The 50 best beaches in and around the Gold Coast

This is a great place for a walk in the sand and / or a swim. Walking through the soft sand on the way from the street is good exercise. There is a section of the beach red and yellow flags with lifesavers watching. It was a cloudy day when we visited but still warm and a hat and sunscreen were a good idea. There is even an area where a creek flows into a pond and it was not too deep so the kids could enjoy the water without having to worry about waves.

Kirra Beach is one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches on the Gold Coast. Kirra beach offers a slightly quieter, more local feel compared to busier spots like Surfers Paradise, making it perfect for families and relaxation-seekers. Soft golden sand, clear blue waves and endless sunshine. Perfect ❤️

We stopped at Kirra Beach whilst visiting Cooly Rocks on Sunday, the beach ⛱️ was great and a nice spot to relax. I was lucky enough to get a carpark opposite the beach as it was jam packed, not too many people in the water. Has a beautiful restaurant located on the corner and clean public toilets. It is a good place, very quiet and relaxing. I'm going to this place frequently because I really like to sunbathe and read with the sound of the sea. In this place you can sniff and make new friends

It’s a great place to surf, canoe, play frisbee and go fishing on the rocks an and a lot of tranquility here. Beaches are partially saturated even if the waves barely reach there. Most interestingly, you can see the airplane flying overhead and even hear the sounds clearly. Currumbin has become one of my top places in the Gold Coast,

This beach is just about a 10-minute walk from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s not crowded at all, making it a very peaceful and relaxing spot to enjoy the ocean.

It has a beach perfect for surfing, and a calm, deep swimming pool. It is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and everything, and the sand is very fine and clean. I love the emerald-clean ocean water, too. kids and dogs friendly. It's by far the best beach.

Nice beach, but not a lot of shady Palms on the sand. Pack an umbrella or beach tent. Nice walk along the foreshore and cafes along the way, which get busy.

One of the most magical sunset spots on the Coast! Burleigh Beach is such a beautiful place to be, especially at sunset. The view is amazing, with golden light over the ocean and the Surfers Paradise skyline in the distance. It’s a great spot for a picnic, a walk along the beach, or just to sit and take in the scenery. The mix of beach, park, and headland gives it a really special feel.

There is incredibly fine sand. The ocean was very wavy, which was good news for surfing, but disappointing for those who came to swim. Parking and Toilets are located right at the entrance. It is a beach where you can have a great time.

Coolangatta is such a great place! And of course, the beach is beautiful as well! You can enjoy the view of the Gold Coast skyline while you swim or just walk along the trail and it is just breathtaking! The beach is also not overcrowded and was not destroyed much by the cyclone so its landscape is well kept! Together with the overall vibe of Coolangatta it just gives chill vibes, much different compared to Surfers Paradise but I actually like this more! This place is just less commercialized and more vacation-type of style! Come on a sunny day and you'll be amazed

Cooly is my FAVOURITE beach on the Gold Coast! Been going for years as it’s the perfect proximity to shops, cafes and restaurants and retail galore along the strip! Has everything you need within walking distance, and the beach is a hidden gem that looks as though you have walked into some unknown paradise. Just next door is Greenmount where it’s a beautiful place for a picturesque picnic, and you can go for a lovely walk on the pathway that takes you on a scenic route. Beach is fantastic for kids as at low tide a natural pool forms that is not dangerous waves and for those that want to surf, you can peter out into the waves. We holiday there every year and it’s the best time of me, my husband and kids lives. I could rave about it for ages, but let’s just say you won’t regret going for a day trip thru summer or a holiday 💞

beautiful white sand beach, plenty of parking spaces, shops just cross road. it's very interesting to view in distance that the bottom level of buildings in Surfers Paradise, are blow sea level.

In the late afternoon near evening, you can clearly see the waves and sea reflecting sunlights, which is very bright but beautiful.

Coolangatta Beach is just a great place to visit and spend quality time with the family relaxing, swimming, building sand castles or just enjoying sitting and let the fresh sea air cool you. I came to the beach with my family today my first visit and I know it will not be my last. What a great place to spend time with my Grandchildren it was such a delight. The water is a beautiful colour whereever you look and there is plenty of beach not to be over crowded with people. Just a great place to be and have fun. There are lots of Cafes and Shops if sitting on the beach isn't your thing but for me the sand is just perfect. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Tallebudgera Creek's crystal-clear waters create a haven for water lovers, perfect for swimming, and unwinding in nature's embrace. A serene place to have a picnic by the shore while watching the sunset, its a shame that was gloomy when we came.

