A beautiful venue for craft beer enthusiasts! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves trying different kinds of beers. During our visit, there was an event full of energy, with everyone wearing cowboy hats and having a great time. We tried their tasting platter, which included Ginger and Apple Cider, Low Carb Pale Ale, Pacific Ale, and Lager. Each beer was better than the last. The venue also offers a variety of board games, adding to the overall fun experience. Highly recommended for a lively and enjoyable outing.

Check out Black Hops Brewery - 15 Gardenia Grove, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 Heads We popped in today for a quiet beer. This microbrewery hidden in the backstreets of Burleigh is a little gem and if you haven't gone and checked it out then you need to put it on the list. A good variety of beers on tap or you can grab yourself a tasting platter and sample a few. They also have takeaways in the fridge so you can grab a roadie. 🍻🍺

Popped into Black Hops Brewery on a Saturday at 12:30pm, keen for some food and a few drinks — as you’d expect at lunchtime on the weekend. But there was no food available when we arrived. We were told the food truck wouldn’t be ready for another half an hour. Honestly, that’s pretty disappointing planning for a Saturday midday crowd.

Would highly recommend a stop by! Great little brewery. $16 for a paddle of 4 tasters. Ginger cider available for those who don’t like beer. Mostly Ales - IPA dominant. Recommend trying the Geodie - much lighter than we thought and a nice surprise! Plenty of seating arrangements and was a good vibe with music but not too loud. Plenty of tables, an arrangement of merchandise and the chance to buy bottles of stock and larger casks for those more local. No tour on offer just tasting.

Black hops brewery has a great selection of craft beers, we ordered the tasting paddle, I must the portions were generous. I noticed they were providing brewery tours, explaining the beer making process.

Cosy spot set back from highway, unsuspecting location, but welcoming boutique brewery when you get there. Only open Wednesday to Sunday and closes at 6 on Sunday evening, so go in time to try a few on the menu. We recommend Send It or Lay Day for good all round beers that taste like beer. Ladies may enjoy Pink Mist, with raspberry finish- tho has a strong unusual aroma. Beaut place and friendly staff. No food there.

Went for the Canada day food menu. All the food served we great. The chips there are to die for. The atmosphere is so great and they had heaters on because it was cold. I will be going back soon!

A spot with so many kinds of craft beer on tap! 🍺✨ You can try a tasting flight for under $20—so many choices, it’s hard to decide. Meals come in generous portions, definitely great value. For kids, they even serve ice cream topped with cotton candy 🍦🍭 And there are plenty of other “wow” dishes on the menu. Such a fun place to visit!

Had dinner here with my partner, straight away the lovely waitress was so polite and helpful with our menu selection and local brew options, the surf and turf pizza we ordered was delicious and the wings were full of flavour. Would recommend for a nice dinner and beverage!

Crispy Salmon ($33.95): Dipping the salmon into the hollandaise sauce is absolutely a great idea and it’s boneless and love the crispy fish skin. The chips are also delicious and crispy. However, I’m allergic to garlics and there are garlic chips and garlics in the sauce on top of the salmon but I still tried my best to avoid them to enjoy the rest of the meal. Virgin Above The Clouds (All Mocktails $14.95): It’s pretty cool that all their cocktails and mocktails are served with a dry ice cup. The blue fairy floss also makes it look exceptional. The drink itself is quite seedy, tarted and delightful. I appreciate most of the dishes having photos on the menu and there are daily specials at very low prices but expensive if you order the same way as me. The restaurant has mostly been with many vacancies every time I pass by and the service staff are all great. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!

Really enjoyed the wide range of Australian beers. The service was good early. And the staff helpful throughout. But they got busy later, and didn't seem to have enough people on, so I was waiting for a while. The meal I had was disappointing. Bland, unseasoned, soggy meat - a massive let down. It's so easy to make pulled brisket taste good if you want to.

An absolutely wonderful experience start to finish. From the ambience, to the service to the beer—of course! The pizza was delicious and the beers were perfect. I had my preferences but every one was worth trying. The story of the owners is so inspiring and the whole experience is beautifully curated. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Madocke Brewery, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing with my family as its kids and pet friendly! The staff are incredibly smiling and knowledgeable, making great recommendations . I especially appreciated the attention to detail in both the brewing process and the presentation. The boss lady is awesome she an enthusiast host and welcomed all of us with her big smile ! Cherry on the cake is the food that was awesome! Thanks guys Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Beer quality is world class and the consistency is amazing. Some of the best Belgian style beers I’ve ever had. Connor was very informative, passionate and was great for a chat. Pizzas were also very tasty. One of the best breweries I’ve been to. Fantastic job 🤌🏼

What a wonderful find.Had 8 samples and found a new favourite beer. We also delved into some food, Calamari special ..best Calamari I have ever tasted, then the Cowboy pizza, had the most delicious hot salami 😋 in it, paying for it the next day.😂

What a little gem! Don't be put off by the proximity to the main road, the terrace is set up with gates to keep children and dogs in as well as plants around the sides to give a nice barrier from the road. The beer is absolutely delicious; proper Italian pizza that is the best one on the coast! Most importantly, pet friendly which makes it all so much better!

What an exceptional range of beers. I loved sampling their extensive range, and chatting about beer throughout the afternoon I spent here. Something for the casual beer drinker, as well as plenty for the craft beer nerds.

Worrells GC hosts corporate events at the Madocke Beer Brewing Private function room frequently. Our delegates network while enjoying house made Pizza's from Double Zero, craft beers and refreshments downstairs in the brewery prior to the events. We went for the distillery tour. One of the best experiences and a must do. Take a trip down memory lane and feel like you’re one of the family. Learn all about Granddad Jack and the journey to the creation of this unique family distillery. Then learn about whiskey and gin distilling while trying the amazing award winning creations. Highly recommend this tour if you have time but if not just go in have a drink and chat to the amazingly friendly and welcoming staff. And explore their top notch core range or unique small batches. There is something for everyone so make a day of it! Order some Uber eats right to you or bring your own grazing board. We will be back. So many times we’ve walked past this place and today finally decided to try it - wow what an amazing venue. A welcoming host, delicious cocktails, a relaxing atmosphere and cozy set up - cannot recommend this place high enough. Espresso martini were one of the best ones we’ve had on the Gold Coast, the little compliments from the bar - we are definitely coming back. Well worth all the 5 star reviews!

What a great afternoon! We did the distillery tour at Granddad Jack’s Miami with Zac (the operations manager), and he was absolutely brilliant - super friendly, funny, and really knows his stuff. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does and proud of the quality they produce. My wife (45) and I (51) booked the one-hour tour but ended up staying for three because we were having such a good time. We tried the whiskey release, smoked old fashioned, and No.2 Cut Throat, all top notch, along with a delicious cheese platter. Every drink tasted amazing and full of quality. The venue has such a great vibe, relaxed but full of personality. We enjoyed every minute and even put our names on the membership waitlist. And Zac, if you’re reading this, remember, shelf 23 has my name on it! 😉

Great laid back vibe, 10/10 country music playlist, comfy couches, gin tasting paddle very well presented (and delicious!) and staff very informative. Overall 10/10 experience. P.s can’t find the Polaroid camera.

We stopped by for a quick whisky tasting while on holiday, looking for nice place with good drinks and Granddad Jacks definitely delivered! The atmosphere was great, the staff were awesome, great for a chat and the whisky was fantastic! We had our kids with us and they also felt very comfortable Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

I attended a birthday party at my Granddad Jack last week, and the experience was fantastic. Our table was exceptionally well looked after by Ana, who did an amazing job keeping us happy and ensuring everything was perfect. Ana is truly an asset to the place! The atmosphere was vibrant, with fantastic live music that set the mood. The drinks were top-notch, and overall, it was a memorable experience. This place is amazing! It was such a unique experience and positive atmosphere, making other places incomparable to Grandad Jack’s! The cocktails were so delicious and the live music was so engaging and fun. The team were all so friendly, especially Lauren who had such a magnetic and positive energy and vibe. My first visit to Bine could not have gone worse. Order my drink, asked for a vodka cranberry, comes out a yellow colour so I questioned the female bartender with shorter hair, asking again if it was cranberry juice and she confirmed. Walked back to my table and tasted it, was apple juice. Secondly ordered fries for the table, they came out super stale, asked the same bartender for a fresh batch of chips and she proceeded to taste one from my bowl with no gloves on and said that’s how they serve their chips here and refused to replace the bowl. Extremely disappointed with this service and knowledge of staff. Will not be back.

Bine Bar is our local.... Soooo we may be biased.. However they have the best Happy Hour daily 3 to 6pm $6 Beers which let's be honest is a rare deal down this end of the coast. The staff are friendly, and if your lucky they have some live music on. We love it here and with so many places to choose from on the coast we definitely recommend it and they always have cheap bites to eat on their special boards.

Service from the red haired bartender was awful, very rude from start to finish and this isn’t the first time. Infact a lot of the bar staff had poor attitude.

