The 17 best places to party in Maastricht

It’s our secret spot in Maastricht except when there’s any sport events. We visited again the city last week. It was nice warm inside and quite calm. They had a special recommendation: pulled pork pie. It was amazing!!!!! The outside was crunchy the inside was juicy. On the top with this little pig was “the cherry on top “. A little brown sauce with chips 😋

I was referred to Peter by one of his former cooks, as a place where one could get a beer and watch some footie. Peter welcomed me, showed me some artifacts of his remodeling in 2013, and even the foundations in the basement, for a structure built in 1728. My fish and chips was insanely good, I cannot imagine better. Highly recommended.

Best Irish bar in Maastricht! Good pint of Guinness and powerful measures of whiskey (mighty!) was disappointed that Peter didn't have the pan on come Sunday morning! Was craving a fry after South of Heaven festival! Got to hand it to staff they really played a blinder and great tunes!

Pricey, small portions bit food okay. Service was decent but toilets could do with a spruce up. Lots of unnecessary graffiti everywhere

Use of English is often required here as Dutch is less spoken between the staff. Free Wi-Fi. Clean environment. Food is tasty, but a little on the expensive side. Live sport shown on the big and small screens. A local hangout. More ideal for couples or group of people, but I was able to intermingle, even though I was alone. No smoking inside. Not really wheelchair friendly, although there are no stairs in the bar. Central location. Payment with cash or bank card is fine.

Peter's Irish Pub is a cool and nice pub to hang out with families and friends. They have beers and some other beverages. They serve dinner (burgers, potato chips, etc.). They have vegetarian burgers as well. They have good customer service.

We spent a pleasant evening in this beautiful pub, drank super nice beers and tasty snacks. Faizan was very welcoming and helpful in suggesting what to order, we will definitely come back!

Nice place to have a coffee and cake. Convenient opening hours as usually in Maastricht everything is closed by 18 but note caffe Zondag:) highly recommended!

Wow wow love this place! So many food options, so many interesting & delicious lemonades/drinks (try the green clementine one!) and really good vibe. Perfect to be on the terrace and catch some sun during the afternoon in the summer :) def recommend!

This place is always nice to sit. Simple but good. When on the other side of the river it's a good place to have a drink or two.

I am no drinker by any stretch of the imagination and never go out drinking in the UK because basically - pubs - which ones are left because a lot of them are closing down, are not the most inviting of places, especially if you are not a local. They can be quite hostile if you are not a local but when walking past Zondag one night during my stay in Maastricht. I saw happy people having a nice time on the outside tables. So, I thought I would take a chance and I ventured inside to have a beer. The bar was staffed by three friendly guys, service was swift and the beer was good. My beer was actually served in an old fashioned British pint glass with a handle - something I hadn't seen for at least 30 years in a British pub. So, I was taken to my environs immediately. So, when it came to payment. Their card reader wouldn't take my card and the friendly barman shrugged and said cheerfully 'We have problems with British debit cards unfortunately' and I said 'well, I have a Chinese debit card, let's try that!' which made him laugh, it made me laugh too as it had less chance of working than my British card but actually, the Chinese debit card kind of works OK in the Netherlands but it is a bit more hit-and-miss than my British bank card as you can imagine (for the record - we tried the Chinese debit card - it didn't work!). The way the bar staff at Zondag dealt with this problem and the solutions they offered impressed me so much that I am on here writing about it and am happy to give them full marks for their service, friendliness and understanding. Thankfully, my British debit card started motoring on the second attempt and I managed to pay for my drinks. What would have happened in the UK if that happened? Maybe death, dirty looks, comments about my dearly missed, deceased mother? More than likely! The chilled out response from my friends in Zondag? Doubtful! So, full marks to all staff at Zondag! Thank you for your understanding and may you have many more happy evenings with your wonderful patrons.

A nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. I really appreciate their wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks - it's not your usual Coke & Sprite. Their kombucha is especially tasty (really sour). The food is also pretty decent, I tried the tortilla de patatas - it was nice but a bit bland and cold. The only thing that really bothers me is their service. I went several times and they barely come to your table once. After that they never come back, even if they are not busy at all. It seems that they do not really care about the customers, which I find annoying. If it weren't for their bad service, the place itself deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience, so if you don't mind, give it a try.

