We had an absolutely fantastic 4-night, 5-day stay at the Sheraton Grand Mirage, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! This beautiful hotel exceeded all expectations with its stunning design, luxurious amenities, and impeccable service. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. A huge shout out to the porters, who were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and went above and beyond to ensure every request was handled with care, nothing was too much trouble for them! If you’re looking for a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and exceptional service, the Sheraton Grand Mirage is the place to stay. Five stars all the way!

It’s a 4 star hotel, possibly it was 5 star long time ago, currently lots of area is under construction 🦺 🚧 so the garden and backyard is not looking pretty, and there was no warning about it during the booking process (not transparent practice sets disappointments for guests). Property itself is older looking inside the rooms too. Blanket had a few old looking stains. Isolation is old and not reliable as you can hear noises from bikes 🏍️ and cars passing by on the main road + the mattress was a soft type = my sleep was poor. Phone in the room doesn’t work to call 📞 (must be their strategic decision but not 5 star). Breakfast was ok, not much for vegetarians or vegans 🌱 though, but no barrister coffee and no alternative milk or signs 🪧 about dairy free yogurts etc, reminds you being at 4 star hotel again. Machine coffee was not tasty at all. Staff are kind and friendly but you feel they’re under pressure as there is not enough of them, when you’re waiting 15min in a queue for breakfast (while you can see many tables are empty). It’s possibly a good option for families with kids as they seemed to have fun at the pool. For couples, it’s a strange option, as it’s not romantic, costs like 5 star but in reality feels like a budget option. Good things: * Location is great, right on the beach 🏖️ and is the main benefit. Otherwise, value for money is low. * They gave us a free glass of champagne on arrival. * In-room dining was late by 1hr but it was on them too.

Came to this hotel for a week long work event. The staff were helpful. Food for the conference was okay & buffet breakfast was brilliant. The hotel is very dated and unfortunately my room was not very clean. They were also renovating the lagoons so the view of the pools and feeling of a luxury resort was gone. Also in the Pandanus room in one of bathrooms there was rat droppings on the sink bench. Bit of a mixed experience here unfortunately.

Great hotel (not a high rise which I hate), room was comfortable on ground floor with chairs and table outside, spacious wardrobe, kettle, fridge etc. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner and a good drinks and snack bar near pool. Service was excellent as was the food. There is a path along the cliff top for walks but beach access was difficult when we were there (early September) although children were happily sliding down the sandy cliff face to the beach. I presume they are in the process of building steps down. Very relaxing enjoyable stay with efficient friendly staff.

What a great hotel. It's got a great entrance as you walk through and see the huge glass windows looking over the Tasman Sea. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Lots of cupboards and drawers which I love and also a big bathroom which a huge spa bath / shower. The pool area is right by the ocean so you can dip in the pool or the sea. We love the walkway along the beach too! You can walk down and grab a coffee on your morning walk. A really great spot and we'll be back!

I surprised my partner with a trip to stay at Sheraton Grand Mirage with the intention to propose to her. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was spectacular. I was introduced to Lauren (manager) to discuss my plan to propose to my partner at a beautiful location at the resort and they were super accommodating. I pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the resort was and even more blown away by the generosity of the staff. Definitely recommend staying here and will definitely return again. By far the best hotel/resort experience we’ve ever had.

A little further out from the chaos of Surfers, which honestly was perfect, but close to all the great Main Beach cafés and restaurants (and the bus into town is super easy). The staff were absolute gems! Friendly, chatty, and full of good vibes. A couple of pool waiters could dial up the enthusiasm a notch, but everyone else was next-level lovely. We even bumped into the manager on our way out, a total legend, funny as anything. Would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone who likes a mix of laid-back luxury and genuine hospitality.

Stayed for 6 nights with my family and it was an excellent stay. The location is perfect being next to the beach and at the quieter end but also close enough to walk to the main centre or the tram stop around the corner. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need for a holiday. Cleaning service was amazing too. The pool and BBQ areas are very clean and secure for the kids. There are building works over the road but it's not like the hotel can do anything about it. We only noticed when we slept in late. We were made aware of this well in advance which was helpful.

This hotel falsely advertises its parking availability. Clearly says on their website that one car space is provided per apartment. This is not the case. There isn’t enough car parks. On our last night we came home at 9.30pm there were no parks left and we had to park a significant distance away. I called and tried to get help the person on the switch board didn’t care, the women on the front desk when checking out also just said she would “look into it” and didn’t seem to think it was an issue. A very very disappointing experience which put a negative end on our stay. I did receive a call from the manager after we left to apologise which I appreciated and is why the review is 2 stars not 1. There is also huge construction project going right in front of the hotel a big Meriton apartment building which expects to be going for another 2 years plus. So expect lots of very loud construction noise from 6am for about 10 hours a day in the week days. On a positive note our rooms were a good size, it was great having two bathrooms and laundry facilities. We also loved the pool!

Truly enjoyed our stay here. Beds were the most comfortable, beautiful view and best location. Right across the beach and a short walk to all the excitement. Staff were wonderful and helpful. And the place was super clean! I'll be back.

What a great experience!! From day 1 the staff were welcoming,friendly and super accommodating. Our flight arrived very early and we were at the hotel by 8am, waiting for our room at 2pm. The staff gave us a day pass to use the amenities and store our luggage whilst we waited and said they would try and fast track our room clean. We were highly doubtful given the hotel was fully booked however they had us in our room by 1030. Their service throughout the stay by different members from front desk, cleaners and maintenance staff was friendly and helpful for each interaction. My kids (11 and 8) absolutely loved staying here and enjoyed the pool the most whilst we were able to relax in the covered area and cook up a BBQ. I would definitely recommend the Rhapsody Resort and would stay here again right across the road from the beach. Thanks for the pleasant holiday and your staff deserve recognition of their fabulous service to their guests.

Very friendly staff, the view is amazing and the room are top spec, we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment it neat clean and spacious. The pools and spa is amazing not small but just the right size. Dont forget to check the terrace out on the 41st floor, you will be amazed.

The apartment was clean, modern and everything you would expect and the views breathtaking. Enjoyed every moment of staying there since its so close to the tram station getting around was pretty easy. Just the reception could have been better in so many ways.

We stayed at Rhapsody Resort for a few nights and had such a great experience! The apartment was clean and set up with everything we needed, had an amazing ocean view from the balcony. The location was super convenient, with the tram and bus stops just a couple of minutes away, making it so easy to get around. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made our stay even better.

I left some crucial medicine I need behind on the side of the fridge door. I checked out an when realising immediately call reception the next day. The staff was told me she could not communicate with the person in that room as it's not their policy or responsiblity for any lost property. This medicine is crucial for myself and people do make mistakes and forget when they are travelling and moving in the morning. I am totally shocked and disgusted by your response. It's amazing how you have this tune on your call waiting saying this is the holiday of your dreams. This is the worst hotel service I've ever experienced. Be warned if you dare forget anything in this hotel. I am more upset about how little care and cold the reception staff was. Your hotel jingle on the phone mentions it's the holiday of your dreams. However your staff are absolutely cold. A simple 'I will do me best to check for you and I realise that the medicine is important to you would have reassured me' However anyone reading this review and your reply realises my point when it comes to service and hospitality. It reinforced my point and it undoes any good work your cleaning staff and other hotel staff have done in keeping your establishment in such great condition.

We have always loved peppers but this time it felt different. The once polished,clean and classy peppers soul now feels like 5%of that polish is gone. My check in was a nightmare. Staff tried to make up for it. But even at that my room floor wasn’t vacuumed. Ritz crackers everywhere on sofa and floor. Outdoor balcony has crumbs, pistachio shells and old spilled liquids everywhere. Even Hyde Paradiso services and breakfast was below average. That was a complete waste of money! I love this location and once loved this hotel due to its top notch service and clean rooms. It just felt dirty The bellhop service was still top notch. That is really appreciated If you’re after luxury, this will disappoint you. The views and location are always a 10 out of 10. The staff and cleanness of room was a 5 out of 10

Simply stunning. This is not standard hotel accommodation; these are luxurious, apartment-style rooms with all the high-end comforts. The unit felt massive, featuring a full kitchen, large living room, and a laundry machine. The enormous, spa-like bathroom was the star, boasting two sinks, a separate shower, and an incredible whirlpool tub with a window into the bedroom for enjoying the view (or just relaxing). The balcony offered a jaw-dropping, quintessential Gold Coast view of the beach and ocean. The hotel’s amenities and service matched the quality of the room: we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools for a few laps, and the front desk was very helpful, securing us a later check-out. With restaurants, shops, and a supermarket right on the doorstep, the convenience is unbeatable.

Returned to Peppers Souls after a year and were again very well looked after. The 5 star hotel is centrally located with great views of the ocean on one side and the river on the other. Checkin experience was pleasant with great friendly staff. Special mention to two of their duty managers - Jess and Laura who went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Both Jess and Laura are an asset to the organisation. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and well presented. The only disappointment was that the outside pool and the spa was closed due to unplanned maintenance during our stay. The management were genuinely apologetic and did few little things to keep us happy. We will definitely return.

Fantastic apartment, just check out the pictures, and the views of the Gold Coast are stunning. Attended a Melbourne Cup Luncheon function at the Hyde Paradiso, and had a great day, of wining and dining. The menu or food selection was possibly one area that needs a little bit more variety, with hot dishes rather than just a selection of mixed meats , cheeses and other assorted dishes. The staff however, at the function were excellent and very friendly and catered to all of our needs. A big well done to the new manager, whose name might be Victoria?

DO NOT STAY HERE! Stayed here for our honeymoon. Selected 10am check-in, arrived at 10am and was told check-in was at 2pm. When asking staff if we could get in early we were told we were on the priority list and they would call as soon as the room was ready. At 2pm we had not received a call yet, and when we approached reception we were told the room was still not ready, even though it was the latest possible time for check-in. The staff were incredibly unhelpful, and did not care in the slightest. While we were trying to get this sorted, 3 other groups were waiting to speak to management about issues with their rooms not being cleaned or the same issue as us with check-in. We also selected late check-out, then got told we had to notify them 24 hours before checkout to check if this was possible. When we notified 24 hours before they told us instead to ring the morning we were checking out to see if this was possible which meant an early wake up regardless, which rendered this absolutely useless. To top it all off, the outdoor pool was closed for nearly an entire week for maintenance and cleaning. We were not informed of this at any point via email prior to our stay and chose this hotel over some cheaper options specifically because I have enjoyed the pool so much on previous stays. When we were told upon check-in the pool was closed, there was no alternative provided, no compensation offered, and no interest at all from the staff in hearing feedback about this. We were instead told “the indoor pool still works, and you can still go on the outdoor deck for a walk, you just can’t use the pool”. The front desk lady then instead suggest that myself and my heavily pregnant wife go and use the gym while we wait for our room to be ready. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it ruined the trip for us. I will never stay here again. I have spent thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars staying here over the years and will never be back now, this place has gone to hell.

Incredible stay at Peppers Soul resort. I stayed in a three bedroom skyhome on level 40 room 01. Was only there for three days but everything you could ever need was there. Ocean and city views? Check. On-site restaurant with a la carte? Check. Proximity to cavill Avenue and all other attractions? Check. Gym, sauna, spa and pools? Check. Amazing spacious rooms and did I mention the views??? Don't take my word for it go see for yourself!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed one night at this hotel and absolutely loved it! Our room had a stunning river view — so beautiful and relaxing. The room service was excellent, and the whole hotel had a very elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The pool, with its warm water and amazing view, was a highlight of our stay. Everything felt truly luxurious. I was very satisfied with our experience and will definitely choose The Star hotels again in the future!

We had a great stay at The Star Hotel. The place was very clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. Although the hotel is located above the casino, we didn’t hear any noise at all — we stayed on the 12th floor and it was perfectly quiet. The location is excellent, close to shopping centres, many great restaurants, and lovely cafés. Overall, it was a very good experience. Many thanks to the hotel management and all the staff for their great service.

Lovely clean room with a good view and all facilities. We stayed here as that was the meeting place at 3:30 am for our balloon flight! Made the early rise easier! Delicious breakfast in restaurant after the flight... What a wonderful experience.

Loved our stay at The Star celebrating our wedding anniversary in September. Check in was easy and smooth and got straight in. We figured it would be a little busy so did get there a little later but glad we didnt have to wait in line to check in. Valet was great and provided us with a secure parking space at the bottom of the hotel as our vehicle was too high. It has a code entry so felt happy knowing the car was in undercover parking. Initially we weren't sure how to get back up through the elevators but eventually figured it out. It was a little adventure! :) The staff were really helpful throughout our stay and even surprised us with a beautiful bottle of bubbles and card to celebrate, it was so throughtful! The food was amazing at Nineteen. We had the steak and duck and could not fault it. The location was perfect with the beach a short walk and lots of dining options available in The Star and nearby. We were there on the Starcation package and the inclusions were perfect for a couple.

Longest check in process ever! There was a massive line when we got there and had to wait in the line for 30 minutes to check in. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Also, the only amenities they left in the bathroom were soap, shampoos etc. no toothbrush, no amenity kit, or free bottled water. The room is very average for a 5 star as well. Underwhelming experience overall.

Always a pleasure staying at The Star. Despite the long wait to Check-in, Jackie and Kiki made up for the hiccup with their smiles and warm welcome. Watching and listening to Kiki carefully executing what she learnt along Jackie’s superb smooth support was very pleasant to see. The girls took me back to my days at the Marriott & Intercontinental Hotels as Operations manager … these kind of staff were rare back then…and still are these days I guess. Another highlight would be our dinner/meals at the Garden kitchen bar and the exceptional service by Michael.

It’s honestly just like a 3-star hotel! The only good thing about it is that the casino is accessible. The service and rooms are really poor quality. You could clearly hear noise from the neighboring rooms. In the bathroom, there was only one of each item shampoo, body wash, and conditioner , that’s it! It was ridiculous! We even had to pay $4 for a small bottle of water, and the TV only gives access to its own app. Overall, it was not a good experience!

We recently stayed here for our family holiday, location was perfect and staff were very helpful and attentive during our stay, however we felt that for a 4.5 star property the rooms were not quite up to scratch. The views were beautiful and the apartments spacious but the bedding was below average and you’d probably find better in a 3 star property. Sheets of poor quality and barely fitted the beds and blankets were worn and had holes all through them. We had a rollaway for our teenage son and it was so uncomfortable he ended up on the floor as no other alternative. Cost cutting was obvious throughout the room with limited supplies like dishwashing liquid/ extra teabags etc having to be paid for and the scourer to was dishes been cut in half. Extra tea towels etc also came at a charge. We were there for 5 days so amenities should have been given to accommodate this without extra charges. Utensils in room were very worn, tongs etc didn’t work and knives were blunt. Not even a chopping board was provided. Toilet seat and showerheads in bathroom broken/loose and wouldn’t stay in place properly. Lifts were a pain as under maintenance but would hope this was a short term issue. For a supposed 4.5 star property and the price we expected more and felt that these little things and the obvious penny pinching really let the property down. Not sure I would recommend this property if you are looking for luxury accommodation.

Absolutely delicious! My first stop on my holiday 2.5 hours of complete pampering bliss! Started with a sauna. Sea salt body scrub followed by a massage, body wrap, facial, and head and scalp massage with a leave in hair mask. Needed 15 mins to recover myself enough to walk home! First class. Cannot recommend highly enough. Expensive but worth every cent!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay for a family of 4 and it was great. Great Apartment, Great location, great facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful too. And on top of all of the good things, you can walk to the bar next door, from the pool!!!! Nice work guys. The only gripe is , the lift renovations delayed the lifts, but just had to time using them.

Everytime we went to Gold Coast, we stayed at Sheraton grand hotel on sea world drive. I stayed at Q1 GC for the first time. It was an awesome place to stay. The apartment was spacious and had everything that’s needed for a long stay. It was maintained clean and I loved the million dollar view from the room. I enjoyed watching the sunrise and also was easy to get out to eat and take a morning walk around surfers. The pool looked very nice and clean. I didn’t plan to get in, so didn’t go that way. I would go back there again and stay longer. Thanks Q1 for making my stay memorable

Stayed for 5 nights during September 2025. Floor 32 not directly facing the beach. Found the space and view and room inclusive to be of high standard. Coffee pods being replaced often, a washer and dryer within the room were very handy. Stove top etc could be great if you like to cook for yourself as pots and pans are also included. Fox Sports and included movie too.

