QT Gold Coast, located in the vibrant Surfers Paradise, offers a unique blend of modern luxury and nostalgic charm. The hotel features colorful rooms and suites with designer furnishings, providing ocean, mountain or river views. Guests can enjoy two restaurants, a cafe and a luxurious spa on-site. The property exudes subtle style and is perfect for couples and singles seeking a quiet retreat.
This is a stunning hotel with literally everything at your doorstep. The pool area is amazing and so relaxing and the room itself is really clean and spacious. I’ve never slept so well - the QT mattresses are like nothing else! We utilised literally everything the hotel had to offer, including dining at both Stingray and Yamagen (which was incredible) as well as having the Halloween high tea which was really fun and a couples session at the day spa. This was so, so relaxing and a lovely way to spend our Sunday afternoon. We came here for my birthday and the hotel staff who went out of their way to make it very special. Can’t wait to be back

We love QT at Surfers Paradise. It's in a great location and the rooms are a great size. The king beds are so comfortable that we want to buy one ourselves. The breakfast is amongst the best buffets I've had. The food and service is always great. A lovely manager even gave us credit to make up for some renovations occurring and we didn't pay a thing for food and drinks for our 3 night stay! We will be back.
Real P — Google review
Literally have had the most beautiful weekend at the QT! Don’t worry about the pool being closed as the pool next door is lovely, plus you’re 2 minutes walk from the beach! We had a 2 night stay we did 1 night in a cabin 1 night in an ocean view room, The cabins are absolutely amazing they have thought of every detail for a stay to remember, the walk in, you pass the most magical little seating area with a fireplace in the middle to go to your very private cabin, it’s surrounded by greenery and the sounds of birds, with a little swinging egg chair and some extra table & chairs to relax on, the bed is so cosy and the window beside bed you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset, they supply T2 tea bags, and raw treats which include snicker flavour triangles bites, jammie dodger biscuits and salted I think sweet potato chips, which can be refilled on request which is included in your stay! We had a cheese board each night with drinks, so good and all the little touches are well thought out, at night we came home to some fresh herbal tea and a little chocolate such a sweet gesture! I’ll try post pics The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for you they are all very friendly and welcoming they had given us some jigsaw chocolate complimentary and I rang to request to buy some to bring home to our kids which they gave us complimentary too! Our ocean view room had the most beautiful view with a little day bed to enjoy the sunrise in the morning and beautiful pinks sky at night the rooms are very fresh and cosy all the bedding in each room was so comfortable and the bonus of having a Dyson hair dryer in the rooms plus good quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The balcony in our room was closed because of maintenance they are doing to the pool/hotel but didn’t make a difference to our stay as we could still enjoy the view from the comfort of our room I’m not sure this applies to all rooms as I did see some people out on their balcony when on a lower level. We used the gym while we where there, there is enough equipment to get a good work out in plus they provide towels and filtered water We booked in the yamagen japanese for the sushi making experience, it went for an hour and we got to make 4 large sushi rolls cut into four pieces it was actually so good! We got to eat the sushi and my husband had the whisky too he said it was great, The staff at the QT made this weekend so relaxing, they cannot do enough for you, this hotel has everything you need, we went to stingray to watch the lions game they have big screens and a good atmosphere, We didn’t get to try the spa but will be back again soon and will defs give it a go! The hotel is 5 minutes walk to surfers where you have lots of restaurants to choose from and plenty for the kids to do, location is very central but far enough away to be nice a quiet at night, the tram is a 3 minute walk. All in all had a great stay and will 100% be back with the kids the next time,

We had an enjoyable stay overall. Breakfast buffet pretty good. Staff were very friendly. We were very disappointed that the pool area was out of action the whole time (3 nights & still off limits) and were only told about this upon checking in. We did have use of the pool at the hotel over the road (see pic) which was lovely but not the same as relaxing on the premises here. We were woken early (6am) with building/construction works down near the hotel entrance (we were on floor 6). One of the main eateries was also closed for refurbishment. Balconies off limits too. We’re thankful for free breakfast buffet for our stay plus $100 room credit to compensate. But honestly if we knew about all this earlier we would have booked elsewhere. Room was great and beds super comfortable. Housekeeping was hit & miss. I imagine it would be a lovely place to stay after all the refurbishment/construction has finished.

Wonderful Hotel. We stayed for 5 nights from 16th Oct. All staff we encountered were exceptional, welcoming, helpful, accomodating and friendly. They made our stay most enjoyable. Im a true believer, if you make the effort to interreact nicely with staff, you will get the best in return. No one disappointed. Our Ocean View King Room was great, very comfortable bed, spaceous large room. Buffet breakfasts, good range, with cook to order omelettes (just ask) and the best pastries each day. (hotel has its own pastry chefs) Yamagem Japanese was brillant, the set menu high quality, 5 star service as well. A must visit. Stingray bar, cool fun vibe, eat one night, perfectly cooked steak, calamari and crinkle cut fries. Faultless. Reasonable prices. The hotels 4 lifts made floor access very quick. Never needed to wait more than 9 seconds ( yes I timed them ! ) 200m from light rail, beach a stones though away. ( I recommend get the Airport express bus 777 outside airport door, goes direct to Broadbeach South, then walk straight onto light rail to Cypress Ave Stop) 50 cents all the way, tap on/off with a credit card, way better than Uber. No timetable needed, plenty of services. Overall, the hotel felt like home, and thats all one can ask, for an enjoyable memorable stay.

I was fortunate to win a trip that had the QT as the accommodation. The staff were so welcoming on all levels, the best service I have experienced in my life. The food was exceptional and the king suite room was amazing, we loved the bed so much that we now want one. I highly recommend this place especially if you want your experience to be welcoming and comfortable. We didn't want to leave and look forward to coming back with our babies to experience this beautiful place.
Shontelle P — Google review
We had such a lovely Halloween experience at QT Hotel! The food was delicious, and the chefs and staff worked beautifully together, bringing each dish and explaining all the sweets and treats in detail. Everything was so tasty and beautifully presented. Amazing customer service and a fantastic ambience — truly a memorable experience!
Anca R — Google review
We came here for a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, the pool is out of action however the staff are very lovely and accommodating. In general the room was very lush and the hotel is really nice. The alternative pool facilities were excellent. I would avoid room service as it was very expensive and not very good. We ordered roast chicken but it came deep-fried. The staff here are excellent and dealt with all the difficulties incredibly well. The breakfast buffet was good but not as good as when it is in its permanent location.

The Langham Gold Coast is a luxurious beachfront hotel with a range of amenities including restaurants, a beachfront cafe, and a spa. The hotel offers both indoor and outdoor pools for guests to enjoy. Akoya, the casual dining spot within the hotel, provides a fantastic buffet breakfast with stunning views of the coast. Guests can also visit Tang Court during their stay. The contemporary rooms offer unobstructed ocean views and excellent breakfast options including live stations and coffee.
Just had the most amazing week at Langham Gold Coast. From the arrival to the friendliness of the staff everything was incredible. We spent our days by the pool which had an amazing bar and food menu and staff which were so accommodating of all of our needs. It was so nice being right on the beach we could alternate from cooling off in the pool to the ocean. Both pools and the spa were immaculate no matter what time we visited the facilities. I finished off our trip with the most amazing spa experience I have ever had. Charlie was absolutely amazing and the iKOU products were divine. Emma and the spa team were incredible, it truly is a world class spa experience.
Nicole B — Google review
The Langham Gold Coast has all the ingredients to be a true luxury destination — the setting, the facilities, the name. But right now, the service simply does not measure up. We have stayed at many five-star hotels in Australia, and sadly this experience did not compare. Hearing other guests at the pool comment, “It’s not like we’re at the Ibis”, really summed up the feeling that expectations weren’t being met. For families, the comfort and views may still make this an option, but unless service standards and attention to detail improve, it’s difficult to recommend The Langham Gold Coast as a five-star luxury holiday Cons: • Housekeeping: Cleaning was consistently late, often not arriving until after 5:00pm, which made it difficult to manage around young children. For those staying in the residences, note that these are treated more like serviced apartments — room service and cleaning are only provided every second day. • Service: Across the board, service felt slow and disorganized. At the pool, it took around 30 minutes to be served at the bar, and when food arrived it was cold with missing items. On arrival, despite traveling with three children and luggage, there was no bell service available to help us. • Pool area: The pool loses sun by midday, which is worth noting if you’re expecting long sunny afternoons. The pool itself also could have been better maintained; almost every morning we noticed bandaids and hair ties in or around the water, which was disappointing. • Room issues: One of our bedroom windows would not close properly, making the room very noisy at night Pros: • Beautiful views from the rooms and balconies. • Convenient location for both Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.. • The breakfast buffet was generous and enjoyable
Angela M — Google review
We stayed at the Langham recently and it is such a beautiful hotel. The hotel is very clean and luxurious which I loved being someone who doesn’t often treat myself to beautiful stays. The pool area was amazing, I really loved the layout however I did note other guests would set up a spot for the whole day and would come and go throughout the day… at times their belongings would be on the seats for 3 hours at a time whilst they were out and about. It made it hard to get a spot at times. I think it would be great for staff to monitor this. The service was mostly good especially at the buffet breakfast, they were so so lovely. The receptionist area service was mostly okay. Our tag wouldn’t work on day 3 and we went to reception where three young ladies were standing each at a desk and we waited 5-10 seconds before we were acknowledged. It gave us the feeling none of them wanted to be the ones to serve us. The rooms were clean and very beautiful. The air con didn’t have a vent in the bedrooms so we had to blast the air con and leave the door open however other than this, we loved the decor and cleanliness. The facilities are all fantastic, I couldn’t fault them. Thank you for a beautiful stay and we will certainly be back.
Shelly S — Google review
We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special mention to Ilija, the waiter at the pool — he was absolutely amazing! So kind, attentive, and made every moment by the pool feel special. His service truly stood out and made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!
Tatiana C — Google review
I love staying with Langham so I was excited to try The Langham Gold Coast. From the moment I arrived, the service was genuinely welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The pool area is gorgeous, with plenty of seating and easy beach access, but the water was a bit cold for my liking. The spa massage was very good and the breakfast buffet had an impressive variety. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond, making the whole experience memorable.
Nicky F — Google review
We recently stayed at the Langham Gold Coast and found it to be an outstanding experience and I would highly recommend. The service was faultless, very attentive. The hotel itself is stunning, very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the Junior Ocean Suite and it was beautiful, with a stunning unrestricted view of the ocean. The room is a very good size, bathroom beautiful with large bath. The room service menu is extensive and room service very prompt. The buffet breakfast would have to be the best I have had, very rarely can you find an outstanding buffet with fresh food and lots of options. The indoor pool and gym is lovely as well as the outdoor pool and access to the beach. We also had a couples massage at Chaun spa which is beautiful and massage was perfect. It’s in an amazing location with nothing to fault. Highly recommend.
Alana — Google review
I really enjoyed my stay at the Langham. We spent most of our time at the pool. Tino and Lance at the pool were so helpful and had great customer service skills. Tino gave us fresh towels and lance brought out our food so efficiently. Definitely recommend.
Rayanne A — Google review
Finally Australia is stepping up with nice hotels and great service. The Langham is very classy, well managed hotel. Staff is great and responsive, restaurants are high standard with yummy food. Location is quiet, away from buzzing Surfers Paradise, at the same time walking distance to all the cool places.

Bumbles Café is a charming spot located in the heart of Budds Beach, just a short walk from Surfers Paradise. The café offers a unique and friendly ambiance with outdoor seating, vibrant decor, and art adorning the walls. It's known for its modern Australian cuisine and comforting breakfast options that include delicious sourdough breads, jams, and honey sourced locally.
One of the best coffees I have ever had! We came here after being recommended by hotel concierge. The staff were delightful and so helpful. Food was absolutely delicious to the extent we booked again for the next day. Couldn’t recommend more. Great food, coffee, staff, and atmosphere. Super quirky and aesthetic vibes.
Mayson — Google review
I was excited to come here and look for a nice coffee shop around the area where I currently live and enjoy my Sunday morning. I also came because a friend recommended this place. Unfortunately, I got a little disappointed. The photos showed a nice environment and very tasty-looking food. The coffee was good. I had the toasted Turkish ham and cheese, which was quite nice — nicely toasted. I might suggest serving it on a slightly bigger plate, though. However, I was really disappointed with the Lobster Roll. It was super greasy and I could barely taste the lobster flavor. It was quite small — just three or four bites and I was done. There was hardly any lettuce, and the little sauce it had didn’t add any flavor at all. I was planning to get dessert afterwards; however, the food left me a bit disappointed. It also took around 30 minutes for the food to come out. The service was pretty average. I was so disappointed, I didn't even was bother to take any more photos.
Karine S — Google review
Someone’s review said the prawn sandwich was the best they’ve ever had in their life and I wouldn’t argue Against it. Super quick service as always and a delicious iced vanilla latte always go down a troit. Only thing that would make it even better is if they had white chocolate syrup to go in the lattes

Almost didn’t go to Bumbles because of the negative reviews - So glad we gave it a go. Great food, Great Coffee, friendly attentive service. So many interesting decorated rooms and spaces to eat in. Nice outdoor area with water views. Will definitely be back……..

Came here after reading some great reviews, but unfortunately didn’t have the same experience. I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs and was really let down—the strong vinegary taste completely overpowered the dish and ruined it for me. Coming from Melbourne, I didn’t think it was possible to mess up chilli scrambled eggs, but here we are. Coffee was just okay, nothing memorable. That said, the location is lovely and has a nice vibe, but sadly the food didn’t live up to the hype.

Hidden gem! I had a slice of cake (can’t remember what it was, but it was delicious) and the coffee was great too. Also a really good spot to work from — cozy vibe and plenty of space. I’ll definitely be back!

We had an early Mother’s Day lunch on Saturday and it’s was delicious. The venue is so quant and every room has its own unique style. My 92 year old Italian father in law was very impressed his lasagna. The prawn sandwich was delicious and the ragu went down a treat. Thank for a great lunch

Located within the JW Marriot Resort & Spa in Surfers Paradise, Chapter & Verse Bar and Lounge offers a relaxing and luxurious high tea experience. The venue features comfortable seating with views of tropical gardens and the pool, creating a holiday-like atmosphere. The menu emphasizes local produce, offering a variety of savory and sweet options such as Witches Chase cheeses, Bangalow Pork sandwiches, seasonal berry macaroons, and an assortment of teas and coffees.
Went to have a late lunch as our room for checking in wasn’t ready yet at the hotel, and this turned out to be a delightful little surprise. We walked in without a prior reservation and were greeted warmly by Karen, who gave us a pleasant service start to finish. The menu isn’t very extensive but is a good mix of light bites and substantial bar eats. We had the chicken baos, calamari and 2 beers. Portions were pretty good and the dishes were good. We enjoyed some lovely relaxing views overlooking the pool and dropped by again in the evening for some drinks. The vibes were pleasant and service again was warm and friendly, despite there being a bigger event group on site. Thank you team C&V for a great start to our holiday.

Brilliant service and facilities. The hotel is really stunning, and the restaurant, bar and pool are really lovely. So nice to be on the beachfront as well. The bar has amazing cocktails, delicious food and really good service. The breakfast is fantastic, such a good range of different foods. The staff are so friendly! We had some issues with the cleaning staff not servicing our room the first night we were there, but this was resolved with the staff at the front desk. We really enjoyed our stay otherwise and will be happy to stay again!

It’s a 4 star hotel, possibly it was 5 star long time ago, currently lots of area is under construction 🦺 🚧 so the garden and backyard is not looking pretty, and there was no warning about it during the booking process (not transparent practice sets disappointments for guests). Property itself is older looking inside the rooms too. Blanket had a few old looking stains. Isolation is old and not reliable as you can hear noises from bikes 🏍️ and cars passing by on the main road + the mattress was a soft type = my sleep was poor. Phone in the room doesn’t work to call 📞 (must be their strategic decision but not 5 star). Breakfast was ok, not much for vegetarians or vegans 🌱 though, but no barrister coffee and no alternative milk or signs 🪧 about dairy free yogurts etc, reminds you being at 4 star hotel again. Machine coffee was not tasty at all. Staff are kind and friendly but you feel they’re under pressure as there is not enough of them, when you’re waiting 15min in a queue for breakfast (while you can see many tables are empty). It’s possibly a good option for families with kids as they seemed to have fun at the pool. For couples, it’s a strange option, as it’s not romantic, costs like 5 star but in reality feels like a budget option. Good things: * Location is great, right on the beach 🏖️ and is the main benefit. Otherwise, value for money is low. * They gave us a free glass of champagne on arrival. * In-room dining was late by 1hr but it was on them too.

