It's a sculptural genius, we had been there just to view it in the evening and walked around in the park nearby. The ambiance is calm and cosy, definitely recommended to visit with friends and family.

Spectacular structure. They take you to the top level by elevator where you have a panoramic view of the city. Then you work your way down each atom. In one of the atom, they have light and sound show which is very cool. Finally you come back to the lobby level and gift shop. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommend it when in Brussels. It’s conveniently located close to a train station so you can reach it from any location in the city.

Visiting the Atomium in Brussels was one of those iconic “we have to do it” moments and I’m glad we did! We went on a Sunday without pre-booked tickets, and thankfully it wasn’t an issue. We waited about 15 minutes to purchase tickets and begin the experience. Just a heads-up: the visit is split into two parts, and you’ll receive two separate tickets per person. The first part of the tour takes you up a series of escalators and stairs through the spheres, where you can learn about the history and construction of the Atomium. Most of the informational signs were in French, so we moved through this part fairly quickly, admiring the architecture more than the displays. At the end, you’re guided through the gift shop and outside — which felt a bit confusing, because you then need to rejoin the crowds to continue on to Part 2. The second part involves queuing again inside the building — about 20 minutes for us — before taking the futuristic elevator to the top sphere. The view from above is definitely the highlight, especially if you love snapping photos and videos. There’s also a restaurant at the top, and free restrooms (a lifesaver after all that waiting and cold weather!), but we didn’t have the chance to dine there since we were catching a flight later that day. Once you’re done enjoying the panorama, there’s one more line for the elevator back down — so yes, a bit of a queue-athon overall. 😅 In the end, it was a good experience and I’m happy we visited — the Atomium is unique, quirky, and a standout piece of Brussels history. That said, the flow of the tours could definitely be improved to reduce all the waiting. If you’re planning to visit, be prepared for lines and maybe book ahead if you can, but the views certainly make the effort worthwhile!

This is a very fun and interactive activity for travelers of all ages. There are concurrent and subsequent additional places like other museums that you can attend while here to include “LITTLE EUROPE AS PICTURED”. This place is perfect for gathering souvenirs as well as picture taking which is professionally available and opted to you at the ending of the activity. We did not get to frequent the restaurant at the top due to them only having one section of the restaurant open at the time; however, other reviewers have stated the food is not good.

Getting a ticket online is recommended, as the venue can get quite busy. The presentation collection is impressive, but the view is hidden by coloured glass. However, the breathtaking and impressive stairs with the light show are worth the wait.

Beautiful tourist destination is Brussels, Belgium. There was a steady line of tourists enjoying the beauty of this modernist building. It is an important landmark in Brussels. It was originally constructed as the center piece of the 1958 Brussels Expo. Now it is a museum and an art center. When one stands under it one is likely to marvel at the huge symmetrical structure. The huge globes are interconnected symmetrically giving the building the shape of an atomic structure. Atomium is built in a very beautiful location, surrounded by fine gardens and a nice row of trees.

Great meat hunting place for local who brings cash. Nightmare for tourists with contactless payment methods, non smoking. They had three amazing DJs as it’s an iconic club to play in Brussels. So if you love the artists so much to put up with constantly shouting smoking crowd, that will push you, one way toilet operation, cash only, one person at a time weird tap for coins system cashier, and two euro each time you open the locker. Then you’ll be ok.

If you're looking for a great place to party, it is the place to be, very good sound quality, good electro DJs, and the staff at the bar is amazing, highly recommend the place!

Nice location in an old movie theater. The place is big and has three floors. The entrance fees are a little higher than other places but still ok. I liked the flair of the place and the large dance area.

For me it was cool to visit a techno club but it wasn't my kind of thing and the primary reason was that they played the exact same beat for 1h straight. Also the cost of entry was 20€ and could only be paid cash. The price in itself isn't to high in my opinion but having to pay cash is just anoying to be honest, especially when you can pay by card at almost 99% of all the other places in Brussels.

I have been to multiple rave parties in multiple countries, and I can say that this club really impressed me. Great atmosphere, safe vibes and extremely friendly and professional staff. Really appreciate the fact there is a water fountain. There was also a smoking area, where people are friendly and you can spark conversation with some fellow raver. They also have blood alcohol tester so you can check yourself if you feel unwell. The toilets were also extremely clean and free, which is a rare sight in rave clubs. The pricing is okay, but even if you pay a little extra, the experience is so good that I think it’s worth it. Overall I recommend it to anyone who’s look for a good night out!

It may have been because we went on New Year's Eve, the club was packed with people, pushing and stumbling, not good for the techno vibe. You can't pay by card beyond the main cash register, making long queues to consume. You have to bring 2 euro coins for the lockers. It was a bad experience for me, I will try again another time.

Next to a square by the metro, this modern bar has a great selection of beers, and not just Lambics. They have a simple food menu. The staff are friendly and helpful when choosing an appropriate beer. Informal ambience. A good stop while exploring.

A very nice stop along the way. Outdoor tables to sit and enjoy some beers and small bites. Service was kind and knowledgeable. Today's tastes were the XX Bitter, the Kriek cherry lambic, and a simple wit. There is also a small plate menu with quiche, fries, and other enjoyments.

If you’ve already checked off Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Boerenerf and Delirium in Brussels, this place is definitely worth a visit. About half of their tap list is lambic, usually around €6–7 per glass. A la Mort Subite in Brussels is on the map; it’s well-known and frequented by locals and tourists alike. At more than 115 years old, this Brussels institution has a history of welcoming writers, those in business and more. Go there to step back in time and admire the tall ceilings and the old posters adorning the walls. Have a kriek (cherry beer), or any other beer or glass of wine. Beers can be served in three sizes. Speaking of sizes, the food portions are respectable including when you order a portion of bread (for a small fee) - the slices of bread are gigantic. The team working at A La Mort Subite are used to the crowds and do their best to find empty tables / seats for those just entering and they are prompt with delivering orders. For the nostalgia, the beer and the food, definitely visit A La Mort Subite in historic Brussels.

An old establishment with a lot of history. It was nice to come.and try their beer. The prices are a little too high and the beer was not as cold as expected. The service can be better.

This is the worst food I’ve ever had! It’s way too expensive. The wine they served wasn’t even authentic, and it’s cheaper in the supermarket. 😓😓 The horse meat was almost raw and bloody, and the beef stew was too sweet. I feel like I completely wasted my money. On top of that, the female waiter was very rude.

An old place in Brussels city center that’s been around for 100 years. The vintage interior, with its weathered tables and chairs, makes its age immediately apparent. But it seems to have lost some of the old-world charm and courtesy it once embodied. The wait staff are indifferent—and worse, they seem downright miserable. I don't expect anyone to fall at my feet and butter me up but you’d think a smile wouldn’t be too much to ask. Maybe it’s a cultural difference, but at these prices, you’d naturally expect better service. Food and beers are overpriced compared to elsewhere. Not worth the cash or the attitude. Just snap a photo and bounce.

We were a group of around 8 people and still managed to get a table for all of us. The food tasted really good – I had the salmon quiche. The prices are on the higher side, but as a tourist in Brussels, I can't say for sure if that's typical for the city. Nice place with a good selection of Belgian beer and snacks. What I find really strange and inappropriate is that, as a group, we were not allowed to split the bill — we had to sort it out among ourselves. For this point, minus one star.