Great location, easy and secured car park with never an issue finding a car space. Elevators in the process of being renovated. The renovated elevators look amazing. Rooms are dating but clean, tidy and warm in the winter months. The shower had some black gunk coming from the lower track but everything else was very clean. Kitchen has everything needed to function for the basic cook including a small draw dishwasher. Fridge was of a good size, lounges were of abundance, TV had all the Apps but not free to air TV. We just used the 7 & 9 Apps. Remember to sign out of your Apps before you leave. A very pleasant stay and will be returning.

We recently stayed here for my birthday and unfortunately it didn’t live up to its expectations. The room was quite dirty. When we entered there was black hair on toilet seat and in the shower on soap bottles. Dead animals on window sills and bits coming off from the wall that was on the floor. For over $1000 for 2 nights you’d expect the room to be spotless. The lifts were getting renovated and honestly it is plain ridiculous. There’s 2 lifts working and especially in peak times such as check in/check out you’re waiting over 40 minutes to get in the lift. We were waiting for 35 minutes with our luggage and 2 small children, who then started crying because it was taking so long. Everyone was getting angry. We ended up taking the stairs and no one person in reception cared about how stressful that experience was. We called up morning of checkout to get a trolley brought up to our room and it continuously rang out. My husband had to go down and get it himself (he has an injured knee) the service is not up to standard compared to other places. Finally the buffet breaky I would definitely skip. Food is cold. Not a huge variety. Can’t pick any other eggs other than scrambled. The muffin was stale, it was rock hard. I paid $106 for 2 adults and one 3 year old (who didn’t eat anything mind you) and it was such a disappointment. Overall for something that prides themselves of being a luxurious restaurant is definitely far from it. Service could really improve. I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

Absolutely blown away by our dining experience at Citrique! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Shiv and Bree went above and beyond to make our night amazing – they were both so friendly, attentive and professional. The food was incredible, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Every dish was just perfect, easily some of the best I’ve had on the Gold Coast. And the cocktails… honestly the best I’ve ever had. Each one was perfectly balanced and so creative, you can really tell the bartenders take pride in what they do. The whole evening felt special from start to finish. Citrique truly delivers on every level – amazing food, outstanding drinks and next-level service. I can’t wait to come back again soon!

This hotel surpassed our expectations, providing an unforgettable experience. From the moment we entered, the hotel's magnificent interior design captivated us. The rooms were equally impressive. We had a fantastic time at the artificial beach with a waterfall, complete with fish, and the pool with slides. The restaurants offered exceptional dining options, including 'Chapter & verse bar and lounge', which served mouth-watering cuisine and provided a colouring activity for children. 'Citrique' offered a vast breakfast buffet, and the staff were remarkably attentive. I would like to commend Front Office Agent Pranjal Sethi for being the epitome of hospitality. Upon arrival, she welcomed us with a refreshing drink and took the time to thoroughly explain the hotel's facilities and activities, also providing a gift pack for our child. Her warm demeanour made us feel valued and appreciated. During our conversation, she casually inquired about the purpose of our holiday and, upon learning of the special occasion, arranged for a cake and greeting card to be sent to our room, a delightful surprise that made the occasion even more memorable. Throughout our stay, she was helpful, lovely, and thoughtful. The rest of the staff also displayed excellent training, friendliness, and a pleasant attitude. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return.

My partner and I stayed at the JW Marriott Gold Coast for 1 night during the weekend of the GC 500 V8 Supercars. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with big smiles and amazing service. We booked an ocean/pool view room with breakfast included. They had a variety of sweet and savoury foods which we treated ourselves to. We had a lovely dinner at their in house Japanese restaurant, Misono. The staff there were again so sweet and the food was delicious. I would also like to say a special thank you to some of the staff & managers of the hotel, Chanel, Melika and Stephen who looked after us for the duration of our stay. They were so very kind to us and their service was amazing. The JW Marriott GC is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, we will be back next year for another great weekend.

One of my best resort stay!! ⭐️5/5. At the moment we went in the hotel the guy on concierge was nice + all the staffs that I interacted in FD were so friendly. The amenities that I got as an elite member is very kind of them - I am a marriott associate and this resort felt like i’m taken care off. Breakfast is worth checking out too, we can make our own juices. Amazing stay for a good reset 😊💯

The rooms were immaculate — spacious, modern, and with breathtaking views. The lagoon pool area was just stunning, and the atmosphere so relaxing. Breakfast at Citrique was next level — so many delicious options and fresh flavours. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool, dinner at Misono, and the service everywhere was first-class. The whole experience felt luxurious yet warm and personal. Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing Gold Coast getaway — worth every cent!

Lovely grand hotel though getting a tad dated. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it’s a large spread with a slight change of menu daily and great service. The external pool is quite unique in that they have aquatic fish you can swim with. Of course in winter it’s a little cold but nonetheless it was fun. No indoor pool. Great gym with proper equipment and there are some kids activities daily like sushi making class.

21 of us wanted to book for breakfast the day after our kids wedding. We weren’t allowed to book. So when we arrived, we told it was a half hour wait for breakfast and that they couldn’t accommodate a table of 21. 19 of the 21 we’re paying customers at $ 49.90 her head. We were seated over 4 different tables around the restaurant. We were unable to talk about the night before or raise a toast to the newly weds. We stayed only for around half hour, it was pointless being there. HOWEVER, your front of house staff really looked after the couple. The room was amazing. So thank you for that! Restaurant was a let down.

We love QT at Surfers Paradise. It's in a great location and the rooms are a great size. The king beds are so comfortable that we want to buy one ourselves. The breakfast is amongst the best buffets I've had. The food and service is always great. A lovely manager even gave us credit to make up for some renovations occurring and we didn't pay a thing for food and drinks for our 3 night stay! We will be back.

Literally have had the most beautiful weekend at the QT! Don’t worry about the pool being closed as the pool next door is lovely, plus you’re 2 minutes walk from the beach! We had a 2 night stay we did 1 night in a cabin 1 night in an ocean view room, The cabins are absolutely amazing they have thought of every detail for a stay to remember, the walk in, you pass the most magical little seating area with a fireplace in the middle to go to your very private cabin, it’s surrounded by greenery and the sounds of birds, with a little swinging egg chair and some extra table & chairs to relax on, the bed is so cosy and the window beside bed you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset, they supply T2 tea bags, and raw treats which include snicker flavour triangles bites, jammie dodger biscuits and salted I think sweet potato chips, which can be refilled on request which is included in your stay! We had a cheese board each night with drinks, so good and all the little touches are well thought out, at night we came home to some fresh herbal tea and a little chocolate such a sweet gesture! I’ll try post pics The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for you they are all very friendly and welcoming they had given us some jigsaw chocolate complimentary and I rang to request to buy some to bring home to our kids which they gave us complimentary too! Our ocean view room had the most beautiful view with a little day bed to enjoy the sunrise in the morning and beautiful pinks sky at night the rooms are very fresh and cosy all the bedding in each room was so comfortable and the bonus of having a Dyson hair dryer in the rooms plus good quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The balcony in our room was closed because of maintenance they are doing to the pool/hotel but didn’t make a difference to our stay as we could still enjoy the view from the comfort of our room I’m not sure this applies to all rooms as I did see some people out on their balcony when on a lower level. We used the gym while we where there, there is enough equipment to get a good work out in plus they provide towels and filtered water We booked in the yamagen japanese for the sushi making experience, it went for an hour and we got to make 4 large sushi rolls cut into four pieces it was actually so good! We got to eat the sushi and my husband had the whisky too he said it was great, The staff at the QT made this weekend so relaxing, they cannot do enough for you, this hotel has everything you need, we went to stingray to watch the lions game they have big screens and a good atmosphere, We didn’t get to try the spa but will be back again soon and will defs give it a go! The hotel is 5 minutes walk to surfers where you have lots of restaurants to choose from and plenty for the kids to do, location is very central but far enough away to be nice a quiet at night, the tram is a 3 minute walk. All in all had a great stay and will 100% be back with the kids the next time,

We had an enjoyable stay overall. Breakfast buffet pretty good. Staff were very friendly. We were very disappointed that the pool area was out of action the whole time (3 nights & still off limits) and were only told about this upon checking in. We did have use of the pool at the hotel over the road (see pic) which was lovely but not the same as relaxing on the premises here. We were woken early (6am) with building/construction works down near the hotel entrance (we were on floor 6). One of the main eateries was also closed for refurbishment. Balconies off limits too. We’re thankful for free breakfast buffet for our stay plus $100 room credit to compensate. But honestly if we knew about all this earlier we would have booked elsewhere. Room was great and beds super comfortable. Housekeeping was hit & miss. I imagine it would be a lovely place to stay after all the refurbishment/construction has finished.

Wonderful Hotel. We stayed for 5 nights from 16th Oct. All staff we encountered were exceptional, welcoming, helpful, accomodating and friendly. They made our stay most enjoyable. Im a true believer, if you make the effort to interreact nicely with staff, you will get the best in return. No one disappointed. Our Ocean View King Room was great, very comfortable bed, spaceous large room. Buffet breakfasts, good range, with cook to order omelettes (just ask) and the best pastries each day. (hotel has its own pastry chefs) Yamagem Japanese was brillant, the set menu high quality, 5 star service as well. A must visit. Stingray bar, cool fun vibe, eat one night, perfectly cooked steak, calamari and crinkle cut fries. Faultless. Reasonable prices. The hotels 4 lifts made floor access very quick. Never needed to wait more than 9 seconds ( yes I timed them ! ) 200m from light rail, beach a stones though away. ( I recommend get the Airport express bus 777 outside airport door, goes direct to Broadbeach South, then walk straight onto light rail to Cypress Ave Stop) 50 cents all the way, tap on/off with a credit card, way better than Uber. No timetable needed, plenty of services. Overall, the hotel felt like home, and thats all one can ask, for an enjoyable memorable stay.

I was fortunate to win a trip that had the QT as the accommodation. The staff were so welcoming on all levels, the best service I have experienced in my life. The food was exceptional and the king suite room was amazing, we loved the bed so much that we now want one. I highly recommend this place especially if you want your experience to be welcoming and comfortable. We didn't want to leave and look forward to coming back with our babies to experience this beautiful place.

We had such a lovely Halloween experience at QT Hotel! The food was delicious, and the chefs and staff worked beautifully together, bringing each dish and explaining all the sweets and treats in detail. Everything was so tasty and beautifully presented. Amazing customer service and a fantastic ambience — truly a memorable experience!

We came here for a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, the pool is out of action however the staff are very lovely and accommodating. In general the room was very lush and the hotel is really nice. The alternative pool facilities were excellent. I would avoid room service as it was very expensive and not very good. We ordered roast chicken but it came deep-fried. The staff here are excellent and dealt with all the difficulties incredibly well. The breakfast buffet was good but not as good as when it is in its permanent location.

We loved our stay in room 1910, it was quiet and well away from the noise. Despite the October long we k nd we had no problem with street parking. The bed was a little small (more like a double rather than a queen), but the room was clean and spacious. The views were amazing and we loved waking up to the sound and view of the beach. A very pleasant stay and we would come back.

Incredible hotel with incredible location. The service from the Concierge staff Michael was really amazing, not only he greeted us upon arriving but he also went above and beyond with his kind and attentive service. I asked if I could use the microwave, and he swiftly helped me to heat up my meal and added some extra touch with providing a bowl for my lunch. What a lovely service from the heart. Definitely 1 of the top 5 hotels I have ever stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel with a stunning sea view. The room was exceptionally clean, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were attentive and made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

We have always loved staying in Sofitel. So anywhere we go we aim to stay in Sofitel - and Sofitel Broadbeach did not disappoint. Tho I am not Platinum like my husband yet. Will see as my company grows. We actually consistently stayed in Sofitel Brisbane for almost 6 months and we got married in Sofitel Manila, there we also won the all-expense paid trip to Paris on a New Years Eve with VIP treatment in France and had an Exclusive Winery tour in Champagne France. We stayed in Sofitel New York.

From the Front Door Service to Reception Check-In ALL Staff on hand upon our arrival VERY Welcoming, Accommodating and added that little bit extra of customer service with Champagne on arrival if you wanted. Our King Size Room on Level 19 with River view Amazing, Absolutely Clean, Refreshing smelling. Variety of Tea and Coffe supplied within room. Wonderful and cool room we entered just how i like due to arriving on a humid day. Staff very accommodating allowed us to check in two hours earlier then expected. We had an excellent experience — the service was outstanding, the facilities were great and well maintained, and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything we needed was close by, with plenty happening around Broadbeach to enjoy after conference hours. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays!

Our stay was nice, with great customer service. But our bathroom was not clean, with soap scum and hairs at the base of shower door, scum around the sink facets. We wanted to have a relaxing, after-dinner swim, but the pool was closed at 7pm, which is a very unusual time, so that was disappointing.

I loved staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even made contact prior to my visit to ensure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious and had a great range of equipment for cooking and cleaning. The location is brilliant, so close to the beach, food, everything. Plenty of parking available and secure. The bed was too soft for my liking, but that is a personal choice.

We originally planned to travel to Bali on 9/13, but after the devastating floods there, we chose to extend our time in Australia instead. After a week in Brisbane, we headed to the Gold Coast and booked Peppers based on price and glowing TripAdvisor reviews—and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and accommodating. Even though we checked in early at 12:30 pm, our room was ready. Stepping inside was a complete surprise—the space was stunning and massive. It featured two full bathrooms, a laundry room, a spacious kitchen with a gas stove, three balconies, a large living room, and two full bedrooms. We couldn’t believe how much we got for our booking. The location was perfect: close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, parks, and grocery stores—central to everything we needed. Without question, when we return to the Gold Coast, Peppers will be our first choice.

Lovely hotel in Broadbeach. We had a 2 bedroom sky view apartment and the view was amazing. One of our showers had an issue and they promptly sent someone to fix it. Fantastic location to enjoy everything Broadbeach has to offer. Highly recommend

The hotel is great! I love the two bedroom residence which is good for a family. However, if sleep is important for you, this hotel isn’t in the right location. There was music blasting every night (we stayed from Monday to Friday) from midnight to 2pm and we were on the 21st floor but we could hear music, over our ear plugs and white noise machine.

My wife & I celebrated our 45th year anniversary & checked in on 3 October 2025 at the Hilton in Surfers Paradise. From the moment we checked in we were very warmly welcomed by the staff, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a gift from the hotel. Our room had a beachfront view & was very comfortable. At night time we experienced some rowdiness from the clubs across the street, but overall we were quite satisfied with our room & how clean it was. The breakfast at the Catch Restaurant boasted a great variety cuisine including personal preference omelettes. We also had dinner a few times at the Catch Restaurant & the menu had an excellent variety of meals and the service was impeccable. In particular we want to thank Pete from Catch Restaurant, who excelled in taking care of us & ensuring our stay in the hotel was truly a memorable one. He always took time to answer our questions. Pete was very sincere in ensuring we were well taken care of and in our opinion Pete is a great asset of the hotel & his efforts should be acknowledged. We would certainly recommend the hotel and stay there again in the future. Joseph & Susan

The hotel proudly boasts a prime location, nestled among a delightful array of restaurants, each hiding its own culinary treasures that burst with flavor. Upon check-in, I encountered a firm enforcement of the 3 PM arrival time; however, I was graciously granted access to the lounge, providing a comfortable retreat while I awaited my room. The panoramic room I reserved was not only spacious but also unveiled breathtaking views of the beach, which truly elevated my stay to new heights. The executive lounge brimmed with a cozy ambiance, although it did feel somewhat snug. I can easily envision them opening the patio during the warmer months to accommodate more guests and enhance the experience further. I appreciated the thoughtful layout, featuring two distinct seating areas that fostered warmth and intimacy during the winter season. Although the quality of the food varied on certain evenings, the lounge ambassadors, especially Connor, were incredibly warm and attentive, making each encounter a pleasure. The breakfast buffet at Catch was nothing short of exceptional! For those who thrive on a high-protein diet, the abundant selection will be a delightful feast. The fitness center, while fairly standard, effectively met my needs without ever feeling overcrowded. Overall, I would eagerly return to this hotel, though I would remain mindful of the costs in comparison to other properties that might offer more contemporary amenities. While the pool was spacious, I found myself drawn more to the ocean and the vibrant boardwalk, which provided a more exciting backdrop for my stay.

