One of my favourite food spots in Riga! This time we tried grilled octopus, sweet potato fries, and falafel. Everything was tasty, but those fries were next level – crispy, sweet, just perfect! Super happy we got a table outside too as the weather was amazing. Definitely a must if you’re around!

had dinner here with a few coworkers while staying nearby at the AC Hotel Riga. it’s just a short and convenient walk from the hotel. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we opted to sit outside, which was a great choice on a nice evening. I ordered the lamb kebab and really enjoyed it, it was flavorful, tender, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the table was happy with their meals, and the entire dining experience was very enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which added to the positive vibe of the evening. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed dinner with colleagues. I’d definitely come back again!

Party of 4. All dishes we ordered were very good and very well prepared. Starters were great and main courses were excellent quality and generous size. The young waiter ( with short hair ) looking after us was very good. The restaurant was busy however with only two waiters serving he was able to look after us very well. Cocktails were very well made and both local draught beers were excellent. The restaurant is simple but welcoming.

Very Nice Place with oriental dishes. In the heart of the art nouveau district of riga. You can sit outside and enjoy the great view. The dishes were tasty, innovative and good. We also had nice Cocktails as a start

Incredible spot. The food was amazing. Ordered the falafel pita, sweet potato fries (perhaps best I have had in a long time) and a sauce. 10/10 would come again. A young woman was my server, attentive, helpful and friendly.

Best falafel in town. We absolutely loved hummus, falafel, chicken shawarma & knafe. If you are craving mediterranean food then this is the place to go. Our server Chris was very attentive and food came relatively quickly.

Space Falafel was a highlight, offering some of the best casual food of the trip. Stacey, who looked after us, gave outstanding service — friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of the food being served. I liked this Israeli Resturant so much that I went there TWICE for breakfast during my stay at the nearby AC Marriott Riga hotel. The falafel was crisp on the outside and soft inside, the halloumi was grilled perfectly with that great Sudanese red sauce, and the hummus was smooth with real flavour. Same goes for Babaganouj, The cheesecake at the end showed the same standard, rounding out the meal on a high note. The portions were generous, and everything was served quickly without losing quality. The atmosphere was casual but welcoming, making it easy to enjoy the food without distraction. It is the type of place that shows how simple dishes can be elevated when done with care.

The food is great, I would say the best Kebab in Riga, the restaurant is clean and staff are friendly and nice. The price is cheap for that food quality but the only thing is about the aeration is not that good , so after a meal you smell spicy 😃 like a kebab plate 😅 But I would recommend for friends and people to visit

Unfortunately a bad experience at Ausmena Kebabs. First of all the prices are absolutely ridiculous high... 8€ for Kebab and 6,40 for a "Medium" Dürüm is crazy. The medium sized Dürüm is super super small. The taste was okay but nothing special. Unfortunately also the staff who was responsible for us was very rude to us. I think her name was Beatrice. That was not acceptable... Cant recommend this store. Go to Foodbox that's the Best kebab in Riga.

I had lot's of kebab plates in my life, im from Budapest, there are kebab & gyros shops everywhere. When I travel, I always eat at a local kebab. This was the best plate I ever had. So much thinking went into this, it was a whole new level! Got a small tortilla after this to enjoy some more! Come and open a shop in Budapest please! 😁

well priced delicious kebabs in the center! the pita kebab is huuuge! i have been here a couple times and i highly recommend to all. the staff are very nice too :)

I like it here so much and find the food so delicious that twice I traveled all the way from Vilnius to Riga just to enjoy their kebabs. Although lavash/durum is delicious, I personally like and recommend the one served in round bread. Enjoy!

Pleasant, flavorful, fair-pricing, and clean space. Fast service as well. I took the medium chicken in lavash and was a good portion size with plenty of vegetables, seasonings, and meat.

This place brings back nostalgia every time. Back in school, my classmates and I often came here to eat. It's been several years since we graduated, and now I've found myself back in this wonderful place. I decided to order what I used to get on days when I was really hungry - a kebab in bread with potatoes. The kebab is just as good as ever; all these years haven't made it any worse, and the sauces still have their amazing flavor. The potatoes are crispy and coated in spices. The only thing that's changed since school is that the spicy seasoning on every table doesn't seem as hot anymore. But that's just because we've grown up. The prices are still just as reasonable. They now have a website, so you can place an order in advance while you're on your way to the place. You can also pay by card on the website

Great place to eat Kebab and Falafel in the more quiet part of Riga. The prices are 2€ for botteled sodas and 6-10€ for kebab bowls or kebabs (extra pay for sauces, choice of meat or extra addons). The online order feature is really convenient, the service is quick and the food is very very lovely. Would absolutely recommend!