Came to this hotel for a week long work event. The staff were helpful. Food for the conference was okay & buffet breakfast was brilliant. The hotel is very dated and unfortunately my room was not very clean. They were also renovating the lagoons so the view of the pools and feeling of a luxury resort was gone. Also in the Pandanus room in one of bathrooms there was rat droppings on the sink bench. Bit of a mixed experience here unfortunately.

Great hotel (not a high rise which I hate), room was comfortable on ground floor with chairs and table outside, spacious wardrobe, kettle, fridge etc. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner and a good drinks and snack bar near pool. Service was excellent as was the food. There is a path along the cliff top for walks but beach access was difficult when we were there (early September) although children were happily sliding down the sandy cliff face to the beach. I presume they are in the process of building steps down. Very relaxing enjoyable stay with efficient friendly staff.

What a great hotel. It's got a great entrance as you walk through and see the huge glass windows looking over the Tasman Sea. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Lots of cupboards and drawers which I love and also a big bathroom which a huge spa bath / shower. The pool area is right by the ocean so you can dip in the pool or the sea. We love the walkway along the beach too! You can walk down and grab a coffee on your morning walk. A really great spot and we'll be back!

I surprised my partner with a trip to stay at Sheraton Grand Mirage with the intention to propose to her. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was spectacular. I was introduced to Lauren (manager) to discuss my plan to propose to my partner at a beautiful location at the resort and they were super accommodating. I pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the resort was and even more blown away by the generosity of the staff. Definitely recommend staying here and will definitely return again. By far the best hotel/resort experience we’ve ever had.

A little further out from the chaos of Surfers, which honestly was perfect, but close to all the great Main Beach cafés and restaurants (and the bus into town is super easy). The staff were absolute gems! Friendly, chatty, and full of good vibes. A couple of pool waiters could dial up the enthusiasm a notch, but everyone else was next-level lovely. We even bumped into the manager on our way out, a total legend, funny as anything. Would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone who likes a mix of laid-back luxury and genuine hospitality.

Videre Restaurant High Tea offers a unique and elegant take on the classic afternoon tea experience. Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise with stunning views of the iconic Surfers Paradise Beach, this high tea buffet presents a beautiful array of sweet and savory items to choose from. The atmosphere is described as lavish, with vaulted ceilings and chandeliers adding to the overall ambiance.
Best High Tea on the Gold Coast 5/5! The seasonal menus are always so exciting and carefully crafted to complement each season. The service is phenomenal with the chef, explaining their menu choices at your table and you can see and taste the passion in their work. The coffee, tea and sparkling are all delicious and you can be dazzled by the 21st floor views of the Royal Pines Golf Course and Gold Coast skyline. This is THE venue for baby showers, bridal showers, Mother’s Day etc. get in early as major holidays they are booked out. Pricing is worth every cent, and you’re guaranteed to walk out very satisfied!

had a wonderful time dining here! The food was fantastic, and we didn’t have to wait too long. The service was also excellent. The staff were always available when needed but managed to be attentive without being intrusive. While the table was a bit small, it was still manageable. The view was nice, but it was quite dark outside😂 Recommendation:seafood dish

I attended an event at Videre and enjoyed a high tea which I found to be quite impressive considering the reasonable price. Unlimited tea was a great inclusion and three varieties of scones most generous. The pretty, delicate desserts were probably a little too sweet (and I’m a sweet tooth!) but the savouries were outstanding and definitely on the fancy side. The location and view were incredibly serene also. Perfect venue and atmosphere for a baby shower
Foodie M — Google review
I’ve been here a number of times, the food is always amazing, so when it came to choosing a venue for my baby shower, I knew Videre was the one! Myself and guests had an amazing day, it was stress free and the staff are so friendly and helpful, it made planning the day easy. We had a number of dietary requirements which were completely catered for! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! So thank you Videre, we can’t wait to come back!

Three of my friends and I came here for a lovely high tea and it was so wonderful :) The food was delicious and worth every cent, but the tea was my favourite part! So delicious. Massive thanks to Mitch, Kristy, and Rachel for being the loveliest hosts in the world, you were all so kind and made the experience what is was!

I booked this place for a Hens celebration and it did not disappoint! Videre has set the bar high when it comes to high teas, from the food, the atmosphere and the customer service! I had a friend who was vegan and they catered to her perfectly! The chef was amazing, she took the time to come out and explain everything that was on the menu. You won’t find boring sandwiches here like you do in other places, food was unique and inspired by indigenous flavours. Price was very reasonable. Would recommend!!!

Oh such a hidden gem, 15 minutes from Surfers. One of the best high teas we’ve experienced. We arrived 1 hour early and host was adorable, accomodating and so very helpful. We had a gorgeous window seat and the food was substantial. The cocktails outstanding. Highly Highly recommend. Will be back again and again!

It was good experience at there. Normally we go to panorama lounge for Hight tea while school holiday. But 21st floor is good view and little more luxury feeling . View and services was amazing. We went to hotel for beautiful foods and practice table manners for my son. My son spread coffee at beginning . because it was first time to get coffee with pot. (We normally use drip coffee or coffee pad machine at home ) he didn’t know when is ok to push coffee press pot. Tea cups were very lovely. There are many teas and , every foods are beautiful and very carefully made. We liked blue berry tart and 4 chocolates cake and I liked small black bread with shrimp ,my son liked rolled sandwich too. Some cake made from not familiar flowers and it was interesting. Thank you for looking after us today.

The menu features an array of savory dishes like wagyu beef and sweet potato, as well as delectable sweet treats such as scones and dark chocolate beetroot brownies. Reservations can be made online with 24 hours notice. The venue provides a peaceful oasis for gatherings with friends or business meetings, boasting attentive service and an excellent menu.
Went there for a light snack and coffee. Great layout, atmosphere, service and food. Service was quick and prompt. Food was good, we asked to share a meal and instead of putting the salad out and giving us 2 plates, they actually replated the salad into 2 for us, nice touch. The layout of the restaurant was spacious, airy and relaxing. Cakes also amazing.

lovely, relaxing atmosphere. High quality and presentation of the food, particularly dishes like Eggs Benedict , avocado toast and various brunch items. The venue is suitable for functions and weddings, and the private library room is a nice addition

While staff member Reggie is excellent, this place has gone massively downhill (go somewhere else, Reggie!). Soup was average with big chunks of fatty and gristle-filled ham. Dog at neighbouring table was allowed to flap its tail in my face as I tried to eat said soup. Food was also average on our previous visit but still better than this time. With such a breadth of cafes and restaurants, there is no reason to give this place your business even if shopping here; the coffee too was above average but nothing special. Such a shame! This place was always a highlight. Time to find somewhere literally anywhere else. EDIT: Did not appreciate the tone of the owner with my son mentioning she had seen this review, I overheard as was on my phone nearby.

What a lovely place Green days Restaurant is for lunch. Went there recently friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home. I had the Soup of the day which was Cauliflower with Sourdough bread what a great choice for me. I loved it. I also had a nice pot of English Breakfast Tea just to my liking. My Granddaughter from the Children's menu had Chicken Nuggets and chips which was very nice to. I would recommend a visit well worth it if you are in the area.

Nestled within the vibrant HOTA, Home of the Arts, Palette Restaurant is a culinary gem that has been captivating diners since its inception in 2021. This fine dining establishment not only tantalizes taste buds but also delights the eyes with artfully presented dishes inspired by Indigenous Australian ingredients.
This was my 3rd dining visit to Palette, one being a high tea. Both dinners, were absolutely outstanding in all categories and I couldn't recommend Palette more. All staff are highly professional, welcoming & actually remembered my previous visit, which is a lovely touch. Shout out to our beautiful waitress from Chile and James whose enthusiasm and knowledge of each meal is second to none 👌😊 Thnxyou for introducing yourself, both my husband (also James & first time here) & myself (salt shaker lady 😅) will be back. 10/10

Food is outstanding, good cooking skill, good ingredients, creative menu. We have set dinner, 2 course with 1 glass of wine, $80 per person barramundi fish was cooked perfectly with pickle carrots 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5 out of 5 stars. cheese toast with sour dough bread with few different cheeses, it was delicious. Dessert was good too, sweetness was just right. They are allergy friendly restaurant and will try their best to accommodate your needs. Good service and friendly staff. We enjoy the dinner and will definitely try their signature “Testing Menu” next time.

Had a fabulous pre show dinner here. It is in a modern and sculptural area, it has a lovely atmosphere. The food was 10/10! I had the fish, which was cooked excellently and very flavourful. The chicken dish was savory and hearty. Our cheese toasty dessert was buttery and crunchy and we finished off with a beautiful and fresh mango and raspberry number. Would definitely come back!

From the moment we walked in, this restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance was warm, stylish, and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Every detail—from the lighting to the table presentation—was thoughtfully curated and added to the overall charm. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish showcasing a level of creativity and innovation that went far beyond the ordinary. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the presentation was nothing short of artful. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in pushing culinary boundaries while maintaining impeccable taste. The staff were friendly, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the meal. Overall, this restaurant is a gem—a perfect blend of imaginative cuisine, outstanding service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable and elevated dining experience.

Unforgettable, and unmissable. We're from Melbourne and would easily fly up here just for a meal. Everything from the warm, friendly, fun service; to the amazing food, to the superb wine pairing, to the literal art on a plate, this is a must-try! Deserves all of the three chef hats, and for AU$150 (excl. wine) you'd be hard pressed to find any fine dining restaurant in the world that has prices like this. Also, shout out to Faith, she's our fave, so fun and infectious.
Leonard K — Google review
First time here and we were very impressed. The service was excellent from start to finish with professional friendly staff. For entrees we had the pork and cauliflower. The pork was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy and bursting with well balanced flavour. The cauliflower was complex and worth consuming slowly to take in the different flavours. For mains we had barramundi and wagyu. The barramundi was perfectly cooked and tasty, The wagyu was apparently cooked on the Hibachi and it was the standout dish. Paired with crispy potatoes and salad with premium olive oil it came pre-sliced so no cutting was required, and made it a pleasant eating experience. It didn’t taste fatty with the marbling simply adding to the flavour. This is a dish worthy of awards. The only disappointment was the side of mash potatoes. It came in a pool of liquid butter but even taking spoonfuls from the top the balance was wrong - too rich. Overall if you are seeing a show at HOTA plan dinner here first and you won’t be disappointed.

Came here for lunch with a smaller group. Greeting was welcoming. Staff were very informative & friendly. Comfortable table seating inside with lovely surroundings. We chose a la carte & my Bangalow pork was amazing - so succulent without the ‘crackling’ being too hard, chewy or salty. Paris mash & sugarloaf cabbage were equally excellent. The cocktail menu was rather unusual & I wasn’t a fan of what I ordered but just personal taste. Will be back.

Outstanding food and service 😋 We had the $100pp tasting menu, which was extremely good value and a beautiful journey thru the menu. Staff were attentive and friendly and well-versed in all the plates and genuinely passionate about the food. The whole experience was surprise and delight as each dish arrived. I thought the roo carpaccio was hard to beat, but then the cuttlefish made me want to lick the bowl!! I highly recommend you eat here, you won't regret it!!

The Imperial Hotel Gold Coast is a luxurious waterfront lodging that offers a top-notch hotel experience with stunning architecture and lavish accommodations. The hotel features Italian craftsmanship, award-winning restaurants, a fitness & wellness center, and a private marina. With its massive pool, well-equipped gym, and spa, the hotel provides ample opportunities for relaxation. Inspired by Italian design and Versace's signature style, this Main Beach hotel also offers views of the marina and lush gardens.
Rating the high tea lunch service. We sat in just to rear of the foyer in the lounge area. We had two round, cusioned chairs and a double seated lounge. A staff attended to us right away, so we ordered as we knew what we wanted. Food and drinks came oit fast, but we did seem to be the only ones there during what looked like a busy convention down the other end of the foyer. All the little savoury and sweet delights were delishous, we had the $69 high tea and some cocktails. There was a piano playing the entire time, it was a lovely and relaxing atmosphere, we were able to sit and catch up, which is always hard to do sometimes in a restauruant that is all jammed in together and too loud. No kids running around was great too. We could have easily sat there for a few more hours. We did have staff come and check if we needed more drinks. Shame we had to drive. I highly approve going for lunch and having a high tea, I've tried many of the high teas across the GC and this is by far one of my favourites.

I am writing to express my disappointment following our recent stay at your hotel. My partner and I have stayed at the Imperial many times over the years — from single rooms to penthouses — and we have always appreciated the comfort, quality, and service that set your hotel apart. Unfortunately, our most recent visit in a Lagoon Suite was our worst experience to date. We were informed by staff that there were known issues with the room, which makes it even more disappointing that we were allocated it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the suite was not up to the standard we’ve come to expect. The toilet did not flush properly, several lamp shades were missing, and others were crooked or damaged. The couch was broken, and the bed was so worn and unsupportive that both my partner and I have since required multiple massages to ease the back pain we developed during our stay. This was meant to be a relaxing experience, but instead it was stressful and uncomfortable. Additionally, I could not shake the feeling that I was being unfairly judged during our stay — particularly because of my dreadlocks — which only added to the sense of unease and disappointment. We have always spoken highly of the Imperial Hotel and recommended it to friends and family, but this experience has left us questioning that loyalty. I would appreciate an explanation as to why we were placed in a room with known problems, and what steps the hotel can take to address this situation
Hemp C — Google review
The hotel still got it’s charm. Very classy lobby area, I just wish there were refreshments on arrival to match the grand entrance. Additional check-in staff would be greatly appreciated. There was only one when we arrived which took a while. A bit of struggle specially when traveling with kids. Rooms were spacious and location is easily accessible. Breakfast staff, mostly Asian were all very attentive and provided great assistance. Had a great stay overall! ❤️
Char L — Google review
It’s an interesting hotel as you can see how opulent it would’ve been in the 2000s and early 2010s with the Versace branding and clout and celebrity visits. But the rebrand and withdrawal of a lot of funding has made it go downhill, it would be very expensive to run a hotel of that size especially in Australia and corners have been cut and experience reduced as it’s just a slightly upmarket hotel now with dated and worn furniture and interior and exterior paint that’s very 2000s. Without the name and prestige it’s just a dated ‘luxury’ hotel that can’t provide the level of five star service it used to and can’t afford to replace and upgrade as the hotel is massive. It doesn’t have the historical significance at the moment to be a Raffles so it’s sort of stuck being a a worn and unloved version of its former self with reduced service and menu alongside the unused rolls Royce out the front, antique chandelier and beautiful flooring and pool. It’s interesting to see the opulent architectural features but for $300 you can have a better location and furniture and plumbing elsewhere. Also with the Marina Mirage shopping centre also a shadow of its former self and being demolished for a luxury hotel, there aren’t really places to eat where there were restaurants, cafes, supermarket and McDonald’s before right next door. The location is far from the new upmarket hub of modern eateries and breweries at Broadbeach and isn’t near the beach and public transport. In the past it had multiple restaurants and a shopping centre next door but now it’s kind of isolated. You’d get better value and a more luxury experience staying in Broadbeach in Peppers or similar next to the lightrail and options of buzzing restaurants or upmarket Mamasan and fine dining around the Star Casino and Pacific Fair shopping centre. The Imperial’s location is marooned and isolated away from the hub now if you have money it makes more sense to stay closer to that area and have a nicer hotel as there isn’t anything around the Imperial anymore and not much dining. The pool is beautiful and Italian theme is unique but doesn’t justify the price now unless you want to uber all the time to Broadbeach or stick to a limited menu. I wonder how this hotel will do when a newer more luxurious one will be built on the Marina Mirage site next door.

I’m from Brisbane and have stayed here numerous times, but this review is all about the continental breakfast — it’s absolutely worth the drive! The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I drove all the way from Brisbane just for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. About 40 minutes before breakfast ended, I asked a staff member if they could whip more cream. He was so kind and offered to do it, even though it would take 15 minutes. I declined, but really appreciated the gesture — that’s great service. Just one small suggestion: please keep a bit more whipped cream on hand!

Awesome Luxury experience with a great package deal including daily buffet breakfast, $50 daily dining credit, welcome drink and late checkout in a Lagoon King room with spa. Food was great (at Il Barocco restaurant and Le Jardin bar), bedding was super comfortable, entertainment (Cassidy Wilson, pianist and singer) was fabulous, overall vibe was high class. It is in a quiet area with a marina nearby with restaurants or walk 15-20 minutes to Tedder Avenue for other dining options (and divine gelato at Rose Gelataria). Convenient location with bus stop across the road and for less than a dollar you can travel to Pacific Fair, Broadbeach or Harbourtown for shopping and food. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away behind the Sheraton across the road, where it is also perfect for a morning walk by the beach. The pool was wonderful with a segregated area for adults only and the sun lounges were very comfy. Section in the middle of the pool area for the kids to play in the sand. Overall the experience was wonderful and highly recommended. Will be back!

