I’m not vegan but I would love to be someday. I find the food really healthy and delicious. I ordered the all green salad and carrot cake. The salad was very filling and my body felt love because I was able to feed it different kinds of veggies in one bowl. It was flavorful and I loved the variety of veggies. I love carrot cake but I wasn’t a big fan of their carrot cake. It was crumbly, and not that moist, but still acceptable texture including the frosting. I tried to finish it because it was pricey but I gave up. For a vegan cake, it’s not bad but I like my carrot cake moist and with cream cheese frosting. I will definitely come back and try their other menu items.

As a vegan, I always want to hype up vegan places, but there really was nothing special about this place. The food was truly mid. The potato wedges were a bit dry and hard, the burger tasted generic, the carrot cake was dry, the ice cream like something from the grocery store. It wasn’t bad, and it’s always nice to be able to find vegan food somewhere, but I can’t recommend it.

I got the taco salad and it was sooo good and refreshing, exactly what I needed during a hot day in the city. I am not vegan but it was still delicious and would recommend. There was WiFi too

I enjoyed my green salad very much. The balance of all the green veggies, with the smallest pop of a red lettuce in it was excellent. The dressing was a outstanding pesto, which I almost wished for more of, however I was so glad to be able to taste and appreciate each of my vegetables individually, again harmony. The tiramisu was vegan and gf, as were all the desserts. This dessert was great as a df gf customer. What we would have liked more of, a few more gluten free options on the savory menu. The green salad was the solitary option. No soup or warm food was gluten free on the entire menu. Many vegan people would like this choice. I am celiac, and found your restaurant on Atly, a gluten free restaurant App. It would only enhance the menu to have 1 soup and 1 warm meal. This would raise the stars to 5 stars!🌟

Built my own slad, it came with some soup. Everything tasted fresh and crisp. I feel my fiber levels rising steadily after many days of eating rice and noodles.. It's on the expensive side, though.

My friend and I ordered salads here and we're very disappointed to receive bowls that were basically half full. I had even ordered extra broccoli and can't imagine how much more empty what I received would have been had I not added the extra. Not sure what happened. Maybe we got less because we were tourists? Or new staff who don't know what they are doing? All to say don't come here. My salad plus drink came to 1800 yen, my friend's salad and drink came up to 2200 yen - and it was not enough food for the price.

It was okay. The salad was delicious and the portion was big, but the ordering system (and payment) was too complicated. For some reason, you had to enter your phone number and you could only pay by card. As there were just three ordering points, there was a queue so the ordering system took way longer than it could have. The staff was nice and polite, though. The worst overpriced salad you can get. First of all this place makes a good impression. Than you get in and its just a cold cold atmosphere. Than after you registered with your phone number (for no reason) you get to order. During my wait i watched them cut their salad and tomatoes. Absolutely horrible skills of the staff. I understand its mostly parttime workers but you can give them some training and support. Than the salad itself. I already saw it coming but it was even worse. Total mess!! The way how they have cut the vegetables is just ugly and makes it unenjoyable. Even the salad was smashed and dark at the edges. Fresh cut salad doesn’t look that way. The dressing itself was okay but too sour.

My favorite chopped salad restaurant near Shinjuku station. It’s located at not so popular place so the store won’t be crowded. Completely cashless. App order is also available.

The salad was OK but the greens weren’t the freshest. The kale was already wilted and the romaine discolored which means it was at least about a week old. I kind of expected more freshness considering the positive reviews. Once the vegetables were dressed, the lack of freshness is well disguised. Not many great salad options in Tokyo, so I might return to try again, but was a bit disappointed on my first visit

A small cup of coffee and a piece of cake will set you back ¥1,000. I can’t read kanji so I didn’t understand that photos are not allowed. Could be a nice little place, but my friend and I didn't enjoy being told to shut up by the manager while having a conversation at a normal volume*. If you, as the manager, want to micromanage the environment that much (there are also rules against taking photos, using laptops for any period of time etc.) I don't understand why you'd get into a customer service business. *You might be thinking, "oh I bet they were just being loud gaijin", but we weren't, honest!

Paid ¥1,200 for my omega 3 salad with smoked salmon. The dressing is too sour and there is no flavor to it whatsoever - will finish it as I don't want my money to go further down to waste. You can request how you'd like to have you salad chopped, asked for small pieces but as you can see in the picture it's still too big... They sell a nice bottled 100% carrot juice which is very tasty and the interior design is nice but that's honestly about it. I'm super disappointed about this place and won't come again / recommend this to people.

