A simple and neat bar. Complimentary snacks were good. Drinks were cheap. Go to place if u r looking for RELAXED and Calm drinking.

I had ordered chicken lollipop and it was not good at all. But they had provided some sides as complimentary for beer. Those were damn good. Place is near bus stand, so very convenient to relax till the last moment. Place is also good to have drinks with a group. Toilet not so clean. I am not stereotyping but generally people in TN are less cleanliness conscious. Usually every washroom is unclean.

Very poor and unhygienic food. Over priced. Poor service. The staff behaves as though they are doing you a favour. We ordered "Chef's Special Veg Salad" from the "Christmas and New Year Special Menu". To my utter shock, they just served a quarter plate filled with sliced raw tomato, onion, cucumber and chilly. We then called for the manager and chef. They told me that this is the dish and we have to put up with it. I asked them, what is the special thing that the chef did on it? They said - Just too bad and this what they have. Upset with what was served, we ordered Peri Peri Paneer Tikka. They just served a half cooked paneer slices. The masala marinade was raw and the dish was not even hot. When we complained about it, they just took it to the kitchen, microwaved it a little and got it back. Same thing. No change. Extremely rude and pathetic service. They are essentially defrauding gullible customers.

Its location is plus point, nice sea view. Drinks, service also managable. But food they served is bad, crispy corn and coriander chiccken taste very bad, peanut masala papad was good..please imrove food quality to satisfy your customers.

Honestly, not a great experience. The ambience felt very ordinary, more like a local bar than a proper lounge. For the kind of vibe they give, the prices are way too high. Compared to places like Hook Lounge, this spot doesn’t justify the cost at all. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you’re out of options.

Bad food. The ambience of the roof top bar is quiet nice. But it was so dull, the staff seemed so lazy. And the food is the worst we tasted around Pondicherry. We ordered Jamaican chicken fry and it was very greasy could taste the weird oily sour in every bite we took, I believe the chicken was fried in the same oil. The food is very very bad. Never suggesting this place for friends for drinks and food.

This is one such place right in front of the beach so needs to put in effort to get those seats which are towards the beach. Drinks are great with good food but the place closes early like around 10:30 so that’s a bill sad. Otherwise it’s good. Good to sip a few drinks to the sounds of crashing waves

The sea view from the gallery was excellent overlooking The promenade. Though the food was ok most of the dishes we wanted were not available. The prices were good for the food and drinks. There were some groups of men openly smoking and shouting at each other which definitely turned down the nice ambience.

If you are searching for a pub near the beach then this is your place to go. They have 3 pubs in the same building. The ground floor pub has good seating and songs, it’s worth it if you go to the roof top, there is a smokers zone and also they have good music to which you can dance. Cost is not to high or not too low. Food tastes good. A good place to chill out with friends.

If there is a minus rating I would have given it. Horrible, worst experience, Visited on 10th Sept. It took 15 minutes for anyone to even attend to us. Only one brand of beer (KF) available. No dishes to order, because only buffet dinner is available. Spoilt our whole evening plan. DON'T VISIT THIS AWFUL PLACE, ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS.

Having a great bar experience after a long time! The drinks were good, well served. Variety is good too. The Long Island was great the first time - second time they did something wrong with the drink! I would suggest improving the drinks each time rather than only giving a good drink the first time. Was pleasantly surprised at Flaming Dragons. They had a dimsum festival and we ordered the chicken and shitake mushroom ones they were so juicy and succulent. The Tom yum prawn soup was quite authentic with taste and ingredients. Service is nice. Open till midnight, our saving grace that day!

I opted for the take away. The food is too good, it justifies the Chinese in all way. The atmosphere is lively, u have a live DG with a cute bar. The restaurant is too good. Hundred percent recommended for all the Chinese Lovers.

The food here was amazing. Their ambiance was too good to have a good party in Pondy. They have a wide range of liquor collection. The price of the liquor is quite hight. So if you are visiting to have a good food with a party background this place is is recommended.

It’s a pub-restaurant serving a large selection of Asian food situated in prime White Town. The large variety of menu is a speciality and they have a bar and also have shisha smoking for those who do. The area is a bit small and cramped for what I expected but they have music in background and nicely themed colour lights for a cool experience Their teriyaki chicken sushi was very good. It was presented really well. The veg bao buns were quite big and also had very tasty filling. But the fish satay was a disappointment. The peanut sauce was tasty but the fish itself was dry and flavourless. It wasn’t fresh. It’s rated 4.9 on Zomato which drew me to it but not sure if it delivered that rating. But it’s definitely decent. May return again for the big menu.

Heist has potential, but my experience was not great. The ambience and crowd felt underwhelming, which took away from the vibe I was expecting. On the positive side, the music was good and could be a solid base to build on. With some improvement in atmosphere and overall management, this place could become a much better nightlife spot in Pondicherry.