I ordered takeaway from Foodbox Kebab in Riga today and was extremely disappointed. While the cashier provided fast and friendly service, the food itself was unacceptable. I found a hair in my meal, which is unhygienic and disgusting. Many staff members have long beards, and anyone handling food must maintain strict cleanliness. This is not a joke—food safety should be taken seriously. I expect better hygiene standards from a restaurant. Thank you to the cashier for her good service, but I will not order from here again unless hygiene improves.

Great food, I had a wrap with falafel and mango sauce and it was delicious. There's plenty of space to sit - inside and outside. We had to wait a little for our food, but it was great, although I can't say that I felt full after eating my portion.

Probably the best kebab in town. Quality hasn't dropped from the first time i was there which is almost 10 years ago. Dürüm or on the plate, it doesn't matter. Well balanced and delicious. And very reasonably priced.

Yummy, and they have great seating outside. Just watch for those wasps! We had one trying to steal the meat from the sandwich and wouldn't leave us alone. Order sweet sauces only if you're sitting inside or are prepared to wage a battle =P. Wait time varies but expect up to 20m or so if they're busy.

Very Turkish atmosphere kebab. The place is clean and good! In lunch time very many people (2-3 o'clock). Very big choice of food. I have tried Turku Maize (Turkish Bread). Very big, tasty and great. The bread is just very soft. Much meat. Free Turkish tea. Tasty and tradional glasses. Many tissues! I am interested in coming hete later to try other dishes. Plate, Lavash kebab. Uhhhh, fascinating.

It's nice. Workers try their best. A bit of a wait for grilled items, but worth the wait. If you order grilled food as takeaway from this place its most likely to be all mushed up when you get it because of the boxes, thanks to the carriers too. Otherwise great.

Amazing place, much better dinner than in other Indian restaurants, can sit inside as well. Food isn't the most spiciest, but it's well balanced, a lot of meat

Best kebabs in Rīga, Latvia. My son had been eating here weekly the entire summer of 2019 and invited us once we arrived. We were not disappointed. The price is right, as well.

Food is good, staffs are friendly but there's a staff who spoke and had video call with loud voice when guest (myself) was eating there. I consider it as disrespectful towards the guess.

Chicken kebab did not make happy... only salad + chicken meat :( sorry guys, but now only 1, next time will try and maybe I will change my opinion

I wish I could give everything less than 1 star. We only tried this scam of a place because we moved in nearby but I suggest you stay away. First of all, we paid €17 for two tiny "kebab" boxes (tiny in comparison to literally every other kebab place in Riga). The prices listed outside on the window are wrong, it seems like they charge whatever they feel like that day, even the prices inside are confusing and inaccurate. Now, for the food itself, the pictures attached say it all. The meat is NOT kebab meat, so the meal is inherently a scam - all they do is lightly fry some chopped up, unseasoned pieces of chicken and beef (which tasted like actual dogfood, I had to spit it out. The worst part was the smell - it stank really bad). There are no fries included either (even though the kebab box display outside shows them and fries are definitely expected when ordering something called a "kebab box"), so you pay €8,5 for a tiny box of disgusting, inedible meat, three pieces of lettuce and onion, two slices of tomato and some sauce. I am not a picky eater by any means and can eat almost anything but this was shocking. I've lived in Riga for over 20 years and eat out multiple times a week, and have never felt this robbed and disgusted when it comes to food. We threw everything out without eating more than a bite. Also, we noticed that there was frozen seafood sitting in boxes inside by the door with the sun shining in. It was 30 degrees outside. That's food poisoning waiting to happen. Please do yourself a favor and never order from here - it's disgusting, overpriced and potentially dangerous. I'm 99% convinced that most (if not all) of the 5-star reviews are botted, or left over from a previous restaurant (judging by the images) so don't fall for it. Stay away!