We ate breakfast here and the food was just immaculate, I ordered the cheese toastie and the cheese was just perfect and very unique (probably the best toastie I’ve eaten in my whole life). The staff were really friendly, I recommend coming early as it gets busy within minutes! From Kuwait 🇰🇼

I gave it two additional tries after the first visit in hopes the poor customer service the first time was a one time event. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the fantastic views are not worthy of the very poor customer service. I would pay the high prices for mediocre food for the view, but the way we were “greeted”, and served our drinks and food made me feel frustrated each time we left. It almost feels like they don’t actually want customers coming to their restaurant. There are many places in Maastricht that have beautiful view (on ground level) with fantastic customer service and food.

Food really good, really nice location. However it took them 40 minutes to take our food order at lunchtime. We had to ask them to come and take our order. When the food came it was wrong so they took it away and then had to bring it back correct. The food was very tasty when it did arrive.

The view is amazing, we had a very beautiful sunset last time! Workers are friendly service is fast. The nachos are our fav and the drinks are okay! But we think some dishes/drinks are a little overpriced, I guess you pay for the vibe:) It's an enjoyable place!

This rooftop bar offers a fantastic setting with beautiful views, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening. However, I’d recommend avoiding peak hours, as it can be difficult to find a spot then. The drinks are well-made and enjoyable, but they’re a bit on the expensive side. The food is also tasty and nicely presented, though the portions are a little too small for the price. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind, but be prepared for the premium pricing and timing your visit wisely for the best experience.

I was really looking forward to a fun night out at Complex, but it turned out to be a big letdown. As soon as we arrived, we had to pay not at the counter but online right in front of the entrance, which was fine. But immediately after we paid, one of the bouncers called another one over, and they started talking in Dutch, glancing at me. Then they pointed at me and said, “You want to cause problems again tonight?” I laughed, confused — there were four of us, visiting Maastricht for the first time, and suddenly I was being treated like I was Netanyahu or Bin Laden. Apparently, according to these two bouncers, I was some Dutch girl who had caused problems there in the past. We spent ten minutes politely explaining we were Italian, just off work in a nearby town, but they refused to listen. They insisted I was a dangerous person simply because I supposedly resembled someone else, and they didn’t even show us the photo of this “troublemaker.” The absurd part is they made us pay before declaring me dangerous. They also kicked out a random stranger just because he defended us. This all seemed like a power trip for one of the bouncers, who clearly enjoyed making people feel small and ruining a group’s night out. In the end, after staring at me long enough, they noticed the girl in their photo had a mole that I didn’t have, and finally let us in — but the whole ridiculous scene completely killed the mood. Maybe saying we were “just four Italians” isn’t even accurate: we’re people from Milan with years of experience in the clubbing and arts scene. So my advice: avoid this place if you actually want a cool, enjoyable night out. Also, the crowd is very young, a 0.33L bottle of water costs €3.90, and the bathrooms were partly out of order — I had to wait in line in front of the men’s urinals against the wall. I do not recommend this club at all.

The bouncer that is going bald and had a beanie on tonight was really abusive. He kicked me out and even while I was cooperating and going outside he decided to sucker punch me behind the ear. There was no need for the violence and even the other bouncers and people sitting outside where appalled. I understand that dealing with drunk people every weekend can be a huge inconvenience but there is no excuse to overuse your power to abuse people who are willing to cooperate and go outside without causing trouble. I was basically out of the venue when he decided to punch me behind my head which is a very dangerous place to get hit as it can lead to serious injury especially if you manage to hit the spinal cord. Luckily he was very incompetent and I only got a headache but still there is no excuse to abuse somebody that is willingly cooperating with your orders and going outside on their own. Luckily the other staff was understanding and let me back inside but that was at the cost of getting hit for cooperating. I feel like the training for the staff should be improved and there should be rigorous check ups for who you hire because people who have an inferiority complex and violence tendencies shouldn’t be allowed to work here. I’m all for bouncers doing their jobs and being rigorous but sucker punching people who are cooperating with you and leaving on their own volition and being appropriate with the rules of the establishment even if they where only made aware of them at a certain point during the evening shouldn’t be a free ticket to physical abuse especially while being apologetic about it and being willing to leave whenever they were asked to. I didn’t mind the pushing and getting my hand in a painful handlock behind my back even though I was expressing the fact that I can leave without the physical aggression and I was clearly cooperating. The only thing I was offended by was the punch behind my ear as I was half outside the premises of the club as that was clearly uncalled for and completely unprofessional! Especially when the reason for my departure was something that the people behind the dj and the dj itself where engaging in and it didn’t seem obviously against the rules as people where openly engaged in this activity, and they themselves got me to be a part of it as well. Again at least the other staff saw what happened and where not only horrified by the behaviour of the baldy beanie guy but also offered me to come back inside. I feel extremely guilty for leaving a one star review but I feel like this rating is the least I can offer in regards to the unwarranted physical abuse I was exposed to tonight. The other bouncers and staff where amazing and professional so I feel like this might be a problem specifically with the bouncer that is insecure about his hairline and wearing a beanie whole there’s 40 degrees inside.