My recent experience at the Imperial Hotel in the Deluxe Suite was truly remarkable. Upon entering the suite, I was immediately struck by its elegant design and luxurious atmosphere. The spacious living area, beautifully decorated, provided a perfect space for relaxation, enhanced by stunning views from the large windows. The king-sized bed offered exceptional comfort, and the marble bathroom, featuring a soaking tub and premium amenities, added to the rejuvenating experience. With impeccable service and a delightful dining experience at the hotel's restaurant, I highly recommend the Deluxe Suite for anyone looking for an unforgettable luxury getaway.

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, an IHG Hotel, is a luxurious retreat nestled in 4.2 hectares of tropical gardens and a serene marina community on the Northern end of the Gold Coast. The resort offers chic rooms and suites, a golf course, and a one-acre-long Lagoon Beach with palm trees and poolside dining at the Lagoon Beach Club. Families can enjoy the beach lagoon pool with inflatable toys, sea scooters, and a Family Fun Zone.
Sanctuary Cove has been part of our story for over 30 years. We first came here in 1995 to be married — our reception was held at The Fireplace Restaurant — and we’ve been returning ever since. Over the years, we’ve watched the resort evolve beautifully. The grounds are more stunning than ever, the amenities have grown with care, and the atmosphere remains perfectly balanced between relaxed and refined. When we returned recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary, it felt like coming home. The staff were outstanding — warm, professional, and genuinely happy to make our stay memorable. Dining again at The Fireplace was incredibly special; sitting in the same place where we celebrated our wedding all those years ago brought back so many wonderful memories. Sanctuary Cove continues to be world-class in every way, but for us, it’s more than that — it’s a place filled with heart, history, and the feeling of belonging.

Was luckily enough to have stayed here for work but was unfortunately too busy to be able to enjoy all the facilities. Stayed in a king room which was spacious but shaped funny, so the tv was at a weird angle with the bed. Buffet breakfast was $50 but there was a huge range of food items including the staples plus diy juice maker, açai bowls and omelettes made to order.

A Home Away from Home, QLD-Style! As a Sydney-sider who normally runs at a frantic pace, the InterContinental QLD staff forced me to stop, relax, and operate purely on 'Queensland time'—and I am so grateful they did! This hotel isn't just a luxury stay; it has a beautiful, genuine community vibe. From the moment we hit the breakfast area after the first night, we were family. The absolute dream team of Veronica, Sophie, Jube, and Trisha knew us by name, always greeted us with a warm chat, and cleared our plates before we even had a chance to wonder where to put them. And the coffee! Evylin is the barista you wish you could smuggle home. Her personalised coffee orders were always perfect. The breakfast experience was topped off by Chef Quintin, who handled my 'difficult' egg requests like a champ—and by day two, he remembered the order and my name. What a way to start every morning! The entire staff, from Sam at the front desk, breakfast crew to the Pool Lagoon, is willing to go above and beyond to help. If you're looking for world-class service combined with a warm, home-away-from-home feeling, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We were quite disappointed with our stay. It seems there are not enough staff which required queuing and waiting….,check in and check out both very slow. We took our own bags to and from the room as there was no one around to help. Waiting for a table at breakfast was another 15 minute wait. Pool towels were never stocked requiring another wait while staff went to find some. The staff were all very pleasant but the overall service was write poor. I was also disappointed there seemed to be no way for the concierge to arrange a game of golf. I managed to organise one myself with a little bit of effort

Stayed last weekend and had a genuinely perfect stay. Room with a lovely view of the marina, lagoon, pool and kangaroos. Was greeted on arrival by friendly Concierge, offered sparkling wine while waiting to check-in, transferred to the tennis courts in a luxury shuttle bus, and received excellent service at The Fireplace for dinner. Every interaction with the staff was met with enthusiasm. Highly recommend for a weekend away.

We love and would recommended our stay here. Coming during the weekday so we feel like we have the resort ourselves. Full of kangaroos. Services brilliant. Facility awesome. Drink at the pool bar is very nice! The verandah cocktail could be better. We had a dinner at verandah the food is actually amazingly nice (burger, squid and pizza) dessert cheese cake is also very nice. The heated pool in winter is still cold (not freezing cold) def not warm. We only used the pool at noon (which is not that cold) the spa is warm and decent size we use the spa with our little one a lot. The lagoon pool is really nice too with sand and play toys provided. The room is a bit rundown but everything is working with good hot shower. Our room is on ground level so we can go straight to the lagoon from our room!

The pool area was a highlight spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing, whether you’re a couple, a family, or traveling solo. Our room was modern, spotless, and super comfortable, with a great view and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal and close enough to explore the Gold Coast, but peaceful and quiet within the resort grounds. We also loved the breakfast buffet and the golf course views. We’ll definitely be back highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxury getaway with great service and beautiful surroundings!

Beautiful service from all the staff at the Executive Lounge and everywhere else, especially Marilyn Gortsilas (the f&b supervisor) who took fantastic care of us at the Daily Breakfast and looked after my Mum for her birthday and even surprised her with a special birthday dessert! She is honestly so lovely and one of the most nicest staff members I have ever met. Overall, the hotel is a beautiful place and has lovely staff who are always happy to help. Definitely recommend it and will be coming back 🥰

Simply wonderful from arrival to checkout. Would 100% recommend to anyone - particularly families with children. The lobby is beautiful and upon arrival our luggage was taken to our room by reception. Perfect as we had our 3 year old in town. Rooms were stunning, great decor, great air con. The pool was literally incredible, our 3 year old borrowed a floatie jacket and had the best time. The staff were all super helpful despite the chaos of having a toddler. We ate in all of the restaurants, the Teppanyaki was the highlight, but all restaurants were great. For the last 3 days we upgraded to a spa suite with executive lounge access, staff were great seeing as we had a toddler and were felt so welcome. We both enjoyed the spa - which was perfect. Plenty of places to chill and even though there were several conferences going on, it didn’t feel rammed. We will be back.

Great place for golfers, the location is close to the AFL suns. It is a short drive to most things. The pool and park is great for kids, the rooms are neat and tidy and a good size, the bathroom was clean and in good condition. Room price was reasonable considering it a resort style accommodation. The buffet breakfast was reasonable with the food being constantly replenished. It has a sports style room with a bar and large screen if you want to watch some sports. Good undercover parking with extra outdoor parking. Overall it has a nice relaxed feeling and is popular for conferences etc.

Overall the hotel was quite nice and had a good feel to it, though a few things made our stay result in a 1 star review. The main issue we had with our stay is that we booked 2 rooms that were interconnecting and a microwave for 1 room as we have a kids 3,2 and 3 weeks old, interconnecting rooms was a possibility and confirmed over the phone months in advance, we also requested a microwave at $15 additional cost. We arrived at 1:30pm knowing we were early but wanting to be know our rooms for when it was time, we were told they weren't ready and to come back at 2pm so we're going and enjoy the facilities. 230pm we go to check in and they've given us two rooms that were not interconnecting and not next to each other. After about a half hour of back and forth the best they can do is two king rooms next to each other, I ask how going from a king and 2 doubles interconnecting into 2 king rooms is going to work for 5 people? They said they were fully booked out and that's the best they could manage, being we were staying there as part of a wedding we had no choice but to accept. We make the best of it and that night my wife and I have had to separate to look after the kids, we're trying to get our kids settled but all you can here is noise coming from the playground at 730pm, the kids were having a great time (which is fantastic) but the noise was so loud it was actually keeping the kids up for reference, midnight in the middle of surfers paradise above the night clubs is quieter. The rooms are plauged several times throughout our stay by knock and run from kids (not us but other guests at the hotel) the lifts don't require a key card so often apon entering a lift every floor is pressed. The facilities are quite nice and the rooms have been recently renovated but due to the above I was quite disappointed when spending over $600 per night. Never again!

We had issues on check out that put a sour taste in our mouths, but a lengthy back and forth with Blake in management helped to redeemed the whole experience. We initially wrote a scathing review of racv, but we feel the hotel has now heard our complaint and has taking responsibility for the issues, so we are happy to adjust our review to showcase some of the positives from our stay. The key parts that we enjoyed were the resturants, golf courses and the spa. Resturants: we tried the Kalinda buffet and food was always available and fresh. The Amici resturant was clean and the staff were very attentive. Food portions were big as well. The panorama lounge was always busy so finding a seat was sometimes difficult but the drinks and snacks were fresh and tasty. Golf course: husband enjoyed playing the blue course and is very keen to try out the green and gold courses. One spa: thoroughly enjoyed spa experience but it is on the pricey side. Therapist was attentive and adjusted to suit my needs. Our initial complaint was regarding the room cleanliness.

“An amazing experience from start to finish! The Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences is everything you’d expect from a top-tier hotel and more. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and breathtaking views of the ocean and skyline. The apartments are perfect for longer stays, with full kitchens and all the comforts of home. The staff are exceptional – friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making your stay special. Nothing is ever too much trouble, whether it’s arranging an early check-in, giving local recommendations, or going the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The facilities are outstanding. Multiple pools (including a heated one), spa and sauna, a fully equipped gym, and fantastic dining options. The buffet breakfast is excellent – plenty of fresh, high-quality choices, and the restaurant and bar have a great atmosphere for dinner or a relaxed drink. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, a short walk to the beach, shops, cafes, and nightlife. It’s a perfect spot whether you’re here for business, a romantic getaway, or a family holiday. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and convenience. Hilton Surfers Paradise sets the standard – we’ll definitely be back!”

The hotel is great! I love the two bedroom residence which is good for a family. However, if sleep is important for you, this hotel isn’t in the right location. There was music blasting every night (we stayed from Monday to Friday) from midnight to 2pm and we were on the 21st floor but we could hear music, over our ear plugs and white noise machine.

My wife & I celebrated our 45th year anniversary & checked in on 3 October 2025 at the Hilton in Surfers Paradise. From the moment we checked in we were very warmly welcomed by the staff, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a gift from the hotel. Our room had a beachfront view & was very comfortable. At night time we experienced some rowdiness from the clubs across the street, but overall we were quite satisfied with our room & how clean it was. The breakfast at the Catch Restaurant boasted a great variety cuisine including personal preference omelettes. We also had dinner a few times at the Catch Restaurant & the menu had an excellent variety of meals and the service was impeccable. In particular we want to thank Pete from Catch Restaurant, who excelled in taking care of us & ensuring our stay in the hotel was truly a memorable one. He always took time to answer our questions. Pete was very sincere in ensuring we were well taken care of and in our opinion Pete is a great asset of the hotel & his efforts should be acknowledged. We would certainly recommend the hotel and stay there again in the future. Joseph & Susan

The hotel proudly boasts a prime location, nestled among a delightful array of restaurants, each hiding its own culinary treasures that burst with flavor. Upon check-in, I encountered a firm enforcement of the 3 PM arrival time; however, I was graciously granted access to the lounge, providing a comfortable retreat while I awaited my room. The panoramic room I reserved was not only spacious but also unveiled breathtaking views of the beach, which truly elevated my stay to new heights. The executive lounge brimmed with a cozy ambiance, although it did feel somewhat snug. I can easily envision them opening the patio during the warmer months to accommodate more guests and enhance the experience further. I appreciated the thoughtful layout, featuring two distinct seating areas that fostered warmth and intimacy during the winter season. Although the quality of the food varied on certain evenings, the lounge ambassadors, especially Connor, were incredibly warm and attentive, making each encounter a pleasure. The breakfast buffet at Catch was nothing short of exceptional! For those who thrive on a high-protein diet, the abundant selection will be a delightful feast. The fitness center, while fairly standard, effectively met my needs without ever feeling overcrowded. Overall, I would eagerly return to this hotel, though I would remain mindful of the costs in comparison to other properties that might offer more contemporary amenities. While the pool was spacious, I found myself drawn more to the ocean and the vibrant boardwalk, which provided a more exciting backdrop for my stay.

Spent a week in one of the 3 bedroom apartments in the main tower. The room was spacious and well kept, with incredible beach views. The buffet breakfast has plenty of options for every taste so if recommend including it in your stay. If definitely stay here again.

Stayed for two nights. The first night the noise from nearby nightclubs was so loud that sleep was impossible. I can usually sleep through anything but this was LOUD! Windows were aged and didn’t seal properly so the double glazing was ineffective. Very very loud until 4AM. The conference I was attending at the Hilton was unfortunately highly affected due to lack of sleep. I asked for another room for the second night which they accommodated. Apparently this was supposed to be a free upgrade away from the ‘noisy rooms’. Got my bill via email and they charged me extra for a quiet room on the second night. Happy to pay extra for a room you can sleep in but that shouldn’t require an upgrade. Worth looking at this hotel if you’re looking for something with ocean views which is close to the night club scene but not appropriate for business traveler's or conferences. On a positive note, they do have a ready supply of ear plugs at reception to combat the noise.

Things to know before staying - The pools areas get NO sun from about 3pm onwards. Adults pool only gets sun in the morning, the large pool doesn't get a heap of sun so just bare in mind when you get back in afternoon you'll be swimming in shade with a cold wind. In October the pool bar is only open for a few hours in the afternoon, and only few days a week, but that may change closer to summer. Carparking - is a breeze, handy and super easy to find the hotel lifts if you can read a sign, all though make sure you check in before trying to drive into carpark, as we couldn't get into the carpark even when they specifically said we could. Hotel is sort of dated, its clean and tidy but just a bit tired! Location is superb, breakfast is good and has a worth it selection.

Stayed at the Hilton for several years in a row, and it never disappoints. The rooms are modern, clean, and have stunning ocean views. Fantastic location everything you need is just a short walk away, though it can get a bit noisy at night due to the central location.

Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, the service went above and beyond – every staff member made us feel genuinely cared for. The manager upgraded us to a suite when she heard we were on our honeymoon. The receptionist welcomed us with a welcome drink and took the time to share activity recommendations. We could tell the staff are very well-trained and enjoy their jobs. The room was beautiful- clean, great views, contemporary design but very comfortable. I had the best sleep here. The food was incredible – full of flavor, beautifully presented, and unforgettable. The pools were fantastic – clean, relaxing, and perfect for both fun and unwinding. There was a hot tub, a slide, lazy pool, and even a snorkeling area with little fishes. We felt so loved and welcomed throughout our stay. Every detail of this hotel made our trip memorable. I’ve stayed at hotels across 45 states in the U.S. and throughout Asia, but this was by far the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

Absolutely blown away by our dining experience at Citrique! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Shiv and Bree went above and beyond to make our night amazing – they were both so friendly, attentive and professional. The food was incredible, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Every dish was just perfect, easily some of the best I’ve had on the Gold Coast. And the cocktails… honestly the best I’ve ever had. Each one was perfectly balanced and so creative, you can really tell the bartenders take pride in what they do. The whole evening felt special from start to finish. Citrique truly delivers on every level – amazing food, outstanding drinks and next-level service. I can’t wait to come back again soon!

This hotel surpassed our expectations, providing an unforgettable experience. From the moment we entered, the hotel's magnificent interior design captivated us. The rooms were equally impressive. We had a fantastic time at the artificial beach with a waterfall, complete with fish, and the pool with slides. The restaurants offered exceptional dining options, including 'Chapter & verse bar and lounge', which served mouth-watering cuisine and provided a colouring activity for children. 'Citrique' offered a vast breakfast buffet, and the staff were remarkably attentive. I would like to commend Front Office Agent Pranjal Sethi for being the epitome of hospitality. Upon arrival, she welcomed us with a refreshing drink and took the time to thoroughly explain the hotel's facilities and activities, also providing a gift pack for our child. Her warm demeanour made us feel valued and appreciated. During our conversation, she casually inquired about the purpose of our holiday and, upon learning of the special occasion, arranged for a cake and greeting card to be sent to our room, a delightful surprise that made the occasion even more memorable. Throughout our stay, she was helpful, lovely, and thoughtful. The rest of the staff also displayed excellent training, friendliness, and a pleasant attitude. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return.

My partner and I stayed at the JW Marriott Gold Coast for 1 night during the weekend of the GC 500 V8 Supercars. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with big smiles and amazing service. We booked an ocean/pool view room with breakfast included. They had a variety of sweet and savoury foods which we treated ourselves to. We had a lovely dinner at their in house Japanese restaurant, Misono. The staff there were again so sweet and the food was delicious. I would also like to say a special thank you to some of the staff & managers of the hotel, Chanel, Melika and Stephen who looked after us for the duration of our stay. They were so very kind to us and their service was amazing. The JW Marriott GC is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, we will be back next year for another great weekend.