All time favorite beach to take my son . Perfect spot for a swim or play. Beautiful, clear water And lots of space. Close to cafes e.g. Custard Canteen. Can get very busy on warmer days, we always arrive early on weekdays to avoid this.

Definitely one of the best beach in Gold Coast. As a surfer this place is literally paradise, the waves are always strong and not difficult to catch, plenty of space even if is crowded. Plus you should see pretty often one of the best sunset of the Gold Coast.

Lovely beach, a lot of surfers on this windy and rainy day. Very clean area, easy to walk.If you have a trailer there is an uphill side street with many spaces. In low season you can find 2 spaces behind each other.

Absolutely worth a look!!! Went here, while we were holidaying in Surfers Paradise, on the advice of our Hotel Receptionist and was glad we made the drive out there. A group of whales put on an amazing show which we were able to veiw from a well placed look out just a quick walk from our car. Well made, safe and easy access to the beach. The most stunning sunset and veiws of Surfers Paradise across the water. Other beaches around which look really nice as well.

I love traveling, but I think this was the most beautiful sea I’ve seen so far. It was so transparent, clean, and blue—and not too deep, so everyone could enjoy it. I don’t know how to swim, but it was perfect just to dip my feet in. The sand was sooo soft, you wouldn’t even want to wear shoes.

We felt like relaxing on a lovely beach and chose Snapper Rock—what a delightful spot! We settled on the grassy banks, the perfect place to watch the surfers ride the waves. The local toasties were a delicious treat, and the whole atmosphere made for a beautiful, laid-back beach day.

The rocks also give you a nice lookout point for photos or just chilling out🤓 It can get busy, specially during surf comps, and parking is not always easy, but it’s still worth the visit. A lovely spot on the coast to visit. Lots of walking paths and beautiful views.

Greenmount Beach , situated on the southern end of the Gold Coast is an excellent location for families and swimmers. Sheltered from the Southerly winds with surf lifesaving patrols, Greenmount is also an excellent place for learner surfers and the more experienced alike. The Oceanway Walk which skirts around the headland from Greenmount to Rainbow Bay is well worth the effort. Not only will the stunning vistas amaze you, their are also flights of stairs leading down to the beach. At low tide a number of rock pools form, worthy of further exploration. Showers and toilets are nearby and the Greenmount Surf Club is an excellent place for a meal and a cold drink. (check out the deck overlooking Greenmount Beach) Their are a number of other food outlets situated along marine parade. Street Parking, as well as a large area near the Surf Club are available but can be busy during peak weekend & holiday times -Try to arrive as early as possible. Probably the most serene beach in the Gold Coast barely with people and unwanted noises.

The kids had the time of their lives at Greenmount Beach on Sunday. 🏖️🏄‍♀️ One of the great things about this beach is that you can start walking around the hill towards Rainbow Bay but then go down the stairs when you're closer to the water. That way you don't have to walk across the soft sand in the hot sun quite so far. You probably don't want to walk back up the stairs when you leave but once you get off the sand there are showers and a place to buy drinks and icecreams. Of course, if you want to walk a little further, there are plenty of ice-cream shops and restaurants. There is also the Greenmount Surfclub with its bar and restaurant right there and, of course, the Surf Lifeguards are right there on the beach watching over the kids. 🙌🛟

I love this beach. It’s in my favourite spots in Qld. Not overflowing with tourists or body beautiful beefcakes. When it’s high tide it’s perfect for swimming. Low tide you can get between large rocks to sunbake. Parking is competitive in the daytime. There’s a surf club and public bathroom/change room close by.

Great place for a swim. Near Coolangatta and the NSW border. Also close enough to walk to Rainbow Beach as well.

Greenmount beach is a beautiful beach I've been swimming and surfing there since 1970 I was a Greenmount surf club nippers which was excellent every Australian kid this should be compulsory to learn all about the surf swimming board loved it all but flags my favourite the beach is patrolled and is safe for everyone young and old...

