Nestled along the riverside in Siem Reap, Sister Srey Cafe is a charming spot that not only serves delicious food but also gives back to the community. Founded by two sisters, this social enterprise donates part of its profits to the Hearts to Harmony Foundation and supports various initiatives aimed at improving lives in Cambodia. Visitors flock here for its robust coffee and health-conscious menu featuring an array of raw dishes, all served with a side of warm hospitality.
Great little chill cafe in the centre of town directly across from the river. Another one shown to me by my local friend who comes here often. Excellent coffee and amazing eggs/bacon breakfast on a rosti base. Quite a highlight. The staff are super friendly and quite proud of the establishment. Give it a try!

Cute little place. Beware, they closed at 6pm the day I ate here. I arrived at 520 and almost wouldn't serve me because the kitchen was closing. I ordered gluten free fried rice with chicken. They forgot the chicken, but I didn't ask them to fix it after the fuss on being able to order at all. Overall an ok place, but waaay too many onions in the fried rice. With so many other great places in town, I probably won't go back, unless it's for drinks and a treat only.
Candace H — Google review
After an exhausting day of taking the sights in, I wanted to sit at a cute cafe, with a coffee to unwind. This place apparently does a lot for their community such as donating 1% back to a charity that clears land mines. Sadly, land mine related deaths still occur monthly. The cafe was cosy, modern, clean and bright. The staff are super friendly, speak English really well, & there are 2 floors. There's an art gallery upstairs where you can purchase prints, lounge in the comfortable chairs and there are several fans to cool the floor. ☕ The iced coffee I had was of a great standard, came with a little biscuit, & was forthy at the top. Round the corner from the old market, so if you ever need to rally before or after the complexities, & abundance at the market. This is a great place to do it. 😆
K V — Google review
Extremely friendly staff who speak English very well. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great coffee. Teeny weeny but disappointed with fried chicken rice because I was hoping for a piece of chicken drumstick or sth like that but the taste makes up for it. Love that they are supporting Apopo (the landmine sniffing rats) and love the bamboo straw, I had to have one
Jo T — Google review
Amazing food here. Excellent service. I really enjoy the breakfast. I like to order Al a carte because of my dietary restrictions. But in the past I've really enjoyed their big homemade cashew cookies. Their espresso is extremely good. It's right next to the river. When I'm craving a really good Western style breakfast this place hits the spot.
J S — Google review
This is a great cafe! Excellent cappuccinos and breakfast choices with very generous portions. The service is welcoming and very attentive without being intrusive. It's a nice location for people watching as well.
Sandra G — Google review
Could this place be any better? Probably not! Coffee was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. All profits to land mine clearance. Please go and support this incredible cafe. 💕🙏
David W — Google review
They have gluten free food options (and deserts), clearly labelled on the menu. Staff super friendly and speak great English. Place is clean. Also for a great cause #herorats! Would highly recommend 😊

Nestled in the vibrant Kandal Village on Hap Guan Street, The Little Red Fox Espresso Cafe has established itself as a must-visit destination for coffee enthusiasts in Siem Reap. This charming, eco-conscious cafe is dedicated to serving exceptional brews in a cozy setting that features a large communal table and bar stools indoors, complemented by inviting outdoor seating surrounded by lush greenery. Recently, they introduced an additional level called 'The Den,' providing even more space to enjoy their delightful offerings.
A Must-Visit in Siem Reap! The Little Red Fox is an absolute gem. Easily one of the best spots in town for a proper coffee fix. Their breakfast bagels also are next level, fresh, delicious, and generously filled. On top of that, the service is exceptional. Friendly, welcoming staff who genuinely care about what they do make the whole experience even better. A beautiful air conditioned multi level shop that also has a nice outdoor area out the front. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a relaxed breakfast, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

The coffee is great. Bagel is cold and seen better days. The melted cheese was hard like rock. Inform the server (not complaint, just let her know so that next customer dont suffer) and she was very kind to offer eggs or any other things to replace. We told her its ok, we are full but she still send a huge cookie and kept apologising. Very nice lady

Lovely cafe! Went for a quick morning coffee and a light breakfast before starting out the day. We arrived right after 7am - the service was spectacular with warm, attentive and friendly staff; the coffee was excellent having tried the Coconut Cinnamon Mocha, and the vegetarian omelet was delicious! (Definitely try the in-house hot sauce too!) There's some fantastic greenery if you opt for the second floor balcony spot, and a display of dragonflys that dance atop what I believe was a nearby Shikuwasa tree which was fantastic to watch! Couldn't ask for a better way to start a day! Definitely worth a visit!

From the outside this looks just like any other coffee shop, it's not. There is amazing attention to detail, the owners have put a lot of time and energy into training the staff and perfecting their coffee, drinks and food. I was having a conversation with one of the staff members and for a moment forgot I was in Cambodia. No, I'm not trying to disrespect Cambodia I'm just saying in 10 years I've not encountered customer service like this. I love the ambience, the fact that you have multiple areas you could sit and more menu choices than you can imagine. Yes, it is a coffee shop but it's special. P.s. that brownie.... Wow!!! Thank you.
Scott J — Google review
Came expecting a specialty coffee shop but they don't really have a variety of beans for you to choose from. Nevertheless it is a cute coffee shop with interesting drinks and nice food. They also have the cutest spoons here
Philippe E — Google review
The best cafe in Cambodia, by far, the best rice bowl I have ever had, incredible coffees & perfect smoothies. The staff were all so so lovely🥹 they play Khmer music too which adds to the vibes, I would seriously recommend🙏🏼
Emily S — Google review
Red Fox is a lovely spot that caters to tourists, which is pricey and is reflected in their menu prices. I treated myself to a large iced cappuccino for $3.25, and while it was nice, I think it could have been even better with just a little less ice. I also had the Masala Omelette for $4.00, which was tasty, though it was a tad dry. On the bright side, the staff was wonderful and added to the pleasant experience.