A few days back, we found ourselves once again drawn to the timeless charm of À La Mort Subite, one of Brussels' most iconic beer cafés. Known for its classic Belgian atmosphere, rich wooden interiors, and an impressive selection of traditional brews. Hapkin (on tap) A strong blond ale poured with a golden glow and a creamy head, it delivered subtle hints of citrus, spice, and a smooth malty backbone. Chimay (on tap) Chimay Red, which brought deep notes of dried fruits, caramel, and a touch of spice. Rodenbach (from the bottle) Flemish red-brown ale, with its characteristic sweet-and-sour profile, had subtle hints of oak, and berries. Refreshing, and uniquely Belgian. Dessert: Tiramisu All Around To round things off, tiramisu was unanimously chosen — and rightfully so. The place is located well but the service was too slow. Recommended only for beer tasting not the food.

Very good food, good place, nice atmosphere. Problem was with payment. They refused to allow us to pay separately. We came back next evening (it is a nice place) and we asked upfront that each of us would order a beer and pay immediately - but the waiters waved their hands and said not possible - the table has to pay together. So we left. Afterwards my colleague told me that they were talking in rude french.

An old favorite that has kept going over the years. Famous for its yard of ale glasses. Didn’t try one this lunchtime but instead had their own beer in its fabulous glass with the glass crow as part of the stem. The glass was so good I had to buy one from them, they sell packs with the beer and glass together.

Good atmosphere but bad service. Ordering 3 beers without problems, and half an hour later the same order is a problem because it’s not “at least €15” (which is illegal)

The location was great, so we found it on Google. I recommended it to my tourist friends who were visiting Brussels for the first time to meet up and have a drink. It was a huge disappointment, especially the waiter's attitude, which was incredibly rude. We normally accept immediate payment after ordering, but he rudely told us to come with him to inside. His tone was incredibly rude. He also wouldn't let us pay separately, which he was rude about. If my friends weren't tourists, I wanted to get up and leave right then and there.

A pretty cool place in Brussels with a wide variety of beers and reasonably priced food. I also really enjoyed drinking from their Chevalier glasses, a whole experience by itself. The food was decent. However, the service was extremely disappointing. Our waiter was very condescending, unwelcoming, and sassy in an unprofessional way. He was constantly irritated when I tried asked questions about the menu concerning information that wasn’t included. “It’s OBVIOUS that the tartare comes with fries and salad” even though it’s not written on the menu, how stupid of me, sorry for bothering. All in all, I really enjoyed this place except for the service. Would I return? Maybe, but not if the same waiter is serving us.

The worst restaurant in Brussels. Never had such a bad attitude and services. We arrived to the location after looking at the menu and wonting to have a salmon with mashed potato like in the picture in the menu and they didn't have it, after that we were waiting for half an hour and no one came to service our table of 5 because the waiter don't speaks English. We got up and left hungry and had to look for another restaurant.

I would’ve loved to know a little more about the history of this boy! But unfortunately not much is known, even the theories are a far few… nevertheless a spot for every tourist visiting for pictures. I do see a lot of guides explaining about the statue and was curious to find out more… it’s close to the grand place and can definitely be included in the city walk.

It is undoubtebly a statue that you want to see when in Brussels because it's gotten so popular for some reason. I really like the idea of this little boy being a national symbol and getting dressed up in different outfits depending on current events. It somehow manages to be both impressive and underwhelming at the same time.

Manneken Pis is the famous statue in Brussels, depicting a young boy urinating. The statue in place right now was put there in 1965 and is surrounded by cameras and fencing due to previous theft and vandalism. I was surprised by the size of the statue when actually seeing it in person — it was tiny and a little underwhelming, and it would be so easy to just walk past it if it wasn’t for the crowds of people standing around. The statue is pretty humorous though, and is only a short walk away from Grand Place, so it’s worth checking out while in Brussels for sure, especially if you can catch it in one of the fun costumes. Unfortunately, during my trip, it was without this.

The statue itself is quite small and, apart from its fame, may not be particularly captivating. However, the surrounding streets and area are delightful, featuring charming sweet and waffle shops. If you happen to visit at the right moment, you might even observe a local group dressing the statue.

A must when near Grand Place. It's easy to miss and it's not that big. Walked by earlier in the day and completely missed it. These pics are at dusk/night so accessible outside of the crowds.

For a tiny little guy, it was fun to see. My grandson and I enjoyed the walk and hunt to find him. So many people from different parts of the world were together and enjoying the experience.

A beautiful place to enjoy the view of the city. There are many museums in this zone, not far away from the royal palace, near the central station. There is always music and people and hood vibes. Very nice! Very poetic!

I enjoy the upper floor (but it’s not always open) it has good views across the plaza. Serves good beer the staff are hit and miss.

As I have been going there for about a decade, this place has never changed. Cocktails are always great, prices are good, atmosphere is, although identical to when I started going there, perfectly suited for the area. Staff is always great, toilets, for a pub, are relatively clean, music is varied so it can be great, it can be terrible, to each his own. The terrace is always nice, the second floor is also great and has a nice view. If you've never been there, I highly recommend this pub.

Stayed in Brussels with friends and was taken to this bar. Very lively, great atmosphere, and it played decent music. Didn’t eat there, just a late, late drink! A cozy and convivial Belgian pub well worth popping into for a pint or two. They have a great selection of Belgian beers, and I enjoyed the music selection which featured some great French music during my visit.

This is a f'in great place. It looks vintage yet modern, the wood is worn and it's got the right vibe. The modern hip hop that day was cool too. Prices are a little steep but the cocktails are top notch quality.

L’Archiduc has a great location and a calm atmosphere, but sadly the place feels very neglected. Many of the seats and tables are broken, and it looks like nothing has been updated in decades. For a bar with such history, it’s a real shame that it’s so poorly maintained. On top of that, the drink prices are higher than average, which makes the experience even more disappointing.

A cultural heritage from 1937. I went there on monday, at noon, and without any ongoing special events. Very friendly staff and amazing pisco sour. The prices are also reasonable.

I came in with my friends wearing a dressed hat. After we all got drinks and were inside for more than an hour sitting there bothering no one, the “security guy” big dude from the picture with a hat came inside angry to tell me I need to take my hat off inside and if I don’t I need to leave because of “house policy”. This was not an issue when I entered, when I ordered or sat there drinking. This man is not only disrespectful but also I don’t know what makes him worst security guy in history since he finds a woman with a hat something to make a big deal of it or the fact that he noticed “the threat” it 1.5 hours later. Bravo for your incompetence. This place just lost three clients tonight.

Really lovely venue - Art Deco design with a great vibe. I enjoyed the margaritas and the amazing jazz music. Totally worth a visit and within walking distance of the square.

I know what you thinking. Why do I have 4 stars when everyone else said this place was buns. Well….. I can’t speak for them of course, however, my experience is more recent and it was the total opposite. The music didn’t miss. I went to their Old School Vibe Hip Hop and R&B… The DJs didn’t come to play around. It was awesome. If you are a drinker, it can get pricey. I advised to drink before you get there to avoid overpaying. But then again, I was visiting from Southern Spain, so everything everywhere else is more expensive. Overall, Just be mindful. The vibe was amazing. Never been to a party like that at a club so I was excited. I enjoyed it. I would definitely do that again. It was amazing. Beware of people constantly hitting and rubbing against you. If you don’t like that, then I suggest moving to less crowded spots throughout the place. Unfortunately,That is going to happen along with random drunk ppl hitting you and being unaware of their surroundings.

ok, it‘s amazing to be in a church BUT dont go there. the staff is not even giving you tap water even if you order shots. This is a NO-go for me. They make you PAY for peeing, what the hell is that?! sorry but this really is not to be supported nowadays.

