Kanha Sweets is a renowned establishment near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, offering a wide range of traditional Indian sweets and savory snacks. Their Puri Chole, served with spicy pickles and mint chutney, is a local favorite. Visitors can also enjoy their delectable Halwa or choose from an assortment of delicious sweets like Kaju Katli, Pinni, and Motichoor Ladoo.
Very delicious Aloo- Chole- Puri. Brunch/ Lunch or even suggested for breakfast. Garma garam puri is served.
RUTVIK D — Google review
Waiting can be of upto 15mins depending on the rush. We went for saturday brunch. chole were nice but not upto the mark. Pooris were absolutely amazing. Aloo ki sabji was sweet and didnt like it at all. Halwa was nice and something different. Lassi was also great. Sabjis were refillable without any charges and after 2 pooris, each poori cost 60 each.
Shwetank K — Google review
So went in Kanha sweets to have their much hyped poori bhaji and chole. Poori were hot and fresh. Chole were average in taste. The alloo kalaunji bhaji was sweet and tangy, I personally didn't like too much sweetness but it depends on person to person and you can decide. Lassi was very good in taste and it was not very sweet. Just perfect. If you group of max 8 ppl then it should be okay, more then that then probably you have to sit separately. Service is quick and fast. Staff is attentive and polite. Prices are reasonable as per portion and quality. You may have to wait for 30 to 45 mins if you visit on weekends or public holidays. Parking is bit of a hassle. Overall it was mix experience as the hype of not worth.
Nikhil P — Google review
My experience was excellent. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, but the standout dishes were definitely the aloo sabzi with poori chholey. The combination was flavorful and satisfying. The halwa also deserves a special mention – it was unique and incredibly tasty. A highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal!
Rashika S — Google review
There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful this place's poori is. If you are ever in Amritsar, you must not miss this place. Given the quality of their food, the prices are reasonable and the space is adequate. Also, the location is highly accessible. Must visit..!
Shreya A — Google review
Amritsars’s favourite breakfast place. Poori platter is the go-to for everyone here. They serve you a plate with salad Chole and Aloo sabzi which is sweet in taste. And then they serve you poori hot and fresh as they come. Do try halwa and gulab jamun after the poori breakfast. Sweets are to die for 😍
Rahul M — Google review
Food is good, especially the poori plate....but nothing outstanding, except for the tangy potato sabzi, which I haven't had anywhere else. Clean seating area, basic furniture. Do visit once for a taste.
Devendra M — Google review
Good dessert shop, I think I just don’t really like desserts here in India because most of them tasted the same. It’s very sweet, you feel the sugar under your teeth. The ones with nuts are better, more interesting than the ones that just have mostly sugar and oils. The staff didn’t know what to recommend us, and since we didn’t know about any of them we just picked randomly. They also added one more to make it to 250g. So we paid more because of that.

Dhaba
Vegetarian restaurant
Kesar Da Dhaba is a long-standing eatery located near the iconic Golden Temple in Amritsar. It is renowned for its rich and aromatic Punjabi thalis served in an old-fashioned setting. The menu features classic dishes like Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka, and Stuffed Paranthas prepared using authentic recipes passed down through generations and enriched with pure desi ghee.
Ordered special thali and I was not able to finish even half of it 🥺, they packed my half of the thali. Food is really delicious and phirni is must try. You can reach by walking, bike or toto/rickshaw. Cars cannot reach as it is located in a narrow street. Place is worth visiting if you want to try Punjabi dishes at its best.
Aamir H — Google review
I recently visited Kesar Dhaba and tried their stuffed naan thali with chole, dal, curd, and salad. The food was tasty and fulfilling, especially the naan which was well cooked with a nice balance of flavor. The chole was rich and spiced well, giving that authentic dhaba feel. That said, the service was on the slower side, and the ambiance felt quite crowded. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to regular dhabas, but the portion size was decent enough. Overall, it’s a good place to experience traditional North Indian food, especially if you’re craving naan and chole, but be prepared for some wait time and a busy environment. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3.5/5)
Ajay M — Google review
We visited here for lunch and ordered one special thali, dal fry, plain paratha, and rice. The dal was really good (you should taste) rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait for a table. This is definitely a must visit place in Amritsar, especially to try their famous dal.
Santhosh B — Google review
First of all, the seating is less with average ambience. Every staff was careless, 3 were sitting on corner tables where customer sits. One staff was standing next to the cashier lady(she might be the owner)and when she got up, he grabbed her chair and started us eating, which looks very weired and non-professional behaviour. The owner lady doesnt have control on her staff and all were careless EXCEPT one lady in uniform, at least she was running the show. Also, observed shortage ot items Lassi which is an all time favorite drink of every north indian. It seems that after the sad demise of the Original Owner, nobody cares about running this famous restaurent. The main part, which is hygeine-- Toilets were dirty, there is water in the Urinal even after having Sensor, used tissues were lying onthe floor instead of dustbin. The floor was wet and water can be seen under the Urinal. There is absolutely careless management who runs this premises very casually like- Ab itna purana naam hai hotel ka to chalana to padega na... I dont know why there is so much hype about this hotel when everybody facing issues. This is my genuine feedback,if anybody want to discuss with me then I will provide my mobile number. The Alloo Paratha,Ghee Roti,Boondi Raita were good. The Kadhai Paneer,Daal Tadka were average. Regards Akhhil Sharmma
Akhhil S — Google review
Food was average, but the desserts were amazing especially the phirni and Rasmalai (must must try). The restaurant had a very long waiting line, it takes almost 15-30 mins to get seated, after that the service is very fast.
Ishita K — Google review
If you’re visiting Amritsar, Kesar Da Dhaba is an absolute must-try for traditional Punjabi food. Their parathas and laccha naan are exceptionally tasty and full of authentic flavor. The service is quick and courteous, and the staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. The seating arrangement is decent, though the interior is quite basic and could be improved. The dhaba is located in a very crowded area, which makes it difficult to reach with a self-drive car — it’s best to park outside and take a rickshaw or tuk-tuk to get there. Overall, it’s a legendary spot for food lovers who want to experience true Amritsari flavors. Highly recommended! 🍽️

Best parathas I’ve ever had! Just perfect! The service was also exceptional. Our waitress served us with so much love.
Palash J — Google review
Loved everything about it. Chose the original seating area for the authenticity of the atmosphere. Food was soooo good!!! Almost missed the phirnis (was a bit heartbroken) but the staff miraculously brought two last plates of it. #fullOfGratitude I know this place does not require it but I highly recommend it.

