisfied our craving for Belgium waffles and ice cream. The waffle was fluffy and warm, and had just the right amount of icing sugar on top. We paired it with their ice cream - the caramel flavour was really rich and delicious. There’s lots of seating which is great for when you want to sit down and enjoy your dessert! It can get a bit busy but the line moves pretty fast.

The pistachio ice cream is the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. It was creamy and had such a silky texture that melted in your mouth like velvet, and it didn’t have that artificial taste of pistachio, it tasted just like you expected it to and wasn’t too sweet at all! And the cone was such a great crunchy texture and nutty flavor that combined perfectly with the ice cream!! Such a great sweet 🍦

Great ice cream, not-so-great staff. We went to the till to order, but the lady there rushed us and rudely said she didn’t care about our choices, just the number of scoops. After paying, we moved to the service counter and asked for one of the dark chocolate flavors, only to be told it cost 50 cents extra. With a queue behind us, we chose a different flavor to avoid holding things up. This could’ve been avoided if we were allowed to pick our flavors before paying. On top of that, the staff kept giggling and gave off an arrogant vibe — not a pleasant atmosphere.

Appalling service at the counter second time in a row. First time, a few weeks ago, the assistant serving ice-cream didn’t bother to look at the receipt, and then proceeded to tell me what I had paid for. I raised my voice and insisted on what I had paid for, then he took the time to look at the receipt. Another staff member spoke with him and he apologized to me. Second occasion, just yesterday, 17 July in the evening, the counter assistant was downright rude, although I observed she was very obliging with the male clientele. She didn’t bother giving me a receipt. One of my orders was ready immediately and I was asked to wait for the second at my table (they gave me a number). Thirty minutes later and my partner has finished his ice cream and I’m sitting with nothing in front of me except the number 18. Several servers have passed and not bothered to inquire as to what I have been waiting so long for. My partner approaches one of them and tells her I’ve been waiting far too long. She eventually approaches me and asks me what I ordered and to see my receipt. I tell her what I ordered (she gets it wrong so I tell her a second time) and that the assistant at the counter didn’t give me one. She refuses to prepare my order without proof. I have to open my banking app and show her the transaction details at Gaston. Satisfied, she tells me she’ll go and prepare it. In the meantime, she comes back and offers us a coffee on the house and apologizes. Too little too late. What appalling service. We’re not going back and we’re sharing the experiences with friends, family, colleagues…

This was our first Belgian waffle experience. Stopped here quite late on a hot evening. Ordered different waffles for all fo us. I watched then making the waffle and it's not a typical batter but almost like a dough which I found quite interesting. The waffle itself was delicious, crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was also not too sweet. Prices are excellent as well. Ice cream are also really good.

Not recommended. She simply reheat the waffer tat is already done. Not crispy at all. Good thing it is less sweet compared to Liege waffles. Disappointed. This is my first review post in google. Actually almost all prepared in some other shops. Only see one van on the go tat do fresh ( maybe should find this in future )

The waffle was pretty okay. It was hard and not tasty. The shop itself is beautiful and serves a wide variety of flavours. The coffee was decent. I was let down as it was the first cafe that we went to in Belgium and had high expectations! Just a visit worth for the beautiful ambience!

The waffles were delicious, my girlfriend and I got three waffles, whip cream with banana, strawberry and Nutella and cinnamon waffle with whip cream and Carmel and an Ice Tea for a total of 26€. Definitely would recommend. Limited seating and small establishment.

The place a nice and quint. Good coffee and a plethora of gaufres to choose from. The staff may need to more attentive to the customers but overall great place for a quick coffee and gaufres.

They have waffle with plenty of topping choices. I went for the classic one, waffle with Belgian chocolate on top. It was freshly made and really nice. The place is a bit narrow and was packed with people, so dining in was a bit hard at the time. It was also a little hard to find, even with Google Maps, as it’s tucked down an alley I wasn’t familiar with.

This was by far the very best waffle we had in Belgium in our entire stay. Didn't have any expectations but had a waffle and coffee to go for our train ride and realized it was so good that we had decided to get some more on our way back! Wish we had known sooner we would stop at this station just for these waffles!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The Store is originally from Bruges. I did a day trip to Bruges and couldn't eat there and this is the only place they have a branch in Brussels. The taste is so good. I tried their basic waffle with Milk Chocolate. I enjoyed it a lot. As it is located in the train station it would be easy to grab a waffle while leaving or arriving at Brussels.

Tried the waffles with Albert. Not bad. I think it will be the best if they serve dark chocolate too.

We really enjoyed our liege waffles here! We came at a busy time for the train station, yet got our waffles in less than two minutes! These waffles are made in house, and tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were very friendly and generous with the toppings we ordered, which is always appreciated. Good prices as well, I recommend!

Very tasty Liege style waffle! As it can take a while to order, when it is crowded, I won’t recommend to go there when you are time-wise tight. I found it tastier than 3€ waffles I tried in the city center, the price (3,3€) is very good considering it is in a big train station.

I went for the basic chocolate waffle to get the authentic experience. I wasn’t disappointed.