You have to pay 5€ to use the restroom and they wont let you go outside for a bit unless you want to leave for the night. We also paid 8€ for 2 jackets. The music and the building were good but the fact that we had to pay for EVERYTHING even though we paid for the entrance tickets made us leave instantly.Very disappointing I wouldn’t recommend.

The entrance fee was 15 euros. On top of that, we paid 2 eur per piece of clothing (not per person or hanger) in the cloakroom, and 4eur per person to use the bathroom. The guy charging the toilet later allowed some men to enter the women's bathroom, and it was rather uncomfortable. The DJ was mostly a YouTube DJ and had some people dance around him and hype him up. There is a pretence of exclusivity, but it is a far cry from it.

I'm not against 10 euro entrance, that's okay. But charging for toilets and 12 euros for a half empty glass of gin tonic is definitely an overkill. Also the music was not the best, I guess we were unlucky because on this night it seems to be an event. So probably the dj was just had.

I have frequently enjoyed visiting this venue for its great atmosphere and excellent DJ sets, but unfortunately, due to the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the staff, I will no longer be returning. On a recent visit, as my friend and I were leaving and making our way to the coat room, we encountered a bouncer blocking the stairs. In an attempt to get by, my friend gently pushed against him, not realizing he was the bouncer. Her action was minimal and in no way warranted the violent response that followed. The bouncer, who was exceptionally large—easily five times her size and weight, —punched her in the face and forcibly shoved her out of the bar. This extreme size difference only makes his actions even more disturbing and completely unjustifiable. Multiple people witnessed the interaction, including two other women who were equally shocked by the bouncer's response. The police were called, but as is often the case in situations like this especially in Brussels, they did nothing to address the issue. I sincerely hope you will reconsider the staff you hire, as such behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. It is truly shameful that a venue with such a great atmosphere has staff members who are so ignorant and incompetent in representing it. This incident has deeply affected my perception of the place, and I will no longer be returning

Was invited to DJ and had a great time. People arrived early and started dancing right away. Bit later the placed was packed! Small bar Big heart! Really like it there!

Nice interior, friendly staff (the bouncers can be a bit rude, but I never had an issue with them). Unfortunately the last 2 years it's been hit or miss. Announcements on their website/socials are rare/spotty and when you go by it is either closed/ near-empty/ bad music. They used to have THE BEST packed techno/ house parties in the weekend and freestyle jazz on quieter evenings. It used to be the place to be between 2-5AM.

It's a cool place, but the sound for the live music is... difficult upstairs and a hard situation of placement downstairs, yet the best amateur musician place in Brussels.

Great place for electronic music until the morning during the weekend. Free entrance. The staff is kind. Be aware of pickpockets.

It’s a really nice atmosphere pub!!!!

I have come here a few times in 2024 and 2025. It's ok, but I find it a little expensive (the entrance is not expensive, but the drinks are expensive and the lockers and the washroom cost extra, so it adds up). It's not well maintained and it looks old - I couldn't believe it when I heard that it was just recently renovated after a fire, because it's not in a very good state. It's narrow and small, so you can't really dance. I have also not really enjoyed any event I have come to. So I have decided that I will not come again.

I wouldn’t recommend going there as a woman. The environment can feel pretty unsafe—some men act like it’s a free-for-all, and unfortunately, the club doesn’t seem to take safety concerns seriously.

Entrance fee is 15€. Dj was amazing. But : The table system they have is ridiculous. We were suddenly thrown out of the table we were sitting at. The table we were sitting at was bought by other people for 500€ and we were thrown out. Ridiculous!

Really unkind and unfair management and team here. Bouncers are quite misunderstanding, kicking out people for unclear reasons, no communication, and cruel for NOTHING. Cannot recommend this club for many reasons. The music, atmosphere, interior, vibe and people are not really good neither, so together with bad management it’s not worth it at all. The price to enter is insane (€20… Too much for a regular entrance in my opinion, especially a place with a strange atmosphere like here) Also - It’s a sexist club against men. They pay more and are literally kicked out for nothing and the first to have unpleasantries. Be careful. No worries this club is ok. We arrived around 11:30 and it was still empty when we left around 2 p.m there was a 40 meter line up to "Hyde" in the street. Though inside we tried to dance for the second hour it was quite boring. And uncomfortable. This place is so popular and we though we would have the best night of our life. Unfortunatly we saw fast that this place is too inappropriate. Maybe we are just not used to it maybe its just not for us. You have to pay to be able to sit. As the drinks menu is short, expensive, and bad though their wine/martini was the best tasting on the menu. The more tit and tat you show the better. Some. Are not even wearing tops. others are just wearing something a bit longer than their garnments. Even though I was wearing a dress i felt overdressed. Though if i was wearing something more revealing i would feel uncomfortable. Maybe its something you have to be lucky with. Maybe its something you have to try. But we payed so much gor so little. İts not worth it.

Nightclub where everybody wants to show off. You see some people dressed up like it's their best night of their lives. R&B and French Rap music. Long queu to enter if you are in the guest list, otherwise it goes quite smoothly. Separate room for VIPs and space behind the DJ. The age of the customers is between 18 and 30. Good bar, ok staff. Quite difficult to park around.

One of the most breathtaking buildings in Brussels. You can spend a whole day just admiring the arts and the building is very well kept. Don’t miss Rene Magritte’s museum in it and there will be separate ticket if you want to enjoy that one, but since you’re already there, might as well. I came here specifically to find Peter Bruegl the Elder’s paintings and I was happy that I could find some of it. The other arts are just as amazing especially Peter Paul Ruben’s. No backpack is allowed but you can put it in a locker provided there, just prepare a coin for the locker (and it will be returned back once you finish using the locker). I wished I could spend more time here and just enjoy each of the arts longer.

Large museum with many masterpieces. Really enjoyed the galleries and building architecture. The place is big, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and planning about 2 hours to browse around. Connected to the Magritte museum- it’s worth buying the online ticket that includes access to both locations.

I recommend to buy the ticket that includes the Magritte museum as well. Beautiful artwork, very big museum so it might take you about 3-4 hours. The Magritte museum is not for everyone, so i recommend looking up his paintings beforehand.

The entrance to the museum is an impressive hall, with a huge marble floor and glass roof. The second level looks over the main concourse. It’s split into sections the Bruegel section and old Dutch masters are well represented and that’s what the museum caters too. There is a small room of modern art but that’s it.

It's a beautiful museum and home of some of the best Belgium classical artits. The building is also grandiose - as they always are. We were lucky to see the Magritte exhibition. On three floors, you get a great review of his life work even without some of the most known pieces (they are privately owned). Art lovers, I recommend.

Despite Google Maps saying it would be open, it was not open on 11 November. Check their website before visiting. Other than that, it’s a pretty well-organized collection of great art. Unfortunately, some of the major artworks were on loan to other museums. The brochure with the map is very helpful.

Magritte's exhibition was very well presented. The main exhibition is also very beautiful. I recommend booking a ticket for both Magritte's exhibition and the classics (its at 15€).