Lovely strip of beach for a walk or swim. Club with meals and beach views. Great coffee shop on the main drag.. Lifeguards patrol the beach. The best time to go is mid-morning.

Stunning beach. We almost skipped Gold Coast on our road tour from Sydney to Brisbane. So happy we did not. Such a fresh and young vibe - very different from other, smaller towns on our route. And the view was surprising for me. The skyline looked just like Dubai Marina, a place where I spent almost 10 years of my life. However, the beach was much nicer!

If you want to get away from the busy ends of the Gold Coast, come down to Nobbys Surf Beach in Miami. There’s plenty of places to eat locally and the beach is stunning.

This is the first beach for Chelsea 🐶 She loved walking and dipping the water and met a pot of friends. Very nice and spacious beach with lots of parking.

Life Saver Beach Patrolled Great little beach away from Surfers Paradise. Sqeaky white sandy beach. Shower near the stairwell which is handy to wash off the sand. Overhead Shower and lower tap for feet. Stairs or vehicle ramp access No dogs allowed TIP Arrive before 8:30am to secure parking, like anywhere along the Gold Coast, parking is limited. WHAT TO PACK? Body/boogy board Togs 2 Towels (One to lie on and one to dry yourself) Bottle water Sunscreen Zinc Hat Goggles (if you dislike salt water)

A great place to check out for a morning walk and enjoyed the view and waves splashing against the wave breaker. It seems to be a popular place for fishing. There’s a lighthouse at the end of the trail. Be prepared for the cold wind..

The view is amazing, but without a car it can be a bit tricky to get there. I took a bus to Sea World and then walked (I tried a Lime bike, but it was too heavy for me, so I ended up walking). There’s a pathway out into the sea where you can enjoy a stunning view of Surfers Paradise. Along the way, you’ll see plenty of dogs enjoying the beach and fishers both on the boats and along the shore. The Spit is definitely one of the iconic spots on the Gold Coast.

Such a lovely spot to go for a walk, the paths are large and flat which i find great for wheel chairs, prams ect. In summer though it does get very hot on the walk to the end so if you have dogs you may want to keep that in mind as their paws can get burnt.

Budds Beach is such a hidden gem — calm, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing moment by the river. It’s just a few minutes from the buzz of Surfers Paradise, but the vibe here is completely different: peaceful, local, and laid-back. The sunset here is just spectacular — golden skies reflecting on the water, gentle breeze, and a sense of calm you rarely find in the city. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic by the water as you watch the sun go down. We captured the moment with our drone, and the colours were unreal. Truly a special place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the Gold Coast. Tip: Head there for sunset, bring snacks, and just take it all in — it’s unforgettable.

Budds Beach is such a hidden gem! It’s the perfect spot for kids to play and families to relax. My daughter had a fantastic time here with her friends, splashing in the calm waters and playing on the sandy shore. The peaceful vibe and stunning scenery make it a great place for a fun and safe day out. Highly recommend!

A fantastic place to launch a kayak. Very busy on weekends and school holidays. Early morning is always best to launch your watercraft as there are many parking spaces on the side of the road, next to the beach. Magical place for photography of the Surfers skyline, especially at night and golden hour.

Budds Beach is a hidden gem for the locals and backpackers in the area. It's one of very few locations that is on the water, with sand and gets the afternoon and evening sunlight. The opposite of what you get at the beach at Surfers for example. Budd's has open grass areas, playground for the kids, electric BBQ spots, picnic tables, and plenty of benches. Public toilets and outdoor shower too. The smooth concrete foot path added about 5 years ago makes it nice for bike rides for the kids or skating. You can certainly wade in the water here to cool down but personally I would not swim in the water with the amount of sting rays, bull sharks and water craft in the area.

Great little dog friendly beach in Tweed Heads. Can get a little crowded at times so if your dog doesn’t get along with other dogs then probably not the best place to take them. There are a number of parks and open grassland behind the beaches which are perfect for dogs to be let of their leashes and exercised etc. Just keep them away from the sunbathing lizards.. they can get a little cranky : )

A busy place, a surfing competition on Sat 7th June 2025

It's a great spot to watch the surfers when the swell is up. I have found that Duranbah does get a bunch of debris on the beach after storms. Its most likely from run off from the Tweed river. Parking can also be an issue on the busy days. Toilets and change room are nearby if required.

