Really nice place! Sometimes we don’t come here because it’s always so busy, but we went again this Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded. The service was fast, even though there was a line to order, it moved quickly. Staff were friendly and super attentive, constantly cleaning tables, and one even helped us find a table a bit away from other dogs (we were there with three!). The coffee was great, and oh my gosh — the danish with ice cream, pistachio and Nutella was amazing! Absolutely loved it.

Had the most amazing experience here. Busy but not crowded as there are lots of spaces to sit. They have streamlined it so it is efficient, pre made juices and ordering is quick. We didn't have to wait long to be delivered the best breakfast I've had out...ever! Highly recommend the toad in a hole, I was sceptical about the additional of sambal sauce but it absolutely elevates it, along with goats cheese too!! The whole table were happy with their meals and juices were delicious too. Can't wait to go back!

We got the Mushrooms and Acai Bowl and they were awesome. Mushroom was juicy, flavorful and acai was so fresh! The caramel cookie milkshake was so loaded and thick, exactly like how I want it to be! My friend got the banana smoothie and he loved it as well! Can’t say how much I love this place! The atmosphere, the food and quick service! I have been here several times and they never failed me!

A fantastic, trendy yet comfortable spot for coffee and brunch. Grab a seat among the trees and let the lovely staff take care of the rest. The bacon Benedict bagel was delicious as was the coffee. They had a great range of pastries which we were too full to try! Next time.

Lovely outdoor setting with plenty of tables and a really nice ambience – especially on a beautiful winter’s day. Visited on a Monday mid-morning and it wasn’t too busy, managed to find an off-street carpark about 10 or so. Ordered a coffee, iced mocha, jam doughnut and cinnamon scroll – all were delicious. Roughly $30 all up. The only downside was the toilets, which were quite dirty. Otherwise, a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks.

Out of all the cafés I’ve tried, this one truly stands out as one of the best. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm, fast, and incredibly efficient – perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a relaxing break. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, but it’s the bread that really stole the show – perfectly fluffy on the inside, with that crisp, golden crunch on the outside. You can tell it’s baked fresh and made with care. The coffee here also deserves a shout-out: bold, smooth, and beautifully made. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality more than justifies it. The place is popular for good reason, so it can get quite busy – especially on weekends – but the lively atmosphere just adds to its charm. Despite the crowds, I’d happily come back again. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this café is well worth a spot on your must-try list.

I’m just in LOVE with this place. The venue and garden make you nearly feel like you’ve escaped to the countryside far away from stress. If you avoid peak hours (it does get very busy), grab a book, find a quiet spot and you’ll never want to leave. It’s so peaceful. I’m vegan, and even though there aren’t many vegan options, I’m really satisfied with what’s available. The vegan XO mushrooms meal is exquisite! The textures and flavors are just perfect, honestly. The vegan macadamia slice is my guilty pleasure.. Oupsi 👀

We have visited twice in two weeks for lunch. Both times trying out eggs benedict croissant and plain bacon and egg croissant. Also a range of cakes. The food is very good quality as baked daily. It's no bargain, but the place is always packed full. Seats could be more comfortable the ones we had were industrial feeling. Also it was open to the cool wind on both occasions. So wear something to cope with a breeze. Car park in front small and always chaotic. Road works on main road at the moment don't help with finding a park.

We went to Bam Bam Bakehouse for breakfast. Our coffee arrived first, but we waited about 25 minutes for the food, and when we asked, they realised they had forgotten our order. By then, the coffee was cold and not enjoyable. Overall, the coffee wasn’t great. I ordered the Hot Custard and Jam Croissant — it was nice — and my partner had the Snickers Twice Baked, which was overly sweet but not bad. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a very good experience overall. The place could have been cleaner.

Bam Bam did not disappoint. The menu extensive; service amazing & food was so delicious. They were super busy however the staff move fast & are efficient. It all adds to the atmosphere. We loved it and will spruik its pure existence. Photos are inadequate.

Lovely place to visit during the day — bright, cozy, and relaxed vibe. The croissant sandwich was buttery and crispy with rich cheese; the fried chicken roll had a perfect crunch without being greasy, and the strawberry tart was fresh and smooth. Everything looked beautiful and tasted balanced. One of the best brunch spots on the Gold Coast for both food and atmosphere.

Located just next to a small park and also off the main street. Super convenient with a bus stop right in front of the building. The host was lovely and he had the friendliest smile. Service was pretty good throughout. Tried the recommended Bam Bam Benny (got mine with sauce on the side), it didn’t disappoint. The croissant had that flaky crisp on the outside and the softness on the inside. I would order the iced tea again, great thirst quencher. Apparently the strawberry tart is a must-try so got a takeaway cos I was full! It’s a pet friendly spot which is always fab (except when a dog at the next table with high pitched barks keeps going!) Otherwise, some lovely chirping by the birds from the park.

Every single time we travel from North Queensland to the cost, Bam Bam is on our list of must do! Amazing coffee, desserts and croissants that are so flaky and divine, made fresh on site! All the food is amazing! Wish they would open up in Mackay! Do yourself a favour and visit!

I went to this great place for breakfast yesterday. The environment was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and they also make their own bread and cakes, which were really tasty. The coffee was excellent too. I’ll definitely go back again — it’s a place worth recommending.

One of the more fancy style bakeries on the coast in the village. A total cafe concept that delivers overall quality and tasty food and coffee. The slightly odd things are not being able to warm up the almond croissant and serving a very hot coffee in a cup without handles…. As said this is a very nicely designed concept that delivers on both quality and price:-). Enjoy

Great staff, service, and pastries! The cookie was really good and the burger was massive. It was a bit pricey for the burger but was pretty filling. Really nice atmosphere and lots of seating. ✨nice location.

Came here with me partner to grab a matcha coffee. Always like my coffees hot but most places don’t manage to do it this time it was so hot had to wait for it to cool lol. It a very popular spot for younger people who have been out running or up the gym on a Saturday morning. It’s always busy but has lots of seating. Definitely worth a visit and they have a bakery attached.

I have visited quite few times, and winter limited hot chocolate is my favourite. Ah as pastry, I liked muffin top cookie which is so unique as I only like muffin top but bottom! Last but not least, almond croissant is amazing.

Dined here for brunch on a Monday. I ordered the Bagel and my wife ordered the sandwich. I originally thought the Bagel was expensive for $24 not including the poached egg. However don't be deceived as the salmon was quality. Personally I wouldn't worry about ordering the egg next time. Wife said her chicken sandwich tasted great. The only this is this sandwich had a normal amount of sauce. Both my wife and I have an unhealthy relationship with excessive sauce. The standouts of the visit were some sweets that we ordered takeaway and didn't get photos of. That was a crispy doughnut like shape filled with dulce. 11/5 stars. The other was the pistachio cookie. Pleasant amount of pistachio with salt.

Ordered Mushrooms on toast with a side of bacon And extra toast - green smoothie. Smoothie was room temperature making it difficult To drink. Mushrooms came out dry, tasteless. No butter on toast. Bacon portion tiny and dry. The meal felt thrown Out the window with no real attention to detail. At just under $60 - i was better off going to Woolies and cookie it myself. Staff, very nice and pleasant service was very good. Just the kitchen let them down. To top it off. My stone top table Falls off into my lap whilst sitting there 😂 No offer of refund. Just a “so sorry about that” Might be time to adjust the management. I’ve completed maybe 1 complaint such as this ever. Takes a lot to apply time to making a complaint.

This place has the best custard tarts, ever! There are also lots of other amazing looking things here, but the tart is a must try. The almond croissant is also very good. Service is friendly and quick, even if there is a line up. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Bread Social never disappoints. The best beef pie ever and the coffee was good too. We sat outside. It was chucking it down but that didn’t matter. We’ve had sausage rolls before and will be back early one morning to get some. Atmosphere is created by people, who were all very friendly. Staff lovely. Thank you.

Amazing pastries and coffee and nice vibe. Definitely a highlight for breakfast in the area. The haloumi, egg and chutney bread was absolutely delicious and super fresh. Sausage roll was nice too and the dessert range looks awesome. Will be back next time I’m in town.

Seeing a long queue to me is always a good sign. A wide range of well-made baked goods on site to choose from as well good coffees. Service was prompt and personable and prices were good in today's economy. Definitely recommend a visit.

Great spot and probably the best chips I’ve ever had! Great gluten-free bread and veg options! The bigger part of our company had the fish and chips which according to them was really great! Some items/drinks on the menu was a bit overpriced but on the whole a great place worth a visit!