Coffee is delicious. My son had scrambled eggs and he loved it. I had tofu but didn't really enjoy it. Overall, would come again just not ordering tofu

Footprint Cafe in Siem Reap is a popular breakfast spot known for its healthy smoothies and vegan-friendly menu. The cafe is dedicated to supporting local communities through social impact initiatives, with 100% of net profits going towards educational projects. Their goal is to become the first global chain of cafes linking tourism to community empowerment.
This cafe has been my favorite spot for a read. Staffs were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Food and drinks are healthy and delicious. Only thing is the balcony upstairs are dusty. I wish they could clean it up.

This coffee shop is a gem for anyone looking for a cozy place to unwind or get some work done. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which adds a personal touch to every visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for slow mornings or quiet evenings. Prices are reasonable too, great value without compromising quality. Definitely worth coming back to.
Fachri J — Google review
Cozy, nice cafe'. The staff are very welcoming and professional. Coffee comes with a small bite of brownie:). There is a perfect co-working space on the second floor where I spent hours studying! Also several books to read and just relax. Highly recommended

We went here at night for a drink The cafe is aesthetic, cold and cozy. The drinks is nice and the price is reasonable. The service is also very welcoming. The waiting time is not that long and the staffs is friendly. Suitable to bring family and friends for hangout. Wifi also provided to do work here. The atmosphere is just peace and lovely. There are also a lot of books available.

I thought I was here once, and I definitely have to come back. I love this place. It’s peaceful, perfect for work and concentration. The local area around Wat Bo is easy to navigate, and it has a calm charm that makes you feel at home. A spot worth returning to again and again.
Chhengleang S — Google review
A lovely café to relax, read, or just unwind. They serve a nice matcha (Asa from Bean Embassy) that’s smooth and flavorful, and the brownies à la mode are a real treat; rich, warm, and perfectly paired with ice cream. A cozy spot for a quiet and enjoyable break.
Bea B — Google review
I'm a coffee fan; this place deserves one. By the way, this best coffee spot in Siem Reap. Everything is so nice: the cozy atmosphere, the coffee, and the library design as a cafe. They are quiet and nice, good for chilling, meeting, and relaxing here to enjoy the food and drinks with a good vibe.
Ly M — Google review
Cute and comfortable little coffee with another floor where you have enough decent space for a work on the computer or stay silent and read the wide range of books available on the ground floor. Appreciated the classic Matcha Latte available on the menu, and each drinks come with a glass of water that can be unlimited and refilled at will.

Nestled in the heart of Siem Reap, Malis Restaurant stands out as a culinary gem that beautifully showcases the rich flavors of Cambodian cuisine. Renowned for its exquisite curries and traditional dishes, this restaurant also delights diners with an impressive array of desserts. Indulge in local favorites like jasmine-infused mousse paired with crunchy rice or young palm fruit simmered in coconut milk alongside refreshing coconut jelly and vanilla ice cream.
We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant and I’d like to thank our server for his attentiveness. He kindly informed us that we were over-ordering, as the dishes are essentially family-sized. This was much appreciated — we did end up ordering more than we could finish, so his guidance was spot on. The food itself was exceptional. I have to say the fish amok was the best I’ve ever had, and everything else we tried was equally impressive. My friend especially loved one of the beef dishes, and the seafood fried rice was delicious. The cocktails were also unique — I particularly enjoyed a gin and celery juice combination. As it happened to be my friend’s birthday, the restaurant kindly provided a dessert platter, which was amazing. Overall, the combination of attentive service, outstanding food, and thoughtful gestures made for a memorable dining experience.
Shae Z — Google review
Will return. 11:30am, we were the only table. People start to streaming in at 12. Chinese pop songs are being played – not Hong Kong pop, which I consider it more sophisticated. The high ceiling decor is elegant and sophisticated. I love the intricate and symmetrical lattice wood works. Great service and delicious clay pots: tofu and bamboo soup, which is the most delicious, light and flavorful. It’s the best among all the soups I’ve had on this tour so far. We would lunch at their Phnom Penh 金边 a few days later. Comparing the two, I like this one far better.
Irene E — Google review
The food here is outstanding. Authentic Cambodian flavors, unlimited rice, and great set menus. A little pricier than most, but worth it for the quality and experience. Convenient location near my hostel too!
Niskie F — Google review
Malis Restaurant in downtown Siem Reap certainly presents itself as an establishment catering to a mid-to-upper price range, which is understandable given its location and ambiance. However, the overall experience didn't entirely align with this expectation. While I appreciate having this level of dining option in the neighborhood, certain aspects left room for improvement, especially considering the cost. One notable area was the comfort of the dining environment. Despite the price point, the restaurant felt surprisingly warm, which detracted from the overall experience, particularly in Siem Reap's climate. Additionally, the level of hospitality, while polite, felt somewhat basic compared to other restaurants in a similar price bracket. Simple touches like a waitress proactively pouring water, which are often standard in this range, were noticeably absent. Regarding the food itself, I opted for the recommended scallops and the Amok Fish. While the dishes were presented adequately, the flavors felt rather mediocre, especially when considering the price. The taste didn't quite justify the cost, and I was left feeling that the quality needs to be elevated to truly match the restaurant's pricing and perceived target audience. While I commend the effort to offer a higher-end dining experience, some refinements are needed to fully meet those expectations.
Yanly R — Google review
I went to Malis for breakfast and really enjoyed it. For just $9 net, you get a free-flow option where you can order from the entire breakfast menu from Cambodian dishes to Western classics, plus fresh juice, tea, and coffee. The atmosphere feels elegant with a modern Cambodian design, and there’s even a charming little garden seating area at the back. A great spot to start the morning.
Pros N — Google review
A very ‘special occasion’ restaurant - but who needs a special occasion! Just come and treat yourself - it’s really not that expensive, you deserve a treat and the food is really good! As are the designs, layout and general ambience. I would have given you 5 stars but the Morning Glory was tough, thick, stringy, undercooked, not fresh and had little / no leaf to speak of. Check out Sokkhak River Restaurant’s Morning Glory & take notes. Also, the restaurant was too hot until they turned on large fans, on request. Proper air conditioning would be more welcome. The atmosphere was lacking customers (we were one of only two couples (again, check out your competition & find out why - as they are busy).
Geoff L — Google review
Been to Mali’s a few times on my trip. Excellent, upscale space next to the river - meaning it’s easy to get in and out. Food is excellent. Kulen pig is crispy outside and tender juicy inside. Samlor Korko Pork is super flavorful. Service is impeccable. Highly recommended.

