Fine dining restaurant
Cuisine Wat Damnak, a gem in Siem Reap, is celebrated for its innovative approach to traditional Khmer cuisine. Under the expert guidance of Chef Joannes Riviere, this restaurant artfully blends locally sourced ingredients with contemporary French techniques. The menu changes every two weeks, offering diners a unique tasting experience that showcases the best of Cambodian flavors. Set in a charming wooden house surrounded by lush greenery and local artwork, the ambiance is both romantic and inviting.
A TRULY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE! We initially made a reservation mistake by booking the day after we actually intended to visit. The front desk made us aware of this and noted they could still accommodate us. The property is beautiful with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails were delicious and the meal was something we will remember for years to come (we selected both the meat-based and vegetarian-based menu selections). This experience truly elevated our trip in Cambodia and made for a very special evening. Thank you to the entire front- and back-of-house staff!!!

Had a great experience here — the service was excellent, drinks were well-crafted, and the tasting menu was definitely interesting. I enjoyed some dishes more than others, but really appreciated the creativity and the nod to Khmer heritage. Definitely worth recommending.
TN L — Google review
Perfect in every way! We ordered one of each tasting menu. Every dish was creative, beautifully presented and included a wonderful blend of tastes.
Pam F — Google review
The experience we needed! The food was delicious, I had the vegetarian menu and I should say, chefs in Europe have to learn from this… not the usual vegetarian ingredients, but delicious surprising flavors! I really enjoyed it! The service was very good and the place is not that expensive if you consider the level of the service and food. Highly recommended!
Francesca L — Google review
For me the flavours really hit nicely. Maybe lacking in a little animal protein. The only miss for the night was the cocktail. I ordered the ginger martini and the flavours tasted muddled instead of the clean crisp flavours you expect from a martini.

we had an amazing dinner here, we loved every dishes they are all very good. Drink menu is also very good

During our visit to Siem Reap, my husband and I dined at Cuisine Wat Damnak, renowned as Cambodia’s first restaurant to feature in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants. Despite a branch in Phnom Penh, we chose the Siem Reap location for its distinguished recognition. Reservation: We booked several days in advance through the restaurant’s website, accessible via their Google Maps listing. Upon arrival, the restaurant was fully booked, highlighting the importance of early reservations. Dining Experience: We selected the 8-course tasting menu at $45 per person; a vegetarian option was available at $38. Beverages were charged separately. The dinner lasted about two hours. While not every dish suited our tastes, we appreciated the innovative flavor combinations and the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Service: The service was impeccable, with staff demonstrating extensive knowledge of each dish and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Final Thoughts: As enthusiasts of fine dining, we prioritize visiting top-rated restaurants in every city we explore. Our visit to Cuisine Wat Damnak in Siem Reap was a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend it to those seeking a unique culinary experience in Cambodia. Special thanks to ChatGPT for the recommendation; it truly enhanced our journey.
Oxana V — Google review
Wow! This was an incredible experience! The chefs carefully crafted each dish to develop a complex yet balanced masterpiece. Each course was unique and brought out the unique flavours of Cambodian cuisine with a touch of French mastery! Overall, this was our favourite restaurant and we have been to others, such as the Embassy Khmer Gastronomy, which was more expensive and tasted so much worse. We really recommend it and the price justifies the amazing dishes! You will feel very full at the end. This is on par with one Michelin star restaurant.

