Everything looked very pretty and the cherry crumble cake was yummiii 🍒💕💕 BUT overpriced hot chocolate which didn’t taste special. Service was overworked so not attentive (still friendly tho)

I’ve read about bad service in reviews and was prepared for it but actually it was more or less ok maybe because there were not many people. Chocolate mousse cake and Dutch hot chocolate were tasty. Interior of cafe is very nice as well, really authentic. Would go there again for a cup of good chocolate.

The cafe is located in the city center, very close to station Kröpke The main advantages: - good location, - nice interior, - great assortment of desserts and drinks (several different varieties of cacao!) But, the staff is very unfriendly: the lady on the counter was unbelievably rude. It seems she doesn't like foreigners. After this kind of service I didn't want to stay in this place

The cakes are amazing, variety of options. However there is very few servers with respect to the size of the cafe and the number of customers. The server took my cake order, without taking my drink order, then came back with the wrong cake, and threw it on the table, and left. I had to wait and call him again to make my coffee order, he still didn't take it correctly as I ordered a cappuccino mit hafermilch but got a regular cappuccino. Do better please.

The hot kakao and raspberry cake were delicious 😋. However, if you want to find a place to enjoy it to the fullest, this is not the right place because it was too crowded and the space was small, the tables were too tight to each other 🥲.

Nice evening on the rooftop with my family. The food was great, good portion sizes and beautiful view. The menu had English which was very helpful. The staff was slow, but the restaurant got busy quickly. The staff did apologize and she did her job well. The rooftop is open to smoking at the tables, which I did not like. The tables are close enough to have to smell the cigarette smoke when people smoke. We had a variety of dishes, but I would say the beef was best.

Fabulous spot to view a part of the city from. It was a lovely atmosphere and very nice service by the staff. We had to laugh when there was a sudden storm hit and the staff were running around picking up cushions and blankets and making sure everyone was protected and dry. Great place

We absolutely loved this place. We came for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were welcomed by smiling staff and the service was at the highest standard all evening. The food was absolutely delicious; both the lamb and simmentaler entrecote were cooked to perfection. The veggies, couscous and potato-selleri puree fresh and flavorful. The strawberry-pistacio tiramisu was delicious but has nothing to do with tiramisu and would have been bette riff with a different name. The views are breathtaking and it’s a great way to enjoy Hannover from above. The only minus from our side is the awful smoke from cigarettes but this is a problem across German restaurants.

The lamb was amazing and the service was great as well a little pricey for one person but overall good quality service and food !

I have been to many restaurants in Hanover but this is the first once which is exceptionally good. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. The views are spectacular. The food is of high quality and fresh. And the most important of all service is really quick and good. You don't have to wait for hours for your food to arrive. Withing 5 minutes everything is there despite that the resturant has many guests. My only complain is that the desserts are way too sweet (I'm not into sweets at all).

We've visited the restaurant on a Friday evening with a reservation and were seated beautifully with a great view of Hannover. + food is delicious + the drinks menu is huge + cocktails are big and well fabricated + service is welcoming and attentive + the views are stunning, especially at sunset + location is great, in the middle of the city + card & mobile payment + LGBTQIA+ friendly + 2 floors down you have a course for neon mini golf, which is fun ~ the interior is very modern ~ prices are above average, I guess due to the location - nothing bad to say

Walked past this place on a sunny afternoon and it was crowded inside and outside. Came back on a cold evening and had a delicious mixed herbal tea. The waitresses were very nice and friendly and they made us feel very welcome. I’ll be back.

I love this place, it's too beautiful. You have different dishes to eat, but my favorite will always be the New York cheescake, it's the best dessert I've ever had in my life. The service is very friendly and fast.

To have coffee I wanted to try this building covered with green leaves. Atmosphere inside is good. I ordered cappuccino and some cake with berries. They said they don't cook it everyday. It wasn't perfect cake but with cream inside it was good. Coffee was nothing special. You need to wait like 15 minutes for coffee, at least I did.