Spent a week in one of the 3 bedroom apartments in the main tower. The room was spacious and well kept, with incredible beach views. The buffet breakfast has plenty of options for every taste so if recommend including it in your stay. If definitely stay here again.

Stayed for two nights. The first night the noise from nearby nightclubs was so loud that sleep was impossible. I can usually sleep through anything but this was LOUD! Windows were aged and didn’t seal properly so the double glazing was ineffective. Very very loud until 4AM. The conference I was attending at the Hilton was unfortunately highly affected due to lack of sleep. I asked for another room for the second night which they accommodated. Apparently this was supposed to be a free upgrade away from the ‘noisy rooms’. Got my bill via email and they charged me extra for a quiet room on the second night. Happy to pay extra for a room you can sleep in but that shouldn’t require an upgrade. Worth looking at this hotel if you’re looking for something with ocean views which is close to the night club scene but not appropriate for business traveler's or conferences. On a positive note, they do have a ready supply of ear plugs at reception to combat the noise.

Things to know before staying - The pools areas get NO sun from about 3pm onwards. Adults pool only gets sun in the morning, the large pool doesn't get a heap of sun so just bare in mind when you get back in afternoon you'll be swimming in shade with a cold wind. In October the pool bar is only open for a few hours in the afternoon, and only few days a week, but that may change closer to summer. Carparking - is a breeze, handy and super easy to find the hotel lifts if you can read a sign, all though make sure you check in before trying to drive into carpark, as we couldn't get into the carpark even when they specifically said we could. Hotel is sort of dated, its clean and tidy but just a bit tired! Location is superb, breakfast is good and has a worth it selection.

Stayed at the Hilton for several years in a row, and it never disappoints. The rooms are modern, clean, and have stunning ocean views. Fantastic location everything you need is just a short walk away, though it can get a bit noisy at night due to the central location.

Room was nice, unfortunately the iron had something on it which burnt my shirt. Breakfast was tasty & location is good for the price which is at the lower end. Staff were welcoming and efficient. TVs that support streaming from Apple devices would be a big improvement. No toilet brush which I thought was s strange thing to leave out...

We were upgraded to the executive ocean view room on the 35th floor. We could see whales in the ocean. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathrobes and free mini bar was a great inclusion. Bathroom was spacious enough although the hot water was not perfect, it was hot. We had breakfast included and the buffet had many options and attentive staff. The location was ideal to be close to everything. Even from the top of the building there was a lot of noise - everything can be heard from the busy cavil avenue. The only thing to pick on was the curtains - they dont entirely block out the morning sun. My partner had to fix our curtains to prevent the sun from piercing through at 5am. The pool and spa is small and was filled with kids when we had a dip.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Surfers Paradise! I had a fantastic experience at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. The location is unbeatable—right in the middle of everything, just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions I had. My room was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the ocean. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like the complimentary water and toiletries. The buffet breakfast was also a highlight—lots of variety and great coffee. The pool and gym were well-maintained, and it was great having those amenities available after a day of exploring. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for couples, families, or anyone wanting a convenient and comfortable stay on the Gold Coast. Although the amount of people coming here monthly and yearly would be INSANE. Would absolutely stay here again!

Travelled to the Gold Coast to attend the Monster Jam Event on at CBUS Stadium. We were allocated in a lovely twin room with a fantastic outlook of the ocean. Apart from he view, the room was spacious, quiet and had comfy beds and pillows. The team went above and beyond, they were aware we were visiting for the event and had left two monster trucks in the room as an arrival gift for my son which absolutely blew his mind. We left the hotel with him saying that he now only wants to stay at the Novotel Surfers Paradise.

We booked the penthouse. WOW amazing and huge! Amazing views, huge 4 bedrooms with king beds and bathrooms. We also had fun in the rooftop plunge pool. We saw Wales from the balcony every day that was a bonus. Thank you for all the yummy gifts sent to our room including wine,champagne and cheese platter. The buffet breakfast was delicious and Derek looked after us and made us feel so special. Also a huge thank you to Derek for our warm fresh pastries, they were so yummy! To anyone contemplating the penthouse do it you won't be disappointed. Thanks to all the Novotel staff for making this a fantastic stay.

The good first. Staff are amazing. Very friendly and hospitable and nothing is a problem, everything has a fix. The staff made out stay positive. The location is amazing too. Ocean view room is beautiful. Bed comfort is average but the view makes up for it. The hotel itself is outdated. Our first room was full of mould. When we told the front desk they moved us immediately. The new room balcony handle was broken. We told the front desk and was fixed immediately. Breakfast is not too bad. The pool is outdated and breaking. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. But I don’t expect to be in a top tier hotel. Again, staff are amazing.

*Would NOT recommend this hotel.* Location is amazing. The rooms are just alright with a great view from the balcony. The service is very very poor. Buffet breakfast is not good. They don’t have signage for any items. It is all messed up and there’s hardly any staff to support you with your needs. Any ask from the technical team takes hours. Worst thing is the Wi-Fi connection. Being an international traveller, I found this to be a basic need but couldn’t get it even after complaining about it again and again. Very disappointed.

The service was amazing. The staff are very friendly, and as a Latino I felt at home since there are also Latin staff members. I forgot the keys to my luggage and Claudio, such a great guy, kindly solved the problem for me. Erika and Ana are very kind and attentive as well. The buffet and dinner were delicious. Without a doubt, this would be my first choice when I return to the Gold Coast.

Wonderful team on reception, upgraded our room for my daughters birthday. Amazing stay, could not fault it. Left a great review after check out. However have only just gotten through on the phone after trying for 2 days, on various times of the day to call. Ive followed up why my deposit had still not be refunded. "No issue, we will release on our end now" after 6 days? I also took this opportunity to enquire about 2 items we had accidentally left in the room, a samsung phone charger and a bonds tshirt. Minor and not a big deal, but I was left with a stonewall "I cant see it on the housekeeping log" We went straight home after packing, I know I left those items. Its just pure dishonesty that gets me. Wouldve reccommended, unfortunately now I will not.

Stayed 1 night, paid $100 for room security. Didn't get it back. The 10 day wait been and gone lol. No one answers the phone at reception. Note to self, book yr own accommodation. Sorry sis, this place wasn't great. The buffet breakfast wasn't good. Ran out of scramble eggs , mushrooms, coffee machine was on the blink. Had a spa and kids can jump in splash, kick around with thier snorkel gear on, was a hoot lol, got out and called the kid and the dad c,-ts, that was satisfying. Comphy beds, big shower, they had complimentary toiletries which was handy. The end

The food service at the hotel was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, some of the kitchen staff were not very courteous, and there were instances that felt discriminatory. The menu lacked variety, with the same dishes being served repeatedly. Given the high cost of the hotel, the overall experience did not feel like good value for money. Additionally, ordering a specialty coffee such as a latte or cappuccino came at a steep extra charge, which was surprising for a hotel in this price range

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend We were very disappointed with our stay at the Crowne Plaza. The first room we were given had visible cobwebs and, despite booking a room advertised as having a corner spa (both on the website and through direct communication), it had no such feature. When we raised this with staff, we were told that there are actually no corner spas in the hotel at all, and when we queried this with the duty manager we were told it was "a spa with no jets" — which is misleading at best. We were then "upgraded" to another room with a so-called spa, but it was no larger than a standard bathtub and definitely didn’t live up to the expectation or the price paid. Neither room felt like good value, and the whole experience was underwhelming. The only positive part of our stay was the food — it was excellent, and the restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the misleading advertising and disappointing accommodation. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed in Meriton surfer paradise 2 bedroom ocean view apartment for 2 night. It is located in an excellent position, however the offsite carpark is a bit far. Inside the apartment has a great ocean view and was well equipped. The kitchen utensils could be better however. The spa and sauna pool in level 5 was excellent and spacious. Will come back again next time we are in GC.

I was impressed with the high level of service in the very busy hotel. The ocean room we were provided was very clean especially the bathroom and kitchen. The outdoor pool was very warm and enjoyable. Both restaurants on property had great quality food worth the price. The lady on reception her name was Vidhi her knowledge of the property and surrounding area was exceptional and her level of customer care and sevice was very above board she really went above and beyond for guest with such care which was very much appreciated.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is our second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything and beautiful views from the rooms. The cleanliness, quality of service, and the staff’s professionalism are truly impressive. Everything was neat, comfortable, and well-maintained. We definitely plan to come back again on our next trip. 👌🏻🌟

The hotel itself was in a great location and the inside pool was perfect but the service itself wasn’t great. We stayed for 5 nights, dishwasher didn’t work (which they ended up swapping for another) the fridge leaked water and the washing machine was full of mould which got stuck in one of my nice dresses…. We also didn’t expect house keeping so got ourselves some necessities from the shops, they turned up early one morning wanting to change towels, we said yep with no issues then she took the extra toilet paper we brought from Woolies. THEN came checking out, do you think we could get a lift? 25 minutes we waited for a lift to get down to the ground floor to check out.

To be honest, I was kind of disappointed with my stay here…. Firstly the room was not at a high standard the fixings in the rooms look incredibly cheap and the finish is coming off. Embarrassing. Anyway it was very dusty, fixings not cleaned properly, a general musty smell and carpet that did not feel clean- not to mention one of the pillows smelt like mildew and could not be slept on. This is really not the quality I expect from such a large and expensive hotel range. The most frustrating thing about this hotel was that we had to park in the outdoor, unsecured park across the street from the hotel, it was about a 2 minute walk into the lobby, sounds fine right? Now imagine not being able to access your car because the wind is strong and it is raining heavily. I had to choose between being soaked and freezing or not being able to use my car. Safe to say I was cold, wet and not impressed. Again just not the quality i expect from a meriton product, disappointed and won’t be staying here again.

Quite disappointed with this hotel. We booked 2 nights with our small baby because we wanted a relaxing stay in a nice, luxury property. While the view was beautiful, we found multiple cockroaches in our room — not just one. There was one on the balcony, so we had to keep the door closed the entire stay, which completely defeated the purpose of booking a hotel with such a nice view to enjoy. We also found cockroaches in both bathrooms and the living room. When I mentioned this to reception, I was told it was “because it’s hot,” as if it were normal. This is absolutely not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.

Very disappointed, dirty and filthy. When we walked into the room, the first thing we saw is a big water bottle on the floor. Ok, it may be a small mistake by housekeeper, so we called the customer service to remove the bottle. Then we opened the balcony and want to enjoy the beautiful beach, but shocked with the dirty chairs full of dirty sand and food from the previous guest. Then called the customer service, no apologies at all, it looks like they treat this as normal. Then, the worst and most disguising thing is when my wife opened the toilet, it's so dirty and the disguising urine around the toilet bolw. It has been more than 30 minutes(as writing), still no one come up to clean it. So, I tried to report this to the manager, first they said the manager was on a break, please come back after 30 minutes. Then after 30 minutes, I went down to reception, the staff told me again to wait for other 30 minutes, ok, I waited. 30 minutes later, I came down to reception the 3rd time, the staff Jassica very rude, and asked me to come back 30 minutes again, or wait at the long queue where people waiting for checking in. Very unhappy, terrible customer service, dirty and filthy room, disguising toilet, bad, rude staffs, no one care, no apologies, whatever you can imagine..... don't stay here at least you want to receive all what I have experienced with Mariton. THEY JUST DON'T CARE.

Exactly what I needed- a modern, clean, quiet room with an awesome ocean view. To top it off I received excellent service from the welcoming, friendly reception ladies. An easy walk to Woolworths and good Thai food at the base of the building. Onsite basement parking and a perfect breakfast cafe right at the entrance- Sens cafe. Amazing food and coffee. Will definitely be back again whenever I need a convenient mini getaway. Thank you. ☺️

Check in wasn’t a smooth process as it was when we visited last year even though I had used the same debit card this year as i did for last year. 1st round of housekeeping was top notch while 2nd round of housekeeping did not even clear the trash. They also cleared clearly unused towels (still folded and on the table) but left used towels left on a chair behind. Requested for bath towels to be sent up and waited more than 40 minutes for them and still waiting at the point of writing this review. Called reception to chase and stressed that I’m running late, it’s been more than 15 minutes since the call and still no bath towels even though he said he has informed the associate. Last year’s stay was pleasant, complete opposite from this year. We will not be returning.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice, and I truly appreciate the seamless convenience it offers. With a supermarket, restaurant, tram station, and coffee shop all just steps away, everything you need is easily accessible. Additionally, the hotel’s facilities are exceptional, making for a delightful experience overall. I highly recommend this hotel. 🕊️🙌🕊️

The booking process was a disaster and deeply embarrassing. Our travel agent's reservation had chargeback applied to only one room instead of three, forcing us to pay for the additional room—which was then also charged to our director's card. It took 10 days and multiple follow-ups to get the refund. For my Eminence bookings, two guests arriving from London at 1am were denied room access because the card on file wasn't theirs—defeating the entire purpose of a reservation held with a CC. A colleague from another company had to come down in her pyjamas to pay! To prevent this recurring, I pre-paid online for the next guest, but she was still denied access because payments take two business days to clear. After battling an extremely rude receptionist over the phone to try and get my guest access, I was directed to call their reservations team (because the onsite staff apparently have no visibility over payments!) and they staff refused to note the payment against her booking. She initially insisted on in-person payment (risking double-charging yet again). Only after contacting her superior was the booking finally noted and the guest allowed access. This was the most unprofessional corporate booking experience I've encountered. Combined with dated rooms, people smoking indoors on my floor and terrible service from the day receptionist, I will not use Meriton again.

The hotel itself is great and it's conveniently located above woolworths and near the G:link. Downside is no good food options within walking distance and generally a little further from the beach than hotels located in Main Beach or Broadbeach

Just finished a 12 night stay on the 33rd floor. Staff here a super friendly and helpful, the Hotel is very impressive and spacious. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area, there is a supermarket very close by as well. Perfect spot for a relaxing break. I am working on the Gold Coast again next February and will get staying again.

Such a fabulous stay. The accommodation was bright, spacious, clean and comfortable with a large balcony and lovely view (we booked an ocean view). Beach just across the road. Pool looked nice (weather was sunny but a bit cool this time of year for us to use it). Close access to a delicious bakery cafe for brekky and lunch, an Ezymart and bottle shop, plus a few other eateries. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Could not have asked for a better stay for our week away at Burleigh. Everything was perfect. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed (could have used more garbage bags, and some condiments would have been handy). Very close to shops, cafes, and the beach. Easy to walk to everything you might need. The view was spectacular and the hotel grounds were impeccable. The pool area, sauna and spa were all well kept and clean. Will definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here with my extended family. Loved the location and the layout of the apartment, however the standard of cleanliness in the apartment we were allocated this time (L7) left a lot to be desired. The apartment smelt of cooking oil and all the crockery and cutlery needed to be washed before use due to sticky residue. There were a lot of cobwebs and dust around all the fixtures and furniture and the bathrooms were less than an acceptable standard of cleanliness for the cost - hairs, dust, soap scum, cockroaches etc. Only one of the lifts in the building were functioning and even this was hit and miss with wait long wait time and ability to close doors

Second time this year and we also visited November 23, this time we had room 2804 8th floor on the north tower, which was very well presented and obviously been refurbished to a high standard. Only thing that let it down was the large rug in the lounge had many stains on it which was a shame also the chairs outside were not very good looked dirty but some kind of mildew. I would definitely stay here again. It would be nice to return once all the work on the light railway has finished.

We had a lovely stay in a modern renovated 1 bedroom unit on the ninth floor, outstanding view of the beach and hinterland. The unit was clean, comfortable bed, big television with foxtel and all the conveniences needed for a 5 night stay. Great pool, spa and sauna. Easy parking and close to everything, highly recommended for a couple.