The organization of one of the events at Complex made a mistake in advertisement which led to me arriving later than they scanned tickets because I thought I'd still have plenty of time, when I asked the security personnel what that was all about they talked to me to figure out some solutions and eventually helped me to still get in. The service was nothing short of amazing and you can tell the people working here are fair and passionate about what they do. The venue itself is a bit hot, but always a great time!

We came for piña, which we looked forward to. İt was our first time at complex. Definatly do not come too early because of the crew is not ready you will still have to wait even if it is time to enter. İnside it was too war at times especially if it is full. Finding enough sace to dance was difficult and sometimes it was really sufficating so we went outside. İf you come here and you want to buy drinks you pay for a card and the register and they put the certain amount on your card to use at the bars. You can later ask for the money back.. but yeah most will forget. The event itself was very nice and the music was as promised

Make you pay for everything !! Lockers, no water, you have to get a card just so they can make More money. Bouncers very disagreeable, if you leave 1 second you can’t go back. Super warm !!

Great festival, one negative encounter with a drunk racist but security had our back as soon as they realised. Thanks security guy :) Food/drinks was a bit too expensive but yeah festoval prices. Overall GREAT music and atmosphere.

The seabass with grilled veg and the ribs were great! Nice cocktails as well. The vibe of the place is lovely, very cosy. The only downside was that the service was quite slow, and when we came with a reservation, the table wasn't available yet.

Great bar with good food during the day and nice parties after 10 pm :). They also serve a lot of great special beers and it constantly changes so its2a perfect bar for people who like to try new beers.

Overall pretty good. Staff was a bit rushed but did their job professionally. I ordered the burrata twice for lunch. The music was tasteful and the location excellent !

So I odered a table for a big group 1-2 months in advance. It got cancelled a week earlier (no one was aware of the reservation), then they told me that it is possible to come and in the night BEFORE the reservation was due they canceled again. What a mess and horrible service!

We didn't know what to expect, wanted some rich snack and stopped here. At first I thought this might be some touristic trap, and although the pilsener wasn't so good (but excuse my french, I'm a Czech...) the food was a total bomb 💣 I couldn't want more. Really really tasty. They had 3 tapas for 20€, right in the center, and I think that's fair. It was for two people and it totally made a dinner for us. A good snack for 3 or 4 people.Good job guys!

A really nice beer bar, with a great selection. I had some food to go with my beer; wings, chicken skewers and bruchetta. Well worth the money payed.

Stopped for some lunch when passing through Maastricht - was quick, flavourful pub food

I was there last Saturday. We ordered beers and food after tagging down the waiter (an older man). While we waited, we noticed how our waiter joined the table next to us (his friends?) and chit chatted for about an hour. I finally asked on the status of our food. He said he would go “check.” A few minutes later a different waiter comes and tells us that there was a problem with their system and our order got “missed.” As we’re getting ready to leave and find another place to eat, we noticed our food came out and was given to the our waiter’s friends. I find their behavior rude and unprofessional. Be prepared to wait a while. It seems like the staff is always sitting around and mingling and not paying attention

Great dinner location - modern decoration, good drinks and very nice food. The prices are quiet high, but still okay for Maastricht standards. Definite recommendation 😊.

The ceviche was really good, while the tuna was just okay—lacking a bit in flavor and overpowered by sauces like wasabi mayonnaise. The butter beef was good, and all dishes were beautifully presented. While the prices felt a bit high for the food quality, the overall experience—thanks to the ambiance, beautiful decoration, service, and presentation—makes this place worth a visit.