Gorgeous beach away from the crowds but still with the awesome contrast of sea and big sky rise buildings behind. The beach is clean and quiet with lifeguards. There is parking right by the beach - which is free - and plenty of taps to clean your feet or thongs. Really can't go wrong here! Just be prepared for the big old waves that'll knock you right out.

Kurrawa Beach in Broadbeach may not be the safest place for a swim but it’s my happy place in this world. 💙 Beautiful sunsets, seagulls everywhere, nice reflections on the wet sands, wild waves… I love this place.

Beaches in gold coast are so clean and beautiful. This one in broadbeach is not crowded, has volleyball, and playground nearby.

When you walk on the beach, you can sense the sands on higher elevations are saturated, of a thick layer and relatively softer than any other beaches, so the footprints are deep but sands are very firm on the edges. There are only very few people chilling out here and the area is extremely spacious and serene. Moreover, if you stand at a higher position, you can clearly see Surfers Paradise far away on the rocks. One of the most underrated beaches in the Gold Coast.

Amazing place If you go there between August and September you will have the chance to enjoy the weather and the big plus the Whales migration

Probably the most perfect swimming spot in Brisbane. If you go early, you can use BBQ seats. There are areas with strong waves that are good for surfing There is a calm area suitable for deep snorkeling at the same time. Sand is the perfect place for tanning if it's soft. The downside is the lack of parking spaces.

Great place for a quiet swim, picnic, or for a walk with your dog. Great views of planes coming in for landing at GC Airport. If you like to surf, then head over the dunes into the open ocean and catch some waves. Also has a patrolled beach. 🌞

Currumbin Alley is a premiere sunrise and surf photography location. Additionally, it offers fantastic sunset and skyscape opportunities of an evening when favourable high-cloud conditions prevail. As a surfer, it’s one of the most beginner friendly locations on the Gold Coast to learn, while offering enough for more advanced surfers to enjoy a relaxed session of surfing. As with many surf spots on the Gold Coast, there is the potential for it to become crowded, however, as a large space there usually enough room once people disperse.

Beautiful beach at the Southern end of the Gold Coast right on the border with NSW. Pristine clean sand and water with plenty of space for both swimmers and surfers to share. Has a lifeguard hut (no 1) and surf club at one end

The beach line has significantly changed from my last visit after the invasion of cyclone Alfred but it’s much enlarged and looks very unique and spacious now.

Very beautiful beach. Good for surfing and also for bathing. You can walk into many meters until get deep. The tidal currents can be a bit strong. Also, visited by people from many parts of the world. There are a lot of Brazilian people playing football (soccer), and are awesome!

Perfect place to swim and have a picnic. So many gorgeous picnics locations either on the hill or right up on the sand! Waves break quite early so really nice for a relaxing swim, feels like being in a gentle wave pool.

Spectacular beach, and one of the best spots for a sunset beer at the Rainbow Bay Surf Club. Good for a wave, but always crowded. Great spot to chill and soak in the vibes. The fish n chip shop is epic just down the road, but beware of the seagulls. They are mega ballsy and will take the food out of your hand... literally. Soak up the sun and enjoy your beach day! 🤙

I went there because there were no waves, as I can't swim. The water was shallow, and there were many families visiting. It's a beach where you can relax and enjoy safely. However, the shower and restroom facilities were still under construction and unavailable. Yet, there are makeshift shower facilities outside for a quick rinse.

What a special place. The water, the sand, the views… it’s amazing. Can’t wait to come back already, you could be in the Maldives.

This is our family’s favourite park on the Gold Coast! Our kids absolutely love it! there’s always a great variety of activities to enjoy. The park is beautifully maintained, clean, and perfect for families, kids, or anyone looking to relax or stay active outdoors. I also love that my favourite cafe, Barrel Espresso, is right there, it makes every visit even better! Kudos to the Gold Coast Council for doing such an amazing job keeping the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

This park is definitely a paradise for kids who love playgrounds because you can literally name all kinds of playground equipments here including the rare ones I’ve never seen before. Moreover, there’s even a water park called Aqua Park but you need to buy a ticket for that, which isn’t free. Or you can just build sandcastles and play with water on the river beach. On the other hand, I saw a bunch of people having great picnics on the BBQ areas and simply on the grass. There are tiny lodges with benches where you can lay down and relax as if you’re in a sauna, and a large pier that has long benches with the most magnificent views and it’s also a ferry stop and great fishing spot. It has a decent number of pubic toilets in the park and if you are hungry, there’s a seafood restaurant and an espresso shop. The welcome sign near the front gate which is made of grass and flowers looks amazing and memorable. If you are taking the light rail, I suggest you disembark at Southport instead of Broadwater Parklands because there are much more shops and restaurants near Southport station. To top it off, the park is much bigger and more versatile than I imagined. It’s absolutely an excellent place for both adults and children to visit.