Perfect place to stop for a coffee or breakfast. The coffee( I took a mocha )was so good and the avocado toast yum yum . The prices are reasonable. The sitting so peaceful, the birds come and sit with you haha so cute.

Fantastic location and surroundings, as well as warm and friendly staff, however the food was incredibly average. All though the portions are big the quality is low, I’d even go as far to say the were some of the worse scrambled eggs I’ve had all year. I’d come back for a coffee but not food

A perfect place to have near the beach, you can choose to sit on their cute picnic tables or easily take everything away for a picnic. My only concern is doing everything out of takeaway packaging regardless of being recycled is eco friendly. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Thank you!! Will be back.

I’ve been here for over 1 year ago and then it was around 3-4 o'clock. So most of the items were sold out, and there were only hot pies left. (They were still all tasty though!) Finally, I could come back here and I arrived here at 10 AM this time. It was on a weekend so some of them were sold out but still were left then. How popular they are! I love Croffin so I took it home for the next day. It was still flaky but a bit more chewy because of time and the moisture. I warmed it up just a little bit. Then freshness came back! Of course, it is incredibly delicious for dine-in, but surprisingly it was still amazing for the next day! I could feel their professional skills!

Very overpriced for products. Pies have a soggy bottom, undercooked. The filling is stringy and overly soft. Hardly any cheese in the chunky cheese. Doughnut tasted like a bread roll filled with custard, despite being a salted caramel doughnut. The wrap had cold chicken in it after being warmed up due to the chicken being too thick. Do not go here unless you want to waste your money.

The staff were so kind, and the food was delicious with generous servings!! I’m celiac, and there were so many food options, with gluten free food stored in separate cabinets, and all chips and fried food being done in safe celiac fryers. 10/10 would recommend. 😍

I’ve never come across a place like this. Absolutely nailed it in every aspect. Some places specialise coffe or in pies and sausage rolls, others in sandwiches or croissants.. this place does EVERYTHING and they do it so well with a vibe to boot! I especially love the pies, which are nice and deep and full of proper steak. Also the croissants were buttery and flaky some of the best of ever had. My one regret is not trying the Vegemite and cheese croissant. It looked awesome! I’ll be there for sure

Love this place. Just had the best service by all the girls working here. They are so friendly and helpful. Coffee is lovely too. It’s a really nice, simple, down to earth cafe and bakery, genuine and healthy food. I love that they do organic and local and free range eggs .

The chunky steak pie presented beautifully with a gorgeous, flaky, golden brown pastry and, yep, there was plenty of chunk to compliment this little spunk! Tender, flavoursome chunks of steak await once the woofing down process begins. Overall, a great pie from a beautiful little boutique bakery. Service was prompt and professional!

We walked 10 Km today from Broadbeach to Burleigh to get their Sourdough Fruit loaf. Yes a long way but worth it even if expensive. Whilst there had a coffee, Portugese tart and a Sausage roll. All pretty good. They have a place in Paradise Point also. Very happy with their product and service.

Food is good but the service was enough to ruin our morning. Stood at the counter for a good few minutes completely unacknowledged even though at the time we were the only people in the shop. Caught the eye of the manager on the coffee machine right infront of us and smiled, still nothing. No good morning, no hello, it was like we were invisible. A few mins later as he took some coffees out he said ‘won’t be long’. I have no issue at all with waiting, not sure why he couldn’t have said good morning or hi or any other acknowledgment in the 5 mins prior whilst we stood there. It was like he was walking past so felt like he should now say something. We were then very abruptly served by a woman who asked if we wanted to eat in or takeaway. We advised on eat in please, she did not say a word in response. We then started to walk out the door assuming the food would be brought out as we hadn’t been advised anything differently, and as we walked out the door she basically yelled at us ‘here take your food’. Totally happy to take my own food out, but again not sure why she didn’t acknowledge this when we ordered and mention something like ‘just a moment I’ll grab some of your food for you now’ Awful customer service from both staff members and really put us off our breakfast. Costs nothing and takes no real extra time to smile or be polite.

I feel an almond croissant of $9 maybe a bit overpricing in my opinion. I feel the almond slices need to be well more brown-toasted for aroma and crispy texture enhancement and more crispier on the exterior required as well as a fresher butter cream smell and flavour from the filling paste. 3/5 for me.

I’ve been coming to 5B2F Bakehouse for years—originally recommended by a pastry chef friend, and it’s remained one of my favorite local spots ever since. The owner is a pastry chef himself, which means the dessert menu is always creative and changing with the seasons. You can even order custom cakes for weddings and other events, and they always impress. The breakfast menu is simple with only a few standard options, but everything is well made. If you’re into desserts, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

5B2F is our favourite bakery on the Gold Coast. We have been going for many years now and have had wonderful experiences both dine in and takeaway. The food is delicious and made with such love and skill. With many menu options it is always so hard to choose. The cheesecake is like no other. You must give that a try and the donuts 🍩 are one of our kids favourites. Coffee is great too. Cakes for special events are always the amazing and delicious! The staff are very friendly and very warm and inviting every time. Very family friendly and we love taking the kids. Highly recommended 5B2F to everyone.

Came here to try their almond croissant. It did not disappoint. The croissant was pretty large and buttery, with a good amount of almond cream inside. I can see why they were rated best in the Gold Coast. We also ordered their chicken toastie. It tasted good but for $18, I expected a little more chicken. The place was fairly crowded on a Saturday morning but seats were available quite quickly. I really liked the layout and decor of the cafe and the staff were attentive. I would come back to try more croissants and their quiches.

It was really, really, really, truly delicious! The moment I took a bite, I finally understood why so many people rave about this place. It is definitely a spot I want to visit again and again. Although the wait to place an order was a bit long, once we ordered, the food came out quickly. We ordered both desserts and brunch items. The dessert breads were not overly sweet, so I could really taste the natural flavor of the bread. The outside was perfectly crisp while the inside was soft and moist – I absolutely loved it. The coffee had just the right balance of acidity and nuttiness, exactly my taste. The menu itself was so pretty and unique that I spent quite some time looking at it while waiting. There were also waiting seats in the pickup zone, and the café had plenty of seating, which I really appreciated.

Walked past this bakery not expecting anything but attracted by the modern fitout and decor, once we stepped into it, we just can't resist even though we just had breakfast! Ordered the Lemon Meringue Danish and a coffee to share, wow, the pastry was flaky, the balance between the meringue and lemon custard was just right for our liking, not too sweet or sour, perfect! We were lucky to step in when there was no line, but when we were enjoying our danish and wanted to go back in to order more for takeaway, the line was so long!

If I’m going to drive all the way up the mountains then I expect some home-style service with that small town feel and you definitely do not get that here. The coffee is served warm, there is no heart or sense of warmth. Positives: the pastries look great. The venue is adorable and the menu is super unique in how it’s presented. Negatives: service is poor, you can’t make any substitutes because everything is pre-made. Seating isn’t comfortable and tables are small. Doesn’t seem pet friendly as there are no dog bowls (interesting for a French inspired venue). I could get the exact same experience (but better) at Rise Bakery in Hope island. I’d recommend to the venue that they recognise the area they set themselves up in and get that warm hospitality feel back because it’s definitely giving “we don’t care, just buy it and get out”

Great place to have brunch with a group. Most of the tables seat up to 4, with a few seating up to 6. Most of them are also under the sun. We got the Le Porchetta and Le Truffle Chicken Baguette, and the Le French Onion and Le Tripple “P” Toasties. All were flavourful and filling.

Being French and living in Queensland, franquette feels like a reward. If I’m homesick or just craving a sandwich jambon emmental or one of their perfect flans, knowing that I’m living so close to Franquette bakery makes me feel less melancholic. Thank you for the quality of all the ingredients that I can definitely feel in each pastries.

Worth the trip! Drive from the GC is short and pleasant, even for a Sunday morning. Food and service is excellent. Line can get a bit long, but worth the wait. Bought pastries to last the week!

My favourite cafe on the Gold Coast!! The staff are always so sweet and the barista remembered my name and order after visiting once 🥹 The food is always delicious, my favourites are the savoury crepe and breakfast croissant burger! Their matcha is also really yummy and I actually love the forest matcha (matcha with a shot of espresso) too. The vibes are great and I’ve spent many days studying there for hours without ever feeling like I’m loitering. Highly recommend visiting!!!