A One Kulfa, located in Crystal Chowk, INA Colony, offers a delightful dessert experience with its signature dish. This Amritsari take on kulfi features layers of phirni rice pudding topped with scoops of falooda and kulfi, finished with rose water and rabri. The combination creates a rich and creamy texture that is perfect for cooling off during hot summer days.
Tried Kulfa here and it was absolutely amazing! A perfect blend of sweetness, creaminess, and refreshing flavors. Definitely a must-try dessert that leaves you satisfied till the last bite
Harshal S — Google review
Kulfa was absolutely delicious. It was prepared with falooda, ice cream, rabdi and crushed ice, the flavors were rich and creamy. The only downside was the heavy crowd, which made the experience a bit rushed, and the price felt slightly on the higher side. But overall, it's worth trying if you're a kulfa lover. Just be prepared for some waiting time during peak hours.
Nirbhay T — Google review
Visited the place after nearly five years, the taste was same, servings same, sad that the owner passed away and his childern have taken over, and was please see to them doing so well, the good additon was that place for sitting has increased, had their regulat kulfa and phrini , enjoyed both, Will again recommend visiting to anyone visiting Amristar. There are plenty of Kulfi Faluda makers across India, but this one is a stand out. We were a group of 8 and everyone was raving about their kulfi faluda right from the time they had their first bite. This one certainly has repeat value!!!
GAURAV M — Google review
In summers this is my almost every other night dessert. The kulfa i amazing, my whole family loves it. After dinner we would drive their and have it. You can order in car they will bring it you. Weekends they are very busy could take some time to get it but usually not very busy however the road is full with cars waiting for kulfa. Service is quick and kulfa is 💯 delicious, creamy 😋
Gursimranjit K — Google review
A must-visit for all dessert lovers! The creamy kulfa, topped with falooda and crushed ice, is pure indulgence. Perfect balance of flavors—sweet, refreshing, and unforgettable. True Amritsari delight!
Anuj M — Google review
A-One Kulfa, Amritsar – A Must-Try Dessert! A-One Kulfa serves a delicious mix of ice cream, falooda, and rich rabri — not traditional kulfa, but a unique, flavorful treat. It’s creamy, refreshing, and perfect for Amritsar’s weather. Popular with locals and visitors alike, this dessert is a must-try when in the city. Simple, sweet, and truly satisfying!
Ankur V — Google review
The best Kulfa Ever. My kids are this for the first time and they loved it. They loved it so much, that we end up eating two bowls each. This is one of the place you must visit when in Amritsar, we tired many different kulfis and Nothing beats the one they sell here. This has now become our first stop and last stop in Amritsar. Sorry, it was so good we only had pics of empty plates!!!
Vishal — Google review
Amritsar has many small hidden gem kinds of eateries. And this is one among them. Based on the recommendation from Google I decided to visit this place in the evening. The ambience of the place is pretty basic. The food preparation area is located at the entrance and the dining area is located inside. They have decent seating capacity with 5-6 tables. Nothing much in terms of decor. The service is very quick and welcoming. I was greeted well and suggested to go with Special Kulfa as I acknowledged that I'm trying it for the first time. The dessert was served quickly. The Special Kulfa was unique and I have not tried anything like this before. Sweetness was well balanced as per my liking. It's a mixture of Kulfi, malai, icecream & samiya. A small bowl was so heavy on my tummy that I had to skip dinner on that day. So, if you are trying it for the first time, be ready for a lazy day. The hygiene factor is satisfactory in the whole restaurant. They accept UPI payments. Overall, I really liked this unique desert for its balanced sweetness and quality dairy ingredients. Highly recommended if you have a sweet tooth. -BeingBakasura

Novelty Sweets & Restaurant is a must-visit spot in Amritsar, located at the corner of Lawrence Rd. and Mall Rd. The place offers a variety of delicious treats such as chole puri that locals swear by for its rich flavors and layers. It's a great place to stop by with family for quick bites like chats and sweets, offering a wide range of options with consistent quality.
Had ordered Sohan Pappdi. Excellent taste. Packing also neat and clean. Highly recommend.

- Puri choley is fine (Nothing like Wow!) - Good thing is use of spices is moderate - I tried lassi (it is also fine) - Service is good. Staff is nice and polite - Rate of menu is fine - They levied service charge. That is optional - You have to park on the footpath - Overall average experience nothing great
Maun S — Google review
I always have Dahi Bhalla here. They are just best. Sweets are a bit overpriced and I'm not sure if they make it in pure ghee. So, never tried their sweets.
Sushant K — Google review
My last visit to this restaurant was a bit disappointing. Although they have an extensive and impressive menu, the food served did not meet my expectations in terms of taste and quality. I also noticed that the cutlery was not cleaned properly, which affected the overall dining experience. However, the ambience of the place is quite decent and pleasant. I hope they work on improving the food quality and hygiene, as the restaurant has good potential.
Sanjana S — Google review
I’m extremely disappointed with the experience. I received a call from one of your agent "Ria" who misled me into making a purchase under false information. The details provided during the call were completely different from what I received after the transaction. This feels like a clear case of fraudulent selling, and it’s completely unacceptable. Later, I found out it was a scam. There was no support or accountability from the Novelty platform. This has completely broken my trust in Novelty online shopping through this site. Its my last shopping with Novelty Sweets.
Radha M — Google review
I visited Novelty thinking it was a pure veg and clean restaurant. I ordered a paneer dosa and to my shock I found a big hair inside it on my very first few bites. I complained politely and the waitress apologized and replaced it. However, when I ordered the same dish again I found hair again in the dosa. I complained once more still politely but by then I had lost my appetite. I had been traveling all day, hadn’t eaten for 8–9 hours and was extremely hungry but after this experience I felt nauseous and disgusted. I decided not to order food anymore and just asked for a cup of coffee. Instead of showing true concern or offering compensation they even overcharged me for the coffee. The only positive I noticed was that the washrooms were clean but the food hygiene was unacceptable. Finding hair in my food twice is shocking and disappointing especially in Amritsar near the Golden Temple where people expect a higher standard of cleanliness and trust in pure veg restaurants. What if I hadn’t noticed and accidentally eaten it? Hygiene is non-negotiable and this experience was highly disappointing. I will never ever visit this restaurant again. I absolutely hate it. This is very bad and far below even basic standards. Highly unhygienic, highly irresponsible and a complete waste of money. Overall: I do not recommend Novelty for food.
RoMa N — Google review
Sweets are off varied quality and there are a lot of different delicacies to choose from. Minor complaint regarding the management which is a bit sore during peak hours and can improve upon the same.
Samar — Google review
Their methai tastes so awful. They are known top 1 methai shop in amritsar but every time we bought methai it's very ddisappointing. It tastes spoiled like it's been sitting in the shop for days and they have always prepackaged to sell so consumers won't notice that it's old.

Bharawan da dhabha very famous in Amritsar next to Brothers dhabha actually in previous they are one now last year's they seperate. Kulcha aloo and spl paneer kuclha are very tasty and delicious special sweet lassi actually very meethi and tasty, crowded place and large dining area

Delicious and authentic food. Not like what they serve in every other states. Good quality and quantity. Lassi was good too. Aloo stuffed kulcha was a treat for the taste buds.

Visited Bharawan Da Dhaba for lunch and had a great experience. The place is located right in front of the Partition Museum and truly feels like one of the vintage, iconic spots in Amritsar. We ordered chur chur naan and kulcha, both of which were absolutely delicious — crispy, flavourful, and perfectly made. The only thing that could be improved is the chutney, which felt like it could have had a richer taste to match the amazing food. Overall, a must-visit place for authentic Amritsari flavours!

