Cuisine Wat Damnak, a gem in Siem Reap, is celebrated for its innovative approach to traditional Khmer cuisine. Under the expert guidance of Chef Joannes Riviere, this restaurant artfully blends locally sourced ingredients with contemporary French techniques. The menu changes every two weeks, offering diners a unique tasting experience that showcases the best of Cambodian flavors. Set in a charming wooden house surrounded by lush greenery and local artwork, the ambiance is both romantic and inviting.
A TRULY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE! We initially made a reservation mistake by booking the day after we actually intended to visit. The front desk made us aware of this and noted they could still accommodate us. The property is beautiful with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails were delicious and the meal was something we will remember for years to come (we selected both the meat-based and vegetarian-based menu selections). This experience truly elevated our trip in Cambodia and made for a very special evening. Thank you to the entire front- and back-of-house staff!!!

Had a great experience here — the service was excellent, drinks were well-crafted, and the tasting menu was definitely interesting. I enjoyed some dishes more than others, but really appreciated the creativity and the nod to Khmer heritage. Definitely worth recommending.

Perfect in every way! We ordered one of each tasting menu. Every dish was creative, beautifully presented and included a wonderful blend of tastes.
Pam F — Google review
The experience we needed! The food was delicious, I had the vegetarian menu and I should say, chefs in Europe have to learn from this… not the usual vegetarian ingredients, but delicious surprising flavors! I really enjoyed it! The service was very good and the place is not that expensive if you consider the level of the service and food. Highly recommended!
Francesca L — Google review
For me the flavours really hit nicely. Maybe lacking in a little animal protein. The only miss for the night was the cocktail. I ordered the ginger martini and the flavours tasted muddled instead of the clean crisp flavours you expect from a martini.

During our visit to Siem Reap, my husband and I dined at Cuisine Wat Damnak, renowned as Cambodia’s first restaurant to feature in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Despite a branch in Phnom Penh, we chose the Siem Reap location for its distinguished recognition. Reservation: We booked several days in advance through the restaurant’s website, accessible via their Google Maps listing. Upon arrival, the restaurant was fully booked, highlighting the importance of early reservations. Dining Experience: We selected the 8-course tasting menu at $45 per person; a vegetarian option was available at $38. Beverages were charged separately. The dinner lasted about two hours. While not every dish suited our tastes, we appreciated the innovative flavor combinations and the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Service: The service was impeccable, with staff demonstrating extensive knowledge of each dish and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Final Thoughts: As enthusiasts of fine dining, we prioritize visiting top-rated restaurants in every city we explore. Our visit to Cuisine Wat Damnak in Siem Reap was a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend it to those seeking a unique culinary experience in Cambodia. Special thanks to ChatGPT for the recommendation; it truly enhanced our journey.

Wow! This was an incredible experience! The chefs carefully crafted each dish to develop a complex yet balanced masterpiece. Each course was unique and brought out the unique flavours of Cambodian cuisine with a touch of French mastery! Overall, this was our favourite restaurant and we have been to others, such as the Embassy Khmer Gastronomy, which was more expensive and tasted so much worse. We really recommend it and the price justifies the amazing dishes! You will feel very full at the end. This is on par with one Michelin star restaurant.

When exploring the vibrant town of Siem Reap, a visit to Embassy Khmer Gastronomy is an experience you simply cannot miss. Much like witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over Angkor Wat or capturing a moment at Ta Prohm, dining here should be on your must-do list. This intimate restaurant boasts an all-female staff who craft and serve a monthly changing tasting menu that highlights the exquisite flavors of Khmer fine-dining cuisine.
Had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Embassy Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making us feel so welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening. 1) The tasting menu was a true journey through Khmer cuisine. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with rich, unique flavors. 2) The cocktails were top-notch too! They were creative, balanced, and paired perfectly with the food. 3) The ambiance was simply stunning, with elegant décor and a calm, refined atmosphere that made the night feel extra special. 4) The overall concept of the place was amazing. From the pre-dinner lounge with local street food bites to the chef’s personal introductions, it felt more like a curated cultural experience than just a meal. Highly recommend if you’re in Siem Reap and want something truly special. A must-visit!

What an incredible discovery! This dinner was a true culinary journey. It had been a very long time since a meal had left me so amazed. Every dish brought a genuine “wow” of excitement, surprise, and delight. A memorable gastronomic experience from beginning to end. It all begins with creative street-food-style amuse-bouches, served while relaxing in cosy lounge chairs. Then comes a perfectly cooked egg, enjoyed right in the kitchen—a delightful behind-the-scenes moment. Finally, you're invited to the table for the rest of the meal, each course more refined and inventive than the last. Only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients were used, which made each dish feel authentic, seasonal, and full of flavor. The service was exceptional: every member of the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and warm, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. A unique culinary and human experience I won’t soon forget.

I’m not sure how this doesn’t have 5* in reviews! Everything was absolutely incredible. From the setting, to the service and the food. The setting is perfect, it’s a fun but classy design to the restaurant. The service was amazing, all the ladies were so friendly and lovely, we had a baby with us and they all offered to hold him so we could enjoy our dinner. The food, was some of the best food we’ve had, every course was bursting with flavour. There was a story/information behind every course which all added to the evening. One of the best overall dining experiences and a must visit in Siem Reap!