Good size bar, friendly staff, and great happy hour and wing specials on Wednesdays. We had the extra hot wings which were great but did not find them hot at all. But 5$ drinks until 6pm made for a great place to hang for a few hours.

The absolute worst meal I have ever eaten on the Gold Coast and worst from Deliveroo. Menu Item is 'Pot Pie' with Creamy Mash and Buttered Vegetables. Pot was plastic throw away container and everything was cold. 'Creamy Mash' was a dried glob of potatoes. 'Buttered Vegetables' probably straight from fridge to plastic container, topped with uncooked and dry pastry. 'Buttered carrots had green ends attached. Never, ever again. Bine Bar should stick to alcohol and chicken wings or hire qualified chefs who care about what and how they cook.

We came for pre dinner drinks. Bar has a great atmosphere, and a great selection of cocktails and drinks. The only reason I can’t give the service 5 star is due to my partner being served the wrong beer, twice. Can’t fault the cocktails, they were delicious and beautifully presented. We didn’t eat here so no comment on the food aside from what I saw plated and served looked delicious - burgers, wings and hotdogs

Service was great and overall atmosphere was also good, however, the food was underwhelming for me...and the food is the most important for me. We ordered several burgers. Overall, they were ok. I found them a little overpriced. The chips were very good, very tasty and had a great crunch. I feel that the chips should have been included in the burger price. The presentation of the restaurant was clean and organised. Stocked a great selection of beers and spirits. In summary I would classify this place as a great place for a few beers and drinks, but not recommended if you are after a place to eat.

Starters were delicious. Hotdog a hit. Pizza had something missing. We didn’t have a great table with way too much passing traffic and it was hard to wave down staff to order but would go back as the menu had something for everyone and there is a very cool vibe.

Came over for a sporting comp and it was very very busy. We didn’t have a reservation and we were greeted with friendliness and guided to a table. With it being so busy we thought it would take long but the service was great and fast. Food was not bad and huge portions great value for money. Decorated for Halloween maybe looked awesome! Atmosphere was great apart from a few drunk people , 1 even climbed up on the bar which I felt was odd. Over all had a great time.

We came once for lunch and once for dinner, then once again for drinks. They could accommodate a large group and served all of us at the same time. Food was delicious, nice burgers, nice steaks, pasta and chicken wings.

The beef ribs were very good — tender and full of flavour. However, the empanadas were quite disappointing: they were very small, and the actual dish looked nothing like the image shown on the menu, which feels misleading.

This pub has a lot of beers to choose from. I tried the beer paddle. It had like 4-5 small beers I had a burger it was so nice. Very big serving and cooked to perfection I did need to put it together see photos.

Love my pizza. My family enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere is lively and busy but we still managed to book a table for 11 so that was great! Wide variety of food to cater to all the different dietary requirements so that was good.

$26 Fish & Chips (& Salad) well worth the cost. The beer battered fish was perfectly light and crunchy, chips equally so. Fantastic! $38 Fish & Chips with Prawns, Scallops and Salt & Pepper Calamari was equally delightful. Great quality fresh food, fast service, lovely atmosphere indoors & out (especially when it wasn't too busy). Slightly less personalised service as you're encouraged to order via QR codes, but otherwise fabulous!

Had potential in every way, other than the food. Nothing freshly cooked here. Had to get the chainsaw out to get through the skins of the sausage. The scrambled egg was so rubbery that my fork proudly stood to attention and would not move. The mushrooms were so scary that they reminded me of the Leongatha mushroom killer. I took the bacon home to resole my shoes. I am told the coffee was good. * I will contact the owner tomorrow, as invited, I will begin by thanking them for the invitation. Everyone can have a bad day but an offer of a discussion is a good start.

Came from NZ, booked a reservation online. When we got there, atmosphere was great! Very friendly staff, greeted us as we arrived showed us our table and said if we want can move anywhere else. Ordered food and drinks on QR code everything was so easy! Food came fast and was delicious . All and all lovely experience will deff be back next time we visiting.

The restaurante is perfect. The service was very good. The food was perfect. But I felt very uncomfortable when I was ordering, the waitress came and put up a reserved sign. So I asked what time the reservation would be. She told me it would be in three hours. So they could wait for the customers to leave the tables so they could clean and put up the reserved sign. I felt like they were telling me to leave! I found that disgusting!

Nice place right in the surfer paradise. Always busy and lots of people around. It's open until late morning, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I loved the pizza and the pizza platter pack was a good value. Good choice of beer and drinks. They don't have beer towers tho, however they have a good variety of cocktails.

Come to celebrate with family last night for our VIRGO BIRTHDAY DINNER. Food was great, tasty & everyone loved what they ordered too many to tell you as we had a party of 30 (including 4 young children). Compliments to the chef last night an AMAZING JOB for bringing our food out at timely manner. Atmosphere was lively, watching games live & all main sports on screen catered for everyone. Staff was lovely.

Chicken Parmi ($29): It’s served with chips and a salad. This might be the best chicken schnitzel I’ve ever had. The coatings are extremely crunchy and the chicken is fresh and tender. The tomato sauce, cheese, and ham do a lot of tricks to the schnitzels. The chips are also delicious, well seasoned, and not greasy. Besides, non-alcoholic drinks cost from $3 to $5.6, Lemon, Lime & Bitters $5.8, Red Bull $8.3 (smallest size). The entrance to the restaurant is right next to the gate to shopping centre and you can easily come here by the light rail and get off at Cavill Avenue. The security will tell you to show your ID before entering the pub. The bartender is quite nice and he’ll give you a pager to collect your food at the pick up section. There are a lot of TVs playing sports matches and I like the music played and how spacious it is compared to other restaurants. You scan the QR code to see the menu and a lot of dishes and drinks are customisable. Overall, superb food, relaxing vibes, great staff and security, a 9.5 out of 10!

“I had a great time at the Surfers Paradise Beer Garden. The atmosphere is awesome – open, fresh, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. There’s always something happening here, from live music to sports on the big screens, and even fun games like giant Jenga and Connect Four which makes it different from your usual pub. The food was fresh, tasty, and good value, and the drink selection had plenty of options. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which really made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can chill out in the afternoon with a drink or kick on into the evening with a bit more energy. Definitely one of the best spots in Surfers for a casual and fun night out

Monday night. Public holiday. Cavill Ave pumping as usual. Debating on where to go for dinner and found this place, which I last frequented on a football trip 20 years ago! Obviously it had had a few updates since then and upon walking in had a great vibe! It was busy but not packed so getting a table for 6 was relatively easy. Great yet simple menu. All the staples were there. There was a mix up with our order and an ordered Parmi was missing which they quickly rectified. It’s a place that oozes partying and late nights however for us on Monday needing a feed, it was great!

Absolutely worst Caesar salad I’ve ever had made, asked for grilled chicken as an optional $6 extra was given some sort of morrocan chicken and the sauce was like white water. No way that was a Caesar sauce was disgusting and staff couldn’t have given a stuff they all looking at each other. Do not go here if your looking for a quality meal in surfers, husbands calamari also cold and rubbery. Avoid Avoid Avoid !!! Waited for seemed like ages too and the place is empty and now we know why!

I always come here evr weekly. Passion fruit thing is ma fav ever tried. Ofc all of staff are nice. Beau helps me a lot with nice smile !!! See you next week

I attended a gin class earlier this year, and it was a fantastic experience. Eve, the teacher, was charismatic and knowledgeable, making sure everyone felt supported and confident. She guided us so well that each person left with a gin they truly enjoyed. I’m looking forward to returning for another class.

My partner and I adore Wildflower Distillery. The team are so welcoming and the drinks are exceptional. Eve’s dry and dirty gin martini is the best I’ve had. They also do a range of creative cocktails and stunning G&T combinations. The venue is dog friendly which means that on weekends we can enjoy a tipple while our border collie gets his fill of pats. If you’re looking for a great gift idea their gin making masterclass is super fun. I’ve also recently signed on to their gin subscription which is a great value way to try really interesting flavours you won’t find elsewhere. First bottle was pineapple and habanero (incredible). We love having Wildflower in our community! Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been.

Had a family function here, Eve and the staff put it together absolutely wonderfully with drinks (including great mocktails for us designated drivers!), some of the best pizza I've had in a long while, and gin making. Nothing short of amazing!

The friendliness, passion and expertise from bartender Eve always creates a great time for my husband and I and whoever we bring along with us. Eve is one of the most bubby beautiful and friendly humans you will ever meet. You guys should create a video of Eve telling your story! She is gold. Also shout out to Pizza Man Steve! .Several months ago, after a fantastic dinner at The Stratton, I signed up for the Wildflower Gin subscription—and I’ve been hooked ever since. Every few months, a new bottle arrives, and so far, every single one has been outstanding. This month’s delivery was a real standout: a Yuzu and Sansho gin, paired with a bottle of Burleigh chilli and kiwi fruit sauce, plus a cocktail recipe that was nothing short of spectacular. Without a doubt, this is the best gin subscription I’ve ever had. Wildflower’s creativity, flavour pairings, and attention to detail continue to blow me away. Highly recommend to any gin lover.