Kulcha Land is a popular spot in Amritsar, known for serving classic North Indian specialties, including breakfast options. One of their mouth-watering delicacies is the Bheega Kulcha, made from dough balls of fine flour and smothered in chickpea gravy with various spices. The menu also features stuffed naan in options like potato, cauliflower, and paneer served with white butter.
Amritsari kulche ki jitni tareef suni thi.. sab ekdum 100% sahi proof hui, once I had the amritsari kulcha with chole and pyaz ki chutney here.. Their kulchas are offcourse made of maida but they are very crunchy and flaky.. even their stuff kulchas were so light on stomach... I think I never had such a tasty lassi what I had here.. as gud ki lassi.. v bloggers unnecessary made hype of Giani di peda lassi.. it's worthless. Its like any other normal lassi only... But the taste of kulcha land gud lassi is the one who can compete with any famous lassi of world.. We reached their in morning 8.45.. But it opens at 9.30.. that 30 min wait is worth... Though I don't like their aata kulcha and paneer masala kulcha was average.. but chola and pyaz chutney compensated for all.
Sneha A — Google review
Kulchas were good but nothing special that makes it so talked about. You may get similar kulchas anywhere in Amritsar. The staff is courteous and the service is fast. Limited menu with around 7-8 kinds of Kulchas only served with chhole and imli chutney. If you are in Ranjit Avenue you may try this however no need to travel long distances in the city just for this. We had Amritsari and Paneer Masala Kulcha.
Harshit A — Google review
We tried Amritsari Kulcha, Masala Kulcha and Panner Kulcha. Out of all Paneer Kucha is the yummiest. Masala Kulcha has to be the least liked. Gud ka Halwa was really delicious.

For a first time visit, it's a good stop for getting the belly filled with good food. As the name suggests they specialise in kulchas, specifically just 6. But each have their own "swad". And, when in Punjab, lassi is a must - try it is all I'm saying. Obviously to each their own, but if going along this road, do stop by.

i had one of the best kulchas in amritsar in the place - kulcha land.. place was very ordinary with no toilets and washroom... but the food was delicious.. we fell in love with the kulchas... i will surely visit this place again when i go back to amitsar..

Amazing Amritsari Kulchas. Perfectly made and served with chana and chutney. No complaints. Lassi both sweet and salty were delicious. I wish they also served Tea.

Taste of kulcha was adequate. The workers were cleaning table and carrying kulcha's with bare hands. Hygiene was not maintained.you would have to sit at a sharing table.

The place is famous but the food is ordinary. You can get ₹30- ₹40 kulcha in a normal kulcha shop .I think the price is high according to the taste and size of the kulcha. There are many people working here Hence they are charging extra for that . You can visit any nearby kulcha place instead of this . Nothing special here .IF YOU WANT TO HAVE KULCHA YOU CAN COME TO HERE . BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING EXTRA ITS NOT THE PLACE ITS A NORMAL PLACE. The parking area is great .No toilet nearby . The size of the kulcha is small .🥘

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience in Amritsar, look no further than Prem Nath Kulche Wale. Nestled in a quaint street, this charming eatery is well worth the venture. The warm hospitality of the owner shines through as he offers excellent recommendations from their extensive menu, which features an array of tempting options that make it hard to choose just one! The establishment maintains a clean environment and has clearly won over many locals with its offerings.
The shops opens at 7:30 am and we were the first guests in. My partner is vegan and they were able to accommodate her with the Amritsari kulcha and the garlic kulcha. He specifically didn’t use ghee and used oil instead. He prepared a separate dough for her which didn’t use ghee for the kulchas. Finding a vegan friendly kulcha is best impossible in Amritsar, but they went above and beyond to accommodate her. (I’m guessing since we were the first ones in it wasn’t much of a hassle.) I tried the regular ghee prepared patty kulcha and the garlic kulcha, it was absolutely delicious. Possible the best kulchas I’ve had. . They have a self serve Chana masala and tamarind/onion chutney. They did add paneer as garnish but they brought a separate bowl of Chana for her. The owner is very sweet and accommodating and I would highly recommend those wanting a vegan kulcha to go visit this first thing when they open

Prem Nath Patty Kulchee wale is a hidden gem tucked inside a narrow galli, giving it that authentic, off-the-beaten-path feel. Despite its modest setting, it’s a favorite among food lovers for its hearty Punjabi flavors and no-frills charm. The moment you step in, the smell of freshly made parathas and curries welcomes you warmly. The highlight here is, without doubt, the parathas—crispy on the outside, soft and generously stuffed inside, served with rich butter, tangy pickles, and creamy curd. Their dal, sabzi, and roti also carry that homemade touch, prepared fresh and served hot. Portions are generous, and the taste remains consistently good. Recently, the dhaba gained extra attention when a popular actor visited, adding a touch of celebrity buzz to its name. Prices are a little on the higher side compared to a typical dhaba, but the quality, flavor, and portion size make it worth every rupee. Reaching here might require a little navigation through the galli, but the effort is well rewarded. With its quick service, friendly staff, and unforgettable food, Prem Nath Patty Kinche Dhaba is the perfect stop for anyone craving authentic Punjabi fare with a story behind it.

My Tuk Tuk driver brought me here and I’m so glad he did! There’s a place to sit inside which is tidy. The staff were really friendly and spoke English and recommended which meal to get. The best in Amritsar. Food staff and the whole experience was superb. Kulcha were right at point. Laxman & Kamal made sure we were served the best of Kulchas..... Will come back again..Great job 👍🏻

Hailing from Amritsar, I encountered a family selling Patty kulchas, despite them not being local. It's surprising to see their business thriving, considering kulcha is a traditional Amritsari dish. The space itself is cramped, but they manage to provide quick service. However, as a critic, I have to state that this kulcha lacks the authentic Amritsari touch. It's clear that the essence of the Amritsari kulcha is being commercialized. While this place is popular on social media, as a local, I can confidently say that Amritsar boasts numerous authentic kulcha spots that truly represent the city's culinary heritage.
TraVeLAsTic — Google review
What a huge let down. The kulcha was not just disappointing but a huge wakeup call to not trust any food bloggers and influencers trying to hype up a glorified subpar shop serving mediocre food. The kulchas are bland, no salt no spice no crunch. Oh and also overpriced. Simple as that!! If you really want to try good kulcha , go to Anand Kulcha Point near Ramgharia gate. It’s a very old rustic shop that’s actually not overhyped and they serve decent kulchas at half the price! Don’t get fooled by the people who get money and put reviews

Gurdass Ram Jalebian Wala is a renowned establishment in Amritsar, known for its heavenly hot jalebis fried to perfection in pure ghee. The jalebis are freshly made right in front of you, ensuring maximum freshness and flavor. This small shop, located near the Golden Temple, offers an enchanting culinary experience with its traditional jalebi-making process that has remained unchanged over the years.
Tucked away in the vibrant lanes near the Golden Temple, Gurdasram Jalebi Wale is not just a sweet shop—it’s a legacy. For decades, this iconic corner of Amritsar has been delighting visitors with the kind of rich, nostalgic taste that only time-honored recipes and unwavering passion can deliver. Despite the humble setup—where you stand and relish your snacks on the spot—the experience is anything but ordinary. The jalebis, golden and glistening, strike a perfect balance between crispness and syrupy indulgence. Each bite bursts with flavor, delivering a warmth that feels handcrafted and soulful. Their gulab jamuns are equally divine—soft, melt-in-the-mouth spheres soaked in just the right amount of sweetness, without ever feeling overpowering. The texture, the aroma, and the taste all reflect a deep-rooted commitment to quality that has stood the test of time. Whether you’re a local or a traveler seeking an authentic culinary moment near the Golden Temple, Gurdasram is a must-visit. It’s more than just a sweet stop—it’s a celebration of Amritsar’s rich food heritage, served one impeccable bite at a time.