The venue is basic with uncomfortably small tables. But buzzy due to many people in a confined space. The waiter brought out the wrong beer but quickly replaced it and no charge for the "error". Anyone can make a mistake but this one was quickly and efficiently resolved. However, our main mission was to try their much hyped fish and chips. The portions were a decent size made up mostly of chips. Sadly, these were pretty bland. The fish was fresh but not a lot of it, and it suffered from the same lack of flavour. We did try two different styles of the catch of the day, the classic and a rosemary thyme version. Neither of us liked the latter. The classic was OK, but we were expecting more than just OK. My partner, who was only recently introduced to the delight that is fish and chips, commented that these were the worst she'd ever eaten. Overall, a disappointing experience that failed to justify the Brussels tourist prices.

Fried fish is crispy and served in hot temperature. Potatoes 🥔 fries also feel home made. Lemonade with mint is also ok.

I’m very disappointed with the fish and chips. The potatoes and fish were clearly fried in old, burnt oil. The taste was awful, and the food was not edible at all. I expected much better quality. Honestly, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with fish and chips.

When I was making payment by Apple Pay on the POS card reader, the staff clicked on the '10% tip’ herself and asked me to wave my phone. It was a rude gesture, and I was taken aback! Because in Belgium, it's not common for restaurants to automatically add a tip to the bill, service charges are typically included in the price of meals. I would gladly tip for great service if I wanted to. Being a savvy Asian tourist, I immediately changed the 10% tip to the ‘no tip' option and then wave my phone. To the service staff : You could have earned yourself a tip from me if you didn't click on the 10%, thinking I won't notice. To the owner of Bia Mara : You can check your Brussels Center restaurant's CCTV for 10th July 7.42pm transaction when your staff pressed the 10% tip by herself. The fish and chips were very good but the chairs were old and rusty. The strawberry and basil lemonade was ok.

I wanted some fresh seafood and this didn’t disappoint. They had 4 fresh fish options today and stuck with the classic cod fish…absolutely delicious and fresh!

So good! Nice place in the city center. The fish is tender, the dough on the batter is crunchy. French fries are yummy too. The tartar sauce is perfectly balanced. Loved the house rose as well. Service was super friendly even though the place was busy. Definitely highly recommend.

We waited in line for about 30 minutes and were served hard fries that seemed to come from the bottom of the batch. It was our first visit to Brussels, and we thought this would be the best place to try authentic fries, but we were a bit disappointed. The sauces were nice, though, and the meat croquettes were also good. If you want a better experience, I’d recommend asking for fries that aren’t from the bottom of the batch and are freshly made. Price is good, only 4€ for a large fries which is good for two if you also get a couple of their huge croquettes.

Came to taste the “best fries in Brussels” and they did not disappoint. A small is more than enough for 1 person, easy for two people to share. The mayo was good. Quick service, hot fresh fries. The three cheese croquette was also delicious.

Probably the most well-known spot for fries in Brussels. The line can be long, but it moves quickly, and the whole setup works well — grab your cone, choose a sauce (there are many), and head to one of the nearby bars that let you eat your fries with a beer. The fries are very good — golden, crispy, soft inside — though not my personal favorite in Belgium. Still, it’s a classic for a reason and worth a stop, especially if you haven’t been. Go for the Andalouse or Samuraï if you want something with a bit of a kick, or just stick with the mayo. The large portion is generous. Touristy, yes — but not in a bad way. It still delivers. PS. My face here is after trying out 6 frites vendors so the recommendations are more or less foolproof .

Next to a square by the metro, this modern bar has a great selection of beers, and not just Lambics. They have a simple food menu. The staff are friendly and helpful when choosing an appropriate beer. Informal ambience. A good stop while exploring.

A very nice stop along the way. Outdoor tables to sit and enjoy some beers and small bites. Service was kind and knowledgeable. Today's tastes were the XX Bitter, the Kriek cherry lambic, and a simple wit. There is also a small plate menu with quiche, fries, and other enjoyments.

If you’ve already checked off Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Boerenerf and Delirium in Brussels, this place is definitely worth a visit. About half of their tap list is lambic, usually around €6–7 per glass. Interesting selection of craft beers managed to find something I liked - the bar staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Good outside area to enjoy drinks in the sun and shade from the large umbrellas

Nice outdoor seating and a wide selection of desserts. However, the service could be more welcoming, and while the cakes are visually appealing, they don’t quite deliver on taste. I also wasn't impressed with their best-seller Lingor d’Or. It's basically a marshmallow with fruits and whipped cream.

I was recommended this place from the classic open top car tour guide. It did not disappoint. Apparently this is the place that royalty eats at. The Paris Brest was simply delicious, and looked as good as it tasted. The raspberry tart equally as good. It was a treat to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful patisseries with a coffee.

My wife doesn’t like sweets. She doesn’t like chocolate also! But…….. She cannot resist the temptation and the beauty of the pastry here, and we know why the Belgian royal family loves the pastry here! We too s break here for our guided city tour and it was so good! These guys supply pastries to the Royal so you know they are legit! You would be spoilt for sweet choices here. The pastries we had were all very good, and we definitely left with a bit of a sugar high. Loved that they did oat milk matcha lattes. You can’t go wrong with ordering any of the croissants/ pastries or the waffles.

We bought the Belgian chocolate to take back home as a souvenir and were not disappointed. The shop has plenty of chocolate to choose from 🍫 with various combinations of ingredients and flavors. Something sweet to remember after your visit to Brussels. Service was nice , I wish the young shop assistants were able to explain better the recipes of various chocolate combinations.