One of my best resort stay!! ⭐️5/5. At the moment we went in the hotel the guy on concierge was nice + all the staffs that I interacted in FD were so friendly. The amenities that I got as an elite member is very kind of them - I am a marriott associate and this resort felt like i’m taken care off. Breakfast is worth checking out too, we can make our own juices. Amazing stay for a good reset 😊💯

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The rooms were immaculate — spacious, modern, and with breathtaking views. The lagoon pool area was just stunning, and the atmosphere so relaxing. Breakfast at Citrique was next level — so many delicious options and fresh flavours. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool, dinner at Misono, and the service everywhere was first-class. The whole experience felt luxurious yet warm and personal. Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing Gold Coast getaway — worth every cent!

Lovely grand hotel though getting a tad dated. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it’s a large spread with a slight change of menu daily and great service. The external pool is quite unique in that they have aquatic fish you can swim with. Of course in winter it’s a little cold but nonetheless it was fun. No indoor pool. Great gym with proper equipment and there are some kids activities daily like sushi making class.

21 of us wanted to book for breakfast the day after our kids wedding. We weren’t allowed to book. So when we arrived, we told it was a half hour wait for breakfast and that they couldn’t accommodate a table of 21. 19 of the 21 we’re paying customers at $ 49.90 her head. We were seated over 4 different tables around the restaurant. We were unable to talk about the night before or raise a toast to the newly weds. We stayed only for around half hour, it was pointless being there. HOWEVER, your front of house staff really looked after the couple. The room was amazing. So thank you for that! Restaurant was a let down.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Menu was different to one advertised online. Dips were tasty. Shared lamb shoulder was slightly underdone... Did not fall apart as hoped. Salad contained coriander but was not mentioned on the menu - given the contentious love hate nature of this herb, that led to big disappointment with several coriander haters at the table. Cocktails were great. Company was amazing.

We came here 2 years ago with family to try out the menu of middle eastern food. We loved it. Tonight we came to celebrate our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that there were new owners with a new menu. The owner met us and seated us at our outdoor table. The venue is stunning with an amazing alfresco ambience. We had the barramundi share plate, the chat potatoes and the malfouf salad. The flavours were delicious; well balanced, fresh and enticing. The crispy crust on the Barra was something to write home about! Very engaging and friendly customer service with consistent follow up. If you are looking for a great place to dine, then you can’t really go past the Mecca Bah at Broadbeach … well at your own peril anyway.

Love the vibe of the restaurant it’s very spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have an expansive menu with lots of sharing plates. Since I was dining on my own I stick to a main dish of chicken, CPU’s cups and flat bread. I liked the flavours, chicken was tender and overall filling. I think it was lacking a bit of salt and spice however still a yum dish. I also had a lovely mocktail that was perfectly sweet. I got to use the eat club app at this restaurant and get 25% off my bill so my drink ended up free.

I love something fancy and yummy food. This time we had beautiful high tea at Sheraton Gold Coast . First of all we had special lemon cello drink. Normally they serve with alcohol but I don’t like spirits so I asked them without alcohol. It was nice flavor and fresh drinks. And we got beautiful high tea. Wonderful food and so beautiful. I highly recommend to my friend as well. All sweets and savory foods are amazing. My favorite is glazed Italian lemon and egg & truffle mayonnaise, watercress.and scones🩷🩷 I love tea as well but I couldn’t drink a lot of tea. It was too full. All staffs are so friendly and kind!! I would love to try another high tea different season as well.

We enjoyed both the patron ( cocktails ) and oysters session and backed that up with an early dinner comprised of share plates ( all delicious ) and a divine Eaton mess. The food was fantastic. The Venus had a great atmosphere. Staff were accommodating. A great cocktail list… I can recommend the spicy margarita. Great live music… only complaint was that it was loud and made it difficult to hear each other talking.

Beautifully prepared and delivered to our table, we couldn’t believe how perfect each delicate delight was. We were seated right in front of a large window that looked right out into the grounds of the Sheraton, just beautiful. Tegan was serving us and we could not fault her!! She explained everything so well to us about what we were about to enjoy, and gave us a little tip on drinking the cocktail that had gold flecks around the rim. 10 out of 10 experience!! A delightful choice for a birthday celebration! Was lovely to dress up and have the surroundings match our dress! Such high quality food as well, we were delighted with the selection, even if the service was a bit slow. Also good to check out the shop and tea house whilst there. Celebrated an 18th birthday party with a high tea for 30 guests. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The event was so well organised and well catered. Food was a good variety and declious. Beautiful atmosphere (despite the on and off rain), we just had a bit of trouble hearing the speeches as there was a 30th birthday very closeby at the same time. God value for money. Took away the stress of hosting the event myself.

It's a really enjoyable spot. Lovely outdoor settings and indoor tables. Definitely recommend booking ahead. The online booking system was easy. Food and drinks were great and affordable. The coffee was hot and the crepes and scones were fresh. Staff could benefit from learning how to serve high tea style. One young girl served the coffee with her fingers on where your mouth goes, not very table-serve etiquette. Parking is the only issue as we had a couple of cars didn't park correctly and took up all the spaces. Recommend that parking lines be put in to show people how to park, otherwise a fantastic place to visit.

This beautifully styled restaurant stimulated all my senses as soon as we arrived. The charm of the old building wonderfully decorated both inside and out combined with the relaxing sound of live music and welcoming of friendly staff was a great start. The delicious unique food and delicious ice cold drinks were perfectly prepared and presented to the table within 15 minutes of ordering. Overall a wonderful experience!

I visited for a function. They were actually closed to the public due to this. Service was good, and fast and any small hiccups, such as teaspoons for pots of tea, were quickly rectified. The food was delicious. High tea was served for the function I attended. Food was delicious and of a good variety of items. Classic Cucumber Sandwiches, but then Arancini Balls. I never tried the scones, but several of my party felt they were a bit dense and not as light & fluffy as they would have preferred. My only complaint if I had one would be I would have ordered a cocktail unfortunately none of them appealed to me. It's a small issue but also a personal one. Would love to come out here again and try something else

We had the High Tea here and cannot fault it. Delicious food and drinks, and super friendly staff. A beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere. Service was quick and efficient too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a special spot to enjoy a high tea!

Such a nice place to visit for an occasion or just because (our reason for going 🤭). The whole experience was lovely from the winter sun in the courtyard, the plants and decor which made the space feel so cozy and pleasant, the fact it was quiet and relaxing, the great service, and of course the delicious food & drinks! Would definitely recommend :)

So lovely – flowers, sunshine, great vibes & the kindest staff! 🌼🌸🌹🪴 Came here with a group of 6 for a friend’s birthday and it ended up being such a sweet, happy surprise. Two of our friends were about 45 mins late (whoopsie 😅) and the staff were still super lovely and patient with us the whole time. The space itself is so pretty — full of flowers and sunshine, and right by Currumbin Creek (which is stunning for a walk, swim, or paddle board before/after). Just a heads-up: it’s more of a bakery/pastry-style café (not a full restaurant menu), so the only way to get a bigger variety of savoury food is to go for the high tea, which includes bagels, scones, sandwiches, pastried and other sweet treats. Otherwise, the cabinet is full of really good baked goods — we saw savoury muffins, almond croissants, cookies, etc. We’d originally planned to mix sweet and savoury options from the menu, but didn’t realise that wasn’t an option here unless you chose the high tea. We were all pretty hungry after a chaotic morning (breakfast fail at another café), and so we were a bit flustered and unsure what to do. Honestly, the staff were so accommodating and just made it work for us — despite late arrivals, dietary requirements, and a bunch of questions and requesrs. For example, I’m allergic to certain things and can’t drink alcohol, and they kindly gave me a juice instead of bubbles at no extra cost 💛 There was even a mix-up with my matcha (I have to be vegan to avoid alergens, and I’d forgotten to say dairy-free), and they remade it for me with zero fuss and even let my friends have the spare drink. Speaking of — the rhubarb matcha and sticky dirty chai were amazing (seriously one of the best matchas I’ve had at the Gold Coast!!), and the bagels and scones were delish too. They offer vegan, veg and GF options which is such a win. The whole team was kind, helpful, and so genuine from start to finish — which was particularly sweet of them given how challenging we were as a group 🙈 (and I say this knowingly as a fellow previous hospo worker of 10+ years 😅!) ⚠️ Only tip is to plan ahead with parking — there is parking but it’s limited, and Currumbin is always packed on weekends and during school holidays. Give yourself extra time to find a spot or walk from a bit further if needed. 10/10 would come back for another high tea date ✨

My husband and I booked a room here for my 50th birthday. We wernt happy with the roof top balcony view and we asked if there were any other available rooms with a better view. Thank you Joanne ! You made my birthday extra special. We were upgraded from a low level to the highest level with a view. The suite was Fantastic!!! The valet on arrival was wonderful, check in was quick. Buffet breakfasts at Harvest were good. Highly recommend “uncle Su’ restaurant. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. Thankyou so very much for an amazing weekend 👍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed one night at this hotel and absolutely loved it! Our room had a stunning river view — so beautiful and relaxing. The room service was excellent, and the whole hotel had a very elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The pool, with its warm water and amazing view, was a highlight of our stay. Everything felt truly luxurious. I was very satisfied with our experience and will definitely choose The Star hotels again in the future!

We had a great stay at The Star Hotel. The place was very clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. Although the hotel is located above the casino, we didn’t hear any noise at all — we stayed on the 12th floor and it was perfectly quiet. The location is excellent, close to shopping centres, many great restaurants, and lovely cafés. Overall, it was a very good experience. Many thanks to the hotel management and all the staff for their great service.

Lovely clean room with a good view and all facilities. We stayed here as that was the meeting place at 3:30 am for our balloon flight! Made the early rise easier! Delicious breakfast in restaurant after the flight... What a wonderful experience.

Loved our stay at The Star celebrating our wedding anniversary in September. Check in was easy and smooth and got straight in. We figured it would be a little busy so did get there a little later but glad we didnt have to wait in line to check in. Valet was great and provided us with a secure parking space at the bottom of the hotel as our vehicle was too high. It has a code entry so felt happy knowing the car was in undercover parking. Initially we weren't sure how to get back up through the elevators but eventually figured it out. It was a little adventure! :) The staff were really helpful throughout our stay and even surprised us with a beautiful bottle of bubbles and card to celebrate, it was so throughtful! The food was amazing at Nineteen. We had the steak and duck and could not fault it. The location was perfect with the beach a short walk and lots of dining options available in The Star and nearby. We were there on the Starcation package and the inclusions were perfect for a couple.

Longest check in process ever! There was a massive line when we got there and had to wait in the line for 30 minutes to check in. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Also, the only amenities they left in the bathroom were soap, shampoos etc. no toothbrush, no amenity kit, or free bottled water. The room is very average for a 5 star as well. Underwhelming experience overall.

Always a pleasure staying at The Star. Despite the long wait to Check-in, Jackie and Kiki made up for the hiccup with their smiles and warm welcome. Watching and listening to Kiki carefully executing what she learnt along Jackie’s superb smooth support was very pleasant to see. The girls took me back to my days at the Marriott & Intercontinental Hotels as Operations manager … these kind of staff were rare back then…and still are these days I guess. Another highlight would be our dinner/meals at the Garden kitchen bar and the exceptional service by Michael.
Sam A — Google review
It’s honestly just like a 3-star hotel! The only good thing about it is that the casino is accessible. The service and rooms are really poor quality. You could clearly hear noise from the neighboring rooms. In the bathroom, there was only one of each item shampoo, body wash, and conditioner , that’s it! It was ridiculous! We even had to pay $4 for a small bottle of water, and the TV only gives access to its own app. Overall, it was not a good experience!

Buffet restaurant
Horizon Sky Dining, located at Four Winds, is a unique revolving restaurant on the 26th floor that offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the Gold Coast. The buffet menu features a variety of dishes including spanner crabs from Southport, salad leaves from Canungra, spring rolls, prawns, squid, roasted meats, oysters, mussels, pork belly, beef curry and more.
As far as buffet style dining goes (not my favourite style of dining) this was excellent with regular fresh platter replacement as well as regular replacement of individual used dishes, water bowls for cleaning hands and bowls for discarded crustacean and oyster shells etc. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The restaurant revolves very slowly and it would be a treat to be here in the daytime for lunch. The seafood was excellent and probably the best part of the buffet. Plenty of desert to choose from. I really enjoyed my French martini! (Two actually 😬) Pleasant unobtrusive music in the background gives a pleasant ambiance. Booking recommended during busy periods like Gold Coast Marathon weekend. Will be back sometime with my seafood loving daughter! 😃

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and she was really surprised and happy! I booked ahead of time however, I made a few adjustments because of our itinerary changes. They were really nice and flexible for us (maybe because the restaurant isn’t fully booked at the time we came in). Food was great as well, but the room for improvement would be the ribs. The meat was really tough, dry and kinda hard to cut, but all in all, food was great! The people were very welcoming and outstanding! They didn’t miss providing a great service (Can’t remember their names though). View was extremely amazing and we really did enjoy our time here. It was a great choice of place and experience 💯 Thank you Horizon Sky Dining Team!

They explained how the day would pan out and showed us the beautifully presented array of food. A great range of seafood, salads, entrees, main and, desserts. We enjoyed this sumptuous meal while taking in the sensational views. It was a clear day so we had a magnificent view for kms.

We recently celebrated our wedding reception at Horizon Sky Dining on Saturday, and Marilia and her team truly exceeded our expectations! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and some even asked us how we discovered this hidden gem - we're thrilled to have shared this Surfers Paradise treasure with them. The revolving restaurant's stunning views from high above were the perfect backdrop for our special day. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the staff's warm smiles made us feel truly special. We've been fans of Sky Dining since celebrating my birthday here earlier this year, and now it's our go-to spot for every occasion - well worth every penny! Thank you, Marilia, for helping make our wedding dreams come true in true Sky Dining style! With Love Always, N&P (Nadine & Piri) 23.08.25

We’ve eaten here many times and it’s always a great experience. The food is excellent value for money with plenty of options to choose from, and the way the stations are set up means it never feels crowded. As a coeliac, I really appreciate that the chef personally comes out to walk me through what I can safely eat, such a thoughtful touch. The seafood is always fresh and delicious, and you can’t beat the amazing view while dining. On top of that, the staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. Highly recommend!

ELK Espresso is a trendy and popular spot located in Broadbeach, right across from the beach. The cafe offers a unique atmosphere with mismatched furniture and a polished concrete floor. It's known for its delicious coffee, brunch, and lunch dishes. Signature items on the menu include tempura eggplant and Lindt hot chocolate. Despite being busy, the service and quality are excellent, creating a relaxed feel perfect for any morning.
Great food and amazing staff!! Olive our server was fabulous and kept the drinks flowing as we did the bottomless mimosas with the meal. We definitely felt that we got our moneys worth there. The menu selection was amazing and they change it seasonally so we just got in time for their fall menu. While we did have to wait for a table they told us it would be a 10 minute wait but really we only wait less than 5 minutes!!

Elk Espresso is located in the Oasis Shopping Centre, directly opposite Kurrawa Surf Club. It offers beautiful views of the parks and a refreshing breeze from the beach. The atmosphere is vibrant, dynamic, and lively and it gets really noisy and loud inside. They offer a seasonal menu for breakfast and lunch. The drinks are enjoyable, and the food is reasonably good. While this spot isn’t my first choice, I do visit occasionally. During my last visit in June, I had scrambled eggs on toast. One slice of toast was toasted, while the other was left fresh for some reason. The eggs were well-cooked. My friend’s poached eggs looked nice and runny inside, even though they were re heated, but the hollandaise sauce was bottled. My friend enjoyed her hot chocolate, which was made with real chocolate. I would rate Elk Espresso between 3.5 and 3.8 stars. Thank you. June 2025

We did a bit of research on cafes in Broadbeach and this one kept popping up as highly recommended. If you can't get basic toast and eggs right, then there's an issue. The bread was rock like ice and the butter had fully melted to the point there was only a little residue left. Eggs were very runny too even though we asked for poached. I did give feedback to the staff and the girl who served me to her credit was extremely apologetic and offered a free coffee or for them to remake it for us to take away (we declined but appreciate her proactive offer). My oats whilst not too bad was just full of Papaya and when I asked for a little more yoghurt to offset the taste - I was told I would have to pay additional for yoghurt which is supposed to come with the dish. If it helps coffee was nice. Again, the girl who served me at the pay counter on 23/10 AM really did demonstrate customer focus on it. Very disappointing experience though overall. :(

We sat at an outdoor table, and the vibe was great with friendly service. The salmon udon was a bit sweet and salty. The toast tasted quite ordinary. The Earl Grey Matcha Latte was a unique drink! It didn’t have a strong Earl Grey flavor, but it was still delicious.

First time we came here, we arrived at 1.56pm, the guy that seated us was great, warned us the kitchen stops taking orders at 2pm, which was fine as we already knew what we wanted. The lady that served us was also great, we shared the blood orange & pistachio waffle, which was delish 👌 2nd visit I rocked up by myself, and ordered the pana cotta, staff made me feel super welcome, was offered a table inside or out, opted for outside this time. Lovely place, would go again.