Gurudas Ram Jalebi is known for its Jalebi and Gulab Jamun. We tried only the Jalebi. it was fresh but on the thicker and less crunchy side; we personally prefer the thin, crispy type. The place isn’t immaculate, and the handwashing area is right next to where the food is prepared, which can be improved. It would be great if the local authorities and shop owners worked together to enhance hygiene, similar to how Indore has developed its street food zones.

No doubts...There Jalebi is yummy in the region but at the end of the Day, it's cheat day when you have it. They raised there products prices drastically that it has gone out of the hands of middle class families. Otherwise too delicious Jalebhi. If you have 100rs and you looking for Sweet, try their Jalebhi.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are coming to Amritsar you have to try Gurdass ki jalebi. It's 10 out of 10. If you want more , they have the gulab jamun as well..

If you’re walking through the old lanes of Amritsar, don’t miss this tiny shop. It doesn’t look fancy, but the jalebis here are amazing. When we went there, it wasn’t crowded, and we only waited five minutes while they made them fresh. The jalebis are — crispy, sweet, and super hot. We shared one portion, and that was enough for two because it’s really sweet. You have to eat it right away, standing on the street, since there’s no seating. They sell other snacks too, but the jalebi is the star. It’s a must-try if you love sweets!

Brijwasi Chat Bhandar, located near Ranjit Avenue C Block Market in Amritsar, is a popular spot for those craving authentic Indian street food. The stall offers a variety of chaat items such as Papdi Chaat, Golgappa, Kachori, Samosa Chaat, and Dahi Bhalla. Known for its flavorful offerings and fresh ingredients, this bustling eatery is especially renowned for its fusion bun tikki.
Woah! What a crazy bun tikki i had here. This place is surely worth a visit if you’re in Amritsar. They serve chaat and bun tikki. Chaat is average in taste but the bun tikki that they prepare is just out of the box. They have sitting capacity of 10-15 people inside and a lot of people enjoy it at their counter, in their cars and takeaways. PS : They do not have AC at dining place, be wise while you travel
Ankur V — Google review
Being in Lucknow, you get a classic taste of tikki batasha. here chat was different. Bun tikki was good in taste. Its like similar to you get in Indore veg benzo. But here you get different taste imli khatti meethi chutney. Items I had: Batasha: 4.5/5 very different taste, filling had lots of red chutni + boiled potato+ chana. Paani was also good. But 60rs for 8 batasha is too expensive, even you eat at most expensive place in up. Bun tikki: 4/5 they didn't had long bun, but it was like desi burger without veg. Taste was good but little at higher expensive side. Mix chat: there were no flavours in chat. Just few papdi + curd + chutni. 2/5. Overall chat is good with different taste with high cost. For tax saving they take only cash payment. They dont have any mode of online payment. So I had to pay cash.
Ankit A — Google review
my visit to Amritsar and craving for Chaat, well this is obvious. So I went to this place and ordered, honestly I didn't like the taste. The curd was sour like the laste was hitting. Rs 60 for 5 small pieces of papadi and just one Wada was not worth it. I prefer to eat something else.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, given its popularity and reputation for serving authentic chaat. the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. The flavors of the chaat felt underwhelming and lacked the tangy, spicy punch I was hoping for. Overall, it was an average experience that didn’t justify the buzz surrounding the place.

Really good place to eat. Doesn't look like much from outside, but once you get inside, it's a whole different experience. Very professional service and food was delicious. It is pricey in comparison to other restaurants, but service and good food do come at a price. Overall, it was a good experience.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in India. The fried fish, chicken reshmi kebab, and butter chicken were all exceptional—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. *Disappointing Experience at Crystal Restaurant* Rating: 1/5 I recently visited Crystal Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by slow service, overpriced menu items, and inconsistent food quality. The highlights of our meal were the delicious Kalmi Kebabs, which were cooked to perfection and flavorful. However, the rest of our order was a letdown. The Murg Tawa Frontier, recommended by our waiter, failed to impress and wasn't worth the steep price of Rs. 540. The dish lacked depth and flavor, leaving us wondering what justified the high cost. The Fish Biryani was a major disappointment. Instead of a traditional biryani, they served fried fish on top of biryani rice, which was unacceptable at Rs. 750. To add to our frustration, the service was slow and inattentive. When we declined to pay the service charge, our waiter's demeanor changed abruptly, leaving a sour taste. *Pros:* - Delicious Kalmi Kebabs *Cons:* - Slow service - Overpriced menu items - Poor quality of Murg Tawa Frontier and Fish Biryani - Unprofessional behavior from waiter when service charge was declined *Recommendation:* While the Kalmi Kebabs were exceptional, the overall experience was disappointing. Unless Crystal Restaurant revamps their menu and service, I would advise others to explore alternative options. *Price Range:* Overpriced (Rs. 500-Rs. 1000 per person) *Will I Return?:* Unlikely *Advice to Management:* 1. Review and adjust menu pricing to reflect quality and portion sizes. 2. Improve service efficiency and staff training. 3. Revamp menu items to ensure consistency and quality. 4. Ensure wait staff maintain professionalism, regardless of service charge decisions.
Sourav N — Google review
This restaurant is fooling customers by showing 30% off on Swiggy Dineout, but the actual prices on the menu are almost 2x higher than what’s shown. At billing time, they claim Crystal Restaurant and Crystal Plaza are different — yet there’s no separate board or signage. This is clearly a scam to trap and overcharge outstation customers. It’s deceptive, unethical, and must be escalated.