Beautiful setting and I was so excited that they had freshly squeezed orange juice! Just a tip, ask for it with no ice as they put so much ice I barely got any juice for the $8.50. The granola was so unusual for me at first as it tasted burnt but once I mixed it all together with the fruits and honey it was a nice different taste. Staff were really nice and would come again. Nothing sensational but good enough where I could finish the meal!

Tried Le Cafe Gourmand today. Felt comfy but not necessarily... French. I started with some fresh squeezed OJ ( that I learned later was $10 - I know who felt freshly squeezed at that price) The server was lovely, the salad was generous, fresh and quite tasty. I had high hopes for the pate but its flavour was far too subdued for my taste. They actually served it with 2 tiny toasted sourdough slices rather than fresh unlike other photos I had seen when researching the menu. There is no baguette like a fresh baguette! And there's nothing more French. But le Cafe Gourmand didn't even get close to recreating a French experience. C'était une déception.

I told the owner Molly how much I love her cafe: the menu which translates to “french without the fuss”, the vibrant staff and just the lively atmosphere! I’m still aiming to try everything on their menu. Merci beaucop!

Found my favorite cafe on Gold Coast! In love with Raclette tartine and Buckwheat crepe! The dish in this cafe is bit different with general cafe. Food is so delicious!

The desserts here are delicious with fine artistry. Had the pleasure of meeting Chef Pâtissier Richard Le Deunff. I came on a Saturday morning at their opening time which was so good because there was only 1 customer at the time. If you feel like treating yourself to a nice beautiful delicious dessert and around Burleigh Heads Gold Coast, definitely worth a visit!

Aux Fine Bouches is such a gem! The owner, a French gentleman, clearly takes pride in his craft, and his wife is honestly the friendliest person I’ve ever met. I had my heart set on a few desserts, but when I arrived they were already sold out. Once they realised I’d driven all the way from Brisbane (about an hour away), they offered to make the ones I wanted fresh if I was happy to wait. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days. The desserts themselves are absolutely worth it - delicate, rich, and made with so much care. You can really taste the authenticity and passion that goes into them. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’ll be ordering ahead so I don’t miss out! Highly recommend Aux Fine Bouches for both the quality of the desserts and the warmth of the owners.

Five Stars Stepping into Aux Fined Bouches feels like stepping straight into France. Every detail — from the delicate crispness of the pastries to the subtle depth of flavour in each bite — speaks of true craftsmanship. The textures are perfectly balanced, light yet indulgent, and the flavours are refined without ever being overpowering. The presentation is nothing short of exquisite; each pastry looks like a little work of art. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the charm of the whole experience. This is a rare little pocket of joy tucked into the heart of Burleigh — a place that could hold its own against the finest patisseries in Paris. A truly exceptional discovery, and one I’ll return to again and again.

Rang up the store yesterday for a last minute birthday cake and thankfully they had a few available. Was asked on the spot if I wanted to have happy birthday written on it and personalised. The cake was for another pastry chef himself so the bar was set high 😆 he was absolutely impressed and everyone said it was one of the best birthday cakes we’ve ever had! Thank you so much for the high standard service, care and delicious desert!

This is our dessert go-to after lunch at George’s Paragon Restaurant. Good coffee and a naughty pastry to finish the lunchtime experience. I do like the sprinkling of grated chocolate in the cappuccino. The pastries are fresh and flaky like good choux pastry should be. You can eat inside or brave the ravenous seagulls outside. This is the only downpoint….the birds are voracious. They even try to hop on the table while you are eating. If there is a space inside, might be an idea to take it. Still hasn’t deterred us from visiting. The servers are very pleasant.

Bland tasteless iced latte. Half filled truffle chicken pie with only chicken and leeks and with no hint of truffle flavour. The pastry of pie tasted dry and weeks old. The vanilla custard fillings of the vanilla slice on display looked fake. So I ordered the fruit tart instead. The custard filling inside fruits tart is unfortunately no better. It tasted nothing like real custard, but more of a corn starch mixed with vanilla seeds like thing, Disappointed ! Service was friendly, the seatings outdoor are pleasant when the weather is nice.

Food however a bit on the disappointing side bread was very hard and chewy on the roll, the pastry in one of the cakes we had had a very distinct burnt taste when I mentioned this to the staff she did give me full refund and a replacement pastry like I said service was excellent! We did however have a forgotten tea and when we asked where it was she just said I will go check but never returned with the tea. Our table was also extremely wobbly!

Very nice French bakery. Nice view from the table. I sometimes take away food from here too. They packed very well and beautifully. It is good to bring cakes and savory from there to friends home or buy baguette and quiche for picnic before going to park and beach too. I love this bakery rather than other places .

Beautiful views nearby. Packed on a weekday morning, this place is clearly a favourite. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. Should you decide to sit outside, your meal experience will involve birds and flies. I saw that the birds steer clear of tables with people. The drinks we were served were warm rather than hot 🥴 The food was fantastic! 👩🏽‍🍳👌🏼😋 Loved the fries (crispy and piping hot), cubby sambo (no-meat option) and the avocado sourdough (hard to cut though 😅) these were all vegetarian options. I would definitely return given the chance👍🏼

Unreal. Bolognese sausage rolls, croissants were fresh and just really amazing. Better than anything i’ve had in sydney and easily comparable to it. Halloumi cubes were unreal too. Sides are generous.

Second time here to have breakfast. First time I got the Pork Bahn mi, it tasted so good so I wanted to see if it was a one off. I was pleasantly surprised that it was amazing…again. Coffee was also very good. This is a great place to eat!

We arrived on time but our table wasn’t ready. This was no issue at all I was happy to wait, they sat us up at the bar and gave us a free drink or 2 while we waited which I thought was a lovely gesture. The area our table was in was a tad too dark and a bit loud with it being so busy but that’s normal for going out on Friday at peak dinner time. Our server was amazing , the service was really great. She even fixed our table so it wasn’t wobbly. As soon as my drink was empty they were there ready to top it back up. I had the bone marrow which was to die for. Absolutely loved that. Also had the Wagau which was cooked to perfection and the red currant jus was delicious. The carrots as a side there was plenty and had a beautiful pistachio sauce. Really enjoyed my time , great service , and great food!

It’s very rare to find truly excellent restaurants on the Gold Coast, but Glenelg is definitely one of them! The service was outstanding — super attentive — and the food was amazing. Honestly, the best meat I’ve ever had. Chef Lorenzo is incredible!!! 10/10

The Glenelg delivered some of the best food I've had in a while. The bone marrow was rich, flavourful and perfectly done as well as the steak and greens. Unfortunately the service didnt quite match the quality of the food. We had to wait around a bit and it wasn't busy when we there, just a general lack of attentiveness. Still the food alone makes it worth the visit.

We went there for an informal business meeting. Ordered the 1kg wagyu T-bone and was impressed at how it was served. It came with two sides and The steak was perfectly cooked to two types of sauces. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. Juicy and very aromatic from the herbs it was grilled with. Will definitely be a spot for dining in future.

My new fav restaurant on the GC. Delicious food, great service and chill ambience. All staff were delightful and so accomodating to my 2 sausage dogs even bringing them chopped prime rib. Steaks and sides were perfection. Staff could not do enough and quickly with a smile. Thanks for a perfect evening.

We had an incredible time here! The food was absolutely amazing – each dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavour. Good service and staff try to provide good service. It was not impressive 5 stars hotel restaurant, Food was not expected up to 5 stars and simple. That’s all. It is the most popular tourist location and not new hotel restaurant. however it is convenient and value for membership of course. Satisfied experience, but hope may changes like many attractive restaurants just near by hotels.

Dined here alone by myself, the waitress was attentive and the chef brought out my dishes and introduced to me the ingredients and how they prepared in the kitchen and with a bit table services presented. Food was considered to be nice presentation, quality and delicious without too big of price tags, I loved the taste of the chicken main and the entree scallops. Btw, if you are an Accor Plus member, you do get 25% to 50% off on your food. The atmosphere was decent, it could get noisy if you choose to sit at the window sitting, just try and pick a spot near the entrance would be bit quieter. Definitely way better then my dinning experience at Sofitel Melbourne Booking recommended to avoid waiting time at the bar as hotel guests also get their welcome drinks there. Overall, a good dining experience, and would definitely come back again!

This restaurant needs 10 stars. The food was freaking amazing and the staff phenomenonal. Best food I have had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection and presented with such elegance. Fine dining at its best in a stunning location. MASSIVE shoutout to our wait staff Soil and Larissa who kept out our drinks topped up, helped me choose my food and were just straight up amazing. They made our night perfect. Loved the location so much we returned for breakfast the next morning.