Wow! First time I got catfished (scammed) by a kebab shop!!🫠 PLEASE dont even try it🫣 I dont know how much they pay for the 5 star BOT farms, but they sure got some of their money from me🙃 Firstly I ordered the food by phone since I was in a hurry. 10mins truned into 46min... Then they game me raw meet in the kebab so I asked not one but three times to cook the meat... The lavash was cold too... Oh yeah and the price was 14€ for the kebab. I will never rely only on the stars from now on and will go only after reading at least some of the reviews (speacially the 1 stars). Since I started reading the comments after I ordered and was waitting for almost an hour, I started taking photos because they always replay to the 1 star REAL REVIEWS without photos, that they are talling about some other kebab shop. So NO - I didnt mixed the places up. AND for the love of GOD dont go here for food!!!!!! #TheBotsAreStrongWithThisOne💪💪💪

Can someone explain this guy that outdoor charcoal barbecue in the city center is a big fire hazard and pollution source? The whole neighborhood stinks because of him.

A lot of the reviews seem false. The place has no listed prices on the menu. The kebab itself was 14EUR for just one wrap. They charge what they feel like, just read the other reviews. Kebab was filled up with barbecue sauce and sriracha “very authentic”. Worst kebab I have ever had in any European country. Not only was it awful, but it’s the priciest kebab in Riga. Complete scam.

I don't know who is writing those 5 star reviews. The food is below average and prices are well above. 14 euros for kebab (dry) with a piece of bread and a couple of pickles. I don't recommend P.S. I'm not confusing anything

The food is tasty, especially the kebabs. The only problem is that you’ll need to get a takeaway. The service is great and prices are reasonable.

The food was very delicious and the portions are very big. The customwer service was also lovely.

Vibey food court with lots of options. Located at the top of the shopping centre, offers nice views of the city. Option to sit outside on the balcony. Lots of seating inside. Pizza was great, chewy dough, lots of toppings. Chicken baos were flavourful and the bao was fluffy.

Good place nice view. Fine choice of different metal and kitchen. But still feels a bit cheep. Hard to tell what is it. They try to escape feeling of a food court, and thy succeed 55% :) Worth to come for a lunch.

Absolutely fantastic place! Perfect for groups who all want something different and you cannot choose where to go. Here everyone can choose their own food to their likings and friends can sit together. But... There is a big flaw. There are only 2 toilets for 10+ restaurants and bars. There's always a que behind the toilets.

Atmospheric food court with cool and fresh design at the top floor of shopping center Galerija Centrs. The place has stunning views to rooftops of Old Riga and terrace to be enjoyed on warmer seasons. I especially enjoy it on Saturdays early evenings, it’s vibrant and mostly full. I suggest sitting around bar area, near the terrace, the best vibe is there. Service differs at places, having from terrible to terrific. But for food court the main things are food and atmosphere and these are great. Food variety will suit everyone-burgers, pizzas, tacos, bao buns, pokes, asian noodles, sushi, hinkali, classic “home” food, etc. Plus great bar for cocktails, wine or fresh oysters. My favorite food spots are Vínkalni pizza and Hachapuri bistro.

Very nice modern food court with very pleasant atmosphere, smart working areas and rooftop. I enjoyed my iced coffee with a beautiful view of old town. You can find so many different foods and drinks here. Very cool spot!

First of all - they do not have a toilet! Idk how it is possible - but there it is. Pretty uncomfortable especially taking in account that some of the dishes you have to eat with your bare hands. Food itself was great! Really delicious and worth every cent 😍 There are not many sitting places inside, so make a reservation.

Outstanding Hačapuri, delicious and with a really good size. Nice service from the waitress and the terrace is chill. The dessert was great too.

That’s for sure one of the best Georgian places I’ve ever been to 🤤 the lady, who also runs this place, cooks absolutely delicious food - it’s the most authentic Georgian food I ate in Europe so far. I wish they cooked so greatly in Germany😅 Saved this place for my next visits to Riga, I would certainly love to come here again.

Incredibly delicious food and extremely friendly people that made you feel right at home! When we first came in from the bitter cold, our lovely waitress even moved the space heater closer to our table and made sure we were warm enough. She also gave us excellent advice on what dishes to try and instructions how to eat the Hačapuri the right way. We were even given an extra glass of Georgian wine so that we could try both the dry and sweet offerings. Excellent service, tasty food, and definitely worth a visit!