I really enjoyed my visit to Noon. The location and ambience is great. Couple that with good food, quick and friendly service and you’ve got the ingredients for a lovely time. I enjoyed everything I ate. It was presented well. Only drawback I’d say is the foie gras appetizer is teeny ! Recommendations and attentive service balanced that miss out. Definitely a spot I’d recommend.

Very delicious food, drinks and a great location. Ideal for a drink outside if the weather permits. A portion of the menu is for small bites/shared dining which is really great if you want a little bit of everything. The majority of the food has an Asian twist to it, so definitely recommend if you are a fan of Asian fusion dishes

It was my first time there and I really liked this place. The food is amazing and unique. The atmosphere is entirely suitable for a date night, a girls night or even for a good meal with friends. They also have a lot of really great wines. The staff was fun and lovely. The cocktails are amazing, I can’t recommend you enough to try Espresso Martini.

Tremendous service and food. The environment is stylish but cozy. Since we placed our reservation on short notice, we only got seats at a bar, but as soon as a table was available, we were asked if we wanted to move. We had starters and mains and the food was innovative and so so delicious. Afterwards we had cocktails, which were also perfect but not overpriced. The waiters were very attentive. All around a great visit.

We had a reservation indoors, but were seated outside anyway — no one seemed to care or take responsibility. The service was very slow, but the staff was friendly and pleasant. Food is okay but nothing special. The view on the city center from the terrace is stunning though.

We discovered this precious little gem by coincidence and we were thrilled by the location directly at the border of the river Maas in Maastricht. Beautiful mediterranean-like atmosphere with a luxury touch. Friendly staff and a delicate menu. The food is awesome and we really had a very pleasant early night dinner.

The food was very expensive and the price was way higher for what the quality and quantity would have you expect. I got a pasta dish with lemon sauce, peanuts and asparagus and for 22€ it was underwhelming. Barely any peanuts on that dish! Overall, I would not recommend this if you are hungry and want good value for your money

Delicious food and realy fast service. Definitely recommend the pork belly if its on the menu. The beef tournedos is also fantastic. I am typically not a fan of French wines, but our server was patient and successfull in having us try some delicious wine that paired very nicely with our dishes

I visited your restaurant today and ordered the Caesar Salad listed with chicken. However, when the dish arrived it also included fish and bacon ingredients that were not mentioned on the menu. As we do not eat bacon for personal reasons, we were unfortunately unable to eat the salad. We would kindly recommend listing all key ingredients on the menu in the future to avoid misunderstandings. Okay restaurant, but extremely rude staff (esp mid-aged light bearded guy who waited our table) and waited for main course for over 90mins (although we came well after rush hour). We asked to try a bit of draft beer, and were told they are busy. When asked for our food status, were told that we had appetizers with implication that it was okay for main course to take 90 mins. We asked to split bill between 2 cards (4 people), again received attitude that they are busy to do that for every table. It’s okay to say no, but you don’t need to scold your customers when you do so, and own your mistakes when you fail to deliver reasonable dining experience.

Completely overcrowded, full of aggressive stupid people, multiple fights in the span of minutes, one fight were police got involved, bouncers massively overwhelmed by the masses of people constantly pushing inwards and therefore being overly pushy and aggressive, also basic mainstream music

I have been there with some friends, it was a quiet day but also quiet packed. We went around 2am so almost closing. The first thing we noticed was the bad QUALITY of Music. IT was so BAD that after I went drunk in I came back SOBER. The DJ should be honestly fired. It was so bad like who tf thinks a slow song fits into the mix and after that slow sad song a FREAKING. AFRONEAT?! ALLOWWWW IT. Anyways, the service was overall nice. The guy working at the other bar with another one during that night were super nice. Hyping up the people, so service was also super quick. Thats a good point. Overall experience, the music was Bad. However, the service saves it so 2 stars. For people and students going there music might be bad due to bad DJ its not quiet paryy music and neither the mix were good. Felt bad for the people working there listening to it for HOURS. If they could change a DJ I would definitely come more often.