Just reopen on 23/5. This Sofitel’s restaurant is spectacular for their service and food. Friendly, helpful, caring, professional and very polite staffs, food was beautifully served and delicious, we also got some surprise for our anniversary. I strongly recommend the scallop and barramundi. The restaurant didn’t charge us the parking fee. This is a must-try restaurant in Surfer Paradise Gold Coast

Was such a great night! Was our last night in Gold Coast. I remember the food was delicious, the service was excellent. The moon was so pretty that night, I hope my boyfriend and I have more and more nights like this ahead of us. He might not know but I really enjoy his accompany❤️

Outstanding. What an amazing gastronomy experience. Food was exquisite. Explosion of flavour and presentation was exceptional. Halder the chef is truly clever and an expert in enchanting and delicious taste sensations. He is someone to watch as I have no doubt we will be hearing lots about Helder in the future! This is a must visit restaurant.

We had the 12 course degustation (2 for 1 in Tuesday nights). Quite a few good courses. The strangest was the crocodile fat (bone marrow) - far too strong for anyone's liking & it left a strange after taste - (someone likened it to eating petroleum jelly coated in white chocolate). None of our party of 6 ate finished that course - but some. People might actually like it. I quite enjoyed the scallops Ceviche, the Crab mini pie, the snail crackers, lamb & eggplant, loved the dessert - pistachio ice cream.

The staff were amazing and helpful but the food and venue did not live up to our expectations from 5 years ago when we ate there last, 5 years ago it was amazing. The restaurant also seemed a bit dated, lighting and music, vut venue was clean and well stocked. Food was at best average, nothing stood out. But as i said, staff were lovely and kind. More of a family, tourist, function buffet.

Only worth it for the seafood. If you don't eat seafood you're better off going to Cliffords next door. The seafood quality is excellent but the food selection in general for a buffet is very very lacking. There are barely any waiters going around to clear the plates, which makes for terrible service.

Lived up to expectations of a seafood buffet restaurant. As you can see from the photos the variance was abundant and flavourful. Waitress and waitresses were very attentive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

It opened early enough for me to have breakfast and be on my way at 0700 am. The staff were so friendly and helpful that I wish I could go there more often. The food was delicious and the chef was friendly whilst bringing my food to my table. It was a delicious omlette. It was for me the best breakfast buffet on the Gold Coast.

Fantastic seafood buffet. Good variety which included smoked salmon, crab, oyster and Morten bay bugs!!! The seasonal veg soup was amazing. We usually only drink pumpkin soup at buffets but this was similar if not better.

The food is standard. I went on a weekend so it's seafood buffet. Gotta say the crab legs were fresh and sweet but oysters weren't that good. Prawns were nicely cooked. The other food was standard, I had a few rounds of roast beef and chicken fajitas. Compared with the Sydney one, the Sydney one provides more variety of international food, so the overall variety is less at Gold Coast. The service at Gold Coast is a lot better than the Sydney one though, so overall my experience was still satisfactory.

Breakfast was good and the food tasted fresh. The atmosphere was comfortable, and everything was well-presented. However, the variety wasn’t very large, so it’s more for a simple and satisfying start to the day rather than a big feast.

Went there on a 50% off promotion on First Table but have been there a couple times before at full price. Supposed to be a Japanese themed buffet this month and also a seafood weekend buffet. The Japanese options were ok but I thought there would be sushi and sashimi options but they didn’t have any. Overall the food is good although not as much variety. Crab legs were good though as well as the prawns.

9.6.2025 We visited for the 6.30pm Dinner Buffet. The Buffet selections were quite ordinary. The sliced Roast Beef was tough, Tiger Prawns were very salty, Crabs were tasteless, Asian Roast Chicken pieces were dry and the Dim Sum were over-steamed. I enjoyed the Grilled Barramundi, Battered Fish, Hot Chips and Coffees. Desserts were underwhelming. Used plates on most tables were not cleared. I can understand children enjoying this buffet more.

Fantastic all you can eat Seafood Buffet. Friendly and attentive service. We came a bit earlier on a quiet Saturday and were lucky as no one in the queue and quieter in restaurant so was kindly let in a bit earlier which was wonderful so we could pace ourselves a bit. There’s no way you could try even a morsel of every item on display there is such a selection. Oysters though small were delicious and fresh. King prawns were perfect size also very fresh and amazing. Delicious mussels in a yummy sweet Asian style sauce. Yummy Mac n cheese, delicious Carbonara pasta, awesome hot chips. Pork medallions were very good and delicious roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli seasoned with salt and olive oil perfectly. Thinly sliced roast pork with crackling was delicious and Angus roast beef was big maybe a bit too big but very good but needed seasoning or maybe a jus. Indian monthly special had an array of sweet and savoury dishes. They tasted very authentic with complex spices but felt it overpowered the flavours of everything else but really enjoyed the potato bonda and chicken 65. Didn’t love the roast pumpkin with curry as I love it just naturally caramelised. Also Southern fried wings were meh. Didn’t get to try any of the leafy nor exotic salads, pizzas, cheeseboard, antipasto, sushi nor dumplings. The dessert section was next level. Incredible selection of cakes, pavlova, mousse, melons, cheesecake, jelly, apple crumble, bread n butter pudding, parfait, eclairs, Indian sweets, vanilla or chocolate soft serve and milk (should’ve been dark!) chocolate fountain! Favourite was the crème brûlée made to perfection!!! Only downside was that we were seated with 2 groups with babies and young kids who were loud, fighting/crying and banging on stuff so was not the best ambience while they were there but lovely when they left. Why would you seat couples with big groups especially babies and screaming kids who knows maybe First Table section? Unlimited post mix soft drink and hot drink machine and great tea selection. Overall an excellent buffet experience that exceeded expectations and would highly recommend but perhaps opt for a table better suited to your requirements. Would be great option for family groups of big eaters. Staff were excellent, clearing used plates and replenishing discard bowls and offering drink service. Parking for up to 3 hours was $10 (free for members) and allowed us time to walk the casino and watch punters lose thousands of dollars. Food was overall excellent and highly recommend crème brûlée, oysters, prawns, mussels, orange almond cake. If you’re a sweet tooth, hit dessert bar first. It’s awesome! Excellent First Table option saving you 50% off food.

The breakfast is a must - great variety esp if you have kids. All sorts of eggs - from scrambles to poached to boiled eggs, shakshuka, fried eggs and live omelette station. Loved the international variety of foods - Desi touch, Japanese and sushi and noodles as well. Loved the cut fruits variety and also the wide range of yogurts and parfaits and muesli and green juices and smoothies. They even had an açaí bowl station. I looked forward to the bfast for all 6 days that we were there. Kids had a blast with pancakes and waffles and Nutella - a treat that they enjoyed. Special thanks to chef Myro who guided us throughout and also greeted us daily and took care that we enjoyed our food options.

Mediocre experience, it was good for a nice meal but did not have the most smooth experience. The menu did mislead me in the pricing of add-on items due to formatting (however the staff aren’t to blame for this!). Chicken schnitzel burger was nice and crispy, but fries were incredibly salty. The atmosphere was very nice and gave a real ‘country town cafe’ energy.

Hands down the best pie in SEQ. Pastry was light and flaky, the meat chunky and tender, flavourful gravy. Yes please!

Very disappointed with the piece of carrot cake that we were served this morning. Normally it is put in a box with a fork and napkin. Today it was the smallest piece I have ever been served and for nearly $7 and it was thrown in a paper bag where the icing smeared off the cake. We ended up driving up to Tamborine Mountain where we were served this big beautiful piece of carrot cake in a box with a fork and napkin. The worst part was the fact that both of these pieces of cake cost the exact same price.

Great stopover on a little day trip. Lots of bikes, but plenty of parking. Had a hot chocolate and cappuccino, both great, but maybe could be hotter. Service was prompt and friendly, price was fine. Definitely recommend

Wow tried the pies randomly on the way to somewhere but im glad i tried. Enjoyed totally the mouth watering pies me whole family especially kids. Now they added me another thing to my to do list, visit out post on weekend to have Delicious pies. I highly recommend it. Also ambience is one of a kind.

Had breakfast there this morning, a very comprehensive menu. Not only menu, but baked goods, hot pastures, drinks and treats. We enjoyed a reasonably priced cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly, helpful and the service top notch. We asked for extra hot, hot chocolate and they delivered. It is so nice to enjoy a hot drink to the very end.