Amazing venue to have a specially curated dinner, mixing western and khmer food into various wonderful courses. Celebrated my wife's birthday here and the food and service did not disappoint. The ambience was beautiful and there many photo taking spots in this restaurant as it's amazing at night. Thank you to the amazing all-ladies crew in making my wife's birthday an amazing and memorable experience.
Arjunan E — Google review
My husband arranged a meal here for my birthday during ourholiday in Siem Reap. What is unique about this restaurant is that it is run entirely by women both in the kitchen and front of house. The chef uses local seasonal ingredients for the entire menu. We were greeted with drinks and offered an amuse bouche. We were then invited to the kitchen to meet the team where we had another small dish. After this, we sat down in the main dining area for the rest of the meal. The food was phenomenal from the start. It showcased the best that the local area could offer and the portions were just right. The staff were so friendly and attentive. They offered a special birthday surprise at the end. They also give their diners some macaroons to take home to continue the experience. These were made from cashews - again focussing in on the Cambodian theme. If you want a Cambodian fine dining experience then restaurant is a must to visit. It is Michelin star quality without the price tag, if not better than some of the Michelin star restaurants I have been to! Definitely worth it!
Rehana C — Google review
Honestly this was better than 1 and 2 star Michelin restaurants that I have been to, hands down! Everything from the service, atmosphere, explanation of the food, presentation, staff, ingredients, and the dishes. I did not have a dish that was so so, every single plate was amazing! This will be a future Michelin chef, no doubt. If you are here and want incredible, authentic Cambodian dishes made with local ingredients, GO HERE!

Incredible dining experience at the Embassy Gastronomy! I felt so attended to and accommodated as someone who doesn’t eat meat. The place is owned and run by women! I loved the experience so much and highly recommend. A big thank you to Sambath who took care of me the entire evening. The food and drinks were amazing!

✨ The best fine dining experience in Siem Reap! ✨ It’s more than just a dinner – it’s a true culinary journey. From the amuse-bouche to the final mignardises, every bite was flawless. Having lived in Cambodia for over 10 years, I can say this was the most exceptional gastronomic experience I’ve ever had here. What makes it truly unique is the meticulous attention to detail – down to the perfectly presented macaron box you take home at the end. Congratulations to Chef Kimsan and her team for creating such a memorable and refined experience. Absolutely outstanding! 🙏

Nestled in the heart of Siem Reap, Malis Restaurant stands out as a culinary gem that beautifully showcases the rich flavors of Cambodian cuisine. Renowned for its exquisite curries and traditional dishes, this restaurant also delights diners with an impressive array of desserts. Indulge in local favorites like jasmine-infused mousse paired with crunchy rice or young palm fruit simmered in coconut milk alongside refreshing coconut jelly and vanilla ice cream.
We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant and I’d like to thank our server for his attentiveness. He kindly informed us that we were over-ordering, as the dishes are essentially family-sized. This was much appreciated — we did end up ordering more than we could finish, so his guidance was spot on. The food itself was exceptional. I have to say the fish amok was the best I’ve ever had, and everything else we tried was equally impressive. My friend especially loved one of the beef dishes, and the seafood fried rice was delicious. The cocktails were also unique — I particularly enjoyed a gin and celery juice combination. As it happened to be my friend’s birthday, the restaurant kindly provided a dessert platter, which was amazing. Overall, the combination of attentive service, outstanding food, and thoughtful gestures made for a memorable dining experience.

Will return. 11:30am, we were the only table. People start to streaming in at 12. Chinese pop songs are being played – not Hong Kong pop, which I consider it more sophisticated. The high ceiling decor is elegant and sophisticated. I love the intricate and symmetrical lattice wood works. Great service and delicious clay pots: tofu and bamboo soup, which is the most delicious, light and flavorful. It’s the best among all the soups I’ve had on this tour so far. We would lunch at their Phnom Penh 金边 a few days later. Comparing the two, I like this one far better.

The food here is outstanding. Authentic Cambodian flavors, unlimited rice, and great set menus. A little pricier than most, but worth it for the quality and experience. Convenient location near my hostel too!
Niskie F — Google review
Malis Restaurant in downtown Siem Reap certainly presents itself as an establishment catering to a mid-to-upper price range, which is understandable given its location and ambiance. However, the overall experience didn't entirely align with this expectation. While I appreciate having this level of dining option in the neighborhood, certain aspects left room for improvement, especially considering the cost. One notable area was the comfort of the dining environment. Despite the price point, the restaurant felt surprisingly warm, which detracted from the overall experience, particularly in Siem Reap's climate. Additionally, the level of hospitality, while polite, felt somewhat basic compared to other restaurants in a similar price bracket. Simple touches like a waitress proactively pouring water, which are often standard in this range, were noticeably absent. Regarding the food itself, I opted for the recommended scallops and the Amok Fish. While the dishes were presented adequately, the flavors felt rather mediocre, especially when considering the price. The taste didn't quite justify the cost, and I was left feeling that the quality needs to be elevated to truly match the restaurant's pricing and perceived target audience. While I commend the effort to offer a higher-end dining experience, some refinements are needed to fully meet those expectations.
Yanly R — Google review
I went to Malis for breakfast and really enjoyed it. For just $9 net, you get a free-flow option where you can order from the entire breakfast menu from Cambodian dishes to Western classics, plus fresh juice, tea, and coffee. The atmosphere feels elegant with a modern Cambodian design, and there’s even a charming little garden seating area at the back. A great spot to start the morning.
Pros N — Google review
A very ‘special occasion’ restaurant - but who needs a special occasion! Just come and treat yourself - it’s really not that expensive, you deserve a treat and the food is really good! As are the designs, layout and general ambience. I would have given you 5 stars but the Morning Glory was tough, thick, stringy, undercooked, not fresh and had little / no leaf to speak of. Check out Sokkhak River Restaurant’s Morning Glory & take notes. Also, the restaurant was too hot until they turned on large fans, on request. Proper air conditioning would be more welcome. The atmosphere was lacking customers (we were one of only two couples (again, check out your competition & find out why - as they are busy).