Very disappointing. The macaron tasted old and dry — I couldn’t even finish it after one bite. The dessert overall was not good either. The only positive points were the coffee and the friendly service. However, it was quite expensive for the quality. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

Beautiful looking sweets/pastries and kind staff that helps you. Subtle in flavour, it is a sense of luxury to eat. Unfortunately there is a small disconnect between the luxury of the goods and the style of the shop. The shop has almost a cafeteria feel, which is a shame.

If you’re in Brussels and even thinking about trying Belgian fries, Frit Flagey is non-negotiable. Tucked just off Place Flagey, this little fritkot serves up some of the crispiest, fluffiest fries you’ll ever eat—twice-fried the traditional Belgian way, golden on the outside and creamy on the inside. Yes, there’s almost always a line. But take that as a good sign: locals, students, tourists, and even late-night wanderers all queue up for a reason. The service is surprisingly quick, and the staff manage to stay friendly no matter how busy it gets. What sets it apart? The sheer crunch of the fries, for one. But also the wide range of sauces—andalouse and samurai are crowd favorites, but don’t overlook their tartare or spicy Brasil. The portions are generous (even a medium cone could feed two), and they come piping hot in that iconic white paper cone.

I come here every Sunday only for fries + mayo. This place has for me the best fries and the best mayo in Brussels ! Service is quick but expect a line on sunny days. Doesn’t matter as they are open late so you can easily come out of rush hours. Hard working people, delivering always the same high level quality fries. Reason why I’ll be there again next Sunday

This place is in a cool and happening area in Flagey. This is one of my best fries places in Brussels. The fries are fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. It's excellent! They have a good selection of sauce as well. They also offer other snacks and quick bites. The staff are warm and hospitable. They speak very good English and also Dutch. Compliment to their efforts! They really make you feel welcome. They accept both cards and cash which is quite handy. The only downside of this place is sometimes the queue can be quite long.

It's one of the better fry shops in Brussels. It has a cult-like following that will swear it's the best, for good reason. If you are able to catch the fry place without a queue then it is definitely worth it. Though, if the queue is long, I am not sure if I'd wait more than 5 minutes for them. I liked the more humorous nature of the fry shop, making it whimsical.

I heard that this is the best fries in Belgium? I never really expected to try I thought it was kinda out of the way but I didn't expect it to be so near the plaza where I alighted when I visited Ixelles. The queue was quite long but was efficient as they were prepared quite fast. My impression of people selling fries in Belgium is not so good because I see a lot of fries already cooked so I have an impression the fries served is not hot but it turns out otherwise. As usual this is one of the other fries place I tried and the fries are hot and good. I asked the guy to recommend me a sauce and he just told me to pick 1 of their 17 sauces. Not a pleasant answer but I chose the curry sauce. Turned out it was a good dip with the fries. I don't know how did it become the best fries I thought it was pretty good and quite similar to the other fries I have tasted. Recommended if you happen to be in Ixelles area.

I went here in a saturday night and it was not busy at all. That is something I enjoyed, since the other delirium places were really crowded. You could only order at the counter, but they were nice and the service was fast. It is also really cool that you can buy a meter with all different types of beers to do a tasting. A con is that the music was very loud and the place itself did not have any athmosphere/ aestethics

This is a great place to sample a wide variety of Belgian beers and people watch. There is a larger delirium pub, which is like a small city, but this is more manageable. And it is in the center of the district for evening revelry. A good combination of variety and calm and hubbub.

A great spot to unwind and people watch… on their nice sized patio right along a busy off shoot of the main square, Little Delirium Cafe offers a huge selection of draught beers as well as bottled. Try their famous “Metre of Beer” which is a selection of 10 5oz draught beers offering a gamut of many styles of Belgian beers… a great to delve into the craft.

Overall good experience. Highlight of the place would be their impressive beer list, offering a wide selection of brews to choose from. The variety available gives you the opportunity to explore and try out different flavors. The staff were friendly as well.

For a year, i saw ppl stand in a queue to get icecream, finally i decided to give it a try, i got a cup of two scoops( banana-Moka) the banana was normal but the Moka was so bad, so im not sure why ppl wait in queue for that, i dont think i will try it anymore

Wonderful chocolate store with incredible staff. We got there 15min before closing and they already cleaned all their utensils but they still took our order and made us hot chocolate, which is incredible!

Stepping into Laurent Gerbaud in Brussels, I definitely had high hopes given the city's reputation for amazing chocolate. They've got a great selection of chocolate drinks, ice cream, and those little chocolate cubes. I tried a few of their chocolate cubes, and they were pretty decent. However, I have to say, it was tough to tell the different flavors apart – they all kind of blended together for me, which was a bit of a shame since I was expecting distinct tastes. I also went for the iced dark chocolate, and it was just okay. While the flavor was there, it felt a bit on the watery side, which made it feel less rich and decadent than I was hoping for, especially for a dark chocolate drink. It just didn't have that super thick, luxurious feel you often expect from a really good chocolate place. Overall, it was an interesting visit, but maybe not quite what I envisioned for a top-tier chocolate experience in Brussels. It's a nice spot, but I think there's room for improvement, especially with the texture of their drinks and the distinctiveness of their chocolate cube flavors.

What a fantastic variety of chocolates! It was so exciting to try unique flavors like black olive chocolate - surprisingly delicious! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommended.