The lovely human behind the bar was wonderful, divine, friendly and just so much fun. The cocktails are next level good, the venue is cosy and gorgeous. I would happily sit here and get drunk on delicious gin any day of the week!

Great selection of beers ranging from local beers and beyond. Exactly what Tugun needed. Great vibe and sometimes live acoustic. Very chilled. Food was lovely too and so were the bloody Mary's and whiskey sours. Good service although the beers take a long time to pour.. longer than normal.

How great is this place ? Driving past Tugun Village I spotted the NEW Craft House Bar & restaurant. After looking around some of the Village shops , my wife and I decided to check out the Craft House Bar at 3pm and already it was starting to get busy. We were greated by an ever smiling Brazilian (Caio) behind the bar .After asking if it was our first time there he immediately explained the choices . You can choose a 6 glass sampler paddle ($24)or by the schooner ($9.50) . I had a schooner of Green Beacon Cutwater Hazy IPA (a lazy 6%) and was definitely not disappointed. My wife (who doesn't drink beer ) had a taste & said she could probably down a small one but settled on a very nice rose'($12). We browsed the food menu and it appeared to have a good selection to enjoy with your drinks . Sure , these places aren't cheap just to sit and have a big session but a great atmosphere to enjoy with your friends. I will be back . .Update Feb. 2019 .Beer prices have now changed . Schooners are now priced from $7.50 to $13.50.& Caio has gone back to Brazil .Paddle taster now up to $27.00 . I guess the honeymoon period is over ? Still great atmosphere & menu . Although beer choice with the special meal is THEIR choice not yours . (a mid strength).Best to also check new trading hours before going .

Great vibe and atmosphere, location could be better (on a main road.) Some food portions were small but delish, sweet potato wedges were to die for, great beer selection and I liked the paddles

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy drinks w mates. There was live music playing and the staff were friendly. The interior and exterior are beautiful. Love the glasses which the tap beers are served in. Great little addition to Tugun.

We had our baby shower at Hard FIZZ HQ yesterday and honestly, it was beyond perfect! The open space, sunny day, the vibe, the staff — everything was amazing. A huge shoutout to Kim, who went above and beyond to help us plan and bring our vision to life. She was so kind, accommodating, and made the whole process feel effortless. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how smoothly the day ran. We felt so supported and celebrated, and it’s a day we’ll treasure forever. Love this place booked it for my mates 50th , great atmosphere and staff and very good pricing on food and drinks. You skid can take your own decorations and platters which we did . And there is a DJ so need need for entertainment except your friends and family . Highly recommend 💯percent and will be going back . Also there beverages are on the ball and loved them .

I had my birthday party for 50 people at Hard Fizz and it was amazing. Super helpful right from my first text enquiring about booking. The whole thing was easy and the party was better than I could’ve imagined. The space was great for mingling, the large tv for slideshow and sound system for my playlist all made the day unique. The team collected pizzas for us and helped with the cake etc. I can’t fault this experience

Had my daughters 21st here. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to help us and make sure everything was perfect. A special shout out to Shez, who made sure we had everything we needed. Even offered her own shoes up to me when I complained how sore my feet were! And Kimmy was amazing, with the booking. Made sure everything was organised and nothing was a bother... Would absolutely have another event here. Absolutely loved it!

We had an amazing Hens Party experience at Fizz! Kimmy and the team were beyond amazing to deal with, they made it so easy for us - and we’re so helpful. Would highly recommend and will definitely keep in mind for future events.

Hubby and I had a pleasant lunch here on a very busy Public Holiday, and busy with the Art Trail customers. The cafe is in a lovely old Queenslander, with seating inside and out. Service was prompt considering how busy they were. We had a cappuccino and a strawberry milkshake, both fine. I ate the salt and pepper calamari, with salad. The coating was tasty, peppery and the serving generous. (A wee bit too much dressing on the salad tho.) He ate the beef burger, with chips. He really enjoyed the amount of relish/chutney, the well-toasted bun, and the caramelised onion. (You can buy deli items, and some artworks in the cafe too.) We will happily come here again, on our next trip up the mountain.

Found this cafe open on a late afternoon, which was great since many cafes close early. It’s a peaceful spot away from the busy Gallery Walk. The homemade-style cakes are a highlight—especially the pear and carrot cakes, both absolutely delicious. A lovely place to relax and enjoy a quiet treat

Had brekky here with my daughter..I had the egg Benny with homemade hollandaise. The hollandaise had no flavour, it was very underwhelming . The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon kind of average. My daughter ordered the big brekky, she said the mushrooms were tasteless, the tomato slightly green, hard and barely cooked..In summary it was at best average.

Lovely café with a relaxed atmosphere and delicious menu options. Staff were welcoming, and the coffee hit the mark. Easy to find parking on the street, which is a big plus. A solid experience overall — just shy of perfect.

Ordered Nasi Goreng with chicken satay, super salty.. sent back to kitchen.. the 2nd round of Nasi goreng taste was bitter.. end up only ate the chicken satay and the egg. Very disappointed with the flavour..

Such a lovely little spot! The coffee is consistently excellent and the food is fresh and delicious.A perfect place to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Shout out to Kim who works so hard and makes us feel right at home everyday and Emily for the best coffee on the mountain!

This winery is stunning! Lovely views of the vines, incredible selection of ciders, beers and wines. The staff were excellent. Although busy, still were calm, collected and attentive especially the lady in the winery. Beautiful wines and cheese and selection of nibbles to match. The musician was also spectacular and totally added to the vibe. His voice was magic. Very talented! Highly recommend this winery. We loved it.

1 Star — If I could give zero, I would. I’m sitting here right now wondering how a place like this even calls itself a winery. Let’s start with the basics: our table wasn’t even cleaned. Glasses, plastic cups, and leftover mess from other guests just sitting there — completely ignored. The wine tasting? Absolutely pathetic. The pours were laughably tiny — like they were afraid we’d actually taste the wine. And get this: everything was served in the same glass without even rinsing between pours. Ever heard of cross-flavor contamination? Clearly not. The service was a whole new level of terrible. The waitress (bec) couldn’t be less friendly if she tried. No smile, no effort, nothing. And the person pouring the wine didn’t even bother to say a single word about what we were drinking — just dumped a splash in the glass and walked away like they had somewhere better to be. No water offered, huge gaps between tastings, and an atmosphere that screams “we don’t care.” This was supposed to be a winery experience, but it felt more like punishment. Save your money, your time, and your sanity — there are plenty of other wineries that actually understand hospitality

We were given complimentary wine tasting here arranged by our hotel and we were so happy we took advantage of it. The staff at Witches Falls were lovely and went out of their way to make it a great experience. We tasted 6 wines of our choosing. The wines were great and we did purchase some to take home. I’d recommend the wine tasting here.

I did the wine tasting here today and LOVED it. The whole experience felt relaxed but still premium; no rushed feeling, no pressure, just genuinely good wine and lovely staff who explain each pour in a fun, approachable way. You sit outside surrounded by trees, fresh air, beautiful views, and it honestly feels like the perfect Tamborine moment. I tried different styles (reds, whites, and a few experimental ones) and each one had personality; not generic supermarket wine vibes. You can taste the quality. It feels unique and local, not commercial. It’s one of those places where you sit, sip, laugh, and think “why don’t I do this more often?” If you’re on Tamborine Mountain, definitely book the tasting; it’s such a cool way to enjoy the day and it feels like a mini getaway without travelling far. Highly recommend , great wine, great vibe, great staff. 🍷✨

Went to a couple of wineries this weekend and we all enjoyed this one the most. The wines were beautiful and the atmosphere is perfect. Our waiter was excellent and really made us feel at home. Also the boxer brewery next door is great.

We visited Witches Falls Winery on Friday and had an incredible wine tasting experience. We sampled six different wines, each with its own unique character, and loved how the tasting was guided. We also created our own cheese board with a selection of local produce, creamy cheeses, salami, olives, pâté, and house-made relishes, the perfect charcuterie board. A special shoutout to Denzell, who served us on the day. He was so lovely, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable with his warm hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect way to spend the afternoon, and the sun setting over the vines added such a beautiful touch. If you're heading to Mount Tamborine, Witches Falls is a must-visit for a relaxed afternoon of wine, food, and gorgeous surrounds.

I visited Witches Falls Winery a couple of days ago and was served by Talon and Lea, who were both really friendly and made the visit really enjoyable. The winery itself is such a beautiful spot. It’s peaceful, relaxed, and a great place to spend an afternoon. I did feel a bit sorry for the staff, as they seemed to be managing quite a lot at once, but they handled it really well. With a little extra support and attention to detail, this place could easily be one of the best in the area. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would definitely come back.