Been to Mali’s a few times on my trip. Excellent, upscale space next to the river - meaning it’s easy to get in and out. Food is excellent. Kulen pig is crispy outside and tender juicy inside. Samlor Korko Pork is super flavorful. Service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

Vegetarian restaurant
Banlle Vegetarian Restaurant, which means "vegetable" in Khmer, is a charming farm-to-table eatery housed in a renovated wooden building. The restaurant offers an array of affordable European and Cambodian vegetarian and vegan dishes for breakfast and lunch. Guests can enjoy the minimalist dining room with garden views or take a tour of the compact organic urban farm.
We love this restaurant gem! We tried it on our first dinner in SR and ate in the very intimate and pretty garden - the food was delicious! Went again for the lunch menu and there are so many options for vegan, well listed on the menus, and again the food was excellent, will definitely come back! 👌 Tofu salad is so excellent and first time we taste such a good salad sauce in Asia, and all the other dishes were very tasty!
Anne J — Google review
Amazing restaurant, with great staff and even better food. The portions are rather large hence I’d recommend one main per person. The pad Thai was really nice but it was so much food, highly recommended it. French onion soup was amazing!
Augustas J — Google review
I ordered the Spaghetti with Smoked Dry Mushroom. It was so good & creamy. I really enjoyed it. However, as I was dining outdoor, it was really hard to call for the waitress. But she was quick to come when I finished my meal, to clear the dishes. I didn't even call for her. Service could have been better.

Outstanding vegan food! The best I had in Cambodia. Everything is super fresh, delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. The waitresses are very nice and observant. I came here twice during my stay and would’ve come more often, if I had just found it earlier. Vegan variantions of Khmer food are absolutely amazing!

I loved the food here! I ordered mushroom lok lak for myself and Khmer curry for my mom and we both enjoyed our meals! The serving sizes are more than enough for one person and the prices are great, too! We also ordered juice which I thought was just okay

The best restaurant I’ve been to in Cambodia! Delicious food, extremely friendly staff, and a spotless, clean ambiance (even the kitchen, which you could easily see, was very clean) I highly recommend this place. I stayed in Siem Reap for 5 days and had both lunch and dinner here every single day!
Daniel G — Google review
WOW!!! The menu is so varied and everything looks amazing! We had lasagna and loklak and we loveddddd them! The staff were very kind and the place is so cute and designed beautifully. And prices are ridiculous compared to normal.
Shaked K — Google review
I had my first every meal in Cambodia here. I had a good impression on my first dining experience that I ended up coming back here the second time. I never had Khmer cuisine before coming to Cambodia, and also had limited knowledge. I did some research prior to this trip, searched through menus of local vegetarian and vegan restaurants. As Siem Reap was my first stop, this one stood out as it had quite a handful of vegan versions of well-known Khmer dishes beyond lok lak and amok (which I could also easily find at non-vegetarian restaurants). For my first night/visit, I ordered the traditional Khmer prahok ktis. This came with a bowl of white rice, which I found wasn't enough - so I requested a second bowl one I finished that. The prahok ktis consisted of small tofu cubes in fermented sauce, and was paired with Thai/green eggplants, cucumbers, green beans, lettuce, and cabbage. I really liked this dish despite my lack of experience consuming this dish. On my second visit, I went with one other person, who isn't vegetarian nor vegan, but liked this restaurant. I had the Khmer korko and the Battambang orange mimosa. I found the drink refreshing and it's nice to have non-alcoholic mocktail options. The korko was good too, with some roasted sticky rice, lemongrass and vegetables in it. Served with rice as well. There were indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit indoors as I wanted air conditioning. And it was quiet too. Service was decent.

Nestled in Siem Reap, Butterfly Pea Restaurant is a hidden gem offering a romantic ambiance and tropical garden views. Guests can savor classic Cambodian dishes and other Asian cuisine options for lunch or dinner. The restaurant provides the choice to dine in the garden, a traditional Cambodian wooden house, or an air-conditioned dining area. With its beautiful styling and magical atmosphere, Butterfly Pea Restaurant offers a unique dining experience.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! I tried their Cambodian traditional set menu, and it was really good. It started with a warm and tasty pumpkin soup, followed by a big plate filled with several traditional Cambodian dishes for me to try – The dessert was also good, but I forgot the name. Overall, the service was very professional, and I really enjoyed my time there. Highly recommend it if you want to experience local food in a comfortable setting!