This place feels like something out of a dream, especially in spring or summer. The ivy-covered building adds a quiet kind of beauty, almost like it’s been hidden away from the world. There’s a calm, gentle atmosphere here that’s hard to describe — you just feel good being in it. The girls working here are genuinely kind and warm, which only makes the whole experience better.

For me it was a secret garden , very delicious desserts and tees. I highly recommend it to see the warm atmosphere ❤️

As tourists, we just wanted a simple yet nice and traditional place for breakfast, so this cafe was perfect for it — right in the town centre, with wide range of food and drinks in the menu and moody cozy interior. Staff wasn't rude as some of the other reviews say, they just weren't extra friendly, which is totally fine. Everything was done quickly and easily, food was tasty, would recommend.

I made the mistake ordering a „homemade lemonade“ here for 5€ and in the menu it was written „home made lemanoda with lemon and Rosmarin“ 😒I marked them with circles so you can find them and the taste was another disappointment…

I came here for lunch, which is probably where I went wrong. I got the lasagna and it was not good. However, my friend comes here all the time to do work and he loves it, so the café drinks are probably good.

Bright, area with large seating area. Vast menu including vegetarian options, full breakfast menu and beer cocktails. Friendly staff and english menus available. Very popular especially around lunch times. Soups, salads and coffees make up the menu.

My first restaurant place that I went as soon as I arrived there. Asked for German typical food. I just LOVED IT. I will probably come back for some new dishes to try out. Nice place, good ambience.

This place is (was?) a classic in Hannover, I used to go there 3-4 times a year. But the service has most definitely deteriorated over the last years. When we entered the pub in February this year around 10pm we were greeted: "we close soon"! The staff had no interest in the usually friendly service, they rather tried to get rid of us and other customers asap.

Nice place, friendly staff, quick service. Great selection including tasty vegan meals, with weekly changing lunch offers which always include vegan options and have never disappointed me. Update a couple years later: still absolutely awesome.

A great place for a continental breakfast and coffee. You can watch the world go by as you enjoy the generous portions of cold cuts of meat and cheese. Recommend the fitness and classic breakfast, came back on every day of my past 2 trips to Hannover. Also enjoyed a gigantic ice-cream on a nice sunny day. As an international traveller my only comment would be to have more pictures in the menu. Will be back when I'm in town

We stopped here several times for ice cream during our stay in Hannover. The flavors were delicious and tasted very natural. The only downside is that it can sometimes be hard to find a seat as the place is quite crowded.

Get the Tiramisu, and thank me later! It’s 9/10. Update: I had it once again and it was sour.

For the first time we decided to book the hotel without breakfast... so while having the train 🚆... we have to haave our breakfast 😋 No high expectation... Normal breakfast A colleague picked a croissant wasn't wow 😳 Decided to take a cheese toast ... eatable ... nothing left in my memory for the taste... must be more than normal The orange juice was fresh 🍊

Since it was very crowded, we waited a while to be seated. Although I don't remember the exact name of the omelettes we bought, I think one was Greek style and the other was something with avocado (photo below). It took them more than 50 minutes to bring it, it would be okay if it was something else, but we were kept waiting too long just for the omelette. It tasted good, but the pancakes we saw on the table opposite looked better 😋

Breakfast burrito Egg Benedict - Amazing food! Big portions! Quick service! Nice employee! Great atmosphere! Definitely recommend to come! - Space is not big inside and only allow around 15 people but there are seats outside for about 3 tables.

A fabulous find in Hannover. We popped in for coffee (and this was excellent) but were persuaded by the menu to stay for brunch. The omelette with feta was tasty and the 3 cheese toasted sandwich was filling and good. The service was lovely and welcoming.

This is my favorite breakfast spot! Everyone was friendly and the food was fresh and fulfilling. The atmosphere was cozy and comfy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. If it’s cool/cold outside, they will give you a blanket. I love that the bathrooms have motivating quotes vs a mirror. This is a must stop if you are in Hannover!