We visited the Mt Tamborine Distillery today for our 20th anniversary. We don’t drink often but decided to give it a try as we wanted to bring family in Europe some local gifts next year and thought this would be perfect, to combine the anniversary with some tasting for a bit of novelty. And we are so glad we did. The staff were amazing. We especially had a great chat with the gentleman who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a tasting of the herbal liqueur soon after we arrived which was a very nice surprise which we also ended up buying. A lovely complex liqueur. We did the $10 (each) tasting and chose 8 different flavours in total. Firstly all I can say while we had some favourites, they were all very high quality and very smooth! You can see why they have so many awards. There were no bad flavours we tried and there were many many more on the menu to try for future visits. We also had an extra tasting of the orange agave liqueur which really gives Cointreau a run for it’s money. Very tasty and punchy. The place itself is also very charming and welcoming. We left with a bottle of the herbal liqueur and chocolate mint, but will be back every year now on our anniversary to pick up a bottle or two and try some new flavours. It’s such a special place and worth a visit. It was never on our radar prior to this. Thank you for your hospitality today. We had a great visit. Very memorable.

Omg we just loved this place! Gordon was an amazing host, full of knowledge and history about his distillery. We did a craft your own citrus cello masterclass & absolutely had a great time making our own bottle to take home. Sampled some lovely liqueurs, stayed and had a cheese Board with some drinks. Thank you so much Gordon for your time & hospitality! Can’t wait to visit again. You’re a bloody legend 👏

A gorgeous distillery making vodkas gins and Liqueurs. So many to choose from. Tastings of four only cost $10. We also got a cheeseboard which was quite reasonable at $20. It is really quite quirky inside and there’s plenty of places to sit. They also do tours of the distillery. They definitely had some delicious things to choose from.

Myself the wife and 2 of our friends attended the spirit making class and all I can say it’s well worth the money and time , Gordon and his staff made the time go so fast I made a vodka and the wife did a gin . We will be back to do a rum class well worth a visit just for a tasting and if you have the time do the making class

We had Yuzu tasting in this place, overpriced with very unfriendly and demotivated staff. No explanation on what they are serving and it was only few drops of Yuzu on ice in each glass, Very poor experience.

Visited with my family whilst in Mount Tamborine. My Fiancé throughly enjoyed the tasting and purchased a couple of bottles to add to our collection. The staff member who assisted us was very friendly and knowledgeable of the business and the product. Would visit again.

An absolutely beautiful wedding venue. We got married in the chapel that had the perfect country charm. We then hired the terrace for 3 hours to host our lunch time reception that was a casual catchup after the ceremony. The venue was also perfect for the photos and not having to leave to capture them was a huge bonus. The staff were great in helping us set up and prepare for the big day. With their expertise the day ran smoothly. Thank you.

05.08 25. Had lunch at here today. What a woeful lunch. Nothing like the past (confit of duck, salmon , etc) classy food in the past. Not this time. Meals represented somthing like very poor senior citizens club meals). The stir-fried vegetables were like mixed frozen vetebles- watery and flavourless.the Barramundi was blanched and tasteless. The salad a few pieces of lettuce leaves and no dressing. The lassagna was craggy and tasteless. I thought last time was bad so thought we would give it another go. Sadly it was worse. I only finished the barramundi because I was desperately hungry. The wait staff was good however they didn't bother to ask if we enjoyed lunch - clearly they knew what the answer would be. Never again. Very disappointing. Don't waste your time or money. Plenty of other good places on the mountain.

We went yesterday for the wine tasting and had an amazing personalised experience. The person serving us let each person decide their own wine to taste with no complains and was incredibly knowledgeable. We appreciated his service and time which made it very unique. Only thing I would comment to change is, perhaps better seating for when having the wine tasting / outdoor perhaps, although we did like to stand after being seated all day 😊 Thank you so much and we would definitely love to come back !

We had the most amazing wedding at Cedar Creek Estate! The whole team, especially Delia and Jade, were so helpful in the lead-up and on the day - I didn’t have to think about a thing. Everything ran so smoothly, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this beautiful venue!

I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Jade and Delia took care of coordinating both our guests and suppliers. It was such an incredible evening, and as the bride, I was able to simply enjoy the moment. Thank you so much! A small recommendation for improvement: Since we had chosen a wide selection of wines, it would have been helpful to display a list of the available options included in the package. Many of our guests weren’t aware of the full selection we had organised.

We had our wedding ceremony at this venue Nov. Overall venue wedding service is very supportive, quick reponse via email and phone. Wedding food package tastes great for all three courses, the food materials are quite fresh. Wines choices are plenty, cedar red is excellent, we bought a few bottles back home as well. The venue environment is pleasant during Oct-Nov for photo shots. If the wedding come across rain, the venue has covered deck. If you need the guest to come up this place, it is better to use exit 57 on M1, this path is way much easier than the primary GPS suggestion.

Such delicious food! Enormous portions too. Definitely get what you pay for. Staff were upbeat and lovely. One thing to note, the food was a bit slow to come out but worth the wait for how good it tasted. Small and imitate dining inside. We shared a table with another couple. But we didnt mind, It was nice to get to know them. Overall, would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality feed

The best burgers that we’ve had for a long while. The crafted beer was amazing and there is a good variety to try. Nathan the host-owner was most hospitable as with the tall guy whom I didn’t get the name. Come and have lunch or dinner at Ze Pickle next time when you are in Burleigh or Gold Coast. Nice rustic/cute venue on the corner of the street. Somewhat dark but nice outside and indoor lighting! Upon arriving the waitress gave us the option of outdoor and indoor seating (we took indoor as although there was cover it was raining a little). Very chilled vibes. Unfortunately we didn’t try any of the choice of beers or cocktails (couple heavy days). However, great selection of not just the bog standard classic cocktails and some great tap choices! We ordered the loaded fries (bacon on the side for the veggo partner) and these were great. House sauce was Smokey but worked well with the cheese. Not thick cut not skinny but a happy medium! The burger. What a piece. Whilst it took a lil while to come. It was well worth the wait. The “Kanye’s Mum” was big, juicy and cheesy. The cheese sticks worked so well and with a big burger like this a good bun is integral… they delivered. Soft in the right places but toasted too. Good work. The beef by itself was well seasoned, fries added an extra texture, bacon crispy (but not oily af) and again the sauce… enough but not tooooo much. Best burger I’ve had in a while shout out to the chef and team!!! Also, loved the quirky decor and menu names!!

Amazing Greek food the platter for two was more like for 4 generous servings and great service. Lovely atmosphere and very spacious for groups. Parking just out on the street so it was really convenient for us when we were looking for a place to dine. Definitely go here for dinner if you’re on holiday we enjoyed our meals and the kind staff who offered to take our photo for us.

This was our first dinner at On Fire and we were impressed. The food was beautiful and plentiful! The restaurant was packed which was great for a Tuesday night. If having the saganaki, be careful as while we were warned that it was hot and it comes out sizzling, we all copped a stray spit of hot honey to the face when it was placed on the table. It was delicious despite that haha. Overall we had a very enjoyable dinner 🤌

Came here in a group of 7 and reservation is recommended. Table was ready when we arrived and staffs were very friendly. Ordered meat platter , octopus tentacles and the fish. Highlight to us was the fish, flaky and soft. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

Absolutely loved this place!! Visited for dinner last night and our table of 3 ordered the meat platter plus calamari, octopus and dolmades. Everything was JUST AMAZING and the seafood was so delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Really friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff. We didn't book but the place was full by the time our meals arrived so highly recommend booking. Also had the signature On Fire cocktail and it was delish! Will definitely be back.

Best sourced lamb in the country, so we were told. And it was delicious, lamb cutlets were definitely some of the nicest I've had in a while, lamb & the chicken souvlaki also delicious, the Greek sausage had some nice spice to it & the goat was amazing so tender & the seasoning yum. Good Greek salad, lemon potato was a hit with the family. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I felt most welcome by the staff. It was suggested that we try the meat platter and it was such a good choice, it fed the whole family, it has to be the best value and best option to get a bit of everything. Although there were a lot more things on the menu I wanted to try, there was no way we could fit it all in. Tzatziki was so nice and must have been freshly made, I hadn't tasted it that fresh before. Really it was a great experience, traditional flavour, atmosphere & staff.

Caught up with friends for lunch. Booked a table for 4. There was lots of great selection of food on the menu, so we ordered plates to share. The food was tasty and fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food came out promptly.

Four of us attended dinner on Saturday night. We had looked at the menu beforehand and decided it looked like a pretty interesting menu. All four of us weren’t disappointed with our choices. The portions were generous, and the presentation was great. Each appeared to have a separate flavor . It was great to go to an establishment that just didn’t have steak and chips and veal parmigiana on the menu! The last thing was, the prices were very competitive. Would recommend.

Great space to have lunch and enjoy some local brews! There is lots of indoor seating and some bar tables outside too. Good venue for larger groups too. Burgers were great, the truffle mayo was really delish. Chips were cooked to perfection! They have meal deals even on the weekends which was great. Service was also excellent. Would definitely come back again!

Went to Beenleigh rum distillery for lunch + tour and previously for the comedy nights. I must say I received outstanding customer service, the best around. The food was quick and delicious, I recommend the corn ribs and gnocchi! A special Thank you to Ross and Kristin for making my time unforgettable, I’ll definitely be back!