I've stayed here several times before and I do enjoy the location and especially the beautiful ocean views. This time around, I was disappointed by several things. In Room 2101, the rug in the living room really needs looking at. It needs to be replaced or be professionally cleaned. 'Little things' could also be addressed: not one spare roll of toilet paper in the the two bathrooms and no salt and pepper, both of which I believe to be basics. The outside pool was also being repainted and although it was still technically 'open' to visitors, it was NOT a relaxing place to be, with tradesmen, paint cans, transistors blaring etc. The rooftop was also out of bounds due to maintenance. There was a lot of construction happening in The Esplanade and on the Gold Coast Highway and the work went all day and all night, so very difficult to sleep. On the positive side, I still loved the views and found all Reception Staff to be very courteous and efficient. I really hope this feedback helps you to: 1. Warn visitors of the maintenance work and the surrounding construction work 2. Inspect the rug in Room 2101 3. Provide the 'little touches' that we have all come to expect in what would otherwise be an excellent stay.

We have stayed here in the past and it’s a great location and staff are always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately this time we found the room extremely tired looking and needing a lot of maintenance all round. Hope these apartments are going to be updated as we love the location

The Darling Gold Coast was honestly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Everything felt so fancy and special from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond, and when they found out it was my birthday, they surprised us with a free upgrade to the penthouse! We could never normally afford something like that, so it was such a once in a lifetime experience for us. The room was stunning, the views were incredible, and the whole stay just felt unforgettable. We honestly can’t thank them enough for making our trip so amazing. Highly recommend!

Our stay at The Darling was absolutely wonderful. The service and attention to detail were exceptional. The concierge team made everything effortless with their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, and it really elevated the whole experience. The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere felt special, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. It was a memorable stay and we would love to return.

I've syayed here several times and it's usually such a treat because I tend to stay positive. But when i notice things that happen over and over again that's when i feel the need to say something. One of the ladies at the front desk could be a little warmer and friendlier, I've checked in and out with her twice now (about a year apart) and she gives off a bit of an aloof vibe. I've worked in very high end hotels internationally for many years (Aman Resorts, Four Seasons etc) and you wouldn't want cold staff who seem to look down their noses at your guests to be greeting them. The woman on the phone when I called to add a room to our reservation was rather short as well. The pool ordering would also be better if you could just order straight from your phone using the QR codes provided, put your name and room number down with a credit card to guarantee for payment if necessary. When I called the front desk at around 9pm the phone just rang forever, i tried twice and no answer both times, not even diveeted to an operator or another department. The snacks at the minibar in room used to be complimentary, but now they're a rather high priced charge, i understand charging for minibar, but maybe start off small, because $13 for a tiny chocolate bar that used to be free is just plain robbery. I also noticed a shift in bath products over the years, it used to be Balmain products which are very nice, with subtle and luxurious scents, now it's Jo Loves by Jo Malone which have much harsher smelling products. The beds are a little too soft for our liking, feels like your being smothered, sinking into cushioned oblivion. Other than that, we love the rooms, love that it's soundproof so you cannot hear the traffic below. Love the colors, the spaciousness, the cleanliness, and that it's attached to the Star Grand and all of its restaurants via the casino. The room service was quick and friendly. We'll be back again, but hope to see improvements, especially in the service side of things.

Stayed at the Stellar King. Amazing room. Really spacious. Really elegant. Great view too! Service from the front desk was amazing. We check in late at night, they let us check out a little later which was much needed as we drove directly from work at Brisbane straight to the hotel. Will be back!

How to ruin a getaway…. Stay at the darling Upon check no one advised us the pool would be taken up by photographers and models and would be out of bounds for hotel guests..my whole reason to stay here was for the rooftop pool and the quietness it comes with Try ordering room service was near impossible QR codes didn’t work so went without Room for 2 with amenities for 1 …. You knew the room was booked for 2 When i convened the message to the lady at checkout she laughed it off and said hopefully next time will be better… great staff that represent a brand going downhill at a rapid pace Don’t stay here if you want to ruin your holiday

Stayed a few nights for business conventions and I would happily stay again. Rome was very clean and bed was very comfortable the service was hit and miss most of the time it was great sometimes it mediocre perhaps they were newer staff still developing in service level capability. I enjoyed the pool and the location was very good with many fine dining restaurants close by.

Another fabulous stay at The Darling at the Star Gold Coast. The penthouses are spectacular. Valet parking included. Highly recommended room service breakfast. Spectacular pool.

Our stay was only short and sweet but we wish we could’ve stayed longer !! The staff both the remote ones as we had a late check in and the staff at reception in the morning were amazing. Couldn’t recommend more. Such a cute and funky little vibe can’t wait to experience a new room. The only problem we had was the roadworks out the front that affected parking. In terms of noise etc we barely had any problems after around 9:30.

Great funky place. Rooms were great. A special mention to Samara and the cleaning team who located a small charm that I'd lost during my stay. Samara even posted it to me through registered post without seeking any reimbursement, which I found very humbling. Highly recommend Samara and the whole experience at The Pink Motel 😍

stayed here a year ago but just want to say how fantastic the staff are; amazing, kind people who really care about their customers. we had some extremely rowdy neighbours who were swiftly spoken to after complaints from us. the next day we were kindly treated to some free champagne as compensation (which we didn’t ask for or expect at all). would highly recommend, but overall their customer service is top notch.

Top location, friendly and helpful staff, good price with being opposite the beach. BUT, the room had no sink so you had to use the bathroom basin for cleaning or drinking -- not hygienic. Also extremely noisy with the Karyoake being held right next door until late. The gate needs to be closed to stop patrons of Eddie's Grubs loitering drunk in the Hotel grounds and making lots of noise until after midnight.

We had our wedding here in July 2024, everything was amazing. The ceremony was in the Artist suite and photos around the beautiful building. We stayed for 2 nights. It's was the perfect unique location and suited us in every way. Hoping to be back every anniversary.

Our room was amazing we stayed in the Medusa suite. It was our anniversary so they had a bottle of prosecco in our room when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again

The first impression after exiting the lift was a little dull. The common area could do with a facelift. However the apartment was WOW! The rooms were clean, spacious. Clear sight of the beach, nice balcony, kitchen had all utensils you would need. We loved both the pools and used them regularly. They were well maintained and clean. Did not used the gym but saw other guest used them. Gym appeared to have enough variety of equipment. Location was fantastic, cross the road and you get the beach, cross the road and you get a cafe, take away shop and the Bowls club 1 minute away where you can get lunch and dinner.

This is the second time we have stayed at Oceana on Broadbeach, we love it!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing was a bother - even when our flight was cancelled and we arrived later than anticipated - all instructions for check in were pre arranged. The rooms are top notch - spacious, clean and comfortable. But best of all are the views, the stunning sun rise and handy location with cafes and takeaways across the road, and easy beach access. Thanks again Oceana on Broadbeach!!

The staff and facilities are excellent. Simple to check in and great security in place .pools available to cool off in with a fantastic pool area to relax . All facilities are there for your enjoyment. Was sad to leave

We had the best trip, the room was incredible with views of the water from every room. It was spacious, had all facilities needed to live comfortably and staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back asap!

This place should really rate more stars however I could only rate it according to our experience. The apartments are nice enough but getting a bit dated and could do with some maintenance. Also missing items in the room although reported to reception and greeted with a smile, nothing was done about replacing them. But the worst thing of all was the unbelievable location of our room. We were placed immediately above another apartment getting renovated! So we had the joy of jackhammers, hammers and chisels, and power tools reverberating through our room for just about every day of our 6 night stay! Whilst the staff were apologetic they did nothing to fix it for us. The right response would be moving us to a quieter location or even offering us a discount for our troubles. But nothing was done, we paid full price for an apartment which we couldn't peacefully stay in during the day at all! So it's very doubtful we will go back. One thing I can say, the pool and garden area was lovely (we spent a lot of time there away from the noise in our apartment). So at least they've got a gardener who is doing a really good job!

This is our third visit to Oceana. We love it here. The staff are very kind and helpful. Highly recommended. Till sometime soon 🏖️🏖️

Was luckily enough to have stayed here for work but was unfortunately too busy to be able to enjoy all the facilities. Stayed in a king room which was spacious but shaped funny, so the tv was at a weird angle with the bed. Buffet breakfast was $50 but there was a huge range of food items including the staples plus diy juice maker, açai bowls and omelettes made to order.

As a Sydney-sider who normally runs at a frantic pace, the InterContinental QLD staff forced me to stop, relax, and operate purely on 'Queensland time'—and I am so grateful they did! This hotel isn't just a luxury stay; it has a beautiful, genuine community vibe. From the moment we hit the breakfast area after the first night, we were family. The absolute dream team of Veronica, Sophie, Jube, and Trisha knew us by name, always greeted us with a warm chat, and cleared our plates before we even had a chance to wonder where to put them. And the coffee! Evylin is the barista you wish you could smuggle home. Her personalised coffee orders were always perfect. The breakfast experience was topped off by Chef Quintin, who handled my 'difficult' egg requests like a champ—and by day two, he remembered the order and my name. What a way to start every morning! The entire staff, from Sam at the front desk, breakfast crew to the Pool Lagoon, is willing to go above and beyond to help. If you're looking for world-class service combined with a warm, home-away-from-home feeling, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We were quite disappointed with our stay. It seems there are not enough staff which required queuing and waiting….,check in and check out both very slow. We took our own bags to and from the room as there was no one around to help. Waiting for a table at breakfast was another 15 minute wait. Pool towels were never stocked requiring another wait while staff went to find some. The staff were all very pleasant but the overall service was write poor. I was also disappointed there seemed to be no way for the concierge to arrange a game of golf. I managed to organise one myself with a little bit of effort

Stayed last weekend and had a genuinely perfect stay. Room with a lovely view of the marina, lagoon, pool and kangaroos. Was greeted on arrival by friendly Concierge, offered sparkling wine while waiting to check-in, transferred to the tennis courts in a luxury shuttle bus, and received excellent service at The Fireplace for dinner. Every interaction with the staff was met with enthusiasm. Highly recommend for a weekend away.

We love and would recommended our stay here. Coming during the weekday so we feel like we have the resort ourselves. Full of kangaroos. Services brilliant. Facility awesome. Drink at the pool bar is very nice! The verandah cocktail could be better. We had a dinner at verandah the food is actually amazingly nice (burger, squid and pizza) dessert cheese cake is also very nice. The heated pool in winter is still cold (not freezing cold) def not warm. We only used the pool at noon (which is not that cold) the spa is warm and decent size we use the spa with our little one a lot. The lagoon pool is really nice too with sand and play toys provided. The room is a bit rundown but everything is working with good hot shower. Our room is on ground level so we can go straight to the lagoon from our room!

We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm, the food was delicious with that beautiful woodfire flavor, and the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Paigey — she was so genuine, kind and attentive, and really made the night feel special. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a fabulous 1 night Birthday stay. From a wecome glass or two of Cuvee to lazing by the pool. Wife and I opted for the club package and ate in the wood fire restaurant. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Service by Nici was awesome, we could not have been made to feel more welcome. Thankyou.

Lovely apartment in a fabulous location with nearby restaurants, shops and beach across the road. Our apartment had views of both ocean and mountains. Really enjoyed our stay and I look forward to visiting again. Such a beautiful part of the Gold Coast right near the border of Qld & NSW.

The service from booking to check out was excellent. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The room is very modern, clean, comfortable and has all that you require for a stay. Our room was on the North Western side of the building and had great views to the ocean and the hinterland. However it is in shade for a good part of the day which does make the unit a little cool. As the sun didn't shine on the balcony till mid afternoon and was only on the balcony for a short time we couldn't spend much time out there at this time of year. In summer this may not be as much of an issue but in June it was. Additionally it made the room cool at night. There is ducted aircon which we did needed to use. I would suggest going for a ocean front room if you like to watch the water and enjoy the sun.

We had a family holiday and stayed here. The apartment had everything we needed. The views were amazing from the balcony. The location is very convenient for the GC airport and about 40 minutes to Surfers Paradise with traffic . It was a perfect family holiday. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Iconic. Had everything we needed and furnished perfectly. We are a couple and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the 11th floor and had plenty of room. Very clean and because we stayed more than 7 days we had the apartment serviced mid week. The ocean views were outstanding. I enjoyed swimming in the pool. Close to beach, restaurants, hotel, 7/11 and bus. Reception staff were helpful when required. Overall very satisfied and we hope to return when the sun shines.

Was not impressed when checked in at 7pm on a Saturday night . Management knew I was late for checking. Another car was in my car park. I informed after hours management as I did not want to take others car park. The visitors car park was full, The ah manager told me to park on the street - I was not happy as it was dark and a busy area . Took me over 20 mins to find a street car park 3 trips to take my belongings up. I’m 68 and travelling solo. I was quite anxious. The a h management seemed not bothered with my situation . There appeared to be quite a few vacant car parks but did not suggest to use them . This was not a good start to my holiday. Also the pool could not be used for the week but no compensation was offered.

We often stay at Kirra Beach and the Iconic is absolutely fantastic! Great location, beautiful and spacious apartments and lovely staff. Communication was excellent and even though we arrived out of hours it will all very easy.

I think this has been the best place I have stayed at Coolangatta The Iconic was a very modern apartment we got a room with an ocean view, the views were amazing it was so beautiful, the apartment had a very very comfy bed and a smart TV that was big, the towls were provided and all of the kitchen utensils and all that, the dryer and washing machine was good too, other than that my only concern is the air con was only on the main room but not in the bedroom but really it didn't ruin the experience so it doesn't bother me. You also get complimentery coffee capsules so that's a plus too. Not to mention the pool was nice too pretty warm too, next to the pool there was a BBQ area too it was very nice. 5/5 I will definitely come back here again soon.

I am writing to express my disappointment following our recent stay at your hotel. My partner and I have stayed at the Imperial many times over the years — from single rooms to penthouses — and we have always appreciated the comfort, quality, and service that set your hotel apart. Unfortunately, our most recent visit in a Lagoon Suite was our worst experience to date. We were informed by staff that there were known issues with the room, which makes it even more disappointing that we were allocated it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the suite was not up to the standard we’ve come to expect. The toilet did not flush properly, several lamp shades were missing, and others were crooked or damaged. The couch was broken, and the bed was so worn and unsupportive that both my partner and I have since required multiple massages to ease the back pain we developed during our stay. This was meant to be a relaxing experience, but instead it was stressful and uncomfortable. Additionally, I could not shake the feeling that I was being unfairly judged during our stay — particularly because of my dreadlocks — which only added to the sense of unease and disappointment. We have always spoken highly of the Imperial Hotel and recommended it to friends and family, but this experience has left us questioning that loyalty. I would appreciate an explanation as to why we were placed in a room with known problems, and what steps the hotel can take to address this situation

The hotel still got it’s charm. Very classy lobby area, I just wish there were refreshments on arrival to match the grand entrance. Additional check-in staff would be greatly appreciated. There was only one when we arrived which took a while. A bit of struggle specially when traveling with kids. Rooms were spacious and location is easily accessible. Breakfast staff, mostly Asian were all very attentive and provided great assistance. Had a great stay overall! ❤️

It’s an interesting hotel as you can see how opulent it would’ve been in the 2000s and early 2010s with the Versace branding and clout and celebrity visits. But the rebrand and withdrawal of a lot of funding has made it go downhill, it would be very expensive to run a hotel of that size especially in Australia and corners have been cut and experience reduced as it’s just a slightly upmarket hotel now with dated and worn furniture and interior and exterior paint that’s very 2000s. Without the name and prestige it’s just a dated ‘luxury’ hotel that can’t provide the level of five star service it used to and can’t afford to replace and upgrade as the hotel is massive. It doesn’t have the historical significance at the moment to be a Raffles so it’s sort of stuck being a a worn and unloved version of its former self with reduced service and menu alongside the unused rolls Royce out the front, antique chandelier and beautiful flooring and pool. It’s interesting to see the opulent architectural features but for $300 you can have a better location and furniture and plumbing elsewhere. Also with the Marina Mirage shopping centre also a shadow of its former self and being demolished for a luxury hotel, there aren’t really places to eat where there were restaurants, cafes, supermarket and McDonald’s before right next door. The location is far from the new upmarket hub of modern eateries and breweries at Broadbeach and isn’t near the beach and public transport. In the past it had multiple restaurants and a shopping centre next door but now it’s kind of isolated. You’d get better value and a more luxury experience staying in Broadbeach in Peppers or similar next to the lightrail and options of buzzing restaurants or upmarket Mamasan and fine dining around the Star Casino and Pacific Fair shopping centre. The Imperial’s location is marooned and isolated away from the hub now if you have money it makes more sense to stay closer to that area and have a nicer hotel as there isn’t anything around the Imperial anymore and not much dining. The pool is beautiful and Italian theme is unique but doesn’t justify the price now unless you want to uber all the time to Broadbeach or stick to a limited menu. I wonder how this hotel will do when a newer more luxurious one will be built on the Marina Mirage site next door.