We wanted to visit and while we walked to the store upon arrival we realized the store was full. However, the water inside saw us and came outside to inform us that a group is leaving soon and handed us over the menu's to check while waiting. Super friendly and Cozy place. Amazing prices. Friendly stuff and they also provided water for our dog. Highly recommend

If you want your photos of food or whatever I guess you can go and stay in line. Food doesn't taste very well tho. For a breakfast place atleast coffee should be good and they should be able to cook an egg. I got a raw "poached" egg a tasteless and half cold cappuccino and on top waiting and timing is very off and some random prices like 4€ for 1/2 avocado 7€ orange juice.

The eggs were great, the coffee was nice and the service was really good. I really like the Bread, it was crispy without being hard and it was perfect to eat with the Turkisch eggs.

I went there for open buffet breakfast. Service: 6/10 Taste: 1/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Simit was so dry and seemed like from yesterday or the day before. Tea was tasteless and bitter. Price performance ratio is bad. Too expensive for that quality. Tea costs extra. Ambiance is nice, service ok.

I am a traveler. My hobby is to discover places where to eat best sweet things. I went to an greek restaurant in Hanovra, during CEBIT 2018, and the guy from there recomand me "Efendy Bey". As I said, I eat a lot of sweet. But like this....I didn't eat never. Not even in Turkey, Dubai, Greece or any other country. I higly recomand it !

I liked this cafe. The cappuccino with cheese croissant were delicious. It was nice to have little cookie 🍪 alongside with cappuccino. The croissant was fresh. The are three tables outside. The staff is friendly and works good. I would suggest to add relax music. The cafe is not far away from the main railway station. The prices are reasonable.

Small cafe not far from the Train station. There is a toilet here. Coffee wasn't good. Citrus tarte was ok, but the almond croissant wasn't very tasty. Maybe other desserts are better, but not for me...

Lovely bakery. I had the chocolate éclair and one of the "tartes". They were both really delicious and tasted authentic. I just had to buy two extra pies to share with my friends. Totally recommend.

High quality French pastries with very good dark hot chocolate and cappuccino. The lemon tarte was incredible and the nougat one extremely sophisticated. The eclair and the fruit tart were also very high quality and everything had just enough sugar so it wasn't overly sweet, which is extremely important in good patisserie.

The Patissere Elysee is a great French patisserie with lots of different, delectable pastries to choose from. The quality of the cakes and pastries offered here is marvelous. Both the presentation and taste are impeccable. They offer signature mousse cakes and little cake pieces, croissants, pastries, as well as Macarons and a small selection of chocolates. The only downside to this cafe is the pricetag of some of their products. Even though their food is great, I am not sure it warrants the, in some instances, exorbitant prices. I cannot tell how much of it is the need to cover the rising costs and how much is due to greedflation.

Coffee is superb. Cakes are absolutely sublime. The pistachio and cherry cake in the picture was heavenly, so light and fluffy and creamy. Service was friendly and patient with us as non German speaking Brits! Had to go back on our second day as it was so good plus the prices are also great for a coffee, much cheaper than the coffee chains and much better too. I notice some people say it's expensive but it's not compared to British prices at all.

Love the vibes and the friendly service. I had a Zimtschnecke and Hand drip coffee. They were both tasty. There is free WiFi in store but it’s “German speed” lol don’t expect too much. Would definitely visit again if I’m around.

It's a small coffee shop yet so chilling and not crowded. The quality of the coffee is, i would say, a top notch. Perfectly made, perfect temperature, and the taste of the bean itself comes out of it. The Barista handled the shop alone and even so he's still showing a good Hospitality and friendly towards everyone he met. 10/10 best coffee place in Hannover and deserves more attention. Would visit again if i had a chance in the future

Cappuccino was amazing! Just strong enough but not overpowering. Beautiful latte art ❤️ Cake was also totally vegan and great. However, the vibe of the cafe was not as laid back as some of my favorites in Nordstadt, as the baristas were not as friendly. I felt a bit awkward asking for regular milk as the option was not mentioned when taking my order (only cow milk alternatives). Might come back again at some point though.