Lovely museum with trains ranging from the old times till the latest. There are so many types of them and in some coaches you can even go inside! Fantastic history. Fun place for both adults and the kids! Takes around 2-3 hours to see in peace! Definitely recommended!

We absolutely loved visiting Train World! If you’re a fan of trains or have kids who are into them (like ours!), this place is a dream. The whole museum is so well put together, with a perfect mix of old and new trains on display. You can actually walk through some of the older locomotives, which gives you a real sense of how train travel used to be, and it’s fascinating. The attention to detail is amazing, and there’s plenty of interactive elements that keep both kids and adults entertained. Our toddler was completely captivated by everything, and we had just as much fun exploring the exhibits. The layout is great for wandering around at your own pace, and you can easily spend hours here without getting bored. The staff were really friendly, and the whole experience was both educational and fun. They’ve done a fantastic job of making it engaging for all ages, whether you’re a train enthusiast or just curious. If you’re visiting Brussels and looking for something a bit different, we c!an’t recommend Train World enough – it’s a brilliant experience

An amazing experience for everyone, from families with children, couples or solo travellers. This museum is definitely worth the visit, with its huge collection of locomotives, models, and trivia of the Belgian railway system. I highly recommend the Type 12 train - you won’t miss it, it’s absolutely stunning, green and is undoubtedly the central focus of the museum. I was in awe at how huge it was! It reminded me of the Emerald City Express from Wicked! The filmmakers may have been inspired by the Type 12. We visited over the Easter weekend. There was no wait at the ticket office and whichever staff member we approached, they all spoke English and were happy to assist. If you’re in Brussels, don’t hesitate to plan your visit to Train World!

Very interestin museum. I traveled close to 15 countries and only in Brussels found a museum dedicated to railroad. Fantastic exhibits and overall a great place. You should visit it for sure!

I only went there late morning, so my review is not based on the night life this Cafe provides. Located in one of the busiest areas in Brussels (Flagey), their coffee selection is cheap. If you want to meet people for a breakfast in the morning, this is the place to go. Good large location...

Café Belga is ideally situated if you're planning to see a movie or a show next door in the Flagey theater. They offer a wide range of (local) beers and other drinks. Be aware you need to order at the counter.

I had the opportunity to enjoy some excellent coffee at Cafe Belga and, for the first time in my life, tried a rice cake, which was truly delicious. The service was also very friendly and efficient, the music was great, and despite the large number of customers, there were no problems finding a table. I highly recommend it!

Ahh Cafe Belga, the biggest bar in Flagey, so full of life, with a cult status in the area. Unfortunately recently, this place went from a nice cafe where you could have a drink with friends and chat to a noisy wannabe club with meh music, and the typical rotation of good but overplayed reggaeton songs they blast seemingly every night. The drinks are unbelievably expensive, there are cheaper, better bars for socializing less than a block away. Most of the clientele is from the almost 30% of Parisians who live in this commune, and are about as friendly as Parisians are known to be. Very few locals, it’s all bobo parisians and eurocrats, spending away their untaxed income while contributing nothing to this city. This is a bar in the center of Brussels, the capital of Belgium, that barely has any Belgian beers to offer, just the Carapils-level Belpils (for about 10x the price of carapils), and a crappy selection of overpriced cocktails that take the overwhelmed staff too long to make. If you’re 22 and an expat living off of EU taxes, this place is great. If you’re a local or anyone else not in that demographic, you’re better off spending your hard earned euros at another bar. This is not even to mention the rude staff and appalling bathroom conditions, as they tend to be flooded with piss and are hardly cleaned. You’re better off peeing into the ponds and risking the fine than waiting for a toilet.

A great place to meet and have a drink: very social. However today’s visit this afternoon was very unpleasant. The waiter behind the counter was serving me when he accidentally bumped another waiter. This waiter overreacted tremendously and grabbed my waiter forcibly, dragging him into kitchen. There was a lot of noise in the kitchen and the staff who could see what was going on there, looked horrified. The waiter that was attacked, escaped to the toilets and the beard waiter returned to the counter. I don’t know the background to this incident but the aggressive behaviour of the waiter and assault of the other waiter should not happen, especially not in front of the customers 😳

The interiors and the atmosphere make you feel like you're back in the 80s and I loved it. Its chill and quiet (around 12am) and there's a lot of people just working on their laptops or having quiet meetings. There's bar service which results in a bit of a chaos with orders and it's hard to orientate oneself in the queue. The coffee was good and there's a separate bar with fresh sandwiches, salads and snacks. Great variety of drinks. Maybe a little bit on the expensive side. Thankfully, no tourists yet :)

My friend and I went on a Friday night just a bit before midnight and the vibe was quite chill. There’s a cute and quiet cocktail bar in the back! Clean bathrooms as well. Music was good. Felt like a classic American dive bar.

Accidentally found this bar during a walk but its def one of the coolest places I've been at.

I visited Rock Classic while on a trip to Brussels with a group of 9 people, it wasn't too crowded when we arrived but as the night was settling the atmosphere got really turned on. We had a great time and the drinks prizes were pretty fair in my opinion, if you're in the area I would definitely recommend this place to finish the night.

Great little rock bar in the centre of Brussels. There was free live music on the Friday and Saturday night we visited (An Elvis tribute act and a Johnny Cash tribute act). Very good quality show considering it's free. 4* and not 5* review because there is some odd rule that we couldn't work out, but seemed to be they serve plastic cups during live music (or maybe during a certain time) which they charge you an extra euro for. If you take the cup back you either get 1 euro off your next drink, or you get your euro back if you're leaving. No one ever tells you this and I imagine they make a lot of extra money from people not knowing they've been charged for their cup.

Great place in Brussels to listen to very good music. Cheap beer and good cocktails. I really loved it. The personnel is not very nice but maybe only because on Fridays night there is a lot of people. I'm going there tomorrow afternoon too, I hope to change my mind about that.

Well, an old fashioned rock bar. Live concerts, decent sound and not too big. They have a "secret" cocktail bar thet opens later in the night. Fun place to be, it just lacks some ventilation / air flow. Gets quite sweaty and smelly during live concerts.

To start off I want to say this place used to be good. That being said, I had the most disgusting undrinkable cocktail I've ever seen and I've seen some drinks. The orange look drink in the picture, that's my drink that I barely touched. It was soooo bad that it was vomit inducing. My friends drink was pretty bad too, just sweet with very unpleasant alcohol taste. Now the place is beautiful, but sadly we didn't get to enjoy that, even though that place was barely half full because we didn't have a reservation they put us in the back on the way to the bathroom. Not the worst spot I've had a drink in but why not just seat us in the front like normal people. Last the staff was okay, just barely okay. Nobody asked what we thought of our drinks. When we sat down nobody bothered explaining anything, just hi here's the qr code where you can find out menu, which almost exclusively specials. All in all very pretty place that you can't really enjoy without a reservation, but that doesn't matter because if the rest of the drinks are this bad you won't be enjoying anything once you taste them. Stay away

The place looks amazing. There is an entire museum regarding Hendricks gin. Although in the end we tested and discovered a great drink, the other drinks we tried were too spirited and not pleasant flaouvoured... I have to visit the place again, since it looks very cozy and classical, but I will test other drinks. A good bar overall, but I need to try some different drinks.

Tourist trap. Overpriced un-interesting cocktails, in a room that, while it's historical part looks great (the wooden tables, the staircase) is filled with usless cheap decoration, ruining the beauty of the place, turning it into a disney park like decore. Bruxelles has much better to offer cocktail wise.