I just came here because the food looked okay and the place was full on Sunday morning for my birthday breakfast. Omg the food was amazing literally I cannot stress enough we came back again for the seconds the next day to try more. The food is 10/10 and the coffee worth ordering the deluxe mocha or hot chocolate I ordered the same drink we visited the place and got one to go as well. Best cafe in Gold Coast !

Both the food and drink are very yum. The matcha is defintely not grassy taste and the portion of food is large. The poached egg however got egg shells on them. Will visit again and highly recommend

Paddock Bakery, located in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Miami, is a popular spot known for its wood-fired sourdough and delectable breakfast and lunch options. The stylish weatherboard space with a leafy garden has quickly gained a loyal following and has become a Gold Coast institution.
Really nice creme brulee donut and Almond croissant. The sausage roll was also amazing. Nice garden styled Backery/cafe. The meals were quick despite the place was full. The ordering speed was fast, didn't wait long even it was a long queue. And finally, the staff and coffee were above the average. The table we shard with had a local couple seated, ordered the same food as us and they introduced us some good spots to visit.

Really nice place! Sometimes we don’t come here because it’s always so busy, but we went again this Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded. The service was fast, even though there was a line to order, it moved quickly. Staff were friendly and super attentive, constantly cleaning tables, and one even helped us find a table a bit away from other dogs (we were there with three!). The coffee was great, and oh my gosh — the danish with ice cream, pistachio and Nutella was amazing! Absolutely loved it.

Had the most amazing experience here. Busy but not crowded as there are lots of spaces to sit. They have streamlined it so it is efficient, pre made juices and ordering is quick. We didn't have to wait long to be delivered the best breakfast I've had out...ever! Highly recommend the toad in a hole, I was sceptical about the additional of sambal sauce but it absolutely elevates it, along with goats cheese too!! The whole table were happy with their meals and juices were delicious too. Can't wait to go back!

We got the Mushrooms and Acai Bowl and they were awesome. Mushroom was juicy, flavorful and acai was so fresh! The caramel cookie milkshake was so loaded and thick, exactly like how I want it to be! Lovely outdoor setting with plenty of tables and a really nice ambience – especially on a beautiful winter’s day. Visited on a Monday mid-morning and it wasn’t too busy, managed to find an off-street carpark about 10 or so. Ordered a coffee, iced mocha, jam doughnut and cinnamon scroll – all were delicious. Roughly $30 all up. The only downside was the toilets, which were quite dirty. Otherwise, a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks.

Out of all the cafés I’ve tried, this one truly stands out as one of the best. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm, fast, and incredibly efficient – perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a relaxing break. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, but it’s the bread that really stole the show – perfectly fluffy on the inside, with that crisp, golden crunch on the outside. You can tell it’s baked fresh and made with care. The coffee here also deserves a shout-out: bold, smooth, and beautifully made. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality more than justifies it. The place is popular for good reason, so it can get quite busy – especially on weekends – but the lively atmosphere just adds to its charm. Despite the crowds, I’d happily come back again. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this café is well worth a spot on your must-try list.

I’m just in LOVE with this place. The venue and garden make you nearly feel like you’ve escaped to the countryside far away from stress. If you avoid peak hours (it does get very busy), grab a book, find a quiet spot and you’ll never want to leave. It’s so peaceful. I’m vegan, and even though there aren’t many vegan options, I’m really satisfied with what’s available. The vegan XO mushrooms meal is exquisite! The textures and flavors are just perfect, honestly. The vegan macadamia slice is my guilty pleasure.. Oupsi 👀

With talented pastry chefs creating an array of delectable items like eclairs, tarts, and pastries, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best cafes we tried on our Queensland road trip from Sydney! I had an amazing açai bowl — didn’t even get the chance to take a pic before I demolished it. The decor was great, and the service was even better. Someone came out to give us menus and check if it was our first time there, even though we were sitting outside — such a nice touch! Hubby had the chicken karaage croissant and said it was incredible. We even ordered a nasi goreng after (even though we were already full) because everything was that good. Very baby-friendly too, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend BAM BAM Bakehouse — definitely worth a stop! 👏☕🍳

We have visited twice in two weeks for lunch. Both times trying out eggs benedict croissant and plain bacon and egg croissant. Also a range of cakes. The food is very good quality as baked daily. It's no bargain, but the place is always packed full. Seats could be more comfortable the ones we had were industrial feeling. Also it was open to the cool wind on both occasions. So wear something to cope with a breeze. Car park in front small and always chaotic. Road works on main road at the moment don't help with finding a park.

We went to Bam Bam Bakehouse for breakfast. Our coffee arrived first, but we waited about 25 minutes for the food, and when we asked, they realised they had forgotten our order. By then, the coffee was cold and not enjoyable. Overall, the coffee wasn’t great. I ordered the Hot Custard and Jam Croissant — it was nice — and my partner had the Snickers Twice Baked, which was overly sweet but not bad. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a very good experience overall. The place could have been cleaner.

Lovely place to visit during the day — bright, cozy, and relaxed vibe. The croissant sandwich was buttery and crispy with rich cheese; the fried chicken roll had a perfect crunch without being greasy, and the strawberry tart was fresh and smooth. Everything looked beautiful and tasted balanced. One of the best brunch spots on the Gold Coast for both food and atmosphere.

Located just next to a small park and also off the main street. Super convenient with a bus stop right in front of the building. The host was lovely and he had the friendliest smile. Service was pretty good throughout. Tried the recommended Bam Bam Benny (got mine with sauce on the side), it didn’t disappoint. The croissant had that flaky crisp on the outside and the softness on the inside. I would order the iced tea again, great thirst quencher. Apparently the strawberry tart is a must-try so got a takeaway cos I was full! It’s a pet friendly spot which is always fab (except when a dog at the next table with high pitched barks keeps going!) Otherwise, some lovely chirping by the birds from the park.

Christmas In July Great Food Grinchy Service ! We were warmly greeted by the doorman and shown to the restaurant by the friendly concierge. We were seated at a nicely presented table , the set menu was a pre-booked Christmas in July lunch. Our smiling Waitress introduced herself and said she would be looking after us, unfortunately this was where the good service ended! So I can only award 1 Star for Service prior to seating. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks and order to be placed, our assigned waitress seemed more interested in clearing empty tables and was oblivious even though the restaurant was not busy! We finally placed our orders with another waitress , who apologised but still it was a wait until the Champagne arrived. The entree soup was served from a jug by a younger waitress who seemed completely disengaged-no greeting-no smile and then she spilled some soup it was just a few drops on the tablecloth , but no apology or effort to rectify. Anyway I decided to let it go and just enjoy our lunch here. The main course was thankfully served by another waitress. The food itself was a highlight. Delicious, generous potions of sliced Wagyu beef, perfect crispy Yorkshire puddings, accompanied by flavoursome vegetables. Dessert was equally enjoyable. However the service continued to disappoint. We still couldn’t get the attention of our waitress, so we decided to leave and go and settle our bill. Another staff member unsmiling and no communication , in fact quite abrupt mannerisms, but ok maybe these staff are just all having a bad day. To top it the lady at the cash point handed us someone else’s bill. When I flagged it up as I appreciate it can happen though bearing in mind the restaurant was certainly not busy at this time, her reaction was to say nothing just print off the correct bill. So in summary, while the food was very good, the customer service was very disappointing. Our experience was appalling and left a lasting negative impression. Sadly despite the lovely surroundings and the beautiful music played by the pianist. It’s not a dining experience I would like to repeat. The lack of hospitality in this restaurant was lacking.

My husband and I chose to have dinner at the Coastal Carvery & Catch Buffet as we were staying at the Imperial Hotel plus the description of the buffet sounded very nice. However, unfortunately, we came away feeling quite disappointed. The seafood choices were very underwhelming. The sand crab was very dry and tasteless, seemed like it had been over cooked, frozen and thawed. Whilst the prawns looked nice, they too were tasteless. The oysters were very nice except they were not replenished once they were gone which was very early on in the evening. Fortunately, we did find some oysters Kilpatric which were also very tasty. The salad bar was average, not a lot of choice and the carvery nothing special. The cheese selection by 7:30 was also very limited as it too, was not being replenished. The dessert bar was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the service was very, very slow as was the service in the main lobby lounge where we had pre dinner drinks. Would we go back to Il Barocco? No, sorry. We have had prawn trawlers and fishing charter boats in the past, so we have a fair idea about quality when it comes to seafood. For the money, we felt that the value and the quality was not there. The variation in seafood options was very limited but maybe by the time we arrived, which was 7pm, most had been eaten and not replenished?

We dined here for the Melbourne Cup Function. The food was amazing, the service was excellent but unfortunately we all felt the ambience was a little not quite there. Most of the other hotel venues have table set up for groups but it seemed that most of the tables were for couples or 4 people - no real mixing and there as no best dressed or mc to bring the event together. At the end when they did the raffle it was hard to hear what they were saying because their microphone would only work one way and not to both sides of the restaurant area. I think next year maybe look at a function in one of the ballrooms and have entertainment or an MC - fashions etc and lucky door prizes etc. But on a brighter note we will be back for the buffet in the future - it was amazing and we all agreed

Use to be one of the best place around. Buffet standards have dropped Significantly to an unacceptable level especially for a 5 start hotel. Barely any seafood range for their seafood buffet. They ran out of roast meat by 7pm. Salad selection was terrible. I have to cancel my work Christmas party that was organised for Il Barocco and finds an alternate resturant that is up to standard. I have has almost every Christmas party there. Very disappointing.

Service was below average. We were seated next to a noisy raffle draw, and asked to be seated somewhere quite. There were plenty of empty tables, and couldn't understand why they squeezed us next to the noisy raffle draw. We had to constantly ask for our drinks to be toped up, and the wine was not chilled. The food was good. We've had great service there before but on this occasion they completey messed it up.

From the Skirt steak to the raspberry dessert! The staff are so well trained and friendly. We meet the manager Holly on our last night and she was a pleasure. The very tall gentleman that served us the other nights was really lovely as well. Apologies as I have forgot his name. This place is well worth a visit even if you aren't staying in the hotel.

Tea house
Teavine House offers an exquisite experience for a mother-daughter day out. Indulge in a decadent array of petite bite-sized delights and high tea, all served with top-notch service. Additionally, the fully catered lunch options are equally impressive, featuring grilled salmon, delicious chicken dishes, and enticing platters of cheese and cured meats with assorted breads and dips. The beverage selection includes a variety of specialized teas and coffees to complement the delightful culinary offerings.
Nice relaxing atmosphere in the Tallebudgera valley. Great spot when the weather is nice out. Good open atmosphere in well manicured gardens sets the scene for a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea. The high tea is nice with good variation on a 3 tiered plate. The selection of teas is great. Highly recommend.

I've been to Teavine House a few times over the years and every experience has been absolutely lovely. They were my first pick for my bridal shower. All the staff were warm and so accommodating! The food and teas are so cute and delicious. I highly recommend considering Teavine House for your next function.

Such a pretty setting. The scones were very nice although a little small. The jam and cream serving very generous. A great selection of teas. Friendly staff. Great little store to purchase gifts as well.
Pam S — Google review
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous however the food and service was entirely average. The scones were inedible, tasted very strongly of bicarb or baking powder, it was overwhelming. No one at our table could eat them. The rest of the high tea food was hit and miss. Only half our table was served water, inattentive staff. It got extremely hot and stuffy. Flies everywhere. We got asked to leave as the table was booked for someone else, which is absolutely fair enough. We immediately got our bags as though to leave, and we were waiting for the bill that never came so after ten minutes we asked if we were supposed to be waiting for a bill or head up to the counter to which we were very rudely told the bill was coming. Why tell us to leave and then have us waiting at the table for a further 10-15 minutes waiting for the bill? Such an average experience and you can do a lot better elsewhere for same or lower price. Save your self the trouble and head to Bonappatea instead. Nicer venue and a much better experience in the same area. We won’t be returning.

Sanctuary Cove is a delightful destination for families seeking an unforgettable holiday experience. Nestled on Hope Island, just a short drive from major theme parks, this charming area offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The luxurious Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort provides a serene retreat after thrilling days at nearby attractions. Beyond its proximity to fun-filled activities, Sanctuary Cove boasts a vibrant residential atmosphere with sports complexes, golf courses, and a picturesque marina filled with yachts and boats.
If you want to come here by public transportation, you can take the light rail to Southport and transfer for 711 bus to here. I have heard this place before and it’s my first time visiting here. There are a large number of yachts just like Marina Mirage, but I prefer here much more from now on. In my opinion, it’s such an underrated spot that has various restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, home goods stores, clothing stores and a few yacht real estates. Speaking of restaurants, I highly recommend George’s Paragon Seafood Restaurant. In my opinion, they not only have the most authentic seafoods but also magnificent waterfront views. In summary, despite its remote location, it’s still an underrated place to check out.

We attempted to dine at the Dragon Cove restaurant today. Upon arrival at Sanctuary Cove, we were informed that we would have to buy admission to the marine event which we had no intention of attending. No prior warning as to this facist decision. As a result we left hungry and the restaurant lost our business. Poor form people.

Visited for lunch with friends. We didn't stay there. Beautiful area as seen when driving through. Everything is clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the lunch overlooking the marina. And later, a nice ice cream.

Visited Sanctuary Cove shopping centre while on holiday. Very uppity staff in the shops who were unfriendly and looked down their noses at us. Clearly they wrongly assumed we were in a different financial level than them. Will not return after this and our experience at Georges restaurant.

This place is amazing!!! We had an amazing dinner last night, we had a big table of 14 and the service was exceptional. We ordered a few seafood platters for 2 and they were absolutely massive not only the freshest seafood but also some beautiful seasonal fruit, we also ordered some oyster plates and also Greek platters. After realizing the servings were so big we asked if there was any chance we could take it home the not only packaged it for us but they also cut up all the fruit and packaged it all separately for us. We were blown away by the service, and the quality of food nothing was too much trouble and they all went above and beyond.

Had the standard high tea! Was delicious and worth every cent! The workers were so friendly and welcoming! Helen guided us to our table and went through the menu and options, even recommended some great teas, including the “Packs A Peach” which was awesome! The chefs even took their time to come out to explain each individual food item we would be consuming! Lovely area and was able to sit and stay as long as we wanted. Loved all the little details and quirks here! Would definitely come back and recommend!!

My mum and I had the absolute pleasure to enjoy a high tea at Fixx Cafe located in the QT on the Gold Coast. What an incredible experience through flavour, design and abstract foods. A big shout out to the chefs and workers who were present on the morning of the 12th of July 2024. So incredibly lovely and made us feel welcomed. And of course the chefs: so incredibly talented! The selection of teas was amazing! Every tea I tasted I was so happy with, they all were a perfect match with our savoury and pastry stands. Would recommend to anyone, and will be coming back with my partner and my friends. I couldn't do anything better for mums birthday! Thank You Fixx Cafe!

We celebrated a 70th Birthday at Fixx. We had the standard high tea with bottomless mimosa. I arrived early to put balloons and flowers on the table. Our waitress was amazing and placed them on the table for us. The table setup was elegant and perfect. Whilst waiting 3 of us had a drink. She recommended an ice tea to my autistic 14yo son and spoke to him with such respect and understanding. When the rest of the party arrived, including the birthday girl she was their in flash and explained everything perfectly. The chefs came out with the food and explained the dishes. It is a lovely touch and both should applauded for how they interacted with us. The food looked elegant and tasted sublime. The coffee was made with perfection, the tea went down a treat and the bottomless mimosa kept flowing for 2 hours. Would highly recommend Fixx high tea for any special occasion. We will be back.

Le Jardin is a luxurious restaurant located within Palazzo Versace, offering delightful high teas for families throughout the week. The venue boasts a spacious setting adorned with crystal chandeliers, vintage furniture, and mosaics, creating an opulent atmosphere. Guests can indulge in a variety of delectable treats along with fresh coffee and tea. The establishment provides an extravagant experience with warm hospitality from the Versace staff.
We had an Amazing high tea yesterday. Great service and loads of food. Particularly great for those with a very sweet tooth. The savoury was beautiful too. My only feedback would be that I would love the option to customise to have less sweet and more savoury. (I haven’t seen anyone do this but that’s what I would love) Ps. Great atmosphere with the pianist.

High tea at le-jardin at the new imperial hotel was lovely, the atmosphere was pleasant. The right amount of food and many other options if you do not wish to have high tea, however do wish it was an unlimited choice of coffee or tea, but overall definitely something worth doing for a special occasion, birthday or just because.