I visited the shop hoping to enjoy a truly special hot chocolate, under the impression that it was a dedicated chocolaterie. Unfortunately, the drink turned out to be quite ordinary—just cocoa powder mixed with milk. Pleasant enough, but far from exceptional. It seems the establishment may be better known for its chocolates rather than its hot chocolate offerings. I had expected something richer, perhaps made with melted chocolate and varying cocoa percentages like 50% or 80%. That level of depth and indulgence was missing, and I left somewhat disappointed. It’s also worth noting that the shop operates on a semi self-service model: you place your order at the counter, and the staff bring it to your table. On the bright side, the team was friendly and helpful throughout the experience.

We came here to warm up on a coldish spring evening. My husband loved their hot chocolate so much, he ordered a second one. He was not as amazed with their pralines. I ordered Americano and it was pleasant - not overburned, aromatic. Beware their Irish Coffee - they use canned appriximation of whipped cream with it, which is a totally unhealthy product that nobody should consume.

I loved this place, it was small with not many seats but It wasn’t crowded so we had a peaceful lunch, sat down and had a unique waffles. Was glad that they were serving savoury waffles cause let’s be honest, we had too much sweet during our trip Amsterdam-Belgium. I visited this place mostly because of the Gaufres (Waffles made with yeast dry dough), So it was a disappointment that they weren’t that great. We tried three different ones but our favorite was the chicken. I suggest to everyone that you try the sweet ones to have a complete experience.

The waffles were very good, a bit to light and airy for my taste but firm and crunchy. The simple Belgian chocolate one was OK but not great while the one with pineapple and coconut ice-cream was delicious. Unfortunately, like most, our expectation were highly inflated (in our case by a guide) and of course we were expecting the best waffle in the world. I still recomand the place to have a good waffle (sweet or savory) but don't expect the best one in Brussels.

Staffs are adorable! Waffle is very light so it’s not a heavy and chewing dough. The Belgian chocolate is kinda dark chocolate. Good place to have something sweet and not overpriced.

I can only guess this place doesn't have many more 5-star reviews because it's a small business with no seating available. The liege waffle was good. But the Brussels waffle was the BEST one of the day. And we ate A LOT of waffles that day. The waffle itself was not particularly special. Don't get me wrong; it was good. But the toppings they offered is what took it to the next level. They have a lot of options: chocolate banana, strawberry chocolate, caramel, oreo, bueno... i don't even remember them all but they looked equally fantastic. We had a speculoos waffle that was absolutely delicious. The waffle is impossible to cut with the plastic silverware they give you, so we found the best option was actually to slide it out along the end of the container and take one delicious bite at a time. Try it. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely Cafe that serves the most amazing waffles. Ordered a savoury waffles paired with roasted beetroots and avocado with pickles on the side. Though this menu might be seasonal. The pardons are wonderfully sized parcel-size waffles with chocolates, brilliant dessert. Coffee was spot on and the staff are super friendly. A worthwhile visit.

Went there with my friends looking for a proper Belgian waffle. We were lucky to find this hidden gem. The waffles were amazing, the vibe had a cool anti-establishment charm and the cute lady working there has a smile that brightens your whole week.

The small waffle is the Belgium waffle and the big one is the Brussels waffle. The whipped cream, butter, or syrup are sides, which are separate and to order. We also ordered a BXL Brunch which included juice, hot drink, filled Brussels waffle and 3 sides which cost €21. Very delicious, many interesting flavors. It's a cozy place so it takes a while to get your waffles made to order--It's worth the wait, and the price for a special visit :)

This place is amazing!!! She’s got everything you need from sweet to savory. We had the burger bowl and Mac which were delicioussssss! The Mac was a triple decker sandwich but with a waffle. Wow. Such a great place. The owner is such a kind woman who really puts her heart into each item she creates. 11/10 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Very delicious waffles, especially the burger one. Good thing is that it's all HALAL. not the traditional waffles you'd expect in Belgium, but it's totally worth it. For the sweet waffles, ingredients and options are unlimited whether you want different sauces, different kinds of fruits, biscuits, or ice cream. Highly recommend 👌 👍

We ordered burger waffle sandwiches here with the smoked bacon sauce, which was just as yummy on the fries as the burger. The atmosphere was cute and music up-beat. The shop employees were friendly. It took a while to have our food freshly made. If you are used to burger restaurants being a fast-food restaurant, please realize this is not a “fast food” restaurant and set your expectations accordingly. The owner came out to explain that all the foods were “homemade” or as we would say, “made from scratch” which is why it took a bit longer. I would recommend the food here, super tasty, lovingly made, very delicious!

We had an incredible experience at Beyond Waffles in Brussels! The owner and staff were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to explain everything in detail, making the visit even more enjoyable. The sweet fruit waffle bowl with crème fraiche was light, airy, and not overly sweet, thanks to their homemade low-sugar batter and fresh fruit. It was a refreshing take on the typical heavy waffle. The savoury "Mac" waffle burger, made with bio-beef and thinner waffles, was perfectly balanced with amazing homemade truffle mayo. We also enjoyed two refreshing homemade non-alcoholic cocktails—lavender and raspberry—both made without sugar. A la Mort Subite in Brussels is on the map; it’s well-known and frequented by locals and tourists alike. At more than 115 years old, this Brussels institution has a history of welcoming writers, those in business and more. Go there to step back in time and admire the tall ceilings and the old posters adorning the walls. Have a kriek (cherry beer), or any other beer or glass of wine. Beers can be served in three sizes. Speaking of sizes, the food portions are respectable including when you order a portion of bread (for a small fee) - the slices of bread are gigantic. The team working at A La Mort Subite are used to the crowds and do their best to find empty tables / seats for those just entering and they are prompt with delivering orders. For the nostalgia, the beer and the food, definitely visit A La Mort Subite in historic Brussels.