I don’t know what’s the hype about this restaurant… expensive and food is bland and of no quality … one of the worst service I encountered in Siem Reap

Nestled in the heart of Siem Reap, New Leaf Eatery is a charming not-for-profit café that doubles as a community hub for book lovers. This delightful spot offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy everything from refreshing fruit shakes to hearty meals. The breakfast selection is diverse, featuring treats like blueberry pancakes and traditional Khmer dishes such as pork rice and noodle soup. For lunch or dinner, don’t miss their unique takes on local favorites like fish amok and beef lok lak.
Found this jewel on Google and so glad we had lunch here. Bright, clean environment with friendly and sweet employees. I had my eye on the salads until I spied chili on the menu. My husband had the steak and ale which is basically a beef pot pie and he described it as true comfort food. The menu has pretty much anything to fill your cravings. It is rated high for a reason.
Kimberly Q — Google review
My partner and I had lunch here and were so glad we did! Stacks of vegan/vegetarian options and gluten free options too. Nuts were also clearly marked on the menu and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. My partner had a chicken burger, which he enjoyed, served with chips and salad. I had the Khmer vegetable curry and the flavour was excellent. We also had drinks - iced americano and homemade limeade and these were nice. I had the vegan dark chocolate ice cream to finish and it was literally the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. Super rich and creamy. The menu was a great mix of options and had both western and traditional style dishes. The venue was kept cool with fans and they have a range of sustainability initiatives that make you feel even better about dining there. They also have some retail items for sale that are local/support charities/great initiatives. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. They have live music sometimes too. We’re only in Siem Reap for a few days, but might make it back for another meal, we enjoyed it so much. Edit: we came back twice more! Some of the lovely staff recognized us when greeting us. We had more burgers (mine without buns, so the photos don’t look great, but the taste was excellent!) and my partner also enjoyed the home made chicken pie. I had the ice cream every visit (which the staff definitely noticed and giggled at) because I couldn’t go past it. Literally the best vegan ice cream ever.

A lovely place. We came here twice because it was so good! We had the spiced bean burger with chips, the steak & ale pie, and the smashed avocado with poached eggs. You’re welcomed with a complimentary drink when you sit down, and it’s delicious. The staff are very friendly too. I highly recommend this place as it has plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians, a nice atmosphere, and delicious food.

I needed gluten free food while traveling, and this place did not disappoint! I had a breakfast smorgasbord, and it was super tasty. The hot cocoa (with soy milk) was tasty, although I did add a little sugar to it. I would definitely recommend this place to others with food allergies .

This place is a lovely gem in Siem Reap, we went twice during our stay - once for brunch and once for dinner. Loads of GF options, nice mix of western / Khmer options too. Staff are very friendly, highly recommended!

During my 6-day stay in Siem Reap, I kept coming back to this restaurant—it was that good! While it's not the cheapest option, it's definitely not the most expensive either. The price of the dishes is absolutely worth it, given the excellent quality of the food and service. After visiting so often, the lovely staff even started calling me “Sister” ♡, which made me feel so welcome. The vegan/vegetarian food is delicious, abundant, and perfect after a long day exploring temples. You really get what you pay for here, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.
Josy R — Google review
I love how this restaurant sells sustainable, Cambodian-made goods! Their menu selection is great and they have a fair amount of vegan/vegetarian options as well. Great service and the seating was comfy. I got their tofu mushroom larb. This was pretty good, more on the wet side and it lacked a bit of flavor in my opinion. We also got their frozen mango margarita, which was refreshing, but I didn’t taste the mango oddly enough. My companions got burgers with fries and they were very happy. The fries were delicious. The burger buns tasted homemade and fresh

When I came back to Siem Reap 9 years after my first visit, I was so relieved to find this wonderful place had survived not only the pandemic but also the fast-paced development of downtown Siem Reap! No surprise though, as food and drinks at this remarkable social enterprise are as excellent as ever! The team's outstanding and fun hospitality and the places cozy and relaxed atmosphere make New Leaf a must-visit for anyone visiting Siem Reap!

Fine dining restaurant
When exploring the vibrant town of Siem Reap, a visit to Embassy Khmer Gastronomy is an experience you simply cannot miss. Much like witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over Angkor Wat or capturing a moment at Ta Prohm, dining here should be on your must-do list. This intimate restaurant boasts an all-female staff who craft and serve a monthly changing tasting menu that highlights the exquisite flavors of Khmer fine-dining cuisine.
Had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Embassy Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making us feel so welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening. 1) The tasting menu was a true journey through Khmer cuisine. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with rich, unique flavors. 2) The cocktails were top-notch too! They were creative, balanced, and paired perfectly with the food. 3) The ambiance was simply stunning, with elegant décor and a calm, refined atmosphere that made the night feel extra special. 4) The overall concept of the place was amazing. From the pre-dinner lounge with local street food bites to the chef’s personal introductions, it felt more like a curated cultural experience than just a meal. Highly recommend if you’re in Siem Reap and want something truly special. A must-visit!

What an incredible discovery! This dinner was a true culinary journey. It had been a very long time since a meal had left me so amazed. Every dish brought a genuine “wow” of excitement, surprise, and delight. A memorable gastronomic experience from beginning to end. It all begins with creative street-food-style amuse-bouches, served while relaxing in cosy lounge chairs. Then comes a perfectly cooked egg, enjoyed right in the kitchen—a delightful behind-the-scenes moment. Finally, you're invited to the table for the rest of the meal, each course more refined and inventive than the last. Only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients were used, which made each dish feel authentic, seasonal, and full of flavor. The service was exceptional: every member of the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and warm, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. A unique culinary and human experience I won’t soon forget.