Vegetarian restaurant
Banlle Vegetarian Restaurant, which means "vegetable" in Khmer, is a charming farm-to-table eatery housed in a renovated wooden building. The restaurant offers an array of affordable European and Cambodian vegetarian and vegan dishes for breakfast and lunch. Guests can enjoy the minimalist dining room with garden views or take a tour of the compact organic urban farm.
We love this restaurant gem! We tried it on our first dinner in SR and ate in the very intimate and pretty garden - the food was delicious! Went again for the lunch menu and there are so many options for vegan, well listed on the menus, and again the food was excellent, will definitely come back! 👌 Tofu salad is so excellent and first time we taste such a good salad sauce in Asia, and all the other dishes were very tasty!
Anne J — Google review
Amazing restaurant, with great staff and even better food. The portions are rather large hence I’d recommend one main per person. The pad Thai was really nice but it was so much food, highly recommended it. French onion soup was amazing!
Augustas J — Google review
I ordered the Spaghetti with Smoked Dry Mushroom. It was so good & creamy. I really enjoyed it. However, as I was dining outdoor, it was really hard to call for the waitress. But she was quick to come when I finished my meal, to clear the dishes. I didn't even call for her. Service could have been better.
Sarah L — Google review
Outstanding vegan food! The best I had in Cambodia. Everything is super fresh, delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. The waitresses are very nice and observant. I came here twice during my stay and would’ve come more often, if I had just found it earlier. Vegan variantions of Khmer food are absolutely amazing!
Anni P — Google review
I loved the food here! I ordered mushroom lok lak for myself and Khmer curry for my mom and we both enjoyed our meals! The serving sizes are more than enough for one person and the prices are great, too! We also ordered juice which I thought was just okay
Isabella C — Google review
The best restaurant I’ve been to in Cambodia! Delicious food, extremely friendly staff, and a spotless, clean ambiance (even the kitchen, which you could easily see, was very clean) I highly recommend this place. I stayed in Siem Reap for 5 days and had both lunch and dinner here every single day!
Daniel G — Google review
WOW!!! The menu is so varied and everything looks amazing! We had lasagna and loklak and we loveddddd them! The staff were very kind and the place is so cute and designed beautifully. And prices are ridiculous compared to normal.
Shaked K — Google review
I had my first every meal in Cambodia here. I had a good impression on my first dining experience that I ended up coming back here the second time. I never had Khmer cuisine before coming to Cambodia, and also had limited knowledge. I did some research prior to this trip, searched through menus of local vegetarian and vegan restaurants. As Siem Reap was my first stop, this one stood out as it had quite a handful of vegan versions of well-known Khmer dishes beyond lok lak and amok (which I could also easily find at non-vegetarian restaurants). For my first night/visit, I ordered the traditional Khmer prahok ktis. This came with a bowl of white rice, which I found wasn't enough - so I requested a second bowl one I finished that. The prahok ktis consisted of small tofu cubes in fermented sauce, and was paired with Thai/green eggplants, cucumbers, green beans, lettuce, and cabbage. I really liked this dish despite my lack of experience consuming this dish. On my second visit, I went with one other person, who isn't vegetarian nor vegan, but liked this restaurant. I had the Khmer korko and the Battambang orange mimosa. I found the drink refreshing and it's nice to have non-alcoholic mocktail options. The korko was good too, with some roasted sticky rice, lemongrass and vegetables in it. Served with rice as well. There were indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit indoors as I wanted air conditioning. And it was quiet too. Service was decent.

Cambodian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Wat Damnak, JOMNO - Modern Khmer Cuisine is a culinary gem that beautifully marries tradition with innovation. Under the expert guidance of Chef Seiha Chomnab, this charming restaurant has become a beacon for plant-based fine dining.
We stopped here for lunch as we were recommended by a friend, and we were certainly not disappointed! From the moment we sat down the service was impeccable, providing us with complementary snacks with our paid drinks as well complementary bread and butter. The atmosphere was relaxing and the menu was easy to comprehend. I would recommend ordering the chicken & mozzarella croquette as a starter, as well as mains including the beef tenderloin steak and grilled chicken. The prices are agreeable also.

If you come to Siem Reap and don’t go to This gorgeous modern Khmer restaurant you are truly missing out. World class food and service (shout out to our server Reaksa, who was fantastic). Super reasonably priced for top notch quality.

Jomno Restaurant – Amazing dining experience in Siem Reap! 🍽️ Fresh, flavorful dishes with beautiful presentation from the aromatic pork & prawn starter to the perfectly main course grilled steak and crispy-skin fish. Great mix of local flavors with western. Service was attentive and friendly, modern and traditional atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!
Thorn V — Google review
I had the pleasure of dining at Jomno Restaurant recently, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations without being overbearing. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. I tried the Fish Amok and it was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The ingredients were clearly fresh and high quality. We also shared a dessert, the Ice-cream Vanilla, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Beyond the food, the ambiance was just right—cozy yet stylish, with soft lighting and a relaxed vibe. Whether you're looking for a date night spot, a place to celebrate with friends, or just a great meal out. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Yu L — Google review
Rushed meal because I had a bus to catch but the food was 10/10 Just grabbed a portion of the Crispy Amok Salad which was truly great. The place is done up well and the service is truly great. Pre-meal they serve some seasoned peanuts and fresh hot bread which was really good. This one deserves another visit and I hope to be back in Siem Reap again!

Amazing restaurant. Nice, romantic and pleasant settlement. The food is great and personal very kind. Will come back!

A must try while in Siem Reap, great location, quant property with outside garden sitting, modern comfortable inter decor. Tentative service, large creative menu of flavors with a wine list selection to match…The Grilled Chicken & Kokor Stew is my favorite, (can’t get enough), great for lunch or dinner. 🍷
Scott M — Google review
Service was impeccable. The service staff were professional and very responsive. The ambience of the restaurant was great. The food was just alright but the initiative of the staff made up for it all! Case in point - there was a dish we found very salty. When we gave the feedback it was very salty, the feedback was positively received.