If you are looking for some positiv vibes or cheer you up - I can recommend to visit Hippo Bio Vegan. Very nice place with great atmosphere because of the friendly owners :). I visited the cafe about 2 months ago while in the city of Hannover. I went there because of some sweet cake and the positiv reviews about the owners - I did not get disappointed. We had a nice chat and even created a new mix of plant based milks for the cappuccino :-). The creamy chocolate cake as well as the carrot cake were also very nice. BTW: thanks for the run to get me the laptop cable I forgot.

The coffee was good but not super exceptionally for the price. Tables and chair are way too close to one another and privacy is not a thing. The good thing is they give water to your coffee and there is a water for dogs. You cannot pay with a card for some reason.

The service is super nice!! The cookies are also nice and they even have gluten free options! But unfortunately they do not have cold drinks… only warm! The atmosphere is really nice but i do not recommend you to sit near the coffee machines or to have a meeting near where they will prepare you the drink because it can get really loud… overall nice place and i do recommend their gluten free cookies

Cute little café in der List—tried their iced matcha latte, but honestly couldn’t really taste the matcha; it felt more like milk and sugar. Still enjoyable overall. Big plus that they use all bio ingredients, and I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating — perfect for sunny days!

Unfortunately the coffee is not good at all. Espresso was bitter and burned. No real flavour profile or taste, plus as usual it is too darkly roasted. The cafe also has beans for sale but they just say “Colombia”, “Mexico”, etc. Zero further info. That’s like going into a wine shop and all the info you have is that the wine is from France, or Italy, or Spain. To consider this place as an expert in coffee is a joke.

We stopped by here for drinks during our brief layover in Hanover. We saw some veggie options on the menu and decided to try them - Potato vegetable gratin, Stew with potato and vegetables & kids Nemo teller were all excellent!

Great atmosphere during late lunch, service is reasonable and but not very warm. Food portion is huge, taste is authentic. Good options for Germany food.

The waitress was very friendly and helpful, even though she couldn’t understand English, she still made us feel welcome. The beer was refreshing, the sausage nicely balanced (not too salty), and the nachos were the perfect snack before our dinner. Great atmosphere and service—definitely recommend!

Avoid! The taste of the food server is not even close to the authentic Spanish dishes. I’ve ordered patatas fritas and I was served with the cheapest kind of chips you can find in any poor fast food. Also the cheese was terrible. When the waiter asked if everything is ok with the food, I said that I the cheese is not great but he didn’t care. I asked for the cheese to be taken out of the bill, I received the rudest treatment ever from the waiter! He said it’s my problem that I don’t like it and was passively aggressive! I was absolutely shocked! I would never go there again!

This place has a great vibe on weekends in the old city. They had an English menu which was a nice extra. Their food was great and the staff were ultra friendly! I would recommend this place anytime as a great quality franchise that doesn’t feel super franchised - still has that personal touch. The food was fairly priced and the cake was okay.

It's a fantastic restaurant in a good location. The staff are friendly and many have clearly been with the restaurant for a good amount of time. Great service, great recommendations, and great food... Every meal I have had here always leaves me wanting to visit again.

Ridiculously overpriced and bland food. Small bits of ground beef in the vegetarian tomato sauce. No garlic, no salt and pepper and no olive oil in the bruschetta. The owner got special treatment when he came to watch loud Italian TikToks at a very special table in the center of the restaurant. It was also the only table with a tablecloth. Can’t recommend.

One of the best restaurants in town. The hospitality that we had was amazing. The ambiance and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect. They serve Italian food. We had the spaghetti with tomato sauce which was out of this world, and we had the sea bass. We finished everything on the plate. I really recommend this place.

Nice cozy place with friendly staffs. The coffee and cake (küchen) was really good. Though the "frühstuck mit obst" (breakfast with fruits) served a very less amount of fruits compared to other places ! The breakfast platter costed 9.80€, the slice of cake costed 4.10€, one cup cappuccino and one cup normal coffee costed 2.90€ and 4.10€ respectively.

Nice cafe in the center of Hannover. You can enter and feel comfortable in very old building which were built in 18xx. I ordered potato soup, fresh salad and cappuccino. Good quality and fair price.