I’m not sure how this doesn’t have 5* in reviews! Everything was absolutely incredible. From the setting, to the service and the food. The setting is perfect, it’s a fun but classy design to the restaurant. The service was amazing, all the ladies were so friendly and lovely, we had a baby with us and they all offered to hold him so we could enjoy our dinner. The food, was some of the best food we’ve had, every course was bursting with flavour. There was a story/information behind every course which all added to the evening. One of the best overall dining experiences and a must visit in Siem Reap!

Amazing venue to have a specially curated dinner, mixing western and khmer food into various wonderful courses. Celebrated my wife's birthday here and the food and service did not disappoint. The ambience was beautiful and there many photo taking spots in this restaurant as it's amazing at night. Thank you to the amazing all-ladies crew in making my wife's birthday an amazing and memorable experience.

My husband arranged a meal here for my birthday during ourholiday in Siem Reap. What is unique about this restaurant is that it is run entirely by women both in the kitchen and front of house. The chef uses local seasonal ingredients for the entire menu. We were greeted with drinks and offered an amuse bouche. We were then invited to the kitchen to meet the team where we had another small dish. After this, we sat down in the main dining area for the rest of the meal. The food was phenomenal from the start. It showcased the best that the local area could offer and the portions were just right. The staff were so friendly and attentive. They offered a special birthday surprise at the end. They also give their diners some macaroons to take home to continue the experience. These were made from cashews - again focussing in on the Cambodian theme. If you want a Cambodian fine dining experience then restaurant is a must to visit. It is Michelin star quality without the price tag, if not better than some of the Michelin star restaurants I have been to! Definitely worth it!

Honestly this was better than 1 and 2 star Michelin restaurants that I have been to, hands down! Everything from the service, atmosphere, explanation of the food, presentation, staff, ingredients, and the dishes. I did not have a dish that was so so, every single plate was amazing! This will be a future Michelin chef, no doubt. If you are here and want incredible, authentic Cambodian dishes made with local ingredients, GO HERE!

Incredible dining experience at the Embassy Gastronomy! I felt so attended to and accommodated as someone who doesn’t eat meat. The place is owned and run by women! I loved the experience so much and highly recommend. A big thank you to Sambath who took care of me the entire evening. The food and drinks were amazing!

✨ The best fine dining experience in Siem Reap! ✨ It’s more than just a dinner – it’s a true culinary journey. From the amuse-bouche to the final mignardises, every bite was flawless. Having lived in Cambodia for over 10 years, I can say this was the most exceptional gastronomic experience I’ve ever had here. What makes it truly unique is the meticulous attention to detail – down to the perfectly presented macaron box you take home at the end. Congratulations to Chef Kimsan and her team for creating such a memorable and refined experience. Absolutely outstanding! 🙏

Cuisine Wat Damnak, a gem in Siem Reap, is celebrated for its innovative approach to traditional Khmer cuisine. Under the expert guidance of Chef Joannes Riviere, this restaurant artfully blends locally sourced ingredients with contemporary French techniques. The menu changes every two weeks, offering diners a unique tasting experience that showcases the best of Cambodian flavors. Set in a charming wooden house surrounded by lush greenery and local artwork, the ambiance is both romantic and inviting.
A TRULY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE! We initially made a reservation mistake by booking the day after we actually intended to visit. The front desk made us aware of this and noted they could still accommodate us. The property is beautiful with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails were delicious and the meal was something we will remember for years to come (we selected both the meat-based and vegetarian-based menu selections). This experience truly elevated our trip in Cambodia and made for a very special evening. Thank you to the entire front- and back-of-house staff!!!

Had a great experience here — the service was excellent, drinks were well-crafted, and the tasting menu was definitely interesting. I enjoyed some dishes more than others, but really appreciated the creativity and the nod to Khmer heritage. Definitely worth recommending.

Perfect in every way! We ordered one of each tasting menu. Every dish was creative, beautifully presented and included a wonderful blend of tastes.

The experience we needed! The food was delicious, I had the vegetarian menu and I should say, chefs in Europe have to learn from this… not the usual vegetarian ingredients, but delicious surprising flavors! I really enjoyed it! The service was very good and the place is not that expensive if you consider the level of the service and food. Highly recommended!

For me the flavours really hit nicely. Maybe lacking in a little animal protein. The only miss for the night was the cocktail. I ordered the ginger martini and the flavours tasted muddled instead of the clean crisp flavours you expect from a martini.

During our visit to Siem Reap, my husband and I dined at Cuisine Wat Damnak, renowned as Cambodia’s first restaurant to feature in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Despite a branch in Phnom Penh, we chose the Siem Reap location for its distinguished recognition. Reservation: We booked several days in advance through the restaurant’s website, accessible via their Google Maps listing. Upon arrival, the restaurant was fully booked, highlighting the importance of early reservations. Dining Experience: We selected the 8-course tasting menu at $45 per person; a vegetarian option was available at $38. Beverages were charged separately. The dinner lasted about two hours. While not every dish suited our tastes, we appreciated the innovative flavor combinations and the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Service: The service was impeccable, with staff demonstrating extensive knowledge of each dish and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Final Thoughts: As enthusiasts of fine dining, we prioritize visiting top-rated restaurants in every city we explore. Our visit to Cuisine Wat Damnak in Siem Reap was a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend it to those seeking a unique culinary experience in Cambodia. Special thanks to ChatGPT for the recommendation; it truly enhanced our journey.

Wow! This was an incredible experience! The chefs carefully crafted each dish to develop a complex yet balanced masterpiece. Each course was unique and brought out the unique flavours of Cambodian cuisine with a touch of French mastery! Overall, this was our favourite restaurant and we have been to others, such as the Embassy Khmer Gastronomy, which was more expensive and tasted so much worse. We really recommend it and the price justifies the amazing dishes! You will feel very full at the end. This is on par with one Michelin star restaurant.