There are some very nice restaurants in Siem Reap city but my favorite restaurant is Butterfly Pea Restaurant. They serve us the best food and beautiful style, the waiter and waitress are professional, humble, friendly and nice. The restaurant is in good location and the environment is very good and clean. It is so peaceful place to have your meals.
Angkorwat Y — Google review
Make sure to visit Butterfly Pea on your next visit to Siem Reap! It’s a beautiful restaurant in a traditional Khmer wooden house, serving flavorful and filling dishes - you won’t be disappointed! A short walk no more than 5-10 minutes from my hotel, the Butterfly Pea had long been on my list of places to try while in Siem Reap. As I was visiting in May, well into low season, it has became clear that very often I would be dining alone, often the sole individual at an establishment with seating to serve dozens (or hundreds, as last nights adventure showed me). So, as I approached the restaurant, a nice lady was sitting at a host station and quickly rose to show me inside and to a table. Together we strolled down a stone path through a flourishing garden and into a courtyard / outdoor bar area, and ascended a staircase to the second floor and went inside to the upper seating area. A large part of my desire to dine at the Butterfly Pea was to experience one of the very last remaining traditional Khmer wooden houses in the city. The traditional Khmer wooden house does not disappoint, it ‘felt’ local, authentic, even homey side. After spending so much time at the resort I was staying at, the Butterly Pea is exactly what I needed. The building was just cool, tastefully decorated in a combination of natural wood and bold colors, textured wall paper and shiplap, red and gold table cloths, turquoise beams, I could go on and on. Service was excellent, everyone in Cambodia is so incredibly welcoming and friendly, and this place is no exception. Everyone from the host to the servers was polite and very friendly, and made me feel right at home. Having previewed the menu online, I already know what I was planning to order. I had decided to try the vegetarian spring rolls, and the eggplant and tofu main course. Their staff promptly took my order, and brought out my drinks and a small hors d’oeuvres. I must say, the food was great. Fresh, excellent presentation, and delicious. The spring rolls were light and refreshing, especially on this exceptionally hot day. The main course, perfect prepared Tofu with a very flavorful eggplant. Spicy red peppers (which I quite enjoyed) gave the dish an unexpected yet welcome twist. Comforting, filling, and tasty. Pik Komsoth was really nice to talk to, and even taught me some Cambodian phrases and words to use during my trip!

The extensive menu and the cafe's commitment to The Good Vibe Foundation, which provides meals for children in need around Cambodia, make it a must-visit spot. Located on 715 Street near the Children's Hospital, Vibe offers health-conscious vegan and plant-based choices.
Love the healthy menu! I had breakfast here and I came back two days later for lunch. The cappuccino was not the best I’ve ever had (they use home made vegan milk, but I prefer regular milk or soy milk for my cappuccino), but my partner loved the local craft beer.

We visited this place three times, the food is amazing as well as service. Instagram addicts will love the smoothie bowls (not only because of taking pics). The burgers are delicious, but on our third visit it was dry, the patty was burned and the sweet potato fries came cold. Anyway I will recommend this place to any vegan or healthy food lover.

Great coffee place for vegeterian, vegans or people trying to eat healthy. The food was really good and the staff very nice. They have raw vegan desserts, energy balls, smoothie bowls... and the portions are big. The coffee is only at 1$ everyday in July, don't miss it! They even have homemade cashew milk!

The food looks delicious, but I didn’t like the taste... especially the raw zucchini pasta. It shall be named as “pasta salad” or “ cold pasta”, otherwise it really disappointed me when I had the first bite and noticed that it was cold. Pasta should be a hot dish!!!

A real gem I was not expected to find in Cambodia. The interior design is really instagramable and all that is topped by their fully vegan menu. Only thing is that the prices are a bit higher compared to other Cambodian eateries but definitely worth it. Can only recommend.

Had a burger and a bowl. Good range of vegan foods and smoothies. The food was excellent. Service was particularly slow, but this was due to a very, very large table near me on that night, so letting that one slide.

Best place to enjoy health vegan food with variety of options. There food is organically sourced, nutritious and health focused. The Amazonian Acai bowl, quinoa porridge and nutty toast are must try in the cafe. Definitely my favourite cafe in Cambodia.

High quality vegan food that was definitely tasty. Beautiful setting and we ate here a few times during our 5 day stay. We enjoyed the ritual bowl, the tacos and their cacao bowl.

Pou Restaurant and Bar in Siem Reap offers a unique dining experience with its innovative Cambodian cuisine and expertly crafted cocktails. Chef Mengly's reimagined street food and Khmer family-style dishes, such as the num ban chok with local crab meat and the catfish with tamarind sauce, showcase a blend of traditional flavors and modern presentation.
Got the chicken and fish, and it was really good and tasteful. The waiter was nice. We had a mango sticky rice for dessert for sharing and that was perfect for us. A bit expensive, but you get quality for the money you pay.

It’s next to a big road which makes a lot of sound. We were seated next to the road. When we entered there were was only one other table right next to us. In the beginning there was normal music but it changed quickly to weird Korean pop rock music which was very loud. The waitress was quite slow and the food came out slowly as well. The beehive wasn’t crunchy it was very soggy. I also got the crab 🦀 rice noodles, it had a lot of shell in it and overall tasted shitty. The crab 🦀 looked like that as well. My husband had the vegetable curry which was really tasty. We had the dumplings as well I think you can get better at the street. The presentation of the food was really nice but the taste not. We prefer the latter to be better.

Cambodian cuisine in modern style. High level of service, good advice to choose the best type of meal. The dishes were tasty, portions of medium size. Artistic appearance of ordered meals. Chilling vibe. We paid for the meal by card.