Beautiful little cafe and delicious food!

I recently had breakfast at Café Konrad in Hanover and experienced both highs and lows during my visit. The cafe's ambiance is exceptionally welcoming, offering a cozy environment that's perfect for a morning meal. The staff here are commendable for their friendliness and ability to communicate in multiple languages, making every guest feel at home. However, my visit wasn't without its issues, primarily concerning the facilities. Notably, the lighting in the toilets was non-functional, which, combined with some of the female toilets being out of order, posed an inconvenience. The cleanliness of the toilet area was also a concern, as there was an evident unpleasant odor. This, along with the toilets' proximity to the kitchen, left me with some hygiene and health safety questions. Café Konrad shines when it comes to its breakfast offerings and the overall atmosphere created by its wonderful staff. Yet, the experience could be significantly enhanced by addressing the maintenance and cleanliness of the toilet facilities.

Unfriendly owner and unfriendly waiter waitress. No smile at all. All the waiter and owner seems dont want to talk to me at all as a customer. Even after i pay im the one who says thank you. They just blank stare at you. So awkwardly unfriendly. The cake is made from all cream . The phone signal there is so bad i cant open my app there. They dont provide wifi password for customer even when i check they have wifi. The only think I can praise is the ambience. Wont come back again

The staff was really helpful. They did not have an English menu but the waitress was kind enough to explain the menu to us. The omelettes was really delicious! They have two options for omelettes and both of them was good. Overall, the experience was great. Consider this place for a quick and tasty breakfast.

Cute cafe I found on the way to Zoo. I guess the main point of this cafe is maintaining sustainable and ecological approach. They have nice outdoor terrace. I ordered cappuccino and apple pie. It was nothing special but tasty. They don’t have English menu and only one girl speaks a bit of English but we managed to understand each other. Good thing they accept credit cards.

Been here several times over the past couple months. Consistently perfect latte and great egg dishes. They have accommodated all our special requests, with a smile! Consider making reservations if visiting during busy times or with a group.

This lovely place near the centre of Hannover and on the edge of the city forest Eilenriede has delicious breakfast options for all kinds of eaters (big, small, vegan, etc). It has friendly staff, plenty of space and they serve you quickly. You sit there as you wake up, enjoy your morning coffee while you look at the birds flying from and to the trees. Perfect!

We ordered the breakfast for two. It had a great variety of dips which included hummus, nutella and a blended carrott-based vegan dip. There was a variety of fresh fruit portions: grapes, strawberries and pineapple slices. The cured meat and cheeses were tasty and went well with the dips and brötchen. Went there at 11am on a Saturday morning. The café is quite busy so I would recommend booking a table like we did. The acoustics make it a little noisy for quiet conversation but there is outdoor seating available. The notoriety of being nextdoor to former chancellor Gerhard Schröder's apartment adds a little excitement to breakfast.

For the price you pay you get big portions. Delicious food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Drinks are also well done and loads of food and beverage options to choose from.. , plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians ✨ The vegan burger was amazing! All happy and satisfied!

It was really time/patience consuming for very little return. Meh. Not worthy of a second try.

Order took very long to finish but that's fine. Coffee good as always. Unfortunately the female employee was very unfriendly, placing multiple orders of the same drink on the counter and vaguely announcing what it is, then getting annoyed when the customers didn't just pick them up at random. A small Starbucks located in Hanover Station, you really have to look for it to find it. If you want to wait for your train and drink your coffee, it's going to be hard to find, given the limited space. But I really like Starbucks because of the friendly staff who make my day when I take my coffee to go. I have the luxury of no longer being able to pronounce what I'm ordering, as the waiters and waitresses remember my previous orders.

apparently the barista didn’t know what ,,salted caramel Cold Brew” means. I saw with my eyes the vulgar barista told another new barista,,ich weiß nicht wieso macht keinen Sinn” and gave me a basic cold brew with milk without any caramel or any form of sugar. Let alone the narrow room and noises, for a Starbucks inside train station this store can be the top 1 worse experience on the journey .