Broadwater Parklands is such a great place to spend the day. Super open, peaceful, and right by the water. There’s always space to walk, have a picnic, or just chill under the trees. It’s also perfect for kids — there’s a big playground area where they can run around and have fun. The views of the Broadwater are beautiful, especially in the late afternoon. Families, runners, kids on scooters — it’s got a little bit of everything. Clean, safe, and just a really nice vibe overall.

A great walking beach, sand was firm and beach is easy to access. We stayed in proximity to the beach, just the other side of Gold Coast Hwy. However parking may be an issue closer to the beach. There are plenty of cafes near and the Nobby Beach SLSC serves food as well. Recommended a visit.

Perfect beach!! Amazing! Long, clean. There are plenty of lifeguards, they will put signs - about water conditions, and tell you if you can swim/surf there. There is cafes, public toilets, public shower as well (near the cafe, by the campsite). Free parking, for 4 hours, and unlimited for a night. Beautiful view to Gold Coast skyscrapers. Also you can walk to the city from there - there is a path way. Good for morning run as well.

It can easily be seen from North Burleigh Lookout on the hill and the beach is less crowded than Surfers Paradise.

Amazing place theme parks are so fun my first holiday ever so recommend going at least once make sure you have fun in the cities though.

Wow, one of the best paths in the Gold Coast, unfairly overshadowed by the more famous Burleigh or Broadbeach. A lot quieter than the other beaches too, with Tugan shops right there perfect for a coffee or snack. The path is wide too, with a large kids playground next to the surf club.

Did some stealth camping for three days 🤫 Loving the beach view and listening to the waves to go to sleep. Toilets were good quite clean and bins all around.

Great place to go for a swim. Not busy, easy parking, lot of chance to find the parking spot even summer holiday time!

Lovely place for young kids to swim. The pelican feeding is a bit of a tourist trap , but it is what it is. Tourists seem to love seeing the pelicans. Fish and chips was ok. Could do with some more shaded seating. Most areas were taken up by groups who never left for hours on end. Parking is hit or miss. You can be lucky, or you might have to walk for miles.

Great little lagoon. Sheltered lagoon. Good for a swim in. Toilets nearby as well as a couple of eateries. It is also an area where there is pelicans of which are feed each day at 1.30pm. Great to see.

Great spot to take the kids. Lagoon is a good size, can be deep at high tide though. Have even seen dolphins swim in close! The Pelican feeding daily at 1:30pm is a big highlight. Parking can be hard, so get there early.

Perfect place to bring the little ones for a swim! There is public toilets, lots of car parking, kids playground nearby plus a cafe! Stand out features are that the water is nice and calm here (hence perfect for the kids) plus easy access to shade. Perfect place to watch the sun rise with a coffee!!!

Wow! Gold Coast has so many little gems like Ian Dipple Lagoon. Great for young families who want to just have a dip on a hot sunny days, swim/feed the pelicans or just eat fish n chips by the lagoon. Charis Seafood & small number of specialty shops are there, undercover tables & there is car park available. Although, it gets quite busy.

I used to live wine street crossing it. It is a quiet and pleasant place to relax. Sometimes it can be a bit busy. There is a seafood market, always sth to grab to eat.

Theres a cafe & camping ground there. It's not far across the Island with numerous enjoyable short walks to the ocean beach which has kilometers of empty sand, although it's not recommended to swim there as you're own your own.

Stunning place with amazing beaches and rich nature. Make sure you tale food and water as there is no one around besides surfers and sharks.

A beautiful long sand island providing a massive safe boating and water sports and recreation area for a very large section of the Queensland GoldCoast. Without South and It’s larger Relative North Stradbroke and Morton island it’s debatable if the huge wealth and popularity that the SE corner of Queensland has amassed would even exist in any capacity that it does today? These wonderful buffers to the elements need to be carefully managed to ensure continued protection for Millenia.