Paid 17.5 € for the Kick-off party there, but normally I wouldn't pay a cent for this. They organizers didn't announce beforehand that it would be LATAM music only. The place was more of a bar than a club. You still have to pay to use their bathrooms despite the horribly overcharged ticket. The waiters dropped two glasses on me. Although they claimed the party would last until 3am, we were kicked out before 2am, leaving us with just 2 hours of partying because before midnight the place was dead. Horrible vibe, even worse place. Wouldn't recommend. Please dont go

I could not have asked for a worse experience. It's an absolutely shambolic club. You host a party and can't create a line for people to enter; moreover, you start pushing your customers around like we're cattle. Unacceptable and unbelievable behavior if you ask me. After the comments by Cliniq, I totally understand the importance of taking care of your customers. However, when one of your bouncers physically assault a young girl trying to get into your club trying to get her stuff to go back home, I wonder how important you take the safety of your customers. I went there. They do not let me my stuff to bring inside. It was a small bag with my tissue and ID. They said I have to pay 7.5 euro for them. Ok I did not accepted that but I paid. They just be very rude about people and they said do not touch them. I did not touch them anyway. I said there classmates even women with me, I don't let them to touch the woman. The guy gets very angry. He did not let me back in my stuff. He pushed me out from the club. I did not touch at him he just pushed me away They called the police. I asked what I did. They said I have to leave or they will arrest me. I said okay I will bu t what I did. They said this is the rules. Okay I respected the rules, I paid th eoverpriced stuff and when I wanted to ask my stuff they did not allowed me to get it. I asked around 20 minutes. They did not care. Than police came and said that I am not allowed to stay in the city center. I asked why, the police man started to be angry and started to little shouting me that go away. I said okay but I have to give my stuff back to my mates. It was a really strange situation, the aggressivity of the bodyguard to push me out. Take care of this place, thay want to get your money and that is it. Shame on the guards, that want to protect everybody. They are scared and they cannot handle any situation. They are not bodyguards they are just salt in the salad.

Impolite and aggressive bodyguards and also critics and clothes experts. They appreciated that my pants (with zipper and belt ) are too sporty, they do not know that are also casual pants. My group (6 persons )was inside already, so, i called them and we went to Bommel club.

Great place with cool staff, sometimes extremely busy. Good choices of craft beers (draft) it’s not the best choices of wine but it’s ok. I didn’t try food but it looks tasty. It’s not cheap (little bit expensive like everywhere in Maastricht).

The location was excellent!! We had apricot Vlaai with hot drinks. If you are visiting Maastricht, I highly recommend trying Vlaai.

Rustic cafe in the very historic square of Maastricht (Amorsplien). Great selection of beer . The staff is very friendly and they have very good knowledge in beer and gives you great suggestions based on your taste or preferences . The terrace is also nice on a good summer day or when the weather is nice.

Nice ver, nice place. There is a good variety of bitterbollen. The beer selection is also very good. They have some fixed kinds and other rotating specialty beers. The bar inside is very pretty chill.

Great cafe at super affordable prices, went here a few times and never has a single item disappointed me. Super friendly staff and the Val-dieu is phenomenal! Strongly recommend here for a delicious fast relaxing meal!

Nice place with good food! Being here two times and ordered the same thing... the quality was great both times. The staff was really helpful and brought our plates fast eventhough the Café was full of people. A star is missing because they don't have an English written menu which will be good to add having into consideration that tourists or expats might not know Dutch and they can take a little bit too long to bring the food. But other than that, I totally recommend it !!

I had the spear ribs and some beers, it was lovely. Our waiters were amazing, kind, patient, funny and very friendly. As a starter I had the calamari and I can only recommend it. The food is very good, it was above my expectations. 4,5/5

We were enjoying a pleasant evening having some drinks in this restaurant when one of the waitresses came over three times in less than 10 minutes and asked us if we wanted anything else, to which we replied no. On the fourth occasion, she rather indiscreetly asked us if we wanted to pay the bill. Terrible service from one of the employees made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unappreciated.

We ate and drank here on numerous occasions throughout our weeks stay. We had breakfast, dinner, and light bites. The food is amazing and every member of staff was lovely, friendly and professional. We used this as our "local" whilst in Maastricht as we did the previous year. Positioned in the heart of market square we sat and watched the world go by. And they make a mean cocktail.

Nice atmosphere. I had the mint tea, it was soooo good. I recommend trying it with honey. The atmosphere was very nice, dimly lit.

Our family spent Easter dinner at Capital. The steak was amazing! But the service was slow. We wish we could have done another round of drinks with dessert, but no one came to take our order.