My partner and I embarked on an exhilarating weekend getaway to the Gold Coast. After checking in, we decided to have a drink and a bite before heading out to explore the city. However, the exceptional hospitality displayed by Helena and her team at “Le Jardin” kept us at the hotel for the rest of the day and half of the following day. You guys are amazing, and it is a privilege to have you around the industry on the Gold Coast. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We had a wonderful time.

It is a great service with the finest, most amazing Italian tiramisu ever presented to me with soft flavor like you try to bite a cloud. The tea selection is next level, the environment it is a Classy Versace style - the unique one!!!

We took mum to Le Jardin's High Tea for a Mother's Day treat and we all really enjoyed it. The service was impeccable and made us feel special: - Jessica was the consummate host with her friendliness and attentiveness (as was the woman working with her, but I didn't catch her name unfortunately). Jessica was also good enough to show us around the Vanitas restaurant afterwards, and store our take-away items in the fridge until we were ready to leave after having a look around the ground level - George on security was also brilliant. He was welcoming, jovial and exceptionally kind to bring us a complimentary small vial of Versace perfume for mum - Because my mother is in a wheel chair I scoped out the accessible facilities before booking, and the door staff / concierge was good enough to show me around to help me feel satisfied that the accessible toilets etc were appropriate - Upon booking I also let the hotel know that my mother was in a wheel chair and they made a note of this, so when we were drove up the hotel door staff greeted us by name and were good enough to leave our car parked upstairs / out the front for ease of wheel chair access The food was of the best quality and delicious. High tea never seems like a huge meal when it is first delivered, but trust me - we couldn't eat it all and had to take some home. Being Versace and a 5-star, the price is always going to reflect this, but it's not something you do every day, and this is perfect for a special occasion. Thank you for a great experience and being so accommodating Versace, highly recommended.

Decided to drop into this place for a nice relaxing coffee. I have been here before for a snack. And enjoyed the experience. I love the opulence, the decor, the atmosphere. It’s a little over the top, but I love it. It is all quality as far as I experienced it. Coffee was very nice. And it was very relaxing sitting outside in the sun, overlooking the pool. The waiter, Dimitri, was a very pleasant fellow. If you are on a budget, then this place may not be for you. If you don’t mind paying for an experience, then I think you should try this hotel and Café, at least one !

Lovely Sunday spot. Be sure to check some of the amazing specials on offer. We were spoilt with $2 oysters! A stand-out dish you can’t miss is the spicy tuna tartare in a creative puff taco!
Blue G — Google review
During this stay at Peppers we had Three breakfast buffets and two dinners at Hyde and overall the restaurant surprised me well on the positive side! Breakfast buffet continental section is not big but had all the breakfast basics except for cold meat and cheese. We particularly liked the small Acai section on Tuesday(did not got a picture sorry). The food in the hot cooked to order part was delicious! We particularly loved the Mediterranean Avocado with the delicious nutty cheese and beautifully grilled artisan bread. they were not huge portions but complemented by the cold buffet it was very sufficient… unless piling up the plate with bacon is part of your breakfast buffet must. :) The only big negative was the coffee station… below average breakfast buffet coffee machine quality. The ladies and gents working there were great except for this one girl in black on Friday morning that was rather not nice when we already had to wait fair bit for a table… hence not five star here… The dinner menu is DEVINE! Our favourite were… almost everything! The pea pasta did not sound much but it was so nice with just the perfect spice level and perfect pasta we ordered twice. Thank you Hyde Paradiso!

Make sure when dining that you check out the Gold Coast Sunset!

Good view of the beach. Generally good food. We did a hens lunch here and the service is all over the place. They kept giving us food and drinks that were for a different table even though we ordered using the QR code with a specific table number (this happened 7 times, I counted). We tried most the starters and we liked the baba ganoush the most and the tartare the least. We tried all the main plates (wagyu, chicken, gnocchi and chicken) - we loved the wagyu, the barramundi the least. Drinks we ordered were a hit and miss.

Enjoyed breakfast here recently. One menu choice plus light buffet included in the price. Barista coffee extra. Food was nice. Service depends on the person, some were great, others no so much. Nice spot beside the sea at Surfers. Furniture a bit grubby and dated. We'd eat here again.

The overall atmosphere of the place makes you excited to eat but unfortunately the food and service do not reflect that. As we were not guests of the hotel we paid $50/ person. The waiter did not greet us nicely, was rude and then did not even offer a drink to start the breakfast as I saw every other guest have that offered to them and have had it every other time I have been here. The quality has plummeted since the other 3/4 times I have visited the buffet breakfast. Our food was stone cold (eggs and bacon) the juice was sickly off. Bowls and plates were not cleaned properly and they were only dried on one side or sometimes not even at all. This so called 5-star service is definitely not living up to standard. Wish I could say it was worth it but it is absolutely not.

Cute cafe within the Intercontinental to have breakfast. Due to covid, it is currently not a buffet, rather table service, which was fine. The servers were all very friendly and helpful. Both breakfast meals that we ordered were great and filling. Very nice way to start the day.

Visited the Cove Cafe after reading some good (& recent reviews). The Cove Cafe were advertising a "locals" special for $25 pp. All good so far. When we visited the Cafe had about six tables occupied so not busy. My issue is that there was hardly ANY food on offer......make your own toast with condiments, breakfast cereals, yoghurts, individual fruit bowls (with a handful of pre cut fruit), four different miniature pastries (also presented in individual bowls) and your choice of apple, orange juice or water. The advertised menu (on opentable.com.au) shows 11 choices of Main Dishes for breakfast on offer yet our menu presented to us this morning showed only half these choices and it still took 45 minutes for the meal to arrive. If I was expected to pay $42 per adult (which is the advertised price shown on the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove's website) then I would be very peeved. Thinking that we were paying $25 was a good deal BUT unfortunately the Cove Cafe did not deliver this morning and I would be very hesitant to return or to recommend this. Sorry Cove Cafe.....not value for money even in these Covid times.
Paradise G — Google review
Visited the Cove Cafe for the Saturday night seafood buffet as a group of 4 Adults. Great selection for seafood lovers - fresh prawns, oysters, crab, salmon, sashimi the works. This restaurant excelled at both of my favourites - seafood and dessert. Yum! Hot food was nice but not as extensive as the seafood and dessert (not that I was complaining). We also had the wine buffet with dinner - definitely worth it. The restaurant itself is is cosy and intimate. Customer service was good. We were first time visitors so thought our waitor could've explained the formality of both buffets better - very minor. Loved it otherwise. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible. Will definitely come back again.

Monsieur Chow was an absolute delight to discover In Nobby’s Beach and made our New Year’s Eve very special. The specially curated menu had courses which were taste sensations and the cocktails were scrumptious. Hard working, talented Chefs, Thankyou! Staff were friendly, engaging and super efficient, especially the charming and very professional Manager. We visited Monsieur Chow for a weekend lunch using a First Table booking and got 50% off all our food – such a great deal! The restaurant was quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxed catch-up, and the service was lovely and attentive. A special shout-out to our waiter, who honestly advised against the Vietnamese coffee after he prepare my order and taste-tested it and wasn’t happy with the result. I really appreciated the honesty – he could have just served it, but he cared enough to recommend something better. The food was absolutely delicious. The bao buns were a highlight – especially the eggplant bao, which I loved! We also had the pork belly and some veggies, and the flavours were spot on. The sauce paired so well with the rice. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully done. On top of all that, we paid half price thanks to the First Table offer. Nothing to fault – one superbly happy customer here. Highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed the single serve vegetarian banquet on offer the day before the GC50k. It was also good to have a non alcoholic drink with my meal. The restaurant overlooks the beach and park area across the road so a very nice outlook. The staff were very friendly and explained each dish on arrival. The decor is minimalist but tasteful and the whole restaurant is clean and inviting. The meal was perfect for me and fuelled me perfectly for my big run the next day.

I visited Franquette for breakfast and tried the French Onion Toast and the Mozzarella Baguette, along with a cappuccino and a flat white. Both dishes were delicious, and the atmosphere and service were wonderful. The presentation was great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Came here to try their almond croissant. It did not disappoint. The croissant was pretty large and buttery, with a good amount of almond cream inside. I can see why they were rated best in the Gold Coast. We also ordered their chicken toastie. It tasted good but for $18, I expected a little more chicken. The place was fairly crowded on a Saturday morning but seats were available quite quickly. I really liked the layout and decor of the cafe and the staff were attentive. I would come back to try more croissants and their quiches.

It was really, really, really, truly delicious! The moment I took a bite, I finally understood why so many people rave about this place. It is definitely a spot I want to visit again and again. Although the wait to place an order was a bit long, once we ordered, the food came out quickly. We ordered both desserts and brunch items. The dessert breads were not overly sweet, so I could really taste the natural flavor of the bread. The outside was perfectly crisp while the inside was soft and moist – I absolutely loved it. The coffee had just the right balance of acidity and nuttiness, exactly my taste. The menu itself was so pretty and unique that I spent quite some time looking at it while waiting. There were also waiting seats in the pickup zone, and the café had plenty of seating, which I really appreciated.

Walked past this bakery not expecting anything but attracted by the modern fitout and decor, once we stepped into it, we just can't resist even though we just had breakfast! Ordered the Lemon Meringue Danish and a coffee to share, wow, the pastry was flaky, the balance between the meringue and lemon custard was just right for our liking, not too sweet or sour, perfect! We were lucky to step in when there was no line, but when we were enjoying our danish and wanted to go back in to order more for takeaway, the line was so long!

If I’m going to drive all the way up the mountains then I expect some home-style service with that small town feel and you definitely do not get that here. The coffee is served warm, there is no heart or sense of warmth. Positives: the pastries look great. The venue is adorable and the menu is super unique in how it’s presented. Negatives: service is poor, you can’t make any substitutes because everything is pre-made. Seating isn’t comfortable and tables are small. Doesn’t seem pet friendly as there are no dog bowls (interesting for a French inspired venue). I could get the exact same experience (but better) at Rise Bakery in Hope island. I’d recommend to the venue that they recognise the area they set themselves up in and get that warm hospitality feel back because it’s definitely giving “we don’t care, just buy it and get out”

Great place to have brunch with a group. Most of the tables seat up to 4, with a few seating up to 6. Most of them are also under the sun. We got the Le Porchetta and Le Truffle Chicken Baguette, and the Le French Onion and Le Tripple “P” Toasties. All were flavourful and filling.

Being French and living in Queensland, franquette feels like a reward. If I’m homesick or just craving a sandwich jambon emmental or one of their perfect flans, knowing that I’m living so close to Franquette bakery makes me feel less melancholic. Thank you for the quality of all the ingredients that I can definitely feel in each pastries.

Worth the trip! Drive from the GC is short and pleasant, even for a Sunday morning. Food and service is excellent. Line can get a bit long, but worth the wait. Bought pastries to last the week!

The staff here are really cool and friendly. Laura's on her first day this Sunday, June 8, and she's super nice. She's taking great care of us. The food is amazing—you’ve gotta try the steak from this place! Definitely coming back next time.

We had a fantastic dinner here! Went with the set menu and wine pairing, and it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Every dish was delicious, and the wine pairings really took it to the next level. The atmosphere was spot on – right across from the beach, with live music playing outside and a really nice vibe inside the restaurant. Staff were lovely and the service was great all evening. Perfect spot for a special night out. Highly recommend if you’re after good food, great wine, and a beautiful setting.

Felt like steak, and Coast definitely delivered. Ordered the Icon Wagyu bavette, which was super beefy, and extremely tender, the croquetttes and the tempura eggplant were both delicious, and the iceberg wedge with candied walnuts was a great recommendation.

The first time we came here, it was not great. Months later, possibly even a year later. We came back and it was amazing this time around. Husband and I loved it. Food was 1000 times better. Possibly change in chef. Amazing steak we will come back again

My favourite part of my first time at this restaurant was the service by Jodie. It was literally fantastic detailed polite, intimate responsive and was great energy. The food of course was fantastic. She made sure we ordered the right dishes that go together as well as a wine to go with it and then end it with a fantastic cocktail and a smile on her face. Yes the venue is beautiful. The food is good but what makes a place is a service and Jodie deserves all the praise she gets! Zee is a fantastic bartender pays attention to detail respectful funny and entertaining also makes amazing drinks However the manager (Megan I believe) is super rude, unfriendly and basically kicked us out , even though we hadn’t finished our drinks - there is such a thing to do it gracefully .. and another waiter we had (Colombian) rude as , when I asked about the menu suggestions etc He really couldn’t be bothered helping us

Incredible delicious steaks! Definitely order medium rare! Recommended sides iceberg lettuce and fries yum!! Also loved the Tommy’s margarita! The service was incredible - friendly, welcoming and helpful! Highly recommended

Came here during the steak special. Ordered medium well. Recieved a well done dry small steak, tasted old and tasteless. Not a single drop of bloody juice in the steak and the fries were half burnt. Came here for a honeymoon after our wedding and heard this placed was rated really well but overall everything seems to suck.

It was a very sophisticated restaurant. I brought my baby with me, and they provided us with a very spacious and comfortable table with a sofa seat. The waiter explained the menu to us in detail, so we had no trouble ordering. All the dishes were delicious, made from the ingredients themselves. They were carefully prepared and turned out to be wonderful dishes. The portions of each dish are often too large when traveling abroad, but at this restaurant the portions were just right.

Tarte Beach House is a stunning two-story bakery and restaurant located in a prime spot with direct views of Currumbin Creek. The place seamlessly combines Hamptons style with Parisian touches, offering a unique menu that blends French, New York, and Australian cuisine. Nestled on the banks of Currumbin Creek, it provides a captivating dining experience. While parking can be challenging, the location's beauty makes up for it as guests enjoy scenic views across the river.
We had the most beautiful experience at the Tarte Tea House for my birthday celebrations yesterday morning. The ambiance service cost presentation of food and drinks were all exceptional and tasted amazing. Every one absolutely loved their time in the tea garden with the lovely attentive staff and greenery. We will be back again very soon! A special mention and thank you so much to the staff who hosted us during the morning yesterday. Kirsten ☺️

We absolutely love Tarte at Currumbin, we tend to on our visits book the restaurant as I love to know we have a table when going out with the family on those special mornings where you all want a beautiful breakfast. Each time we visit we get amazing service, all staff are welcoming and certainly are well drilled and all look the part. The food. Wow what can I say? The pancakes OMG, the avocado on sourdough toast, the salmon bagels, the scrambled eggs all sensationally presented and cooked. Absolutely recommend them all, our next visit we are booked in for the high tea as I have also heard fabulous comments on that. The atmosphere and setting 10/10, overall experience 10/10, it’s my favourite breakfast and meeting with family and friends spot. Well done Tarte, keep up the great work. Oh and before you leave grab yourself some goodies to take home, definitely no disappointments there.

The lovely team at Tarte Beach House were kind and super attentive and as soon as we walked up to wait to be seated - which was immediate! They let us know that, as we arrived just before 2pm, there was about to be limited menu options and they were able to promptly get our order in before it switched over which we were stoked about! The chicken sandwich was sooo yummy, even with gluten free bread which was perfectly toasted, and the fish and chips were great too ☺️ Highly recommend this lovely spot right by Currumbin Creek - a beautiful view and fresh breeze to cool off for lunch. Beautiful staff working hard to make everyone's experience the best 🤍

Sat in the café section and absolutely loved it. 🌊☀️ The outdoor seating faces the creek, which makes it such a relaxing spot to enjoy a coffee. We ordered two flat whites ☕☕ and shared the chicken sandwich — do yourselves a favour and GET THIS SANDWICH! 🥪🔥 The crispy skin crunch was incredible and the portion was huge. Staff were super attentive and service was quick. 👏👏 Highly recommend Tarte Beach House! 💯

We had the most wonderful experience at Tarte Beach House for my baby shower high tea. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with such a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with plenty of variety to enjoy. The staff were so kind and attentive, making us feel truly special and well looked after throughout the whole celebration. It was the perfect venue to gather with family and friends, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend!

Wow what a spot! Definitely lives up to the hype and is busy for a reason. Have been a few times now and each time the food and service was amazing, special shoutout to Gemma who took extra care of my friends and I today 😌 cocktails, crab linguine, Thai beef salad and wagyu was unreal! See you again soon

OMG, Tarte Beach is amazing! 😍 You can seriously spend the whole day here and never get bored. The restaurant has yummy food, the café is perfect for grabbing coffee or a sweet treat, and the tea garden is just so chill — the kind of place where you can sit forever and relax. And it gets even better — they’ve got SUP boards and kayaks for hire! It’s so fun paddling around, and the kids (and adults) will have the best time. Honestly, you could start your day with some water fun, grab brunch, hang out in the tea garden, go back on the water, and finish off with a late lunch while watching the sun go down over the creek. It’s the perfect spot for a full-on summer day with the whole family. I can’t recommend Tarte Beach enough — such a fun, happy place! 🌞🌊

Nestled in the picturesque Sanctuary Cove Marina, Rise Bakery brings a delightful taste of Paris to the Gold Coast. This artisan boulangerie, crafted by talented French chefs Adrien Marcinowski and Maxime Bournazel, offers an impressive array of pastries that include buttery croissants, delectable pain au chocolat, and beautifully adorned danishes. The menu also features savory options like quiches and pies alongside perfectly baked breads and baguettes.
Probably one of the best bakery choices one could hope for. So difficult to choose from a well presented display of pastry. Lovely staff and service. Outside seating on a beautiful day. A great coffee to complement our sweets.