An old establishment with a lot of history. It was nice to come.and try their beer. The prices are a little too high and the beer was not as cold as expected. The service can be better.

This is the worst food I’ve ever had! It’s way too expensive. The wine they served wasn’t even authentic, and it’s cheaper in the supermarket. 😓😓 The horse meat was almost raw and bloody, and the beef stew was too sweet. I feel like I completely wasted my money. On top of that, the female waiter was very rude.

An old place in Brussels city center that’s been around for 100 years. The vintage interior, with its weathered tables and chairs, makes its age immediately apparent. But it seems to have lost some of the old-world charm and courtesy it once embodied. The wait staff are indifferent—and worse, they seem downright miserable. I don't expect anyone to fall at my feet and butter me up but you’d think a smile wouldn’t be too much to ask. Maybe it’s a cultural difference, but at these prices, you’d naturally expect better service. Food and beers are overpriced compared to elsewhere. Not worth the cash or the attitude. Just snap a photo and bounce.

We were a group of around 8 people and still managed to get a table for all of us. The food tasted really good – I had the salmon quiche. The prices are on the higher side, but as a tourist in Brussels, I can't say for sure if that's typical for the city. Nice place with a good selection of Belgian beer and snacks. What I find really strange and inappropriate is that, as a group, we were not allowed to split the bill — we had to sort it out among ourselves. For this point, minus one star.

A few days back, we found ourselves once again drawn to the timeless charm of À La Mort Subite, one of Brussels' most iconic beer cafés. Known for its classic Belgian atmosphere, rich wooden interiors, and an impressive selection of traditional brews. Hapkin (on tap) A strong blond ale poured with a golden glow and a creamy head, it delivered subtle hints of citrus, spice, and a smooth malty backbone. Chimay (on tap) Chimay Red, which brought deep notes of dried fruits, caramel, and a touch of spice. Rodenbach (from the bottle) Flemish red-brown ale, with its characteristic sweet-and-sour profile, had subtle hints of oak, and berries. Refreshing, and uniquely Belgian. Dessert: Tiramisu All Around To round things off, tiramisu was unanimously chosen — and rightfully so. The place is located well but the service was too slow. Recommended only for beer tasting not the food.

Very mixed opinion about this place since the food was well done, tasted really well. The view and scenery is something you cqnnot find that easily in Brussel. Small chill island in Ter Kamerenbos. But the service of the waiters was very underwhelming, some waiters were not allowed to take our orders, we never received our requests for mayonnaise with fries (you know we Belgians need mayonaise with the fries!) 😅 Had to wait a while for them to ask for our order. 1 Waiter could not even force to smile once after taking our order. The last waiter who brought us our dessert was sweet so i guess you need to be lucky with who is serving you. I loved the food and atmosphere. The only working point will be the service. Tip: dont forget to bring 1 euro for the boat ride per person, even if you have a table reserved.

What a brunch!! Loads of choice, no compromise on quality and a stunning terrace, what more can you ask for. What is quite surprising is that the small ferry service is a euro per head… I would have thought that this was included in the price of the brunch. Nonetheless the short trip is unique and adds to the overall experience. Thanks Chalet Robinson!

The experience was nice especially it’s my first time having the brunch. The food choice was great and the service was fast and friendly! Although I have some advices that I hope will be taken into account : - Cloth napkin instead of tissue (especially for the price of the brunch); - Real spoon for cafe and not the wooden stick we usually get at gas stations (especially that it’s « à la carte » and not offered on the brunch); - Put table cloth on all the tables in the 1st floor (not just for big tables but also for tables for two) so everyone feels special; - Always have the expected amount of food until 3pm because it’s not fair for those who booked the 1pm slot and don’t have the same amount of food as the one who booked the 10:30am slot; - Have a space dedicated for the cold food not only ont the 1st floor but also on the ground floor (cold cuts, breads, etc) and keep the hot food on the 1st floor so those who are on the ground floor doesn’t feel neglected.

I’m sad I didn’t get enough pictures of this p’ace and the food, but that usually means I was enjoying myself to the point that I couldn’t be bothered to take pics! This place is one of the nicest places I went to in Brussels, you take a moving platform, wouldn’t call it a boat, that is tugged by a rope and operated by someone, they ask for a 1 Euro payment per person. Once you are on the mini island, nice outdoor seating and the brasserie on the terrace, both very nice, but we went for dinner so after hanging around outside, we went inside to eat. We had the carpaccio and the entrecôte steak, both were lovely. Staff kindly admitted to us that fresh juices weren’t in fact fresh so we went for other choices, but overall great place, good food, and good service. Go when the weather is good!

Great place, in an island in the biggest park of the city, and great food (super good the savoury waffles, the carpaccio and the vitello tonato). Good price for Brussels. Waiters are not super efficient, but if you are a relaxed person you would not care about that.