We decided to dine here on our last night in Tokyo after a 3 week honeymoon. We reserved for a 6:30pm reservation a week in advance so we could see the skyline from daylight to night. And the view did not disappoint! However, just before leaving our hotel we realised there is a dress code, it's on the website so we should have known, but we didn't have that formal clothes with us so we muddled something together. It's generally smart dress, with Japanese in mainly business wear. We decided to order from the a la carte menu (but there is a set menu too) with a birthday gift budget of $250. We both ordered starters and main courses. My husband had steak which bumped the price up. I had two glasses of wine and my husband had one. However, including service charge we actually ended up spending $300. Overall our food was nicely cooked and everything tasted nice, but we both found it a little too rich. My bigger issue was my glass of Riesling was far too sweet, almost sickly. I expect if I see a Riesling on the menu of an upscale restaurant it will be dry, especially a California Riesling- but maybe my mistake for ordering it. Our only other slightly odd issue is it felt weird having modern European food with a California wine list in Japan.

I’ve had lunch here twice now and the food was amazing! You get a appetizer buffet which was really delicious - there was a variety of food to choose from which was all really tasty. The main course was also really good (had steak). The flavor of all the food was amazing. To top that off they do complimentary message plates if you are celebrating something which was a pleasant surprise for the birthday boy. The cakes and ice cream were also really good! The service was amazing too. And the view is just incredible. I also liked that we moved to the lounge after finishing the main course where we could see more of Tokyo and eat sweets and have some tea. This is definitely worth a try.

Decided to make a reservation here for my birthday and loved the ambience. We were seated with one of the best seats in the house! The buffet style starters as well as dessert course were delicious to say the least. Give the key lime pie a try if you can! For the main course we opted for the chick pea curry and seafood pasta! It can only be 5 stars. This was my third visit to this restaurant (lunch), each time has been amazing. It is upmarket for what I am used to and they really control your movements, maybe due to Covid restrictions or because we are uncultured savages, you have to follow the meal flow strictly and the staff are super attentive. The buffet is the absolute best. Every single thing is fantastic and delightful to the palate, I’d eaten 2 plates full before my main even arrived. I was tempted to grab the bowls of ricotta cheese and bacon and trough them down. Salmon is fantastic as are all of the sauces and dressings available. My main today was the American sirloin with mash and asparagus. It was ok, not the best steak I’ve had but pretty damn good, just the right size as well. In the future I’d get the fish or chicken again. After all that food…. desert time!!!! Back to the buffet for amazing cakes, ice cream, pastries and all goodies! The staff will offer tea or coffee with your desert and it’s good stuff. It’s on the 52nd floor and offers an amazing view of Tokyo. You really feel the special environment of this restaurant. Great for dates, get togethers, celebrations or any damn reason you can think of. Just go. Cost is just over 7000yen per person. That is 1000% worth it for the food, service, location, everything. I’d pay 7000 just for the buffet lol. Use the bathrooms at the top of the first elevator….. super fancy.

An amazing holiday lunch buffet and main on the 52nd floor. Amazing selections and flavors, with carefully selected sauces for each meat preparation. After your meal, move over to the lounge area for coffee and dessert. Be sure to try to ice cream station and the cheese cake with cherry sauce. The Grill is also amazing for dinner and drinks, but will save that for a separate post!

Service was lovely and loved sitting at the bar in the love seats. Googled "best udon near me" and googles recommendation absolutely delivered.

There was a line when we went but it moved fast. What I liked about the place was the ordering process. Ordered on a tablet so we took our time determining what we wanted. Ordered beef udon and shabu udon. Loved the option to customize. We weren’t that hungry so ordered with half the noodles and all the vegetables. After ordering the food came up pretty quickly. Food was great! The smoke salmon was really good and the way they presented it was just so fun.

Big restaurant with perfectly delicious Udon dishes. Located on B1, you need to go down the stairs. Nice Ambiente and prices are very fair. We paid around 40$ for two which is nice. Go there hungry, serving sizes are quite big. Highly recommend this place

Great place to have Udon located in Kabukicho area. Great choices of different kind of Udon, some are original and other more traditional. The Udon are perfectly cooked and the dish are really tasty, not too salty, just as it need. Be careful about the portion you chose, you might have a huge portion. Some side dishes as karaage are available too. The atmosphere is a bit stylish, bit sifted without being kitsch. The staff is friendly. You might have to wait a bit before being sitted.