The Bayon Pastry School is a non-profit organization that offers free vocational training to underprivileged Khmer women, providing education and internship programs in pastry making, English, and computer skills. The school also features a charming cafe set in a beautiful garden where visitors can enjoy a variety of pastries and treats, including vegan options. Additionally, the nearby Bayon temple is famous for its impressive stone towers adorned with 216 carved faces.
The place is cute and nicely decorated There are plenty of indications about the actions, their programs, their stories and history. Food is so good; loved the 2 kind of breads and baguettes we had. Prices are super reasonable Would love to come back again to try their viennoiseries

Stopped in at the coffee shop/ pastry school to have a pastry and a cappuccino. Pastry school says it all, it was great. Think I've found a new morning spot!! Great coffee, pastries and an extremely quaint setting. Nothing but to liked good sure! Open 7am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday Update Stopped in again and tried one of their weekly specials, a chicken blue cheese salad and of course another cappuccino And for dessert another cappuccino and a slice of lemon meringue pie. This place is the bomb-everything was absolutely fantastic
Michael S — Google review
I will start by saying I was already having a bad day due to my hostel which is located on the same block didn't have any coffee which as I had paid for breakfast and coffee to be included my day didn't get started as normal with a fresh ground coffee. This led to me going in search of my usual kick start to the day being a coffee junkie. I stumbled across Bayon pastry school by chance its location is off a main road down an unmade street that isn't concrete. Seeing the graffiti advertising on the wall at the end of the road, it's less than 50m away. The history of this place is captured in one of many displays and information, so see included photos of the ethos of the place and its mission statement. It's an open plan design garden courtyard with some undercover ceiling fans. To help keep you cool on what is normally a very hot day. I ordered latte see photos, and it was well presented technically. I'm not so sure it was a latte and maybe Cappuccino very thick layer of foam and very milky in flavour. I couldn't taste the coffee, so I returned it asking for an extra shot of coffee. The waitress seemed to understand, but when the cup was returned, the amount of liquid I the cup seemed the same, so I wasn't so sure I had anything added to my cup so for the second time I went back and asked for another shot of coffee to be added. This time making sure I tried it's taste when the waitress brought me the cup back the second she gave it to me. The extra shot this time did change the flavour and I could now taste the coffee but considering at this point I had 3 shots of coffee the temperature didn't seem to alter. I am not a coffee machine expert but I will bet money that the setting on the machine needs turning up or maybe it's faulty and needs a service. So my bad day isn't improving at this point so as I have done hundreds of times before I look at the reviews on Google maps as those that already know me and follow me I review more coffee shops than I do hotels and restaurants. Reading the signs leading to this place and it's story I had high expectations and had a good feeling as I like to support and review independent local business and not the massive fancy pants expensive hotels and restaurants. So the reviews before mine talk mainly about the school and the work that is done and the pastry and cakes. I will say at this point I'm not a pastry chef and I don't eat cakes or sweet dessert very often but as the reviews I read said good things I tried the mango and coconut tart and a passion fruit and orange fruit juice with no added sugar. The tart looked fantastic so photos I had one sip of the juice which was mostly water and ice with not much fruit when more disaster hits as it when starts to rain and I'm sitting in the garden area so not wanting my tart to get wet from the rain I pick my what is actually a chopping board and not a serving try with my top heavy glass to a table that had cover from the rain only to place this chopping board down and the unstable pub stool table the glass tips over because of the uneven level of the flooring and the top heavy glass. which ends up going over my plate and phone covering the newly bought tart so I drain the drink from the plate not wanting it to make the tart to go soggy. The tart topping looked great and flavour was good but the pastry was rock hard even after I had spilt a whole glass of juice over which I quickly drained off it to stop it from affecting the pastry the extra moisture didn't help. I was difficult to get my folk to break it apart which I'm sure it should crumble apart and not stick together like concrete. I hate leaving negative reviews but I'm always going to be honest and I had the worst coffee so far In over almost 1.5 years of doing reviews which coffee is my main topic and not cakes so please read other customer reviews also as I did and maybe you will have much better luck than myself. I was already having a bad day and visiting this place didn't help improve my morning it just made a bad day ever worse.

Lovely place in Siem Reap with delicious pastries ! The staff is so friendly I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast in the city :)

A very cozy and welcoming coffee spot with a wonderful project behind it — supporting young women to learn baking and even start their own bakery. It’s something we’re very happy to support, and it makes the place feel even more meaningful. The food and coffee were both delicious and well-prepared. Their breakfast menus are really nice and tasty, beautifully presented, and overall very enjoyable. However, the portions are on the smaller side, so in relation to the price, you might feel it’s a bit limited. Still, the quality and presentation make up for a lot. For 4.50 dollars you get a full breakfast menu with coffee or tea, a small bite, and some fruit, which is definitely nice. Overall, it’s a lovely place worth recommending, especially if you want to enjoy a cozy atmosphere while supporting a great cause.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Bayon Pastry for the first time, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The standout feature of this place is undeniably their exceptional staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant experience, constantly checking in and eagerly seeking feedback. It was truly refreshing to encounter such friendly and attentive individuals. Now, let's talk about the food. The quality of the pastries at Bayon Pastry is outstanding. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and it was evident that great care and attention to detail went into their preparation. From the flaky crusts to the perfectly balanced fillings, every aspect of the pastries was top-notch. Whether you're a fan of sweet or savory treats, Bayon Pastry has something to satisfy every palate. In conclusion, my first visit to Bayon Pastry was a memorable one. The exceptional friendliness of the staff combined with the delectable pastries made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend stopping by this establishment for a truly enjoyable culinary adventure.

Good food and a great cause. Our food was good, not great. We had the panini, quiche and an almond croissant. I was expecting a nice layer of almond cream inside but didn’t get it and it wasn’t hot. Overall I’d still recommend a visit to have breakfast lunch or coffee while supporting a great charitable initiative.

Originally focused on providing support to students at various hospitality schools in Siem Reap, EGBOK has evolved into a recognized training program by the Cambodian government.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are absolutely lovely, so friendly and warm. The food is incredible, I am vegetarian and they were able to alter dishes to accommodate me. I highly enjoyed my tofu amok. We sat by a soothing water feature, with a slight view into the kitchen which was very cool. We had an early dinner here and were lucky enough to see some of the kids as they were leaving school. They all smiled and waved and shouted hello. What an amazing enterprise, transforming these kids lives. Could not recommend this restaurant more.