A great little cave like bar down a stairwell. Brick arch ceiling and low lighting. The bar tenter was friendly and beer so so.

Dark and atmospheric bar 🍺 set inside an antique building, which gives it a really cool vibe. The beer selection is solid, though keep in mind you can only pay by card for bills over 10 EUR — so we ended up ordering two at a time. Still, it’s a nice spot to enjoy a few drinks and soak up the unique atmosphere.

I recently visited this underground pub that was absolutely fantastic. The first thing that struck me was the great variety of beers available. There were so many different options to choose from, I could have spent hours trying them all! Additionally, the heavy metal music playing in the background added to the unique atmosphere of the place. The pub itself was like a time capsule, with vintage posters and decor that made it feel like I had stepped back in time. However, what really made the experience special was the friendly and welcoming service from the man behind the bar. He was super friendly to us and our son, which made us feel right at home. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this underground pub and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great beer selection, unique atmosphere, and friendly service. Whether you're a fan of heavy metal or just looking for a cool spot to hang out, this place is definitely worth a visit

A dark cellar with a smell of being a cellar (which I really liked) I'm starting to think that this is a place for people who's into heavy/black metal music. All in all, it's a good place for a beer or five😊

Dingy basement bar with a great draft list, excellent bottle list and wonderful music playlist, if you're into rock, punk and metal. Picnic tables to sit on, trashy bathrooms, if you like this kind of place, you'll love it here and we visited often. Just a few blocks away from the grand place. They serve both fresh and aged Orval, but in Chimay glasses.

Crowded but worth it -- if you get a seat, especially. People are friendly, beer selection is awesome and local, and they have live music! Space is really interesting -- barrel vaulted ceiling made out of brick seems like it's an old cellar or catacombs converted into an underground beer bar. Nice separation of rooms means there's an intimate feeling even in a crowded space.

The 3 star rating is for the use of frozen waffles. The restaurant is decorated fairly nice, and the service is quite well. The brunch items are cooked fresh, and the waffle did taste fairly well as well. Then we saw a delivery of frozen waffles being dropped off. For the price they are charging, I would have hoped they were freshly made waffles. It doesn't seem like it would be that much of a hard ask for that.

My sister and I researched waffle places all morning and finally landed on this place. It certainly didn’t let us down, the place looked amazing! We waited maybe 5 minutes for our waffles after we ordered and they were the best we’ve had in Brussels yet. The staff were very helpful and friendly also!

Did we come all the way from Canada to Belgium to try waffles? Yes, we did. The Belgian style waffle was our favourite as it was light, fluffy and more crispy and tasted really good with the savoury options. The liege waffle was sweeter and more dense, definitely better for the sweet options. Definitely review all the options before you get into line.

I tried Crispy & light Belgian waffle with a dark chocalate and banana. I suggest to add nutella or white chocalate if you like sweet more. Atmosphere is good located on square. And the place next to it have good jazz music.

Absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! It's located about 35/40 mins from the centre and the area is affluent and feels very safe. The staff were lovely and accommodating at all times, the rooms were perfect for what we needed and the breakfast was delicious. You can even ask for fresh eggs to be made to order.

I recently stayed at the Le Châtelain Hotel in Brussels and had a fantastic experience! The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, with beautifully classic furniture that added to the hotel's charm. The location was good – not so far from the city center, making it easy to explore all that Brussels has to offer. One of the highlights was the stunning gym on the top floor, offering breathtaking views of the city. It was the perfect spot to stay active and take in the sights. My only suggestion for improvement would be to reconsider the pricing for breakfast, as it was one of the most expensive in the city. However, overall, I would highly recommend the Le Châtelain Hotel for its excellent location, comfortable rooms.

Perfect location. A classic French building. We were 2 minutes away from the Arc De Triumph, Champs de Elysse and the hop on hop off bus stop. Many restaurants around. You are in the middle of everything where you can walk everywhere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There are two things I didn't like about the hotel 1. There was this big dirt stain on the carpet. Looked like very old gum that had turned into pancake. Really gross. 2. On the last day, we decided to have a breakfast buffet. We didn't know it was buffet. We ate few and the total came out to be 79 Euro. What?!!!. Never eat buffet style breakfast.

I stayed here about two years ago to attend a concert. The care and attitude of the service staff was surprisingly the highlight of my travel. The room was clean with vintage charme. The location of the hotel is rather ideal. Constructive criticism: Bread of my avocado bread was a bit dry. And one lampshade was broken. Nothing that mattered to me personally was particularly bad at all.

This place is right very close to the city hall, you will find it busy most of the time, that was what encouraged me to try it, other than the amazing smell coming out of the shop. 1- The place decoration is really nice and feels happy. 2- They got a variety of choices, and al are so good. 3- The waffles they have taste amazingly good. 4- Prices are good for the location of the shop and quality of peoducts they use. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy sweets and belgian waffles.

The waffles looked so delicious and had a great presentation. Unfortunately, the waffle itself tasted old and was so hard we couldn’t eat it 😭 I spent 20€ for these waffles and was just disappointed. The shop had so many fruit flies all over and it was obnoxious to try eating with flies everywhere.

We stayed at the Thon EU Hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. We also enjoyed the weekend breakfast, which truly exceeded our expectations. The buffet offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, making it a highlight of our stay. Overall, everything came together to create a fantastic experience we would definitely stay here again.