The topfloor is like 20max. The whole place was low lighten and dark. The crowd is okay. Cocktails are limited and decent variety of liquor. The alcohol are priced reasonable, it's definitely not for family crowd. just another bar in Pondicherry.

This place is like a local bar and restaurant. Do not expect all the drinks in menu. Few of the Drinks are cheap. Food is decent. Wine is served in the same measures as the hard liquor.

Yesterday night was served well in the bar here after ordering Tandoori and Naan with beers. As we ordered Naan without sambar the waitress suggested we order it to go with the Naan and we dutifully agreed and ordered.. we did not even asked the waitress by the name of Albina, served us and separately filled up both my friend’s and my bowl with sambar from the large bowl of sambar for us to enjoy our Naan. For the short time we had our dinner and drinks she came and checked with us on how we are and also the food. Food was above average and we enjoyed it. Had a great time there eventhough short. I visited this pub yesterday but the costs are too high. They charge 18% gst and 5% for service. But they didn’t serve anything, we took it on our own to the plate. Simply money waste and they also made us wait for 1hour to serve the dish. Its utterly waste to go there as Pizza is worst but Kebab platter is fine. Best option I saw in Pondicherry is Chitras pub and kitchen also called as Chitras cuisine where its reasonable price and affordable. They are charging only 5% GST and no service charge.

This is a rooftop restaurant with great decor and lovely music ! During my visit both beer and prawns were unavailable, so it would be wrong for me to judge the food. But I ordered chicken pasta which was pretty decent.

One of the finest cafe in puducherry with full french cuisine and decoration. I'll recommend you to try Prawn here. In drinks too there are quite a lot options. Staff and owner are very well behaved. Mostly this place is filled with French People. You will surely have a great time there.

Quiet in the day and bustling at night. Cool place to grab a quick drink. We were there during the day so staff weren’t really there to serve us but the waiter came and apologised for the delay and suddenly we had real good service. When I went in the evening it was full of people! So it’s obviously a popular spot. Overall a sweet spot for for a nice lil chill.

Average place to hang out. Maybe we were there at the wrong time, 6PM-ish. It was too quiet. We went for the games. We played foosball and carrom once each. Carrom coins were incomplete but they didn't seem to care. The kitchen is on the same level so if the kitchen door is open and you are outside, the burnt smell and chillis will make you cry. We did not order anything as they said they would take orders only from 7pm. (Yet I wonder what they were cooking that made us teary lol)

Visited Pondicherry first time and had dinner with my family at Asian House. The food was delicious and the stuff was polite and very friendly. And went out of their way and holding umbrella for my son and wife while it was raining. Awesome people. Overall very good customer service. Definitely recommend that you visit them.

We were looking for authentic chettinad chicken and found this place. It was totally worth the hype and we enjoyed our meal to the fullest. My friends and I, on the way to Pondicherry, found this little sports bar and stopped for a quick snack and drinks. They don’t have parking, so we had to park on the other side of the road, but the security will assist you. The food was okay; the beef was nice, but the mutton was not up to mark. A dark yet decent resto pub right outside Pondichery's boulevard limits. Well priced, their starters were especially tasty. Contemporary VH1 music was being played when we visited it. There was very little crowd so could not judge it's vibe when busy

if there was an option to give 0.0 stars then I would have given that. Worst crowd, worst ambience. No proper dj, the dance floor was not good, very weird positioning of the two dance floors, in between two dance floors was a smoking area and a lift, with barely any space left because both the dance floors are on 3rd floor. And one is a standing bar with seats surrouding the dance floor so there is no privacy for both the seated people and the people trying to have a good time at the dance floor. DON'T GO THERE FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY!.

We had very bad experience there…..the owner of this pub is so reckless…… firstly we were 6 members we ordered drinks and hookah….. we were having our drinks and hookah and left the table to dance…… later someother guys from the different table came to our table without permission and used the hookah…. Here the main thing is that they not only had used the hookah but they broke it….. they asked us we said we havent done it you can check the cctv footage…. He stopped us before leaving for more than a hour and behaved very rudely with us before checking footage….. does we pay money to get all these???…. After checking the fottage he got to know the truth but didnt even said sorry for making us to wait with his wrong behaviour…..is this the way you treat if a outsider comes to your city to explore???

Awesome place on the beach Road. It's on the 3rd floor and has an open sea facing terrace dine in. They also have a AC sea facing dine also with the same view and is ideal during daytime. Service is good without much delay. Overall a good place with good ambience.

I visited Hook Lounge on a Friday evening and had a good time! The ambience was lively and relaxed with a pretty cool vibe that perfectly matched its prime location right on the Promenade beach, facing the sea. What truly surprised me was their Bollywood night in Pondicherry on a Friday night. Grooving to Bollywood beats was something I didn’t expect but it turned out to be fun. A special shout-out to Vicky, who served us. He was full of energy, super attentive and had a smile on his face throughout. His friendly service really made my first experience here even better. If you visit, do say Hi to Vicky and you’ll know what I mean! Not to forget, he also offered us free shooters 😜 The lounge also offers hookah, so if you’re looking for a place in Pondy to chill with good music, sea breeze and hookah, this is definitely a go-to spot. Lastly, the food here is good too. We tried the Surmai Masala Fry and Hara Bhara Kebabs, both of which were delicious.