Kev crushed it making both the Dirty Mary and also the clover club remix that I ordered. Was the fourth time my friend Rob brought me to this gem of a spot and they never disappoint. Although I am am an alcohol enthusiast and not a mocktail guy, was very impressed with Kev’s smoked beet purple carrot wonder that he invented for Rob’s second round. Gotta give it up when people are delivering at this level. True cocktail lovers should be pleased here.

Sadly, it was a very long wait for the order and and even longer wait to get the drinks. There was no explanation of the drinks no recommendations by the staff like you would expect in a cocktail bar. No physical menu, so everyone is forced to take out their phones instead of spending time together. The cocktails were very mediocre and definitely not worth the 18 Euro per cocktail. The music was not adapted to the very nice style of the bar.

Love their cocktail but expensive. Very classy and the interior setup is different in a good way. The setup is like alchemist shop , and dark inside with fake dead animals . The waiters are very helping and offer recommendations.

I had a disappointing experience at the entrance of this club. When I arrived, the security staff made a comment that I didn’t fully understand, so I politely told him that I don’t speak English very well. His response was simply to deny me entry without any further explanation. I believe a nightlife venue should be more inclusive and have a more welcoming attitude towards international visitors. I hope they improve their customer service in the future to provide a more hospitable experience for everyone.

Dear C12 Club Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the way my friends and I were treated at the entrance of your club during our recent visit on Saturday 30/8/2025 While we were waiting to enter, the lady at the door began explaining the rules of the club. During her explanation, I asked—lightheartedly and in a friendly manner—whether kissing inside the club was allowed. Instead of handling the question with professionalism or even clarifying the rules, she reacted in an unnecessarily rude and aggressive way. She instructed her colleague to tell us to leave, which I initially thought was a joke. Unfortunately, she then confirmed it was not, speaking in an arrogant and dismissive manner. In contrast, one of your staff members, a gentleman wearing sunglasses, was very polite and explained calmly that it would be difficult to change her decision. I greatly appreciated his respectful approach. I requested to speak to the manager, and another woman with long curly hair introduced herself as the manager. However, she did not seem interested in listening to my concerns and dismissed me without consideration. As someone who works in hospitality myself, I found this particularly disappointing, as I know how important it is to treat guests with respect. I am a regular guest at various clubs and venues, and I must say that this experience at C12 was one of the most unprofessional I have encountered. Staff members in such a position should be able to handle questions from guests without hostility. For the reputation of your club and the comfort of your guests, I strongly recommend that you review the behavior and training of the two women involved in this incident. Hospitality is about creating a welcoming atmosphere, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.

We went to a party earlier this month with a friend of mine. We are not from Brussels but from another EU country and didnt know the place so we had several questions throughout the evening to staff about the event. Most staff members were very unfriendly in how they addressed us and also when we asked them to help us call a taxi they refused to offer any kind of help! In the end one of the security guards explained us how to get to a taxi, but in total the entire experience was quite disrespectful and frankly outrageous!

The entrance was 22 euros with no drink and half the club was “closed” for a private event. The lady in the entrance was disrespectful and mean due to my looks. Inside the club they make you buy “tokens” so you spend more money and loose them all. I didn’t like the music but that is a personal taste…. Not recommended at all.

Very disappointed in the personnel. Arrogant and so called ‘gatekeeping’. Read the other reviews, if you want to enjoy your time you better go somewhere else.

I am a regular cliente at c12 and I do love their clubbing culture, but I did have a really bad experience when a guy allegedly from the security made an uncomfortable and I would say unapproapiated touching in the toilets of the open air without even previously asking. When I addressed his behaviour he said “he did not care”. It is sad knowing how seriously they take concern and personal space

Sooo Beautiful... that words cant express! Visited on Saturday and night time with lights on was a magical experience. All shops and restaurants were open and there was music playing. Such a lively place that was. In the morning you can see the details of building and it had its own beauty. I would recommend visiting the place both in daytime and night time.

Beautiful central plaza! Lots of ornate buildings with intricate statues and gold accents. During August when we visited there was a lot of tourists and it had a lively atmosphere. There are a couple good food options as well in the Grand Place, and all the streets branching off from it have more food options, chocolate shops, souvenirs, etc. When we went one evening the lights were flickering which was kind of fun to watch. Sometimes in the Place you’ll find some street performers and other excitement going on. It is a good central spot to orient yourself when exploring the city.

The first word that comes immediately to mind this wow! We are fortunate to stage of steps from this site. You stand in the middle and are just in awe by the beautiful architecture and the gilding of the guild buildings. It’s the center of town for a reason. Yes, it’s the seat of government, but it’s also one of the most picturesque city centers imaginable.

WOW! The Grand Place is exactly as it's name sake. And so opulent with gold ✨️ embellishments on the buildings. The perfect gathering place for food & entertainment. I just love 💛 the architecture and the stature of these buildings.... and so will you. Plenty of places to eat, drink and meet people. This is what The Grand Place is all about. We especially loved the BEST Waffles at Waffelin! SOOO delicious 😋

An architectural beauty. Absolutely adored walking through here. It's so elegant and pleasant on the eyes. When the lights changed it just added to the beauty. You feel like you've stepped back in time to when there was enough money to even create beautiful door handles. It's just a lovely place to visit.

Best place to get a flavor of Brussels in no time ! With several high end confectionery shops and cafes it’s a delight for visitor. The lace bags gats and other accessories shops there are also very exclusive . Must visit place when in Brussels. Recently they added the decades’ history information too making it more interesting place for history buffs as well as shoppers

It was a very nice shopping center. The shops inside looked as beautiful as the building was from outside. You'll find different types of shops not only for chocolate and waffles but also leather goods and clothes.

Great place to explore if you’re looking for all the famous chocolate brands in Brussels! The Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert is full of beautiful chocolate shops, and it’s really convenient to have everything in one place. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s pretty much the same everywhere else—so you might as well come here where you can compare, browse, and enjoy the atmosphere. A lovely spot to stroll, shop, and indulge!

As the holiday season approaches the decorations are going up and the Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert is one of the finest in Brussels. The shops that line the high glass ceiling passageway are also gearing up for Christmas with lights and decorations one to not miss this season.

A fun travel through Europe in just a couple of hours! The miniature landmarks are impressively detailed, and it’s both fun and educational (a guide booklet is given free with the entrance ticket that gives basic info about the country and the various landmarks) to see so many iconic sites in one place. The park is easy to walk around, and perfect both for adults and children. Some exhibits are interractive, which elevates the experience, especially for children. Allow at least 2 hours for the visit, if you are also reading the guide booklet while seeing the landmarks and taking photos.

It took me about 2 hours to explore the entire place, and every corner had something fascinating to discover. Mini-Europe is an open-air park in Brussels with detailed miniature replicas of Europe’s famous landmarks. It offers a fun, educational experience for all ages, with interactive features and live demonstrations. Booking tickets in advance is recommended to avoid waiting. Family-friendly and wheelchair accessible.

It was a wonderful experience. We saw miniature models of the most famous European landmarks and monuments, which made us feel as if we had traveled to every European country. The design was incredibly detailed, and the atmosphere was great. However, the downside was the lack of transportation — we had to walk for an hour before we could find a taxi.

Everything here is made with so much detail and precision. Upon entering we thought this is a place that’s more suitable for kids bur we were wrong! It was a very interesting place and definitely worth exploring!