Found this place because it was really close to our hotel. We were the only people there for lunch but I’m glad we stayed! We got the pomelo salad, dumplings with a beetroot purée and a veggie curry cake and they were all excellent! Beautifully presented too!

This is a hidden gem: it's not in the tourist center, but close to the Angkor National museum. The chef is award-winning, and the menu is very creative, while being reasonably priced (two main courses and two special juice mixes costed $20). On top of that they take credit cards. Our only regret was that we found it on our very last day in Siem Reap.
Galina O — Google review
This place was totally amazing! Modern dishes with traditional khemer tastes and ingredients. The beet-galangal sauce for the fries was incredibly good. I also had the five spice pork belly noodles which was so delicious. We got to speak with the owner, and he was so friendly and welcoming. One of our most memorable meals from siem reap, don't miss it!

After researching the cooking classes in Siem Reap Pou Restaurant and Bar cooking class was highly recommended for an authentic class in Siem Reap traditional Khmer cuisine. I was picked up from my hotel in a TukTuk, then we went to the Phsar Leu Market, which was incredible. The class was well organised when we arrived with all the ingredients, equipment and utensils read to start the class. English was at a very high standard and everything was professionally and beautifully organised from start to finish. The food was fantastic, and so far it has been the culinary highlight of my trip to Siem Reap. I received the recipes via email to make again in the future. A well priced, value for money, thoughtful and beautiful experience at one of Siem Reaps most respected restaurants.

Very elegant cafe with bakery items and a large coffee and tea selection. The gelato looked amazing and had vegan sorbet for only $2 USD. Drinks are expensive at $4 but service and selection make it worth it.

Beautiful cafe with a great selection of pastries and baked treats! I have visited several times, as I find it to be a very cozy place to hangout and I really enjoyed both their sweet and savory items! One of the meals I had was the beef burger, which was amazing! I have also had their homemade ice creams, which are also very special! I recommend the mango and strawberry flavors if you end up getting yourself some. Nonetheless a great spot in the city!

This place is amazing!! Honestly, a 5 star rating isn't good enough. Definitely 10 out of 10. Everything about this establishment is impeccable. The atmosphere, the staff, the cleanliness, and the of course....the food. I have read some reviews that said the prices were too high. They are a bit higher than most restaurants, but you get what you pay for. You WILL NOT find food of this quality cheap...anywhere. Honestly, its not that expensive if you compare it to a nice restaurant in the west. The meal I had was a 15 course meal for $28. It is called High Tea. Back in the states, a meal like that would probably be about $75 to $100, depending on the city. For me, back home, I would probably never eat a meal of that quality. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend spending a little more than your average restaurant here in Siem Reap and giving it a try for yourself.

Nice sandwiches and ice cream. Service was very good. Prices were a little premium but it was well worth as the cafe was comfortable to chill on a warm day.

Best brunch in town, the free flow breakfast is really good, with great choice of dishes and the buffet on Sunday morning. Book a little in advance on Sunday. I wouldn’t be able to mention a dish that is less good than another, everything is really really yummy. LOVE the egg Benedict though! They also have nice choices of cakes, good cheeses and cold cuts to take away. The bread is among the best in town, same for the chocolatines and croissants and basically all of their pastries.

Went for the BBQ Party with live music and had an amazing evening with plenty of food options and very well presented desserts. The musician duo played Khmer and international songs and their voices were stunning. Very attentive service, delicious food and beautiful setup made it an evening we will remember always.

I’m rating this on the free flow breakfast. It’s priced at 10++ which means there is a service charge plus some other Charge I don’t remember, which comes to about $14. Growing up my parents had a donut shop, and we had fresh baked croissants all the time and I have to say, this is the best croissant I’ve ever had. As soon as you walk in, the whole place smells of a butter…yum! They have lots of menu options, and I’ve attached the menu offerings. The service is impeccable! I’m giving this rating of 4 stars just based on value, as I don’t think I would spend $14 for this breakfast again and don’t think I can $14 worth of croissants in the future haha Enjoy

Great experience & Food. 5* Sunday Brunch : Quality, mostly imported Ingredients (French Butter & Cheese, Cold cuts) so hard to challenge the ever increasing now net $16/person price tag for the free flow Sunday Brunch. Good and kind service, manager and its staff make you feel very welcome. The Bread and Viennoiserie are the best quality in town. The Chocolate Eclair to die for. Tx!

The food was very delicious. I wish there was more selection. There isn't really a lot of vegetarian options. They due have some unique dishes, like wellington. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality of food is better.

I eat regularly at both Khema locations in Phnom Penh and this location is deeply disappointing. Even though the price for the free flow breakfast is $2 more (@$12USD) and $5 more than a similar offering at sister restaurant Malis, the quality of food is akin to what you would get at a budget guesthouse while the offering compared to their other locations is paltry. As you can see by the photos the eggs are overcooked every time, even when poached while the hollandaise sauce is heavy like glue and incredibly salty. It's very clear there is a lack of knowledge of cooking western breakfast Thalias is a good institution so I'm sure this location will improve over time but there is much need for improvement to offer value for money. My first experience was a deep disappointment.