Wonderful time at SPOONS Café and Restaurant. We had the place to ourselves during lunch, which gave us the chance to truly appreciate the young, talented students as they showcased their skills and attention to detail in every aspect of the service. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! We enjoyed traditional fish dishes and desserts, paired with fresh cold-pressed juices — just perfect. The whole team was professional and friendly, and the setting is both relaxing and charming. Big bonus: dining at SPOONS supports youth training programs, which adds so much meaning to every sip and bite. A total win for us. I can’t recommend it enough, and I wholeheartedly encourage these young people to persevere — they’re doing an amazing job!

Lovely big courtyard dining area, low season so the perfect place to eat as everything is made to order, nothing sitting around to play havoc with your insides! The staff greet you at the entrance, seat you, then bring you cold washcloths and local bug spray (which works fyi!) The menu is extensive and accompanied by brown jasmine rice, delicious! Crazy experience. OK: Location is tranquil, next to the river, seating is lovely with loungers and green spaces- happy thoughts of fresh and healthy sparkle through me as I read the menu ✨️ Then came time to order. I asked slooowly if the cheese in a dish was imported or organic. Google Translate promptly joined, but the waitress looked baffled, and like lighting, exchanged herself with another waitress - unfortunately, she, too, was bewildered, and she, too, couldn't understand the word "imported" or "organic." I pointed to the introduction in the meny: Pages on organic and sustainable tea production. I point to the word organic, then to the cheese dish. She froze. Then I mooed. I. mooed. 😆 And as if by cue, a third and final waiter came running down the stairs to confirm that it was not imported - the tea, no, no, not imported! The cheese I mooed, this time with genuine sadness/ madness. He ran back upstairs, panicking now. He made a call, and then it was confirmed: It's imported, the cheese he yelled down from the veranda in English, and the second waitress explains to me, as delicately as she can that yes ma'm, "the cheese is imported". At this point I'm too afraid to ask if it is...organic? I get the vegetable tempura, resigned. 40 minutes, a dish arrived with no spices inside, tasting of pure oil. Now. I understand these are young people, in school, in training, from villages, some maybe even on their first day on the job. I get we have some wierd expectation as tourists. That's why I give a star. But why why why have they not been trained to understand the words in the menu? It's like going to an advertised tango club 💃 but they can only do the worm. Bizarre, hilarious and exhausting experience for me, confusing and stressful for the staff. But the juice was good!

I went to Peace Cafe six times during my four days in Siem Reap, and it’s easily one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever found! I tried other vegetarian spots, but nothing compares to the fresh taste and excellent service here. Every dish is made with the freshest ingredients, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service is top-notch with the staff being so friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend this place, whether you’re vegan or not! They also offer yoga and cooking classes, but be sure to book in advance.

The Missing Socks Laundry Cafe in Siem Reap has quickly become a favorite among travelers for its unique concept of combining a cafe and laundromat. Situated not far from Pub Street and the Night Market, it offers 24/7 self-service laundry machines alongside a cozy breakfast spot. The cafe serves up delicious waffles and coffee, making it an ideal place to grab a caffeine fix while getting your laundry done.
Great place for breakfast in Siem Reap! The amazing smell of food when stepping into this cafe made me confirmed that I've came to the right place. Must try the waffle burger, amazing. Also the fresh spring roll was very tasting with beautiful presentation, would be a good choice for those who don't have big appetite in the morning. People are actually doing laundry here at the entrance, and enjoying their food meanwhile.

Really cute n clean, well-designed cafe with actual laundry in the front. The branding is so clever and fun all the way, with great coffee, yummy food and chill atmosphere if the space is lil too compact. Khmer Green Curry was so good made me feeling healthier after eating it. along with a better than average iced espresso. I’d be a regular if I were to live around here.

One of the most unique cafés I’ve been to on my travels! Exceptional coffee and delicious Khmer and western style foods. The staff was incredibly friendly, the ambience is charming and the service was great. And you can even get some laundry done while you’re chilling inside. A Siem Reap gem for those who enjoy a cup of the good stuff.

Loved this place and was a regular these past few days. First and foremost, eat their waffles!! They are golden brown, fluffy and filling. As you can see from my picture, I always added banana to the basic syrup and butter waffle. Their coffee is delicious too and if that's not your thing they have a good selection of hot teas. I also did my laundry here (self-service) and the whole process took only about an hour. All together it cost $5 and the machines have detergent and softener so you don't need to go buy anything. Definitely recommend this place for those looking for a good breakfast/brunch place and those who need to do laundry!

Love this place. The food - especially the homemade waffle - is delicious! The staff is always smiling and kind. Plus, you can do your laundry while eating or reading. Came here a few time while in Siem Reap!

This place is perfect for travellers like my fiancé and myself! Siem reaps first and only 24/7 laundry self service, and from 7am-4pm their cafe is open. Great chai tea, the best I’ve had yet on my last 3 months travelling south east Asia! I got the mango waffles (seasonal fruit) which were perfect - both the mango and the waffle! My fiancé had a great long black coffee and the sunrise in siem reap waffles which looked amazing! They also provide water on the table which was nice. Also if you order waffles, pasta or a Khmer dish your get coffee and teas at a special price... so that was nice! We enjoyed our meal and beverages while waiting for our laundry. Laundry wash is $3 (which you get tokens for in their machine) and includes the detergent which is awesome! But didn’t leave my clothes smelling super clean. Drying is $1 for 10 mins. We did probably about 7kg worth of clothing which fit in one wash (we asked before starting and they said it should fit), but required 60 mins maybe more of drying.. considering after $20 we just tossed it back in our laundry bag to hang dry the rest in our hostel. We even separated into 2 drying loads. So that part was unfortunate, the rest of our experience was great! If you have a lot of laundry maybe take advantage of the cheap services nearby, but if it’s a small amount then this is great!
Merlot D — Google review
24/7 laundry. Operated with tokens. $3 for washing - detergent inclusive. $1 per 10 min for the drier. Price not cheap but handy. Upside is the café. Very nice cosy place. Order and pay at the counter. Ordered the signature waffle burger. It is truly delicious! The passion juice was overpriced in my opinion as it wasn't fresh juice. Staff super helpful and friendly. All in all, a great place. Only 4 stars because of the slightly high price.
Stephanie M — Google review
Warm cute little space to have decent coffee and food while doing your laundry. Many might not realise that they have little space upstairs with a few bunk beds, suitable for single travellers. Clean nice beds, providing your towel and breakfast, oh yeah, also free WiFi :-) Heard that they make nice waffle which I would like to try, hopefully tomorrow. Worth to pay them a visit and give it a try.