I’m from Brisbane and have stayed here numerous times, but this review is all about the continental breakfast — it’s absolutely worth the drive! The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I drove all the way from Brisbane just for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. About 40 minutes before breakfast ended, I asked a staff member if they could whip more cream. He was so kind and offered to do it, even though it would take 15 minutes. I declined, but really appreciated the gesture — that’s great service. Just one small suggestion: please keep a bit more whipped cream on hand!

Awesome Luxury experience with a great package deal including daily buffet breakfast, $50 daily dining credit, welcome drink and late checkout in a Lagoon King room with spa. Food was great (at Il Barocco restaurant and Le Jardin bar), bedding was super comfortable, entertainment (Cassidy Wilson, pianist and singer) was fabulous, overall vibe was high class. It is in a quiet area with a marina nearby with restaurants or walk 15-20 minutes to Tedder Avenue for other dining options (and divine gelato at Rose Gelataria). Convenient location with bus stop across the road and for less than a dollar you can travel to Pacific Fair, Broadbeach or Harbourtown for shopping and food. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away behind the Sheraton across the road, where it is also perfect for a morning walk by the beach. The pool was wonderful with a segregated area for adults only and the sun lounges were very comfy. Section in the middle of the pool area for the kids to play in the sand. Overall the experience was wonderful and highly recommended. Will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the candlelit tribute to the Beetles on strings at the Imperial Hotel Gold Coast. Perfect venue to have a drink or two before the show or even a meal! The ballroom where the concert was held has brilliant acoustics. Highly recommend!

My recent experience at the Imperial Hotel in the Deluxe Suite was truly remarkable. Upon entering the suite, I was immediately struck by its elegant design and luxurious atmosphere. The spacious living area, beautifully decorated, provided a perfect space for relaxation, enhanced by stunning views from the large windows. The king-sized bed offered exceptional comfort, and the marble bathroom, featuring a soaking tub and premium amenities, added to the rejuvenating experience. With impeccable service and a delightful dining experience at the hotel's restaurant, I highly recommend the Deluxe Suite for anyone looking for an unforgettable luxury getaway.

Our experience with this hotel was a mixed bag, starting with a significant challenge: parking. The parking garage is a logistical nightmare—the space is extremely tight, especially on the corners, and the signage is unclear. When it's full, as it was for us, it becomes dangerous and difficult to manoeuvre with other large vehicles, It was a stressful and time-consuming process to even find a spot, never lone get to the front desk, which wasn't an ideal start after a very long day. However, things improved upon arrival. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, and we were checked in quickly. The room itself was clean, modern and comfortable. We appreciated the hot shower, soft towels, and cozy bed. The balcony offered a lovely and peaceful view. While the hotel is conveniently located near the casino for dining and entertainment, it was disappointing that there was no bottled water provided in the room, especially after a long day. We also couldn't confirm if there was room service as the phone wasn't working. Overall, it's a pleasant but simple hotel that doesn't quite live up to its price point (which was quite high, over $500 a night) or star rating compared to other options nearby. Whilst we wouldn't personally stay here again, we would recommend it for those visiting for business or to enjoy the casino's entertainment.

Like others we found the car parking really off putting and tricky - some better signage and guidance as part of booking confirmation would really help. Once we arrived reception staff were great (though we didn’t get a teddy bear for my little girl as I saw others did!). The room was clean, spacious and calming. Not a great view from our balcony to a construction site but very comfy bed, and all the mod cons. The hotel pool was a hit and hotel location is perfect. I recently stayed at Dorsett Gold Coast and overall had a really pleasant experience. The only surprising part was the $200 pre-authorisation they charge upon check-in and even after checking out, it’s been over 12 hours and I still haven’t received it back, which was a bit unexpected. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. The room was clean, cozy, and had a great atmosphere. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room super comfortable. I also loved the TV with Chromecast, which made it easy to stream my shows. Would definitely recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and overall vibe just be aware of the pre-authorisation hold!

Amazing Service at Dorsett Gold Coast! The staff at Dorsett Gold Coast are absolutely amazing! I accidentally left my Dior bag behind when I checked out and only realised it a week later. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes of getting it back, but I decided to call the hotel and try my luck. The customer service team kindly connected me to the Lost & Found department, and when I explained my situation, the staff member asked for my room details and description of the bag. To my absolute relief, he said, “Yes, we have your bag here!” I was so thankful and relieved. He even offered to send it back to me via courier. I just want to say a huge thank you to the team and especially to the housekeeper who found my bag. Your honesty and exceptional service went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be recommending Dorsett Gold Coast to all my friends and family. Thank you again for your outstanding hospitality!

Great hotel! Lovely linen, clean room, great shower and multiple (4 at least) charger ports plus a wireless phone charger supplied. Nice to have the modern technology! The $10 credit for the cafe near reception instead of fresh towels was appreciated as we were only here for 2 nights. Thanks Dorsett Gold Coast ☺️

Room - Very small space with 2 Double Beds. Panoramic view was looking over multiple building sites of the casino and adjoining hotel. Extremely expensive for such a small space with minimal facilities within the room. (When we arrived, room had all cabinets / draws open as if it were waiting to be cleaned and restocked and someones cot was partially dismantled and left in the middle of the room) Parking was a nightmare for a 4x4 Patrol with limited direction and availability. Service - Initial check in: The person that checked me in was not able to answer any questions regarding breakfast timing and availability, parking, surcharges, list goes on. When complaining about room over a construction site, the next attended was polite and moved us to a room on a higher floor but with same view and layout. Manager called over to discuss , listened and then walked away and didnt return. Pool Bar - Waited over an hr for 4 dishes to then be told when following up that they were missed. When we asked to cancel, no refund or options given. Male staff member just looked blankly at us and didnt care at all. Breakfast - Extremely expensive for what is included in the buffet! Pool Chairs have also been removed with no mention of this on the web page. My family booked this trip based on this pool and the pics on its web page. Dont believe the pictures advertising the hotel. It seems those at the Dorsett are happy to make mistakes, not provide an expected level of service or hospitality and then hide behind a surface level apology. The only reason I have given a star is due to its location for the Convention Centre with an adjoining walk way. I would not recommend nor would I book a Dorsett again.

The views towards the beach and city are good but the rooms are old and poorly cleaned. Need massive maintenance. Budget friendly for backpackers but not for one who wants clean accommodation. Furnitures were broken, dirty sheets, towel, overly used matress.

This is a great value 3 star property in a brilliant location. The rooms are only 3 star but the location is 5 stars. The pool is nice to swim in and the staff are friendly and helpful. We always stay here when we go to Surfers. Great value for money and allows you to spend more in other areas. Rooms are clean, the views are great. You will not find this value anywhere else in Surfers and if you can handle an old style room without AC you will not regret it

This hotel is completely inconsistent with the photos—it’s false advertising. The room is very old and clearly has not been renovated for years. The air conditioner didn’t work, and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. On the first night, I couldn’t sleep at all because the bed was right against the corridor wall, and there was absolutely no soundproofing. I checked out the next day even though I had booked for three nights. They only refunded me for one night, which I’m very unhappy about, but I don’t want to waste more time arguing. Just a warning to others—don’t be fooled by the photos on Booking.com!

Chateau isn't fancy, the rooms aren't necessarily modern but I give it 5 stars because it's such fantastic accommodation - it's been our go to when my daughters and I want to get away for a 'girls weekend' for the last 10 years or so. Staff are always friendly, it's in the most perfect position where we can walk everywhere and feel completely safe. No need to get the car out at all while you're there. The views over the ocean or city are just beautiful.

no conditioner or body lotion, have to pay for beach towel or extra towels. room was not very clean/old and very outdated. paid $175 for a night and deposit was $250 - they said they will refund after 3days and then bank may take a week to process it - very bad customer service

Arrived to find the pool was under maintenance until the end of August. Would not have stayed if known prior. One of the lifts were missing the ‘11th’ floor button. Every time u requested the lift it would send the one with no button. Only one lift went to the basement, every time u wanted to go to the car it would send the one that didn’t go down. Had to swap lifts at the lobby. Aircon would not work at first when you switched on, 25 mins of gas noises and it trying to force it self on. Last night we had 1.5 hours of the kitchen sink gurgling- it hadn’t been used by us the whole stay. Air vent in the bathroom was covered in dust and mould. There was long black hair in the shower and bed upon arrival. First shower taken we found out there was only enough hot water for one shower- ran out after a minute for the second person. Timed it the second day and it lasted a total of 6.5 minutes!!! Would not recommend to anyone

I only visited a friends room who was staying here, and we went to the pool. But this place looks SO worn down, there was mould all over the walls and ceiling in her room and the pool just on a brief look, the bathroom was filthy, the sauna and pool were so unkept and the lifts are barely big enough to get 3 people in at a time! Just from that visit I would not stay there, I couldn't wait to leave unfortunately.

I had a great experience at this hotel! With ocean view The staff were friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Asha, who was very kind and accommodating she let me use the swiming pool after my check out and made sure everything was comfortable during my stay. Her warm attitude really made a difference. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back again!

We had a lovely vacation here last week. The room we booked had a beautiful beach view, and the staff were friendly and approachable. The location was perfect. However, one minor issue was that the fridge wasn’t working properly and had been turned off when we arrived, causing some water to drip onto the floor. We didn’t report it since the landline phone wasn’t working at the time.

We had a great stay in a two-bedroom spa apartment on the 26th floor. The view was superb as was the location and facilities in our apartment. There did seem to be quite a lot of waiting around for lifts but otherwise, a great stay and would definitely return.

I WAS SEXUALLY HARASSED AT MANTRA HOTELS AND THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!! I stayed at the Mantra Hotel with some friends for a getaway, whilst the location of the hotel is fabulous, the staff was horrific. First of all, only one of seven elevators were working for the first two days. The multiple times we went out of the building, it took minimum half an hour to wait for an elevator. For such a busy hotel, it needs to be more efficient. Second, and most of all, I was sat with my friends at the pool where we got sexually harassed by a group of boys. When we rang the front desk they said they would send security out, twenty minutes later no one had come, we rang again and the girl on the phone, who seemed utterly clueless, said I’ll give you securities number and you can call them yourself. When we queried on the fact that’s actually HER JOB, she said nothing. We went to the front desk as we were angry and frustrated, not only at a group of boys showing porn and banging on the glass and security not coming, but the fact the girl on the phone seemed apathetic at best. When we got to the desk, she side eyed another man the whole time and gave us not even a slither of sympathy for guests who were SEXUALLY HARASSED ON THEIR PROPERTY. As someone who travels frequently, I will never stay at another Mantra Hotel, or seen something as appalling as this. I am absolutely disgusted at their poor management.

Our room was perfect for us with no complaint. The entire building was clean and the surrounding eateries and bars were well enjoyed. The view was heavenly. A resort we will continue to return to.

We spent six nights in a 2 bedroom oceanview spa apartment. Views were amazing, apartment clean and tidy. Great location right by the tram and bus stop, with a supermarket and pharmacy underneath. Would happily stay here again.

Beautiful Apartment. The view and location was perfect. The outside pool is beautiful. There was nothing I could fault. I also want to mention Hinewai. This lady went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect. Nothing was a problem. She knew what we wanted and she delivered. Thank you Hinewai for everything.

Excellent location right outside Surfers Paradise station. 5 minute walk to beach. Nice café however they do tend to get your order wrong. Nice staff. Two bedroom apartment with ocean views was bigger and spacious. Two bedrooms and bathrooms. Washing machine and dryer. Kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds. Clean.

Really enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we wanted - location was excellent. Close to the beach, just out of central Surfers but walking distance. Room could do with a bit of an upgrade - carpets were tired and beds were okay but could be better. Pool was great - they provided towels for pool and beach so no need to bring your own beach towels. Didn’t realise it was a timeshare hotel so salesman was a bit pushy at first.

The location is great walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The staff offer good customer service. We had free secure parking and internet which was great. We did not have any food so we can not give feedback on that. We stayed in a 1 bed unit great size with large balconies. The downside is that the bed was very uncomfortable, I could not wait to check out. They advertised the room as a queen bed, but they were 2 single beds put together. The mattresses were of low quality or aged. But that was not the end of our problems. We were planning to watch Netflix and kick back in the evening. But the 2 TVs were not smart and therefore could not sign onto my account. The remote control of the bedroom tv was broken and didn't work. We had to buy a cable and connect to our laptop. The sofa was not comfortable but it's expected as it was a sofa bed. I did not try the pool or the barbecue area so we cannot comment. I will not be going back there. I was disappointed and couldn't wait to get back home.

Very disappointed with the Wyndham, first of all the room was very run down, it’s supposed to be a 4 star resort and had mold on the celling along with scratches on power points and switch’s, most power point didn’t work or were falling off the wall. expected when booking a hotel for as much as we payed we would at least get our room cleaned and bed changed once or twice in our 6 day stay, we didn’t get our room cleaned at all. We also book this hotel due to its “breakfast included” option, unfortunately this is only $30 per person which is extremely cheap when there smallest breakfast meal price was around $26-$27. I think I had high hopes for this place from reviews and photos but I’ll attach two photos from our first night and hopefully it’ll discourage the next person from going there as I’ve been before and stayed in nicer for less…

The service could have been much better. The original room we were given had a strong odour and was quite run down. I approached reception to request another room of the same type with a futon. The reception staff said the futon would be provided, however it was never given to us. On top of that, my request for a similar room type was not accommodated. The after-hours reception staff were also quite rude. Overall, a disappointing experience and I won’t be staying here again.

Was on the corner family Room Suite. Beautiful views 100 percent The room was lovely, everything you needed Master with ensuite another room with 2 single beds, separate bathroom, Washing Machine and Dyer, Stove, Oven, Fridge, Freezer, All cutlery, pans, bowls etc provived. Had few issiue with TV they are very quick to help. Front desk people were lovely , Beach and Restaurants, very close by, Tram right outside other than that had a great stay. there..Only fall back furniture bit out dated needs replacing , few old stains here and there... Car park bit tight when your coming or going... be nice to have help with the luggage especially if your a big family..bit confusing when you first arrive, where to go to check in as tram tracks are in front of building you enter on side street and the arrival bay is a small oval shaped where you park your car than go up to reception. Hit and miss for Restaurant down stairs, go early as they might run out of specials. Had a pleasant stay, have been here a few times just enjoy walking every where and leaving the car in the car park.

We stayed at Hotel Wyndham for 3 nights and the entire experience was ruined because of their pushy and manipulative sales tactics. We were offered to attend a “presentation” and agreed because we thought it would be about the Gold Coast and the hotel itself, not some endless sales pitch for Club Wyndham package deals. From the very beginning I kept asking multiple times what exactly the talk was about, but all they said was “we will talk about the Club.” Nowhere did they mention it was just a timeshare sales trap. They promised it would last 50 minutes, but it dragged on for over 1 hour and 15 minutes and still wasn’t done. We even had a flight to catch and I kept pointing out the time, but they simply didn’t care. The staff were rude and unprofessional, especially towards my parents, and the lady speaking to me kept accusing me of being “disrespectful” simply because I raised concerns about the timing and what we had actually been promised. Instead of listening, they doubled down, being forceful and relentless in pressuring us to buy into their program that very minute under the name of offers. This was totally unacceptable and completely ruined the last day of our vacation. A hotel stay should be about hospitality, not harassment. Forcing guests into aggressive, misleading sales presentations is disgraceful and shows zero respect for their time. I would strongly warn anyone considering this hotel: be prepared for unwanted, pushy timeshare-style sales pressure that overshadows the actual stay.