We had a delightful time tasting the 5 types of rum. Had cocktails and the rum with pineapple crush is my new favourite drink. Rum and ginger beer was very nice too. Lovely young man kept us informed, wish I knew his name but no name tag. We saw a big table with pizzas etc and they looked yummy.

Really lovely place and wonderful service, we had a big group and had a lovely time. They catered to our needs and very attentive to us even with so many people. Price is very reasonable and love the cocktails. 2nd time here and would definitely come back again!

The staff’s service was terrible. No greeting, no “thank you” — I ended up being the one to say it, and they didn’t even respond. The coffee was the only decent thing. I ordered “Alex’s Breakfast,” and it was absolutely awful. The salad vegetables were spoiled to the point where I didn’t even want to touch them. The cutlery came wrapped in a wet napkin, so I asked for an extra napkin, and the staff member just pointed to where it was with a frown. Never coming back.

Caffe Cherry beans is a very-known cafe franchise, and this one caught my eye because of it’s outdoor seating by the river. It was a beautiful sunny day, and it could’ve been a relaxing experience, however on a busy weekend there were many loud speed boats passing by which made me move inside. But, the food made up for the experience because it was delicious ! Presentation and portion were great. I got the big breakfast, and was very satisfied with the variety of food on my plate. Eggs were poached well, meat was cooked wonderfully, and hash browns were crispy and golden. Burger was good, patty was just a little dry. Overall, had a good time :)

I love this cafe and try to visit each time I'm travelling for work. I have studied here and started writing my book. Coffee and food are great and staff really nice. Clean and great views and location. Easy to walk to or find a park

This place have the best barista in town. I always come here once a week just for the coffee. I just come here to enjoy a little time with my partner. Usually this place is very busy and really don't mind waiting for it, cause it's worth it. Usually I get breakfast once in a while cause I'm currently on restrictly diet, but the food here is so good and very tasty. Even though they were super busy with the coffees I didn't even wait that much. Love this place, really recommend it for coffee lovers.

Shopping at pacific fair come in from the entrance near the tram, saw this caffe cherry, nice environment 👍 comfortable seating. We had an excellent experience dining at The Lucky Squire Thurs 26/6 . We ordered the Wood-fired Pepperoni pizza which was delicious, the base was perfectly done , the cheese sauce and pepperoni spot on. The menu on offer has plenty of choice. Must try the tempting desserts next time! There is also a good selection of drinks also a cocktail menu . I also recommend the delicious Gamberoni pizza if you like prawns with a hint of chilli . We love the lucky squire Ginger beers with or without alcohol. There was live music while we were dining and the singer was genuinely talented, it really added to the ambience. A BIG THANKS to Paige for looking after us so well and to Thomas the manager, you can tell he leads a brilliant hardworking team. Everyone was friendly and attentive and this has been consistent on our many visits. Whenever it’s for drinks or a bite to eat. I highly recommend.

Such a stunning atmosphere - perfect mix between energetic and relaxed Laticia made beautiful cocktails (also SO reasonably priced!) Food was just as great. I had the mushroom fettuccine and it was gone in a flash - delicious! Service was immaculate. This place is nothing short of perfect.

We just left this place and I have to say ..I ordered the 600g T Bone steak with chips and salad ..it was absolutely done perfectly. Cooked Medium/well .it was soft and tender great mushroom sauce and the salad was a perfect mix ..my partner had the calamari salad and hers was soft and tender ..also tried the james squire mountbank brewed in house ..great staff and smiles all round

Small plates are super tasty we loved the wood fired lamb skewers with Mediterranean flavours . Steak with crispy potatoes and vegetables cooked perfectly. First time we tried the James Squire lemon and so refreshing . We will be back what a great find ❤️

We popped in a Monday afternoon and got an amazing beef wagyu burger that was on delicious and on special for $15, as well as a $10 pint of James Squire. The service was incredible and the vibe was lovely - highly recommend this place!

It was perfectly fitting for the space it's occupying and granted me with a night I cannot forget. The food I received was so incredibly good that I thought I was dreaming. The food is comparative to that of food served in heaven. The service was impeccable and the food came before I could even finish my drink. The aesthetic of it was exquisite at worst and perfection at best. The entertainment services that blessed my eyes were utterly magnificent and I have never had a funner night.

We had a really amazing lunch and opted for one of the platters (The Munich) to get a taste of a bit of everything, as well as a beer tasting paddle. Luckily we hadn’t eaten breaky, as it was huge and very delicious! If you love your porky goodness, this is the place for you! The chicken schnitzel was also really lovely. The staff were really professional and friendly and kept checking in to see if we needed anything and there was plenty of seating, including outdoors which is lovely in the leafy gardens. Will def be back!

My son and I caught up over a pleasant meal. It was the perfect time around 4pm to stop for an early dinner. Would be interesting to see how the service was during full service. Happily tipped. The paddle of 4 x 200ml beers was great value at $27 dollars. I had the fish and my son enjoyed the steak.

German food is a bit salty, I hope the taste can be adjusted to be lighter, and the beer is delicious. The meal portions were huge.

Went to Balter for my sister's engagement party a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. The beers, the food and the live music were awesome and the upstairs space was perfect for our friends and family. Shout out to James and Stewie (I hope I remembered right) for putting up with a whole bunch of drunks (mostly, me) and being legends in general. All the staff there brought the vibes and I appreciated how special you made the day for my sister. Can't wait to come back.

We stopped by for an afternoon drink on a Wednesday and had a lovely experience. The space was so clean and welcoming, our toddler enjoyed watching the fork lifts driving around beyond the wall and they even beeped their horns and turned on their lights for him. I especially enjoyed the 'Largarita' as a non-beer drinker (pictured).

Love this place! The crew are all super nice and make you feel welcome every time I’m there. Even the security guard is great! He always makes sure what sport we wanna watch on the weekend is on the big screens!

Held a film screening here at Balter and it was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful for the whole event and the venue was amazing. Great pizzas and delicious beers, stoked! Thanks for the support Balter!

Went on the brewery tour with Jake, and it was honestly the best brewery tour I have ever been on! So much interesting information and behind the scenes views of an awesome company! Lots of delicious beer to try and a super friendly, funny and informative tour guide, thanks Jake!

What a place!! Best beers, best vibe but most importantly, the best crew! The staff at the Taproom make the place. My wife and I bring our 5yr old down most Sundays. He plays with his mates, whilst we have a beer (XPA best beer on the planet) and listen to epic live music. All the while, being treated as a part of the Balter family by the staff. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

We took part in the gin blending class and it was fantastic. It’s hard to imagine it can work out so well in the end, but the guidance and support was incredible. And you get to take away your own blend!!! . An afternoon in the beautiful sun following, with great food too, what more can you ask for?

What a find. I have never tried gin before, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed a selection of their gin’s and had a pizza for lunch. Will definitely be back for another Christmas gin or two.

We discovered Cauldron only a year ago and now we buy all our gin there. We would visit at least once or twice a month to sit in the sun and enjoy a few drinks, really awesome activities and games to play to keep the kids occupied. Great service, delicious gin and food, even better to support our local economy!

We went on a Sunday and it was the perfect “Sunday Session” vibe – relaxed, great atmosphere and just the right level of live music to create a lovely background ambiance without taking over. The cocktail menu is incredible and the pizzas were absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend popping in for a chilled afternoon – you won’t regret it!

What a great place. Food was great and our gin tasting paddle was delivered with excellent knowledge of the product. A little local gem. It's a family run restaurant, therefore they have a personal touch. The food is delicious. We ordered mussels and chicken and both dishes were awesome. Also enjoyed the dessert. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic taste of Belgium by currumbin river. They give you little snacks when you get beers, just like in Europe! They’ve got a nice selection of wine and good food too - Mussels are my favorite around here

Had the most amazing birthday lunch here after reading others reviews. I can confirm all previous reviews are accurate! Food is amazing, service impeccable, but mostly the hosts were fabulous. We felt so welcome, it felt like we were dining at their home. Highly recommend.

Love this restaurant. Family of 4 stopped in for lunch. Was like being back in Belgium. The mussels we beautifully prepared and delicious. The traditional sauce was excellent and the green curry version was a great twist . Crispy chips, great croquettes and the range of Belgian beers was extensive. The couple who run the place were lovely hosts. We will be back whenever we are on the Goldie! Thanks again!

I appreciated the time taken to respond to my concerns and to try to explain what probably happened. The truth is that the operators of this establishment were accomodating, friendly and charming and the food was really a special treat. The Mussels were fantastic and my only regret is that I arrived too tired from a long drive to fully appreciate what is a wonderful, friendly, professionally operated establishment with excellent food. You checked in on us regularly, freely engaged in conversation and even helped us take a group photo. I hope that you accept my apology and will allow me to return with a party in the future to try out some of the other items on the menu. You guys deserve all the positive reviews. Thank you.