Cambodian restaurant
The Sugar Palm is a stunning restaurant in the Wat Bo neighborhood, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with its dark-wood finishes, timber blinds, and potted bamboo palm accents. Owner and chef Kethana Dunnet is dedicated to reviving traditional Khmer cooking that was nearly lost during the Khmer Rouge era. The menu features house specialties passed down through generations, including the famous fish amok.
Great little place for nice Khmer food! Run by a local. Cooked by a local. Managed by a local. Reservations were made, though not needed in the low season (July). Was a recommendation of our hotels F&B Director (thks Medhi). Food prep takes a while, be patient and go early if famished. The fish amok, squid with Kampot peppers & seasonal veggies were our favs. The ribs weren’t as big a hit
Bren S — Google review
The food was good, but not remarkable. Ribs and curry were very good. Salads were good, but beef skewers had a rigid texture, hard to bite and spring rolls too fatty, grilled fish was not grilled as I expected, it tasted as a boiled fish and had lots of bones… but probably it’s a local recipe that I personally don’t appreciate. So we couldn’t eat much of this fish. Also, the place gets very busy for dinner, so long wait time for main courses. The restaurant indicates 30-40 mins wait time on their menu.
Ida S — Google review
We were recommended this place which was a great recommendation. I would advise booking ahead as we had to sit outside as there was no other space. Sitting outside was actually preferable for us, next to the fish in the pond, the light was dimmer than inside, the temperature balmy and it all led to a great vibe. We can highly recommend the pineapple and chilli margarita along with the fish Amok. Service was good, this place is definitely worth a visit.
And G — Google review
Nice atmosphere with a large dining room all in wood. Cambodian classics well executed, ok wine list and service. Good address to enjoy Cambodian food in an upscale environment but friendly prices.
Kevin M — Google review
Lovely skewers, nicely marinated. The morning glory dish was delicious. The grilled fish, however, was not seasoned at all, which is too bad because it was cooked properly. Nice venue and good service.
JP F — Google review
The Sugar Palm seems to attract its crowd largely because the chef taught Gordon Ramsay how to make fish amok, but overall, it’s not as impressive as the hype suggests. The fish amok was good but overly coconuty. Most of the other dishes were unimpressive. The crispy fried spring rolls and pomelo salad were average, the kor ko fish soup and squid with Kampot pepper were just passable, and the grilled eggplant with minced pork was overly sweet without any grilled flavor. The fried shrimp fritters and coconut ice cream were decent though. The restaurant also lacks air conditioning and good ventilation (standing outside was actually cooler), and got really noisy when more diners came in, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. Servings are not big (we shared seven dishes among four people), but acceptably priced. Reservations recommended as there's a queue after 7pm.

Fantastic Cambodian restaurant. Food was great, tasty and fresh. Pleasant surroundings with very good service. Highly Recommend

Venue : The Sugar Palm The positive : first greeted by friendly staff into a well furnished restaurant. Food was prepared and presented perfectly. The Kampot Pepper Squid was stunning. Cooked well and the right choice of pepper to accompany it. The negative : None Summary : A quality restaurant with food prepared and presented perfectly. If you’re after fine cuisine then this is a place to visit.

Coffee is waaayy more pricey than other local coffee shops. However the food is good. We had two different sandwiches and both were tasty. But seriously, a coffee cost as much as a main dish.

⭐️I’ve been here 3 times already, really great food and vibes - Service : very friendly and serve us really well - Food : We tried English Breakfast and their Brother Bong Burger, really tasty. Last time, I tried their fruit yogurt, really fresh as well. - Overall : 10/10 we had a great time.

A nice open air cafe/restaurant. No AC, but plenty of fans. Nice, clean interior with a jungle hut feel. I had a breakfast burger and iced latte. Both very tasty and well priced. I'd visit again and try other menu items for sure. I had a little difficulty asking for a second bun with my burger, but that is my fault not knowing how to speak in the local dialect. The staff were very apologetic (unnecessarily) and were able to interpret my request correctly... I appreciate their polite commitment to superior service.

When you find yourself in the vibrant town of Siem Reap, make sure to carve out some time for a delightful culinary experience at Il Forno. Nestled conveniently near Pub Street, this charming Italian eatery is celebrated for its mouthwatering wood-fired pizzas and homemade pasta that transport your taste buds straight to Italy. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between stylish and unpretentious, making it an inviting spot for both casual diners and food enthusiasts alike.
I lived in Italy for 7 years and this restaurant reminds me of it. The pizza bite was very nostalgic. The taste is the same as being in Italy. It's also not very expensive for a foreign food restaurant. The staff is very nice and speaks English quite well. The owner is Italian a very pleasant surprise indeed. I love the Italian music and the arrangement of the restaurant.