Nestled near Wat Bo temple, The Veg ''G'' Table Cafe offers a tranquil and laid-back atmosphere in a secluded garden. Chef-owner Goulven Lego, also known as G, brings 19 years of experience from London kitchens to his holistic farm-to-table approach. Emphasizing bold and natural flavors, the restaurant prides itself on serving the "funkiest vegetarian food in town.
I hardly know where to begin with this place. The chef is more magician than cook for one. The entire menu is vegan friendly (minus the duck egg), and he sacrifices NOTHING in taste or quality. Not being vegan, I always hold my breath when trying a vegan “burger” or other traditional recreations. His burger went to the top of my all time list of burgers. The chef himself has a great sarcastic personality which truly works to add charm and comfort. Sporting only 5 tables, you get a truly intimate experience while he cooks fresh to order right in front of you. I could have eaten here for every meal and I wish I had. Portions are amazing and the food is so well priced, you might want to order extra just to try. SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! This will be remembered as one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and it’s a combination of the food, the price, the personality and the atmosphere. It all comes together as an amazing experience.

Great place if you are craving for an epic burger! We ordered couple of dishes, I would also recommend lentil salad and fritters. Had a pleasure to meet the owner/chef who explained the menu and greeted with a smile. Half of the dishes are vegan. Good job, would love to come back again!
Monika M — Google review
Excellent vegetarian and vegan burgers! I tried their signature beetroot burger and was thoroughly impressed! It was well worth the price and was extremely filling and well prepared/presented. The sweet potato fries were to die for, and it was refreshing to have them so well cooked, as most of the time restaurants prepare them and they end up soggy. These were crisp and not overly salty. The restaurant owner was a great guy abd we had a good chat. They have nice contemporary music, and a small indoor section if you don't prefer to sit outside. The only down side was that the tin beer was 1.50 usd. Where a lot of places sell for 1 dollar.

Park Hyatt Siem Reap is an elegant property offering 104 upscale rooms, including suites with private gardens or swimming pools. Despite being centrally located, guests can enjoy a tranquil retreat within walking distance of the city's attractions. The hotel features two swimming pools and a luxurious spa for ultimate relaxation. Additionally, visitors can indulge in the chic Cambodian restaurant and cocktail bar, which offers evening happy hours with discounted drinks in a beautiful courtyard setting.
I arrived super early at around 6 a.m., and the hotel was kind enough to let me check in early — which I really appreciated! During my stay, everything was smooth and pleasant. The staff were always friendly and quick to help with anything I needed. The traditional Khmer food served at the hotel was also really tasty. The Khmer dishes at the Dining Room were full of flavor and beautifully presented. On the night I dined there, I was lucky to catch a traditional Khmer dance performance, which was super fun and a new experience for me. The dining area itself is lovely, with a great view of the courtyard. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they gave me a fantastic seat with a great view — I really appreciated that! The Living Room has a different vibe — it’s more of an indoor space, but the pink-themed decor is absolutely beautiful. I didn’t have a full meal there, but I did enjoy the complimentary drinks after dinner. Even though I was just there for a short time, the atmosphere was still really nice and relaxing. After a long day of sightseeing, it always felt great to come back to such a welcoming place — it truly felt like home. I’d definitely love to stay here again the next time I visit Siem Reap!

Wow, where do I even begin. This may possibly be the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The staff are beyond exceptional, they are incredibly kind, generous, humble, proactive, beautiful and just downright some of the friendliest people I have ever come across. The hotel is beautiful, and it's located in such a great spot, you're only a few minutes walk from so many local amazing restaurants, markets, etc, and I am genuinely so sad to be leaving. The food is incredible, we had breakfast each day at the dining room and the pastries, salads, fruit, etc have all been absolutely incredible, everything has so much flavour, it all tastes so fresh and the staff are so unbelievably attentive, we have felt like royalty the entire time. The housekeeping staff are also wonderful, and so incredibly hardworking, there has also been numerous times that we have been left snacks, goodies, fruit, etc in our rooms which is so lovely. I would recommend this hotel and Cambodia to everyone I know and will do so for the rest of my life, I would move here if I could. If you are considering travelling to Cambodia and staying at this hotel, I urge you to do so, because I honestly can say this has been one of the most rewarding, special holidays of my life, and I absolutely hope I get to come back again.

Bad service, bad experience. If you want an honest review, it is way overpriced for the area. That is, rooms, tours, food, drinks…etc. The services were average at best. Food was not good. It was bland, mealy, and not fresh. Water pressure was low. Air conditioning controls did not adjust well. Items did not work in the room and around the property. Many areas need refurbishing. The gym is small compared to photos. They do not have complimentary transportation, which most hotels in the area do. Staff are not aware of benefits and features. They repeatedly got questions and requests wrong. It was disappointing, given the premium category. Management and staff do not understand quality service. They come across as self-centered and insincere. Service seemed forced, fake and greedy. Unfortunately, it is not “five star” as claimed. It fell far below expectations.

Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service from every person who works here was incredible, they make it so you don’t have to lift a finger. The breakfast is delicious and decadent. The rooms are so comfortable and very well laid out. Come for dinner here, The Dinner and Environment is spectacular. The traditional show is captivating. The real highlight is the hospitality and friendliness of a wonderful sister , Ms. Borey. During dinner She treated us like a family. She Definitely elevated the dinner experience.