3.5* Came here to watch a game with friends, and we asked for drinks and some bitterballs. The bitterballs were very tasty, smooth on the inside and crunchy on the outside, a bit heavy on the pepper, but I did enjoy it. The passionfruit lemonade was also very nice and not too watery or sour. The environment was nice but I felt like the music was a bit too loud and a bit too disco esque for the place, but that's just me, we were also sitted behind some really heavy smokers and as someone who can't really drink or eat around the smell of heavy cigarettes I was struggling to enjoy my meal properly. The main "issue" I've noticed is that you can't split your bill, and you need to be constantly consuming. Otherwise, they'll be constantly bothering you, but they only do this to tourists. The people speaking Dutch weren't getting nearly as bothered as me and other tourists were.

Very disappointing experience. The waiters that were serving us were all rude, saying that we are barely ordering drinks or foods. Apparently, according to the manager, “the tables are expensive”. We felt very unwelcome when we just wanted to come and watch the FIFA finals with a couple of friends. We ordered a lot of drinks together, as well as snacks. The nachos were ok and so were the drinks. It was very overpriced and and they charged us 13,50€ for the Nachos, which is a different price on the menu. Also, there is a poor selection of alternatives for milk, such as oat and soy milk when ordering coffee. The service just outweighs the benefits.

What a fantastic place guys - an I mean it! Roger the owner is super charming and liquids here are absolutely delicious! An Iced Matcha with a mango, passion fruit, strawberry flavour with a special foam is a MUST!! It’s an off grid place close to everything in the City! WHAT A GEM!!

Wonderful breakfast, extremely good smoothies. We had a lovely waitor working on her first day and something went wrong. Whole team was very nice then making it a great experience so we returned the next day and enjoyed again the tasty dishes and the nice atmosphere.

We went here three times during our stay in Maastricht. It was conveniently located, offered great to-go and eat-in service and the dog that greeted us on our last day was adorable. I enjoyed the cinnamon roll and the croissant with nutella.

Really tasty homemade ice tea and the location is really aesthetic and super cute!! The service is great and the staff was super friendly!

I just want to add some comments to the Review on the screenshot here. I was there with my friend and I have several comments: 1. The bottle she Kindly asked you to open was not an alcoholic drink. It was a "club mate " so, Iced tea. 2. You have all the rights to deny the action, but I saw the irony, and you were not sarcastic, you were rude. 3. Everyone can have a bad day, but is free still being nice worldwide, just a suggestion for future clients. A simple "irony" can lead to really bad experiences. Wish you great future, and next time. Save the irony 😉 P/S: Few meters away from your bar, a super nice bartender opened the bottle for us 🩵, that we couldn't open because we bought it at the supermarket and they didn't have opener. We were just 2 tourists trying to have a mate drink and ended up having a very bad experience with you.

Mr. Smith is a hidden cocktail bar in Maastricht with a great atmosphere. The entrance is easy to miss—you have to ring a doorbell to get in, which adds a fun and exclusive touch. Once inside, the space is cozy, stylish, and dimly lit, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed night out. The cocktails are top-quality, with interesting flavors and a lot of attention to detail. The bartenders really know what they’re doing and are happy to recommend something based on your taste. Prices are on the higher side, but you do get great service, and they also serve drinks with water cups and popcorn, which is a nice touch. One thing to note—they are very strict about reservations. If you book a table, make sure to be on time, as they won’t hold it for long. It makes sense given how small the place is, but it does feel a bit rigid.

my first time exploring this spot and it didn’t disappoint at all. the drinks are perfectly balanced—kicky but super smooth. the place itself feels really intimate, with just the right music volume (so refreshing since some bars go way too loud). overall it gives off a cozy speakeasy vibe. definitely will come back here

A cozy cocktail bar with a speakeasy, living room feeling. Service was great. The waitress was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive, and you're served with complementary sides of chips and popcorn. Quality of the cocktails was excellent. We do a lot of mixing ourselves and visit cocktail bars wherever we go, so we recognize a good cocktail when we taste one. This was definitely up there. I've seen some reviews complain about the prices, but we thought they were very fair for how small scale the establishment is and how good everything was. This is simply what a decent cocktail costs. While we got in without a reservation, we would recommend making one considering the size of the place.