Beef udon and Zaru udon was okay. Go for the thin udon as they are much more chewy and easier to bite, compared to the regular udon.

Good atmosphere, I liked how their opening times, very good for tourists who arrived late at night. Good munch, we had the Sukiyaki and Beef Udon. Sukiyaki was a tad too sweet for me but the Beef Udon was so so yummy. I prefer the Thick Udon too. Would go again if I had the chance.

There's a moldy smell, probably because of being underground, but otherwise as good as every other Tsurutontan.

Tucked away behind an unassuming door is this vegan restaurant serving an assortment of world and Japanese cuisine. The ambiance is very chic and inviting. They didn't have much in terms of alcohol, but I did enjoy the matcha beer. Noodles are made of rice and were very flavorful, and not spicy. My cutlets were crunchy and delightful. This is not a spot to experience Japanese food and a vegan, but more of a respite from the pork and bonito flake laden world out there!

My wife and I ate so much here. They have multiple menus with so much to choose from. It’s always very overwhelming (in the best way) when you’re Vegan and can eat anything on the menu. We got the matcha beer and lemon beers. They were good! The lemons were grown locally in Hiroshima. We were debating getting one of the courses but decided to make our own. We got the vegetable tortilla rolls, cold tofu noodles in creamy mala sesame sauce, teriyaki deep-fried soy chicken on rice, and the heavenly pancakes! It was all great! Honestly, the heavenly pancakes are not lying. They really stole the show. We need to figure out how to make these at home now. They were so fluffy and perfect. All of the other dishes were phenomenal too. It’s the type of place with LOTS of options and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Get what you’re feeling! Share! Try a lot! We had such a great time.

Best gluten free & veg. meal I ate in Tokyo! Seriously delicious. I ate the parfait salad (best nutritarian option because it comes with the dressing on the side). Then I indulged in their Heavenly Pancake, which did not disappoint! The restaurant is located at street level, midway between the two street corners (halfway down the block from either corner). I HIGHLY recommend this spot — check my other Tokyo eating posts by clicking on my reviews — this place is the BEST for healthy gluten free options!

Small and cozy restaurant with several tables for larger groups. Vegan food was very accessible and fresh - not overly complicated. Food served with style and fair. We had the pancake meal with soup and salad. Very good!

This was phenomenal. We had been in the Isetan dept store in Shinjuku, salivating at the offerings in the food hall and lamenting there was nowhere to sit and eat. So we came here and had one of the treats of the trip. It’s in a cute venue with old timber floor boards and we first went down and up stairs to be seated. The food is vegan and was just great. We shared a deep fried soy ‘Chicken’ main with salad and a pancake desert with non- dairy ice cream. We aren’t vegan but venues like this will help the cause. Amazing.

Disappointing, wayyyyyy overpriced, simply bad. We ordered two dishes and two drinks altogether. First came the tortilla rolls. They came after a while, and they were COLD FROM THE FRIDGE with plastic wrap(??). If they didn’t even bother to warm it up, why the long wait? Maybe that sad serving would have been forgiven if the taste was spectacular, but it tasted like it was bought from a supermarket. The ingredients inside weren’t something special or rare so don’t let them fool you. Mind you, MOST OF IT WAS LETTUCE, and we paid 2100(!) yen for that. Of course, it wasn’t even filling in any way. So to sum it, we could have bought it from the supermarket fridge at maybe 500 yen and save our time and money. Probably 15 minutes AFTER we got the sad tortilla, the teriyaki chicken on rice came. I want to talk about how inconsiderate it is to bring the second dish after that time period. We had to share the tortilla so it wouldn’t be that embarrassing to wait to eat together. Anyway, I couldn’t finish the dish. From here, it’s subjective- I think the flavors and the textures, plus the way they serve the whole dish in a bowl (in the menu, it looks like a plate), were bad choices all along. At first bite, the chicken with the mayo (not with the avocado, which had zero salt or seasoning) was ok. But then the flavors became too weird in my mouth, especially with the strong brown rice flavor. It just didn’t work. The drinks we ordered were, at most, ok. But the glass sizes were RIDICULOUS for the price and what the actual drinks were. I wish I could support this place, but the way they view customers is like laughing at your face in my opinion. I think the raving reviews from others is because vegan people are so used to pay double in restaurants for food that is just mediocre at best.