This place is amazing 👏 I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try delicious authentic Georgian cuisine, I had to adžāruli hačapuri and the manager explained how to eat it properly. It was incredibly delicious! The owners are so nice and very passionate about their craft. It's very affordable, especially considering the portion size! Will definitely come back 🙌

The khachapuri was tasty and in big portion. However i felt that adding marinated chicken didnt improve much the taste, only cheese is better. Also I hope they can add more dish options in their menu.

Ate lunch here, the most authentic Georgian food in Riga. Really made me remember our time in Georgia. The food was delicious, interior lovely full of eye catching things and staff super friendly. Prices reasonable.

Our new friend Dimitri recommended this restaurant to us, as it was one of the only restaurants open this late. We had some kebab with fries and some Mozzarella sticks. The food tasted like it was made with old rotten oil. We immediately got a stomach ache. Would not recommend eating there. I would rather recommend eating a chicken burger with a special sauce at the McDonald’s to go window.

Amazing little 'dirty' kebab where - especially after midnight - Latvian meets European subculture. But tasty! The vegetarian kebab is particularly recommended. If the waiting time (up to 20 minutes in the evening) is too long, you can simply get a freshly tapped beer in the karaoke bar next door

I ordered the mix plate to dine in. My order took around 20 minutes to be ready, which is a long time. The only good thing was the portion of the food compared to the price. The quality of the donner was not good at al.. hard dry pieces of Donner beef and chicken and almost tasteless. Also the vegetables/salad was not fresh. Cleanliness of the place was not the best. WiFi inside and in front of the shop was very good

I wish google come up with reverse star ratings, this particular place has disappointed me so much that I wish I could provide the reverse star ratings to it. Me & my friend visited this place on a weekend, and ordered chicken kebab, to our horror this guy at the counter was blatant to say sorry no card only CASH! As we were hungry we paid for our meal and guess what we get, a full kebab with all cabbage, onions and some chunks of chicken meat! We felt that we were eating cabbage kebabs instead of chicken kebabs. When we went to notify the guy & the girl about the having been served a cabbage kebab & not chicken kebab, I was shocked that these people did not have the slightest of the courtesy and behaved in a way that they simply do not care! Once you have paid you will be served with just whatever. It was actually so disappointing experience that we promise ourselves we will rather starve if nothing is open at late night than to go to this place. I would not even give 1 star, but google would not allow me to post a review unless I do.

Beef kabob was gross. The meat tasted terrible and not seasoned or cooked well at all. As an American I’ve found a lot of restaurants in Latvia don’t really know how to cook meat in a good way.

Ordered mix. Received beef. Lukewarm. The rolling bread was large for the size of the filling they put in. I don’t get why they use such large rolling bread for such small filling. Also there is no toilet. Easily the worst kebab place in Riga. Also they didn’t serve anything besides rolled kebab, no kebab box no grill mix.

Tastiest kebab in Riga! Recommend coming here whenever you’re craving a kebab. It’s a bit pricey but it’s so worth it.

Tasty and satisfying! The kebabs were flavorful and cooked just right, while the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. A great combo for a quick and delicious meal.

Tasty kebabs and good price. Gyros plate for 8€ was massive and definitely worth it! They also have good selection of drinks and quality tea. If you can't finish the whole portion, they give box so you can easily take it with you. Seems pretty busy so not always spot to sit down.

Excellent kebabs and tap beer for a reasonable price. Convenient location to grab a snack or lunch during a walk or after work. The service was somewhat off-putting as the lady at the counter was unresponsive and rude, as well as dismissed my question about sauce selection in a frustrated and unprofessional way. This did not detract significantly from the overall experience seeing that she was replaced by her more friendly colleague fairly quickly.

I wanted to give this place less stars because of the unfriendly service at the counter and long wait time (20 min) but when I got the wraps and seen how big they are it is well worth it. The size of the wrap is XXXL. Very generous portion. 👍👏🌯👌 Taste was pretty good too. They don’t offer how spicy you want it or the types of toppings you want on it. The price for the amount you get was good too. Definitely recommend it when you’re very hungry and can eat allot or share it with someone. 👍👍👍😀

The meat was fine, but they use mayonaise for the sauce, so don't expect some high end kebabs here. Took 15 minutes to cook, so it's not a good fast food option either.