It's the weirdest Starbucks I have ever visited. Sometimes it seems to close before official closing time. They let you wait a while before telling you they are closed. Sometimes you go there, the door is open and no one is there at all. You wait a while, say hello, but no one shows up. The service is often slow and unmotivated. The quality is basically as everywhere else. At least you can be sure about that.

Worst branch I tried in Germany, atmosphere is bad, service is bad, coffee taste weird, and they don't have little thing like chocolate or cinnamon powder. I will be definitely not going there anymore.

I must give 5 stars. Im only visiting Hannover and as I was wandering around I found cafe k. I have ordered cake and tea and wanted to pay by card. They accept cash only so I reached into my pocket and get all the cash out. I was short about €1.50.. waitress said it's ok. That's very rare. She also speaks perfect English which is a good bonus. Needless to say...I ll be back tomorrow with rest of the cash and I will order some more food and drink. Thank you for your kindness

Only cash is not convenient at all, they don't have enough personal wich provoques that we have to wait huge amount of time for drinks, the waitress are very nice though. It's very specious which allows you to bring large parties, they are full meals and a large variety of drinks.

Hip part of Hannover and we had great expectations which were sadly not fulfilled. We waited 20 minutes to be served and ordered 2 strawberry milkshakes and 2 cakes. 10 minutes later the waiter returned with an incorrect cake order and 2 milkshakes which were frankly lukewarm. I assume there was a lack of staff because a sign went up stating the cafe would close at 1700. PS, the waiter dropped a glass which shattered and to put it mildly his cleaning up left a lot to be desired. Perhaps we caught the cafe on a bad day- it seemed to be popular with locals- but Cafe K it ain't, Cafe Z more like☹️ PPS the cakes were ok but not outstanding PPPS to be fair I'd give it a second chance when I'm in Hannover next......

The place has cool atmosphere. Nice place to chill with the all day breakfast. However, one thing made me give 2 stars... The hygiene. As you see from the photo, they use the cool plate to serve the food, I thought the brown-yellow stains are just some decoration, but they were not. I wipe the corner with the paper tissue, and the dirty yellow thing is wiped... I am not a very picky person, if this is a plate just for the bread, I do not have problem with it. However, this is the breakfast plate that I use knife and fork, which means I will scratch those things and put in my mouth. It is such a cool and nice cafe to have this basic hygiene issue, therefore I wish they read my review and improve this. I wish they be one of the coolest cafe in Hannover.

This is a cool coffee shop that’s also a co-working space and an event venue. It has a spacious outdoor area and the inside is quite big as well. Their coffee was pretty good but the snack options were very limited.

That is my favorite place. I like breakfast with eggs Benedict and cappuccino with oat milk. Also, sometimes I choose to start my breakfast with Prosecco 🤷🏻‍♀️ Large windows and a modern interior create an inspiring atmosphere. The staff speaks English and can understand my not prefect Deutsch 😅❤️ I’m great to find a place with such great vibe. Thank you 🙏🏻🌸

The coffee is average, and the breakfast was sadly over at 11am on a work day (I came at 11:05, and no chance). I read about eggs and other yummies, but maybe that’s for weekends, as on Tuesday there was only bread/sandwiches on offer.

I tried 3 times Menagerie, the place is often really crowded and through that I have to test it to understand why. Sadly I have been a bit disappointed, my German is not perfect but I had 2 times among 3 an error in my order (cow milk instead of vegetal milk and wrong drink) and had this problem nowhere else. The drinks and cake are correct, nothing special, but the overall experience made me not fully satisfied the 3 times and would advise to make your own opinion since this seams still famous :) I might try again in few months to check if I had 3 bad luck experience or if it's confirmed a forth time.