Some of the best food I’ve had! From start to finish, the Farm Course was exceptional. The vegetables were SO fresh, delicious, and cooked to absolute perfection. A big bonus for being gluten free friendly! Would highly recommend!

The vegetables are sourced locally from Chiba and is made fresh! We love the presentation, vibe, and friendliness of the staff. They speak great English and are super friendly striking conversation in between meals given throughout the set course. Highly recommend giving this place a try!!

First time at this restaurant and it was a pleasant surprise! We had their course meal where everything was harvested that morning from a local farm. There were many English speaking staff who were all welcoming. Food was top tier. Would recommend it for anyone who needs a break from their usual tokyo tourist food checklist ☺️

Visited the restaurant with so much expectations, but it turned out to be the opposite. It took 45 mins to get an appetizer and a salad. Then I had to waited for another 1 hr to get the vegetable platter. Some veggies were not evenly grilled, and I even tasted soil from one of the veggies. My main was vegetable gratin, which was an extension of grilled veggies with cheese on top. Had a bitter melon salad and fried bitter melon again on the platter. I don’t understand about all the good reviews. I guess everyone has a different standard. Waiting for over 2 hrs to get the main dish, the vegetable gratin, is unacceptable for me. We had a plan for the 2nd round but had to cancel it as we wasted so much time there.

After 5 weeks in Japan with lots of great restaurants, this was one of the best meals of the whole trip. Fantastic produce and fantastic meat, cooked to perfection. Very simple and very delicious. Arigatou!

I was welcomed in by friendly staff who explained the unique way in which this superb restaurant operates. The food was delicious, timely served and as a vegan it was a great treat! I'd recommend to anyone, vegan, vegetarian or meat eater!

This branch is busier than others in Tokyo, but the quality remains excellent. We visited on a weekend evening, and although it was crowded, there were still seats available both inside and outside. Ordering is simple via the tablet at the entrance, and you can choose your seat afterward, making it very convenient. The burger portions were just right—not too big or small—and we absolutely loved the fries, which were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The hojicha shake was a bit sweet for our taste, but overall, it was a great experience. Next time, I’d love to try their beer and other burgers. I recommend this branch for its spacious seating and enjoyable atmosphere.

Being a vegetarian we were in the hunt to find vegetarian burger to try. Since shake shack is just below our hotel we decided to try it out since they had the portobello burger and to our surprise it was really good! Burger size is good, portobello is well fried with cheese in a breaded crust. Ordering is easy as well, and it has different languages to choose from.

Always a fan of Shake Shack. The Shinjuku location is really nice. Located on the south side of Shinjuku station, while busy, it has plenty of seating outside. Great atmosphere, self-service is pretty quick, but we had to wait a while for our because it was that busy. Food quality is what you'd expect, consistently great smash burgers. A little pricey but as a treat Evey now and then, worth it!

Happiness in a bun! The burger was delicious and the fries were hot. You can get as much ketchup and mustard as you like. Shake Shack has become a must-stop for me every time I visit Japan. There’s just something extra special about enjoying their classic American burgers and crinkle-cut fries in a new city. The quality is always on point — juicy patties, soft buns, and that addictive ShackSauce. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a late-night bite, it never disappoints. It’s a little taste of home with a Tokyo twist!

They current have a curry cheese sauce for the fries (Japanese style curry), 1000000/10. It was so good. They also have a cucumber mint lemonade that was delicious . Burger was great. Def a must when in Tokyo due to the exclusive items on the menu

Went here for dinner on a weekday with a reservation. We've been wanting to try this vegan restaurant. The place had a warm & cozy ambiance. Nice staffs too. I ordered the Chili Cheese Burger with Fries & Heartland Beer. It was really good. It went well with their hot sauce too. We also ordered their Heavenly Pancakes. Wow! It was unique & delicious. It was crispy on the outside & moist on the inside. I really loved it. Would definitely be back for it. Enjoyed our meal here.

I was hesitant to try this place as it’s on the pricier side… when we arrived I didn’t feel welcomed like any other Japanese restaurant that I have been to. But the food was so worth it! Amazing! The pancakes were delicious! The karaage was the best one I had in the entire trip… I hope to go back there just so I can eat this dish! The Tartar sauce was so good… and last, if you are a tourist that have no idea when you will go back again, buy as many cookies as possible! They are amazing!