A great beach that you can access from Burleigh Heads by taking the ocean view hike. Protected from waves but not wind. A great place for families.

Our last day of our Goldcoast holiday was spent setting up here for the day. 5.30am for the best spot on the beach ⛱️ 👌 we had kayaks, sup boards, beach cricket, fishing Rods, BBQ, gazebo & best friends & our kids company. What a glorious day 👌🏖🤍🍻🇦🇺🇦🇺🌄

I feel like I shouldn’t be reviewing this area as it’s a little hidden gem for locals. If you’ve moved here or a local that doesn’t know about it, come on by. It’s fairly central to most of the Gold Coast. It’s a beautiful spot for spending a sunny afternoon. If you’re a tourist, don’t come here. It’s horrid, dirty and too far away.

Literally everyone who comes here takes their dogs but it’s not too crowded here. I enjoy the breathtaking landscape and strong waves here.

This is a magical local beach with its crystal Clearwater and views out to the ocean. Easy walk along the Rockwall along with bridges seats barbecues toilets free parking although it does get busy you will need to get in really early on this. You can walk around to the swimming area paddleboard put your tin in at the boat ramp fish off the rocks or surf the break. It’s got something for everybody. It’s a must visit whenyou’re on holiday holidays.

Perfect spot to swim and enjoy the sun. We went everyday during our stay at varying times and it was never packed.

I love this beach! Only issue is that there is typically a strong current going through the deeper parts.

The southeastern most corner of the entire Queensland and you can see the reefs, rocks and beach together. Terrain is very distinctive and it’s quite interesting that the cliff looks taller than a 10 storey building and you can feel a sense of “Danger” as if there wasn’t fences at wall. It’s also interesting that you can see turbulent flowing out of the drainage pipe. To sum up, remote location but still popular and worth a visit.

I have been coming here for 40 years, such a wonderful view of the pacific sea and the skyline of Surfers Paradise is wonderful, the Tweed River meets the Ocean and Duranbah beach is a great place to sunbake or surf, so many memorial plaques and tributes too

Nice beach, plenty of space for dogs to play and swim. Car parking can be a hassle.

This is a great place to take the dog for a leash free run along the beach. There is about 2km of dog beach from the sea wall. It does get very busy on weekends and parking can be difficult. I recommend going during the week and as it is a much more relaxed atmosphere. The puppers love it every time!

Great beach for dogs and swimming. Unfortunately there are fishing people at water edge at certain times which makes difficult to walk dogs off leash. But amazing beach.

I’m another that drives an hour from Brisbane to bring my fur ball for some beach fun! It’s a great off leash opportunity for the dogs to let it all hang out, socialize with other dogs and get some exercise too. The beach entry has a good toilet block and dog wash down facility to get that sand off. There are dogs of all sizes some huge some tiny, it’s great fun to see them having a good time, pretty responsible owners too! The cafe gets plenty of good business and serves a great coffee with a bacon and egg roll!

I drive all the way from Brisbane to bring my dogs who absolutely love it. We have nothing like this in Brisbane. So many lovely dog owners who seem to have their Mutts under control. The waves are amazing and my dogs go absolutely bizerk running up and down and riding the waves. It’s truly beautiful and makes you realise how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful country. It’s worth spending time with your dogs as when they’re gone you will regret it. In fact it’s better to spend time with them than some people haha. Take the time and bring your pups down they will love it.

Fantastic dog beach which was very clean and spacious, with plenty of other dogs to socialist and play with. Lovely spot to watch the sunset and a few small walks to explore. There was ample parking which was a short 5 walk away, although the area did get very busy quite quickly. Brilliant place to take your dog for some exercise and play.

This is our favourite dog & paddle boarding beach. We spend hours here soaking up the sun & the good vibes. Parking can be a bit tricky but we usually find a spot (even if it's across the road). A cafe & kids playground nearby too, win win.

My dog absolutely loves it here. It gets a little bit stinky, as you would expect from a dog beach, but so nice to be able to swim, tan, and have the dogs around.