This is our dessert go-to after lunch at George’s Paragon Restaurant. Good coffee and a naughty pastry to finish the lunchtime experience. I do like the sprinkling of grated chocolate in the cappuccino. The pastries are fresh and flaky like good choux pastry should be. You can eat inside or brave the ravenous seagulls outside. This is the only downpoint….the birds are voracious. They even try to hop on the table while you are eating. If there is a space inside, might be an idea to take it. Still hasn’t deterred us from visiting. The servers are very pleasant.
Leonie W — Google review
Bland tasteless iced latte. Half filled truffle chicken pie with only chicken and leeks and with no hint of truffle flavour. The pastry of pie tasted dry and weeks old. The vanilla custard fillings of the vanilla slice on display looked fake. So I ordered the fruit tart instead. The custard filling inside fruits tart is unfortunately no better. It tasted nothing like real custard, but more of a corn starch mixed with vanilla seeds like thing, Disappointed ! Service was friendly, the seatings outdoor are pleasant when the weather is nice.

Service was great cannot fault it! Food however a bit on the disappointing side bread was very hard and chewy on the roll, the pastry in one of the cakes we had had a very distinct burnt taste when I mentioned this to the staff she did give me full refund and a replacement pastry like I said service was excellent! We did however have a forgotten tea and when we asked where it was she just said I will go check but never returned with the tea. Our table was also extremely wobbly!

Cozy place for a cup of coffee or drink & spoil yourself for their French pastries. We went after lunch so only had coffee & a chocolate tart which was not too sweet & nice. As it was late , after 2pm, there were limited selections. Will try again next time. Coffee was mediocre..

Very nice French bakery. Nice view from the table. I sometimes take away food from here too. They packed very well and beautifully. It is good to bring cakes and savory from there to friends home or buy baguette and quiche for picnic before going to park and beach too. I love this bakery rather than other places .

Travelled from New Zealand and Stayed for a week . The best Hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in many. Check in could have been a little easier as there was some confusion over rate that was booked but senior staff member handled it pretty well Food was incredible. We ate breakfast each day and on two occasions purchased various food items whilst watching Nrl in the bar. Really good variety of food and delicious The room was fantastic. The internet was super fast and the swimming pools were great. A far far better Hotel than the Novotel Surfers Paradise which we stayed at during our last trip to Gold Coat Overall the Voco is amazing its hard to really find any faults. I recommend !!!

We had a very pleasant stay! Upgraded to an ocean room. Hotel was clean and maintained. Staff are all lovely and nothing was a problem or hassle. Location was great for us. Would stay again! Breakfast was yummy and consistent. Some negatives: Sound buffering from the hallway wasn’t great, so we had guests who weren’t very polite wake us up a couple times at 4.30am. Elevators slow! Especially to get to and from parking lot. Breakfast was very yummy but your plates are not clean! Found about 6 dirty plates over the course of our 5 day stay. And even the ones clean on top were sticky underneath.

✅️ Perfect location for the beach, restaurants, shops and right next to Surfers Paradise tram stop. ✅️ Great customer service and reception who assisted me quickly with a lost item. ❌ Rooms are not sound-proof. I could hear every neighbouring doors opening/closing until late at night. ❌️ Housekeeping could be better. The carpet wasn't well-vacuumed. ✅️ Two decently-sized outdoor pools. ✅️ Laundry room available. ✅️ Included breakfast was decent but can get quite busy during peak hours. Overall good value for the price. Recommended for short stays 👍

Rooms were clean and comfortable. We go a nice (although distant) view of the ocean. Receptionist, George was really warm and welcoming. Parking on site which is convenient. Location was ok. Walking distance to main city area but since it rained we drove. Would definitely stay here again as the value was fantastic.

Loved our stay, me and my kids got the river view room 😍 and my brother and his family got the beach view room 😍. Both comfy beds, set up, bathroom, aircon etc. Service from check in was welcoming and friendly, checked us in early 🙏. Parking is $25 a day. We enjoyed a swim in the pool nearly every day that we were there (there's 2 pools). Delicious buffet breakfast every morning with a wide range of variety 😋. Got dinner through room service, yum and dinner downstairs at the social restaurant 😋 lovely service. Washer and dryer came in handy before we flew back to NZ 🙏. Nice, clean, tidy, decor very flash. Loved that our room was tidied every day, but it wasn't vacuumed properly once and it gets dusty quiet quick think it's because of the old aircon. Our wifi played up too, but the technician fixed it quickly so appreciate that. Also has a safe, to keep important belongings safe 🙏. Overall, great stay close to many shops, activities, beach, restaurants. So much to do, love the touristy vibes. Many thanks 😊

Great place to stay, central enough but not right in the centre. Light Rail/Tram stop right at the door so you can easily go north or south for all you dining and shopping needs. If you are staying here make sure to include breakfast you will not be disappointed it is one of the best around. The Seafood buffet is also a good feed on Friday or Saturday nights.

voco Gold Coast by IHG is a more affordable hotel option in the Surfers' Paradise area, where hotel prices tend to be extremely high due to its popularity. The location is excellent, with great restaurants and cafes conveniently situated on the same street, and the tram station is right outside the hotel, making getting around very easy. Additionally, the beach is just a few minutes away, perfect for a quick seaside escape. The hotel room was nice and cozy, providing a comfortable stay. The service was perfect, and I appreciated the complimentary biscuit offered as a welcome gift during check-in. Overall, voco Gold Coast offers great value for money in a prime location with convenient transport links and nearby amenities.

Stayed here for a night. I was impressed with the room. Got a king sized bed, bedding and pillows were pristine clean. The room was spacious for being a single room, enough for two people. The bathroom was nice, came with the essential amenities. There's also a sign that basically states to contact the staff if you require other amenities. We were served by Vinnie. He was extremely nice and informative. He ensures us customers have a good experience. He always asks for feedback.

Thank you so much to The Island Gold Coast! We had such a great stay. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day. The room was quiet too – even though we had neighbours, we didn’t hear a thing. The location is perfect! It’s just behind the busiest spot, and only a few minutes’ walk to the beach, supermarket, light rail station – basically everywhere we needed to go was close by. The pool was lovely, and the spa next to it had warm water, which was such a nice surprise since the Gold Coast was still a bit chilly when we visited. Overall, definitely a great stay – highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at The Island. The staff were very friendly, and we were able to check in early, which was a nice surprise. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The Rooftop bar serves excellent pizzas, and the location is fantastic — plenty of restaurants nearby, walking distance to the beach, and just 300m from the tram station. The only downside was the noise level — we stayed over the weekend, and on Saturday night in particular it was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep until well after midnight.

Tropic went above and beyond when they hosted myself and family for my birthday lunch. We were a small group of 3 and they provided excellent service, going above and beyond with “the little things” such as a birthday note on my arrival and a beautiful piece of cake for our table to share at the end our meal from the Tropic Team with a sparkler and all. It was my dad’s first time here as he is from out of town and he was very impressed and looks forward to returning also. One of the best birthday lunches I have ever had (& I've had a few!). We could not have had a better table which was out of the wind but allowed us to enjoy the brilliant winter sunshine & water, the waitress could not have done any more for us (attentive, without being over the top) & the food was delicious. We will definitely be back & we did manage to convince (didn't take much!!) one of our friends who joined us for a drink, that next time she is down the coast, she is going to book a table at the Tropic. Can't wait to go back. Thank you to the Tropic.

A Sunset Feast at The Tropic – Gold Coast Must-Try 🌅🍴 The Tropic is one of those iconic Gold Coast restaurants that locals and visitors alike seem to rave about—and now I understand why. With so many glowing recommendations online, we made sure not to miss it during our trip. We arrived around 4:30 PM for an early dinner, perfectly timed to enjoy the breathtaking sunset views. And the scenery is absolutely unbeatable. The service was just as impressive. Every staff member greeted us with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel like we were truly on holiday. The relaxed yet attentive atmosphere added so much to the experience. We ordered their specials of the day: a vibrant beetroot salad, half a dozen fresh oysters, delicate fish carpaccios and a rich duck meat pasta and with Tiramisu. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—fresh, balanced, and satisfying.

The Winey Cow, a popular cafe that first opened in 2014 in the Mornington Peninsula and later expanded to the Gold Coast, has gained a reputation for its innovative brunch offerings. The menu features classic breakfast dishes with creative twists, such as chilli scramble croissant and Norwegian eggs with panko-crumbed eggs. Guests can also enjoy endless mimosas for an hour when ordering a main meal.
During our recent holiday on the Gold Coast, we stayed in Main Beach and stumbled upon an absolute gem on our first morning—The Winey Cow. From that first visit, we were hooked. We ended up returning every single morning of our four-night stay, just to try more of their incredible menu. Each visit was a delight. The staff were friendly, and everything we ordered was exceptional—from the presentation to the flavors. If it were possible to give more than five stars, we absolutely would. I came to The Winey Cow twice in one week for their incredible boozy brunch – it's that good! On my first visit, I had the duck salad, which was absolutely to die for – full of flavor and perfectly balanced. On my second go, I tried the granola, and wow… it was out-of-control delicious! Whether you're into savory or sweet, their brunch menu hits the spot. The best part? You get to choose one main meal from the menu and enjoy unlimited mimosas for 1 hour – such a great value for $55. The staff are amazing – so lovely, friendly, and they really know how to keep the drinks flowing without you ever needing to ask. Highly recommend for a fun, relaxed, and tasty brunch experience. It was wonderful to see a venue that not only has an incredible cocktail menu to suit all sorts, but to have the full day menu available for meals was great to see. So often places, even if they are good, have a very limited drink and/or food menu. Between us we tried all the cocktails on the menu and I would not hesitate to shout from the rooftops, The Winey Cow, their brilliant staff along side the vast menu options, are absolutely top tier on the bottomless brunch scale.

We held a hens party brunch at the Winey Cow and all I can say is… Exceptional!!! Andrea was looking after us and was super friendly and constantly went out of her way to look after us. She kept the bottomless mimosas flowing which was amazing! Food was delicious and drinks too notch! Thanks Andrea!

I came to here on Sunday morning. And it was very popular place in GC✨ There were quite a few customers in the restaurant, but Andrea and Rene took good care of our table. And..... The coffee Christine makes is the best!!! The latte art was also very cute. Even though they were busy, I could feel that they were doing their work carefully☕️I love it!

With such a wide variety of delicious breakfast options, we enjoyed something different every morning. The staff were outstanding, the food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was exceptional. Thank you for making our holiday an unforgettable experience.

The inside of the fried chicken is not flavorful and not juicy. The fried chicken is so dry that it is hard to chew and swallow. But the coconut Prawn Taco is very amazing! Angie's service was particularly excellent. The tiramisu coffee she recommended was very delicious and distinctive.

Great spot and probably the best chips I’ve ever had! Great gluten-free bread and veg options! The bigger part of our company had the fish and chips which according to them was really great! Some items/drinks on the menu was a bit overpriced but on the whole a great place worth a visit!

Perfect place to stop for a coffee or breakfast. The coffee( I took a mocha )was so good and the avocado toast yum yum . The prices are reasonable. The sitting so peaceful, the birds come and sit with you haha so cute.

Great food and coffee at Custard Canteen. For a busy weekend the team were super efficient and such a fantastic family atmosphere!

Fantastic location and surroundings, as well as warm and friendly staff, however the food was incredibly average. All though the portions are big the quality is low, I’d even go as far to say the were some of the worse scrambled eggs I’ve had all year. I’d come back for a coffee but not food
Tom Z — Google review
A perfect place to have near the beach, you can choose to sit on their cute picnic tables or easily take everything away for a picnic. My only concern is doing everything out of takeaway packaging regardless of being recycled is eco friendly. Best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Thank you!! Will be back.

Nestled in the heart of Highland Park, Hudson & Rosie's Table is a delightful spot that redefines high tea with a hearty twist. Instead of the usual delicate bites, their two-tiered spread features mouthwatering sliders and crispy hash bites alongside an array of sweets and classic scones. This hidden gem has garnered praise for its consistently fantastic service and delicious food, making it a favorite for both lunch and breakfast gatherings.
My husband and I spontaneously went to check out this place yesterday to celebrate a special day and wow they served the best tasting dishes. Love the coffee, acai, Korean fried chicken/hash bites and their sweet treats were extremely yummy & we didn't wait for long. Thank you for the amazing service:) We will definitely back back to try their Buddha bowl and high tea next time ♡ 5/5 Highly recommended!

What a hidden gem of a place, we came here years ago for high tea, the food was delicious then and the service was fantastic as well, came here again today for lunch and remembered why this place was so great, service was fantastic. We got a table straight away, even tho they were busy, everything came out quickly and the food and coffee were fresh and so delicious. Please open up another one on the northern end of the gold coast! You guys are fantastic

The staff were really friendly, the food was 10/10 delicious. I had the eggs benny on hash brown with bacon and fresh avocado. The hollandaise sauce was the best I have had homemade to perfection. My partner had the buffalo chicken toastie it was seasoned so well packed with flavour the combination was on point. The side chips had a seasoning so much taste! We will be back again. Ice latte with vanilla shot and ice cream was a hit too! Drooling

Fuel Bakehouse in Currumbin is a delightful haven for food lovers, where baker Ben Edwards has redefined the traditional bakery experience. Instead of focusing solely on bread, he has created an enticing menu featuring mouthwatering pies, delectable doughnuts, and exceptional coffee. The slow-cooked beef pies are a standout, taking seven hours to prepare and served in deep-dish style.
I had an amazing experience at Fuel Bakehouse! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the visit feel really pleasant. The best part? The food was not only delicious but also incredibly affordable.
Shannon C — Google review
I’ve been here for over 1 year ago and then it was around 3-4 o'clock. So most of the items were sold out, and there were only hot pies left. (They were still all tasty though!) Finally, I could come back here and I arrived here at 10 AM this time. It was on a weekend so some of them were sold out but still were left then. How popular they are! I love Croffin so I took it home for the next day. It was still flaky but a bit more chewy because of time and the moisture. I warmed it up just a little bit. Then freshness came back! Of course, it is incredibly delicious for dine-in, but surprisingly it was still amazing for the next day! I could feel their professional skills!
N K — Google review

I love my coffee and there’s only a few places on the Gold Coast where I haven’t tasted. Fuel is up there being one of the best. Will definitely be back!
Samuel F — Google review
Very overpriced for products. Pies have a soggy bottom, undercooked. The filling is stringy and overly soft. Hardly any cheese in the chunky cheese. Doughnut tasted like a bread roll filled with custard, despite being a salted caramel doughnut. The wrap had cold chicken in it after being warmed up due to the chicken being too thick. Do not go here unless you want to waste your money.
Soleil R — Google review
The staff were so kind, and the food was delicious with generous servings!! I’m celiac, and there were so many food options, with gluten free food stored in separate cabinets, and all chips and fried food being done in safe celiac fryers. 10/10 would recommend. 😍
Maddy N — Google review
I’ve never come across a place like this. Absolutely nailed it in every aspect. Some places specialise coffe or in pies and sausage rolls, others in sandwiches or croissants.. this place does EVERYTHING and they do it so well with a vibe to boot! I especially love the pies, which are nice and deep and full of proper steak. Also the croissants were buttery and flaky some of the best of ever had. My one regret is not trying the Vegemite and cheese croissant. It looked awesome! I’ll be there for sure

Just tried out this Italian restaurant, and wow—it did not disappoint! The pizza special was amazing, and I got to customize it just how I like it. The crust was perfect, the toppings were fresh. The fries were crispy, the cocktails were spot on, and the whole vibe was just great. The staff was super friendly, constantly checking in to make sure we were happy. The food was absolutely delicious! The lasagna and tagliatelle al ragù were both amazing — rich, and truly authentic. The limoncello was creamy, and the tiramisu was perfect. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. One small note — the lasagna is listed as a large portion on the menu, but it’s actually quite small.
Valentina P — Google review
Their noodle absolutely tasted amazing for sure. But Morton bay bug spaghetti and calamari are not impressive at all and size a bit small for adult. There are only two little pieces of Morton bay bug meat on noodle and it cost 38 bucks. Similar price. I will go to Mario rather than this restaurant.