Makhan Fish and Chicken Corner SINCE 1962 is a casual, family-friendly restaurant known for its North Indian and Chinese meat and seafood specialties. It offers a variety of delectable fish dishes such as Amritsari Fish, Fish Tikka, and Makhan Fish.
Went around 7p, no wait. While eating the dinner rush started. Great service, great food. Loved the small appetizer of mutton. Masala was soooo good. Restrooms were clean, only downfall is one stall for ladies and one for men. AC was blasting and fans were also going. It was pretty cold inside, so be prepared.
Navita B — Google review
⭐⭐⭐ Decent Food, But Not Worth the Hype 1. Waiting Time: Makhan Fish is almost always crowded. Be prepared for a long wait, especially during peak hours. While they do have a designated waiting area, it can only accommodate a limited number of people. If you’re planning a visit, make sure you come with some time on hand. 2. Ambience & Service: The restaurant offers comfortable seating and has a typical lively Punjabi vibe. However, the service is a letdown. The staff seems rushed, juggling multiple tables at once, and the hospitality suffers as a result. In our case, one of the items we ordered was even forgotten and had to be reminded again. That does take away from the overall dining experience. 3. Food Quality: The highlight of the visit was definitely the food. The tandoori chicken and fish fry were well-prepared and flavorful. If you’re a fan of rich, spicy Punjabi flavors, you’ll enjoy the dishes. 4. Value for Money: Despite the good food, the overall experience — considering the crowd, wait time, and hurried service — doesn’t quite justify the pricing. For the effort it takes to dine here, the return on experience feels underwhelming. Final Verdict: A decent place for a one-time visit, especially if you want to try their famed non-veg offerings. But manage your expectations — it’s more about the food than the experience.
Sahil C — Google review
Tried the famous Makhan Fish and overall, it was a decent experience. The marination and masala were flavorful and well-balanced, adding a nice punch to the dish. However, the fish itself was a bit of a letdown — it was quite dry from the inside and lacked the juiciness you would expect from a well-cooked fish. That said, the overall taste was still enjoyable. With a bit more attention to cooking the fish to retain its moisture, this could easily be a standout dish.

I came too this place tired after waiting 1 hour to get access to the golden temple. I left happy, full, and full of energy. The food was amazing. We ordered the fried fish sangara and sole, it was AMAZING, but, unexpectedly, the mutton tikka was even better! The service was okay and can be improved. The atmosphere was okay, not overly amazing but still nice and we had a good time. But they need to work on their hygiene. There was a bit of trash under our table they hadn't bothered to clean and my pink lemonade mocktail had a bug in it

Had mixed experience with the fried fish and chicken tandoori. The fried fish was well-cooked, but the flavor was just average and the price was a bit steep. On the other hand, the chicken tandoori was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on. Maybe tweak the fish recipe a bit? Overall, a decent meal, but room for improvement. 3.5/5 stars

Visited July 29, 2025 – Day 26 in India Being in Amritsar, we were excited to finally try proper Amritsari fish. It had been on our food list since the start of the trip, so when our driver recommended Makhan Fish Corner, it felt like the right time to go for it. The place was busy when we arrived, and the staff were warm and helpful. We appreciated how polite they were throughout our visit, and they made sure to pack some food for our driver without any fuss. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t live up to the hype. The Amritsari fish, which we were most looking forward to, just didn’t hit the mark for us. The flavor felt flat, and the texture wasn’t what we expected. It was unlike any version of this dish we’ve had before — and not in a good way. Maybe we caught them on an off day, or maybe our expectations were too high, but either way, we left a bit disappointed. We’re still glad we tried it, and we’re grateful for the kind service, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t return.

This was the best chicken I've had in India. The roasted chicken was amazing, served with raw onions and lime. Also ordered the butter chicken, the balance of flavours was amazingly done and I couldn't have hoped for better tasting food. Ordered a variety of breads including the naan which was good as well. Service was quick and efficient, there isn't really any vibe or atmosphere in the restaurant, it's pretty stale but you're mostly there for the food anyways so it was fine.
Olivier G — Google review
This was suggested as the best chicken and non-veg food in Amritsar, however the food tasted pretty average. We ordered tandoori chicken and karahi chicken, both if which were quoted by the server as the best on their menu but both dishes were underwhelming. If I have to rated one over the other, I would say Tandoori chicken was better.

Very old and famous spot in amritsar they are famous for their keema naan with gravy . Same old taste from decades . Juicy tandoori chicken kya e baat ek vaar jaroor try krna

Taste wise it’s good. But the chicken is not cleaned properly. Visible blood strains in almost all the pieces.
Aditya M — Google review
This was my second visit to Beera, the last one being back in 2011. We preferred the following items: 1. Tandoori Chicken - Taste 4.5/5, Hygiene:2/5 - visible blood stains on chicken, served in an aluminium foil. 2. Butter chicken- 2/5 - This is not what buttery chicken should taste like. It was watery and extremely forgettable. 3. Dal Makhani - 1/5 - Loads and loads of salt. Had to throw it away. Overall, my experience fell a bit short of my expectations, considering how impressed I was back in 2011. I can now say, I would Dabeli skip this one my my future visits to Amritsar.
Vaibhav S — Google review
The price for the roasted chicken is quite high considering the portion size, but the taste is absolutely delicious and the chicken is perfectly juicy. Definitely worth trying at least once!
Bhavya T — Google review
Update 20/8/25 I was in Amritsar and had to visit this place again for the delicious food. It's still good, but since I've tried so many other places, it's not as outstanding as I remember it being. Still, I love how unique and juicy the food remains. It's definitely still worth a visit if you're in Amritsar. It's a perfect family-friendly spot. Old review 2020: The best butter chicken I had in a while. I have read the reviews that the butter chicken is very sweet here but to my surprise, it was not sweet at all. I love the gravy, had all the masala and chicken was soo well cooked and so soft. Definitely the best cooked chicken I ever had in my life. Worth the hype and every penny. The green chutney they serve is made with hand (not in mixer) taste sooo delicious with your food. Can’t wait to visit again. 5/5 Highly Recommended

When in Amritsar, a visit to All India Famous Kulcha is a must for an authentic taste of the city's renowned kulchas. These delicious treats are made of maida and baked in a tandoor, offering a unique flavor compared to the fried paranthas. The bustling food street of Amritsar hosts the original store where you can witness the skilled process of making these kulchas. The shop has gained nationwide popularity for its delectable offerings, attracting visitors year-round.
Do visit if you love eating out authentic kulcha at a roadside dhaba. The taste was very good and very affordable. A bit far from the old city but there are tuktuks who you can rent. You can also stop for a quick bute or a brunch.
RUTVIK D — Google review
This place offers a very local Amritsari experience..low key, simple and raw outlet that makes local Amritsari Kulcha.. The Kulchas were good but I'd say nothing out of the way. The service was good and the people here are sweet. It is a fairly clean place. Try for a typical local experience.
Johann Q — Google review
All India Famous Amritsari Kulcha in Amritsar is a legendary spot that lives up to its name. Nestled in a modest corner of the city, this eatery attracts locals and tourists alike for one simple reason – its irresistibly crispy, buttery, and perfectly spiced kulchas. The menu is straightforward, usually offering a variety of stuffed kulchas like aloo, paneer, gobhi, and mix veg, all served with chana (chickpeas), tangy onion chutney, and a dollop of butter. The highlight is undoubtedly the kulcha itself – flaky on the outside, soft inside, and cooked in a traditional tandoor, giving it a smoky aroma and authentic taste. The chole are rich and masaledar, complementing the kulchas perfectly. Service is fast and no-nonsense, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable given the taste and portion size. The place can get crowded, especially during breakfast and lunch hours, but the quick turnaround keeps things moving. Though the ambiance is basic and seating limited, the flavors more than make up for it. If you're in Amritsar, missing this would be a culinary mistake. It’s a must-visit for every street food lover and a true reflection of Punjab’s rich food culture.