The Langham Gold Coast has all the ingredients to be a true luxury destination — the setting, the facilities, the name. But right now, the service simply does not measure up. We have stayed at many five-star hotels in Australia, and sadly this experience did not compare. Hearing other guests at the pool comment, “It’s not like we’re at the Ibis”, really summed up the feeling that expectations weren’t being met. For families, the comfort and views may still make this an option, but unless service standards and attention to detail improve, it’s difficult to recommend The Langham Gold Coast as a five-star luxury holiday Cons: • Housekeeping: Cleaning was consistently late, often not arriving until after 5:00pm, which made it difficult to manage around young children. For those staying in the residences, note that these are treated more like serviced apartments — room service and cleaning are only provided every second day. • Service: Across the board, service felt slow and disorganized. At the pool, it took around 30 minutes to be served at the bar, and when food arrived it was cold with missing items. On arrival, despite traveling with three children and luggage, there was no bell service available to help us. • Pool area: The pool loses sun by midday, which is worth noting if you’re expecting long sunny afternoons. The pool itself also could have been better maintained; almost every morning we noticed bandaids and hair ties in or around the water, which was disappointing. • Room issues: One of our bedroom windows would not close properly, making the room very noisy at night Pros: • Beautiful views from the rooms and balconies. • Convenient location for both Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.. • The breakfast buffet was generous and enjoyable

We stayed at the Langham recently and it is such a beautiful hotel. The hotel is very clean and luxurious which I loved being someone who doesn’t often treat myself to beautiful stays. The pool area was amazing, I really loved the layout however I did note other guests would set up a spot for the whole day and would come and go throughout the day… at times their belongings would be on the seats for 3 hours at a time whilst they were out and about. It made it hard to get a spot at times. I think it would be great for staff to monitor this. The service was mostly good especially at the buffet breakfast, they were so so lovely. The receptionist area service was mostly okay. Our tag wouldn’t work on day 3 and we went to reception where three young ladies were standing each at a desk and we waited 5-10 seconds before we were acknowledged. It gave us the feeling none of them wanted to be the ones to serve us. The rooms were clean and very beautiful. The air con didn’t have a vent in the bedrooms so we had to blast the air con and leave the door open however other than this, we loved the decor and cleanliness. The facilities are all fantastic, I couldn’t fault them. Thank you for a beautiful stay and we will certainly be back.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special mention to Ilija, the waiter at the pool — he was absolutely amazing! So kind, attentive, and made every moment by the pool feel special. His service truly stood out and made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

I love staying with Langham so I was excited to try The Langham Gold Coast. From the moment I arrived, the service was genuinely welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The pool area is gorgeous, with plenty of seating and easy beach access, but the water was a bit cold for my liking. The spa massage was very good and the breakfast buffet had an impressive variety. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond, making the whole experience memorable.

We recently stayed at the Langham Gold Coast and found it to be an outstanding experience and I would highly recommend. The service was faultless, very attentive. The hotel itself is stunning, very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the Junior Ocean Suite and it was beautiful, with a stunning unrestricted view of the ocean. The room is a very good size, bathroom beautiful with large bath. The room service menu is extensive and room service very prompt. The buffet breakfast would have to be the best I have had, very rarely can you find an outstanding buffet with fresh food and lots of options. The indoor pool and gym is lovely as well as the outdoor pool and access to the beach. We also had a couples massage at Chaun spa which is beautiful and massage was perfect. It’s in an amazing location with nothing to fault. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Langham. We spent most of our time at the pool. Tino and Lance at the pool were so helpful and had great customer service skills. Tino gave us fresh towels and lance brought out our food so efficiently. Definitely recommend.

Finally Australia is stepping up with nice hotels and great service. The Langham is very classy, well managed hotel. Staff is great and responsive, restaurants are high standard with yummy food. Location is quiet, away from buzzing Surfers Paradise, at the same time walking distance to all the cool places.

She's showing her age, but you can't fault the price and location. It's clear she'll be demolished in the next couple of years, but the operators have made efforts to keep it looking fresh and clean, inside. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Only challenge we (any others had) is that the entrance doors lock at night, requiring guests to remember a code, rather than using swipe cards. Not an east task after enjoying a few drinks in town.

Accommodation is basic & comfortable. Rooms look like they have been refurbished. Beds were comfortable & rooms were clean. The curtains could be replaced. The Resort itself overall is tired looking. This was our 2nd visit here as it is close to Twin Towns & price is very good. Parking is an issue as carpark is very small. We have had to park in the street both times. If looking for reasonably priced accommodation that is comfortable I would recommend Greenmount.

Perfect spot right next to the beach and about 10-15mins from the airport. Bit of an older hotel however everything was clean. Pool was great in the afternoon with lots of shade, umbrellas and seating. There's a slide too. Bonus for allowing me to leave my luggage and getting my room ready earlier than usual 3pm check in. Would definitely stay again

Do not stay here. They are not renovating. The place is being demolished later this year. In mean time NO maintenance is being done. 1 of the 2 very slow and noisy elevators was out of commission. No parking. Front 'garden' and paths looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen

I left a set of clothes there in one of the drawers after our one night stay in March 2025. I called several times and offered to drive back there to get my clothes, but they claimed they were never found in the room. I am 100% certain I forgot them there, because they didn't make it to my next destination. BEWARE - someone there - housekeeping or front desk people - will steal your stuff if given the opportunity.

Our top floor room was clean and comfortable. Sensational views of surf break and beaches. The building is quite old so may not suit those looking for something new and trendy. It was perfect for us. Parking was limited- we parked at the nearby surf club. We arrived late so there was no reception person on site but handled via intercom.

Incredible location and a beautiful old hotel. Reasonable rates. Parking is a major issue and I had to keep moving my car every few hours. They do have a car park but there is no parking attached to the room and it is not secure so it is being used by the general public with no enforcement. Everything in my room is coated with concrete dust from the decaying ceiling making me sneeze continuously. Extremely noisy location next to surf club... was woken up just before midnight by a huge brawl there being sorted by police. Right next to great surfing spots but very hard to get boards in and out of the hotel or the rooms. They have a storage room but it only opens at 7.30am. Bathroom ceilings are so low that my head almost hits the ceiling. Beautiful old timber lifts you don't see very often. Amazing building design. Wonderful place to stay while you can it is due to be demolished soon hence the falling apart facilities.

Perfect spot! Great view, right in the middle of the shops and restaurants, and opposite a fabulous beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Bed was great. If I had any criticism it would be that the bathroom was a bit dated. Also, the kitchen was under equipped. There were no containers to use in the microwave but if I’d asked reception they would have provided us with one. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time at Mantra Coolangatta Beach. Very clean and comfy room. Jess and the rest of the team were very friendly and helpful. We also got late checkout included in our stay, which was such a lovely treat. Thanks very much - we will definitely be back.

The carpets were soaking wet having been cleaned that day - not sure why we were even put in the room. The replacement room was dirty with broken glass and bobby pins on the floor and something undescribably gross under the coffee table.

The room was entirely suitable. The check-in process (after hours) was very smooth, parking facilities were great, staff were great and the location of the hotel was perfect. Absolutely nothing negative.

The two bedroom apartment was very spacious and would be great for a family. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great spot right on the beach.

Hotel rooms really comfy, clean and full equipped. Perfect location, 7 min away from the airport and 2 min walking to the beach. Definitely coming back!!

The rooms at very modern, and pretty rundown. Struggled with some of the locks as well as struggled closing the ranch slider. However, the location is perfect. The beach is across the road with amazing sites and convenient access to everything you possibly need. Unfortunately, we were on the third floor and there are no lifts so unloading families worth of luggage and groceries involved, multiple trips up and three flights of stairs. Convenient car parking underneath the place. Swimming pool was fabulous and heated, although not very hot so late night swims were a little cold. Definitely stay here again.

We've stayed here a few times. The rooms are probably overdue for an update. On the flipside, it is very good value for money. Current manager is very friendly.

Average Stay - Suitable for One Night Our stay at Blue Waters Apartments was fine for one night, but there were several areas that could use improvement. The facilities felt a bit outdated, with the bathroom and kitchenette showing their age. It seems like renovations were done quite a while ago. One downside was the limited access to the swimming pool, which closed at 9:30 PM, making it inconvenient if you want to relax after a long day. Additionally, our room faced a busy road, and the noise from the traffic was noticeable. On the positive side, the free underground parking was a great perk, especially for convenience and security. Overall, it’s an okay choice for a short stay, but if you’re planning a longer visit, you might want to look for something with more updated facilities.

The pool & location are great . Otherwise very average ,toilet leaked from the base creating a funky odor , key entry system was frustrating, beds were uncomfortable showers were pathetic. Only had to look at the windows in the stair wells to see what level of cleanliness was acceptable

Just a great location to access all the theme parks as well as relax by the pool or beach. Staff were friendly. Rooms were great kitchen, washer, dryer, 2 bathrooms

I booked our accommodation through Wot If, considering they gave a 4star rating. Very disappointed with the room, as soon as you walked in the apartment it stunk as though it hasn't been cleaned. The 2 bedroom apartment is very out dated, the furniture looks as though it has been purchased from the OP shop. Considering what they charge for you to stay, they could invest some of that money into updating their rooms and furniture. Also maybe consider staff going into the rooms and cleaning them properly after each stay like most do elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to stay there.

Don't let the low rating reviews deceive you. This may be one of the cheapest places to stay in Labrador but it certainly doesn't feel like it. Checking in and out is always quick, the staff are pleasant and happy to help, and the rooms are totally on par and are advertised honestly. I just stayed here for 3 days and I only left the place twice. It is great for a quick, easy, and quiet Gold Coast escape.

This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at The Atrium. I stayed here for location close to family. The rooms are very old and tired. The bedrooms do not have air conditioning. Our main bedroom did have a ceiling fan. Convenient to have a small kitchen and lounge/ dining as a restaurant is not close by. Great view from our balcony which overlooked the water. The atrium has 2 pools but I would not consider it a Resort. The Cafe located downstairs is great. Delicious food. Great coffee and pleasant staff. Open for breakfast and lunch.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely disgusting experience – avoid at all costs! I stayed at The Atrium Resort with a friend and it was hands down the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I was in Unit 2C, and the beds were infested with bedbugs. I didn’t want to cause a scene at the time as I was trying to enjoy my trip, but now I deeply regret not speaking up sooner. Within hours of staying there, I started getting bitten, and for over two weeks now my body has been itching non-stop and covered in bites. It’s not just uncomfortable—it’s genuinely distressing. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. The room should never have been rented out in this condition. It’s a serious health and hygiene violation, and this resort should not be allowed to operate until it resolves its infestation problem. I now believe I deserve full compensation for what I went through. I strongly urge anyone considering this place to read the reviews and stay away. Your health and well-being are not worth the risk.

We stayed here for four nights — overall, it was okay for what you pay. The location is great, close to Surfers by car and with a beautiful beach just across the road. The café on-site was lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Now for the downsides — the place is quite old and run down. The main bathroom lights didn’t work, and the unit was smaller than the pictures made it seem. The TV remote needed new batteries, and we were only given enough towels for one night, so we had to wash and dry our own. No pool towels were provided, and the pool itself was much smaller than it looked online. The games room was okay but located in the basement and hidden. There was no oven, just a cooktop, and only very basic utensils, which made it hard to cook proper meals. An air fryer would’ve been a nice touch. No rubbish bags or sponges were provided, and only one sachet each of dishwasher liquid and soap — not ideal for a four-day stay. There were also no basic condiments like salt or pepper, and we only got three single-serve sugar and coffee portions. Overall, you get what you pay for — it’s definitely not 5-star accommodation, but it wasn’t horrible either.

We had a ocean view apartment, location is very good. Rooms require maintenance including dishwasher, washing machine etc. The Asian lady at the reception has no concept of customer service. We were not aware that they only service the apartment once vacated so you need to wash all towels, fill tea/sugar etc as this is only supplied once. Overall good experience.....

Don't stay here.. This place has only self-service apartments no service provided to you, means you have to clean up by yourself and do everything else your self like you stay in backpackers. Everything is old and tired, dusty not good for people with Allergies, Asthma etc. some Furnitures broken. Ceiling fans are too close so be careful if you have kids. Only turn on when everyone is sleeping. The fiji Indian lady at the reception / is very rude, not professional doesn't know how to talk to people. You don't want to approach her. We saw cockroaches the place need a pest control. There is only one Aircon which is in living room not in bedrooms. They only provide dishwashing liquid and laundry powder once then you have to buy your own. So the price you pay may look cheaper but its actually expensive considering the situation and no services provided at this resort.

The resort is aging, the twin apartment only had one AC at one end of the apartment, which had no chance to reach the bedrooms. Internet is provided, and Televisions are available, but really, sit on the Balcony, and enjoy the view and sea breeze.

I would strongly advise against staying at Atrium Waterfront Resort. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. The lady at reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The rooms themselves are dirty, run down, and in desperate need of maintenance. What’s worse is the blatant false advertising – half of the amenities they promote simply don’t work. The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working, the in-room spa was broken, and even the communal pool spa was out of order. The rooftop BBQ area, which is advertised as a highlight, wasn’t even accessible (undergoing maintenance however we were never advised upon booking). To make matters worse, the toiletries provided were laughable – single 30ml bottle of shampoo, body wash and conditioner, barely enough for one person for one night. When we asked for more, we were told we’d have to pay extra. For the price of the stay, this is unacceptable. Overall, this place is poorly managed, misleading in its advertising, and offers terrible value for money. Don’t waste your time or money here – there are far better options elsewhere.

I recently stayed in Seacrest Apartment. The room was very clean and well maintained. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking ocean view from our room 9B The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, We will definitely be coming back!

We spend to night there long weekend .What a disaster room was not very clean. My bed had broken slats with a dodgy it up with cardboard and that’s why I had to sleep at the foot end on the other side of the bed. Could not contact contact anyone as it was a long weekend..l would not stay there again as it’s very poor quality old furniture rooms with that clean one of the kitchen if you sat on it, it would fall. The dirt was all on the chairs. Not a very good visit. I would not recommend this place to anyone.This is an update 6/2/2024 We received a phone call from Seacrest today and they said they were sorry .But if we take our review down and put a good one on they would give us $50.00.Of course we said no a the review is for other people to read and decide if they want to stay there

I was here in March 2025 upon arrival my room was not done it was messy from the last guest that stayed after a cleaner came in the room was still dirty blankets filled with sand, broke cracked mirror, dangerous power sockets, an no foxtel to watch the sports live and mouldy curtains. Reception was no help at all and was suppose to give us a partial refund for the cleaning but it's been 5 weeks an still have not received anything from them not a phone call not a email nothing. Will never be back again, it's gone down hill since David an Anna left.

Just wanted to warn people, this place is a total dive. To advertise it as 4 star is misleading. It's 2 star at best and realistically they shouldn't be charging people more then $150 per night for what it is, even if had no issues. The whole place is totally run down. We moved hotels after one night and managed to get a refund, which wasn't a smooth process. A broken aircon flooded our room and the ceiling fans and lights in the bedrooms didn't work. We had to use folded towels as pillows because their wasn't enough pillows provided. Which, wasn't the best solution because not enough towels where provided either, and we also needed to use the towels/make-shift pillows on the flooded floors in the middle of the night from the broken aircon. The shower had used bars of soap in it from the previous guests. They didn't tell guests that one whole floor was under construction with Jack hammering all day. The walls were so thin, when I was in the bathroom, I sneezed, the guest next door said 'bless you', which was kind but weird. When we were moving hotels, another guest said part of their roof had caved in and had an emergency repair on it the night before. Its difficult to get hold of staff, because the desk is only manned for a small period of time and the number provided for assistance is mostly ignored. One night was laughable because of how ridiculous it all was but definitely couldn't stay there and a refund was needed. If you are down for a night of disaster and inconvenience - recommend. But if wanting somewhere nice, safe, comfortable and clean to stay - best find somewhere else :)

Stay in Seacrest Apartment for 2 nights! Lovely place. Beautiful ocean view in surfers paradise just 2 mins from tram station. Clean room and very friendly staff! Easy to contact! I will come back for sure!!!!!!!