We spent a lovely weekend at Thon Hotel EU to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Prior to arrival, I asked if they could help decorate our room for the occasion - and what a wonderful surprise awaited us! Balloons, a personalized postcard, and flower petals on the bed… it couldn’t have been more perfect. My wife absolutely loved it - thank you for making her day so special. Check-in was quick, friendly, and professional. We truly appreciated being given a quiet room, which ensured we enjoyed restful nights throughout our stay. Breakfast was good - not extraordinary, but everything you could need to start the day well. The highlights for us were the tomato juice, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and the delicious self-made pancakes. A huge thank you to the entire staff! Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful, from recommending restaurants to offering directions and local advice. Your warm hospitality made our stay memorable. We would happily return and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brussels. 😊

Excellent stay! Modern, clean, and very well-located, just a short walk from the EU institutions and close to the metro. The rooms are spacious and quiet, with super comfortable beds. Great breakfast selection and friendly staff. Perfect for both business and leisure. Would definitely stay here again!

We only stayed for a night but had a fantastic stay! It was a comfy room and had lots of amenities (I.e. Full size toiletries, fridge, iron, etc). We told them we were celebrating our anniversary and they surprised us with some tasty pastries. The location was great, it was nice and close to the transit station. It was away from the city centre hustle and bustle which I appreciated from a noise perspective since it was right on the main road.

Highly recommended if you’re on a business trip in Brussels. Although it is simplistic and modern, it has all what you need. Including a small but well equipped gym. The breakfast was perfect and included many healthy items.

This theatre was an incredible experience! Funny and authentic. We watched a play on Carmen, trying to hold back laughter in between the amazingly funny dialogues. The play was in a mix of Flemish (Dutch) and French, but it wasn’t hard to follow on with in my experience. (I am Dutch and French speaking though.)

It was such a great experience. It felt so cozy and the theatre was so amazing and real. Even if I didn’t know any French, I had a great time.

A haunt for many years This quirky little bar meanders from one room to the next with puppets hanging from the ceilings. The beer is always good and has a fine selection. I really enjoyed the music they were playing during the day varied and fun. The courtyard has expanded since I was last there.

Fabulous spot to visit in Brussels. Full of authentic charm and history. There are puppets from the theatre dotted around and programmes/posters dating back to the earl 1900s. Brilliant beer selection. We visited around 12.30ish and could get a table. It was table seevice to stay then ordered at the bar. One of the best stops to visit in brussels!

Amazing marionette theatre. Better if you understand a bit of "Brusseleir" (sort of Brussels French - mix of French and Flemish with a bit of creativity on top) But also with less local linguistic insights, the play and the atmosphere in this little super traditional theatre is splendid.

We would not have found this bar had we not taken an adventurous turn down a non descript alley. It is also a functioning marionette / puppet theatre. We missed a show but enjoyed an amazing flight of beer at this beautiful historic pub. Do not go to Delirium if you are serious about your pubs, history and beer. Go here instead. .

Highly recommended! I was blown away by how awesome this venue and the performance were. The performance was in French--that was tough for me, but the puppeteers were very talented, including their voice acting. I also searched the story [Le Busso] plot online and could sort of follow along from my phone. There was a bar in the museum (which had plenty of cool pieces), lots of nice toilets in the nearby restrooms, and the value for the ticket was solid. There is no back support except against the walls so if you need that you may have to sit in the back. Seating is first-come first-served, so be early to get your preferred spot. You can't eat or drink during the show but intermission is long [30 minutes?]. Even if you don't go for a show, the downstairs bar is open to the public and has the former puppet theater as a seating venue, which also looks like a museum.

Today I went to this shop to try a new type of Belgian chocolate.. but the service was below average.. I bought a small quantity 4.93 euros.. its prices are high..

Absolutely superb chocolate. We went to ~10 different stores and this was by far our favorite. They offered really great products at fair prices and the staff members (in particular Caroline) were helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. We would definitely come back again (in fact, we visited twice!).

Small place to have a quick waffle. They have in several variations and are freshly made, which is not the same everywhere in Brussels. The place is very small so it is more to take away. The oreo waffle is very good though!

Stumbled upon this small waffle spot in Brussels by chance. It’s a casual place with limited indoor seating, but there are benches and high tables outside where you can enjoy your food standing. The focus is on Liège waffles, freshly made to order with a wide range of toppings. While the flavor isn’t the richest or most traditional, it’s still tasty, and they’re generous with the toppings! They also serve gelato with a good variety of flavors. A nice little find for a quick and satisfying treat.

The waffles are made in front of you and they are amazing, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. What an absolute great find. Waffles are made to order in front of you. They're a good size and not too big. Definitely great value for money. Fresh fruit on top too made it even better. If you are looking for a fresh Belgian waffle made in front of you, do not expect that here. Got the Nutella waffle, not soft or fresh. The waffles are kept in trays under the counter, no fresh batter anywhere to be seen. On a positive note they do use fresh fruit!

Went there in he morning to have waffles. This place is near the Grand place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered three brussels waffle and it was hot and delicious. The kids enjoyed it .