A small cafe in linden with vast options of cheese cakes. The quality of cakes is awesome. You can also choose from different variety of coffees. Staff is sweet and humble. Only cash payment is accepted, cards payment is not an option, better go with lots cash in pocket as you don’t know how many cheesecakes you would love to eat there ☺️

Yesterday we wanted to have a drink. Although there were some employees cleaning tables, they couldnt take our order as 'we had to ask my colleague ' . It looked there was only one guy taking orders, and we had to wave like we were waving to the king to get his attention. It took about 20 minutes. When the drinks were done, we wanted to pay. Paying was also not possible with the employees nearby, we had to wait for the same guy again, whose first intrest was surely not serving customers. After 10 minutes waiting we had to walk up to him to get his attention in order to pay.

Nice Restaurant next to the city center, tasty fresh food, friendly waiters, speaks English as well. We ordered Mexican Burger with fries and drinks and was really delicious. Reasonable price. Overall, we'll taste again :)

Casual place with eclectic, albeit basic menu. Food quality lower average. As well as the service. Moderately expensive as for street food. Still, you can go here for casual atmosphere and for big choice of snacks: hamburgers, wurst (sausages), french fries with tasty dippings, cocktails, teas, desserts. Two stars for files and loud, annoying noise from the kitchen (permanently cleaning all their ashtrays right behind the bar)

I tried the pizza fajita and Käse kuchen. Both are quite good. The meat in pizza fajita is a bit little though considering that the price is not cheap (around 13 euro? May 2025).

5 stars aren't enough to rate this place! Was there for the breakfast buffet and no words can describe how amazing the place was! There is food serving every taste and preference, from cheese to meat to fish platters, jams and salads of all kinds, a variety of bread and pastry types, pizzas and of course sweets. And not to forget orange juice. Would definitely come again.

I visit this café often because the coffee is simply the best! I’m updating my review from a year ago—I had given it 5 stars back then. This time, I can only give one star, and that’s purely for the coffee. The reason? The situation with dogs in the shop has gotten out of hand. One time, I saw a woman with her dog sitting right on the seat, and no one said anything. Last week, we went back to enjoy our coffee and some cake, but right next to us, there was a customer with two dogs. They kept getting up and shaking themselves, and at one point, a hair from one of the dogs ended up in one of our coffees. I love dogs—I’ve had two myself—but it’s not right to try to enjoy my drink and food with dogs shaking next to me. It shows a lack of respect for customers who want a clean and comfortable environment. Also, I’ve noticed that tables are not always cleaned properly when a customer leaves. The staff often just takes the mugs without wiping down the tables. I think it would be much more hygienic and pleasant if tables were cleaned more thoroughly after each use.

Coffee is absolutely fantastic here, and I'm a big fan of their cookies and cakes as well. They have seasonal menu options, which in the summer means iced coffee options. In colder months they don't offer iced coffee or cold brew, which is a shame. (maybe they will in the future? pls pls pls) Just don't order the matcha latte, it is downright the worst matcha I've ever had. I asked how they make it. They use a matcha syrup, rather than powder. But other than that, highly highly recommend this cafe! The vibes are chill and the coffee is fabulous.

This place is something in between a proper speciality coffee shop and an old school cafe that does every other coffee drink with tons of milk in it. Not sure what to think of it. It’s popular, for sure. People come here to chill, talk and sit for hours, but sadly, not many of the visitors seem to be genuinely interested about coffee and its origin. I feel that the staff neither (or at least some of the staff). I have to emphasize the large selection of beans, and one friendly barista who was really willing to give a discourse into the topic. My hand brew was decent. The place gets very crowded, even on a work day (especially given what I mentioned: people love sitting here for hours), so maybe be ready to share your table.

The service was very good. The Cappuccino was perfectly done. We had such delicious Mango Cheesecake and Caramel Cheesecake. Plenty of seating places. I will definitely go back soon

I think this Cafe is perfect for hand brewed coffee lovers with different methods and beans. Also the cakes are delicious. Just near the Ubahn station, very easy to find..

This place as a specialty cafe would instantly go to top 3 or top 5 in any big European city. Coffe roast level is very nicely on the brighter side, the green coffee kots are well selected. Loring roaster in the house if I'm not mistaken. All in all cool place I wish many more places like this in the world.

I wasn't in the Cafe itself, but in their bar across the street. Safran's Bar. It's a nice place with friendly service. They also have cocktails to go and happy hour from 5pm to around 7pm.