Even though it’s the oldest kulcha place in Amritsar the locals don’t favour it much. For me the Kulcha was awesome and I managed to eat 2, phew!!

Priced at Rs 60 per Mix Kulcha with Amul Butter spread on it, it is served with mildly spiced cholle and onion and imli chutney. Has simple seating and limited menu options. Do try if in Amritsar. They only accept cash as payment. Serving uncle is quite sweet.

Sanjha Chulha is a well-known Indian dhaba that has been serving vegetarian street food since 1997. With branches in Amritsar and Delhi, it is famous for its irresistible Kulchas and special Prantha Thali. The menu offers a variety of options, but the must-try dish is the famous Amritsari kulcha served with delicious chanas. Visitors also rave about the sweet lassi with butter and malai.

Came here for dinner. Didn’t have much expectations. The place is extremely unhygienic. I found a big stone in Palak Paneer. God knows what else gets into the food in the kitchen at the back. The waiter was friendly though, but it didn’t matter. I would never come here again, I urge anyone considering to visit this to think ten times before stepping in.

The food here is kinda good in taste but the quantity is way too less for many things like the Manchow soup like not sufficient for a single person. Plus, the service is good, atmosphere is also kind of okay but random additions to the bill are way too much. Paying all of it would've been fine if the experience with food was worth it.

Clean and delicious restaurant! Seeking refuge from the heat and the busy streets of Amritsar, we found this small, but stylish restaurant in side street to lawrence road. The staff was very friendly, but only a couple of people were able to communicate in english. #amritsardiaries My top choice for Amritsari Kulcha remains Monu Kulcha Hut but that's situated almost at outskirts of city and is extremely crowded. Besides seating isn't that upmarket for family visits.... so my second best choice as always remains Sanjha Chulha Amritsar situated at the most happening Lawrance Road area. It has air-conditioned seating with reasonably acceptable hygiene and overall good package with excellent fast service. We ordered our usual favourite Aaloo Pyaaz Kulcha and additionally ordered Mix Kulcha. Both are flawlessly perfect with flaky and crisp texture. Filling is adequate and flavourful. Channa are mild and well cooked without any excessive addition of Soda Bicarbonate. Chatani is well balanced without being over spicy. It's a great kulcha overall and is highly recommended. We also got few Kulcha packed for Delhi and kept enjoying them for next few days by reheating them. Not as good as the freshly served ones but still better than all other options available in Delhi NCR. The last 3 pictures are of reheated kulchas clicked back home at Delhi. Tips to follow if you plan to get Amritsari Kulcha packed.... ▪︎Ask vendor not to apply butter on top ▪︎Cool kulcha and channa in open condition to reach room temperature before sealed packing them ▪︎Avoid packing Chatani for being liquidy... it tends to leak and gets spoiled very quickly ▪︎Store kulcha and chana in refrigerator (Not freezer) ▪︎Reheating tip... heat each kulcha for 20 seconds each side in microwave followed by roasting on each side over low gas flame. ▪︎Apply butter on top after completion of reheating ▪︎Heat channa in microwave Bon Appétit

From so many years this place was one of my favourite place . Today i decided to visit this place with my family for dinner .... we ordered soups - lemon coriander soup , veg manchow soup , veg sweet corn soup .. soups were very tasty .. Then we ordered twin pasta sizzler , veg lasagne... this time the taste was not good as It was before . Veg lasagne was not cheesy .. it was average . Twin pasta sizzler was not tasty as it was used too . So this time my experience was not good . Hoping they will improve their quality .

This place was good to spend time for food with family, the twin pasta Sizler was my favorite of this restaurant but now the quality has gone down though the quantity is good, Chiken Tikka Masala is also good, but they can look upon there quality, it can be improved. The worst part I felt is the quality of staff they have, not at all helping rather rude. Hospitality of the customers is the key factor to pull in customer, but if it is lacking, the business starts to come down.

Nice place to hangout with friends and family. It's an good restaurant with all type of food. We tried Punjabi food wich was awesome. Price is also good. It's under construction yet . Reason why i am giving it 4 stars is lack of parking space. You have to park your vehicle against other shops or quite far away.

New Kundan Dhaba is a popular dining spot, especially for those staying at the Marriott. The kulchas and chole are highly recommended, with the firni being a standout dessert. Visitors are advised to be mindful of the lassi portion as it can be quite filling. The restaurant offers delicious desi ghee-based dishes such as karahi paneer and mixed vegetables, although some find them a bit oily.
A good place to have lunch or dinner if u r staying in Marriott. The kulcha s were very tasty and the chole were the best we had in Amritsar. The firni was top notch. A word of advice, on top of ur meal don't go for a full glass of lassi, it will be too much!!

Breakfast was very good. We had amritsari kulcha, gobi ka paratha and paneer ka paratha with tea (for three people). The rates were reasonable for breakfast as well. However, dinner was a different experience. The half plate palak paneer was more of a quarter plate palak paneer. Ditto with fried rice - the quantity was noticeabley less. The dishes were priced towards the higher side. This restaurant is a tad expensive for the quality and quantity of food it offers.

Nestled in the heart of Amritsar, Divine Chocolate Factory is a delightful café that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. This charming spot is perfect for those who love to indulge in delicious food and drinks without any pretense. During my visit, I savored a variety of dishes starting with their homemade cheese and dips, followed by fresh salads and sushi. The raw papaya salad was particularly outstanding! To quench our thirst, we enjoyed an Oreo shake and a refreshing lime-mint cooler.
Divine Chocolate Factory is a real gem of a place in Amritsar. We happen to be there for lunch. It is a cute little cafe offering delicious food, drinks and mouth watering desserts. We started with some cheese & dips (all made at the cafe). We moved on to some salads and sushi along with an oreo shake for my daughter and lime and mint cooler for me. The raw papaya salad there is to die for. We also tried some Chinese main course, again everything had the perfect taste and flavour. And now the desserts, we tried the mango cake, toffee cake, brownies and cake pops. I have never been a dessert eater but believe me I just loved the cakes there especially the toffee cake. It was soft moist and tasted delicious along with chocolate caramel. We also took a freshly baked whole wheat multigrain bread along with us. I’ve never had a bread this tasty. This was the best meal I’ve had in ages. All the best to DCF team. Keep it up!