THIS IS THE BEST BAR I’VE EVER BEEN TO!! I love the vibe, the drinks and the staffs!! The staff that served us were friendly, knew a lot about cocktails and very professional. I love the concept and the house rules. We were indeed not using our phones, just had a great time talking and enjoying the delicious cocktails. It was also a nice touch that they offer unlimited water! This place is one of the reasons why we want to come back to Maastricht again! ♥️

This is a cocktailbar, delicious cocktails. There are a lot different kind of cocktails and they are all good. It is a small place in the basement. One thing you have to know when you are planning to go for a drink… when you use the gps and you are at the place you will not see the signs.. you will recognize it on the door handle … it’s a must .. good to experience it. It’s better to make a reservation …. I would say … enjoy your drink!!!

Be prepared to be lost in the street looking for the place - don't miss out the door nº55 with the buzzer for drinks! One of the best "to-do" in Maastricht. Starting with the "secret bar" experience, to the friendly and experienced service that gave us many recommendations and was really fast on delivering the drinks. Regarding these ones, were extremely well done, and suitable for the price, served with some snacks. The place itself is a basement with vintage items and small tables. Perfect for a date, pre-drinks, or just a cocktail night. Truly recommend!

Great little speakeasy with amazing staff. The cocktails took me by surprise and amazed both me and my girlfriend (who didn't know what to pick so asked for a surprise based on her taste). Definitely worth the visit.

We asked for tap water and they charged us 9€ for it. When we asked about it they told us that we didn’t order tap water. Even thought the water was in a carafe and not in a proper closed bottle. When argued about it the manager’s argument was that the he was a law student. Absolutely horrible service, very rude people and overall bad experience after the incident.

Nice spot! The Croque Madame and Caesar salad were delicious, and the service was fast.

Real Irish Pub, had a good cold hop House 13 Golden Lager Guinness. Staff is friendly, easy ordering at the bar. Atmosphere is cozy. Will try out some of the whisky and food next time. Prices are a bit chaotic, some are fair, some are pricy. Might have to do with import or not, or the sizes of the portions. We'll figure that out next time.

Very friendly staff, good beer and tasty large portions of food. We ordered The Irishman and Pork's Revenge, which was too much for two person. Super great taste!

Not PTSD friendly. Wanted to eat here today with my family. When we were trying to seat ourselves, one of the wait staff poked me in the back and shouted something in my ears. I did not see him coming and his actions triggered me to the point I had to leave immediatly. Tip for staff: don’t touch people or shout at them to get something done. I almost had a violent response, and absolutely no-one wants that, me in the least.

Stunning venue with great hospitality and care. It’s traditional to go there when in Maastricht for their specialty cocktail, the Kofi Anan. If this delicacy was not enough, the secret menu variant, the Ban Ki Moon is a titan of a drink.

Its a nice irish pub and it has a good happy hour time, you can do lots of activites like pool, darts and boardgames, but its small and hard to find a place to sit on busier days

Just rubbish to be honest, staff were slow allowed kids to rule the bar screaming and mess with customers, back home this would not be accepted. Peters pub much better run and a better pint..

Awful, walked in and nobody there to serve us, when he came to the counter, he never asked what we wanted, said hello, looked at us as if we were nothing so we left…

nice pub although in the weekends it gets super crowded and you may struggle to find somewhere to sit. Nice vibe with friendly staff and you can play table football for 50 cents per match and pool for 1€ per match. Music is good usually and there are decent drinks and shots available. Only issue is that drinks are overpriced, as is usual for bars in Maastricht. Still, a lovely pub definitely worth visiting in a less busy day

Great bar. Fair prices and a very lovely bartender. The wheel of fortune is a great idea and the fact that it's only 1 euro to spin it is amazing. I spun it and had to go and collect all the glasses in the bar, in return the bartender gave me a shot of Jager. Very fun

Living 200 meters away from that bar, I can regularly hear black out drunk people shouting and starting fights in the middle of the night during the week. I understand that people like to party but would expect at least a certain level of responsibility of the bar owners to prevent their customers from annoying the whole neighbor hood with their noisy behavior almost every day of the week.

The clientele cannot control themselves and like to vomit on neighbours doors. Frankly, they have the worst care for any sense of moral decency. The bar would be better if they had some self control.

My friend took me to this place on the last night of my visit to Maastricht. The students who come here are loud, obnoxious and too drunk to realize the beer they are being served is stale. When we left after 20 min., one of the drunken %&&$**@ standing outside threw a glass bottle at a pedestrian across the street. Outrageous! Luckily he missed. Stay away from this place!

13 € = #10 stamp card: beer for inwstamp and long drink for two stamps, recommande it!

It's mostly crowded and the drinks quite expensive.