We had a great meal at Il Forno! It was a very friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. Our food (tagliatelle bolognese and pesto and ricotta tortellini in tomato sauce) was delicious and so fresh, very authentic. Would highly recommend ◡̈

Beautiful little Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and lovely staff. Definitely recommended if you’re craving some western comfort food. The lasagne and garlic bread was heavenly.
Rachel H — Google review
We went there as a family for dinner. The ground floor was still being renovated. The size of the big pizza is bigger than standard 30cm diameter pizza. We ordered many pizzas, and we enjoyed the toppings. The chilli oil was not too spicy for me.
TNL — Google review
Our daughter has Celiac disease and we loved this place! We went three of our four nights in Siem Reap. She enjoyed Gluten-free pasta, fillet steak, and lamb. No cross contamination! Owner completely understands the importance of gluten free prep and cooking so much that he does NOT offer GF pizza because of one wood oven. For normal eaters, we enjoyed authenticity wood fired pizza, caprese and buffala salad, steak, veal, and fabulous tortellini and other pastas. They even have meatballs for our son. As a family from Italy, We are very critical of restaurants being “true Italian”. Don’t worry! This one certainly is. Owner from Bergamo. Menu is excellent and seasonal featured menu is even better. Lastly, service is amazing. Their staff are so attentive that they read your mind before putting down your glass. Go!
Chistian P — Google review
Il Forno is a cute little Italian-inspired restaurant that offers a cozy dining experience. Although the space is on the smaller side, there’s ample seating available, and the menu provides a good variety of options to choose from. We ordered the Tortelli with Ricotta and Pesto, as well as the Lasagna. Both dishes were tasty, but the Tortelli could have been even better with the option of some Parmesan cheese. The Lasagna, while enjoyable, didn’t quite have the rich tomato and herb flavors we expected from a traditional lasagna. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and attentive, making for an overall pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a quaint spot with solid Italian dishes, Il Forno is worth a visit.

She explained every step with care and shared fascinating stories and history behind each dish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole team was so warm and welcoming. We can’t recommend them enough — they truly deserve all the support! Thank you again, Sopheap, for your time and generosity. You’ll always be our number one teacher! 😍

Paper Tiger is a great spot for a casual meal with a few highlights worth mentioning. The beer is cheap, making it an ideal place to relax without spending too much. The service is friendly, with staff ensuring a pleasant experience throughout your visit. The environment is decent—not overly fancy, but comfortable enough for a laid-back meal. The standout item on the menu is the Loklak burger, which is flavorful and satisfying, definitely worth trying. If you’re looking for affordable drinks, good food, and friendly service, Paper Tiger is a solid choice!

We booked the Paper Eatery Cooking Class through Klook, and it was easily one of the best experiences of our Siem Reap trip! Chef Sinoun was incredibly cheerful, bright, and helpful. She provided a wonderful tour of the local market, explaining all the ingredients, and then guided us through the cooking process. Her instructions on cutting and cooking were clear and easy to follow. It was a truly enjoyable and memorable experience, perfect for friends and family. We also appreciated the opportunity to meet and interact with people from various countries. Highly recommend!

Really good experience in this restaurant who has a Tintin theme. The atmosphere is chill and nice. The dishes are very tasty and completely affordable. The chicken curry was simply awesome !

Cooking class was a wonderful experience. Chef Channy was so kind and patient. She is funny and personable. I really enjoyed the class. Most of all, I can’t believe I made such delicious and beautiful food. I made the green mango salad with chicken, Amok (chicken version, I don’t eat seafood) and the fried banana in a passion fruit sauce. She can tailor the class for food allergies and preferences. I took the 10:00 am class and so glad I didn’t eat breakfast. The market tour was really informative, she explained what vegetables were used in which dishes. Learning (trying) to make carrot roses what so much fun, even if mine never worked out.

Good food and service. Nice little early dinner stop for us before night out. You do eat here knowing it's in the heart of Pub Street, so the bass is pumping all night and if that bothers you, you'll most certainly question all the praise reviews given here. We sat outside the lane way watching the world go by with cold beer and great food.

Café Indochine Restaurant in Siem Reap is a long-standing establishment that has been offering exceptional hospitality and quality tourism experiences since its inception in 2015. Housed in a traditional Khmer wooden building, this upscale restaurant on Sivatha Street provides an elegant setting for a classy dining experience.
Went with a group of 7 people for dinner and we were all impressed! We are Canadians traveling with a group and the Indochine was across the street from our hotel so super convenient. It is decorated with lights and has a nice atmosphere. I think only the lower level is air-conditioned. We fit better up top so they turned in all the fans and brought us cool cloths which was great. We ordered a variety of dishes: lettuce salad rolls, yellow noodles with chicken, tamarind shrimp, steak and salmon as well as some coconut and pineapple fruit shakes. All were enjoyed. My friend and I require gluten free food and that was also easily accommodated which was appreciated. Our bills were conveniently separated for us to pay in American $ and the prices were around 9-11$ a meal. We liked it so much, we went back for lunch the next day.