Dhaba
Brothers Dhaba is a vibrant and casual dining spot that offers a variety of vegetarian northern Indian dishes. Situated near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, it's a popular choice for those craving authentic North Indian cuisine. The menu features favorites like Aloo Gobi, Paneer Butter Masala, and creamy Dal Makhani. With its bustling atmosphere, generous portions, and warm hospitality, Brothers Dhaba is a must-visit for food enthusiasts exploring the area.
Brothers Dhaba – Where Comfort Food Gets a Punjabi Punch Born out of the same culinary roots as its elder sibling, Brothers Dhaba brings its own flavor to the table — quite literally. While it shares the legacy, it carves a different path, blending tradition with a touch of home-style flair. Step inside and you’re welcomed with aromas that feel instantly familiar — like walking into your grandma’s kitchen on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Let’s talk Kadhi Chawal. It’s got that perfect tang, poured over fluffy rice, and finished with a drizzle of desi ghee that ties it all together. A side of crisp onions adds the crunch you didn’t know you needed. It’s comfort food that hugs you back. And the Rajma Chawal? Oh, it’s dreamy. Silky-soft kidney beans in a rich, slow-cooked gravy that’s clearly made with love and a lot of patience. The kind of rajma that doesn't need bells or whistles — just a spoon, a quiet moment, and maybe a nap afterward. Brothers Dhaba doesn’t just serve food — it serves nostalgia, in generous portions. Pro Move: Sneak in that extra plate of Kadhi Chawal. Even if you’re full, you’ll find the space. And yes, it’s totally worth it. 📍Located right by Town Hall, Amritsar — sharing walls with legacy, but standing strong on its own.

There are lot of mixed reviews of this place but the place is actually good to dine. The food is fantastic with authentic flavours. Daal Makhni, Paneer, Chhole everything is wonderful. Lachha parathas are very unique and crispy, not eaten anywhere else in the country. Staff is very friendly and serves you really well. Serving time is not long. The desserts however are average and can be avoided. Food here is a must try, specially their thali. Highly Recommended. Located right in vicinity if Golden Temple, you are very likely to love their food.

Had a great experience at Brother’s Dhaba in Amritsar! The food was flavorful and satisfying, but the highlight for me was definitely the amazing Amritsari Kulche—crispy on the outside, perfectly stuffed, and served with delicious chole and chutney. The mango lassi was another winner—thick, creamy, and refreshing, just the way it should be. Portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. The place has a casual, lively vibe and quick service too. A must-visit if you’re in Amritsar and craving authentic Punjabi food!
Soumee B — Google review
A must-visit spot near the Golden Temple for anyone craving authentic Punjabi comfort food. The chole bhature, rajma chawal, and paneer dishes are full of flavor and generously portioned. Service is quick and efficient, even during rush hours. The place is usually crowded, but the turnaround time is fast, making it ideal for tourists on the go. 💡 Tip: Try the lassi — it's thick, creamy, and served chilled in a steel tumbler. Best visited during early lunch or late dinner hours to avoid long queues.

This place serves amazing Amritsari kulcha and choor choor naan. The food tastes really good and is of good quality. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is quick. The prices are a bit high, but it's worth it for the delicious food. This is on the way to wagha border and will recommend this place than any other places for kulchas.
Bhargav M — Google review
I recently visited this restaurant and had a very unpleasant experience. While eating, I discovered a black worm on my plate, right in the middle of the food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hygiene and food safety standards of this place. Despite the food being otherwise decent, such a lapse in cleanliness cannot be ignored. It not only ruined the meal but also made me question how the kitchen is being maintained. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve hygiene and ensure this does not happen to anyone else. Customers trust you with their health — don’t take it lightly. Not recommended unless they take visible corrective steps.

The bakery is famous for its designer cakes and offers a wide variety of desserts, soft breads, cookies, and snacks that are beloved by locals. With an inviting atmosphere, the shop provides an excellent experience with exquisitely crafted cakes available on demand.
Blues Bakers is a fantastic bakery located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. I've been there a few times and I have to say, their baked goods are absolutely delicious! The first thing that caught my attention when I walked into Blues Bakers was the amazing aroma of freshly baked treats. It was heavenly! They have a wide variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads to choose from. One of my personal favorites is their blueberry cheesecake. It's so creamy and bursting with flavor! Not only are their baked goods tasty, but they also have a great presentation. The cakes are beautifully decorated and the pastries are always fresh and flaky. The staff at Blues Bakers are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The bakery itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place to sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy a sweet treat. They also offer takeaway options if you're on the go. Overall, I highly recommend Blues Bakers to anyone with a sweet tooth. Their baked goods are top-notch, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

EAT THE CAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK CAKES ARE VERY VERY TASTY. HAVE BEEN EATING SINCE IT HAS BEEN OPENED ... ORDERED FROM HERE SO MANY TIMES BUT REALISED NOW WHEN I LEFT THE CAKE IN FRIDGE AND CAKE AFTER FEW WEEKS ... IT WAS THE SAME NO SMELL NO CHANGE IN TASTE ... THREW PART OF IT IN TOILET ... DIDNOT GO INSPITE OF FLUSHING IT AGAIN AND AGAIN .. ANALYSED IT .... IT WAS ALLL SYNTHETIC ... SO EAT THE CAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK
J K — Google review
Changed my rating from 4 star to 1 after a bitter experience. When I reached the outlet, the cake was not to be found for at least 15 minutes. When they “found it”, i was given the reason that the delay was due to the icing being done for the name. Strangely enough, they only use the icing on pre-printed plate for birthdays. After the cake finally arrived, it was close to half hour of waiting. I was given a “brown” cake - which was originally meant to be a Red Velvet cake. Not only was the colour weirdly weird, the finishing of the cake was not up to the mark. Compared to the less expensive cakes already in display, this had unfinished edges, uneven colour tone. I ended up picking a cake off the shelf instead since the look of it matched the label (lol) : a Blueberry cake. Knowing how good the bakery is, I expected honest approach from the start, regarding the delay and the whole experience thereafter.
Gaurav S — Google review
It was one of my best place for the cakes but now from few months it’s seems like they don’t care about their customers anymore. Poor customer service.
Dixit M — Google review
No one picks up the phone number on the website. They even cut it off as if they are not interested in taking orders. Was a good bakery but customer service is getting worse with time.

Good place to munch over choclate goodies and other baked things. Its overall good but better than other bakeries in Amritsar. May be lil biased for sweetness.

DO NOT BUY THEIR FRUIT CAKE. IT WAS REALLY BAS. IT WAS STALE (basi in hindi) & TOO SUGARY. HAD AN AWFULL SMELL TO IT TOO. DO NOT BUY CAKES FROM HERE. THEIR CREAM IS NOT FRESH AT ALL.

It was Great!!! 👍 Too much delicious. Every time I went there to buy a cake. You will get fresh items from there. Thank you

The place is quite good. Once you enter you can already smell a lot of delicious food. It's famous for its bakery items. Cookies and tea cakes are always in demand over here. The variety of cookies is wayyyyyyy more than you can think. Gifting options are also available here. Other than this we have tried their panner tikka bun and pizza- which is okayish in taste. Not so great at the price of 120. Coffee is priced at 70 rupees but won't be worth. Also find a lot of chocolates, pastries, cake different variety of snacks and chips

This kind of service they provide to customers. Actually i order cake red valvet. Its not even look like red valvet. Other than that cake was not even packed properly. Its got damaged till it reach to right hands. So disappointed never gonna order again from this place. We was regular customers

It is on the Main road which makes it easy to visit. They have a lot of cakes and pastries in different flavours. They also have bakery and beverages. I ate strawberry pastry and chocolate Donuts there. The pastry was little disappointing, it wasn't fresh and the price was really high. But the donuts were delicious.