Sat outside in the warm weather and enjoyed a lovely vegan meal. Service was quick and friendly and welcoming. The menu catered for all different dietary requirements and the vegan section was very good. This is a well established and known restaurant and is always worth a visit.

We used to go often to Lulu before discovering a nicer option closer to our flat. Said that Lulu is basic but good. Drinks are executed very well and food is basic but of good quality. I read of rude stuff experiences from other reviewrs but me and my girlfriend have always had good experiences with staff.

If you are a foreigner you are not welcome! Worse experience in Hannover so far. A colleague recommended this place so I went there to enjoy a nice lunch on a sunny day Asked if they had a English menu and the lady said no and instantly left, I called her asking if she could be so kind to help me find something for lunch since I didn't understand their menu and she told me : I don't have time. Wouldn't go back. Too expensive for what it is, two small cookies and a Turkish coffee (the coffee machine was broken apparently) for 7.5 euros. Then, when I wanted to pay I couldn't because they guy was outside talking on the phone. Once he came back he said that the limit to pay with card was 10 euros. 10 euros?? That is the first time I hear something like that. Was not enjoyable at all.

The waffle is very soft and yummy. The toppings are ok-ish, even though i ordered the Snickers special, it only has like 3 little pieces of that chocolate. The orange juice (Oh Jay!) that I paid €5,50 for it in the end was only an orange syrup/drink in a glass, not a fresh squeezed orange.

We often come here - a brief coffee with a friend or a long lunch date or just by myself with a book for a good cooffee/tea or other hot or cold beverage. Lovely atmosphere, service is on the bat and uncomplicated - alternative milk options and decaf coffee options too! Their cakes are also always fabulous! They also have Recups for Togo which is lovely and environmentally super!

The cafe has a good breakfast. A little bit on the higher price range for breakfast but atleast you get very fresh produce. The homade Ice tea was also quit good. Would have preferred a little more variaty of breakfast dishes. And the servicewas rather slow outside, would recommend to sit inside.

I came to lieb.es some days ago for have a little breakfast with one friend. The place was really nice and confortable, but we needed to wait 50 minutes for have just one coffee and a little bread that arrived cold, only when we were about to finish eating the waiter arrives with the spices, and the bar had more or less 3 tables to serve. I tryed to explain the problem to the waiter but he just ignored my comment. The most of the time the bars can look nice, but the rest can be really unprofessional!

The cappuccino we got was a disaster. It tasted like burnt plastic and wood. I have tried so many coffees but something like that - never. That’s the reason and why I’m giving the 1 star. And because of the price. 3.90 for a cappuccino like that is just a robbery. At least the staff was polite and fast. The tart with raspberries was really good! In general the prices are way too high for the quality you get.

Nice cafe in the middle of the city, right in front of opera (back side). Just passing by I decided to make a short stop here. The interior of the cafe is beautiful and relaxing. Good music. There were enough people here that time, mining that this place is beloved of them. Croissant 🥐 with butter and jam were it time and very good. The prices are a little bit higher as usually.

The worst cappuccino ever. I go there multiple times per week because of the location, and sometimes I order a cappuccino in the hope that it will be better. The employees are friendly but have zero training on how to make coffee, and the hot coffees are always a disaster. They always boil the coffee, and they can never make a coffee at the right temperature. You always have to wait 15 minutes before you can drink your first sip.

Super friendly girls at the counter!! It’s a bit on the pricey side, but they have tons of cake options and all of them looked really interesting. I had the chocolate cake and it was awesome! They also sell Nicezeit ice cream and matcha — nice little bonus.

When we came in the staff didn’t greet us or said anything, only that we can take a seat and wait till someone comes. We had to wait for around 15 minutes to order and afterwards another 10-15 until 2 coffees and 1 cake came. It wasn’t even that full… anyways the cappuccino and the carrot cake were delicious and that’s why I would give them a second chance. You cannot use your laptop in there and you can spend only 2 hours because that’s their top limit for spending time in the café.