Very tasty kebabs and kebab platters outside of city centre. They are indeed very large in size, largest so far I have seen. There is an option to ask for a spicy sauce, but they do not have many sauces, just take it as it is. Meat is the real deal, prepared accordingly on the rotating grill, so the kebab tastes authentic. There is a bit of Latvian touch with the carrots and the thicker sauce, but all of that was very fresh and tasty. The size of the kebab is worth the wait and money - less expensive than some places in the centre. Smarter people call them and make an order beforehand, because it can take 15 -20 minutes to prepare it due to the amount of customers. It is a very busy place. One table was a bit dirty, but they are constantly working, so this means nothing, just that I noticed. Other than that, it was a very nice small place with other good offers. You can park near mego 90 minutes for free, but have to register the license plate in the device near the entrance to the store ''Mego''.

The food was perfect, even a little bit too much, but the atmosphere was great, but there were not too many seats so I took "Take out". The service was horrible, they spoke in only Russian, almost no Latvian, and the default was Russian. Since I don't speak any Russian they were a bit mad, but when I ordered they were angry for some reason, but at least they were fast paced.

When the time comes, just say your order again — but get creative, live a little. Every time I’ve shown up in the evening, there’s guaranteed confusion. Orders get mixed up, lost, or transformed into mysterious new creations. So go ahead, embrace your inner trickster and enjoy the ride. You're a customer in a business that has no clue what's going on — use that to your full advantage.

Absolutely delicious kebabs!!! The meat was perfect, fresh veggies and generous portions. Arjun and Sinan were both friendly from their warm welcome to quick speedy service. Kudos to Arjun and Sinan for their work. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Worst kebab meat I've ever had, it was so salty I couldn't eat any more than one mouthful. You don't get a choice of which meat and it wasn't cut fresh off the skewer. Fries and salad were ok. Spicy sauce was good. Waste of €5.60 as the meat went straight in the bin.

Pretty simple and straightforward durum kebab place that has been here for several years. Food is exactly as expected - cheap fast food without much to be excited about except of price and how fast order will be fulfilled.

Meat was unchewable, lettuce was bitter. Very expensive, one of the worst expieriences in my kebab eating history. The only good thing was the location and the hand sanitizer inside. DONT GO HERE!!!

Lacking Flexibility and Speed The food itself was tasty — the kebab was flavorful and the dip served with the fries felt fresh and well-made. However, the overall experience left room for improvement. Food took a while to arrive, and there was no option to adjust the spiciness level of the kebab beyond switching to a spicy sauce. The combo deal included only one specific type of beer, even though the fridge was stocked with other varieties. Also, the restroom could definitely use some attention and maintenance. Decent spot for a quick bite, but with some clear service and setup flaws.

Since I didn’t take the food to-go, I was quite disappointed that this order came in a box unlike showed in the menu pictures. I expected the kebab box to be on the plate and full of vegetables. Little to my knowledge this didn’t come with vegetables, just plain fries and meat with a little bit of sauce. I was eating with a friend, and while my food was hot at least, their food was cold, and the dining experience was ruined by that. Overall a pretty bad experience and I would rather spend my money on other places a couple of meters away. What a disappointment.

The space is wide with good room for you and your partner / lads. Food is hella nice. Service is kind and respectful. Meal presentation is stylish and pleasant. Large window panels make for a great atmosphere during a sunny day. ✨

Was the only one in the place at peak lunchtime, waited 25 min for kebab set. Fries were bland and tasteless - surprized how bad they were, i wonder if the chef tastes the fries cause anyone can cook better at home than the ones I had. Garlic souce was runny and sour. Kebab was okay, big chunk of it is filled with red cabbage which is not to my liking but i guess thats a preference thing. At least the pepsi was cold. 9 euros for that is a terrible price/performance ratio.

Terrible food. Kebabs are really small, especially for the price. You have to eat like a third of it to actually get to the sauce. Friend got fries with cheese, they were soggy, and the cheese was just a giant brick of melted solid cheese on top. Cheese tastes like it wad mixed with flour. She didn't even get the garlic sauce she asked for. Nothing tasted fresh, it seems to be reheated at best. Very disappointed.

A decent kebab place. The food is decent although my kebab felt slightly bland. Fries were excellent though. The portion sizes are huge so that makes them very good for the price. Service was nice enough and fast. The place wasn't crowded either. Also they offered all you can drink free tea which was a nice touch. Another small complaint i have is that seating felt a bit uncomfy. But it's a decent place overall