It's a nice beach, sheltered with access to more open beach. It is very confusing though because for some reason they've made a big chunk of the entry to the dog beach, not a dog beach. So you see no dog signs everywhere. But there's people walking their dogs all through it to get to the dog beach. Would be nice if council just removed the stick, sorry, the signs and made the whole area dog friendly.

Amazing off leash dog beach with plenty of open space, shallow swimming areas and plenty of dogs to socialise with. There’s several water fountains and foot wash stations with the opportunity to give your dog a quick rinse too. Toilet facilities near the main beach entrance and parking can become quite difficult during busy periods.

Wonderful beach to take your dog and let them roam off leash! The parking can be an issue though, and so get there early!

One of the best dog beaches around! Waves on the beach side, or calmer water on the creek side. Plenty of room for the dogs, there are showers and water facilities close by, but the car park can get busy on weekends!

I just want to take a moment to express my deep admiration for the customer service I witnessed this past weekend, courtesy of this car rental company. It’s truly remarkable how they managed to ruin my amazing boss’s weekend plans, even though she’s one of the kindest and most hardworking people I know. She spent all day Saturday meal prepping, packing, and wrapping gifts for her family, only to have her plans completely derailed by this company’s utter lack of communication. Apparently, they decided to cancel her reservation without any warning or effort to inform her. Imagine the joy of having your weekend ruined when you're preparing to enjoy time with family – thanks to their incredible customer service. What really stands out is the company’s apparent refusal to offer any solutions. Not once did they consider reaching out to other fleets or offering any alternatives to ensure that a paying customer, who had already put down a deposit, wouldn't be left hanging. Truly, this is a shining example of how NOT to treat your customers. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Just stellar customer care all around.

I have previously rented cars from Enterprise Surfers Paradise and had good experiences. However, today about one and half hours after returning the car, my credit card was charged $1512 for a missing shelf in the boot! If there was a shelf, I had not seen any for the duration of the rental. No one inspected and reported any damage upon returning the car while I was on their premise. I only knew about the charge after I received a notification from the credit card company. I called Enterprise Surfers Paradise and their toll free number to ask about the credit card charge but no one answered. Then I received an email about the damage MISSING SHELF IN THE BOOT. Really… lack of protocols, lack of communication and unauthorised charges on customers’ credit cards aren’t acceptable in any business dealings. I am awaiting for Enterprise response and wondering what this shelf in the boot looks like!

We booked the car service through Booking.com. It was a smooth and pleasant experience for us. The price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will certainly recommend the company to our friends.

Original: When I asked if I could take it for another day and return it to the airport (where there is after hours return makes- it was gonna cost me $99 apparently.. 💩) Would shop around more next time before coming back to this location for hire vehicles

Worst customer service We locked the keys in the car No one available to assist. They don’t have spare We ended waiting for almost 4 hours and called other offices, the only advice they provided is (break the window) We called QACV and they said we can’t do much They We ended up calling a locksmith on our own expense. They billed us $230 when they couldn’t assist

What an absolute fantastic company. We had the pleasure of hiring the Lamborghini Huracan STO for a surprise birthday present for our 11 year old son, who is Lambo Mad. The service from the first phone call right up to the Company Tilt Tray (what a rip snorter of a tilt tray) was second to none, very professional, and the employees we meet with presented well. Was really nice high tide is beautiful but no facilities, there was some bins but they were full not sure how often they get emptied we took our rubbish with us.

It was an amazing tour. I never had such a great guide, Peter was so friendly and helpfullness. We saw so many beautiful Spots. Waterfalls kangoroos and Koalas. A Great Team and a Great Tour!

This was a really authentic and truly unforgettable experience starting with a tour of the Gondwana rainforest with its many waterfalls and walkways . We also saw Numinbah Falls which was also beautiful. Peter was the most fantastic guide and gave us so much information on the wildlife , landscapes and foliage every step of the way . He picked us up from our hotel and was so friendly and we loved his playlist ! The walks were not too strenuous but waterproof walking shoes would be recommended. The views were spectacular with plenty of time to take photos . Peter provided us with a lovely lunch of salad , fruit and snacks as well as water which was much appreciated. We went from the rainforest to the Coombahbah Lakelands where there were an abundance of kangaroos, baby Joeys and Peter found us koalas , too . This really was the highlight of our trip to the Gold Coast and we thought it was great value for money . Thank you so much , Peter , for sharing your knowledge and giving us so many amazing memories.