I spent good time but i don’t think it’s really korean style restarunt. I expected more good quality meat… and that chopstick was not even korean chopstick. maybe i expected too much. That shrimp was good and female employee was really nice. If you’re korean, think wisely!!

Dodgiest place I've seen! Portable air con mounted on the wall, tarps as ceilings, butane gas bottles that ran out twice. Poor service. Dirty toilets. I can keep going. Absolutely disgusting.

We visited this restaurant on the last day of our trip to the Gold Coast, hoping to enjoy a familiar Korean BBQ buffet. Unfortunately, this decision completely ruined our final evening. My husband and I rarely go to buffets, but we chose this one trusting that a Korean BBQ buffet would, at the very least, be a safe and decent option. It turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Despite its name, there was little about this place that resembled authentic Korean BBQ. The quality of both the meats and seafood was extremely poor — so much so that we felt guilty even offering it to our children. The meats were tough, poorly prepared, and almost impossible to identify by cut. Our children barely touched the food after a first taste, eating only four nuggets and a small serving of fried rice for dinner. It is honestly frightening to think that someone might believe this is what Korean food is supposed to taste like. The quality was so low that, even if we were paid, we would not want to eat it again. Looking at the condition of the food made us feel genuinely angry. It was a deeply disappointing and regrettable way to end our trip to the Gold Coast. This experience has also taught us an important lesson: Don't rely on Google reviews blindly. We would strongly recommend others to think twice before visiting this restaurant.

This place is Amazing. You cook your own food and the calamari is the best calamari It melts in your mouth even after cooking it for 2 mins or 8 minutes. The burners keep you warm. There is fresh fruits and salads, It is a great atmosphere. You must must go to this place. I spent around $100 for 2 people. I chase food experiences and this is one of those experiences.

Me and my husband were so full. We really enjoyed our time grilling and tasting their food. I love that it's 2hrs time, so you don't have to rush. I also love that their place is open, so it makes it easy for the smoke to go away. How I wished they had more dessert to offer. Hopefully next time. But all in all, I will definitely recommend this place!

My daughter chose this restaurant to celebrate her birthday, we drove 1 hour and 32 minutes to get there and I have to say it was worth it. It Started with a warm welcoming and we didn't have a booking, but they fit 6 of us in and welcome us with a smile and a great attitude. Food was great . It was very fresh and the trays were always topped up. We got to meet the owner as well very nice kind and friendly people. When we told them it was my daughter birthday, at the end they organised a little cake with candles and music, all the staff came around and sang for her, making her feel so special and she couldn't stop laughing. It was a fantastic experience, definitely would go again.

For years this has been a solid staple for good food. All bakery items are amazing and great value for money (don't ever go to a franchise bakery if you're driving distance to here). My advice is get cheesy mite scrolls, they give you two for the price of one every time. Whether you're a local, or just up to visit, you won't be disappointed. After some over zealous xmas celebrations the lamb pie makes a great morning snack!

Wholemeal bread for sandwiches is okay and a good price. Pies I had mince and peas and mince and cheese, both tastless Too much Pastry and not enough filling, good prices but no flavour or size to them.

Got ourselves a biscoff doughnut and chocolate croissant as a Sunday treat to share. Although there wasn’t much left in way of sweets, it still tasted fresh and delicious. Next time we’ll go earlier in the day and try something different.

Vanilla Slice was huge, tasted alright. Not the best I've ever had but alright enough to buy again. They have slices in another fridge that you can't see from front. So i asked for a danish apple cake assuming it would be a peice of cake but it was literally the entire cake. So pays to ask. 2 small tables but not ideal for dining in.

I'm a big fan and promoter but they're not as good as they used to be. Every time the bottom falls out of them, impossible to eat just holding them without wearing it! Soggy bottom! Also your vanilla slice what's going on with that!? No icing just bland chewy pastry with icing sugar!

Absolutely amazing! First timer here, and we will certainly be back! Caramel tart was a bit to sweet, partner and I shared it but still couldn't finish it all. Perhaps a bit more of the 'cream' on top to help cut through the sweet. Pies tasted like meat pies, beautiful!

2 stars for creativity, disappointed for my mum, she paid $100 for a burnt, dry sponge cake for my birthday. As cutting the cake it collapsed, the top layer was rock solid & burnt. The service was pretty average.

Alyssa baked me this beautiful birthday cake for my mum’s 50th and some lovely cupcakes ! The price was really reasonable considering it was all vegan, hand made and designed. She was super nice and helpful I would definitely recommend and will be ordering again. I would like to point out that I’m the only vegan in my family and whenever I order food from here they all love it. ❤️

Huge variety to choose from! Top picks: cheesecake, cream donut, curried 'egg' sandwich and custard tart! Less impressive was the lamington (too dry) and vanilla slice (custard had a strange texture) Awesome to see a fully vegan bakery with a huge range and with good price range!

All vegan bakery, what more could one want or need?! The food is epic and the staff are kind and genuinely hold a lovely conversation with you. We ordered a birthday cake last week and it was massive, definitely more than 10-12 slices I asked for which was a nice suprise. I've had their potato top pie, vanilla slice and some of the fudgy sorta slices and they've all been amaze. Definitely recommend this place!

Have heard raves about this place and finally had the opportunity to try some of the delicious items on your menu. The custard doughnuts were to die for, all of my friends scoffed these down. Unfortunately, the pull apart was a little bland and the server was unenthusiastic to be there, but, that will not stop me from coming back for some other treats.

I wish I could say good things about this place but it breaks me heart that I have to say otherwise We all know how hard it is to find vegan places to eat. I had high hopes, we where super excited as all items on display looked good and inviting, we ordered heaps, how disappointing to find out that ever single pie was raw inside. Men, serving raw pies is simply unacceptable, that can make you very sick. Clearly novice cooks as they don't even know the difference what is good and what should be discarded, I m surprised that no one else complains about it. So wrong, we spend $90 on mostly pies and few pastry, all pies had to go to the bin, pastries were ok, nothing extra ordinary, dry heavy doughnut with flavourless icing, pecan pies tasked like sugar and nothing else, disappointing as well. To top it up service girl was not switched on, borderline rude over all if I could I would give zero stars

The morning chill had me searching for a cozy spot, and I found it at Horners Bakery & Pastries. Tucked just off the highway, it's a hidden gem that feels worlds away from the passing traffic. It's the perfect little cove to escape the hustle and bustle. I stepped inside and was greeted by the warm scent of freshly baked goods and the rich aroma of Byron Bay Coffee Company coffee. The cafe itself is adorable, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to settle in. My coffee was exactly what I needed on that cool winter morning—hot, flavorful, and a great start to the day. While I only stopped for a coffee, the display cases full of pastries and baked goods were tempting. I'll definitely be back to try some of their treats and soak in the charming ambiance. If you're looking for a peaceful detour and a great cup of coffee, Horners is a fantastic choice.

Second time here, first time was not bad, pastries were delicious but grossly overpriced and service was rushed and with limited customer care despite not being busy. Then second time I got a pain au chocolat and a coffee at 6:30 in the morning on a Thursday. The server asked me if I wanted the pain au chocolat warmed up, and I asked why, and if the pastry was fresh (to wich a lady behind the counter gave me a bad stare), and was told it had been freshly baked. So I said I didn't want it warmed up, and when I started to eat it, it felt stale, not fragrant/crunchy and at ambient temperature. Also, the coffee was ordered with an extra shot of espresso and it was very weak. I took the coffee and pain au chocolat back and explained that the pastry didn't feel fresh, to which I was told that it had been baked in the previous two hours and then refrigerated, which I did not question, but I found very weird. I asked why wouldn't you warn the customer about that, so they can get the pastry warmed up, but the lady I talked to (presumably the owner or a manager) said they don't bother telling customers that they put pastries like croissants, pain au chocolat etc in a refrigerated display cabinet for some reason, and just ask customers if they want them warmed up; quite odd. I ended up leaving most of the pastry and the coffee on the counter as it was not enjoyable. I've grown up in a country known for great pastry making (Italy) and lived in Australia for 10 years, I've never seen something like this in my life, why on earth would you refrigerate a pastry such as a croissant or pain au chocolat straight away, in winter, and at the same time not care about customers and their experience, and not warn them?