Crane is a trendy spot that offers more than just food and drinks. The place is adorned with art, stylish furniture, and unique decor, creating an atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back for more. While the menu features standard coffee, cakes, sandwiches, and snacks, the real draw is the ambiance. Although lacking air conditioning, patrons can cool down with an iced coffee. This hipster hangout also caters to vegans and vegetarians alongside meat options.
I have been at this lovely place several times. The stuff is so nice! Very relaxed atmosphere with all the plants around. You get a delicious homemade kombucha tea. The coffee was so tasty. And also great food. I had a very good Pad Thai.

The area and the location are very nice. The cafe has a nice set up with lots of plants! The service and also the food is not matching my first impression. The food, should be an omelette, was not tasty at all and very oily on top. I had a small taste and ask the staff to take it back and yes they ask if I want something else but I denied as I was very disappointed. At the end the wanted me to charge the full breakfast which I did not do ay at the end. At the the coffee quality was very good!

Our favourites at crane are the chicken quesadilla and their chicken pad thai. We love coming to this cafe for our delicious meals. They also have amazing vegetarian and vegan options menu also. I only had a cold drink (Kambucha dragon fruit with lime) and it was fantastic, my first Kambucha so thank you for the experience:) decor and design is very pretty but not twee at all. Looking at some of the artefacts positioned on shelves it felt authentic, framed tickets for the Cocteau Twins and Sonic Youth, cassette tapes and 8 tracks, just very well done. Sound track was very good too, very contemporary r+b, almost experimental stuff. Staff lovely. Great discovery for me, will come back for sure

This café has a trendy, relaxed vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating—perfect for hanging out or taking a break. We stopped by on a rainy afternoon, and it turned out to be the ideal spot for a snack. The coffee and smoothie options were excellent, and the food really impressed us. The quesadilla with guacamole was especially unique and full of flavor! The service was friendly and efficient. They also have a small selection of unique, artsy gift items for sale, which was a nice touch.

The Muffin Man in Siem Reap is a charming spot known for its superb vegan muffins and delicious toasted sandwiches. While the menu offers a variety of treats, some visitors have expressed a desire for more options that combine both vegan and gluten-free elements. Despite this, the staff are praised for their warmth and hospitality.
I pop in here once or twice a week for some healthy takeaway. I love their lentil salad, it's consistently delicious and served with some flat bread. Their new menu items include an incredible chicken avocado salad which is now one of my favorites. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and westernized dining. Of course, their muffins and sweets are top notch as well, but I frequent the restaurant for their salads, sometimes their ham and cheese toasty and they make a great coffee too. Don't let the name fool you, they offer much more than just muffins! Incredible food options for those looking to stay healthy or those looking to treat themselves with something sweet.

I wanted to grab some quick and light breakfast somewhere. I was craving for some baked goods, and so I stopped over here to get a vegan blueberry muffin. It was nice, fluffy and tasted good. Other options sounded good too, but I mainly wanted the muffin. Friendly service. They had free wifi access, which I used a bit. Good speed. There were plenty of vegan, vegetarian and/or gluten-free options, which were well-marked and labelled in the menu.

The Muffin Man is such a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy an Iced Cafe Mocha paired with a delicious Chocolate Muffin—both were amazing! The staff was super attentive, making the experience even better. The only downside was that it got a little noisy, but I think some cozy cushions and plants could really help with that!

The story made the food sweeter!! After good ratings on gmaps, we decided to check it out. The story of the patron was quite touching. This carried into the food and made every bite satisfying. The lemongrass tea was intense and delicious after the rich sweetness of the almond vanilla cake. Yummy muffins and great sandwiches. A recommendation for siem reap indeed.

Incredible food as well as service. I have eaten in the cafe and ordered online and both are excellent and indistinguishable. I had the best raspberry and white chocolate muffin I’ve ever had, delicious and warm. Savoury food is incredible too and lots of vegetarian options which is amazing. I’m here for a few more days and will definitely be back.

I love the story behind Muffin Man and how inspiring the owner. There is a good choice of foods to choose from. The muffins & cheesecakes are addictive! We ate here twice in Siem Reap and ate in the Phnom Penh store twice also.

If you ever want to grab a freshly baked muffins and cake. You definitely need to come here. Their muffins, brownie, carrots cake is sooo nice; however, it’s abit sweet for me. But that doesn’t make me deduct 1 star rate for them. 😁😁I also tried their half size scramble toasted for $4.5, the portion is crazily biggg and delicious 😋😋😋🤤l The staffs is also very friendly and welcoming.

The food, muffins, cakes and cookie were awesome. This place has aircon and the vibe is very chill. Loved that they support inclusive employment. The service was amazing. A must visit cafe when in Siem Reap.

Dialogue Siem Reap is a charming and vibrant cafe that offers a unique blend of flavors, creativity, and community. The quirky decor and captivating artwork create an awesome ambience. It's known for its comforting full English breakfast, perfect for those seeking a taste of home. By day, it's a cool coffee shop with hand-roasted coffee, while at night it transforms into a hip bar with craft beer.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful rustic decor and soft lantern lighting that creates a cozy and intimate vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried rice with a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg and tender beef was full of flavor and had a great texture. The grilled fish in a soy-based sauce was another highlight—moist, flavorful, and complemented by fresh chili and herbs. The salmon salad was fresh and vibrant, with a great mix of textures and a tangy dressing.