Absolutely delightful evening 😊 From the moment my partner and I arrived, until we left almost 4 hours later we were treated with warmth, friendliness, pride and passion from two people who know what hospitality is. Martin and Delphine, the owners, put their personalities and professionalism into action to serve up delicious Belgian cuisine and a huge selection of Belgian beers. I enjoyed the Moules Provencal, whilst my partner had the Meatballs Provencal and the rich, authentic flavours were tantalising. We also ate entrees and sides which were equally impressive. Their customer service is superior and reminiscent of bygone times. Their attention to detail and the ambience of the courtyard made for a memorable night which was enhanced by the lively conversation we shared with the owners after our meal.

My family and I attended the Amaro class at Loborn on Saturday, and it was absolutely fantastic! The experience was both fun and informative – a perfect blend of hands-on learning and storytelling. Tom was passionate, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome, regardless of experience. We walked away with a deeper appreciation for the craft behind Amaro and some great memories to go with it. A great addition to the lovely main street and well worth a day trip from Bris or the Gold Coast. We went for a tasting and came away with a bottle of each of the Amaro 1, 2 and gin. My wife wanted to visit Picnic. It was a bit of a challenge finding a park but we did. Arriving at Picnic I spotted a sign giving direction to Loborn. We know of their no1 Amaro because of the Craft store in Coorparoo. We totally forgot about our original plan and headed straight to the Loborn distillery door. We were greeted by the beautiful hostess Amie who is very knowledgeable and not just on the Amaro, vermouth and gin on offer. We were offered a complementary tasting, which ended up to be mind blowing. All of the four drinks are out of this world, beautiful blends of perfectly selected botanicals. If you visit Mt Tamborine it is a must to visit Loborn, let Amie transport you to a place you never knew existed. We bought the vermouth and no2 Amaro which gives us lots of options such as Negroni, after dinner Anaro and an occasional vermouth on a sunny or rainy afternoon. XO

We visited Loborn over the weekend and were warmly welcomed by Tom, the owner who both made the experience even more enjoyable. My favourite was definitely the Amaro No.1, in a spritz it was absolutely beautiful and so refreshing. We also had the chance to try the gin, and I honestly regret not grabbing a bottle because it was the best gin I have ever tasted. If you are in Mount Tamborine, make sure you stop by their tasting bar. It is such a gem. There is also a charming little café next door where you can enjoy a bite before or after your visit.

We visited Loborn on their opening weekend, as part of the scenic rim eat local month. We loved the tasting session and enjoyed the opportunity to make our own cocktails (particular shout out to amaro no. 2). Tom was welcoming and knowledgeable. A must visit if staying on Mt Tamborine!

Tom has created a unique, intimate experience at Loborn. His recipes are incredible, and the visual presentation of both his alcoholic creations and shop interiors are something worth seeing in person. Will be recommending to anyone traveling to Tamborine Mountain.

Great addition to the neighbourhood. Plenty of brews to choose from, great service and friendly staff and the food is super tasty. There's now lunch specials most days and on the weekends live music which so far it's been really good. Plus guest brewery beers. I could go on and on. Loving it very much!!!

Awesome beer, fantastic burgers, great atmosphere for lunch today around 1pm. One star comes off for staff and manager behind the bar not being friendly and making us feel like we were interrupting their day. They may have had a bad start time their day but a smile and being friendly doesn’t cost a thing for a business in customer service.

Like most gems this place is a bit hard to find but it’s definitely worth it. Just look for the shell service station on west Burleigh rd and in behind you will find it. The ambience is relaxed. It’s not one of those in your face micro breweries that look down on you for not ordering an IPA made with pineapple juice. This place has great staff who are happy to talk to you about the beer and serve you with a smile. The food is delicious. It’s exactly what you want with a craft beer. Have the ribs and the Korean chicken. The fitout is spacious and upmarket. Worth a relaxing afternoon on the beers.

Hidden gem in Burleigh. Lovely, cosy spot away from the James Street madness. Bright open inside space, and an airy (undercover no less!) outside space. Big roomy tables, super friendly staff and a big bonus that they're dog friendly. And that's not even talking about the beer and the food. There is a great variety of beers on tap, enough to satisfy the pickiest of beer aficionados. Everything from a saison, to a pale ale and a session. And great range of serving sizes on offer. Food is also an amazing selection of burgers, wings, and slow cooked, smoked meat options. We had their brisket and it is melt in your mouth, smoky, tangy goodness. The sides of cornbread and mac and cheese were also on point if you're hankering for an American style meal. The burgers compete with the best the Gold Coast has to offer. We didn't have any, but the wings passing us by looked amazing, too. Really a wonderful find and we genuinely hope Burleigh Barrels becomes a fixture for a long time to come. We know we'll be back! Honestly can't think of what they could possibly do better.

Found out about Capricorn Distillery by accident and so happy I did. Being A Capricorn myself, I had to try some of their rums. So far the Pineapple Rum is the favourite but still happily working our way through the products 🙂Fast delivery and wonderful gift of a Capricorn carry bag. If you like rum, you will love all Capricorn Distilling Co have to offer!

We had an awesome time getting shown around by Simon, he was super knowledgeable and we had an amazing time tasting their gins and rum. Took a bunch of stuff home with us, the spiced rum being the favourite amongst our group! Highly recommend checking these guys out.

Ended up going to Capricorn instead of another one due to closure and I was so happy we went here. Friday about 230ish was quiet so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The cocktails were good and the cheese platter was amazing! Great selection! We also bought a 4 pack of the rum & soda with Lime & Ginger so we can't wait to try it! They've only been there for 6 months so get there and try them!

We had a blast here! The cocktails were lovely. We got through 3 different games. We didn’t make a booking and had a bay within 30 minutes on a weekend. The place is so well set up and run. We wish we had one of these back home!

The facility was fantastic, staff were great, food looked good however I didn't indulge. It was really busy but that's what I expected for a Saturday night, we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a bay and I was stoked to be right in the corner away from the majority of the noise and people. Overall my wife and I enjoyed ourselves however I found the cost to be a bit much for only 2 people, I think there's more value to be had in a larger group.

What a fantastic place to spend an evening. We got a late night package, 9 to 11pm. It wasn't cheap but we had $125 in credit for food and all you can drink softdrinks. The game were really fun and interactive. We had $41 credit from the food left over and spent it on a shirt. We will be back!

We have just had an amazing afternoon celebrating our nephews 11th birthday party. We had 2 bays for 2 hours with amazing hostess Kaitlyn and Andy who went above and beyond ensuring we had a seamless time. Top golf what a place!! First of all the food and drink was great. It was great to meet new people like our newly made friend, Shannon. The service was great, staff members Andy and Harrison were kind and cool. The security guard Nash number 885 was a delight to meet, kind, respectful, and to top it off good at his job! I had an awesome time at Maniax Axe Throwing on the Gold Coast! The whole experience was a perfect mix of fun and challenge — it’s surprisingly addictive once you get the hang of it. The mead was equally great, a perfect touch to keep the Viking vibes flowing. The customer service was absolutely brilliant too — friendly, welcoming, and they made sure everyone had a good time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something unique and memorable!

Saw the sign from Cavill Ave and decided it was a must do. My partner and I had so much fun doing this. The staff member was so friendly and thorough in their safety and coaching of us once we started. Absolutely would recommend if you're looking for something fun to do on the Gold Coast

Great spot especially if you are in a bigger group, we had 7 of us and there was plenty of space. Coffee was awesome and the food was delicious really good sizes as well. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. Having the shop out back is great way to pass time while waiting for you order. Staff were all polite and very helpful, we will need to come back for a beer one day

We came here for breakfast and it was 10/10! The corn fritters were delicious, and so was the bacon and egg roll. It might not be a place you'd expect to be open for breakfast, but I’d highly recommend stopping by for a morning meal!

We were looking for a quick lunch option after doing some shopping nearby and 4 Pines Coolangatta fitted perfectly. The Caesar Salad had the perfect amount of dressing and the chicken and croutons had a delicious flavour. I washed it down with icy cold Japanese style lager that was brewed on site. It's dog friendly which is a nice touch for those wanting to stop for a quick beveragino on their walk.

Went on a Monday afternoon for an early dinner. We had a Chicken Caesar Salad and Cali Burrito. Staff very friendly, venue tidy enough in a great spot near the water. Food was tasty. About what you’d expect from a brewery. Little pricy for portion sizes.

After planning a recent family get-together at 4 Pines we were left disappointed with the service and hungry due to several forgotten orders. Unfortunately the one gluten intolerant person in our group was also unable to be catered for due to several menu items being unavailable on the night. To be fair, the nachos that came were tasty, and the kids food was well received, but with 50% of our group not receiving their food at all it’s hard not to be disappointed.

Delicious food. Good sized portions, the fries in particular are quite large as is the Apple pie. Friendly service and not a long wait from order to food on the table. Nice range of drinks on tap and at the bar. Great atmosphere!

Big burgers, bar, friendly staff and a terrific 1950s vintage style decor: this is a great hidden restaurant. It's right on the gold coast highway, has easy parks in the area at Palm Beach surf club plus there are toilets available in the establishment. It does get busy, but there's still a few tables available. No real need to book a table.

Dined here on a Sunday night. They now have an ordering system via the iPad which is cool. The food is delicious where my family enjoyed the Sunday $35 all you can eat ribs and wings.