I flew in from Sydney for my partners birthday on a tight budget and they delivered exception at very short notice and as we received the horrible receiption with the Langham Buffet Manage racist people who double booking their restaurant and lied about when I had all the reservation via email and I wasted so much money coming up this cakes was the only thing was the saving grace to this otherwise miserable birthday. I must admit wasn't easy customer Horners Bakery to accomodate and because Paul kept changing the itinery due to his health. So I had to bug them for the cake earlier and than later. I really wanted to be surprise at the restaurant which didn't happen because the Langham who don't care about people or birthdays especially less you got bags of gold and then probably not if you look ethnic and we do and I wanted the dark chocolate and Hannah came through on every count they are total professionals. I would highly recommend for all your catering needs and the cake so beautiful probably saved our relationship. First he said he didn't want want me to waste money on a cake but when he saw the cake like magic it reminded him of his Sette and couldn't stop raving about it (it spoke to the German side of him) how could you not just look at it - a lot of love went into the baking of that!

It's next to a highway so it can get a be noisy but got plenty of chairs at the back for you to eat your food. Food is yummy and lots of variety

felt hungry after lunch, went there pretty close to closing time (4pm), they still had a nice collection of treats. i asked the lady about the cupcakes as i am quite particular about frosting. she was very nice and polite with all my questions (i was a bit nervous), and i ended up getting one vanilla cupcake and one choc mousse tart. delicious! the mousse wasn't creamy, it was a lovely chocolate flavor, and the tart part was biscuity and crunchy. the frosting on the vanilla cupcake was nice and solid and thick, which is how i prefer it! the cupcake itself was soft and cakey. very yummy and fresh all around. and it was under $10 too!! hopefully i can come back sometime earlier in the day to try more treats!

I’ve been searching for the best bakery on the Gold Coast for the past 2 years and finally found one.Yay! I’ve tried a few breads, sweets and savory and all taste amazing and makes me very happy :) My favorites are friand, sourdough bread and escargot. It is a perfection. Great service as well. Highly recommended!

Came here to try the pastries as I was craving baked goods, went for a selection of mini tarts. They were nice but I'd say a little bit overpriced.

Super glad we came across your bakery on our way to Movie World! For breakfast on the go, our NZ family of nine ordered a mix of meat chicken, lamb, and cheese manoushi. Every bite was delicious, loaded with cheese, capsicums, olives, and fresh tomatoes. It kept us full until lunchtime and was easily one of our best food experiences. Bought a sandwich from there and found the portion size to be most underwhelming and the bread tasted slightly stale but it still OK - kinda surprising because its only 10:30am at the time of writing this so odd that it tastes stale. I probably won't buy another sandwich from there until they increase the portion size and improve the freshness. On a positive note, the coffee was absolutely amazing the beans the brewing process made for a delicious coffee which I think I drank too quickly because it was amazing. Some of the best coffee I've had in the area. If you can improve the portion size, freshness and overall selection available in the store I would definitely return for the food - right now all I can think of is the coffee.

Finally some decent bread rolls on the Gold Coast!!! Ever since traveling to Germany and having the best breakfasts ever, Australian bread rolls haven't been able to cut the mustard anymore. Brezel's bread rolls are just like the ones in Germany, super soft inside a thin crust on the outside that's not hard as cardboard. A morning trip to Brezel to pick up breakfast will now be part of our families weekend activities.

They have just opened and rather than be a petty reviewer who expects businesses to be 100% off the start line, I completely appreciate their presence here and their range is too good not to give 5 stars. Everything I have bought from them (which involves 2-3 visits per week since they have opened) has been quality and this rating is well deserved. Keep it up Brezel, we wish you all the best!

I ordered a cappuccino and an almond croissant (really excellent). The service is good, and the pastries look great. There are only a few tables, and it’s quite busy. You have to order at the counter and find a seat afterward, which can sometimes be a bit tricky. I recommend it!

I didn't want to believe bad reviews left by other people here earlier, so I gave this place a go. And I wish I didn't. The food is below average, the dough on baguette is flat and tasteless. The combination of the ingredients/toppings doesn't make it any more tasty, quite the opposite. Service is horrible. The food was served, coffee arrived 20 minutes later. Staff attitude and communication skills are appalling. Not recommended.

On my way to a client meeting...walked past this place....I saw the selection of pasteries and had to stop. Ordered a Cafe Latte and Armond Crisossont...Absolutely fantastic! One of the best I have had. Service was good, however, staff handed me a table number and there was no where to sit. Management should implement a better system, as I found that there were also a large number of people ( excess of 7) with table numbers in their hand and also waiting for a table. Not very organised. Besides that, it was a lovely place and hence the 4/5. Cleanliness: very clean Atmosphere: Relaxed and friendly I recommend this place.

cakes were nice but i disliked most employees' attitude. one served forks with dirts even though she noticed them. and another kept trying to clean up my plate even though i did not finish the last cake.. 🤨 what made you so hurry? i was just having those cakes slowly.

Honestly, I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was really disappointing. The salad I got was not fresh at all — wilted greens, weird texture, and just not appetizing. I mentioned it to our server, Bail, hoping it would be handled better, but she didn’t really do much or seem to care. They did bring out a replacement garnish, but even that was old. It felt like no one in the kitchen was paying attention, and the service just added to the frustration. Really expected better, especially for the price. Definitely not coming back.

We ordered a pistachio eclair, a red dessert and a baguette. We didn't like the baguette, the eclair had no taste, the red cake was delicious. The coffee was too strong, although I asked for 1/2 strength. The service was normal, the waiters were polite and tried very hard. Next time I'll come and try their pumpkin soup.

Dipcro Pastry truly has your back when it comes to top - tier pastries and matcha. During my recent six day stay in Surfers Paradise, I found myself returning four times - each visit with a growing order! The addiction began with an iced matcha, but things escalated quickly when I tried the strawberry matcha - no regrets. The ceremonial grade matcha paired beautifully with the sweet, jam-like strawberry purée. It was balanced, refreshing, and deeply satisfying. My daughters were especially taken by the croissant - crisp and flaky on the outside, airy and cloud - like on the inside. The cinnamon scroll was like a warm hug - perfectly spiced and sweet without being over the top. The pain au chocolat was as rich and indulgent as you'd hope, and paired perfectly with a cappuccino. And the jalapeño sausage roll? Hearty, meaty, and just the right level of heat. A special shoutout to Izzy, who was not only helpful with drink recommendations but also genuinely warm and friendly. She always greeted me with a smile - thank you Izzy! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Just be warned: one visit may not be enough.

Nice place and the pastries are awesome over the moon it’s soooo yummy it was just a fluke we passed by after a walk. I’m glad my friend discovered it it’s French and Korean and Japanese fusion . Service is on top SOYA is great smiley face staff who checked on us if everything is going well… the only catch is water area is not eye visible and not cold but not to worry.. I’m still satisfied. Great ambiance to eat and relax❤️👌

Great variety of interesting pastries. Enjoyed my first visit here last year enough that I went back a few days later, and each time I've holidayed on the Gold Coast since I've gotten a Dipcro fix, including my visit today. You'll want to go early to get the best selection as some items will sell out if you're slow off the mark. There's also limited seating here so if you prefer to ensure dine in availability go to their second branch at Main Beach. Either way you'll have a good time.

This place is INSANE!! I went in after a morning walk to get a drink and i was so tempted by the fresh pastries, just look at them!! It’s also a very short walk from the heart of Surfer’s Paradise, i’d say around 10 minutes; so it’s perfect to get a quick coffee before walking along the beach in the morning 😍 Not to mention, the service was incredible!! The employees were so happy to greet and serve everyone in the morning, it was very welcoming. Especially a lovely girl named Emmy, who made my matcha perfectly!! I got the Matcha Mochi Pastry (thanks Emmy for the recommendation!!) and it was INCREDIBLE, it was perfectly sweet with a slight savoury kick at the end, which was so addictive!! I’m definitely going when i come back to the Gold Coast!!

Dipcro is one of my favourite cafe n bakery in Gold Coast. I’ve tried most of their pastry and croissant and they are all so nice and yum. One of the staff I remember is Soya, who is passionate and so kind whenever I’ve been to dipcro. She’s always smiley and gave me good recommendation to try something new. Love the coffee she made. I almost wanna go everyday.

Absolutely the best food I’ve put into my mouth. As a chef I have to say this was such an amazing tasting day. Highly recommend the jalapeno sausage roll. Also soya had amazing customer service and made amazing coffee

Emmy was incredibly friendly, and every dish she recommended was amazing. Especially the Thai milk tea–flavored item and the truffle mushroom pastry — they were honestly some of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. If I ever visit the Gold Coast again, it’ll probably be because of this café. I’d love to come back every month like it’s a little tradition.