Love the comfort that has the place in terms of furniture and setting around the bar. There is also a floor with open area on the first floor and a rooftop. The menu is wide, and their coffee is tasty. Matcha soda was a little bit boring, so I'll try the matcha latte next time.
Guimo-D B — Google review
The food was excellent and the service was spot on. The avocado smoothie, though, was way too thick and not sweet enough—even for someone like me who usually prefers less sugar. The place itself is spacious with a nice, laid-back vibe.
TN L — Google review
Delicious western style breakfast options served in a chill, relaxing atmosphere on a main street. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Double espresso pulled really well and definitely highlighted the good beans they’re using for coffee. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Phirun C — Google review
This is a cafe restaurant in Siem Reap. The atmosphere was very good, but the staff was not well trained. For example, the staff misunderstood our beer order, and the windmill on the ceiling never stopped no matter how many times we said it was cold. The quality of the food was not bad, but not excellent either.
Moreira — Google review
Really tasty food and calm atmosphere (could have stayed for hours). Breakfast meal size was not massive, but enough and drinks were great as well. Staff was friendly and free water included.

— Cool Comfort, Worth Repeating — Dialogue is a modern, stylish café-restaurant in Siem Reap—pretty to look at, pleasantly cool inside, and equipped with WiFi for those who like to linger. I had a wonton soup with chicken ($3.50) and an iced latte ($3). Both were well-prepared, satisfying, and fairly priced. Nothing extravagant, just simple quality done right. Sometimes, that’s exactly what one needs. I can easily see myself returning again, and again.

Delicious food and amazing coffee! This is the traditional food made with class, good quality ingredients and unforgettable taste. We don’t eat meat tho so I cannot speak for that.

Cute cafe in Siem Reap for western style breakfast! Cheap enough price and nice fruit juice as well. Lovely cosy vibe in here!
Lucy B — Google review
A cute little cafe with perfectly edible food. Service was prompt and easy but I would not say welcoming. We checked about a delicious sauce but the staff could not tell us what it was made from. Seemed a little distracted or just dismissive. I could be wrong. I mean it wasn't busy. Otherwise all good.

Very cute coffee with lovely owners! The barista was great and made the cutest decoration on my beetroot cacao drink with oat milk ✨ Lots of options for vegans Peaceful cafe to relax, there were also people on laptops inside, definitely a nice place!

We ate here for quick bite after Ankor Wat and it was great. Ordered beef lok lak and fish amok. Both dishes were a bit westernized but delicious, nonetheless. The mango shake was also good and not too sweet.
Mark N — Google review
A fabulous little cafe and restaurant. I’ve always had prompt service here and the staff are very welcoming. They have tons of vegetarian options—the zoodles and the veggie lasagna are awesome! They have plenty of meat options as well. The coffee is super flavorful, and I like the mocha quite a bit. They also have interesting twists on espresso drinks, like beetroot, purple potato, and butterfly pea lattes. Definitely worth trying out while you’re in town!
Christopher G — Google review
Lovely little spot that filled a hungry void while we were having a late lunch. The matcha latte with almond milk was lovely. The vibe was nice and the music was just how I'd like it. It's got lots of space so it's nice. I also ordered a passion fruit soda and that was nice too. The food we ordered was a green salad with hummus and falafel, with some Balsamic vinegar on the side. It was ok but you should never expect an explosion of flavour with that dish anywhere. The chickpea salad was lovely and was highly recommended. While it was hot outside, the inside was really lovely, not too cold either. Would come back again

The Village Bakery & Cafe is a charming spot in Siem Reap that offers an array of delectable baked goods, including breads, baguettes, pretzels, cakes, pies, cookies, and tarts. Their breakfast and lunch menu is small but delicious, and they also serve great coffee. The bakery's dessert case is filled with tempting homemade treats that are sure to make your mouth water.
A very delicious coffee place. I took the vegan falafel pita (which I'm not sure was vegan. I think it contains dairy, so make sure if that is something that is important to you). It was very tasty, different from the original falafel (as it was baked), but it was still delicious. Then, I ordered the carrot cake. In terms of taste, it was delicious, but I think the carrot cake layers should be higher. So the cream cheese to cake portions will be better. The place is pricey, but this is Western food, so that makes sense. The service is super good. They are so lonely. Overall, highly recommend!

It wasn't very busy but it was a good stop for a delicious slice of carrot cake. The guy who served me was very nice and polite. I definitely recommend 👍

I read good reviews about the cakes so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the carrot cake & lime cheese cake. However I find them too sweet for my liking.

I really enjoyed the food here, I had a falafel pita and iced americano for a late breakfast. There are a lot of different pastries 🍰 to try. Very nice place
Cristina C — Google review
I stopped at The Village just to have an iced coffee for $3.30. Needless to say, I paid for the ice and not the coffee; there was more ice than coffee. If you order any iced coffee, please inform the barista to go easy on the ice. The atmosphere of The Village was comfortable for a workplace. I found one member of the staff as unpleasant.

The best bakery and Café in Siem Reap - an absolute must-visit! 🥨☕🍰 They have the most delicious pretzels in town, and honestly the carrot cake is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Every dish, from breakfast to lunch to sweet treats, is fresh, full of flavor, and made with so much love. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special 💛 If you’re in Siem Reap, don’t miss this place - it’s a true gem and will make your trip unforgettable ✨

If you're on the hunt for a delightful treat in the city center, look no further than Khmer Dessert & Fruit Shake. This charming spot offers an array of refreshing fruit smoothies and authentic Khmer-style desserts, all served at outdoor tables that invite you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. One standout dish is their coconut-pineapple filled caramel samosas, which are as delicious as they sound, especially when paired with rich caramel sauce and creamy ricotta ice cream.
Super nice Khmer desert in the city centre. One of those scarce places to find to have a bit of sugar

The shakes here are delicious and reasonably priced. The ladies that work here are incredibly nice. One of them even gave me an umbrella when it was raining heavily. Please also try the sandwich stands going South along the river from here!

When exploring the vibrant streets of Cambodia, one cannot miss the iconic street food stall experience. Among the highlights is nom banh chok, a traditional breakfast dish that features cold rice noodles topped with a fragrant green curry sauce. This dish has deep historical roots, as its preparation is even illustrated in ancient bas reliefs at Angkor temples, hinting at its origins during the Khmer Empire. While some may find it an acquired taste, it's certainly worth trying for those who are adventurous with their culinary choices.