The price is reasonable and the restaurant is very clean and modern. You can sit inside in the air conditioning or outside on the balcony with the nice evening breeze. They have an extensive menu, including veg and non veg selections, and serve alcohol.

Not a good place, sofas had some black marks and quite uncomfortable tables placed near sofa. The food was not good, we have ordered chicken 65 it was too dry and cheewy. I paid via Swiggy dine-out they have denied to provide free mocktail mentioned on the offer saying its not available on sunday. Cannot sit outdoors its too hot. Not recommended better find any other place. Swiggy tried to contact the restaurant multiple times they didn’t pick up the call. Such a scammers. Avoid this

Nice place, overlooking the Pondy beach. It does get crowded considering the view of the beach from the restaurant. Staff members are friendly and always looking out for you. Food, I believe could have tasted much better. Music gets better as the night rolls in, and the vibe of the place changes, making it a great evening.

Great food , great vibes and great music - all costing quite the premium. We went as a group and tried nearly everything on the menu. The skewers, Korean corn, and almost all dishes stood out. Go with the recommendations - can’t go wrong. Mock tails were a little sugary.

I recently visited BOHO, Pondicherry for lunch with my best friend. Overall, the experience was just okay. While I might give it a pass for now. We started with the French Onion Soup, which was decent mainly because it was served hot. The Chilli Cheese Mini Podi Idly with Peanut Chutney was definitely a highlight flavorful and well-prepared. For the main course, we tried the Pondicherry Clay Pot Biryani, Kulcha with Butter Chicken Masala, and the Coriander Seed Crusted Tenderloin. The biryani and butter chicken with kulcha were satisfying, though not extraordinary. The tenderloin, however, was disappointing. I expected a slow-grilled beef steak with coriander and spices, but instead, it felt more like thin beef skin coated in fried coriander seeds it honestly resembled a crispy beef papad, and I wasn't quite sure what I was eating. The seating was also not very comfortable. The low sofa-style chairs and tables made it difficult to sit properly or stretch out definitely something that affected the overall dining experience. All in all, it was an average visit. A few hits, a few misses. Not sure I will visit again.

Had the best family dinner at Boho, Pondicherry! Kids had a great time and we tried almost all the starters from the non-veg selection most were stand-out delicious. Special thanks to Chandru for his attentive service. The place offers both alcoholic drinks and mocktails, with their Blueberry/stawberrt Mojito being the best! So the most talked about bistro in Pondicherry. THE BOHO. Food was amazing we tried the Nagar Chilli Chicken, Chessy Mushrooms, Korean Bao Buns and Malabar Prawn Curry with Appam. Each item was unique and absolutely yummy. Service was fabulous especially Chandru and Mani. Very polite and attentive. Do visit the place for some good music and BOHO VIBES

Le Toit is a well crafted hookah bar in Pondy. The hookah was made very well, perfect balance of flavour, and it did not choke one bit. Food was excellent- we got fries, pasta and chicken cheese balls. Overall a good place to hang out with friends. What can be improved? -Is Service-it is painfully slow , they take their own time to serve you, but if you are there to chill and have a good time it does not matter. Head here-you will like it

I'm genuinely surprised with the chef who is working here. This happened to be a random visit as I was in the area and saw that they were serving beer pitchers and towers. To my surprise their courtesy while they hosted us, was such a delightful surprise. Yet what stole the show away is that, from all the places I have tried steaks in pondicherry, they seemed to have one of the best I've tried so far. the flavours were totally on point. loved the ambience, the Food was amazing and their polite gestures just made our day. Will definitely visit again. Even though it was my first time it definitely will not be my last. Thank you to Chef Lulun who really made my day with his preparation for the steak. And thank you to the host, Kural, for an amazing and heart warming service.

Staff is very attentive and friendly, especially Babu anna...herb fried calamari is best, and chicken chips is good and beef is not up to mark

We recently visited Le Toit Restobar, located on the rooftop of Vivelaa Hotels in Pondicherry. The place has a nice ambiance, the food menu offered plenty of choices, and they also serve different mojitos and cocktails. Overall, it was a great spot to enjoy good food and drinks, and worth visiting at least once.

Hello, i just visited this restaurant and writing this review immediately with a huge dissatisfaction. we had beer and fish Kabab and Golden froed prawns. Food is utterly disssapointment, I don't want to give a rating more than 0, but there is no option for zero rating. Pub is present in the first floor with ambience is good with lighting and decor. Comparatively is more than average. Visual are great. In Top Floor restaurant with bar is present, but ambience is average to low, like bar setup. Regarding cost, food items are high and needs improvement. For the cost this cost the look is not good. Drinks cost are avarage. Not too high in roof top but is its high in Pug area.