Mini Europe is a wonderful visit. The models are incredibly detailed and the booklet given at the start of the tour has loads of information on the EU and each country’s exhibit. A really nice little park to spend a couple hours at!

A demonstration of all of EU’s nations and cities as well as some of UK too! The replicas are well maintained and have an interactive touch button which mostly played the anthem. The total time for the place can be around 1-1.5hrs if you wish to go detail by detail else it can be done in under 30mins too. It closes entry at 5pm, so I did do a re-entry after finishing the 4pm planetarium show. The metro stop is nearby and is quite accessible. Entry charges and packages are acceptable.

The audio guide was very informative and allowed me to discover several fascinating musical instruments, including some I had never even heard of before. The layout of the museum is comfortable, with benches placed in and between rooms where visitors can sit and take a break. It’s a thoughtful detail that makes the experience more enjoyable. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which added a positive touch to the visit. Truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again.

After an atrocious visit to the Beaux Arts Museum, MIM was a breath of fresh air. This isn't even my interest area, but I was enthralled. The collection is great, but it's the audio guide that really pushes MIM to exceptional. Being able to hear the instruments brings it to life. Never seen a museum where people are visibly bopping their heads as they walk around. It's a real treat.

It’s been probably a decade since my last visit at the Musical Instruments Museum. They really invested a lot in their exhibitions since then. The only true way to experience this is with the audio guide, which gives you the option to listen to most instruments you see in the museum. We had a good time while creating our own silent disco experience in the middle of the museum. The lift wasn’t working, so 5 flights of stairs was a bit much to the less mobile of us. Plenty of the WCs were out of use as well, making you walk a couple flights of stairs to be able to go to the bathroom…

In this museum you are able to listen to samples of hundreds of musical instruments from around the world and across time. I think there are nearly 300 audio samples to listen to as you make your way through the multiple floors of exhibits. I will say, you could easily spend 3 hours here, and it can be a bit exhausting cause there is so much to see. As a tourist, it is not a quick museum to walk through. But as a musician it was fun to get inspiration for different instrumentation that I could use. Also, the audio devices can be a bit finicky/delay when selecting samples.

The Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels offers an impressive experience for anyone interested in music. Some areas, particularly around the interactive exhibits, appeared in need of cleaning.

Due to the busy schedule I wasn't able to enter it but I enjoyed watching the building from outside and learning about its history from our tour guide.

Simply beautiful. You can clearly see this royal family appreciates their heritage, ancestral lands, and culture. The layout is remarkable. Some homeless around, but relatively safe to walk around. Financial district nearby. Sablon also nearby.

Not one of the most beautiful royal palaces in Europe, but overall very attentive to detail. The Italian garden is impeccably maintained, and the proportions of the building are very good and easy to follow. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to visit inside due to the short time I had. I will definitely take advantage of it next time.

Very pretty and also we got to see kings guards as someone important arrived at the same time we was there. Lovely place and in front had a huge park to walk around.

Beautiful royal palace, it was not open to public when we were there, but it seems they open it to public during summer time. You can get a good view of it from the side street.

I came here for a quick bite and got the goats cheese and pesto waffle. The waffle was really good. The service was quick. The tables and chair were made of metal and were small. They were not very comfortable to sit at. I would recommend stopping in and getting a waffle.

I Tried the Waffle Factory and was honestly underwhelmed. The prices are quite high compared to other waffle spots in the city, and the quality doesn’t match the cost. Surprisingly, the savory waffles were better than the sweet ones, which lacked the richness you'd expect from a Belgian waffle. The hot chocolate was very disappointing — extremely light in taste, almost like colored water. The interior has an industrial feel that lacks warmth or charm, making the experience feel more like a fast food stop than a cozy waffle café. Not the best choice if you're looking for authentic Belgian waffle vibes.

I ordered a waffle with milk chocolate and pistachio sauce along with an iced Americano. The waffle itself was average, and the outside tables could have been cleaner. However, I really appreciate the staff — the iced Americano wasn’t on the menu, but they kindly made it for me. Great service from the team!

Ordered a Liège Mont-Blanc and received a waffle missing the toppings promised. Staff seemed misinformed and did not pay attention to the orders placed. He made a mistake with the customer before me as well. This waffle is expensive but tasted mediocre. There are a lot more better waffles options in the city.

The seating arrangement is comfortable, with outdoor seating also available. The service is good and attentive. However, the waffles, which were highly recommended, didn’t quite live up to the hype.

To our taste, the liege waffles was undercooked. And the Belgian waffle was OK. Both were a banana split variant. The hot choco was a disappointment as it was taste so normal.

Absolutely gorgeous park and greenhouses, if you're in or around Brussels during the few weeks they're open every year, you cannot miss this! Before entering the actual greenhouses, you can pick between a 2km route or a 3km route to go through the area. We - along with many other people - went the 3km route and it could not have been more worth it, the sights are all breathtaking! The greenhouses themselves took the other half of the visit and those were also fantastic - the countless plants and flowers were really beautiful. Several paths were not accessible which was a bit unfortunate, but in my opinion completely understandable. Overall, I really could not recommend this more!

I recently visited the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Walking through the peaceful gardens and stepping into the stunning glass structures felt like entering another world. The “Ideal Glass Palace,” with its rare plants, mixed colors, enchanting smells and rich history, truly impressed me. It’s not something I’d do every spring, but I’m really glad I took the chance this year (during the 3 weeks it's accessible for the public). Absolutely worth it if you’re into plants, architecture, or just beautiful places!

A must see at least once in a lifetime ! This is a gem of the Belgian culture and history, I was totally blown away by the architecture and plants they have inside. Absolutely gorgeous!

These greenhouses are a botanical and architectural marvel, offering a magical escape among rare plants and stunning Art Nouveau structures. It's an unmissable annual experience, but I'd suggest expanding access. For a complete royal immersion, it would be extraordinary if the Royal Palace of Laeken were also opened to the public, at least occasionally. It would offer unparalleled historical and cultural insight

One of the best walks I had in my life! Please take the long promenade, there are tons of different flowers and plants. It is so beautiful, I always wanted to come but it was every year sold out, finally after 7 years I did.. I highly recommend it, also you don’t have to wait in the line, there are many toilets and don’t forget to sip a coffee in the end at the Orangerie :)

A must see if you are in Brussels and the Greenhouses happen to be open. They only open for about 3 weeks every year and you have to pre book your tickets well in advance. Beware that as soon as the online tickets become available, they are sold out in a matter of a few days. The Greenhouses are a marvel.

This a Royal Feast to the eyes!!! I've seen some other gardens by royal family but this by far is the most exclusive as it only opens 2-3 weeks per year with limited tickets available. Plan the visit during spring and enjoy the well tended garden by the King. It's also perfect day to roam around and enjoy the wide variety of plans from fruits to ornamental plants with special attention to the colorful flowers that had been beautifully manicured in the garden. Truly a must visit.

It's a lovely park. Its rating might be higher if there weren't so many runners, joggers, dog walkers, and rollerbladers. Even on a Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, the park, despite its size, was quite crowded. A solution, similar to that of Cinquantenaire Park, might be to designate specific areas for different activities, so that everyone can enjoy the park without disturbing others.

Amazing we loved it here. We rented Lime scooters just outside the park. They add a speed restriction inside the park for the safety of pedestrians but there is still very wide roads for bikes scooters and roller skates. Most of the inside of the park is blocked off to cars. Lively: there was a zumba class boxing class and bar.