Coffee was great 4 out of 5 days. Only ate one day, brekky burger was yum. Maple Syrup on the smashed avo is an odd plate garnish choice and resulted in 1 guest not finishing their brekky. Overall 8/10. Have been before, will definitely be back. Very generous loyalty card with every 5th coffee Free.

Lovely bakery & cafe on the waterfront at Tweed. I've been several times & it's always excellent food and service. The nourish bowl is highly recommended.

A friend recommended this place and the online reviews seemed promising, but I left feeling a bit disappointed. The presentation of the food was beautiful, but unfortunately, the flavours didn’t quite match the price point. However, the dining environment was lovely—set by the river, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal.

Location is well worth a visit alone! Natural riverside setting with expansive tree canopies giving plenty of shade is special cafe experience. Coffees were on point! Iced lattes made with beans fron local roasters is much appreciated. Salmon croissant benedict with side of halloumi was excellent Warmed fresh baked almond croissants rank as our favourite in all of Qld! We paid much more in gold coast top cafes for much less inferior quality. Carrot cake was so good we ordered a second share. Food and drinks came to table a bit erratically but couldn't complain too much given beauty of location and friendly staff. Definately on pricey side but lesser extent compared to peer cafes. Will definately have to come back

This café had a good atmosphere, but it was a bit busy. The food took a while to arrive and was underwhelming for the price. The iced coffee was very bitter. The pie and sausage roll crust was really good, but the filling was underwhelming. The crispy chicken croissant doesn’t say anything about having a curry coating. It clashes with the sweetness of the croissant.

The menu looks great. Ordering through the app is fine but I am disinclined to tip before eating or getting any service. I went for the chicken waffles but the batter was so hard in some parts I couldn't get a fork in. Waffles were great but would have liked some more maple syrup. The half eggs Benny was excellent and the option of half serve is great. Breakfast salad was also nice. Will try again soon hopefully.

This charming cafe offers a lovely riverside setting, perfect for a relaxed brunch. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by a few issues. The place was bustling, and finding a clean table was a challenge. Birds were also a nuisance, scavenging for leftovers. The food was delicious, but on the pricier side. A simple fried egg with pan residue on it cost a surprising $4.40, and the 10% weekend surcharge added to the bill. While the atmosphere is delightful, the service seemed stretched thin with only two staff members handling the busy crowd over the spacious venue. Clearing tables and attending to customers promptly could be improved. Overall, the cafe's potential is undeniable, but it could benefit from additional staff and more attentive service.

Excellent cute place...lots of pink colours and unicorns... They serve excellent waffle and ice creams! Lots of flavours to choose from. Pricey...but worth it. Huuugeeee serving

This is a little hidden gem of a dessert place. Surfers has plenty of bars and pubs so it’s great to have a late night place that isn’t focused on alcohol. Well worth the visit for sweet tooth’s. It’s a little out of the way from the main tourist areas and doesn’t get the foot traffic it deserves.

Lovely looking Café with cute décor. Located on Elkhorn Avenue Surfers Paradise near The Esplanade. Very Welcoming and Friendly Service Had the Caramel Banana Waffle & a Taro Bubble Tea. The Presentation was fabulous and the taste outstanding ! Can thoroughly recommend.

The Original Bingsu is big enough for 3-4 to share. This time around they have ran out of mochi and was replaced by strawberries

Matcha Bingsu (Shaved Snow) (Cup: $15.9, Bowl: $25.9): As a Taiwanese, I’m a huge fan of shaved snow as well as a matcha lover and I can confirm this is just as good as Mango Shaved Snow. On the top, I genuinely enjoy the premium matcha ice cream with some nutty brownies and condensed milk. But afterwards, here comes the distinctive shaved snow, which is quite popular in Taiwan. The flavour turns out as amazing and authentic but more scattered pieces than in Taiwan. She ran out of mochi at that time and can be replaced with a topping that you like then I go for brownie but also thank her for not putting red beans. This little dessert shop with several tables is near Chevron Renaissance and not far from the tram station (Cavill Avenue). Most importantly, it’s very nice and passionate of the owner that you get a 10% discount for cash payments. Overall, it’s a 10 out of 10!

Janus Deli did not disappoint! The strawberry matcha was super tasty and refreshing — definitely a new favourite. The doughnuts were next level, soft and full of flavour. And that bacon and egg panini? So good! Perfectly toasted and packed with flavour. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

came and got the family feast with my family and we INHALED everything!!! the sandwiches were super tasty - although hard to eat 😅 - the meatballs were good, but the standouts were the fried chicken and the donuts !!! we tried the pistachio crueller, the vanilla crueller, the strawberry cream bun and the cookie donut. Pistachio was my fav but honestly they were all amazing! Washed it all down with the best pistachio matcha ever! Service was super friendly and food was great! Definitely check them out 💖

Very friendly service by all staff the minute we walked in. Always puplar especially on weekends. Lost of food to choose from. The coffee is VERY expensive -locally speaking. The large size one is over $8 and the cup size is not really that big at all. Yes coffee prices are going up but nearby cafes still only charging around $6 for a large cup. So it's all relative -maybe that's the price in Surfers. When we sat out size, it got very noisy at times as the cafe is not far from the busy main road so traffic noise can get loud and we had to shout in order to hear each other. Limit seating inside. Will return for the yummy food but definitely not the Coffee due to the excessing pricing (for large size).

The donuts & pastries are delicious! Not too sweet, a good balance. We had a few sandwiches to share and everything was good! The price is a bit steep but regardless, cute spot!

Very nice doughnuts, and some of the drinks are really good-- the mont blanc for example. The sandwiches are mostly pretty good. It's a very busy shop and the staff can't keep up. Tables always covered in rubbish and plates from previous customers.

Came here for lunch and they did not disappoint. We ordered the moo-licious and the Janus Amore. Both servings were generous in size and were delicious! We couldn’t leave without trying the donuts. The vanilla custard cruller was amazing. The strawberry and cream donut was so fresh and light. We will be back to try out more of the menu….especially the donuts!

I ordered beef pastrami and mushroom toasties which were both amazing!! Cheese was nicely melting and creamy🥰 it was a quite big portion!! I will definitely come back😊

Very disappointed in the food. At first glance the ham, cheese, tomato toasted sandwich looked good (which it should considering it's such an easy & basic thing to make) however once I opened it I was very unpleasantly surprised. What a completely and utterly pathetic item to serve to a customer and considering there was only 1 other table occupied at the time, they didn't even have the excuse of being busy.

First time here, 5 of us. we came in at 7.30 am on a Thursday, we ordered 5 coffees and sat inside as it was a rainy day. Service was friendly and also efficient. I like the staff uniforms, the aprons look great. My only criticism is the chairs have No padding so to sit for a se one coffee was very uncomfortable. I was pleasant,y surprised with this coffee shop. Well done. I would have stayed longer but the chairs had me leaving with no padding.

This cafe is fabulous, from the friendly staff, variety and quality of food to the excellent coffee. From the minute you walk in, you are in an inviting and friendly environment. Helpful staff always willing to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed so you can enjoy your Campos coffee. It seems to be mostly regulars and everyone is on a first name basis. This place is a must!

Nice Café, not far from the lake. They serve Campos coffee, always great. And the Eggs on Turkish with Avocado was delicious! Good value options.

Went there every couple of months since my kids were at Varsity college and they are in the University now. The prices have gone up a lot since changing new owner but the food is still acceptable and it’s close to my house so we still went there but today I was shocked at how rude this Asian lady served me behind the counter. She has ruined my day. If she is this hot temper I think she should consider changing the job unless someone taught her what is customer service. I won’t be going there again if I see her there.

Bad cafe these days, it used to be great until new owners took over. Now it’s dirty and food quality is not good. If you check a lot of the more recent five star reviews, look at the Indian names… It’s clear the owner is getting friends or family to leave fake reviews!

Just had an amazing experience at the new cafe in town! 🌟 The food was top-notch—excellent quality and super reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Have been staying nearby and have really enjoyed visiting Farina & Co. The staff are always lovely and its a great atmosphere inside the cafe. I have been getting the Banana Bread, and if you love Wallnuts, you will love this bread! It's so yum, especially when toasted with the melted butter. Bonus is that the current special (6am - 8:30) is a Banana Bread and small coffee for $12. Who can say no to that.