The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and inviting, making it a truly lovely place to unwind. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally lovely and attentive, providing top-notch service. ✨ Tried Seafood Tom Yum and it was delicious. The seafood itself was very fresh. Coupled with the fantastic ambience, it created a memorable dining experience. Definitely would go back 🤗🤗

Café Indochine is located on the way from our hotel to Angkor Pub Street. Every time we passed by Café Indochine restaurant at night, we were drawn in by its beautiful exterior and the sparkling interior decorations, so we decided we had to dine here once. The dining environment was great, and the food was delicious. The whole dining experience felt like celebrating Christmas, making it a wonderful experience.

Incredible Khmer cuisine. I highly recommend "Discovery Café Indochine" for one. The sour fish soup was amazing. I returned for lunch for the Beef Saraman, tender and delicious.

Went for the cocktail happy hour; great cocktails at a good price. Tried the Discord Café Indochine (for one person) and the Tasting Menu from Southern Cambodia (for two); the portions were generous, and they serve as much rice as you want. I came with some Khmer friends, and it was fabulous. I was seriously surprised, we stayed for two hours to enjoy it all as much as we could. The experience, in and of itself, was lovely; the tables and traditional wooden house complemented each other well. 100% worth stopping by!

Nestled in the heart of Siem Reap, New Leaf Eatery is a charming not-for-profit café that doubles as a community hub for book lovers. This delightful spot offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy everything from refreshing fruit shakes to hearty meals. The breakfast selection is diverse, featuring treats like blueberry pancakes and traditional Khmer dishes such as pork rice and noodle soup. For lunch or dinner, don’t miss their unique takes on local favorites like fish amok and beef lok lak.
Found this jewel on Google and so glad we had lunch here. Bright, clean environment with friendly and sweet employees. I had my eye on the salads until I spied chili on the menu. My husband had the steak and ale which is basically a beef pot pie and he described it as true comfort food. The menu has pretty much anything to fill your cravings. It is rated high for a reason.

My partner and I had lunch here and were so glad we did! Stacks of vegan/vegetarian options and gluten free options too. Nuts were also clearly marked on the menu and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. My partner had a chicken burger, which he enjoyed, served with chips and salad. I had the Khmer vegetable curry and the flavour was excellent. We also had drinks - iced americano and homemade limeade and these were nice. I had the vegan dark chocolate ice cream to finish and it was literally the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had. Super rich and creamy. The menu was a great mix of options and had both western and traditional style dishes. The venue was kept cool with fans and they have a range of sustainability initiatives that make you feel even better about dining there. They also have some retail items for sale that are local/support charities/great initiatives. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. They have live music sometimes too. We’re only in Siem Reap for a few days, but might make it back for another meal, we enjoyed it so much. Edit: we came back twice more! Some of the lovely staff recognized us when greeting us. We had more burgers (mine without buns, so the photos don’t look great, but the taste was excellent!) and my partner also enjoyed the home made chicken pie. I had the ice cream every visit (which the staff definitely noticed and giggled at) because I couldn’t go past it. Literally the best vegan ice cream ever.

A lovely place. We came here twice because it was so good! We had the spiced bean burger with chips, the steak & ale pie, and the smashed avocado with poached eggs. You’re welcomed with a complimentary drink when you sit down, and it’s delicious. The staff are very friendly too. I highly recommend this place as it has plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians, a nice atmosphere, and delicious food.

I needed gluten free food while traveling, and this place did not disappoint! I had a breakfast smorgasbord, and it was super tasty. The hot cocoa (with soy milk) was tasty, although I did add a little sugar to it. I would definitely recommend this place to others with food allergies .

This place is a lovely gem in Siem Reap, we went twice during our stay - once for brunch and once for dinner. Loads of GF options, nice mix of western / Khmer options too. Staff are very friendly, highly recommended!