Hotel is a decent upscale hotel, rooms are nice, bathrooms & showers are nice. However I'm leaving with a sour taste in my mouth because the hotel charges a "service fee" (tip) on everything. Tours booked through them, transportation, spa services, etc. That might be fine if they told you, but we didn't know until in check out, and in the meantime we had given cash tips to drivers, tour guides, massage therapists, etc. I want my money back! It's such a scam, typical for this country 😤 I wouldn't come back, despite the good customer service. It's too annoying, the staff should have simply refused my tips and informed me that it was already included. So dishonest.

We recently stayed two nights at Park Hyatt Siem Reap and the experience was simply outstanding. The service might be the best and most attentive we have ever received—every staff member was professional, warm, and genuinely made us feel completely spoiled. A special mention goes to Vivi and Kin, whose care and attentiveness truly stood out. We also loved the hotel’s unique evening ritual and the traditional performance, which added a special cultural touch to the stay. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a refined atmosphere, and the facilities are excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were memorable, with high quality and thoughtful presentation. This stay has elevated my appreciation of the Park Hyatt brand (and Hyatt overall) to a new level. I would strongly recommend Park Hyatt Siem Reap to anyone visiting Siem Reap—you will not be disappointed.

This place was busy when i got there around 9am. Looks like a lot of local people. I know people were raving about the duck noodle soup but I really wanted to try kuy teav. The broth was very flavorful! They gave a lot of noodles. The meat was tender that it was falling off the bone.

A very popular restaurant for Cambodian either local or tourists from other provinces. My best menu here and I would recommend it is "yellow noodles with duck meat and dumplings". The earlier you go the better because it is always busy at this restaurant. Car parking is always a challenge though.

Hidden behind some parked cars, we discovered this restaurant just outside the center. Mainly frequented by locals, it exudes a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The menu is available online, and the staff assisted us with translations. The personnel are friendly and attentive. We ordered: - Wanda noodles with duck meat -Wantan noodle with roasted soup My friend and I had the most delicious meal in Siem Reap at this restaurant. We highly recommend it. The prices are good, and you get a generous portion.

Come on, how can you beat a good roasted duck wonton noodle soup for $2.50👍👍 FYI this place closed after lunch for few hours before opening again for dinner check the hours before coming over. Guess how we figured that out 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m surprised at the quality of the roasted duck, crispy skin and flavorful meat, I was bit disappointed by the only 1 wonton in the bowl. The noodles were nice and chewy too.

This place close at noon everyday. Duck and pork noodles by 11am. The time opening here is wrong. Do come early. This place is where the rich, the monks, the policemen and every local breakfast bar. Portion is massive for $3.50 a bowl. They have the fresh roast duck. Meaty too. Better quality meat than i-Hong restaurant. Mix pork and duck noodles is also delicious. Big piece of ribs, liver, meatballs, giblets….. all sorts. Avoid beef stew noodles. Too sweet and sugary. Not good for diabetics. The one dish left after 11am when every good dish sold out. They don’t accept bad condition US dollar. But when they give you change, they give you the bad condition ones that elsewhere won’t accept. Beware!

Artillery is a trendy and stylish cafe with branches in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The cafe boasts a retro design and an attractive outdoor courtyard, making it a favorite spot for visitors. It offers a wide range of conceptual vegan dishes, although the food quality can be inconsistent at times. The menu features vegan brunch favorites such as avocado sourdough toast with dukkah spice mix and chia coconut parfait.
Yesterday we had lunch at artillery. We really liked the stuff, they were very polite and attentive. They have very good and also veggie food (rather western style). We really liked that you can create your own healthy Bowl out of a large selection of delicious ingredients. Besides they have also sweet stuff, which we unfortunately didn’t try.

Wonderful, filling and healthy food. (Dish pictured is the sesame falafel) Poke bowl was awesome too. This café has been our go-to at least once a day. They also have happy hour for their wine and fresh takes on gin & tonics ($2.50!) using quality gin and ingredients. Their lattes are so yum, their coconut milk must be much closer to the real stuff than used in US cafés. Their mission is applaudable as well: reusable straws, local ingredients, and minimal plastic. It’s a little hard to find on the street, I walk past it almost every time, *still*. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem!

Incredibly tasty cauliflower cous cous salad. All ingredients were fresh and I got a side of chicken with mine also as im a Savage 😁 only small critique would be that the side chicken order could have done with a little more chicken for the 2dollars extra I paid I'd say it was only half of one fillet. Coffee was great and very well presented. To top it off I got a lovely free appetizer as a surprise as I waited for my meal, very tasty too. Staff are very friendly and a nice chill atmosphere with mellow music quietly playing in the background. I would highly recommend.

This 4.5-star hotel offers a range of amenities including 4 restaurants, a lobby bar, spa services, a gym, and an outdoor pool. Centrally located, it provides easy access to popular attractions such as Angkor Wat and Pub Street. Guests can indulge in massages and body treatments at the on-site spa or enjoy the spacious and comfortable rooms with friendly staff always ready to assist.
The whole experience deserves a 5 star review. The service, hospitality, and level of security was way better than another 5 star hotel in the city. Will definitely choose Regency again if I ever travel back.