I use to bought many items from this store and it was quite satisfied. But this time I bought chocolate truffle cake. It was over cooked and bitter in taste. We tried to contact them on phone call but no response from them. They spoiled our moment. Very poor quality product.

Located in the bustling area of Ranjit Avenue, Adarsh Meat Shop is a well-known spot among locals and non-veg enthusiasts. This small outlet is renowned for its delectable meat dishes, including mutton chaap, tikka, and flavorful smoked ribs. Despite its popularity, finding the shop may be a bit challenging, but once you arrive at C-Block Market Complex near Rose Garden, locals can guide you.
If u r a non veg lover .. then this place will never disappoint you .. We use to visit this place mostly on Sunday with family .. my daughter favourite item is brain curry .. my husband orders mutton tikka semigravy and I love to have dry mutton champ . You can have all these items with nan , roti or Rumali roti . Fragrance of each item is so tempting that one can’t resist eating it . I took some of my friends from Australia to this shop .. Nd they gave this place tag “paradise for Non veg lovers” Highly recommended 👍👍

Aadarsh, a renowned non-veg food joint in Amritsar, lives up to its fame with a mouthwatering selection of dishes that cater to the cravings of meat lovers. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try some of their signature dishes, and they certainly left a lasting impression. The BRAIN CURRY was a standout delicacy. Its rich and aromatic flavors combined with the unique texture of dish for an unforgettable experience. A must-try for adventurous eaters. TheMUTTON TIKKE was another gem on their menu. Tender pieces of mutton marinated to perfection and cooked to melt-in-the-mouth tenderness And then there were the MUTTON CHAMP , a true delight for the taste buds. The flavors were robust, and the meat was incredibly succulent. It's no wonder these are a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Aadarsh is undoubtedly a must-visit for anyone touring Amritsar, especially if you're a fan of non-veg cuisine. Their offerings, including the Brain Curry, Mutton Tikka, and Mutton Champs, are a testament to the city's rich culinary heritage and a treat for anyone seeking an authentic food experience.

Cheap joint. Very few options, but they are all good. Many take food from here and liquor from the shop next to eat and eat inside the car. Service is very fast. Vegetarians should look elsewhere.
KAUSHIK B — Google review
My Friend ate at this place ten years ago when it was just a roadside stall and remembered the taste to the day that I was asked to try this and put it on top of my food list. The place didn’t disappoint. It’s located in a good square with tons of parking but it gets difficult to find a spot over the weekend. The mutton champ is the best thing I’ve tasted. Kheema was ok, too much oil for my taste. Kulchas were fresh and served hot as ordered. There are 3-4 tables and the fan is amazingly fast and could double down as portable AC. As reviewed by my Friend Aag aag aag 🔥 🔥 🔥

Just request the owner personally and see how they take care of you. Good food! Desi ghee everywhere. I love it. Try their mutton tikka, champs & Brain curry with fresh roti. You won’t regret!

Excellent mutton chaap. Succulent and well spiced minced mutton coated in bread crumbs. Total drool. It's a small shabby place but the food is excellent. Also try their bheja fry. It was worth the hype for sure.
Payal B — Google review
Mutton Champ fry are the best I have ever had. This is situated in Ranjeet Avenue (place has huge parking with Bars all around, people prefer drinking in cars & ordering non veg snacks). Have decent 4 tables for simple dining. Has its special menu of specialised dishes. Accepts only cash though. Worth a visit and hype around its name.

Place is not up to standard. 31 flavors not offered, only less than that. Some of the ice creams looked old as there were ice crystals formed on the layer. One flavour which stood out for me was the litchi ice cream. A must try if you visit.

Very calm place. Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) is an Indian coffeehouse chain known for its wide variety of coffee and other beverages, as well as a menu featuring snacks and desserts. The quality of your experience at CCD can vary by location, but here are some common points from reviews as per my visit: **Pros:** 1. **Wide Beverage Menu:** CCD offers a diverse range of coffee and non-coffee beverages, catering to different preferences. 2. **Affordable:** It's often seen as a budget-friendly option for enjoying coffee and snacks. 3. **Convenient Locations:** CCD outlets are widely distributed across India, making them accessible in many areas. 4. **Cosy Ambience:** Many customers appreciate the comfortable and cozy atmosphere at CCD outlets, making them suitable for meetings, study sessions, or casual hangouts. 5. **Variety of Snacks:** In addition to coffee, CCD serves a selection of snacks, including sandwiches and pastries. **Cons:** 1. **Inconsistent Quality:** Some customers have reported inconsistency in the taste and quality of beverages and snacks from one outlet to another. 2. **Pricing:** While considered affordable, some find the pricing slightly higher compared to local coffee shops. 3. **Crowded:** Popular CCD outlets can get crowded, making it difficult to find a quiet spot during peak hours. 4. **Service:** The level of service may vary, with occasional complaints about slow service or inattentive staff. Keep in mind that the quality and experience at CCD can differ from one location to another, so it's a good idea to read recent reviews or ask locals for recommendations if you're planning to visit a specific outlet.

Bansal Bakers in Amritsar is a hidden gem for anyone with a sweet tooth. The bakery prides itself on freshly made sweets, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Their Motichoor ke ladoo are particularly popular, leaving patrons craving more. The selection of cakes, pastries, and snacks showcases an impressive balance of flavor and presentation that delights the senses.
I recently tried this bakery and was very pleased with the quality and value of the items. While there is not a wide variety of pastries, the taste and texture is top quality. The cream was fresh and the cake layers were moist. Also got some biscuits which were good as well. Definitely worth repeating.

Bansal Bakery in Amritsar offers a delightful experience with its fresh and flavorful baked goods. The quality of cakes, pastries, and snacks is commendable, with a perfect balance of taste and presentation. The staff is courteous and service is prompt. The ambiance is clean and welcoming, making it a great spot for a quick bite or takeaway. However, a bit more variety in their menu would make the experience even better. Overall, a reliable place for satisfying your sweet cravings.

Useless biscuits, crispiness is missing & far far away so it’s now only name no quality standard and if you complaint about quality they don’t bother about it so better to buy from more reputed bakeries than Bansal.
Siddharth S — Google review
Went with kids for the first time thinking shop looks nice, neat and clean but their cakes are dry not moist and fruit pudding was below than average for the price they are charging. Chocolate shakes were only item were good. Up on paying I gave them feedback and they were like because “it’s eggless that’s why it’s dry” They should try eggless cake from some better bakery so they know it shouldn’t be like that. Items are expensive but lacking in taste. Will not go again nor recommend to anyone. Total rip off.