It was great ! Lucky with the wether, had a very delicious waffles and ice cream from a cute Turkish man’s pick up, had our time chilling on the grass, watched a family of ducks dwelling around the lake, no cars, no gas …👍

Bois de la Cambre is spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing, walking, or enjoying a picnic with loved ones. The natural beauty, fresh air, and quiet surroundings make it a wonderful spot for families and nature lovers. We enjoyed walking around the lake and watching people cycling and boating — it was a calm and refreshing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Brussels. This place is such a lovely spot! It's like Brussels' very own green lung, perfect for a chill afternoon walk or a picnic. I love how it naturally extends into the Foret de Soignes. Just had a coffee and orange juice but it was excellent!! The place is very cozy, staff super sweet. What’s amazing? They have a kid’s corner with games and toys. Portable chargers are also available to rent, which is super helpful if you spend the day visiting. Didn’t try the food but it looks excellent as well. The kitchen looked great and very busy!

I got a chicken noodle salad and iced tea for €22.50. I think it’s a little overpriced but it was very busy in there and must be a local favourite I guess. The noodles in the salad were cold and the iced tea tasted watered down but I think I would next time try the burger as it looked a lot more filling and delicious. I would be returning to try the coffee !!

The best part of this bar/restaurant was its social aspect, many people were in there as a local meeting place. Unfortunately the beer was very poorly kept, to the point of not worth drinking. The food was canteen quality. the very nice large curved windows looked good but at his time of year let the cold air through.

I was hier at first time. I know its bar, but we wanted to take a break and get some coffee , so we went there and ordered coffee and sandwiches. Inside was very nice atmosphere! I also liked coffee a lot. Sandwiches were not perfect but still good! They have also huge menu of cocktails and other drinks! I suppose you can spend hier a good evening and have some fun.

They have introduced a payment terminal which asks for tips, you have to actively choose “no tip” if you just want to pay. This ridiculous practice can stay in the US.

I reserved 25 seats at this place to have a small party with friends. Everything went very smoothly and they helped us with everything: our cake was put in the fridge for example. I would recommend this place to everyone.

My old evening hideout as a student back in 2005-2006 whilst on my year abroad. The drinks were around €2-3 for a half litre but they were decent so I didn't mind paying the slight premium.

On a first positive note, the beers here are cheap and there is a lively experience here at night. Service is also relatively quick. I wasn’t a fan though of the uncleanliness and lack of privacy in their bathrooms and paying customers aren’t always treated with respect, in fact sometime feeling like we were second class.

Great atmosphere, great decoration and nice live music! There is not much more one could ask. I feel the place is somewhat small for the potential it has, but maybe that's part of the charm. Besides the live music on the main room, they have a second smaller kinda concert hall that I would assume it also houses live music and other activities.

I have never experienced such a terrible level of service. Waited for 30 minutes, for them to tell me that they didn’t have one of the ingredients of the dish I had ordered 30 minutes ago. Told them I still wanted it but to please discount the price for the ingredient that was not available. Had to wait another 15 minutes and still made me pay full price.

Came here for some drinks and a dessert. Had to waive to the server to clean our table and bring dessert after 10 min of sitting and him standing on the door looking at the terrace. He took the glasses, wiped the table and returned a full ashtray of cigarettes in the middle and left. We asked him if he could remove it. Ordered a Molleaux au chocolat (chocolate soufflé- a cake that is outside firm and when you slice it chocolate is melted and runny). It costs 7 euro. After 20 minutes we received something a bit bigger then a coin of 2 euros, absolutely not a chocolate soufflé and had no melted chocolate inside. But I would say a bigger issue is the size. Very disappointed and not coming back. Update: google keeps deleting my review because the owner asked to remove it, absurd. This is an honest review!

Great concert hall, always hosting hand picked musicians. The last one I have listened to here was Bear McCreary, and the atmosphere helped a lot for having an awesome experience with proper music immersion.

Best venue in Brussels, amazing sound and artists. Not so good when you're less than 1m80. When sold-out (all the time then), it is densely packed with tall Flemish people and have you be in the first rows or in the upper seats to see anything. The stage might not be high enough.

We traveled all the way from Krefeld to Brussels to see Pink Martini at Ancienne Belgique – unfortunately, we were deeply disappointed. Upon arrival at 6 PM, a young staff member told us in a rude and disinterested manner that doors wouldn’t open until 7 PM. While the timing itself was fine, his tone and attitude were completely inappropriate. Once doors opened, the crowd rushed toward the few available seats on the balcony. That area quickly became overcrowded – people were even sitting on the stairs. Emergency exits were barely visible or insufficient. The increasing pressure and lack of space made us and the guests around us feel extremely unsafe. Staff presence was nearly nonexistent during this crucial phase. No one intervened or monitored the number of people flooding the balcony, and it felt like the entire venue, including the standing area, was well beyond capacity. After waiting 90 minutes for the show to begin, we – along with others – decided to leave due to serious safety concerns. One of the women next to us even spoke to a staff member, who responded with disinterest and offered no real assistance. This experience was unacceptable for such a well-known venue. Guest safety and respectful treatment should be a top priority. Unfortunately, neither was the case here.

Great location, nice looking and clean (even during a crowded concert). However, the sound was mediocre. Also, you cannot pay with normal money for your drinks and snacks, you need to buy tokens. Which just adds an unnecessary layer of complexity. And more queues.

Great amenities, professional staff and brilliant overall! I've always had a good time. The only minus I could add is that when a concert is sold out, we are really packed like sardines. Aaand some of the people who are "packed" with me even smell like sardines, but this has nothing to do with the venue. Most people at rock concert smell like a mix of beer, sweat and existential angst, which reminds me a bit of my father. It's nice. 5/5 stars.

We as a group of Danish tourists came here two nights in a row and had a blast. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the prices were reasonable, and the service wasn't slow. If you like karaoke, you should definitely go. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Ata (think he's Spanish), in was incredibly polite, cheerful, charming and handsome. He has a beautiful voice that will melt your heart. Planning to visit there next time in Brussels!

It s always the problem with other bars in Brussels during the week you can go in quietly but once it's the weekend it's not accompanied you are made to understand that you can't go in or that your face doesn't please the security agents and that's the security phone no logic in the reasoning. It's sad that as a Brussels resident we can't even go to non-bars anymore. The prices are very high 5 euros for a coke, good for catching tourists

Chill, laid-back, steampunk-themed bar with a warm atmosphere and good service. They have a great selection of Belgian beers, including some fruit ones if you're looking to try something sweeter. There was a bodypainting exhibition going on in the back of the bar, so I'm guessing there are regular cultural/arty events. A cool place to hang out and catch up with a friend.

Dark and atmospheric bar 🍺 set inside an antique building, which gives it a really cool vibe. The beer selection is solid, though keep in mind you can only pay by card for bills over 10 EUR — so we ended up ordering two at a time. I recently visited this underground pub that was absolutely fantastic. The first thing that struck me was the great variety of beers available. There were so many different options to choose from, I could have spent hours trying them all! Additionally, the heavy metal music playing in the background added to the unique atmosphere of the place. The pub itself was like a time capsule, with vintage posters and decor that made it feel like I had stepped back in time. However, what really made the experience special was the friendly and welcoming service from the man behind the bar. He was super friendly to us and our son, which made us feel right at home. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this underground pub and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great beer selection, unique atmosphere, and friendly service. A dark cellar with a smell of being a cellar (which I really liked) I'm starting to think that this is a place for people who's into heavy/black metal music. All in all, it's a good place for a beer or five😊

Dingy basement bar with a great draft list, excellent bottle list and wonderful music playlist, if you're into rock, punk and metal. Picnic tables to sit on, trashy bathrooms, if you like this kind of place, you'll love it here and we visited often. Just a few blocks away from the grand place. They serve both fresh and aged Orval, but in Chimay glasses.