As a plant based American, I have to say the Japanese treat vegan food as a delicacy. We had the miso tofu cold noodles and the katsu plate and they were both perfect. Absolutely delicious and a must to visit when in Ikebukuro. PS - get the lemon beer!

We went here for lunch on a weekday. We queued for about 15 to 20 minutes. They have an extensive menu. There's a bar area with counterseats & several tables inside. The place was busy during our visit so expect the food to take a while before its served. The staffs here were nice. We ordered the Spicy Chimichurri Chicken for sharing. It was really tasty. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Jambalaya. It was a unique jambalaya with several toppings. It tasted great as well. The Iced Latte was okay. Enjoyed our meal here. Would love to try their dessert menu next time.

This is not the place to go for hungry people who want to enjoy a decent conversation. Food is not worth its price. Service. I find it rude for them to tell us it was our last order at 8pm and make us pay the bill in the middle of our conversation and while we were still eating our pizza forcing us to leave. Take note that the restaurant's closing time is at 11:00pm. We have reserved a table and there was no indicated time limit nor were we informed of any time limit when seated. Atmosphere is decent.

The chef and bartender both get the higest review. The food and drinks are amazing. Where they went wrong is the hostess, Marie. She couldn't have been more angry at the world, her attitude is less than desirable and out of spite she got the drinks wrong. She was mad she had to help extra tonight as they were clearly short staffed (it happens to every company...so the right thing to do is to roll up your sleeves and help the team) she was too flipping good for the job. I wish I had better things to say but this is what it is. Good news is there's other restaurants right next to it so you can easily change. Don't be like me lol

While we had a little trouble getting seated with a small child, the food was great. Had raw oysters and lobster deviled eggs for apps. Oysters were so good we went in for another round after the meal. The lamb skewers were pretty good but the star was the tzatziki sauce which was amazing. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and one of the best ive had. We got lucky with good weather and they had the whole outer window slid open so we could enjou the afternoon breeze.

Had dinner for two. Came without a reservation and was seated at a very tiny table. Staff was really nice and accommodating when we asked for a better table. Ordered 6 dishes and 6 drinks. Service was great. They were very attentive. Enjoyed the food and drinks. The nachos I guess were like potato chip nachos? They didn’t taste like tortilla chips but they were good. The pizza was also okay, it would have been very delicious if the sides weren’t burnt. That kinda made 2 pizza slices bitter. As for the kitchen, we saw one staff having what seems to be a very fun conversation with his co-worker with his mask down. It must have been very hot in the kitchen and it must have been enjoyable talking with a coworker… We don’t really mind but thought should mention, given the times.

Excellent food and amazing atmosphere. Not so expensive for what you can get. It is well worth the experience and price. It is spacious and great for entertaining guests, friends and family. They have a great wine list and everything it is kept simple because every wine is priced the same at 2,750 yen. They have delicious oysters and the taste is so refreshing, you should get at least one. Lamb is delicious, pork is very good. All the meat is cooked in the Josper grill adding a delicate smoky flavor and tenderness to the meat. You can ask for a delicious birthday plate if you have a birthday party for about 1500 yen. Really excellent restaurant please visit!

there was a queue so i was curious about this place and decided to join it! i ordered the medium size, look at the amount of noodles! it was crazy. would recommend getting the small/ regular size to avoid food waste. the thick udon was very yummy and chewy, and it went very well with the rich soup!

I ordered a shoyu ramen (although this restaurant seems to specialize in tsukumen). Plentiful noodles were thick and straight, menma, green onions, and a slice of round chashu. I added complimentary chopped white onions. I enjoyed the open kitchen atmosphere. The meal was very filling and tasty. Thank you!

Great food and great prices. Ate there like 5 times during my 25 day stay in Japan. I miss it. Perfect hours if you stay out late. I'm going back to Japan in December and will definitely be coming back here. Had the Spicy Soy everytime.

Very affordable. Probably the cheapest ramen with quality in the city Helpful Staff. One of the staff didn’t understand what I said and two more staff came out from the kitchen to help, thats so sweet! The ramen is just average and basic but with such affordable price, it is completely acceptable.

Came here nearly 12-13 years ago and been coming here each time I visit Tokyo. At least 5 times already and it’s always something I look forward to!!

Noodles itself was really nice with “koshi” and the soup had the right flavor to it. But the two did not go well together as much as anticipated.