Visually appealing waffles but average / underwhelming flavor. You're probably here becuase you saw the storefront display and were wowed by the artful toppings - not because you read the reviews. That's how they get ya. In fairness, the display waffles did look like latte art. It wasn't bad, but for the price, I expected better. Service was slow and although there is some seating inside the restaurant, it feels very cramped. If you were wise enough to check the reivews before stepping in, I'd skip.

Ice cream is fine, can't say the best we tried but 4/5. The problem is a but hurry and rude stuff. When you order, you don't choose the taste to later realise (after you paid) that your choice is not available but it's not mentioned in the menu. Then lady pushes you to take another about which you have to think a bit - I'm talking about kids, imagine it's not fast... Just a matter of improvement, suggest to write clearly which tastes are out today.

The best Salted Caramel ice cream ever!

Totally disappointing business behaviour. My daughter with 4 friends (11 y old kids) queued for 30 minutes only to learn that they cannot pay cash due to Gaston’s broken cash machine. Would it not be human to give those kids ice cream nevertheless instead of sending them away?

This is a nice new place here in Stockel place, a pity the ice cream is not good at all, hard and buttery, not my type at all. The cost is also really high, I consider 2,5 euro for a ball ( even small ) a steal.

Delicious ice-creams for take-away. Not much seating space.

A cool ice cream break in the middle of Summer. The flavors are unusual and on point. I tried the Pineapple Sechuan. Service wasn’t the best as they were not smiling and were a bit rude.

Wet to grab an ice cream with a friend and was positively surprised by the cheap prices. It was very delicious and the staff were sweet as well. Enjoyed the sun on the tables outside and the sounds of the city.

Fine artisan chocolates. The chocolate is beautiful to look at, come in a vast flavour selection, and melt very smoothly in your mouth. They are above average chocolates.

Was lucky enough to be invited to a tour of the factory 20 years ago. Fell in love with the Pierre Marcolini chocolates. On our recent tour to Belgium as a treat we purchased some PM chocolates to remind us how good they were. We were disappointed. The quality of the chocolate seems to have declined massively, maybe cost cutting? Would not recommend at all. Way too expensive for poor quality chocolate and poor taste.

I love Marcolini chocolates, they are my favourite , but I’m disappointed they sold me a box for the present with expiration date in one week :(

My first time I tried this chocolate and it did not disappoint. This is the place to shop if your a chocoholic like me. I bought the assorted 25 pralines with crunchy & soft textures all dark. Best gift from Brussel! It's available in U.K ex. Selfridge

Yummy! Always fresh, they give ice gel to keep macaron freshness.

Yum yum. Yum... Chocolate paradise.. Belgium chocolates finest. Almonds coated in chocolate then covered in the cocoa powder, a chocolate melting moment. Yummy sweets and pastries. Come here for a life changing chocolate journey. Was great talking to the staff knowing the process these delicious treats are made let alone the history of Pierre Marcolini. Best chocolate in the World!

The staff here tricked me into taking something more expensive and used the language barrier at play in order to get me to pay more. Those are some very scummy tactics they use. Service wasn't fast either, we waited a good 10 minutes for three waffles while other cutsomers got it after a minute. Tourists are very clearly treated worse. Obviously language barriers are a problem, but the instructions about what to do were unclear and the staff didn't seem to want to help. I could get better service at a McDonalds. The street itself is a large shopping one and it's pretty crowded and dirty. At least the food is fine, nothing too special (I've had better waffels in Brussels) but also not bad by any means. I had an overall bad experience though.

Great deal on hot chocolate and waffles for €5. But the waffle quality is poor, not good. There's Galet 2 minutes away that makes better waffles. I spend a little more but I eat better.

They have several large signs that say hot cocoa and waffle for 5 Euros, but after walking all the way to them and then waiting in line, they said they only make hot cocoa in winter. Then why is the sign up???? And it's been up for a while. Misleading, and a waste of my time.

Delicious gauffres and ice creams! Their milkshakes are also delicious! The staff are hardworking. They are very busy, and time-efficient The ambience is nice! My only problem is that it's a shame there is no restaurant-setting, so that I could sit inside and enjoy my gauffre or ice cream. I have to eat out whilst walking

Tried bananas milkshake, it was Just cold Milk with a small banana flavor, for 8€. Don't recommed

The MOST AMAZING waffle I have ever ate, was just perfect, I went to different places in Brussels but this one definitely stole my heart.

They do not bake waffles on the spot but just reheat the pre-made ones. Not tasty!

We tried lots of truffles so far. And from what’s supposed to be a high quality product with the price of 100€ per kg we expected much more. The taste is weird, bad indeed Even though the little chocolates we were given to try at the store were good

The chocolate is very nice, a well known reputable brand. However their prices are quite high which makes it hard to justify the purchases. The reason I've given it 4/5 is how nice the staff were, very helpful and sweet. Once we made some purchases they gave us some freebies and extras which was nice.

I highly recommend this shop. Neuhaus invented the traditional praline and their products taste delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, too. I recommend the „Masterpieces“ - a package of 21 assorted pralines (250g, 25 Euro). The most traditional triangle ones are really marvellous.

Should replace the blonde hair girl with glasses working at 9:20pm on Monday 15 September 2025. Might get more sales as there was no interaction with us and 3 other separate customers that walked in. Pathetic customer service - acting as if she is busy. I think the store closes 9 not 11…… lost some sales for sure. She needs a Belgium waffle or some chocolates to cheer up!