Very beautiful hotel. Comfortable. Clean. Staff are excellent and extremely polite and obliging. Try massage attendant number 71. She is so good!! Some of the plugs in the room did not work. Not all the TV channels are accessible and the aircon could not be adjusted. Excellent buffet food. Very happy with fruit selections: dragon fruit, pineapple, papaya, watermelon 🍉
Rosita S — Google review
Nice 3-day stay at Regency Angkor Hotel. Smooth check-in, friendly and helpful staff who arranged my room near the conference hall. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. Breakfast had great variety, and the pool area was big and relaxing. A bit far from the city centre, so finding Halal food meant a short tuk-tuk ride. The gym could use better maintenance and a few small upgrades. Still, a pleasant hotel with warm service and great value overall.

This is a comfortable historic hotel in the heat of Siem Reap very near Angkor Wat. Common areas and rooms are beautiful. Rooms are very clean and well stocked with essential supplies. Air conditioning cools guest room exceptionally well. Pool area is spectular. Buffet breakfast is very good with a large selection of iteems, both Eastern and Western dishes. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Spa and gym areas nice.

This is a wonderful experience staying in the hotel. They offer us complimentary pickup from airport. The driver was awesome, we been offered water and cold towel at the airport. The reception at the hotel offered us welcome drink. The check in was smooth and the rooms were ready. The hotel has an awesome swimming pool. We are enjoying our stay here.
Bilal S — Google review
We stayed there last week and it looks absolutely nothing like this now. The rooms are very average with no cable TV, most of the sockets are inoperable, the AC took a full day to cool the room and the fridge was next to useless. Breakfast was ordinary at best and the fountains are no longer working. It is very sad as we also stayed there 5 years ago and it was decent. It should not be rated as 5 star. The staff however were great and very helpful. Shame on the owners for letting this once great hotel get to this level. There was also a jagged hole in the kids water slide that was downright dangerous. Pictures attached tell the real story. Do not be persuaded by these 5 star reviews.
Randy M — Google review
Beautiful appointed hotel - yes it is older style but that is ok as all amenities are available - multiple dining areas, big swimming pool with bar, sauna, spa etc. Staff very helpful - short walk into town and only 30 metres from ATM. Food great.

Great hotel, service, and pool. Quick visit, we were able to enjoy a glass of wine poolside before our dinner outing. Very kind people.

Restaurant
Nestled in a vibrant locale, Green Sukisoup has been delighting locals for nearly two decades with its signature grouper fish soup hot pot set, which features an enticing mix of seafood and select meatballs. This charming eatery is often discovered by chance, as many visitors find themselves here when their original dining plans fall through. Despite initial hesitations due to mixed reviews, patrons are frequently surprised by the freshness and flavor of dishes like stir-fried noodles and fish paste served with bread.
Best Place for eating. Really delicious und nice atmosphere. Nicest Boss ever. He helps where He can. 5 Stars Tiotally recommended
Johannes P — Google review
We got here by accident as the restaurant we want to eat at was closed, our tuk-tuk driver drop us off here as it were similar food. When we sit down and check the reviews we were little nervous since it was only 3.7 rating. But it turns out the stir fried noodles and fish paste with bread was surprisingly fresh and tasty. On top it was expensive for an air conditioner restaurant so we were hot eating hot food.

i dont think a review in english will mean anything for this place. food was good. main thing missing from bbq is marinated chicken. cambodia just still cant get their chicken right. big wall seperates you from the street activity so atmosphere wasnt great

It's a good place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Reasonable prices and free small playground when we have children should help out some.

Kuy Teav Orussey Siem Reap is a delightful culinary experience that captures the essence of Cambodian breakfast culture. This beloved noodle soup features delicate rice vermicelli immersed in a clear, savory broth made from pork or beef bones. Locals often gather early in the morning to enjoy this dish, which is typically garnished with fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and chili for an extra kick.
I had the seafood noodle soup, which was a simple rice noodle soup with a few shrimps and bean sprouts - perfect for breakfast and lots of condiments to add, green tea and fried bread. Quick service and helpful staff.
Lizzie W — Google review
By far the best favored broth of Kuy Teav I had on this Cambodia trip!! I would highly recommend getting there early seats are limited.
Randy F — Google review
I don’t understand how this place isn’t rated even higher. This was THE BEST food we had in Cambodia. Definitely a local spot and it’s clear why it’s such a hit in this city. We were the only tourist there when we dined. Please get the Kuy teav or the noodle soup. Please also add all the condiments in it. Trust me, you want all those notes of flavor in there. If you’re unsure, ask the staff which btw for us, the service was quick and exceptional. Our waitress was very attentive towards us. The coffee, especially in south east Asia is typically sweetened. Sometimes often not being strong enough for myself, an avid coffee drinker, but they serve a decently strong iced coffee here. There’s also parking for your motorbike, as well as a person hired to watch over it. He provided us with a cover for our seats, while we ate, so the sun didn’t burn it up in the mean time. A nice touch 👍👌. I wish we had discovered this spot sooner or that we had a little more time in this city, just for one more bowl of Kuy Teav.
Trisha T — Google review
We both had noodle soup for breakfast, and soup was a bit salty to both our taste.
Soklyda S — Google review
We came here for tea-break, ends up ordering a big bottle of Angkor beer, fried pork noodle and fried spring roll with chicken. The owner(also a freelance tour guide) , Nat is very friendly.
Richard L — Google review
Great restaurant with lots of food options. Staff is helpful. The portion is big and we like the soup with rice. It is enough for two persons. Would recommend to others to try
MattpackCa H — Google review
Best noodles in Siem Reap, I order beef noodle here for breakfast at least 3 times a week and it’s consistently delicious with a great broth.