Went in on a sunday evening fairly busy. $35 all u can eat wings and ribs was the deal. We ordered our food on there ipad menu which i loved. Pics of food always help u decide with ease. They have a large drinks menu cocktails spirits and beers. Had a nice gin cocktail bit to much rose flavor for my liking but presented well. Staff are very friendly and very attentive. Food came out and seriously so tastylooking drooling at the mouth I loved every bit of it. Wings were up there id say bewt wings ive ever had bourbon glazed finger lickin good. Slaw i loved done in a vinegar dressing the pickles on the side. YUM! Ribs we soft and tender bit dry but dunked into smokey bbq sauce helped. And the sides were perfect aswell Couldnt even make it through 1 tray of food so portions are big! Overall well worth a visit and we will be back.

Last Night on Earth is one of those bars that just hits the right vibe. I’ve been a few times now, and it’s always got this chilled, intimate energy without feeling flat. Went recently to catch a mate’s gig and the sound setup was surprisingly solid for the size of the venue. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a crowd that’s actually there for the music — not just background noise. It feels like a place that genuinely supports local talent while still being a cool hangout. Definitely recommend if you’re into live music and good atmosphere.

What a Bar!! Everytime I go to Last Night on Earth I have a great time. There is always a buzz in the air at this place, never a dull moment and guaranteed you will always meet some interesting folk, in a good way. The drinks on tap are always top notch, they get the good batches from the top breweries and have great cocktails to match. There is also a great mix of LIVE music and special events, either trivia nights, comedy nights and just events because they can. Highly recommended your next catch up with mates, Friday night drinks or just a spontaneous night out, you to go Last Night on Earth. Meet you at the bar.

The place was alright. At an easy and convenient spot. Peanut butter beer is... If I have a list then it'll be at the bottom for now. I was told it's sweet but not at all. The strong and strange flavour is hard for me to like. I ordered one and shared it with my group, and no one liked it 😂

As I spent two months travelling through the darkest depths of Asia, I needed cleansing Ale but not just any cleansing Ale, an Australian ale not one that has been purchased by overseas interest, one that has owned and made in Australia, you know Australia’s supporting Australia, local support supporting locals kinda beer.! So i walked up to the bar “one jug of young Henry please” I was approached bar a gruff gentlemen said “ how can I help you mate” and then a smile cracked quite aesthetically pleasing and charismatic, Pete I believe was his name, “$15 dollars for the jug mate ” he said, to my shock what am i still in Asia? Why is so cheap? $15 for a jug??? Is there something going on this is Australia overpriced and over taxed how can this be!! Throughout the evening, I started to get this really homely Cheers vibe, you know where everyone knows your name. Then the band comes on “Locky and the lobster men” well stuff me who would’ve thought a bunch of Zgen kids could rock that shit out all the sweet stuff from the 70’s 80’s 90’s and 2000.. So I got a gut full of Aussie beer listening to awesome live tunes!! Well what do you do next off to the bathroom.!! So I’m walking to the bathroom it was nothing but pure art, graffiti installations quotes it was fricking awesome literally intrigued most of the way all the way down to the pisser then literally pissed myself laughing at the graffiti on the walls. So it’s getting towards the end of the night it’s time for a nightcap what is on the cocktail list? Cheeky Charlie to name a few, so that’s it im done time to leave i thought, oh one more beer won’t kill me, I woke up in Carey park naked and afraid well I may of if Pete didn’t say mate, it’s time i walked you to your uber, like this place has a concierge as well incredible just incredible what a place what a night.!! It’s 5 tarnished (I just don’t think that like shiny ones) stars from me.!!

My sister and I had the most magical day with Gold Coast Wine Tours! Jim picked us up from home and looked after everything, making it feel so easy and special. We started with a true high tea experience at Hudson and Rosie’s (with some sneaky cocktails!), then headed up the mountain for a beautiful winery visit and finished with a distillery tour and tasting. Jim’s service was outstanding and made the whole day unforgettable. We can’t wait to book our next adventure. We highly recommend for anyone wanting a unique and memorable Gold Coast experience!

We had a wonderful day up the mountain celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The bus driver was very courteous and ensured we all had a great time. We never felt rushed at any point. The 3 locations we went to were fabulous! We particularly enjoyed the distilleries and even came away with a few goodies. I recently booked a food and wine bus tour for my hen’s party with Gold Coast Wine Tours and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I was referred to this company by clients who have used them multiple times, and now I understand why. Jim and the team had fantastic communication from start to finish, making the planning process so easy. They took us to the best locations around the Gold Coast, including the beautiful Tamborine Mountain and its surrounds. Every venue was well thought out, the food was delicious and we got to embrace and sample what the best local hidden hot spots had to offer - we certainly got dropped home very happy and content! Lovely wine, sumptuous lunch and topped off with a gin tasting, a friendly, personable host, who drove us safely from venue to venue, then dropped us home complete with smiles, a full belly, and a bunch of memories. Great place for barefoot bowls with friends or family. At $5/person and play as long as you want it's excellent value. Not crowded at all like some other venues. Cold beverages at excellent prices, friendly staff and a totally relaxed atmosphere and if you're hungry afterward the restaurant is pretty good too. Try it out 👍

We live around the corner and This bowl club is within walking distance. Just had 2 amazing meals. High standard. After the Asian restaurant left , there was a long period with very average meals. Now they are not part of Burleigh Bear leagues club , they have new chefs and a lovely menu. Their specials are good. We even had veges . So happy we can go to a good quality not expensive restaurant, very close to home.

We would like to personally acknowledge the amazing service we received at the bowling club. We are up from South Australia with a group of disability clients and wanted to find somewhere close by for dinner. We were so welcomed by the hosts Andy and Emily. The food was amazing the best we had so far on our holiday. Thank you guys for hosting us and making everyone feel special.

Have visited this great little club several times lately and have loved every meal we have had. Great chefs who obviously put a ton of love in their meals. I have to also add that the Managers care so much about our experience. Looking forward to coming back to our local very soon!

There are 2x bowling greens. 1x of the greens is in great condition. There are bbq facilities and new Bistro that is about to open. The staff are friendly and service is great. A full stocked bar as always. There is also a pokies area. Parking lot adjacent.

Great atmosphere in the clubhouse and the staff are very friendly. The green looks terrific. They have some good events coming up, which really adds to a genuine community feel. Highly recommend for those keen on playing bowls and for anyone wanting to enjoy the bar and restaurant.

I have been coming to this brewery for a few years now and strongly recommend. Great service and very reasonably priced compared to other micro breweries who charge a fortune. They have an extensive list of beers and always let you try any before buying. I will keep supporting James and his team. Thanks guys

Just bloody good, fresh beer. We tried quite a few different beers and ciders and took two 6 packs away with us for home - all have been super tasty and easy drinking. We stayed for a few hours over lunch time and it was a relaxed vibe and not too busy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Decent pricing too for the quality. Very happy to have stumbled across this gem.

Best beer on the coast, staff are spot on, friendly and knowledgable. Feels like home walking into Aardvark and Arrow, love the place. Beer tasting once a month makes for a cracking afternoon/evening. Leann and Rowdy it’s a pleasure drinking your beer.

Their house lager and IPA are really tasty beers and a good atmosphere to sink a few. Leanne was great service as well and gave us some complimentary snacks

It’s a nice looking place with friendly staff but the food prices and portions are Horrific! $16 for a kids cheeseburger and chips And the bun is 5 inches wide and the burger patty is 1 inch wide and half a slice of cheese and 2 grams of tomato sauce, that’s just laughable. Me and my mother paid $42 for 2 small dishes and 1 glass of Pepsi!!.

I recently tried the mushroom linguini and, unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The dish lacked basic seasoning — not a hint of salt — which made the flavours fall completely flat. The linguini itself was severely overcooked, to the point where it was falling apart and had a mushy, unappetizing texture. The sauce, instead of being rich and creamy, was oddly gooey, making the whole dish feel more like a mistake than a meal. Overall, it was a bland and poorly executed plate.

Terrible staff, horrible service, no cares and the food was bland no salt. Looked like they just poured a tub of cream ontop of leftover pasta smaller than the size of instant microwave meals with an off taste and smell. Had a force few mouthfuls and felt sick the remainder of the day like food poisoning. A great spot to sit while waiting but it stops there. Seriously it was toddler size on a giant plate. Photo after mixing in the salt we had to find ourselves on the counter with staff. Need leaving it uneaten.

The drinks were great, service was from 1 person only for a full restaurant of approx 60 people. Some people were frustrated and left. Tables were not cleaned, there was rubbish and empty glasses left on tables and the poor team member had to keep apologising for the delay to everyone. The lounges and stools are poorly designed and uncomfortable. More high back chairs and maybe pillows would be good, unless it’s intentional for quick turnovers.

Decent food options superceded by great staff service. The place could use some more comfortable seating options for travellers who wish to spend time there before a flight. Overall good experience.