During my 6-day stay in Siem Reap, I kept coming back to this restaurant—it was that good! While it's not the cheapest option, it's definitely not the most expensive either. The price of the dishes is absolutely worth it, given the excellent quality of the food and service. After visiting so often, the lovely staff even started calling me “Sister” ♡, which made me feel so welcome. The vegan/vegetarian food is delicious, abundant, and perfect after a long day exploring temples. You really get what you pay for here, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

I love how this restaurant sells sustainable, Cambodian-made goods! Their menu selection is great and they have a fair amount of vegan/vegetarian options as well. Great service and the seating was comfy. I got their tofu mushroom larb. This was pretty good, more on the wet side and it lacked a bit of flavor in my opinion. We also got their frozen mango margarita, which was refreshing, but I didn’t taste the mango oddly enough. My companions got burgers with fries and they were very happy. The fries were delicious. The burger buns tasted homemade and fresh

Peace Cafe Vegetarian Restaurant is a budget-friendly haven for vegetarians and vegans, nestled along the Siem Reap riverside. The cafe offers a diverse selection of nutritious Khmer delights, juices, and salads in a tranquil tropical garden setting. In addition to serving delectable vegetarian fare, Peace Cafe hosts community programs such as free Khmer lessons and monk chats while also featuring a fair trade shop showcasing products crafted by local artisans.
A beautiful, tranquil spot with excellent food, drinks, and service. Staff were super attentive, our orders came out promptly, and we even received cold towels upon arriving 😄this social enterprise also includes a gift shop of locally made items. The grounds are beautiful and set back from the noise of the street and traffic. Toilets were great too 👌

Lovely big courtyard dining area, low season so the perfect place to eat as everything is made to order, nothing sitting around to play havoc with your insides! The staff greet you at the entrance, seat you, then bring you cold washcloths and local bug spray (which works fyi!) The menu is extensive and accompanied by brown jasmine rice, delicious! The fair trade shop is great, perfect place to stock up on gifts and souvenirs as there’s no hassling - you’re looking they turn on the lights, you stop looking they turn them off. Easy! Highly recommend for a relaxed and delightful eating experience. Ps. Cash only no cc

Crazy experience. OK: Location is tranquil, next to the river, seating is lovely with loungers and green spaces- happy thoughts of fresh and healthy sparkle through me as I read the menu ✨️ Then came time to order. I asked slooowly if the cheese in a dish was imported or organic. Google Translate promptly joined, but the waitress looked baffled, and like lighting, exchanged herself with another waitress - unfortunately, she, too, was bewildered, and she, too, couldn't understand the word "imported" or "organic." I pointed to the introduction in the meny: Pages on organic and sustainable tea production. I point to the word organic, then to the cheese dish. She froze. Then I mooed. I. mooed. 😆 And as if by cue, a third and final waiter came running down the stairs to confirm that it was not imported - the tea, no, no, not imported! The cheese I mooed, this time with genuine sadness/ madness. He ran back upstairs, panicking now. He made a call, and then it was confirmed: It's imported, the cheese he yelled down from the veranda in English, and the second waitress explains to me, as delicately as she can that yes ma'm, "the cheese is imported". At this point I'm too afraid to ask if it is...organic? I get the vegetable tempura, resigned. 40 minutes, a dish arrived with no spices inside, tasting of pure oil. Now. I understand these are young people, in school, in training, from villages, some maybe even on their first day on the job. I get we have some wierd expectation as tourists. That's why I give a star. But why why why have they not been trained to understand the words in the menu? It's like going to an advertised tango club 💃 but they can only do the worm. Bizarre, hilarious and exhausting experience for me, confusing and stressful for the staff. But the juice was good!

I went to Peace Cafe six times during my four days in Siem Reap, and it’s easily one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever found! I tried other vegetarian spots, but nothing compares to the fresh taste and excellent service here. Every dish is made with the freshest ingredients, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service is top-notch with the staff being so friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend this place, whether you’re vegan or not! They also offer yoga and cooking classes, but be sure to book in advance.

Olive Cuisine de Saison is an upscale restaurant in Siem Reap, housed in a renovated colonial building near Wat Preah Prom Rath. The interior boasts exposed brick walls, framed artwork of their star dishes, and comfortable cushioned seating. Chef Francois Morelle's passion for Mediterranean and French cuisine shines through the seasonal menu that features local seafood, poultry, and greens.
I treated myself to the three course prix fixe lunch menu (only $18) and it was amazing. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the service was attentive and the food was delicious.

Such a lovely spot! Olive Cuisine de Saison has a cozy and warm vibe with beautiful brick walls and a calm atmosphere. It’s a really nice and quiet place for couples, but also kid-friendly which makes it great for families too. The food was delicious — the French duck breast with orange mustard sauce was cooked perfectly, and the chocolate profiterole was the best sweet ending. Everything looked and tasted amazing. This charming, eco-conscious cafe is dedicated to serving exceptional brews in a cozy setting that features a large communal table and bar stools indoors, complemented by inviting outdoor seating surrounded by lush greenery. A Must-Visit in Siem Reap! The Little Red Fox is an absolute gem. Easily one of the best spots in town for a proper coffee fix. Their breakfast bagels also are next level, fresh, delicious, and generously filled. On top of that, the service is exceptional. Friendly, welcoming staff who genuinely care about what they do make the whole experience even better. A beautiful air conditioned multi level shop that also has a nice outdoor area out the front. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a relaxed breakfast, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