Crowded but worth it -- if you get a seat, especially. People are friendly, beer selection is awesome and local, and they have live music! Space is really interesting -- barrel vaulted ceiling made out of brick seems like it's an old cellar or catacombs converted into an underground beer bar. Nice separation of rooms means there's an intimate feeling even in a crowded space.

Incredibly cute bar/resturant. Waiters are Incredibly knowledgeble and gave us great recommendations based on our cravings. We discovered grog which is perfect for a chilly day. We went when it was raining and the outside was covered perfectly! I would definitely recommend visiting here!

After a miserable day with awful weather, I came across this well-hidden restaurant Immediately when I set foot in the restaurant, a young waitress named Ling Xi gave me a warm welcome. Not knowing what to pick, she also suggested a three-course meal, which was terrific. Not only was she very attentive to my needs, whether it was a drink or a napkin, even though the restaurant was quite full and she was running around. With this experience, the cold and the rain were forgettable. Definitely the highlight of my trip in Belgium, and if I return to Brussels, I’ll be sure to return to this restaurant and have the same level of experience.

We went for their boozy brunch and they had a live dj. The atmosphere was great and the food even better. Highly recommend for either the weekend brunch or for a weekday stop.

I did this tour because I wanted to see a bit of everything in the city. My feet were still aching from the day before. So, the tour itself I think is great. I would have not been able to see the Atrium otherwise. I was also short on time. The bus ride was good with the audio guide that adds to the fun. Though be aware as the bus is open deck , given it was close to 3/4 degree I was freezing. So I was not upstairs. At the entrance in the bus, you could take a blanket which helps alleviate the cold a bit. The bus driver was really nice as well. I enjoyed it. I was able to know a little more about the different buildings and neighborhoods. The only down side is the price. Really expensive. Nearly 30€. Booked online. If you compare with other cities, it’s a bit much.

We weren't in Brussels for very long, so decided this would be the best way to see the city, as we had done in other European cities. How wrong we were..... The audio guide didn't work so I swapped seats. It was mostly music and told us nothing about the city at all. On the rare occasions the driver announced the stops, it was when he was about to leave! And he mumbled. Overall a poor representation of your city. I very rarely write reviews, good or bad, but this experience moved me to put my feelings in writing. AVOID at all costs!!!

Don’t waste your time and money. The staff tried to pressure us into giving them good reviews even before the tour started. Half of the sound boxes that are imperative for hearing audio guide were defective as in it was impossible to plug the earphones in. No screen giving info on what our next stop is. No info over speakers, meaning no guiding. You are basically just crammed in an overcrowded bus that provides no info. While on the tour the buss crashed into an Amazon truck and had to stop of course. No information in English, only in French. No asking if we were ok. After a while we just got off and started walking away from the buss using our phones and google maps- google maps gave us more info than anything on the buss did. I wish I could have my money back.

Great way to see all the main sites in Brussels. Smooth ride even around some very tight and narrow roads. Hop on hop off allows to be able to see many places you would never get to under normal circumstances. Really good experience for tourists or newcomers to Brussels.

Had a "nice" experience there. In a private party, personnel stole my cigarettes and lighter left on the table. When asked about it, the manager's response with a sarcastic smile was "I don't smoke".

Lovely place BUT If you're not ‘Belgian enough’ , they won't let you in for ridiculous reasons. They make up excuses like "you arrived late" or "you weren't invited to event"... It's unbelievable!!!

Truly unacceptable experience. The management system at this place is a complete disgrace. We had tickets, followed the dress code, and behaved respectfully — yet were still denied entry by the rude and arrogant guards without explanation. We were a group of four: two guys and two girls. Shockingly, the girls were allowed in without issue, but the guys were turned away for no reason. How is that remotely justifiable? This kind of discriminatory and unprofessional behavior is inexcusable. It’s beyond disappointing — it’s shameful. Worst experience we’ve had anywhere. Avoid this place if you value fairness and basic respect.

Very safe night club but the music isn’t too great, bad public as well

An unpleasant and disappointing experience in the heart of Brussels. We arrived as a well-dressed, polite group with valid tickets, on time and respectful. While other guests were let in without any issue, we were unexpectedly refused entry, without any clear explanation. The only difference we could notice was that we didn’t speak fluent French, which left us with a strong feeling of being treated unfairly. Excluding guests without providing a reason creates a sense of discrimination and feels completely out of place in such an international city. For a venue in Brussels, I would expect a much more welcoming and inclusive approach. This was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had in Europe, and I hope the management takes these situations seriously and works to ensure that all guests feel treated with respect.

The place I beautiful but the staff is very unfriendly.the drinks are overpriced and the bouncers are idiots. They want you to pay them to get in and on your way out. You will pay 15€ for a single drink andd.then.you will pay each and every time 0.50€ for using the bathroom. The toilets stink and the toilet lady is unbelievable rude. This place is not recommended. The atmosphere is Boring it seems like everyone knows everyone. The location is fantastic. But be aware there are many break ins, the will destroy you car Windows to steal things.

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs I had one of the worst experiences ever at this place. The staff were blatantly disrespectful and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. What made it even worse was witnessing blatant racism—it's shocking and completely unacceptable in this day and age

Disappointed and Frustrated I went to this bar with colleagues and forgot a package. I came back a few days later to get the package, and the bartender said he saw it, but it was not there anymore. He passed me to the person "in charge" who told me that he would ask from the cleaning guys, and nothing has been heard though I called many times to the person "in charge". On top of that, there was a letter in this package with MY NAME AND ADDRESS ON IT, and yet it disappeared. It’s deeply disappointing that a business can’t even account for what happens within its own establishment. This raises real questions about their integrity and accountability. Much better was expected from any place serving the public. If this is how they treat their customers, then I would advise others to think twice before placing trust in this service.

The biers taste good! Cozy and chill. It deserves to be recommended!

Best bar in town from a Brussels student since 7 years, experience belgian bar culture and gather with some student groups, a must go for everyone who wants to try a real experience of the Belgian nights. Special thoughts for Bistouille and Gael, behind the kegs!

Literal monument of the area, a pillar of the community. Everyone is welcome, students of the university ofc but also teachers and researchers, ex-students looking to find a bit of their lost youth. The Gauguin has it all! Impeccable atmosphere of a traditional brussellers café, you can find beers,cocktails and coffee for a reasonable price. No real " food " to speak of but chips, the usual cheese and smoked sausage will make sure you are spending a cozy afternoon/evening drinking with good friends.

One of this neighbourhood's greats, especially on the braderie weekend*. I love a horseshoe bar to prop up And it is!

By far my favorite local bar (and boy there are plenty). Le Gauguin is a calm local bar with a very nice vibe and very affordable prices. There are students and older locals. The bartender is great, very polite but also very bar tender. This is definitely the bar I will come for beers.