Tsukemen Restarant that can be easy to get in, Please visit, if you want to eat Tsukemen, there could be better Tsukemen restarant but almost same.

Came here on a sunny Saturday afternoon early may at 1245 and was able to get a seat upstairs in the lukes lobster side. Ordered the cheese burger 1300 yen, wagyu katsu burger 3300 yen and the route burger at 1700 yen. All were quite decent, we all had high evaluation on the burger taste. The wait for the burger was around 20 mins which is a while - but worth it. Definitely worth trying.

It's very crowded with tourists, and I don't recommend it for tourist. What a shame—everything is overpriced. Save your money; this is my first and last time here. Don't order the mango drink; it costs 900 yen and tastes more like artifical juice with added pineapple—there's no real mango flavor for this prices. Mangoes are overpriced in Japan. Japan seems reluctant to import a variety of fruits, even with nearby countries like Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore, likely because they fear that no one will buy them from their chain stores.

This place is dirty. Hands down maybe the worst upkeep I’ve ever seen, we visited 09:00 (they opened at 07:30) and this was the buildup. I refuse to accept that this was from 1 and a half hours of work. The water faucet from the cooler is actually molding, I don’t think it has ever been cleaned. The burger was fine, it’s to be expected that they serve you extremely white bread with no chewy-ness but I’m surprised that they don’t give you the option for something more filling.

I went there on a Monday morning at 11 AM. It was already crowded, so I waited 40 minutes with my friend. I have to say, it might have been the best burger I have ever had. I am biased because I love eggs, the eggs were cooked perfectly. I got the limited edition salmon burger. IT WAS SO GOOD. I want to go back there again. The wait was worth it. There's also a bakery next to it that sold bread. I didn't try it, but it was nice to look at while waiting. The service was quick in my opinion for a crowded service.

I really enjoyed the food at Eggslut! Their burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor. I also tried the hash browns, which were crispy and delicious. The staff were friendly and quick to fix a missed meal. Great spot for lunch or dinner!

I’ve always heard how good egg slut was and this lived up to the hype! This was the perfect breakfast sandwich. It was crispy, soft, and flavorful in the all the right ways and satisfied my every need that morning. Besides that, the wait time for the food was a quite long, but they were so busy and trying their best to keep up with the high volume of customers. Typical cafe atmosphere, some seating is available upstairs and downstairs. If sitting outside be prepared for pigeons flying and walking around.

We stopped here for the lunch. The egg sandwich and the burgers are amazing. I love the no bread option with salad instead. This was our first visit to Eggslut and we hope to visit more locations back in America.

Very local drinking place. Standing sake bar with delicious snacks to go with. Frankly speaking I have no idea how they earn money. Each sake is such a big cup (1/4 of a bottle) and it ranges from 300-1200¥! Note that it closes at 8.30pm so you may want to eat early dinner and drink there. I drank before dinner so it got me too drunk..

Local sake store with mostly local people and some tourists. You can enjoy the sake tasting there or even buy some bottles away. Some famous brands are also offered here (e.g. 信州亀齢), but unfortunately it was sold out on the day I visited. Will definitely come again if I pass by Ginza again next time!

This used to be one of my favorite places to drink. Wonderful retro atmosphere and dirt cheap drinks. But I took some friends here and the vibe was all wrong. Despite being a paid customer, I got yelled at by two of the staff for not drinking in the proper location. Something is different, and while I have a feeling what it is, I’ll just say… this place is no longer the fun spot it used to be.

Nice little standup bar with a good selection of craft beer and sake. They also have a snack menu with some tasy and unusual items on it. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speak some english. I can really recommend a stop here if you’re in to craft beer and/or sake.

Absolutely loved this place. Has super cheap craft beers in bottles/ cans you can drink (around 350 ~ 400 yen) and two drafts on tap for 550 - 660 yen. Also this place has a tonne of recent saki you can try. Food (snacks) were super cheap from 120 to 360 yen. Only standing drink but absolutely a place to have a few before dinner or a quick one before going home after work.

Cosy atmosphere, hundreds of tantalising choice and among others genuinely tasty sake and traditional light food produced in Nagano, all of which are really amazing. The system is tantamount to that of English pubs; easy and transparent, barring the language.

Very cool space. Heaved on Friday for knock off drinks. Value was outstanding. Loads of sake to try, unfiltered sake anyone? Good beers as well. So much fun.