I used to visit this Farina all the time & it was always pumping with people & a great atmosphere , you could tell the place had a lot of love and care put into it. Now, ever since the big menu change, it’s completely different. The place is dead with no customers, no energy, and even the staff look sad and unmotivated. It just feels so unloved. I asked for some pasta on display, and the staff member said, “We don’t do that”Okay… so why is it on the menu and sitting on display? I honestly hate leaving a bad review because this used to be one of my favourite spots, but after my last visit with NO ONE else in the cafe I was not acknowledged once ! Even when I left , I said thank you and the staff just sat there and didn’t say a word. Such a shame to see what was once a vibrant, welcoming café lose its spark. I really hope they bring back the old menu and the heart that made the place special.

The location is behind a busy street from Bundall. Nice simple croissants 🥐 and good coffee. Not very buttery croissants and you can use jam and butter for it. Coffee is not bitter and not too light and it was smooth. Pasta tastes good and chips are also good. Very photogenic shop . You can Oder by QR code or to staff . Nice interior design.

I recently visited Farina's and had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious – every bite was comforting and flavorful. Lovely place! Food is incredible! We had the fresh pasta, paninis and the hash brown, everything was cooked perfectly and you can really taste the quality of each product. Service was excellent, very attentive and smiley!!! You can also see how they make the pasta/bread while you are eating! Highly recommend it!!

Wow! These pies are absolutely monstrous! I bought the chunky steak pie and it most certainly didn't disappoint when it comes to size, pastry, filling and value for money. I just had to cut this big boy open to unveil the meaty magnificence awaiting inside. The pastry was flaky, golden brown and held together nicely. Definitely in the top 5 pies I have devoured on the Gold Coast. As impressive as the pie was, my attention wavered towards the similarly sized vanilla slice dominating the display cabinet. Big, bold and bursting with flavour, its filling was light and velvety with a nice hint of sweetness on top. I'm one seriously happy little chappy!

Pork roll, with a bit of salad and extra mayo - thank me later, delivers every time. I love the fresh bread rolls as it’s toasted just enough so it’s got a slight crunch on the outside but still soft on the inside. I’ve tried the muffins, they are huge and quite good. The Lamingtons were also huge , not my favorite but still tastes ok. Service is friendly and efficient.The Pies aren’t too bad. I would go here for the Bahn Mi’s more than anything else on the menu. I must say though that the filling is not as generous as other places. Sometimes I need to buy two Bahn Mis since only one doesn’t make me full. Because it’s not filling it rate it a 3.5.

Best pies on the Gold Coast. Great pastry, plenty of fillings, tasty options AND they hold together. Don't mind driving 15 mins just to grab one on the weekend.

I brought a Bacon and Egg pie for $7.50 and I was told it had no cheese in it . It was very much false and had alot of cheese in it . We also got a can of coke , bacon and cheese bread roll,steak and cheese pie and a cream donut . All for $26.00 , So I found it very pricey. I love the pastry on the pies but found the pie abit gravey and steak was good . I was also told this place was the best pies and im sorry but I do not agree . The cream donut saved this place but I wont be back here in a hurry unless its for the cream donut.

I had a similar experience to what a lady wrote a while ago. Young girl with dark hair, was very rude and aggressive in the manner she spoke. I arrived 5 minutes before closing time, she wasn’t listening to the questions I was asking her. Then when I picked a cake, she aggressively told me she couldn’t write on the cake…….it wasn’t something I even requested nor wanted. But she felt the need to tell me. Kind of wish I hadn’t made the effort to drive there and get one - I will not be returning to the store.

Got a few slices of cake. Many choices and affordable. They also provide pound cakes :)

On 14 feb we buy cake from here all strawberry were just off cake taste disgusting and bread so dry and we just took one bite and whole 46 $ cake goes to bin this just spoiled my birthday

As a chef, I am so disappointed on the presentation you used in the store page that is very different on the actual product, I just order this for my girlfriend just now and I am very disappointed.

probably the driest cake i’ve got from any cheesecake shop, ended up getting the marble mud cake was super disappointed when it was cut open, did call up about it and the guy on counter told me to come in and he will give a refund if it proves to be dry however just don’t have time for that and the damage was already done. Will avoid coming here and opt for different franchise of cheesecake shop from now on

The customer service has been appalling. I’ve ordered a cake via email due to living overseas. They were very unhelpful with cake selection. Did not read cake details properly, often asking more than once for the details or quoting me for the incorrect cake theme. They also did not listen when I told them I couldn’t phone to make payment and continued to ask me to call, providing no other options until later in the piece. It’s a shame.

The staff at Mermaid Beach were all extremely helpful with my wedding cake order. They were kind, efficient and prompt to reply to any questions I had via email. They hit the brief perfectly and made our big day all the more special. Would highly recommend this team for all your celebration cake enquiries!

Café / Bakery, located within Ashmore City Shopping Centre. On the corner of Currumburra & Southport - Nerang Roads. Had the Beef and Mushroom Pie, Sausage Roll and a Large Flat White Coffee. The Pie and Coffee were nice and hot and everything was quite tasty. The Service was really good too.

Usually, I get beef pies, but I decided to try spinach and Fetta Roll. It was very tasty and filling.The store is always clean and the service is always excellent. Update 4/12/2003 Walked in to get my pie, and saw they had Santa gingerbread. I asked if they were soft, and was told 'YES'! Anyone who remembers the original soft gingerbread men will understand why I'm happy!

Fast and efficient staff who make a great takeaway coffee. The dining area is small so you need to find off peak times to get a seat otherwise takeaway is your best option. Cakes and savoury food is always fresh and amazing. Highly recommended.

We have had our Grand Children's birthday cakes made by this company, the cakes as you can see from the photos are a work of art. Unfortunately the last one I for got to take a photo of, It was a Unicorn Cake, it was so amazing. They really pay attention to details, the cakes are always fresh, and really well priced, Highly recommend for any occasion. The staff are very helpful and Professional. 2 meat pies and 1 cauliflower and broccoli. All delicious. Nice flaky pastry, not too much. All tasty fillings. $7.50 per pie which I think is steep but that seems to be going rate in gc. Very friendly especially to elderly which I admire. Always cleaning, wiping, keeping shop pristine and hygienic.

Had a lovely little coffee break at this cozy spot. The iced long blacks were refreshing and smooth—perfectly balanced without being too bitter. 5B2F Ciabatta is hands down one of the best cafés I’ve been to! The coffee is always spot on and baked goods and sandwiches are just as amazing! On top of that, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area!

I walked into this place because it looked really nice and the desserts seemed appealing. However, when I placed my order, I immediately noticed the poor attitude of the staff member attending me. I asked for my coffee not too hot, but it was made extra hot. I also asked if it was possible to warm up the croissant they said yes, but only slightly microwaved it. Honestly, I was expecting much more from this place, and the staff’s attitude was quite disappointing.

This is hands down my favourite bakery on the Gold Coast, and I was so happy when they opened one in Chinatown Southport as it's close to my home. Their pies and pastries are always spot on. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service during a recent visit. I ordered a takeaway coffee, and while it was being made, a regular customer came in. The staff handed the coffee that she was making earlier to the regular instead, even though I had ordered first. Quite disappointing. Perhaps this happened because she was a regular and a local. Either way, it wasn't the experience I expected from a bakery I like very much.

I returned to the shop to pick up a cake I had purchased earlier. When the female staff member saw me at the entrance, she said, “Wait a sec, just stay there.” The way she spoke felt quite rude and unprofessional. I understand if she was busy, but a more polite and respectful tone would have made the experience much better. I hope the staff can improve their communication with customers in the future.

Got a couple of date scones, as we were leaving we noticed a large blow fly resting in the cabinet next to where the scones were. Handed them back and told them we couldn't even think of eating them after seeing that

Today I went to purchase some baked goods, and as I was retrieving my wallet to pay, we noticed that the girl working scanned her own membership card for the purchase, thereby claiming the points I should’ve rightfully earned. Seriously unprofessional and shocking

June 2023. We were so tired of the loaves being burnt so only went to the Bakers delight at the Q centre - they have consistently golden loaves, not burnt. A few weeks ago the Oasis store lifted their game and we bought a few loaves again but they are back to burnt again - very disappointing

I was looking forward to having a Berry white choc scone for weeks now. 😫 it is the smallest thing I have seen and trying so hard to find berries or chocolate. Very disappointing. Won't be going back there ever.

Below average quality. Purchased a chocolate croissant and danish lattice. The danish was burnt under. The chocolate croissant was not fresh. At least a day old. Don’t recommend.