My family and I had such a wonderful time, celebrating my daughters’ bdays. Jack was a superstar staff, undeniably great at his job and has excellent customer service skills. Very accommodating without a fuss. Food and drinks arrived timely and were satisfying.
MJ C — Google review
We had high hopes for this Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. Everything we ordered was overly salty to the point of being almost inedible. The biggest issue, however, was the Moreton Bay Bug Pizza (for $37), we essentially paid for dough and cheese, as the seafood was completely raw. When we pointed this out to our waiter, they brought out a replacement, but upon inspecting it, the bug was still raw and blue. We told them again, but they insisted it was cooked, even though it was clearly not. At that price point, we expected much better quality and basic food safety standards. Definitely won’t be returning.
Jess — Google review
Flavours good but the portion side for main or "large plates" was misrepresented, especially for the price! We both left hungry...
Sarah T — Google review
We had a lovely evening dining at Lunas Broadbeach. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, service was excellent. The only rule/restriction here was we had to order one drink each. The negroni was excellent as was the house made Lemon lime bitters. The staff explained their oysters were chosen by the restaurants ‘oyster catcher’ who researches the best regions to source oysters. Pasta dishes were really good with house made pasta and the tiramisu so good we ordered second helpings.
Cath W — Google review
The food we were served was nice but the portions were quite small and the menu was limited - there is also a huge pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant, but no option to order a pizza (we checked with the staff and they said sorry, they only use it to make a child’s pizza if requested). The waitress was very friendly and attentive. It was overall a nice dining experience, even though we all left still feeling a bit hungry even after sharing some starters and each having our own main course.

Hubby had B&E roll as he always does when visiting a new cafe and this would be his basis if its good and coffee as well and he said its really good! The coffee & matcha was great big mug! Coffee is fantastic. Vietnamese chicken salad delicious too .... But not sold on the Nasi Goreng...had a strong flavour that I think was garlic from jar... Maybe they put too much in... And it was pretty exxy too . I'm surprised my kid ate it all. But I'm still giving 5 stars because it's a cool spot and the coffee is excellent.

Absolutely love Refinery Coffee! The coffee is spot on every time! The food is always balanced, and full of flavour. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious (you can tell they use quality ingredients). What really makes it special is the team: The new owners are hands on, always ensuring they greet everyone with friendly smiles, attentive service, and quick even when it’s busy. The industrial chic look makes it so inviting and a bonus you can bring your dogs to chill outside while eating. A perfect local spot—5 stars from me!

Went here on a whim and glad we did. Sensational breakfast and very good coffee. It's seems very popular with people coming and going all morning. Well priced and very helpful staff. Sat at the outside table which was nice but being on a busy road in an industrial area it was loud. Will look to sit inside next time because we will go back.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. The coffee (an espresso) was so so, the juice was delicious albeit quite pricy for the size. We were actually coming for lunch because we saw mention of a reuben sandwich in past reviews, however were quite disappointed to see that the current menu didn't include it so ended up going elsewhere. 100000% recommend! The customer service is above and beyond. Went here for a birthday breakfast and a lovely lady surprised me with a birthday brownie, all of the staff were so friendly and pleasant to be around, even went out of their way to write a little message on the cup. Food is great, great portions, the banana pudding drink 10/10, do yourself a favour and come for a meal asap 🥰🥳 Also loved the deck of uno cards and deck of monopoly cards, such a unique touch to the cafe and the environment is great as well. Love that you can see out whilst still having protection from the wind and it even has a nice toasty gas lamp xx Also noticed people had their paw pals with them which I think is awesome as well, honestly can’t stop praising this place

I loved this place so much J came back the next day! Highly Recommend, DELISH food! As a girly who tries to avoid seed oils I fell in-love with the fact that this entire cafe is seed oil free. I ordered the Matcha with their homemade almond milk, the milk was creamy & honestly better than store bought. The Turkish eggs are incredible also, SO flavoursome and wholesome. I didn’t feel heavy after my meal either so that’s a big plus. I also tried the hotcake with lemon curd and the only downside was that I was too full to finish it. This place is delightful.

My Favourite Baker has truly earned its reputation as a cherished gem in the community, especially for those last-minute cake emergencies. Whether it's a special occasion or just a sweet craving, they come through with stunning creations that taste as good as they look. Many customers have shared their delightful experiences ordering from My Favourite Baker.
Christmas cupcakes were delightful, we love to have a theme. Love how easy it is to upload a picture. My second time ordering, my whole family use this service for all occasions. Birthday cake: Excellent service, the chocolate mudd cake and icing were delightful. Ordered a small cake as a little surprise to a big Spider-Man fan. There was plenty more left over after four people had a slice. We will be back for more occasions. Cake was packed in a lovely box with a message and balloon. Easy to use website and pick up. 🎂👌
Shelley R — Google review
I have never had a more disappointing and really bad tasting “Birthday Cake” in my life. Let’s start with the taste. It tasted like straight up white sugar and nothing else in the icing except frozen sugar, so sweet my teeth felt like they would snap off. The rest of the cake tasted like a $2 brownie box cake you can buy from Woolworths. Let’s talk about the size. Imagine paying $70 for a cake that’s smaller than a TV remote or the Knife you will use to cut it, and that’s your birthday cake to share with everybody? 😂 maybe a cake enough to feed a few birds? Please ✋🏻 save your money and goto the Cheesecake shop for $50 you can get a cake with triple the size and a fancy message written on the top, much better customer service in my opinion and much better quality and quantity. It’s very clear from the google reviews that there is a big problem with the person who runs this shop, not taking on board feedback from the customers and instead wanting to justify their poor quality service. This is totally unacceptable and unfair for the customers. It’s misleading and falsely advertised. My recommendation is to not buy any cake from them, save your money and your peace of mind.

We ordered a cake from My Favourite Baker. Aesthetically the cake looked beautiful, well presented, and a friendly team who called me to make sure I was coming to pick up my cake before the cut off time on that day, which I felt was very professional however, if you are looking for a traditional mud cake, this is not the place for you. It is simply a moist Chocolate cake with a very bland flour. We were quite disappointed when they clearly stated of their famous mud cake. Do not be fooled if the owner replies to this comment saying that I never ordered from them so here is a photo of the inside of our so-called mud cake

The Crispy Chicken burger is the only only on the Gold Coast that use Chicken Thighs 🐔 plus the seasoned house Batter on the chicken is light and crunchy 😋 it comes with Avocado and Spicy Mayo!!!!! So unfortunate to be leaving this review. When placing our order we were told that they had run out of cutlery but should have some by the time our food was ready. And it took 50 minutes for mine to come out, one would certainly think so. 3 of the 5 meals came to the table at the 30 minute mark but no cutlery. We asked a waiter to get some for us. He disappeared into the kitchen but didn’t come back. In the meantime, the pasta dish went cold. We then asked again a second time at which point we got the cutlery but had to have the pasta reheated. Not sure why we bothered because there was that much chili oil in it that it was inedible and went to waste. This is someone who loves spice so it was really bad. Fish and chips were apparently the only saving grace. Fish taco was okay but $23 for one taco seems a bit steep. 20 minutes later mine and my son’s meal arrived. Mine was ok. No steak knife given so I had to try and cut it with a butter knife. Very small serve of runny gravy. My son’s burger was ordinary. Only just warm so cheese didn’t melt even a little bit and was like rubber. Coffees arrived and one was cold. I could understand the wait times if it was busy but there was barely a soul in sight. You’d think it would be nice and quiet considering but music was soooo loud we had to raise our voices to speak to each other! Very sad to say we will not be back.

Our little group of three wandered in to this lovely lounge style café/bar (sophisticated pub really) the night before the GC marathon. There were some cozy corners, open dining areas and an outdoor bar area with gas heating on a coolish evening. A giant TV in the lounge area for those wanting to watch current footy games or sporting events. It was not a busy night and our experience was very positive. Very pleasant, welcoming staff and we were invited to sit anywhere we pleased. Order and pay at the bar. The pizza bianca was possibly the best I have ever eaten. The seafood linguini was good (very garlicky so be aware!) and apparently the fish burrito was ‘okay’. I would go back just for the pizza and plan to before heading home. I believe the burgers are excellent! 4.5 ⭐️ Update - went back again for the yummy pizza and some sweet potato chips before leaving the GC - we were not disappointed! 🍕 🍟👍

My family and I decided to check out the social house for a quiet dinner. Unfortunately we were very disappointed after waiting 50 minutes for our food to come out cold and no apologies besides that’s the standard wait time whilst there is not a single person in sight. A simple apologies would have gone a long way after we stated that it would have be good to know the wait time as we have a 2 year old not getting dinner till 9pm. All that would have been needed was a bit of communication that it was going to be x amount of time and we would have organised something different. Very disappointing and awful cold food to top it off.

This little gem offers an array of delectable European desserts that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The warm and friendly customer service makes every visit enjoyable, while their almond croissant stands out as a must-try—flaky, buttery perfection!
This pastry shop is an absolute gem! The customer service is warm and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. Their almond croissant is simply the best we’ve ever tasted – perfectly flaky, buttery, and delicious. The shop offers a wide range of mouth-watering treats, and their coffee is the perfect companion for any pastry. Make sure to get there early, as their goodies tend to sell out fast. They also provide delivery, making it easy to enjoy their treats at home. Whether you drop in for a quick coffee or indulge in a pastry, this place is a must-try!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the owners of this little patisserie. We ordered a chocolate birthday cake recently ( our usual patisserie was closed) so we where nervous about trying somewhere new but we were super impressed. The cake was delicious, not over sweet, not dry and looked beautiful! Highly recommended you give these guys a go if you have a special occasion coming up.

My French Pastries has the most divine food. The food is amazing with exquisite flavours. Online ordering is easy and the staff are so obliging and helpful. Highly recommend 👌

Very Cute Shop at Quay shops on Robina Parkway. Friendly Staff. Had a Quiche Lorraine & a Latte. Wasn’t asked if I was eating in & both were served in Cardboard ! Quiche was Only Just Warm. Considering it spent an Eternity in the Microwave. I’m hopeless with those Disposable Coffee Cups & Plastic Lids & Ended up Wearing Some of It. Other patrons had Proper Crockery. Would have Preferred if I had Too !

Lovely little spot with "the best coffee on the Gold Coast" according to my mother. Friendly staff and amazing french pastries. We tried the almond croissant and raspberry tart. The tart was beautiful and not too sweet. The almond croissant was delicious.

I organised for My French Pastries to deliver a chocolate cake for my mother in law's birthday dinner and it was DELICIOUS!! Everyone went back for seconds. I appreciated the advice to take the cake out of the fridge 30 mins before serving, which made it perfect 👌 highly recommend.

We ordered & were asked if we wld like our savouries heated, yes please that wld be lovely as it was raining & we had an early start to our day. We watched the male server heat the same savoury for a customer before us & he took care checked it often which took some time, we thought great ours will be lovely and warm just like that customers. Unfortunately ours was very cold still, so cold we couldn't eat them. There had been no care in the serving, stone cold. What's really disappointing is that he knew they were cold. We spent a decent amount of money there & its a big drive from where we reside, we visit often & service previously had been great. Not sure why he chose to serve this but bad news travels faster than good news. Totally disappointed in your service.

Ms Margots Bar and Eats is a sophisticated and cool cafe that offers an all-day share menu with a variety of dishes. The only downside is that it is located in a lobby, so it may not be your ideal spot to eat. The cocktails look and taste amazing, though!
I recently visited Ms. Margot's coffee shop at the lobby of the Hilton and had a wonderful experience! The service was top-notch - friendly and attentive staff made sure I felt welcome and taken care of. The atmosphere was modern and sleek, with comfortable seating that invited me to linger over my coffee. I loved the artwork on display, which added a touch of personality to the space. But what really impressed me was the cleanliness and comfort of the air-conditioned environment - a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle outside. Overall, I highly recommend Ms. Margot's coffee shop for a great cup of coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

“Fantastic spot in Surfers Paradise! Ms Margot’s has a great mix of style and comfort – perfect for a casual drink or a nice meal. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed, with a touch of elegance. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavour, with plenty of options to suit any taste. The cocktails are excellent – creative, balanced, and made with care. The staff really make the experience stand out – friendly, attentive, and happy to make recommendations. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy good food and drinks, and feel well looked after. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks, Ms Margot’s is a must-visit when you’re in the area. Highly recommend!”

Had the high tea here last weekend and it was really nice food and amazing service. The staff couldn’t do more to serve you. Would recommend the pina colada

Everything was perfect for me to propose to my girlfriend. The staff were fantastic and made our day go smoothly and perfectly. No request was too much for them and they added their own little touches to give us the most beautiful memories. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the drinks kept coming as soon as we were ready and the quiet , small, intimate setting was perfect for me to propose with all of my nervousness. She said YES 💍❤️

Very nice cocktails here and very friendly staff. Apart from fun and a bit noisy bars also just in the centre of Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, we chose here to enjoy our cocktails in super nice, small and quiet place. It was located inside Hilton hotel and it was not busy at all. Their signature cocktails are $22/ea and classic cocktails are $21/ea. Highly recommend to try all of their signature cocktails because all of them were so great. We tried 4 of them and was so impressed by the taste. Love it so much. However, the toilet there is just for hotel customers, so you can use the one in Paradise Centre which is a short walk from the bar.

Always appreciative of cafes open beyond 4pm :) This place has some great hot beverages and the service is especially exceptional. Kudos to the male barista, whose name we don’t remember, but he made our visit memorable with his kind service.

A very nice Cafe in the foyer of the Hilton Surfers Paradise. The food is fresh and well presented. It is the perfect balance of tastes, without being overwhelming. The staff are friendly and helpful from the moment you arrive until you leave. The food is a little over priced, but you are paying for the service and convenience. Meals are ready quickly and there are a range of seating options available.

I am a regular local customer at Ms Margot's Surfers Paradise, but management decided to say at 7:30pm on a very busy Saturday night in Surfers that the coffee machine was closed. The staff are fantastic, but this Manager on tonight, Saturday 25th October 2025, was a disappointment. No worries, we just take our business else where.

Lounge
Nestled within the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Panorama Lounge is a delightful haven for those seeking an exquisite high tea experience. This charming lounge offers a stunning selection of teas, delectable sandwiches, and mouthwatering pastries served on elegant three-tiered platters. Guests can savor their coffee or lunch while soaking in the breathtaking views of the lush property grounds and fairways that create a serene atmosphere.
The sparkling wine hits the spot - it's perfect! Tasty Sandwiches "You will not be disappointed!" OMGOODNESS the 2 freshly baked Scones that morning with fresh jam and cream again you will not be disappointed! Then the top tier didn't get eaten we took all the treats home because we were soo full! Look at the photos. I also asked for non chicken sandwiches for my mum and they were delivered on a separate plate. Great high tea at an affordable price!! Highly recommend. The view of the golf course is truly relaxing.

Within the atrium of the RACV royal pines lies this quaint Cafe lounge. Honestly, I did not expect to enjoy a high tea from first glance. Staff are a bit younger and shy however are very friendly once being served. Coffee was sub par tea was average. The sandwiches were fresh. Desserts were decadent and enjoyable. I personally loved the warm soft scones, done right for a welcomed high tea whilst sitting back on some comfortable lounges overlooking the gardens.
Jordan K — Google review
Beautiful staff working at Panorama Lounge, very friendly and happy. The menu could be a bit better in offering a larger range of dishes. What we ordered was quite delicious but our decisions were limited. The atmosphere could be more in line with the view from the Lounge with some calm background music, some deep lounges, private little corners for those looking for a more retreat time.
Aie A — Google review
Disappointing service! I have been to high tea on a Saturday on the higher levels (cannot remember the lounge name) and it was amazing. So I thought we would go again during the week. But here the main service lady looked like she would rather be anywhere else and I did not see her smile once. We had to ask for tea and coffee after 15 minutes sitting there. We felt rushed ordering tea so I missed out the first round as she never asked me. Food was ok. Overall would not go back during the week. Everything would have been made much better had the service been good

The food was so average and totally overpriced! Terrible pizza and such an average burger - no love in the food! Very disappointing!

First time that I have been to High Tea. Today was great, all that I imagined. The company was fabulous. Food and service was magnificent. Great views.

High tea experience is great value for money. The staff looked after us very well that morning. The occasion was a friend's birthday for which they brought over some surprise chocolates and birthday message, I was very happy for that and grateful that good customer service in hospitality still exists. It is a nice and quiet place for coffee and catch up with friends, Royal Pines is still a busy place but nobody bothered us or got in our way. Thank you to the staff I think their names were Tatiana, Monica and Chloe that morning, when I went grocery shopping across the road At Coles afterwards and mentioned where I'd just been the checkout server also commended Panorama Lounge for the value of the high tea and good service, thank you again!! When my family visits next year we will be back

I've never seen so much froth on top of a latte. And for some unknown reason, they bought me extra milk in a jug. Pale, weak, horrible coffee.