The coffee is great. Bagel is cold and seen better days. The melted cheese was hard like rock. Inform the server (not complaint, just let her know so that next customer dont suffer) and she was very kind to offer eggs or any other things to replace. We told her its ok, we are full but she still send a huge cookie and kept apologising. Very nice lady

Lovely cafe! Went for a quick morning coffee and a light breakfast before starting out the day. We arrived right after 7am - the service was spectacular with warm, attentive and friendly staff; the coffee was excellent having tried the Coconut Cinnamon Mocha, and the vegetarian omelet was delicious! (Definitely try the in-house hot sauce too!) There's some fantastic greenery if you opt for the second floor balcony spot, and a display of dragonflys that dance atop what I believe was a nearby Shikuwasa tree which was fantastic to watch! Couldn't ask for a better way to start a day! Definitely worth a visit!

From the outside this looks just like any other coffee shop, it's not. There is amazing attention to detail, the owners have put a lot of time and energy into training the staff and perfecting their coffee, drinks and food. I was having a conversation with one of the staff members and for a moment forgot I was in Cambodia. No, I'm not trying to disrespect Cambodia I'm just saying in 10 years I've not encountered customer service like this. I love the ambience, the fact that you have multiple areas you could sit and more menu choices than you can imagine. Yes, it is a coffee shop but it's special. P.s. that brownie.... Wow!!! Thank you.

Red Fox is a lovely spot that caters to tourists, which is pricey and is reflected in their menu prices. I treated myself to a large iced cappuccino for $3.25, and while it was nice, I think it could have been even better with just a little less ice. Pou Restaurant and Bar in Siem Reap offers a unique dining experience with its innovative Cambodian cuisine and expertly crafted cocktails. Chef Mengly's reimagined street food and Khmer family-style dishes, such as the num ban chok with local crab meat and the catfish with tamarind sauce, showcase a blend of traditional flavors and modern presentation.

It’s next to a big road which makes a lot of sound. We were seated next to the road. When we entered there were was only one other table right next to us. In the beginning there was normal music but it changed quickly to weird Korean pop rock music which was very loud. The waitress was quite slow and the food came out slowly as well. The beehive wasn’t crunchy it was very soggy. I also got the crab 🦀 rice noodles, it had a lot of shell in it and overall tasted shitty. The crab 🦀 looked like that as well. My husband had the vegetable curry which was really tasty. We had the dumplings as well I think you can get better at the street. The presentation of the food was really nice but the taste not. We prefer the latter to be better.

This is a hidden gem: it's not in the tourist center, but close to the Angkor National museum. The chef is award-winning, and the menu is very creative, while being reasonably priced (two main courses and two special juice mixes costed $20). On top of that they take credit cards. Our only regret was that we found it on our very last day in Siem Reap.

After researching the cooking classes in Siem Reap Pou Restaurant and Bar cooking class was highly recommended for an authentic class in Siem Reap traditional Khmer cuisine. I was picked up from my hotel in a TukTuk, then we went to the Phsar Leu Market, which was incredible. The class was well organised when we arrived with all the ingredients, equipment and utensils read to start the class. English was at a very high standard and everything was professionally and beautifully organised from start to finish. The food was fantastic, and so far it has been the culinary highlight of my trip to Siem Reap. I received the recipes via email to make again in the future. Artillery is a trendy and stylish cafe with branches in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The cafe boasts a retro design and an attractive outdoor courtyard, making it a favorite spot for visitors. It offers a wide range of conceptual vegan dishes, although the food quality can be inconsistent at times. The menu features vegan brunch favorites such as avocado sourdough toast with dukkah spice mix and chia coconut parfait.
Yesterday we had lunch at artillery. We really liked the stuff, they were very polite and attentive. They have very good and also veggie food (rather western style). We really liked that you can create your own healthy Bowl out of a large selection of delicious ingredients. Besides they have also sweet stuff, which we unfortunately didn’t try.

Wonderful, filling and healthy food. (Dish pictured is the sesame falafel) Poke bowl was awesome too. This café has been our go-to at least once a day. They also have happy hour for their wine and fresh takes on gin & tonics ($2.50!) using quality gin and ingredients. Their lattes are so yum, their coconut milk must be much closer to the real stuff than used in US cafés. Their mission is applaudable as well: reusable straws, local ingredients, and minimal plastic. It’s a little hard to find on the street, I walk past it almost every time, *still*. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem!