Talitha is very knowledgeable for her age! Very enthusiastic, friendly and very accommodating! She suggested really nice photography spots and goes above and beyond to enrich our experience. Peter who organised our tour was so accommodating as well. Had some unforeseen circumstances but Peter still nicely accommodated us on a private tour! Would totally come back for this tour, 10/10 recommend!

This tour is an amazing opportunity to get to know the rarity of the nature in the Gold Coast. Peter is an excellent guide who kindly shares with you all the information about the nature and all kinds of animals. Peter picked us up at our AirBnB and was a great driver to all our destinations. We had a delicious lunch right next to the waterfall. It’s nice to see a person who is so passionate about his job. Thank you for making our time special❤️

A fabulous trip and Peter is a great guide. So much easier and hassle free than self drive. The waterfalls were quite amazing to this Victorian and although I’m quite used to kangaroos the add on for kangaroos and koalas impressed even me . We were never hurried and the picnic lunch in the bush was so nice . Thankyou for a great day .

I joined the Glow Worms, Rainforest & Waterfalls Tour with Gold Coast Rainforest Tours and it was fantastic from start to finish. Pete runs things perfectly and special thanks to our guide Talitha, who made the whole day relaxed, fun and really interesting. We visited beautiful spots like Natural Bridge, Best of All Lookout, Twin Falls, Purling Brook Falls, and finished with the magical glow worms at Curtis Falls. Such an amazing way to explore the real Gold Coast beyond the beaches — can’t recommend it enough!

I recently had the pleasure of joining Peter on a rainforest and waterfall experience, and I must say, it was the best tour I've had in a long time. Peter is an absolute gem of a guide. His energy and enthusiasm for his work are contagious, and it's clear that he's deeply passionate about the natural world. Peter's knowledge of the area and its wildlife is impressive, and he's always ready to share interesting facts and stories along the way. What struck me most was his patience. He made sure everyone in the group felt included and comfortable throughout the entire journey. The highlight of the day, without a doubt, was getting up close and personal with the kangaroos and witnessing the stunning Twin Falls. Peter's guidance and insights truly enhanced this memorable experience. Good theme park for kids and families. The lines for each most rides are over 60 mins. They have technical issues and adds to the wait time. Sometimes they just stop working. Not much food choices. The shows were great.

About half of the rides were closed. Not great when you're spending a lot on tickets. Many of the food vendors started closing around 14h30. Not sure why but again, not great value for money when you can't grab a bite to eat because everything is closed.

SeaWorld is tired. Really tired. Only two rides were open. Polar Bear picture summed up our visit. Less than an hour on-site.

Great place to take the kids and see the animals. Pack food to avoid spending lots of money. Get in early to watch the shows but a good place for the kids to learn.

Fantastic for kids and families to visit. Leviathan line just too long to wait for the 2 days we went no matter what time.

It has become more about rides than sealife, you could probably see the entire live portion of the park within the hour, everything past the dolphin show is just roller coasters whizzing around aquamans dacks and what not. Not what it once was.

I don’t know why it’s called pelican beach because there’s not even one pelican but I still enjoy the view and sometimes Aquaduck just comes from water onto the land through its passage here. If you want to see pelicans, you should go to Labrador beach and you’ll see the big ones.

Beautiful location and great spot to sit relax and take a few photos of the sunset. I recon the morning would be even better with a still glass water to get some nice reflections.

This is a fantastic place to start a Bike ride as you can head north or south or to The Spit and there's so much to see and do in the vicinity! Highly recommended!

Offers a great view of Southport, and I saw a lot of people using the beach and walking along the shore. They have public toilets and picnic facilities towards the big bridge.

A wonderful part of a morning walk at Sunrise. This little haven never disappoints during Sunrise due to its easterly aspect.

Great little beach that 'on rare occasions' has prominent rock exposed due to sand reduction.

Nice place to swim for all ages, bathroom facilities, and fully fenced playground. Was an awesome day apart from another group set up in the garden behind us right next to our gazebo hub with our sleeping babies with 2 huge speakers which woke our kids, started afire for their meat spit roast which smoked out our tent. A huge area and they chose to set up in a garden right next to us.

Nice lake, with some play areas for toddlers and a market too.