Subway in Japan. Funny enough one if the best sandwich shops Japan has to offer 🥴 Got the limited time tandoori chicken. Very good with low calories and good protein chunk for price

This is the worst one among the three Subways in Shinjuku that I often go to. It always smells awful and looks not as clean as the other two. But what’s worst is that when I ordered salad chicken sandwich earlier tonight, one of the staff just put a piece of chicken with a extremely obvious PURPLE SPOT THAT I CANT TELL WHAT IT IS on the sandwich like It’s perfectly normal to serve a customer with something looking so suspicious??? And the other one staff didn’t even throw away that piece of chicken until I told him to??? It baffles me, truly. Yes the purple spot may be safe to eat but did they just want me to take the risk of possible food poisoning or diarrhea?? I’m worried about the food safety here. The unbelievably service attitude too. BTW the other two Subways are the one in the Opera City Building and the one in the Nomura Building. The latter is smaller than this one but way more clean and comfortable. And it’s not far from here, just a 10min walk.

I love the location of this subway! Super convenient for anyone passing through Shinjuku station. The sandwiches are fresh and yummy and the staff are very kind and helpful. I go there so often they know my order by heart at this point 😅 I’ve also seen them assist customers in English several times which is very considerate of them 🥺

A nice place to have lunch. It’s close to the station and has a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. There is also a salad option for those that want to avoid gluten and other bread products. It is slightly more than I want to spend on lunch, but it is fresh and delicious, so I come here several times a week.

Typical subway. Food was good, but they messed up my order at first. I spoke Japanese but maybe my accent is weird and they started making a sandwich I didn’t want? A little bit of a miscommunication? Also he toasted my sandwich without asking, which I didn’t want it toasted lol. But they did remake it when I told them so, no problem after

Hidden away on the second floor is this calm, chilled place serving healthy salad. Female friendly. The staff was so kind. The counter seat looking over the street was quite nice 🙂

The seasonal kaki persimmon salad was freshly made, well-composed and made for a welcome lunch break. Friendly service, the second floor restaurant is small but has some counter seating overlooking the street. English menu available, choices based on greens with chicken salad plus specialized toppings, option to customize salad if vegetarian.

Nice enough space with a good range of salad and helpful staff. It isn't the best value for money though. My large salad cost about 1300 and it wasn't that large but I guess there isn't much competition in the area for salad bars so they can charge higher prices.

An excellent salad place in Tokyo. Probably one of the best. There are a few vegetarian options too and you can get a custom salad. Takeout available, counter & table seats but note it’s on the second floor.

Despite the steep stairs there’s a nice selection of salads and dressings. Simple but delicious and decent portions. I had the vegetarian fiber salad. A small salad + soup was plenty for me. Friendly, English speaking staff (an English menu is available). Free WiFi. And it’s fun to people watch Kagurazaka dori from the 2F window. Ambient jazz music was also pleasant.

So tasty and large volume, just a salad here can be a good meal.

I’ve been to those places in the summer to get ice cream b4 but first time stopping by for lunch. The result is, fantastic. I had sesame soy noodle and I’m in love with it. I can have those everyday if I could. Flavor is great, not too heavy on curb or oil yet still fulfilling. Great service nice ambient. I would totally go back again and highly recommended.

Stopped in here and it was so tasty. I was looking for some vegan food or something hearty and this delivered. I got the beet curry and it was so flavorful and filling, yet felt so healthy and tasty. Also tried out the winter seasonal juice (apple and strawberry), which was so good.

The seasonal dessert, carrot cake, was very tasty. I loved both the flavor and texture. However, the price is quite high for the size of the slice, likely due to the location. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the floor felt sticky as I walked, which suggests it could be cleaned better. Another thing I didn’t like was being given an English menu that didn’t include the seasonal offerings.

Incredibly lovely meal. New Salad Recipe that’s fitting to a great mall with the imperial palace nearby. I had this Salad, Great filling portion. Along with this cold ratatouille.

A great place for vegetarian food. The staff was courteous and could communicate in English and they have English menu. The food came fast and they provide a guide to go with the seasonal menu. Also, there is a good view of the downstairs Christmas decorations if you get a window table.

Impressive and delicious dishes! This place would open a door for those who are bored of the “typical vegetarian dishes in Tokyo” as, sadly, there isn’t a great variety of vegetarian options out there yet.