Incredibly tasty cauliflower cous cous salad. All ingredients were fresh and I got a side of chicken with mine also as im a Savage 😁 only small critique would be that the side chicken order could have done with a little more chicken for the 2dollars extra I paid I'd say it was only half of one fillet. Coffee was great and very well presented. To top it off I got a lovely free appetizer as a surprise as I waited for my meal, very tasty too. Staff are very friendly and a nice chill atmosphere with mellow music quietly playing in the background. I would highly recommend.

Yakiniku restaurant
Re:YOSAKU カンボジア国産牛タンRe:与作 is a hidden gem in Temple Town, offering authentic Japanese cuisine made with Cambodia beef tongue by a Japanese chef. Despite the limited menu options, the special tongue dish comes highly recommended. The restaurant is reasonably priced and known for its highball drinks. While the ambience may not be the best, many patrons plan to return for more of this unique dining experience.
The best Japanese style beef tongue in Cambodia! Super delicious. The salt and pepper was great too!
Ken G — Google review
Though it's been a little while since my visit, I realized I hadn't shared my thoughts here. My family and friends have been frequent patrons of this establishment, and it's become a must-visit for me too. In Cambodia, specialized restaurants are a rarity, especially those dedicated to beef tongue, and I would venture to say that this restaurant is the only one of its kind in the country. The diverse array of beef tongue dishes, unlike anything I've ever seen, completely captivated me. I distinctly recall ordering the meat sushi multiple times. While the staff may not have been numerous, their attentive service shone through. This is the kind of place I yearn to return to every time I'm in Siem Reap.

The beef tongue is so flavorful and the beef tongue garlic fried rice to also good.

Only beef tongue but that’s more than enough. Few choices. the special tongue is highly recommended. And get a gin and soda as well. Not the best ambience.
Thomas W — Google review
It's totally different from the quality of food and price in a good perspective. If you would like to have dinner reasonably, you must go there at least once.

It's a hidden gem, beautiful authentic japanese food made of Cambodia beef tongue, prepared by Japanese chef. Will definitely come back again and again. Reasonably priced. Should check their highball drink, so fresh.

Wat Damnak House is a renowned Siem Reap restaurant known for its use of local ingredients and French culinary techniques. It has gained recognition in the wider culinary world, with mentions from celebrity chefs and appearances on TV shows. The tasting menus change weekly, offering some of the finest food in the country. Additionally, it is conveniently located across the river from market areas and offers nearby laundry services and various dining options.
It is a cozy place for friends and family. Very well decorated, neat and nice. Amazing pool. Safe location. very near to night market and pub street.... Most recommended... 4 rooms have attached bathrooms and 2 are common bathrooms. Steps to the first floor are tricky to climb with luggage. Few rooms are smaller and difficult to move around or keep luggage.

Wat Damnak House is a very cozy and pleasant place. It's close to a tasty breakfast bar and other good restaurants where you can enjoy very good food. After visiting Angkor Wat Damnak House offers a pleasant pool surrounded by banana trees where you can relax and rest after a hot day.

Great location near many places to eat and quick walk to night market. Pool always very cool. Air con in rooms works great! Very nice cleaning staff and fast laundry service. You pay a premium for an on site massage but if you don’t want to walk a block or so to get one somewhere else it’s worth it.
Shauna G — Google review
Convenient location across river from market areas. Cheap laundry srrvices nearby. Plenty of great reataurants too. Small shops and convenients stores too. Set up has 6 or 7 bedrooms. Rooms are a little small with little room each side of double beds. Open area along ground floor bedrooms has large glass topped table but floor is loose gravel which spreads into rooms etc. Place serviced daily by efficient maid. Basic maintenance needed. Loose tap fittings, loose toilet seats, leaking basin fittings (temp repair undertaken while we were in residence), front gate lock difficult to use. Possibly expensive, but we were also meeting Khmer family from nearby hotel. Enthusiastic tuk tuk drivers close by. Try the Khmer Grill restaurant and nearby spas for enjoyable massage.

The coffee in siem reap city. Come enjoy every morning. Best place

Came here at 6am after night bus arrived in Siem reap at 5:30am. They were open since 5am for coffee ☕. Their coffee was very strong but tastely Abit sour and bitter (different tasting than black coffee in other coffee shops, maybe it's SIEM reap way). The atmosphere and surrounding is pretty pleasant and watching the beautiful sunrise from there is a spectacle as well.

When exploring the vibrant streets of Cambodia, one cannot miss the iconic street food stall experience. Among the highlights is nom banh chok, a traditional breakfast dish that features cold rice noodles topped with a fragrant green curry sauce. This dish has deep historical roots, as its preparation is even illustrated in ancient bas reliefs at Angkor temples, hinting at its origins during the Khmer Empire. While some may find it an acquired taste, it's certainly worth trying for those who are adventurous with their culinary choices.