We have stayed at seacrest many times when David and Ana were the managers. Our last stay in March 2025 we had 2 rooms one room was disgusting had not been cleaned and only one lift working for the entire complex. The manager promised us a partial refund but now 4 weeks later still have had no refund.After several emails and phone calls the manager has not responded to me. Next step complaint to Office of fair trading.

No idea why people giving this apartment 4 star. When i stayed in the apartment was smelly and there’s no blanket. There’s only 1 small sized blanket whicb was meant to be shared by 2 people apparently. Cockroaches were roaming around and enjoying their stay in our apartment. Came a bit late at night - couldn’t find a single parking spot. Called the staff 7 times no one answered and didn’t received any call back. Suffocation in indoor swiming pool area and a weird smell. However i would love to pay some extra dollars to stay a better place then this.

We stayed in the sub-penthouse at Nirvana by the Sea and it was absolutely incredible! The room was stunning, and having our own private pool was such a luxury. The amenities were top-notch – we especially loved the private theatre, which was a unique and fun experience for our family of four. The location was super convenient, close to everything we needed. We did have a small water issue during our stay, but management responded quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated. Their excellent service made all the difference. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend Nirvana by the Sea to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-end getaway!

Love, love, love Nirvana by the Sea! The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Stunning views, lots of space, always clean with great amenities! Handy local shopping centre just next door, with a terrific bakery! Lots of great seafood restaurants close by. What’s not to love. Looking forward to returning soon!

We stayed on a two bedroom apartment on the 7th floor at Nirvana by the sea and It was absolutely perfect! The apartment had a stunning ocean views from both bedrooms and living area, and the location was fantastic! The complex offers a great variety of entertainment facilities, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. highly recommended!

My family & I agree that Nirvana is the best place we have stayed at on the Gold Coast. Walking distance to great cafes, restaurants, across the road from beach. Spectacular view (we stayed on 13th floor Ocean view room). Apartment was lovely & clean, great kitchen, nice furniture. The facilities, pool, spa, sauna & steam room were excellent, great for a relaxing day when it’s a bit too cool to stay on the beach. The staff were very friendly & professional also. We will definitely be back

We recently stay in August/September 2025. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The unit was beautiful and clean with an excellent view of Kirra Beach. The buildings permanent residents were all welcoming and lovely people. Location is nice and quiet with lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The microwave in the unit wasn’t working and within 5 minutes of asking the very nice handyman came and replaced it. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We have stayed At Nirvana By the Sea multiple times and love it. The management and staff are helpful & polite and went above what they needed to, to make our stay more enjoyable. The location and amenities are amazing.

Not quite the nirvana we imagined… We booked a 2-bed “ocean view” apartment for a local staycation — $800 for two nights, and sadly, it didn’t quite live up to the name. More like Nirva-NO… We were given apartment 901, in the extreme south corner of the building. Yes, you can see a sliver of ocean if you step out on the balcony, but mostly, you’re looking at buildings, rooftops, carparks and trees. There are 4 apartments per floor, and ours clearly had the worst view — very disappointing considering we paid extra for “ocean views“… The apartment was filthy. I found long grey hairs everywhere (none of us have grey hair), and I ended up vacuuming it myself. The balcony was covered in spiderwebs and dirt, we had four cockroaches in three days, and there was an awful smell coming from the kitchen sink. To top it off, a ceiling light would randomly flash every 10 minutes. Not exactly relaxing. Reception was already closed when I arrived at 5:30pm, so no help was available. The staff have been kind and patient when we shared our feedback on the next day — and I genuinely appreciated that — but unfortunately, nothing was done. The pool and spa area are nice, but the steam room and sauna are not on the same level, which is oddly inconvenient. And while the strong smell of bacon by the pool isn’t the hotel’s fault (it comes from the café downstairs), it made it hard for us — a vegan family — to enjoy the space. Great location, but that’s where it ends. At this price, there’s much better value elsewhere — with actual ocean views, cleanliness and comfort.

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Penthouses Apartments. It was a lot of money and was not worth the money. The Penthouses Apartments was rated as a 4 star and that's not true, it was more like a 1 star. We paid $700.00 for the first night and $725.00 for the next night. The Penthouses Apartments was the most expensive accommodations we have ever paid while staying at different places in Australia or anywhere else in all of our years of traveling. The view was nice but the maintenance of the room was terrible and so were the amenities. The gray rug was stained and looked like it was 30 years old. The couch was dirty and old. The dishes were all mismatched. The front of the dishwasher had lots of water stains on it and broken inside the unit. The hangers were all scattered and not tidy. There were not enough towels, dish soap or laundry soap. The blanket had big snags in it. The pillows were in poor condition. The windows outside were dirty. The bath tub didn't shut off properly. The oven had tin foil all inside it so tacky! The outside of the property was old and rundown. The tennis court had an indoor-outdoor rug that was all worn out. The pool sticks had no life left in them. The ping pong mallets were worn out. The office where we checked in was dirty. We have been reading the reviews on the different sites after returning home and it's sad that there are others that have not been happy with accommodations at the Penthouses. It said 4**** when we booked our stay but it is really is a 1 like others have said in the reviews. We wrote a letter to management but got no reply so we are putting our review on this page warning people about the misleading advertising. We are just ordinary people and we feel ripped off. The stay at PentHouses was very subpar. We won't be back and won't be recommending anyone stay at the The Penthouses.

The location is excellent, upon booking online it was advertised as 4 star accommodation, each apartment may be at a different standard; the apartment we stayed in was overdue for an upgrade and not 4 star. The apartment size is very large. The room did not have any controls for the air con units, when we called reception they advised we needed to come down and collect the remotes. Remotes for the TV's needed batteries and we also had to collect from reception. Extra bedding in the cupboards had stains on them and the remote did not work for the TV in the lounge room. Pool area was great and heated. We asked for tennis rackets and balls for the tennis court and advised we needed to pay, usually the amenities are included in the room charge.

Unfortunately we didn't know there were going to be renovations until we made the booking and paid a deposit. With the renovations the balcony window in the main bedroom was covered so you couldn't see outside unless you walked out and looked over. The balcony in the kitchen wasn't covered as we asked if there was access and they let us use the balcony. We noticed there was some crumbling concrete in the corner as well. The pool heater pump wasn't working so the water was cold but the spa water was fine. We weren't aware of this either until we checked in. For the money we paid to stay here I was expecting it to be better and cleaner. During the week there was no access to the beach from the gate that has direct access. You had to walk around from the main road. The ensuite has no doors so if you are using the toilet you have to shut the curtains and close the door for privacy as the scaffolding people go up and down regularly. The spa wasn't working either and by the amount of dust that came out of the filter you could tell it hasn't been used for a while. There was only one socket for charging phones in the 2nd bedroom and you couldn't have a lamp connected for some dim lighting at the same time. So maybe a power board would be good.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and disgust at the condition of the holiday rental apartment we stayed in from [Friday 8/8/2025] to [Monday 11/8/2025] Room [apartment41 ]. Despite paying a substantial amount for the stay, the apartment was not only dirty but also had a mattress that was in an unacceptable state. The mattress was stained and had an unpleasant odor, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep.( we had to sleep on the couch cushions in the lounge area) The apartment's overall condition was far below our expectations. There were dirty dishes and utensils , , and the bathrooms were not cleaned properly. Given the state of the apartment, we are requesting a full refund of $[1000] for our stay or another 4 days in a better quality spa apartment at no cost to us, We believe this is justified considering the significant distress and discomfort we experienced due to the poor condition of the apartment. And not being allowed to use the amenities (pool table in the games room) We would appreciate it if you could process the refund as soon as possible. If we do not receive a response or the refund within [timeframe, 7 days ], we will be forced to take further action and leave a review on [platform/app] detailing our experience. I stayed there the view is amazing and would have been awesome- but they had not informed me of workers working on the whole face of the building which had no privacy as they moved up and down _ and Jack hammering off concrete at 8am in the morning - They charged me full rate- I even wrote a written complaint note - I wont stay there again after that full priced noisy experience .

It was a very bad experience. The hotel cannot be a four-star hotel. It is a one-star hotel. Poor rooms and unclean bedding. My family and I had to leave the hotel a few hours after check-in. We lost the two-day money we booked. It is really a bad experience and will not be repeated in this miserable hotel.

The unit was fully renovated however the furniture was awful. One of the coaches was broken and the legs were pushed out. The beds were so uncomfortable and even though it said Queen but both rooms had doubles. They were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The unit wasn’t properly cleaned. We had to wipe down the surfaces and even vacuum on the first day. The pool and the area around it was so bad. The only good thing was the view. That’s it. The curtains were electric but not working properly. The aircon in the lounge area was leaking. So disappointing.

The rooms were ideal for my sister and her husband Jim and me and mum.We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms.We could have meals in comfort, the gym and spa and sauna suited Jim.We walked on the promenade by the beach, went to great local cafes and restaurants within walking distance.We also walked along the beach.We went to Currumbin and on an eco cruise at Tweed Heads.The bus service was punctual and cheap and the airport was relatively close.Yet it was still quiet at the resort.We did our own laundry and could cook meals if we wanted to.Everyone was so friendly we felt we were on holiday with our extended family.We wished we could have stayed longer but we will return. Excellent location to enjoy all the best that a Tugun Beach stay has to offer. Donna and her team go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. The grounds are luscious, well kept and offer a relaxing holiday vibe. The apartments are spacious, clean and provide everything you need for your stay. You can walk to the shops and restaurants of Tugun and the coastal pathway, which is right at your front door , provides an easy walk to the local surfclubs. Golden Riviera is a beach front property with access to the beach via a gate for guests. If you you prefer, you can also enjoy a swim or sunbake in the inviting pool space. Parking is provided in an underground car park in designated parks with access to stairwells that lead to your apartments. Great value money, excellent customer service and a all round great place to stay

The location is right on the beach. Also, nice shops and Tigun Tavern right there. 8 minutes from the airport, the planes landing just alongside the beach. You can hear them, but soon stop noticing. We found the location of the property is very convenient, for our travels up/down the coast. Upon arrival we had not so welcoming experience at the reception, Lady just turned into stone, when she could not find our booking by name. It turned out My name and last name was switched. Property provided parking, but it's underground, and our van didn't meet 2 m height requirements, we end up parking outside the resort. The apartment was double bedroom, with dishwasher, washer and a stove and has kettle and coffee pod machine. Has non smoking sign, but the apparent has a very strong smell of cigarettes. Overall the place was clean, with few signs of the previous occupants. Toilet paper is provided in both toilets, but if you are aiming for a long stay, you'll need to purchase extra. If you intend to cook, you got to buy all oils and aluminium foil yourself. The property sends you a list of items that are available, so all extra at your own expense. Overall our stay was ok, just few things, the AC remote batteries, had to changed, had no AC for one night. Also one morning the main light was off in the gym. On the last day, the fire alarm went off for about 20 minutes, but turned out was false alarm. We received the communication from the property to remove our rubbish upon check out. Turn AC and all lights off. I have delivered some of above feedback to the receptionists. I wish people were more into listening, and taking notes of the honest feedback, as it helps to improve the experience for others. Don't think we will stay here again. If you are tired of welcoming people into your place, then maybe think of not working with people and finding other places where you don't need to interact so much.

I consider the expectation about tidying before leaving and possible penalty was excessive. Also handle on one toilet was faulty and should have been noticed by a cleaner. I had to leave door slightly open when using.

One of the few apartments located on Tugun Beach, offering a great location with eateries nearby, a bus to Coolangatta or Broadbeach, and all essentials within walking distance, from breakfast to dinner.

Great position. Fantastic staff. Room was so clean and had everything you needed. Full kitchen. Every accessorie needed. Gardens were so well maintained. One of my favourite places l have stayed in on the Gold Coast.

Great value resort. They're always heavily booked for this reason. The garden and pool area are well designed with a relaxed feel. 2/3 of the rooms are up stairs, the apartments being on 3 levels. There are NO lifts, and many of the ground floor apartments are on long term lease, so you may need to bear the stairs in mind when booking. However, the resort is very well run, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent for the beautiful Tugun Beach, as well as all the local shops and restaurants. Recommended...

We love Tessa’s! The property is absolutely immaculate with beautiful attention to detail in our room. The property is literally right on the beach but on the street side there is a beautiful sunny little bar run by Tom and other very friendly staff and the cocktails are delicious. There is also a happy hour between 4 and 6 and the spirits are top shelf, think Patron and Grey Goose. Our room was beautifully furnished down to the wallpaper and architraves, comfy bed, all inclusive bathroom supplies and towels. Gorgeous tea cups and mini bar situation makes this a perfect stay. After an amazing day of surfing, this is the perfect spot to come back and relax. Tessa’s is all about the detail even down to the immaculately cleaned glass around the pool and rooms. This is our new place to stay on the Gold Coast.

A Beachfront Escape with Palm Springs Vibes We are here now and honestly, this place is a dream. The whole property has a chic, retro-Palm Springs aesthetic with a relaxed coastal twist. Think pastel tones, stylish touches, and a laid-back vibe that makes it impossible not to unwind. Our room has a cool jungle feel with a cute little balcony that’s perfect for morning coffees or catching the sea breeze in the evening. The beachfront location couldn’t be better, we’re just steps from the sand, and the sunsets are unreal. We’ve been loving the magnesium pool, happy hour drinks, and cruising around on the free bikes. It’s got that perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The staff have been fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Anna made check-in a breeze and set the tone for a great stay. It honestly feels like we’ve found a little slice of Palm Springs paradise by the beach. Already wishing we had booked a few more nights!

A perfect beach front getaway! We recently stayed at this gorgeous beachfront accommodation, and I can’t recommend it enough! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. The beachfront location was ideal for lazy afternoons spent lounging in the sun or taking long walks along the shore. Free bike use, happy hour, beach front and a magnesium pool what else could you want? The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. In the evening, we loved watching the sunset over the water—truly magical! The proximity to local attractions made it easy to explore the area, yet I felt like I was in my own little paradise. Overall, this beachfront accommodation exceeded all my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or just some time to relax, this is the perfect spot. I can’t wait to return!

I recently stayed at Tessa’s on the Beach and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and my room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, with stunning views and the soothing sound of waves. Would definitely stay again.

Just spent a few days unwinding at Tessa's after a long trip and it was great. I was in Room 2 on the beach side with a great view and easy access to the water and the bike/walk path. The location is hard to beat, across from the airport and a 15-20min walk in either direction to restaurants/bars/stores, even shorter with the free bikes on-site. Check-In was easy, and the lobby bar happy hour was good with a nice selection of beers/wines/spirits and hosted by the great staff. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when I'm in the area.

Saw whales from the hammock out the back! Went on a bike ride using the bikes and was so beautiful. Aesthetically pleasing, bathroom was gorgeous and big bed. Parking available too made it so easy!

Lovely clean apartment. Close to shops, restaurants and cafes right on the Esplanade. Accessibility wise, there are no elevators to upper levels, only stairs. Carpark is tight if you have a larger 4x4. Doubt a ram would fit. There is a coffee pod machine in kitchen, but no pods. No hair dryer in the bathroom so bring your own. But the bed was super comfy and there's plenty of space. Laundry in the apartment is handy. It was so nice to sit and have a morning coffee on the lovely balcony over looking the pool, spa and BBQ area which was clean tidy and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Great spot.

Location is fantastic, well looked after grounds and bbq area, lovely staff - just disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the bedrooms. We understand they are older style apartments, but to have what seemed to be the 'original' queen mattress and bedroom furniture (20+years old) was so disappointing. Mattresses are so affordable these days and make the biggest impact on the quality of the stay.....the bedrooms had not been vacuumed properly and there were remnants of past guests left behind. We were not expecting a renovated apartment but general wear & tear is below average.