The most incredible venue with even more incredible people working behind the scenes. Thank you to Teags, Jimmy and the team for pulling together a truly epic night for our engagement party. The vibes were on a whole other level. I cannot recommend Six Tricks enough and will never shut up about how amazing this night was for us. If you’re tossing up whether to head down for a drink, cocktail class or host your event at Six Tricks, JUST DO IT!

There is so much about six-tricks that I love it is a wonderful venue. It’s welcoming, friendly, the staff are amazing always with a smile, greet customers warmly and they make fabulous drinks. Family friendly, kids and dogs welcome, accessible how fantastic! They have designed the venue with a wheelchair lift and the bathroom is roomy with easy access, more venues should be this inclusive. Customers are relaxed and smiling, enjoying great music and awesome food from the truck. Go enjoy it’s awesome!

We recently had my daughter’s 21st at six tricks and we couldn’t have been happier. Right from the initial enquiry and visit, Teagan and Jimmy were super helpful and accomodating. The venue itself is a hidden gem - cosy, great setting and cool views over Surfers. Food was yummy, cocktails were delicious and the staff made us feel right at home and really looked after us. Signature cocktails were phenomenal! Very unique and funky. Super well priced, especially within happy hour. Both bartenders showed a great deal of passion and were great to chat to. We came in expecting to just try out some spirits but left having tried all of their signature cocktails and a great experience overall.

A hidden gem in Mermaid Waters. We came across Six Tricks while looking for a venue for our sons 21st. From the first point of contact, Teagan was so helpful & accommodating. The staff were fantastic on the night and everyone had the best time. Highly recommend, great location, great staff & great atmosphere!

Came here for a special tasting event as part of a bucks night. Great vibe and unlike anything else on the coast. Tegan and her team know their stuff, felt like I was back in London at a little specialty bar in the middle of SoHo.

We visited Six-Tricks Distillery on a last minute whim for the first time yesterday and honestly could not have been more impressed! Quality is abundant in every aspect of this venue. From the really well designed bar to the extremely comfortable seating, the amazing, innovative and well priced cocktail menu, the helpful and knowledgable staff, the delicious food truck serving the tastiest bites, Air Con, ceiling fans, and really great bathroom facilities. They had the most sensational live music, happy hour kicked in while we were there and honestly we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back!! I recommend booking online before you go - the little venue was packed. Bugz & Co food truck, and Lily Budiasa musician both deserve a mention too! The whole combination was 5 star!

Arrived from driving from Sunshine Coast to be advised that the booking had not been received but were advised to leave as reception closes at 5pm Arrived 5 30 and was unable to find reception to discuss personally as it would be inconvenient for her to come down and open the gate. Luckily I rang around and found a much better accommodation with 2 floors with bedrooms upstairs with a private balcony and 2beds down stairs both with own bathroom. The reception was very friendly and helpful with a late arrival and only 4 units in the block. Closer to everything and much more room for 3 people.

I booked this place through booking.com, and payed about $300 more compared to nearby apartments. I loved the location, and the leather furniture. The apartment had all we needed. However, we stayed for 6 nights, and there was no service provided whatsoever. There was a some small tiny sashet of dishwashing liquid that lasted one wash. We were there for 6 nights! They expected people to buy everything from toilet papers to tissues to hand soap. When I asked for a replacement rubbish bin plastic bag, I was first asked, how much longer is my stay. Luckily, the IGA is within a walking distance! So location wise it was perfect! Also, this building has everything, swimming pool, tennis court , gaming room ( ping-pong table). We really enjoyed staying here and we will come back. Basement parking is available. Lady at the reception was very nice and she waited for us to give us the keys. Tennis rackets and balls were inside the cupboard, so if you want to play, you don't need to go and ask for them!

BE AWARE! We recently booked 3 apartments from New Zealand for an extended family holiday over Christmas. We were told they were the last 3 so would need to pay our deposit to secure them asap. We were sent an agreed price and so bank transfered a considerable deposit thinking all was sorted. A few days later we were informed that they had mucked up the price and were told we would need to pay a much larger amount. This pushed the price beyond what we could afford, despite this being illegal due to the written quote and deposit being paid. After a bit of back and forth we finally received our deposit back minus NZ$150. We questioned why we should be out of pocket for their issue but was told it wasn't their problem and they refused to send through any more money. Incredibly frustrating and terrible customer service leaving us helpless and out of pocket.

We were quoted for a family holiday and secured booking with a deposit. Days later we were told it was now another $1600 more as they mucked up. Illegal. They would not budge then refunded us $150 less. Terrible experience and stress for no holiday. Be careful.

Location is perfect. Right on the beach. No roads to cross.Great unit overlooking beach and pool area. Amenities are great. Unit was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and obliging. Accommodation rate was good value. Will definitely book here again. A lot of people complained about the tight parking situation. It's better than having to find parking on the street.

Pros: the view Cons: tired interior in our apartment , small double bed (advertised as queen), shower only (bath advertised when booking) threadbare sheets, lights not working in two rooms, spa in pool not working, BBQ out of action for duration of our stay. This place looks nothing like the pictures on the website and is average at its very best. The saving grace was the view from the 3rd floor as the whales were migrating but without a view I think we'd have upped and gone elsewhere. Stay down the road at Golden Riviera if you want a nice complex with decent apartments and facilities.

This is my Mum's favourite accommodation. Unit 46 is nicely furnished and confortable with great views. I am a balcony lover and although they have awesome views, the balcony is a little narrow for my tastes. Great location, with plenty of shops within a 10 min walk.

The hidden gem of Southport! Their bar is well stocked with lots of craft beers and spirits sourced from Aussie brewers. Make sure you check out their ribs & wings deal on a Sunday, you won't leave hungry or disappointed

No problem if you want an alcoholic drink. Anything else and forget it. I've been twice. The first time it took almost one hour for what was basically a toasted sandwich which made me late for an appointment. It didn't even taste very good. Second time around the staff seemed either mentally handicapped or stoned. Couldn't even order a coffee.

Stunning and quirky. With a gourmet menu delivered upstairs by their basement kitchen you can't go wrong. Grab a couple of craft beers on tap and watch the cool graphics projected on the building next door.

Went lastnight ordered 2 cocktails the guy who served me seemed nice enough and said it was fine that i sit down and he bring them over to me , whilst making them however he decided to have a meltdown hissy fit without any explanation and someone else had to continue making them half heartedly because of this nut cases behaviour ,i have traveled the world and been to many many bars over 20 years and have never experienced anything like this ! Was a joke

Really great food, I suggest the fish tacos. Great live music, trivia nights are good fun. The host is hilarious and involved whole heartedly.

Sensational experience at Panezski Artisan Distillery - just a short drive from the Gold Coast. Paul and Vanessa were amazing hosts and carefully explained all the various vodka and gin infusions which were great. The food was also awesome, with brilliant presentation, flavours and generous proportions. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back!

I recently celebrated my 70th Birthday at Panezski Artisan Distillery and I have to say it was the best experience I have had for a very long time.The atmosphere was amazing, food was fantastic and plentiful and with such a wide variety of cocktails and mocktails, even a teetotaller like me was spoiled for choice. The service was excellent and the hosts Paul and Vanessa bent over backwards to accommodate our needs . I would highly recommend this venue for any event.

What an absolute gem! Panezski is a must-visit distillery in Upper Coomera. From the moment we arrived, Paul and Vanessa made us feel completely at home — their warmth and hospitality were second to none. The cocktails were expertly crafted, showcasing an impressive variety of vodka infusions and creative blends. The food was just as memorable — beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. It’s clear that every detail at Panezski is thoughtfully considered. We can’t wait to return!

I had my partners 40th birthday here. I absolutely can not recommend them highly enough. Amazing private and unique venue with friendly and helpful service. What is even more amazing that the drinks were also delicious even though the next day hangover not so much. All our guests were impressed by the venue and the event. Haven’t made it to the White Oat Distillery taproom yet, but I recently online purchased two of their gins and had to share how good they are. The Nightshade Moonshine – a mulberry-infused Gincello – is awesome. Smooth, rich, and full of the flavor of the mulberries. Then there’s the Chilli Mango Gin... wow. The balance of sweet mango with a (not-so) little kick of chilli is something else. I paired both with some dehydrated lemons from Sunset Ridge & Co over in Canungra, and the combo was magic. Looking forward to getting to the taproom over the Chrissy break.

We had such a great night! We started with a tasting paddle and a charcuterie board, followed by a few cocktails. The service, cocktails and food was 10/10. My fave by far were the spicy mango margs 👌🏻

Went in for a drink, never been much into gin but absolutely loved it! Had the Raspberry Sour on the Berry Pink Gin. Service was great and the drink was better.

I love these guys and their gins. Absolutely beautiful flavours. My fiance got me their Emerald Fairy for my birthday and it's been a real hit with our guests.

We went there off the cuff kind of thing and was met by a young man who from our conversation had had a big day but this young man despite his day, made ours a wonderful experience, and I thank him for this, as he gets the idea of making peoples visit an experience, ………. Cool little place with a great vibe. Good to have something like this in Biggera Waters. Not a huge gin drinker normally but the berry pink gin and tonic was fantastic.