We love Le Beach. It is continually a great family location for our yearly holiday. We have stayed in many of the units all a bit different but all Good. The Managers are on the ball. Every attention to detail is given. Five stars Tammy and Steve. Keep up good work Sandy and Craig

Fantastic location on the esplanade, short stroll to all the cafes and restaurants! The apartment I had was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. Great rate as places along the esplanade can be very expensive for what you actually get. Would recommend!

We recently stayed at LeBeach for 3 weeks. We had a wonderful and restful time. The people are nice and very helpful. The apartment was clean with plenty of room. Great location for walks, the beach with plenty food options. We hope to revisiting next year!

I loved my stay at Le Beach Apartments. Very close to the beach, nice pool and very nice bubble bath/hot tub next to the pool. The place was clean, easy to get to, parking was easy, everything made sense etc.

This was our third stay at Le Beach appartments great location, with ocean views and facilities heated spa and pool, right on the Esplanade opposite the beach. Walking distance to surf clubs and groceries. Some Appartments have been fully renovated while others are older but clean and tidy with full laundry and cooking facilities. Management and staff are very pleasant We look forward to staying there again

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking — it faced directly out to the ocean, offering stunning coastal scenery. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Parking was very convenient, and it was just a short walk downstairs to the beautiful beach. The location was excellent, with plenty of great restaurants just a short drive away. The customer service was efficient and incredibly friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had such a great stay at Boulevard North. It's an older complex but utterly charming in a retro way for anyone who grew up with an annual GC vacation. As a result, the apartments are spacious and soundproof, and the one we stayed in had been up styled with contemporary fixtures and a modern kitchen. Amazing panoramic views from apartment and balcony, and you can't do better than being straight across the road from the beach. Service was without fault; it was easy to check in/out after hours and we were greeted with a smile and friendly service at reception the next day. The location is ideal and handy to everything. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby within easy walking distance as well as an old-school fish and chips shop. All in all, we had a wonderful time of it and will happily book again. If you're looking for somewhere lovely to stay in a relaxed part of the GC, I highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed in three different apartments during this trip to Australia, and this one was our favorite! My kids loved every corner, and it truly felt just like home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Chris assisted us with check-in even though we arrived outside of business hours, which we greatly appreciated. When we told them that the WiFi wasn’t working, the staff fixed it right away. We had a wonderful time here!

Fantastic location, across the road from the beach and an easy walk to Broadbeach, Exhibition Centre, public transport etc. Apartments clean and spacious, everything we needed for an extended stay. Pool area great for kids (and adults). Reception team very welcoming and helpful, kept the kids occupied with the treasure hunts. Highly recommend and look forward to returning in a couple of years.

Just enjoyed a 1 week stay at this wonderful property. The rooms were spacious with wonderful views. The staff were extremely friendly. The location was excellent, quiet in the evening and close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. We will be back again soon!! Highly recommended.

I love Boulevard North Apartments, this was my 2nd stay, a different apartment on the 15th floor and it was wonderful. Great pool area and underground secure parking, beachfront building next to Broadbeach Surf Club you can walk everywhere very close to Broadbeach main centre. Best spot to stay on the GC.

We came to Dorchester as a bunch of families after the website and advertising focussed on family friendly holidays and atmosphere. Multiple families, multiple apartments, lots of people and lots of money. The treatment by the manager, the way he spoke aggressively and violently towards our children, and other mothers: was simply unacceptable. Upon being confronted, he remained aggressive and deflective, never acknowledging that he acted or spoke wrongly, instead acting accusatory and belligerent. The specific event in question was kids playing in the pool. At midday. On a weekday. Family friendly?!?! Yes, we have read and were aware of the policies, and yes, we abided by these all during our long stay here - however if kids playing in the pool is deemed excessive noise, then your advertising, website and media must change to reflect that this "apartment" is suited to retirees wanting a quiet life; and NOT as "family friendly" apartment. Additionally, the manager in question should be better trained in customer service and respect, especially in the service industry. Happy enough to take our money, but not to give us the basic level of human respect. If you're considering staying here - please heed my warning, save yourself and book elsewhere. EDIT: In response to the owners comments, note how there is no apology or acknowledgement of the rude and disrespectful behaviour by the staff. Also note the members at the BBQ area were all paying guests and members in the 5 or so rooms that we booked, spending well over $15k for accommodation to get this unfriendly treatment is astounding.

We stayed at Dorchester on the Beach about a month ago and truly loved every moment of it. The apartment is located right next to the beach, and waking up to the blazing sunrise and winding down with the golden sunset every day was nothing short of magical. Our unit was well-equipped with everything we needed and more. From the unbeatable beachfront location to the thoughtful amenities, everything was simply excellent. A shoutout to Karen, who was unbelievably friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we checked in right up until we left. We love you, Karen! And we love you too, Dorchester! Our stay here was without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our trip to the Gold Coast. Can’t wait to be back again!

Location location. Dorchester is luxurious. We have stayed here 3 times and all apartments were oversized, modernised and stylish. Offering sweeping ocean views from Coolangatta to Main Beach and beyond it takes your breath away. Step straight from the pool area onto the sand. Walk into Surfers along a new promenade bordering the beach. Quiet at night but not far from the action. Parking included, a big plus. Very professionally run by personable managers. Highly recommended for a family holiday.

Rooms are beautifully renovated, right on the beach front with your own access. Easy to catch the tram to either the heart of Surfers or Broadbeach. Staff were more than accommodating to us as well. We loved it so much we booked our next trip while there.

Bad place to stay , location is okay but there are so many other hotels you can stay rather than this filthy place , no one bothered to clean the rooms , grease in dishes , bathroom taps not working , no exhaust in bathroom , no fly screen on doors so you can enjoy the breeze. On top of that unhealthy apartment please spend little bit extra and have a nice vacation this hotel is not worth, dust everywhere.

We stumbled upon this place last minute due to a cancelled flight. The reception, Maggie has been the kindest and most helpful person I’ve ever met. Despite the late check in , she went through the trouble to help us check in, even recommended us some nice places to eat. The room we got is a 2 bedroom unit. It was super clean, with all the necessities like washing machine and kitchen. Just a tad slightly aged, in that well lived in way rooms tend to get over the years. Sadly I forgot to take pictures of those, but you can check other reviews for that. Finally, the view from the balcony! That was just the loveliest sight! It’s a 1 minute walk across the road to the beach, which I’ve attached a picture of below. Barely a soul in sight, compared to the far busier beach about 10 minutes away in the main hub of Coolangatta. Great stay all round, and a little hidden gem of Gold Coast if one gets tired of the more tourist oriented areas of Surfers Paradise. 5 Stars!

We booked for three days at Solnamara Beachfront Apartments and were incredibly impressed by the outstanding service. Nothing was too much trouble—the staff went above and beyond, which is rare to see these days! Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday on the Gold Coast.

The one we stayed in is definitely not 4 star. The living and kitchen are nice minus the stained lounges, but the laundry is still rocking is 70s tiles and the bathroom updates probably done in the 90s are looking tired. Unfortunately we have sugar ants come into the kitchen too. The one aircon. doesn't cool the second bedroom well. The good things: the staff are lovely and the apartment was clean.

Great start to our girls week away staying at Solnamara Beachfront Apartment. Christine was lovely very friendly and upgraded us to a larger apartment. The location was perfect and views fabulous. Apartment a little dated and small ensuite but all in all it was great and I would stay there again.

Excellent value for money, fantastic location, very generous and spacious apartment with washer and dryer, couldn't have been happier.

Solnamara is are only choice for accomodation at Burleigh now. Christine is such a wonderful hostess and the rooms and views fabulous. Love the position as well. Just a bit noisey at present due to construction next door

We spent 3 nights here as part of a recent Australian touring holiday. We absolutely loved our huge beach front apartment, we'd happily exchange it for our house in the UK :) We arrived after 6pm so check in was via the safe outside the main entrance. We were left clear instructions on email so this was really straight forward. The basement car park and parking space was really handy. The apartment was huge, clean and modern. The view of the ocean (and sounds!) were amazing and something that we will cherish in our memories. We used Burleigh Heads as a base for visits to Currumbin Wildlife park and for a general nosy along the Gold Coast. We found it a great base to reach these places with ease.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom ocean view apartment. The room was disgustingly dirty. The bathrooms had scum and filth all through the tile grout and in the shower. It looked like behind the toilet had never been mopped. There was a dirty left over razor from a previous guest left in the bathroom cupboard. There were dirty finger prints all over the surfaces and the walls were scuffed and marked. The couches were stained and dirty to the point where we didn’t want to sit on them. Cups and plates were chipped and cutlery unwashed. The filth of the apartment outweighed the beautiful view from the room and pool. Wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend anybody stay here.

Extremely disappointed with our 9 night stay at the Boardwalk! We booked a 3 bedroom apartment with ocean views. The whole place felt unclean, uninviting and had a distinct unpleasant odour! The furniture was stained; the bathrooms were in desperate need of a good clean; the dishwasher stunk; carpet dirty & tread-bare; terrible velour blankets; very limited mix-matched cutlery & crockery and we shared the accommodation with a couple of cockroaches!! When I informed Reception about how unhappy we were, I was told to send an email!

We were really disappointed with our experience at Boardwalk Burleigh Beach. We had planned to stay in April with our 6-month-old baby and requested a porta-cot for our room. To our surprise, we were informed that there would be an additional $50 charge for the porta-cot, which felt completely unnecessary and unwelcoming. This is a first for us, so heads-up to any families looking to book this place.

Location is fantastic but…. We payed for an ocean view room. We were placed on the roadside of the building where the only water views could be found in a 1x1m corner of the balcony. Couldn’t hear the waves over the sound of the traffic on the Gold Coast highway. Asked for a new room and was told no. Also was given no credit for the downgraded room as it was apparently classified as an oceanview but when the new building went up next door it’s completed blocked off 99% of all views.

Dirty, terrible service. Not as advertised!! Do not book these apartments. Have stayed before years ago in advertised rooms, went back recently was given keys to a room and told not to go up until after 2pm. It was obviously a privately owned Air BnB. Not like the pictures on the website. Personal items in the apartment. The one TV was linked to someone’s personal account and no free to air. Blankets unwashed and shoved in a cupboard. Service was TERRIBLE! Nobody available at the desk and no one to speak with over the phone. This place is a SCAM!!

This establishment seems to prioritise greed over guest safety. Even a Tropical Cyclone, all public transport being stopped, airports closed and a local area do not travel advisory in place still wasn’t enough of a reason to offer my daughter a refund on her booking. Yes I know of the non refund policy in place but circumstances outwith anyone’s control surely was enough of a reason to show empathy. Nope, this hotel would still see guests travelling before showing any empathy. Even booking.com offered to waive any commission and offered my daughter any help they could under the circumstances. So unless you really, really, really want to stay here, I’d avoid as I does seem obvious that they care not for guest safety. Poor show is an understatement !!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boardwalk. The facilities are fantastic and very well-kept. The pool, spa and BBQ are perfect for a relaxing stay. Our room was neat and tidy. A huge thank you to the lovely staff who mailed back an item we left after checkout. They were very kind and helpful.

We booked an Deluxe Ocean View for 7 days. Firstly, there was no one at reception 1430hr on a Saturday and no instructions on how to get the keys. Secondly, The air-conditioning did not work in the Living area despite the temperature being in the mid 30's. The help line although polite could not help but assures me someone would call us the next day. No one did. Thirdly, The ocean view was of a great big building in front, left and right towering over our very small balcony. You could glimpse the sea around the front building but it certainly was not an ocean view. We did receive a rather passive aggressive email telling us we had to provide photo ID and a credit card by 1400hr the next day (despite already paying $1446) or our key card would be deactivated. Unfortunately the reception was only open from 1200hr to 1400hr and we had come down for a family function and could not make that tight time schedule. Because of the risk of being locked out and the horrible accommodation, we checked out the next day and moved 50m to another hotel. We lost $1446 but happy not to have to stay another minute in this place. My advice is check the room before handing ant money over.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Apartments clean and had everything we needed. Bed and pillows super comfy, reception staff welcome and friendly, very happy to help. Pool area clean, spa nice and warm, relaxing areas to be in. Location amazing, quiet but close to everything you need. Cafe, subway and 7/11 just below Apartments. Will definitely be back.

This hotel was unacceptable for the price I paid for, we weren't given enough facilities and if we wanted more we had to pay at an extra cost. In the rooms there were ANTS all in the living room. I had a terrible experience, and we were also bitten by the ants. The view was great but other than the it wasn't as pleasant as expected. The pictures when purchasing this hotel isn't in comparison to what we received, poorly managed unfortunately.

Really disappointed by this ‘resort’. Lounge room & kitchen were pokey for a full week’s stay, felt claustrophobic. view wasn’t great (overlooked, no privacy) reception is open for two hours on Sat & Sun (can’t check in before 2pm. Guess when it closes!?). The pics online are misleading. Won’t be back :(

4.5 stars. The location was excellent, gorgeous views of the beach and fell asleep every night listening to the pounding ocean waves. Great cafes and restaurants nearby, and public transport was brilliant. Buses into surfers every 10 minutes. We had only a few asks of reception, who were helpful and friendly, even offering us a late checkout and storing our luggage on final day as had a late flight to catch. The apartment itself was lovely, the only reason this wasn't rated a 5 was due to kitchen utensils/pots/pans etc, knives were blunt, handles nearly coming off pots, no chopping board. Easy fix. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely location and views! The ocean is right on the doorstep and you can hear the waves lull you to sleep! Adored this spot for my first holiday in many years. The room was quite clean and felt inviting when we arrived! We stayed for 8 days, and were notified in the middle of our stay that we would have a mid-stay clean of the rooms, however we never received this which was a bit disappointing, but it didn’t put a damper on the stay! Some of the furniture and appliances are a bit outdated and run down, but we honestly didn’t mind as we spent far more time out and about than we did in the apartment! The doorknobs on every door are loose and it feels like they will fall off every time I use them. One of the closets, I think it had the water heater in it, was so noisy for almost the entire stay that made it difficult to sleep or relax at times as a constant high pitched squeaking could be heard all throughout the apartment. The underground parking is extremely cramped. We had a FWD and could not manage to squeeze into the spaces. On weekends, the upstairs parking gets filled with small sedans that could easily fit in the underground parking, which left us struggling to park.

Beautiful location, very convenient. Room spacious for us. Cozy and comfortable- our room was not upgraded but okay for us. Loved the views and nice staff.

Great location. staff are very kind and friendly. We walked everywhere.. The only reason for 4 star is that the gym equipment is old and a bit rusted needs to be updated and the spa wasn’t working until the last couple of days of our trip and the Internet struggled. The room was fantastic and had wonderful views of the beach and the beds are super comfortable. We would stay again.

Two bedroom unit on the 15th floor with awesome 180 degree views of the ocean and Surfers Paradise. Location is perfect to access the beach and local eateries. The unit is well furnished, clean apart from sand left by other guests and a dirty BBQ. Unit lacks basic cleaning supplies. Front desk staff are helpful and friendly, indoor and outdoor pools were clean and inviting. Overall a great place to stay.

IT'S NOT CLEAN! We found the main shower to have hair in abundance! Yuk! There was dust/dirt on the kitchen counter! Yuk! We found 8 items in our apartment, from hearing aid piece, kids pencils, coin etc etc Makes you wonder what housekeeping do? If we found these items so easily. AND STAFF LIED TO MY FACE! We spent more than $12K (35 room nights for family) and wanted to change our booking prior to arrival. We were told this would be ok and we need do nothing further. This was repeated twice on arrival and confirmed on departure. There has been no further contact or communication, no return calls or e-mails. After being told to our face we had done what we needed to and now nothing. Perhaps I am old fashioned but I do not enjoy being lied to my face!!! Question staff principles. Question business ethics. Very disappointing way to run a business!!!

Positives. Great location. Lovely friendly service. Good facilities large 2 bedroom apartment Negatives. We had an apartment that was not updated. Pretty old however was decent and Clean. The building looks like it getting a full refurbished. Hopefully all apartments get same. Would definitely stay again. For the right price.
